UNSEALED BOMBSHELL: FBI Notes Reveal Plan to Coerce Gen. Flynn into Lying to Remove Him From The White House

Reported by   | April 29, 2020

New unsealed FBI notes on the planned interrogation of Michael Flynn suggest a questionable intent to the investigation of the then-White House National Security Advisor and retired general.

The notes, which preceded the January 24th, 2017 interview of Flynn, suggest the investigating FBI agents were more interested in tripping up Flynn in a lie than in genuinely investigating the National Security Advisor’s negotiations with Russia during the White House transition period preceding President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

If we’re seen as playing games, WH will be furious

FBI agents question openly if they’re trying to investigate Flynn for negotiating potential sanctions relief with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, or if they’re simply trying to trip him up in a lie for them to charge him with. Flynn was ultimately forced to resign as White House National Security Advisor and charged with lying to the FBI as a result of the January 2017 interview.

Flynn has merely been charged with process crimes. He was never charged with violations of the Logan Act, which restricts civilians from negotiating with foreign governments on behalf of the United States without authorization.

The retired general recently announced he’d seek to change his guilty plea to the charges to not guilty, citing a legal team that shoehorned him into making the plea. If so, Flynn could potentially bring up the questionable FBI game plan going into his interview as an argument for the agency’s impropriety in investigating him.

BREAKING: Former FBI General Counsel James Baker Has Flipped! Durham is Building Conspiracy Case on All of Those Who Lied to the Court!

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova was on the Howie Carr Show this week and he provided some more inside information regarding General Flynn’s case and the unraveling of the coup to remove President Trump from office.

Former US Attorney was on with Howie Carr again this week and he dropped some more bombshells about the current investigation of the investigators involved in removing President Trump and his team from office.

diGenova discussed the Durham investigation and said at the 5:30 mark that Durham is building a conspiracy case and anyone who lied to the court will be indicted for obstruction of justice charges:

The bottom line is this, it’s unfolding and what’s happening is, what Durham is actually doing is he’s painting a picture and not everyone of these acts is going to be a specific separate crime.  But they are going to be, what’s called overt acts in a conspiracy.  One to defraud the United States government.  One to deny the civil rights of Trump and Flynn and Page and a bunch of other people.

At the 8:55 mark diGenova drops another bomb when discussing the notes that were released today that show the government was actively working to frame General Flynn:

DiGenova: You know Baker is now working with Durham.  James Baker the former General Counsel.

Carr: He’s flipped?

DiGenova: Who was a target, is now understandably cooperating because he was looking at a boat load of criminal charges.  Once these notes were discovered, and by the way, these were the notes that [FBI Director] Chris Wray and Dana Boente did not want turned over.

At the 10:30 mark, diGenova discussed the General Flynn case that is falling apart on the Mueller gang as we speak.  Hero General Flynn was set up and framed by Obama’s Deep State.  He was illegally spied on and coerced into a guilty plea by the Mueller gang and his then attorneys by threatening to arrest and indict his son.  Neither Flynn or his son committed any crimes.

During a status hearing before his sentencing date, the judge overseeing his case went crazy, accusing General Flynn of treason.  deGenova explains:

I have no idea what’s in the mind of Judge Emmet Sullivan who used to seem like he was a really disinterested kind of noble guy.  He proved that right in the Ted Stevens case.  But his comments during the final status hearing before he set a sentencing date for General Flynn were so awful and so fundamentally stupid and we found out, we did an analysis, my Victoria and I did an analysis of the statements he made on the record.  We got the transcript.

Remember when he came out and he accused the General of committing treason and started asking him a series of questions that the prosecutors, who were fumbling, they didn’t know how to answer him?  He said in a series of statements, the judge did, exact words, line for line that Rachel Maddow had said the night before on her  show when commenting on the upcoming Flynn hearing.  It’s scary and if that’s what this guy is looking at before he comes out on the bench, he came out after a break and apologized for using the word treason, but his conduct since then has been bizarre.  I don’t know whether the guy’s sick, old or not ready for prime time anymore.  It seems to be a disease that’s prominent in Washington DC.  Biden can’t talk.  Pelosi can’t talk. The judge in the Flynn case can’t talk.  It’s amazing.

DiGenova went on to suggest that the President is going to pardon Roger Stone or do something before he’s put in jail.  The judge in that case, Amy Berman Jackson, was horrible, as we’ve reported numerous times at this news site.

Obama’s crooks in the Deep State FBI, DOJ and Intel communities cannot go to jail soon enough.  If they committed treason, they should be dealt with promptly.

University Won’t Release 1,850 Boxes of Biden Records That Could Confirm Tara Reade’s Story

Reported By C. Douglas Golden | Published April 30, 2020 at 8:02am

Almost a year ago to the day, HuffPost broke a bit of news that was disconcerting, if not necessarily urgent at the time:

The University of Delaware, home to almost 2,000 boxes of records from Joe Biden’s career in the Senate, was already three months late in making those documents available to the public and was pushing their release back to the end of 2019 at the earliest.

The school — Biden’s alma mater — had originally said the papers would “remain closed during processing for a period no sooner than two years after the donor retires from any public office.” Biden had left public office on Jan. 20, 2017, but apparently the university hadn’t finished “processing” them or whatever, which is why the release date had to be changed.

“The Biden senatorial papers are indeed still closed, pending completion of processing (still underway) and as per our agreement with the donor, which is that the papers would remain closed until the later date of 12/31/2019 or two years after the donor retires [from] public service,” Biden papers curator L. Rebecca Johnson Melvin told HuffPost at the time.

I’m writing about this now, so guess what wasn’t released on Dec. 31, 2019?

You would think, given the time-sensitive nature of all of this, that the University of Delaware would have hurried up the process — unless hurrying up the process wasn’t the point, and was, in fact, antithetical to the point. Then again, unless you were someone like me who follows this kind of thing for a living, this didn’t seem all that important. What was going to be contained in those papers, after all?

Sure, there could be some ugly stuff in there about Biden’s role as the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee during the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearings. But Biden’s behavior during those hearings had been a matter of public discussion for decades. The chances of anything new coming out were pretty low.

There could be further letters with the arch-segregationist senators with whom he made common cause in order to kill off federally mandated racial busing. But busing hasn’t been a hot-button issue in so long, many Americans old enough to vote might not even be familiar with the controversy.

Then came the Tara Reade sexual assault allegation, and things took a turn. What’s amazing is that, despite the fact there’s at least some contemporaneous corroboration for Reade’s claim, the mainstream media doesn’t want to talk about it or find the evidence for it that the former Senate aide says is out there. Most notably, Reade told The New York Times she filed a complaint with the Senate personnel office around the time of the alleged 1993 sexual assault.

Reade says she doesn’t have a copy of the complaint, nor do Senate officials. However, as Campus Reform noted Wednesday, the University of Delaware just might. They’re not going to release it, though — at least not according to the archivists, who, according to Campus Reform, are still giving the same response to interviewers as they were giving back in April of 2019. This time, however, it’s a bit different, since that response is coming to questions related to a serious charge against a potential president of the United States, who is not only his party’s presumptive nominee but is even leading in national polls at the moment.

A petition published by the opposition research group America Rising PAC is calling on the university to release the documents.

“Joe Biden is facing an allegation of sexual assault by a former Senate staffer. New details are emerging every week, however he has yet to be asked a single question about the allegation by mainstream media,” the petition states.

“Currently, all of the documents from Biden’s career in the U.S. Senate remain under lock and key at the University of Delaware. The documents and complaints that may shed light on this alleged sexual assault could sit in those very files.’

And said documents will remain unreleased. According to Campus Reform, University of Delaware director of external relations Andrea Boyle said– you’ll never believe this — that the documents are “still being processed.”

However, there’s been another change in the university’s language regarding the papers’ release. Instead of the whole thing about retiring from “public service,” Boyle told Campus Reform that “the entire collection will remain closed to the public until two years after Mr. Biden retires from public life.”

Let’s put that in perspective: Joe Biden was a senator in his early 30s and remained in that role for the better part of 40 years, after which he became the vice president of the United States. Then, after the 2016 election, he became the Democrat candidate-in-waiting. He’s now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Come November, he’ll either be the president-elect or the guy who lost to Donald Trump. Either way, he’s likely to spend the rest of his life governing and/or opining upon governance.

In short, Joe Biden will retire from public life when he’s embalmed or cremated. Two years afterward, we’ll apparently discover whether there were any documents in his files relating to Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegation against Biden. Hope you can wait until then, people.

I don’t want to say this is incriminating, but all Biden has to do is release the documents and we’ll know whether or not there’s anything in there relating to Reade. Certainly, there have to be trained archivists the University of Delaware can hire to speed up the process — or to simply look at the documents relating to that period in Biden’s career and see if there’s any there there.

For that matter, Biden himself could give the university permission to release papers as they relate to at least that part of his career. Considering Biden hasn’t addressed Reade’s accusation publicly so far, the chances of that happening are minimal, but the option is always there.

If none of that happens, sure, there’ll be conspiracy theorists who’ll still believe the University of Delaware was complicit in some great scandal to extirpate the evidence from Biden’s records, but they’ll be relegated to dodgy websites and the late-night AM airwaves. For the rest of us, we’ll have to be satisfied that if the absence of evidence isn’t evidence of absence, there’s certainly an absence of evidence.

Instead, what the University of Delaware is telling us is that it’s not done processing the documents — but not that this matters, since we’re never going to see them in time for the election. The short-term administrative excuse, in other words, is nothing more than a preface to the long-term political one.

What are we supposed to make of this, then? Nothing to see here — so time to stop looking?

This would be a marginally acceptable answer if those inquiring were scavenging for more Anita Hill-related material or love letters to segregationists. A sexual assault allegation is quite a bit different, though, particularly when Biden’s papers can provide yet more contemporaneous corroboration — if not the report Reade filed.

This, in short, is no longer just a matter of finding detritus about Biden’s iffy past political opinions and affiliations. It’s about whether there’s evidence of an allegation of forcible sexual misconduct against a man who wants to be president of the United States.

If the University of Delaware can’t or won’t answer that question, then the University of Delaware shouldn’t be in possession of these documents.

Q&A on the Wuhan Virus

Source: Shen Bohan/Xinhua via AP

As you can well imagine, my mailbox has been overflowing with questions about the coronavirus from precisely ZERO readers. So I decided to write my own questions. I know this is what you would be asking if you were not standing in line, outside, 6 feet apart, to purchase a quart of milk.

What do you think of the media’s coverage of the Wuhan virus? It’s like a nonstop “War of the Worlds” broadcast, which in 1938 panicked more than a million Americans into believing Martians had landed in New Jersey, sending people fleeing to the mountains, loading their shotguns and barricading their homes. And that was a single radio broadcast!

Today we have nearly all of media — which I notice are doing fantastically well during the crisis — terrifying the public about an apparently indestructible, omnipresent virus.

You don’t think the China virus is as dangerous as they say? Well, it is a virus capable of eliminating all human life, which would be bad, but not all bad because then you’d never have to see another TV commercial with some company saying they consider you “family.”

So you think it’s safe to start lifting the stay-at-home orders?

Of course. I ask again: What was the purpose of telling everyone to stay home? Aren’t we all Wuhan-free now? More than 90 percent of the country has been self-quarantining for more than a month. Either we had it and didn’t know it, or never had it at all. But in any event we don’t have it now. Or was that whole stay-at-home mandate just for fun?

What about threats of a resurgence?

Luckily the hospitals are half-empty, waiting for the gusher of coronavirus patients.

So we do nothing?

No, not at all, but now that 90 percent of us are Wuhan-free, these are the only things we need to do:

1) A real immigration moratorium, like this country had from 1924 to 1965. (I’d also recommend that the other 49 states shut down flights from New York, but I’ll leave that up to them);

2) Concentrate all protections on the elderly/immunocompromised;

3) No more handshaking, and liberal use of surgical masks in confined spaces.

Other than that, WE’RE DONE NOW.

But we know virtually nothing about this virus: why it kills, what stops it, how it’s transmitted.

Actually, we know one very important thing: By total serendipity, the Wuhan virus mostly kills people over the age of 70. Nearly 80 percent of all coronavirus deaths in the U.S. are of people over 70 years old.

What about Italy?

About 80 percent of the dead were over 70.

That sounds a little callous.

Not at all. It’s a stroke of good luck! We’d be lucky if the virus targeted any specific group — the nearsighted, left-handers, golfers — because that would allow us to concentrate protections on that one group.

But it’s doubly good news because the Wuhan targets people who are mostly out of the workforce anyway. And we already have their names and addresses! How about the feds send a box of masks along with Social Security checks every month?

