Letting Noncitizens Vote In U.S. Elections Is Foreign Interference

Voting sign with arrow and American flag

This week, a law went into effect allowing foreign nationals — here legally or illegally — to vote in D.C. municipal elections. The only requirement other than age to vote in D.C. elections now is living in the District of Columbia for 30 days.

Most alarming about this new law is the foreign interference this law invites into the elections in our nation’s capital. Now, foreign nationals working at Russian, Chinese, and other embassies can vote in American elections. So much for concerns about foreign influence in American elections that was so en vogue in 2016.

Worse, this expansion of the right to vote to people who aren’t United States citizens undermines the very notion of citizenship. With citizenship comes loyalty to America and a shared interest in the future of the country. These foreign nationals living in D.C. have no investment in the future of America. No doubt some are in this country to spy on it.

Opposition to the proposal is bipartisan, with 42 Democrats opposing it in the House. The resolution was introduced in the Senate, but Majority Leader Chuck Schumer refused to allow a vote.

Don’t think this law is a fluke. New York City passed a law allowing foreign nationals to vote in municipal elections, and we are challenging it in federal court because it was enacted with a racial motivation. San Francisco also passed a law allowing foreign nationals to vote in school board elections.

The D.C. Council didn’t appear to act with an illegal motivation, so the prospects of overturning the law in court are slim, at best. It’s up to Congress to undo this growing threat to American sovereignty.

Citizenship should mean something. Many foreigners spent years coming to our country and achieving citizenship status. Along with citizenship came responsibilities and the cherished right to vote. These laws allowing foreign nationals to vote are a slap in the face to people who came here legally and worked hard to gain citizenship status.

It also diminishes the century-long struggle of black Americans to gain the right to vote. From Reconstruction to the civil rights movement in the 1960s, black Americans fought hard to secure the ability to vote. Now black Americans are having to fight again to stop foreign nationals from diluting their votes.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) is fighting these foreign citizen voting laws. In New York City, PILF filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of four black New York City voters to have the city’s foreign voting bill declared unconstitutional for violating the 15th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act. And in San Francisco, PILF filed an amicus curiae brief to support the striking down of San Francisco’s law allowing foreigners to vote.

Only Americans should be voting in our elections. This is an issue with strong bipartisan support. The real foreign interference in our elections happens when we allow foreign nationals to vote in them. We need to stop allowing people who can leave our country at any moment to have a say in its future.

We must protect the cherished right to vote and stop letting American citizens’ votes be diluted by foreign nationals.

Court Orders New York City To Reinstate Unvaccinated Employees, Give Backpay

The New York State Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that New York City cannot fire employees for not getting vaccinated against COVID-19, dealing a blow to Democratic Mayor Eric Adams’ pandemic policy. The court ordered the city to reinstate all fired employees and grant them backpay, citing the fact that being vaccinated against COVID-19 does not stop an individual from catching or spreading the virus, and thus being vaccinated does not grant enough community-wide benefit to warrant a mandate. The health commissioner “acted beyond his authority” by issuing an indefinite vaccine mandate rather than a temporary one, according to the court.

Adams said earlier this year his administration would not bring back workers who had been fired due to being unvaccinated. Roughly 1,400 workers were ultimately let go, including a number of firefighters and police officers. Adams came under fire for not allowing an exception to the mandate for those workers after he granted one to celebrities who were competing in sports or putting on performances in the city.

“States of emergency are meant to be temporary,” the court said in its ruling. “The question presented is whether the health commissioner has the authority to enact a permanent condition of employment during a state of emergency.”

The court ultimately found that the commissioner did not have that right. (RELATED: Vaccine Mandate Protests Explode Across New York City, With Some Chanting ‘F*ck Joe Biden’)

Many COVID-19 vaccine mandates were put in place based on the rationale that the vaccines could drastically reduce the chances of a person becoming infected or transmitting the virus if they were infected, so getting vaccinated was not only a benefit to the individual getting the shots, but everyone around them.

However, as more data emerged to indicate that the vaccines are only marginally effective at stopping spread, particularly against newer variants of the virus, that rationale became less convincing. The New York Supreme Court pointed this out in its decision, saying “being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19… the Petitioners should not have been terminated for choosing not to protect themselves.”

‘They want parents indoctrinated’: Several woke NYC private schools require parents to take ‘anti-racism’ training, sign pledges — or else

Several New York City private schools mandate woke training for parents — and some parents said if they refuse to participate in the controversial programs, their children will not be admitted to the schools.

The New York Post reported that at least five elite private schools in the city require parents to attend training in “anti-racism” and “diversity, equity and inclusion.”

One of the academies accused of pushing controversial theories is Brearley School, an all-girls private school in Manhattan. The student application states that “parents are expected to attend two diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism (DEIA) workshops per school year.”

THAT’S THE ATTITUDE OF SOCIALISM

Parents are also expected to write 500-word essays swearing their allegiance to those values, and should their child be accepted into the elite school, parents must sign an oath pledging their support of those values.

“We expect teachers, staff members, students and parents to participate in anti-racist training and to pursue meaningful change through deliberate and measurable actions. These actions include identifying and eliminating policies, practices and beliefs that uphold racial inequality in our community,” the pledge reads.

Don’t miss out on content from Dave Rubin free of big tech censorship. Listen to The Rubin Report now.

Andrew Gutmann, whose daughter had been enrolled at the school, wrote a public letter criticizing the private school for pushing critical race theory.

“They want parents indoctrinated the same way they want their kids,” he stated.

Chapin School held an “optional” panel earlier this month for prospective parents to discuss the academy’s “ongoing commitment to equity & inclusion, including our newest community-wide initiatives.”

According to one mother, the panel discussion was anything but optional.

“They take attendance, they have name tags, there is someone from the admissions office to keep track of who goes and who doesn’t,” the mom told the Post. “If you don’t go, your child is not going to go very far in the admission process.”

Another mother stated that she was “talked to” by school officials after her son said boys are physically more capable at sports than girls. The mom said she was told her child “had to better understand the values of inclusion at the school, and I had to familiarize myself with the values of inclusion at the school and be clear with my child as to what they were so he arrived at school prepared.”

In 2020, Grace Church High School required students to sign an oath promising to stand against “racial propaganda” and to “interrupt biases.” “Respect for differing viewpoints is a fundamental commitment of the school,” a Grace spokesman said. The school added that it no longer requires children to sign the pledge.

Spence School, another all-girls school in New York City, “invited” parents to participate in a “Courageous Conversation equity workshop” hosted by a DEI consulting firm. “The opportunity to participate in the DEI program offered by PEG is strictly voluntary for parents,” a Spence spokesperson said. “These programs do not involve students.”

Horace Mann School, a college-preparatory institution, hosted a “family learning session” during which parents watched a presentation praising Robin DiAngelo, author of the book “White Fragility.”

“The workshop was designed to educate parents about what they were hearing not only in the news at the time but from their children. It was completely voluntary and if a parent rejected this instruction or the content, their children would be welcome at Horace Mann,” a spokesperson for the school told the Post.

Martha’s Vineyard Isn’t The First Time Democrats Failed To Live Up To Their Empty ‘Sanctuary’ Promises

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot complaining about illegal immigrants being sent to her city

Earlier this month, a Washington Post editorial acknowledged there was “no end in sight to the procession of buses inbound” to Washington, D.C., and praised Mayor Muriel Bowser for earmarking $10 million for the nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants who have arrived in the capital — about 15 percent of whom intend to remain there.

The Biden administration pretends it has the burgeoning problem of illegal immigration under control. Late last month, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre claimed that people aren’t just walking across the border. And just last week, Vice President Kamala Harris insisted the border was “secure.”

Much of the national media are happy to play along with this deliberate deception. The same corporate media that last year blithely ignored the federal government’s mass, midnight airlifting of illegal immigrants to New YorkJacksonville, Florida; and points beyond are now obsessed when a southern governor flies 50 Venezuelans to swanky Martha’s Vineyard.

In their eyes, when the administration ships tens of thousands of illegal immigrants under cover of darkness, it’s no big deal. But if the Post spots 50 people flown into Martha’s Vineyard, somehow, it’s a “crisis.” The media never accused the administration of using migrants as pawns or being inhumane, yet the latter is doing exactly what Texas and Arizona are on a vast scale.

The Post’s editors argue that “state and local officials nationwide must accommodate a flow of migrants — in schools, shelters, streets” as if there is no alternative. They seem unaware that for 250 years, the United States had an immigration law and that, for much of that time, the executive branch did its job, enforcing the law and defending our border.

What the open-borders, sanctuary-city crowd are at last realizing is that their blank checks can be cashed. New York and Washington’s social services are drowning under a mere 10,000 arrivals each. They’re lucky not to be El Paso (population 684,000), which is dealing with 1,400 illegal migrants arriving per day, or Yuma (population 97,000), which has received 250,000 so far this year.

Mayor Bowser’s $10 million might sound like a lot but putting just 200 people in hotel rooms in Washington at $200 per night comes out to upwards of $15 million annually, and educating the “about 70” new illegal immigrant children now enrolled in D.C. public schools will cost a couple million more for the first year. What happens next year?

New York City already has 7,600 migrants in its homeless shelters, which are 99 percent full, and is struggling to find housing for 5,000 new arrivals. As if trying to put out a fire with an eye-dropper, the city has opened a $6.7 million “welcome center” in Manhattan to receive migrants arriving by bus. Cost estimates for housing the city’s noncitizens already exceed $300 million a year. To complicate things, New York requires residents to spend at least 90 days in a shelter before being eligible for housing vouchers. It also requires a background check to verify applications. This normally takes a month, but it will presumably longer to process illegal immigrants who have no records that can be checked.

Even assuming all the new arrivals actually claim asylum, the average wait for an initial hearing in New York is over three years. In the meantime, they will be public charges on the city’s schools, hospitals, and housing. How long will New York taxpayers put up with this? Well, Mayor Eric Adams has admitted that the city is reaching the end of its rope, and officials are now said to be reconsidering their “right to shelter” commitment to house unlimited foreign indigents on top of New York’s plentiful home-grown needy.

New York and Washington actually look tough compared to Chicago. Mayor Lori Lightfoot proudly signed a “Welcoming City” ordinance in February 2021 to stop city police from working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But when the first busloads of 50 migrants arrived in early September, she packed them off to neighboring Burr Ridge without telling its mayor.

Later, when 500 migrants arrived in Chicago, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker declared an emergency and called out the National Guard. Coincidentally, Chicago has suffered almost the same number (491) of murders this year, but that’s not considered an emergency worthy of mobilizing the guard.

How long will this game of pass-the-parcel continue? Migrants deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion. However, that does not require those who enter illegally to stay here — on the taxpayer’s dime — until our overwhelmed immigration courts can get around to hearing their cases. Under the Migrant Protection Protocols, they could be housed outside our borders while their cases are considered. Even if not, ICE has to be allowed to do its duty, and those who fail to file for asylum or whose cases are denied after due process should be quickly deported as the law requires. It’s time President Biden stopped denying the crisis at the southern border and accepted the truth. Only then can we work for a national solution to the ongoing migrant crisis.

At This Manhattan Middle School School, Sixth-Graders Are Asked to Surveil Friends and Family for ‘Microaggressions’

A New York City public school encouraged students as young as 10 years old to keep a list of all the “microaggressions” they witnessed, both at school and in their own families, according to materials from the school’s curriculum reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The same students were also asked to list their gender identity—”cisgender,” “nonbinary,” or “trans”—as well as their sexual orientation on a graded worksheet.

The sixth-grade humanities curriculum from Lower Manhattan Community Middle School, where just 31 percent of students are white, required students to read Tiffany Jewell’s This Book Is Anti-Racist, one of only five books assigned for the 2021-2022 year. The book contains 20 lessons on “how to wake up, take action, and do the work”—including the work of confronting the police, which Jewell suggests white students can do without ending up “in jail or harmed.”

“If you are a Black, Brown, or Indigenous Person of the Global Majority, you will need to decide how each outcome could end for you,” Jewell writes in a chapter called “Choosing My Path.” “White people, this is not something you need to do because you are at the center of the system.”

From Tiffany Jewell’s ‘This Book Is Anti-Racist’

The book also asks students to surveil their friends and family for racist behavior. “Grab your notebook,” one “activity” instructs readers. “Look and listen for the microaggressions around you. Write them down and note your observations.” Another activity asks students how “folx” in their families “resisted” or “contributed to racism,” defined as the “systemic misuse and abuse of power by institutions.”

