Armed with Assault Rifles, Black Panthers March for Stacey Abrams

Reported By Jason Hopkins | November 4, 2018 at 10:11am

Members of the Black Panther Party marched through the city of Atlanta, strapped with assault rifles and brandishing Stacey Abrams campaign signs. In a video posted on the group’s Facebook page on Saturday, members of the Black Panther Party are seen marching through the West End neighborhood of Atlanta in support of Stacey Abrams gubernatorial campaign. As they marched, the Black Panthers carried assault rifles and continually shouted slogans such as “black power” and “power to the people.”

The video shows the panthers marching for nearly 30 minutes through the city of Atlanta until they enter a local radio station.

When reached for comment by The Daily Caller News Foundation, the Abrams campaign forwarded a statement from spokeswoman Abigail Collazo. Her statement did not specifically address the Panthers’ march, but instead attacked Kemp.

“Brian Kemp is the only candidate in this race who has posed for pictures with supporters wearing racist, hate-filled t-shirts and refused to denounce them, while Abrams continues to condemn any racist, anti-Semitic, or otherwise discriminatory words and actions,” Collazo said.

“Unlike Kemp, Abrams is a leader committed to running an inclusive campaign focused on bringing all Georgians together to find bold solutions on critical issues like health care, education, and the economy,” she continued.

At one point during the march, someone driving a vehicle stopped momentarily to speak to the Panthers.

One of the members can be heard saying afterward: “You need to march in your neighborhood. When we was (sic) in West Virginia, 99 percent crackers, stone cold crackers.”

Kemp’s campaign called on Abrams to immediately denounce the Black Panthers.

“It’s no surprise that militant Black Panthers are armed and patrolling the streets of Georgia for Stacey Abrams. The Black Panthers are a radical hate group with a racist and anti-semitic agenda. They are dangerous and encourage violence against our men and women in uniform,” Kemp spokesman Ryan Mahoney said in a statement to TheDCNF.

“Stacey Abrams should immediately denounce the Black Panthers and their hateful record of racism,” he continued. “She should stand against and condemn their attempts to intimidate hardworking Georgia voters just days before the election.”

The close race has brought star power from both sides of the aisle. Vice President Mike Pence campaigned for Kemp on Thursday — the same day Oprah Winfrey knocked on doors on behalf of Abrams.

The Panthers did not respond to a request for comment by TheDCNF.

QUESTION: Would ‘Loyal Giuliani’ Make A BETTER Sec of State Than ‘Traitor Romney?’

It’s like Fantasy football for political junkies. The latest matchup is for the Secretary of State position. And people are making their picks.

Newt Gingrich prefers Rudy Giuliani to Mitt Romney as a potential secretary of state, the former House Speaker said on Monday. Gingrich, emerging from a meeting with the president-elect at Trump Tower, told reporters he would support whoever Trump picked, but declared: “I think there are huge advantages to Rudy Giuliani.”

“Frankly, I think that if you want someone who is going to go out and be a very tough negotiator for America and represent American interest in the way that Trump campaigned, I think that probably Rudy is a better pick and has the right temperament,” he elaborated, according to a pool report of his remarks.

Gingrich suggested that it isn’t clear Romney was “willing to be [Trump’s] secretary of state,” and asked whether Romney “would work to make Trump Romney’s version of the presidency.”no-more-rinos

“I think they’ve got to talk it through,” he added. Romney is under “active consideration” to be Trump’s top diplomat, according to comments made by Vice President-elect Mike Pence over the weekend…

…As for Giuliani, Gingrich said, “We’re going to need somebody who is a fighter,” because “the world is not going to change just because we show up and say ‘please.’ If that was going to work, Secretary Kerry would be successful.”

What do you think?

Reward those who have stayed loyal? Or leave aside the infighting and pick someone whatever he said in the Primaries? (You might remember some of the trash-talk Romney made while being one of the leading #NeverTrumpers. It was ugly.)

On this question, what should take the priority? Building party unity so we can all be on the same page in crushing the Democrat’s ‘transformation’ of America? Or are we making an example of someone who made an ass of himself and the party in the Primaries?

Clinton Foundation Spent 5.7% on Charity; Rest Went to “Salaries” and “Other Expenses”

charity

Back when the news first broke about the pay-to-play corruption involving then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation – where donors to the foundation were granted political access, including lavish White House State dinners – the Clinton campaign responded by focusing on all the supposed “good” that the foundation has done over the years.

I don’t think anyone was fooled into thinking that the Clinton Foundation was anything other than a money-making machine for the Clinton family and their well-connected friends. The foundation had to at least have the appearance of being a charity, so they had to divert some of their resources to causes. That way, they could always point to those grants as evidence that they’re an organization for good.

The Daily Caller reported that only 5.7 percent of the money they raked in went to actual charity:doners

Just 5.7 percent of the Clinton Foundation’s massive 2014 budget actually went to charitable grants, according to the tax-exempt organization’s IRS filings. The rest went to salaries and employee benefits, fundraising and “other expenses.”

The Clinton Foundation spent a hair under $91.3 million in 2014, the organization’s IRS filings show. But less than $5.2 million of that went to charitable grants.picture1

That number pales in comparison to the $34.8 million the foundation spent on salaries, compensation and employee benefits.

Another $50.4 million was marked as “other expenses,” while the remaining almost $851K was marked as “professional fundraising expenses.”Hillary tryant

Despite taking in an additional $30 million in 2014, the Clinton Foundation spent 40 percent less on charitable grants in 2014 than in 2013. Even as it slashed charitable spending, the foundation increased the amount spent on salaries, employee benefits and compensation by $5 million in 2014. The foundation also spent $5 million more “other expenses” in 2014.

Sometimes, things are exactly as they appear. This was nothing more than a way for the Clintons to make massive amounts of money. And Hillary used her position as Secretary of State to pull money from rich people in exchange for political favors.

Clinton Staffer Turns On Hillary… Reveals STUNNING Email Error That Could Totally Sink Her

waving flagBy: John Falkenberg on June 25, 2016

UnderWater-600-LIThe Clinton campaign has now admitted that the former secretary of state did not turn over to the State Department quite all of her work-related emails.

While that may not serve as a surprise, one email in particular was particularly interesting — an email to her aide Huma Abedin, which the Daily Caller calls “cryptic.”

Her campaign spokesman, Brian Fallon, told Associated Press that “Secretary Clinton had some emails with Huma that Huma did not have, and Huma had some emails with Secretary Clinton that Secretary Clinton did not have.” In one of these emails, Abedin asked Clinton if she wanted to move to a state.gov email account, and while she’s open to it, she’s concerned about leaks.

