Pro-Abortion Group Uses Adorable Baby in Most Disturbing Ad Imaginable

Reported By Cillian Zeal | November 11, 2018 at 12:19pm

Imagine an ad on your television. It shows an adorable baby calf, frolicking in the barnyard. It couldn’t be cuter. Then the screen cuts to black and you see the text, “This could be your next meal. Come to Rudy’s House of Veal and this little sucker could be on your plate, drenched in our signature gravy.”

Not really the most effective advertising, no? Well, at least the calf had a chance to live and at least it’s livestock — which means, you know, something that’s being raised for meat. And that very much means it’s not a human life that’s being talked about.

If only the hypothetical ad agency that hypothetically dissuaded Rudy’s House of Veal from running that hypothetical creepy TV spot had hypothetically gotten in contact with pro-abortion advocates, maybe we wouldn’t be stuck watching what might be the most bizarre, amoral, counterproductive and macabre pro-abortion advertisement that’s ever been cobbled together.

According to LifeSite News, the ad was created in 2015 by the pro-abortion Agenda Project. The spot opens with a picture of an adorable, giggling baby with stock music-box soundtrack behind it. It looks, in fact, like the beginning of at least 72 percent of diaper ads.

The screen then goes black. “She deserves to be … loved,” the white text reads. Well, of course she does. I mean, you could say that for any child, especially one this cute.

So then we get more baby and more lullaby music. Fade to black again.

“She deserves to be … wanted,” it reads this time. If you didn’t read the first few paragraphs, you might think this was an adoption commercial or maybe Luvs was really short on ad copywriters that day. Only the bleakest, darkest hearts among us would think it was going, you know, there. But go there it does. More cooing baby, then: “She deserves to be … a choice. #StandWithPP.

While the video is three years old, it recently made the rounds on social media again — and sparked plenty of outrage.

My fingers are frozen, as if they don’t know what affront to our common humanity to type about first. There’s so much revulsion vying to get out it’s like 22 people trying to jam their way through one turnstile.

I think we can start by examining what appears to be the premise of this ad:

“See this baby? If it’s yours, you should have been able to kill it.” Yes, that’s a cynical view of it, but certainly not an incorrect interpretation. Let’s also keep in mind the most shocking thing about this clip — the pro-abortion side is actively admitting here that a baby is a baby. The image presented to you isn’t just a “clump of cells.” It’s a human being — and it’s a human being whose right to exist ought to have been up to you, they’re saying.

I mean, I wholeheartedly agree with everything but that part about the choice, but I wasn’t under the impression that the Cecile Richards regiment of the American left was actively trying to forward this line of thinking.

Beyond examining the semiotics of using a child to convince Americans that unborn children ought to be killed, let’s talk about the visceral effect of this ad. You present a cute, healthy baby girl and then make an argument she doesn’t have to exist if you don’t want her to.

Is everyone on the “pro-choice side” so far gone that nobody had the common sense to talk someone in a position of power out of releasing this? Did anyone involved with this abomination think those without strong feelings about the ethics of abortion were going to see this and take Planned Parenthood’s side?

Without showing the grisly horrors of the procedure, I couldn’t have made an ad more damaging to the pro-abortion cause than this. That a pro-abortion group released this in support of their cause is evidence of moral rot far beyond anything I could have imagined.

I thought there was almost nothing that could surprise me about the perfidies of America’s abortion industry. Thanks for proving me wrong, I guess.

Election Judge Sees Fraud 7 Ft Away. Reports It. Dems Demand She Be Removed: Report

Reported By Kara Pendleton | November 12, 2018 at 3:38am

While “all eyes” are on Florida amidst accusations of potential election fraud, there may have been something fishy going on in St. Clair County, Illinois. According to The Gateway Pundit, this would not be the first time something like this has happened, either.

Peggy A. Hubbard posted a multi-tweet thread explaining what happened in the 2018 midterm elections, noting that she was an election judge. She began describing some of what she witnessed as she watched the polling station.

But that wasn’t all she saw.

Not only is it shocking that anyone would allow this, but it’s also shocking that someone would get in such a state before then going to vote.

Hubbard noted that she also caught a city council member just feet away doing no good. But it was Hubbard taking flack.

She also elaborated further on how she put a stop to what she witnessed. It appears that these actions may have led to the complaints filed against her and her removal as an election judge being sought.

Hubbard has also posted about other problems with the election in her state. These are from 2016.

Hubbard is no stranger to standing up for what she believes in or in being attacked for it. In 2015, she “compared the black community’s reaction to the shooting of Mansur Ball-Bey in North St. Louis outside a crack house with the shooting death of 9 year-old Jamyla Bolden in Ferguson,” according to The Gateway Pundit.

Her video rant went viral. And the typical name-calling ensued, including her being referred to as an “Uncle Tom.”

Service isn’t new to Hubbard, either. She is a veteran who served aboard the USS SAMUEL GOMPERS AD-37.

Hubbard’s Twitter feed is filled with hard-hitting posts about the left and Democrat shenanigans. She has no problem speaking out against the Democrat Plantation” and “Black Lives Matter,” contrary to what blacks in America are expected to do.

Attorney: Advocates of identity politics would struggle with Brown for AG

Reported by Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) | Monday, November 12, 2018

Judge Janice Rogers Brown

A public policy analyst says President Donald Trump had already been talking to a potential replacement for Attorney General Jeff Sessions even before Sessions officially tendered his resignation last week.

Even before the ink on Session’s resignation was dry, names began to pop up as possible replacements – among them Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-South Carolina), former Judge Janice Rogers Brown (pictured), Solicitor General Noel Francisco, and the man Trump appointed as interim AG, Matthew Whitaker.

Abraham Hamilton III, general counsel and public policy analyst for the American Family Association, says the Trump administration had already been talking to Judge Brown about replacing Sessions before the midterms and the resignation.

Hamilton

“They had conversations with Janice Rogers Brown, who was an appellate court judge on the [District of Columbia] Court of Appeals,” he contends. “She retired not too long ago [August 2017] and she had been in Washington, DC, having conversations with the administration concerning the possibility of becoming the next attorney general.”

Brown, who’s also a former California Supreme Court associate justice, moved back to the Golden State after retiring. Hamilton thinks the Alabama native would be an outstanding pick.

“She is a black woman who was widely regarded as the most conservative judge on the DC Court of Appeals [and] she was a colleague of Brett Kavanaugh,” he describes. “She’s respected by everyone – and I think she would be a phenomenal pick. Whether she’s the odds-on favorite, I’m not sure.”

Brown’s nomination to the DC Circuit in mid-2003 was stalled in the U.S. Senate for almost two years because of Democratic opposition. But Hamilton argues her selection “would certainly pose a frustration for those who are embroiled in identity politics.”

“They cannot see anything unless they are evaluating it through the prism of skin color,” he contends. “It would give them a very difficult time of attempting to criticize Judge Janice Rogers Brown.”

According to The Sacramento Bee, several conservative lawyers are recommending Brown for the post.

Is it Nazi-like to be a nationalist?

Authored by Dr. Michael L. Brown – Guest Columnist | http://www.askdrbrown.org/ | Monday, November 12, 2018

URL of the original posting site: https://www.onenewsnow.com/perspectives/michael-brown/2018/11/12/is-it-nazi-like-to-be-a-nationalist

Michael BrownFrench President Macron argues that “nationalism” is a betrayal of patriotism. But when President Trump uses the term, he’s saying no to a potentially dangerous globalism and yes to policies that put American interests first.

Should “nationalism” be encouraged? Is it simply a matter of putting your own country’s interests first and of saying “no” to an unhealthy globalism? Or is it a path to xenophobia, following in the footsteps of the Nazis? Or, perhaps, is it simply a matter of perception, the word “nationalist” meaning one thing to one group and something entirely different to another group?

On October 22, at a rally in Houston, TX, President Trump said, “A globalist is a person that wants the globe to do well, frankly, not caring about our country so much. And you know what? We can’t have that.”

He continued, “You know, they have a word – it’s sort of became old-fashioned – it’s called a nationalist. And I say, really, we’re not supposed to use that word. You know what I am? I’m a nationalist, okay? I’m a nationalist. Nationalist. Nothing wrong. Use that word. Use that word.”

Not surprisingly, his comments created quite an uproar.

After all, there’s a reason the word is not widely used today in a positive sense. Being a “nationalist” is often associated with White Supremacist movements in America, with anti-immigrant xenophobia, with harsh attitudes against people of color. “People like you don’t belong in our nation!”

Not only so, but the term “Nazi” is simply short for “National” in German. The Nazis were the National-Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei in German). In fact, it was hyper-German nationalism that led to both World Wars, as this Wikipedia entry correctly notes:

“Aggressive German nationalism and territorial expansion was a key factor leading to both World Wars. Prior to World War I, Germany had established a colonial empire in hopes of rivaling Britain and France. In the 1930s, the Nazis came to power and sought to create a Greater Germanic Reich, emphasizing ethnic German identity and German greatness to the exclusion of all others, eventually leading to the extermination of Jews, Poles, Romani, and other people deemed Untermenschen (subhumans) in the Holocaust during World War II.”

Trump and MacronThis history was certainly in the mind of France’s Prime Minister Macron this week when he took issue publicly with the exaltation of nationalism (with Trump and Valdimir Putin clearly in view).

Speaking on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, he said, “Old demons are reawakening, ready to sow chaos and death. History sometimes threatens to repeat its tragic patterns, and undermine the legacy of peace we thought we had sealed with the blood of our ancestors.”

He added, “Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism: nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism. By pursuing our own interests first, with no regard to others’, we erase the very thing that a nation holds most precious, that which gives it life and makes it great: its moral values.”

What are we to make of this?

On the one hand, we could review the semantic history of the words “patriotism” and “nationalism,” but that would prove very little for at least two reasons.

First, people tend to think with their hearts, not with a dictionary.

Second, much depends on how a person uses the words in question. What, after all, was their intent?

When it comes to the perception of minorities in America, the word “nationalism” can have many negative connotations. The same holds true in Europe, where an unhealthy nationalism led directly to tens of millions of deaths.

On the other hand, even within Europe, countries like Hungary have pushed back against the increasing loss of national identity in light of Islamic encroachment. As Reuters reported in May, Hungarian Prime Minister “Viktor Orban said on Monday the main task of his new government will be to preserve Hungary’s security and Christian culture, sticking to his nationalist policy to keep out migrants and fend off what he calls foreign meddling.”

For this he has been widely criticized by many European leaders (not to mention liberal leaders worldwide). But are his policies that different than the European nations which have instituted burka bans? Or Chancellor Angela Merkel’s determination that immigrants must learn German to receive benefits? Or Switzerland’s ban on building on minarets, dating back to 2009?

In an op-ed piece on Fox News, Steve Hilton argued that Trump was right and Macron was wrong, writing that,

“Macron’s attack on President Trump was highly revealing. It lays bare the astonishing arrogance of the globalist ruling class who think it’s their moral duty to ignore democracy and instead run the world according to whatever makes life easier for the rootless and heartless global corporations that Macron and his gang of Davos elitists cravenly serve.”

And it is this mentality, quite obviously, which Trump is combating. He is saying no to a potentially dangerous globalism and yes to policies that put American interests first. In turn, a strong and healthy America brings strength and health to the entire world. And isn’t every national leader appointed by his or her people to put their own country’s best interests first?

It’s obvious that President Trump will not back down from the term “nationalist,” especially since he has come under criticism for using it. In fact, “nationalist” will now become a positive term for many of his supporters, just like “deplorables” became a term of honor, rather than shame, after Hillary Clinton’s infamous comment.

That means that the key thing will be to give the most positive definition possible, at the same time directly combatting xenophobia and racism. I would therefore propose this working definition for all who choose to use the term:

A nationalist is one who wants to see a strong and healthy America, to the benefit of every single citizen in our country, from every race and ethnicity. This, in turn, will contribute to a more stable, prosperous world.

GA Teaching Aide Calls for ‘Dismantling’ the Church, Says It Makes ‘Crappy White People’

Reported By Malachi Bailey | November 9, 2018 at 4:04pm

A teaching assistant at the University of Georgia made absurdly racist Facebook posts targeted toward white people and suggested dismantling “churches, schools, and families.” There is always a degree of left-wing lunacy that you can expect from America’s colleges, but professors and students seem to be getting crazier by the day.

Irami Osei-Frimpong, a Ph.D. student and teaching assistant at the University of Georgia, made several racist Facebook posts explicitly attacking Christians and white people, Campus Reform reported. In a public post, Osei-Frimpong suggested an idea to deal with “crappy” white people who push “voter suppression” and “voter ID laws.”

“We can talk about voter suppression. We can talk about ID laws,” Osei-Frimpong wrote. “But all of this begins and ends with the fact that we make crappy White people.” He went on to suggest “dismantling” churches, schools and families.

