UN to Set Up a U.S.-based Disarmament Specialist

It’s no secret that President Obama and the would-be global governors at the United Nations are anxious to disarm the American people. Now they’re looking to hire some help in getting it done.

From the UN’s Programme of Action and Arms Trade Treaty, to his own executive orders, Obama is pursuing every available avenue toward de facto repeal of the Second Amendment and the God-given right to keep and bear arms that it protects.

“As a reminder; our own Secretary of State, John “the Lurch” Kerry signed America as a cooperating nation in the treaty. Yes, he broke the law doing that because HE DID SO WITHOUT THE HOUSE APPROVAL. But, why should the Obama administration start following the law now?” JB

Over the next few weeks, though, the UN is looking to add personnel to its gun grabbing gestapo. In a job advertisement open until July 26, the UN is looking for a “Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Officer.”

What will this bureaucrat’s bailiwick be? Here’s a summary of the job description as posted by the UN:

Act as a Focal Point for DDR [Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration] components for 2-3 missions, responsible for planning, support to implementation and evaluation;

Advise, develop and review (as appropriate) initial DDR functional strategy and concept of operations for further development into a full programme by the DDR component and the National DDR Commission;

Provide Headquarters support in planning the civilian and military logistics support for DDR;

Continually review DDR programme strategy and implementation through relevant documents, reports and code cables;

Conduct field missions to assess implementation of established DDR programmes;

Identify potential problems and issues to be addressed and suggest remedies to DDR units in the field; and

Liaise with others (UN, regional organizations [sic] and Member States) providing DDR training.

As if the list of tasks assigned to the disarmament specialist isn’t enough to fire up patriots who own firearms and refuse to have them seized by the UN or the Obama administration, the UN wants to base this office in New York City!

It is more than a little incompatible that a country that places such a high value on gun ownership that it enshrined it in its Bill of Rights participates in an organization that has such disdain and disregard for those rights that it is opening a disarmament office in that country.

Lest anyone think that there’s nothing to fear from this agent of disarmament, consider the definitions of disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration provided by the UN on an information page linked to the job opening announcement:

Disarmament is the collection, documentation, control and disposal of small arms, ammunition, explosives and light and

heavy weapons from combatants and often from the civilian population.

Demobilization is the formal and controlled discharge of active combatants from armed forces and groups, including a phase of “reinsertion” which provides short-term assistance to ex-combatants.

Reintegration is the process by which ex-combatants acquire civilian status and gain sustainable employment and income. It is a political, social and economic process with an open time-frame, primarily taking place in communities at the local level.

The objective of the DDR process is to contribute to security and stability in post-conflict environments so that recovery and development can begin. DDR helps create an enabling environment for political and peace processes by dealing with security problem that arises when ex-combatants are trying to adjust to normal life, during the vital transition period from conflict to peace and development.

Notably, the UN will require the DDR specialist to help disarm ex-combatants. Is this mission not an eery echo of recent efforts in the United States to keep veterans from owning firearms? Perhaps, unbeknownst to the American people, President Obama has already been using his infamous “pen” and “phone” to carry out the disarmament of veterans in furtherance of some higher-level UN strategy.

Could it be also that the rapid militarization of local law enforcement in the United States could be another tactic in the piecemeal, surreptitious deployment of “troops” capable of carrying out a forcible forfeiture of firearms?

As reported by the National Rifle Association’s Ginny Simone, there are those on the inside who have raised the warning voice.

Simone reports that in 2012, Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, a U.S. delegate to the UN Small Arms Conference, revealed that the UN’s ultimate goal is to disarm all Americans in the name of global peace and an end to armed violence.

“In New York, right here on our own shores, we’ve got a Trojan horse. They won’t accept U.S. firearms policy,” Whittlesey said. “They want to take the decision away from the U.S. electorate and undermine our Constitution.”

Regardless of the reason, Americans must adamantly refuse to allow the UN to establish an office of disarmament on our own shores. We must demonstrate our ancestors’ zeal for liberty, particularly regarding the fundamental right to oppose tyranny by force of arms.

If we do not, we may soon be subject to the full expression of the authority of the U.S.-based DDR specialist and be left defenseless in the fight against absolutism.

Conservatives vs. Sell-Out Politicians: Who Holds the Football?

The great cartoonist Charles M. Schulz created the iconic scenario of Lucy Van Pelt holding the football for the hapless and trusting Charlie Brown. As Charlie charges the football to kick it, Lucy snatches the ball away at the last second and Charlie falls down. This embarrassment is repeated regularly throughout the history of the Peanuts comic strip with subtle and not-so-subtle differences. (At one point Lucy even gives Charlie a “signed document” only to inform him when the inevitable outcome happens that it wasn’t notarized.)

This scenario has frequently been applied to politics with the Democrats holding the football and the Republicans trying to kick it. This has happened with such regularity that I seriously question its validity. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t hold the football nor does Harry Reid. John Boehner has been holding the ball and the American people are continuingly falling down in the kick attempt.

What other understanding would account for the Republicans’ seeming lack of courage in the face of the opposition? Why do they continually desire to “cross the aisle” and compromise our freedoms away? Why, with a House majority, have the Republicans accomplished little or nothing? In fact they are generally quiet until election time rolls around. One has to seriously wonder if the Republican leadership is perfectly satisfied with being the minority party in Washington and for how long have they been satisfied with this position. Why not choose to get eighty percent of the perks with limited responsibility? Instead of leadership we get a constant litany of excuses: “We don’t have the votes”, “We only have the House, the Democrats hold the Senate and the White House”, “We’re considering taking the president to court”, blah, blah, blah. They all sound eerily similar to “it wasn’t notarized.” In the meantime the country continues to decline, Americans continue to hurt.

The average American is conservative. Does the Republican Party represent the average American? At best they have grudgingly

accepted our support but judging on how fast John Sununu and George H. W. Bush dismantled his revolution it would seem that Ronald Reagan was, to them, merely a speed bump. Face it; we are not the kind of guests welcomed at the elite Republican Women’s dinners but for decades we suffered through a seemingly endless parade of less-than-thrilling candidates. Oh sure they occasionally dangled one of ours as a vice-presidential candidate but the end result was the same: a declining America and a depressed citizenry.

Columnist Mark Steyn often cites the late Dr. Milton Friedman who said: “I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing.”

Unless one could confine all elected representatives in a cage with dispensers for “wise choice” tasty kibble and “poor choice” electroshock this strikes me as incredibly (and uncharacteristically) naïve. The basic problem is the monstrosity that is our Federal government. It’s so large and overreaching that there can be no “right people” or “right choices”. It’s all wrong, horribly wrong.

When the American people were rudely awakened to the unrestrained power of Washington by the Kelo Decision of the Supreme Court they formed political congregations now collectively termed “The Tea Party”. When these organizations of ordinary citizens had the audacity to challenge the political elite and even win they are attacked. In the Mississippi primary run-off of Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the Washington elites poured money into a state campaign and used Democrat voters to push their candidate to a slim margin of victory. This total disregard for the rank and file of Republican voters should demonstrate conclusively that the Republican leadership does not represent the American people. The good news is that in so doing they have freed us to effect what Dr. Friedman desired.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show Wednesday June 25th, 2014 a caller from Mississippi who was disgusted with the interference by the Republican elites said he was going to vote for the Democrat candidate in November. Rush said he understood the caller’s desire to teach the Republicans a lesson. He further said: “I don’t think that they are teachable. I don’t. I don’t think the Republicans will learn. They’re defiant.” Exactly. So the answer is not to teach them a lesson, the answer is to expel them from school because they won’t learn and the way to do it is to do so selectively. Don’t vote out Thad Cochran to make him pay for it. There are so many questions as to his cognitive ability he probably won’t understand anyway. Send a clear message by voting out Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.

We must view the political process not as discrete battles but as a war. We must think and act strategically. With the primaries remaining we must support candidates that represent the American people not the Washington establishment. In November we should vote Republican except for Mitch McConnell and John Boehner. Even if it means voting for a liberal Democrat we must remove these two from power.

Afterwards we need to continue to primary those candidates who support the Washington status quo. In election after election we can weed out our representatives. In those areas where it is unlikely that a conservative Republican would win in the general election get involved in the Democrat Party, start making an impact there. “D” or “R” shouldn’t matter, only “USA” should. The Washington feeding trough is full of tasty slops and it’s time we pull their Statist snouts out of it.

Mr. Limbaugh continued to warn about the pitfalls of third-party candidates and is probably still correct at least for the time being. However if we continue to be active in the primaries, effect surgical removals of certain individuals, and become involved in both parties we would be well on our way to having a viable alternative party should we need one.

Who really holds the football? We do.

How long will it be until libs in the United States start sentencing people to jail for “hurting other people’s feelings”?

A teenage girl was sentenced to lock-up for 12 months Friday for throwing bacon at the window of a mosque and wrapping a few pieces around the door handles, the BBC reported.

No one would question that desecration of a church of any kind is wrong. The act, committed in January 2013, while unkind and inexcusable, was not vandalism. It damaged nothing and hurt nobody. What ostensibly should have resulted in a fine, an obligation to polish the handles and sweep the floor, turned out to be much more.

Chelsea Lambie, 18, and two friends were convicted by a jury of threatening and abusive behavior in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Douglas Cruikshank, 39, was sent to jail for nine months because he pled guilty, and Wayne Stilwel from Gorebridge, who also pled guilty, received 10 months behind bars.

According to The Scotsman, the sole worshipper inside saw the trio at the door but ignored them, and then heard something hit against the prayer room window, the uncooked bacon.

At the trial, security guard Usman Mahmood explained the offensive nature of the encroachment.

“It is against our culture and our religion. We do not eat pork or even touch it. I felt very bad seeing this meat in my sacred place. It hurt my feelings when I saw this meat hanging inside the mosque…it was very disturbing,” he said.

“How do you react to your knot-headed brethren beheading our Christian Brothers and raping our Christian sisters? Shut up with your stupid feeling hurt. I’m not interested. When you start speaking out about your stupid religion’s teaching of sever atrocities, then I will listen to your complaint about some bacon. Until then, SHUT THE HECK UP!!!!!” Jerry Broussard, WhatDidYouSay.org

The prosecuting attorney for east of Scotland, John Logue, said: “The Muslim community are a valued and integral part of Scottish society and there is no place for such attacks in modern Scotland…we will not let it be blighted by a narrow minded and hateful minority,” the Scotsman reported.

“REALLY? Valued and INTREGRAL? Oh, they’ve paid you off, You are a miserable hack.’

He added that “we will maintain our zero-tolerance approach towards such crimes, which will continue to be investigated carefully and prosecuted robustly.”

“It does not seem to me there is any way to deal with this case other than custody,” said Sheriff Alistair Noble, who passed down the terms on convictions of threatening and abusive behavior.

Celebrate Independence Day By Opposing Government Tyranny

The mainstream media and opportunistic politicians have turned Independence Day into the opposite of what was intended

This week Americans will enjoy Independence Day with family cookouts and fireworks. Flags will be displayed in abundance. Sadly, however, what should be a celebration of the courage of those who risked so much to oppose tyranny will instead be turned into a celebration of government, not liberty. The mainstream media and opportunistic politicians have turned Independence Day into the opposite of what was intended.

The idea of opposing — by force if necessary — a tyrannical government has been turned into a celebration of tyrannical government itself!

The evidence is all around us.

How would the signers of the Declaration of Independence have viewed, for example, the Obama Administration’s “drone memo,” finally released last week, which claims to justify the president’s killing American citizens without charge, judge, jury, or oversight? Is this not a tyranny similar to that which our Founders opposed? And was such power concentrated in one branch of government not what inspired the rebellion against the English king in the first place?

The “drone memo,” released after an ACLU freedom of information request, purports to establish the president alone as the arbiter of who is or is not a terrorist subject to execution by the US government. There is no due process involved, just the determination of the president. Thus far the only American citizens killed by the president are Anwar al-Awlaki and his teenaged son, but the precedent has been established, according to the memo, that the president has the authority to kill Americans he believes are terrorists.

Even the New York Times, which generally backs whatever US administration is in power, is troubled by the White House’s legal justification to claim the authority to kill Americans. A Times editorial last week concluded that:

…the memo turns out to be a slapdash pastiche of legal theories — some based on obscure interpretations of British and Israeli law — that was clearly tailored to the desired result.

I agree with the New York Times’ conclusion that, “[t]his memo should never have taken so long to be released, and more documents must be made public. The public is still in the dark on too many vital questions.”

Coincidentally, in addition to the “drone memo” released last week, a broader study of the US use of drones was also released by the Stimson Center. The study, co-chaired by Gen. John Abizaid, former U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commander, concluded that contrary to claims that drones help prevent wider conflicts by targeting specific individuals, the use of drones “may create a slippery slope leading to continual or wider wars.”

In fact, the study concluded, the use of drones overseas is likely counterproductive. “Civilian casualties, even if relatively few, can anger whole communities, increase anti-US sentiment and become a potent recruiting tool for terrorist organizations,” the study found.

Seven years ago I wrote in an Independence Day column:

Only the safe-guards and limitations that are enshrined in a constitutionally-limited republic can prohibit a nation from lurching toward empire…I hope every person who reads or hears this will take the time to go back and read the Declaration of Independence. Only by recapturing the spirit of independence can we ensure our government never resembles the one from which the American States declared their separation.

