WATCH: CONGRESSMAN SAYS OFFICIALS NEED MORE ‘BODY BAGS’ THANKS TO BIDEN

There is no doubt that what is happening with the current administration at the southern US border is inhuman but you may be shocked to know that it’s proving to be insanely fatal for border crossers. Biden’s open border policies has created a sick situation both in and outside of the detention centers that further driven this crisis into a cruel and disgusting rhelm.

Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales made a shocking claim on ‘Wake Up America’, saying that the supplies he gets asked for the most from judges in his district are body bags:

“My [county] judges are asking for one thing in particular,” Gonzales said. “I sit in front of them and I go, ‘If I can do one thing for you, what would that be?’ And this is the ask I’m getting. They go, ‘Tony, we need more body bags.’ And I’m going, ‘Body bags? Why do you need body bags?’ They go, ‘Migrants are dying at record numbers, and we don’t have body bags to handle the situation.’

“That’s what is happening on the ground,” Gonzales added.

The migration crisis along the southwestern border shows little sign of slowing down. On Wednesday, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that they had stopped more than 180,000 illegal immigrants attempting to cross the frontier last month, the most in a single month since April of 2000. May also marked the third consecutive month of more than 170,000 apprehensions by CBP, the first time that has happened since January-April 2000.

NYP reported that historical trends indicate the number of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border will slowly decrease in the summer months, officials are warning that more who do attempt the crossing will not make it.

“Typically our busiest months are July and August,” Stern said. “We’re not even there yet.”

All or part of six of the counties in Stern’s jurisdiction lie within Gonzales’ district, which stretches over 29 counties from Western San Antonio to the outskirts of El Paso and covers more than 800 miles of the border. When asked how he felt about vice president Harris’s lack of effort, Gonzalez called her ‘disrespectful’. The tone-deaf politician has repeatedly ignored the pleas from the residents in border states.

“It’s disrespectful to districts like mine, it’s disrespectful to the people that live and work along the border that are having to deal with this crisis every single day …,” he said. “No member of Congress has been on the border more than I have. I’ve hosted 25 members, and I’ve never gotten any word from the vice president, or anyone from the administration, that wants to take any interest in what is happening.”

Watch

Gonzales told viewers that the administration “has no interest in solving this border crisis” and added that Congress needs to get off their butts and do their jobs again:

“Congress needs to lead again,” he said. “Congress needs to come together and find a way to solve this issue, because folks are tired of it. It’s unfair to everybody. It’s unfair to the law enforcement … it’s unfair to the citizens that are seeing these record number of migrants, and it’s unfair to the migrants. You know, these migrants are making very dangerous treks, and here’s the thing: The temperature is getting hotter, so it’s only gonna be more dangerous.”

President Joe Biden issued a presidential proclamation in recognition of LGBT Pride Month, touting the large number of LGBT individuals who serve in his administration and slamming state laws that prohibit biological males from competing in girls’ sports.

The proclamation, issued Tuesday, calls on Americans to “recognize the valuable contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals across America” and “reaffirm our commitment to standing in solidarity with LGBTQ+ Americans in their ongoing struggle against discrimination and injustice” throughout June, which he declared as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Pride Month. He reported that “Nearly 14 percent of my 1,500 agency appointees identify as LGBTQ+.”

The president specifically highlighted Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as “the first openly LGBTQ+ person to serve in the cabinet” and Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine as “the first openly transgender person to be confirmed by the Senate.”

While Buttigieg is the first openly gay cabinet member confirmed by the Senate, Richard Grenell, who briefly served as the acting director of National Intelligence during the final year of the Trump administration, was the first openly gay person to serve in a presidential cabinet, although he was never confirmed by the Senate for that position.

Biden lamented that “for all of our progress, there are still many states in which LGBTQ+ individuals lack protections for fundamental rights and dignity in hospitals, schools, public accommodations, and other spaces.” He specifically expressed concern that “some states have chosen to actively target transgender youth through discriminatory bills that defy our Nation’s values of inclusivity and freedom for all.”

While the president did not elaborate on the contents of the aforementioned “discriminatory bills,” he was likely talking about the efforts of states to require student-athletes to compete on sports teams that correspond to their birth sex as opposed to their chosen gender identity. Florida became the most recent state to enact such a law earlier this week, joining Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, Tennessee and West Virginia.

“My administration is taking historic actions to finally deliver full equality for LGBTQ+ families,” he added. “On my first day in office, I signed an Executive Order charging federal agencies to fully enforce all federal laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation. As a result, the federal government has taken steps to prevent discrimination against LGBTQ+ people in employment, health care, housing, lending, and education.”

After mentioning his executive order allowing transgenders to serve openly in the U.S. military, Biden asserted that “LGBTQ+ rights are human rights, which is why my administration has reaffirmed America’s commitment to supporting those on the front lines of the equality and democracy movements around the world, often at great risk.” According to the president, “We see you, we support you, and we are inspired by your courage to accept nothing less than full equality.”

Additionally, Biden vowed that “I will not rest until full equality for LGBTQ+ Americans is finally achieved and codified into law.” He urged Congress to pass the Equality Act, a wide-reaching legislative package that Democrats argue is necessary to enshrine nondiscrimination protections against the LGBT community into federal law.

Critics of the legislation argue that the Equality Act’s prohibition against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity will require schools to allow boys who identify as females to compete in women’s sports despite the inherent physiological advantage males enjoy over females in athletics. The U.S. House of Representatives has already passed the Equality Act, but opposition from both Democrats and Republicans has prevented it from passing in the Senate.

“During LGBTQ+ Pride Month, we recognize the resilience and determination of the many individuals who are fighting to live freely and authentically,” he concluded. “In doing so, they are opening hearts and minds, and laying the foundation for a more just and equitable America. This Pride Month, we affirm our obligation to uphold the dignity of all people, and to dedicate ourselves to protecting the most vulnerable among us.”

Biden also asked the American people to “recognize the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community, to celebrate the great diversity of the American people, and to wave their flags of pride high.” In recognition of Pride Month, the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican is flying the rainbow flag despite the Catholic Church’s opposition to same-sex marriage.

In response to criticism over the government’s endorsement of a political movement, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., has introduced the Stars and Stripes Act, which would limit the flags that can be flown at diplomatic or consular posts to the American flag, the flag of the country where the post is located, the flag of a particular state or territory in the U.S., a “departmental or secretarial flag,” the flag of an Armed Force, or “a flag designed to honor persons who are classified as prisoners of war or missing-in-action.”

In addition to outlining his administration’s vision on LGBT issues, Biden’s presidential proclamation highlights the history of LGBT activism in the United States, from the Stonewall riots of 1969 that he argued “sparked a liberation movement” to the legalization of same-sex marriage in 2015.