“So if we are serious, we have to dismantle the institutions that make crappy white people: their churches, their schools, their families.”

I’m not sure how Osei-Frimpong wants to “dismantle” families and churches, but I doubt it’s through peaceful means.

In another public Facebook post, the left-wing radical suggested putting an end to “respectability” and going “to war on the White electorate.”

“Democrats need to go to war on the White electorate,” Osei-Frimpong wrote. “Acknowledge that we are going to lose elections for at least the next few years, as we campaign to change the conventional wisdom of the electorate.”

“Respectability Democrats, Black and White, are worthless,” he added.

Osei-Frimpong is exactly the type of left-wing radical that conservative students on college campuses have to engage with every day. These left-wing radicals, who are often filled with hatred toward white people and Christians, are the ones who accuse others of “racism” and “fascism.”

Osei-Frimpong previously made comments in August about his white students, calling them “sociopaths” and comparing them to “autistic kids.”

“There is a way in which White people in the South learn manners as a series of behaviors the way autistic kids learn to read social cues for behaviors,” he said. “Except since these guys and gals aren’t autistic, I just feel like I’m around a bunch of sociopaths.”

For some reason, this man is still at the University of Georgia.

This goes beyond a liberal bias. This shows that the University of Georgia allows blatant racism from their teaching assistants.

12 Times Florida County’s Elections Supervisor Has Been ‘Incompetent and Possibly Criminal’

Three close midtern election races for governor, senator, and agriculture commissioner are expected to be recounted in Florida. (Photo by Joe Skipper / Getty Images)

As both parties scrutinize the vote count in Florida’s Broward County, with the state’s gubernatorial and senatorial races closing in on a tie, Sen. Marco Rubio said the county’s elections office has a history of malfeasance.

“This is at a minimum a pattern of incompetence. Voters deserve better,” the Florida Republican said Thursday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“This is not even a partisan thing. This is a county that apparently cannot even count votes as well as a county that just got wiped out by a hurricane.”

The state’s Republican Gov. Rick Scott filed a lawsuit Thursday against Broward election supervisor Brenda Snipes for allegedly refusing to tell them about votes she has not yet counted. The vote totals Snipes tabulated two days after the election would have readers believe that more people cast votes for agricultural commissioner than for U.S. Senator.

Additionally, lawyer Marc Elias of Perkins Coie — who hired Fusion GPS for the Democratic National Committee to investigate Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election — has been hired to litigate a recount on behalf of Democrats.

The Republican National Committee also pointed out 12 times news stories using its own headlines where Snipes has “been outright incompetent and possibly criminal”:

1 — Illegally destroying ballots (Sun Sentinel, May 14, 2018)

2 — Absentee ballots that never arrived (Miami Herald, November 6, 2018)

3 — Fellow Democrats accused her precinct of individual and systemic breakdowns that made it difficult for voters to cast regular ballots (Miami Herald, November 4, 2014)

4 — Posted election results half an hour before polls closed – a very clear violation of election law. (Miami Herald, November 2, 2018)

5 — Sued for leaving amendments off of ballots (Miami Herald, October 20, 2016)

6 — Claiming to not have the money to notify voters when their absentee ballot expired (Sun Sentinel, November 8, 2018)

7 — Having official staffers campaign on official time (Broward Beat, July 20, 2016)

8 — Problems printing mail ballots (Miami Herald, November 2, 2018)

9 — Accusations of ballot stuffing (Heritage, August 1, 2017)

10 — Voters receiving ballots with duplicate pages (Miami Herald, November 2, 2018)

11 — Slow results and piles of ballots that cropped up way after Election Day (The Capitolist, November 8, 2018)

12 — Opening ballots in private, breaking Florida law (Politico, August 13, 2018)

24 Hours After Replacing Sessions, Whitaker Ends Asylum for Illegals at Southern Border

Reported By Cillian Zeal | November 9, 2018 at 8:33am

Image result for Matthew Whitaker

Matthew Whitaker

Matthew Whitaker’s tenure as acting attorney general may only be able to be measured in hours, but he’s already made a huge impact in how asylum-seekers are processed at the southern border. According to a new interim final rule from the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, those who enter the country illegally and are captured will no longer be able to claim asylum and will instead be returned to their country of origin on an expedited basis.

“Consistent with our immigration laws, the President has the broad authority to suspend or restrict the entry of aliens into the United States if he determines it to be in the national interest to do so,” Whitaker said in a joint statement with DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

“Today’s rule applies this important principle to aliens who violate such a suspension or restriction regarding the southern border imposed by the President by invoking an express authority provided by Congress to restrict eligibility for asylum.

“Our asylum system is overwhelmed with too many meritless asylum claims from aliens who place a tremendous burden on our resources, preventing us from being able to expeditiously grant asylum to those who truly deserve it. Today, we are using the authority granted to us by Congress to bar aliens who violate a Presidential suspension of entry or other restriction from asylum eligibility.”

Translating that out of federalese, this is basically saying that those who cross into America illegally and then are captured cannot claim asylum as pursuant to the Immigration and Nationality Act — the same act that the president used to craft the travel ban, which was ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court.

That law holds that “(w)henever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

The only way to gain political asylum, therefore, is to present oneself at a port of entry to the United States.

The New York Times crystalized the arguments for and against the move in their article on the new rule.

“Lawyers for immigration advocacy organizations said they violated a founding principle of federal asylum: to judge each person’s asylum claim on its own merits. And the lawyers said federal and international law made it clear that the United States must provide immigrants the opportunity to claim asylum regardless of whether they entered the country legally or illegally,” the Thursday article read.

“Trump administration officials defended the new approach, saying the president is responding to statistics that show that most migrants who seek asylum are eventually denied — but not before many of them skip their court hearings and choose to illegally stay in the United States.”

That last part is generally true. Few asylum seekers are able to establish a credible fear based on political persecution in their home country, which is why their application is typically denied. If they do have a realistic claim, presenting themselves at a port of entry is the proper way of doing things.

As for the legality of that, Bill Hing, general counsel at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, told Newsweek that, “U.S. and international law does not specify that you have to go to a certain port.”

Whether or not this stands is going to be a matter of considerable debate. Whether it specifies you have to go to a certain port or not, under American law, seems again like it would be subject to the Immigration and Nationality Act — although that will certainly be a matter for the courts.

As for international law, that and $35 will usually get you an oil change. While there are obviously certain international legal norms everyone is expected to follow, the unsecured southern border represents an especial challenge to the United States. The abuse of the asylum process by individuals who have chosen to brake the law to get into the country in the first place, thus placing a strain on a system that already struggles to deal with legitimate asylum claims, should be an overriding concern in this case.

The Trump administration has also said those illegally in the country could apply for two other smaller programs as opposed to asylum, which would technically satisfy our treaty obligations. Whether treaty signatories buy this, and whether it ends up meaning anything, again remains to be seen.

No matter how this shakes out, it’s a sign that Whitaker is putting his stamp on the office posthaste — even if one gets the idea that President Trump had more than a little to do with the formulation of this policy. Say what you will about that, but Sessions certainly wasn’t willing to take this step.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “WHIPPED”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

URL of the original posting site: http://humanevents.com/2018/11/08/pssy-hats-whipped/

That’s all you got?

Two years of non-stop campaigning, denouncing and doxing — and all the Resistance has to show for it is a House majority smaller than the one Republicans currently have and a net loss of three Senate seats? (Thank you, Justice Brett Kavanaugh!)

Democratic leaders may try saying, “THIS IS JUST WHAT WE WANTED! We wanted to be down by three Senate seats.” But I think their voters are saying, We were hoping for more of a rebuke.

The media exhausted itself on this election! Can they go back to that level of hysteria today?

President Clinton lost 54 House seats and eight Senate seats in his first midterm, as voters responded to Hillary’s attempt to socialize health care. President Obama lost 63 House seats and six Senate seats in his first midterm, as voters responded to the Democrats’ successful party-line vote to socialize health care.

America’s response to Trump’s first two years? Republicans lost fewer than 40 House seats and gained Senate seats. (Again: Thank you, Justice Kavanaugh.) And that was with more than 40 House Republicans being spooked into retiring rather than go down to certain defeat in what the media convinced them would be a big blue wave.

It’s always a bad idea to give Democrats control of any part of government. You don’t want those guys running a lemonade stand.

But — wow — are there silver linings!

First, all the worst Republican House members were defeated, such as cheap labor advocate Kevin Yoder of Kansas and Florida’s Rep. Carlos Curbelo, a second-generation immigrant who goes around calling his fellow Republicans white supremacists. (Alleged white supremacist Steve King won and Curbelo lost — hahahahaha!)

As the movie character Ninotchka said of Stalin’s reign of terror: “The last mass trials were a great success! There are going to be fewer but better Russians.”

Second, the main accomplishment of the Resistance in the first midterm was to help Trump win his re-election bid.

Even voters skeptical about Trump will embrace him after two minutes, let alone two years, of watching Speaker Nancy Pelosi run the House, Rep. Maxine Waters chair the House Financial Services Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler head the Judiciary Committee — and Rep. Adam Schiff run around issuing subpoenas all over town.

How about Rep. Alcee Hastings, an impeached and convicted bribe-taker? His seniority surely requires giving him a committee chairmanship! Is Pelosi going to discriminate against Hastings just because he’s a proud black man? Right now, Pelosi is trying to determine which committee chairmanship requires no honesty whatsoever.

If you were hoping the Democrats would seize this opportunity to make utter fools of themselves — impeachment hearings, resurrecting the Kavanaugh gang rape claims, and Russia, Russia, Russia — I’ve got good news! That’s exactly what their base is demanding. I promise you, Maxine Waters is not going to say, “Don’t worry, guys. I’ll be keeping a very low profile.”

Voters will be pleading, Couldn’t we get an infrastructure bill? Will you please do something about all these criminal aliens in my sanctuary city? And the Democrats will be carrying on about Trump’s taxes.

The Senate math was on Republicans’ side, but countering that were several GOP retirements. Republicans not only held the Senate with a bigger margin … but now with no Jeff Flake, John McCain or Bob Corker!

The only GOP senator to lose his re-election was Dean Heller of Nevada. That makes him the fourth Republican who supported Marco Rubio’s 2013 amnesty bill to lose his seat. Inasmuch as about 85 percent of incumbent senators win re-election, at least for the past quarter-century, this is quite an accomplishment!

Mercifully, of the 14 GOP traitors who voted for Rubio’s amnesty, only six remain in office. Four were beaten, three retired one step ahead of the guillotine and one took the easy way out by dying.

Which raises the question: What exactly was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s plan for victory? Hope a Supreme Court justice retired and that the Democrats would make vicious and false claims against our nominee?

The Republicans’ stunning Senate victories resulted from nothing they did. These are the guys who ran like little girls from Trump’s campaign promises on immigration. Republicans didn’t even bother forcing Democrats to cast wildly unpopular votes on the wall, sanctuary cities or anchor babies. In fact, Republicans did very little of interest to any voters.

The one and only reason Republicans picked up Senate seats in a midterm election is the utter derangement of the Resistance, which — by complete happenstance — was recently put on display when Democrats got the bright idea to falsely accuse a sweet nerd like Brett Kavanaugh of gang rape.

As Trump is accused of the foulest treason over the next two years, he might want to remember Kavanaugh.

You think having MSNBC gloat over your tax returns and Robert Mueller accusing you of collusion with Russia is outrageous? I imagine it was also unpleasant to be accused from every media outlet of gang rape. But Justice Kavanaugh and his family soldiered on, winning the nomination — and winning three Senate seats for the GOP.

Just remember, Mr. President, every time Adam Schiff appears on TV, the RNC should be sending a receipt to the Democrats.

Voters sending reliable conservatives to D.C.

Wednesday, November 7, 2018  | Reported by Billy Davis (OneNewsNow.com)

Josh Hawley victory picRepublicans added reliable conservatives in the U.S. Senate and picked up several Freedom Caucus members in the House according to a post-election analysis by a conservative activist.

Ken Cuccinelli, the former Virginia attorney general, shared his views Wednesday morning with the “Sandy Rios in the Morning” show on American Family Radio, where he said conservatives should be pleased with the midterm results because conservative views will be well-represented when those winners take office next year.

“Both Republican caucuses, House and Senate, got notably more conservative last night,” he told talk show host Sandy Rios.

One example he gave is the Tennessee race for U.S. Senate, where Rep. Marsha Blackburn defeated Phil Bredesen to keep that seat in GOP control. But her win also moves the seat more to the right, he said, because she replaces Bob Corker.

“The sanctimony level of the U.S. Senate,” he observed, “with the departure of [Jeff] Flake and Bob Corker, and the passing of John McCain in 2018, the sanctimony level is dropping precipitously.”

Blackburn is likely the most conservative female lawmaker to ever be elected to the U.S. Senate, he told the program.

