Mike Pence Just Revealed Why He Ignored Kim Jong Un’s Sister at the Winter Olympics

Vice President Mike Pence sat only a few feet away from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s sister at the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics, but he ignored her and purposefully so, he revealed Wednesday. Kim Yo Jong, sister and confidant of the North Korean dictator, is a prominent figure in a brutal regime and is blacklisted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for gross human rights violations.

The media, fascinated by Kim’s little sister, embarrassingly heaped praise on the woman.

Pence, though, ignored her to send a message.

His answer probably has several media outlets — which enthusiastically wrote about Kim’s smile, warmth, and beauty while comparing Kim to Ivanka Trump — feeling a little ashamed of their coverage.

“I didn’t avoid the dictator’s sister, but I did ignore her,” the vice president told Axios.

“I did not believe it was proper for the United States of America to give any attention in that forum to someone who is not merely the sister of the dictator but is the leader of the propaganda effort,” he added.

Kim Yo Jong has served as the chief of North Korea’s propaganda department, helping to shape her brother’s cult of personality at a time when he was purging officials and their families by the hundreds.

“You have to remember this is a family who very recently ordered their brother be murdered using chemical weapons,” Pence said, referring to the horrific murder of Kim Jong Nam at an international airport in Malaysia last year.

The assassination, which was carried out with VX, a deadly nerve agent, is believed to have been orchestrated by the North Korean regime.

“This is a regime and a family that also ordered that their uncle be executed with artillery fire in the presence of ten thousand people,” he remarked, calling attention to the execution of Jang Song Thaek shortly after Kim Jong Un seized power.

“This is evil the likes of which we have witnessed rarely in our time around the world,” the vice president told reporters,

“I wanted to send — by my silence — a very clear message, that the people of the United States know who we are dealing with and that we are going to continue to stand firmly and stand strong and with resolve with our allies until the regime in North Korea ceases to threaten our country and our allies with nuclear and ballistic missiles, and we will continued to hold them to account on their appalling record of abuse of human rights of their own people.”

Pence has said that the U.S. is open to talks with North Korea, but the maximum pressure campaign will continue until North Korea decides to pursue denuclearization.

As long as North Korea continues to threaten the U.S. and its allies, the U.S. and its international partners will continue to pile sanctions on the rogue regime, the implication appearing to be that Kim will either be brought to his senses or brought to his knees.

Rep. Adam Schiff Confirms Trump Statement That Dem Memo Contains ‘Sources and Methods’

White House problems with the Democrat’s “rebuttal memo” on the surveillance of Trump associates are genuine and the document could disclose “sources and methods,” California Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, confirmed.

“We need to go through that and identify that which remains classified and would implicate sources and methods or investigative interests,” he said at a newsmaker’s breakfast meeting on Wednesday sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.

His comments constituted a direct rebuke to his party’s top boss in the House of Representatives, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

White House counsel Don McGahn said in a statement Friday that Trump was “inclined” but “unable” to declassify the Democrat’s 10-page memo because it “contains numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages,” according to Politico.

Schiff’s conciliatory statement could embarrass Pelosi. In a stinging comment following the McGahn statement, Pelosi said, “President Trump’s refusal to release Intelligence Committee Democrats’ memo is a stunningly brazen attempt to cover up the truth about the Trump-Russia scandal from the American people.”

The Democratic memo is an attempt to counter a four-page memo released by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, a California Republican. The Nunes memo asserts the FBI relied on the use of the salacious and unverified Trump dossier in an application before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Based on the document, the FISA court issued a warrant to spy on Carter Page, an unpaid advisor to the Trump campaign.

Schiff said “we hope to resolve this soon” and noted the Democrats were working with the FBI.

He also somewhat backtracked on the Trump-Russia collusion issue, saying the Democrats’ definition of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia was much lower than potential criminal acts being reviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller. Collusion is not a crime under the federal statutes.

“I’ve never said there was proof beyond a reasonable doubt” about collusion, the California Democrat told reporters. “Our responsibility is not determining what can be proved to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt. Our responsibility is to tell the country as much as we’ve been able to learn.”

Schiff also broadly criticized former President Barack Obama for his failure to impose a ‘deterrent’ against hostile nations whose intent was to launch cyber attacks against the private sector and during the 2016 elections.

“I think the Obama administration should have done more to establish a deterrent when it had the opportunity,” he said.

“I was urging back when the North Koreans hacked Sony that we establish a deterrent then. I feared if we didn’t, not only would the North Koreans be back, but others would take a lesson from this that cyber-hacking and attacking is a freebie. There’s no consequence,” he said.

In the 2014 Sony hack, a North Korean group that called itself “Guardians of Peace” hacked Sony Pictures and eventually released Sony staff emails, personal information about Sony employees, executive salaries and even copies of several unreleased Sony films.

“In the North Korean situation, what I had urged was not necessarily a cyber-response to a cyber-attack, but to respond in a way that gets the North Korean’s attention.” He said the lack of deterrence encouraged other countries to launch cyber attacks, culminating with Russian cyber attacks.

“In the case of Russia, I think we should have named them a lot earlier, call them out on it. It’s not enough for members of Congress to do so. We need an administration to do it. The administration did it through a written statement in October, which I don’t think was enough,” he said.

“Of course the biggest way to get the attention of Russia is through sanctions. I had urged that the administration, before the election, begin negotiations with our European allies over sanctions that ought to be imposed over Russia’s interference,” Schiff said.

He also confirmed the hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee were authentic. “As far as we can tell, the documents that they dumped were largely or completely authentic. That is, they weren’t fakes.”

He said his “deepest concern” was that in the future a foreign power might add fabricated information in legitimate documents.

“I was concerned when that was happening in real-time was that among the real documents, they would dump fake documents. Or even more pernicious, they would take a real document, they would add a paragraph to it suggesting illegality and dump that,” Schiff said.

“So you would have a document where let’s say, two-thirds were accurate, one-third was document. You would have no way for the campaign in the final weeks to demonstrate that the document had been altered,” the Democrat said.

White House Releases Plan to ‘Build a Stronger America’

This Valentine’s Day the White House (WH) is giving the gift of economical hope by releasing a fact based plan on why America needs to focus on the rebuilding of our infrastructure. The statement begins with a quote from President Donald Trump, “It’s time to put up soaring new infrastructure that inspires pride in our people and our towns.”

Outlining how Americans overwhelmingly support this plan, the WH detailed some facts:

In a September 2017 Harvard-Harris poll, 84 percent of those polled believe the United States needs an investment in infrastructure.
- More than three-quarters of those polled, 76 percent, believe infrastructure funding should come from a combination of public funds, bonds, and public-private partnerships.
An overwhelming number of Americans, 81 percent, believe that infrastructure investments will improve their personal quality of life according to a July 2017 poll conducted by YouGov.
- 89 percent of those polled said investing in infrastructure will strengthen the economy.
- 82 percent believe infrastructure investments will bring more jobs to their communities.
In a recent Harvard-Harris poll, those polled believed infrastructure should be the second highest priority of Congress and the Administration, only behind stimulating American jobs.