On Independence Day we should remember the spirit of rebellion against tyranny that inspired our Founding Fathers to set out our experiment in liberty. We should ourselves celebrate and continue that struggle if we are to keep our republic.

The Declaration of Independence

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us: For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

ISIS Mocks Obama in Latest Video: “Obama, Did You Prepare Enough Diapers For Your Soldiers?”

ISIS released a new video on Sunday titled – “The End of Sykes-Picot.”
At the end of the video a laughing jihadist cruising in a Ford 350 mocks Obama.

The Islamist Abu Saffiya from Chile, shows off the spoils of war and raises the Islamic flag at a former Iraqi military base. Another Islamist mocks Obama at the end of the video:

The plan was to kidnap Ambassador Christopher Stevens and attack the CIA annex on 9/11. A team of Iranian operatives under the control of Qassem Suleymani, the head of Iran’s secretive Quds Force, arrived a few days before September 11, 2012 in order to put the plan into operation.

There was only one hitch: the NSA, which had a top secret listening station at the CIA annex in Benghazi, picked up on local jihadist chatter, revealing the plan. But Suleymani had a CIA source that told him of the NSA’s discovery. A backup plan was then quickly put into motion that sounds like something out of a spy novel.

The Iranian operatives, posing as doctors as part of the Red Crescent—the Islamic version of the Red Cross—travelled in a caravan of Red Crescent vehicles to their hotel. In a hail of gunfire, the al-Qaeda-linked group, Ansar al-Sharia, surrounded the caravan and took the Iranian operatives captive. Through the CIA’s contacts, they found out that Ansar al-Sharia had taken them prisoner and shipped them back to Iran, thus ending the Iranians’ plan to kidnap Chris Stevens and attack the CIA annex. And thus, no precautions were taken to protect the ambassador and fortify the CIA annex.

But it was all part an elaborate ruse.

According to the book Dark Forces: The Truth About What Happened in Benghazi by Kenneth R. Timmerman, released today, the attack and kidnapping of Suleymani’s men by Ansar al-Sharia was completely staged to make the NSA and CIA think the plan to kidnap Chris Stevens and attack the CIA annex had been cancelled. The plan was merely altered, however, to have Ansar al-Sharia carry out the attack on the Benghazi consulate and CIA annex instead of Suleymani’s men. Suleymani didn’t believe Ansar al-Sharia could successfully kidnap Chris Stevens, so Suleymani ordered Chris Stevens to be murdered instead.

The NSA, CIA, and Obama fell for an elaborate ruse that left four Americans dead.

That was why Obama would not send in help to Benghazi. That was the reason for the ridiculous story of a protest turned violent over an internet video. And that was the reason for the biggest coverup in U.S. history.

I can’t see how this plan could possibly go wrong.

The Obama administration asked Congress on Thursday to authorize $500 million in direct U.S. military training and equipment for Syrian opposition fighters.

Obama didn’t ask Congress for authorization to invade Libya. He told Congress that he wouldn’t ask for permission to bomb Iraq.

The only reason Obama asks for something is to score political points or to cover his ass. In this case it’s the latter because even Obama knows this is a terrible idea.

That’s why he has been delaying for so long.

Within the OCO request, the Syria money is part of a $5 billion fund announced by Obama last month to help build a new counterterrorism infrastructure with partner countries “from South Asia to the Sahel.”

So Obama is going engage in counterterrorism… by arming and training terrorists. That’s like running guns to Mexican drug cartels to stop Mexican drug cartels from having guns…

… another brilliant Obama plan.

The request does not specify the type of military equipment that would be included. Under the existing covert program, the administration has sent limited quantities of small arms and ammunition and has allowed others to send U.S.-made antitank weapons.

So we’re going to be giving them unspecified weapons that could be used against American targets.

A US chopper in Afghanistan was already shot down by the Taliban using a Qatari shipment of Stinger missiles meant for Libya.

That was another of Obama’s great plans.

Obama turned a blind eye to Qatar smuggling weapons to Jihadists in Syria.

The $500 million training and equipping mission would be aimed at helping “vetted elements” of the Syrian armed opposition to “defend the Syrian people, stabilize areas under opposition control, facilitate the provision of essential services, counter terrorist threats, and promote conditions for a negotiated settlement.”

What exactly are these “vetted elements”?

1. Last spring the New York Times wrote, “Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of.”

2. The only opposition we supposedly backed was the Free Syrian Army.

Unfortunately…

A. The Free Syrian Army consisted of a coalition of mostly Islamist militias under Islamist commanders, some of whom carried out joint operations with Al Qaeda/Al Nusra Front, which has pledged alliance to ISIS/Al Qaeda in Iraq.

B. An Islamist coalition easily took on the FSA and stole all the stuff we gave them while their fighters ran away.

C. 4 out of 5 FSA front commanders demanded to work with Al Qaeda.

D. Its leader initially defended Al Qaeda/Al Nusra and claimed they weren’t terrorists.

3. There is no such thing as a “vetted opposition” because the weapons we give will go down to individual groups that can align with whoever they chose and trade weapons with anyone they choose.

The FSA fighter we train today may be an Al Qaeda fighter tomorrow or he may have been Al Qaeda last week.

4. ISIS got so big and dangerous because of the weapons and recruits pouring into the Syrian opposition. Trying to arm and train “moderate elements” just keeps the conflict going which makes Al Qaeda grow faster and bigger than ever.

You can’t beat Al Qaeda by helping Al Qaeda.

Sometimes the price of being right is looking like you’re wrong, eh guys?

But the four people quoted above weren’t lying. Okay, maybe they weren’t 100% certain, but based on whatever intelligence they had access to at the time, clearly they were convinced Saddam Hussein had WMD’s.

And would ‘ya looky here:

Sunni extremists in Iraq have now occupied what was once Saddam Hussein’s premier chemical-weapons facility and found…. wait for it: The dreaded, long lost, never were there in the first-place, Bush lied – people died: Weapons of mass destruction.

ISIS, the group people are saying is worse than Al Qaeda – I guess you have to be competitive in today’s world – has apparently captured a stockpile of chemical weapons which if you listen to the aforementioned Clinton, Clinton, Gore & Kerry since the war, never existed.

U.S. officials don’t believe the Sunni militants will be able to create a functional chemical weapon from the material.

The weapons stockpiled at the Al Muthanna complex are old, contaminated and hard to move, officials said.

war. He’s going to all of a sudden say, “hey, look! WMD’s – that President Bush was right all along!!”? Yeah, right..

So they trot out this woman I believe to be the most condescending liar in the history of U.S. politics, State Department spokeswoman, Jen Psaki. Here’s the company line: “We do not believe that the complex contains CW materials of military value and it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to safely move the materials.” Guess those inspectors missed something?

President George W. Bush has been vindicated and history will show he lead through strength and resolve.

Obama? Not so much.. But don’t worry – ignorant followers who will listen to the Administration and it’s lapdogs in the press state it over and over again will still believe that these weapons never existed and will still blame Bush.

Revenue would help jihadist group build Islamic caliphate

WASHINGTON – The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, is targeting Iraq’s oil fields as part of its plan to raise revenue and build its caliphate infrastructure.

The move makes it unlikely the ISIS would destroy the fields, unless the Iraqi military regroups and attempts to recapture them.

In addition to the oil and natural gas field in the Sunni-controlled region of Iraq, ISIS is about to capture the Balad Air Base just north of Baghdad where U.S. F-16s were slated to be based. ISIS is advancing on the Haditha Dam, which produces power and controls the flow of water to the south into the Shiite-controlled region of Iraq.

As a result of its blitzkrieg moves from Syria into Iraq in recent weeks, ISIS has virtual control over Iraq’s largest oil refinery, the Bayji facility in Salahaddin province. In Syria, the jihadist group has taken control of the Al Omar oil field in Deir al Zour province near the town of Al Mayadin.

The gains are in addition to its takeover of the Ajeel oil wells east of deposed Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s hometown of Tikrit. Along with the oil wells, ISIS has captured a natural gas field called Ajeel.

All of this has sources convinced ISIS is targeting Iraq’s oil infrastructure. If ISIS proceeds south, it then would be in a position to capture the oil fields in that region of the country as well as in Kuwait, both of which provide oil for the world economy.

For ISIS, these oil fields are revenue generators. In addition, control over the flow of water into the south puts additional pressure on the Shiite government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki

For these reasons, it’s likely ISIS won’t destroy the air base, oil wells or the Haditha Dam. That could change if the Iraqi military regroups and attempts to take back the facilities, but that appears unlikely for now.

ISIS sees all of the facilities as part of its grand plan not only to raise revenue but help in building a caliphate subject to strict Islamic, or Shariah, law.

The vision by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is to create an Islamic caliphate. It would stretch from the Mediterranean through Mesopotamia, or modern-day Iraq, which also includes the countries of Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and even Israel, an area once referred to as Greater Syria.

As ISIS takes control of the region, it can help ensure a following by using oil revenue to finance social programs and restore public services.

In many instances, ISIS has been able to get electricity and water resources functioning again in towns it now occupies and create a series of social programs to provide other essential needs for the population.

The ISIS targeting of the oil fields is reminiscent of the U.S. priority in 2003 to revitalize the oil industry for foreign investors once the Iraqi government was back in friendly hands. However, there were little or no plans for post-war reconstruction.

Is this why president Obama released the FIVE TALIBAN LEADERS? Was Bergdahl’s release just a cover to help set all this up? Who again was the one that release the man responsible for creating this ISIS movement from custody? Oh yea, President Obama. Not passing the smell test here folks.” JB

Indeed, the Bush administration had intentions of partitioning Iraq into three autonomous areas for Sunnis, Kurds and Shiites.

In 2002, however, the private U.S. intelligence firm Stratfor questioned the approach, predicting it would lead to a fracturing of the country.

“The new government’s attempts to establish control over all of Iraq may well lead to a civil war between Sunni, Shia and Kurdish ethnic groups. … The fiercest fighting could be expected for control over the oil facilities.”

This is precisely what is occurring today with the ISIS blitzkrieg across Iraq.

The U.S. strategy in developing the oil fields for future world sales, however, assumed U.S. troops would remain for generations as they did in Germany after World War II.

However, in less than 10 years, U.S. troops were removed from Iraq, creating a power vacuum that has brought the sectarian groups to what now amounts to a civil war.

In 2002, Stratfor predicted such an event if Iraq were split along sectarian lines.

“After eliminating Iraq as a sovereign state, there would be no fear that one day an anti-American government would come to power in Baghdad, as the capital would be in Amman (Jordan). Current and potential U.S. geopolitical foes Iran, Saudi Arabia and Syria would be isolated from each other with big chunks of land between them under control of the pro-U.S. forces,” Stratfor said.

“Equally important, Washington would be able to justify its long-term and heavy military presence in the region as necessary for the defense of a young new state asking for U.S. protection – and to secure the stability of oil markets and supplies. That in turn would help the United States gain direct control of Iraqi oil and replace Saudi oil in case of conflict with Riyadh.”

Today, however, it is ISIS that controls the oil fields and could head into southern Iraq to take the country’s other oil and natural gas fields and threaten Saudi Arabia.

The prospect raises concern over who would control world oil production and its price – the markets, or ISIS.

Iraqi troops backed by helicopter gunships launched an operation early Saturday aimed at dislodging Sunni militants from the

northern city of Tikrit, one of two major urban centers they seized in recent weeks in a dramatic blitz across the country.

After watching much of Iraq slip out of government hands, military officials sought to portray the push that began before dawn as a significant step that puts the army back on the offensive. They said the operation includes commandos, tanks and helicopters, as well as pro-government Sunni fighters and Shiite volunteers.

Tikrit residents reported clashes in the city, but the extent of the fighting was unclear.

Jawad al-Bolani, a security official in the Salahuddin Operation Command, said the immediate objective is Tikrit, the hometown of former dictator Saddam Hussein and one of two major cities to fall in recent weeks to the al-Qaida breakaway Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and allied Sunni militants. He said there was no concrete timeline for the operation to conclude.

northern outskirts, Iraqi military spokesman Lt. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi said. There was no immediate word on casualties.

Government troops established a bridgehead on the sprawling campus early Friday after being ferried in by helicopter.

A Tikrit resident confirmed that air raids took place at the University of Tikrit around dawn Saturday. He reported clashes between the Islamic State and Iraqi forces to the southeast as well, but said militants are still patrolling the city. He spoke on condition of anonymity out of concern for his safety.

Another Tikrit resident, Muhanad Saif al-Din, said the city has emptied out in recent days as locals flee ahead of anticipated clashes.

“Tikrit has become a ghost town because a lot of people left over the past 72 hours, fearing random aerial bombardment and possible clashes as the army advances toward the city,” Saif al-Din said. “The few people who remain are afraid of possible revenge acts by Shiite militiamen who are accompanying the army. We are peaceful civilians and we do not want to be victims of this struggle.”

He said the city has been without power or water since Friday night.

The airstrikes come after a senior U.S. Defense official confirmed to Fox News that the United States is flying armed drones over Iraq, though the aircraft are not being sent at this time to engage Sunni militant fighters.