Cuccinelli oversees the Senate Conservatives Fund, a PAC that supports tea party conservatives, and he is openly no fan of the GOP-led Senate under Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. In fact, Cuccinelli told Rios it’s likely that McConnell will fail to push back against the Democrat-led House next year.

“Mitch McConnell is a natural surrenderer,” he complained, “and we will see that reassert itself as the Democrats come into the House.”

If McConnell proves Cuccinelli and other critics wrong, he added, it would represent a “monumental shift” among unreliable GOP leaders John Cornyn, John Thune, and Roy Blunt in the Senate.

Trump and Mitch McConnellThat is why fresh Senate faces, such as Missouri’s Josh Hawley and Indiana’s Mike Braun, are important for conservatives who want the Senate to fight, he said.

Asked by Rios about the U.S. House, which flipped to Democrat control on election night, Cuccinelli said the House Freedom Caucus picked up enough freshman members on Election Day to increase its influence to approximately one-fifth of Republicans. That influence will prove important, he said, when the push comes for Rep. Jim Jordan to be Minority Leader.

A change in GOP leadership is vital, Cuccinelli said, because the current GOP leadership is largely to blame for the loss of GOP seats.

“They did nothing in the House except for the tax bill,” he said of Rep. Paul Ryan, the outgoing Speaker of the House, and his lieutenants.

Ted Cruz Fires Epic Counterpunch After Jim Carrey’s Latest Haunting Cartoon Hits His Desk

Liberal Hollywood actor Jim Carrey was once beloved by audiences across America for his amazing acting ability in roles that ranged from rather serious to absurdly stupid — but incredibly hilarious — in his many popular movies over the years.

Sadly, Carrey succumbed to “Trump Derangement Syndrome” in 2016 and simply hasn’t been the same, trading in his spot in front of a camera for one in front of a canvas as he works out his inner demons through the process of painting what could be described by some as “artwork,” typically of the anti-Trump, anti-Republican variety.

The Daily Caller reported on the latest piece of “art” showcased by Carrey on social media, but it was the response he received from the featured subject of his piece — Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who is being challenged in the election by Democrat Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke — that truly garnered the attention.

Carrey tweeted, “Go Beto! Go Democrats! Vote like there’s no tomorrow. Let’s make this Tuesday like the end of every great vampire movie. Pull back the curtains and let the sunshine turn all those bloodsuckers to dust.”

Naturally, Carrey’s painting portrayed Cruz as a vampire that was shrinking away and shrieking in pain as he burst into flames and disintegrated while O’Rourke pulled back a curtain to bathe his opponent in sunlight.

The likening of Cruz to a vampire was possibly inspired by the admittedly funny comparisons of Cruz with the vampiric Grandpa Munster from the 1960s sitcom “The Munsters,” not to mention the leftist belief that Republicans are blood-sucking monsters who hate the living, especially women and children, or something.

For all of the criticisms that Cruz has received — both fairly and unfairly — few could say with a straight face that he doesn’t have a great sense of self-deprecating humor or that he is incapable of suffering and replying to harsh insults exceedingly well.

Cruz linked to Carrey’s tweet mocking him as a vampire, and wrote, “Hollywood liberals all in for Beto. But (self-described socialist) Jim Carrey made a mistake here: Vampires are dead, and everyone knows the dead vote Democrat….”

And then utter hilarity ensued and was enjoyed by all in the comment section of that tweet, as everyone understood the joke about Democrats using the fraudulent votes of dead people to win close elections. Just kidding … Cruz was ruthlessly mocked and excoriated by humorless liberals who failed to see the point or get the joke of his post.

Unfortunately for Carrey and his Cruz-hating fellow liberals, it is highly unlikely that Cruz will burst into flames and disintegrate when the curtains of the voting booths are opened after Election Day and the ultimate outcome of his race against O’Rourke is revealed.

The RealClearPolitics average of polls in the Texas Senate race show that Cruz holds a fairly comfortable 6-point lead over his challenger, with the four most recent polls in October giving Cruz a lead that ranged from as little as 3 points to as much as 10 points.

In all likelihood, given the manner in which pollsters have historically and routinely oversampled Democrats and independents and undersampled Republicans, Cruz could very well hold a more significant lead over O’Rourke than has been announced by the pollsters.

However, every conservative and Republican and right-leaning independent needs to get out and vote for Cruz on Tuesday to help drive a stake through the heart of the monstrous undead Marxist philosophy that continues to drive the Democratic Party increasingly leftward these days, lest they be allowed to suck out the lifeblood of our nation and economy by gaining control of Congress.

Former Seal Drops the MOAB on Don Lemon, Reveals the Real ‘Enemy of the People’

Reported By Ben Marquis | November 6, 2018 at 9:08am

Last week, CNN anchor Don Lemon issued what can best be described as arguably one of the most hypocritical, nonsensical, contradictory and racist statements of all time … and not by just a little bit, either. Speaking with fellow CNN anchor Chris Cuomo about their mutual nemesis — President Donald Trump and his legions of supporters — Lemon said, “So we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”

That statement is contradictory and hypocritical because Lemon literally demonized “white men” after he had just called on everyone to “stop demonizing people.” And it was thoroughly racist in that it deemed a certain segment of society the “biggest terror threat” to our nation simply because of its gender and skin color.

Lemon received quite a bit of pushback for that remark, but none was quite as exquisite as that offered up by a former U.S. Navy SEAL combat veteran and author named Ephraim Mattos.

In a Facebook post, Mattos dropped an absolute MOAB of truth on the CNN host, who was quite literally living up to the disparaging “enemy of the people” moniker that has been hoisted on the “fake news” media by President Trump … a moniker few in the media have adequately been able to shake loose, as it suits quite a few of them rather well by virtue of their own actions and words.

Mattos wrote on Facebook, “After surviving three wars, a gunshot wound, a near fatal drowning, a failed parachute, Taliban ambushes, ISIS snipers, mortars, mine-fields, suicide bombers and laying down my life for the cause of freedom while fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with my brother Arabs, Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Animists, and Atheists I have now returned home to the USA where a CNN host has labeled me as a radicalized right wing terrorist simply because of my gender and the color of my skin.”

The veteran proceeded to describe how “conservative white men” had fought and died for freedom for centuries on behalf of others, taking on the elite British Army to found the Republic, taking on fellow Americans in order to free blacks held in slavery, rescuing Europe from utter disaster — and later, fascism — in World War I and again in World War II.

“We have fought for freedom and liberty for generations and we continue to do so today alongside all of our brothers and sisters regardless of their race or religion,” wrote Mattos, before offering up something for voters to consider prior to Election Day.

“In the early 1930s, Hitler said the same thing about the Jews that Don Lemon of CNN just said about white men. This is the true face of the Democratic Party. First they enslaved and killed blacks, and now they use them to spew hatred and lies against the very people who have fought for generations to free them and uplift them,” he wrote.

Mattos continued and made an incredible point that will no doubt be lost on Lemon and others like him: “I have referred to myself as a ‘white male’ in the previous sentences multiple times, but I must make it clear that I identify as simply ‘American,’ not as ‘white’ or ‘male’ or ‘Republican.’

“Although blatantly racist and hateful, do not let Don Lemon’s ignorant words drive you into viewing yourself only by your race and religion,” he added. “Identity politics does not lead to freedom. It only leads to hatred and division and an ‘us vs. them’ mentality.

“If CNN does not fire Don Lemon immediately, it only goes to show that they are truly the ‘enemy of the people,’” Mattos concluded.

The post got noticed on social media.

CNN has taken no disciplinary action against Lemon, so the phrase remains quite apt and fitting of the network and its bigoted and racist hosts. The liberal media has made it abundantly clear that they don’t like or appreciate being labeled an “enemy of the people” by the president or his supporters, and their pushback against the implications of the term is entirely understandable, as it casts them in exceptionally poor light.

Unfortunately for them, far too often they say and do things that an honest-to-goodness “enemy of the people” would say and do, such as labeling whole swaths of the nation as “racist” or a “terror threat” simply because of skin color and genitalia, and not for any specific deeds or words that would earn such derisive labels.

Here is a reminder for the media, once again:

If you don’t want to be labeled as an “enemy of the people,” it would well-advised for you to stop acting like an “enemy of the people,” lest you prove the label correct … as Don Lemon has so sickeningly done.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE COMPLETE FACEBOOK POSTING OF EPHRAIM MATTOS:

Well, it has officially happened…

“So we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.” — Don Lemon on CNN (October 31, 2018)

After surviving three wars, a gunshot wound, a near fatal drowning, a failed parachute, Taliban ambushes, ISIS snipers, mortars, mine-fields, suicide bombers and laying down my life for the cause of freedom while fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with my brother Arabs, Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Animists, and Atheists I have now returned home to the USA where a CNN host has labeled me as a radicalized right wing terrosist simply because of my gender and the color of my skin.

I represent just one of the hundreds of thousands of conservative white men who have fought to preserve freedom in this great Nation and in other nations. My forefathers are the 3% who founded this Republic against the might of the British Army. It was white Conservative men who died by the tens of thousands after charging into our southern states to free our black brothers from the slavery imposed on them by the Liberal left. We were the ones who acknowledged that women have a right to vote. We held the line in WWI and charged the beaches of Normandy in WWII. We have fought for freedom and liberty for generations and we continue to do so today alongside all of our brothers and sisters regardless of their race or religion.

In the early 1930s, Hitler said the same thing about the Jews that Don Lemon of CNN just said about white men. This is the true face of the Democratic Party. First they enslaved and killed blacks, and now they use them to spew hatred and lies against the very people who have fought for generations to free them and uplift them.

Remember that when you go to vote.

One final thought: To make a point, I have referred to myself as a “white male” in the previous sentences multiple times, but I must make it clear that I identify as simply “American,” not as “white” or “male” or “Republican.”

Although blatantly racist and hateful, do not let Don Lemon’s ignorant words drive you into viewing yourself only by your race and religion. Identity politics does not lead to freedom. It only leads to hatred and division and an “us vs. them” mentality.

If CNN does not fire Don Lemon immediately, it only goes to show that they are truly the “enemy of the people.”

GA Sec. of State Office Accuses Dem Party of Trying To Hack Voter System 2 Days Before Election

Reported By Bryan Chai | November 5, 2018 at 11:17am

One of the tightest races for governor in this week’s midterm elections just took another twist, as accusations of hacking voter systems have surfaced in Georgia. But this time, it’s not the Russians or a WikiLeaks operative being accused of hacking the voter system. Much to the chagrin of Democrats, this time it’s the party most likely to whine about voter hacking that has been accused of that very same thing.

According to WSB-TV, the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office is investigating a failed attempt to hack the state’s voter registration system. And just to clear any confusion or hoax narratives, the office is pointing its finger directly at Democrats.

“While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber crimes,” said Candice Broce, press secretary for the secretary of state’s office, in a statement on Sunday.

However, as with most things Democrats have attempted to do in recent years, the clandestine hacking seems to have failed spectacularly.

“We can also confirm that no personal data was breached and our system remains secure,” Broce added.

Complicating the story even more is that Georgia’s current secretary of state, the man in charge of investigating the Democratic Party, is Brian Kemp, the Republican candidate for governor. Kemp’s office issued a statement explaining the investigation, according to WSB-TV.

“We opened an investigation into the Democratic Party of Georgia after receiving information from our legal team about failed efforts to breach the online voter registration system and My Voter Page. We are working with our private sector vendors and investigators to review data logs. We have contacted our federal partners and formally requested the Federal Bureau of Investigation to investigate these possible cyber crimes. The Secretary of State’s office will release more information as it becomes available.”

To the surprise of nobody, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (yes, the same one supported by Oprah Winfrey) has denied any involvement in the alleged hacking.

Just as unsurprising, Abrams tried to deflect blame for her party’s alleged misconduct and instead attacked Republicans.

“(Republican governor candidate Brian Kemp) is trying to rile up his base by misleading voters yet again,” Abrams said. “This is also someone who has a strong habit of having hackable systems. And the problem is, Democrats did nothing wrong. What is happening is that he, once again, is overseeing a vulnerable system and is blaming someone for his mistakes.”

Kemp, who has even been accused of being a “racist” for wanting voters to have identification, fired back through his communications director with a blistering statement of his own.

“The Democratic Party of Georgia will stop at nothing to regain relevance and power in our state,” said the statement said. “They lied about Georgia’s ‘pending’ voter list, made up stories about missing absentee ballot requests, and spread misinformation about our state’s voting machines. Every time, their ridiculous claims were undermined by the truth.”

You know what would undermine the Democrats even more? Republicans getting out and voting on Tuesday. That would work in Georgia, and it needs to work everywhere else in America, too.

Woman Faints During MAGA Rally And The Crowd’s Response Will Make You Scream Like A Bald Eagle(Video)

Reported By Wes Walker |

You would ONLY see something like this at a Republican rally. After all — the other party BOOED the mention of God at their convention a few years ago. As sometimes happens when any large crowd gathers, one lady in the audience gathered in Missouri fainted, and required medical attention.

