Armed with Assault Rifles, Black Panthers March for Stacey Abrams

Reported By Jason Hopkins | November 4, 2018 at 10:11am

Members of the Black Panther Party marched through the city of Atlanta, strapped with assault rifles and brandishing Stacey Abrams campaign signs. In a video posted on the group’s Facebook page on Saturday, members of the Black Panther Party are seen marching through the West End neighborhood of Atlanta in support of Stacey Abrams gubernatorial campaign. As they marched, the Black Panthers carried assault rifles and continually shouted slogans such as “black power” and “power to the people.”

The video shows the panthers marching for nearly 30 minutes through the city of Atlanta until they enter a local radio station.

When reached for comment by The Daily Caller News Foundation, the Abrams campaign forwarded a statement from spokeswoman Abigail Collazo. Her statement did not specifically address the Panthers’ march, but instead attacked Kemp.

“Brian Kemp is the only candidate in this race who has posed for pictures with supporters wearing racist, hate-filled t-shirts and refused to denounce them, while Abrams continues to condemn any racist, anti-Semitic, or otherwise discriminatory words and actions,” Collazo said.

“Unlike Kemp, Abrams is a leader committed to running an inclusive campaign focused on bringing all Georgians together to find bold solutions on critical issues like health care, education, and the economy,” she continued.

At one point during the march, someone driving a vehicle stopped momentarily to speak to the Panthers.

One of the members can be heard saying afterward: “You need to march in your neighborhood. When we was (sic) in West Virginia, 99 percent crackers, stone cold crackers.”

Kemp’s campaign called on Abrams to immediately denounce the Black Panthers.

“It’s no surprise that militant Black Panthers are armed and patrolling the streets of Georgia for Stacey Abrams. The Black Panthers are a radical hate group with a racist and anti-semitic agenda. They are dangerous and encourage violence against our men and women in uniform,” Kemp spokesman Ryan Mahoney said in a statement to TheDCNF.

“Stacey Abrams should immediately denounce the Black Panthers and their hateful record of racism,” he continued. “She should stand against and condemn their attempts to intimidate hardworking Georgia voters just days before the election.”

The close race has brought star power from both sides of the aisle. Vice President Mike Pence campaigned for Kemp on Thursday — the same day Oprah Winfrey knocked on doors on behalf of Abrams.

The Panthers did not respond to a request for comment by TheDCNF.

QUESTION: Would ‘Loyal Giuliani’ Make A BETTER Sec of State Than ‘Traitor Romney?’

It’s like Fantasy football for political junkies. The latest matchup is for the Secretary of State position. And people are making their picks.

Newt Gingrich prefers Rudy Giuliani to Mitt Romney as a potential secretary of state, the former House Speaker said on Monday. Gingrich, emerging from a meeting with the president-elect at Trump Tower, told reporters he would support whoever Trump picked, but declared: “I think there are huge advantages to Rudy Giuliani.”

“Frankly, I think that if you want someone who is going to go out and be a very tough negotiator for America and represent American interest in the way that Trump campaigned, I think that probably Rudy is a better pick and has the right temperament,” he elaborated, according to a pool report of his remarks.

Gingrich suggested that it isn’t clear Romney was “willing to be [Trump’s] secretary of state,” and asked whether Romney “would work to make Trump Romney’s version of the presidency.”no-more-rinos

“I think they’ve got to talk it through,” he added. Romney is under “active consideration” to be Trump’s top diplomat, according to comments made by Vice President-elect Mike Pence over the weekend…

…As for Giuliani, Gingrich said, “We’re going to need somebody who is a fighter,” because “the world is not going to change just because we show up and say ‘please.’ If that was going to work, Secretary Kerry would be successful.”

What do you think?

Reward those who have stayed loyal? Or leave aside the infighting and pick someone whatever he said in the Primaries? (You might remember some of the trash-talk Romney made while being one of the leading #NeverTrumpers. It was ugly.)