124 retired generals and admirals say US in ‘deep peril’ under Biden, warn of his ‘mental’ condition

Reported by NEWSBRECK DUMAS | May 12, 2021

Read more at https://www.theblaze.com/news/124-retired-generals-and-admirals-say-us-in-deep-peril-under-biden-warn-of-his-mental-condition/

More than 120 retired generals and admirals have signed a letter saying that the U.S. is in “deep peril” under the leadership of President Joe Biden, specifically warning that the mental condition of the nation’s oldest commander in chief “cannot be ignored.” The letter was released by Flag Officers 4 America, and was signed by 124 retired “military officers entitled to carry a flag indicating their rank,” The Daily Caller noted.

It begins, “Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”

The retired military leaders went on to say that “without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” saying that “aside from the election, the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed.”

At the end of a long list of bullet points citing “additional national security issues and actions,” Flag Officers 4 America wrote:

“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.”

The officials ended the letter with a call for action, urging “all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable,” concluding, “The ‘will of the people’ must be heard and followed.”

Biden, 78, is the oldest American president to ever be elected, and he faced questions from opponents during both the Democratic primary and the general election over his mental fitness for office. A White House spokesperson told People magazine on Wednesday that Biden “is planning to have a checkup later this year, and the results will be made public.” The outlet noted that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters last week that the administration “will be transparent” to reporters about the results of Biden’s first physical when it happens. People further reported that “Biden similarly promised during the 2020 campaign to be ‘totally transparent in terms of my health.'”

Biden talks Equality Act, American Families Plan, white supremacist threat in Congress speech

In his first speech before a joint session of U.S. Congress Wednesday night, President Joe Biden urged the legislative branch to support his progressive agenda, unveiled his American Families Plan and warned of the threat posed by white supremacy.

Biden addressed the 117th Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives chamber one day before his 100th day in office. While Biden spent his speech attempting to portray his proposals as popular among Americans of all political persuasions, the president also made overtures to the progressive base of the Democratic Party.

He specifically expressed a desire to see federal lawmakers send the Equality Act to his desk, which he described as a bill “to protect LGBT Americans.” Biden delivered a specific message to the transgender community, one of the intended beneficiaries of the legislation that would codify discrimination protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity into federal law.

“All transgender Americans watching at home, especially young people, who are so brave, I want you to know your president has your back,” the 78-year-old declared.

The Equality Act has already passed the House but has stalled in the Senate. Championed by Democrats, the Equality Act has come under frequent criticism by conservatives, who have expressed concerns about its implications for religious liberty and women’s sports.

Throughout his speech, Biden discussed a wide variety of topics, including the coronavirus stimulus package, the progress in distributing the coronavirus vaccine, efforts to fight climate change and foreign policy. The president promoted the American Jobs Plan, his infrastructure plan, in addition to unveiling his American Families Plan.

American Families Plan

The plan seeks to expand access to education, reduce the cost of child care and support women in the workforce while providing upwards of $1.8 trillion “in investments and tax credits for American families and children over ten years,” according to the White House. The plan will be financed by raising taxes on high earners.

Discussing the need to compete with other countries, specifically China, Biden stressed that the United States needs to “make a once-in-a-generation investment in our families and our children.” According to Biden, the American Families Plan addresses “four of the biggest challenges facing American families and in turn America.”

Biden identified the lack of “access to a good education” as one of the biggest challenges facing American families. Arguing that 12 years of free public education was no longer sufficient as the U.S. seeks to compete on the world stage, he explained that the American Families Plan “guarantees four additional years of public education for every person in America.”

“The great universities in this country have conducted studies over the last 10 years that shows that adding two years of universal, high-quality preschool for every 3-year-old and 4-year-old no matter what background they come from puts them in a position to be able to compete all the way through 12 years,” he said. “It increases exponentially their prospect of graduating and going on beyond graduation.”

“The research shows when a young child goes to school — not daycare — they’re far more likely to graduate from high school and go to college or something after high school,” he added. “When you add two years of free community college on top of that, you begin to change the dynamic.”

Additionally, Biden explained, the American Families Plan will “increase Pell Grants and invest in historically black college[s] and universities, tribal colleges [and] minority-serving institutions.”

“The American Families Plan will provide access to quality affordable child care,” he announced. It would “guarantee that low and middle-income families will pay no more than 7% of their income for high-quality care for children up to the age of five” while “the most hard-pressed working families won’t have to spend a dime.”

He said the plan would provide up to 12 weeks of paid leave and family and medical leave. He lamented that the U.S. is “one of the few industrial countries in the world” without such a policy.

“No one should have to choose between a job and a paycheck for taking care of themselves and their loved ones or parent or spouse or child,” the president said.

The former senator from Delaware maintained that extending a $3,000 child care tax credit for children over the age of 6 and a $3,600 child care tax credit for children younger than 6 years old through 2025 “will help more than 65 million children and help cut child care poverty in half.”

The president vowed that to pay for his proposals, he would “not impose any tax increase on people making less than $400,000.” Instead, the cost would fall on “corporate America and the wealthiest 1% of Americans,” whom he argued needed to “pay their fair share.” He proposed increasing the top income tax rate to 39.6% and getting rid of “the loopholes that allow Americans to make more than $1 million a year and pay a lower tax rate on their capital gains than Americans who receive a paycheck.”

As he addressed foreign policy, Biden warned that “terrorism has metastasized” to the point where “the threat has evolved way beyond Afghanistan.” He vowed that “it’s time to bring our troops home.”

Racism and policing

While stating that Al Qaeda and ISIS are still in the Middle East and Africa, he cited the intelligence agencies’ analysis when characterizing “white supremacy” as “the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today.”

“We have to come together to heal the soul of this nation,” Biden stressed as he pivoted to discussing the death of George Floyd and race in America. “We’ve all seen the knee of injustice on the neck of black Americans. Now’s our opportunity to make some real progress.”

“The vast majority of men and women wearing a uniform and a badge serve our communities, and they serve them honorably,” he continued. “We have to come together to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the people they serve to root out systemic racism in our criminal justice system and to enact police reform in George Floyd’s name that passed the House already.”

While he praised Republicans for having “very productive discussions with Democrats in the Senate,” Biden reiterated the need to “work together to find a consensus,” urging Congress to pass criminal justice reform by May 25, the first anniversary of Floyd’s death.

Immigration

Describing immigration as “essential to America,” the president asked Congress to support a “comprehensive immigration bill” that includes a pathway to citizenship for “11 million undocumented folks” as well as “high tech border security.”

He specifically highlighted “protection for Dreamers,” illegal immigrants brought to the country as children. He called for “permanent protection for immigrants who are here on temporary protective status” and a “pathway to citizenship for farmworkers who put food on our tables” as the most important immigration-related priorities that Congress must address.

H.R. 1

In addition, Biden asked Congress to pass H.R. 1, also known as the For the People Act.