The curriculum, which went into effect August 2021, came as parents across New York City were mobilizing against critical race theory in public schools—and as education officials across the country were denying that there was any such thing.

“Critical race theory is not taught in elementary schools,” Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, asserted in July 2021. Parents “are bullying teachers and trying to stop us from teaching students accurate history.”

One month earlier, New York Regents chancellor Lester Young stated that critical race theory “is not our theory of action” and assured parents that “we are not preparing young people to be activists.”

Jewell’s book belies that assurance. “We will work together, in solidarity, to disrupt racism and become anti-racist accomplices,” the preface reads. “There are many moments to pause in this book so you can check in with yourself and grow into your activism.”

The curriculum could spell legal trouble for the school, which is already under investigation for separating seventh and eight-graders into racial affinity groups. That practice prompted a civil rights complaint in December from the watchdog group Parents Defending Education; on July 13, the Department of Education announced it would investigate the middle school over the complaint.

“It’s astonishing that administrators at Lower Manhattan Community seem determined to create a racially hostile educational environment on top of the civil rights investigation that was just opened,” said Nicole Neily, the president of Parents Defending Education. “Parents who were once proud of the school’s academic performance compared to other New York City public schools are now concerned—justifiably so—about the school’s increasing fixation on race.”

Those concerns come amid steep enrollment declines—and budget cuts—in New York City’s public schools. With enrollment down 8 percent since 2020, schools have lost $215 million in funding this year alone, forcing widespread layoffs and larger class sizes.

Divisive curricula like the one at Lower Manhattan Community School have exacerbated that exodus. One parent told the Free Beacon that their child would not be returning to the middle school this fall on account of an assignment that required sixth-graders to disclose their “social identities”—including their sexual orientation—on a worksheet. Though students did not have to “write something for every category,” instructors collected the worksheet for a grade.

Such lessons aren’t the product of a few school administrators run amok but reflect the race-conscious worldview of the New York City Department of Education. In June 2020, then-executive superintendent of Manhattan public schools Marisol Rosales hosted a panel on dismantling “systemic racism in our schools,” which held up Lower Manhattan Community School’s “mission statement on race” as a model for the entire school system.

“To undo the legacy of racism and oppression in this country that impacts our school community,” the mission statement reads, Lower Manhattan Community Schools works to instill “anti-racist beliefs and practices.”

The school’s sixth-grade humanities curriculum is a microcosm of what that education looks like in practice. Three of its five units concern “identity,” with Jewell’s book listed as a “key text” for unit one. The “social identities” worksheet was part of a broader lesson on “the dominant culture,” which consists of “people who are white, middle class, Christian and cisgender.”

Whoever does not fit into this “box,” Jewell writes, is “part of what’s called the ‘subordinate culture.’” Her description of that culture is exhaustive, albeit studded with solecisms: “Folx included in the ‘subordinate culture,’ include Black, Brown, indigenous People of Color of the Global Majority, queer, transgender, and nonbinary folx, and cisgender women, youth, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, atheist, and non-Christian folx, neurodiverse folx, folx living with disabilities, those living in poverty, and more.”

“The people who want to talk about racism all the time are the racists,” said Maud Maron, who served as an elected representative for parents in the district where Lower Manhattan Community School is located. “The people who suffer are the kids who get cheated out of a wholesome school experience and hours of learning that should be focused on academics instead of race indoctrination.”

Lower Manhattan Community School did not respond to a request for comment.

The focus on race extended to the seventh-grade social studies curriculum—ostensibly devoted to early American history—which used “anti-racist” guru Ibram X. Kendi’s Stamped from the Beginning as its main textbook, according to a syllabus for the 2021-2022 school year reviewed by the Free Beacon.

These curricula do not seem to have soothed racial tensions at Lower Manhattan Community School, which is 41 percent Asian, 15 percent Hispanic, and 7 percent black.

A group of parents and administrators in April began planning a “restorative justice circle” to address alleged incidents of racism that had taken place over the school year, according to emails reviewed by the Free Beacon. The incidents included a black student calling a South Asian student “Indian Boy,” an Asian student touching a black student’s hair, and a “rumor” that a white student “used the N-word.”

The school eventually canceled the circle after a parent objected that it would “violate students’ privacy” and “possibly put current students at risk”—and after parents started to litigate the incidents over email, replicating the racial catfighting that had consumed the classroom.

One parent questioned the wisdom of discussing the transgressions of Asian students at a time when anti-Asian hate crimes were on the rise. It didn’t go over well.

“African Americans have been facing race-based violence for 500 years in this country, and still face it every day,” another parent responded. “So, I’d ask you to please be sensitive to that fact during discussions and emails with our group.”

Our nation has been rocked by at least two significant acts of domestic terrorism in a five-month span. Last week, Frank James opened fire in a New York City subway, injuring 23 people. In November, Darrell Brooks drove his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, killing 6 people and injuring 60 others.

Both perpetrators are black, which is a bit unusual given that mass shootings have historically been perpetrated by white men. More significantly, both Brooks and James had expressed radical views on social media advocating violence towards whites in the lead-up to their attacks, strongly suggesting race relations were a key motive for their acts of violence. (Naturally, the mainstream media has neglected to find out if it was indeed their motivation).

Ditto for Quintez Brown, a Black Lives Matter activist who was charged with the attempted assassination of Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg in February, and Micah Johnson, who killed five Dallas police officers in 2016. Meanwhile, public perceptions about the state of race relations in the country have plummeted.

These anecdotes, particularly during increasing dissemination of critical race theory (CRT), suggest CRT has been a detriment to racial progress rather than a force for good. The harmful impacts of CRT on race relations are unsurprising when considering several of its basic tenets.

    CRT Teaches America Is Racist

The New York Times Magazine’s “1619 Project,” the brainchild of Nikole Hannah-Jones, expresses a historical view in which America’s true founding was in 1619, the year African slaves were first brought to the United States. American history is thus viewed and analyzed through a lens of anti-black racism.

For example, Hannah-Jones controversially asserts that the Revolutionary War was primarily fought to preserve slavery, argues that the U.S. Constitution was meticulously crafted to establish a “slavocracy,” and criticizes Abraham Lincoln’s approach to the issue of slavery and race. Similarly, a report last June from our very own National Archives argued that America’s founding documents are steeped in “systemic racism.”

Philadelphia-based attorney and radio host Michael Coard perhaps best sums up the CRT view of American history, as he decried the Fourth of July as “a celebration of kidnapping, transporting/buying/selling human beings, separating families, torture, whippings, rapes, castrations, lynchings and enslavement.” The conclusion, then, is that the history of slavery persists, impacting all aspects of American life to this very day.

CRT Teaches American Government Is Racist

The Constitution remains the law of the land, and if you believe that the Constitution is racist, then it follows that the American system of government, which is based on the Constitution, is also racist. This is a core argument of CRT: American institutions, including the Electoral College, the Senate, and the Second Amendment have all recently been attacked as systemically racist to justify their abolition.

In the words of The Nation’s Elie Mystal,“[t]he Constitution is kind of trash… It was written by slavers and colonists, and white people who were willing to make deals with slavers and colonists. They didn’t ask anybody who looked like me what they thought about the Constitution.”

Allegations of widespread government-sanctioned suppression of minority voters also continue to persist. Therefore, according to CRT, minorities are forced to live in a system designed to oppress them, and the system is too flawed to allow for any reform internally.

CRT: Non-Whites Cannot Succeed Within the System

Perhaps most important to CRT and “wokeness” is the tenet that you cannot truly be successful as a minority in America. This was most clearly illustrated in a July 2020 display at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which accredited several objective measures of successful behavior (e.g. hard work, planning for the future, delayed gratification, the scientific method) as part of “White Culture.”

Minorities who achieve wealth and/or educational success in the United States are openly attacked as exhibiting “white characteristics” or “acting white.” Successful African-Americans who don’t adhere to every woke political or social stereotype are quickly dismissed as “cornball brothers,” “oreos,” or “Uncle Toms.”

Thus, success for minorities in America is not taken as evidence of racial progress, but as a sign of conformity with “white” values and a betrayal of racial identity.

That Leaves Violence as the Only Option

If you wholeheartedly believe in those three statements, violence inevitably becomes your only option for progress. You live in an oppressive society, with built-in systems of oppression that prevent you from altering that society, and have no way to be successful within the system while staying true to yourself. Your only alternative is to destroy that system.

That is the thought process that Brooks and James expressed. “White people and Black people should not have any contact with each other,” James argued. A June 2020 tweet by Brooks was even more direct: “[W]hen we start bakk knokkin white people TF out ion wanna hear it…the old white ppl 2, KNOKK DEM TF OUT!! PERIOD.”

Of course, the leaders of the CRT movement who craft these beliefs and pass them on to others clearly don’t believe their own teachings. Prominent CRT figures such as Ibram KendiPatrisse Cullors, and Robin DiAngelo have achieved tremendous financial and professional success within the very systems they rail against. They are able to live in upscale neighborhoods and run in social circles that are far removed from the violence and poverty that plague many minority neighborhoods.

The corporate, educational, and entertainment institutions that score public relationship points by peddling CRT propaganda are similarly largely insulated from the harm that their teachings cause. Unfortunately for passengers on the New York subway and parade-goers in Waukesha, some people believe in CRT wholeheartedly, and thus embrace violence as the ultimate solution to systemic racism.

Manhattan DA Reverses Policies Amid Backlash Over ‘Soft on Crime’ Approach

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg scrapped two policies Friday following immense public backlash as the city sees a rise in violent crime. Bragg appeared to deflect blame onto his staff in his memo released Friday, noting his Jan. 3 memo was meant to provide “framework” with which his office should follow.

“As I emphasized in my remarks to the office, you were hired for your keen judgment, and I want you to use that judgment – and experience – in every case,” Bragg wrote.

Under the new memo, Bragg said commercial robberies committed with a gun “will be charged as a felony” regardless of if the gun “is operable, loaded, or a realistic imitation.” Robberies committed at knifepoint or with another weapon will also be charged as a felony, according to the memo. Bragg also said “people walking the streets with guns will be prosecuted and held accountable” and that the “default in gun cases is a felony prosecution.”

“Violence against police officers will not be tolerated,” the memo continued. “We will prosecute any person who harms or attempts to harm a police officer.”

Prior to the changes, Bragg’s initial memo said armed robberies would be treated as petty larceny, a misdemeanor, if no victim was seriously injured and there was no “genuine risk of physical harm.

Widow of slain New York Police Department Officer Jason Rivera, Dominique Luzuriaga, slammed Bragg for not keeping the city safe during her husband’s funeral service.

“The system continues to fail us,” Luzuriaga said. “We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these new laws, especially the ones from the new DA. I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now.”

NYC school plans to sort kids by race for social justice programs

NYC school plans to sort kids by race for social justice programs

A New York City junior high is planning on separating students by race in order to discuss social justice topics next week, according to The New York Post.

According to an email sent to parents obtained by the outlet, the Lower Manhattan Community Middle School will conduct the activity in order to “…undo the legacy of racism and oppression in this country that impacts our school community.”

Principal Shanna Douglas wrote in the email that children in grades seven and eight will opt into one of five “affinity groups.” Asians, whites and multi-racial students will be in their own categories. African-American and Hispanic students will be combined into one group.

Douglas added that said she is emphasizing race this school year because “…students are talking about it since race has become a popular topic on social media, or parents are talking even more about it at home due to the recent incidents across the nation.”

She claimed that the school had failed to adequately address race issues before in the institution that is 44 percent Asian, 29 percent white, 15 percent Hispanic, and 8 percent black.

An additional group will be offered for those uncomfortable with the format of the program. Nathaniel Styer, spokesperson for the Department of Education said that it is “…abundantly clear to both students and parents that anyone can opt-out of this two day celebration if they desire.”

The opening question for discussion will be “Why are we even talking about racial identity?”

Parents told the outlet that they are concerned that the program will be more divisive for students that that the politically charged program is being prioritized over traditional academics.

The Sleeping Giant Awakens! New Yorkers Speak Out Against Draconian Vaccine Mandates at Massive Rally! VIDEO featuring RFK Jr. & New Yorkers Tell It Like It Is!

In a city notorious for fierce political and ideological division, New York City has recently seen unity amongst groups perceived to be on different ends of the political spectrum, such as Freedom Patriot groups and Black Lives Matter.

Patriot Freedom Groups, Trump Supporters, Teachers, Labor Unions, Medical Freedom Advocates, Black Lives Latter Leaders and everyday New Yorkers came together in harmony this past weekend to demand the government reverse the vaccine mandates that have rocked New York City and the nation.

