President Joe Biden’s approval rating sank below 40% in a poll released Sunday, appearing to contradict various reports of the president making a “comeback” among voters. The ABC/Washington Post poll of 1,006 adults, 908 of whom were registered voters, reported that 53% of respondents disapproved of Biden’s job performance while only 39% approved. Respondents gave Republicans double-digit leads when asked who they trusted to handle inflation, the economy and crime. (RELATED: ‘People Are Feeling That’: Chris Christie Reveals Why New Poll Is ‘Bad News’ For Dems)

Multiple reports have suggested Biden is making a “comeback” among voters, citing an uptick in approval in recent polls. Only 36% of those polled approved of Biden’s handling of the economy, with 74% describing it as “bad.” The economy was seen as highly important by 84% of those responding to the poll, while 76% considered inflation highly important.

The Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade did not seem to help the Democrats, according to the poll, with 76% of those who supported the Dobbs ruling saying they were certain to vote as opposed to 70% of those who opposed the ruling.

Most Americans believe religious freedom is in decline; a third says Christians complain too much: poll

More than half of all Americans say religious tolerance for Christians is on the decline, even as more than a third also believes Christians complain too much about how they are treated in society, a newly released Lifeway Research survey suggests.

In a study of just over 1,000 Americans conducted last September, 54% said religious liberty in the United States is in decline, including around a quarter (24%) who strongly agree with that statement. Almost a third (32%) of respondents disagreed, while 14% said they weren’t sure.

An even greater percentage of Americans believe religious tolerance for Christians in America is in decline, with 59% agreeing that “Christians increasingly are confronted by intolerance in America today.” Less than a quarter (24%) disagreed, and another 18% said they were unsure if intolerance for Christians is increasing in America. African Americans (68%) and white Americans (59%) were more likely to agree than people of other ethnicities (47%).

Protestants (69%) and Catholics (59%) were most likely to agree that Christians are facing increasing intolerance. Fifty-three percent of respondents of other religions and 41% of religiously unaffiliated respondents said the same. Those who attend a worship service at least four times a month (64%) are more likely to believe religious liberty is on the decline in America than those who attend less than once a month (53%).

The religiously unaffiliated, or “nones,” were the least likely (40%) to agree religious liberty is on the decline.

“Freedoms are not limitless,” said Scott McConnell, executive director of Lifeway Research. “As some groups seek more freedom, it often encroaches on another’s freedom. It’s not surprising those who are more religiously active are the ones noticing reductions in religious freedom compared to those who don’t practice religion.”

The survey also found an interesting corollary to the perceived decline in religious liberty: more than a third (36%) of all Americans say Christians in the U.S. “complain too much about how they are treated,” including 14% who strongly agree. Nearly half (49%) of respondents disagreed, while another 15% weren’t sure. Males (40%) were more likely to agree than women (32%) that Christians complain too much about how they are treated. Respondents over 65 were the most likely to disagree that Christians complain too much (64%). The survey found that those who hold Evangelical beliefs are more likely to disagree that Christians complain too much (61%) than those who don’t have Evangelical beliefs (45%).

The religiously unaffiliated (53%) were more likely to agree than either Protestants (27%) or Catholics (34%) that Christians complain too much.

“Intolerance is about cultural pushback,” McConnell said. “In the American marketplace of ideas, not all systems of thought are welcomed. The majority of all religions notice this pushback against Christians today.”

The survey was conducted online with over 1,005 respondents and has an error margin of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points, with error margins being higher among subgroups. Quotas and slight weights were used to balance gender, age, region, ethnicity, education and religion to more accurately reflect the U.S. population.

New poll finds more Americans blame Biden for inflation than the pandemic, corporate greed, or Putin’s invasion

Recent polling shows that very few Americans are buying the excuses the Biden administration are making for high inflation and instead blame the President Joe Biden and his policies. The NBC News poll asked Americans who they thought was to blame for the high inflation that they are suffering under and offered some of the culprits blamed by the president and his supporters as possible answers. Among the options listed, Biden and his policies were blamed by a plurality of Americans polled, at 38%. Only 28% blamed the coronavirus pandemic, another 23% blamed corporations raising prices, and barely 6% blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin and his invasion of Ukraine.