It didn’t stop there though.

The report continued to detail how American businesses also support the investment into our infrastructure:

The vast majority of business owners believe that investing in infrastructure will improve the economy and see private investments as key, according to a survey conducted by UBS.
- 89 percent of the business owners surveyed believe infrastructure investments will improve the economy.
- 65 percent believe infrastructure investments will improve their business.
- 80 percent support private sector involvement in infrastructure.
- Business owners ranked public-private partnerships and private investment vehicles as the top two ways to fund infrastructure.
The American Society of Civil Engineers has called for “the creation of strategies to expedite the decision-making in the regulatory process for infrastructure development at federal, state and local levels.”👍
The Associated General Contractors of America: “Delays in environmental review and permitting decisions, as well as lengthy procurement processes, often derail the efficient delivery of needed infrastructure projects by many years.”
U.S. Chamber of Commerce: “It should never take more than two years to complete all federal permits required for an infrastructure project.”

Finally, the report concluded with a show of bipartisan support from elected officials:

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI): “Real action to streamline the permitting process will help jumpstart projects that are vital to our communities and our economy.”
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY): “The problem runs deeper than dollars and cents. American workers built skyscrapers in less time than our government now spends reviewing – not even building, but reviewing – plans for new bridges and stretches of highway.”
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Chairman Sen. John Thune (R-SD): “Aligning federal infrastructure funding with local priorities and looking at other impediments to building would increase accountability and help us meet our most critical infrastructure needs faster.”
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has previously acknowledged the dire state of American infrastructure and expressed concern that partisanship had held back past infrastructure improvement efforts.
- Minority Leader Pelosi in 2016: “…we have infrastructure problems around our country.”
- In 2016, Minority Leader Pelosi stated, “We have been talking about it [infrastructure] a long time. It never used to be a partisan issue. We used to always be able to come to terms on it in a bipartisan way. We have to go to a place like that.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has expressed concern about the condition of our nation’s infrastructure.
- Minority Leader Schumer in 2011: “It is no secret that much of our nation’s infrastructure is in disrepair…”
Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL): “Modernizing our transportation and communication networks is something we all agree the U.S. desperately needs in order to create more jobs and maintain our leadership in the global economy.”
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) in 2015: “America’s infrastructure is falling behind other nations, and it’s costing us jobs, compromising safety, and constraining economic growth.”
Former Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) under President Obama, Cass Sunstein has stated: “The status quo is not great. It’s ridiculous…. It can take several years, and millions of dollars, to obtain environmental clearance for construction permits, even if the goal is to develop green infrastructure and to improve the environment.”
President of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) Terry O’Sullivan and Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) wrote: “America used to be known as a country that built great structures on time and on budget. If real federal permitting reform is part of a broad-based infrastructure initiative, we can be that country again.”
Common Good, a nonpartisan reform coalition, issued a report in 2015 stating: “Rebuilding America’s decrepit infrastructure requires a new permitting system. Approvals today can take a decade, sometimes longer.”
The Bipartisan Policy Center issued a report in 2016 stating: “Infrastructure projects are subject to various environmental and planning statutes and typically require multiple permits, from many levels of government. The risk that a project will be delayed due to sequential permitting and reviews is one of the biggest barriers to getting projects done.”
- The Bipartisan Policy Center also stated: “Permitting and environmental review, particularly when executed sequentially, is one of the most significant deterrents to private capital investing in U.S. infrastructure projects.”

This is exciting news for America and much needed for the benefit of our future. Once again, Trump is keeping his promise of making America great again!

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Anatomy of a Coup”

Every place you look in Robert Mueller’s investigation, the same names keep popping up: FBI agent Peter Strzok and sleazy, foreign private eye — or “British intelligence agent” — Christopher Steele.

So it’s rather important that they both are Trump-hating fanatics, and one was being paid by Trump’s political opponent in a presidential campaign.

Steele is the author of the preposterous dossier that sparked the special counsel investigation, and Strzok is the FBI agent involved at every crucial turn of both the Trump and Hillary investigations.

As we found out from the House Intelligence memo, Steele told Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr that he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” (Ohr’s wife worked for Fusion GPS, and, like Steele, was being paid by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.)

In the hands of Trump-obsessive Peter Strzok — he of the estrogen-dripping texts to his Trump-hating FBI lawyer mistress — the dossier was used to obtain a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act against Trump’s alleged “foreign policy adviser,” Carter Page. The FISA warrant against Page constitutes the last crumbling piece of the “Russia collusion” story.

Strzok was the person who instigated the Russia investigation against Trump back in July 2016. He was the lead agent on the investigation into whether Hillary, as secretary of state, sent classified information on her private email account. (Conclusion: She had — but it wasn’t any of the FBI’s business!) He volunteered for the Mueller investigation and remained there, right up until his Trump-hating texts were discovered by the inspector general of the FBI. (He was also, one surmises, the authority for many of the media’s lurid, anonymously sourced claims about how the investigation was proceeding.)

Most strangely, Strzok was the FBI agent who asked Trump’s national security adviser, Michael Flynn, about his phone call with the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak.

There was nothing wrong with Flynn’s conversation with Kislyak, but Flynn later pleaded guilty to lying to an FBI agent about it, based on a secretly recorded intercept of the phone call. The question remains: Why was any FBI agent even asking about a perfectly legitimate conversation? No one seems to know. But we do know the name of the FBI agent who asked: Peter Strzok.

Aside from Strzok’s girl-power text to his mistress upon Hillary becoming the first female presidential nominee — “About damn time!” — his most embarrassing message to her was about the Russia investigation:

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office (FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe) — that there’s no way (Trump) gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40 …”

The media have tied themselves in knots trying to explain this text as meaning anything other than its obvious, natural meaning. To wit: “Although the worst is unlikely (Trump wins/you die before age 40), you still prepare by taking out ‘insurance’ (we take Trump down with the Russia investigation/your family gets a payout).”

I keep looking for a plausible alternative interpretation, but they’re all absurd; e.g., The Washington Post points out that even with an insurance policy, YOU STILL DIE! (Yes, and even with the Russian investigation, TRUMP IS STILL PRESIDENT.) Everyone except American journalists understands that Strzok’s “insurance” was their plan to tie Trump up with an endless investigation. Which, coincidentally, is exactly what they’ve done.

Contrary to every single person talking on MSNBC, the issue is not whether FBI agents are allowed to have political opinions. In a probe of the president, FBI agents shouldn’t be dying to take him down for political reasons.

You want drug enforcement agents to be hungry to shut down drug cartels. You want organized crime prosecutors to be hungry to dismantle the mob. You want your maid to be hungry to clean your house. But the staff on a special counsel’s open-ended investigation of the president aren’t supposed to be hungry. They’re supposed to be fair.