How Trump handled it would leave his critics gobsmacked.

Trump took the stage and was halfway through his boilerplate stump when a woman fainted. The arena was very hot and very crowded and fainting is a relatively commonplace occurrence at large political rallies like this one.

Trump asked “Is there a doctor in the house?” and upon seeing that the woman was being attended to said “Take your time. Take your time. We have plenty of time, right? Don’t rush. That is one of our great people.”
Source: DailyCaller

Not only did he respectfully stop and wait for the seven minutes it took for medical staff to give her the help she needed, but he encouraged the crowd to pray for the woman, too.

When they seemed to indicate that she’d be ok, a cheer erupted from the crowd.

The crowd applauded and cheered as emergency medical staff rushed to the fainted woman. President Trump stepped away from the mic and looked on somberly for minutes on end. The crowd stood silently. “Say a little prayer. That is good. Say a little prayer,” Trump said to the audience. A minute later a spontaneous rendition of the classic hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ began to ring out.

The hymn echoed throughout the arena as the woman was carried out of the hall.

President Trump then turned to the audience, “I want to just thank everybody. That was beautiful. At the end was beautiful. ‘Amazing Grace.’ That was beautiful. Hopefully, she will be ok.

THE MANY FACES OF JEW-HATRED

Authored By Ruth Wisse | November 4, 2018

Anti-Semitism is a politics of misdirected blame. Today its most frequent target is the state of Israel.

URL of the original posting site: https://beartotheright.com/2018/11/04/jew-hatred/

In the wake of the shooting in Pittsburgh, a volley of voices called for more of this or that—armed guards or gun control, barring the doors of synagogues, policing of fringe web platforms or resources for mental health. While President Trump denounced the shooting as “an evil anti-Semitic attack” and visited the grieving community, a sector of the media blamed the president for the incident, as it does for everything else. It was politics as usual.

But instead of prompting a serious inquiry into the ideology that fuels the murder of Jews, the atrocity seems to be reinforcing a misconception that can only worsen the problem. Anti-Semitism is not synonymous with Hitlerism—the only form of anti-Semitism that has gone down in military defeat. Anti-Semitism is a politics of misdirected blame, and Americans must be sure to avoid its trap.

The shooter is being cast as a neo-Nazi threat. Under the caption “A Day of Broken Glass,” a cartoon in the Pittsburgh Current shows broken windows on the Tree of Life synagogue, linking this attack to Germany’s Kristallnacht of Nov. 9, 1938, which signaled Nazism’s open season on the Jews of Europe. Israel’s Education Minister Naftali Bennett made the same association in conveying Israel’s sympathy to the Pittsburgh community.

What could be worse than the specter of Nazism here in America? In fact, it is politically comforting to cast Robert Bowers in this light. Unlike in Germany, where the attacks on Jews were launched by the Führer, our head of government ordered the full press of law enforcement to prosecute the sole gunman. Unlike in Germany, where the SS directed and fomented the attacks on Jews, here four policemen were shot trying to save the Jews. Moreover, the American people are united in horror at this atrocity. If Mr. Bowers represents anti-Semitism, the response to his attack tells us we have relatively little to fear.

Mr. Bowers’s shooting—complete with his scream that “all Jews must die”—conveniently fits the stereotype of “evil” that Americans and the Jews among them constructed in the wake of the Holocaust. It seems to ratify our fantasy of the enemy as Darth Vader—blackhearted, ostentatiously murderous and cruel.

The country that lost more than 400,000 servicemen fighting Hitler is not likely to support attacks on synagogues full of Jews. But anti-Jewish politics in America is now bolder than in the 1930s. Never coterminous with Nazism, anti-Semitism becomes truly dangerous to a society only when espoused by its leaders and politicians. Today, the political forces of anti-Semitism most often target Jews through their state.

It was eerie to hear the prime minister of Israel and members of its government, who routinely respond to Pittsburgh-like attacks on Israeli citizens, consoling American Jews for their losses. Jews in Israel are threatened daily by Hamas and Hezbollah on two of their borders and by Palestinian Arabs taught and paid to do so by their leaders and coreligionists. Stabbing, blowing up or throwing rocks at Jews is the sport of youngsters raised to hate Jews, and destroying Jewish property with burning projectiles was this summer’s chief entertainment of boys in Gaza—from which Israel extracted every last Jew in 2005.

This Jew-hatred dates from the year Germany surrendered in World War II when anti-Semitism became the dominant ideology of the Arab and Muslim Middle East. Just as Europeans organized politics against the Jewish “usurper” among them, the Arab League sought to expel the Jewish people—their fellow Semites. And just as European anti-Semitism united left and right, revolutionaries and traditionalists, internationalists and nationalists, populists and elites, so too anti-Zionism unified otherwise adversarial Arab and Muslim countries.

Assailing Israel deflected blame for domestic flaws in Arab societies. It still does. It redirects grievances against the Jews, inspiring national and religious fervor through opposition to a common enemy. The Jews, a small minority whose power is hugely inflated, are a perennial target, though they have no incentive for counteraggression and every reason to seek acceptance in their usual position among much larger surrounding nations. The typical reaction of the Jews of Pittsburgh was not to call for the death penalty but to reveal that Jewish doctors had treated the shooter. The Jews of Israel imprison but do not execute those who slaughter their women and children. Mr. Bowers has rightly been called a coward for attacking the innocent; so are those who attack Israel.

The most discouraging feature of the anti-Israel brand of anti-Semitism is its penetration of Western societies, including the U.S. That a single shooter wants to kill the Jews is less dangerous to this country than Louis Farrakhan’s smiling designation of Jews as “termites,” broadcast to a vast audience, or the vicious movement to boycott Israel—an extension of the Arab boycott launched in 1945. The incursion of fanatical anti-Israel politics into the American campus and the Democratic Party is a threat not to the Jews alone but to what they represent in a liberal democracy.

Even as we try to comfort the mourners and suggest better security measures, we must stop the scourge before a full-fledged anti-Semitic politics emerges in America under the unifying banner of “intersectionality.” Anti-Semitism is the only ideology that can unite the far left and far right. Its success would signify America’s failure.

Body Language Expert Analyzes Obama Speech, & The Results Are Hair-Raising (Watch)

Barack Obama was always credited as a good orator. He always appeared calm and cool under pressure, even when appearing to lie through his teeth – as is the case with most politicians at any given time. However, a body language expert has analyzed Obama. The results are stunning.

In short, Obama is coming off as desperate.

“This is not the same Obama I’m seeing. His head goes down a lot more in that downward position. It’s like a defeatist position. He’s no longer that confident, head held high, arrogant mentality… This is desperation.”

WATCH:

Obama lied to the American people about the strength of radical Islam while burying 470,000 documents related to the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound.

Why?

In order to win re-election in 2012.

From Western Journal:

In a detailed exposé in The Weekly Standard, journalist and author Stephen F. Hayes showed that Obama buried a staggering number of documents from Osama bin Laden’s compound, and essentially lied to the American people about the real status of Al Qaeda in order to win votes.

[…]

A key piece of Obama’s re-election was the elimination of bin Laden and the claim that the administration had Al Qaeda on the run. Afghanistan was won, the incumbent president boasted, and Islamic terrorism was waning. The path forward was to lift sanctions on Iran and move forward.

There was one big problem: The administration knew it wasn’t true, but repeated it anyway.

“The self-proclaimed ‘most transparent administration in history’ had spent more than five years [by 2016] misleading the American people about the threat from al Qaeda and its offshoots and had paid very little price for having done so,” Hayes explained.

Armed with Assault Rifles, Black Panthers March for Stacey Abrams

Reported By Jason Hopkins | November 4, 2018 at 10:11am

Members of the Black Panther Party marched through the city of Atlanta, strapped with assault rifles and brandishing Stacey Abrams campaign signs. In a video posted on the group’s Facebook page on Saturday, members of the Black Panther Party are seen marching through the West End neighborhood of Atlanta in support of Stacey Abrams gubernatorial campaign. As they marched, the Black Panthers carried assault rifles and continually shouted slogans such as “black power” and “power to the people.”

The video shows the panthers marching for nearly 30 minutes through the city of Atlanta until they enter a local radio station.

When reached for comment by The Daily Caller News Foundation, the Abrams campaign forwarded a statement from spokeswoman Abigail Collazo. Her statement did not specifically address the Panthers’ march, but instead attacked Kemp.

“Brian Kemp is the only candidate in this race who has posed for pictures with supporters wearing racist, hate-filled t-shirts and refused to denounce them, while Abrams continues to condemn any racist, anti-Semitic, or otherwise discriminatory words and actions,” Collazo said.

“Unlike Kemp, Abrams is a leader committed to running an inclusive campaign focused on bringing all Georgians together to find bold solutions on critical issues like health care, education, and the economy,” she continued.

At one point during the march, someone driving a vehicle stopped momentarily to speak to the Panthers.

One of the members can be heard saying afterward: “You need to march in your neighborhood. When we was (sic) in West Virginia, 99 percent crackers, stone cold crackers.”

Kemp’s campaign called on Abrams to immediately denounce the Black Panthers.

“It’s no surprise that militant Black Panthers are armed and patrolling the streets of Georgia for Stacey Abrams. The Black Panthers are a radical hate group with a racist and anti-semitic agenda. They are dangerous and encourage violence against our men and women in uniform,” Kemp spokesman Ryan Mahoney said in a statement to TheDCNF.

“Stacey Abrams should immediately denounce the Black Panthers and their hateful record of racism,” he continued. “She should stand against and condemn their attempts to intimidate hardworking Georgia voters just days before the election.”

The close race has brought star power from both sides of the aisle. Vice President Mike Pence campaigned for Kemp on Thursday — the same day Oprah Winfrey knocked on doors on behalf of Abrams.

The Panthers did not respond to a request for comment by TheDCNF.

Sarah Sanders Is Asked How Christians Can Support Trump, Gives Best Answer We’ve Ever Heard

Reported By Bryan Chai | November 5, 2018 at 10:10am

Far-left Democrats have made their general disdain for Christianity very well known. It’s no secret to anyone who has even remotely kept up with their narrative in recent years. Despite that, leftists like to bring up Christianity as some sort of barometer when criticizing conservatives — and especially when criticizing anyone who supports President Donald Trump.

To the surprise of nobody, many liberals and Democrats only seems to applaud the merits of Christianity when the faith can be used to attack conservatives and Republicans. In fairness, that line of liberal thinking has certainly befuddled some Christians. Do devout Christians sometimes struggle with supporting an organization or person who can at times do or say un-Christian things?

While that can certainly be hard for some to answer, it was no problem for White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. In fact, it may be the best response I’ve ever heard. In a recently published interview with the New Yorker, Sanders perfectly responded to any and all critics who claim Christians can’t work in or support the Trump administration.

“Frankly, if people of faith don’t get involved in the dirty process, then you’re missing the entire point of what we’re called to do,” Sanders said.

Honestly, had Sanders simply stopped right there, it would have been a simply great answer. Of course, she elaborated on the issue to further cement her point.

The New Yorker cited Trump’s alleged sexual encounter with a porn star as one of the reasons why many outsiders condemned Christians who hold high positions in the Trump administration. Sanders again had the perfect response

“I’m not going to my office expecting it to be my church,” she said. Again, this is a very valid point. For many Americans and Christians, work is a wholly separate place from church.

Even if work involves unsavory accusations, Sanders is 100 percent correct to say that believing in Christianity means she should be wanting to go into work to spread the good word.

“You’re not called to go into the places where everyone already thinks like you and is a believer — you have to go onto a stage where they’re not,” Sanders said.

Sanders did clarify that she was not speaking directly about the White House, but rather her mission as a Christian in general.

“You have to take that message into the darkest places, and the dirtiest places, and the most tainted and dysfunctional places. If you can influence even one person, that’s what you’re supposed to do,” she added.

When the New Yorker writer Paige Williams pointed out that she thought Trump specifically needed the most help, Sanders didn’t miss a beat.

“We all need help,” Sanders responded. “That’s the whole basis of Christianity. No one is perfect. We are all sinners.”

That, in particular, seems to be the biggest point the media is missing. Nobody is perfect, and Sanders clearly realizes that. The mainstream media that’s so intent on attacking the Trump administration that it seems blind to its own flaws ought to remind itself of that every once in a while.

Millennials’ struggle with the faith-politics mix

Reported by Bill Bumpas, Steve Jordahl (OneNewsNow.com) | Monday, November 5, 2018

millennials votingEvangelical Millennials are grappling with how to integrate their faith and their politics, as highlighted by a recent article in The New York Times.