Over recent months, the Biden administration has attempted to blame the invasion of Ukraine, the greed of meat conglomerates, and the pandemic for the high inflation eating away at Americans’ savings and wages. The same poll found the president’s approval rating to drop to 40% while an astounding 55% disapprove of the job Biden is doing. When asked about the economy, only 33% said they approved of the job he’s doing, while 63% said they don’t approve of the job Biden is doing.

The astonishing poll is just the latest in a long series showing devastating results for Democrats ahead of the midterms, where they would have faced an uphill battle even without horrible polling. The terrible polling has lead to greater division in the Democratic party among the centrist establishment wing, which blames progressive extremism, and the far-left progressive wing that blames Biden for not going far enough to the left.

Socialist Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York on Thursday said that the low polling came from progressives and young voters who were disappointed that Biden had done enough to satisfy their left-wing demands.

New poll shows Joe Biden is hemorrhaging support among critical voter demographics

Reported by CHRIS ENLOE | October 03, 2021

Alarm bells should be going off in the White House after a new poll showed that President Joe Biden is hemorrhaging support among a voter demographic critical to winning presidential elections. The Associated Press-NORC poll shows that Biden’s approval rating sits at 50% while his disapproval rating stands at 49%. In this particular poll, Biden’s approval has tanked nearly 10 points since July when the same survey found Biden’s approval rating to be 59%.But the real story is how poorly Biden is viewed by independent voters, the demographic critical to winning the White House.

Since July, Biden has hemorrhaged more than 20 points among independent voters; only 38% of independents now approve of Biden, according to the poll, whereas 62% approved of him just two months ago. Biden even lost seven points among Democrats, down to 85% approval from 92% in July.

Among black Americans, Biden’s support has cratered from 86% to 64% in just two months. The AP tried to soften the blow by characterizing the massive decrease as Biden’s support among black Americans having “dipped somewhat.”

In its story covering the bad news for Biden, the AP attempted to draw blame toward former President Donald Trump:

In follow-up interviews, some of those who had mixed feelings about Biden’s performance still saw him as preferable to former President Donald Trump. They said that Biden was dealing with a pandemic that began under the former president, an Afghanistan withdrawal negotiated on Trump’s behalf and an economy that tilted in favor of corporations and the wealthy because of Trump’s tax cuts.

“Trump had a lot to do with what’s going on now,” said Acarla Strickland, 41, a health care worker from Atlanta who voted for Biden yet now feels lukewarm about him.

However, Trump cannot be blamed for Biden’s self-inflicted wounds. Not only is Biden facing massive legislative battles on Capitol Hill that are not going in his favor, but the COVID-19 pandemic has ranged on under his leadership, as has the border crisis, which has generated bipartisan blame. Biden also presided over the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, with resulted in more American casualties.

Not only is support for Biden cratering, but another poll shows his promise to unify America is becoming a foregone possibility. The poll — conducted by the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia in partnership with Project Home Fire — discovered that 41% of Biden supporters and 52% of Trump supporters agree the United States should be split between Republican-controlled states and Democratic-controlled states.

Nolte: Donald Trump Leaves Office with 51% Approval Rating

Trump’s disapproval rating sits at just 48 percent.

There are a lot of media polls that show Trump’s approval rating in the low forties, and even in the thirties. But, over the course of the last few election cycles, we have learned that these are almost all fake polls, rigged polls, polls that in no way reflect reality. And we know this because when the ultimate poll is taken on Election Day, the media polls are all wrong. The whole point of media polls is to mislead, demoralize, and deceive the American people into believing Trump is less popular than he really is.

Time and again, Rasmussen has proven to be reliable and accurate, which tells us the insanity of the Capitol Hill riot and the corporate media’s determination to blame the president for it — even though he expressly called on that crowd to be respectful and peaceful, even though he almost immediately called for the anarchy to stop once it began (which is more than any Democrat has ever done) — is not penetrating into the electorate at large.

People don’t trust the media and are not listening to the media, and why should they? The media have lied about everything for nearly a decade now.

So basically, all this unfounded left-wing hysteria is affecting absolutely nothing outside the corporate media bubble, even though the hysteria has gone so far that we now have to look at the kabuki theater of the military shutting down Washington, D.C., which includes fences covered in razor wire. This is all being done in an effort to fool people into believing Trump supporters are some sort of danger to His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Oh, and did you know there is no evidence of any threats against His Fraudulency?  That’s right, none.