How will you get Democratic governors to go along with that?

Liberals can triple down on all their fascist stuff — as long as it’s limited to the vulnerable.

Over 65? You need a note from the governor to leave your home!

Fine! But let the rest of us get back to work.

Why haven’t they done this already?

Because that wouldn’t have the effect of wrecking the economy before the election.

Apart from the election, why would the media want to impoverish the nation?

1) Reporting on disasters is fun!

2) Their ratings are terrific — and, of course, they’re still being paid.

3) Liberals enjoy controlling people, especially with enragingly nonsensical rules.

I thought Trump was the authoritarian!

No, he’s the lazy, narcissistic blowhard. Liberals are the authoritarians.

The shutdown is airport security for the whole country. Nineteen Muslim immigrants flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and suddenly little old ladies from Oklahoma had to be goosed at airports. We have to be safe!

A horrible Chinese virus sweeps the planet, which is devastating to older people but virtually harmless to the young — and the entire country has to be shut down. We have to be safe!

What about polls showing a majority of Americans want to keep the restrictions in place?

The media have frightened gullible suburban woman into a state of hysteria. (Talk about whipping up your ignorant base!) Kids could basically mainline coronavirus and they’d be fine. But soccer moms don’t want their kids going back to school.

Whether it’s rational or not, people aren’t going to go out like they used to.

My entire life, liberals have said, “Don’t like abortion? Don’t have one.” “Don’t like pornography? Don’t look at it.” And so on.

I say: “Don’t want to leave your home? Don’t leave your home!”

So you recommend going out again?

Sure, what’s the worst that could happen? Sure, you could die, but you probably won’t.

COMMENTARY BY TREY GOWDY

From Trey Gowdy:
“I’m not saying Covid-19 isn’t real… But Pay attention folks, there’s much more going on here than what meets the eye.
Is it a coincidence that just when the economy is booming, the stock market is setting record highs, we are winning the trade wars, school shootings have stopped, our nation is at peace, the Democratic party is a disaster and so is their likely nominee? (Biden). He hasn’t a chance in hell & they’re not about to let an outsider(Bernie) destroy their scheme.
It looks like Trump is a sure bet for reelection after fending off 3 years of investigations and impeachment, then all of a sudden world crisis pandemic. Stock market tumbles, companies are laying off employees, everything is closed and canceled, CEO’s of giant companies are resigning and indictments are coming.
Now they say there are a couple ways a President doesn’t win reelection. Those are an unpopular war or a poor economy.
But there is something larger going on here driving this sudden outbreak right after Trump beats an impeachment. Especially the fact that it (Corona Virus) originated in China who we are in a global trade war with; brought on by Trump. Let’s not forget Biden’s back door deals with CHINA as well.
China doesn’t want 4 more years of Trump either. It all seems rather convenient for the nations and opponents of our current President and economy 5 months before an election. Couldn’t have hit at a more perfect time.
With the Democrats running out of campaign talking points, in light of no school shootings, no migrant caravans at the southern border, fighting in Syria winding down, North Korea not firing missiles and Trump beating a sham impeachment. The Corona Virus gave them one last hail Mary to try and point fingers at Trump with the clock winding down in 2020.
This is almost the perfect fascist playbook. Control the population with fear-mongering and panic, control the media, spread propaganda and the fan-favorite disarm the population. Oh, and did anyone notice that while they are mad as hell at Trump for not sending aid to Ukraine, they THEMSELVES voted AGAINST giving ANY emergency aid to all Americans ?
Sorry but I don’t think we are all going to die. Remember when Ebola was what was going to kill us all, and the media kept showing the piles of body bags that were prepared for the fallout. Then a month later it was totally forgotten.
The common flu has killed more people this year already and the media is SILENT!
A handful of deaths out of 320 million Americans and we are in panic tearing down our society and costing our economy billions in the wake. It all just seems fishy, a little too well-timed if you ask me.”

Dad Says Son in Coma Isn’t the Boy He Remembers—1 Yr Later, He Catches This on Tape at the Hospital

14-year-old Blake Hyland was at gymnastics practice when 1 final flip changed his life forever.

He missed the foam pit, cracked open his skull on the concrete, and landed in a coma that left him with a 50/50 chance of survival.

The doctors’ outlook was grim, and they told Blake’s parents that if their son even survived, he would probably never walk again. That’s when Blake’s father grabbed his wife’s hand, looked the doctors square in the eye and said, “We appreciate your diagnosis, but our God is greater than that, and our son will walk out of this hospital one day.”

Five weeks after the accident, Blake woke up from his coma, and he made progress by leaps and bounds from day one. He was so positive, it was baffling. It was like he was a brand new kid.

“Where Blake is at is not common,” said his dad. “It’s a true miracle. God did intervene that day. He intervened in such a great way that our son isn’t the same child that we remembered before. He’s better.”

One year after the tragic accident, Blake’s proud father captured the moment on camera that they had all been waiting for. His boy walked out of that hospital, just like he said he would.

“The power of prayer is the strongest healing thing that’s out there,” said Blake. “I know that God’s always by my side. With all the people that are praying behind me, I know that I can do anything.”

When Blake was asked if he would go back and change or erase the day of the accident, he said he wouldn’t change a thing. He knows that this challenge came into his life for a reason to make him stronger and to make him a living testament of faith to others. Despite his physical limitations, he only sees the glass half full and says he’s never had a single bad day.

What a stunning testimony of perseverance, positivity and the power of prayer. Help Blake’s story continue to be a blessing to others by sharing his faith-filled journey with your friends!

YouTube removed the viral video of frontline doctors calling for an end to quarantine and comparing COVID-19 to the flu

Last week, two frontline doctors who said they have administered more than 5,000 coronavirus tests, made headlines when they compared the coronavirus to the seasonal flu and called for an end to quarantine practices.

The two physicians, Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care in Bakersfield, California, presented their medical advice in a video briefing with KERO-TV that the news outlet then uploaded to YouTube. The video quickly went viral, garnering more than 5.46 million views.

But on Monday, the video was taken down for “violating YouTube’s Terms of Service.”

In a follow-up report, KERO-TV confirmed that the first of two videos playing the press briefing in full was removed. The news outlet submitted an appeal to YouTube about the removal, but has not yet heard back. In a statement to the outlet following the video’s removal, Dr. Erickson said, “Anytime you push against the grain, you are going to have people who don’t like it.”

Why was it taken down?

TheBlaze reached out to YouTube’s press division for a more specific answer on why the video was taken down, but YouTube did not immediately respond.

After publication, YouTube spokesperson Ivy Choi responded to the TheBlaze in a statement:

We quickly remove flagged content that violate our Community Guidelines, including content that explicitly disputes the efficacy of local healthy authority recommended guidance on social distancing that may lead others to act against that guidance. However, content that provides sufficient educational, documentary, scientific or artistic (EDSA) context is allowed — for example, news coverage of this interview with additional context. From the very beginning of the pandemic, we’ve had clear policies against COVID-19 misinformation and are committed to continue providing timely and helpful information at this critical time.

Erickson and Massihi spoke to Fox News host Laura Ingraham Monday evening just before the video was removed. After the interview, when Ingraham discovered the video had been taken down, she noted relevant comments regarding censorship that YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki had recently made.

“Anything that would go against World Health Organization recommendations would be a violation of our policy … [removal] is another really important part of of our policy,” Wojcicki reportedly said.

What did they say?

In the video briefing, Erickson and Massihi pushed back against the conventional narrative regarding the dangers of COVID-19 and the effectiveness of social distancing measures.

“Do we need to still shelter in place? Our answer is emphatically no,” Erickson said. “Do we need businesses to be shut down? Emphatically no. Do we need to test them and get them back to work? Absolutely.”

Erickson went on to say that COVID-19 and the seasonal flu are “similar in their prevalence and death rates.”

“If you study the numbers in 2017 and 2018, we had 50 to 60 million with the flu,” Erickson said. “And we had a similar death rate in the deaths the United States were 43,545 — similar to the flu of 2017-2018. We always have between 37,000 and 60,000 deaths in the United States, every single year. No pandemic talk. No shelter in place. No shutting down businesses.”

He also warned that quarantining could lead to weakened immune systems.

“Sheltering in place decreases your immune system. And then as we all come out of shelter in place with a lower immune system and start trading viruses, bacteria — what do you think is going to happen? Disease is going to spike,” Erickson explained.

Though the original upload has been removed, video of the press briefing can still be seen elsewhere on YouTube:

Editor’s Note: This post has been updated to include YouTube spokesperson Ivy Choi’s response to our question regarding the video’s removal.

Horowitz: Minnesota has more COVID-19 deaths than non-lockdown neighbors, more unemployment than New York

Reported by April 29, 2020

Imagine taking a non-hot spot for coronavirus, locking down the people, achieving a worse outcome than surrounding states that didn’t lock down, and then suffering worse unemployment from the lockdown than New York. Welcome to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s lockdown magic.

Minnesota is surrounded on three sides by some of the few states in the country that did not formally issue a shelter-in-place order at any time during this crisis. According to the dictates of the lockdown crowd, these states should have been smoldering ash, given their reluctance to do what the “experts” tell us is the best and only way to prevent mass deaths from the virus. Well, it turns out the states that didn’t lock down had low fatality rates, some of them especially low.

Here are the deaths per million people as of yesterday, according to Worldometer:

Wyoming: 12

Utah: 13

South Dakota: 13

Arkansas: 17

North Dakota: 25

Nebraska: 29

Iowa: 43

Most of these seven states are at or near the bottom in terms of death rates per million people.

Minnesota is surrounded by Iowa to its south and the Dakotas to the west. Unlike Iowa and the Dakotas, Minnesota went full lockdown, ordered by Tim Walz. In the end, the fatality rate per million people of 54 was still relatively low compared to most states in the northeast, but higher than the surrounding states that did not issue lockdown orders. This demonstrates that given the demographics and geography of the upper Midwest states, there was no reason whatsoever for Walz not to follow in the footsteps of his neighbors.

In fact, Walz joined the media’s pile-on against the other governors in the region.

“I do worry about that,” Walz said on April 8, according to Twincities.com, adding that he had communicated with officials in Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. “It’s probably only a matter of time before they issue those, too.”

Well, look who has egg on his face now.

Walz is a big proponent of lockdown. “I think most of these retailers and businesses understand they’re going to have to change the way business is being done for about the next 18 months,” said Walz last week.

Despite just 300 statewide deaths, Minneapolis is actually tightening, not loosening restrictions. According to the Star-Tribune, the state is now “removing or blocking basketball rims, removing tennis and volleyball nets, and posting signs notifying park visitors that soccer fields, playgrounds and skate parks are closed.”

Sure, shutting down outdoor activities for predominantly young people makes a lot of sense when studies show nearly no transmissions outdoors and when not a single person under 40 years of age and very few under 65 died in Minnesota.

In general, researchers have found absolutely no correlation between early and severe lockdown states and low COVID-19 death numbers. Florida has achieved one of the best results of any large state despite its elderly population. Governor Ron DeSantis was raked over the coals for being late to implement a very weak shelter-in-place order under pressure. Yesterday, he struck back at his opponents:

Minnesota’s governor should listen and learn.

If Minnesota didn’t accomplish anything in terms of saving more lives, what did it accomplish? A worse unemployment rate than even New York. In recent weeks, 16 percent of Minnesota’s workforce filed unemployment claims, placing the state squarely in the top half of state workforces hit by the shutdown. That is just ahead of New York’s 14.6 percent. Remember that Minnesota had just over 300 deaths. Such disruption is much less justifiable than New York’s shutdown.

South Dakota, on the other hand, saw just 6 percent of its workforce file for unemployment, the lowest in the nation. Governor Kristi Noem came under tremendous pressure to issue a shelter-in-place order. Now she has been proven right and Governor Walz proven wrong.

Not only will more people die from the lockdown and unemployment, but thanks to the severe lockdown and the ensuing panic that it has driven, the Mayo Clinic, one of the most important employers in the state, was forced to furlough 40 percent of its workforce. Aside from the state and federal government, hospital systems are the top employers in the state. The fact that they have taken a greater hit than anyone else demonstrates the perfidious circular logic of shutting down elective procedures in order to stop a supposed overrun of hospitals in a state with 300 COVID-19 deaths.

What is particularly jarring about Minnesota is that three-quarters of the fatalities were in long-term care homes. That is 77 percent of 300 deaths. Thus, rather than focusing 100 percent of his resources on securing nursing homes, he cast a wide net on constitutional rights and accomplished nothing other than destroying his state’s economy.

Good job, Gov. Walz. You and your advisers will still collect your paychecks for creating a “cure” worse than the illness.