Six young Christians, all raised in evangelical homes and now breaking with their parents over how to deal with issues such as same-sex “marriage,” immigration, and race. Those are the profiles the Times chose to highlight out of about 1,500 responses when young evangelicals were asked about the relationship between their faith and their politics:

“Here’s what we learned,” says the Times. “Young evangelicals are questioning the typical ties between evangelicalism and Republican politics. Many said it had caused schisms within their families. And many described a real struggle with an administration they see as hostile to immigrants, Muslims, L.G.B.T.Q. people, and the poor. They feel it reflects a loss of humanity, which conflicts with their spiritual call.”

Evangelical apologist Dr. Alex McFarland says those same discussions are going on in tens of thousands of Christian home across the country.

“[These young evangelicals] do love Jesus. I don’t dispute that,” says McFarland. “But they don’t understand that Christian love doesn’t mean having open borders. Christian love does not mandate that we have universal healthcare. Christian love does not mean that we allow a secular government – or any government – to redistribute wealth.”

McFarland

And he says it certainly doesn’t mean questioning clear biblical teaching on sexuality.

McFarland – founder and president of Truth for a New Generation – says if these young people want to wear the evangelical mantle, they have to have a high view of scripture. “Young people also need to have maybe a little bit more robust understanding of the fine delineations between church and government, personal piety, and the responsibility of good, ordered civil government,” he adds.

Having spoken in more than 1,500 different churches in North America and internationally, he says churches could be doing more to teach these young people what it means to honor God with both their faith and their politics.

“Seventy-four percent of parishioners want their clergy to speak to moral, social, political issues and how does the Word of God speak about today’s issues,” he notes. “In evangelical churches, roughly only 12 percent do.”

Faith fuels voting decisions

If McFarland is right that churches could be doing more to educate young voters, some of that slack is being picked up by groups attempting to educate Millennials on college campuses. As part of this election season, a campaign has been under way on more than 100 Christian college campuses to encourage hundreds of thousands of students to cast a ballot.

The “Because I Care” voting initiative was collaboratively launched by two organizations with the same goal of encouraging Christians to vote: Im2moro and My Faith Votes.

Audrea Decker, president of Im2moro, says the effort provided Christian universities and Bible college students with all they need to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and access a full non-partisan sample ballot and candidate information to be fully informed of each candidate’s positions.

Decker tells OneNewsNow that “Because I Care” is the message they want to send to the next generation.

“You don’t need to vote because you like a particular candidate or a particular party,” she shares. “You vote because of your faith and because you care about your community, your nation, and bringing God’s truth, his proven biblical principles, into the public square – because that is where it’s best for our society and our culture and our world today.

“And so it’s really our faith that fuels our political involvement – and we do it not for ourselves, but for others in the way that policies affect people in our country today.”

Decker says 117 Christian colleges have utilized the “Because I Care” materials on campus, reaching a student population of 325,000. In 2016, the group’s materials made in onto 41 campuses and reached 135,000 students.

Welfare Abusers Get Nasty News from Trump: Time To Go to Work

Reported By Jared Harris | November 1, 2018 at 3:41pm

Many Medicaid recipients in Wisconsin will now have to work to continue benefiting from the program.

President Donald Trump’s administration approved the work requirements Wednesday. The approval also allowed the state to begin charging monthly premiums of up to $8 for those who make between 50 percent and 100 percent of the federal poverty level, as well as a co-payments for using an emergency room for non-emergency services.

The new rules require childless adults under 50 to work at least 80 hours a month to maintain their coverage. If they do not fulfill these work requirements for a 48-month period, they will lose coverage, The Hill reported.

After being kicked from the program, an applicant would have to wait an additional six months to reapply.

Gov. Scott Walker celebrated the requirements, saying in a tweet “We’re removing barriers to work to help Wisconsinites transition from government dependence to true independence!”

With crucial elections less than a week away, this may have been a risky move for conservatives in the Badger State. Gov. Walker’s opponent this year is Democrat Tony Evers. Evers does not support the work requirements and is already leading in several polls. The fallout from this decision may place him even further ahead. Even if this decision costs Walker the governorship, it needed to be done.

Welfare is seen by many as one of the worst things to impact poor communities. The benefits, which still do not require any work in most states, are said to subsidize unemployment and encourage fraud.

Arkansas is another state that recently instituted a work requirement for Medicaid. The state dropped over 4,000 people from the taxpayer’s payroll after the conditions went into effect.

Need for social safety net programs is slowly disappearing, as nationwide unemployment has been steadily dwindling down ever since Trump’s historic victory in 2016. The unemployment rate recently hit a 49-year low and shows little signs of slowing. More people are now working, and with a slowdown of welfare expansion, the American economy is primed for an even higher upwards trend.

Democrats are planning to undo that hard work, and how far they get with that plan all comes down to how conservative America confronts the democratic blue wave. With a bulwark of liberal voters ready to flood the polls on election day, only a large turnout of Republicans will be able to counter it.

Like many recent stories, the future of this one depends on what happens on Nov. 6.

If Americans confirm the work of the GOP and President Trump, work requirements are likely to increase across the nation. In the case of a Democratic victory, welfare restrictions may become a thing of the past.

Rigged for Democrats? Voters Purged from Rolls Will Get Ballots Counted Anyway

Reported By Kara Pendleton | November 1, 2018 at 2:21pm

One of the wonderful things about the United States is the right to vote. Because people move and die, voter rolls need to be purged from time to time to help keep things honest and accurate. In some places, to help with this, voters who haven’t been to the polls in a number of years will be purged from the voter rolls. But a federal court ruling just made that more difficult.

According to The Associated Press, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court on Wednesday ordered election officials in the crucial swing state of Ohio to accept provisional ballots from those purged from the voting rolls between 2011 and 2015 if they show up to cast a ballot for this year’s midterms — either as part of early voting or on Election Day itself.

The voters were purged only after failing to vote for six years, and failing to respond to a notice informing them they would be taken off the rolls for inactivity if they didn’t answer.

However, the AP reported, the appeals court agreed with advocacy groups challenging the purge on the grounds that the letters informing voters about it “were too vague on letting recipients know the consequences of not responding.”

According to the Washington Examiner, “the ruling will allow provisional ballots submitted by voters purged from the rolls between 2011 and 2015 to be taken into account in the state’s early voting — as long as they still live in the same county of their last registration and have not been disqualified from voting due to felony conviction, mental incapacity, or death.”

It’s nice to know death is still a disqualifier from voting. Still, the ruling means that, despite the fact they had made no effort to respond to the letter or vote in six years, voters who were purged from the rolls now can vote anyway. Rules don’t matter. It might not come as a surprise to know that, according to the Washington Examiner, the groups challenging the purge included liberal outfits like the Ohio chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and the progressive “public policy organization” Demos.

With that kind of context, it’s not hard to guess which party is likely to benefit the most from low-information, low-engagement voters suddenly deciding to take an interest in the political life of their country. The ruling is a win for Democrats.

In essence, the liberals’ appeal was pushing the narrative that voters who were purged lacked the intelligence to understand the letters that were sent out or to inquire about them. This is the same kind of argument liberals have pushed about voter ID laws: That some groups are too low-I.Q. to know how to do what everyone else does, which is to get identification to function in modern American society.

So what is the big deal if purged voters can now vote? Tom Fitton, president of legal watchdog group Judicial Watch weighed in on the other aspect of the Ohio process that the 6th Circuit’s ruling did approve of — the basic principle that voter rolls need to be purged for accuracy.

His statement answers that question.

“Great news: another federal court turned aside a leftist attempt to dirty up the voting rolls and undermine clean elections,” Fitton stated. “Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections.

“We will keep pushing in the courts to make sure other states take reasonable steps to make sure the names of dead people and people who have moved away are removed from election rolls. After comparing national census data to voter roll information, Judicial Watch estimates that there are 3.5 million more names on state voter rolls than there are citizens of voting age.”

Even though the court ruled that the purge itself was not the problem, you’d never know that based on a statement from the Demos, which claimed Ohio voters who were purged from the rolls had been “unlawfully disenfranchised.”

So if voting in prior elections, a rule that has been upheld as constitutional, suddenly doesn’t matter, and if failing to respond to a notice that states you may be removed from the voting rolls if you don’t vote or respond also doesn’t matter, what exactly is the criterion for voters in the mind of Democrats? Breathing? Apparently, following the rules everyone else can follow isn’t a requirement.

The elephant in the room, of course, is that the left fighting this hard to get around the rules may indicate a belief on their part that the voters who were purged would vote Democrat. By getting those ballots accepted regardless of the rules, this ruling opens the door for the kind of dirty election the voter purge rules were meant to prevent.

Graphic: Trump Posts the 1 Commercial That Could Win the Midterms for GOP

Reported By Malachi Bailey | November 1, 2018 at 11:08am

President Donald Trump posted a chilling video on Twitter that could motivate Republicans to vote in the midterm elections. As the midterm elections draw near and with some races incredibly close, Trump shared a new video on Twitter along with a link to the Vote.GOP website. The chilling video shows an illegal immigrant from Mexico, Luis Bracamontes, laughing and bragging about his murder of two Northern California sheriff’s deputies.

“It is outrageous what the Democrats are doing to our Country. Vote Republican now!” Trump tweeted with the video, posted Wednesday. (Warning: Contains graphic language.)

“I killed f***ing cops, they’re f***ing dead. I don’t f***ing regret that,” Bracamontes says in the video.

In October of 2014, Bracamontes murdered Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Detective Michael Davis. He was finally found guilty this year which prompted these horrific comments.

“I’m gonna kill more cops soon,” Bracamontes said after promising to break out of prison.

Of course, not all illegal immigrants are as dangerous as Bracamontes, but it’s important to recognize that this monster was able to enter the country and kill people because of decades of bad immigration policy.

Trump has made countless efforts to push through new immigration legislation, but Democrats have stood in the way each time.

Democrats are even defending the caravan of illegal immigrants currently heading toward the United States.

House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the San Francisco Democrat, said in a statement that concern about the caravan is a “baseless fear of some families 1,000 miles away from the border.”

The complete silence coming from the left on the migrant caravan should worry anybody who is concerned about America’s safety and security. Illegal immigration could get even worse if Democrats gain seats in Congress from the 2018 midterm elections.

“Who else would Democrats let in?” the video shared by Trump asks.

If Republicans turn out to vote in the midterm elections, we won’t have to find out.

Black Leaders Issue Powerful Message to CNN over Don Lemon’s Anti-White Comments

Reported By Chris Agee | November 1, 2018 at 1:04pm

CNN host Don Lemon is facing continued backlash over comments he made earlier this week regarding the threat he claimed one group in particular poses to homeland security. Lemon drew fire specifically for declaring that the “biggest terror threat in this country are white men.”

Among those who have since publicly denounced Lemon’s comments are three co-chairmen of the Project 21 Black Leadership Network, an organization sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research, a conservative think tank. A statement from Horace Cooper, Bishop Council Nedd II and Stacy Washington called on CNN bosses to take action in light of the on-air proclamation.

“Within a space of five seconds, CNN’s Don Lemon went from saying we shouldn’t demonize people to broadly labeling white men as our nation’s ‘biggest terror threat,’” they wrote. “That’s not responsible journalism. This cannot stand.”

The trio went on to cite the network president’s recent statement denouncing President Donald Trump’s frequent criticism of CNN and the news media in general. Following a bomb scare at CNN’s New York City headquarters last month, Jeff Zucker issued a statement describing a “total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media.”

Zucker called on Trump and White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to “understand their words matter,” and concluded that “they have shown no comprehension of that” so far in the administration’s first term.

Cooper, Nedd and Washington wrote that Zucker should apply his own standard to his network’s hosts.

“CNN President Jeff Zucker recently called out the White House for its criticism of the media, saying President Trump doesn’t comprehend the importance of the words he uses,” the statement concluded. “It’s time for Zucker to put his own house in order — starting with explaining how Don Lemon’s outrageous statement can stand in light of Zucker’s call for civility.”

Lemon addressed the controversy in a segment Wednesday evening, using data from the Government Accountability Office that indicates right-wing extremists have been responsible for more deadly attacks on U.S. soil than left-leaning groups.

“Earlier this week, I made some comments about that in a conversation with Chris (Cuomo),” he said. “I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men. That angered some people. But let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts. The evidence is overwhelming.”

The information he referenced showed 62 separate attacks staged by terrorists believed to hold radical right-wing views have caused a total of 106 deaths since the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001. Comparing that to a much lower total assigned to left-wing extremist groups, Lemon declared that there was one deadly leftist attack “for every eight deadly attacks by right-wing extremists.”

Tree of Life Rabbi Says He Was ‘Surprised’ by President Trump’s Behavior During Pittsburgh Visit

Reported By Nick Givas | November 1, 2018 at 6:21am

Tree of Life Synagogue Rabbi Jeffrey Meyers said Thursday on CNN’s “New Day” that he was “pleasantly surprised” by President Donald Trump’s warmth and compassion during his visit to Pittsburgh.