What’s more, in this particular poll, Trump’s job approval rating has actually INCREASED since the Capitol Hill riot. What had been a 47 percent approval rating on January 7 is now a 51 percent approval rating, a bump of four points in approval.

Because Wednesday is Trump’s last full day in office, this will be Rasmussen’s final tracking of his daily approval numbers.

I do hope that those of you still naïve enough to be fooled by the fake news media pay attention to this poll. One trick the fake media are quite good at is delivering the impression they can still shape public opinion and move that needle. But what more proof do you need of how impotent the modern-day media are than this poll?

For two weeks the public have been gaslit by every corner of the dominant culture into believing Trump called for a riot and that Washington, D.C., is under imminent threat of attack by Trump supporters (when the truth is that there’s zero evidence of any kind of attack). To back up this nonsense, His Fraudulency and Capitol Hill Democrats have basically declared martial law around the White House, and what’s the result…

Trump’s approval rating has INCREASED and he leaves office with a perfectly respectable 51 percent.

Don’t let the media grifters and liars fool you. The only power they have left is to gin up violence in Democrat-run cities.

No one else is paying attention.

Biden is now at 46 percent support in the national survey of likely voters conducted by Rasmussen. A week ago, the same poll showed Biden at 48 percent.

President Donald Trump’s support increased from 44% last week to 45% in the latest poll.

Rasmussen noted that Biden’s latest showing was his lowest level of support in any of their surveys in 2020.

The survey of 2,500 Likely Voters was conducted during the Democrat convention on August 19-20 and after the convention on August 23-25. The margin of error is +/- 2 percentage points.

Other national polls show Biden still leading Trump. A CNBC/Change Research Poll showed Biden leading by eight points and an Economist/YouGov poll showed Biden leading by nine points.

TWO Great Articles About a Recent CNN Pole That Backfired on the Leftist

CNN Poll: Support for Impeachment Dropping, Even Among Democrats

Support for impeaching President Trump is dropping while opposition is growing, a CNN poll released this week reveals.

A full House vote on the two approved articles of impeachment against the president, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, is expected to take place this week. However, as recent polls have indicated, support for impeachment is dropping and opposition is growing.

A CNN poll released this week, conducted by SSRS December 12-15, among 1,005 adults, found that 45 percent support impeaching the president. That reflects a 5-point drop from November’s results, which showed support for impeachment at 50 percent.

Support for impeaching the president, even among Democrats alone, is dropping. In November, 90 percent of Democrats supported impeaching the president. The most recent results show the number falling to 77 percent — a 13-point drop in one month.

Meanwhile, opposition is growing. According to the poll, 47 percent oppose impeaching the president, reflecting a four-point jump from last month’s results, when opposition stood at 43 percent.  The poll’s margin of error is +/- 3.7 percentage points.

The results coincide with the House Judiciary Committee’s decision to advance articles of impeachment against the president. The full House is expected to vote this week. According a report from the Wall Street Journal, Democrats have enough votes to impeach, making a trial in the Senate inevitable.

WSJ reported:

By Monday afternoon, at least 18 from the 31 Democratic-held districts that Mr. Trump won in the 2016 presidential race had announced they would support the abuse-of-power and obstruction of Congress charges, according to a Wall Street Journal survey, with two saying they are opposed.
With the new announcements of support, and assuming no unexpected defections, Democrats have enough votes to impeach the president. While Americans nationally are about evenly split on whether they back impeachment, according to an average of polls by RealClearPolitics, some of the Democrats in the Trump-won districts acknowledged potential political risks.

About one-third, 32 percent, believe the partisan impeachment effort will ultimately help Trump’s reelection bid. The number is even greater among Republicans, with 54 percent indicating that impeachment will help him in the 2020 election.

An IBD/TIPP poll released Monday suggested that impeachment is already having an impact on the 2020 race, with voters shifting to the president over his potential Democrat contenders in hypothetical general election matchups.

“Yet another poll bad for House Democrats impeachment. CNN poll out today: Impeachment under water at 45-47,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) wrote, noting the significance of impeachment support dropping and opposition growing.

“Support for the charade falling just about everywhere,” he added:

Must Watch: CNN Host Melts-Down After Revealing Their Own Polls Data About Impeachment Support

Written by Staff Writer | December 17, 2019

Poor Jeffery Toobin, he had a rough day when the results of a CNN poll about impeachment support were announced.

