Crying Honduran Child Who Became The Face Of Border Family Separation Was Never Separated From Family

She has become the poster child for family separation at the border — and the subsequent moral outrage against the Trump administration — but the crying Honduran child held up as a heartbreaking example of family separation at the border was, in fact, never separated from the parent with whom she illegally crossed the border into the U.S.

The two-year-old girl, Yanela, and her mother, Sandra, were detained in Texas after attempting to cross the Rio Grande river, and were held together.

“I know now that they are not in danger. They are safer now than when they were making that journey to the border,” Denis Javier Varela Hernandez told The Daily Mail of his daughter Yanela and wife Sandra. Hernandez also said the two were doing “fine.”

Hernandez added that he heard through family members his daughter and wife were not separated at the border when caught by Border Patrol.

“I don’t have any resentment for my wife, but I do think it was irresponsible of her to take the baby with her in her arms because we don’t know what could happen,” Hernandez said of Sandra and Yanela’s attempt to cross the border, adding that he would not attempt the trip himself.

The photo of Yanela crying has surged across various media outlets as a way to pinpoint the Trump administration for separating families at the border. TIME magazine recently came out with a photo of Trump staring down at the little Honduran girl.

However, as her father stated, the little girl was never actually separated from her mother as they both attempted to cross the border, making the TIME cover misleading at best.

“‘I wouldn’t risk my life for it,” Hernandez said of the journey to immigrate into the U.S. “It’s hard to find a good job here and that’s why many people choose to leave. But I thank God that I have a good job here. And I would never risk my life making that journey.”

Border Patrol Agent Reacts Angrily to Nazi Comparisons

A Border Patrol agent Thursday reacted angrily to media coverage of President Donald Trump’s since-rescinded policy of separating illegal immigrant parents from their children near the border.

Art Del Cueto, president of the U.S. Border Patrol Council chapter in Tucson, Arizona, expressed disgust during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” with some of the over-the-top comparisons of border agents to Nazi Germans during World War II. (He is pictured above, second from right.)

“It is sickening that certain members of the media have chosen to attack our president,” he said. “It is sickening that certain members of the media have chosen to attack Border Patrol agents and describe us as Nazis. That is just — it’s disgusting that you would even think that.”

The Trump administration sparked a firestorm in April with a so-called zero-tolerance policy, which called for criminal charges against first-time illegal border crossers, even if it meant separating parents from their children. Trump sought to contain the damage Wednesday with an executive order calling for families to be held together in temporary shelters when adults face criminal charges.

Del Cueto said Border Patrol agents are not mistreating children. He said he and other officers, in fact, often use their own money to buy food, toys and clothes to help foreign children that they encounter without adults. He recalled a recent incident in which a man tossed a kid over a border fence with a handwritten note asking help finding the child’s mother.

“To compare us to Nazis, that is just a whole new low,” he said. “That is just the most disgusting thing. These people are idiots for that comparison, or they need to go back to school and actually learn history.”

Fox News host Laura Ingraham played a clip of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) talking in 2014 about her visit to one of the temporary shelters used to hold illegal immigrant children on a short-term basis. Pelosi at the time praised the Border Patrol, which she said was doing the best it could under the circumstances. She offered none of the criticism about the conditions of the facility that have been heard so frequently over the past week.

What explains the stark difference from four years ago, considering that the facilities now described as “internment camps” are the same as they were in 2014?

“Well, now it’s 2018, and I think you look at a president who started his whole campaign and his presidency talking about building a wall, citing a whole group of people as rapists … There’s lots of misperceptions,” said Suzan Johnson Cook, a former adviser to Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama (pictured above, on the left).

Matt Schlapp, president of the American Conservative Union (ACU), accused the Left of hypocrisy.

“All President Trump was doing was following the law,” said Schlapp (pictured above, second from left). “This is very important for people to understand. He was following the law that President Obama had to follow, that the courts had established with the executive branch since the 1990s.”

Del Cueto said he finds it ironic that Border Patrol agents face demonization while parents who endanger their children win sympathy in the mainstream media.

“They’re such great parents that they’re giving their child to criminal organizations so they can put them in a trunk of a vehicle, so they can travel through the desert or travel through very dangerous areas,” he said.

Watch: Border Agent Expertly Flips Script on CNN, Leaves Host Speechless

The establishment media’s narrative is clear: President Donald Trump is inhumane and is separating families trying to illegally cross the border because he is a monster.

People across Twitter have picked up on the claims, and Peter Fonda even called for people to “rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage” so that Melania Trump will “stand up” to her husband.

So, it’s not okay for children who are not citizens of this country to be taken from their parents who have broken the law, but it’s totally okay to kidnap the president’s son and put him in a cage? Sounds a little hypocritical to me.

But CNN quickly ran into a roadblock when they tried to get a border patrol agent to admit that the conditions the kids were being kept in at the border were horrific.

Brooke Baldwin interviewed Chris Cabrera, a spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council, on CNN Tuesday to grill him on “these children being ripped from their parents,” The Daily Caller reported.

“I understand where you’re coming from. I don’t think everybody understands what is actually happening down here. You have a lot of these kids that are coming here and put through terrible, terrible situations by their parents. They are brought over in extremely dangerous conditions and extremely dangerous terrain,” Cabrera said.

“All this could be avoided if they just go through the port of entry. There would be no crime committed by them and they wouldn’t get separated. Why they don’t do this is beyond me, but this problem is very easily solved, at least on the short-term basis, by going through the port of entry. If they choose to go through the (Rio Grande) river, they’re committing a crime just like anyone else and they’re subject to arrest. And we know when you get arrested, you don’t get to stay with your family.”

Baldwin tries to break it down so that it looks like the illegal immigrants are the victims, and Cabrera clarifies that crossing the Rio Grande is illegal for both U.S. citizens and immigrants. She then asked about delays for asylum seekers and families being turned away at a port of entry with an “indefinite delay.”

Cabrera replies that that is exactly the problem. “We’ve had this situation going on for four years now. I don’t think you can necessarily blame it on one administration or the other. It started under one and is continuing under another. It hasn’t been fixed and it needs to be fixed.”

As Baldwin tries to interrupt, the border patrol agent continued, “Right now we have this beacon of, ‘We’ll leave the light on for you and let you come illegally into the country.’ If you’ve seen some of the stuff we’ve seen, you’d understand how important it is to have a tough stance to divert people from coming here.”

He then tells Baldwin about the horrors these children face because immigrants have been allowed to “take advantage of this system.”

“When you see a 12-year-old girl with a plan B pill, her parents put her on birth control because they know getting violated is part of the journey, that’s a terrible way to live. When you see a 4-year-old girl traveling alone with just her parents’ phone number written across her shirt. Something needs to be done. We had a 9-year-old boy have heat stroke in front of us and die with no family around. That’s because we’re allowing people to continue take advantage of this system.”

It is on Congress, Cabrera pointed out, to change these laws and get these problems fixed.