On this question, what should take the priority? Building party unity so we can all be on the same page in crushing the Democrat’s ‘transformation’ of America? Or are we making an example of someone who made an ass of himself and the party in the Primaries?

Clinton Foundation Spent 5.7% on Charity; Rest Went to “Salaries” and “Other Expenses”

charity

Back when the news first broke about the pay-to-play corruption involving then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation – where donors to the foundation were granted political access, including lavish White House State dinners – the Clinton campaign responded by focusing on all the supposed “good” that the foundation has done over the years.

I don’t think anyone was fooled into thinking that the Clinton Foundation was anything other than a money-making machine for the Clinton family and their well-connected friends. The foundation had to at least have the appearance of being a charity, so they had to divert some of their resources to causes. That way, they could always point to those grants as evidence that they’re an organization for good.

The Daily Caller reported that only 5.7 percent of the money they raked in went to actual charity:doners

Just 5.7 percent of the Clinton Foundation’s massive 2014 budget actually went to charitable grants, according to the tax-exempt organization’s IRS filings. The rest went to salaries and employee benefits, fundraising and “other expenses.”

The Clinton Foundation spent a hair under $91.3 million in 2014, the organization’s IRS filings show. But less than $5.2 million of that went to charitable grants.picture1

That number pales in comparison to the $34.8 million the foundation spent on salaries, compensation and employee benefits.

Another $50.4 million was marked as “other expenses,” while the remaining almost $851K was marked as “professional fundraising expenses.”Hillary tryant

Despite taking in an additional $30 million in 2014, the Clinton Foundation spent 40 percent less on charitable grants in 2014 than in 2013. Even as it slashed charitable spending, the foundation increased the amount spent on salaries, employee benefits and compensation by $5 million in 2014. The foundation also spent $5 million more “other expenses” in 2014.

Sometimes, things are exactly as they appear. This was nothing more than a way for the Clintons to make massive amounts of money. And Hillary used her position as Secretary of State to pull money from rich people in exchange for political favors.

Clinton Staffer Turns On Hillary… Reveals STUNNING Email Error That Could Totally Sink Her

waving flagBy: John Falkenberg on June 25, 2016

UnderWater-600-LIThe Clinton campaign has now admitted that the former secretary of state did not turn over to the State Department quite all of her work-related emails.

While that may not serve as a surprise, one email in particular was particularly interesting — an email to her aide Huma Abedin, which the Daily Caller calls “cryptic.”

Her campaign spokesman, Brian Fallon, told Associated Press that “Secretary Clinton had some emails with Huma that Huma did not have, and Huma had some emails with Secretary Clinton that Secretary Clinton did not have.” In one of these emails, Abedin asked Clinton if she wanted to move to a state.gov email account, and while she’s open to it, she’s concerned about leaks.

“I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible,” Clinton wrote in a now widely reported email.lying so long

That November, 2010, email was used in the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General’s condemnation of the former secretary’s security and record-keeping practices. Although it is possible that Clinton failed to turn over the email by accident, it is unlikely. And it’s not the only one.

“There are instances, and they’re identified in the OIG report, where people are aware of emails that involved her that she did not turn over,” said a State Department official.

You don’t say.

State Department spokesman John Kirby said: “While this exchange was not part of the approximately 55,000 pages provided to the State Department by former Secretary Clinton, the exchange was included within the set of documents Ms. Abedin provided the department in response to our March 2015 request.”

But given that Clinton was legally obligated to turn over copies of all work-related email to the State Department upon her departure, why has it taken so long for this information to come forth?

Lynch indicates DOJ not required to charge Clinton

FOR PRISONAttorney General Loretta Lynch indicated Wednesday that the law doesn’t require the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email system, even if the FBI recommends criminal charges.

Lynch was asked in a hearing by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, what her department would do if the FBI were to recommend that step. “If the FBI were to make a referral to the Department of Justice to pursue a case by way of indictment and to convene a grand jury for that purpose, the Department of Justice is not required by law to do so, are they — are you?” Cornyn asked.