As we have been reporting the support for impeachment has dropped and continues to, especially in battleground states. Look no further than CNN’s poll that showed support for impeachment has dropped dramatically in recent weeks – WITH DEMOCRATS!

According to CNN’s polling data, during Rep. Adam Schiff’s secret meetings in the bunker of the Capitol Building, Democrat support for impeachment was 90%. Once the Republicans forced House Democrats to hold public hearings support among Democrats dropped to 77% meaning in just a few week support among Democrats for impeachment dropped 13% points.

The news of this drop was just too much for CNN’s legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin and during a “New Day” segment he melted down over the polling data. Toobin exclaimed “that poll is wrong,” because well he, “said so!”

Mark Finkelstein at Newsbusters described Toobin’s meltdown the best:

Here was poor Jeffrey, in the depths of denial:

“I don’t believe that poll for one second, the 90 to 77%. I don’t believe it. It makes no sense that that number would change like that . . . David, that poll is wrong. Just because I said so, okay?”

Toobin stopped just short of stamping his feet, banging his fists, and knocking over his Lego tower.

The David in question was CNN political director David Chalian, who defended his own poll:

“I don’t know what’s not to believe. You call people on the telephone, you get their information. You pop out a survey. This is what those that we polled told us.”

If you enjoyed reading the transcript just watch below the man loses his mind, Toobin is in straight denial.

Poll: Democrats Cause Patriotism to Plummet Ahead of July 4th

The number of Americans who consider themselves “extremely proud” of their country is at a record low ahead of Independence Day.

A new Gallup poll released on Tuesday found that while 70 percent of all U.S. adults say they are proud to be Americans, only 45 percent say they are “extremely” proud of their country.

This was the second consecutive year in which the number of individuals identifying as extremely patriotic fell below 50 percent. Overall the share of Americans identifying as “extremely” patriotic is now at the lowest level since Gallup began asking the question in 2001.

Gallup found the decline in patriotism to be largely driven by Democrats. Of those identifying with the party, only 22 percent said they were “extremely” proud to be Americans. Similarly “subgroups that typically identify as Democrats — women, liberals and younger adults,” also expressed lower levels of patriotism, according to Gallup.

The new polling confirms trends witnessed among Democrats since President Donald Trump took office. The share of Democrats expressing patriotism plummeted by double digits from 43 percent in 2017 to 32 percent in 2018. Although Democrats have historically reported lower levels of pride in their country, this year’s total of 22 percent is the lowest on record since Gallup began measuring the question.

Republicans, on the other hand, continue to express record levels of patriotism. Gallup found that 76 percent of individuals associated with the GOP identified as “extremely” proud to be Americans—only ten percentage points less than the group’s recorded high in 2003.

Even though Gallup shows a correlation between levels of patriotism and which party controls the White House, the level of pride among Democrats since Trump took office is exponentially low. During the administration of President George W. Bush, the percent of Democrats expressing extreme pride in their country never fell under 46 percent. In comparison, during the presidency of Barack Obama the share of Republicans identifying as extremely proud to be American never dropped below 68 percent.

Gallup, however, did find that the two parties more broadly agreed about “American economic achievements,” with 89 percent of Republicans and 64 percent of Democrats expressing pride. Likewise, Republicans and Democrats showed reverence for the U.S. military, with 98 percent of Republicans and 84 percent of Democrats saying they were proud of the institution.

Gallup conducted the poll between June 3 through June 16 by surveying 1,015 adults from across the country. The poll had a margin of error of +\- 4 percentage points.

Scariest Poll of the Year for Democrats Just Released

Scariest Poll of the Year for Democrats Just Released. If you are listening to the Democrats, there are a lot of things they didn’t like about the president’s speech at last night’s State of the Union address.

But what should bother them most is the poll released shortly thereafter.

President Trump received a 75 percent approval for his SOTU speech. That’s really bad news for Democrats. But inside the numbers reveals far deeper problems. According to the poll 43 percent of Democrats liked the president’s speech. That number is huge. At best, Trump likely carried only 30 percent of the Democrat vote on November 8, 2016. So the idea that he now carries an additional 13 percent is huge. Add to this the recent poll showing the twice as many blacks support Trump now than on election day, and you see the problem for the Democrats.

Next, 72 percent of Independents liked the speech. Again, a big increase over the Independents who supported Trump a year ago.

How do you think those numbers jive with the fake news polls?