“I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible,” Clinton wrote in a now widely reported email.lying so long

That November, 2010, email was used in the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General’s condemnation of the former secretary’s security and record-keeping practices. Although it is possible that Clinton failed to turn over the email by accident, it is unlikely. And it’s not the only one.

“There are instances, and they’re identified in the OIG report, where people are aware of emails that involved her that she did not turn over,” said a State Department official.

You don’t say.

State Department spokesman John Kirby said: “While this exchange was not part of the approximately 55,000 pages provided to the State Department by former Secretary Clinton, the exchange was included within the set of documents Ms. Abedin provided the department in response to our March 2015 request.”

But given that Clinton was legally obligated to turn over copies of all work-related email to the State Department upon her departure, why has it taken so long for this information to come forth?

Lynch indicates DOJ not required to charge Clinton

waving flagBy Kelly Cohen (@politicohen_) 3/9/16; Kelly Cohen Staff Writer The Washington

FOR PRISONAttorney General Loretta Lynch indicated Wednesday that the law doesn’t require the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email system, even if the FBI recommends criminal charges.

Lynch was asked in a hearing by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, what her department would do if the FBI were to recommend that step. “If the FBI were to make a referral to the Department of Justice to pursue a case by way of indictment and to convene a grand jury for that purpose, the Department of Justice is not required by law to do so, are they — are you?” Cornyn asked.

Lynch didn’t answer directly, but seemed to indicate the department has some wiggle room, and can consult with officials before deciding what to do.

“It would not be an operation of law, it would be an operation of procedures,” Lynch said in reply. She added that the decision to pursue a criminal case would be “done in conjunction with the agents” involved in the investigation. “It’s not something that we would want to cut them out of the process.”More Liberal Gibberish

Republicans have been pushing for charges against Clinton, but at the same time, many have predicted that the Obama administration would never allow the Justice Department to bring charges against Clinton for including classified and top secret information on her personal emails. Some Republican presidential candidates, including Donald Trump, have said Clinton is desperately hoping to win the White House in order to avoid the criminal charges that could be brought under a Republican administration.

Lynch also dodged questions about the decision to grant immunity to a former staffer of Hillary Clinton at the State Department who helped her set up her own private email system at home.

Cornyn pressed Lynch on the Justice Department’s role in reportedly granting immunity to Bryan Pagliano, a former Clinton staffer involved in the set-up of her “homebrew” email server.

“If in fact this was immunity granted by a court, that had to be done under the auspices and with the approval of the Department of Justice, which you head,” Cornyn said to Lynch.

But Lynch declined to talk about that part of the case.

“We don’t discuss the specifics of any ongoing investigation,” Lynch said. “With respect to the procedure relating to any specific witness, I would not be able to comment.”

“With respect to Mr. Pagliano or anyone who has been identified as a potential witness in any case, I’m not able to comment on the specifics,” Lynch added.Picture1

Later on in response to a question from Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Lynch said she has never discussed the Clinton email investigation with Present Obama, spokesman Josh Earnest or anyone else at the White House. Graham asked that question in order to ask how Earnest would have any information about the case that he would use to downplay its importance.

“It’s my hope, when it comes to ongoing investigations, that we all would stay silent,” she said.REALLY

Hillary Clinton’s 5 Biggest Lies in Her Benghazi Testimony

waving flagby Ben Shapiro 22 October 2015

Vice President Joe Biden’s announcement on Wednesday that he would not run for president of the United States made it a foregone conclusion that the media would worship at the shrine of Hillary Clinton during her Benghazi testimony on Thursday.

They have no other choice. The precious must be protected at all costs, which means covering up for her lies, her calculated obfuscations, and her charmless faux-gravity. Already the narrative has been set: Hillary Clinton was a victim of a political Benghazi committee dedicated to her destruction. Every Congressional committee in history has entailed some political motivation—would anyone argue that the Watergate investigations were completely apolitical?—but the media myopically focused on the idiotic comments of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) before Hillary’s testimony, crafting the story of her victimization before it had even taken place.

Hillary, as always, is the poor, put-upon victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy.

  • She set up a private email server and deleted relevant emails from it for purely political reasons;
  • she pressed for a pointless invasion of Libya for political reasons,
  • chortled at its conquest for political reasons,
  • watched it descend into chaos while doing nothing for political reasons,
  • and then allowed her ambassador to twist in the Libyan tornado without proper security for political reasons;
  • finally, she covered up that disaster by lying about its causes for political reasons. But those who ask questions about such matters are partisan politicians.Hillary_Clinton_Booksigning_Benghazi

As Charles Krauthammer rightly observed on Thursday evening, “We’re not going to get the facts, we’re not going to get the real story underlying it. We’re living in an age where what you say and its relation with the facts is completely irrelevant.”

But after 11 hours of lying—which is only slightly longer than the hours Hillary and her boss’ administration did virtually nothing as Americans died under fire in Benghazi—we may as well examine Hillary’s most important lies.hillary-prison-or-potus

Hillary Cared Deeply About the Human Cost.

Is Hillary to blameHillary kept claiming that she cared deeply about her good friend Chris Stevens. At one point, she whipped out her pre-planned righteous indignation to complain, “I would imagine I’ve thought more about what happened than all of you put together. I’ve lost more sleep than all of you put together.” This was salt in the wound, the equivalent of Johnny Cochrane lamenting his worries over the fate of Nicole Brown Simpson.

Hillary admitted in her testimony on Thursday that her good friend Chris Stevens did not have her private email address, and that she could recall no conversations with him after he became ambassador to Libya. The night of his death, she wrote an email with the subject line: “Chris Smith,” conflating his death with that of diplomat Sean Smith. She didn’t bother speaking with survivors of the attacks until days later.

As to the notion that Hillary lost sleep, she apparently didn’t the night of the attack—she went home instead of sticking around at the State Department or heading over to the White House, because, she said, she had to prepare for what would be a rough rest of the week. She didn’t talk to then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey. We do know that she spent the night alone, a fact which led her to chortle. Hillary may have lost sleep over her failures later—clearly, she spent some time coming up with lies about a YouTube video.Laughing-H-600-LI

Hillary Thought The Attacks Had Something to Do With a YouTube Video.

Hillary maintained on Thursday that she believed the attack still had something to do with the YouTube video, “The Innocence of Muslims.” But the night of the attack, she emailed Chelsea Clinton and told her that an al-Qaeda-like group had killed the ambassador. As Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said to Clinton, “You tell the American people one thing. You tell your family an entirely different story.”Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

In fact, Hillary told the Egyptian Prime Minister the day after the attacks, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack. Not a protest.” Hillary tried to state that she had actually told people that some people were pinning the attack on the video, but she herself pinned the attacks on the YouTube video in videos released in Pakistan. She lied, because it was obvious that she had failed in her central duty to protect her diplomats in the most dangerous part of the world—a part of the world she had made more dangerous with her favorite invasion.clinton-obama-benghazi

Hillary Didn’t Use Sidney Blumenthal As an Advisor.