Lynch didn’t answer directly, but seemed to indicate the department has some wiggle room, and can consult with officials before deciding what to do.

“It would not be an operation of law, it would be an operation of procedures,” Lynch said in reply. She added that the decision to pursue a criminal case would be “done in conjunction with the agents” involved in the investigation. “It’s not something that we would want to cut them out of the process.”More Liberal Gibberish

Republicans have been pushing for charges against Clinton, but at the same time, many have predicted that the Obama administration would never allow the Justice Department to bring charges against Clinton for including classified and top secret information on her personal emails. Some Republican presidential candidates, including Donald Trump, have said Clinton is desperately hoping to win the White House in order to avoid the criminal charges that could be brought under a Republican administration.

Lynch also dodged questions about the decision to grant immunity to a former staffer of Hillary Clinton at the State Department who helped her set up her own private email system at home.

Cornyn pressed Lynch on the Justice Department’s role in reportedly granting immunity to Bryan Pagliano, a former Clinton staffer involved in the set-up of her “homebrew” email server.

“If in fact this was immunity granted by a court, that had to be done under the auspices and with the approval of the Department of Justice, which you head,” Cornyn said to Lynch.

But Lynch declined to talk about that part of the case.

“We don’t discuss the specifics of any ongoing investigation,” Lynch said. “With respect to the procedure relating to any specific witness, I would not be able to comment.”

“With respect to Mr. Pagliano or anyone who has been identified as a potential witness in any case, I’m not able to comment on the specifics,” Lynch added.Picture1

Later on in response to a question from Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Lynch said she has never discussed the Clinton email investigation with Present Obama, spokesman Josh Earnest or anyone else at the White House. Graham asked that question in order to ask how Earnest would have any information about the case that he would use to downplay its importance.

“It’s my hope, when it comes to ongoing investigations, that we all would stay silent,” she said.REALLY

Hillary Clinton’s 5 Biggest Lies in Her Benghazi Testimony

waving flagby Ben Shapiro 22 October 2015

Vice President Joe Biden’s announcement on Wednesday that he would not run for president of the United States made it a foregone conclusion that the media would worship at the shrine of Hillary Clinton during her Benghazi testimony on Thursday.

They have no other choice. The precious must be protected at all costs, which means covering up for her lies, her calculated obfuscations, and her charmless faux-gravity. Already the narrative has been set: Hillary Clinton was a victim of a political Benghazi committee dedicated to her destruction. Every Congressional committee in history has entailed some political motivation—would anyone argue that the Watergate investigations were completely apolitical?—but the media myopically focused on the idiotic comments of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) before Hillary’s testimony, crafting the story of her victimization before it had even taken place.

Hillary, as always, is the poor, put-upon victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy.

  • She set up a private email server and deleted relevant emails from it for purely political reasons;
  • she pressed for a pointless invasion of Libya for political reasons,
  • chortled at its conquest for political reasons,
  • watched it descend into chaos while doing nothing for political reasons,
  • and then allowed her ambassador to twist in the Libyan tornado without proper security for political reasons;
  • finally, she covered up that disaster by lying about its causes for political reasons. But those who ask questions about such matters are partisan politicians.Hillary_Clinton_Booksigning_Benghazi

As Charles Krauthammer rightly observed on Thursday evening, “We’re not going to get the facts, we’re not going to get the real story underlying it. We’re living in an age where what you say and its relation with the facts is completely irrelevant.”

But after 11 hours of lying—which is only slightly longer than the hours Hillary and her boss’ administration did virtually nothing as Americans died under fire in Benghazi—we may as well examine Hillary’s most important lies.hillary-prison-or-potus

Hillary Cared Deeply About the Human Cost.

Is Hillary to blameHillary kept claiming that she cared deeply about her good friend Chris Stevens. At one point, she whipped out her pre-planned righteous indignation to complain, “I would imagine I’ve thought more about what happened than all of you put together. I’ve lost more sleep than all of you put together.” This was salt in the wound, the equivalent of Johnny Cochrane lamenting his worries over the fate of Nicole Brown Simpson.