Consider Steve Schmidt of MSNBC who actually called the speech “divisive” and thought it was coming from an “alternate reality.”

SCHMIDT: “The president went in there as presidents do and addresses the nation. But left unsaid was that this president comes in, the most unpopular president this early in his tenure in the history of polling.

Somebody who is besieged by a criminal investigation, talking about the importance of our law enforcement organizations and institutions while at the same time the Republican majority working with the White House is engaged in a full-on assault trying to discredit the FBI, the Justice Department, doing everything they conceivably can to insulate the president from these investigations.

Across the depth and breadth of this, you saw a divisive speech, the wedge issue of immigration, the scare tactics of ms-13. There was no talk in this speech about the challenges the country faces over the next five years, ten years, 15 years.

And more than anything, there was a speech delivered almost from an alternate reality, a fifth dimension that presumes that nothing we heard from this president has actually in fact happened. And the American people know it.

Schmidt may have listened to President Trump, but he didn’t bother to hear. But there is one more number to consider. The Republicans. So what about that Republican base?

With 97 percent of Republicans liking the speech, that means Trump has undoubtedly shored up his base. Given the anti-Trump and Never Trumpers, the fact that Trump has such overwhelming support from a supposedly fractured party speaks volumes. The Democrats would sacrifice much for such unity.

Recall a poll taken after Trump was in office just 6 months trying to convince the public he was the most hated president in history:

According to the Washington Post/ABC poll, President Trump’s new approval rating is 36%.

“Approaching six months in office, Trump’s overall approval rating has dropped to 36 percent from 42 percent in April. His disapproval rating has risen five points to 58 percent. Overall, 48 percent say they “disapprove strongly” of Trump’s performance in office, a level never reached by former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and reached only in the second term of George W. Bush in Post-ABC polling.”

Democrats believed their polls in 2016, and that ended poorly.

Now a CBS poll, obviously biased against Trump yields amazingly pro-Trump numbers. So what are the real numbers?

The good news for President Trump is the real numbers don’t matter. Because they will only get better.

At the SOTU, President Trump stayed true to the course he set. While Democrats behaved like petulant children, they have no choice but to come around. Truthfully, Democrats are happy Obama is gone. They celebrate a real president, but can’t share their joy.

However, soon they will admit their support for President Trump. To do so will be acceptable.

CNN Poll: Pence Wins VP Debate, 29 Percent Move Toward Voting for Trump

URL of the original posting site: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/10/05/cnn-poll-pence-wins-vp-debate-29-percent-move-toward-voting-trump/

The CNN/ORG instant poll of vice presidential primarily Democrat debate watchers, shows Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana topped Democratic candidate Sen. Tim Kaine (VA). Some 29 percent said they moved toward voting for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump after the exchange.

Despite the Democrat-heavy audience displayed in the new poll, 48 percent said Pence won the debate over Kaine. Only 42 percent of those debate watchers said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s running mate won.

Two-fifths of those registered voters surveyed said they were Democrats, 30 percent Republican and 29 percent unaffiliated or part of another party.

Almost 30 percent of respondents said they were more likely to vote for Trump after watching the debate, while just 18 percent said they moved toward Clinton. An original image broadcast by CNN of the numbers of debate watchers that moved toward voting for Clinton or Trump after watching the vice presidential candidates were reversed, showing more moving toward Clinton; however, a CNN reporter corrected the numbers after they had been posted to the screen and revealed that the true result. More than half of debate watchers surveyed said “neither” when asked who the debate made them likely to vote for.

Kaine was aggressive in the exchange, and it may have cost him. He jumped from 28 percent “unfavorable” before the debate to 40 percent after. While 16 percent of those asked weren’t sure if they saw Kaine as favorable or unfavorable before the debate, only 4 percent were unsure after.

Some 43 percent of respondents said Kaine did worse than expected compared to 38 percent that he did better and 15 that said he did the same as expected.

Pence was seen as doing better than expected by two-thirds of those polled while only 14 percent said worse and 15 percent said he performed the same as expected.

It wasn’t clear just by what margin the poll leaned Democrat, but 58 percent said they thought Kaine better defended Clinton while 35 percent said Pence defended Trump better. 48 percent said that Kaine had a better understanding of issues while 41 percent said Pence was the candidate that better understands issues.