This is an investigation with no evidence of a crime, apart from politically motivated, anti-Trump investigators relying on a Hillary-funded dossier.

Also contrary to every single person talking on MSNBC, Steele’s dossier is not like a neighbor who hates you telling the police you’re cooking meth in your basement. The police still have to investigate, don’t they?

First of all, if after 18 months of police work, the only evidence that you’re cooking meth in your basement is STILL your neighbor’s bald accusation, reasonable people will conclude that your neighbor is a liar. That’s what the Steele dossier is. It was the only evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia 18 months ago, and it’s the only evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia today.

Moreover, it’s not just the informant who hates the target. The investigators do, too. This is more like a police officer calling the police on his wife, sending himself on the call, shooting her, then writing up the police report concluding it was a justified shooting.

When your entire investigation turns on a handful of people with corrupt motives, maybe it’s time to call off the investigation.

A Moment of Your Time

I am a dad to four wonderful children, and Papa to three awesome grandkids. My children are adults now, and one grandson out of school. I know the fears and concerns every parent experiences sending their children off to school.

Yesterday hit me as hard as anyone. Senseless, tragic, gut-wrenching; how many adjectives and adverbs are there to express any of our feelings, reactions, and responses.

Adding gasoline to the fire of this grief-stricken incident in Florida are the Leftist who immediately politically weaponized the situation with all their moronic call for more gun control. Feigning concern for Floridian citizens, they callously use hate generating verbiage to fan the flames of gun control rhetoric.

Although I wasn’t asked, I still would indulge your time to express a few thoughts on this tragedy;

There are three groups of people who want a disarmed citizenry; Criminals, Terrorist and Tyrants. Have you noticed that you never hear of any person entering a known armed location and start shooting? Deranged people are smart enough to target DISARMED locations and targets.
Investigate any country that has confiscated citizens firearms and see who still has firearms. Criminals, Terrorist and Government Tyrants. Excluded the last, the first two will always be able to get firearms and munitions through countless black-market sources. All the gun control laws in the world won’t stop criminals and terrorist from obtaining their chosen methods of murder. No guns, trucks work.

So, the answer is not “weapons-of-mass-murder” control. Unless you target the sources of weapons (i.e., black-market) and target hate groups (as Israel has done very successfully), mass murder won’t go away.

The Spirit of Murder is not something that can be legislated. Terrorist (not just radical Islam) are so steeped in hate, and all related emotions, that trying to control them through laws is an exercise in stupidity.

Yes, mental illness is a serious issue. I remind you that it was LIBERALS who got all the mental illness facilities shut down. And now they refuse to own the problem and do something about it.

As a Christian with a genuine personal relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ, I know that the only real, lasting answer is a genuine personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. All social ills our world suffers are spiritual in nature. It is the fallen nature we are all birthed with because of Adam’s sin.

Notice I did NOT say that religion is the answer. Christianity the religion is not the answer either. ONLY A GENUINE PERSONAL RELATIOSNSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE PERMANENT ANSWER TO ALL OF EARTH’S SOCIAL ILLS.

What would be wrong with every school have fences that restrict entry points into the school and after school starts, lock down those entry points. When someone wants in, they are screened via video identification. This young man would have NOT had access to that school if such a low-cost device was implemented.

That is something any school could start installing right now. They have the money. It’s found in any of these over blotted School Superintendents salaries. In fact, we have all they money in the world to set up the world’s most elaborate security systems in all our schools; GET RID OF OUR OVER-BLOTTED BUERACRACIES STARTING WITH JIMMY CARTER’S DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION and give all that money back to the States where it originated and belongs.

Every time we have tragic incidents like this our politicians race to microphones and cameras yelling that we need more legislation. For them, the solution is all problems more government legislation.

We are living the results of such mental illness. More government is NEVER the answer. Think about this; Most Lawson the books are there to legislate God’s Ten Commandments. Man, and his governance are not the origination of laws. God is the originator or laws. Submitting to His laws generates the moral core that eliminates these discussions. Man, never has, and never will, have the legislations that can solve societies ills (sins) better that what ABBA FATHER, God the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, has proven to do.

About Those DACA Recipients: Call Them Lawbreakers, Not Dreamers

Last night I ended my show with a rant about DACA and Dreamers. My earlier guest, Timothy Shea, suggested I publish my thoughts. He seemed to think my stream of consciousness soliloquy on illegal v. legal immigration might be of interest to people at large. So here goes! “My Rant” aka “Tami Unplugged!”

I have a little something to get off my chest. I am fit to be tied about this whole thing with DACA and Dreamers.

DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

The latest immigration bill that Trump will support would allow 1.8 million “Dreamers” to stay and pursue a path to citizenship. Think of that — 1.8 million.

I believe there are about 690,000 that should have been included, but for some reason it’s been bumped up to the 1.8 million. Granted, Trump wants the wall, and he wants to end chain immigration and the visa lottery. That’s admirable. We need to do that. You’re not a country if you don’t have enforceable borders.

I am absolutely opposed to calling these people “Dreamers.”

That romanticizes what they really are: unlawful, illegal immigrants. Period.

I do feel bad that they were brought here by their law-breaking parents. But ever heard the adage 2 wrongs don’t make a right? Absolutely true. They might have been brought here by their law-breaking parents, but we don’t fix that by breaking the law continually and allowing them to remain here without a legal process.

No matter what you say and how much empathy you whip up, the simple fact remains that these people are here in our country illegally.

If — and that’s a big if— they REALLY want to be Americans, and by want to be Americans, I don’t mean conning to get all the free stuff, free healthcare possible. They are trespassing. They absolutely are.

If they entered your home without asking, sat down on your couch, starting watching your TV, you’d be calling the police. You’d be asking, “Who are you? Why are you in our home?”

If they told you, “It’s not safe where we live. We don’t have money where we live. There isn’t a way to make money. And we don’t have healthcare and schools where we live. So we thought we’d come here because you have a safe home, there’s a school next door. This is a good place to be. We think we’ll just stay here.”

Nobody would allow that! Yet we allow it here in the United States of America.😠

If they really want to be Americans, they should go home and begin the process that millions before them have undergone. They should come here legally. They should be productive and NOT take free stuff. They should learn English and eagerly assimilate into America’s culture. That means no demanding we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, which is pretty much a fake holiday that is not even celebrated, or little celebrated in Mexico.👍

I talk a lot about being the granddaughter of legal Norwegian immigrants. I’m proud of that. I’m proud of my Norwegian heritage. I don’t begrudge anyone being proud of their heritage. That’s part of what makes us a fantastic nation, especially if we say we’re Americans first.

My Grandpa Ole came from Norway by himself at age 15. Let me repeat that: Grandpa Ole came from Norway by himself at age 15. He was a dreamer. He dreamed of making a life for himself in America.

He had an aunt to stay with while he attended a one room school house so he could learn English and all other subjects necessary to take the test to become a Naturalized citizen. My grandpa Ole would not see any of his family in Norway for 40 years! But he was willing to make that sacrifice to be an American.