Hillary Clinton had reams of email exchanges with hitman Sidney Blumenthal. Blumenthal had been banned from the Obama administration for his corruption and Clintonian loyalties. Hillary said that the emails were unsolicited.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) shot that idiocy down easily: “You wrote to him, ‘Thanks and please keep them coming,’ ‘Greetings from Kabul and thanks for keeping this stuff coming, any other info about it?’ ‘What are you hearing now?’” Hillary then tried to amend her statement by saying they began as unsolicited emails. Hillary used Blumenthal as an advisor, and she routinely corresponded with him. Any implication to the contrary is absolutely false.Further from the truth

Hillary Was Transparent About Her Emails.

Hillary insisted again on Thursday that she’d been fully transparent about her emails. Even the State Department has rejected that nonsense repeatedly. The hearings did provide some perspective into just why Hillary might have deleted 30,000 emails, however, she claimed that her correspondence about Libya, which dropped dramatically from 2011 to 2012, was not because she cared less about the country—it was because she had people shuttling documents to her in suitcases. In fact, she said, she didn’t even have a computer in her office. A State Department email address could have confirmed whether any of that was true. Now we will presumably never know.Like I Said

Chris Stevens Was Responsible for His Own Death.

Benghazi RemebrenceThe most despicable lie of the day came from Hillary’s defense of her own conduct via ripping Chris Stevens, the dead ambassador. She spent virtually the entire day suggesting that Stevens knew the risks of his job, that he accepted those risks, and that he died knowing those risks. She even said that Stevens “felt comfortable” on the ground. If that is true, it’s certainly odd that the State Department team in Libya asked for more security over 600 times. Hillary said she didn’t receive any of those requests and blamed her security team for not granting more security—all the while saying she took responsibility for what had happened.lying so long

Then, the capper: Hillary said that when Stevens wrote an email asking about whether the Benghazi compound would be closed, he was just being a sly jokester. She said, “One of the great attributes that Chris Stevens had was a really good sense of humor, and I just see him smiling as he’s typing this because it’s clearly in response to the email down below talking about picking up a few ‘fire sale items from the Brits.’” When told that those “fire sale items” were security barricades, Hillary answered, “Well, I thought it showed their entrepreneurial spirit.” Disgusting.

Hillary Clinton was largely responsible for a pointless invasion of Libya, which promptly turned into a terrorist-run hellhole. She was responsible for the security of her diplomats in Libya, but she didn’t provide for it. She had no correspondence with those diplomats on the ground but plenty of time for Sidney Blumenthal. When those diplomats and those who ran to help them were killed, she blamed a YouTube video. And finally, she used her jerry-rigged email server to selectively edit the material the public would see.hillary-prison-or-potus

Clinton ObamaBut don’t worry—Hillary’s the victim. Republicans are the perpetrators. And Chris Stevens is just one more bump in the road on her journey to the White House.Constancy

Come laugh with us: Dems name Hillary’s best accomplishments

waving flagBy Ed Straker / September 19, 2015

Politico, for once, said it best:

If you want to stump a Democrat, ask them to name an accomplishment of Hillary Clinton,” Carly Fiorina quipped at Wednesday’s Republican debate. The line got hearty applause—but it also cut to the core of one of the defining lines of attacks against the former first lady and Democratic presidential frontrunner. After nearly forty years in public life, what exactly has she accomplished.

It’s a question that even, at times, has tripped up Clinton herself: During her 2014 book tour, when ABC’s Diane Sawyer asked her about her “marquee achievement,” Clinton changed the subject and she fumbled over a similar question during a women’s forum in Manhattan last year. “I see my role as secretary—in fact leadership in general in a democracy—as a relay race. You run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished,” she told Thomas Friedman.

The question Fiorina posed has also tripped up members of the Obama administration. When State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked last year to “identify one tangible achievement” accomplished through one of Hillary Clinton’s key projects as Secretary of State—the first-ever audit of the department—Psaki punted, “I am certain that those who were here at the time, who worked hard on that effort, could point out one.”

Hillary’s supporters have been stumped too. When Bloomberg Politics’ Mark Halperin asked a focus group of Iowans this summer about Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments, one Democratic supporter said, “I honestly can’t say I followed along [with] everything that was going on.”

So is Fiorina right? Are Democrats really unable to defend Clinton’s record on the merits? To find out, Politico Magazine on Thursday asked the nation’s top Democratic leaders and thinkers to name Hillary Clinton’s biggest accomplishment.

And here are their funniest responses:

1) Her role in killing Osama bin Laden.  (Her role?  Was she in that chopper that took sniper fire?  Or was she the one who cold-tapped him?)

2) The sanctions that brought Iran to the table.  (And now laughing to the bank.)

3) She empowered women in the 112 countries she visited.  (Did that stop one woman from suffering genital mutilation, or one woman from being beaten by her husband, or one woman from being whipped for walking around outside without a male relative?)

4) She worked to create jobs at the Center for Bioinformatics at the University of Buffalo.  (This is her signature accomplishment.  She will be known as the Bioinformatics president.)

5) Renewing diplomatic relations with Myanmar.  (Shouldn’t her greatest accomplishment be locatable on a map?)

6) Winning the U.N. resolution supporting military intervention in Libya.  (They want to talk about Libya?  Really?)

7) Helped Haiti recover from an earthquake.  (Sure.  Go to Haiti now.  It has gleaming skyscrapers just like Singapore, and Hillary built them all.)

8) She was the point person in Copenhagen in compelling the Chinese to commit to cutting carbon emissions.  (David Axelrod said this, but I am not sure if he was joking.  The Chinese have not actually cut a thing.  And even if they did, it would be in service to solving an imaginary problem.)

9) As first lady, Hillary was the point person in the Clinton administration on the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997.  (It’s not encouraging when they have to reach back to her “married to the president” job to find something.)

10) Hillary Clinton defined and tried consistently to implement a “smart power” diplomacy.  (So how exactly did that work out?)

11) The world is safer and people are more free thanks to Hillary Clinton.  (People in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Russia, China, Israel, and of course the United States would surely agree.)

I think Hillary could give any of these ridiculous answers with a straight face.  The only question is whether we are going to get a nominee who will to call her on it (like Trump), or a nominee who will hang his head guiltily for even asking the question (like Bush).