The U.S. already was flying surveillance drones over the country, and the decision to dispatch armed drones marks an escalation. But the armed drones, at this stage, still are only in place for surveillance purposes.

President Obama has not authorized combat operations in Iraq. The decision to deploy armed drones is described as defensive — they could, if needed, be used to protect U.S. troops or the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.

The White House is still weighing how deeply to get involved in the Iraq crisis, as the Shiite-led government struggles to stop the advances of Sunni militants with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.

Secretary of State John Kerry has been on a weeklong tour through the Middle East and Europe in pursuit of a diplomatic solution that could ease sectarian tensions. He was in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The Obama administration, meanwhile, has begun sending military advisers into Baghdad to help Iraqi security forces strategize against ISIS, which the State Department considers a terrorist group.

If the United States is a police state, then the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is its national police force, with all the brutality, ineptitude and corruption such a role implies. In fact, although the DHS’ governmental bureaucracy may at times appear to be inept and bungling, it is ruthlessly efficient when it comes to building what the founders feared most — a standing army on American soil.

The third-largest federal agency behind the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense, the DHS — with its 240,000 full-time workers, $61 billion budget and sub-agencies that include the Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, Secret Service, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) — has been aptly dubbed a “runaway train.” With good reason, a bipartisan bill to provide greater oversight and accountability into the DHS’ purchasing process has been making its way through Congress.

A better plan would be to abolish the DHS altogether. The menace of a national police force, aka a standing army, vested with so much power cannot be overstated, nor can its danger be ignored. Indeed, as the following list shows, just about every nefarious deed, tactic or thuggish policy advanced by the government today can be traced back to the DHS, its police state mindset, and the billions of dollars it distributes to police agencies in the form of grants.

Militarizing police and SWAT teams. The DHS routinely hands out six-figure grants to enable local municipalities to purchase military-style vehicles, as well as a veritable war chest of weaponry, ranging from tactical vests, bomb-disarming robots, assault weapons and combat uniforms. This rise in military equipment purchases funded by the DHS has, according to analysts Andrew Becker and G.W. Schulz, “paralleled an apparent increase in local SWAT teams.”
Spying on activists, dissidents and veterans. In 2009, DHS released three infamous reports on right-wing and left-wing “Extremism,” and another entitled Operation Vigilant Eagle, outlining a surveillance program targeting veterans. The reports collectively and broadly define extremists as individuals and groups “that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely.”
Stockpiling ammunition. DHS, along with other government agencies, has been stockpiling an alarming amount of ammunition in recent years, which only adds to the discomfort of those already leery of the government. As of 2013, DHS had 260 million rounds of ammo in stock, which averages out to between 1,300 to 1,600 rounds per officer. The U.S. Army, in contrast, has roughly 350 rounds per soldier.
Distributing license plate readers. DHS has already distributed more than $50 million in grants to enable local police agencies to acquire license plate readers, which rely on mobile cameras to photograph and identify cars, match them against a national database, and track their movements.
Tracking cellphones with Stingray devices. Distributed to local police agencies as a result of grants from the DHS, these Stingray devices enable police to track individuals’ cellphones — and their owners — without a court warrant or court order.
Carrying out military drills and lockdowns in American cities. Each year, DHS funds military-style training drills in cities across the country. These Urban Shield exercises, elaborately staged with their own set of professionally trained crisis actors playing the parts of shooters, bystanders and victims, fool law enforcement officials, students, teachers, bystanders and the media into thinking it’s a real crisis.
Using the TSA as an advance guard. The TSA now searches a variety of government and private databases, including things like car registrations and employment information, in order to track travelers before they ever get near an airport.
Carrying out soft target checkpoints. VIPR task forces, comprised of federal air marshals, surface transportation security inspectors, transportation security officers, behavior detection officers and explosive detection K-9 teams, have laid the groundwork for the government’s effort to secure so-called “soft” targets such as malls, stadiums, bridges, etc.
Conducting widespread spying networks using fusion centers. Data collecting agencies spread throughout the country, aided by the National Security Agency, fusions centers — of which there are at least 78 scattered around the U.S. — constantly monitor our communications, collecting and cataloguing everything from our Internet activity and web searches to text messages, phone calls and emails. This data is then fed to government agencies, which are now interconnected: The CIA to the FBI, the FBI to local police.
Carrying out Constitution-free border control searches. On orders from the DHS, the government’s efforts along the border have become little more than an exercise in police state power, ranging from aggressive checkpoints to the widespread use of drone technology, often used against American citizens traveling within the country.
Funding city-wide surveillance cameras. As Charlie Savage reports for the Boston Globe, the DHS has funneled “millions of dollars to local governments nationwide for purchasing high-tech video camera networks, accelerating the rise of a ‘surveillance society’ in which the sense of freedom that stems from being anonymous in public will be lost.”
Utilizing drones and other spybots. The DHS has been at the forefront of funding and deploying surveillance robots and drones for land, sea and air, including robots that resemble fish and tunnel-bots that can travel underground.

It’s not difficult to see why the DHS has been described as a “wasteful, growing, fear-mongering beast.” If it is a beast, however, it is a beast that is accelerating our nation’s transformation into a police state through its establishment of a standing army, aka national police force.

This, too, is nothing new. Historically, as I show in my book “A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State,” the establishment of a national police force has served as a fundamental and final building block for every totalitarian regime that has ever wreaked havoc on humanity, from Hitler’s all-too-real Nazi Germany to George Orwell’s fictional Oceania. Whether fictional or historical, however, the calling cards of these national police agencies remain the same: brutality, inhumanity, corruption, intolerance, rigidity and bureaucracy — in other words, evil

Sadly, America has sunk to lows not thought of when I was growing up. At that time we had just “legalized” the murder of the unborn and called it a choice. As I became a teenager sodomites began to whine about their victimhood because of GRIDS (Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome, renamed as AIDS to protect the guilty), which led to a campaign to use the term “gay” instead of other references in hopes that it would make it more palatable to society, which it did. Lately it’s been what is commonly called transgendered people that will be put out on display to be pushed to be “accepted.” The latest in this round of degeneracy is former Navy SEAL Team 6 senior chief petty officer Christopher Beck, who had surgery to remove his penis and testicles, put in a gash that is a “pretend vagina,” and took hormones in the vain thought of becoming a woman, and Barack Obama’s Pentagon thinks he is a great poster child for military recruitment. Nothing says, “Be all you can be” like this, right?

It wasn’t enough that the Obama administration has revoked “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” to not enforce the law of the land under the Defense of Marriage Act and to actually promote the wickedness and perversion of homosexuality. Now his Defense Department thinks it is wise to take a mentally ill former SEAL and use him as a recruitment tool…. and Beck is a tool.

Kristin Beck, formerly Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Beck, spoke recently at several high-profile events at intelligence agencies and the Pentagon to promote the integration of transgenders. “Transgender service in the armed forces, yes it will happen soon,” she said on Twitter.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, among the most politically correct Pentagon chiefs of the past several decades, fueled the effort within the Pentagon to integrate transgenders in May when he said the policy of banning transgenders should be reviewed continually. The transgender drive is the latest element of the Obama administration’s social engineering within the U.S. military.

The Pentagon currently defines transgenders as sexual deviants.

Among Ms. Beck’s recent appearances were speeches at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office and at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, according to the DIA and her Twitter feed. She also was scheduled to speak to the Multicultural Heritage Committee at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, although one defense official said it is not clear how transgenderism fits within the multicultural spectrum.

Did you get that? The Pentagon defines Beck as a “sexual deviant,” yet uses him to promote military recruitment. Unbelievable!

Furthermore, just because a man emasculates himself, grows his hair out, puts makeup on, gets breast implants or takes hormones to grow them, doesn’t change the fact that his DNA determines that he will always be a male. Yes, that little Y chromosome thing does make the difference.

Beck is also the author of Warrior Princess. According to Amazon’s description of the book:

Yeah, nothing screams fear to your enemies than a man in a dress, and seriously, the last line about gender between your legs, or something bigger? I’ll hold back on any comment. But that is exactly the point isn’t it? Gender is more than just between your legs. Though outwardly that shows us gender, it’s actually bound up in our DNA.

As Dr. Eowyn points out, “That is why psychiatrist Joseph Berger, M.D., says from a medical and scientific perspective, there is no such thing as a transgendered person.”

Beck claims, “The world is looking at us. You can change the wallpaper, but I’m still right here. I can still do the job I was doing in uniform.”

More than performance, if the Pentagon defines transgenders as sexual deviants, why are they not upholding their own rules regarding such? This activity is banned, even though “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was repealed. Why are they promoting a sexual deviant? I can answer that in two words: Political Correctness, and there is no doubt this will only weaken the US military, which is being purged and sodomized.

No longer are people strong enough to call things what they are, because they are afraid of being labeled “bigot,” “homophobe,” “xenophobe,” “racist,” or a myriad of names. Look, I would just as soon see Beck repent of what he has done, but people coddling the ridiculous notion that this man is a woman are only help to push him into it further. Eventually, my guess is that Beck will find that he will be unable to deal in the reality he has set himself in and as a result, he will follow a long line of people who have gone down the same path and it ended in suicide. He will encourage other confused men and women to continue in this practice to the dishonor of their bodies, minds and the US military.

A secret document was revealed (see References) which was issued by the Qatari Embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, revealed that Qatar was able to equip some 1,800 volunteers from North Africa to fight in Iraq’s notorious ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).

The document bears the signature of the Acting Qatari Embassy in Libya, Nayef Abdullah Al Emadi, in which he wrote that “the volunteers completed military and combat training with heavy weapons, especially in the camps Zintan, Benghazi, Zawiya and Misrata in Libya” suggesting to send these fighters in three batches over the Libyan ports to Turkey, and then to enter northern Iraq through Kurdistan.

Emadi noted that “these groups will be ready by next week,” and “We call on the need to accelerate in coordination with the Turkish side to receive the fighters in the appropriate port, and let us know the appropriate dates to send those groups.”

Besides Qatar’s aid to the ISIS, the document bolsters the case of Turkey’s involvement. Turkey has aided the ISIS in the northeastern parts of Syria when terrorists like the ISIS continue to organize the theft of oil to be shipped towards Turkey and sold cheaply which funded over $800 million to terrorists including the ISIS. That including Turkey’s secret plan that was exposed via a leaked recording in which the top Turkish officials were audio taped conspiring to even use the ISIS to invade Syria.

President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

During an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama administration was getting impatient with Congress.

“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,” he explained. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.”

“In other words, MORE TYRANNY. Now he isn’t hiding it. He is proud of the fact that he thinks himself King Obama, and doers not have to answer to the Constitution.” JB

Earnest added that, although Obama was exploring executive action, it was on immigration reform.

“That’s why we’re trying to focus on getting that done,” he concluded.

Obama has been heavily criticized after his 2012 executive decision to defer the deportations of some young illegal immigrants, which critics argue was a key incentive for more children to cross the border illegally.

In a move sure to inflame the left, a Republican congressional candidate in Louisiana is releasing a nearly five-minute long video railing against liberals and calling global warming a “hoax” that might be “the greatest deception in the history of mankind.”

The video comes from candidate Lenar Whitney, who is running as a Republican in the crowded Sixth Congressional District race in the state.

“A spectre is haunting America,” Whitney says in the video. “It is perhaps the greatest deception in the history of mankind. It has been almost 10 years since failed presidential candidate Al Gore put out his propaganda film, ‘The Inconvenient Truth,’ proclaiming that the actions of America’s energy industry are causing a catastrophic rise in the earth’s temperature.”

“But quite inconveniently for Al Gore,” Whitney continued, “and for the rest of the politicians who continue to advance this delusion, any 10-year-old can invalidate their thesis with one of the simplest scientific devices known to man: a thermometer.”

Talking about Gore, Whitney adds: “The earth has done nothing but get colder each year since the film’s release.”

A large banner announcing Hillary Clinton’s book signing in her home town of Chappaqua, NY had the word “BENGHAZI” spray-painted over it in large letters. It was discovered over the weekend.

The sign was promoting Hillary Clinton’s upcoming book signing event at the Chappaqua Library, Sunday, June 29th, at 3:00 PM. Ms. Clinton will be signing copies of her new memoir, “Hard Choices.”

Police are searching for whoever spray-painted “Benghazi” in bold red letters on Ms. Clinton’s sign, according to Westchester News 12.

“Hard Choices” has had a sluggish start. Sales declined 43.5% to just 48,000 copies in its second week on the book market, according to Nielsen BookScan.

The sheer evil brilliance of Obama’s minions never ceases to amaze me. They are tenacious in their efforts to find ways to circumvent the Constitution and our laws – they simply never give up. There is no better example of this currently than Operation Choke Point. They were caught in 2013 targeting legal industries they did not approve of by bullying banks and other financial institutions into cutting off funds to those whose activities were not ‘acceptable.’ Specifically, the gun industry:

Last year the Department of Justice partnered with the FDIC and the Federal Trade Commission to put a whole host of industries (and their customers) on a “high-risk” list and urged banks to pay close attention to those industries as part of Operation Choke Point.