“They need to come in there, they need to get to work and they need to change this law,” he said. “Until then, us as border patrol agents, we have a duty to enforce these laws and we will continue to do it until they change this law and hopefully they will.”

Baldwin responded to these horrors and this call to Congress by asking for reassurance that the kids America is outraged about are being treated humanely, looking one last time to put the agent into a corner. And Cabrera flips the narrative again.

“I can tell you with absolute certainty that they are being treated humanely. Most of our agents are parents. I’ve seen guys, and I’ve done it myself, you give your last bottle of water to a kid, you’ll take a toy out of your car to give to one of these kids because you know the situation they’re in,” Cabrera said.

“Agents are very sympathetic. We’re human, we’re fathers, we have families. We do a lot for the communities here, whether or not a camera is involved. Our agents are very involved. And nobody saves more lives along the southwestern border than the U.S. Border patrol.”

So, it looks like the border patrol agents are not evil monsters after all. Cabrera makes a good point, despite what your opinions are about the situation, it is up to the lawmakers to make any changes. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has drafted executive orders for Trump to sign that wouldn’t end the zero-tolerance policy, but would instead try to keep families together while they are detained.

At least the Trump administration is trying to do something. Congressional Democrats, it’s your move.

This Weeks Ann Coulter Letter: “Google ‘Internet,’ Media!”

Journalists know absolutely nothing about immigration and refuse to learn, so when I cited the fraudulent “humanitarian” cases on TV Sunday night, I footnoted myself live on air, citing a New Yorker article as well as my book, “Adios, America,” which has nearly 100 pages of footnotes. That should make it easy for even the stupidest reporters.You haven’t met The Hill’s Jacqueline Thomsen! She was at a loss. The New Yorker? What’s that? Jacqueline thought and thought and thought, until her head hurt! Finally, she decided, as she wrote in The Hill, “It’s unclear what New Yorker article Coulter was referring to.”

Armed only with the information that there was an article in a tiny little publication known as “The New Yorker” about asylum applicants being coached on their fake asylum claims, how could an American reporter ever hope to locate “The Asylum Seeker” in the Aug. 1, 2011, New Yorker? Forget “Adios, America,” where it is cited, along with many, many other sources. I can’t read a BOOK, Thomsen thought to herself.

I Googled “New Yorker asylum,” and the article I was referring to came up as the third item in the list. Add “coaching” or “coached,” and it’s the very first item Google gives you. It took 3 seconds.

Thomsen: HOW DOES GOOGLE WORK, ANYWAY?

The New Yorker article begins with “Caroline,” an illegal alien from a middle-class family in Africa, who passed herself off to U.S. immigration authorities as a victim of rape and torture. As she admitted to The New Yorker, while giggling: “I have never been raped.” Fortunately, “Caroline had been tutored in how to act like a rape victim by her landlady in the Bronx, who hadn’t been raped, either, but had successfully applied for asylum.”

As she prepared to weep and lie through her interview with a very tough American immigration officer about her nonexistent torture and rape, Caroline said of the country she was lying her way into: “I don’t know why I didn’t just go back. They are racists and xenophobes here.”

Glad to have you, too, Caroline! (At least you’d make a better reporter than Thomsen.)

Luckily, we have the very best government officials reviewing asylum applications. (Pasted on the window of one immigration official’s office was a cover from the official Cuban Communist newspaper.) Caroline’s completely apocryphal asylum application was, naturally, approved.

Our immigration officials are so thorough, so hard to fool, that they granted Beatrice Munyenyezi asylum and citizenship, allowing her and her kids to live off the U.S. taxpayers for 10 years before federal prosecutors noticed, Hey! Munyenyezi wasn’t a victim of the Rwandan genocide; she was a perpetrator! Munyenyezi had personally sentenced thousands of Rwandan women and children to death.

And now the poor murderess has been SEPARATED FROM HER CHILDREN!

Crack reporter Thomsen must have missed that story, too. For her reading pleasure, assuming she can read: Chris McGreal, “Rwandan woman stripped of U.S. citizenship after lying about genocide,” The Guardian, Feb. 22, 2013.

One asylum applicant written about in The New York Times claimed she was being persecuted in Russia because she was gay. She told her immigration lawyer, “I’m not gay at all. I don’t even like gay people.” (For ace Hill reporter Thomsen, who is hopelessly confused about “books” and “Google,” the cite is: Sam Dolnick, “Asylum Ploys Play Off News to Open Door,” The New York Times, July 12, 2011.)

Usually, frauds are only exposed when the asylum applicant makes the news. You’d think one of these times, an asylee would become famous and we’d find out: Hey, this person really was fleeing persecution!

Nope. The pattern is: They make the news; we find out their asylum applications were total frauds.

Here are a few:

Ramzi Yousef was the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the Bojinka plot, as well as the nephew of 9/11 architect Khalid Sheik Mohammed. Poor Yousef almost didn’t make it through customs. Not only was his own passport of dubious provenance, but his traveling companion was carrying bomb manuals, car bombing videos — and instructions on how to lie to U.S. immigration inspectors. Yousef claimed asylum and was released into our country to execute the first WTC attack.

Sofitel hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo falsely accused the head of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, of rape. She had been granted asylum after memorizing a tape given to her by an American immigration activist about being gang raped in Guinea. (For Jackie “How does Google work?” Thomsen: That’s from the same Times article cited above.)

Amadou Diallo was all over the news after being killed by four New York City police officers in 1999. Only because of that, we found that, in his asylum application, he had claimed his parents had been murdered by the Mauritanian government. APPROVED! In fact, Diallo was born into a prosperous Guinean family and his parents were alive and well — and looking for a settlement from New York taxpayers. (For super reporter Thomsen, you’ll find that story here: Alan Feuer, “$3 Million Deal in Police Killing of Diallo in ’99,” The New York Times, Jan. 7, 2004.)

America is the most generous country on Earth, but — as The New York Times’ John Tierney demonstrated 20 years ago — even denizens of the “nicest” town lose patience when the third panhandler asks them for money. (For reporters who couldn’t find their asses if you drew them a map: John Tierney, “Mean Streets,” The New York Times, May 12, 1996.)

Our country is being victimized by a network of con-artist foreigners and America-hating left-wingers passing out fake papers, fake stories and fake scripts to Third-Worlders, who lie about seeking “asylum” to get in on the American gravy train and wreck our country.

And that’s in normal times.

The crisis on the border today is no ordinary asylum fraud. It’s a political stunt by a left-wing organization, “Pueblo Sin Fronteras” — People Without Borders — which believes, as its name suggests, that the U.S.A. has no right to have a border. This group has very publicly marched hordes of Latin Americans through thousands of miles of another country to demand entry into our country. Pueblo Sin Fronteras’ monthlong trek has been so well publicized that everyone in the country knows about it — except, apparently, our media.

The New York Times describes the horror thus: “At some border crossings, migrants are being forced to wait for days or longer in Mexico.”

Wait. Why don’t they just stay in Mexico? Isn’t Mexico a fantastic country with ZERO rapists? If not, maybe we should build something at the border — I don’t know, maybe a wall?