Clinton confidant cuts ties with the formidable family

waving flagBy Isabel Vincent and Melissa Klein

Just weeks before Hillary Clinton kicked off her campaign for president on Roosevelt Island, a Clinton family loyalist quietly parted ways with the powerful clan. Doug Band, a man once so close to President Bill Clinton that he was considered a surrogate son, left the Clinton Foundation, where he had various board appointments, The Post has learned. Band declined to comment, except to confirm he resigned his position last month. The departure marks the end of a complicated relationship between Band’s controversial consultant corporation, Teneo, and the Clintons.

And while the Clinton Foundation has been under fire for allegedly trading millions of dollars in donations for access to Bill and Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state, Teneo’s role is less well-known. But Teneo played a part in what author Daniel Halper in his 2014 book “Clinton Inc.,” described as a vast money-making machine. “I think Teneo is not just emblematic of how Clinton Inc. works, it shows the political and financial mess that this whole thing has created,” Halper told The Post.

In a preview of the Clinton Foundation scandals that have dogged Hillary Clinton this year, The New Republic noted the suspicious nature of Band’s work in a 2013 article. “There’s an undertow of transactionalism in the glittering annual dinners, the fixation on celebrity and a certain contingent of donors whose charitable contributions and business interests occupy an uncomfortable proximity. More than anyone else except [Bill] Clinton himself, Band is responsible for creating this culture. And not only did he create it, he has thrived in it.”

Get Rich Quick

Now headquartered on the 45th floor of the Citigroup Center in Manhattan, and with offices around the world, Teneo — Latin for “to guide” — started more modestly in 2009 by business consultant Paul Keary.

Band and Declan Kelly, who had been US economic envoy to Northern Ireland in Hillary Clinton’s State Department, joined the firm in 2011, turning it into a global powerhouse.

Band is a 42-year-old Florida native who started his career at 22 as an intern in the Clinton White House. He earned a law degree, worked his way up at the White House, eventually becoming indispensable to the president as his aide or “body man.” Band was constantly by the president’s side, carrying bags and keeping Clinton on schedule.

When Clinton left office in 2001, Band reportedly turned down a job at Goldman Sachs and stuck with the former president as his personal assistant. Band became the gatekeeper for those wanting access to Clinton. The two were so close that Band was at Clinton’s bedside when he had heart bypass surgery in 2004. It was Band who, in 2005, came up with the idea for the Clinton Global Initiative, a yearly meeting of business bigwigs and heads of state in Manhattan.

Band was paid by Clinton and, once the Global Initiative was up and running, he drew a salary of $110,000 to head the group. But he was also paid an undisclosed extra amount of money by Clinton benefactor Ron Burkle, who sent checks to SGRD, Band’s Florida-based LLC, The Wall Street Journal reported. It was an attempt to keep Band on board with Clinton and not flee to a more lucrative position, the newspaper reported.

Band got rich quickly. By 2003, he bought a $2.1 million condo at the Metropolitan Tower on West 57th Street. He sold it in 2008 for $4.1 million and moved to the tony Essex House on Central Park South, where he still lives in a sprawling apartment.

Band married investment banker Lily Rafii in 2007. Clinton attended the wedding in a Paris chateau even though Band had asked him not to come. “Not only did he come, he made this incredible speech,” Band told a Florida newspaper in 2009.

Band traveled the world with Clinton, even accompanying him to North Korea in 2009 to secure the release of two journalists.

Band, in his bio on the Teneo website, says he was “part of the negotiation team that handled all aspects of Hillary Clinton’s becoming secretary of state.”

Clinton told The Washington Post in 2008, “I’m amazed he still works for me because he could make a lot more money somewhere else.”

‘Promise of Access’

In 2011, Band did branch out on his own, joining the fledgling Teneo and recruiting Bill Clinton to be a member of the advisory board. Clients paid staggering monthly retainers — up to $250,000 — to Band’s company. They were reportedly encouraged to give to the Clinton Foundation and, in turn, foundation donors were encouraged to use the services of Teneo. “The idea for Teneo was to have Fortune 400 companies pay large monthly stipends in exchange for access to Band, Clinton and their massive international network. The group would ‘consult’ with the companies, offer strategic advice and help them overcome issues in various countries across the globe,” Halper wrote in “Clinton Inc.”

But a former Teneo employee told Halper that what the clients really got was nothing, other than an “implicit promise of access to Clinton.”

In addition to Clinton, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former US Sen. George Mitchell and Ed Rollins, Ronald Reagan’s campaign manager, all came on board at Teneo.fishy

Clinton was the key to Teneo’s success. “The two needed the president,” a source told Halper. “It was he who they were selling to their corporate clients. Or, more precisely, it was their proximity to power — President Clinton, and his wife, who was then secretary of state — and their own Rolodexes, which were a natural extension of the work they had done over the years for the Clintons.” Clients included Bank of America, Dow Chemical, UBS Wealth Management and Coca-Cola.

In exchange, Bill Clinton was given a contract with Teneo worth $3.5 million, Halper said. It is unclear, however, how much Clinton was actually paid.

The Chelsea Problem

Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, also wanted to muscle in on the action and asked for an equity stake in the company, Halper reported. But Band refused, seeing too much of a potential conflict in doing business with the daughter of the secretary of state. There may have been some “sibling” rivalry between Band and Chelsea Clinton.

She wanted to be famous and rich and have a place to go’  – a source on Chelsea Clinton joining the Clinton Foundation

In 2008, Band told restaurant owner Nino Selimaj to take down Chelsea’s photo from the wall of Osso Buco saying the former first daughter was not a public figure, according to New York magazine. In the end, Bill Clinton’s tenure at Teneo was short-lived.

The Post reported in December 2011 that Teneo had been advising MF Global, the doomed international brokerage firm headed by former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine. The firm paid Teneo an eye-popping $125,000 a month as it was imploding and losing millions for its investors.

Although Clinton’s office insisted the former president was not profiting from the MF Global arrangement, Hillary Clinton was said to be furious over the controversy. By February 2012, Clinton stepped down from Teneo. Shortly before he severed ties with the company, Clinton reportedly started to resent how Band and his partner Declan Kelly threw his name around to inflate Teneo’s importance. In one reported instance, Kelly seemed to take public credit for getting Clinton invited to speak at an economic forum in Dublin. But the former president had actually been invited by the Irish prime minister and was said to explode in anger at the suggestion that Teneo had somehow brokered his participation at the event.

But the connection to the Clintons continued. In June 2012, Hillary Clinton’s senior aide Huma Abedin began working as a part-time consultant to Teneo during her final months at the State Department.