Democrats, including Biden, have portrayed the bill as necessary to “expand Americans’ access to the ballot box.” But conservatives allege that H.R. 1, which they characterize as a “federal takeover of the administration of elections,” will “make it easier to cheat and make it easier to manipulate election results” because it loosens voter ID requirements and signature verification requirements for mail-in ballots.

As his speech concluded, Biden declared, “I have never been more confident or optimistic about America” because “we’ve stared into the abyss of insurrection and autocracy, pandemic and pain and we the people did not flinch.”

While it is not customary for newly elected presidents to give State of the Union addresses, they have given speeches to joint sessions Congress soon after assuming office. The audience in the Hosue chamber did not include most of the 535 members of Congress as is customary for State of the Union addresses or similar addresses given by presidents shortly after taking office. To maintain social distancing as the U.S. continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, only a handful of members of Congress were physically present in the chamber.

‘Gun Violence is an International Embarrassment’ – Biden Trashes America as He Announces Executive Actions on Gun Control (VIDEO)

Joe Biden on Thursday delivered remarks on ‘gun violence’ in America and announced his ‘initial’ executive actions on gun control. Biden used this as an opportunity to trash America and attack the Second Amendment.

“Nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment… No amendment to the Constitution is absolute. You can’t yell ‘fire in a crowded movie theater and call it freedom of speech. From the beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own,” he said.

No, Joe, you’re the international embarrassment.

WATCH:

Biden’s six executive actions include:

  • The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”
  • The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.
  • The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states: Red flag laws allow family members or law enforcement to petition for a court order temporarily barring people in crisis from accessing firearms if they present a danger to themselves or others.
  • The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions.
  • The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking.
  • The President will nominate David Chipman to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

This is just the beginning of Joe Biden’s war on the Second Amendment.

Biden’s judicial nominees prove ‘liberal dark money groups’ control his administration: legal expert

A former law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas has alleged that President Joe Biden’s newly released list of judicial nominees proves that he’s letting “liberal dark money groups” control his administration.

Carrie Severino, president of the think-tank Judicial Crisis Network, which advocates for the appointment of originalist U.S. Supreme Court justices, expressed concern about Biden’s first list of judicial nominees. The nominees on the list, released Tuesday, would fill 11 vacancies on the federal courts. Severino wrote about Judge Katenji Brown Jackson, Biden’s pick to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, in an op-ed for National Review.

“Jackson has been on the Supreme Court shortlist of Demand Justice, to which prospects do not make the cut unless they are far to the left,” she said. Others on the liberal group’s shortlist include employees of the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, as well as a visiting professor of social justice at Union Theological Seminary and a former Planned Parenthood attorney.

Judicial Crisis Network chief counsel, Carrie Severino, speaks at a Heritage Foundation panel discussion in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2015. | The Christian Post /Samuel Smith

Severino noted that prior to becoming a federal judge, Jackson “represented indigent criminal appellants before the D.C. Circuit” and submitted “amicus briefs on behalf of accused enemy combatants in military detention.” In a Twitter thread Tuesday, Severino explained that the context in which the judicial nominations are occurring should concern conservatives: “As Politico playbook noted this morning, President Biden has been working overtime to appease the far left, and we can expect his judges to rubber-stamp their extreme radical agenda.”

“One of these appeasement tactics is paying back the liberal dark-money groups that spent hundreds of millions of dollars to elect him and Senate Democrats. This includes myriad dark money groups propped up by the vast Arabella Advisors Network,” she continued. Severino mentioned in her op-ed that Demand Justice, which has included Jackson on their list of favored Supreme Court candidates, is part of the Arabella Advisors Network.

Severino elaborated on the implications of dark money groups’ support for Biden’s nominees in an interview with The Christian Post: “I think what … we can see are the groups that are very happy with these nominees, which again is the same laundry list of the … dark money organizations … we know that they are very satisfied by that list of nominees and I think that’s … enough to raise my concern.”

According to Severino, the list of judicial nominees is the latest example of how Biden’s “priorities and agenda are largely dictated at this point by the liberal dark money forces that helped put him in office, and we’re seeing that play out in the administration appointments, and now we’re seeing that play out in the judicial appointments as well.” In addition to Demand Justice, Severino cited the Alliance for JusticePeople for the American Way, and the American Constitution Society as examples of liberal “dark money groups.”

“We have seen those groups on the left insisting on some of the most radical positions … on both abortion, on religious freedom, etc. And the fact that they are all very happy with these nominees tells you all you need to know about their positions on those cases. Because when … these groups talk about judges and the importance of nominating judges, they don’t talk about … the importance of their judicial philosophy, for example, they talk about (judges) in terms of the policy goals that those judges are going to help them achieve,” she added.

“And so, if you wonder how … they’re going to be deciding cases, it is pretty clear … because of the support they’re getting from groups who do view judges just as a means to achieve policy ends, they obviously consider them completely reliable to deliver those policy goals.” A Message from

As Severino told CP, a lot of Biden’s judicial picks “aren’t even judges yet,” making it difficult to determine “what their judicial philosophy would be.”

Biden’s nominees include attorneys working in the private sector: Tiffany Cunningham, the president’s nominee to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Candace Jackson-Akiwumi, his nominee to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Margaret Strickland, who he nominated to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.

One of Biden’s picks to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Julien Neals, works as a county counsel in Bergen County. Biden also nominated Judges Deborah Boardman and Lydia Griggsby to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Judge Zahid Quraishi to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, as well as Judges Florence Pan and Rupa Ranga Puttagunta to serve on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

For his part, Biden seemed enthusiastic about his candidates, whom he described as trailblazing and “the very best and brightest minds of the American legal profession.” He maintained that “Each is deeply qualified and prepared to deliver justice faithfully under our Constitution and impartially to the American people — and together they represent the broad diversity of background, experience, and perspective that makes our nation strong.”

The White House announcement about Biden’s nominees touted the groundbreaking racial diversity of the picks, which include: “three African American women chosen for Circuit Court vacancies, as well as candidates who, if confirmed, would be the first Muslim American federal judge in U.S. history, the first (Asian American Pacific Islander) woman to ever serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of D.C., and the first woman of color to ever serve as a federal judge for the District of Maryland.”

While the list of judicial nominees provides information about the candidates’ experience and education, it doesn’t include information about their philosophies and past rulings, if applicable.

Overall, liberal groups, including Demand Justice, have praised Biden’s list of judicial nominees. In a statement, Demand Justice Executive Director Brian Fallon highlighted the “public defenders and civil rights lawyers in this group” as “exactly the kind of judges we need to rebalance our courts.” However, he also took a veiled swipe at the nomination of corporate attorney Regina Rodriguez, who the president has nominated to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Subtly referring to the recommendation by Colorado’s two Democratic senators that Rodriguez serve on the bench, which Demand Justice criticized, Fallon lamented that “old habits die hard for some senators who are used to recommending corporate lawyers and prosecutors for federal judgeships.” Fallon expressed a preference for public defenders and civil rights lawyers, whom he described as “underrepresented professional backgrounds.”