Kaine was seen by 76 percent as more on the attack of Pence while just 14 percent said Pence attacked Kaine more.

Even greater numbers of respondents found Pence likable than said he won the debate. 53 percent said Pence was more likable while only 37 percent said Kaine was.

Pence’s favorability jumped seven points after the debate. 57 percent of survey respondents said thay had a favorable opinion after the debate compared to 50 percent favorable before. His unfavorable rating also increased a small amount, from 36 percent to 40. Those unsure dropped from 15 percent before the debate to 3 percent after.

Pence was seen as more broadly qualified to take over as president if needed according to CNN. 77 percent said Pence was qualified compared to 70 percent that said Kaine was.

The poll had a sampling error of +/- 4.5 percent according to CNN broadcast reporting on the poll.

CNN reported its polling methodology:

The CNN/ORC post-debate poll includes interviews with 472 registered voters who watched the October 4 vice presidential debate. Results among debate-watchers have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points. Respondents were originally interviewed as part of a September 28-October 2 telephone survey of a random sample of Americans, and indicated they planned to watch the debate and would be willing to be re-interviewed when it was over.

Trump Surges to 3-Point Lead over Clinton in L.A. Times Tracking Poll

waving flagby Joel B. Pollak, 13 Sep 2016

The result is still within the poll’s margin of error. The “Daybreak” poll methodology is described as follows:

The USC Dornsife/L.A. Times Presidential Election “Daybreak” Poll asks more than 400 people each day about their voting intentions. The poll is part of the Understanding America Study (UAS) at the University of Southern California’s Dornsife Center for Economic and Social Research.

Each day’s poll respondents are a subset of the UAS election panel, roughly 3000 U.S. citizens who were randomly recruited from among all households in the United States. Respondents are asked three predictive questions: What is the percent chance that (1) you will vote in the presidential election? (2) you will vote for Clinton, Trump, or someone else? and (3) Clinton, Trump or someone else will win?

Tuesday’s poll had 2,665 respondents.

Trump’s largest lead in the poll has been 7.3 points, recorded on July 28 during the height of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. From there, Trump fell steadily for over two weeks, hitting a low of 41.6% as Clinton hit a high of 46.3% on Aug. 14. The poll results narrowed after that, but the results for the past two days show an unusually large shift in Trump’s direction.

The improvement in Trump’s numbers follows a weekend in which Clinton referred to half of Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables,” and appeared to collapse at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City, raising serious concerns about her health.

of domenstic terroristEditor’s Note: This is another in a series of reports on the polling by Clout Research, a national opinion research firm in Columbus, Ohio, for WND.com.

A new poll reveals that 45 percent of the Democrats who responded believe that Christians are a greater threat to America than Muslims. No shock that 72 percent of atheists agree.

But the surprise is that 18 percent of those who consider themselves ” very conservative” agree.

As do 29 percent of Protestants.

And 23 percent of Catholics.

Interestingly, the sample of Muslims was very small, but 100 percent said it is Muslims who are the greater danger.

The results are from a new WND/Clout poll by Clout Research, a national opinion research firm in Columbus, Ohio. The telephone survey of registered voters was taken Dec. 18-27, except for the holiday, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.35 percentage points.

Poll chief Fritz Wenzel said, “A surprising finding in the survey shows that one in three respondents said they believe Christians pose a greater threat to America than do Muslims. Among Democrats, 45 percent said Christians are more dangerous than are Muslims, while 36 percent of political independents said the same. Among Republicans, 20 percent said Christians are the greater threat.”Hate Me hate you

Men Love Darkness because they knowHe said the opinions “may well have to do with the Colorado Springs shootings at the Planned Parenthood office there that resulted in three deaths. That shooting was carried out by a deranged man who opposed abortion. His religious affiliation is unclear, but many may have extrapolated that he must be a Christian conservative. This conclusion is bolstered by the fact  that women were more likely than men to name Christians as a bigger threat than Muslims – but that said, still 63 percent of all women still said Muslims are the greater threat.”

His analysis continued, “The more conservative the respondent, the more likely they were to identify Muslims as the greater threat to America.”Islam is NOT

The survey included very few Muslims, but they all said Muslims were the greater threat to the country. Among Protestants, 29 percent said Christians were the greater threat, while 72 percent of Atheists said Christians were a greater threat, he noted.

“A majority of blacks said Christians were the greater threat, but all other races said Muslims were the greatest threat to America,” he said.