I learned my work ethic from my grandparents, who worked hard six days a week, always taking one day off for church.

I know some Norwegian because I implored Grandpa to speak with me. More often than not he would remind me we were Americans and should speak English.

I have other friends with tremendous immigration stories. Stories of hardships endured so they could be Americans.

For instance the Kellers who came from New Zealand. Mr. Keller had been captured and put in a concentration camp in the South Pacific during World War II. He was liberated by Americans. He dreamed of living in America and brought his entire family years later. It took two years of hardship, but they arrived and became naturalized citizens. He spoke so much about what they owed this country that he four boys all joined the military when they were old enough: two joined the Navy, two joined the Marines.

THAT’s an immigration story.

The point being, we are a nation of law keepers, not law breakers. Illegal entrance is the antithesis of a Constitutional Republic that is a nation of LAWS.

My Grandpa had a dream that his children and grandchildren would be good, hardworking Americans.

Calling DACA folks Dreamers cheapens the sacrifices made by millions of legal immigrants to this great nation.

I have a dream that I don’t ever have to push 1 for English in my own country. I have a dream that American kids won’t be punished for wearing t-shirts with American flags or the Second Amendment. That’s the kind of dreams I have. And I hope you join me in supporting that dream.

‘You Bet I’m Voting Democrat Because I Want Free Stuff See’

Worldview is a very big deal: each of us has a worldview, the lens through which we see the world. Our parents and grandparents, our teachers, our friends — they all contribute to the formation of our worldview.

As for me, I had conservative parents who taught me to think critically at a very young age. I had conservative, immigrant grandparents, teaching me to work hard and well from a young age. And on my own, I discovered the wonderful radio broadcasts of some fellow that made terrific sense. Mom caught me in my room, at age ten, listening and laughing at his great humor and wisdom.

Mom asked, “Tami, who in the world are you listening to?’

I responded with a smile, “Mom, this is some guy name Ronald Reagan and he’s GREAT! You guys would like him!”

Mom and Dad both laughed at that. Dad slapped me on the back and said, “That’s my girl!”

So you’ll excuse me for saying this, but I have no time for whiny babies with a big case of victim mentality who want lots of stuff without lots of hard work. Case in point. When I was a junior in college, and a French major, I was nearly fluent and the Dean of the French department told my father that IF I could live in Paris for three months I would be indiscernible from a native speaker. I promptly asked Dad if I could study in Paris for a term.

Dad’s answer?

“Are you NUTS?! Your mother and I don’t go to France and I have a job and make good money. You need to finish school, get a job, and earn your own way to Europe.”

That was a glass of cold water on my plans, a dose of reality. I did manage to go to Guatemala as an interpreter for a short term mission: that trip only cost the folks $100 and I was doing some good.

But these young Lefties who decry Capitalism and whimper “Boo hoo! Capitalism is EVIL!! And don’t let any of those nasty conservatives near me and … oh wait. I’ll rant more after I recharge my iPhone at Starbucks” — I have zero patience for that.

The Dems are mostly big proponents of zero population growth — old Al Gore has convinced everyone we are the enemy of the planet. Consequently, Lefties are not breeding enough to replace their electorate.

What to do?

First make sure the Gen-X and Gen-Z and Millennials are brainwashed with government school propaganda, which is essentially radical social experimentation and has nothing whatsoever to do with a classical education. Second, import an electorate, and what better group than any and all illegal aliens, preferably illegals who do not speak English and will readily believe every lie The Left tells them.

What we all know is that rewarded behavior is repeated, punished behavior typically is discontinued.

People that make it to America by any means possible — any means but legal channels that is — are quickly snatched up by Leftie do-gooders and told, in their language, where to find food and shelter, how to keep getting free food, free phones, free health care.

Dad used to tell me, “It’s a sin to give someone something for nothing.” Oh, he didn’t mean that we would never have birthday or Christmas presents, though even those were reasonable and modest. My father meant that it was wrong to have, or to foster in others, an entitlement mentality.

I tell folks, “God’s grace is free, everything else you better work hard for!”

So when I see a meme like this it brings all these emotions back, flooding my mind.

I’m not a violent person (though I am trained and do conceal carry, so don’t test that theory), but I just want to slap the person who has nothing good to say about my beloved country, America, and then turns around and moans and groans and wants more free stuff. These idiots have no understanding of basic economics: there is NO FREE STUFF! Someone always pays.

What they mean is, “I want free stuff. Let someone else pay.”

And that, my dear friends, is immoral. That’s also the Democrat mantra. Here in the United States of America we are all free to work hard and better ourselves. We LEGAL citizens are constitutionally guaranteed the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Beyond that? Get off your backside and work and stop complaining. #NoFreeStuff

Breaking: Leftist Radicals Storm Republican Prayer Rally, Burn Flags, Clash With Cops

These people are unbelievable. They stormed a prayer rally. Let that sink in.

They also burned the American flag in their anti-prayer protest.

Joey Gibson leader of the group Patriot Prayer held a prayer rally at the University of Washington and spoke about unity. The protesters showed up and got rowdy. [Editor’s note: I refuse to call them ‘counter-protesters’ as the Media (D) does because this was a prayer rally, not a protest.]

When the protesters got aggressive, law enforcement officers stepped in and did their job.

Five people were arrested when counter-protesters took over a Republican rally at the University of Washington where dissenters burned the American flag as they booed the Trump administration.

The clash broke out after campus group the College Republicans invited right-learning group the Patriot Prayer to speak on Saturday.

In retaliation hundreds of students and demonstrators, gathered to oppose the Trump supporting rally.

Those that attended the rally wore MAGA hats and proudly displayed the flag. The other side, eh, not so much.

College Republicans President Chevy Swanson said the goal of the rally was to create a safe space for conservatives to share their views and promote free speech.

What? The left doesn’t want ‘safe spaces’ anymore?

About 75 minutes after the rally, counter-protesters began to flood in, despite police barricades.

Although the College Republicans had worked with police to prepare for the day, security was unprepared to deal with the hundreds that marched through the square.

The dissenters marched in with signs saying ‘Trump and Pence must go’ and ‘Trump is the symptom, Capitalism is the disease, Revolution is the cure’ and ‘Resist’.

‘We’re here to fight back against the far right and fascism on our campus,’ one speaker of the counter-protest said.

Scuttles broke out between the two groups, causing campus police to use pepper spray and arrest five counter-protesters.

You might remember Joey Gibson, the Japanese man (whose bodyguard, ‘Tiny’, is Samoan) that tried to shake hands with Antifa protesters. He is constantly called a white supremacist and a neo-Nazi by the left — including Nancy Pelosi.

But leftists are terrified of Gibson and his Patriot Prayer group because they really believe that they are Neo-Nazis.

One student shared he was upset to see how many of his peers showed up for the Patriot Prayer speech.