Current Senate rules allow judicial nominees to be confirmed with a simple majority, as opposed to the 60 votes required to pass most legislation. With a 50-50 split in the Senate and Vice President Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote for the Democrats, Biden should be able to get all of his candidates confirmed without Republican support if all Democrats vote in favor of them.

Severino acknowledged that opponents of Biden’s judicial nominees will have a difficult time blocking their confirmations, but she contended that a Senate Democrat representing a very red state, Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and another Senate Democrat representing a purple state, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, could be open to persuasion.

“Are they going to stand with the citizens of their states, the … many Americans who don’t want the courts turned into politics by other means, or are they going to go along with the demands of the Democratic Party and … just toe the line?” she asked.

Biden administration working with companies to develop ‘vaccine passports’ to track vaccinated Americans

The Biden administration has partnered with companies to develop a “vaccine passport,” which would track Americans who have been vaccinated for COVID-19, and give them access to businesses, events, and travel.

“The Biden administration and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as ‘vaccine passports’ — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen,” the Washington Post reported on Sunday.

“The effort has gained momentum amid President Joe Biden’s pledge that the nation will start to regain normalcy this summer and with a growing number of companies — from cruise lines to sports teams – saying they will require proof of vaccination before opening their doors again,” the report stated.

“The administration’s initiative has been driven largely by arms of the Department of Health and Human Services, including an office devoted to health information technology, said five officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the effort,” the report claimed.

The report revealed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will assist with the vaccine passport rollout. The Washington Post claimed the CDC is already working with the World Health Organization in developing “digital vaccination certificates.”

Earlier this month, New York launched its coronavirus vaccine passport program called the “Excelsior Pass,” which was developed by IBM. As TheBlaze reported, the Excelsior Pass would allow New Yorkers to show an electronic passport on their phone in the form of a unique QR code that is scanned by businesses to confirm COVID-19 vaccinations or recent negative COVID tests before they will be permitted to enter theaters, stadiums, or other businesses. The Excelsior Pass was first tested during a Brooklyn Nets game at the Barclays Center.

Since at least November of last year, the airline industry has been exploring the implementation of a “digital passport” that would contain health information of travelers, including if they were vaccinated for coronavirus or not. The proposed health passport would “manage and verify the secure flow of necessary testing or vaccine information among governments, airlines, laboratories and travelers,” the International Air Transport Association said.

Several international organizations and large businesses, including the World Economic Forum, have begun “developing smartphone apps or systems for individuals to upload details of their COVID-19 tests and vaccinations, creating digital credentials that could be shown in order to enter concert venues, stadiums, movie theaters, offices, or even countries,” according to a CNN report from December.

A recent Pew Research survey found that 30% of Americans “probably” or “definitely” don’t plan on getting a coronavirus vaccine.

“If it became a government mandate, it would go down a dark road very quickly,” warned Brian Castrucci, who leads the Bethesda, Md.-based de Beaumont Foundation. “It becomes a credential. It becomes a ‘needing your papers,’ if you will. That could be dangerous — and it could turn off people.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) blasted the idea of vaccine passports.

“I just want to make very clear in Florida, we are not doing any vaccine passports,” DeSantis said earlier this month. “All those experts said that it was a bad idea. I think it’s a bad idea, and so that will not happen. And so folks should get vaccinated, if they want to, we’ll obviously provide that, but under no circumstances will the state be asking you to show proof of vaccination, and I don’t think private companies should be doing that either.”

Biden used ‘cheat sheet’ during first press conference; Fox News host Chris Wallace knocks president for ‘reading talking points’

After 65 days in office to prepare for his first press conference, President Joe Biden relied heavily on notes for certain questions from the media. The 78-year-old Democratic president also had a cheat sheet with photos of White House reporters, which he seemingly used to determine which reporters he would call on during Thursday’s news conference.

The cheat sheet in question had the faces and names of White House reporters, as well as what news outlets they represented. The guide was organized to show where the reporters were sitting during the press conference. The reporters had numbers next to their faces, which many speculate apply to which reporters Biden was instructed to take questions from and in what order to take them.

On March 16, Newsmax host Greg Kelly revealed that the White House press office asked that reporters submit their questions for Biden’s first press conference. According to Kelly, White House press secretary Jen Psaki “will get back to you about whether or not your was approved.”

Philip Melanchthon, White House reporter for Real Clear News, said, “Biden appears to be calling on reporters from a prepared list.”

Of the 25 reporters in attendance, Biden called on reporters from the Associated Press, PBS, Washington Post, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, CNN, Bloomberg News, and Univision. PBS White House reporter Yamiche Alcindor was criticized heavily for her softball question prefaced with the sentiment that the border crisis may have been created because Biden has the perception of being a “moral, decent man.”

Biden did not take a question from Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy or any conservative-leaning outlet. Doocy said he had a “binder full of questions” for President Biden, including how he plans to transform the economy to be more green and where COVID-19 originated from.

Biden was asked about North Korea testing ballistic missiles, and he appeared to read a prepared response word for word.

Fox News host Chris Wallace said he was “struck” that when asked questions about foreign policy, Biden “went to his briefing book like Jen Psaki does sometimes in the briefings and was reading obviously White House guidance, White House talking points.”

“Covering Ronald Reagan for six years, I never saw that,” Wallace said. “Watching a lot of news conferences over the years, I’ve never seen that — a president in a news conference reading talking points. He did that on, it seemed, every foreign policy question.”

Joe Biden Kicks Off “Help is Here” Tour With 3-Minute Pennsylvania Stop – Reads From Notecards, Shoos Away Reporters (VIDEO)

Reported By Cristina Laila | Published March 16, 2021

Joe Biden kicked off his ridiculous “Help is Here” tour on Tuesday with a 3-minute stop in Chester, Pennsylvania. Biden arrived in Chester on Tuesday to virtually zero fanfare (mostly media). Chester, PA is about a 20-minute drive from Biden’s home in Wilmington and he still couldn’t draw a crowd.

WATCH:

Biden mumbled for a few minutes with his mask on his chin while reading his notecards and barely mentioned the Covid relief bill.

“More help is on the way, for real. Do you have questions for me at all?” Biden asked the owners of Smith Flooring Inc.

The co-owner said “we don’t have any questions but we wanted to say thank you” and remarked that “not many people come out and stop here in Chester.”

After Biden’s 3-minute garbled speech, reporters were escorted away.