On Friday, the government finally released Brady documents in General Mike Flynn’s case showing he committed no crimes. Attorney Sidney Powell has been fighting to get her hands on the Brady Material since she took over the case. The documents are filed under seal, but attorney Sidney Powell said it reveals Flynn did not commit any crimes.

Powell also said that the documents produced found further misconduct by Mueller’s thug prosecutor Brandon Van Grack specifically. General Flynn was set up by Obama’s Deep State crooks.

Following the release of the exculpatory documents Attorney Sidney Powell filed a motion to dismiss ALL CHARGES against the former Trump National Security Advisor.

On Monday Catherine Herridge from CBS News announced Judge Sullivan ordered prosecution to file a response to General Flynn’s request by Monday, May 4th.

In December 2018 Judge Emmet Sullivan accused General Flynn from committing treason.  It was a shameful display. Maybe it’s time Judge Sullivan offers General Flynn an apology?

Judge Rules Against Illinois Governor’s Stay-at-Home Order

Reported By Jack Davis | Published April 28, 2020 at 8:01am

URL of the originating web site: https://www.westernjournal.com/judge-rules-illinois-governors-stay-home-order/

The ruling said the legislator has shown “he will suffer irreparable harm” without the temporary restraining order being issued and has “a reasonable likelihood of succeeding” on the merits of his argument.

Bailey Pritzker Ruling by The Western Journal on Scribd

Bailey had said Pritzker’s order was “in excess of the authority granted him” under Illinois law, according to Fox News. The legislator had argued that although Pritzker had the right to impose restrictions for 30 days, he did not have the legal standing to extend stay-at-home laws past that date.

On Monday, Pritzker loosened the restrictions Bailey had attacked but also extended his overall stay-at-home order through May 30, according to the Chicago Tribune. Bailey encouraged his constituents to follow his lead in challenging the governor’s restrictions.

“This is just me, but anybody can follow suit,” he said, according to WMAG-TV.

“If people want to, if anyone wants to file any kind of similar suit in their home county or in their circuit, they can certainly do that,” Bailey said, according to the Tribune. “What I’m doing is challenging the constitutionality of the governor, of what he’s been doing.”

Bailey said the issue was not whether staying at home would be sound health policy but Pritzker’s use of his power.

“He is going to lose his power. This is the right thing,” the lawmaker said. “This is the law of the land, and I will contend that areas of the state would be better served through local control.”

Bailey said the economic damage from the state’s stay-at-home order might be worse than the disease it was issued to address.

“Our governor has created a second pandemic that I believe is going to be more far-reaching than the COVID-19 situation,” he said.

Bailey, whose district covers southern Illinois, said he gets calls from constituents who are “overwhelmed, scared to death, not of the COVID-19 virus, but of their livelihoods.”

“Still today, we’re getting calls of people that cannot get through to unemployment, and that’s what’s taking a toll in some of these more rural districts,” the legislator said. “That’s what the governor needs to be focused on.”

Pritzker attacked Bailey for his actions.

“People are in danger as a result of this ruling, of the judge’s ruling of the suit that was brought by Darren Bailey,” he said, according to the Tribune.

“We certainly are going to act in a swift fashion to try to have this ruling overturned, certainly put a stay in place,” the governor said. “I mean it’s, frankly, it’s insulting, it’s dangerous, and people’s safety and health has now been put at risk.

“There may be people who contract coronavirus as a result of what Darren Bailey has done now.”

In a statement on his website, Bailey said Pritzker has focused on Chicago at the expense of the rest of the state.

“The message is clear, we are not Chicago and we already distance ourselves just by our rural life styles. Why should we be punished with the loss of jobs and closing our businesses when the coronavirus emergency isn’t the same for us?” he said. “This one-size-fits-all mentality needs to be reviewed and take into account our diversity from urban to rural areas of the state.’

“The governor’s executive orders to social distance and stay home to work when you are able has had a flattening of the curve for the cities and that’s good.’

“But in our area, the low numbers of cases reinforces the fact that we do not need the heavy hand of government to tell us to use our common sense. It was the actions of people who wouldn’t stay home in Chicago for St. Patrick’s Day celebrating that triggered these executive orders, not the actions of teachers or farmers or small business owners in southern Illinois.”

Stanford Doctors Calls for Ending Full-Blown Lockdowns

Reported by   | April 23, 2020

A doctor from Stanford University’s Hoover Institution is calling for the end of the current lockdown procedures taking place across America in response to the Wuhan virus outbreak.

Scott W. Atlas, is the David and Joan Traitel Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and the former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, believes that “Leaders must examine accumulated data to see what has actually happened, rather than keep emphasizing hypothetical projections; combine that empirical evidence with fundamental principles of biology established for decades; and then thoughtfully restore the country to function.”

Atlas highlighted five key facts that “are being ignored by those calling for continuing the near-total lockdown.”

Fact 1: The overwhelming majority of people do not have any significant risk of dying from COVID-19.

According to a recent Stanford University antibody study, the fatality rate of the infected is likely 0.1 to 0.2 percent. These numbers are far lower than past World Health Organization estimates that were 20 to 30 times higher and that spurred draconian lockdowns.

Atlas highlighted the case of New York City:

In New York City, an epicenter of the pandemic with more than one-third of all U.S. deaths, the rate of death for people 18 to 45 years old is 0.01 percent, or 11 per 100,000 in the population. On the other hand, people aged 75 and over have a death rate 80 times that. For people under 18 years old, the rate of death is zero per 100,000.

Of all fatal cases in New York state, two-thirds were in patients over 70 years of age; more than 95 percent were over 50 years of age; and about 90 percent of all fatal cases had an underlying illness. Of 6,570 confirmed COVID-19 deaths fully investigated for underlying conditions to date, 6,520, or 99.2 percent, had an underlying illness. If you do not already have an underlying chronic condition, your chances of dying are small, regardless of age. And young adults and children in normal health have almost no risk of any serious illness from COVID-19.

Fact 2: Protecting older, at-risk people eliminates hospital overcrowding.

According to hospital utilization data from New York City, individuals under the age of 18 were hospitalized at a rate of 0.01 percent per 100,000 people. For those aged between 18 to 44 years old, hospitalization stands at 0.1 percent per 100,000.

For the age cohort of 65 to 74, only 1.7 percent were subject to hospitalization.

Atlas expanded on these numbers:

Of 4,103 confirmed COVID-19 patients with symptoms bad enough to seek medical care, Dr. Leora Horwitz of NYU Medical Center concluded ‘age is far and away the strongest risk factor for hospitalization.’ Even early WHO reports noted that 80 percent of all cases were mild, and more recent studies show a far more widespread rate of infection and lower rate of serious illness. Half of all people testing positive for infection have no symptoms at all. The vast majority of younger, otherwise healthy people do not need significant medical care if they catch this infection.

Fact 3: Vital population immunity is prevented by total isolation policies, prolonging the problem.

Atlas noted that “infection itself allows people to generate an immune response — antibodies — so that the infection is controlled throughout the population by ‘herd immunity.’”

Atlas highlighted that medical care is not necessary for a large portion of the population who have caught the virus:

In this virus, we know that medical care is not even necessary for the vast majority of people who are infected. It is so mild that half of infected people are asymptomatic, shown in early data from the Diamond Princess ship, and then in Iceland and Italy. That has been falsely portrayed as a problem requiring mass isolation.

The doctor continued explaining how immunity ends up developing:

In fact, infected people without severe illness are the immediately available vehicle for establishing widespread immunity. By transmitting the virus to others in the low-risk group who then generate antibodies, they block the network of pathways toward the most vulnerable people, ultimately ending the threat. Extending whole-population isolation would directly prevent that widespread immunity from developing.

Fact 4: People are dying because other medical care is not getting done due to hypothetical projections.

Critical health care for millions of Americans is largely being ignored and people are dying because of “potential” Wuhan virus patients and for fear of transmitting the disease. During this outbreak, a number of states and hospitals stopped “nonessential” procedures and surgery. Atlas noted that the overemphasis of Wuhan virus cases has “prevented diagnoses of life-threatening diseases, like cancer screening, biopsies of tumors now undiscovered and potentially deadly brain aneurysms.”

He continued:

Treatments, including emergency care, for the most serious illnesses were also missed. Cancer patients deferred chemotherapy. An estimated 80 percent of brain surgery cases were skipped. Acute stroke and heart attack patients missed their only chances for treatment, some dying and many now facing permanent disability.

Fact 5: We have a clearly defined population at risk who can be protected with targeted measures.

Atlas stressed that the “overwhelming evidence all over the world consistently shows that a clearly defined group — older people and others with underlying conditions — is more likely to have a serious illness requiring hospitalization and more likely to die from COVID-19.” With those facts in mind, he called for an isolation policy that targets that group, which includes “strictly monitoring those who interact with them.”

The Hoover Institute fellow concluded:

Strictly protect the known vulnerable, self-isolate the mildly sick and open most workplaces and small businesses with some prudent large-group precautions. This would allow the essential socializing to generate immunity among those with minimal risk of serious consequence, while saving lives, preventing overcrowding of hospitals and limiting the enormous harms compounded by continued total isolation. Let’s stop underemphasizing empirical evidence while instead doubling down on hypothetical models. Facts matter.

All things considered, Atlas may be on to something. The Wuhan virus is not as grave as many people believe, so the response must be calibrated in a manner that protects public health while gradually re-opening the economy.

Senators Who Fought Kavanaugh Found Stumping for Biden Morning After Allegation Evidence Discovered

Commentary By Andrew J. Sciascia | Published April 26, 2020 at 6:41am

It was a shocking news-break Friday as reports indicated evidence had emerged supporting former Senate aide Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential primary nominee Joe Biden. Potentially more shocking, however, were Saturday morning developments that seemed to suggest that — just like that — the American left’s zero-tolerance, “Believe All Women” approach to sexual assault allegations against prominent figures in the D.C. political establishment had been put to rest.

According to The Intercept, video was found this week in the archives of CNN’s “Larry King Live” revealing an on-air phone call in 1993 in which a female caller complained that her daughter had had nowhere to turn for help with unspecified “problems” while working for a “prominent senator.” The caller is believed to have been Reade’s now-deceased mother.

Receiving incredibly little attention from the establishment media, Reade came forward in March with allegations Biden had, while she was a staffer in his office in 1993, forced himself upon her in private in a hallway in the Capitol complex, kissing her and penetrating her with his fingers.

Confirmation the “Larry King Live” caller was, in fact, Reade’s mother would support Reade’s claims that she had confided in others and considered coming forward shortly after the alleged assault would have taken place.

Still, the news about the phone call wasn’t enough to stop Democratic senators, and former bitter primary opponents, from expressing support for Biden just 24 hours later on social media. Likely still vying for a vice presidential nod, the senators were eager Saturday morning to kiss the boots of their good friend Biden, joining him in promoting a campaign event titled S.O.U.L. of the Nation Saturday.

Coming on the one-year anniversary of Biden’s campaign announcement, “SOUL Saturday” — for service, outreach, unity and leadership — is described as a day dedicated to celebrating American “communities’ heroes” in a time of crisis.

Coincidentally, the event also plays on Biden’s running narrative regarding his candidacy — which he describes as an attempt to “reclaim” the soul of America from the hands of mean, old President Donald Trump.

And wouldn’t you know it, Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Kirsten Gillibrand and Cory Booker had no problem slapping on fake smiles, painting their former opponent with rehearsed compliments and quoting his campaign slogans.

“I’m so grateful to be teaming up with [Joe Biden] to recognize all of the heroes fighting for us on the front lines,” Booker wrote in a Twitter post alongside a promotional video. “The biggest thing you can do today is a small act of kindness for someone else — so please, join us in this day of service.”

“Today I’m joining my friend [Joe Biden] and people across our nation who are coming together to take part in #SOULSaturday,” wrote Harris, whose most notable moment of campaign popularity came from insinuating Biden was an old racist.

“Let’s use this moment to show our appreciation for those on the front lines and connect with our friends and neighbors. We’re all in this together.”

Of course, no such pleasantries were made regarding then-D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh by any of the aforementioned senators at the time of his 2018 Supreme Court confirmation. In fact, Booker, Harris and Klobuchar were all clearly using their positions on the Senate Judiciary Committee at the time of the Kavanaugh proceedings as a springboard for their eventual failed White House bids.

This is not to say sexual assault allegations should be taken lightly or ignored. To the contrary, they should be heard and investigated with the utmost seriousness and empathy. But presumption of innocence and all manner of due process were flung to the wind when Christine Blasey Ford, Ph.D., came forward with consistently uncorroborated claims Kavanaugh had assaulted her at a party in high school. One allegation led to more and more still, each one less credible than the last.