‘I refuse to be scared away by Neo-Nazis. This is where I live and work and where my friends live and work, and I’m not going to leave,’ Junior Nick Peda said.

‘The College Republicans keep pulling this stuff and I’m tired of it. It’s really disappointing to see so many of my classmates on the other side,’ he added.

Conservative college groups are being billed for security because leftists go nuts and get violent when someone disagrees with them. Is that fair? Shouldn’t the protesters bear that cost? After all, they’re the ones causing the problems.

This week President Donald Trump proposed the US should host a military parade in 2018. With a knee-jerk reaction, Democrats immediately condemned the move.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) said, “I think confidence is silent and insecurity is loud. America is the most powerful country in all of human history; you don’t need to show it off.”

Rep. Adam Smith (D-CA) commented, “A military parade of this kind would also be a departure from the values of our constitutional democracy.”

Finally, Reps. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and Ted Lieu (D-CA) jointly observed, “Because authoritarian regimes like Russia and North Korea hold massive military parades does not mean that we must as well.”

Despite these leaders’ claim of flashy authoritarianism, military parades have been held in the United States since 1865. These included the show of tanks, missiles, and hundreds of thousands of troops; all occurring in the years 1919, 1942, 1946, 1953, 1957, 1961, and 1991.

The ironic thing is that military parades were often an issue that held bipartisan support. Back in 2014, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) voiced his support for a military parade on American soil.

New York’s Mayor, Bill de Blasio, backed Schumer’s idea stating, “The brave men and women who have selflessly served our nation with courage and skill in Iraq and Afghanistan deserve a recognition for their sacrifice. I stand with Sen. Schumer in his call for a parade to honor our veteran heroes, and New York City would be proud to host this important event.”

Holding a liberal to their word is hard to do though, especially if they’re a politician. So, as more leftists continue to preach that military parades are against American history and how terrible the Trump White House is for proposing such an idea, let this video be a reminder as to how two-faced the Democrats can be.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Carter Page: Agent 000”

If you’ve been watching MSNBC and, consequently, have no idea what was in the CONTROVERSIAL! DISPUTED! AMATEURISH! memo released by the House Intelligence Committee (the “Nunes memo”), here is a brief summary:

The Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee paid a Trump-hating British private eye, Christopher Steele, to produce a “dossier” on Trump, relying on Russian sources.
The Department of Justice used the unverified dossier to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant against Carter Page, an alleged “foreign policy adviser” to Donald Trump and the last frayed thread of the Russian collusion story. The FISA court was not told who had paid Steele to create the “salacious and unverified” dossier — in the words of the showboating former FBI Director James Comey — much less about Steele’s personal hatred of Trump.

After 18 months of steely-eyed investigation, the only parts of the dossier that have been “confirmed” are bland factual statements — Moscow is a city in Russia — while the untrue parts are anything having to do with Trump or his associates.

As New York Times national security reporter Matthew Rosenberg explained to MSNBC’s easily excited Chris Hayes last March:

“Both journalists and others who had copies of it for a long time have not been able to report much of it out. We’ve heard that, you know, the FBI and the Intelligence Community believe about 30 percent of it may be accurate, but most of that 30 percent, if not all, has been non-Trump stuff.”

Four points:

1. The only reason the hapless Carter Page was mentioned by Trump as a “foreign policy adviser” during the campaign was that the media and “foreign policy community” (FPC) threatened to excommunicate any FPC types who went near Trump, the better to laugh at him for having no decent foreign policy advisers.

Danielle Pletka, with the “conservative” American Enterprise Institute, expressed the FPC’s disdain, telling the Times: “It’s always surprising when a member of our relatively tightly knit community is willing to sacrifice their reputation to stand with someone like Donald Trump.”

This is standard procedure for the left, akin to how they treat black Republicans. Step One: Viciously attack any black person who works for a Republican. Step Two: Mock the GOP for being all white.

Their slanders against Trump worked! No one from the FPC would associate with him, so in a moment of desperation, Trump read five names off a list, including Page’s, during an interview with The Washington Post.

The New York Times, the next day:

“Top Experts Confounded by Advisers to Trump …

“… the Republican foreign policy establishment looked at them and had a pretty universal reaction: Who?

“… even Google offered little but outdated biographies of Mr. Trump’s new cast of experts …

“… None have spoken to their new boss.”

This has led to an inane media narrative, with Page being simultaneously portrayed as an all-powerful spy of Kim Philby proportions — but also a laughable nobody. Or, as a Russian spy described him in an intercepted conversation back in 2013: “An idiot.”

2. No one ever checks anything in Hollywood. You could go around claiming to have written “Gone With the Wind,” and you’ll never be busted.

It’s the same in Washington, D.C., only worse. Contrary to the self-admiring cliche about Washington being a city that runs on power, almost no one in D.C. has any real power, so it’s a city that runs on suck-uppery and B.S. I personally know of five people who claim to be advising the president, who aren’t, and I don’t get out much. That’s why Page won’t just come out and say: DONALD TRUMP HAS NO EARTHLY IDEA WHO I AM.

3. The use of the federal government’s spying powers against an American citizen is yet another problem of unrestricted, unvetted immigration.

The only reason the FOREIGN Intelligence Surveillance Act can be used against American citizens in the first place is that we have all these “American citizens,” like Omar Mateen (Pulse nightclub), Syed Farook (San Bernardino), Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (Boston Marathon), and Abdulrahman al-Awlaki (killed by Obama drone strike in Yemen).

Maybe like California’s new “Real” I.D. cards — required by the federal government because the state gives driver’s licenses to illegals — we could start distinguishing “American Citizens” from “Real American Citizens.”

Because of this confusion, the FISA court that was supposed to be used against terrorists and spies is instead being used against Trump supporters. Here’s Malcolm Nance, terrorism analyst, smugly warning Page back in March 2017 on MSNBC:

“I have a message for him, all right? U.S. intelligence is not going to be coming at him like a lawyer, right? We will turn on the entire power of the U.S. collection system. And if he is lying, it is going to become very well-known very quickly. … If there’s a FISA warrant out there … we have the ability to collect anything on him, including all of his finances and every relationship he has with anybody in this world.”

If only the federal government were as gung-ho about spying on terrorists as it is to spy on Page, the FBI might not be a complete laughingstock right now. (My late father, an FBI agent, is rolling in his grave.)

The FBI will still miss the next 9/11, but at least no one is going to forget to file with the Foreign Agents Registration Act anytime soon.

4. Rep. Trey Gowdy recently defended the Mueller investigation in a clip that has now aired on TV more times than “The Shawshank Redemption.” According to Gowdy, the House Intelligence memo has nothing to do with Robert Mueller’s investigation because he’s just looking into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

With all due respect to Gowdy, that’s not what Mueller is investigating.

The letter from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointing Mueller expressly directs him to investigate “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump.”

Since it has appeared for quite some time now that there is no collusion, the only thing left for Mueller to investigate is Trump’s “obstruction of justice,” i.e. Trump being pissed off that his time is being wasted.