Storefront gun dealers, online dealers and ammunition dealers are on the “high risk” list, along with porn and other salacious products (as if they’re even comparable, the Second Amendment is constitutional right, yet it’s on the DOJ hit list). DOJ argues the program is needed to stop fraud, but that’s a lie. The program is used to target politically inconvenient industries without the permission of Congress.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), at the behest of Barack Obama, has declared that gun stores are “high risk” businesses. “High risk” businesses have been, up until now, a small category of supposedly disreputable businesses, which have included pornographers, sellers of drug paraphernalia, and payday lenders.

The second step in the process is Eric Holder’s Justice Department’s “Operation Choke Point.” And its function is specifically to choke off any credit or credit card processing for businesses (now including gun owners) who fall in the “high risk” category.

There has been a great deal of push back on this targeting and persecution of legitimate businesses by the Obama Administration. Conservative financiers have stepped forward to fill the breach. Undaunted and undeterred, if Obama and Co. can’t get to Conservatives through the law or the Constitution, they then turn to cutting off funding. If that doesn’t work, they turn to government agencies and regulation. If that doesn’t work, there is always Obama’s pen and paper. And so it goes until they accomplish their destructive goals.

Rand Paul has filed Amendment 3292 to H.R. 4660, which would put a hold on Eric Holder’s “Operation Choke Point.” It was added to the Science Justice Commerce Appropriations bill. However, I would wager even if slows them down, it won’t stop the Progressive/Marxists who are determined to rewrite the Second Amendment and get the guns. They are like demonic ants who swarm and single-mindedly pursue their desired outcome for the collective.

Right on cue, instead of backing up on their fascist Operation Choke Point agenda, the Left is doubling down with help of the opaque Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Under the auspices of Dodd-Frank last week, the CFPB passed a rule that was not publicized and was noticed even less. But, boy… it’s a whopper.

The rule gives the agency unprecedented power to shut down any business, no matter what the reason, at any time it wishes, through a cease-and-desist order. That’s right… no due process, no notice, no recourse… This rule literally puts any business under the thumb and at the whim of the CFPB. Once shut down, the business can’t go back into operation until they get the blessing of the government or a court ruling in their favor. By the time that happens, they’ll go under – a business could and would spend years in the judicial system. Stall and delay until death do us part.

Take a gander:

In a notice published in today’s Federal Register, the CFPB has announced that it has adopted its interim final rule on temporary cease-and-desist orders (C&Ds) without change. The final rule takes effect on July 18, 2014.

The CFPB is authorized to issue temporary C&Ds under Section 1053(c) of Dodd-Frank. That provision authorizes a temporary C&D as an adjunct to a cease-and-desist proceeding brought under Section 1053 against a covered person or service provider. A temporary C&D is effective immediately upon service and remains in effect unless modified or terminated administratively by the CFPB or set aside on judicial review.

This follows Operation Choke Point and is an addendum to those actions. From the United States Consumer Coalition comes a stark warning to businesses and what this could mean for them:

“This unprecedented rule created by the CFPB grants the agency unilateral authority to literally shut down any business overnight. It is a doubling down of Operation Choke Point (OCP), the Administration’s program to target lawful industries by intimidating banks from doing business with them. This rule allows the CFPB to immediately issue a cease-and-desist order, which terminates all business practices — and a hearing doesn’t have to be granted for 10 days, effectively shutting down businesses for at least 10 days. This is a ‘guilty until proven innocent’ tactic of the Administration that goes against every historical notion of justice under the law in America.”

“The Administration got caught with their illegal intimidation tactics in Operation Choke Point, and now they are taking radical steps to ensure the goals of shutting down these lawful businesses are met. This is just the next step in using unaccountable agencies, with their ever-expanding agency powers, to meet the political goals of the Administration. This is a much more efficient way of shutting down lawful industries than just relying on intimidation. It is also no coincidence that this rule was released the day that CFPB Director Richard Cordray finished testifying at oversight hearings on the Hill.”

“This is a direct attack on every free-market business in America, and every single business should be alarmed. No business should have to operate while questioning daily whether or not they will be the victim of a cease-and-desist order. This will cause uncertainty on Wall Street and uncertainty in the job market, leading to a loss of jobs and devastating the families that rely on them, while irreversibly damaging the economy and threatening consumer choice.”

This is the brazen use of political-style Chicago gangster tactics and a blatant violation of Constitutional rights. The rule can be opposed and overturned through legislation and oversight, but who really believes it will be any time soon?

This is another power grab using regulation. There is not a business out there that can afford to fight this for long and the government knows it. Get on Obama’s naughty list, get a cease-and-desist order, which is actually a business death certificate. It’s a death panel for small businesses and entrepreneurs if you are of the wrong political stripe. What do you want to bet that among the first casualties of this monstrosity will be gun organizations? Closely followed by Tea Party aligned businesses.

How much more will Americans take before saying enough? This has gone way beyond political differences and annoyance now. Hundreds of millions out there are now thoroughly pissed off – stopping them from feeding their families will make it explosive. Doubling down on Operation Choke Point may just strangle the Republic

It’s sickening to hear people – some I really respect – sounding so wrong about “the death” of the Tea Party and how badly they’re doing in the 2014 elections.

Sure, the trolls keep repeating it, but even in Republican circles I’m still hearing how the Tea Party has completely lost all influence in American politics and people are buying into it. To that I can only ask:

What are you, new?

When someone talks about the Tea Party being dead, or that “the brand” is damaged, or however the libs have managed to define it, you can bet it’s someone that doesn’t get out much.

Only folks sequestered in their basements, hospital rooms, DC offices or likewise have been sold this bill of goods. Get out into actual America and it’s the opposite, trust me. What these naysayers are yacking about are Tea Party “groups,” and who cares? What I care about is conservative voters. We are the Tea Party and these opportunistic groups aside, we’ve been busy kicking ass in 2014.

Enabling the Tea Party Downers’ ignorance as always are the media – ignoring the victories Tea Party voters are bringing this time around, despite us having to fight a three-front war against liberals, the media and the establishment GOP – bent on destroying the very people who put them in power.

Tea Party candidate Dan Bongino with his Obama bashing and damn Tea Party ideas just barely squeaked by his opponent, 84%- 16% in Maryland’s Sixth. Why is it newsworthy? Because it’s the only competitive district in Maryland for the GOP.

Didn’t hear about Dan’s landslide? That doesn’t surprise me, there was hardly a mention of him anywhere. He’s a former Secret Service Agent who claims Obama is corrupt and not qualified to lead the nation.

If Dan would have lost that badly, you think they would have reported a little something about the Tea Party boy getting whipped? Yeah. But do a google news search on his primary victory and…. yeah. No wonder you shut-ins think the Tea Party is dead, the NY Times, WaPo, HuffPo and all the other Po’s you read act like they’re dead.

Let’s jump right to Eric Cantor getting shellacked by Tea Party candidate David Brat. How many reports immediately sprang out announcing Brat was ignored by Tea Party groups? It’s true – but who cares? Brat was supported by Tea Party voters and this movement was never about groups.

The Tea Party is a true grass-roots movement no matter how they’ve lied to you about it being “astro-turf”, financed and contrived by the Koch Brothers or whatever. Stop being an idiot. If the Koch Brothers could invent a movement to shift political power such as the Tea Party did in 2010, don’t you think they’d have done it sooner and more often since then? Are you that stupid? Yes you are, so you need some more:

Ken Buck, Tea Party guy in Colorado in the 4th District wins the special election there – but is it news? If he would have came in last it would have been. So I’ll ask again – why do you say the Tea Party hasn’t won anything? Ben Sasse in Nebraska: Tea Party – BLAM! Alex Mooney in West Virginia: Tea Party – BLAM! There’s more –

How many Tea Party candidates have won elections in Texas this year? Too many BLAM!s to list, friendo. They’ve dominated and yet the Tea Party is dead? There are literally dozens of victories already this year in Texas for Tea Party candidates, including the ousting of America’s most senior Congressman, GOP establishment extraordinaire, Ralph Hall… Who?

“Ralph Hall!” I screamed at the media… He was beaten by Tea Party candidate “John Ratcliffe!” Wait – are you telling me that an incumbent Congressman got beat in a runoff election for the first time in 20 years – and by some Tea Party upstart, John Ratcliffe? That sounds like a story!

Well, not one that the mainstream press has any interest in. And not one that people hanging onto the dead Tea Party narrative are going to admit actually happened.

It happened my friends. Just like Tea Party guy Curt Clawson in Florida who cruised to victory in the 19th District in yet another special election ignored by the media and our buddies in Tea Party Denial Land.

Chris McDaniel is challenging the close results in Mississippi after the despicable Thad Cochran campaign. The media has taken the opportunity to use the Cochran re-election as an example of the Tea Party’s demise. If anything, doesn’t it show the strength of the Tea Party?

It’s hard to beat a guy that’s been in there for thirty or forty years – especially when millions come pouring in from decades of influence. And what about when scumbags from the left start supporting the GOP establishment candidate? Any idea what Cochran had to resort to in order to fend off Tea Party voters? McDaniel would have gotten trounced if the Tea Party were dead, so stop saying that.

No, we’re not winning like 2010 – but now we have the GOP establishment with the Chamber of Commerce, Mark Zuckerburg, Labor Unions, the evil Main Street Republican Partnership Super PAC and even George Soros money teamed up against us. So yeah, it’s hard out here for a pimp.

We’re losing some races – it’s true – but we’re not just winning a ton of them, we’re making this election about which candidate can be the most conservative. It’s forcing the GOP to admit they’re a bunch of Obama enablers. They’re exposed and they need to be beaten before we can do battle with the Maoists.

But to sit there and claim the Tea Party is dead because a couple of greedy and goofy-ass Tea Party “Groups” are backing the wrong horse here and there is just making you sound stupid. Get with the program, buddy – we’re still rolling and the general election is where we need to get it together.

Tea Party groups? Who cares? Tea Party candidates and voters? Not dead by a long shot, so quit saying it. Leave that to the wannabes.

Report: Mexican Military Chopper Crosses Into US, Shoots At Border Patrol Agents…

TUCSON, Ariz. (CBS Las Vegas) — Border Patrol agents in Arizona were reportedly fired upon by a Mexican military helicopter that traveled across the border.

KVOA-TV reports that Mexican authorities were conducting a drug interdiction operation when the incident happened early Thursday morning on the Tohono O’odham Indian Nation. The Mexican chopper fired at the agents and then flew back into Mexico.

Art del Cueto, Border Patrol Tucson Sector union president, tells KVOA that they called and apologized for the incident.

“The incident occurred after midnight and before 6 a.m. Helicopter flew into the U.S. and fired on two U.S. Border Patrol agents,” del Cueto said in a statement to KVOA. “The incident occurred west of the San Miguel Gate on the Tohono O’odham Indian Nation. The agents were unharmed. The helicopter went back into Mexico. Mexico then contacted U.S. authorities and apologized for the incident.”

Andy Adame, Border Patrol spokesperson, said that Mexican authorities fired two shots at the border agents.

“Two shots were fired from the helicopter but no injuries or damage to U.S. property were reported,” Adame told KVOA

“Are you buying any of this? I’m not, because this is not the first time Mexican Military has fired on Border Patrol agents. This is the first time they’ve fired out of a helicopter, but not the first time our Border Patrol has been assaulted with gun fire. Sounds like they are asking for a war. Obama? No, he is the “do-nothing” president. This is right out of the Cloward-Piven, Saul Alinsky playbooks.” JB

The United States is flying armed drones over Iraq, a senior U.S. Defense official confirmed to Fox News, though the aircraft are not being sent at this time to engage Sunni militant fighters.

Secretary of State John Kerry has been on a weeklong tour through the Middle East and Europe in pursuit of a diplomatic solution that could ease sectarian tensions. He was in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The Obama administration, meanwhile, has begun sending military advisers into Baghdad to help Iraqi security forces strategize against ISIS, which the State Department considers a terrorist group.

“That is what the State Department said about the Muslim Brotherhood, who is in bed with the Obama Administration, not to forget the 6 Muslim Brotherhood members of the Obama Administration. Based on that, it is understandable why the administration is only flying surveillance, not offensive. They do not want to fire on themselves. Anything coming out of the State Department is suspect.” JB

The drones are most likely being flown out of bases in surrounding countries, including possibly Turkey, though the drone pilots themselves may be U.S.-based.

Really? How about equal time for the Jewish faith? The Christian faith? The Hindu faith?

supremacism. Unlike Jewish law which pertains only to Jews, and Canon law which pertains only to Christians, the Sharia asserts its totalitarian authority over non-Muslims.

During the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, Jews fast from sun up to sundown. Nowhere and at no time has the idea of no one else eating been considered. Nor should it.

The idea that our servicemen men and women can have a coffee on their drive to work is outrageous and indicative of how far the West has gone in the norming of the sharia. Muslims eat a giant meal before sun-up but our boys and girls can’t have a coffee while we defend these countries in many cases? Supremacism and submission.

And it doesn’t stop there. Our soldiers (men and women) must wear long sleeve shirts. No alcohol or smoking is permitted and if all this wasn’t pathetic enough, soldiers are instructed to say “Ramadan Kareem.”