Stories of a high school-aged Kavanaugh taking part in methodically planned date-rape rings and thrusting his genitals upon an unsuspecting woman at a Yale University party were all welcomed by Democrats and the media as though they were equally valid — because, once again, you had to “Believe All Women.” That is why Gillibrand repeatedly told the media and the nation that Ford had “no reason to lie,” according to CNN. That is why Klobuchar used her time questioning the judge as an opportunity to grandstand, assassinating his character with implications that his collegiate drinking habits somehow made him a sex criminal as well.

But I guess it’s too much to ask the same level of scrutiny be applied to Biden, even hours after the allegations against him seem to have taken on teeth.

Communist Democrats in 3 States Push Laws to Force Private Property Owners to Allow Homeless to Live Their Property

Posted By Published on

You want to know what tyranny looks like here in the United States? I’ve got an example for you.

Tyranny looks like homeless people coming onto your property, putting up a tent, drinking and having sex out there and all without your permission. Then when you want to go out and tell them to leave, the police show up and arrest you. That is tyranny.

This isn’t something I’m just arbitrarily making up something either. This is actually what’s going on in America.

Right now, three states – California, Ohio, and Oregon are all going through a time where bills are being pushed that would force private property owners to relinquish their land rights and be forced to permit homeless people to camp out on their property as long as they want.

Then if they try to do something about it, it would be against the law and they could then be arrested. This is just absurd!

Two recent court decisions surrounding homelessness may have a big impact on people sleeping on city streets. While the U.S. Supreme Court has decided not to hear a case about criminalizing homelessness, an appeals court ruled encampments are allowed on private property.

Kevin Finn has worked to end homelessness in Cincinnati for 21 years. He cautiously applauds the two recent court rulings that address the criminalization of sleeping on the streets.

“I don’t think there’s anything helpful about making it a criminal act for people to be sleeping outside if ultimately what we want is for people to get into housing,” said Finn.

The Supreme Court will not hear a case on a ban against homeless people sleeping in public spaces. That now means there’s a constitutional right to camp in public.

“Filing charges, making things they’re doing illegal, making their police history longer is not helpful for the long-term goal,” said Finn.

Ohio’s First District Court of Appeals says governments cannot ban homeless encampments from private property — like Hamilton County did at the New Prospect Baptist Church in 2018.

I don’t think it’s ever a good move to ever try to criminalize people sleeping outside,” said Finn. “But at the same time, a homeless person is three times more likely to die sleeping outside on the streets, so we need to find a balance where we’re not encouraging people to sleep outside in camps either.”

Drive In Church Was Deemed Illegal But, One Big City Mayor Caves To Mosque & Rep. Omar Gives Two Thumbs Up

Written by Staff Writer – April 22, 2020

Many local governments made drive-up churches illegal, Pastor’s using loudspeakers while church attendees sat in their cars could put you in jail. However, the mayor of Minneapolis is “going the extra mile” for a local mosque during Ramadan.

Ramadan is the holiest month of the year for followers of Islam and is a time of prayer and fasting. Most prayers happen inside a mosque. “People are standing shoulder to shoulder and in lines, and so the social distancing is always very challenging,”  Jaylani Hussein, executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations said.

Ramadan starts on Thursday, so Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is allowing the Muslim leaders to broadcast by speaker “call to prayer” five times a day in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Funny we haven’t seen local governments bend over backward to help Christians celebrate Easter they were almost eager to arrest them.

“We want to make sure that people can practice their religion, yes, but it can’t conflict with the overarching public health guidelines,” Frey said. “It allows people to stay together even when they’re praying apart, and we want to make sure that we’re doing proper social distancing and physical distancing in particular.”

But Christians don’t you dare meet up in a parking lot with a loudspeaker.

The broadcast will come from the Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque and it will reach thousands of residents, even the ones that don’t practice Islam. So even if you don’t practice Islam you are going to hear the call to prayer in the city of Minneapolis five times a day for a month.

Do you think atheists will sue that this infringes on their rights?

Rep. Ilhan Omar who attacked Christians wanting to celebrate Easter, endorse what Frey has decided.

Exclusive — South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem on Beating Coronavirus Without Lockdown: ‘We’re Much Better on Offense’

Reported by MATTHEW BOYLE | Washington, D.C.

Noem said that despite earlier projections of a surge on the hospitals in South Dakota and nationwide, “no, we haven’t” seen such a surge. In fact, South Dakota has—again, without a lockdown—cut that number down by 75 percent of the projections, with much less than a hundred people in the hospital.

According to the state’s Department of Health website, there have been 1,858 cases of coronavirus in South Dakota—937 people have recovered. There have been only 9 deaths, and there are 62 people currently hospitalized. In total, only 111 people were ever hospitalized for coronavirus in South Dakota—far less than ever was expected.

“I think we’ve got maybe 60 people in the hospital right now,” Noem said in an exclusive interview on Wednesday. “We have 2,500 beds set aside for COVID-19 patients, but we only have 63 in. We probably, from all of our projections and studying the science behind the virus, we won’t peak until the middle of June. But we already have done much better than what we had thought would have been hitting our state already.”

“We already have cut our peak projections by 75 percent just putting in place the recommendations I asked people to do, staying at home and they’ve practiced social distancing,” she explained. “They’ve washed their hands and they stayed home if they weren’t feeling well and called their doctors. Just by doing that, we’ve cut the hospitalization rates by 75 percent. So, I’ve just been super proud of what the people in South Dakota have done—they recognized that I wasn’t going to dictate to them, that I valued their freedoms and liberties and that I was going to let them take action on behalf of their families and communities.”

When asked how she made her decision to not issue a closure of businesses in South Dakota and to not issue a statewide stay-at-home order like many other governors did when the crisis was beginning, Noem told Breitbart News that she was focused on providing the best and most scientific response to the coronavirus crisis.

“I looked at our state and our people here and knew they would take on the personal responsibility that would be necessary to protect their families and their communities,” Noem said. “I had a real honest conversation with them and told them what we were facing and that I needed them to make some decisions to follow CDC guidelines and that by doing that we could look at how this virus would impact our state and peak hospitalization rates going forward and do it together.”

“I’m not one who believes in a one-size-fits-all approach, and even in South Dakota I’ve got pretty diverse communities,” she noted. “I’ve got some that are pretty sparse with not many people and then I’ve got some that are big cities as well. So I wanted to leave some flexibility there for local folks to make decisions but also recognizing that when it comes down to it that these guys had to take on the personal responsibility that is necessary to really go after this virus.”

Noem added that when it came to her decision against issuing a lockdown, she factored in her oath to defend the state’s Constitution that she took when she was sworn in as governor and her oath to defend the U.S. Constitution that she took when she was previously sworn in when she was in the U.S. Congress. She was concerned for the civil liberties and freedoms of the people of her state and did not think the facts on the ground warranted a lockdown—something that, again, the statistics have proven to be true.

“It was a decision that I made. The facts on the ground here did not support shelter-in-place,” she said. “We just didn’t have the spread. For me personally, I took an oath to uphold our state Constitution. I took an oath when I was in Congress to uphold the United States Constitution. So I believe in people’s freedoms and liberties and I always balance that with every decision that I make as governor. I get overly concerned with leaders who take too much power in a time of crisis because I think that’s how we directly lose our country someday by leaders overstepping their proper role.”

“So I was balancing all of that perspective and my value system and principles with what I was seeing here in South Dakota and never believed it was appropriate for us to take that kind of action,” Noem explained. “I trust my people. I know that if business owners here are given an opportunity to be innovative, they will protect their customers. They will take actions and change business models to make sure their employees are safe and that they can practice social distancing while still serving their customers. I knew I had to give them an opportunity to survive.”

“What I was going to ask them to do was not going to be something they would have to do just for a week or two,” she explained. “I knew they would have to do it for months, and I didn’t know how they would survive if I shut them down, and for me, it’s always been about whatever I ask you to do today you have to sustain, and I knew that doing that kind of an action was not sustainable. People would not be able to shelter in their homes for six weeks on end, and businesses would not be able to survive and have an economy to be able to put food on the table for folks.”

“All of that was part of my decision-making process, and I decided as well—I knew it was unconventional and it was something that would not be widely embraced across the country–but I knew I had to communicate it and I knew I had to make myself available to South Dakota and tell them why I was making these decisions and make sure we were having real palms-up honest conversations, and I think by and large they’re seeing the wisdom in the action and decisions we’ve made, and they’re grateful for it, but we have a long ways to go though,” Noem said. “We’ve got, that’s the thing, a lot of people want to be done with this now, and I have to keep reminding people we still have not even hit our peak—our numbers are going to continue to get worse, and that reality is something that we’re going to have to deal with for quite some time here.”

Just because there is no stay-at-home order or statewide mandated closure of businesses does not mean South Dakota is just waiting and doing nothing to fight the coronavirus. Noem has undertaken a number of initiatives in South Dakota, including alongside the state’s northern neighbor, North Dakota, the introduction of a cell phone application that helps state health officials with contact tracing of those who test positive for the virus—something she said has been very effective in helping control the spread of the disease.

“The app is called CARE19 and it’s downloadable on both android and iPhones, but what it does is so much of the time of individuals—when somebody tests positive for COVID-19 our Department of Health immediately calls them, asks them to isolate, and then follows up with them and then also does extensive interviews with them to find out about where they had been the previous three or four or five days, where they had been, where they had stopped, so we can identify other individuals that may have been exposed to the virus to let them know and ask them to isolate and slow down the spread,” Noem said. “This app will do all of that in seconds. So, it’s completely voluntary. People can download it on their phone, then turn on location services and then forget about it. Then if they do test positive a week or two weeks down the road they can decide if they want to share that information with us or not and then that will tell us everything about where they were and people that may have been exposed to the virus so they don’t have to try to remember.”

“It literally takes hours of interviews we would have with an individual down to getting all of that same information and having it be much more accurate in seconds,” she explained. “It helps us be much more aggressive in slowing and isolating the spread. The average person we have to contact—if somebody tests positive, we have to call eight or nine people on average that they may have come in contact with and let them know. So even if we only have a hundred cases a day, that’s 800 to 900 phone calls we have to be making to them. Then everybody who tests positive and everybody who has been exposed we call them back the next day and then the next day and so on to make sure they’re still doing okay and that they’re still isolating and all that. By being able to cut down that amount of time it takes to know who may have been exposed, boy it just saves us hundreds of hours and is really helpful. We’re the only—I think North Dakota started it first, I think we started it the next morning, and I think we’re the only two states that are using that kind of technology.”

South Dakota has also, at Noem’s direction, formally launched a statewide, fully-funded, and all-encompassing trial to study the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for coronavirus. There have been some studies that suggest the drug is promising as a potential treatment, and President Donald Trump has touted it as a hopeful possibility, while the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized its usage on a compassionate care basis if a doctor decides a patient should use it. But no formal studies yet exist to demonstrate the effectiveness of the antimalarial hydroxychloroquine against COVID-19, so Noem stepped up and rallied all of the state’s major healthcare systems to lead a statewide test of the drug.

“What’s happening here in South Dakota is really unprecedented,” Noem said. “There has never been anything like this that has happened before. There is the state government partnering with all of our major health systems to run a statewide, state-backed-and-funded clinical trial. We have Sanford Health in our state that does a lot of research, and they’re running many other clinical trials, and they came to the table and said they would lead it, and I said the state would support it and help secure the drugs with the White House’s help, the hydroxychloroquine and whatever else we would need, and then the other two health systems, Avera and Monument, were excited to partner as well. So we will literally have a clinical trial now where every person in the state will be allowed to participate in.”

“So it’s the first statewide one. I think we’re the only state where it would have been possible to get all of the healthcare systems to agree to participate in,” she continued. “It really is unprecedented as well to get them all to step up and agree to participate, and then we can include up to 100,000 people so it is much larger than a typical clinical trial would be.”

“Sometimes the accuracy of a clinical trial is in question when it’s a super small sample and you don’t get enough people to participate,” Noem explained. “By this, including this many people getting access to the drug and seeing what the results would be, not only allows us to meet the current need but also allows us to get the background data and research that we can use to be on offense against this virus into the future.”

“So, I think this is kind of what South Dakota does best—we’re much better on offense than we are just sitting back and playing defense, and this is one way where I said let’s not just sit back and access the drug and let people use it that are in ICUs and in healthcare systems that need it to save their lives,” she said. “But let’s use it as an opportunity to build out our capacity for doing research so that in the long run we’re contributing to addressing COVID-19 for years into the future.”