Abedin, the wife of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner, was designated a “special government employee,” which allowed her to both work for the State Department and to hold outside gigs. She also consulted for the Clinton Foundation and for Hillary Clinton.

The truth is people felt sorry for Huma’  – a source on why Huma Abedin was given a paid job with Teneo

Once the arrangement became known, there was criticism that there was overlap between a private firm and the inner workings of the State Department.

A source close to the negotiations told The Post that the deal came about as a way to help Abedin financially after her husband resigned in the wake of a sexting scandal in June 2011. “The truth is people felt sorry for Huma,” the source said. Asked if Abedin provided any inside intelligence about the State Department for Teneo, the source denied it. “People watch too much ‘House of Cards.’ ”Clinton Democrat Party

After Huma’s arrangement with Teneo came to light, Sen. Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, asked the Government Accountability Office to conduct a review of the special government employee exception.

New Business

While it’s not clear whether Band or Teneo will play a part in Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the company has continued to wield influence on a global scale without Bill Clinton on the board. Its website says its executives are involved in everything from sorting out issues around the Greek financial meltdown to working to leverage economic opportunities in Africa. It recently opened offices in the Far East and Brazil.

Tax filings show that Band was last paid by the Clinton Foundation in 2012, when he got $53,000. He remained linked to a European arm of the Clinton Foundation until stepping down last month.

A source told The Post that it became increasingly difficult for Clinton loyalists like Band to work with the Foundation after Chelsea Clinton was brought on board. “She wanted to be famous and rich and have a place to go,” said the source, adding that Chelsea was too inexperienced for the job. “It just didn’t make any sense.”Demorates

The Clinton Foundation’s business relationship with 20 foreign governments raises real questions about her judgment VIDEO

Among all the rivers of money that have flowed to the Clinton family, one seems to raise the biggest national security questions of all: the stream of cash that came from 20 foreign governments who relied on weapons export approvals from Hillary Clinton’s State Department.Enemy-Email-NRD-600

Federal law designates the secretary of state as “responsible for the continuous supervision and general direction of sales” of arms, military hardware and services to foreign countries. In practice, that meant that Clinton was charged with rejecting or approving weapons deals — and when it came to Clinton Foundation donors, Hillary Clinton’s State Department did a whole lot of approving. While Clinton was secretary of state, her department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to Clinton Foundation donors. That figure from Clinton’s three full fiscal years in office is almost double the value of arms sales to those countries during the same period of President George W. Bush’s second term.Picture2

The Clinton-led State Department also authorized $151 billion of separate Pentagon-brokered deals for 16 of the countries that gave to the Clinton Foundation. That was a 143 percent increase in completed sales to those nations over the same time frame during the Bush administration. The 143 percent increase in U.S. arms sales to Clinton Foundation donors compares to an 80 percent increase in such sales to all countries over the same time period. American military contractors and their affiliates that donated to the Clinton Foundation — and in some cases, helped finance speaking fees to Bill Clinton — also got in on the action. Those firms and their subsidiaries were listed as contractors in $163 billion worth of arms deals authorized by the Clinton State Department.Follow the Money

Under a directive signed by President Clinton in 1995, the State Department is supposed to take foreign governments’ human rights records into account when reviewing arms deals. Yet, Hillary Clinton’s State Department increased approvals of such deals to Clinton Foundation donors that her own agency was sharply criticizing for systematic human rights abuses. As just one of many examples, in its 2011 Human Rights Report, Clinton’s State Department slammed Algeria’s government for imposing “restrictions on freedom of assembly and association,” tolerating “arbitrary killing,” “widespread corruption” and a “lack of judicial independence.” That year, the Algerian government donated $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation and the next year Clinton’s State Department approved a one-year 70 percent increase in military export authorizations to the country. The jump included authorizations for almost 50,000 items classified as “toxicological agents, including chemical agents, biological agents and associated equipment.” The State Department had not authorized the export of any of such items to Algeria the year before.Clinton Family

During Hillary Clinton’s 2009 Senate confirmation hearings, Republican Sen. Richard Lugar said the Clinton Foundation should stop accepting foreign government money. He warned that if it didn’t, “foreign governments and entities may perceive the Clinton Foundation as a means to gain favor with the secretary of state.” The Clintons did not take his advice. Advocates for limits on the political influence of money now say that Lugar was prescient. “The word was out to these groups that one of the best ways to gain access and influence with the Clintons was to give to this foundation,” said Meredith McGehee, policy director at the Campaign Legal Center.Society

While these arms deals may seem like ancient history, Lawrence Lessig, the director of Harvard University’s Safra Center for Ethics, says they “raise a fundamental question of judgment” — one that is relevant to the 2016 presidential campaign. “Can it really be that the Clintons didn’t recognize the questions these transactions would raise?” he said. “And if they did, what does that say about their sense of the appropriate relationship between private gain and public good?”

The LEFT wants facts, but just THEIR facts!

waving flagBy Joe Messina – Apr 27, 2015

The news gods may be having a little change of heart. ABC, NBC, CBS, and, yes, even MSNBC have been asking questions and making comments about Hillary’s blatant disregard for the law and her failure to think things through when it comes to taking money from countries and questionable characters. Just when I thought the clouds were going to part and some sanity set in, in steps George Stephanopoulos, a very left-wing journalist, who, after speaking with the author of “Clinton Cash” basically said, “Move along nothing to see here.” His whole premise is that since we have no hard evidence that money changed hands for favors through the White House for the Clinton’s that all is well in OZ.

Well, Mr. Stephanopoulos, all is not well in OZ. And you, sir, are a MAJOR part of the problem. It used to be that journalists gave us all sides of the issue and allowed us to draw a conclusion. They didn’t decide what the truth was and then paint a picture that would lead us to their truth.

This same group of mainstream media people made many assumptions about George W Bush and had no problem accusing him while “misspeaking” their facts as truth.Picture2

HillaryCoverUp

Mr. Stephanopoulos is floored that anyone would draw any conclusion of wrongdoing starting with Mrs. Clinton’s email issue. She simply made a mistake and since the president knew about it, all is well! Really? Turn the tables and see what would have happened if it was done by a Republican.

Nothing “fishy” about Mr. Clinton getting on average $70,000 for speaking gigs before Hillary became Secretary of State. But after her appointment, all of a sudden he is worth $500,000 to $1.3 million per speaking gig. Did he take a speech writing class? Get better teleprompters? That’s not important. And no worries, most of those were events with some connection to donors.

In the immortal words of Yul Brynner in the “King and I”… “iz a puzzlement.”