MANAMA, Bahrain — U.S. personnel accustomed to drinking their coffee on the drive to work will have to put that habit on hold for about a month. It’s one of a few lifestyle changes Americans will have to make during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Officials expect Ramadan to begin at sunrise on Saturday, depending on when the new moon is sighted. The holy month lasts for approximately 30 days — until about July 28. For Muslims around the world, Ramadan is a month of fasting and devotion to God. Most Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, when families gather for Iftar — the meal that breaks the fast.

For the 8,200 U.S. personnel living here, and those serving throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility — including service members, civilian personnel, contractors and family members — the month may require changing some daily routines.

Businesses and government offices will reduce hours and most restaurants will be closed during daylight hours.

While not required to fast during Ramadan, in Bahrain, Americans can be fined or detained by local authorities for eating, drinking or smoking in public when off-base during daylight hours.

Navy officials are requiring U.S. personnel to dress more conservatively off-base during Ramadan. Although not a requirement by Bahraini authorities, the Navy is demanding that men wear long-sleeved shirts and women wear sleeved blouses that cover their elbows. Also, men must wear long trousers, and women should wear pants or skirts that cover the knees.

Base cultural advisers have spent the last few weeks conducting Ramadan briefs to educate Americans about the holy month. Ali Hassan briefed about 150 personnel Tuesday about Islam, the lunar calendar and customs and traditions during Ramadan.

“It actually made me want to do a lot more research into the religion,” said Petty Officer 1st Class James Ramirez. He said the additional requirements during the month aren’t a big deal to him. “For such a small period of time, it’s a small sacrifice,” he said.

Other service members echoed that sentiment.

Hassan encouraged personnel to experience Iftar in a Ramadan tent, many of which are set up at various locations around Bahrain during the holy month and welcome non-Muslims.

“Make it a point to visit these tents while you’re here. You don’t know if you’ll ever come back to Bahrain in the future,” Hassan said during the brief.

While the tents offer a more traditional atmosphere, many restaurants put aside their regular menus during the month and serve special Iftar dinners.

Things to Know During Ramadan:

Eating, drinking, chewing and smoking in public are civil offenses in some Islamic countries.

Men should wear long sleeves and pants. Women’s sleeves should extend below the elbow and pants or skirts should cover the knees.

Avoid critical remarks about fasting or any religious practice.

Most restaurants will be closed except those in 4- and 5-star hotels.

Businesses alter and reduce hours during the day; some open at night until early morning hours.

Arabs are good hosts and may offer you food or refreshments during daylight hours. Such offers should be declined.

All consumption of alcohol by U.S. military personnel is prohibited at any off base public venue in the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility during Ramadan.

It’s customary to say ‘Ramadan Kareem’ during Ramadan.

That’s the message just expressed by Vice President Joe Biden to a group of about 100 people gathered at the Naval Observatory’s vice presidential mansion. He told the crowd that protecting gay rights is the defining mark of any civilized nation that this should supersede any national cultures or social traditions.

Biden’s words were:

“I don’t care what your culture is. Inhumanity is inhumanity is inhumanity. Prejudice is prejudice is prejudice.”

Is it inhumanity or prejudice to call a sinner a sinner? When God says that homosexuality is just as wrong as murder, is God being inhumane and prejudice?

Biden calls himself a practicing Roman Catholic. The official position of Rome, which may be changing under the leadership of their new liberal pope, is that homosexuality is a sin, just like murder, stealing, lying, coveting, fornication, adultery and blasphemy. Yet, Biden lied through his teeth during the 2012 presidential campaign, he supports murder (abortion), he steals from the US people (wasting tax dollars) and now he is saying that gay rights is more important than anyone’s Christian faith or national traditions.

Biden has been pushing gay rights within the Obama administration before Obama was. He has been instrumental in instructing all government agency officials to embrace gay rights in their departments and make them a priority.

Assisting Biden in his destruction of America and our Christian faith is Susan Rice, the White House National Security Adviser, who screwed up the Benghazi briefings. Rice says that gay rights is the civil rights issue of today not only here in the US but internationally as well.

Just this week, Rice stated:

“To achieve lasting global change, we need everyone’s shoulder at the wheel. With more voices to enrich and amplify the message — the message that gay rights are straight-up human rights — we can open more minds.”

“Governments are responsible for protecting the rights of all citizens, and it is incumbent upon the state, and on each of us, to foster tolerance and to reverse the tide of discrimination.”

Christians and conservatives be warned. This type of gay rights endorsement and advocacy will be the final straw that causes America to collapse. Every great nation in history that openly embraced homosexuality as Biden, Rice and Obama are soon collapsed from within.

God has already pulled His hand of blessing from our nation and is preparing our destruction as we speak. America has turned from a Christian nation who relied on God’s statutes to lead us into a nation of murdering babies, open sex and homosexuality. Our nation has turned to debauchery that God calls an abomination.

Men like Biden and Obama may think they are smarter and know more than God, but they don’t and they will lead us to certain destruction if Christians don’t start standing up for our rights and values. Christians need to do whatever possible to take back our nation before God takes it away from us forever!

I usually stay away from issues I feel are being over-covered; no sense in beating a dead horse. However, I’ve been watching the IRS scandal unfold and I’ve noticed some things the media and pretty much everyone else is leaving out. I can only assume the general public is not aware of these issues and it’s very critical that we become educated.

First of all, everyone should know that the IRS is THE most powerful, unchecked law enforcement agency in the country. Yes, that’s right, they are a law enforcement agency and yes their field agents are armed just like any other federal agent would be. This of course would explain the rumors you’ve heard of the IRS buying up ammunition. Here are some facts you need to know.

The agency can seize all of your assets, freeze your bank accounts, even put liens on every bit of your property. Here’s the scary part…there is no due process here. They don’t need a warrant, they don’t need to jump through any legal hoops, it can be done simply with keystroke by any agent looking into your file. It’s completely at their discretion and you would have absolutely no legal recourse.

Ok, that one may not shock you, but this should…any field agent can come to your home, enter without permission, whether you’re there or not, conduct a search, seize anything they deem appropriate and once again, there is NO due process. They don’t need a search warrant, no legalities to deal with, nothing but the discretion of the agent and once again, you would have absolutely no legal recourse. That means you could be sitting in your living room watching TV and the door could open and IRS agents could come in and take your TV, or anything else they wanted for that matter. There would be nothing you could do about it. Of course they don’t make habit of this, I’m sure they would prefer that no one knew they had the ability to do so, but they do, and it’s all perfectly legal.

Now I don’t think that there’s anyone in the country who believes this story about the lost emails. I mean really, most of us have had at least one catastrophic computer crash, either at home or work, and have not lost two years of emails. The idea that we would believe this is simply insane. As a former investigator I can tell you there is only one reason for a person to plead the 5th, and that reason is that they are guilty of something. There is no doubt that there’s corruption in the agency…period. The question is, how widespread is it? How far up does it go? How far will they go to cover it up?

Our government is one of precedent. That means that if they get away with this cover up, they’ll do it again, and again, and again, and it will be accepted because the precedent has been set.

No matter what your political affiliation, this should scare the pants off you. This time it was conservatives, but what about next time? If you’re a liberal or a Democrat who is getting some satisfaction out of the targeting of conservatives, be careful what you wish for, political winds change rapidly. What will you do when there’s a conservative in the White House and YOU become the target? It’s sure to happen sooner or later and the precedent will already be set.

This issue shouldn’t fall along party lines. We must get to the bottom of this scandal one way or another. We should also put legislation in place limiting the power of the agency. To have a single government agency with so much power is just too threatening to the American way of life. They’ve gotten away with it so far by keeping it quiet, keeping YOU from knowing just what they’re capable of. It really has to be stopped.

Keep in mind that this corrupt, all powerful agency, will now also be in charge of the healthcare of the entire nation.

Hopefully the cat’s out of the bag for the IRS now and through this scandal we’ll put a stop to them before it’s too late, but I have my doubts. I fear this goes all the way to the top and very little will come of it.

Well, on that note, sleep tight tonight, your government is in control

How to Fight the GOP Establishment’s Worst Treachery Yet

What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence.

It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. But that’s exactly what the Kamikaze pilots running the GOP did. As a result, Chris McDaniel won Republican voters handily on Tuesday, but still lost the run-off statewide thanks to a 43% increase among voters in counties President Obama received at least two-thirds of the vote in 2012.

In other words, the GOP establishment used Obama/Alinsky race-baiting tactics against their own base, in order to drive out to the polls in a GOP primary the same low-information-voters that put and kept this Marxist in the White House (which I document here). An unpardonable sin considering there is no reason to go scorched earth against your own base in solidly Republican state except to send a message.

That message is this: if you threaten our corporatist gravy train we will go harder after you then we ever have Democrats.

Now that the message has been sent, there will not be an Appomattox moment in this conflict, when the two sides come back together after one of them has proven his point. The end result of this conflict will either be the defeat of the occupying army (the establishment) or conservatives will Dunkirk (bolt the GOP en masse). I say this not as someone who advocates a third party, although I’m asked about it frequently. My typical response to the question is “I’d like to see what a second party looks like first.”

But as Erick Erickson at Red State pointed out this week, it’s become clear those of us who still cling to the principles in the party platform have become the “Republicans in Name Only.” The old Reagan coalition is still there in population, but it no longer exists as a presence within the GOP. Years of betraying its base has put the GOP establishment in a bind. They can’t raise money off their base anymore, so they have to raise the money it takes to remain in power from corporatist lobbyists. Except pursuing the policy aims of those corporatist lobbyists enrages the base all the more, and the vicious cycle of dysfunction continues.

Thus, the GOP is now a shaky coalition of corporatists and constitutionalists. A coalition that is growing shakier by the day, because these two sides aren’t having a mere debate about tactics and issue priorities. They have different values altogether. A point the establishment drives home every time they say and do worse things to us than they would ever say and do to Democrats. For they have more in common with Democrats than they do us.

So what do we about it?

At this point developing a credible third party is a Herculean chore legally and financially. That is probably a generational event given the monopoly the two-party plutocracy has created. Nonetheless, organically and spontaneously we are heading down that road one way or another. It’s just a matter of how long it takes and which side leaves to form it.

However, liberty in America likely doesn’t have time for a generational event to transpire. We are now debating existential questions as a people that are beyond the traditional left-of-center, right-of-center debate the two parties have been having since the New Deal. Today’s Democrat Leaders are no longer bleeding-heart liberals but hard Leftists. They’re Social Reconstructionists with Marxist tendencies.

Meanwhile, the base of the GOP is growing more conservative and libertarian in response to this new ideological threat. We recognize we cannot negotiate with the New Left, but must defeat it. The problem is the GOP establishment often acts as a de facto human shield for these Statists, so we rarely get a clear shot at them on a national stage. Between now and the 2016 election cycle I recommend a two-point plan to try and tip the scales in our favor.

1. Don’t vote for anymore corporatist Republicans in red states/districts.

All these people do is take the power of incumbency and nullify our movement with our votes. Solidly red states/districts ought to be represented by movement conservatives without exception. If they’re not, we have learned the hard way we’re no longer choosing “the lesser of two evils.” We’re choosing people who will score points repeatedly for the other team while wearing our uniform. We cannot defeat the Democrats until we defeat the GOP establishment, and we can’t do that until we stop empowering them.

2. Coalesce early behind the non-establishment presidential candidate with the broadest conservative appeal.

The easiest path to taking control of the GOP is to have a standard-bearer atop the hierarchy that empowers the grassroots. To make that happen, we need to get that person elected president. To make that happen, we need to get that person the GOP nomination. To make that happen, we need to find an articulate person with charisma and convictions who appeals to a full spectrum of the conservative base—otherwise we splinter as we have the past few primary cycles. And then we need to coalesce behind this person early enough to give them a chance to win the nomination.

If we aren’t successful in implementing this plan, I believe we will see the GOP implode shortly after losing again in 2016. Look at what happened in York, Pennsylvania, earlier this year for an example of what will come next.

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a 35-foot protest-free zone outside abortion clinics in Massachusetts.

The justices were unanimous in ruling that extending a buffer zone 35 feet from clinic entrances violates the First Amendment rights of protesters.

Chief Justice John Roberts said authorities have less intrusive ways to deal with problems outside the clinics and noted that most of the problems reported by police and the clinics occurred outside the Planned Parenthood facility in Boston, and only on Saturdays when the largest crowds typically gather.

“For a problem shown to arise only once a week in one city at one clinic, creating 35-foot buffer zones at every clinic across the Commonwealth is hardly a narrowly tailored solution,” Roberts said.

While the court was unanimous in the outcome, Roberts joined with the four liberal justices to strike down the buffer zone on narrow grounds. In a separate opinion, Justice Antonin Scalia criticized Roberts’ opinion for carrying forward “this court’s practice of giving abortion-rights advocates a pass when it comes to suppressing the free-speech rights of their opponents.”

The case began when Boston-area grandmother Eleanor McCullen and other abortion opponents sued over the limits on their activities at Planned Parenthood health centers in Boston, Springfield and Worcester. At the latter two sites, the protesters say they have little chance of reaching patients arriving by car because they must stay 35 feet from the entrance to those buildings’ parking lots.

Planned Parenthood provides health exams for women, cancer screenings, tests for sexually transmitted diseases, birth control and abortions at its clinics.