“Wall” is a one-syllable word, so even Jacqueline Thomsen can understand that.

Let’s do away with ignorance and learn our Bible and the Constitution, the true ingredients of the Masterpiece we call liberty.

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”

Let me quote Thomas Jefferson again…

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”

When Jefferson, the principal author of the American Declaration of Independence, wrote these words, he was expressing a truth that relatively few Americans appreciate today. You see, an elected or appointed official at the local, state, or national level is required to take an oath to defend the Constitution of both his state and the United States. His job, then, is to follow his oath. Fair enough…but what about the rest of us?

What is our job?

As citizens of our State or of these States united, our job is to make sure that office-holders follow their oath so we can remain the “Land of the Free.”

As you probably know by now, my family’s mission is to make sure that the foundational reasons for American liberty are taught and known. Almost every American I encounter knows that America is different than the rest of the world. Americans generally love America because we have amazing liberties, prosperity, opportunity, peace, education, entertainment, access and infrastructure. The troubling part about this love of country is that it is, for the most part, ignorant of any foundational reasons for the aforementioned.

Recently, my wife and I traveled to Colorado where I had the privilege to present to a number of individuals at the massive Colorado Home School Convention. I later brought some of my students from the convention to visit a champion of God-given rights, Jack Phillips of the Masterpiece Cakeshop.

We should all be so grateful that this man didn’t just sit back and ignorantly enjoy his liberty in America. When discriminated against, Jack stood and endured the warfare to preserve liberty for his family and future generations. Jack understood that one does not have a right to divest themselves of God-given rights. As a matter of fact, by asserting and victoriously defending his God-given right to practice his artistic expression within the moral boundaries of God’s Word, he helped defend all of our God-given rights.

But how can you or I do this if WE don’t know what the Constitution declares, or what it means? If we don’t know the rules, then how can we tell if they are being followed? If we don’t know these essential elements of citizenship – what used to be called “civics” – then it is difficult to object to direct affronts against our liberty. In short, if we are ignorant, it’s not long before we won’t be free.

Make no mistake; our American Liberty is simply the blessings of Almighty God and the bi-product of carefully following His Laws, which are the formula for a prosperous individual, family, Church, and Civil government. So let’s do away with ignorance and learn our Bible and the Constitution, the true ingredients of the Masterpiece we call liberty.

Here Are The Photos Of Obama’s Illegal Immigrant Detention Facilities The Media Won’t Show You

The media and political class become more and more outraged over the Trump administration’s decision to detain and prosecute immigrants illegally crossing the border. Lost in the debate is any acknowledgment that President Obama’s administration also used detention facilities.

Current U.S. immigration laws, when enforced, have the consequence of temporarily separating adults who arrive with children into separate detention facilities in order to prosecute the adults. The policy of prosecuting immigrants for crossing the border illegally has been in place for multiple administrations. The Obama administration prosecuted half a million illegal immigrants and similarly separated families in the process. So did the Bush administration.

Personal accounts from immigration lawyers tell a tale of Obama being equally concerned about unaccompanied minors traveling to the border and wanting to create a deterrent.

Photos of border detention facilities from the Obama-era, taken during 2014, look nearly identical to the ones taken during the Trump era. You never see them, however. Here they are, taken in 2014 during a media tour of Obama-era detention facilities in Brownsville, Texas, and Nogales, Arizona.

Border Ranchers Shock MSNBC With Facts On Illegal Immigration

A husband and wife who ranch on the Rio Grande river told MSNBC on Tuesday that they believe President Trump is doing the right thing by enforcing border laws.

MSNBC tried to ask the couple a multitude of leading questions about the separation of families when they cross the border illegally, but the ranchers continuously smashed their narrative.

“When you see parents and children separated why do you support the policy that, to many people, appears to be heartless?” MSNBC’s Kerry Sanders asked.

“It’s basically the laws of our land,” Presnall Cage said. “Trump I believe is going in the right direction. I believe it’s going to be a deterrent to keep this from happening.”

Sanders asked Stephanie Cage, “You’re a mother, you’re a grandmother of seven, um, how do you react when you see that the families are being split apart?”

“Of course it is very upsetting, but I’m as equally upset with the parents for exposing their children to the dangers of smuggling their children across the border,” Cage replied.

The Cage family also debunked the notion that the vast majority of illegal immigrants are fleeing violence, retorting, “That’s very much exaggerated … very few cases are caused by that, I think most of them are coming over here to try to make a better life in this country and all this country has to offer.”

OVERLOOKED In IG Report – Loretta Lynch Share Classified Information With Hillary’s Campaign

UPDATE: Amanda Renteria has denied these allegations for the past year.

This has to rank as one of the biggest stories to come out of the entire IG report.

IG Michael Horowitz told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Lorettaq Lynch was sending classified information to the Hillary campaign through Amanda Renteria, top Hillary advisor on “Hispanic woman position” . The information is so classified that he couldn’t even tell the committee what the information is. Imagine that. The DOJ colluding with Hillary, trying to affect a presidential election.

“Overlooked today: Top level Clinton 2016 campaign operative and AG Lynch were in communication with each other in 2016 and exchanging “highly classified” material that not even Horowitz can talk about.

“Reminder: Amanda Renteria is the “Hispanic Woman” mentioned in the Podesta emails”

“Amanda Renteria was imployed by Xavier Becerra, who was also in charge of the House Democratic Caucus whose server the Awan Bros stole info from.”

Lynch’s lawyer says she is cooperating with committee investigators, who are seeking answers to several questions, as well as relevant documents. Among other things, they want to know if she or any of her Justice Department staff “ever communicated with Amanda Renteria,” who headed Clinton’s political operations during the campaign. Renteria, who has been identified in the document as the senior Clinton campaign aide with whom Lynch privately communicated, has also been asked to testify.

The committee also wants to know if Lynch or any of her aides were in contact with former DNC chief Debbie Wasserman Schultz regarding the Clinton email investigation, according to a three-page list of questions that Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein recently sent to Lynch at her New York apartment.

Senate investigators have combed through a transcript of Lynch’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee in July 2016. In retrospect, several of her statements strain credulity. But one in particular stands out, and could present legal problems for Lynch.

During the House Judiciary hearing, Rep. David Trott (R-Mich.) slammed Lynch for failing to recuse herself from the Clinton investigation despite meeting privately with the target’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, a week before the then-attorney general let Hillary skate. Then, referring to rumors of her possibly staying on in a hypothetical Hillary administration, he asked if Lynch had met with anyone on Hillary’s staff during the yearlong investigation, to which she replied: “I have not spoken to anyone on either the campaign or transition or any staff members affiliated with them.”

Wow! Comey Refuses to Testify and McCabe Pleads The Fifth…Somebody’s Lying

On Monday James Comey, the fired FBI Director, refused to appear before Congress to discuss his handling of the Clinton email investigation.