Hillary admitted in her testimony on Thursday that her good friend Chris Stevens did not have her private email address, and that she could recall no conversations with him after he became ambassador to Libya. The night of his death, she wrote an email with the subject line: “Chris Smith,” conflating his death with that of diplomat Sean Smith. She didn’t bother speaking with survivors of the attacks until days later.

As to the notion that Hillary lost sleep, she apparently didn’t the night of the attack—she went home instead of sticking around at the State Department or heading over to the White House, because, she said, she had to prepare for what would be a rough rest of the week. She didn’t talk to then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey. We do know that she spent the night alone, a fact which led her to chortle. Hillary may have lost sleep over her failures later—clearly, she spent some time coming up with lies about a YouTube video.Laughing-H-600-LI

Hillary Thought The Attacks Had Something to Do With a YouTube Video.

Hillary maintained on Thursday that she believed the attack still had something to do with the YouTube video, “The Innocence of Muslims.” But the night of the attack, she emailed Chelsea Clinton and told her that an al-Qaeda-like group had killed the ambassador. As Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said to Clinton, “You tell the American people one thing. You tell your family an entirely different story.”Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

In fact, Hillary told the Egyptian Prime Minister the day after the attacks, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack. Not a protest.” Hillary tried to state that she had actually told people that some people were pinning the attack on the video, but she herself pinned the attacks on the YouTube video in videos released in Pakistan. She lied, because it was obvious that she had failed in her central duty to protect her diplomats in the most dangerous part of the world—a part of the world she had made more dangerous with her favorite invasion.clinton-obama-benghazi

Hillary Didn’t Use Sidney Blumenthal As an Advisor.

Hillary Clinton had reams of email exchanges with hitman Sidney Blumenthal. Blumenthal had been banned from the Obama administration for his corruption and Clintonian loyalties. Hillary said that the emails were unsolicited.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) shot that idiocy down easily: “You wrote to him, ‘Thanks and please keep them coming,’ ‘Greetings from Kabul and thanks for keeping this stuff coming, any other info about it?’ ‘What are you hearing now?’” Hillary then tried to amend her statement by saying they began as unsolicited emails. Hillary used Blumenthal as an advisor, and she routinely corresponded with him. Any implication to the contrary is absolutely false.Further from the truth

Hillary Was Transparent About Her Emails.

Hillary insisted again on Thursday that she’d been fully transparent about her emails. Even the State Department has rejected that nonsense repeatedly. The hearings did provide some perspective into just why Hillary might have deleted 30,000 emails, however, she claimed that her correspondence about Libya, which dropped dramatically from 2011 to 2012, was not because she cared less about the country—it was because she had people shuttling documents to her in suitcases. In fact, she said, she didn’t even have a computer in her office. A State Department email address could have confirmed whether any of that was true. Now we will presumably never know.Like I Said

Chris Stevens Was Responsible for His Own Death.

Benghazi RemebrenceThe most despicable lie of the day came from Hillary’s defense of her own conduct via ripping Chris Stevens, the dead ambassador. She spent virtually the entire day suggesting that Stevens knew the risks of his job, that he accepted those risks, and that he died knowing those risks. She even said that Stevens “felt comfortable” on the ground. If that is true, it’s certainly odd that the State Department team in Libya asked for more security over 600 times. Hillary said she didn’t receive any of those requests and blamed her security team for not granting more security—all the while saying she took responsibility for what had happened.lying so long

Then, the capper: Hillary said that when Stevens wrote an email asking about whether the Benghazi compound would be closed, he was just being a sly jokester. She said, “One of the great attributes that Chris Stevens had was a really good sense of humor, and I just see him smiling as he’s typing this because it’s clearly in response to the email down below talking about picking up a few ‘fire sale items from the Brits.’” When told that those “fire sale items” were security barricades, Hillary answered, “Well, I thought it showed their entrepreneurial spirit.” Disgusting.