Here’s a quick rundown…

  1. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, $25 million to the Clinton Foundation for the betterment of the Clintons.
  2. Australia, $10 million to the Clinton Foundation for the betterment of the Clintons.
  3. Sultanate of Oman, $5 million to the Clinton Foundation for the betterment of the Clintons.
  4. And the list goes on to the tune of $150 million to the Clinton Foundation for the betterment of the Clintons (CFFTBOTC).

Who else? What other legislator? What other past president? What other past legislator has received this kind of money from foreign entities? I’ll save you the time… NO ONE! Donations are made to Presidential Libraries for the purpose of upkeep and purchasing artifacts for the library, not the presidential families. But Georgie says you have nothing that actually ties to an agreement to provide services.

A uranium (shell) company donated big bucks to the CFFTBOTC. Shortly after the donation, coincidentally, Mrs. Clinton changed her mind about the U.S. blocking the uranium mining deal and even encouraged such deals in some of her speeches.

Then, there is the “re-filing” of past tax returns. Since it was brought to their attention that they forgot to include many, if not all, of the Canadian deal-based donations on their reports. Let’s pause here a minute. Hillary says she is a person of integrity and ethics. They have an elite team managing this foundation. How did they miss MILLIONS of dollars in donations with such an experienced team of employees at The Foundation? Not once, not twice, but 4 years in a row! Tax experts say it’s highly unusual for a foundation to refile this many years because of omissions.Party of Deciet and lies

Well, not to worry. Hillary stepped down from the foundation’s board of directors this month but her husband, Bill, and their daughter, Chelsea, remain directors. I’m sure she will keep and arm’s length (or at least a bedroom length) away from Bill and the foundation. After all, she has always been honest and up front with us on all issues. Right?

  • That whole, Benghazi debacle where she swears they never refused to send help. Oh wait… never mind!
  • OK, then there is the “I turned over all the correspondence and emails pertaining to Benghazi and my term as Secretary of State” thing. Oh, wait… never mind.
  • At least she only erased the emails that had to do with her daughter’s wedding, her aunt’s death, her yoga routines, and her personal transactions on the homes they purchased. Yup, all 33,000 of the personal emails. Oh, wait… never mind.
  • OK then, we’ll just track down the entities and people she probably sent emails to and ask them for them… guess what? The first dozen or so refused to share. Can you see my shocked face?

They’d have you believe that there is nothing to see here. Just step away from the curtain!Clinton Family

You on the left pitched a fit and wanted to see Romney’s tax return because Mr Reid lied about someone telling him Romney didn’t pay taxes. You hypocrites have no outrage over it because as Harry put it. You won!

This stench will continue to grow. She can’t keep lying to cover up all of these messes. And you honest Democrats out there (yes, there are honest ones) if you cover up for her (them) you are just as guilty of all the death and destruction they’ve left in their wake.

The REAL facts show that they are guilty of not caring for America, not caring for women, not caring for the poor or sick, but just caring for the Clintons. In Review OARLogo Picture6

AP Fact-Check: Hillary’s Email Excuses Don’t Hold Water

by Breitbart News 10 Mar 2015

URL of the Original Posting Site: http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2015/03/10/ap-fact-check-hillarys-email-excuses-dont-hold-water/

CLINTON: “Others had done it.”

THE FACTS: Although email practices varied among her predecessors, Clinton is the only secretary of state known to have conducted all official unclassified government business on a private email address. Years earlier, when emailing was not the ubiquitous practice it is now among high officials, Colin Powell used both a government and a private account. It’s a striking departure from the norm for top officials to rely exclusively on private email for official business.

CLINTON: “I fully complied with every rule I was governed by.”

THE FACTS: At the very least, Clinton appears to have violated what the White House has called “very specific guidance” that officials should use government email to conduct business.

Clinton provided no details about whether she had initially consulted with the department or other government officials before using the private email system. She did not answer several questions about whether she sought any clearances before she began relying exclusively on private emails for government business.

Federal officials are allowed to communicate on private email and are generally allowed to conduct government business in those exchanges, but that ability is constrained, both by federal regulations and by their supervisors.

Federal law during Clinton’s tenure called for the archiving of such private email records when used for government work, but did not set out clear rules or punishments for violations until rules were tightened in November. In 2011, when Clinton was secretary, a cable from her office sent to all employees advised them to avoid conducting any official business on their private email accounts because of targeting by unspecified “online adversaries.”

CLINTON: “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.”

THE FACTS: The assertion fits with the facts as known but skirts the issue of exchanging information in a private account that, while falling below the level of classified, is still sensitive.

The State Department and other national security agencies have specified rules for the handling of such sensitive material, which could affect national security, diplomatic and privacy concerns, and may include material such as personnel, medical and law enforcement data. In reviewing the 30,000 emails she turned over to the State Department, officials are looking for any security lapses concerning sensitive but unclassified material that may have been disclosed.

CLINTON: “It had numerous safeguards. It was on property guarded by the Secret Service. And there were no security breaches.”

THE FACTS: While Clinton’s server was physically guarded by the Secret Service, she provided no evidence it hadn’t been compromised by hackers or foreign adversaries. She also didn’t detail who administered the email system, if it received appropriate software security updates, or if it was monitored routinely for unauthorized access.

Clinton also didn’t answer whether the homebrew computer system on her property had the same level of safeguards provided at professional data facilities, such as regulated temperatures, offsite backups, generators in case of power outages and fire-suppression systems. It was unclear what, if any, encryption software Clinton’s server may have used to communicate with U.S. government email accounts.

Recent high-profile breaches, including at Sony Pictures Entertainment, have raised scrutiny on how well corporations and private individuals protect their computer networks from attack.

CLINTON: “When I got to work as secretary of state, I opted for convenience to use my personal email account, which was allowed by the State Department, because I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and for my personal emails instead of two. Looking back, it would’ve been better if I’d simply used a second email account and carried a second phone, but at the time, this didn’t seem like an issue.”

THE FACTS: If multiple devices were an inconvenience in the past, they may be something of an obsession now. Clinton told an event in California’s Silicon Valley last month that she has an iPad, a mini-iPad, an iPhone and a BlackBerry. “I’m like two steps short of a hoarder,” she said. She suggested she started out in Washington with a BlackBerry but her devices grew in number.

Smartphones were capable of multiple emails when she became secretary; it’s not clear whether the particular phone she used then was permitted to do so under State Department rules.

'Climate change expert bilks EPA out of $1 million

By: John Hayward

We have truly entered the age of “Derp”(1) Government, in which the colossus in Washington has grown institutionally fat, drunk, and stupid on trillions of dollars in madcap spending.  The bigger government gets, and the more power it claims, the more unaccountable it becomes, and the less anyone gives a damn about their jobs.