The senate Judiciary Committee was investigating into the inspector general’s report with details in Mr. Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation. Comey has even been caught lying about his current location. His lawyer said he was out of the country, but Mr. Comey was recently spotted by a committee chairman in Iowa over the weekend. Looks like Comey is digging himself into a pit of disaster.

Additionally, Comey’s fired deputy, Andrew McCabe says he pleads his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. Loretta Lynch also failed to show up for an important hearing. It seems like the entire group of anti-Trump conspirators got cold feet and failed to testify before the House Intel Committee.

Comey, McCabe and Loretta Lynch were no-shows. Comey refused to show and McCabe took the fifth after he was refused immunity. McCabe’s lawyer Michael Bromwich sent a letter asking for immunity and threatened to take the fifth if he didn’t get it:

For these reasons, we urge this Committee to apply for a Court order compelling Mr. McCabe’s testimony and granting him use immunity. If this Committee is unwilling or unable to obtain such an order, then Mr. McCabe will have no choice but to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.

Committee Chairman Grassley ripped into Comey whose lawyer said he was out of the country: “He has time for book tours and television interview, but apparently no time to assist this committee.” Grassley also noted he saw Comey over the weekend in Iowa…OUT OF THE COUNTRY? Maybe he’s in Iran with his buddies.

The men have given conflicting information in testimony so one of them is lying.

McCabe says Comey knew he was giving info to the press… Comey disagrees.

During today’s hearing with IG Horowitz and FBI Director Wray, Sen. Ted Cruz got down to business when he said: “One or the other is not telling the truth. I don’t know which one”

Who is it? They need to be called on the carpet for this but the current FBI director can’t out the liar because it involves a current investigation. Yada, yada, yada…

The American people are still waiting for these people to be punished for their crimes…waiting.

Hillary Clinton recently attacked President Trump for his new “zero tolerance” policy.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the Trump administration is separating children from their parents at the southern U.S. border and it is a “moral and humanitarian crisis.” President Trump has defended his new immigration policy, which has separated almost 2,000 immigrant children away from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. There have been accounts of children being kept in cages and parents not sure where their children are.

The separation policy has come under increasingly strong criticism from the left. Hillary Clinton says she warned America during the campaign that this type of situation would happen. However, what people forget to remember is that Hillary ranted about needing to deport immigrant children back in 2014… Now that Trump is president, her entire opinion has changed.

Hillary Clinton has joined other liberals the past few days in bashing President Trump for the crisis at the border. She said, “every human being with a sense of compassion and decency, should be outraged,” and claimed Trump is “letting children suffer.”

This comes after spending the last 2 years calling Pres. Trump and his supporters “Racist” or “xenophobic” for wanting to enforce immigration laws.

But a video just surfaced that shows how empty Hillary’s words are and exposes her as the vile hypocrite she truly is.

While promoting her book on CNN in 2014, Hillary was asked whether or not children who arrive at our border should be deported or allowed to stay.

Watch this clip then spread it everywhere so we can expose her.

Hillary RANTS about how we have to deport them and “send a clear message” that just because children show up here “doesn’t mean the child gets to stay.” While this is a reasonable opinion shared by most Americans, Hillary Clinton in 2018 would now say that statement is racist.

On Monday the Trump administration fought against the harsh criticism from former first lady Laura Bush.

Laura Bush has bashed President Trump and his administration for his “zero tolerance” policy that has led to the separation of migrant families. Sarah Huckabee Sanders the White House press secretary and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen came together and blamed the past administrations and George W. Bush for initially making these immigration laws that have led to the current situation.

The law was actually signed in 2008. Trump and his administration were not the ones who created the crisis. He has inherited the problem and is the only President brave enough to fix it. Now the media is throwing out lies about the new “Border Policy” and Sarah Huckabee is not taking it lightly.

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders took the podium today and shot down the mainstream media LIES that have been spread over the weekend about immigration enforcement.

Specifically, Sarah was asked about Laura Bush’s comments calling the Trump Admin. policy “Immoral.”

Sarah did not hold back. She stood up for Pres. Trump and exposed Laura Bush as the hypocrite she truly is. (Video Below) This :40 second clip is going viral as Sarah proved once again you better be prepared if you’re going to attack President Trump.

“Frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under (Laura Bush’s) husband’s leadership, not under this administration…”

“We’re not the ones responsible for creating this problem. We’ve inherited it,” she added. “But we’re actually the first administration stepping up and trying to fix it.”

If you missed it, Laura Bush wrote an op-ed over the weekend where she said, “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.”

President Trump is already being attacked by Michelle Obama all the time, now George W. Bush’s wife is trying to tear him down as well?

This just shows how much Pres. Trump is upsetting the establishment and doing what he promised to do.

Now that Trump has solved Northeast Asia’s problems, maybe he can get to a problem in our country — in fact, within 10 miles of the White House. For some reason, The Washington Post recently ran an article on something important — the MS-13 gang presence at a public school on the outskirts of our nation’s capital, William Wirt Middle School in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The media’s usual approach to the diversity being inflicted on us is: Don’t report this! It’s better if no one knows. Maybe the left has decided it’s too late to do anything about the transformation of our country into a Third World hellhole, and Trump couldn’t stop it even if he wanted to.

The Post reported that, like many schools up and down the East Coast, MS-13 has turned Wirt into a battleground. There have been near-daily gang fights, rampant drug dealing, one reported rape, gang signs on the walls, one shooting — more in nearby schools — and teachers afraid to be alone with their students. At least two students are required to have security officers assigned to them, walking them from class to class and watching them during lunch hour, on account of MS-13 threatening to kill them.

How many different categories of immigrants require special law enforcement officers devoted to them? Thanks to mass Muslim immigration, the FBI has terrorist watch lists in ALL 50 STATES. That’s why whenever there’s a terrorist attack, the FBI says, Oh yeah, we were watching that guy. And now we have police bodyguards for kids at schools wherever “unaccompanied minors” have been dumped by our government.

In addition to the free school lunches, transportation, housing and health care to pay for all this wonderful diversity, immigrants are also massively ratcheting up law enforcement costs.

It would be enraging enough if bad things were happening to our country and the immigrants were paying for it. But we’re paying for it. Wait — you are offering to bring gang warfare, drug cartels and terrorism? We’ll go top dollar for that! Put your wallet away! Your money’s no good here!

Having made the odd decision to report factual information about immigration, The Washington Post was careful to include the gigantically irrelevant, painfully idiotic cliché: The “vast majority” of poor Latin Americans pouring into our country “enroll in school and stay out of trouble.”

Yes, and the vast majority of boa constrictors stay out of trouble too. Let’s put them in our schools! In fact, far fewer boa constrictors kill Americans each year than Latin American immigrants do. Less than one a year. And boa constrictors don’t undercut you at the construction site.

We never hear that “vast majority” argument about the policies that liberals like. The “vast majority” of gun owners never shoot up a school. The “vast majority” of smokers will never get lung cancer. The “vast majority” of Americans do not benefit from Wall Street profits.