But without evidence of Trump colluding with the Russians, no independent counsel should have been appointed in the first place. The Department of Justice already has more than 10,000 lawyers. Why pay another dozen to look into foreign interference in our elections unless the president is implicated and can’t investigate himself?

The reason Rosenstein appointed Mueller was that he believed the “salacious and unverified” dossier. We know that because Rosenstein personally signed one of the FISA warrant applications based on the dossier — backed up by a Yahoo article, which was also based on the dossier.

A cabal of anti-Trump fanatics cooked up the Russia collusion story, and don’t-rock-the-boat bureaucrats went along with it, so we now have a behemoth investigative monster chasing unicorns.

The Devin Nunes memo released last Friday described an FBI application to the FISA court. The FBI was seeking permission to spy on Carter Page, a low level Trump advisor with Russian contacts. The application included the infamous Christoper Steele Trump dossier.

That would be the same dossier that former FBI Director Comey said contained “salacious and unverified” information. Not only that, the Clinton campaign funded the thing and possibly contributed information to it.

Comey’s response when he read the memo – That’s it?

Judge Rules Bakeshop Owner Doesn’t Have To Bake Wedding Cake For Gay Couple

A California judge ruled Monday the state couldn’t force a cake shop owner to bake a cake for a gay couple’s wedding, ruling that doing so would constitute a violation of free speech.

Superior Court Judge David Lampe denied the State of California’s request for a preliminary injunction that sought to force bakeshop owner Cathy Miller to design a wedding cake for a gay couple.

“For this court to force such compliance would do violence to the essentials of Free Speech guaranteed under the First Amendment,” Lampe ruled, according to a press release sent to The Daily Caller News Foundation. The injunction also posited that if Miller refused to design the cake, the state would force her to close her Tastries Bakery shop altogether.

“We are pleased that the judge recognized that the First Amendment protects Cathy’s freedom of speech,” chief counsel and Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF) president, Charles LiMandri, said after the ruling, the press release reports. LiMandri argued in Friday’s court hearing that Miller doesn’t discriminate against same-sex couples, but refuses to use her artistic talents to express a message that conflicts with her religious beliefs about marriage.

The ruling comes after two women asked Miller to design their wedding cake and filed a complaint with the state, alleging that Miller discriminated against them on the basis of sexual orientation. They also posted about the event on social media. Following their complaint, the state launched an investigation and sought a court order to force Miller to bake their wedding cake.

“This is a significant victory for faith and freedom because the judge indicated in his ruling that the State cannot succeed in this case as a matter of law,” LiMandri said. “No doubt the California officials will continue their persecution of Cathy, but it is clear that she has the Constitution on her side.”

The cake baking incident comes after the Supreme Court announced in June that it would hear a similar case that occurred in 2012, when a baker in Denver refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple. Lower courts had previously ruled that Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop had violated the state’s accommodation laws by refusing to serve a customer based on sexual orientation, according to The Washington Post.

Democratic lawmakers’ rebuttal memo to their Republican counterparts includes references to “sources and methods” that need to be redacted, Fox News reports.

Lawmakers of the House intelligence committee voted to declassify the Democratic memo late Monday, giving President Donald Trump five days to conduct a national security review of the document. This national security review will include a review of sources and methods which officials say must be withheld from the public for intelligence concerns.

The memo was compiled in response to its Republican counterpart who released a memo that alleges broad abuse of FISA authority by top officials in the Department of Justice and the FBI. Democratic lawmaker Adam Schiff, who played a key role in compiling the document, said he fears “political redactions” from the White House during the intelligence review.

Fox News, however, reports that information was specifically put into the document in order to force the White House’s hand and play into a narrative of obfuscation.

The Republican memo — compiled by House Intel chairman Devin Nunes and other Republicans on the committee — found that the FBI and the Department of Justice did not disclose the political origins of the Steele dossier in its FISA application on Trump campaign associate Carter Page and revealed previously undisclosed testimony from former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe that an investigation into Page would not have occurred without the dossier.

Democrats complained that releasing the Republican memo would damage national security by revealing FBI sources and methods, though it did no such thing.

Nunes Says Obama State Dept. Passed Trump Dirt ‘to Very Strange Places’

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said Tuesday on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” that former President Barack Obama’s State Department “was gathering information” on Donald Trump, his campaign and Russia in 2016 before “passing it to very strange places.”

Nunes — who is chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence — told host Laura Ingraham the committee’s investigation of allegations of Trump-Russia collusion includes three phases.

The first is the panel’s probe of surveillance abuse against Trump campaign volunteers by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI.
The second phase is a review of “irregularities” at the State Department,
and the third will be interviewing “the cast of characters.”

Phase one culminated with the release of a four-page summary memo, prepared by Nunes’ staff, describing the surveillance abuses. Those abuses were enabled by a dossier prepared by former British spy Christopher Steele and paid for by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign committee.

Nunes said the second phase is now moving forward.

“I can just tell you that the State Department was gathering information and then passing it to very strange places. That should not have happened,” Nunes told Ingraham, noting he could not divulge more information at that time.

“I will just say that there were comments over the weekend from people within the State Department that said [former Secretary of State] John Kerry had been briefed on the [Trump-Russia] dossier, that they had provided the new dossier, whatever this new dossier is, and they had provided it also to the FBI,” Nunes said.

“So, by people starting to talk about it, it seems to me like some people may be trying to distance themselves from the rest of the cast of characters involved,” he added.

Nunes’ comments came after Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) released a highly redacted copy of the criminal referral they sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein recommending the potential prosecution of Steele. Wray made public a less-redacted version of the referral late Tuesday.

“It is a vindication of what we’ve been dealing with for the last five days, where we have been scolded that the dossier really played no part at all in the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA] application. So clearly that’s not the case,” Nunes said of the referral.

Grassley and Graham’s referral revealed that Clinton campaign aides and former Obama appointees fed material to Steele as he compiled the dossier. The anti-Trump dossier was used by the FBI and DOJ to obtain warrants from the FISA court allowing the government to spy on Trump associates.

“Sadly, the mainstream media continues to ignore this. Even tonight I was looking. No one’s covering this,” Nunes said of Grassley and Graham’s referral, noting that “it’s pretty clear now you have the Clinton campaign, who was getting information from the Russians, dirt on Trump.”

Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Joseph diGenova also told Ingraham Tuesday that the Grassley-Graham memo “establishes beyond any doubt that the FBI knowingly deceived the FISA court about the information that it was presenting to them.”

DiGenova accused the FBI and DOJ of lying to the FISA court “about the fact that it was verified information — which it was not, which the law requires.”

“And now we know that additional Clinton allies, including Sidney Blumenthal, were involved in the transmission of false information, unverified information, to the FBI through State Department officials,” diGenova said. “Somebody’s gonna have to go to prison.”

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) implied Tuesday on Fox News’ “The Story” that Blumenthal fed a former State Department employee information used for Steele’s unverified Trump-Russia dossier.