South Dakota is still, Noem added, planning to have fireworks over Mount Rushmore this year—a promise President Trump made when signing a phase one trade deal with China earlier this year.

“They are—we’ll decide what it looks like but there will be fireworks over Mount Rushmore this year. We’re still moving ahead,” Noem said.

Horowitz: Liberal governors publish plan to reopen society … never

Written by  | April 24, 2020

Andrew Cuomo | Matthew Cavanaugh | Getty Images

The plan to reopen our lives and economy posted earlier this week by a group of liberal governors creates enough unrealistic benchmarks that society will never reopen, which is clearly their plan. Taken in totality, it ignores all the recent evidence debunking the premise of the lockdown, creates a massive, unconstitutional surveillance state, hires enormous numbers of government workers to do useless testing and tracing long after the virus already spread, and permanently makes us vassals to the state.

On Tuesday, the National Governors Association, led by “Lockdown” Larry Hogan of Maryland and Andrew Cuomo of New York, released a 38-page, 10-point “Roadmap to Recovery,” but it’s more of a roadmap to permanent lockdown and a police state.

When you cut through all the political-speak, this is essentially the punchline of the report: “Opening prematurely — or opening without the tools in place to rapidly identify and stop the spread of the virus — could send states back into crisis mode, push health systems past capacity, and force states back into strict social distancing measures. This scenario would repeat the negative economic consequences of pandemic response and reduce public confidence, further deepening a recession and protracting economic recovery.”

The central flaw of the report is that it ignores all the new information we have since March – that this had already spread to tens of millions for several months. As such, it makes no sense to build an entire surveillance state around contact tracing and hiring government workers to do that surveillance. Yes, some Asian countries did this successfully, but they did so early on when it was possible to stop the spread. Now that we know that at least 21.2 percent of New York City residents alone have the antibodies for the virus, the entire approach is unworkable and unnecessary.

Contact tracing on a respiratory virus, this late in the spread, with millions in the New York metro who already had it, is an approach that is unworthy of a first-grade math student. You can only stop a spread when it’s early, confinable, and small. At this point, the only approach must be herd immunity for those not at risk.

What is this really all about? Building a massive police state and then asking the federal printing presses to give them unlimited funding to compensate for the economic harm they cause. The plan calls for “developing other surveillance methodology such as obtaining information on employee absenteeism due to illness from the private sector.” It calls for a 100,000-man force to do tracing and surveillance.

So, the same people who refuse to recognize that we already brought this in from China in December now want to turn America into China.

Two more elements are striking: First, they won’t even entertain the reams of new studies that lockdowns absolutely don’t help. Israeli researchers are now questioning Israel’s approach, and its government is considering reopening restaurants with no distancing to switch to the herd immunity model. Hogan and Cuomo will never answer the question of how we prevent endless waves of this if we do not embrace herd immunity, even though the case fatality rate has now been proven to be a fraction of what is was thought to be when they originally crafted this plan.

Second, there is absolutely no recognition of any limitation whatsoever on legal authority to do what they are doing. It’s as if they are God. The broader message is that they can shut down property rights, pursuit of a living, and individual movement indefinitely without due process. The onus is on you to show that you meet their allowance to open up, not the on them to prove that this is the least restrictive manner to achieve a vital state interest proven by unassailable science.

Cuomo told protesters that if they want to get back to work to “get a job as an essential worker.” Who is he to tell us what is essential? And if working is really a danger (rather than the solution), why would we want to create more “essential” evils?

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is requiring all businesses to submit a plan online for how they would abide by the state’s arbitrary criterion to reopen. Do the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights no longer matter?

In the landmark Youngstown case of 1952, the Supreme Court ruled that President Truman couldn’t use war powers to take over steel mills throughout the country for the purpose of domestic policy. In his famous concurrence, the great Justice Robert Jackson, the lead prosecutor at the Nuremberg trial and the dissenter in the Japanese internment case, made it clear that there is no emergency powers exception to the fundamental right to earn a living or to individual liberty – and the Founders did that on purpose.

“They knew what emergencies were, knew the pressures they engender for authoritative action, knew, too, how they afford a ready pretext for usurpation,” wrote Jackson. “We may also suspect that they suspected that emergency powers would tend to kindle emergencies.”

He was right then, and governors like Lockdown Larry are on the wrong side of history today.

At The Virus Epicenter, New York Mosque Stays Open as Churches Across the Nation are Shut Down

Reported by   | April 23, 2020

Although the state has an executive order, which categorically bans all “non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason,” neighborhood Muslims are still allowed to congregate in the mosque’s prayer room for prayer sessions throughout the week.

“About 10 worshippers in masks are allowed in at a time, though rarely do that many show up. They stand far apart from each other as they follow a prayer leader standing on a plastic-covered prayer rug,” a Syracuse.com report highlighted. The Blaze report noted “in a video of one of the prayers, it appears that the worshippers are not at least 6 feet away, as the Centers for Disease Control recommends.”

It is still unknown why the Mosque is allowed to operate. However, the mosque has received praise from Syracuse.com for its efforts to “keep the faith” during a time of pandemic and as the month of Ramadan is around the corner.

The report recounted what Irfan Elahi, an asbestos abatement expert who attends mosque, had to say about the matter. He claimed that when the outbreak started, local mosque leaders were concerned that Muslims would become anxious if their daily prayers were cancelled.

During the last few weeks, church gatherings have been prohibited in several states. In a number of cases, church participants were arrested for violating shelter-in-place orders. In Mississippi, several church attendees were slapped with $500 fines for staying in their vehicles in a church parking lot while listening to a radio broadcast of the service. In Kentucky, nails were reportedly placed at parking lot entrances to keep people from participating in the Easter service. A county in northern California prohibited singing during church livestreams unless people stay at home.

In the Big Apple, Mayor Bill de Blasio threatened to “permanently” close churches and synagogues if they did not follow the government’s shelter-in-place order. New York is one of the most anti-freedom states in the nation, so these kinds of bans are to be expected.

But if you’re part of a protected group like Muslim, you can have the state carve out privileges for you.

New Research Reveals Between 12 Million and 33 Million Americans Were Infected by Coronavirus – Mortality Rate Similar to Seasonal Flu

Reported By Jim Hoft | Published April 23, 2020 at 12:00pm

Two new studies were released this week that show millions of Americans were infected with the coronavirus between March and April 21.

The studies also revel the mortality rate is much less that was reported and similar to seasonal flu.

study by Dr. Justin Silverman estimates that there were 8.7 million coronavirus infections between March 8 and March 28.

And as of April 17, 2020, 10% of the US population has been infected or around 33 million Americans.

If 33 million Americans are already infected with the coronavirus that means the US mortality rated (45,000/44,000,000) is 0.14%. This is the same number you would expect from a seasonal flu.

It makes no sense to destroy an entire economy based on these numbers. Fire Fauci.

Pelosi Wipes Her Dripping Nose With Her Bare Hand, Then Touches House Floor Podium Used by Other Lawmakers (VIDEO)

Reported By Cristina Laila | Published April 23, 2020 at 1:44pm

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday wiped her dripping nose with her bare hand, then took that same hand and wiped it all over the House floor lectern used by other members of Congress.

Pelosi’s mask/scarf was also pulled down around her neck.

This is totally against CDC guidelines and 80-year-old Pelosi is definitely in the ‘at-risk’ category as are other elderly members of Congress.

This was just gross.

Nancy Antoinette held Americans hostage for weeks as she sat inside of her San Francisco mansion eating gourmet ice cream and now she’s spreading her germs all over the place.

Pelosi and other lawmakers have the nerve to lecture Americans about ‘social distancing’ guidelines amid the Coronavirus pandemic and they can’t even follow basic instructions.

“I am wondering who will hold Gov. Cuomo accountable for the deaths of so many older people due to his reckless decision to place covid19 patients in nursing and rehabilitation homes,” the letter began. “I am writing as a daughter who lost her beautiful 88 year old mother who was receiving physical therapy at one such facility.”

The writer, Arlene Mullin, went on to recount examples of the governor promising to protect the elderly because of their known vulnerability. She noted that he named his stay-at-home order after his own mother, Matilda Cuomo, and talked several times about protecting her.

“My mother is not expendable and your mother is not expendable and our brothers and sisters are not expendable,” Cuomo said a month ago.

That Immigration Moratorium? President Trump Effectively Reversed Course

Reported by   | April 23, 2020

Although President Donald Trump announced on April 20, 2020 that he would be halting all immigration to the U.S., there are now doubts that he will actually follow through with a moratorium policy that has actual teeth.

Mark Krikorian, the Executive Director of the Center for Immigration Studies, tweeted “Trump now denying he ever wanted to reduce legal immigration.”

Krikorian was referring to the new Executive Order that Trump issued and the follow up discussions that ended up revealing that it has very little teeth.

Conservative host Tucker Carlson was also critical of the news that revealed the flaccidness of the executive order.

The Columbia Bugle tweeted about some of Tucker’s comments:

U.S. Tech Workers@USTechWorkers

The do-nothing immigration moratorium:
– Temporary visa workers (H-1B, OPT, J-1, L-1, H-2B, etc.) won’t be suspended.
– New green card issuances put on hold.
– EO applicable for 60-days only, & may extend based on economic conditions.

John Binder of Breitbart News noted that “President Trump revealed on Tuesday that his executive order pausing most legal immigration in the midst of the Chinese coronavirus crisis will not keep farmers from fast-tracking foreign workers into the country.”

Trump revealed that his executive order to stop immigration to the U.S. will have exemptions for foreign workers entering the country via the H-2A visa program. As Binder points out, the H-2A visa program “delivers an endless flow of cheap labor to farmers.”

“The farmers will not be affected,” Trump stated.

Binder covered how the Trump administration will handle the agricultural situation:

Trump said his administration is actually making the process easier for farmers to more quickly get H-2A foreign visa workers into the U.S. — referring to the State and Agriculture Departments’ orders to waive visa requirements and allow visa-holders to stay in the country for more than three years.

“No, the farmers will not be affected by this at all,” Trump stated. “If anything, we’re going to make it easier, and we’re doing a process for those workers to come in to go to the farm where they’ve been for a long time.”

Trump did concede that an immigration pause is necessary in order to protect the 22 million or so unemployed Americans from having to compete with cheap labor.

“I want our citizens to get jobs. I don’t want them to have competition,” Trump stated. “I want the American worker and our American citizens to be able to get jobs. I don’t want them to compete right now.”

Binder provided a breakdown of some of the numbers regarding H-2A visas:

The H-2A program allows American farms to import a limitless number of foreign workers and pay them below-average U.S. wages. American farms do not wholly rely on H-2A foreign visa workers to fill agricultural jobs, as the foreign workers make up only about ten percent of the total U.S. crop farm workforce. Last year, U.S. farmers hired roughly 250,000 H-2A foreign visa workers.

The Breitbart immigration policy reported continued noting the wage discrepancies:

In 2017, H-2A foreign visa workers picking crops were paid about two percent less than their American counterparts. Likewise, foreign visa workers operating agricultural equipment were paid 23 percent less than the national average U.S. wage. The largest wage discrepancy comes with H-2A foreign visa workers who take jobs as first-line supervisors for farming and fishing. They are paid about 95 percent less than their American counterparts.

Ann Coulter OPED: Trump and China: A Love Story

Trump and China: A Love Story

Source: Xie Huanchi/Xinhua via AP

Liberals claim to be appalled that Trump didn’t issue his stay-at-home protocols for the Wuhan virus back in January or early February. What do you think the media’s reaction would have been if Trump had started babbling about a viral pandemic in the middle of his impeachment trial?

Let’s see. On Jan. 28, Trump released his long-awaited “Middle East Peace Plan,” which was immediately denounced by everyone except Jared Kushner and Sheldon Adelson. Still, the last 1 million Middle East Peace Plans led to tons of think pieces, analyses and arguments.

Here’s how Trump’s “Peace Plan” was reported:

“Tonight, impeached and indicted. Seems like a good time for a distraction: Their plan for peace in the Middle East.” — Becky Anderson, CNN, Jan. 28, 2020

“The Trump administration has dubbed it the deal of the century. Critics see it as a PR stunt to distract from Trump’s impeachment.” — Michele Kelemen, NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Jan. 28, 2020

“Many analysts and supporters of a two-state solution to the [Middle East] conflict have called the promised rollout of the plan this week a distraction from Mr. Trump’s impeachment trial.” — The New York Times, Jan. 25, 2020

There are plenty of reasons to attack Trump for the virus sweeping our country, but the media are mad at him for not doing something that would have been absurd: shutting down the country when there wasn’t a single Wuhan flu death in the nation and the media had barely mentioned it.