Why are we subjecting ourselves to mass immigration at all? Hey, everyone, let’s all get an HIV injection! Don’t worry, the vast majority of us won’t get AIDS!

We’re certainly not doing it to be nice to Hispanics. They’ve been polled and polled and polled, and it turns out they DON’T want more people being brought in to take their jobs and drive down wages. Recent immigrants probably don’t want their useless brother-in-law from Chiapas sleeping on the couch either.

In the 2012 presidential campaign, Obama’s Spanish language ads didn’t make a peep about immigration. Instead, he bragged about giving everyone free health care. (Sidebar: Unmentioned were the millions of people who lost their health care, thanks to all that free health care for immigrants.)

Less than two years ago, Republicans watched the most anti-immigrant politician in a century be elected president, with every major institution in America against him. Trump won more of the Hispanic vote than any Republican in a generation.

The Chamber of Commerce knows that Hispanics didn’t come here to have their wages driven down by an unending stream of unskilled workers just like themselves. Republicans and Democrats know it. The only people who don’t know it are Americans who don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by opposing the constant importation of unskilled, poverty-stricken immigrants.

The reason for this transformation of our country, our culture and our politics is to flood the market with low-wage workers and Democratic voters. Obviously, those are losing arguments, so the beneficiaries of mass Third World immigration lie. They claim that anyone who doesn’t want to supply the rich with cheap labor must hate Hispanics.

Trump thought North Korea was hard? With immigration, we have all of the most influential forces in our culture on the same page. Immigration is a great unifier of the rich and powerful.

The rich are like sharks — all appetite, no brain. With their cheap labor voting 7-3 for the Democrats, it won’t be long until Democrats have a lock on government. What do you think they’ll do then, Business Roundtable? Answer: Make it impossible to do business. Google “California.”

With the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable and the Koch brothers’ incessant lobbying for more and more cheap labor, we see exactly what Lenin said about the capitalists: They will sell us the rope with which to hang them.

The rich don’t care. They can’t think beyond next quarter’s earnings.

The Republican in a Bar Who Refused to Get Mad

Note: Once again I received an email with an anonymous funny story, a joke really, about a Republican in a bar. No idea who to credit, but it’s funny enough and got enough truth in it that I have to share. Tami Jackson

A union boss walks into a bar from the factory next door and is about to order a beer when he sees a guy at the far end of the bar wearing a TRUMP “Make America Great Again” cap with two beers sitting in front of him.

The union boss doesn’t need to be an Einstein to know that this guy is a Republican, so he shouts over to the bartender so loudly that everyone can hear:

“Drinks for everyone in here, bartender…but not for the ‘Republican’!”

Soon after the drinks have been passed out, the Republican gives him a big smile, waves at him then says, “Thank you!” in an equally loud voice.

This infuriates the union boss.

After a few minutes, the union boss once again loudly orders drinks for everyone except the Republican. As before, this doesn’t seem to bother the Republican. He nods and smiles, and again yells, “Thank you!”

A few more minutes pass and the union boss orders another round of drinks for everyone except the Republican.

Just as before, this STILL doesn’t seem to faze the Republican who continues smiling and again yells out, “Thank you!!”

Frustrated that he can’t seem to get the guy angered, the union boss asks the bartender, “What is wrong with that Republican? I’ve ordered three rounds of drinks for everyone in the bar but him, and all the dummy does is smile and thank me. Is he nuts?”

“Nope,” replies the bartender. “He owns the place.”

Something Very Personal

For those of you that know my mom. Mom was admitted to PIH in Whittier Sunday morning with 228/100 BP, tightness on her chest, and difficulty breathing. After many test, a CT Scan and MRI, it was determined that she has a lot of fluid around, AND in her lungs. Congestive heart failure, and a lesion on her Pancreases. Her doctor said today that her kidneys are shutting down because they cannot handle all the excess fluids. Dialysis is questionable, more likely hospice. Her doctor gives her about a month.

Dad is not handling all this well. After 74 years of marriage, that is understandable. He does not know yet about the doctors last report.

Without asking, I know you will be praying for the family, especially for dad. Before you ask, yes, I am doing good. I have been seeing this come on for about a year. God is keeping me. He is my ABBA FATHER, and already started the comforting process.

In case you are wondering, mom is 91 years old (January 27, 1927).

Establishment Media Silent: Trump Gets Unexpected Surprise Courtesy Of Singapore Citizens

Since President Donald Trump’s first day in office, the liberally biased mainstream media has perpetuated the narrative that Trump is largely despised both at home and abroad, and that in other nations he is almost universally viewed as an embarrassment to the American people.

Thus, it came as no surprise whatsoever when the U.S. media essentially ignored the reception Trump received from cheering supporters upon his arrival Sunday in Singapore ahead of a high-stakes summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Coverage of the cheering crowds greeting Trump would directly contradict the “Trump is hated” narrative the mainstream media outlets push every day, so they simply ignore it and choose not to cover it.

According to a series of photos published by The Daily Caller, the president received a boisterous welcome from not just U.S. citizens who live in Singapore, but also from Singaporean citizens as well.

A couple photos show a pair of young American women wearing red MAGA hats and waving American flags, with one of the girls even wearing a pair of patriotic socks emblazoned with Trump’s name.

Other photos show citizens of Singapore, young and old alike, waving U.S. flags and holding signs expressing support for Trump and appreciation for his efforts at securing peace for the Korean Peninsula and broader Asian region.

Fans of the president had gathered at the airport to greet his arrival, and lined the streets of the route used to transport him via presidential motorcade to the Shangri-La Hotel, as well as the Singaporean prime minister’s residence, the Istana Palace.

According to The U.K. Independent, Trump landed in Singapore at about 8:20 p.m. local time, and proceeded directly to the hotel.

“It’s exciting, but I am also anxious,” a Trump-supporting woman, identified only by her first name as Kim, told the Independent. “Kim (Jong Un) can change his mind at any time. Mr. Trump also likes to get his own way.

“But if it works, it’s for the good of the whole world. It will make history,” she added.

That view was echoed by a 16-year-old U.S. citizen student named Christine McDougal, who lives in Singapore and cheered the president’s arrival with a friend.

“This is a such an important moment,” McDougal told the Independent, in what can only be described as an understatement.

Meanwhile, apart from the cheering crowds and pomp and circumstance of a major geopolitical summit, Christian leaders across Singapore were urging their church members and attendees to pray for God’s will to be reflected upon the high-stakes meeting, according to the Washington Examiner.

Anglican and Catholic church leaders alike asked that God provide wisdom and guidance to both Trump and Kim and prayed that they would find success as they sought to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and bring closure to a state of war that has been technically in effect since the 1950s.

Whether you fall into the category of those wildly cheering for Trump to emerge victorious from the meeting with a fierce communist rival or are praying that God’s hand will touch both leaders and guide them during the meeting — or both — there is no doubt that all eyes are on Singapore right now.

It would be nice if the U.S. media would cover all aspects of the summit — including the warm reception given to Trump — instead of not so subtly hoping for his failure, if only to rob the president they despise of yet another “win” he can tout with voters ahead of the 2020 election.