If Clinton lost the election, then the FBI and DOJ sought “to frame Donald Trump and his associates with a false crime,” diGenova claimed.

“There is now no doubt whatsoever that the lawyers at the FBI and the lawyers at the Justice Department deceived, deceived FISA court knowingly,” diGenova said. “They had every reason in the world to believe that the information being provided was not only biased but completely unreliable. They didn’t care.“

The FBI and DOJ “wanted the wiretaps, the intercepts and the electronic surveillance” because it was part of their “plan” to “exonerate” Clinton during the course of the investigation into her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state, diGenova said. If Clinton lost the election, then the FBI and DOJ sought “to frame Donald Trump and his associates with a false crime,” diGenova claimed.

“And they almost succeeded,” diGenova said. “And if she had won, they would have succeeded.”

An important player in multiple high-level investigations which have dominated national headlines is about to go from being relatively unknown to becoming a household name – his name is Michael Horowitz.

Horowitz is the inspector general at the Department of Justice and is heavily involved in the Russia investigation and the investigation into how the FBI handled the criminal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – a report expected to come out in the next couple months.

The Hill reports:

A political appointee in both the Bush and Obama administrations, Horowitz’s yearlong investigation already reportedly contributed to the early resignation of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe. And his work has been felt in other ways.

Horowitz also uncovered a series of text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that led special counsel Robert Mueller to remove Strzok from his team. Those texts have fueled accusations among GOP lawmakers that Mueller’s probe is tainted by partisanship.

Those who know Horowitz portray him as an independent voice.

Bill Hamel, former inspector general for investigations at the Department of Education, heaped praise on Horowitz for his character.

“He is really one of the smartest and fairest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with,” Hamel said. “He’s a straight shooter and a fair guy. He’s an honest broker.”

“They have to be independent to do that job,” Hamel continued. “They can’t be swayed by political issues.”

Dems Lose It as Tweet Suggests Trump Ordered Military Vet Deported… Fail to Realize It Was Actually Obama

A misleading tweet from a reporter had Democrats and liberals on social media up in arms recently after it announced that a military veteran was being deported to Mexico. However, what the tweet left out was that the man had been drummed out of the military for a drug infraction, that he had served a lengthy prison term after giving drugs to an undercover officer — and that the deportation order had been issued under the Obama administration.

In a tweet last week, a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists posted the sad “travesty” of Miguel Perez:

It didn’t take the left long to pounce and take up the Chicago resident’s case.

Even the Democrats on the House Veterans Affairs Committee got in on the Trump-bashing action, arguing that no veteran should ever be deported:

Heartbreaking, until you consider what Mr. Woodman left out. And, according to the Washington Free Beacon, that’s a great deal.

First, Perez was given a general discharge from the Army on a drug infraction. In 2008, after his military service, according to the Chicago Tribune, he “handed a laptop case containing cocaine to an undercover officer” and ended up being sentenced to 15 years in jail.

Perez, 39, was born in Mexico and came to the United States when his father moved the family to Chicago because of a job offer, according to CNN. He is currently on a hunger strike as he faces deportation. He says he mistakenly thought he became a U.S. citizen when he took an oath to defend the United States while in the military. He also contends his military superiors did not help him understand just what he needed to do in order to become a citizen.

After he was released from prison in September 2016, he was placed into the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and ordered deported. This, you may note, happened under the waning months of the Obama administration, which had every opportunity to make sure Perez stayed in the country. It did not.

“Perez’s attorney Chris Bergin said he has filed a stay on two grounds,” the Chicago Tribune reported. “One is based on a medical evaluation finding that Perez needs immediate attention for PTSD and his brain injury. The other seeks retroactive citizenship for Perez to when he joined the military in 2001.”

Perez has previously argued that veterans with combat experience are targeted by drug cartels in Mexico to work for them, although a three-judge panel on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected that argument in late January.

While Perez may have served this country, the fact is that he is being deported for a reason: He is not an American citizen, and he committed a serious crime.

Courts under both the Obama and Trump administrations have upheld his conviction, and if the Democrats had wanted to do anything about it, they certainly had a president who could have done just that. He chose not to, likely for good reason.

To drop this on the Trump administration is the height of deceptiveness. If liberals want to look at who’s really responsible for deciding this, they ought to look at someone else from Chicago: former President Obama.

Indianapolis Colts Player Killed by Twice-Deported Illegal Alien. Activists want officials to make Indiana capital a sanctuary city, as linebacker Edwin Jackson’s death brings Hoosier reaction

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson was struck and killed Sunday morning as he was helping an Uber driver along Interstate 70, by a vehicle driven by a twice-deported illegal alien.

Jackson, 26, had stopped to help Jeffrey Monroe, 54, who had pulled over because of illness.

Jackson and Monroe, of Avon, Indiana, were standing near a stopped vehicle when Manuel Orrego-Savala’s pickup truck drove onto the emergency shoulder and struck and killed them both, according to The Indianapolis Star. Orrego-Savala was arrested and taken to the Marion County jail, where he gave police a false name.

Police and media soon discovered Orrego-Savala was a Guatemalan national who had been deported before. He is being held in a local jail, and a hold has been placed on him so he can be picked up by federal agents.

“Orrego-Savala is in the United States illegally and has previously been deported on two occasions, in 2007 and again in 2009,” said Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine in a statement. “State police investigators are working with U.S. federal immigration officials and they have placed a hold on Orrego-Savala.”

The deaths of Jackson and Monroe are bound to give new attention to some Indiana Democrats’ efforts to make various cities “sanctuaries” from federal immigration laws. Last February, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett stopped short of saying he supports making the Indiana capital a “sanctuary city” that does not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Hogsett agreed in 2017 to work with activist groups and the Indianapolis City-County Council to pass a resolution that Indianapolis will not comply with any law a court has determined to be discriminatory or unconstitutional. But Hogsett declined to name the city a sanctuary from federal immigration laws.

Last December, the city of Gary, Indiana, was sued by conservative attorney James Bopp for declaring itself a “welcoming city“ that may ignore ICE requests to detain illegal aliens in city jails.

Indiana state law forbids sanctuary policies in cities and counties. Gary backed down after Bopp’s lawsuit.

Rep. Todd Rokita (R-Ind.), who represents the Indianapolis suburbs, said he will fight for a federal law to punish local officials who protect illegal aliens.

“The loss of life at the hands of illegal immigrant criminals should make all Hoosiers sad and ultimately angry,” Rokita said in a statement. “We must do more to get these dangerous illegal immigrant criminals off our streets, and guarantee this never happens again by building a wall, ending sanctuary cities, and stopping illegal immigration once and for all.”

In December, Rokita introduced the SLAP ACT (Stopping Lawless Actions of Politicians). The proposed law would establish penalties for sanctuary city politicians who ignore federal immigration enforcement.