Hillary Clinton was largely responsible for a pointless invasion of Libya, which promptly turned into a terrorist-run hellhole. She was responsible for the security of her diplomats in Libya, but she didn’t provide for it. She had no correspondence with those diplomats on the ground but plenty of time for Sidney Blumenthal. When those diplomats and those who ran to help them were killed, she blamed a YouTube video. And finally, she used her jerry-rigged email server to selectively edit the material the public would see.hillary-prison-or-potus

Clinton ObamaBut don’t worry—Hillary’s the victim. Republicans are the perpetrators. And Chris Stevens is just one more bump in the road on her journey to the White House.Constancy

Come laugh with us: Dems name Hillary’s best accomplishments

waving flagBy Ed Straker / September 19, 2015

Politico, for once, said it best:

If you want to stump a Democrat, ask them to name an accomplishment of Hillary Clinton,” Carly Fiorina quipped at Wednesday’s Republican debate. The line got hearty applause—but it also cut to the core of one of the defining lines of attacks against the former first lady and Democratic presidential frontrunner. After nearly forty years in public life, what exactly has she accomplished.

It’s a question that even, at times, has tripped up Clinton herself: During her 2014 book tour, when ABC’s Diane Sawyer asked her about her “marquee achievement,” Clinton changed the subject and she fumbled over a similar question during a women’s forum in Manhattan last year. “I see my role as secretary—in fact leadership in general in a democracy—as a relay race. You run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished,” she told Thomas Friedman.

The question Fiorina posed has also tripped up members of the Obama administration. When State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked last year to “identify one tangible achievement” accomplished through one of Hillary Clinton’s key projects as Secretary of State—the first-ever audit of the department—Psaki punted, “I am certain that those who were here at the time, who worked hard on that effort, could point out one.”

Hillary’s supporters have been stumped too. When Bloomberg Politics’ Mark Halperin asked a focus group of Iowans this summer about Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments, one Democratic supporter said, “I honestly can’t say I followed along [with] everything that was going on.”

So is Fiorina right? Are Democrats really unable to defend Clinton’s record on the merits? To find out, Politico Magazine on Thursday asked the nation’s top Democratic leaders and thinkers to name Hillary Clinton’s biggest accomplishment.

And here are their funniest responses:

1) Her role in killing Osama bin Laden.  (Her role?  Was she in that chopper that took sniper fire?  Or was she the one who cold-tapped him?)

2) The sanctions that brought Iran to the table.  (And now laughing to the bank.)

3) She empowered women in the 112 countries she visited.  (Did that stop one woman from suffering genital mutilation, or one woman from being beaten by her husband, or one woman from being whipped for walking around outside without a male relative?)

4) She worked to create jobs at the Center for Bioinformatics at the University of Buffalo.  (This is her signature accomplishment.  She will be known as the Bioinformatics president.)

5) Renewing diplomatic relations with Myanmar.  (Shouldn’t her greatest accomplishment be locatable on a map?)

6) Winning the U.N. resolution supporting military intervention in Libya.  (They want to talk about Libya?  Really?)

7) Helped Haiti recover from an earthquake.  (Sure.  Go to Haiti now.  It has gleaming skyscrapers just like Singapore, and Hillary built them all.)

8) She was the point person in Copenhagen in compelling the Chinese to commit to cutting carbon emissions.  (David Axelrod said this, but I am not sure if he was joking.  The Chinese have not actually cut a thing.  And even if they did, it would be in service to solving an imaginary problem.)

9) As first lady, Hillary was the point person in the Clinton administration on the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997.  (It’s not encouraging when they have to reach back to her “married to the president” job to find something.)

10) Hillary Clinton defined and tried consistently to implement a “smart power” diplomacy.  (So how exactly did that work out?)

11) The world is safer and people are more free thanks to Hillary Clinton.  (People in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Russia, China, Israel, and of course the United States would surely agree.)

I think Hillary could give any of these ridiculous answers with a straight face.  The only question is whether we are going to get a nominee who will to call her on it (like Trump), or a nominee who will hang his head guiltily for even asking the question (like Bush).