New Yorkers from every walk of life rallied and marched together this past Saturday in the ongoing battle to overturn what many perceive to be unconstitutional mandates and an infringement of civil liberties. New York City has the strictest vaccine passport rules in the nation and residents continue to face discharge from their workplaces and denied entry to restaurants for not complying with the mandates.

The crowd gathered near Times Square before the march, chanting “We The People Will Not Comply”, “We Will Not Comply, We Do Not Consent”, “No Forced Vaccines”, “No Vaccine Mandates”, “Mr Body, My Choice”, “No Vaccine You Won’t Force, My Body My Choice”, “Wake up New York”, “F**k Joe Biden”, “Let’s Go Brandon” and “No Nazi Passport.”

Thousands gathered near Times Square to protest the unprecedented mandates, where speakers like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., NYC Artist Scott Lobaido, BLM Activist Reverend McCall, Children’s Health Defense Attorney Mary Holland, Dr. Lawrence Palevsky and Dr. Christiane Northrup spoke to the audience.

    More speakers:

According to activists, the anti-vaccine mandate movement in New York has been rapidly growing.

“We are extremely excited to see such a large and diverse crowd turning up for our events,” said rally organizer Kevin Peters of New York Freedom Rally. “It is growing by the week and all credit it due to Bill de Blasio and Joe Biden who have inadvertently emerged as unifying figures because of the backlash they created with their absurd and illegal policies.”

Follow New York Freedom Rally here.

New Yorkers at the event seemed relieved to find allies in unexpected places after the past years of division that has swept the nation since Covid emerged in early 2020.

“The sleeping giant awakens. New Yorkers are finally coming together on this issue,” said John Tabacco, New York City Conservative Activist and host of the Newsmax show “Wiseguys”. “Biden and the government overplayed their hand with these draconian vaccine mandates and as a result people are uniting on the right and left. This is the government’s worst nightmare. Let’s Go Brandon!”

A Black Lives Matter activist made it clear to the crowd that sometimes civil disobedience is the only way to get the government to listen.

“The resolution will not be televised. The revolution is going to be in the streets,” said Black Lives Matter Leader Reverend Kevin McCall. “Yea we can rally, yea we can say ‘no justice no peace’, yea we can scream ‘my body, my choice’ but the only thing that they respect is when we shut stuff down!”

After the rally, the large crowd marched from Times Square to Hudson Yards and landed in front of CNN, where another rally took place protesting the corporation and other news organizations the group feels propagate vaccine lies, such as The New York Times.

“There is no better example than The New York Times and CNN that push these false narratives,” said Peters.

“We are the white hot center right now,” said event organizer Cat McGuire. “But mark my words- as goes New York so goes the rest of the country- and that’s why we are trying to push back as hard as we can. Don’t feel complacent if you are in a rural area. This is the panopticon and they have everybody’s number, especially if you are getting that toxic injection. That is how they are going to track us. So we’re pushing back here at ground zero- stand up and join us in your own communities- don’t just say well its not happening here- you wait!”

This day was planned by local organizers in coordination with the “World Wide Rally For Freedom”.

Worldwide Rallies for Freedom are ongoing bimonthly events planned all over the USA as well as in over 400 locations including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, Uruguay. According to their website, The World Wide Demonstration (also known as the World Wide Rally For Freedom), is an internationally syndicated community demonstration dedicated to emboldening citizens to push back against Coronavirus related restrictions in their countries. The event is deployed by member organizations in each city, with full local autonomy at the grass roots level.

New York organizers said the protests started off in New York with under 100 attendees at the beginning of the lockdown and has since grown to thousands per event.

“The whole entire world needs to rise up,” said Trump supporter Jamiee S. “Or else it is too late, We are going to lose our freedom, we are going to lose our country, we are going to lose everything.”

“The only way to create the power that we need and to get the thing done is that we come together,” said NYC Black Lives Matter activist Stephon Banks. “That means people from all aspects of life. People from different races and classes coming together.”

Democratic New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio reportedly plans to announce Tuesday the city will begin requiring proof of vaccination at certain indoor businesses like restaurants, gyms and performance venues.

The mandate will go into effect later in August and will also apply to employees of said indoor businesses, a city official told The New York Times. With the announcement, New York City will become the first city in the United States to implement a government-mandated vaccine passport.

De Blasio has taken other measures in recent weeks to try and increase the city’s vaccination rate, including mandating proof of vaccination or weekly testing for city employees and a $100 payment to members of the public who get the jabs. Roughly two-thirds of adults in the city are currently vaccinated.

The outgoing mayor stopped short of reinstituting an indoor mask mandate Monday when he announced a new “recommendation” to wear them. Other cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., have reimplemented mask mandates since the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reversed course last week on its mask guidance for vaccinated individuals.

New York’s vaccine passport will be known as the “Key to NYC Pass.” It will reportedly be modeled off of similar passes used in foreign countries like France and Israel. In France, the vaccine passport sparked a new wave of vaccination, but also brought with it widespread protests and rioting in opposition.

Report: Black, Latino voters reject radical far-left policies like ‘defund the police’

Reported by CHRIS ENLOE | June 27, 2021

    Read more at https://www.theblaze.com/news/report-black-latino-voters-reject-radical-far-left-policies-like-defund-the-police/

Far-left progressives who advocate radical criminal justice reform policies like “defund the police” claim abolishing traditional policing systems will benefit minority communities. But according to a New York Times report, Hispanic and black communities aren’t buying what far-left Democrats are selling.

The race to become New York City’s next mayor has focused on crime and safety. Interestingly, Eric Adams, a former New York City Police captain who denounces radical anti-police policies, won a 10-point preliminary lead in the Democratic primary, which, though held last Tuesday, probably will not be officially determined until mid-July.

The Times explained what Adams’ success means in terms of far-left Democratic policies and minority voters:

In a contest that centered on crime and public safety, Eric Adams, who emerged as the leading Democrat, focused much of his message on denouncing progressive slogans and policies that he said threatened the lives of “Black and brown babies” and were being pushed by “a lot of young, white, affluent people.” A retired police captain and Brooklyn’s borough president, he rejected calls to defund the Police Department and pledged to expand its reach in the city. Black and brown voters in Brooklyn and the Bronx flocked to his candidacy, awarding Mr. Adams with sizable leading margins in neighborhoods from Eastchester to East New York.

The results show the majority of black and Hispanic voters, two groups of people Democrats assume will support them, are more moderate than progressive Democrats assume. In fact, according to Hakeem Jefferson, an assistant professor of political science at Stanford University, the average black voter shares more in common with Adams than, say, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

“Black people talk about politics in more practical and everyday terms… What makes more sense for people who are often distrustful of broad political claims is something that’s more in the middle,” Jefferson told the Times. “The median Black voter is not AOC and is actually closer to Eric Adams.”

The phenomenon of minority voters rejecting the ideology and policy agenda of progressive Democrats is not something reserved to New Yorkers.

“[A] growing body of evidence indicates that large numbers of Black and Latino voters may simply take a more centrist view on the very issues — race and criminal justice — that progressives assumed would rally voters of color to their side,” the Times reported.

In fact, the share of white Democrats who identify as “liberal” increased from the early 2000s by more than double compared to the share of black and Hispanic Democrats who identify as liberal, according to an analysis conducted by Gallup. The analysis again suggests that black and Hispanic voters are more moderate than Democrats assume.

“Increased liberal identification has been particularly pronounced among non-Hispanic white Democrats, rising 20 percentage points from an average 34% in the early 2000s to 54% in the latest period. By contrast, Gallup trends show a nine-point rise in the percent liberal among Hispanic Democrats, from 29% to 38%, and an eight-point increase among black Democrats, from 25% to 33%,” Gallup explained.

Parents ‘furious’ at NYC private school over graphic sex ed videos shown to 1st graders

Parents of children at an elite private school in New York City are speaking out against videos on masturbation and gender identity being shown to their first-graders.

According to the New York Post, parents of first-grade students at Dalton School, which costs $55,000 a year, were outraged when they learned that “health and wellness” educator Justine Ang Fonte — who had previously led an explicit “porn literacy” workshop at another prestigious prep school in the city — had shown 6 year olds a cartoon video in which “touching themselves” for pleasure was explained.

“Hey, how come sometimes my penis gets big sometimes and points in the air?” a boy in the cartoon inquires, which then prompts an explanation about erections.

The boy nods his head and says that he touches his penis “because it feels good.”

A young girl in the cartoon video subsequently adds: “Sometimes, when I’m in my bath or when Mom puts me to bed, I like to touch my vulva too.”

The children were also reportedly taught lessons about giving “consent,” which included giving permission before their relative can hug them.

The health education lessons also included topics on “gender identity,” a nebulous phrase used by transgender activists to describe an internal feeling about their gender apart from their biological sex.

Mothers who spoke with the New York Post about their disgust did so anonymously for fear of social repercussions

“Kids have no less than five classes on gender identity — this is pure indoctrination,” one Dalton mother told the NY Post.

“This person should absolutely not be teaching children. Ironically, she teaches kids about ‘consent’ yet she has never gotten consent from parents about the sexually explicit, and age-inappropriate material about transgender to first-graders.”

Another mother said that she was “furious,” and that she and others “were horrified to learn this was shown to our first-grade 6- and 7-year-old kids without our knowledge or consent. But it’s so hard to fight back because you’ll get canceled and your child will suffer.”

When the parents complained, the school officials made it seem as though they misunderstood, but they were undeterred.

“We are not ‘confused.’ We are in fact just seeing very clearly for the first time what a ‘progressive’ education really means at Dalton,” another mother said. “The fact that the school then gaslit parents into thinking we are confused is abysmal.”

A school spokesperson defended the lessons, saying that the videos are age-appropriate and “align with nationally recognized methodologies and standards.”

“We consistently review our Health curriculum, making sure that the content is developmentally appropriate and, if necessary, we adapt our curriculum accordingly. We will continue to listen carefully to parent feedback, respond thoughtfully to community concerns, and develop lessons that are in the best interest of our students, respect our community’s values, and correspond with best practices,” the school said.

The fury at the elite private school comes amid greater scrutiny and parental pushback against the sex-ed curricula being taught in schools throughout the country.

In May of last year, the Family Research Council released a comprehensive report highlighting how Planned Parenthood and the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS) are sexualizing children with extreme content.

The report showed that among the lessons being taught are “how-to” sex workshops where youth are instructed on how to consent to sex and what’s known as “fake abstinence” — abstaining from sex until the next steady boyfriend or girlfriend. The FRC report also explained how contemporary sex-ed curricula teach girls how to obtain abortions and hide it from their parents. It also encourages students to declare themselves LGBT “allies” and promote the transgender identity claim that they might have been “born in the wrong body.”

New York Will Offer One-Time Payments of Up to $15,600 to Illegal Aliens Who Lost Work During Pandemic

New York lawmakers carved out a $2.1 billion Covid fund for illegal aliens who lost work during the pandemic. This is by far the largest in the country and dwarfed California’s $75 million give away to illegals last year. The fund is part of a larger state budget agreement that will offer one-time payments of up to $15,600 to illegals.

If the illegal alien is unable to provide any kind of documentation, they will still be given $3,200 – the same amount of money Americans were given in Covid stimulus checks approved by Congress.

According to the Pew Research Center, there are approximately 750,000 illegal aliens living in New York state.

    Fox News reported:

New York lawmakers struck a deal this week to establish a $2.1 billion coronavirus relief fund for undocumented immigrants and other unemployed workers who were ineligible for federal aid during the pandemic.

The fund, which was announced as part of a broader $212 billion state budget agreement, will offer one-time payments of up to $15,600 to undocumented immigrants who lost their jobs during the virus-induced crisis.

“This nation’s economy has long been built on the backs of our undocumented workforce, and their essential labor that has helped keep our nation running throughout this pandemic,” New York State Sen. Jessica Ramos, a proponent of the fund, said in a statement.

BREAKING BIG: New York Democrats Hold Outdoor Presser Calling for Charges Against Governor Cuomo (VIDEO)

Reported By Jim Hoft | Published February 24, 2021

New York Assembly member Ron Kim, a Democrat, and Jessica Ramos, a Democrat, held a rally at City Hall on Wednesday. Kim was joined by fellow elected officials, advocates, and the family members of seniors, to announce a key list of demands from the Cuomo administration. The victims want justice!

FOX News meteorologist Janice Dean spoke at the rally today. Dean lost her in-laws to the coronavirus after the caught COVID in a New York nursing home. Janice Dean has been leading the charge against the Cuomo administration and their lies to New Yorkers.