Daniel Horowitz Op-ed: Horowitz: Oklahoma House votes to enable legislature to block Biden’s executive orders

James Madison once asserted that “in a republican government, the legislative authority necessarily predominates.” Well, today, only executive power predominates, because federal and state executive agencies seem to be the only ones doing the legislating. As Joe Biden continues to pass sweeping “laws” unilaterally with no authority from Congress, the red states are the only even potential check on his abuse of power. It appears that the state of Oklahoma has now taken up the mantle as the second state to move to block these executive orders.

On Thursday, the Oklahoma House overwhelmingly passed a bill, HB 1236, that would grant the state’s attorney general and state legislature the authority to review the president’s executive orders to determine constitutionality. Specifically, the bill would authorize the legislature to recommend that the attorney general review any executive order, federal agency rule, or federal congressional action to determine whether the state should seek an exemption or declare it unconstitutional. If either the attorney general or the legislature, by concurrent resolution, declares the act unconstitutional, then all state and local officials and any publicly funded organization are prohibited from enforcing it.

The federal actions covered under this bill include any orders pertaining to health emergencies; the regulation of natural resources, agriculture, and land use; infringements upon the Second Amendment; the regulation of the financial sector as it relates to environmental, social, or governance standards, the regulation of education; the regulation of college or school sports; or any other powers reserved by the State of Oklahoma or the people of Oklahoma.

This bill is probably the single most direct and effective way of countering federal power-grabs. As written, it would potentially pave the way for the legislature to block Biden’s mask mandate, transgender agenda in school sports, and racially biased orders in finance and commerce, just to name a few.

Oklahoma’s House is now the second chamber to pass a state sovereignty bill against federal overreach. The North Dakota House passed a similar bill, HB 1282, earlier this month. However, that bill passed by a narrow margin, 51-43, with nearly 30 Republicans voting against it. The Oklahoma bill, on the other hand, was introduced by the speaker himself, Rep. Charles McCall, and passed 79-18 along party lines, which means it has a good chance of going to the governor’s desk.

A few minutes after passage of HB 1236, Rep. Jay Steagall introduced HR 1005, a resolution expressing the right of a state to defend the Constitution and intervene on behalf of the liberties of its citizens.

“Oklahoma hereby asserts sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers,” states the text of the resolution, which passed 80-14. “THAT this resolution shall serve notice to the federal government of our intent to maintain the balance of powers where the Constitution of the United States established it. THAT we intend to ensure that all federal government agencies and their agents and employees operating within the geographic boundaries of Oklahoma, or whose actions have an effect on the inhabitants, lands or waters of Oklahoma, shall operate within the confines of the original intent of the Constitution of the United States.”

In introducing the bill, Rep. Steagall, who is the chairman of the States Rights Committee, stated plainly the intent of the legislative effort this week. “I submit to you that it is the duty of the state to interpose between the central government’s abuse of power and the people in order to secure the authorities, rights, and liberties of the people, and that duty falls squarely on the shoulders of the state legislature.”

While so many conservatives are focused on Congress, many fail to see that the states are where the power resides. Republicans control both houses in 31 state legislatures, the majority of them with supermajorities. If every chamber were to mimic this legislation, there would be large swaths of the country free from the totalitarian edicts of the left, regardless of what happens in Washington.

Biden Takes ‘Death to America’ Terrorists Off Terror List, Replaces Them With Republicans

Reported by Daniel Greenfield |

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

The Biden administration responded to protests against its stolen election by embedding a domestic extremism office into the National Security Council. The man in charge of making it happen, Joshua Geltzer, had previously denied that Black Lives Matter was a terrorist threat and had attacked the Trump administration’s response to Antifa and BLM violence in Portland. That means that the only domestic extremists the NSC will be fighting are Republicans.

Even while the Biden administration is preparing to double down on Obama’s abuse of the national security state to target his political opponents, it’s also giving real terrorists a pass. Joe Biden, whose biggest bundlers included the Iran Lobby, announced he was ending support for American allies fighting the Houthis, and then went even further by preparing to remove the terrorist organization whose motto is, “Death to America”, which took American hostages and tried to kill American sailors, from the list of designated foreign terrorist organizations.

The motto of Iran’s Houthi Jihadis is, “Allahu Akbar, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse the Jews, Victory to Islam.” The Houthis took over parts of Yemen as a result of the chaos unleashed by Obama’s pro-Islamist Arab Spring. Since then they’ve been engaged in a protracted war while causing a local famine by confiscating food from the local population.

Last year, the Trump administration had finally secured the release of three American hostages, Sandra Loli, an American aid worker who had been held for 3 years, another American who had been held for a year, and the body of a third American, in exchange for 240 Houthis, including three dozen Islamic terrorists who had been trained in the use of missiles and drones by Iran. Like those launched at the USS Mason.

The Houthis lived up to their “Death to America” slogan by repeatedly launching cruise missiles at the USS Mason which had been protecting shipping in the area. And they lived up to the second half of their slogan by ethnically cleansing the remaining local Jewish population, locking them up, and confiscating their homes and land. Local reports stated that the Houthis were “cutting off water & electricity to Jewish homes and preventing Jews from purchasing food.”

“No Jew would be allowed to stay here,” one of the Jewish refugees said.

The Iran-backed Islamic terrorists fight using 18,000 child soldiers. The soldiers, many abducted, some as young as 10, are taught to hate America and to kill enemies of Iran. None of this stopped Biden’s State Department from taking the Houthis off the terror list.

“Secretary Blinken has been clear about undertaking an expeditious review of the designations of Ansarallah,” the State Department claimed. “After a comprehensive review, we can confirm that the Secretary intends to revoke the Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist designations of Ansarallah.”

‘Ansarallah’ or ‘Defenders of Allah’ is what the Houthis call themselves. Blinken had only been confirmed on Tuesday. By next Friday, he had already somehow completed the “comprehensive review”, amid all the other minor business like China, Russia, and a global pandemic, and decided that the Islamic terrorists whose motto is “Death to America” aren’t really terrorists.

How can the Biden administration deny that Islamic Jihadis backed by Iran who attacked Americans are terrorists? The State Department claimed that this, “has nothing to do with our view of the Houthis and their reprehensible conduct, including attacks against civilians and the kidnapping of American citizens.” Not to mention the attacks on the USS Mason. But the Biden administration isn’t even going to pretend to care about attacks on our military.

The Bidenites are claiming that they’re taking the Houthis, whom they don’t deny are terrorists, off the list of designated terrorist groups because of the “humanitarian consequences”. That’s a lie, no matter how often you hear it in the media, because Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the United States would be providing licenses to “humanitarian activities conducted by non-governmental organizations in Yemen and to certain transactions and activities related to exports to Yemen of critical commodities like food and medicine.” That’s despite the fact that the humanitarian crisis in Yemen was caused by the Houthis.