“I was privileged to have a private 15 or 20 minutes with the (Trump) family. The president was very warm, very consoling,” Meyers said.

“He put his hand on my shoulder and the first question he asked me was, ‘Rabbi, tell me how are you doing?’ And I must say throughout the time we spent together I was pleasantly surprised by a warm and personal side to the president that I don’t think America has ever seen,” he added.

Meyers said he told the president about his ordeal and said they discussed the issue of hate speech, along with other personal matters.

“I told my personal story of my experience, which they found quite shocking and upsetting,” he said.

“We talked. I shared the same message that I shared with you throughout the course of the week — that hate speech has no place in our society, that hate speech leads to actions of hate. Hate speech led to the death of seven of my congregants and 11 total in my building.

“And we shared other personal conversation that I’d respectfully like to keep personal.”

Meyers said it was important to walk the president through the memorial so he could know who was taken and fully understand how devastating the shooting was on the community.

“I have been through this a few times. I don’t know how people would react to see that horror. It’s seared in my brain and it’s a sight I’ll never forget the rest of my life,” Meyers said.

“After we lit the 11 memorial candles, I chanted … the memorial prayer in Hebrew and in English. The president then asked me if I would escort he and the first lady to the makeshift memorial … and I gave him a bit of a background story about each person because it was a human being who lived, who was a good, decent person and the president needed to know something about these people because they, too, were his citizens.”

‘Terrified’ at Target

Reported by Chris Woodward (OneNewsNow.com) | Thursday, November 1, 2018

“That means that the law [in Massachusetts] protects his right to be in that bathroom – and as the police say, per this new article in the New Boston Post, on ‘October 16th we responded to a call of suspicious activity at the Woburn Target, we identified and spoke with all identified parties, an investigation was initiated, the information currently available to us indicates that there may have been no crime committed,'” Beckwith points out. “Again, [this] article identifies the man in that women’s bathroom as an adult biological male who identifies as a woman.”

It is here that Beckwith says he sees problems.

“First, he’s in there to begin with and who knows what he’s doing,” Beckwith explains. “At a minimum he has terrified this 10-year-old girl – and fortunately she is safe – but now the police can’t really do anything about it. Their hands are tied because of this law [because] it gives him a right to be in there as long as he claims to identify as a woman.”

If the parents had complained to store management – and had management prevented the man from going into the women’s restroom in order to protect the privacy and safety of all its customers, Beckwith says Target would be susceptible for up to a $50,000 fine.

Beckwith adds that if this was his daughter and he tried to stop the man from entering the bathroom, he could go to jail for up to a year, according to the law that’s up for repeal next Tuesday.

“I don’t think it mattered to that 10-year-old girl how that man may or may not have identified,” Beckwith concludes. “She was terrified – and this law allows him to be in there.”

The ACLU and Human Rights Campaign-backed Freedom for All Massachusetts says the law is about inclusivity and preventing discrimination of the transgender community. But Keep MA Safe argues that sexual predators can and will take advantage of the law, putting women and children at risk.

“We haven’t exactly gotten a fair shake when it comes to mainstream media,” says Keep MA Safe spokeswoman Yvette Ollada. “They are now editorializing and making things up as they go, or calling [us] to ‘get the other side.’ But really they just do it as a gesture and don’t even represent anything that our side says.”

Blog posts, press releases, and news clips have been launched from both sides of the debate in their efforts to raise more funds for their respective campaigns.

Don Lemon said what about white men?

Authored by Dr. Michael L. Brown – Guest Columnist | Thursday, November 1, 2018 | http://www.askdrbrown.org/

Michael BrownA liberal like CNN’s Don Lemon will hardly be held accountable by an overwhelmingly leftist media – whereas a conservative will be eaten alive for perceived insensitive or racially charged comments.

What if Sean Hannity had said on Fox News that “the biggest terror threat in this country is black men, most of them radicalized to the left, and we have to start doing something about them”? The uproar would be immediate, unrelenting, and intense. And it would continue until Fox handed over Hannity’s head on a platter.

Don Lemon (CNN)Of course, Hannity said no such thing. But CNN’s Don Lemon (right) said this:

“We have to stop demonizing people and realize that the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”

As for the uproar – well, where is it?

As for CNN’s response, “A CNN spokeswoman said Wednesday neither Lemon nor the network would speak more about it.” No big deal. Nothing to talk about. Controversy over.

Yet a few days earlier, Megyn Kelly’s blackface comment was the straw that broke the camel’s back, leading to her firing by NBC. What a contrast!

If her comment was offensive, his was beyond offensive. His was off the charts in terms of broadness and ugliness. His was off the charts in terms of being dangerous. Yes, he said, “we have to start doing something about them.”

Why the glaring double standard?

But we actually see this double standard virtually every single day. It is a standard based on bias rather than balance and on politics rather than parity. What would have happened if Laura Ingraham claimed that Barack Obama “radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did.” What would happen to her career? To my knowledge, she said no such thing.

CNN logoBut just this week, GQ’s Julia Ioffe said on CNN that “this president has radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did.”

To his credit, CNN’s David Urban responded immediately, saying, “That’s just…it’s unconscionable for you to say that.”

Jake Tapper, however, offered little resistance, and Ioffe’s apology did not exactly hit things out of the park.

The double standards continue.

What if, on the anniversary of 9/11, Mark Levin said that Joe Biden “has done more damage to the dream of America than any foreign adversary ever could.” Could you imagine the outrage and calls for him to be taken off the air?

MSNBC logoBut on September 10, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough wrote that President Trump “has done more damage to the dream of America than any foreign adversary ever could.” Have you noticed that he has not skipped a beat on MSNBC since penning those unfortunate words?

And for all those who attack President Trump’s immigration policy, I assume you disagree with these words, correct? To quote exactly:

“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the U.S., undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, lawfully to become immigrants in this country.”

There’s only one problem. These are not the words of Donald Trump. They are the words of Senator Barack Obama, spoken in 2005. Even Snopes.com, a left-leaning fact-checking website, verifies this.

Yet Obama was praised for expressing these sentiments while Trump is condemned for expressing similar views.

How about this immigration quote? Surely Trump is a bigot for saying such things:

“But there are some areas that the federal government should not leave and should address and address strongly. One of these areas is the problem of illegal immigration. After years of neglect, this administration has taken a strong stand to stiffen the protection of our borders. We are increasing border controls by 50 percent. We are increasing inspections to prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. And tonight, I announce I will sign an executive order to deny federal contracts to businesses that hire illegal immigrants.

“Let me be very clear about this: We are still a nation of immigrants; we should be proud of it. We should honor every legal immigrant here, working hard to become a new citizen. But we are also a nation of laws.”

Horrible, you say? This is why you’re a Democrat rather than a Republican? Well, these are not Trump’s words either. Rather, they are the words of President Bill Clinton in his 1996 State of the Union address.

Did I say double standard? Did I say that we judge things by bias more than by balance?

But the sword cuts both ways (and here is where I will offend many of my fellow-conservatives).

It’s true that the TV and news media are overwhelmingly leftist. And that means that a liberal like Don Lemon will hardly be held accountable, whereas a conservative will be eaten alive for perceived insensitive or racially charged comments.

But if we are to be honest with ourselves, we would have to acknowledge that the very things we condone when they’re on “our side” are the things we condemn when they’re on the “other side.” We have our double standards too.

If you don’t believe me, try this little exercise. If you are a fellow-conservative and fellow-Trump supporter, imagine how would you feel about Donald Trump if he was to the left of Bernie Sanders politically and ideologically. Would you appreciate his deprecating tweets? Would you excuse his exaggerations and misstatements? Would you consider him a champion or a bully?

So, my appeal is simple and succinct. Let’s call balls and strikes fairly. Let’s hold the sword of truth firmly and unflinchingly.

In a society swarming with lies and misinformation, only the truth can set us free.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “The True History of Millstone Babies”

Commentary by Ann Coulter  |

Having mastered fake news, now the media are trying out a little fake history.

In the news business, new topics are always popping up, from the Logan Act and the emoluments clause to North Korea. The all-star panels rush to Wikipedia, so they can pretend to be experts on things they knew nothing about an hour earlier.

Such is the case today with “anchor babies” and “birthright citizenship.” People who know zilch about the history of the 14th Amendment are pontificating magnificently and completely falsely on the issue du jour.

If you’d like to be the smartest person at your next cocktail party by knowing the truth about the 14th Amendment, this is the column for you!

Of course the president can end the citizenship of “anchor babies” by executive order — for the simple reason that no Supreme Court or U.S. Congress has ever conferred such a right. It’s just something everyone believes to be true.

How could anyone — even a not-very-bright person — imagine that granting citizenship to the children of illegal aliens is actually in our Constitution? The first question would be: Why would they do that? It’s like being accused of robbing a homeless person. WHY WOULD I?

The Supreme Court has stated — repeatedly! — that the “main object” of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment “was to settle the question … as to the citizenship of free negroes,” making them “citizens of the United States and of the state in which they reside.”

Democrats, the entire media and House Speaker Paul Ryan seem to have forgotten the Civil War. They believe that, immediately after a war that ended slavery, Americans rose up as one and demanded that the children of illegals be granted citizenship!

You know what’s really bothering me? If someone comes into the country illegally and has a kid, that kid should be an American citizen!

YOU MEAN THAT’S NOT ALREADY IN THE CONSTITUTION?

Give me a scenario — just one scenario — where the post-Civil War amendments would be intended to grant citizenship to the kids of Chinese ladies flying to birthing hospitals in California, or pregnant Latin Americans sneaking across the border in the back of flatbed trucks.

You can make it up. It doesn’t have to be a true scenario. Any scenario!

As the court has explained again and again and again:

“(N)o one can fail to be impressed with the one pervading purpose found in (the 13th, 14th and 15th) amendments, lying at the foundation of each, and without which none of them would have been even suggested; we mean the freedom of the slave race, the security and firm establishment of that freedom, and the protection of the newly made freeman and citizen from the oppressions of those who had formerly exercised unlimited dominion over him.”

That’s why the amendment refers to people who are “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States “and of the state wherein they reside.” For generations, African-Americans were domiciled in this country. The only reason they weren’t citizens was because of slavery, which the country had just fought a civil war to end.

The 14th Amendment fixed that.

The amendment didn’t even make Indians citizens. Why? Because it was about freed slaves. Sixteen years after the 14th Amendment was ratified, the Supreme Court held that an American Indian, John Elk, was not a citizen, despite having been born here.

Instead, Congress had to pass a separate law making Indians citizens, which it did, more than half a century after the adoption of the 14th Amendment. (It’s easy to miss — the law is titled: “THE INDIAN CITIZENSHIP ACT OF 1924.”) Why would such a law be necessary if simply being born in the U.S. was enough to confer citizenship?

Even today, the children of diplomats and foreign ministers are not granted citizenship on the basis of being born here.

President Trump, unlike his critics, honors black history by recognizing that the whole purpose of the Civil War amendments was to guarantee the rights of freed slaves.

But the left has always been bored with black people. If they start gassing on about “civil rights,” you can be sure it will be about transgenders, the abortion ladies or illegal aliens. Liberals can never seem to remember the people whose ancestors were brought here as slaves, i.e., the only reason we even have civil rights laws.

Still, it requires breathtaking audacity to use the Civil War amendments to bring in cheap foreign labor, which drives down the wages of African-Americans — the very people the amendments were written to protect!

Whether the children born to legal immigrants are citizens is controversial enough. But at least there’s a Supreme Court decision claiming that they are — U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. That’s “birthright citizenship.”

It’s something else entirely to claim that an illegal alien, subject to deportation, can drop a baby and suddenly claim to be the parent of a “citizen.” This crackpot notion was concocted by liberal zealot Justice William Brennan and slipped into a footnote as dicta in a 1982 case. “Dictameans it was not the ruling of the court, just a random aside, with zero legal significance. Left-wing activists seized on Brennan’s aside and browbeat everyone into believing that anchor babies are part of our great constitutional heritage, emerging straight from the pen of James Madison.

No Supreme Court has ever held that children born to illegal aliens are citizens. No Congress has deliberated and decided to grant that right. It’s a made-up right, grounded only in the smoke and mirrors around Justice Brennan’s 1982 footnote.

Obviously, it would be better if Congress passed a law clearly stating that children born to illegals are not citizens. (Trump won’t be president forever!) But until that happens, the president of the United States is not required to continue a ridiculous practice that has absolutely no basis in law.

It’s often said that journalism is the first draft of history. As we now we see, fake news is the first draft of fake history.

Yes, unvetted illegal caravans threaten public health

Commentary by: Michelle Malkin – Guest Columnist | Wednesday, October 31, 2018 | http://michellemalkin.com/

Michelle MalkinIt’s bizarre, isn’t it? Some of the same outspoken, big government advocates for vaccinating every American citizen, young or old, against every possible condition, are the same types now howling over the commonsense idea that we should protect ourselves from foreign diseases.