The organization said that the buffer zone has significantly reduced the harassment of patients and clinic employees. Before the 35-foot zone went into effect in 2007, protesters could stand next to the entrances and force patients to squeeze by, Planned Parenthood said.

Before 2007, a floating buffer zone kept protesters from approaching unwilling listeners any closer than 6 feet if they were within 18 feet of the clinic. The floating zone was modeled after a Colorado law that the Supreme Court upheld. That decision was not called into question in Thursday’s ruling.

Clinic officials said they are most concerned about safety because of past incidents of violence. In 1994, a gunman killed two receptionists and wounded five employees and volunteers at a Planned Parenthood facility and another abortion clinic in nearby Brookline. The most recent killing was in 2009, when Dr. George Tiller, who performed abortions, was shot in a church in Wichita, Kansas.

Abortion protesters said that other state and federal laws already protect health center workers and patients, as well as access to clinics.

Mark Rienzi, who represented the protesters at the Supreme Court, said, “The government cannot reserve its public sidewalks for Planned Parenthood, as if their message is the only one women should be allowed to hear. Today’s decision confirms that the First Amendment is for everyone, and that the government cannot silence peaceful speakers. That result is good news for Eleanor McCullen, and it is great news for the women she helps.”

The Supreme Court delivered a blow Thursday to President Obama, ruling that he went too far in making recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board.

In a unanimous decision, (Did you get that? UNANIMOUS. – JB) the high court sided with Senate Republicans and limited the president’s power to fill high-level vacancies with temporary appointments. It was the first-ever Supreme Court test involving the long-standing practice of presidents naming appointees when the Senate is on break.

In this case, Obama had argued that the Senate was on an extended holiday break when he filled slots at the NLRB in 2012. He argued the brief sessions it held every three days were a sham that was intended to prevent him from filling the seats.

The justices rejected that argument, though, declaring the Senate was not actually in a formal recess when Obama acted during that three-day window.

Justice Stephen Breyer said in his majority opinion that a congressional break has to last at least 10 days to be considered a recess under the Constitution.

“Three days is too short a time to bring a recess within the scope of the Clause. Thus we conclude that the President lacked the power to make the recess appointments here at issue,” Breyer wrote.

At the same time, the court upheld the general authority of the president to make recess appointments.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, among those who criticized the president for unilaterally filling the NLRB slots, applauded the high court decision on Thursday.

“The president made an unprecedented power grab by placing political allies at a powerful federal agency while the Senate was meeting regularly and without even bothering to wait for its advice and consent,” he said in a statement. “A unanimous Supreme Court has rejected this brazen power-grab.”

On a separate track, House Speaker John Boehner said a day earlier he plans to proceed with a lawsuit against the president over his alleged abuse of executive power.

Reacting to the Supreme Court decision on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the administration is “deeply disappointed” in the ruling. He said that while the administration disagrees with the decision, it will honor it.

The issue of recess appointments receded in importance after the Senate’s Democratic majority changed the rules to make it harder for Republicans to block confirmation of most Obama appointees.

But the ruling’s impact may be keenly felt by the White House next year if Republicans capture control of the Senate in the November election. The potential importance of the ruling lies in the Senate’s ability to block the confirmation of judges and the leaders of independent agencies like the NLRB. A federal law gives the president the power to appoint acting heads of Cabinet-level departments to keep the government running.

Still, the outcome could have been worse for the administration. The justices, by a 5-4 vote, rejected a sweeping lower court ruling against the administration that would have made it virtually impossible for any future president to make recess appointments.

The lower court held that the only recess recognized by the Constitution is the once-a-year break between sessions of Congress. It also said that only vacancies that arise in that recess could be filled. So the high court has left open the possibility that a president, with a compliant Congress, could make recess appointments in the future.

The case decided Thursday arose out of a dispute between the NLRB and a Pepsi-Cola distributor, Noel Canning. The NLRB had ruled against him in a labor dispute, but Canning argued that three of the five board members were improperly appointed.

A recess appointment can last no more than two years. Recess appointees who subsequently won Senate confirmation include Chief Justice Earl Warren and Justice William Brennan, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, two current NLRB members and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau director Richard Cordray. Former UN Ambassador John Bolton is among recess appointees who left office because they could not win a Senate vote.

President Obama is under fire for aggressively using executive orders to provide amnesty to illegal alien minors and enact other liberal policies, but Department of Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson indicated in a Tuesday hearing he understands in principle that Congress writes the laws, not Obama.

“Last time I looked an executive order can’t supersede the law,” Johnson said.

Johnson made his remarks during a Congressional hearing on the current crisis of unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border.

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) questioned Johnson about the U.S. government sending the children to the Department of Health and

Johnson pointed out that the law required government officials to do so, in spite of the current crisis.

Rogers asked if Obama would consider issuing an executive order to supersede the law. But Johnson refused to consider the option.

According to a report by the Associated Press, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen stated, “I have the ability to say I have seen no evidence of any crime.” The clear retort to that assertion is simple: then why has now retired IRS employee Lois Lerner invoked the Fifth Amendment twice?

People only plead the Fifth if they can potentially incriminate themselves — in other words, because of criminal actions. It is unconscionable that a government agency, the Internal Revenue Service — actually the Obama administration — would think the American people so gullible to believe that the hard drives of seven individuals under investigation would all simultaneously crash, losing all emails and there is not a “smidgen of corruption” — nothing criminal?

The real issue is not the IRS scandal in and of itself, or actually any isolated scandal – because there are too many to count at this point. The issue is the abject arrogance of officialdom exhibited by the Obama administration as aided by the complicit liberal progressive media — and the über-partisan ignorance of the progressive socialist acolytes.

As Tom Blumer writes for PJ Media, “the sheer volume of serious Obama administration scandals seems to comprise a Cloward-Piven attempt to overwhelm opponents. With so many scandals out there, no single outrage can generate concerted, sufficiently visible opposition.” Every day we are left to wonder if it can get any worse. And so far, it has.

The far Left controls the Democrat party, and spare me all the right-wing drivel as America was founded upon constitutional conservative principles and values. It is evident the Left believes it shall forever be in charge in America and hence acts with unbelievable impunity with no regard for the consequences of its actions. The complete disregard of our Constitution and the implementation of rule by executive and regulator fiat demonstrates the progressive socialist Left’s drive towards its agenda – and the failures present themselves daily.

Liberals need to ask themselves, if this were a Republican administration, what would be your response? Those on the Left are setting themselves up to have absolutely no credibility and integrity. They are operating under their radical premise of “by any means necessary.”

Consider the change to the time-honored “filibuster” rule in the Senate, which affords rights to the minority party — what happens when the GOP wins the Senate in 2014? Will Harry Reid enact all the possible agenda items and judiciary appointments he can before changing it back? Of course, if a new Republican Senate Majority leader were to do as Reid did, the liberal progressives’ heads would explode — and it would be all over the media.

And what would happen if a Republican president acted unilaterally and through executive order and regulatory fiat to implement a legislative agenda — such as Obama has done with immigration and the EPA? What would be said if a Republican president violated the separation of powers and arbitrarily waived, delayed and exempted certain portions of law to meet his or her own political agenda — you can bet the New York Times would go nuts.

The larger issue at hand here is liberal progressive hypocrisy and the recognition of the level of thuggery, corruption, intimidation and coercion they will use to rule and stay in power. It cannot be debated, in the case of the IRS scandal, a government agency turned its power against American citizens who opposed an ideological agenda.

Americans possess a First Amendment right to “petition their government for redress of grievances.” Progressives punished Americans for exercising their rights — Lois Lerner is rewarded with a six-figure taxpayer-funded retirement for exercising her Fifth Amendment right.

Liberal progressives have lost the moral high ground because of their belief that the rule of law does not apply to them. The liberal media has lost all credibility in providing cover for the lawlessness of the Obama administration.

The liberals will not complete construction of the “city of no consequence” — their hypocrisy is exposed and they will be held accountable and responsible for their attempt at the fundamental destruction of our Constitutional Republic.

Once again, the “religion of peace” demonstrates its true colors — and please don’t give me the line of a few individuals perverting Islam. A few days ago, two Muslim men in Texas were arrested on jihad terror charges.

As reported by ABCnews.com, the two men were separately charged with terror-related offenses after federal agents said they planned to travel halfway around the world to engage in violent jihad. One of the men, a Bangladesh-born U.S. citizen named Rahatul Ashikim Khan, allegedly wanted to join al-Shabab, a Somalia-based terror group linked to al-Qaida. For the other, Michael Todd Wolfe from Houston, learning to fight in Syria was allegedly the goal.

Anyone who doesn’t believe we have a problem with homegrown jihadis in America is delusional.

wanted to “perform a violent form of jihad” outside of the United States. She said Wolfe “just wants to hop into Syria. He’s just ready to die for his deen [religion]. He’s ready to die for someone, for something,” court documents say.

Over several months, another undercover FBI agent met with Wolfe, and they discussed Wolfe’s plans for going overseas, according to the court documents. On Jan. 22, both undercover FBI agents met with Wolfe and his wife, and Wolfe “indicated that he had learned that al-Qaida in Syria was training brothers from other countries (foreign fighters) and then sending those fighters back from Syria to their home countries to conduct terror attacks,” the FBI says in court documents.

This is the larger concern about ISIS and its Islamic caliphate — just yesterday the head of the FBI acknowledged that some 100 Americans could be part of the ISIS army. What is even more egregious is this: the couple was planning to use some of their estimated $5,000 tax refund to pay for their travel, prosecutors say.

Khan became a U.S. citizen in 2002 and is a full-time student at University of Texas-Austin (a very liberal school), which is now on summer recess. According to charging documents in his case, in early 2011, Khan began communicating with an informant in an online chat room, which he used “as a platform to spot and assess potential recruits for committing violent jihad overseas.”

Khan introduced the informant to an unidentified co-conspirator, possibly in Florida — and we know an American from Florida detonated himself in a suicide bomb attack in Syria recently — who then attempted to recruit the informant to travel to Somalia to engage in jihad there, prosecutors say in court documents. The co-conspirator then introduced the informant to another person, also likely in Florida, who discussed how Khan could get to Somalia to join the terrorist group al-Shabab.

In June 2011, Khan told the informant that his brain “starts bleeding” when he sees weak “Bengalis” who have “no love for jihad” and “no love to shed blood,” authorities allege.

The arrests come a month after the Justice Department asked a special prosecutor in its National Security Division to help lead U.S. efforts aimed at stemming the flow of American fighters to the civil war in Syria.

This is the jihadist version of “coexist” and I believe somehow it is different from the bumper sticker slogan on those Prius cars. The time for political correctness is gone — when tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide. It also allows the enemy to walk amongst us, masquerading as a religion and affording themselves benefits in order to kill us.

Mexican soldiers are crossing the border into American and firing on United States citizens. Tucson based KVOA reported on this alarming trend earlier this year. Not only are these Mexican Army soldiers firing on American citizens, they are also challenging federal agents and border patrol. (Watch Video Below)

In January, soldiers from this lonely outpost of the Mexican Army drew their guns on U.S. Border Patrol agents just 50 yards into the United States. Then in March, they opened fire on Javier Jose Rodriguez, a young Tucson man visiting family in Sásabe when he was driving around the town early on a Saturday morning after drinking beers with friends. Rodriguez was shot in the arm and in the side, he spent three weeks at University of Arizona Medical Center.

These are but two instances of Mexican soldiers crossing the border, an act that has reportedly happened at least 300 times over the last 18 years. The federal government has had no real response to this troubling and dangerous trend. Although Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn requested answers from Homeland Security this Mexican Army invasion and attacks in early February, to date he has received no response.

Robert Ayers, a resident of Arivaca, describes the frightening experience that he had with Mexican soldiers who appeared late one night, landing in a helicopter behind his barn. Ayers said several men emerged from the helicopter, clad in black. The men were in full body armor, wearing masks over the faces and carried what appeared to be full automatic weapons.

Art del Cueto, President of the Border Patrol’s union in the Tucson Sector, Local 2544 said, “I mean, it’s very nerve-wracking. A lot of these encounters happen in the middle of the night where, you know, the lighting is low and you don’t know who you’re encountering. You’re sitting there and seeing a group of guys coming up to you and they’re all carrying long-arms, you don’t know what you’re encountering.” Cueto continued saying, “When you see our own government putting more emphasis on the rights of individuals who are in this country illegally already instead of trying to help out the agents and seeing these intrusions and taking them seriously, it’s very frustrating.”

This cartoon stands alone without any assisting verbiage. If you aren’t appalled at this Administration’s utter failure at everything excepting spawning a scandal-a-week you need your head examined. Before it is removed while the President sits idly by.

The shameful story of the aftermath of our abandonment of Iraq was as predictable as it is sad. I just hope the rumors of mass be-headings are just the media attempting to improve their ratings. (It’s the sort of thing they would do.) But we all know that these sort of atrocities are just what our terrorist (I hope the use of the word doesn’t offend your president too deeply) enemies have promised and seem to revel in. Strangely, they draw authority for such acts from their holy book. And since this is still a free republic (where even the logically enfeebled get to vote) and a place where ideas can freely compete for supremacy, I feel a little comparison of fundamental ideas is needed. Let’s compare the world view held by people who claim their thinking is informed and shaped by Islam and those whose thinking is shaped by that ancient and all time best seller, the Bible. As you can probably guess, my opinion is already set as to which is better.