In fact, the first time most news consumers heard about the latest Chinese coronavirus was when liberals attacked Trump for shutting down travel from China at the end of January.

The Times responded with an op-ed titled, “Who Says It’s Not Safe to Travel to China?” bemoaning “xenophobic rhetoric and the building of walls.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders mocked the ban at a CNN town hall debate, saying, “I don’t know you have to stop travel from China,” but Trump likes “to build walls … to separate us from other people.”
Politico cited “a growing chorus of public health experts” who warned that the China travel ban could “stigmatiz[e] people of Asian descent.”
The Nation magazine reported that the risk to Americans from the Wuhan coronavirus was “low” and accused Trump of playing to “well-worn, racist tropes that depict Chinese people as dirty and disease-carrying.”

So go screw yourselves, media.

On the other hand, Trump does deserve a lot of the blame for the Wuhan virus by keeping — wait, checking my notes — NONE of his promises on China. This, the media will never mention.

During the campaign, Trump sure talked a good game. He said, “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country.” He vowed to put tariffs on their goods and bring manufacturing home.

Then he got elected, and Jared Kushner, Gary Cohn and Trump’s other salt-of-the-earth advisers told him tariffs were a bad idea. So he imposed no tariffs for two long years and, today, almost all our pharmaceuticals, face masks and other crucial supplies are still being made in China.

On the bright side, China fast-tracked all of Ivanka’s trademarks!

Trump has allowed hundreds of thousands of Chinese students to keep attending American universities. He can’t stop gushing about the H-1B workers. In 2018, Trump tweeted a warm welcome to H1-B visa holders, promising them “a path to citizenship” and heaping praise on these “talented and highly skilled people” taking American jobs.

Norman Matloff, University of California, Davis, computer science professor recently wrote:

“Here is something you won’t read elsewhere: Silicon Valley leads the SF Bay Area in COVID-19 cases — leads by FAR ….

“Silicon Valley, of course, is home to very large numbers of immigrant engineers from China, who have the means to make frequent trips to China to visit family, especially during Chinese New Year, when the virus started to spread like mad within China and started to do so in the U.S.”

As we now know, the first two Wuhan flu deaths in America were in … Silicon Valley.

“Birth tourism” has also continued apace under Trump, with tens of thousands of pregnant Chinese ladies flying to America every year for the sole purpose of giving birth to an anchor baby, who will then be used to bring the whole family here.

There’s one way to stop it, and Trump could do it tomorrow. Sign an executive order ending the anchor baby scam. Not say he’s going to sign it, as he does whenever he wants to gin up the base. Actually sign it.

The Supreme Court has never ruled that the children born to illegal aliens or tourists are citizens, for the simple reason that that would be insane. The 14th amendment is about slavery, as the court has repeatedly held, not Chinese birth tourists or pregnant Mexicans.

But he won’t do it. Ivanka needs her trademarks — and Goldman might give Jared a job! Sorry about that Wuhan flu, America.

Judicial Watch: Emails Suggest Obama FBI Knew McCain Leaked Trump Dossier

April 22, 2020

URL of the originating web site: https://www.judicialwatch.org/press-releases/judicial-watch-emails-suggest-obama-fbi-knew-mccain-leaked-trump-dossier/

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it received 138 pages of emails between former FBI official Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page. The records include an email dated January 10, 2017, in which Strzok said that the version of the dossier published by BuzzFeed was “identical” to the version given to the FBI by McCain and had “differences” from the dossier provided to the FBI by Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson and Mother Jones reporter David Corn. January 10, 2017, is the same day BuzzFeed published the anti-Trump dossier by former British spy Christopher Steele, The emails also show Strzok and other FBI agents mocking President Trump a few weeks before he was inaugurated. In addition, the emails reveal that Strzok communicated with then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe about the “leak investigation” tied to the Clinton Foundation (the very leak in which McCabe was later implicated).

The records were produced to Judicial Watch in a January 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the DOJ failed to respond to a December 2017 request for all communications between Strzok and Page (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00154)).

The FBI has only processed the records at a rate of 500 pages per month and has refused to process text messages. At this rate, the production of these communications would not be completed until at least late 2021. The FBI is now using the coronavirus as an excuse to shut down the production of any further records.

On January 10, 2017, Strzok, under the subject “RE: Buzzfeed published some of the reports,” writes: “Our internet system is blocking the site. I have the pdf via iPhone, but it’s 25.6MB. Comparing now. The set is only identical to what [Sen. John] McCain had (it has differences from what was given to us by Corn and Simpson).”

Strzok sent the email to Page and several top-ranking FBI officials, including Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Assistant Director for the Counterintelligence Division Bill Priestap, Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Jon Moffa, Assistant Director for Public Affairs Michael Kortan, General Counsel James Baker, and Director James Comey’s Chief of Staff James Rybicki.

Earlier, on January 10, 2017, BuzzFeed published a version of the dossier that Strzok said was “identical” to what McCain’s office had turned over to the FBI. Strzok sent the BuzzFeed-related email at 7:48 PM. At 8:23 PM on the same day, Strzok forwards to Page and several FBI officials an article by the UK outlet The Guardian titled “FBI chief given dossier by John McCain alleging secret Trump-Russia contacts.”

David Corn was one of Steele’s media contacts. Fusion GPS paid Steele, via funds from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s campaign, to write the dossier. In testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in August 2017, Simpson said he was not aware of any version of the Steele dossier being given to the FBI.

While acknowledging he had given the dossier to the FBI, McCain had denied being the source of the BuzzFeed dossier report. But court filings which were unsealed in March 2019 show the Arizona Republican senator and an associate had shared the dossier with several media outlets.

Former State Department official and McCain associate David Kramer said in a December 13, 2017, deposition that the dossier was given to him by Steele and he then provided it to journalists at outlets including CNN, BuzzFeed and The Washington Post. The details were first reported by The Daily Caller.

The new production of records also includes a December 22, 2016, email in which Strzok asks then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe if the FBI had opened a “leak investigation” into Clinton Foundation media reports. Strzok writes: “I received word via Jen that tomorrow morning Mike S [presumably Executive Assistant Director Michael Steinbach] wants to talk about whether we have opened a leak investigation into the publicity surrounding the C Foundation. He said he’d like to discuss, as the D [Director James Comey] ‘would like to do something.’ I need guidance as to how/if you’d like me to detail the media pull we conducted. As you may recall, we have not detailed that activity other than to you and Bill.” McCabe’s reply to Strzok is redacted.

McCabe was fired from the FBI in March 2018 for leaking to the media and lacking “candor.” A February 2018 DOJ inspector general report concluded “that McCabe’s disclosure of the existence of an ongoing investigation … violated the FBI’s and the Department’s media policy and constituted misconduct.” McCabe was referred for prosecution but the Justice Department declined.

The documents also include several emails in which Strzok forwards Russiagate-related news articles to Page and other FBI officials. On January 1, 2017, Strzok forwarded to Moffa and another unidentified official a New York Times article titled “Trump Promises Revelation on Hacking”. The article discusses President-elect Donald Trump’s skepticism about U.S. intelligence assessments of Russian hacking relating to the 2016 election. Strzok cut-and-pasted a quote from the article in which Trump said, “I don’t care what they say, no computer is safe. I have a boy who’s 10 years old; he can do anything with a computer. You want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier.” The article mentions that Trump said new information would be coming out the following Tuesday. Strzok then says in his cover note, “I think the Tuesday surprise is all the stuff [redacted] told him during the CI [counterintelligence] briefing. He DID mention the stuff about his son and the computer password …” A redacted FBI agent replies to Strzok, but the reply is also redacted. Another FBI agent then responds, “To be accurate he called it a code word not a password. Ha!” Strzok replies, “Funnies.”

On December 15, 2016, Strzok forwards to Page an article from the Daily Mail which states that a former British diplomat, Craig Murray, claimed to have received emails that were stolen from the DNC and John Podesta. Murray said he received the emails near the grounds of American University in Washington, DC. The article says the emails were from an inside DNC source, not Russians. Strzok writes in his cover note to Page, “Shaddy sh*t at AU…;)”.

On December 21, 2016, Strzok forwards to Page a link to a Defense One article about Russian efforts to interfere in the U.S. presidential election. Strzok cut-and-pasted a quote from former Acting CIA Director Michael Morell in which Morell says, “To me, and this is to me not an overstatement, this is the political equivalent of 9/11.”

On December 26, 2016, Strzok forwards to Moffa and an unidentified Washington Field Office agent a Bloomberg article titled “Trump Aide Partnered with Firm Run by Man with Alleged KGB Ties.” The article reports that Trump adviser Gen. Michael Flynn, having partnered in 2016 with Subu Kota, a man who pleaded guilty in 1996 to selling stolen biotech material to an FBI agent posing as a Russian spy. Strzok forwarded the article to Page, saying, “See, look, I’m sharing… ;)”

On January 4, 2017, Strzok forwards to Page a 14-page white paper by the Capital Research Center entitled “Conducting Foreign Relations Without Authority: The Logan Act.” He had previously sent the same file to Office of General Counsel attorney Trisha Anderson and to Priestap.

In a January 4, 2017, email thread a redacted official in the FBI’s Operational Technology Division emails Strzok and Page: “The AD [Assistant Director] of Cyber is apparently bringing up the idea of [redacted]. [Redacted] just messaged me after being pinged by SF [likely the FBI’s San Francisco office]. He asked why this was coming up again, and he wants to talk to me about it next week. Any recommendation on how to deal with this?” Pages replies, “Why don’t you let Pete or Bill or I reach out to the AD of Cyber to let him know how we got here [redacted]. It might then be worth [redacted].” The official responds, “Perfect. That works for me and you can mention that OTD brought it to you. My initial recommendation was for the AD to reach out to you two, but I can only assume that message did not reach him.”

On January 9, 2017, in an email with the subject line “USIC report,” [U.S. Intelligence Community] Strzok tells Page and a redacted official “Per D’s request on Friday, NYO received a single copy of the influence report from ODNI’s [redacted]; it is being maintained in the CD SAC’s safe for PEOTUS [president-elect of the United States]/senior staff.”

On January 10, 2017, Strzok emails Page, Moffa, Priestap and Jennifer Boone to say, “Per Rich [presumably Richard Quinn, formerly with the public affairs office], CNN to publish C material today between 4 and 5. Page replies: “We have lots of details from kortan [Asst Dir Michael Kortan of public affairs]. He will brief at the 3:45.” Strzok responds: “Can I maybe get a read out vis a vis relationship with Brits etc?”

“These new emails show that Strzok and his Obama FBI colleagues knew almost immediately that McCain likely leaked the infamous dossier,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The emails also show that senior FBI officials had contempt for President Trump and gossiped about its counterintelligence briefing to him. The FBI under Comey and McCabe was a train wreck and, given the ongoing cover-up of these docs, the agency hasn’t improved much.”

In February 2020, Judicial Watch uncovered an August 2016 email in which Strzok says that Clinton, in her interview with the FBI about her email controversy, apologized for “the work and effort” it caused the bureau and she said she chose to use it “out of convenience” and that “it proved to be anything but.” Strzok said Clinton’s apology and the “convenience” discussion were “not in” the FBI 302 report that summarized the interview.

Also in February, Judicial Watch made public Strzok-Page emails showing their direct involvement in the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, the bureau’s investigation of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. The records also show additional “confirmed classified emails” were found on Clinton’s unsecure non-state.gov email server “beyond the number presented” in then-FBI Director James Comey’s statements; Strzok and Page questioning the access the DOJ was granting Clinton’s lawyers; and Page revealing that the DOJ was making edits to FBI 302 reports related to the Clinton Midyear Exam investigation. The emails detail a discussion about “squashing” an issue related to the Seth Rich controversy.

In January 2020, Judicial Watch uncovered Strzok-Page emails that detail special accommodations given to the lawyers of Clinton and her aides during the FBI investigation of the Clinton email controversy.

In November 2019, Judicial Watch revealed Strzok-Page emails that show the attorney representing three of Clinton’s aides were given meetings with senior FBI officials.

Also in November, Judicial Watch uncovered emails revealing that after Clinton’s statement denying the transmission of classified information over her unsecure email system, Strzok sent an email to FBI officials citing “three [Clinton email] chains” containing (C) [classified] portion marks in front of paragraphs.”

MEDIA AMNESIA: How the Media, Democrats Botched the Growing Coronavirus Crisis Coverage

Posted by Hannity Staff – 21 hours ago | April 21, 2020

The media mob and leaders in the Democratic Party continue to desperately blame President Trump and his administration for the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic that emerged from China earlier this year; conveniently ignoring their early botched reporting, misrepresentations, and outright negligence during the impeachment trial and a series of national televised debates.