We live in bizarro times. Suddenly, it is controversial to state obvious, neon-bright truths. This week, it has become newsworthy to observe that illegal border-crossers who circumvent required medical screenings are a threat to America’s public health and safety.

Just look at these hyperventilating headlines and tweets:

From Newsweek, which is supposed to, you know, report actual news of the week: “‘We don’t know what people have’: Laura Ingraham calls migrant caravan a health issue.”

And from The Daily Beast: “Fox & Friends Host Brian Kilmeade Fears ‘Diseases’ Brought By Migrant Caravan.”

This is not “news.” It’s propaganda recycled and regurgitated by lazy political operatives masquerading as journalists. At least the Newsweek writer gave credit to his zealous hitmen sources: “Ingraham’s comments,” he dutifully wrote, “were first highlighted by Media Matters for America.”

MMfA is a militant left-wing oppo research outfit funded by progressive billionaire George Soros. Somehow, not-really-Newsweek forgot to mention this fact. (Alas, mentioning Soros subsidies has also become a forbidden act this week, but that’s another story.) The determined intent of these “news” pieces is not to inform readers but to inflame them with the dog-whistle assumption that conservatives, Fox personalities and ordinary Americans who worry about diseases from immigration are de facto racists.

On cue, tennis star and celebrity leftist Martina Navratilova barked at Fox News’ Kilmeade on Twitter: “YOU ARE THE DISEASE! the migrants are not the problem, trump and his sycophants, like you, are the problem. Stop spewing fear and prejudice.”

Comedian John Henson tweeted: “Brian Kilmeade is spreading the disease of intolerance every single day…”

And former Clinton press flack-turned CNN hack Joe Lockhart wrote: “This is the disease Fox News spreads every day. They are complicit with Trump in trying to change the character of our country.”

Newsflash, fake newsers: It’s neither racist nor xenophobic nor hateful to discuss the impact of unfettered mass immigration and unvetted caravans of illegal border-crossers on our public health.

My parents, legal immigrants from the Philippines, were screened for a panoply of communicable and infectious diseases.

My husband’s great-great grandparents and their relatives from Ukraine underwent thorough medical and physical exams at Ellis Island immediately after disembarking from their arduous transatlantic journeys. A team of doctors checked for everything from eye disease and muscle weakness to heart conditions, ringworm and mental deficiencies. Those who failed were rejected and ejected. No appeals, no apologies, no amnesty.

infectious diseases in caravanI find it especially bizarre that some of the same outspoken, big government advocates for vaccinating every American citizen, young or old, against every possible condition, from the flu to chickenpox to HPV, are the same types now howling over the commonsense idea that we should protect ourselves from foreign diseases.

It wasn’t Trump’s idea to build a wall against microscopic invaders.

The Immigration and Nationality Act mandates medical screening exams for legal immigrants and refugees from around the world. The tests are performed by authorized physicians in either the applicants’ countries of origin or in the United States. The process includes “a physical examination, mental health evaluation, syphilis serologic testing … and chest radiography followed by acid-fast bacillus smears and sputum cultures if the chest radiograph is consistent with tuberculosis (TB).”

Legal immigrants and refugees must provide mandatory proof of vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, polio, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis A and B, rotavirus, meningococcus, chicken pox, pneumonia and seasonal flu.

Moreover, the Centers for Disease Control, not Fox News or the Trump White House or any other evil conservatives, reports that “most experts agree that testing for TB, hepatitis B, and HIV should be performed for most new arrivals to the United States. Clinicians should also make a habit of ensuring that this screening has been done for every new non-US-born patient they see, regardless of time since the person’s arrival.”

Actual public health experts across the Southwest have reported rises in drug-resistant TB and dengue fever. In June, Australian public health researchers reported that “scabies, long considered a disease of the past in the developed world, is making its way back.” The scientists pointed to mass global migration as a leading factor, noting scabies outbreaks among refugees to the European Union and along America’s southern border.

And in Germany, federal epidemiologists reported that since opening the floodgates to migrants in 2015, data show “increased incidences in Germany of adenoviral conjunctivitis, botulism, chicken pox, cholera, cryptosporidiosis, dengue fever, echinococcosis, enterohemorrhagic E. coli, giardiasis, haemophilus influenza, Hantavirus, hepatitis, hemorrhagic fever, HIV/AIDS, leprosy, louse-borne relapsing fever, malaria, measles, meningococcal disease, meningoencephalitis, mumps, paratyphoid, rubella, shigellosis, syphilis, toxoplasmosis, trichinellosis, tuberculosis, tularemia, typhus and whooping cough.”

It’s simply insane to argue we should turn a blind eye to the health status of law-breaking aliens. And it’s treachery, yes, treachery, for so-called journalists to use their platforms to blithely smear those who dare to question open borders orthodoxy or report the highly inconvenient facts.

Watch: MSNBC Reporter Instantly Regrets Asking Hispanic Voter About Trump, Illegals

Reported By Joe Saunders | October 31, 2018 at 6:19am

This is what liberals will never learn.

A political ideology that’s locked into the idea that how Americans vote is determined by the color of their skin or ethnic background is always going to be taken by surprise when it turns out individuals are perfectly capable of exercising their own judgment based on their own experience and their own principles.

And MSNBC just gave its viewers that kind of surprise with a report from a race for Congress in Texas.

In the Lone Star State’s 7th Congressional District, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle reported Tuesday, Republican Rep. John Culberson is in a “tight race” with Democratic challenger Lizzie Fletcher. Ruhle cited a poll showing Culberson with only a 1 percentage point lead and pointed out that the district is 30 percent Hispanic.

Reporting from on the ground in the district, which covers parts of Houston and areas west of the city, MSNBC’s Mariana Atencio found not all Hispanics are favorable toward Democrats’ policy of welcoming illegal aliens.

The Republican National Committee wasted no time in posting an exceprt of the Atencio report – an interview with a Hispanic man at an early voting site in Houston that proves immigration isn’t the Achilles heel for Republicans that so much of the liberal media likes to pretend.

Check it out here:

“Democrats believe that if they can get Latinos to turn out, that is what is going to push the Democratic challenger over the top,” Atencio said.

But she pointed out that Hispanic voting could be a two-edged sword.

“Texas Latinos, if they turn out, they may not all necessarily turn out blue,” Atencio said.

And one man she interviewed proved the point.

“I do believe, if somebody wants to live in the United States, they should go through the official process,” one voter, identified as Rob Gutierrez, told Atencio. “And so as a result, I tend to ally myself with people who agree with that.”

When Atencio pressed, asking if images of migrant caravans, for instance, might affect how Gutierrez votes, his answer was simple.

“Yes, it makes me want to vote Republican,” he said. “Because I think that if you want to live in this country, you need to abide by its laws.”

This is a voter who understands his principles, and he understands what political party shares them. And they’re completely independent of his ethnic background. And that’s something liberals will never learn.

WATCH: White Leftist Confronts Black Man With MAGA Hat and It’s Disgusting

Reported By | Wes Walker |

If the MAGA hat were on the aggressor’s head, the media would have been calling for blood. This is the kind of aggressive stupidity that gets people ‘outed’ on the internet, and — in some cases — fired.

We saw it with the Portland Antifa punk who tried to harass and intimidate the 9/11 widow (he got fired). We saw it with the pro-life girl took a roundhouse from some dumb leftist radical who had pulled a similar stunt on another pro-life demonstrator. (He got fired AND he is facing criminal charges.)

But don’t expect the media to get all ‘huffy’ about this particular exchange, because it doesn’t fit their ‘Orange Man Bad’ talking points. It’s actually the exact opposite.

We’ve got a scene in a coffee shop, where one customer is minding his own business — he’s trying to talk to somebody on the phone, even, if you look closely — while some self-important moron in a football jersey takes it upon himself get right up in the stranger’s face and to ‘correct’ the his politics.

The white Liberal was very offended by the black man’s MAGA hat.’

What’s wrong with my supporting Trump?”

The guy in the hat was just trying to quietly go about his life, but the physically larger liberal guy wouldn’t let it go.

Doing exactly what Maxine Waters has called her supporters to do, he made a scene, got right in his face, got hostile, raised his voice at him and eventually knocked his hat off his head and onto the floor.

This story has been out for a few days now, but we came back to it because the Media(D) has been hammering the narrative that Trump and the Right are responsible for ‘escalating’ hostility in public discourse, because of mean words.

But how many variants of this story have we heard before?

The MAGA hat triggers some rage event in public, and either someone is berated for it, or the hat gets stolen, or someone is denied service in a restaurant, or someone gets assaulted — one truck was even shot at for having a MAGA flag if you remember, and another one spraypainted ‘Trump’ and burned in Portland more recently.

These are not escalations of violence on the part of Republicans, are they? And what happens when women or ethnic men show their support for the President? They’re ‘traitors’ to their ‘race’ or ‘gender’. They get disparaged by Media Talking heads. Marc Lamont Hill called black Republican Trump supporters “Mediocre Negroes”.

Kanye — who isn’t even a Republican, just someone who has positive things to say about both Hillary AND Donald Trump — was facing death threats for wearing that hat.

Do you know what we didn’t see? When the Free Press (which for living memory has been cleverly disguised as the AV department of the Democrat party) was bending over backward to connect Trump’s words to the mail bomb attacks, or even worse, to the disgusting anti-Semite who shot up a Synagogue over the weekend, they had nothing to say about this video.

Because it was a smaller black guy being harassed by a Liberal white guy. They don’t want THOSE stories in circulation. Not when they’re trying to paint THEIR side as the perpetual victims of the Big Mean Republicans.

But people are wising up. They’ve stopped watching CNN. The political tide is turning.

In our favor.

BLACK MAN in a MAGA Hat & American Exceptionalism #WalkAway pt 2 #TRUMP2020

Published on Jul 23, 2018

“The BEST thing to ever happen to me financially was when I was kicked off Food Stamps because I started making too much money. 26 years ago, I was homeless and sleeping on the streets of Atlanta. Through the Grace of God, hard work and the support from many fellow Americans (blacks, whites, Jews & Gentiles); I conquered my adversity and started living my American Dream independent from Government Assistance.
This spirit of American Exceptionalism is what MAGA is all about. The United States gives each person the BEST chance of success to work hard and become the greatest version of themselves while embracing patriotism, faith and a willingness to help others become free.  Our country is not perfect and it’s going to take ALL of us to make America great for MORE of us. We don’t have to always agree, but we can work together through mutual respect to create a more perfect union.” YG Nyghtstorm

1. Democratic leaders told me to STOP talking about Christ so much because God offends some of their base. God has given me everything, so I refused.

2. My twins Howard & Hank were aborted in 1999. My PROLIFE stance offended some of their base. They told me to stop talking about saving the unborn, but I refused.

3. The Dems did not like my love for America as some became relentless with their social media attacks against me calling me a coon, sell-out, Uncle Tom and traitor to my race, but I DON’T CARE.

A master smackdown for Kamala Harris on Twitter

Posted By Monica Showalter | October 2, 2018

Democrats have been puffing and bloviating and making political hay off the appalling mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue, but few can match the sanctimonious hypocrisy of California’s junior senator, Kamala Harris, who tweeted:

This earned her this impressive smackdown from Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit on Twitter (who had been last seen smacking down smarmy hipster narrative-echo chamberman Ben Rhodes), drawing nearly 6,000 retweets and 15,000 likes:

Way to take out the trash.  Short, snappy, and factual – a perfect rimshot exposing the Democrats’ hypocrisy.

Reynolds’s smackdown was pretty much all that needed to be said about the matter, but Harris actually got a lot of smackdowns on Twitter and a few merit honorable mentions.  Enjoy the show:

Democrat Party Bosses And ‘Sweet Immigrants’ BUSTED For Organized TX Voter Fraud

Reported By Jim Kouri |

ClashDaily Guest Contributor

“The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 28.2 percent of Hispanic voters in the 2008 election were immigrants,” according to Steven Camarota of Center for Immigration Studies.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday officially reported that four suspects were indicted on numerous felony counts of voter fraud. The suspects were arrested during the ongoing investigation by the Election Fraud Unit of Paxton’s office. However, Democrats are not celebrating such arrests calling the case an example of overzealous police work.

Paxton has been charging a record number of people with committing voter fraud, an effort his critics condemn as a law enforcement campaign to discourage minority voters from casting ballots. “The truth is that the attorney general’s office is only trying to discourage non-citizens from voting,” said former prosecuting attorney Charles Simpson.

These four latest defendants – all members of an organized voter fraud ring – were paid to target elderly voters in certain Fort Worth precincts in a scheme to generate a large number of mail ballots, and then harvest those ballots for specific candidates during the 2016 elections.