The reason I think it is appropriate at this time for such a compare/contrast session is because your president said early on that “the future cannot belong to those who insult the Prophet of Islam.” (Sounds as if his opinion is/was already set, also, doesn’t it?) I don’t know what he meant when he said “insult” but, we are seeing what the “future” he spoke about is starting to look like.

The trouble with people like Obama is they do not recognize “evil” except in the bland and vague sense they use when they refer to those who disagree with them. Evil exists. It is powerful and persuasive. There is a great unseen war always in progress between it and Good. How can you hope to be victorious against evil when you don’t even know what it is. This goes much deeper, but this is the stuff of theologians and I’m seriously out of my depth. Besides all you ever need to know about evil is available in plain lay language in the Bible. As Twain said, “It’s not those parts of the Bible I don’t understand that trouble me, but those that I do.” Or as WC Fields once said when asked why he was reading the Bible, “What am I doing? Looking for loopholes. Looking for loopholes.”

That’s one of the troubles with Obama and people like him. But while briefly comparing his world view of his Prophet (and the “future” he has in store for those who do the insulting) and the Bible we should not commit the blunder many commit by dismissing the Bible because of its “flaws.” The things usually complained of about the Bible is usually about the flawed practitioners of its teachings, not the actual teachings. Two completely different things.

And don’t make the mistake of dismissing the Ancient Book because it contains things you find offensive. It does contain such things as child sacrifice, murder, adultery, theft, covetousness, slavery, etc. These offensive things which appear in the Bible are mentioned as historic occurrences and are invariably denounced as being evil, wrong and offensive (most particularly to God). These evil things are not espoused but condemned by the Bible and Its Author. Stoning of homosexuals, stoning of wives who have been performing their wifely duties poorly by their hubby’s standards, stoning of persons who hold the Christian faith in Muslim countries, mutilation of infant females and other such niceties are not specifically condemned by the Bible, but the simple application of life principles contained therein does condemn such practices.

( I always wonder exactly what kind of “due process” is afforded those who who fall victim to such practices and penalties under Islam.)

There are many other ways we could compare these two world views, but most Americans are incapable of doing so. They have been

dumbed down and cowed by politically correctness and the warped idea of the fabled “wall of separation” between Church and state, which has convinced Americans that “religion” is something that has little to say to modern people. It is something that should be tucked away in some innocuous pigeon hole and never consulted. This is very wrong. As Jesus said, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” What is inside will always come out.

So in the great debate of ideas you eventually have to make up your mind as to which Book is better.

I believe Obama has made up his mind. And most of our leaders have been dumbed down by political correctness, which is the ugly sister of the “wall of separation” idea.

Not far off the topic, I am suddenly reminded of a pal who was proud of his “atheism” and always stated that if he found he was wrong when he died he was “gonna’ sock God on the jaw when they met.” Those weren’t his exact words. But I spare you his juvenile threats against the Maker of Heaven and Earth. That kind of stuff made my flesh creep, but not nearly so much as when I learned he had died one afternoon ignominiously between his master bathroom and bed. All these things going wrong in America today aren’t nearly as creepy or frightful as when I was informed of his death. If he made good on all his boasts about his atheism he is in hell now.

If the above all seems a bit disjointed it is because the idea of Eternity looming invisibly in front of us all is itself jarring and hard to ignore. If you have ignored it until now, stop. In the second chapter of Colossians it says “And you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your heart, but He hath quickened you together with Him having forgiven you all trespasses….” Avail yourself of that Promise today and don’t distress me or your other friends by passing into Eternity bereft of God’s forgiveness. Check it out. I might be making this stuff up. See if you can find any such Promise of Hope nearly so bright in all of Islam. Life is real and nothing to be trifled with or wasted.

la la It’s official…LA IS La-La Land. In a frenzied attempt to prove their “diversity”, the Los Angeles City Council adopted a resolution on Wednesday recognizing the contributions of the Muslim American community and declared July 2014 as Muslim American Heritage Month.

Seriously, people…put down the Bong and back away, slowly…

This decision begs the question: Was everyone on the LA City Council conscious during this vote?

Not only has the Islamic community NOT contributed to the United States in any beneficial way, BUT they have not benefited freedom NOR humanity since the inception of Islam in the 7th Century.

A blood-thirsty ideology, started by a tyrannical politician (Muhammed), who…not unlike the world despots today…destroyed all his non-supporters. His devout followers today follow ever-so-carefully in his bloody footsteps. Obedient to the words of the Quran, the Hadiths (sayings of the prophet) and the Sunnah (practices of the prophet)…these religious zealots commit some of the most heinous acts in the world today. The list of acts by Muhammed’s minions is interminable (because it has never ceased). According to The Religion Of Peace, Islamic terrorists have carried out more that 23,000 deadly terror attacks since 9-11 (see link for complete list or click on the image to the Left). And THAT does not include kidnappings, child marriages, female genital mutilations, sex slavery, floggings, privation, etc…which sores into the millions.

Was this what LA’s City Council was thinking about when they declared a month for Islam?

It’s ostensible that the Leftists in CA are obsessed with proving to the world that they are fair, tolerant and generous to all (well, all those who either agree with them or are deemed not as “evolved” as they and needing care). But to laud an ideology that has brought destitution, fear, disease, imprisonment, slavery, destruction and death wherever they plant their barbaric behinds, is not only feckless to the freedoms we treasure…but pernicious to our national security.

John Quincy Adams (for the Left: He was our 6th President) described the Quran in one of his essays as follows:

“The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.”

And quoting a Muslim Scholar from the 14th century, Ibn Khaldoun, clarifying that holy war is the duty of every Muslim. From his famed work, Muqaddimah: “In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the (Muslim) mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force.”

There is nothing honorable about this ideology. What has been exhibited…historically by its founder, and today by its followers…is a hateful, intolerant system that seeks to annihilate those who oppose it.

So, to the REST of LA: I believe you are much more intelligent and humane than those on this council. For the sake of democracy and freedom…prove me right and condemn this proclamation.

It’ll be a step in the right direction.

Sudan charges Christian mom with using phony travel documents

Ibrahim was detained in Khartoum Tuesday as she tried to leave the country with what Sudanese security officials described as “improper documents.”

The Christian mom freed after being sentenced to death in Sudan is back in a Khartoum lockup for allegedly using phony documents in a bid to flee the Islamic nation.

Meriam Ibrahim, who gave birth in prison after being sentenced to death in May for allegedly converting from Islam to Christianity, was detained with her husband, Daniel Wani, at Khartoum airport Tuesday as she tried to leave the country. Although sources close to her legal team said she is being held at Khartoum police station, Seif Yasin, spokesman for the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, told FoxNews.com that Ibrahim is “free to leave Sudan, she just has to do it legally.”

“It is regrettable and disturbing that some elements attempted to bring Meriam to U.S by issuing her an entry visa on a fraudulent traveling document obtained from a foreign country (for a woman the whole world knows … is [a] Sudanese national ),” Yasin said in a statement. “That is inexcusable and unnecessary violations for all laws and regulations, including U.S. ones. The same legal system that protects her right and secures her freedom is capable of guaranteeing her right to leave the country whenever the legal procedure comes to an end.”

The U.S. State Department said Tuesday the detention was temporary and that American diplomats were working with their Sudanese counterparts to free Ibrahim, but a post on the Facebook page of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Services’ media department indicated the charges are considered serious in the Muslim nation.

“The airport passport police arrested Abrar after she presented emergency travel documents issued by the South Sudanese Embassy and carrying an American visa,” read the post, referring to Ibrahim by her Muslim family name. “The Sudanese authorities considered [the action] a criminal violation, and the Foreign Ministry summoned the American and South Sudanese ambassadors.”

“This is an example of the tyranny President Obama and his Leftist/Marxist/Socialist Saul Alinsky/Cloward-Pevin ideologies are pushing America towards. Is this getting you more convinced that we have the fight of our lives to get our founders America back?” JB

The travel document Ibrahim produced at the airport, an image of which was obtained by FoxNews.com, appears to have been issued by South Sudan, the largely Christian nation that seceded from Sudan in 2011 and is now at sharp odds with Khartoum. Alan Goulty, the former UK ambassador to Sudan and a Global Fellow for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, said Wani, who holds U.S. citizenship, is from South Sudan, which could explain that nation’s diplomatic involvement.

Al-Sharif Ali, a member of her legal team, told FoxNews.com Ibrahim was arrested in a show of force that included dozens of agents from the National Intelligence and Security Service. A source close to Ibrahim’s family said she is still being held, contrary to reports that she was freed.

“As of this morning, she was still being held at the police station,” he said. “Her lawyer was able to finally see her.”

On Wednesday, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf was again questioned about the case but declined to go into detail. She strongly denied that the U.S. played any role in providing improper paperwork to Ibrahim.

“With all we know about the Islam support of the Obama Administration, and John Kerry trying to make nice with the Muslim Brotherhood, I can’t trust anything that any State Department spokes person says about anything.” JB

“I can’t comment a lot more on the specifics of her travel documents,” Harf said. “Obviously we’re working with her and her family and the government of Sudan to try and get everything in proper order so she can and her family departs swiftly.”

“It’s very much our position that they need to be able to depart Sudan quickly. I don’t have any more details on what their travel will look like,” She added during the briefing. “So, we clearly care about this very deeply…and are working very hard to resolve it.”

Supporters of Ibrahim say they won’t feel she is safe until she is out of the war-torn nation.

“We’re encouraged that the State Department is engaged and working to secure the freedom of Meriam and her family,” said Jordan Sekulow, executive director of the American Center for Law and Justice, which gathered more than 300,000 signatures for an online petition demanding Ibrahim’s freedom. “Whether Meriam and her family have been ‘temporarily detained’ or arrested, holding U.S. citizens against their will is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. It has always been our concern that the only way the Ibrahim family could be truly safe is to leave Sudan.”

Ibrahim, 27, refused to renounce her Christian faith in court in May, prompting a judge to sentence her to hang for apostasy. The case became an international cause, with several U.S. lawmakers and the State Department blasting the decision as barbaric. Sudan’s national news service SUNA said the Court of Cassation in Khartoum on Monday canceled the death sentence after defense lawyers presented their case, and that the court ordered her release.

Ibrahim and Wani were married in a formal ceremony in 2011 and operate several businesses, including a farm, south of Khartoum, the country’s capital.

Wani fled to the United States as a child to escape the civil war in southern Sudan, but later returned. He is not permitted to have custody of his son because the boy is considered Muslim and cannot be raised by a Christian man.

Ibrahim’s case first came to the attention of authorities in August, after members of her father’s family complained that she was born a Muslim but married a Christian man. The relatives claimed her birth name was “Afdal” before she changed it to Meriam and produced a document that indicated she was given a Muslim name at birth. Her attorney has alleged the document was a fake.

Ibrahim says her mother was an Ethiopian Christian and her father a Muslim who abandoned the family when she was a child. Ibrahim was initially charged with having illegitimate sex last year, but she remained free pending trial. She was later charged with apostasy and jailed in February after she declared in court that Christianity was the only religion she knew.

“I was never a Muslim,” she told the Sudanese high court. “I was raised a Christian from the start.”

Sudan’s penal code criminalizes the conversion of Muslims to other religions, which is punishable by death. Muslim women in Sudan are further prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, although Muslim men are permitted to marry outside their faith. Children, by law, must follow their father’s religion

Kurdish Soldiers: ISIS Close to Surrounding Baghdad

While Iraqi government officials continue to claim that they are making advances in defeating the jihadist group Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), Kurdish forces on the ground report that ISIS has begun to slowly isolate Baghdad, targeting cities in the Sunni north as well as Shi’ite south.

An extensive McClatchy report quotes several Kurdish military leaders who are significantly concerned that Baghdad could fall to ISIS. At least two critical towns that hold a supply route to Baghdad have been captured, they reported, and ISIS appeared to be traveling south to capture routes on the other side of the capital.

Jabbar Yawar, the spokesman for the Kurdish peshmerga militia, told McClatchy that ISIS was reportedly six miles from Baghdad at times. “This area controls access to southern Iraq, and it appears as if they might try to push into Baghdad or even south towards the city of Hilla,” he stated.

ISIS moving south of Baghdad is significant because of strongholds they already possess in Anbar province, to the west, and their initiatives to control the north. They have also been moving ISIS jihadists east to attempt to cut off the remaining roads to the city.

The Kurdish peshmerga forces reportedly are the biggest force standing between ISIS and a complete control of Iraq, as many Iraqi soldiers have either been killed in mass executions or deserted. Kurdish areas have remained largely in peace, and ISIS has rarely clashed with peshmerga forces directly. Nonetheless, the Kurdish forces appear to have little interest in collaborating with the government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, instead aiming to sever their territory from Iraqi sovereignty.

The Iraqi government has largely denied many of ISIS’s gains in the country. According to CNN, the Iraqi government claims they still control the nation’s largest oil refinery in Baiji after reports surfaced that ISIS jihadists had taken it over. Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani said in a statement that the Iraqi army is not in full control of the oil refinery but continues to fight and is slowly encircling it. Iraqi state media also claims the army has killed the jihadist allegedly leading the attack on Baiji, Abu Qutada.