Fusion GPS Could Have Been Trying To Buy Access To DOJ With Payments To Official’s Wife

Under a contract from the Clinton campaign, the Fusion GPS research firm was paying the wife of a senior Department of Justice official as part of its efforts to gather opposition research on Trump, and the same official then brought that research to the FBI.

Knowledge of the relationship has raised questions about the extent to which the firm may have paid for heightened access to the criminal justice system, and whether they would have hired Nellie Ohr absent her spousal connection to the DoJ.

A declassified memo said Bruce “Ohr’s wife was employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump. Ohr later provided the FBI with all of his wife’s opposition research, paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign via Fusion GPS. The Ohrs’ relationship with Steele and Fusion GPS was inexplicably concealed from the” court when it was used to obtain a surveillance warrant.

Bruce Ohr was deputy associate attorney general until December. House investigators determined that he met personally with Glenn Simpson, Fusion GPS’ founder.

The FBI has limited resources to deal with a firehose of information, so people seeking the FBI’s attention could potentially benefit from greasing the wheels in order to get info to the front of the queue and to a high level.

“The money sweetened the pot for the Ohrs, and it certainly made it easier for Fusion to get the dossier to be used before the court if they made that payment to Bruce Ohr’s wife,” former judge and Texas GOP Rep. Louie Gohmert told The Daily Caller News Foundation,

“Fusion had to have known that because of the relationship between Bruce Ohr and his wife, they were bringing Fusion, the DOJ and the DNC together under one roof to work for the same goal, which was to stop Donald Trump from becoming president,” he said.

Ohr’s wife, Nellie, is a Russia expert, but it is not known what her specific contribution to the dossier was.

“The financial arrangement between Mrs. Ohr and Fusion GPS gives the appearance of government-for-hire,” said Tom Anderson, an ethics expert at the conservative-leaning watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center. It “appears to be a sophisticated scheme to get access to the highest levels of our government … ensuring the use of government resources in an attempt to influence an election.”

Parties seeking to hide ethically questionable payments often write the checks to a family member. Since spouses generally share assets, payments to one benefit the other, and paying the spouse can make the payments less obvious or harder to trace.

Cabot Phillips from Campus Reform spoke to several students outside John Jay College in New York and asked them to comment on some of the statements from the SOTU speech. What Phillips didn’t tell them is that the statements actually quoted Obama.

And then, when some of them realized what had happened, they backpedaled.

My favorite is the girl with the fur-trimmed hood and red scarf that went from ‘we need to mind our own business because there are other countries with automatic and nuclear weapons‘ to, ‘some people are quick to judge Donald Trump just because of a few things he says, but I think if they paid attention to his whole Presidency they’d have a better perspective on him‘.

But that’s not her, right — it’s ‘some’ people?

Riiiiight.

And then there’s the guy at the end that is reasonable. President Trump managed to get through to the American people that were really listening to him when he delivered the State of the Union Address.

The response was overwhelmingly positive.

And despite the character assassination that has been ongoing for almost two years by the Media (D), his numbers are getting a bump.

Could it be because he’s not the boogeyman that they portray him to be?

Could it be because he is implementing good policies that are benefiting Americans?

Could it be because the Democrats doubled-down on identity politics and refused to stand for things that they say that they champion?

Could it be because Democrats have learned absolutely nothing after the last election and shoved privileged, trust-funded ‘Kennedy Dynasty’ Rep. Joe Kennedy III to deliver the counter to the President’s SOTU speech?

It looks like the antidote to ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ is a healthy dose of #MAGA.

It’s Clear as Day: Dems Hatred for Trump Controls Every Action

The Left has been crying and whining since the election. They called good Americans “Deplorables.” They staged a sit in to protest gun violence, and simply looked like a bunch of petulant children in dire need of a whoopin’.

Maxine Waters screams incessantly (and usually on MSNBC, that wholly ‘impartial and objective’ channel…not) “Impeach him!”

Many of the Dems boycotted the inauguration in January 2017.

And these Dems boycotted President Trump’s first State of the Union:

The Democrats that actually attended sat there grimacing and pouting, once again looking like petulant, spoiled brats. The Congressional Black Caucus attempted to “resist” by wearing “kente cloth” in protest to Trump’s s-hole countries comment. For the most part, the Dems sat on their hands rather than applaud the low African American unemployment, low Hispanic unemployment, and high rate of economic growth in America.

What The Left is broadcasting loud and clear is a hatred of Trump that supersedes any other emotion or motive — including love for America and Americans.

California Presumes Homeschooling Parents Are Child Abusers, Seeks Invasive New Restrictions

As California lawmakers continue their track-record of controversial decisions, one announcement in particular has caused an outcry for its overreaching presumption: that all homeschoolers must also be child abusers.

According to The Washington Examiner, the plan set out by lawmakers would be to force parents into proving to the government that they are, in fact, fit to be a parent. The homeschooling parent — per legal requirement — would have to meet the government’s required checklist via home visits, interviews, and other oversights, effectively increasing the burden on the parent to prove themselves parentally fit.

And many have expressed concern over stripping away the legally protected option of homeschooling and deeming it as absurdly unconstitutional.

The decision seems to be in light of the horrifying case of David and Louise Turpin who were registered as homeschoolers to the 13 children that authorities found chained, malnourished and abused. Setting logic aside, lawmakers have set their emotions to focus on the sole aspect of the couple being homeschooling parents, rather than the fact that there were psychological issues at play long before the couple even conceived.

It’s an extreme example to try and bolster the controversial plan to increase government regulations when it comes to children and their education, yet data about the benefits of homeschooling may work against them. A recent piece by Chris Weller for Business Insider gives five strong reasons why kids in today’s world of technology, online classes and apps might actually be better-off than their publicly educated peers.

“Homeschooled kids have the same access to online learning, friendships, and extracurricular activities as the typical public school student,” Weller summarizes. “But without many of the drawbacks, like standardized lesson plans and bullying.”

Furthermore, there is little to no data that proves — or suggests — that homeschooled kids are abused by their parents or even at greater risk of being a victim of parental abuse, yet standardized lesson plans have routinely been called out by parents nationwide.

Lawmakers continue to use extreme cases like the Turpins and veiled data to prove their point, pushing out an agenda that criminalizes homeschooling — just one agenda among many which American citizens seem to be blind to.

“I’m routinely astounded by the degree to which Americans will be outraged by government abuses that take place in far-off lands, while remaining uninterested in similar abuses right here in their very midst,” wrote senior editorial writer Steven Greenhut for Foundation for Economic Education.

Greenhut’s article was one of many that chronicled the outrageous attempt at the liberal state to strip away fundamental basic rights, including that of every parent: to educate their own child as they see fit. Though there are current laws that protect those parents, Greenhut cautioned America to take a closer look at just how far lawmakers will go to invade the privacy of a household, likening it to totalitarian countries where “anything not expressly allowed is forbidden.”

“Only someone with an ideological axe to grind could find illegality in the practice of homeschooling.”