“Ballots by mail are intended to make it easier for Texas seniors to vote. The unfortunate downside is their extreme vulnerability to fraud,” Attorney General Paxton said in a statement. “My office is committed to ensuring that paid vote harvesters who fraudulently generate mail ballots, stealing votes from seniors, are held accountable for their despicable actions and for the damage they inflict on the electoral process,” said Paxton, a long-time Republican.

The state’s newly filed notice of intent to introduce evidence in the criminal case alleged that Stuart Clegg, then Tarrant County Democratic Party executive director, funded the alleged voter fraud ring’s criminal activities.

The Star-Telegram added that “after learning about a state investigation, Leticia Sanchez — one of four women arrested and indicted on voter fraud charges — allegedly directed her daughter to send a text message to others in the scheme, urging them not to cooperate with investigators, state officials say.”

According to the Texas Attorney General’s communications officials, Leticia Sanchez was indicted on one count of illegal voting, a second-degree felony punishable by a prison term of two to 20 years, if convicted. All defendants in the case face state jail felony charges of providing false information on an application for a mail ballot – Sanchez (16 counts), Leticia Sanchez Tepichin (10 counts), Maria Solis (two counts) and Laura Parra (one count).

During a press briefing, the Attorney General described how the suspects operated:

Vote harvesting is accomplished generally in two phases: seeding and harvesting.  In the seeding phase, applications for mail ballot are proliferated in order to blanket targeted precincts with mail ballots.  Then, when ballots are mailed out by the election offices, harvesters attempt either to intercept the ballots outright, or to “assist” elderly voters in voting their ballots while ensuring that the votes are cast for the candidates of the harvesters’ choice. In most cases, the voters do not even know their votes have been stolen.

The investigation into the Fort Worth voter fraud ring by the attorney general’s prosecutors and detectives revealed that falsified applications were generated using forged signatures and by altering historical applications and resubmitting them without the knowledge of the genuine voters.

The ‘harvesters’ also used deceptive tactics in order to obtain signatures from unsuspecting voters. Many of the victimized voters were forced to cancel their mail-in ballots in order to be eligible to vote in person. Some of the unsuspecting victims were forced into receiving primary ballots for the political party supported by the harvesters, though it was not the Democratic Party candidates the voters wished to vote for.

From 2005-2017, the attorney general’s office prosecuted 97 defendants for numerous voter fraud violations. This year alone, Attorney General Paxton’s Election Fraud Unit – with assistance from a criminal justice grant from the governor’s office – has prosecuted 33 defendants for a total of 97 election fraud violations, according to a news release.

In February 2018, the attorney general revealed his plan for a significant voter fraud initiative and he addressed key problems and policy areas related to election law.

Parents warned not to fall for docs’ gender-identity thesis

Reported by Bob Kellogg (OneNewsNow.com) | Tuesday, October 30, 2018

pediatrician doctor treating childThe nation’s largest association of pediatricians has released a dangerous and misleading policy statement about transgender intervention, according to a cultural issues writer.

The recently released statement by the Illinois-based American Academy of Pediatrics supports chemical and surgical intervention for transgender teens. “Ensuring Comprehensive Care and Support for Transgender and Gender-Diverse Children and Adolescents” was authored by Dr. Jason Rafferty – who argues that “sex typically refers to anatomy while gender goes beyond biology,” and that “gender identity is more an inner sense of being male, female or somewhere in between – regardless of physical anatomy.”

Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute contends school officials and parents may be easily misled by the AAP’s report. “Anytime you have a big organization come out and issue a statement, it affirms this ideology,” she laments. “In the public’s eyes it says Oh – well, if the AAP says that, then it must be true.”

She says the American College of Pediatricians, a much more conservative organization, broke away from the AAP and its liberal ideology.

“The left will dismiss the American College of Pediatricians as a right-wing fringe group. They’re not,” Higgins emphasizes. “They were all members of the AAP; I think they’re still members of the AAP – they just decided the AAP no longer works for the health of children.” [Editor’s note: The AAP motto is “Dedicated to the Health of All Children.”]

In fact, Dr. Michelle Cretella, executive director of the American College of Pediatricians, calls it a foundational lie being perpetrated by the AAP and Rafferty that individuals have a “sex” and something else called “gender.”

In an article for the Illinois Family Institute, Higgins points out that fewer than 60 members of the 67,000-member AAP created and voted for the new policy. Most of the other members did not even see it, she says, let alone vote on it.

Denying reality at a steep price

Written by Robert Knight – Guest Columnist | Tuesday, October 30, 2018

Robert KnightAs Christians, we need to approach hurting people with compassion. But we need to oppose obscene developments like drugging children to delay their natural puberty in order to steer them into identifying with the opposite sex. That is child abuse.

The idea of two distinct sexes has been acknowledged as fundamental reality for thousands of years by billions of people, biology and every major religion.

The Trump administration agrees, which is why the Health and Human Services Department is circulating a proposal defining gender this way for purposes of interpreting Title IX of the Civil Rights Act:

“The sex listed on a person’s birth certificate, as originally issued, shall constitute definitive proof of a person’s sex unless rebutted by reliable genetic evidence.” Further, the determination should rest “on a biological basis that is clear, grounded in science, objective and administrable.”

This means that when a baby is born, it’s still okay to say, “It’s a girl!” or “It’s a boy!” without having to ask the baby which sex it thinks it is.

Unsurprisingly, the Trump administration’s straightforward return to sanity has triggered a hysteria unseen since a majority of Americans had the audacity to say out loud that marriage is the natural union of male and female. The dystopic left is apoplectic that anyone still dares to resist their distorted view of human sexuality. They know that most people know better but are afraid to say so.

gender confusion 3This is about much more than some people claiming to be the other sex and trying with the help of the media to rig the culture and legal system to their version of reality. It’s a power struggle. The ruling elites aim to make us say that up is down, right is wrong, sweet is bitter and life is death.

Leading the charge, The Washington Post editorialized that the HHS proposal, first reported by fellow cultural Marxists at The New York Times, was a “denial of reality” and based on “warped logic.” Seriously.

Here’s more: “A brief conversation with a transgender person would cure most Americans of the notion that their expressed gender identity is a shallow preference, a phase or something other than a deeply held knowledge that their body does not match who they are.”

There’s nothing shallow about someone being so out of kilter with his own biology that he would contemplate surgical removal of otherwise healthy body parts.

The same people who accuse traditionalists of imposing their values on others insist that biology is meaningless. But just because someone strongly believes something does not make it so. Some people are afflicted with species dysphoria, in which they believe they are animals, a “non-human species trapped in a human body.” Are you going to believe them or your lying eyes?

On October 12, The Post ran an article by Josh Rogin, “Giselle Donnelly Can Finally Be Herself.” It’s about the transition of a 65-year-old man, “renowned national security expert, author and conservative think-tank scholar” Thomas Donnelly, into a transwoman.

After his first marriage ended, Mr. Donnelly met a woman who “shared a love of national security, wine, gender fluidity and BDSM.” That’s bondage, discipline, dominance and submission and sadomasochism. You know, The Post‘s idea of normal.

Married last year, the couple are starring in a movie called The Makeover, described as “a distinctly traditional love story set in a decidedly non-traditional milieu of shifting gender.”

Mr. Rogin declares that, “One would hope that in 2018, even in Washington, most people understand it’s not abnormal that a person’s mental, emotional and spiritual being don’t align with their physical body. And society will eventually evolve to a place where it’s not a big deal.”

Giselle Donnelly offers this: “Living a normal life is in a way its own statement. I’m happy with that, because that’s who I am.”

There’s nothing wrong with treating people like Thomas/Giselle or Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner with kindness. We should all strive to live out Jesus’ admonition to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. But we need to oppose obscene developments like drugging children to delay their natural puberty in order to steer them into identifying with the opposite sex. That is child abuse.

Here’s a welcome corrective from Dr. Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital, who once favored sex-change surgery but now opposes it:

“I have witnessed a great deal of damage from sex-reassignment,” he wrote. “The children transformed from their male constitution into female roles suffered prolonged distress and misery as they sensed their natural attitudes. We have wasted scientific and technical resources and damaged our professional credibility by collaborating with madness rather than trying to study, cure, and ultimately prevent it.”

At the end of the cross-dressing 1959 comedy Some Like It Hot, Joe E. Brown is driving away in a speed boat with Jack Lemmon still dressed as a woman. Insisting he wants to marry “her,” Mr. Brown hears Mr. Lemmon give a half dozen excuses until finally ripping off his wig in exasperation and declaring that they couldn’t marry because, “I’m a man!”

The cheerful Mr. Brown smiles and says, “Well, nobody’s perfect.”

No, nobody is perfect, which is why we need to approach hurting people with compassion while declining to become co-dependents in their denial of reality.

Images of Dems Adoring Farrakhan: Jew-Hater with Same Rhetoric as Synagogue Shooter

Reported By Cillian Zeal | October 29, 2018 at 1:43pm

Louis Farrakhan is one of America’s most irredeemable anti-Semites. He’s also inexplicably beloved by scads of liberals. Sure, you probably won’t see too many of them putting up group photos with him after this weekend’s anti-Semitic hate crime in Pittsburgh. However, when the eyes of the world aren’t on our liberal politicians, they’re more than happy to fraternize with the Nation of Islam leader. They may try to pass him off as a “civil rights icon” or some such mess, all while wallpapering over his multifarious hatreds.

That’s why it’s probably good to begin with a refresher on what Farrakhan has said about Jewish people in the past:

“Don’t you forget, when it’s God who puts you in the ovens, it’s forever!” — Farrakhan in 1985, according to The Weekly Standard, talking about what will happen to Jewish people in the afterlife.

“I believe that for the small numbers of Jewish people in the United States, they exercise a tremendous amount of influence on the affairs of government …Yes, they exercise extraordinary control, and black people will never be free in this country until they are free of that kind of control.” — Farrakhan during a 1997 appearance on “Meet the Press.”

“I don’t own Hollywood. Who depicted Black people? Who writes the books? Who writes the plays, the songs that make us look less than human? Do you mean to tell me that Jews have never done any evil to Black people?…Were they not involved in the slave trade? Yes, they were…and to the extent that they were involved, somebody has to bring them to account. And I believe that has fallen on me.” — Farrakhan on the Jewish people in 1994.

“The Jews have been so bad at politics they lost half their population in the Holocaust. They thought they could trust in Hitler, and they helped him get the Third Reich on the road.” — Farrakhan during a Savior’s Day speech in 1998.

“The Jews don’t like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man.” — Farrakhan on the Nazis, 1984.

This is obviously a sick man with a long and storied history of straight-up anti-Semitism; there aren’t any dog whistles here. This is basically a black David Duke with a savior complex.

So why, then, do the Democrats feel the need to show this man any fealty?

We can look, first, at the highest-profile Democrat to have met with Farrakhan: None other than former President Barack Obama, from his days as a U.S. senator.

Keep in mind that this picture was kept secret for years; while it took place three years before Obama ran for president, it only came to light two years after he left office. And when it was released, nobody in the media seemed to particularly care. (Here’s where one would normally insert that emoji of the smiley-face rubbing its chin and thinking.)

Of course, other media darlings have also been quite close with the Nation of Islam leader. Here’s California Democratic Rep. Maxine Water giving a hug to Farrakhan shortly after Hurricane Katrina, also in 2005.

Neither of these Democrats can actually be accused of being in the Nation of Islam, however.

The same can’t be said for Rep. Keith Ellison. While the Minnesota Democrat is probably better known these days for allegations that he abused two former partners, Ellison was once a member of the religious sect but says he’s disavowed its belief systems. The important word there is says: “Despite that professed distance from Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, Rep. Ellison attended a 2013 event given by Iran’s president Rouhani that included Farrakhan, and Farrakhan himself has spoken of a 2015 visit by Reps. Ellison and Andre Carson to Farrakhan’s Washington, D.C., hotel suite,” The Weekly Standard reported earlier this year.

“Now a series of photographs reveals a recent visit by Ellison to the Chicago headquarters of the Coalition for the Remembrance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad (CROE), an organization formed in 1987 to honor and promote the teaching of Elijah Muhammad, former leader of the Nation of Islam and mentor to Louis Farrakhan. Although the exact date of the photographs is not clear, other factors suggest sometime between 2014 and 2016.”

Nor is this liberal worship of Farrakhan a recent thing. Witness this 1993 town hall meeting titled “Race in America” hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus. Farrakhan appears with several congressmen — all Democrats — during the symposium.

If we’re going to talk about legislators in Washington fomenting hate, we need to start with the most egregious examples. Farrakhan is a reprehensible bigot, a man who should be disowned by every American, particularly after the events of this past weekend. This is a man whose rhetoric is the same as the Pittsburgh killer’s. This is a man who has incited hatred for decades.

He’s seen as a civil rights icon, yet there’s arguably no other individual who has done as much to attack the civil rights of Jewish people as Farrakhan has. That he hasn’t been disowned yet — and will likely continue to be adored — should tell you all you need to know about the hypocrisy of the Democrats.