Kurdish leaders told McClatchy that they, too, were told Iraqi forces were still fighting in Baiji and had not fully lost control of the refinery.

While the Kurds continue to fight ISIS and remain the most organized and feared military in Iraq, the United States government is urging Kurdish leaders to abandon dreams of sovereignty. During a visit to Iraqi Kurdistan this week, Secretary of State John Kerry urged Kurdish leaders to promote national unity and participate in the Iraqi government.

There is without a doubt a crisis brewing in Iraq, but you’d never know it based on the actions of President Obama. Ol’ “No-Drama-Obama” made a worthless speech to the press on his way to a helicopter whisking him away for a nice trip to North Dakota – and oh yeah, more golf. Meanwhile Russian separatists, supported by Vladimir Putin, shot down a Ukrainian military transport plane killing nearly 50. But no big deal, Obama had a Democrat fundraiser to attend.

There is lots of speculation about what is happening in Iraq, but it’s clear the responsibility of these events fall squarely in the lap of two men:

Obama sided with campaign promises and not strategic policy. Al-Maliki sided with his Shiite sentiments and did not seek to unify Iraq. Obama did not press the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) and al-Maliki acted belligerently — that cannot be debated, and Faoud Ajami does a great job in explaining that in his Wall Street Journal article.

But with all that aside, we are we now? Who is the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (also referred to as Levant), ISIS/L? And what do we do about ti?

First it starts with understanding who leads ISIS. According to The Daily Beast, the Islamist extremist some are now calling the most dangerous man in the world is the Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who served four years at the biggest U.S. detention camp in Iraq. And he was released in 2009.

During his time at Bucca, he learned the art and importance of avoiding notice. As the Beast reports al-Baghdadi clearly remembered some of the lessons of his time there. He has made no videos, unlike Osama bin Laden and many of the other extremist leaders. The news reports might not have had a photo of him at all were it not for the one taken by the Americans when he was first captured in 2005.

So it seems al-Baghdadi learned to minimize himself and avoid any attention that could have singled him out. Now he is leading a barbaric movement that is threatening to upset the balance in the heart of the Middle East.

Does he have the military capacity and capability to take Baghdad? Probably not, especially since he will be running into the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and al-Quds forces.

Instead of conventional-type operations, which have enabled him and his force to take large swaths of territory, they will potentially resort to the typical Islamic terrorist tools: suicide bombings (man and vehicle), as well as targeted assassinations. I believe it’s not unlikely they would try an assault against the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad as a symbolic measure.

The real threat of al-Baghdadi and ISIS is the establishment of an Islamist state extending from Northern Syria across northern and western Iraq. It could be a base of operations and training, in order to enable Islamic terrorist attacks regionally, and globally — no different from the Taliban doing the same in Afghanistan and welcoming al-Qaida.

Since Obama and the U.S. suffer from “war fatigue” and publicly state so, ISIS has no fear of U.S. intervention — but they do of Iran. Obama stated that al-Mailki has to solve this himself, and he will by siding with his Shiite brothers in Iraq — Iranian President Hasan Rouhani has already issued his intent and has the al-Quds force Commander, who was in Syria, now in Baghdad.

The Obama administration should have seen this coming when the black al-Qaida flags showed up in al-Anbar province. The options are now few, and just shooting a bunch of Hellfire missiles from drones will not solve the problem. Air strikes would require a ground element, which could adequately bring munitions to bear against the enemy.

Possibly the only remaining option would be to ally with the Kurdish Peshmerga Army and cut ISIS off from the rear and target their base of operations in Syria. Let us not forget that there are western fighters in ISIS ranks. As well, the last thing we would want is for an Islamist group to influence the flow of oil out of the second-largest oil producing country in the Middle East.

The bottom line is, we can deal with ISIS now, or we will deal with them later, when they stronger and more entrenched. With Obama in charge, chances are it will be later — after all al-Qaida is decimated and on the run.

A perplexed Secretary of State, John “Lurch” Kerry

I’ve asked the question before and continue to ask, whose side is the Obama administration — if not all Democrats — on? According to Foxnews.com, “In a hastily-organized trip marked by extraordinarily tight security, Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Egypt on Sunday, embarking on a weeklong tour of Middle Eastern and European capitals where he will try to rally support for the embattled central government in Iraq.”

Wait a minute — I thought it was up to the Iraqi government to figure this little situation out for themselves? ISIS marches on and Shiite clerics are threatening the United States of America, all the while Iran is poised to become a regional hegemony. And the Obama administration hints that it’s willing to work with Iran to resolve the crisis in Iraq. Confused yet? So far lots of talk and declarations, but nothing to halt the advance of a radical Islamist army.

But what really alarmed me were these words from a Kerry aide:

“We do not share the view of the Egyptian government about links between the Muslim Brothers and terrorist groups like ISIS [the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq]. [Egyptian leaders] need to include, and find ways to reach out to, the Muslim Brothers. … With regard to the challenge that the Muslim Brothers pose, I would characterize it more as a political challenge than a security challenge.”

Lunacy, pure unadulterated lunacy and this is what we’re sending to represent the United States? This is naiveté and incompetence but the more frightening prospect is collusion and complicity.

Perhaps Kerry and his aides should read Erick Stakelbeck’s book on the Muslim Brotherhood, their history and their objectives. This is why the Obama administration is incapable of contending with the issue of Islamic totalitarianism.

We recently wrote a piece here on Senator Patrick Leahy’s assertions against supporting the current Egyptian government — apparently Kerry staffers echo the same sentiments, “Aides traveling with Kerry, who has met el-Sisi before, said he will seek to impress upon the new president that the key to luring foreign investment and tourism back to the land of the pyramids is for el-Sisi to take steps to make his country’s political and legal systems more inclusive and fair.”

I suppose the Kerry State Department and the Obama administration felt the Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohammed Morsi was inclusive and fair in its drive towards a sharia state?

State Department officials cited those concerns — from Egypt’s recent staging of mass trials, with hundreds of defendants and across-the-board death penalties imposed, to the jailing of journalists and a near-epidemic of unpunished sexual violence — as reasons why the Obama administration and Congress have not restored all of the U.S. foreign aid and military assistance suspended last year in the wake of the coup against Morsi.

Perhaps the State Department has forgotten that 36 million Egyptians took to the streets to rid themselves of the cancer known as the Muslim Brotherhood. They don’t seem to understand that the only way to end the scourge is to eradicate the Brotherhood — after all, it was the Brotherhood who assassinated Egyptian President Anwar Sadat because he sought peace with Israel.

The Islamists – along with Putin, Rouhani, and China — know that this is their time, their moment is at hand. The modern day embodiment of Sir Neville Chamberlain occupies the White House and his emissary John Kerry is his disciple of defeat and subjugation. America has gone from championship-level exceptionalism to being the Bad News Bears. Time for a Churchill.

Shots Fired from Mexico to Harass Texas-US Law Enforcement

MCALLEN, Texas—A trusted law enforcement source is reporting that shots are currently being fired on the Mexican side of the U.S. border. The shots are intended to harass the increased presence of Texas law enforcement personnel.

Source: “Shots fired south of Rincon Village from Mexico. Unknown if smugglers are f***ing with the game wardens or what the deal is.” Minutes later, more information became available.

Source: “Not shooting at game wardens, but shooting to be a nuisance.”

Another trusted law enforcement source explained that the game wardens have been bringing in much higher numbers of illegal immigrants and destroying the rafts the human smugglers have been using to ferry illegal immigrants across the Rio Grande River that forms the international boundary between Texas and Mexico.

The area of the Rio Grande Valley sector where this is occurring is known as Zone 9. It is the Anzalduas area of the river border. This area has become ground zero for the border crisis.

This reporter visited the exact area two days ago and will release footage informing our readers and viewers on the hotspot.

UPDATE: Source indicates federal Fish and Wildlife agents are among the law enforcement the shooter(s) are intending to harass. Source indicates this marks the second occurrence in the area in two weeks.

WASHINGTON – The well-organized army of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, claims it has access to nuclear weapons and a will to use them to “liberate” Palestine from Israel as part of its “Islamic Spring,” according to a WND source in the region.

Franklin Lamb, an international lawyer based in Beirut and Damascus, said the move is part of the ISIS aim of creating a caliphate under strict Islamic law, stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to Iraq.

Lamb, who has access to ISIS fighters and sympathizers, said ISIS has been working with a “new specialized” unit organized at the beginning of 2013 to focus “exclusively on destroying the Zionist regime occupying Palestine.”

Lamb added that the ISIS “Al-Quds Unit” is working to broaden its influence in more than 60 Palestinian camps and gatherings from Gaza, across “Occupied Palestine,” or Israel, to Jordan and from Lebanon up to the north of Syria “seeking to enlist support as it prepares to liberate Palestine.”

ISIS is also know as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham. “Sham,” or “Greater Syria,” refers to Cyprus, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and southern Turkey. ISIS also is known as DAASH, the Arabic acronym for al-Dawlah al-Islamiyah fi al-Iraq wa-al Sham.

The Sunni militant group, which has taken over much of the Sunni region of Iraq, could leave the Shiite-dominated region of the country and head toward Jordan and Turkey. Lamb said that in Iraq alone, some 6 million Iraqi Sunnis recently have become supportive of the ISIS lightning strikes in the Sunni portion of the country. Some of the Sunni supporters are secular, such as the Naqshbandia Army of former top officials of executed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. As WND reported, the Sunni group may have given ISIS access to its ongoing sarin production facility in northwestern Iraq.

WND also reported ISIS already has captured towns bordering Iraq and Turkey.

The militant group also has steamrolled through the Iraqi desert in the west and taken over the major al-Walid crossing with Syria and the Turaibil crossing into Jordan.

Lamb said ISIS has established a capital for its caliphate in the Syrian city of Raqqa.

“The Islamist organization believes it currently has massive regional support for its rapidly expanding ‘revolution of the oppressed,’” Lamb said.

ISIS estimates it will take 72 months to “liberate” “Occupied Palestine,” or Israel, according to Lamb.

Lamb quoted an ISIS member as saying: “Zionists call us masked, sociopathic murderers, but we are much more complicated and representative of those seeking justice than they portray us.

“Are we more barbaric than the Zionist terrorists who massacred at Dier Yassin, Shatila, twice at Qana, and committed dozens of other massacres? History will judge us after we free Palestine.”

Lamb said ISIS can do what no other Arab, Muslim or Western backers of resistance have been able to accomplish.

He quoted the ISIS member as saying: “All countries in this region are playing the sectarian card just as they have long played the Palestinian card, but the difference with ISIS is that we are serious about Palestine and they are not. Tel Aviv will fall as fast as Mosul when the time is right.”

The WND source said ISIS appears “eager” to fight Israeli armed forces “in the near future despite expectation that the regime will use nuclear weapons.”

“Do you think that we do not have access to nuclear devices?” Lamb quoted the ISIS member as saying. “The Zionists know that we do, and if we ever believe they are about to use theirs, we will not hesitate. After the Zionists are gone, Palestine will have to be decontaminated and rebuilt just like areas where there has been radiation released.”

“Could this be the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39? Are we looking at the end of the end times? Is this just “wars and rumors of wars”? I’m not smart enough to say so, but the evidence seems to ad up for me.” JB

ISIS access to nuclear weapons could come from Sunni Pakistan, which is home to more than 30 terrorist groups. Pakistan possibly has transferred nuclear weapons to the chief bankroller of its nuclear development program, Sunni Saudi Arabia, as WND previously has reported.

The Saudis, who also have provided billions of dollars to ISIS, have threatened to acquire nuclear weapons if Iran were to develop its own.

The WND source said ISIS denies any interest in training and directing foreign fighters to attack Europe, claiming its goals are to establish the al-Sham caliphate and “liberate Palestine.”

The source said the West, and especially the Israelis, may already be aware of ISIS plans and tactics to take over “Palestine.” He said Western intelligence sources were in possession of an “encyclopedia of information” obtained by Iraqi intelligence less than 48 hours before Mosul fell two weeks ago.

He said an ISIS messenger who was captured and “under Iraqi torture” turned over more than 160 computer flash sticks with the detailed information.

“The U.S. intelligence community is still decrypting and analyzing the flash sticks,” Lamb said.

He indicated that the information already has been handed over to members of Congress, some of whom are sharing it with the Israeli Embassy in Washington.

“The current sense on Capitol Hill is reported to be that the Obama administration is not in the mood to share anything with Israel these days and certainly not with the Netanyahu regime which it loathes,” he said.

Lamb said only time will tell whether or not ISIS reaches both of its objectives. He added that if the “Zionist regime” can be ejected from Palestine, it will set in motion “historic currents” that will be “rather different from the Ehud Olmert-Condoleezza Rice fantasy of ‘a New Middle East.’

“In any event,” Lamb said, “it is unlikely that Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Lebanon among other countries in this region are going to look much like what George Bush and Dick Cheney and their still active neo-con advisers had in mind when they were beating the drums for a U.S. invasion of Iraq, Libya and now Syria and Iran.”