    Via Citizen Free Press.

Way back in May we reported that New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo, Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, MD and Executive Deputy Commissioner Sally Dreslin’s actions led to thousands of deaths in New York state.

Yaacov Apelbaum at the Illustrated Primer shared that these New York politicians are accountable for thousands of nursing home deaths because of their insane directives related to the China coronavirus. Apelbaum first pointed out the ludicrous directive from New York’s Department of Health, including:

During this global health emergency, all NHs [nursing homes] must comply with the expedited receipt of residents returning from hospitals to NHs.

    and:

No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.

As we reported in May, the reason for the Cuomo’s insane directives is related to money:

In 2018, as Governor Andrew Cuomo faced a challenge to his reelection bid in the New York State Democratic primary, he got a last minute $1m cash infusion from the General New York Hospital Association (GNYHA)—a powerful NY healthcare industry group. On April 2, 2020, he repaid the favor when he quietly signed legislation shielding hospital and nursing home executives from any lawsuits stemming from the coronavirus outbreak. The clauses, inserted into the annual budget bill by Cuomo, gave blanket immunity protections for healthcare industry executive and administrators, the same individuals and institutions that have made a fortune moving sick Covid-19 patients to nursing homes.

The GNYHA gave to the Democrats an unheard of $3 million in the 2018 election cycle. Of this, Cuomo and his state party committee received close to $2.3m from various hospitals and nursing home industry donors. Governor Cuomo returned the favor with his directive forcing COVID-19 patients back into elderly homes. This directive provided a massive increase in revenues to organizations associated with the GNYHA who were paid handsomely for COVID patients. It was a bonanza for these entities.

The impact of this decision on elderly New Yorkers in nursing homes is the elderly in these nursing homes spread the disease and died. They died at the worst rate in the country and the world.

The Gateway Pundit reported numerous times that the mortality rates for the China coronavirus are not much worse than a bad flu season across the US with the exception of New York and New Jersey. The death rates in these areas are way above the rest of the country and the world for that matter. It is clear that Governor Cuomo’s policies in New York led to the unnecessary massive number of deaths in the state.

We next reported that Cuomo’s insane and deadly policies not only targeted nursing homes, they also targeted adult care facilities and group homes for people with disabilities.

Andrew Cuomo’s COVID Reign Has Been Devastating, And It’s Time For A Reckoning

Andrew Cuomo’s COVID Reign Has Been Devastating, And It’s Time For A Reckoning

A few weeks ago, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, without a hint of self-awareness, said, “Incompetent government kills people. More people died than needed to die in COVID.” Sadly, I couldn’t agree more.

While many in corporate media glorified Cuomo’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, helping create a cult of personality for him among Democrats across the country, an examination of his decision-making reveals that he failed New Yorkers on many fronts.

Cuomo was given near-unilateral emergency powers to tackle the pandemic, with the state legislature forfeiting all decision-making and responsibility to the governor and his team. Thus, Cuomo’s decisions and the repercussions of his actions fall squarely on his shoulders. First, and most jarring, is the revelation that the Cuomo administration’s decided to cover up the true cost of their Department of Health order on March 25 that sent COVID-positive patients back into nursing homes. That fateful order was subsequently deleted from the state’s Department of Health website in the beginning of the cover-up by the Cuomo administration.

Following that order, tens of thousands of nursing home residents lost their lives and the Cuomo administration moved into overdrive on blocking transparency efforts, shutting down inquiries at every turn, and even releasing a phony report absolving them of any responsibility. Two weeks ago, we learned in a report by New York Attorney General Tish James, a Democrat, that Cuomo’s administration hid the true cost to lives of this non-scientific order, under-counting nursing home deaths by almost 50 percent. Just this weekend, we learned the Cuomo administration intentionally hid and withheld information from federal authorities.

We need a full, thorough, and independent investigation with subpoenas to Department of Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, the governor’s staff, and the governor himself.

It also speaks volumes that for months on end, the governor stonewalled transparency efforts by families that lost loved ones while mocking their efforts. His cruelty in this regard was on full display in January when he said “Who cares?” when asked about the death toll.

We care, governor. Those families deserve answers and justice.

Second, Cuomo’s administration forced out many of the public health experts who should have been developing New York’s vaccine plan, deciding instead to recruit expensive consulting firms. This led to an incredibly slow, ineffectual, and confusing rollout of the vaccine. My legislative office is still receiving daily calls from seniors older than 80 who simply cannot get an appointment no matter how hard they look.

While media outlets continue to sing Cuomo’s praises, the reality on the ground is that his top-down, Soviet-esque management style has hampered the efficacy and speed of the vaccine rollout, tying local health departments in knots. Every county health department in New York already has a mass vaccination plan, yet the governor refused for weeks to let them use those plans, instead of forcing them into the system created by his high-priced and high-brow consulting firms, all at taxpayers’ expense.

Third, Cuomo’s extensive lockdowns and subsequent non-scientific decisions to limit capacity in houses of worship shut down indoor dining, and restrict in-person learning (even temporarily) have hurt millions more. Setting unconstitutional caps on houses of worship was rejected by the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision, a case that shouldn’t have been necessary in the first place. Many houses of worship, spanning all types of faiths, were already setting limits on themselves to ensure the health and safety of their worshippers. Recommending that they be shut down or capped was ludicrous, and an affront to the basic right to freedom of religion in our nation.

Another group whose lives and livelihoods have been destroyed by Cuomo’s insatiable desire for control is restaurant owners and restaurant workers. Shutting down indoor dining in New York City made zero sense at the time, with people being infected at less than 1.5 percent (lower than the state positivity rate) when dining indoors. Now, Cuomo has reopened dining when the infection rate has climbed significantly.

These decisions are not being made based on science, but what the governor “feels” is the right move. That is a recipe for disaster that cannot be allowed to continue. Cuomo’s actions are driven by his need for control, his ego, and his ability to legislate freely, as Democrats in the state legislature have completely abdicated all their duties as a co-equal branch of government.

Finally, it’s clear that New York students are rapidly falling behind other students around the globe. The lack of in-person interaction and learning is having devastating impacts on our children’s academic and social futures, as they are not learning the important lessons we all learned in grade school. To the governor’s credit, he didn’t outright ban in-person learning, but he certainly hasn’t been a champion for it either. Hybrid-learning programs are still leaving our kids behind, and his silence on this subject is deafening. I’d hazard a guess he’s spent more time bashing former President Trump at his press conferences than he has talked about the needs of our students.

In short, the governor’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic has been nothing short of disastrous for the millions of New Yorkers who call the Empire State home. While CNN, MSNBC, and other major news outlets remain busy pumping up Cuomo’s ego and image to the American public, Americans need to hear that his decisions cost tens of thousands of New Yorkers their lives, hundreds of thousands of students their educational advancement, and millions of New Yorkers their livelihoods.

People are fleeing New York in droves, and now the state could lose a House seat — or two

More residents left New York over the last year than did residents from any other state, new population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau show. According to early census figures, a net total of 126,355 people packed their bags and ditched the Empire State between July 2019 and July 2020, marking a 0.65% percent drop. That’s the most by any state in the nation by both number and percentage.

Following close behind New York, in terms of percentage loss, were Illinois (0.63%), Hawaii (0.61%), and West Virginia (0.58%). Meanwhile, the big population gainers over the past year were western and southern states such as Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, South Carolina, and Florida.

The New York Post noted that while the state has been losing residents since 2016, this year’s drop was significantly higher than in years past.

The Empire Center, a fiscally conservative think tank located in Albany, said if the numbers are confirmed when the census is certified next year, the 2010s will become the first decade since the 1970s during which New York experienced an overall population decline.

“The 2020 estimated New York population represented a net decline of 41,326, or 0.21%, from the official decennial census count in 2010,” the group wrote, noting that the state’s usual population boost from foreign immigration has not been able to keep up with the resident exodus over the last decade.

“New York’s sagging population total is due mainly to an outmigration flow of 1.4 million people to other states since 2010,” it said.

To make matters worse, the population decline in New York is not merely an embarrassment for the blue state, but also comes with serious political consequences.

USA Today reported that due to its population loss compared to the rest of the country, New York will “certainly” lose one House seat — and perhaps two — when a congressional reapportionment is conducted in 2022.

New York is currently tied with Florida with 27 House seats, the third most of any state following California (53) and Texas (36). But Florida is expected to surpass New York during reapportionment. The Sunshine State surpassed New York in 2014 as the third most populous state, and the gap has continued to widen since then.

For years, critics of New York’s Democratic policies have argued that the increasing expanse of government and economic woes such as soaring property taxes are driving residents out of the state. But in 2018, ignoring those concerns, Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo blamed the population decline on bad weather.

New Yorkers, Stung By Amazon Loss Amid Pandemic, Rip AOC: Do ‘Something Positive’ With Your ‘Big Mouth’

Business owners in Queens, New York, are reportedly furious at Democrats and especially Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), after they chased Amazon out of the city, which is now struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Almost two years after Amazon pulled out from a proposal to build a massive headquarters along the Queens waterfront, the site is a vacant eyesore — and, to many locals, the squandered economic opportunity is even more painful amid the coronavirus pandemic,” the New York Post noted. “The world’s largest e-tailer abruptly canceled its projected 25,000 job-producing campus in February 2019 after being taken aback by ferocious opposition from local pols — including Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and state Sen. Mike Gianaris.”

The Post called the vacant site “the scar that won’t heal.”

The following individuals spoke to The Post about the situation:

    • Eric Benaim, CEO of Modern Spaces realty: “It’s really crazy what’s going on. The city has no solutions. We have a do-nothing mayor. I’m watching AOC selling ‘Tax the rich’ T-shirts for $58 while businesses are leaving New York. That’s AOC’s solution. Who is going to pay $58 for a T-shirt when you’re out of a job?”
    • Donna Drimer, owner of the Matted LIC art gallery and gift store: “The site just sits there empty. It’s terrible. We’re in the middle of a pandemic. People say, ‘If we only had Amazon.’ We got nothing. AOC, Giannaris, [local Councilman Jimmy] Van Bramer — wake up! People are leaving. Businesses are closing.”
    • Gianna Cerbone, owner of Manducatis Rustica restaurant: “I’m angry at the stupidity. Everybody fears AOC, who has no idea what she’s doing. Opposing Amazon benefited other communities. Imagine if AOC did something positive with her big mouth. I believed in Gianaris. Mike believed in the community until he went so far up AOC’s ass she couldn’t s–t him out.”
    • Bishop Mitchell Taylor, pastor of the Center of Hope International Church: “It’s like we’re living in the 1970s. Things are worse for poor people now. The Amazon project provided a ray of hope to a lot of people. We didn’t want a handout. The largest public housing project in the country wanted the opportunity to do business with the largest retailer in the country.”

“Governor Cuomo, who with Mayor de Blasio helped negotiate the deal largely in private, blamed the State Senate, where crucial leaders opposed the plan,” The New York Times reported. “Ocasio-Cortez, who opposed the campus, blamed Amazon for seeking $3 billion in tax breaks and incentives that she said should have been spent elsewhere.”

The Times highlighted a Sienna College Research Institute survey that showed that New Yorkers pinned more blame on Ocasio-Cortez for ruining the deal than anyone else.

Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched efforts behind the scenes to try to bring Amazon back.

Ocasio-Cortez cheered sabotaging the Amazon deal, calling it “incredible,” claiming that the city was “subsidizing” the tens of thousands of jobs that the deal was going to bring to the area.

However, as Democrat New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio explained, “that $3 billion that would go back in tax incentives was only after we were getting the jobs and getting the revenue.”

Earlier this year, as the coronavirus pandemic began to devastate the U.S. economy, Ocasio-Cortez appeared to cheer job losses in the oil industry. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “You absolutely love to see it. This along with record low interest rates means it’s the right time for a worker-led, mass investment in green infrastructure to save our planet. *cough*”

Ocasio-Cortez wrote her statement while promoting a tweet that stated: “Oil prices now at ‘negative values,’ meaning oil producers have to pay people to take it off their hands and store it because when demand plunges (like now), that is less expensive for them than building more storage and/or shutting wells down.”

The Houston Chronicle had reported at the time about the thousands of jobs that were being lost in the oil and gas industry. AOC later deleted her tweet.