Never underestimate Donald Trump. The liberals and the media does and he makes them look like fools. Now, we shouldn’t expect any big announcements from the summit but it will be a success if they say that a second summit is planned because that means no one is asking for something the other can’t or won’t give.

But again, this is President Trump we are talking about. The two met and had a cordial handshake and a smile. The President was going to meet alone with Kim 45 minutes before the larger summit begins. It is currently morning in Singapore and the summit is in full swing.

The funny thing is that Democrats are telling everyone the talks are doomed but the ones saying that are the ones who failed to stop the nuclear testing. This summit is driving them mad not because they think it will be a failure but because they are afraid of it being successful and lead to something substantial. Because, if that happens, Democrats have no chance in 2020.

They began their historic summit with a handshake that few thought they’d ever see between the leaders of the longtime adversaries.

Then, hours later, they emerged to sign the document, which Trump called “very important” and “pretty comprehensive.”

“We’re very proud of what took place today. I think our whole relationship with North Korea and the Korean Peninsula is going to be a very much different situation than it has been in the past,” Trump said as he sat beside Kim, smiling and signing the papers.

“We both want to do something. We both are going to do something. And we have developed a very special bond. So people are going to be impressed. People will be very happy and we’re going to take care of a very big and very dangerous problem for the world. I want to thank Chairman Kim.”

The North Korean leader echoed Trump’s optimism and declared that “the world will see a major change” as he and the president “decided to leave the past behind” by holding the Singapore summit.

Hours earlier, Trump and Kim began the five-hour event by walking onto a red carpet decorated with American and North Korean flags and greeting each other like old friends. It was a far cry from the nearly 70 years of enmity between the nations — including an eruption of tensions earlier this year, when Trump and Kim exchanged insults in the wake of provocative missile tests by the North.

“I feel really great. We’ll have a great discussion,” the president told reporters after he and Kim entered a meeting room where they sat across from one another at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s lush resort island of Sentosa. “We will have a terrific relationship.”

There was discord during the buildup to the G7 meetings of rich nations in Quebec. Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau thinks Trump considers Canada a threat to the U.S. And he was insulted.

But President Trump says he had to hit American allies with high tariffs for national security reasons.

Then on Thursday, which happened to be the D-Day anniversary, French President Macron took a shot at Trump saying, “No leader is forever.” He also said, “the six G7 countries without the U.S. are bigger than the American market.”

The next day Trump waded into the meetings insisting that Russia be included. He’s apparently unfazed by the Mueller collusion probe.

Former Trump Enemy Ted Cruz Pushes 7 Major Trump Victories for Faith, Family and Life

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas praised the Trump administration Thursday for seven major victories he said it accomplished “for faith, for family — for the values that we share.” Cruz made the remarks at the 2018 Road to Majority conference hosted by the Faith & Freedom Coalition.

He lauded the current presidential administration for making significant advances for the protection of religious liberty, individual rights concerning education and family, the defense of the unborn and foreign policy that reversed Obama-era deals.

“Let’s start with number one — judges,” Cruz said. “Principled, constitutionalist judges.”

Cruz mentioned the Trump administration’s victory concerning the nation’s courts with the appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch, as well as the Supreme Court’s recent ruling in the Colorado bakery case.

“The so-called Colorado Civil Rights Commission demonstrated an antipathy, an animosity to faith that was visceral,” Cruz said. The Supreme Court, however, ruled that “you cannot discriminate against religious faith,” he added, instead of ruling they must be forced to violate their consciences.

“That is not narrow,” Cruz added. “That is a bedrock principle of our First Amendment and of our nation.”

“A second victory concerns life,” Cruz continued, lauding the Trump administration’s “return of the Mexico City rules,” which prevented the U.S. from providing foreign aid to fund abortions in other countries.

Other facets of the administration’s victory for life, according to Cruz, include the new Health and Human Services rules preventing tax funding for health clinics that provide abortions, as well as the dismissal of the litigation against the Little Sisters of the Poor and the repeal of the “abhorrent so-called contraceptive mandate in Obamacare.”

“Here’s a really good rule of thumb,” Cruz said. “If you’re litigating against nuns, you’ve probably done something wrong. It’s a wonderfully reliable checklist.”

The third victory for Cruz was the historic tax cut Congress passed in December, which he said provided more money for the majority of American citizens by “cutting taxes on small businesses, cutting taxes on farmers, cutting taxes on families.”

Cruz then advocated for the implementation of a flat tax and declared Americans “should abolish the IRS.”

The Trump administration scored a fourth victory, according to Cruz, with the repeal of the Obamacare individual mandate. He acknowledged, however, that the repeal of the Affordable Care Act was “the Republican Party’s biggest unkept promise” and urged the party to keep fighting for that outcome.

The final three victories Cruz said the Trump administration achieved for the nation and its values were the passage of “school choice” legislation, Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and Trump’s “right decision to withdraw from the disastrous Obama Iran nuclear deal.”

“Seven victories and more to come,” Cruz said in closing.

Watch: Woman Lifts Table, Rips Fliers, Dances and Screams at Conservative Students

Nothing says “enlightened and tolerant” quite like assault and property destruction. A liberal university student was caught on camera committing both, after she was “triggered” by conservative students telling the truth about socialism.

During an event held at Santa Clara University, the conservative group Turning Point USA hosted a peaceful anti-socialist demonstration. According to Campus Reform, local students held an event May 31 that recognized the millions of innocent people killed under socialist and communist regimes.

Estimates vary, but the death toll from far-left governments is believed to be in the tens of millions, if not more.

The Black Book of Communism, published by Harvard University, estimates a death toll of near 100 million from communism and socialism, with the Soviet Union and China responsible for the most atrocities.

One liberal, however, couldn’t handle being calmly presented with facts.

“Incensed by the display, an outraged individual approached the TPUSA students as they were tabling nearby, ripping up their anti-socialist posters and calling them ‘a bunch of f—ing Trump supporters,” reported Campus Reform.

The tirade was also captured on video.

“(T)he student was seen standing close to the student organizers and ripping one of the event posters that was taped to their table. The activist also vocally defended some socialist governments, and criticized capitalist exploitation of poor nations,” the outlet reported.

Apparently destroying someone else’s property is completely fine as long as you claim to stand with the poor, while ignoring the appalling poverty of socialist nations like Venezuela.

The radical liberal’s rant became even more physical.

“In addition to her verbal tirade, the instigator also allegedly attempted to flip over the chapter’s table in the direction of several student members and slap the phone of TPUSA chapter president Rhaaghav Kanodia out of his hand,” Campus Reform stated.

When a military cadet with a college ROTC group tried to talk to the woman, she insulted his uniform and declared it was only used “to shoot brown people.” Classy.

For their part, the conservative students kept their cool.

“According to the video obtained by Campus Reform, as well as eyewitness testimony, not a single member of the TPUSA chapter physically confronted the instigator. Instead, the students calmly attempted to hold a conversation with the activist before asking her to leave the area,” that outlet reported.