To correct the left’s selective memory and falsehoods surrounding the global pandemic, here’s the complete timeline:

Politicians Downplay the Threat

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

January 26, 2020

“I want all New Yorkers to know we are prepared and continue to take all necessary steps to keep people informed and safe,” Governor Cuomo said. “I have directed the Department of Health and other state agencies to continue working closely with the CDC, the World Health Organization.

January 28, 2020

“While we continue to closely monitor the spread of this novel coronavirus, I have directed our Department of Health to continue communicating with and providing updates to our local communities, healthcare providers, colleges, universities and New York companies with locations or business interests in China,” Governor Cuomo said. “My message to New Yorkers is: take this coronavirus seriously, take proper precautions, stay informed.

January 30, 2020

“New York does not have one single confirmed case of the novel coronavirus, but we are taking every necessary precaution to protect against its spread into our state. We have been here before,” Governor Cuomo said. “I am urging New Yorkers to take basic precautions against the flu, such as regular hand washing and avoiding close contact with people who are sick. These measures will also help people avoid coming in contact with the novel coronavirus.”

February 2, 2020

“Thank you very much Doctor. So the long and the short of it is the federal government has mandated certain actions. We are implementing those actions. Before the federal government announced anything, we were very diligent. We take situations like this very seriously. We understand the density of New York, the complexity of New York. Whatever happens internationally, it winds up at our doorstep relatively quickly. So, we have seen situations like this before. We are very proactive. I don’t take anything for granted. Precaution is always the best practice. Preparedness is always the best practice, and that is what we do here in New York. At the same time, we have to keep this in perspective. But also feel confident that our Health Department and this administration are prepared and ready… There is no reason to have an inordinate amount of fear… Take every one seriously, but don’t have an overly anxious reaction to any one situation.”

February 7, 2020

“Governor Cuomo: Well said, Commissioner. And just as the Commissioner said, yesterday we were contacted by the federal department of HHS and CDC on the cruise ship that was coming into the New York Harbor. There have been no confirmed cases of coronavirus on that cruise ship. Four people are being tested, but there were no confirmed cases and we’re working with them on that. And just to reiterate what the Commissioner, there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in New York thus far. We would expect as time goes on that we will find a case of Coronavirus if you look at the spread of it around the world, we would expect that and we are prepared for that. We have taken a lot of time to put protocols in place and quarantine procedures, et cetera. But again, I understand the fear. We went through this before: Zika virus, Ebola, et cetera. Let me turn it over to Rick Cotton, who is the Executive Director of the Port Authority, who can speak about the Coronavirus and how it’s affecting flights, et cetera.”

February 10, 2020

“We are continuing to take every necessary precaution to protect New Yorkers from this virus,” Governor Cuomo said. “While there are still no confirmed cases of the virus in New York State, I urge everyone to continue to take commonsense precautions, such as regular hand washing and avoiding close contact with people who are sick.”

February 26, 2020

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced a $40 million appropriation for the New York State Department of Health to hire additional staff, procure equipment… But let’s have some connection to the reality of the situation, and as the doctor said, catching the flu right now is a much greater risk than anything that has anything to do with Coronavirusand any other resources necessary to respond to the potential novel coronavirus pandemic

“I have said before that it is highly probable that you will see a continuing spread of this virus. It is highly probable that we will have people in New York State that test positive. New York is the front door internationally. We have people coming here from across the world. We see how it is spreading and affecting different countries – Italy recently – and that will continue. Again, I think it is highly probable and no one should be surprised when we have positive cases in New York.”

“As a matter of perspective, you take in one of these situations very seriously, and that’s what government should do. Whether it’s SARS or Ebola or Zika or Legionnaire’s, we took every moment very seriously. If you prepare correctly, you’ll have less of an issue when or if a situation develops into something that is more problematic. I was at the Jewish Community Center this past Sunday. It was a bomb threat – an email bomb threat – something I heard when I was in the federal government in emergency management, they said, “The threat that you don’t take seriously is the one that becomes serious.” So we take every situation like this seriously and we prepare for it, but from a public point of view, I want to keep the perspective right. Yes, we’re preparing, but this situation is not a situation that should cause undue fear among people. Yes, it is a serious illness, has a higher mortality rate than the flu, et cetera, but not like some of these situations. We had 17,000 people in the State of New York last week that had the flu – 17,000. So we’ve dealt with situations like this in the past and we’ll deal with it again.”

February 28, 2020

“Well, that’s all you can ask. Let’s talk about this because you’re right. It is balance and what we say is important because you don’t want to panic people, but you don’t want people to think you’re not telling the truth either, right or government is misinformed or taking it lightly. And I’ve spent a lot of time on this and I’m going to spend more time on it. It’s number one on my list. It is exactly what you said. It is preparedness. No expert can tell you what the trajectory is. None of them. There are scenarios. Some are the simpler situation, it’s seasonal, it works its way out. And remember, we’ve gone through this before. Ebola, Zika, West Nile, Legionnaires disease, H1N1.”

“Now this has a higher mortality rate than the flu. But it’s not Ebola either right. It’s not that contracting it is a very high probability of mortality. But if you take the worst case scenarios they are problematic and they are disruptive. And

I talked to the Vice President yesterday, Pence, who the President put in charge of it. And I saw the President on a press conference and they said, “Why did you put the Vice President when you had the Health and Human Services Secretary.” This is not going to be a Health and Human Services agency function. To be prepared, you have to mobilize multiple systems, right. Just start to run the video tape in your mind. People are coming in to the airport at JFK. They’re coming from a place that may have the virus. You now have more countries that have the virus. So more people are coming in.”

March 1, 2020

The patient, a woman in her late thirties, contracted the virus while traveling abroad in Iran, and is currently isolated in her home. The patient has respiratory symptoms, but is not in serious condition and has been in a controlled situation since arriving to New York. The positive test was confirmed by New York’s Wadsworth Lab in Albany, underscoring the importance of the ability for our state to ensure efficient and rapid turnaround, and is exactly why I advocated for the approval from Vice President Pence that New York was granted just yesterday.

March 2, 2020

Anthony Mason: Governor, how effective do you expect that test to be? Do you have enough? Will you have enough? You have to be prepared for it and being prepared, Jay, is not as easy as it sounds, right… This evening we learned of the first positive case of novel coronavirus —or COVID-19 — in New York State. There is no cause for surprise — this was expected. As I said from the beginning, it was a matter of when, not if there would be a positive case of novel coronavirus in New York There is no reason for undue anxiety — the general risk remains low in New York. We are diligently managing this situation and will continue to provide information as it becomes available.”

Governor Cuomo: Good question. We just got the federal authority to do the testing, and we are now going to scale up very, very quickly. So, we’ll have the ability to test and, again, in this quote, unquote, containment phase. It’s about the detection and then the isolation and it’s the mobilization of the health care system more than anything. Beyond that, it’s a communication issue to people, you know. We want to have a healthy diligence about this issue, but we don’t want an unnecessary anxiety and we don’t want people overreacting. So that’s what this is really about to me.

Tony Dokoupil: Can you confirm that she lives in Manhattan? If that is the case, have you rule ruled out the possibility of something like we saw in China, where a city or region is sealed off as a containment method?

Governor Cuomo: .

Again, this is not — by the way, Ebola was much more frightening than this issue. We’ve gone

through viruses that are frankly more frightening than this, so we need a little context for all of this, a little perspective. We have to treat it. We have to be serious, but the fear, in my opinion, is outpacing reason at this point.

March 2, 2020

“Also, we’re extrapolating from what happened in China and other countries. We have the best healthcare system in the world here. And excuse our arrogance as New Yorkers, I speak for the Mayor also on this one. We are fully coordinated, we are fully mobilized, this is all about mobilization of a public health

system. Getting the testing done, getting the information out and then having the healthcare resources to treat people who are going to need help. Again, that is going to be primarily senior citizens, people who are debilitated. And we’re going to have a special effort for our nursing homes, et cetera, congregate facilities where senior citizens are being treated.”

Governor Cuomo: You live your life. Yes, you take extra precautions, hand sanitizer, etcetera, but we have 15,000 people in New York in hospitals today, Brooke. Fifteen thousand, for the flu. That’s the normal flu. Are you going to see this virus spread? Yes, and this obsession of one case, one case, new case, new case – you will see dozens and dozens and dozens of cases. That is going to happen.

We’re doing more testing. We have the hospital beds, and the mortality rate, the lethality of this disease is double the normal flu rate but it is manageable although unfortunate and that’s what this is, if people actually believed it. The fear factor is in some ways harder to deal with than the reality.

Trump’s Ready to Open Up America, Here Is His Plan In Bullet Points

Posted By Published on

We’re finally reaching the point where we can come out of hiding a little bit and look at the sun once again. On Thursday, President Trump announced a plan for the “opening of America” and working toward getting life back to normal once again. In essence, he has left it up to each individual governor of their respective states to decide how fast and what to do exactly, but has laid out a plan to follow overall.

Some states that were not impacted as hard as others may open up quicker than others that were ravaged like New York. Governor Andrew Cuomo has already announced that he’s extending things until next month as have a few other governors already.

Here is a summation of what the plan for “opening up America” entails:

PHASE ONE

  • All vulnerable people should shelter in place.
  • Avoid socializing in groups of more than 10.
  • Non-essential travel should be minimized.
  • Working from home where possible.
  • Schools and youth activities remain closed.
  • Large public venues such as movie theaters, restaurants, sporting venues and places of worship can operate under strict social distancing rules.
  • Elective surgeries can resume.
  • Gyms can reopen if they stick to strict social distancing.

PHASE TWO

  • Non-essential travel can resume.
  • Schools and youth activities can reopen.
  • All vulnerable people should continue to shelter in place.
  • Gatherings of more than 50 people should be avoided.
  • People are encouraged to work from home.
  • Large venues can operate under moderate social distancing rules.
  • Bars may operate with diminished standing room occupancy.

PHASE THREE

  • Vulnerable people can resume public interactions, but should practice social distancing.
  • Visits to senior care facilities and hospitals can resume.
  • Employers can resume unrestricted staffing at work sites.
  • Low-risk populations should consider minimizing time spent in crowded places.
  • Large venues can operate under limited social distancing rules.
  • Bars may operate with increased standing room.

Flashback: Adam Schiff Hijacked House Intelligence Hearing on China to Subpoena a Russian Translator

“The House Republicans have been running an investigation into China on the Intelligence Committee for many, many years…so we’ve been on this for awhile, and remember, we were dealing with the Russian hoax in Congress at the same time the House Republicans were trying to run an investigation into China,” he said on Fox and Friends.

“And the Democrats — finally we had a public hearing on this — and they hijacked the hearing to try to subpoena whatever Russian of the week they were looking after. So this has been a challenge for us, to get Russia on the forefront, and now, both Republicans and Democrats realize this,” he said.

Nunes was referring to the July 19, 2018, hearing on China held by Nunes, when he was the chairman of the Intelligence Committee. The hearing’s topic was “China’s threat to American government and private sector research and innovation leadership.” During the hearing, then-Ranking Schiff began his opening remarks, not on China, but with his concerns about President Trump meeting alone with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland, earlier that month, and then raised a motion to subpoena the interpreter who attended the meeting. The hearing then devolved into confusion over whether Schiff was able to raise that motion, forcing Nunes to call for a recess. The witnesses — four top China experts — were left to talk to committee staff and among themselves, as Breitbart News reported at the time.

After the recess, Republicans voted to table the motion. Schiff demanded a recorded vote.

“Schiff has decided to turn this hearing into a Russia clown show,” a house staffer said.

Schiff, or his staff, later tweeted about his failed attempt to subpoena the interpreter at the China hearing.

“BREAKING: @RepSwalwell and I just made a motion in House Intel Committee to subpoena the American interpreter during the summit — the only witness to Trump’s meeting with Putin. This is an extraordinary remedy, but Trump’s actions necessitate it. Republicans voted it down.”

Republicans also say Democrats’ singular focus on impeaching Trump also distracted Congress earlier this year, when the coronavirus spread. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) scheduled a vote on impeachment articles on Trump the same day the first person from Wuhan, China, arrived to the United States, on January 15. She passed out commemorative signing pens and encouraged Americans to watch the House impeachment managers bring the articles over to the Senate.

The White House stood up its coronavirus task force on January 29, and ordered a ban on travel from China on January 31, the same day the World Health Organization acknowledged that the coronavirus was a global health emergency. However, the Senate impeachment trial continued until February 5.