Protesters Go After BLM Mural Outside Trump Tower – This Time They Just Dumped A Van-Load Of Tar On It

Protesters Go After BLM Mural Outside Trump Tower – This Time They Just Dumped A Van-Load Of Tar On It

With just over a week to go before the presidential election, it seems like the entire country is politically motivated. Thousands are actively standing up for what they believe. The most controversial topics America faces are in the limelight, and one of those topics is racism. To be more specific, the Black Lives Matter movement has taken center-stage in many areas.

In fact, there’s a giant Black Lives Matter mural painted in the street outside Trump Tower in New York City. Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio commissioned the mural and even assisted in painting it back on July 9, and he called it a “statement of what matters.”

However, ever since it showed up on the street, protesters have made it a target. Prior to this past weekend, the mural had already been vandalized at least once. Then on Sunday morning, protesters struck again. This time, though, it was done secretly late at night, and involved a van and a whole lot of tar…

    Via The Daily Caller:

The Black Lives Matter mural painted on the street in front of Trump Tower in New York City was vandalized again Sunday morning.

The Black Lives Matter mural, which now has a thick line of black tar painted over it, is believed to have been vandalized by people who dumped the tar out of the back of a van at around 12:20 a.m., police said.

    Check out what they did:

In commissioning the mural, Mayor de Blasio claimed they weren’t “denigrating the luxury of Fifth Avenue.” In contrast, they claimed they were actually “liberating Fifth Avenue.”

But clearly, some people don’t see it that way.

The BLM movement really took hold after the unfortunate death of George Floyd; not long after, BLM murals started popping up all over the nation. Many of these murals have been defaced or vandalized since, some by people who prefer the “All Lives Matter” statement, and others by those who see BLM as inherently racist.

A few New Yorkers also called out de Blasio’s mural as nothing more than a political stunt:

In one incident, a woman screamed ‘Bill de Blasio doesn’t care about black people!’ while dumping paint on the mural, the Times reported.

City workers promptly repainted the letters after past vandalizations.

Hot-button issues like this continue to reach a fever pitch in the populace. And with the presidential election just days away, tensions could continue to increase.

    Key Takeaways:

    • The BLM mural outside Trump Tower in NYC was vandalized again.
    • Protesters dumped tar on the mural out of a moving fan early Sunday morning, according to authorities.
    • Black Lives Matter could continue to be a polarizing issue, and might also have a definite impact on the presidential election.

Nearly half of New Yorkers think NYC is headed in the wrong direction

Reported by Nolan Hicks I The New York Post | September 2, 2020

After six of the most trying months in modern city history, nearly half of New Yorkers say the Big Apple is heading in the wrong direction — with worries about the economy and crime listed as top concerns. The new survey from the Manhattan Institute found that residents of the five boroughs are evenly split on the city’s trajectory — with 46 percent saying it’s heading the right way, while 42 percent say it’s off on the wrong track. Twenty-two percent of Gothamites surveyed by the conservative-leaning think tank’s pollsters named the city’s economy as their biggest worry, closely followed by 21 percent who said they were worried most about public safety. Another 12 percent named race relations as the biggest issue facing the city, while 11 percent said health care, two of the issues that have been at the forefront of city politics in recent months.

The survey comes as New York officials slowly reopen the city’s economy, which was shut down in a desperate bid to stanch the spread of COVID-19, a contagion that has killed more than 180,000 people across the country. The poll found that Manhattanites are the most satisfied with where they live and are the least likely to be looking to leave New York — with 48 percent saying they’re happy in their current neighborhood when asked where they’d live if they could live anywhere. Another 14 percent said they would pick another spot in the city.

However, it was a different story with respondents in The Bronx, where just 23 percent said they were happy in their current neighborhood and only another 17 percent said they wanted to live in another part of New York City.

Out on Staten Island, 26 percent told the pollsters they would move “somewhere far away from New York City” if they could pick anywhere to live — the highest percentage of any borough to say they would hope to abandon the metro area entirely.

New Yorkers give Mayor Bill de Blasio anemic marks, with just 45 percent saying they approve of the job he’s doing while 46 percent of voters say they disapprove. That compares to the largely stellar reviews offered for Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who got high marks from 73 percent of those polled. And despite weeks of protests and calls to defund the NYPD, 53 percent of New Yorkers say they approve of the police department, with 40 percent disapproving.

Distance also apparently made Gothamites’ hearts grow fonder for the oft-maligned MTA, which scored an astonishing 73 percent approval rating from New Yorkers despite ultra-low ridership numbers for the subways and commuter rails following the coronavirus outbreak.

Surveyors interviewed 1,485 New Yorkers selected by randomly dialing phone numbers. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.

Fleet of Moving Trucks Seen in Manhattan’s Upper West Side: ‘Mass Evacuation in Full Effect’

A string of moving trucks was spotted in Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Saturday, according to Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa.

“The mass evacuation of Upper West Siders from NYC is in full effect,” he told the New York Post.

Sliwa blamed the city’s decision to house hundreds of homeless people in the neighborhood’s hotels for the exodus.

“The moment I walked out on my block, near Central Park West, there was a moving truck. I asked where you going, and they said, ‘Virginia.’ They told me, ‘Curtis, first the pandemic hit us and now the quality of life is so bad,’” he recalled.

Sliwa spoke to others moving to places such as New Hampshire and Tennessee, and one young family told him they were headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

“They said in the last month, there have been so many disturbed people in the streets, aggressively panhandling, defecating, urinating — they leave the hotels and have no bathrooms to use,” he explained.

Following complaints from residents, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) promised August 17 to start removing homeless people from the city’s hotels and get them back into shelter facilities.

However, he did not give a timeline as to when that process would begin, according to Breitbart News.

Safety was more a motivating factor for people leaving U.S. cities than the coronavirus pandemic, global investor Barry Sternlicht said Tuesday during an interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box.

“There’s hundreds of thousands of people looking for suburban homes, and I would say it’s not as driven by the Covid situation as it is safety and law and order, and that is now pervasive across the big cities of the United States, sadly,” he stated.

Six people were shot and two killed Tuesday into Wednesday across New York City, Breitbart News reported.

“The fatal and non-fatal shootings Tuesday-Wednesday follow a Monday on which seven shootings left 11 victims. And they follow a weekend which witnessed over 40 shot, five fatally, in de Blasio’s NYC,” the report said.

Sliwa explained Saturday that the people who lived in the area were those who elected de Blasio as mayor.

“It’s a progressive, liberal neighborhood. And now there’s a visceral hate here for him — the feeling that he has virtually singlehandedly destroyed this city,” he concluded.

Chirlane McCray enjoys $2M staff of 14 amid NYC budget crisis

Reported By Julia Marsh, Nolan Hicks | New York Post

There’s no money for regular trash pickups or to maintain city parks, but Mayor Bill de Blasio’s wife enjoys a 14-member staff — including a $70,000 videographer who captured her baking cookies during the pandemic.

Some of the Chirlane McCray staffers, who cost city taxpayers nearly $2 million a year combined, work for the first lady’s $1.25 billion mental health initiative ThriveNYC, which has come under fire for its lack of metrics.

“Whatever happened to the money from ThriveNYC?” asked City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Queens).

“How much taxpayer money will the mayor’s wife pilfer before leaving office? How can she sleep at night hiring these hacks knowing so many other city workers are facing layoffs this fall? This is a disgrace!” Ulrich fumed.

McCray has a core team of eight staffers, according to a recent list provided to The Post following a Freedom of Information Law request filed in October 2019. This is despite the city facing layoffs of 22,000 municipal workers over the coronavirus-induced budget crisis.

There’s a $117,000-a-year speechwriter, even though McCray held that same position under former Mayor David Dinkins, and a $150,000-a-year senior adviser who was recruited in April after de Blasio announced a hiring freeze to help close a $7 billion deficit caused by the coronavirus.

But she has at least six other city employees deputized to her office from other public agencies, as was first reported by The City. That makes a robust roster of 14 staffers– double the amount she had in 2018.

They include the $70,000 videographer McCray brought on in February. The shooter, who is listed as a Department of Health employee in city records, filmed the first lady making ginger snaps on April 2 during the coronavirus lockdown.

Other members of the shadow staff who participated in a “Team Lunch” in The Bronx in January 2019, according to McCray’s public schedule, are a $143,000-a-year public relations director, also from the Department of Health, and a special assistant from the mayor’s office who makes $115,000.

Then there’s the $130,000 “executive program specialist” from the Dept. of Social Services and $65,000 “associate director of advance” to the first lady.

Still, City Hall spokeswoman Chanel Caraway on Tuesday defended the McCray team even as the mayor has said there’s no money to pick up overflowing waste bins or maintain the city’s parks. In fact, said Caraway, New Yorkers should be thanking McCray’s staff for their contributions.

“The First Lady manages a robust portfolio and her team works tirelessly to carry out goals and priorities on issues like mental health and domestic violence that will improve the lives of New Yorkers,” she said.

“As the City navigates unprecedented challenges triggered by the COVID-19 crisis, these public servants continue to show up everyday to deliver solutions that reach into every neighborhood and family, and we owe them a debt of gratitude,” Caraway said

Despite its ranks and generous salaries, the team hasn’t posted an update to McCray’s public schedule since last year. She is considering a run for Brooklyn borough president during the mayor’s last year in office.

Fellow contender, City Councilman Antonio Reynoso (D-Brooklyn), slammed the spending.

“With over 22,000 layoffs of city workers looming, the mayor can’t seriously expect to keep funding full-time, highly paid speechwriters and professional videographers for his wife’s political ambitions. It’s wrong, and it needs to stop,” Reynoso said.

On Sunday night, ABC 7 reported the victims were the result of 50 separate shootings that occurred throughout the city “since Thursday.” AM NY reports 40 gun-related incidents since Friday night alone.

    • Breitbart News reported 12 shootings with 20 victims on Friday. One of the 20 victims, 28-year-old Deshawn Reid, died from his wounds. He was shot in front of his Flatbush apartment on Ocean Avenue Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
    • Another of the weekend fatalities was off-duty NYC corrections officer John Jeff. ABC 7 reported that Jeff was killed with his own gun as he was leaving a party in Queens Saturday morning.

As the number of dead and wounded in NYC were calculated Sunday night, President Trump tweeted, saying, Law and Order. If [NYC Mayor de Blasio] can’t do it, we will!” Trump has also talked of sending federal troops to other Democrat-controlled cities where gun violence is raging out of control. His offers to do so in Chicago were rejected by Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D), who rejected the offer, choosing instead to push for more gun control.

On July 16, 2020, Breitbart News reported that Lightfoot responded to Trump’s offer of federal help by suggesting the president would secure more gun control if he really wanted to do something for Chicago. The Chicago Tribune reported her saying, “If the president was really committed to helping us deal with our violence, he would do some easy things. What he would push for is universal background checks, he would push for an assault weapons ban, he would push to make sure that people who are banned from getting on airplanes can’t get guns.”

Horowitz: New York treating law-abiding Americans as criminals, while promoting criminals and illegal aliens

    August 7, 2020

Now we know why New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio didn’t follow through with his promise to abolish the police. He wants the police around all right … to be used against We the People, even as they are hamstrung from enforcing vital laws against violent criminals.

On Wednesday, de Blasio announced he would be dispatching police to create checkpoints at key entry points into New York City to enforce a mandatory quarantine on all travelers from most states in the country. As I’ve noted before, this is something that would have been out of bounds for a local official to do even under the Articles of Confederation, much less since the more robust federal union of American citizens was created under the U.S. Constitution. Yet, the same man who has violated federal immigration law is now violating federal control over interstate travel and commerce with impunity.

Hence, illegal aliens, including those with heinous criminal records, who don’t belong in the country altogether, are welcome with open arms, while peaceful Americans are illegally placed under house arrest. At a time of a record surge in crime in the city, the police are now being used to randomly pull over suspected out-of-state residents:

Imagine if this would be done to illegal aliens?

But that is par for the course in de Blasio’s New York. You see, as the police are dispatched to enforce unconstitutional edicts against peaceful Americans, the most violent gang members and shooters are being released to further turn the city streets into shooting galleries. All the while, New Yorkers without criminal records are barred from their constitutional right to carry a gun.

Darrius Sutton, 23, a Bloods gang member, was set free without bail after being charged with attempted murder for seriously injuring someone in a shooting on May 15. Yet, he was released without bail and is now believed to be responsible for three more shootings in the city that resulted in seven victims being shot in just one month.

According to prosecutors, Sutton appeared in a hip-hop music video for the song “Crime Rate” by Brooklyn rapper BK Eaz, shortly after being released!