Exhibit A, of course, is HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and the historic disaster of the ObamaCare rollout, whose aftermath has given us so many wonderful congressional hearings filled with mighty six-figure bureaucrats claiming that nobody had any idea what was going on, during the three and a half years they were blowing a billion dollars on web infrastructure, training, and marketing.  There was no oversight… so the overseers cannot be held responsible for the ensuing disaster.  There was no management… so the managers must be allowed to keep their jobs, every single one of them.  It really is like watching a gang of drunken frat boys claim nobody was at the wheel when their party van slammed into a tree.

ObamaCare is the paramount example of Derp Government, but it’s far from the only one.   Last week, we had the spectacle of the Obama Administration’s top Afghanistan specialists rolling into a congressional hearing without the foggiest notion of how many casualties there have been this year, or how much the war effort cost.  Hey, man, nobody told us there was going to be a test, or we would have done some homework instead of partying all night.

No better prepared was the hapless clown currently serving as Secretary of State, onetime Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, who apparently didn’t know that North Korea already has nuclear weapons when he moaned, “To have a nuclear weapon, potentially, in the hands of somebody like Kim Jong In… Jun… just becomes even more unacceptable.”  That’s Kim Jong Un, Mr. Secretary.  And he does indeed have nuclear weapons in his pudgy hands, as did his father.  But in the crazy who-gives-a-damn degeneracy of the Obama Administration, where trillion-dollar industry takeovers are made up on the fly, no one expects the Secretary of State to have the geopolitical knowledge of the average college freshman.  He says he’s real smart, and that’s good enough for the media.

Then there’s the bizarre spectacle of Fake Sign Language Guy, a paranoid schizophrenic with a history of crime and violent behavior, coupled with a blissful lack of knowledge about sign language, who somehow managed to get on stage with the President of the United States at the Mandela memorial in South Africa.  It turns out that Fake Sign Language Guy, Thamsanqa Jantjie, participated in a mob action that killed two men by “necklacing” them with tires full of burning gasoline.

“Questions have been raised over the screening of the man who has been the subject of complaints from the deaf community before, and who said he had hallucinations and saw angels while interpreting at the stadium in Soweto,” writes the UK Independent.  Why, yes, I think there are a few questions to be asked about that, especially since the President is pleased to bill taxpayers for a titanic entourage of security personnel and aides, every time he travels.  But nobody in this vast royal procession bothered to apply even the most elementary scrutiny to the interpreter that would wind up standing next to the President?  It’s not the first time the vaunted Secret Service has been caught metaphorically flat on its back during the Obama years, either.  Wait, make that literally flat on its back.

The combination of unlimited money, total power, and absolutely zero accountability is intoxicating.  It’s hardly a new feature of this Administration – it’s been building for decades in the depths of imperial agencies, completely insulated from both fiscal reality and the voting public.   No degree of failure means extinction for any big government program.  The good times will never stop rolling.  Careless disregard for taxpayer money has given us infuriating carnivals of excess, from the lavish conference parties of the General Services Administration, to the goofy training videos of the Internal Revenue Service.  A common thread running through these scandals is how silly they are.  Nobody with a shred of common sense or responsibility would approve them.  But Uncle Sam is living like the Great Gatsby these days, and few of his bureaucratic nephews see themselves as the careful stewards of scarce and sacred taxpayer dollars.

Which brings us to the Environmental Protection Agency’s latest scandal, and this one’s a doozy.  NBC News tells the tale of John C. Beale, a “climate change” expert who cheated the government out of a few million dollars in outrageously lavish salary and benefits over the course of a decade… by never showing up for work… because he claimed he was working as a CIA spy in Pakistan.

John C. Beale, who pled guilty in September to bilking the government out of nearly $1 million in salary and other benefits  over a decade, will be sentenced in a Washington, D.C., federal court on Wednesday. In a newly filed sentencing memo, prosecutors said that his lies were a “crime of massive proportion” that were “offensive” to those who actually do dangerous work for the CIA.

Beale’s lawyer, while acknowledging his guilt, has asked for leniency and offered a psychological explanation for the climate expert’s bizarre tales.

“With the help of his therapist,” wrote attorney John Kern, “Mr. Beale has come to recognize that, beyond the motive of greed, his theft and deception were animated by a highly self-destructive and dysfunctional need to engage in excessively reckless, risky behavior.” Kern also said Beale was driven “to manipulate those around him through the fabrication of grandiose narratives … that are fueled by his insecurities.”

Well, that actually sounds plausible, given that “climate change” is the biggest, most delusional fraud ever perpetrated.  A lot of the people who marinate in that atmosphere of self-righteous quackery lose touch with reality.

It’s long past time for the Church of Global Warming to start paying for its own clergy, because they’re not cheap dates:

Beyond Beale’s individual fate, his case raises larger questions about how he was able to get away with his admitted fraud for so long, according to federal and congressional investigators. Two new reports by the EPA inspector general’s office conclude that top officials at the agency “enabled” Beale by failing to verify any of his phony cover stories about CIA work, and failing to check on hundreds of thousands of dollars paid him in undeserved bonuses and travel expenses — including first-class trips to London where he stayed at five-star hotels and racked up thousands in bills for limos and taxis.

Until he retired in April after learning he was under federal investigation, Beale, an NYU grad with a masters from Princeton, was earning a salary and bonuses of $206,000 a year, making him the highest paid official at the EPA. He earned more money than Gina McCarthy, the agency’s administrator and, for years, his immediate boss, according to agency documents.

In September, Beale, who served as a “senior policy adviser” in the agency’s Office of Air and Radiation, pled guilty to defrauding the U.S. government out of nearly $900,000 since 2000. Beale perpetrated his fraud largely by failing to show up at the EPA for months at a time, including one 18-month stretch starting in June 2011 when he did “absolutely no work,” as Kern, Beale’s lawyer, acknowledged in his court filing.

And who would miss him?  Dogs don’t notice when their ticks take the day off.  At this point, the machinery of the “climate change” fraud runs itself.  Billions of dollars are flogged out of the private sector with automated whips.  Sign a couple of reports, write a few op-eds inveighing against “deniers,” announce that every hurricane and typhoon is the wrath of the Angry Sky Gods, declare that cold winters are proof of global warming, declare that hot winters are proof of global warming, work with radical greens to target the next bit of the Industrial Revolution you can bully the populace into renouncing… most of it can be done by underlings, and one imagines the highest-paid official at the EPA has a lot of those.