The question asked was simple: “Which do you believe pose the greatest threat to America – Muslims or Christians?”

Fifty-five percent of Democrats, 80 percent of the GOP and 64 percent of the independents identified Muslims.

Among those who identify themselves as liberal, it was approaching 50 percent that believe Christians are the greater danger.

Among whites, 67 percent identified Muslims, among Hispanics, 90 percent identified Muslims and among Asians, 82 percent identified Muslims. It was blacks, who by a 55-45 majority, said Christians are a bigger threat.

Although 51 percent of Americans think immigrants strengthen the country, an overwhelming majority of Americans do not want to see obama-border-is-open-378x257immigration levels increase, according to a new Pew poll. Just 24 percent of those polled said the U.S. should increase the number of legal immigrants allowed into the country, while 70 percent said the level of immigration should decrease or remain the same. Six percent said they didn’t know. (RELATED: Media Ignores Evidence Americans Want To REDUCE Legal Immigration)

The share of those who believe immigrants strengthen the country by their hard work and talents dropped from a high of 57 percent last year to a small majority of 51 percent this year. And the share of those who believe immigrants are a burden on the economy rose from 35 to 41 percent. The declining share of Americans who view immigrants unfavorably holds across party lines, although most Democrats and Independents still believe they strengthen the country.Only Reason

The share of Republicans who believe immigrants strengthen the country dropped sharply from about 45 percent in 2013 to just 27 percent this year. The share of Democrats who view immigrants favorably dropped a few points to 62 percent, and the share of Independents dropped slightly to 57 percent.

anti-immigrationDespite a number of polls similar to this one showing more Americans than not — across party and demographic lines — are concerned about legal immigration, most of the Republican and Democratic 2016 candidates favor an increase.Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum are the only 2016 candidates talking about slowing the rate of legal immigration into the country, for the sake of American workers.

homelessThe foreign-born population will reach 51 million by 2023, which is the largest share of total population ever recorded in American history, the U.S. Census Bureau recently projected. (RELATED: Wages Declined As Immigration Surged)

Nearly one in five U.S. residents will be an immigrant by 2060, largely because of legal immigration, not illegal immigration, a Center for Immigration Studies analysis of the Census data found. And immigrants will account for 82 percent of population growth in the U.S. from 2010 through 2060.

The Pew Research Center polled 2,002 adults May 12-18, with a margin of error of +/- 2.5 percentage points.

Poll: Majority of Americans Favor Voter ID Laws by a Huge Margin

http://www.tpnn.com/2014/05/16/poll-majority-of-americans-favor-voter-id-laws-by-a-huge-margin/

Voter ID
Democrats like to pretend that voter ID laws are some modern-day disenfranchisement efforts. These same Democrats ask for ID at Democrat events, however, so their logic- and I use that term loosely- is flimsy, to say the least.
Apparently, the bulk of America agrees that there is nothing sinister about voter ID laws as a new poll shows that 7 in 10 registered voters are in favor of identification laws for voting.
I suppose they’re all “racists,” too…
According to a new Fox News poll, 7 in 10 registered voters favored the laws with the majority of blacks and Democrats also polling in favor of them.
The 70 percent who support voter ID laws remains largely unchanged in the past few years. Another 27 percent believe the laws are unnecessary…

The survey found majorities of every demographic support the law. Ninety-one percent of Republicans offer support, and 66 percent of independents feel the same.

Fifty-five percent of Democrats support the laws, while 43 percent oppose them.

Opposition to the laws is highest among black respondents, but even there a bare majority, 51 percent, support them. Forty-six percent of African Americans oppose the laws…

The poll asked, “Supporters of these laws say they are necessary to stop ineligible people from voting illegally. Opponents say these laws are unnecessary and mostly discourage legal voters from voting. What do you think?”

The poll surveyed 1,025 registered voters and margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
In essence, voter ID laws requires states ask from those looking to vote the same burden of proof that is required to board a plane, drive a car, buy a beer, buy cigarettes, pick-up tickets at will-call, get into an R-rated movie or place a bet.

Democrats, in order to win on this issue, must, somehow, demonstrate that it is more unreasonable to ask for an ID at the voting booths than it is for a clerk to ask for ID at a late night showing of a horror movie.

All in all, the case against voter ID laws is not only flimsy, it’s downright laughable in its ridiculousness.