This is also why there has been a 286% increase in robberies in the once poche upper east side of Manhattan. There is simply no deterrent against crime anymore the same way there is against citizens not wearing a mask. We now see murders committed on camera in broad daylight. They simply don’t fear any punishment. One Rochester man was just released without any bond for an alleged murder he committed a few days earlier.

We have a crisis of crime in this country with police stepping back from their jobs (except to enforce mask mandates and illegal travel bans) and jailbreak policies. Rather than spending the past few years fighting those policies, Republicans have joined the jailbreak bandwagon. Isn’t it time to finally provide voters with a bold contrast from de Blasio’s view of morality and law?

President Trump has two opportunities to fight back against the lawlessness of cities that harbor criminal aliens and release domestic repeat offenders while hamstringing police. Trump should refuse to sign any coronavirus bill that contains funding for those cities. He should also use the upcoming FY 2021 budget bill as leverage to defund sanctuary cities.

The tragic mistake was not calling out the military when the insurrection began. By listening to his liberal advisers and allowing the lawlessness to fester, it will be hard to put the genie of anarchy, which was once beyond the realm of thought in this country, back in the bottle. Shockingly,  Jared Kushner, along with two top White House staffers, Brooke Rollins and Ja’Ron Smith, reportedly urged Trump to stand down because in their mind black voters want anarchy. This cannot be farther from the truth.

According to a new Gallup poll, 81% of black citizens want police to retain its presence or increase its presence in their neighborhoods. Just 19% want a diminished police presence. Black neighborhoods have been decimated by the riots and hundreds if not thousands of excess homicides have occurred in their neighborhood thanks to the breakdown of law and order. How can these advisers be so obtuse as to conflate the generic black vote with the gang and criminal vote?

The message Trump must champion is the opposite of people like de Blasio: Freedom for peaceful Americans and swift justice against those who harm others. Trump doesn’t need a reboot or reform of his original campaign message; he needs to actually fulfill it.

Over 30 people were shot, with ten killed, over the weekend as violence continues to surge in Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) New York City. One of the fatal shooting victims was a 16-year-old boy who sustained a bullet wound to the head “in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn” on Sunday, Fox 5 reported. The 16-year-old was one of seven people who were shot and killed on Sunday alone.

De Blasio reacted to the 16-year-old’s death saying, “This is heartbreaking. His life was just beginning. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the families of these boys. No parent should ever have to bury a child,” NBC 4 New York reported.

A “Stop the Violence” march occurred in Brooklyn the day before the seven fatalies occurred.

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea spoke with NY1 on Monday morning and acknowledged that all the anti-violence efforts have fallen short of actually curtailing it at this point.

“When we have a day with 15 shootings in New York City, that’s not a success. There’s no other way to put that. There are still some challenges throughout New York City with repeat gun offenders, with the gang situation, with large groups on the street and how to tackle them in terms of alcohol and things of that nature,” he said.

Breitbart News reported that a one-year-old was shot to death while sitting in a stroller in de Blasio’s NYC earlier this month. In June, Breitbart News reported a video of a father fatally shot while walking his six-year-old daughter across the street in the city.

Fifty-nine people were shot, three fatally, over the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago. Late Sunday night NBC 5 reported at least 49 people had been shot, two fatally. By Monday morning the Chicago Sun-Times reported nearly 60 shot with three fatalities.

NBC 5 noted that weekend shootings began Friday with a non-fatal incident just after 5 pm, when two individuals were shot while standing in a gas station parking lot “in the 800 block of West 59th Street.” Less than 30 minutes later a 19-year-old was shot and left in serious condition while sitting on a porch on West Cullerton. The violence continued from there. The Sun-Times reports the weekend’s last shooting–a fatal one–occurred just before 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.

On Tuesday, Mayor Lightfoot acknowledged President Trump would be sending in federal agents to help curtail the gun violence that has surged in Chicago throughout this year. But the Chicago Tribune reported Lightfoot made clear she will be ready to use the courts to stop the use of federal agents if she believes the Trump administration overreaches.

Lightfoot said, “I don’t put anything past this administration, which is why we will continue to be diligent and why we will continue to be ready. If we need to stop them and use the courts to do so, we are ready to do that.”

When Trump spoke out against the violence ravaging Democrat-controlled cities in June, Lightfoot reacted by stating she does not “need leadership lessons” from the president.

On July 16, 2020, Breitbart News reported Lightfoot responded to Trump’s idea of the federal government stepping in by calling for more gun control. Two of the central controls she demanded were universal background checks and an “assault weapons” ban. She did not mention the Chicago-area already has an “assault weapons” ban, thanks to a Cook County prohibition.

Moreover, Chicago and the entire state of Illinois already have a licensing process for would-be gun owners that includes a background check.

OPINION OPED: Don’t bail out cities. Reopen them

Commentary by Rep. John Curtis & Jessica Anderson | June 14, 2020 12:00 AM

Misleadingly named the HEROES Act, the bill would give $500 billion in unrestricted funds to state governments and $375 billion to cities.

Let’s dispense with the myth that these bailouts are the best way to help local governments.

Many states and cities don’t need additional tax dollars beyond the direct coronavirus relief the federal government has already given. The federal government has already spent trillions to prop up various sectors of the country and given $200 billion to states alone. Some mayors and governors around the country are claiming it’s not enough — many of these same politicians, of course, have been running billions of dollars in the red for years. The pandemic didn’t cause that, and this bailout won’t solve their long-running deficit spending.

New York City, for instance, had a $198 billion deficit at the end of 2018. Now, the city is expecting a $7.4 billion budget shortfall from the coronavirus, but it’s asking for $17 billion in relief. Meanwhile, the city’s own comptroller says the city could cut government “fat” and balance the budget without layoffs.

As a congressman and proud former mayor of Provo, Utah, and a lifetime conservative grassroots leader, we share an appreciation for well-managed state and local governments. Provo’s net position, a measure of the city’s total financial health, increased by $19 million last year thanks to careful management and hard financial decisions. Provo, and Utah generally, planned ahead and will weather this pandemic far better. Utahns and people around the country know rainy-day funds are important for families and for businesses — governments should be no exception. Places like New York City may have to make cuts now, but it will serve them better in the long term than a Band-Aid bailout would.

Bill de Blasio and Nancy Pelosi want the federal government to tax you, bring the money to Washington, and then, after taking the federal government’s desired share, give it back to your city and state — we don’t think this is a good idea. Of course, some local politicians would love to shift the responsibility for taxes and debt to the federal government. But anyone paying attention knows unaccountable Washington bureaucrats are far worse at fairly distributing money than locally elected leaders closest to the people, such as mayors, city councils, governors, or state legislatures. These federal redistributions almost always come with a haircut and strings attached.

Not only are massive bailouts for cities an unnecessary expense, but they are also a poor policy response that rewards bad behavior and punishes responsibility.

Bailing out failing governments merely incentivizes poor management in the future. If this bailout passes, cities will have no reason to save for a rainy day if they think Uncle Sam will come and save them. While no city wants to cut expenses or go into bankruptcy, it’s important that bad choices have consequences. Further, cities in the worst financial shape rarely have tax problems — they have spending problems. New York City’s high sales, income, and property taxes, as well as fees and other revenue sources, bring in an astounding $90 billion per year. Clearly, the reason for the city’s deficit isn’t a lack of money coming in the door but rather years of irresponsible decisions and no desire to balance the budget.

Bailouts also promote poor management nowThe root cause of budget shortfalls is not the coronavirus itself — it’s economic lockdowns. Stay-at-home orders were a necessary response to COVID-19 in some areas early on, though Utah instead issued a “Stay Home, Stay Safe” directive and has been one of the least affected states in the country. But some cities, like New York, have kept their orders in place long after they “flattened the curve.” Overly cautious politicians want to have their cake and eat it too: keeping their cities locked down as long as possible while having the federal government pick up the tab. But every day they don’t take steps to reopen will prolong the road to recovery for the rest of the nation.

Finally, and most importantly, a bailout would unfairly punish responsible cities. Utahns shouldn’t pay extra for Bill de Blasio’s prodigal spending — neither should other cities and states. Cities that saved and acted responsibly shouldn’t pay for the failures of other cities to do so as well.

America was founded as a land of freedom and responsibility. Pelosi’s bill would undermine those ideals, forcing taxpayers around the nation to cover the shortfalls of cities that spent recklessly for decades. Lawmakers should keep that in mind and reject Pelosi’s massive bailout boondoggle.

American Airlines and Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced in a joint statement Friday that they would be giving thousands of free vacations to New York City health care workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The companies said in the statement that more than 4,000 workers employed at the NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst medical center would be treated to roundtrip vacations to destinations throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean once they can “take time for themselves.”

Hyatt Hotels plans to provide accommodations once they arrive at no cost.

The companies said doctors, nurses, physician assistants, facility workers, and food service teams would be among those who qualify for the trips.

“We are extremely grateful to Hyatt and American Airlines for this generous gift to our health care workers, who have been at the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Israel Rocha, vice president of NYC Health + Hospitals and CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, said.

“Our doctors, nurses, and other staff on the front lines of this unprecedented health care crisis really appreciate the outpouring of support,” he continued.

The New York City metropolitan area has emerged as one of the epicenters of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. As of Sunday, the New York City Health Department reported more than 177,000 cases and 14,505 confirmed deaths reported by New York state.

New York state as a whole has reported more than 21,000 deaths and more than 333,000 confirmed cases.

Democrat Mega Scandal: NYC Mayor De Blasio Office Involved in Bribery, Prostitution and Illegal Weapons!

    Reported |

NYC’s Liberal Mayor Bill De Blasio has found himself in a mess as three separate scandals hit his office, including bribery, prostitution and an illegal weapons arrest! In addition, a local businessman claims he raised $80,000 for the De Blasio campaign in exchange for various deals. As well, a prostitute is testifying a major de Blasio donor “watched and directed” her sex games with members of the NYPD.

Democrat Mega Scandal: NYC Mayor De Blasio Office Involved in Bribery, Prostitution and Illegal Weapons!

    Rev-In Article

Reagan Stevens, the deputy director for Mayor De Blasio’s Office of Criminal Justice, was arrested Saturday for illegal weapons possession while sitting in a car that ‘reeked of weed’ near the scene of a Saturday night shooting. Stevens was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. A 9mm gun with the serial number scratched off and a shell casing were found in the glove compartment. Cops noticed there was a “strong odor of marijuana” wafting from the SUV.

She was arrested with two men, Montel Hughes, 24, and driver Caesar Forbes, 25. They are also accused of gun charges as well as of carrying knives at the time of their arrest. Cops also found five Ziploc bags of pot in Hughes’ coat pocket. A gravity knife was also recovered from the pocket of his pants. Cops found the loaded handgun in the car. When no one claimed ownership, police took the three of them into custody.

The trio’s arrest followed a burst of five gunshots that activated an NYPD “ShotSpotter” device in Jamaica at 9:42 p.m. Saturday. The five shots fired from the car were caught on surveillance cameras. Moreover, the gun found in the car has an eight-round magazine and had three rounds left in it. A spent round was found on the driver’s side floor.

Stevens managed youth and strategic initiatives.

Her main job is implementing a 2017 state law that will raise the age at which kids can be prosecuted as adults for non-violent crimes from 16 to 18. Prior to her current position, Stevens served as the Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Action Plan’s Behavioral Health and the Criminal Justice System Task Force. She also spent 15 years implementing crime prevention, adolescent diversion programs and alternatives to incarceration at the Kings County District Attorney’s office.

De Blasio is notoriously pro strict gun control:

Just last month he joined a student walkout in Brooklyn. He told students: ‘You are making so clear to this whole country that you are sick of the violence, you’re sick of the madness, you’re sick of the slaughter and you won’t stand for it.’

The city’s Office of Criminal Justice suspended Stevens without pay from her job.

‘We take these allegations very seriously,’ said the statement.

But this is the third high profile scandal for Democrat De Blasio this year.

Harendra Singh, a Long Island restaurateur, raised as much as $80,000 for De Blasio in exchange for various deals. He pleaded guilty earlier this year to trying to bribe the mayor in hopes of getting a better lease.

Singh testified under oath on Thursday that he steered tens of thousands of dollars to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s political campaigns in return for favorable treatment by the city. Singh also claims that De Blasio not only knew of the illegal arrangement, but encouraged it and actively helped the restaurateur.

“He made many phone calls,” Mr. Singh said of the mayor. “His office was working very hard, from his deputy mayor to his assistant to his intergovernmental affairs person. Everyone was working.”