Quite a bit of Derp Government is running on autopilot.  It’s filled with redundant and obsolete agencies, whose primary objective is demonstrating they are too under-funded to accomplish anything.  The most outrageous, and yet comically awesome, example is a scam artist who gets away with bilking the government out of a $200k salary, limo service, first-class air fare, and five-star hotels for a decade while telling anyone who asks what he actually does that he’s too busy to answer, because he, Jack Ryan, James Bond, and Jason Bourne are getting ready to take out a terror cell in Pakistan.  At least Beale had a sense of humor about it:

To explain his long absences, Beale told agency officials — including McCarthy — that he was engaged in intelligence work for the CIA, either at agency headquarters or in Pakistan. At one point he claimed to be urgently needed in Pakistan because the Taliban was torturing his CIA replacement, according to Sullivan.

“Due to recent events that you have probably read about, I am in Pakistan,” he wrote McCarthy in a Dec. 18, 2010 email. “Got the call Thurs and left Fri. Hope to be back for Christmas ….Ho, ho, ho.”

But he didn’t work for the CIA, ever, and didn’t even have a security clearance.  He spent the decade living large at his Northern Virginia house and Cape Cod vacation home, when he wasn’t jet-setting at taxpayer expense.  He was constantly zipping off to conferences and violating the official per diem expense limit by 100 percent, and his expense vouchers were routinely approved by his colleagues.  For ten damn years.

Nor was that Beale’s only deception, according to court documents. In 2008, Beale didn’t show up at the EPA for six months, telling his boss that he was part of a special multi-agency election-year project relating to “candidate security.” He billed the government $57,000 for five trips to California that were made purely “for personal reasons,” his lawyer acknowledged. (His parents lived there.) He also claimed to be suffering from malaria that he got while serving in Vietnam. According to his lawyer’s filing, he didn’t have malaria and never served in Vietnam. He told the story to EPA officials so he could get special handicap parking at a garage near EPA headquarters.

I wonder if he got a magic hat while he was non-serving in Vietnam.  No doubt the experience is seared into his memory.  And he used that story to scam a handicapped parking space!

How did Derp Government finally catch this legendary grifter?  Well, he had a big, splashy retirement aboard a yacht, attended by top EPA officials… and then he kept collecting paychecks.  For another year and a half.  And then someone at the EPA finally decided something was amiss.

This blood-boiling outrage is casually written off by EPA Assistant Inspector General Patrick Sullivan as a product of agency culture.  He doesn’t seem to realize he’s describing a culture of mind-blowing, reform-proof arrogance and irresponsibility:

Sullivan said he doubted Beale’s fraud could occur at any federal agency other than the EPA. “There’s a certain culture here at the EPA where the mission is the most important thing,” he said. “They don’t think like criminal investigators. They tend to be very trusting and accepting.”

In a statement to NBC News, Alisha Johnson, McCarthy’s press secretary, said that Beale’s fraud was “uncovered” by McCarthy while she was head of the Office of Air and Radiation. “[Beale] is a convicted felon who went to great lengths to deceive and defraud the U.S. government over the span of more than a decade,” said Johnson. “EPA has worked in coordination with its inspector general and the U.S. Attorney’s office. The Agency has [put] in place additional safeguards to help protect against fraud and abuse related to employee time and attendance, including strengthening supervisory controls of time and attendance, improved review of employee travel and a tightened retention incentive processes.”

But he didn’t go to “great lengths.”  This was easy.  He gamed a system that was institutionally incapable of seeing through the flimsiest story ever concocted, a story that could have been shredded with a couple of phone calls.  And he did it from the very pinnacle of privilege and power, not the dark and faceless recesses of a cubicle farm.  Our titanic super-government, staffed with the best and brightest, claims it can run every industry in America better than its owners… but nobody noticed that the highest-paid “expert” at one of the most powerful Washington agencies spent ten years goofing off at home.  There’s really nothing all that surprising about the failure of ObamaCare, is there?  This entire system has passed the point of caring what happens after it wins the latest political victory and expands further.  It thinks always about its frontiers, never about the careless rot at its core.

Benghazi Survivor David Ubben With Shredded Leg Waited For 20 Hours For Help After Fighting Alongside Navy SEALs

by http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/07/benghazi-survivor-david-ubben-waited-for-20-hours-for-help-with-shredded-leg-after-fighting-alongside-navy-seals/#ixzz2aOjFfCZn

In another demonstration of the not so “phony” scandal called Benghazi, we are discovering that Diplomatic Security Agent David Ubben fought alongside former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty to protect the diplomatic mission that came under attack on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya. As he did, he was injured and said he had to wait 20 hours for help with a shredded leg.

According to Fox News, David Ubben waited for twenty hours after he was hit on that rooftop with Tyrone Woods and Glenn Doherty. His leg was shredded. We know that he has been recovering for ten months at Walter Reed as Catherine has just reported. He was defending the US consulate and then no medical aircraft was apparently sent to this scene to get him out of there.

How could this be?

It’s because the Commander-in-Chief was more engaged in CYA tactics and cover-up than he was in doing his job.

Ubben ran into the consulate to help recover the body of information management officer Sean Smith, and then fought alongside the two SEALS in an attempt to fight off the jihadist attack.

Mortar attacks eventually hit Woods and Doherty and one of those attacks shredded Ubben’s leg.

Ubben’s testimony would be crucial in understanding exactly what took place that evening. Congress is hoping that he will have recovered enough to testify as he was one of the only survivors to have witnessed both waves of attacks in Benghazi on September 11; the first at the consulate and the second at the CIA compound.

Catherin Herridge told Fox that source have confirmed that Ubben is a survivor and that all the details above did come from him.

Ubbens’ injuries were so severe that he is still undergoing treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center. Ubben was one of four State Department employees who were injured in the attack.

Those who know Ubben say the response on that night was “inadequate on many levels.”

Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) said that a medical plane was not sent for those injured. He would not confirm if that information came from Ubben or not, but by his response, it does seem that Ubben was the source of that information.

“A medical plane has a door big enough to get somebody on a gurney through it without turning them sideways,” said Gohmert. “We owed our people better than they got.”

The State Department’s independent review doesn’t list a medical plane being sent either nor was it mentioned by former State Secretary Hillary Clinton or former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.

So not only did Barack Obama leave Americans to die, but then his administration did nothing to send medical care in immediately to help those who were wounded. Again, this is a clear dereliction of duty on Obama, Clinton, and Panetta’s part.

Ubben is among several Benghazi survivors who have yet to testify. Many have already been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements by the Obama administration. What will we learn once their testimony is made public? Furthermore, how long will it take Congress to get a move on in dealing with the actions, or more appropriately, inactions of the Obama administration? We’ll wait and see. Meanwhile, continue to pressure your representatives and senators to get to the bottom of this and administer justice.