“When the chapter president asked the woman to ‘please be respectful or leave,’ the instigator told him to ‘sit your a– down’ and ‘shut the f— up,’ according to witnesses. The woman ultimately fled the area when campus security approached the scene.”

Student members of Turning Point USA expressed frustration that even when presented with evidence, campus officials do almost nothing to protect conservative free speech or hold out-of-control leftists accountable for their actions.

The ability to deal with uncomfortable information, and to calmly debate a topic of disagreement, is the hallmark of an adult, educated person.

Increasingly, it looks like liberal college students are graduating with paper degrees, but almost no tolerance for other people or diverse views.

The Southern Poverty Law Center helps Facebook, Amazon, Google and Twitter determine what organizations are “hate groups”
Amazon gave the SPLC the most direct authority while pretending to remain unbiased

Four of the world’s biggest tech platforms have working partnerships with a left-wing nonprofit that has a track record of inaccuracies and routinely labels conservative organizations as “hate groups.”

Facebook, Amazon, Google and Twitter all work with or consult the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in policing their platforms for “hate speech” or “hate groups,” a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found.

The SPLC is on a list of “external experts and organizations” that Facebook works with “to inform our hate speech policies,” Facebook spokeswoman Ruchika Budhraja told TheDCNF in an interview.

Facebook consults the outside organizations when developing changes to hate speech policies, Budhraja said, noting that Facebook representatives will typically hold between one and three meetings with the groups.

Citing privacy concerns, the Facebook spokeswoman declined to name all the outside groups working with Facebook, but confirmed the SPLC’s participation.

Budhraja emphasized that Facebook’s definition of “hate group” is distinct from the SPLC’s definition and said that Facebook consults with groups across the political spectrum.

The SPLC accused Facebook in a May 8 article of not doing enough to censor “anti-Muslim hate” on the platform. That article did not disclose the SPLC’s working partnership with Facebook.

“We have our own process and our processes are different and I think that’s why we get the criticism [from the SPLC], because organizations that are hate organizations by their standards don’t match ours,” Budhraja said.

That doesn’t mean that we don’t have a process in place, and that definitely doesn’t mean we want the platform to be a place for hate but we aren’t going to map to the SPLC’s list or process,” she said.

Of the four companies, Amazon gives the SPLC the most direct authority over its platform, TheDCNF found.

While Facebook emphasizes its independence from the SPLC, Amazon does the opposite: Jeff Bezos’ company grants the SPLC broad policing power over the Amazon Smile charitable program, while claiming to remain unbiased.

“We remove organizations that the SPLC deems as ineligible,” an Amazon spokeswoman told TheDCNF.

Amazon grants the SPLC that power “because we don’t want to be biased whatsoever,” said the spokeswoman, who could not say whether Amazon considers the SPLC to be unbiased.

The Smile program allows customers to identify a charity to receive 0.5 percent of the proceeds from their purchases on Amazon. Customers have given more than $8 million to charities through the program since 2013, according to Amazon.

Only one participant in the program, the SPLC, gets to determine which other groups are allowed to join it.

Christian legal groups like the Alliance Defending Freedom — which recently successfully represented a Christian baker at the Supreme Court — are barred from the Amazon Smile program, while openly anti-Semitic groups remain, TheDCNF found in May. One month later, the anti-Semitic groups — but not the Alliance Defending Freedom — are still able to participate in the program.

Twitter lists the SPLC as a “safety partner” working with Twitter to combat “hateful conduct and harassment.”

The platform also includes the Trust and Safety Council, which “provides input on our safety products, policies, and programs,” according to Twitter. Free speech advocates have criticized it as Orwellian.

A Twitter spokeswoman declined to comment on the SPLC specifically, but said the company is “in regular contact with a wide range of civil society organizations and [nongovernmental organizations].”

Google uses the SPLC to help police hate speech on YouTube as part of YouTube’s “Trusted Flagger” program, The Daily Caller reported in February, citing a source with knowledge of the agreement. Following that report, the SPLC confirmed they’re policing hate speech on YouTube.

The SPLC and other third-party groups in the “Trusted Flagger” program work closely with YouTube’s employees to crack down on extremist content in two ways, according to YouTube. free speech def

First, the flaggers are equipped with digital tools allowing them to mass flag content for review by YouTube personnel. Second, the groups act as guides to YouTube’s content monitors and engineers who design the algorithms policing the video platform, but may lack the expertise needed to tackle a given subject.

The SPLC is one of over 300 government agencies and nongovernmental organizations in the YouTube program, the vast majority of which remain hidden behind confidentiality agreements.

The SPLC has consistently courted controversy in publishing lists of “extremists” and “hate groups.” The nonprofit has been plagued by inaccuracies this year, retracting four articles in March and April alone.

The well-funded nonprofit, which did not return a request for comment, deleted three Russia-related articles in March after challenges to their accuracy followed by legal threats. All three articles focused on drawing conspiratorial connections between anti-establishment American political figures and Russian influence operations in the United States.

The SPLC removed a controversial “anti-Muslim extremist” list in April, after British Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz threatened to sue over his inclusion on the list. The SPLC had accused the supposed-extremists of inciting anti-Muslim hate crimes. (RELATED: SPLC Pulls Controversial ‘Anti-Muslim Extremist’ List After Legal Threats)

Somali-born women’s rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali also made the list.

Ali, a victim of female genital mutilation who now advocates against the practice, is an award-winning human rights activist. But according to the SPLC’s since-deleted list, she was an “anti-Muslim extremist.”

Ali criticized Apple CEO Tim Cook in August 2017 for donating to the SPLC, which she described as “an organization that has lost its way, smearing people who are fighting for liberty and turning a blind eye to an ideology and political movement that has much in common with Nazism.”

Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon who is now the secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, was surprised to find out in February 2015 that the SPLC had placed him on an “extremist watch list” for his conservative beliefs.

“When embracing traditional Christian values is equated to hatred, we are approaching the stage where wrong is called right and right is called wrong. It is important for us to once again advocate true tolerance,” Carson said in response.

“That means being respectful of those with whom we disagree and allowing people to live according to their values without harassment,” he continued. “It is nothing but projectionism when some groups label those who disagree with them as haters.”

Following a backlash, the SPLC apologized and removed him from their list. Carson was on the list for four months before the SPLC removed the “extremist” label.

Floyd Lee Corkins, who attempted a mass shooting at the conservative Family Research Center in 2012, said he chose the organization for his act of violence because the SPLC listed them as a “hate group.”

The SPLC has faced tough criticisms not just from conservatives, but from establishment publications, as well.

“At a time when the line between ‘hate group’ and mainstream politics is getting thinner and the need for productive civil discourse is growing more serious, fanning liberal fears, while a great opportunity for the SPLC, might be a problem for the nation,” Ben Schreckinger, now with GQ, wrote in a June 2017 piece for Politico.