A one-time high-end hooker at the center of an NYPD corruption scandal is expected to testify that a major de Blasio donor “watched and directed” her alleged sexcapades with cops.

Former prostitute Gabi Grecko traveled to Las Vegas in early 2013 with Jeremy Reichberg and Jona Rechnitz. They were both major contributors to Bill de Blasio’s mayoral campaign. She claims Reichberg supervised the trysts.

During the private flight to Sin City, Grecko also performed “services” for the duo’s guests. They included retired NYPD Deputy Inspector James Grant, the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office has charged.

Grecko will discuss the mile-high hookups on the stand during the trial.

Reichberg’s lawyers have pushed to block prosecutors from bringing up “any evidence” Grecko and Reichberg had a sordid tryst mid-air. They claim that would have “the potential for unfair prejudice.”

Despite Ban on Guns, London Murder Rate Now Higher Than NYC: How Can That Be?

    Reported

For the first time in modern history, London has seen enough murders to finally surpass New York City’s homicide rate.

The capital of England has a comparable population with the Big Apple and both cities have already experienced several homicides so far this year. Last year, there were a total of 130 murders in London where New York City had more than twice that number, with a count of 290 murders.

    New York’s Murder History

Last year, NYC saw an historic low murder rate which has seen a steady decline since 1990. Commissioner James O’Neill said that they haven’t had a murder rate like that in 70 years, saying that it’s “safe to say right now that New York hasn’t been like this since the 1950s.” In 2016, there had been 335 murders in the city.

The peak year for murders in NYC was in 1990 with a record 2,245 homicides. This high number includes the deaths of 87 people who were killed in a fire set by an arsonist at the Happy Land Social Club in the Bronx.

Speaking with media at the end of December, police said that shootings were down as well. In the closing days of 2017, they investigated 784 shootings, which is more than 200 less than in 2016 which saw 988 shootings.

    Firearms in the UK

Starting in 1997, the United Kingdom banned handguns, a class of weapons which is responsible for the majority of shooting homicides in America. While citizens are able to buy some hunting long guns, they must give the police a “good reason” in order to do so.

Famously, even the police don’t carry guns.

During the 2012 Olympic Games held in London, competitive marksmen had to work through piles of paperwork in order to bring their firearms to the city.

So, without access to guns, the good people of London simply stab each other to death.

[SEE ALSO: Gun Violence Drops Since 1993 as Gun Ownership Doubles in USA]

    Murder Rate Breakdown

So far in 2018, 46 people in London have been killed compared to 50 in New York City. But, looking at the monthly rate, the NYPD investigated 11 murders in February compared to London investigating 15 murders in February. In March, London saw 22 murders while New Yorkers saw 21 murders.

That is, the monthly murder rate in London is on an upward bend compared to NYC.

    Mayor Sadiq Khan

London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan, 47, was born in Britain and is the first Muslim mayor in the city’s centuries-long history. Khan believes his city to be a beacon of tolerance and so he has set out to ban Donald Trump from visiting.

In 2016, Khan said that dying from terrorism is “part and parcel” of living in a big city.

    The City of London

London’s history dates back to a legendary founding 3,000 years ago, and recent archaeological finds show that people have inhabited the area thousands of years before that. The city of London was founded as Londinium by the Romans a few years after the death of Christ and it soon became an important city, with the first defensive wall being built some time after 180 AD. Roman occupation ended after 410 AD. The city changed hands, and today some of its most famous structures were originally founded after the Norman invasion. Construction on both the Palace of Westminster and the Tower of London started before 1100 and the first attempt at the London Bridge was finished in 1206.

Roman London had an all-time high population of 60,000 comprising people from all over the Roman Empire, and modern London’s population is estimated to be over 8.6 million people.

    New York City

Before European settlers came to the area, the area now known as New York City was inhabited by Algonquin people. The area was first documented in 1524 and was called New Netherland in 1614. Permanent residences were established by Europeans in 1624 and was passed from the Dutch to the English in 1674.

Right now, New York City has an estimated population of over 8.6 million people.

    Cities By Murder Rate

Using 2017 numbers, the cities with the highest homicide rates are Los Cabos, Mexico, Caracas, Venezuela, and Acapulco, Mexico. All three cities have more than 106 homicides per 100,000 people living there.

In the United States, the city with the highest murder rate is St. Louis with 65,83 homicides per 100,000 people followed by Baltimore with 55.48 murders per 100,000 people.

Of the fifty cities with the highest murder rates in the world:

    • 17 cities are in Brazil
    • 12 cities are in Mexico
    • 5 cities are in the USA / Puerto Rico
    • 5 cities are in Venezuela

Father Demands Extreme Vetting After Terrorist Killed His Son In NYC

The father of one of the victims who died in the fatal terrorist attack in New York City Tuesday afternoon is speaking out and demanding increased scrutiny for people coming into the U.S.

James Drake’s son — 32-year-old Darren Drake — lost his life Tuesday when a radical Islamic extremist from Uzbekistan slammed a vehicle into innocent civilians, killing eight and injuring over a dozen others. The driver of the vehicle was Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, a 29-year-old green card holder and a diversity lottery visa winner loyal to the Islamic State.

Darren’s father told Fox News that he was the “perfect son.”

When he and his wife heard about the attack, they assumed that their son was not among the dead or wounded, but they couldn’t get in touch with him. As time went on, they began to fear the worst.

“We just realized as the longer the night went on, he wasn’t coming home anymore,” the young man’s father explained.

In discussions with federal authorities, Saipov revealed that he was proud of his actions, stating that he “felt good about what he did.” He said that he was trying to kill as many people as possible.

“These people, they come to the country and they hurt us,” Drake told Fox. “I just think that vetting should be a lot more difficult to allow these people who come into the country, especially a single man.”

“You get these radicals, and my son is the victim,” he added.

In the wake of this tragic attack, the deadliest terrorist attack in New York City since 9/11, President Donald Trump has demanded extreme vetting and railed against the diversity visa lottery on Twitter.

“I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!” Trump tweeted Tuesday night, picking up his rant the following day.

“The terrorist came into our country through what is called the ‘Diversity Visa Lottery Program,’ a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based,” the president said Wednesday morning, adding, “We are fighting hard for Merit Based immigration, no more Democrat Lottery Systems. We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter).”

Hillary Clinton Urged to Run for New York Mayor

Image: Hillary Clinton Urged to Run for New York Mayor

Barely two months after Hillary Clinton lost the presidency to Donald Trump, she is being urged by major Democratic donors and leaders to make a bid for New York City’s mayor and challenge incumbent Bill de Blasio, Newsmax has learned.

“She’s talking about it,” a former city Democratic elected official admitted to Newsmax over the weekend, saying the idea has not been dismissed by the former first lady’s inner circle.

He and other sources say Clinton is being pushed to run by Democrats dissatisfied over de Blasio’s mayoralty.

“If she ran, she’d win,” another source with deep ties to the Democratic and media establishment said.

Some Clinton advisers are reportedly predicting Trump will stumble badly in his first term, encouraging Hillary to stay on the sidelines in case she wants to make another bid for the White House in 2020. But even her closest allies say the chances of her running for president again are small.

Veteran New York Democratic consultant Hank Sheinkopf told Newsmax that Clinton “would be a terrific candidate for mayor.”

“She is wildly popular among New Yorkers — so much so that were she to file, de Blasio would have to file his retirement papers on the same day.”

In the past, de Blasio and Clinton have had a friendly relationship and the mayor served as campaign manager in her first race for the U.S. Senate in 2000. But other Democrats say the pair are not close today, and Hillary no longer backs de Blasio’s strident progressivism.

Sheinkopf, a top operative in Bill Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign, recalled “de Blasio endorsed her very late in the Democratic race last year and at times appeared to be quite friendly to Bernie Sanders.”

Clinton’s spokesperson did not return a call for comment, but her reported consideration of a mayoral bid comes at a time the embattled de Blasio is at his lowest ebb in popularity since taking office in 2013. The New York Post started the new year with an editorial blasting Hizzoner: “[V]agrancy is way up, along with aggressive panhandling and related intrusions into public spaces. Plus, streets seem dirtier, graffiti is out of control, traffic is a nightmare, and the subways are crowded beyond belief.”

The paper also noted “the mayor and his administration have been the subject of one state or federal investigation or another from his earliest months in office.”

Clinton would offer de Blasio a stiff challenge, quickly raising money through her national network of supporters. She remains popular in New York City. She just carried the Big Apple, winning 79 percent of the vote against its hometown boy Donald Trump. She also carried the city in two Senate landslides.

De Blasio, who counts Hispanics and Blacks as his core supporters, would find “Team Clinton” – Hillary and Bill – as formidable opponents who could cut into his base vote. Bill Clinton still maintains his presidential offices in Harlem.

Some critics suggest the New York mayoralty would be a step down for the internationally celebrated Clintons. But some supporters say Mrs. Clinton could delegate local governance to a strong team of deputy mayors as she used the stage New York affords to become a national leader for Democratic issues and values – while relishing her new role in Trump’s own backyard.

At least nine other Democrats are eyeing a bid for mayor this year. Among those mentioned are New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., and outgoing Office of Management and Budget Director Shaun Donovan, who also served as city housing preservation and development commissioner under former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Republican billionaire John Catsimatidis is also mulling a bid. Catsimatidis ran for the Republican mayoral nomination in 2013 and lost, but remains a popular figure in GOP and media circles.

New York City Lets You Choose From 31 Different Gender Identities

Individuals living in New York City can choose from a minimum of 31 different gender identities, many of which allow them to fluctuate between some version or combination of male or female identities. Businesses that don’t respect and accommodate an individual’s chosen gender identity risk incurring six-figure fines under rules implemented by the city’s Commission on Human Rights.More Evidence

The list of protected gender identities is available online and includes options such as “gender bender,” “two spirit,” “third sex,” “androgynous,” “gender gifted,” and “pangender.” A city official speaking on background confirmed to The Daily Caller that all of the listed identities are protected by the city’s anti-discrimination laws, but said that the list was not exhaustive.

The city does not provide definitions of the various gender identities, but TheDC was able to define several of them from glossaries provided online by the University of Wisconsin and the University of California Berkeley.

Someone who identifies as “genderqueer,” for example, is a “person whose gender identity is neither man nor woman, is between or beyond genders, or is some combination of genders.”

A “gender bender” is someone “who bends, changes, mixes, or combines society’s gender conventions by expressing elements of masculinity and femininity together.”

Similarly, someone who is “gender fluid” is a person “whose gender identification and presentation shifts, whether within or outside of societal, gender-based expectations.”

If someone self-identifies as “androgynous,” it means they are “appearing and/or identifying as neither man nor woman, presenting a gender either mixed or neutral.”

“Two spirit” individuals are Native Americans “who have attributes of both men and women, have distinct gender and social roles in their tribes, and are often involved with mystical rituals (shamans).”

If someone is “pangender,” their gender identity is comprised of all or many gender expressions.”

The full list of gender identities can be viewed online in a document provided by the city’s Commission on Human Rights.

The city’s gender identity guidance was issued in December but has been the subject of ongoing media attention in the past week. As noted by law professor Eugene Volokh, businesses can be fined up to six figures for knowingly using the “wrong” pronouns to refer to a customer or employee.

Seth Hoy, the Human Rights Commission’s press secretary, told TheDC that the guidance was issued to “ensure that every transgender individual in New York City is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve” but assured that that “accidentally” using the wrong pronouns “will not result in a fine.” His full statement is below:

The Commission’s legal guidance on gender identity protections under the NYC Human Rights Law addresses situations in which individuals intentionally and repeatedly target transgender and gender non-conforming people. Accidentally misusing a transgender person’s preferred pronoun is not a violation of the law and will not result in a fine. The Commission issued this guidance last year so that employers and individuals understand what the law says and to ensure that every transgender individual in New York City is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.

‘CORRUPTION IN FULL FORCE’: No GOP Ballots in Harlem, Voter Claims [PHOTOS]

Something fishy is going on in New York. Will be interesting to see the results. Do you think Republicans are being robbed?

The New York City Comptroller said hundreds of thousands may be dealing with polling problems on New York’s primary day.

CBS2’s Steve Langford reported Scott Stringer is going to audit the Board of Election due to the numerous polling problems across the city.

“Why is it alleged that 125,000 people have been removed from the voter rolls? Why did 60,000 people receive notices to vote that didn’t have the primary date? Why were people told they were in the wrong polling place time and time again?” Stringer said. “The next president of the United States could very easily be decided tonight and yet the incompetence of the Board of Election puts a cloud over these results.”