Nevertheless the media, echoing propaganda from the Iran Lobby and Qatar, a close terrorist ally of Iran, has falsely claimed that the Houthis are the victims of the Yemen famine. A number of politicians, mostly Democrats, but some Republicans, as well as various aid groups, have pushed this same disinformation campaign about the causes of the Yemen famine.

America and its allies have spent billions providing food, medicine, and other humanitarian aid to Yemen. That aid has been seized by the Houthis who have used it for their own troops or to resell on the black market. This is a familiar problem from Syria to Somalia, and aid groups have refused to honestly address their complicity in aiding the terrorists who caused the crisis. There’s no money in admitting that the aid an organization is providing is being seized by the terrorists, prolonging the conflict and worsening the humanitarian crisis. Some aid organizations share the same goal as the Houthis of worsening the crisis because it boosts their donations.

That’s why international aid organizations don’t want to talk about the Houthis taking their food donations, or about their use of child soldiers. “It’s a taboo,” an anonymous aid official had said.

When Secretary Pompeo announced that the United States was finally designating the Houthis a foreign terrorist organization, the United Nations took the lead in claiming that it would cause a humanitarian crisis. But the UN’s World Food Program had already admitted that its food shipments weren’t getting to the starving people because the Houthis were intercepting them. The Middle East director for UNICEF also admitted that the Houthis were seizing food.

An Associated Press investigation found entire stores selling “cooking oil and flour displaying the U.N. food program’s WFP logo.” The former Houthi education minister said that 15,000 food baskets that were supposed to go to hungry families instead went to the Houthi terrorists whom the Biden administration is defending. Massive amounts of aid have been pumped into Yemen, and the famine has only grown worse because the Houthis have used starvation as a weapon.

The only way to end the famine is to end Iran’s grip on Yemen through its Houthi terrorists. That’s obviously not what Biden or the Democrats have in mind. The loudest Democrat voices against designating the Houthis as a terrorist group have a troubling history with Iran.

“Reversing the designation is an important decision that will save lives and, combined with the appointment of a Special Envoy, offers hope that President Biden is committed to bringing the war to an end,” Senator Chris Murphy tweeted.

Murphy had been among the loudest voices against the designation.

And Murphy had met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif last year. That same year, he had advocated lowering sanctions on Iran for “humanitarian reasons”. Biden had also joined the push to use the pandemic as a pretext for reducing sanctions on the terror state. That same year, the Left succeeded in forcing out Rep. Elliot Engel, one of the few remaining pro-Israel Democrats, and replaced him with the militantly anti-Israel Rep. Jamaal Bowman, whose election was backed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her antisemitic ‘Squad’.

Engel, who had served as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was replaced by Rep. Gregory Meeks, a strong backer of the Iran Deal. Meeks’ position was cheered by Iran Lobby groups. As far back as 2009, Meeks had declared at a hearing, “I have developed a tremendous appreciation for the work of the National Iranian American Council. I am pleased that we will hear the perspective of NIAC’s President, Mr. Trita Parsi.”

Emails released allegedly showed Parsi telling Iran’s Foreign Minister, “I am having a meeting with Gilchrest and Meeks, and they asked for our assistance in getting some communication going between the parliamentarians.” Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency, the official state news agency of the Islamic terrorist state, Chairman Meeks allegedly stated that he was willing to travel to Iran and had been engaged in dialogue with Iranian legislators. Meeks took the lead in attacking the designation of the Houthi Islamic terrorists as terrorists, arguing that, “No solution in Yemen will be sustainable unless the Houthis are involved.”

And that gets at the real reason why Biden and Democrats oppose the designation. It’s not about humanitarian aid, which would have kept on going anyway, only to be stolen by the Houthis. It’s about supporting Iran’s bid to take over parts of Yemen in order to control shipping and tighten the grip of the Islamic terrorist regime over the entire region. The ‘diplomatic’ solution advocated by Biden and the Democrats would finalize Iran’s grip over parts of Yemen. Designating the Houthis as terrorists would get in the way of another in a series of Islamist dirty deals with Iran that began with Obama and that will continue on under Biden.

Even while the Democrats insist loudly that the Houthis must be part of the solution in Yemen, they just as vocally cry that the Republicans must be isolated and eliminated in America. The Democrats militarized D.C. with an armed occupation and are criminalizing political dissent. They have claimed that one riot, after a year full of them by their own activist wing, requires a permanent state of emergency that will be run through the National Security Council.

The Biden administration is not only taking the Houthis, and likely other Islamic terrorist groups, off the terror list, it’s putting the domestic political opposition on its terror list. This is an extension of the same Obama policy that illegally shipped foreign cash to Iran even while it was using the NSA to spy on pro-Israel members of Congress and on the Trump campaign.

The Democrats are happy to fight terrorism by designating their domestic political opponents as terrorists while removing the “Death to America” Houthis who have kidnapped and killed Americans, who fired on the USS Mason, and ethnically cleansed Jews, from the terror list. And what do the Houthis plan to do with their newfound support from the Biden administration?

In addition to sanctioning the Houthis, the Trump administration sanctioned three of their leaders, beginning with Abdul Malik al-Houthi. The Houthi leader has made it clear that he intends to build up the same missile program that was used to attack the USS Mason.

“To have rockets that could reach far beyond Riyadh, this is a great achievement,” he said, referring to the Saudi capital. He also promised to send terrorists to fight against Israel.

“Many of Yemen’s tribesmen are ambitious to fight against Israel, and they are looking for the day to participate along with the freemen of the Islamic nation against the Israeli enemy,”

This is the terrorist group that the Biden administration and the Democrats are bailing out even while they’re criminalizing the Republican political opposition as terrorists. “Death to America” is something that the Houthis and their Democrat supporters can agree on.

Op-ed: Why does the media give a pass to Biden’s faith?

Commentary By Jason Jimenez, Op-Ed Contributor

Biden, the 46th president, is America’s second Catholic President. The first was John F. Kennedy — when he became President in 1961.  From the start of his campaign, Biden wanted everything to be about his faith. A favored campaign slogan for the Biden camp was the “battle for the soul of the nation.”

(Courtesy of Jason Jimenez)

It didn’t matter the media outlet. They all loved reporting on how Biden was a “deeply devout Catholic” and that his faith is a huge factor in “shaping his politics.” Even Speaker Pelosi publicly praises Biden’s faith and willingly admits that his Catholic faith has shaped his career and public policies. An article in The New York Times stated, “President Biden, perhaps the most religiously observant commander in chief in half a century, speaks of how his Catholic faith grounds his life and his policies.”