Washington Post Reporter Megan McArdle, while still reporting for Bloomberg, similarly criticized the SPLC’s flimsy definition of “hate group” in September 2017. Media outlets who trust the SPLC’s labels, McArdle warned, “will discredit themselves with conservative readers and donors.”

This Week’s Ann Coulter Letter: “I Have a Dream … About Gay Wedding Cakes”

The Supreme Court’s recent decision on whether a Christian baker can be forced to make a wedding cake for a gay marriage (no) arriving on the same day that Bill Clinton reared his syphilitic head on NBC’s “Today” reminded me how liberals always use black people as props.

Midway through the last century, bedrock legal principles about property rights and freedom of association were abrogated to deal with a specific, intractable problem: We could not get Democrats to stop discriminating against blacks.

So Republicans, with very little Democratic help, passed a slew of laws saying: No, even though you own that restaurant, you cannot discriminate against black customers. And no, even though we are a free people, you cannot refuse to associate with black people in your clubs, universities or sports teams.

This should have been a one-time exception to the law for one specific group of people based on an emergency.

But Democrats, never wild about freedom in the first place, saw “civil rights” as a great gig. Instead of civil rights being used to remedy historic injuries done to a specific group of people, they’d use “civil rights” as a false flag for all their pet projects.

Just six years after passage of the historic 1964 Civil Rights Act, Democrats in New York had dropped black people from the equation and moved onto legalized abortion. State senator Manfred Ohrenstein of Manhattan explained why killing the unborn was a “right”: “It was the end of the civil rights era, and we viewed [abortion] as a civil right.”

In the 1991 case Kreimer v. Morristown, a Carter-appointed federal district judge, H. Lee Sarokin, ruled that a public library’s discrimination against smelly, frightening homeless people violated the equal protection clause because it had a “disparate impact” on people who refuse to bathe compared to those who bathe regularly. Three years later, President Clinton promoted him to an appellate judgeship. (The judge, not the homeless person.)

In 2007, then-governor Eliot Spitzer vowed that “New York state will continue to be a beacon of civil rights” — when proposing a state law that would guarantee access to late-term abortions.

In June 2012, The New York Times chirpily reported “gay rights the fastest-moving civil rights movement in our nation’s history”!

These days, you could be forgiven for not realizing that civil rights ever had anything to do with black people. According to Equal Opportunity Employment Commission statistics, for a least a decade, 65 percent of all “civil rights” claims have had absolutely nothing to do with race discrimination.

The gay wedding cake caper is only the most recent example of our majestic “civil rights.”

Instead of basing favored treatment under the law on a history of brutal and widespread injustice in America, liberals thought it should also be based on other forms of suffering, such as: being a woman, being a Muslim, wanting an abortion, having been born in Mexico, being a smelly homeless person stinking up the public library and — according to Ruth Bader Ginsburg this week — being a gay couple who wants to force a Christian to bake a cake for your wedding.

It must make blacks feel great being compared to daft women, smelly homeless people and bossy gays harassing a Christian baker.

And apes!

Princeton ethics professor Peter Singer compares black people to apes, citing the black liberation movement as a model for the liberation of apes. We must “extend to other species,” Singer says, “the basic principle of equality” that we extend “to all members of our own species.”

This wasn’t an Ambien-induced Twitter rant by a comedian. Singer wrote it, calmly and deliberately, in a book on “ethics.”

Still, I believe the greatest insult black Americans have had to endure from liberals was when they called Bill Clinton the “first black president.”

I notice that he was not the first black president when Democrats were singing Fleetwood Mac at his inauguration, nor when he was appointing the first woman attorney general or passing welfare reform. Only after Clinton was caught in the most humiliating sex scandal in U.S. history did he suddenly become “the first black president.” (Which is not true, according to Monica Lewinsky’s description of Clinton’s private parts.)

During the House impeachment hearings, Rep. Maxine Waters ferociously defended Clinton, saying, “I am here in the name of my slave ancestors.” She said she had woken up in the middle of the night, “with flashes of the struggles of my African ancestors for justice.”

What this had to do with Clinton perjuring himself about molesting a chubby Jewish White House intern was anyone’s guess.

Always the master of subtlety, as soon as the Lewinsky scandal broke, Clinton promptly invited the Rev. Jesse Jackson to the White House to “pray” with him. Two months later, he took off on an 11-day, six-nation $43 million trip to — guess where? Africa!

Haven’t black people suffered enough without this horny hick piggybacking on their oppression?

Andrew McCabe Seeks Immunity For Senate Testimony

Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, is seeking immunity in order to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to documents released Tuesday. “This is a textbook case for granting use immunity,” Michael Bromwich, an attorney for McCabe, wrote Monday in a letter to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the chairman of the judiciary panel.

“Mr. McCabe is willing to testify, but because of the criminal referral, he must be afforded suitable legal protection,” Bromwich said. “Accordingly, we hereby request that the Judiciary Committee authorize a grant of use immunity to Mr. McCabe.”

Grassley invited McCabe and other FBI officials to a hearing tentatively scheduled for July after the expected release of a Justice Department inspector general’s report on the FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation. McCabe was fired in March, two days before his retirement, for a “lack of candor” during interviews with the office of the inspector general (OIG) and the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility about his role in authorizing FBI contacts with the media about the Clinton probe.

The OIG found McCabe gave misleading statements in three interviews when asked whether he authorized former FBI lawyer Lisa Page to talk to The Wall Street Journal about the investigation in October 2016. McCabe also falsely claimed he told then–FBI Director James Comey, his boss, about the media outreach. (RELATED: It’s Andrew McCabe Versus James Comey)

Comey has gone on the record disputing McCabe’s claims. Bromwich decried “a stream of leaks” from the Justice Department about McCabe’s case in his letter to Grassley. He said leaks from the agency revealed the OIG made a criminal referral on McCabe to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.

“Even though Mr. McCabe committed no crime, these leaks have forced us to acknowledge the criminal referral,” said Bromwich, who added that he and McCabe “are outraged by these leaks.”

Bromwich issued the complaint despite the leak allegations against his client. The OIG found McCabe attempted to blame other FBI officials for the very same media contacts that he authorized Page to make with The Wall Street Journal, according to a preliminary report released on April 13. Bromwich noted the Senate Judiciary Committee is “eager to hear Mr. McCabe’s testimony” in his immunity pitch.

Immunity is warranted because “Mr. McCabe is eager to give such testimony; he has a legitimate fear of criminal prosecution based on the criminal referral that has already been made, the irregularities in the process by which he was terminated, and the improper command influence that continues to be exercised by the President of the United States.”

Bromwich has accused President Donald Trump of improperly targeting McCabe in a series of tweets about political donations that McCabe’s wife received in 2015 from then–Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe of Virginia, a longtime Clinton ally.

Grassley said he plans to consult with California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the judiciary panel, to consider the immunity request.

He noted an immunity order would require a two-thirds majority vote and that “even if that were to occur, the Justice Department would then have a formal opportunity to delay any testimony and attempt to persuade the Committee not to proceed.”