Many of the voting problems occurred early in the morning, 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria reported.

At one polling site at Carlton Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, the site coordinator didn’t even bother to show up and it took about an hour-and-a-half to find a replacement so the poll could open.

Television and radio contributor John Burnett took to Twitter to voice his complaints, saying that in Harlem he was told there were no GOP ballots available.ny01 ny01B

ny02He said he was told he’d have to wait for delivery.

Other voters said they were plagued by registry issues. One woman said if your last name was at the end of the alphabet at her polling site in Windsor Terrace, you had to vote affidavit.

Pristine Bible Page Found Fused To 9/11 Steel — What It Says Left Us In Awe

waving flagPosted on October 16, 2015 by Dom the Conservative

In March 2002, an unnamed firefighter discovered a fragment of rubble from the World Trade Center under Tully Road, a temporary truck route covering the remnants of the south tower, the New York Times reports.

Embedded in the metal was a damaged Bible, torn and singed from the horrific catastrophe. After he read the remaining words, he called over a nearby photographer, Joel Meyerowitz, to document the unbelievable message.

    “Retaliation.”

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”

Pristine Bible Page Found Fused To 9/11 Steel — What It Says Left Us In Awe

Of all the thousands of message within the holy book, Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, in the Gospel of Matthew, remained perfectly intact.

“This shredded, burned and rubble-covered Bible came to me from the loving hands of a fireman who knew that I was the record keeper of ground zero,” Mr. Meyerowitz said Thursday in an e-mail from Italy, where he now lives.

“My astonishment at seeing the page that the Bible was open to made me realize that the Bible’s message survives throughout time,” he said, “and in every era we interpret its teachings freshly, as the occasion demands.”

The chilling message not only accurately sums up the Islamic wrath upon New York City, but it prophetically warns America what will happen if it embraces its enemies — namely Islam.

Sharia law operates on an “eye for an eye” basis, as the Quran states that retaliation is commanded by Allah.

And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. [Quran 5:45]

The Islamic supremacy that spurred the event on 9/11 was in perfect accordance with Sharia law, Allah’s law. The retribution that the Muslim world felt was deserved came in the form terrorism against innocent Americans.

However, the Muslim world doesn’t see unbelievers as innocent. The Quran states numerous times that Allah has a hatred for non-Muslims and that the jihadists who fight with their lives against the unbelievers will be rewarded.

Although Jesus Christ preached and modeled a life a love, forgiveness, and peace, the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, who all Muslims are called to emulate, practiced pedophilia, racism, slavery, rape, murder, and conquest. The two doctrines are not only incompatible, they are complete opposites.

Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, this message serves as a warning to the U.S. We have invited in the very religious and political ideology that commands the overthrow of our Constitution and establishment of Sharia law.

“They claim to be providers of reproductive health care. I’m not sure how the little babies whose parts are being sold would feel about that statement,” he says, referring to the undercover videos that have been published. “To Planned Parenthood, this was a business decision. Instead of throwing the baby parts in the trash as normal, they chose to make a buck! Rex explained that, following a September press conference that introduced Cardinal Dolan as the 2015 Grand Marshal and explained the “change of policy,” the Wall Street Journal reported that a pro-life group would be able to march in the parade. Then, something changed.

“Dennis Saffran, in a well-documented article entitled “Parade Blarney” published in City Journal, the nation’s premier urban-policy magazine, (www.city-journal.org/2015/eon0313ds.html) chronicles the parade organizers’ obvious shenanigans that led to the “exclusion” of a pro-life banner while allowing the “inclusion” of a gay banner in the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City,” Rex said.

“History will now report that in 2015 there was “no room in the parade” for an organization dedicated to helping pregnant women. Fortunately, the Church of the Holy Innocents, extended a warm welcome to The Children First Foundation and to their banned “Choose Life” banner at their historic church at 128 West 37th Street, close to the parade route between Broadway and 7th Avenue,” Rex said.

Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, has withdrawn his support for the event because pro-life groups have been excluded. He said the reason for withdrawing his support “has to do with being betrayed by the parade committee. They not only told me one thing and did another, they decided to include a gay group that is neither Catholic nor Irish while stiffing pro-life Catholics. This is as stunning as it is indefensible.”cropped-different-free-speech-ideologies.jpg

NYPD Investigates Threats to Kill Officers on New Year’s Eve, Sources Say

    By Murray Weiss on December 31, 2014 | Updated December 31, 2014

Police are investigating threats made against officers on New Year's Eve.

NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD is investigating several threats to kill NYPD officers during New Year’s Eve celebrations, DNAinfo New York has learned.

Sources say there are several gang members on social media calling for New Year’s Eve to be “Kill a Pig Night” so that it will become “The New Year’s Eve Massacre 2014.”

The threats primarily come in tweets baring a host of vicious anti-NYPD hash tags including #@deadcopseveryday, #onlydeadcops, #wingsonpigs and #laughatyourdeaths, according to law enforcement sources.

One tweet reads: “Dear Police, Don’t think this can’t happen again” accompanied by a photo of armed Blank Panthers from the 1960s and 1970s, sources say.

Approximately 15 arrests have been made as result of the threats, NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said at a Times Square press conference.

“Any threat against my officer is going to be dealt with very quickly, very effectively,” he said. “We’re not going to let any of them go by the board.”

Police officials say the NYPD is on high alert, particularly in the wake of the Dec. 20 murder of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. Their assassin, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, took to Instagram that morning announcing he was coming to New York to kill police officers. Sources say the NYPD has received 63 threats since the shootings and there have been 16 arrests connected to them. There are presently 23 open investigations into threats against NYPD officers, a source said.

In addition to the deadly threats, various radical organizations are also calling for protests to disrupt the New Year’s Eve celebration, but the NYPD says it is prepared to safeguard the millions of revelers and protesters’ rights to demonstrate. War Drums

Arrests plummet 66% with NYPD in virtual work stoppage

By Larry Celona, Shawn Cohen and Bruce Golding

URL of the Original Posting Site: http://nypost.com/2014/12/29/arrests-plummet-following-execution-of-two-cops/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow

    It’s not a slowdown — it’s a virtual work stoppage.

NYPD traffic tickets and summonses for minor offenses have dropped off by a staggering 94 percent following the execution of two cops as officers feel betrayed by the mayor and fear for their safety, The Post has learned. The dramatic drop comes as Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and Mayor Bill de Blasio plan to hold an emergency summit on Tuesday with the heads of the five police unions to try to close the widening rift between cops and the administration. The unprecedented meeting is being held at the new Police Academy in Queens at 2 p.m., sources said.

    Angry union leaders have ordered drastic measures for their members since the Dec. 20 assassination of two NYPD cops in a patrol car, including that two units respond to every call. It has helped contribute to a nose dive in low-level policing, with overall arrests down 66 percent for the week starting Dec. 22 compared with the same period in 2013, stats show;

    • Citations for traffic violations fell by 94 percent, from 10,069 to 587, during that time frame.
    • Summonses for low-level offenses like public drinking and urination also plunged 94 percent — from 4,831 to 300.
    • Even parking violations are way down, dropping by 92 percent, from 14,699 to 1,241.
    • Drug arrests by cops assigned to the NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau — which are part of the overall number — dropped by 84 percent, from 382 to 63.

The Post obtained the numbers hours after revealing that cops were turning a blind eye to some minor crimes and making arrests only “when they have to” since the execution-style shootings of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

Police sources said Monday that safety concerns were the main reason for the dropoff in police activity, but added that some cops were mounting an undeclared slowdown in protest of de Blasio’s response to the non-indictment in the police chokehold death of Eric Garner.

Statistics obtained by The Post show a dramatic drop in NYPD activity between Dec. 22 — the first weekday after the double cop assassination — and Sunday, compared with the same period last year.

“The call last week from the PBA is what started it, but this has been simmering for a long time,” one source said.

“This is not a slowdown for slowdown’s sake. Cops are concerned, after the reaction from City Hall on the Garner case, about de Blasio not backing them.”

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association has warned its members to put their safety first and not make arrests “unless absolutely necessary.”

Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins told The Post he’s glad de Blasio is meeting with the unions, but worries that it’s just a publicity stunt.

“I’m disappointed in the issuance of a press release announcing the meeting, which now raises concerns of sincerity,” he said.

“Is this about politics or is it about working through problems?”

Lea Gabrielle reported on “Fox and Friends” this morning that a New York gang has allegedly threatened to “shoot it out” at two police precincts near where NYPD Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were murdered.

Gabrielle reported that security has been beefed up at both locations.tweet01

    PIX11 News reported:

Police are on high alert after receiving “credible” threats targeting two of their Brooklyn precincts days after the execution-style murders of two NYPD officers, according to the Sergeants Benevolence Association.

In tweets posted Tuesday night by the SBA, they warn of the Black Guerrilla Family, which allegedly threatened to “storm” the 79th and 81st Precincts and “shoot it out” with officers inside.

    […]

SBA told officers to carry their firearms at all times — on duty and off — and to stay in pairs.

Ray Kelly said on “Fox and Friends” that precincts need to efficiently disseminate information and officers need to have each other’s backs.

“It’s a difficult time, but the department has gone through these things through the years,” Kelly said.

As for Mayor Bill de Blasio’s comments that were critical of the NYPD, Kelly said he understands that de Blasio has a difficult job, but the mayor was out of line to side with protesters over police. In particular, Kelly was critical of de Blasio’s comments that he had to warn his biracial son to be careful around cops.

“Words matter,” Kelly said. “You don’t say that when you’re mayor of all the people.”

Muslims Go on Full Parade in NYC… This Picture is Sickening

    Obamacare

    http://conservativetribune.com/muslim-parade-nyc/

Is this the religion of peaceThe mainstream media and American left seem willing to go to almost any extreme to paint Islam as a religion of peace.

But the more Muslims themselves are allowed to voice their opinions, the harder that portrait is to believe.

Muslims in Europe, for example, protesting violence in the Gaza Strip, have engaged in violence against Jews. The antisemitism of a group of Palestinian Muslims was obvious at a recent demonstration in Florida, even though they did their best to hide it. And in the Gaza Strip, one Muslim cleric used a very telling visual aid during a recent sermon — an automatic rifle.

Now, Muslims have belied claims to follow a religion of peace once more, according to a report from The Blaze.

New York City’s recent 29th annual Muslim Day Parade featured a shocking float that included, of all things, a hanging. Pictures of the float are below.

There were other, more typical displays, of course: Girl Scouts in Muslim garb, flags, and pro-Islam floats.

The hanging float, however, was what many people probably remember most vividly about the parade. It featured a female mannequin clothed in the flag of Egypt and swaying on a noose.

“It’s unclear exactly what it was meant to represent,” the report says of the hanging.

    No kidding.

We’re not sure what the hanging is supposed to represent, either, but we can say one thing with a fairly high degree of certainty.

New York City Being Overwhelmed by Illegal Immigrant Children

struggling to deal with the explosion of illegal immigrant children brought about by the Obama administration’s failed policies.

The fallout is being felt most acutely in places with large immigrant populations, like New York, where newly arrived children and their relatives are flooding community groups, seeking help in fighting deportation orders, getting health care, dealing with the psychological traumas of migration, managing the challenges of family reunification and enrolling in school. “It’s almost like a refugee crisis,” said Steven Choi, executive director of the New York Immigration Coalition, an advocacy group.

And a lack of cooperation by Federal officials may not be making things any easier. They refuse to “reveal how many children they are holding, how many are being released or where they are being sent”.

Advocacy organizations in the New York region are reporting “a stunning rise in the number of unaccompanied minors seeking help in the past several months,” kicking into what many view as an already overwhelmed system.

“We are trying to triage,” said Emma Kreyche, organizing and advocacy coordinator for the group. “I don’t think anyone really knows what the scope of this is and how to see what’s coming down the pike and figure out how to respond.”

Ethnic cleansing in NYC: Almost 50% of 2012 abortions were black

Written by Michele Hickford, Editor-in-Chief on February 21, 2014

black-babyHorrific, horrific, horrific. According to the recently released Summary of Vital Statistics from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, ethnic cleansing is apparently occurring in the Big Apple.

In New York City, there were 56,000 black pregnancies in 2012. Of that total, 31,000 were aborted. That figure represents almost 50 percent of all abortions in New York City, despite the fact blacks represent less than 15 percent of the population. Read the report here.

Margaret Sanger’s grand plan for eugenics is a grand success in New York. It is progressives who fight most passionately for the policies and “freedoms” to allow this ethnic cleansing to occur. And conservatives are supposed to be the racist ones?