Interesting, isn’t it? How the media and every single big-time progressive politician have no problem mixing Biden’s faith with politics. But suppose you are a Christian who is pro-life and not in favor of the Supreme Court legalizing same-sex marriage. In that case, the response you get from the Left is the complete opposite. How was Judge Amy Coney Barrett (also a deeply devout Catholic) treated during the Senate confirmation hearings? Senator Dianne Feinstein and her colleagues didn’t praise Judge Barrett for her faith. Instead, Senator Feinstein expressed her concern about how Judge Barrett’s faith might influence her decisions by stating, “The dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s of concern.” But if the Left is so concerned about a person’s faith interfering with their public service, why isn’t the Left disparaging Biden from talking about how his faith shapes his public policies?

The main reason? Because President Biden is as much of a progressive as he is a Catholic. He is what I refer to as a “Progressive Catholic.” Don’t believe me? Listen to what he said in his book, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, “I’m as much a cultural Catholic as I am a theological Catholic.” Biden continues, “My idea of self, of family, of community, of the wider world, comes straight from my religion. It’s not so much the Bible, the beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, the sacraments, or the prayers I learned. It’s the culture.”

Because Judge Barrett is a conservative Catholic and not a progressive, liberal Democrats are concerned about her “dogmatic” positions embedding on her judgment. Therefore, she must be censored at all costs. However, in President Biden’s case, he gets a pass because he’ll keep on advancing progressive policies like the Equality Act (which will eviscerate religious freedoms in America), government funding of abortion, and the Green New Deal.

It’s not a question of whether President Biden has a right to express his religious beliefs. He has that right under the Constitution. It’s really about charging the media for being inconsistent by not allowing conservatives to do the same.

Let’s hope the media will admit to their intolerance and learn to be more receptive to Americans who hold conservative viewpoints.

Biden tells CBS: ‘I think it’s time for schools to reopen safely’

Reported by Matthew Miller, The Post Millennial |

CBS’s Norah O’Donnell interviewed President Joe Biden Sunday, pressing him on whether it was time to reopen schools, given the cost children and families nationwide have had to endure without in-person education.

“About 20 million American children have not been in the classroom for nearly a year. There’s a mental health crisis happening. Women are dropping out of the workforce,” O’Donnell started.

“Is this a national emergency?” she asked Biden to which the President replied, “It is a national emergency.”

O’Donnell followed up, and asked, “Do you think it’s time for schools to reopen?” Her question striking an issue that is of maximum contention right now in many cities across America, namely Chicago, where teacher’s unions are squared off in tense negotiations with city officials who are pressing to reopen classrooms.

“I think it’s time for schools to reopen safely. Safely,” Biden answered. “You have to have fewer people in the classroom. you have to have ventilation systems that have been reworked. Our CDC commissioner is going to be coming out with science-based judgement, I think as early as Wednesday, to layout what the minimum requirements are,” Biden explained.

Youth mental health reports have shown an alarming phenomenon of rising depression and suicide during the COVID-19 shutdowns. A recent American Psychology Association study found 7 of 10 members of Generation Z, were most likely to report experiencing symptoms of depression, USA Today reports.

As high as 25 percent of people aged 18-24 say that they have “seriously considered” suicide in the month of September, 2020, according to a CDC survey. “It’s so hard with kids not being able to play sports now,” O’Donnell commented.

Biden replied, “It really is. I think about the price so many of my grandkids and your kids are going to pay for not having had the chance to finish whatever it was. That graduation where you didn’t get to walk across the stage.”

“I think they’re going through a lot these kids,” Biden added.

Biden, Democrats get torched by their own for breaking $2,000 stimulus promise: ‘Never voting D again’

President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party were blasted by their own supporters over the weekend after the Democratic Party made it clear that Biden would be pursuing $1,400 stimulus checks in another coronavirus relief bill — not $2,000 checks like Biden and other Democrats promised. While campaigning during the Georgia runoff elections, Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, who both won their elections, made COVID relief a central campaign issue. Biden did, too. While speaking in Atlanta the day before the election, Biden promised that if Democrats took effective control of the Senate by winning both runoff elections, $2,000 stimulus payments would be distributed to Americans immediately.

However, Biden broke that promise before ever taking office.

As TheBlaze reported, the details of Biden’s coronavirus relief package were made public about one week before his inauguration. Included in his plan are $1,400 stimulus checks — not the $2,000 checks that he promised. The lower amount is being attributed to the relief package passed in late December, which included $600 stimulus checks. Biden is calling the first check a “down payment” and is adding it to his proposal to achieve the $2,000 promise. The Democratic Party solidified the lower amount on Saturday when it tweeted Biden’s $1,400 amount.

“@POTUS will build on the $600 down payment provided by Congress last year, sending an additional $1,400 to households across America, totaling direct payments to $2,000 per person,” the Democratic Party said.

The message was met with anger by Democrats and Democratic supporters, many of whom pointed out the clear contradiction between the current proposed amount and what was promised by Biden, Ossoff, and Warnock. One person replied with a picture of a Warnock campaign ad that promised $2,000 checks, saying, “Where does this say $600 down payment + $1400 check?”

Another person pointed to Biden’s own words, which promised $2,000 checks.

  • “i canvassed my ass off for y’all in georgia and you turn around and treat us like we’re stupid,” another person said.

  • “The Democratic party deserves to go extinct,” one person said.

  • “Y’all promised $2000 checks if you won the Senate, what’s this ‘down payment’ bulls***? I’m not selling you a car, I’m trying to keep a roof over my head and food on my table,” another person responded.

  • “I can’t believe you’re going to give up a generation of voters over $600 which was already a fraction of what other countries provided for their people,” another person replied.

  • “Build on a $600 down payment provided last year….lmao. Never voting D again,” one person vowed.

  • “People don’t like it when you treat them like they’re stupid,” another person said.

  • “Gaslighting the very people who trusted & voted for you,” another person responded.

With a bipartisan spirit, 10 Senate Republicans wrote Biden over the weekend with a COVID relief counterproposal. Their legislation would reportedly cost just $600 billion to Biden’s $1.9 trillion.

Facebook bans Christian prof. from platform for opposing Biden’s transgender military policy

A Christian university professor has been suspended from Facebook for voicing disagreement with President Joe Biden’s executive order allowing trans-identifying individuals to serve in the U.S. military.

Robert Gagnon, who teaches New Testament theology at Houston Baptist University and is a renowned scholar on the subject of sexuality, was locked out of his Facebook account for 24 hours on Tuesday after he posted a comment in defense of a friend who posted a satirical commentary about Biden’s executive order. Facebook suspended Gagnon’s account for what it deemed as “incitement” to violence.

In his post, Gagnon said the executive order will endanger women, and noted that those who promote transgenderism are allowing males to invade women’s athletics and shelters. He also likened transgender ideology to a “religious cult” and said it “is indeed a pseudo-science,” in that it forces people to reject basic biology. That Facebook suspended his friend for similar comments proves the cult-like dimension, he said.

Facebook subsequently sent Gagnon a notice, informing him that his words violated their “Community Standards on violence and incitement.”