Star-Studded ‘One World’ Benefit Concert for the W.H.O. Sparks Outrage: ‘Commie Propaganda’

The “One World” concert, led by the W.H.O. and non-profit group Global Citizen, was broadcast across multiple television channels in the U.S. and around the world on Saturday, with the aim of raising money for the W.H.O.’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

The line-up of stars for the event included Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, and Lady Gaga, who even described W.H.O. Director-General Tedros Adhanom as a “superstar.”

The concert also attracted contributions from political figures such as former first ladies Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, as well as celebrity supporters of the cause including former soccer star David Beckham and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

However, many people were left unimpressed by the event, denouncing the organization’s handling of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic and describing it as a form of globalist propaganda.

“If I could give No stars I would,” one Amazon reviewer wrote. “WHO lied! People died!! Let’s not forgot this!!! While we’re home given up our freedom and most of us without jobs these CELEBRITIES ask us to help raise money for the WHO?! Forget it!”

“Yes, we need useless celebrities preaching to us how this isn’t China’s fault and how we should just all live as one nation,” added another.

Skeptics also lashed out on Twitter against W.H.O. chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom, a former official in Ethiopia’s Marxist Tigray People’s Liberation Front, who has been the subject of widespread criticism for his attempts to downplay China’s role in the outbreak.

“Today I’m instructing my administration to halt funding of the World Health Organization while a review is conducted to assess the World Health Organization’s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus,” Trump said at a White House press conference Tuesday.

“The WHO’s attack on travel restrictions put political correctness above life-saving measures,” he continued. “The reality is that the WHO failed to adequately obtain, vet and share information in a timely and transparent fashion. Antibody Testing Reveals Coronavirus 50-85 Times More Widespread Than Previously Known and Thus Far Less Dangerous Than Expected

Reported By Cristina Laila | Published April 17, 2020 at 12:25pm

The first large-scale test of 3,300 people in a California county revealed that 2.5% to 4.2% of people tested for COVID-19 were positive for antibodies.

The new antibody testing shows the Coronavirus is far more widespread than previously known and thus far less dangerous.

The data indicates that there are between 50 to 80-fold more infections than confirmed cases.

This is a huge development.

ABC reported:

The first large-scale community test of 3,300 people in Santa Clara County found that 2.5 to 4.2% of those tested were positive for antibodies — a number suggesting a far higher past infection rate than the official count.

Based on the initial data, researchers estimate that the range of people who may have had the virus to be between 48,000 and 81,000 in the county of 2 million — as opposed to the approximately 1,000 in the county’s official tally at the time the samples were taken.

“Our findings suggest that there is somewhere between 50- and 80-fold more infections in our county than what’s known by the number of cases than are reported by our department of public health,” Dr. Eran Bendavid, the associate professor of medicine at Stanford University who led the study, said in an interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer.

It’s time to open America again and let people get back to work.

Alex Berenson

@AlexBerenson

The @stanford antibody testing is out – it estimates ~3% of people in Santa Clara County (CA) have been infected and recovered, 50-plus times the estimate of confirmed active cases. More evidence is far more widespread and thus less dangerous than expected.

USA For The Win! Michigan Sheriffs DEFY Governor Whitmer’s Lockdown Orders, Vow to Protect Civil Liberties

Written by daniel | April 17, 2020

On Wednesday, Michigan residents banded together to protest against Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s wildly inconsistent stay at home orders that she’s been putting in place for the lockdown. Thousands of people gathered in this “drive-by” protest because they’re sick of Gov. Whitmer’s stupidity.

Keep in mind it was Whitmer who banned the use of hydroxychloroquine for people in Michigan who may benefit from using the treatment. This is against doctors even. The governor of a state has no business telling a doctor how to do his or her job.

Now a number of sheriffs in Michigan have vowed to defy the governors orders in the case of the measures that they say overstep her authority. Sheriffs Mike Borkovich, Ted Schendel, Ken Falk, and Kim Cole announced their decision Wednesday, telling the public that they take their oath to the U.S. Constitution seriously and consider themselves the “last line of defense in protecting your civil liberties.”

“We write today to inform the public for our respective counties of our opposition to some of Governor Whitmer’s executive orders,” the press release reads, as reported by Michigan Live.

“While we understand her desire to protect the public, we question some restrictions that she has imposed as overstepping her executive authority,” the sheriffs continued. “She has created a vague framework of emergency laws that only confuse Michigan citizens.”

Instead, the sheriffs “will deal with every case as an individual situation and apply common sense.”

As one person put it, “Quarantine is when you restrict movement of sick people. Tyranny is when you restrict the movement of healthy people.”

He added, “Every person has learned a harsh lesson about social distancing. We don’t need a nanny state to tell people how to be careful.”

And it’s very apparent that they have let this get out of control in other states as well. Mississippi was fining people for going to church and literally had to be told by the Department of Justice that they can’t do that!

This is why we fight for our freedoms because they have no problem taking them away.

I am glad to find this article today because I have been wondering what would happen if we told all these tyrannical politicians to take their draconian EXECUTIVE ORDERS and shove them. These Sherriff’s realize the difference between a “lawful” and “unlawful” order. Once again I remind you: EXECUTIVE ORDERS BY ANY POLITICAL EXECUTIVE HAS NO WEIGHT OF LAW.
I’m 73 years old. I’m breaking out of this “house arrest”.

BOMBSHELL: Millions in US Taxpayer Dollars Given to Wuhan Lab to Study Coronavirus in Bats

Reported by   | April 15, 2020

The Wuhan Institute houses over 1,500 strains of deadly viruses. The U.S. taxpayer subsidized bizarre Chinese experimentation regarding coronavirus in bats to the tune of millions. It was the official story from China that the virus came from bats being sold at a nearby wet market, but this propaganda line from the communist regime does not hold up under scrutiny.

“It seems clear that the seafood market is not the only origin of the virus,” said Cao Bin, a doctor at the Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, who noted that 13 of the first 41 patients who contracted the virus had no interaction with the market.

“Virus collection, culture, isolation, or animal infection would pose a substantial risk of infection of a lab worker, and from the lab worker then the public,” Ebright said. His conclusion is that the available evidence creates “a basis to rule out [that coronavirus is] a lab construct, but no basis to rule out a lab accident.”

The Wuhan Institute ultimately published their US-funded research in November 2017 under the header: “Discovery of a rich gene pool of bat SARS-related coronaviruses provides new insights into the origin of SARS coronavirus.”

Some of the experimentation going on at the Wuhan Institute borders on mad science. One particularly heinous study was published in April 2018 under the title: “Fatal swine acute diarrhea syndrome caused by an HKU2-related coronavirus of bat origin.”

“Following a 2016 bat-related coronavirus outbreak on Chinese pig farms, bats were captured in a cave and samples were taken. Experimenters grew the virus in a lab and injected it into three-day-old piglets. Intestinal samples from sick piglets were ground up and fed to other piglets as well,” the description of the study reads.

“I’m disgusted to learn that for years the US government has been funding dangerous and cruel animal experiments at the Wuhan Institute, which may have contributed to the global spread of coronavirus, and research at other labs in China that have virtually no oversight from US authorities,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said after the news was revealed in the Daily Mail.

Even fake news rags like the Washington Post are now admitting that the coronavirus likely came out of a laboratory, following weeks of denouncing the notion as a baseless conspiracy theory.

“The Chinese government, meanwhile, has put a total lock down on information related to the virus origins. Beijing has yet to provide U.S. experts with samples of the novel coronavirus collected from the earliest cases,” columnist Josh Rogin wrote in his op/ed.

In addition, Dr. Anthony Fauci – the favorite coronavirus doom prophet of panic-stricken Americans – may have also approved taxpayer-funded coronavirus research in China. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) funded coronavirus research within bats as well in an alliance with the Wuhan Institute. Fauci has lorded over NIAID since 1984.

The research funded by NIAID was summarized as follows: “A newly identified coronavirus that killed nearly 25,000 piglets in 2016-17 in China emerged from horseshoe bats near the origin of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), which emerged in 2002 in the same bat species. The new virus, called swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV), doesn’t appear to infect people, unlike SARS-CoV.”

The conclusions for the research were found by a “collaboration among scientists from EcoHealth Alliance, Duke-NUS Medical School, Wuhan Institute of Virology and other organizations, and was funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health.”

Because of globalism, the U.S. taxpayer is likely subsidizing their own destruction. It is entirely plausible that the federal swamp bankrolled the coronavirus pandemic.

The media are outraged that President Trump is talking about re-opening the country, following their previous position that he sure was taking his sweet time at opening up the country. Fortunately, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s death forecasts from the Wuhan coronavirus have shrunk from 1.7 million Americans in mid-March; to 100,000 to 200,000 two weeks ago, provided there were massive suppression efforts; to — most recently — 60,000.

Every week, it seems, we’re another two weeks away from the “apex.”

According to a model recently published in The New York Times, if Trump had issued social distancing guidelines just two weeks earlier — on March 2, rather than March 16 — instead of 60,000 Americans dying from the Chinese coronavirus (projected!), only 6,000 would have died. If that’s what a two-week quarantine would have done, then how about a four-week quarantine?

By the end of the month, 90% of the country will have been shut down, quarantined and socially distancing for FOUR WEEKS. A majority of Americans have already been under these self-isolation rules for three weeks. (And most of the rest live in rural communities 16 miles from one another.)

Two weeks is the magic number. Test positive for the Wuhan: self-quarantine for two weeks. Come into contact with someone who has it: self-quarantine for two weeks. Traveling from New York, New Jersey or Connecticut: self-quarantine for two weeks.

With cold and flu viruses, people develop symptoms after just five days. But to be extra safe, we’re assuming the Wuhan virus can be transmitted for a full two weeks after contact.

After two weeks, you’re either sick or the infection has passed through you with no symptoms. Again: It’s been three. Does social distancing work or doesn’t it?

After four weeks of self-isolation, won’t 90% of the country be Wuhan-free? Or are we in a sci-fi movie with a virus that can live forever without a host?

For the tiny percentage of the country not in self-isolation for the past three weeks, either because they are essential workers or because they are screw-offs, let’s add them to the “vulnerable” list. Everyone take special precautions around doctors, nurses, grocery store employees and people who don’t follow orders — just as we do around the elderly and immunocompromised.

By May 1, even most of the slackers will have worked through the Wuhan. There haven’t been any large gatherings for them to attend, and almost everyone else has been staying 6 feet away from them. They’ve had a month to infect one another and either live or die.

In any event, unless all the claims about social distancing are nonsense, then a ONE-MONTH nationwide quarantine should have killed off the Wuhan in 90% of us, allowing a return to mostly normal life. (It goes without saying that Trump’s travel bans will have to remain in place.)

I notice that the same people telling Americans they must remain at home indefinitely were indignant about closing bathhouses in response to the AIDS epidemic. Back then, the media and all gays except Randy Shilts said: How dare you ask us to shut down the bathhouses! They’re part of gay culture. It would be like asking Catholics to stop visiting the Sistine Chapel!

But putting the entire country under stay-at-home orders? No problem.

Another liberal about-face since the AIDS era gives me an idea for how to re-open the country.

Liberals are furious with Trump for expressing optimism about the experimental drug hydroxychloroquine. When it came to AIDS, the gay community’s successful campaign to compel the FDA to allow “compassionate” use of unapproved drugs was a civil rights milestone on the order of Selma.

In a 1990 editorial, for example, The New York Times praised the “educated and articulate” gay spokesmen for bringing about “changes in the traditional methods of testing drugs,” adding that the new procedures were “a compassionate response to AIDS sufferers.”

By contrast, today the media are absolutely ghoulish in their hope for hydroxychloroquine to fail. The drug is approved for malaria patients, so it’s “safe”; it’s simply not approved specifically to treat the Chinese virus. The reason for the media’s hostility to hydroxychloroquine is obvious: Trump expressed enthusiasm for the treatment, so liberals are required to take the opposite position.

It’s just like the Democrats’ recent infatuation with open borders. Until Trump, nearly every Democrat was for — or claimed to be for — border security, deporting criminal aliens and ending the anchor baby scam.

But as the Times’ Frank Bruni said, Democrats are “defining themselves as antonyms to Trump.” Why else, he wondered, would Democrats push policies like open borders, “which won’t go down well with many of the voters the party needs”?

Perhaps we could use this liberal neurosis to our advantage. To re-open the country, we need Trump to come out against it.

Nancy Pelosi: Little Sisters of the Poor Should be Forced to Pay for Abortions

Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi slammed a religious freedom rule as “despicable” last week for allowing a charitable group of Catholic nuns to be exempted from paying for contraception that may cause abortions in their employee health insurance plans.