“There was absolutely no incitement to violence on our part. We abhor violence done to any person,” Gagnon told PJ Media on Tuesday. “This is just a thinly veiled and pathetic excuse for censorship of any critical views toward trans-tyranny over our consciences, religion, and reason.”

“Only one point of view is being allowed,” he continued. “Trump was not the great danger to the Republic. Left-wing canceling is.”

After the day-long Facebook suspension was lifted, Gagnon posted on his page Thursday: “We are in the midst of rapidly accelerating public censorship of our views (with compelled speech) but we are not the victims. Neat trick.”

Gagnon’s friend, Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute, who was also banned from Facebook, had expressed her exasperation in a Facebook comment in which she pointed out that women who signed up to serve in the Armed Forces will now have to shower and bunk with males as a result of the executive order. Higgins referred to transgender advocacy as a “cult” whose goal is to spread “alchemical pseudo-science” globally “before the truth can pull up its pants” and continue to accuse Republicans as being “science-deniers.”

Higgins was banned from the social media platform for seven days and remains locked out of her account as of Thursday. The Christian Post reached out to Gagnon for additional comment on this article but did not receive a response by press time.

Conservative critics of Biden’s executive order have said that the change in policy imperils military readiness and that it’s tantamount to “social engineering.” Opposition to the order, however, spans the political spectrum.

In comments sent to CP earlier this week, Miriam Ben-Shalom, the first lesbian to ever be reinstated to the U.S. Army after being dismissed from service on the basis of sexuality, said she would “bet that no one thought to ask military women how they’d feel having an intact [male] in their barracks, showers, etc.”

“Military women already face difficulties when they serve — witness the recent spate of murders and the shocking statistics on rape in the military. Now, men have had the lack-witted brainlessness to add to the burden of military women. And wait until a female to trans wants to serve in the men’s barracks. What will the military do when such a woman is raped or assaulted — or killed?” she said.

Ben-Shalom, who describes herself as a “moderate independent” added that the move is a “slap in the face” to the military.

“This is pandering to a community that has many, many problems in terms of mental health and stability. This is pandering to Big Medicine, Big Pharma, and Big Money,” she said.

The Pentagon has said that approximately 9,000 service members identify as transgender, though independent estimates have put the number at around 16,000, according to The Wall Street Journal. Fewer than 1,000 have received a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria.

In 2016, the RAND Corporation published a study on Pentagon medical expenditures and found that the costs incurred by U.S. taxpayers to pay for trans-identifying service members’ medical costs fell somewhere between $2.4 million and $8.4 million each year.

Tucker Carlson reveals email sent to ICE officers after Biden’s deportation order: ‘Release them all, immediately’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed Friday that his team exclusively obtained an email showing how Immigration and Customs Enforcement was directed to carry out one of President Joe Biden’s executive orders on immigration. After entering office on Wednesday, Biden signed numerous executive orders, many of which reversed the policies of his predecessor, now-former President Donald Trump.

One of the executive orders enacted “a 100-day pause on deportations for some undocumented immigrants,” according to the Texas Tribune.

More from the Texas Tribune:

The pause in deportations, which begins Friday, is part of a review and reset of enforcement policies within Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agencies as the Biden administration “develops its final priorities,” according to a DHS statement.

The moratorium applies to “certain noncitizens ordered deported to ensure we have a fair and effective immigration enforcement system focused on protecting national security, border security, and public safety” according to the DHS. That category excludes any immigrant who is “suspected of terrorism or espionage, or otherwise poses a danger to the national security of the United States,” those who entered after Nov. 1 and those who have voluntarily waived any rights to remain in the country, according to a DHS memo.

Carlson said that his team obtained an internal email sent to ICE officers in Texas.

The email read, “As of midnight tonight, stop all removals. This includes Mexican bus runs, charter flights and commercial removals (until further notice) … all cases are to be considered [no significant likelihood of removal in foreseeable future].”

“Release them all, immediately. No sponsor available is not acceptable any longer,” the message added.

According to Carlson, the directive is the “result of the complete chaos” that resulted from Biden’s sweeping executive order.

The official who sent the email noted that he was just “the messenger” explaining the directive. In other words, It wasn’t his idea. It was Joe Biden’s. Now, this email was news to us. The memorandum from the Biden administration to halt deportations did not call for people here illegally to be released from detention. So we made some calls, and we learned that the Department of Homeland Security is currently hammering out how to enact the memorandum. It does not specifically call for the instant release of all migrants in detention.

So what was this memo about? Just the result of the complete chaos that resulted when the incoming administration changed a policy this big on its first day without explaining what it means.

As TheBlaze reported, Biden is expected to introduce comprehensive immigration reform within the beginning months of his administration in a massive package that will include a “pathway to citizenship” for illegal immigrants.

Biden is also expected to reverse or roll back most of Trump’s immigration policies.

Liberals lash out at Chuck Todd for calling on President-elect Biden to keep his campaign promise

NBC political director and MSNBC host Chuck Todd was excoriated by many on the left on social media for asking if President-elect Joe Biden would be able to keep his promise on the coronavirus pandemic.

Todd made the comments Tuesday on “Meet the Press” after noting poll results that showed many Americans believed the country was divided and would remain so for many years.

“Let’s be realistic, Biden’s first and most crucial task is to vaccinate America, to fulfill that promise of 100 million vaccinations in his first 100 days,” Todd said.

“The ultimate success or failure of his presidency may hinge simply on that one promise that he made and it might be his only way to begin immediately cauterizing America’s social, economic, and political wounds,” he continued.

“Let’s put it this way, if Biden wants to succeed he has to fulfill that first vaccination promise,” he concluded. “If Biden doesn’t get it right, he will have failed on the job he was elected to do.”

Many on the left rushed to social media to register their fury against Todd and MSNBC for continuing to keep him employed.

“For years I’ve been on this platform telling you about the lack of professionalism and lack of journalistic ethics in @chucktodd’s daily broadcasts. A lot of you saw it today. But it’s been happening for years and it is past time for @MSNBC to do something about it,” said novelist Don Winslow.

“If you agree that Chuck Todd is already a failure before Joe Biden is sworn in, then raise your hand,” tweeted progressive activist Grant Stern.

“[C]huck todd, before biden is even sworn in… talking about his push for vaccines: ‘if biden doesn’t get it right, he will have failed in the job he was elected to do’ i repeat: biden is not even sworn in yet,” said liberal activist Oliver Willis.

“I’ve been trying to hold my tongue. But I’m done. F*** @chucktodd. That’s what I said. F***. #ChuckTodd. Once more for the kids in the back: #F***CHUCKTODD!!!!” tweeted liberal actor Matt Walton.

Todd faced similar rancor from many on the left in July when he merely pointed out that the president had “turned a corner” on whether masks should be worn to help stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Here are the comments that enraged so many liberals:
