Nutty Liberal ‘Pastor’ Melts Down Purity Rings To Make A … VAGINA?

There is a very real irrational hatred of all things traditional and Christian. Here’s yet another of a long list of examples. For most groups, observant Jews, Buddhists, and Hindus for example, there’s no particular ax to grind with the fact that ‘someone out there’ disagrees with you. It’s enough to have your own opinion, traditions or set of values. You might disagree with other people, or even get in an impassioned debate if the topic comes up. But you don’t lose any sleep over it, right?

That’s not true of everyone. Even the knowing about the existence of traditional Evangelical Christian belief (or even orthodox Christian belief more generally) offends some so deeply that they feel a need to single it out and rail against it.

The very existence of someone disagreeing with them offends them. What does that look like? Here’s an example:

Oh no! There’s a group of devout young women who decided they don’t care for the idea of transactional sex? They think they could be better off waiting for some guy who values them enough to marry her first?

How DARE they!

Of course every OTHER choice regarding sex is culturally valid. Just not the monogomous kind.

So a ‘Feminist Pastor’ has decided her own values are more valid than the personal convictions of strangers she’ll never meet. How ‘tolerant’ of her. She’s deliberately seeking to attack the Purity Ring tradition.

What’s a purity ring? It’s just a ring that a young lady wears as a reminder to herself that even when passions rise in the heat of the moment, to remember the ‘bigger picture’. Said succinctly in one of their slogans, “True Love Waits”. Whether you think that strategy is able to accomplish its objective or not is certainly something that could be debated. But the reaction by this ‘Feminist Pastor’ seems a little extreme:

She’s called to have them mailed in and melted down into a sculpture… of a vagina.

As Paul Bois noted, it has curious echoes of the Golden Calf scene in the Book of Exodus (Think Charlton Heston’s ‘The Ten Commandments’).

What do they get for sending their ring to be melted down? A ‘certificate of impurity’. No really, this isn’t The Onion. Here’s a picture:

More about the statue in a moment. They don’t JUST get the certificate.

They get a replacement ring, too. One that looks like a vagina. It’s called the ‘Impurity Ring’. Get it? They hate the abstinence movement so much that they had to make a copycat movement. Probably because they have no real ideas of their own.

Why the hell would anyone ‘pastor’ bother doing this? It’s performance art, railing against the sacred. She’s a Liberal Lutheran pastor with a not-so-subtle agenda:

…Bolz-Weber, founding pastor of Denver’s House for All Sinners and Saints, issued a call for people to send her those rings “for a massive art project.”

“Beginning November 12th, until December 17th, you’ll have the opportunity to send in your purity rings to be melted down and recast into a golden vagina,” she explained on her website. “This sculpture will be unveiled at the 2019 Makers Conference.”

The website states that those who send in their rings will then receive a “certificate of Impurity as well as a SHAMELESS, impurity ring.”

…“This thing about women that the church has tried to hide and control and that is a canvas on which other people can write their own righteousness ― it’s actually ours,” Bolz-Weber told HuffPost. “This part of me is mine and I get to determine what is good for it and if it’s beautiful and how I use it in the world.”

…Earlier, she sparked controversy after she said there should be no shame in consuming pornography, especially if it is “ethically sourced.

Clearly, she’s not given much thought to what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount. That ‘already holy’ line in the certificate was a dead giveaway. Real Christianity is expected to change culture not conform to it. But of course, a call to repentance and the Holiness of Christ doesn’t sell books, does it?

Her stance on porn is badly out of step with people who’ve lived that life and come back from it (for example, the former ‘Jenna Presley‘) to the traditional Christianity Bolz-Weber is so hellbent on overthrowing. Pamela Anderson — herself no religious traditionalist — has denounced the social impact of Porn. As for her ‘ethically sourced’ porn? If you believe it exists, you probably believe in Unicorns, too. Think that’s an overstatement? Then read this, if you dare: Think Pornography Is ‘Harmless’? Maybe you don’t find those arguments compelling? Ok then, how about some science? Bolz-Weber is just one more in a long line of people who want the form of religion, but want to gut it of all meaning. Just like Liberalism has done to every other traditional institution it sinks its hooks into. It is, at root, parasitic. That explains her focused hatred for traditional Christianity and it’s values. They are a mirror reminding her she’s an imposter playing at being the real deal.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: Bush’s Finest 30 Seconds: The Willie Horton Ad

The press in America is even worse than we imagine. We sense that they’re biased and stunningly incompetent. They are those things, but so much more. Our media’s version of the news is mathematically and precisely the opposite of the truth.

The death and burial of George H.W. Bush is only the latest example.

In the puffery and revisionism that accompany funerals, the man who gave us David Souter, an unnecessary war, tax hikes he promised not to impose and the Americans With Disabilities Act (aka The Destruction of Small Libraries Throughout New England Act) has been elevated to saint like status.

But the one incident the media decided to excoriate Bush for was, in fact, his finest moment: the Willie Horton ad.

If we let the media get away with this, they will have once again redefined what constitutes acceptable discourse in America and cemented the notion that our political process should never be soiled by such a campaign ad — the one thing Bush got right in his entire public career.

Far from representing the “low road,” the Willie Horton ad was the greatest campaign commercial in political history. The ad was the reason we have political campaigns: It clearly and forcefully highlighted the two presidential candidates’ diametrically opposed views on an issue of vital national importance.

Bush’s opponent, Gov. Michael Dukakis of Massachusetts, had championed a self-evidently insane criminal justice program that provided prison furloughs to first-degree murderers.

One of the murderers let out under Dukakis’ program was a career violent criminal, Willie Horton. In 1974, Horton sliced up a 17-year-old convenience store clerk, Joey Fournier, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, after Fournier had already handed over all the money. He then stuffed the boy’s corpse in a garbage can. That wasn’t Horton’s first offense: Years earlier, he’d been convicted of attempted murder for stabbing a man in South Carolina. No sane person would have allowed Horton to take a breath of free air again.

Horton was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, which was the maximum possible penalty, inasmuch as Gov. Dukakis had vetoed the death penalty. The whole idea of sentencing first-degree murderers to life without parole is that they are never supposed to be let out of prison. But under the weekend furlough program lustily promoted by Dukakis, Horton was released.

On April 3, 1987, months after running away from his most recent furlough, Horton broke into the Maryland home of Cliff Barnes and his fiancée, Angela Miller, and waited for them to return. When Barnes got home, Horton lunged at him, dragged him to the basement, tied him up, and spent hours torturing him, slashing him and jamming a pistol butt in his mouth and eyes. He told Barnes he planned to hang him and watch him die. Five hours later, Barnes’ fiancée came home. Horton left Barnes bound and gagged in the basement, went upstairs and repeatedly raped and beat Miller, as Barnes listened helplessly from the basement.

Twelve hours after he had first encountered Horton, Barnes managed to escape. When Horton realized Barnes was gone, he stole the couple’s car and led police on a high-speed chase before finally being captured — again.

The Maryland judge who sentenced Horton refused to send him back to Massachusetts, saying: “I’m not prepared to take the chance that Mr. Horton might again be furloughed or otherwise released.” The following year, Michael Dukakis offered himself up to be president of the United States.

Dukakis was directly responsible for Horton’s release — as well as the release of hundreds of other murderers, many of whom went on to commit similarly heinous crimes. Even Dukakis’ own Democratic legislature in liberal Massachusetts had tried to reverse a state Supreme Court decision granting furloughs to first-degree murderers. But the Greek homunculus vetoed the bill.

When Horton’s survivors Barnes and Miller tried to meet with Dukakis after their ordeal to ask him to rescind the furlough policy, he refused to see them, arrogantly announcing, “I don’t see any particular value in meeting with people.” This marked the first time the media supported a politician’s refusal to meet with victims of one of his policies.

What could be more central to a presidential campaign than an ad highlighting how Bush would handle criminal justice issues versus how the elected governor of Massachusetts was at that moment handling them? Liberals’ response was to accuse Republicans of racism because Horton was black, knowing full well that the GOP would have given everything it owned for him to have been white. But it was too important an issue to ignore just because the poster-boy for Dukakis’ insane crime policies happened to be black.

Bush’s ad was so “racist” it never even showed Horton’s picture. Instead, white male actors were shown passing through the “revolving door” of criminal justice.

(An independent group unconnected to the Bush campaign produced an ad seen by 16 people showing Horton — appalling the press by using his mug shot, rather than his First Communion photo as prescribed by The New York Times’ standards and ethics policy for black criminals.)

Liberals smugly cite Bush campaign manager Lee Atwater’s deathbed apology for the Horton ad. Yes, he hoped for a nice obituary and didn’t want his kids teased at school, so he said whatever his captors wanted him to say. (By the way, it didn’t work.)

Just like Atwater, the reporter who won a Pulitzer Prize for her articles on Horton disavowed her own reporting, after going through the media’s re-education camp. You don’t have the right to “apologize” for something you did that’s not factually incorrect.

The Horton ad was the highest, best form of political campaigning, serving to illustrate stark differences between the candidates on an important policy issue. People should have won awards for that ad. Instead, it became one of the stops on the left’s Via Dolorosa of Racism. Idiot Republicans are ashamed of it, thinking the best response is to say: Al Gore brought up Horton first!
Yammering morons don’t have any argument against the ad, other than feigned outrage. You’re seriously defending the Willie Horton ad?! Yes I am! It demonstrated that Michael Dukakis should have never been anywhere near a position of power, least of all, the presidency. What’s your argument against it?

Bombshell: Exonerating Trump Evidence Uncovered in Cohen Docs, Mueller Kept It from Court: Investigative Report

The decision by President Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen to plead guilty to making false statements to the Senate Intelligence Committee has been described as nothing short of a “bombshell” capable of taking down the Trump administration. This impression has only been bolstered by Trump tweeting about it, essentially calling Cohen a Judas and saying he “lied for this outcome and should, in my opinion, serve a full and complete sentence.”

The political discernment behind those tweets will be debated for some time to come, or at least until the next news cycle starts in about three hours. Regardless, they did make the president sound like a man who had something to be afraid of. And therein lies the great problem with the tweets: At least from what we know so far from court documents, fear is probably not the correct reaction.

Author and commentator Paul Sperry, best known of late for his work with the New York Post, analyzed what we know so far about the indictments in an article published Monday by RealClearInvestigations.

Contrary to the en vogue media theory that Cohen’s guilty plea is — at long last — the falling domino that will topple the entire Trump administration, Sperry wrote that what we know thus far from the Cohen filings is actually exculpatory for the president even as Cohen is admitting he lied about how long he was involved in proposed Trump real estate project in Moscow.

“The nine-page charging document filed with the plea deal suggests that the special counsel is using the Moscow tower talks to connect Trump to Russia,” Sperry wrote.

“But congressional investigators with House and Senate committees leading inquiries on the Russia question told RealClearInvestigations that it looks like Mueller withheld from the court details that would exonerate the president. They made this assessment in light of the charging document, known as a statement of ‘criminal information’ (filed in lieu of an indictment when a defendant agrees to plead guilty); a fuller accounting of Cohen’s emails and text messages that Capitol Hill sources have seen; and the still-secret transcripts of closed-door testimony provided by a business associate of Cohen.”

And this includes the putative link to Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the indictment everyone seemed to be mesmerized over.

“On page 7 of the statement of criminal information filed against Cohen, which is separate from but related to the plea agreement, Mueller mentions that Cohen tried to email Russian President Vladimir Putin’s office on Jan. 14, 2016, and again on Jan. 16, 2016,” Sperry wrote.

“But Mueller, who personally signed the document, omitted the fact that Cohen did not have any direct points of contact at the Kremlin, and had resorted to sending the emails to a general press mailbox. Sources who have seen these additional emails point out that this omitted information undercuts the idea of a ‘back channel’ and thus the special counsel’s collusion case.”

“Page 2 of the same criminal information document holds additional exculpatory evidence for Trump, sources say. It quotes an August 2017 letter from Cohen to the Senate intelligence committee in which he states that Trump ‘was never in contact with anyone about this (Moscow Project) proposal other than me,’” he continues.

“This section of Cohen’s written testimony, unlike other parts, is not disputed as false by Mueller, which sources say means prosecutors have tested its veracity through corroborating sources and found it to be accurate.”

Mueller also doesn’t take issue with Cohen’s statement that he “ultimately determined that the proposal was not feasible and never agreed to make a trip to Russia.” Other sources seemed to indicate that there was less than there might appear in the Cohen plea.

“Though Cohen may have lied to Congress about the dates,” a Capitol Hill investigator told Sperry, “it’s clear from personal messages he sent in 2015 and 2016 that the Trump Organization did not have formal lines of communication set up with Putin’s office or the Kremlin during the campaign. There was no secret ‘back channel.’”

“So as far as collusion goes,” he continued, “the project is actually more exculpatory than incriminating for Trump and his campaign.”

Whether or not that’s true remains to be seen. The Mueller investigation can be a very tight ship when it wants to be and we don’t know everything the special counsel has. We likely won’t know everything until we see Mueller’s final report. However, what Sperry seems to have collected is a whole lot of evidence that, to quote the inimitable Peter Strzok, “there is no big there there.”

While Cohen was involved with a go-between named Felix Sater who claimed he had some connections with the Russian leader, “the project never went anywhere because Sater didn’t have the pull with Putin he claimed to have. Emails and texts indicate that Sater could only offer Cohen access to one of his acquaintances, who was an acquaintance of someone else who was partners in a real estate development with a friend of Putin’s.”

The Kremlin was never involved with the project in any manner, according to Sperry’s sources, and no one traveled to Russia to try and make the deal happen. In other words, Sater was less connected than that dodgy lawyer who took part in the infamous Trump Tower meeting involving Donald Trump Jr. Both seem to have gone nowhere.

But tell that to the media.

“The actual texts of the plea deal and related materials filed last week in federal court do not jibe with reports and commentary given on several cable news outlets and comments of Democrat leaders,” Sperry wrote.

“CNN said the charging documents, which reference the president as ‘Individual 1,’ suggest Trump had a working relationship with Russia’s president and that ‘Putin had leverage over Trump’ because of the project.

“’Well into the 2016 campaign, one of the president’s closest associates was in touch with the Kremlin on this project, as we now know, and Michael Cohen says he was lying about it to protect the president,’ said CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.

“’Cohen was communicating directly with the Kremlin,’ Blitzer added.”

Really, now.

Now that we’re all up to speed, here’s the problem. This guy (Dylan Pontiff) raised the notion of ‘grooming’ as a good thing. For most of us, grooming, in the context of children, is an outrageous concept. We’re not talking about personal hygiene. If you’re wondering why he complained that the room “reacted” to the words he used, there’s a very specific reason.

In the context of a public meeting where parents and other responsible adults were expressing their concerns that having men dressed as women visiting young children for Storytime to read to them, where the innocence of childhood was being challenged by having confusing and unnecessarily complex sexual concepts introduced at a very young and impressionable age, the speaker (who is also the cross-dresser who would be ‘performing’ at this story time) introduced the term ‘grooming’ quite willingly, and said it was something he was actively doing.

Why did people object?

Grooming is a term typically used in describing the efforts of an adult to prepare a vulnerable youth to be receptive to future sexual advances. It involves as the reducing of inhibitions, desensitizing the child to awkward and uncomfortable (sexualized) situations and normalizing abnormal sexual behavior so that it seems ok and safe. See the problem?

Now cue up to what he says from about the 2:20 mark and forward.

Besides citing the inappropriateness of introducing children to adult entertainers, some parents have voiced concerns about the pro-gay and transgender ideology behind the story times.

Pontiff then said that the event will be “the grooming of the next generation.”

“I’m here to let you know that this event is something that’s going to be very beautiful and for the children and the people that support it are going to realize that this is going to be the grooming of the next generation. We are trying to groom the next generation,” Pontiff said.

Remember, first he’s arguing that he isn’t doing some kind of ‘indoctrination’.

Then he turns around and says he was intentionally grooming young people. Intentionally trying to shape and change their views of men dressing up as women (Which, if you follow the logic of the ‘Minstrel Show’ article, cited above, is arguably derogatory and insulting to genuine women.)

And after that, he points his skinny finger at the ’50 or so’ people who gasped at the concept of their children being ‘groomed’, and proceeded to paint THEM as evil intolerant whackos.

Conservative author Jerome Corsi filed a “criminal and ethics” complaint against special counsel Robert Mueller on Monday, alleging his team threatened prosecution if Corsi refused to provide false testimony against Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Fox News reported the 78-page complaint, filed with the Department of Justice and the DOJ’s inspector general, stated “Dr. Corsi has been criminally threatened and coerced to tell a lie and call it the truth.”

The filing also calls for the removal of Mueller and his prosecutors for their misconduct.

“Special Counsel Mueller and his prosecutorial staff should respectfully be removed from his office and their practice of the law and a new Special Counsel appointed who respects and will obey common and accepted norms of professional ethics and the law and who will promptly conclude the so-called Russian collusion investigation which had been illegally and criminally spinning out of control,” the document reads.

According to his complaint, Mueller’s team wanted Corsi to testify to acting as a liaison between Trump campaign associate Roger Stone and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange regarding the release of hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee. The filing reads that Mueller’s office “knowingly and deceitfully threatening to charge Dr. Corsi with an alleged false statement,” unless he gives them “false testimony” against Trump and others.

Corsi announced last week on multiple media outlets that he would not sign Mueller’s agreement calling for him to plead guilty to one count of perjury.

“They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie,” the 72-year-old told CNN.

According to a court filing by Mueller’s team, Corsi wrote in a short email to Stone in July 2016, “Word is friend in embassy plans 2 more dumps. One shortly after I’m back. 2nd in Oct. Impact planned to be very damaging.”

“Time to let more than (Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta) to be exposed as in bed w enemy if they are not ready to drop HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton),” “The Obama Nation” author added. “That appears to be the game hackers are now about.”

Corsi explained to Fox News host Tucker Carlson last week that he had fully cooperated with Mueller’s investigators, turning over his computer and cellphone, but he initially forgot about the email, until it was brought to his attention. He amended his statement to Mueller’s team in September, which they accepted without complaint, but prosecutors changed their tune after they determined, he “could not give them what they wanted,” according to Corsi.

“They do this what I call a perjury trap,” Corsi told Carlson. “They ask you a question. They have material they won’t show you. You’ve forgotten about. They say, ‘You’ve just lied,’ because this email you’ve forgotten about 2016 proves your current memory is wrong. It’s a memory test.”

In a statement on Monday, his attorney Larry Klayman charged Mueller with “effectively seeking to overthrow a duly elected president” through coercing false testimony.

“This rogue government tyranny perpetrated by a Special Counsel and his prosecutorial staff, which is designed to effectively overthrow a duly elected president by coercing and extorting false testimony from Dr. Corsi and others, cannot be permitted in a civilized society,” he said.

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz argued last week that Mueller’s probe is creating crimes rather than uncovering past ones, and that the “devastating” report against Trump he will write will be based on people “who have lied.”

“Virtually all of his indictments and pleas come from people who he got to lie in front of investigators by setting perjury traps for them,” Dershowitz told Fox News host Sean Hannity. He added, “(A)nd the other ones have to do with financial dealings unrelated to the president. Where’s the beef? Where’s the crime?”

An abortion business is using a popular media resource to promote parental acceptance of transgender children. The Planned Parenthood video, designed for parents, suggests there is nothing they can do to change their child’s gender identity — that a boy who wants to be a girl should be left to his view of the subject.

Jim Sedlak of the American Life League (ALL) says it is just a business move to generate more revenue for the organization, as Planned Parenthood provides drugs to children in order to prevent puberty.

“Planned Parenthood in a number of places is selling what they call puberty blockers, which are products that block the production of testosterone in boys and estrogen in girls until the kids can pick out what gender they want to be,” Sedlak explains.

Sedlak, Jim (American Life League) But in many states, parents must consent to the puberty blockers, so the video is really propaganda to convince them to sign on the dotted line for the sake of their child’s mental health, which the ALL president says is a false statement.

“So Planned Parenthood in our estimation has started this widespread campaign to get parents to get comfortable with letting children choose their identity so that the parents will sign off and Planned Parenthood will be allowed to deliver these puberty blockers to their children,” Sedlak continues.

The truth, however, is children usually outgrow the gender dysphoria by their teenage years, or the psychological problem can be addressed through mental health counseling.

Hillary worried bust pointing The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided a whistleblower’s home after he obtained documents exposing questionable practices by the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One.

Michael Socarras – the attorney of the whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain – announced last week that the FBI rummaged through his client’s home for six hours after the homeowner turned the documents over federal officials.

Not a good start for a 2020 presidential run

With indications that former first lady Hillary Clinton will run once again for the presidency in 2020, the recognized Department of Justice (DOJ) whistleblower is the latest target of an FBI probe that is looking into information obtained by the man who privately delivered documents to a government watchdog concerning the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One.

“The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom – the Russian company that purchased Uranium One – a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation [DCNF] alleges,” The Daily Caller announced. “The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges. Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.”

Socarras insisted that Cain’s handling of the information was within the bounds of the law and called the raid of his home in Union Bridge, Maryland, by 16 agents on November 19 an “outrageous disregard” of the former FBI contractor’s protections.

“The bureau raided my client to seize what he legally gave Congress about the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One,” Socarras told The Daily Caller (DCNF).

Federal magistrate Stephanie A. Gallagher of the U.S. District Court for Baltimore, Maryland, issued and signed a court order on Nov. 15 permitting the raid. Government agents contend that the confiscation of the former FBI agent’s property was legitimate because he allegedly broke the law by taking possession of federal property.

“A special agent from the FBI’s Baltimore division – who led the raid – charged that Cain possessed stolen federal property and demanded entry to his private residence, Socarras told TheDCNF,” TheDCNF’s Richard Pollock reported.

FBI Spokesman David Fitz announced that the raid of Cain’s home had taken place.

“On Nov. 19, the FBI conducted court authorized law enforcement activity in the Union Bridge, Maryland, area,” Fitz told TheDCNF. “At this time, we have no further comment.”

According to Socarras, the raid took place despite Cain’s contention that he legally possessed the documents under question.

“Cain informed the agent while he was still at the door that he was a recognized protected whistleblower under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act and that U.S. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz recognized his whistleblower status,” Pollock noted. “Cain further told the FBI agent the potentially damaging classified information had been properly transmitted to the Senate and House Intelligence committees as permitted under the act, Socarras said. The agent immediately directed his agents to begin a sweep of the suburban home, anyway.”

Socarras pointed out that Cain quickly turned over the documents to the FBI out of fear and intimidation, noting that agents still rummaged through his home for six hours.

“After asking and getting my approval to do so, DOJ IG Michael Horowitz had a member of his staff physically take Mr. Cain’s classified document disclosure to the House and Senate Intelligence committees,” the whistleblower’s lawyer told TheDCNF. “For the bureau to show up at Mr. Cain’s home suggesting that those same documents are stolen federal property – and then proceed to seize copies of the same documents after being told at the house door that he is a legally protected whistleblower who gave them to Congress – is an outrageous disregard of the law.”

Even though Cain should have been protected from the a search and seizure, the FBI went ahead and treated him as if the documents exposing Clinton were illegally obtained.

“The law protects whistleblowers who are government contractors and requires the IG to share such potentially damaging information with the attorney general – who at the time was Jeff Sessions,” Pollock continued. “The two law enforcement officials directed the documents be sent to the Senate and House Intelligence committees for their examination – according to Socarras – who said that a high-level IG official hand-delivered the documents to the two intelligence committees.”

Soccoras was amazed at the FBI’s aggressive behavior.

“I cannot believe the Bureau informed the federal magistrate who approved the search warrant that they wanted to search the home of an FBI whistleblower to seize the information that he confidentially disclosed to the IG and Congress,” Socarras expressed to DCNF.

The FBI and other whistleblowers within the intelligence community are protected by the whistleblower act, according to 2016 intelligence community directive.

“The [intelligence community] is committed to providing its personnel the means to report violations of law,” the directive reads.

Socarras – whom the FBI has still not spoken with since the raid – stressed how his client should have been protected by the government directive.

“The [whistleblower act] authorizes employees of contractors to take government property and give it to the two intelligence committees confidentially,” Socarras added. “After the raid – and having received my name and phone number from Mr. Cain as his lawyer – an FBI agent actually called my client directly to discuss his seized electronics. Knowingly bypassing the lawyer of a represented client is serious misconduct.”

The documentation Cain received while working for the FBI as a contractor was obtained through a number of stages.

“Cain met with a senior member of Horowitz’s office at a church close to the White House to deliver the documents to the IG, according to Socarras,” Townhall reported. “Cain sat in a pew with a hoodie and sun glasses, Socarras said.”

The information was then quickly taken.

“Cain held a double-sealed envelope containing a flash drive with the documents,” Townhall’s Beth Baumann recounted. “The IG official met him and – without saying a word – took the pouch over Cain’s shoulder and left.

Conspiracy against the Dems?

As FBI Director from 2001–2013, Mueller was negligent to investigate criminal misconduct allegations in the Uranium One case, which reveals Clinton’s underhanded dealings with Russia in the transaction of American uranium.

“The Canadian-based mining company controls over 20 percent of the U.S. uranium supply and was sold to the Russian conglomerate Rosatom in 2010,” RT.com informed. “The sale needed to be approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CIFUS), which was chaired by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

Clinton’s covert and shady operations have been under the radar for nearly a decade now.

“Since [2010], multiple whistleblowers have revealed claims of misconduct, bribery and fraud on part of the people involved in the sale, even suggesting a ‘pay for play’ scheme in which the Clinton Foundation received millions of dollars in donations in exchange for greenlighting the deal,” RT.com added. “Republicans have also pointed to Bill Clinton’s $500,000 fee for a speech in Moscow in 2010 as evidence the Clintons were peddling influence for Russian money.”

However, Clinton’s party insists that Republicans have used her questionable dealings to their political advantage.

“Democrats have dismissed the apparent scandal as a right-wing conspiracy theory, and Clinton herself called the accusations of wrongdoing ‘baloney,’” RT.com pointed out.

Since this spring, the uranium scandal has been beating on Clinton’s door – posing more problems for her possible 2020 White House run.

“In April this year, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions asked the Utah-based U.S. Attorney John Humber to investigate both the Uranium One probe and the FBI investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server,” RT.com recalled. “That second probe was the subject of a scathing report in June by the DOJ IG Michael Horowitz – the same official to whom Cain gave the documents as a whistleblower. The status of that investigation is currently unknown.”

‘Ballot harvesting’ – a sure-fire way for Dems to win

California mail-in ballots A conservative columnist agrees with House Speaker Paul Ryan in questioning the legitimacy of California’s vote-counting process.

It’s called “ballot harvesting” – and it’s illegal in most states. But the practice was legal for the first time in California this year. It allows a third party to collect completed “vote by mail” ballots from voters and then hand them over to election officials. The legislation states that:

“… A vote by mail voter who is unable to return the ballot [by mail or in person] may designate any person to return the ballot to the elections official who issued the ballot, to the precinct board at a polling place or vote center within the state, or to a vote by mail ballot dropoff location within the state ….” (Assembly Bill 1921)

That new law has caused Ryan, the outgoing Speaker of the House, to question the legitimacy of several California congressional races last month, adding to the contention of many Republicans that the state’s election procedures are flawed. “We had a lot of wins that night, and three weeks later we lost basically every contested California race. This election system they have? I can’t begin to understand what ballot harvesting is,” Ryan told The Washington Post.

Robert Knight, a conservative columnist for The Washington Times and OneNewsNow, says Ryan has legitimate concerns. “There’s long been a clear pattern across the country that when ballots are counted after a close election, the Democrats invariably win. Somehow they come up with the ballots,” he points out.

Robert Knight The most suspicious case in California, according to Knight, was in the 39th Congressional District, where Republican Young Kim was vying to become the first Korean-American woman elected to Congress.

“She was up by 14 percent on election night – and then they started all the ballot counting,” he describes. “And a week later they declared the Democrat the winner, Gil Cisneros, by 3,000 votes.

“Now I’m just wondering why it always goes this way. It never goes the other way. Whenever you see a ballot counting, the Democrats always seem to harvest enough votes to get over the top. And so when Paul Ryan suspects something fishy, a lot of us feel the same way.”

Washington Times columnist Shawn Steel puts it this way regarding the ultimate result of the Kim-Cisneros race: “There’s no evidence of ballot box shenanigans. No need. Democrats know it’s easier to erode voter integrity laws than to stuff ballot boxes …. Merciless and unsparing, California Democrats have systematically undermined California’s already-weak voter protection laws to guarantee permanent one-party rule.”

Steel argues his case by detailing how California Democrats have expanded voter eligibility for non-citizens, inmates, and felons, and instituting “motor voter” registration, pre-registration for 16- and 17-year-olds, automatic mailing of absentee ballots to every voter, conditional ballots, ballots accepted up to a week after Election Day, and second chance for rejected ballots.

Ever heard of ‘ballot harvesting’? Here’s what you need to know. Notice that a whole bunch of seats that were tilting Red on election night flipped blue a week or so later? What’s up with that? And why was that trend only in one direction?

Carmine Sabia of The Federalist Papers had some interesting things to say about that. Here’s a taste.

California’s most staunchly ‘red’ district went blue in at the Midterms. But why? Was it the ‘blue wave’? Did Republicans stay home? Was there any ‘funny business’ behind the scenes? (Heaven forbid anyone call it ‘monkey business’ anymore.)

This is where ‘ballot harvesting comes into play’.

As the polls closed on election day last month, six California Republican House candidates, including Representatives Dana Rohrabacher, Steve Knight, and Mimi Walters, were ahead in their respective races. However, as the absentee and provisional ballots rolled in over the intervening weeks, all six lost to their Democratic opponents.

The case of Korean-American GOP candidate Young Kim was one of the most prominent examples. On election night, Kim held an 8,000 vote lead over her Democratic opponent Gil Cisneros, and even attended freshman orientation in Washington, D.C. before watching her lead, and her victory, slowly evaporate over the subsequent weeks.

What is it?

“We beat Republicans on the ground, fair and square,” said Katie Merrill, a Democratic consultant deeply involved in November campaigns. “Many of the field plans included (ballot harvesting) as an option to deliver voters or their ballots” to the polls.

Those efforts involved identifying voters who might support Democratic candidates and ignoring those who wouldn’t.

In one Orange County household, for example, both the husband and wife were longtime Republicans, said Dale Neugebauer, a veteran Republican consultant. Democratic volunteers came by the house four times, each time asking to speak only with their 18-year-old daughter, a no-party-preference voter, and asking if she wanted them to pick up her signed and completed ballot.

That’s a perfect example of the “thorough and disciplined” ground game the Democrats used, said Merrill.

“We were not wasting time talking to people who weren’t going to vote for Democrats,” she said.

It’s not just an offer to drive the voters to the polls, it’s an offer to drop off their ballots. Nope, no way THAT could be misused, is there? There’s no way you could misplace the ‘wrong’ party’s ballots on the way to the polls, right? Or slip in a few dubious ones with the stack of legitimate ones?

FBI Raids Home of Clinton Foundation, Uranium One Whistleblower

FBI agents raided the home of a recognized Department of Justice whistleblower who privately delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a government watchdog, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.

The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.

The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to enforce criminal laws pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges.

Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether Donald Trump’s presidential campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

“The bureau raided my client to seize what he legally gave Congress about the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One,” the whistleblower’s lawyer, Michael Socarras, told TheDCNF, noting that he considered the FBI’s raid to be an “outrageous disregard” of whistleblower protections.

Sixteen agents arrived at the home of Dennis Nathan Cain, a former FBI contractor, on the morning of Nov. 19 and raided his Union Bridge, Maryland, home, Socarras told TheDCNF. The raid was permitted by a court order signed on Nov. 15 by Magistrate Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher in the U.S. District Court for Baltimore and obtained by TheDCNF.

A special agent from the FBI’s Baltimore division, who led the raid, charged that Cain possessed stolen federal property and demanded entry to his private residence, Socarras told TheDCNF.

MSNBC on tear gas use It’s not breaking news that the Obama-worshipping media napped for eight years and now a conservative newspaper is waking them up with a history lesson.

The media and Democrats expressed collective outrage over the weekend when U.S. Border Patrol agents fired tear gas canisters after a mob of rock-throwing migrants attempted to breach the border near a point of entry in San Diego.

“Tear gas across the border against unarmed families is a new low,” Brian Schatz, a U.S. senator from Hawaii, lectured on Twitter.

Trump and Obama at WH post-election Yet it’s not new despite Democrats’ outrage — whether real or faked — and media reports such as a Huffington Post news report set to ominous music.

A day after the tear gas was deployed, The Washington Times reminded the public that the Obama administration also used tear gas or pepper spray against foreign nationals at the U.S.-Mexico border. That non-lethal action was done so frequently, the Times said, that it averaged once per month during President Obama’s two terms.

The story’s claim was rated “Mostly True” by fact-checking website Snopes, which found CBP agents used tear gas 1.3 times per month on average during Obama’s last five years. The lopsided Obama-era numbers and lopsided denouncements against Trump weren’t lost on the White House, either.

“Let’s not forget,” Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told the media, “that this isn’t the first time that non-lethal force like this has been used.”

While the media was seemingly aghast at the Trump administration, media watchdog Media Research Center was watching when ABC, NBC and CBS completely ignored the data unearthed by the Times.

“The story was actually broken by The Washington Times and what they did was actually just kind of simple journalism,” says MRC spokesman Scott Whitaker. “They didn’t have any scoop. They just went and checked the record.”

He attributes the lack of consistency in the media to the collective hatred of Trump — Trump Derangement Syndrome — and says that skewed news coverage is why the “Big Three” ratings remain in the tank, and why Americans don’t trust the media to be honest with them.

For those of us who were ecstatic the night Donald Trump was elected president, who watch election night videos over and over again, it used to be easy to defend him against the charge that he is just a BS-ing con man who would say anything to get elected.

It’s getting harder.

Trump was our last chance. But he’s spent two years not building the wall, not deporting illegals — “INCREDIBLE KIDS!” — and not ending the anchor baby scam. Within 10 seconds of Trump’s leaving office, there will be no evidence that he was ever president. Laws will be changed, executive orders rescinded, treaties re-written and courts packed. Trump will leave no legacy at all. Only a wall is forever.

We had no choice. No one else was promising to save America.

“On day one, we will begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful southern border wall. We will use the best technology, including above- and below-ground sensors, that’s the tunnels. Remember that: above and below. Towers, aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall, find and dislocate tunnels and keep out criminal cartels …” — Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump

But then he signed a spending bill expressly prohibiting him from building any part of the wall.

“I will never sign another bill like this again. I’m not going to do it again.” — President Trump, after signing a spending bill that blocked any funding for a wall.

Today, eight months later, Trump is about to sign another spending bill that will give him no money for the wall. Anyone want to bet me that he won’t? So much for the world’s greatest negotiator.

Donald Trump is the commander in chief. He doesn’t need Congress’ approval to defend the nation’s borders. But as long as his excuse for not building the wall is that Congress hasn’t appropriated money for it, why on earth would he sign a spending bill that doesn’t give it to him?

There is no tomorrow on this. Republicans are about to lose the House. It’s now or never. We didn’t need someone to tell us how hard it is to get anything done in Washington. We knew that. That’s why we hired a builder. We didn’t care what Trump’s position on the lira was. We didn’t care about Syria. We were just looking for the best contractor we could find so we would finally get a wall.

If we were talking about a golf course in Scotland, I think Trump could figure out how to get it done.

But instead of winning, we’re getting whining. We’re told it’s Congress’ fault for not giving Trump money to build the wall! The ACLU will sue! A judge will stop him! Blame Paul Ryan! (Possible Trump epitaph: Chuck wouldn’t let me!)

President Reagan bombed Libya in retaliation for two U.S. serviceman being killed by a bomb in a West Berlin discotheque — TWO! But Trump thinks he needs the preapproval of Congress, the ACLU and a district court judge in Hawaii to do something about tens of thousands of Americans being killed every year by illegal alien heroin dealers, drunk drivers and straight-up murderers.

Reagan invaded Grenada because the country was becoming a Soviet client state. No Grenadian threatened to touch a hair on any American’s head. One wonders what Reagan’s reaction would have been to someone telling him, YOU CAN’T DO THAT! THE ACLU WILL SUE! If Reagan had Trump’s advisers, we’d be speaking Russian.

The ACLU, the Center for Constitutional Rights, the Southern Poverty Law Center and the other anti-American groups opposing Trump on immigration were the very same groups that opposed Reagan. They would have been happy if the U.S.S.R. had nuked this country. Sadly for them, Reagan kept his promises, and we won the Cold War. So now the back-up plan is to destroy our country by flooding it with the Third World.

We needed Reagan and got P.T. Barnum instead.

Evidently, Trump knew he could bomb an innocent country based on false information about the Syrian government using nerve gas in April 2018. (Actual reason: Ivanka cried.) No less than the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons spent months testing the bodies allegedly killed by nerve gas. Conclusion: No nerve gas.

But we’re supposed to believe that Trump doesn’t realize that he’s also allowed to defend the citizens of this country. Does he know he’s president?

Even if noted constitutional law scholar Jared Kushner has convinced Trump that he needs congressional approval before he’s allowed to repel invaders at our border — but doesn’t need Congress to bomb an innocent country because Ivanka cried — the president could order the troops to invade Mexico and build the wall 10 yards in.

But all we get are bombastic tweets and useless half-measures. The conservative media have been excitedly reporting that Obama put illegal alien kids in cages too! Obama used tear gas on the invaders too! Yes, exactly — and none of that worked. That’s why we voted for the guy who promised to build a wall.

Unlike the president, we knew that the deluge of poor people flooding our country would never stop until we had an impenetrable border. And whatever happened to that executive order on anchor babies? Is Trump “trying” to sign that, too? Maybe he got writer’s cramp.

Trump also promised to deport illegals — even the ones Democrats have given cute names to.

Is it Paul Ryan’s fault that Trump did a 180 on “Dreamers,” called them “INCREDIBLE KIDS” and tried to give them amnesty?

Every day that Trump does not keep his promises on immigration, thousands of immigrants turn 18 and start block voting for the Democrats, while thousands of traditional Americans die off. Florida and Texas are about five years away from turning solid blue. Trump was our last chance. After this, the country is never going to elect a Republican president again.

So the next time you watch one of those election night videos, remember: If Trump doesn’t keep his immigration promises, Hillary might as well have won.

Trump will leave no legacy whatsoever. Without a wall, he will only be remembered as a small cartoon figure who briefly inflamed and amused the rabble.

As you wake up this morning, you’ll no doubt turn on your TV and hear a debate over the use of tear gas against caravan members by the Border Patrol as said caravan members tried to rush the border.

By debate, of course, I mean that one person will say, “How could they?” and another will say “How could they?” See, completely different positions — the stress is on a different word. Who’s to say that the media doesn’t allow an exchange of ideas?

Completely unmentioned, of course, will be any questions about why parents would bring their children on or near a manifestly illegal border incursion that was almost certainly going to end like this or what the authorities ought to have done in the first place. These seem like important questions, but the problem is that they’re Not Empathetic™, the same way enforcing any sort of border law isn’t, either.

What you also won’t see is a lot of examination of this picture.

I’m sure you’ve seen it. As no less than Pulitzer winner Jason Szep of Reuters noted in his tweet, the picture is “(i)ncredibly moving and poignant.”

If you look closely enough, it’s also a little odd.

Take a look at these tweets, which show that skepticism over the photograph isn’t just Infowarsy nonsense. Take a look at the five weird things in the background in the first one:

As you can see, there are plenty of photographers who aren’t running anywhere (as well as other members of the caravan who seem perfectly willing to stay put in the face of the tear gas) while there seem to be individuals with the caravan doing things that are, for lack of a better description, darkly photogenic.

As The Daily Wire points out, there were also doubts expressed on Reddit, albeit of a different sort.

“We’re supposed to believe that this person dragged those poor, pant-less children 2888 miles in 45 days? Walking ~20 hours a day? And we’re supposed to believe it is a totally organic thing, not paid for by anyone?” one user wrote.

That’s not going to make the rounds on “Today,” particularly now that Megyn Kelly is unemployed and wallowing in her money. However, it’s something we need to ask ourselves as the coverage of the caravan continues. We’re treating this quote-unquote outrage as if it were something like Tiananmen Square, and we’ll continue to do so until we come across the next quote-unquote outrage and treat it the exact same way.

In the meantime, we’ll never question where this caravan came from, why they should be allowed to break immigration law and why parents are putting their children in situations where they might be exposed to tear gas. Some things, it seems, are just a bridge too far.

What do reporters look like before they become jaded and conformist? Like this guy, reporting the facts on the ground. But could honesty like this endanger his job? Media bias isn’t about what you TELL people, it’s also about the details you carefully ignore. A good example of that is how the media outrage over children being ‘snatched from mother’s arms’ at the border began in response to a single photo pushed by an Obama insider.

It was that photo of children sleeping in a glorified kennel. One problem — it was taken while Obama was in office. And yet, somehow, Trump got to be the lightning rod for the angry media outrage, and the politicians on the Left… how convenient for them.

Here we have a reporter walking among the migrants in the Caravan making political waves in Tijuana which unexpectedly broke out into what Rush calls a ‘random act of journalism’.

One part of it is just fine, from the perspective of that well-worn ‘sweet immigrants hoping for a better life’ narrative. He shows the audience that yes, indeed, there are women and children present. But he keeps on talking.

The plot twist is that he doesn’t stop there and leave us with an impression that it’s JUST women or children. Or even that it’s MOSTLY women and children. He plays it pretty straight up when he admits that it is also true that most of the people in this group are neither women nor children, but are, in fact, adult males.

That is exactly the point that has been made by the Right, both with respect to this ‘caravan’ and also the swarm of humanity flooding into Europe for the last few years. For example: Hundreds Of ‘Sweet Refugees’ Storm Spain’s Border – Attack Cops With Acid

We’re not seeing impoverished women, children and the aged fleeing some war-torn hellhole. We’re seeing men making a play to climb the social ladder and get a better income. We can’t blame them for wanting a shot at the American Dream but that does NOT meet any criterion of seeking ‘asylum’.

Will this honest reporter get sat down and have the business side of journalism explained to him? Will he out on his ear? Or will his next assignment be somewhere in the Antarctic reporting on the condition of polar ice sheets?

New Book Review: Deep State ‘very real’ and out to get Trump, says author

2 storm clouds over U.S. Capitol A book releasing today exposes a new player in the Deep State’s anti-Trump conspiracy to undermine a president that one of the authors ranks right up there with Ronald Reagan.

In their new book, Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State is Undermining the Presidency, Corey R. Lewandowski and David N. Bossie reveal the bureaucratic machine’s unwavering assault on the Trump presidency from within. They say that among the government bureaucrats, establishment officials, and other antagonists who have waged a full-blown war against President Donald J. Trump is James Baker – the FBI’s former top attorney.

Lewandowski, the former chief political adviser and campaign manager to President Trump, describes the president’s enemies in Washington, DC, as the “Deep State” and a “very real,” deeply entrenched threat.

“[They] are the individuals who work for the government across various agencies – including the executive office of the president – who attempt to thwart the president’s agenda,” he tells OneNewsNow. “[They are] the people who, historically, do not come in with each administration.”

The public is familiar with the names James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, and Peter Strzok – all examples from the Deep State who have been exposed in the media. But Lewandowski says the Deep State also includes “members of the intelligence community or the National Security Council or the State Department.” Many of them, he adds, are “unelected bureaucrats or unelected people who are supposed to be nonpartisan, but do everything in their power to stop this president’s ‘America First’ agenda.”

The Deep State, according to Lewandowski, has “done a very good job of getting into government agencies, whether it’s the Environmental Protection Agency or the Department of Labor,” for example. Those individuals, he explains, “put their biases aside while they are interviewing [for the job], but once they get in” they begin undermining the president. The author emphasizes: “They know how to slow processes down.”

Another problem arises when many of these people become government officials, Lewandowski explains. “There is no measure of success. You don’t have to continue to prove your worth – and as such, you continuously get promoted.”

Lewandowski contends the president has a growing number of enemies inside the Beltway – and it’s not just the hostile media and liberal Democrats. One such person the authors describe in the book is James Baker, whom they say “will be a major player in the conspiracy against President Trump.”

“James Baker, it is my belief – and I don’t want to reveal any sources – is a primary leak of classified information to the media,” Lewandowski discloses. “He served as the general counsel to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was their top attorney.” Yet, as the book states, he “provided documents to David Corn, Mother Jones’ DC bureau chief,” about the phony dossier. “Mother Jones was the first media outlet to report on the phony dossier’s existence.”

Lewandowski adds that Baker is “someone who has had a long relationship with multiple members of the media and some of the information which the media [obtained] was classified [and] we know came out of the FBI.

“It is also my understanding that Jim Baker, as … the general counsel for the FBI, was speaking with reporters, which is a clear violation” of his responsibility to the FBI, because the information was classified as noted previously by Lewandowski.

Despite the intentions of people like Baker and others revealed in the book, Lewandowski is convinced Trump “has come to Washington, DC, as a change agent – and every day he’s in Washington, things are changing for the better for the American people.”

And while the Deep State is “doing everything they can to hold onto their power,” Lewandowski says Trump is fighting back. “In 2020, the American people are going … to return Donald Trump to Washington so that he can fight the unelected bureaucrats who for too long have made rules and regulations with no accountability,” he states.

“What this president campaigned on and what he’s now been able to accomplish greatly surpasses my hero, Ronald Reagan, in the first two years of his administration,” Lewandowski divulges. “He has governed as the conservative that he said he would” and “has done such a great job of governing as a conservative.”

If the president’s name was anything but Donald Trump, Lewandowski is certain “every member of the conservative movement in Washington would be praising him as someone who is right there, if not above, Ronald Reagan.” However, he adds, “because his name is Donald Trump, [a lot of] conservatives don’t give this president the credit he deserves.”

Trump’s list: 289 accomplishments in just 20 months, ‘relentless’ promise-keeping

The Trump administration’s often overlooked list of achievements has surpassed those of former President Ronald Reagan at this time and more than doubled since the last tally of accomplishments after his first year in office, giving President Trump a solid platform to run for re-election on.

As Trump nears the two-year mark of his historic election and conducts political rallies around the country, during which he talks up his wins in hopes it will energize Republican voters, the administration has counted up 289 accomplishments in 18 categories, capped by the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

They include 173 major wins, such as adding more than 4 million jobs, and another 116 smaller victories, some with outsize importance, such as the 83 percent one-year increase in arrests of MS-13 gang members.

“Trump’s successes in reducing the cost of taxes and regulations, rebuilding our military, avoiding wars of choice and changing the courts rival those of all previous Republican presidents,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

“Trump has an advantage over Ronald Reagan: He has a Reagan Republican House and Senate while Reagan had a [Democratic Speaker] Tip O’Neill House and a pre-Reagan Republican Senate. Reagan and [former GOP Speaker] Newt Gingrich were the ice breakers that allowed Trump’s victories to grow in number and significance,”he added.

Unlike the Year One list which included many proposals and orders still to be acted on, the new collection includes dozens of actions already in place, signed legislation, and enforced executive orders.

For example, while the Year One list bragged about the administration’s efforts to rewrite the much-maligned NAFTA trade deal with Canada and Mexico, the Year Two list said: “Negotiated an historic U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement to replace NAFTA.”

And shockingly the NAFTA achievement is presented as a sidebar to the larger achievement that reads, “President Trump is negotiating and renegotiating better trade deals, achieving free, fair, and reciprocal trade for the United States.”Under that umbrella are eight trade deals cut with Japan, South Korea, Europe and China.

“President Trump is a truly unique leader in American history. He’s a kid from Queens who became an international business leader and made billions by getting things when no one said he could,” said Trump’s 2016 campaign pollster John McLaughlin.

“They told him he couldn’t be president and beat the establishment and he did. For two years the establishment is telling him he can’t do things in Washington and he’s succeeding in spite of them. He never retreats. He doesn’t back up. He’s relentless. He just wins,”he added.

Comparing the two years shows that the latest has an expanded group of economic achievements while the pro-life category was folded into the health care section. Along the way, there have been some disappointments, such as failing to replace Obamacare, fund a big infrastructure plan, and build the border wall.

But the White House believes that despite a lack of media coverage of his accomplishments, supporters know about them and will head to the voting polls to help the GOP maintain control of the House and keep the president on what CNN dubbed a “winning streak.”

In the Washington Post Friday, former Bush speechwriter and columnist Marc Thiessen agreed and said that Trump has proven to be successful at keeping his campaign promises. He wrote, “The fact is, in his first two years, Trump has compiled a remarkable record of presidential promise-keeping.”

Economic Growth

4.2 percent growth in the second quarter of 2018.
For the first time in more than a decade, growth is projected to exceed 3 percent over the calendar year.

Jobs

4 million new jobs have been created since the election, and more than 3.5 million since Trump took office.
More Americans are employed now than ever before in our history.
Jobless claims at lowest level in nearly five decades.
The economy has achieved the longest positive job-growth streak on record.
Job openings are at an all-time high and outnumber job seekers for the first time on record.
Unemployment claims at 50 year low
African-American, Hispanic, and Asian-American unemployment rates have all recently reached record lows.
- African-American unemployment hit a record low of 5.9 percent in May 2018.
- Hispanic unemployment at 4.5 percent.
- Asian-American unemployment at record low of 2 percent.
Women’s unemployment recently at lowest rate in nearly 65 years.
- Female unemployment dropped to 3.6 percent in May 2018, the lowest since October 1953.
Youth unemployment recently reached its lowest level in more than 50 years.
- July 2018’s youth unemployment rate of 9.2 percent was the lowest since July 1966.
Veterans’ unemployment recently hit its lowest level in nearly two decades.

Mexico Confirms: Migrant Group That Stormed US Border Will Be Deported

A wave of migrants massed at the U.S.-Mexico border tried to storm their way into the United States on Sunday. Not only did they fail, but some of those who tried to force their way into the country will be deported from Mexico, officials said Sunday. Mexican officials said that at least 39 of the 500 people who tried to rush the border will be deported, CNN reported.

Sunday’s incident underscored the rising tensions along the border in Tijuana, where several thousand migrants have come after coming in mass groups from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Estimates of migrants in the city range from 5,000 to 7,000, with more migrant caravans on the way.

On Sunday, a large number of migrants dashed for the border in an attempt to force their way past Border Patrol agents. One group “attempted to breach legacy fence infrastructure along the border and sought to harm CBP personnel by throwing projectiles at them,” Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen said in a statement, CNN reported.

“DHS will not tolerate this type of lawlessness and will not hesitate to shut down ports of entry for security and public safety reasons. We will also seek to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law anyone who destroys federal property, endangers our front-line operators, or violates our nation’s sovereignty,” Nielsen said.

Honduran Ana Zúñiga, 23, said she saw migrants open a small hole in concertina wire that had been strung to impede migrants’ progress when they try to cross the border, The Guardian reported. She said once the hole was created, tear gas was used on the migrants.

“We ran but when you run the gas asphyxiates you more,” she said, holding her infant daughter.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said projectiles thrown by the migrants struck several agents.

“Border Patrol agents deployed tear gas to dispel the group because of the risk to agents’ safety,” the agency tweeted.

Deploying the gas led the crowd to disperse.

Vowing to outlast the migrants, Nielsen said the U.S. will continue its “robust” presence along the border, Fox News reported.

Mexico’s Interior Ministry called Sunday’s action “acts of provocation” and warned that migrants are hurting their cause by repeating any attempt to storm the border.

It wouldn’t be a holiday in 2018 if liberals weren’t offended by something. This time, liberals were outraged over “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” which is apparently now being deemed racist.

On Wednesday, ABC aired the classic animated Peanuts special “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” which sparked the outrage. The animated special includes a heartwarming scene in which Linus leads a prayer as the head of the table. Franklin, the only black character in the special, was seated in a comfortable chair on one side of the table by himself while other characters sat on the opposite side.

Since Franklin was sitting on one side of the table by himself, some Twitter users were quick to call racism.

“How come Franklin, Charlie Brown’s only black friend, sits alone on the other side of the table? And in a lawn chair,” one user tweeted.

Another user claimed he would stop watching the annual special until they edit in more characters on Franklin’s side of the table.

One Twitter user even compared the Peanuts special to the horror movie “Get Out.”

However, misinformed Twitter users failed to realize that the character’s creator, Charles M. Schulz, added Franklin to the cast as a show against racism. After the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968, a teacher asked Schulz to include a black character to help influence attitudes on race.

As a result of Schulz’s correspondence with the teacher, Franklin was introduced in the summer of 1968, which was a bold stand against racism at the time. Considering the history of Franklin, it’s doubtful that there were any racist intentions in the Thanksgiving special. If anything, the seating was made to point out racial division instead of trying to exacerbate it.

It seems this was just another case of liberals being outraged for the sake of it.

Anyone hoping the judicial ruling had green-lit a flood of asylum-seekers… can guess again. Whatever that judge may have ruled about amnesty only being available to lawful border crossers, Trump’s not finished yet.

Border security is still a huge priority for the President and he’s still got a few aces up his sleeve. It looks like he’s going to need it since the ‘caravan’ doesn’t look like it wants to work and play well with others.

The would-be border jumpers are already wearing out their welcome in Tijuana. And what are they planning to do next? They are reportedly planning a ‘human stampede’ to force their way into America.

Gee, that sounds like something good, well-adjusted, law-abiding citizens might do, doesn’t it?

We already know that criminal organizations there use events like this one where our defensive resources are otherwise occupied as cover for their own objectives.

And their objectives are a serious — lethal — problem, as various recent fentanyl busts will remind us.

As one example:

“Fentanyl is one of the most lethal threats facing Maryland right now. As little as two milligrams of fentanyl can be a lethal dose, and the 20 kilograms of fentanyl seized in this case to date is enough to kill 10 million people — more than one and a half times the population of Maryland,” Maryland U.S. Attorney Robert K. Hur said in the release. “We are working with our partners to attack the sources of supply, as well as the street dealers who are committing the most violence in our neighborhoods.”

Fentanyl, which is about 50 times more powerful than heroin, is sometimes mixed with heroin by dealers to give users a more potent high.

The synthetic opioid is blamed for the epidemic of overdose deaths nationwide. Of Maryland’s 1,185 opioid overdoses in the first half of 2018, more than three-quarters involved fentanyl.

So, what can Trump do in the face of an angry mob demanding to be let in, and judges who seem hellbent on letting them?

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday that the migrant caravans headed toward the U.S. won’t be allowed to enter, a prediction he made after talking to Mexico’s foreign secretary.

“I have been in close contact with Mexican Foreign Secretary Videgaray and it has been one week since Secretary Nielsen and I had a constructive meeting with Mexican Foreign Secretary-designate Marcelo Ebrard to discuss the migrant caravans,” Pompeo said in a statement issued on Thanksgiving.

“We have affirmed our shared commitment to addressing the current challenge,” he said. “The caravans will not be permitted to enter the United States. There are real dangers to the safety and human rights of migrants from those who would prey on them.”

How can that be enforced? There are two ways.

One is closing the entire border (using Article II enumerated Presidential prerogatives), the other is simply defending the border (using force, if required).

President Donald Trump said Thursday he has authorized American troops on the US-Mexico border to “use lethal force” if necessary against an approaching group of migrants while also threatening to close “the whole border.”

Trump, who was speaking with military members and reporters at Mar-a-Lago, also said there “certainly could” be a government shutdown over border wall funding in December.

“If they have to, they’re going to use lethal force. I’ve given the OK,” Trump said. “If they have to — I hope they don’t have to.”

“I have no choice,” Trump said, and, without providing evidence, added, “You’re dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals” and “rough people.”

Of course, building an effective border wall would have been far simpler than moving to these more extreme measures. But too many elected officials have been uninterested in doing so.

‘We Don’t Want Them’ – Tijuana Protesters Lash Out Against Migrant Caravan

Hundreds of Tijuana residents congregated around a monument in an affluent section of the city south of California on Sunday to protest the thousands of Central American migrants who have arrived via caravan in hopes of a new life in the U.S. Tensions have built as nearly 3,000 migrants from the caravan poured into Tijuana in recent days after more than a month on the road. The federal government estimates the number of migrants could soon swell to 10,000.

U.S. border inspectors are processing only about 100 asylum claims a day at Tijuana’s main crossing to San Diego. Asylum seekers register their names in a tattered notebook managed by migrants themselves that had more than 3,000 names even before the caravan arrived.

On Sunday, displeased Tijuana residents waved Mexican flags, sang the Mexican national anthem and chanted “Out! Out!” in front of a statue of the Aztec ruler Cuauhtemoc, 1 mile from the U.S. border. They accused the migrants of being messy, ungrateful and a danger to Tijuana. They also complained about how the caravan forced its way into Mexico, calling it an “invasion.” And they voiced worries that their taxes might be spent to care for the group.

“We don’t want them in Tijuana,” protesters shouted.

Juana Rodriguez, a housewife, said the government needs to conduct background checks on the migrants to make sure they don’t have criminal records.

A woman who gave her name as Paloma lambasted the migrants, who she said came to Mexico in search of handouts. “Let their government take care of them,” she told reporters covering the protest.

Most of the migrants who have reached Tijuana via caravan in recent days set out more than a month ago from Honduras, a country of 9 million people. Dozens of migrants in the caravan who have been interviewed by Associated Press reporters have said they left their country after death threats.

But the journey has been hard, and many have turned around.

Alden Rivera, the Honduran ambassador in Mexico, told the AP on Saturday that 1,800 Hondurans have returned to their country since the caravan first set out on Oct. 13, and that he hopes more will make that decision.

“We want them to return to Honduras,” Rivera said.

Honduras has a murder rate of 43 per 100,000 residents, similar to U.S. cities like New Orleans and Detroit. In addition to violence, migrants in the caravan have mentioned poor economic prospects as a motivator for their departures. Per capita income hovers around $120 a month in Honduras, where the World Bank says two out of three people live in poverty.

The migrants’ expected long stay in Tijuana has raised concerns about the ability of the border city of more than 1.6 million people to handle the influx.

While many in Tijuana are sympathetic to the migrants’ plight and are trying to assist, some locals have shouted insults, hurled rocks and even thrown punches at them. The cold reception contrasts sharply with the warmth that accompanied the migrants in southern Mexico, where residents of small towns greeted them with hot food, campsites and even live music.

Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum has called the migrants’ arrival an “avalanche” that the city is ill-prepared to handle, calculating that they will be in Tijuana for at least six months as they wait to file asylum claims. Gastelum has appealed to the federal government for more assistance to cope with the influx.

Mexico’s Interior Ministry said Saturday that the federal government was flying in food and blankets for the migrants in Tijuana.

Tijuana officials converted a municipal gymnasium and recreational complex into a shelter to keep migrants out of public spaces. The city’s privately run shelters have a maximum capacity of 700. The municipal complex can hold up to 3,000. Some from the caravan have diverted to other border cities, such as Mexicali, a few hours to the east of Tijuana.

Elsewhere on Sunday, a group of 200 migrants headed north from El Salvador, determined to also find safety in numbers to reach the U.S.

President Donald Trump, who sought to make the caravan a campaign issue in the midterm elections, used Twitter on Sunday to voice support for the mayor of Tijuana and try to discourage the migrants from seeking entry to the U.S.

Trump wrote that like Tijuana, “the U.S. is ill-prepared for this invasion, and will not stand for it. They are causing crime and big problems in Mexico. Go home!”

He followed that tweet by writing: “Catch and Release is an obsolete term. It is now Catch and Detain. Illegal Immigrants trying to come into the U.S.A., often proudly flying the flag of their nation as they ask for U.S. Asylum, will be detained or turned away.”

The public will witness Democrats push for more gun restrictions in 2019, both on Capitol Hill and in state gun store assault weapons governments with anti-gun governors. Democrats on Capitol Hill are expected to push for “gun safety” in January, bolstered by more than 90 Democrats who ran openly on pushing for new gun control laws, NPR reported before Election Day.

“After recent mass shootings,” the liberal, taxpayer-funded news organization reported, “GOP congressional leaders have come under criticism for offering their thoughts and prayers, but little legislative action. The next Congress may be very different.”

Las Vegas massacre (Oct 2017) The pre-election story described one Democratic candidate, former U.S. Army Ranger Jason Crow, who was challenging GOP Rep. Mike Coffman and NRA ally in Colorado’s 6^th District. Crow, who went on to defeat Coffman 53-43 percent, told NPR he supported a ban on “assault weapons” and claimed popular civilian firearms such as the AR-15 are the same as the “military-style assault weapons” he carried in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yet many gun owners repeatedly point out that a military-grade M-4, is issued to military personnel for combat, is not the same as the civilian version that has become Enemy No. 1 of gun control advocates.

Lawrence Keane, senior vice president for government and public affairs at the National Shooting Sports Foundation, tells OneNewsNow that there will certainly be “activity” on Capitol Hill but it’s doubtful any bill will get signed into law by President Donald Trump.

“It’s a very different matter, however,” he says, “in a number of states where anti-gun governors have been elected and the legislature is controlled by anti-gun politicians.”

Keane points to states including Nevada, Washington, Oregon, and New Mexico, and he says liberal California went from bad to worse after on Election Day.

California’s governor-elect is Gavin Newsom, the former San Francisco mayor, and Keane predicts the “anti-gun” governor-elect will push for more legislation in a state that is no ally to gun owners.

“Even though California is the model of the gun control community,” he says, “they have every conceivable gun control legislation they want, and of course we still have tragedies like the one in Thousand Oaks because legislation can’t stop a person who has evil in their heart and is crazy.“

Keane urges Second Amendment supporters to pay attention, get engaged politically, and vote.

Freedom of Religion button Democrats are seeking to do away with a law the party helped put in place no so long ago.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) was introduced in 1993 by then-Representative Chuck Schumer (D-New York). Many other Democrats came on board to get it from the House to the Senate and eventually to then-President Bill Clinton’s desk.

“We all have a shared desire here to protect perhaps the most precious of all American liberties: religious freedom,” Clinton said at the signing ceremony on November 17, 1993.

Vice President Al Gore, a former student of Vanderbilt Divinity School, talked up the legislation, and the various faith groups worked together to get the bill passed.

“I’m glad that we’re not the only two Baptists in the crowd here today,” he quipped. “The fact is that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act is something all Americans can support.”

Today, House Democrats are singing a different tune. In fact, a majority of the Democrats in the House now support legislation known as H.R. 3222. As explained on Congress.gov, this bill makes the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) inapplicable to federal laws (or implementations of laws) that:

protect against discrimination or the promotion of equal opportunity, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, Executive Order 11246 (concerning equal employment opportunity), the Violence Against Women Act, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) rules entitled “Equal Access to Housing in HUD Programs Regardless of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity”;
require employers to provide wages, other compensation, or benefits, including leave;
protect collective activity in the workplace;
protect against child labor, abuse, or exploitation; or
provide for access to, information about, referrals for, provision of, or coverage for, any healthcare item or service.

“I think this really shows their party’s increasing hostility to faith in the public square,” says Travis Weber, vice president for policy at the pro-RFRA Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. “Religious freedom used to be a bipartisan issue, as RFRA support in 1993 evidences. But now that’s no longer the case.”

Weber saw it coming with increasing opposition to states passing or discussing their own RFRAs based on the federal legislation.

“The issue is not religious freedom on its face,” he continues. “The issue is opposition to historic Christian teaching on sexuality, including issues relating to the LGBT movement and abortion-related issues.”

Weber adds that Democrats do not oppose religious freedom when it protects a person serving the homeless or when it protects a prisoner’s religious freedom claim, but they do oppose it in these other areas relating to sexuality.

“So they’re the ones picking and choosing what religious freedom claims to protect, and they’re being discriminatory in their treatment of religious freedom, and that’s really the story here,” Weber concludes.

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is an important element of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who along with other elements of DHS collectively work together in attempting to keep our nations citizens and residents safe from foreign national threats to public safety.

A critical responsibility of U.S. Customs and Border Protection is preventing foreign nationals (criminal aliens) who have been convicted of domestic or foreign crimes and deported from the country from illegally entering or reentering the United States of America.

The U.S. Border Patrol Criminal Alien Statistics webpage is an excellent source for information that indicates the number of criminal aliens CBP caught, interdicted or prevented from entering the country. Moreover, the Criminal Alien Statistics webpage reveals the types of prior criminal convictions that prohibited them by federal law from being legally present in the country.

For Fiscal Year 2018 Year to Date (FY2018YTD), October 1, 2017 – August 31, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has taken into custody and arrested 6,259 criminal aliens (Note: CBP’s Fiscal Year runs from October 1, 2017 – September 1, 2018).

Listed below are the total criminal convictions of the 6,259 criminal aliens by types and numbers of crimes for FY2018YTD; the most recent U.S. Customs and Border Protection criminal alien numbers available were posted on the CBP webpage on October 23, 2018 (Note: The preceding CBP number of criminal aliens doesn’t match the actual number of illegal alien criminals because some aliens had more than one criminal conviction.).

Types of Criminal Convictions Number Criminal Convictions

– Assault, battery, domestic violence 506;

– Burglary, robbery, larceny, theft, fraud 322;

– Driving under the influence 1,062;

To help politicians, electronic / hardcopy media outlets or interest persons put a real world face on some of the 6,259 criminal aliens that were arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for illegally entering or reentering the country during FY2018YTD the CBP Newsroom webpage is a starting point to look for local or national media releases on criminal aliens.

Wanting to find out if U.S. Customs and Border Protection detained and arrested any criminal aliens convicted of crimes in the State of Oregon, I clicked on the upper left side of the CBP Newsroom webpage on News Releases and opened the Media Releases webpage.

Near the top of the CBP Media Releases webpage I set the date search criteria to reflect the FY2018YTD time period (October 1, 2017 – August 31, 2018), set the Media Releases box to read Local Media Releases, typed in the Keywords box Oregon, clicked the Apply button and multiple stories that fit the parameters of my search appeared in the form of individual press releases.

Here are excerpts and hyperlinks to five U.S. Customs and Border Protection press releases about criminal aliens with past criminal convictions apprehended by CBP for illegal reentry into the country with a past connection to Oregon:

Let’s unite around Jesus, not divide over Trump

Michael Brown America is sinking. America is burning. America is suffering. We have the answer in the gospel. We have the answer in Jesus. And the world desperately needs what we have.

Have you ever seen American evangelicals this divided? Have you ever seen followers of Jesus so torn apart over politics? Obviously, during the Civil War era, Christian divisions were even deeper and more pronounced, as believers were literally killing each other over slavery and the actions of President Lincoln.

But in our lifetimes, have we seen such intense feelings, such passionate emotions, such virulent disagreements over politics within the evangelical Church?

During the Obama presidency, there were certainly deep differences between Christians who supported his policies and Christians who opposed his policies. But for the most part, those divisions fell along racial lines, with white evangelicals overwhelmingly opposing Obama and black evangelicals overwhelmingly supporting him.

And I doubt that many holiday dinners were disrupted over these divisions or that many people were unfriended on social media because of their political disagreements.

Today, things are different – and I say this without ascribing blame to any particular side or to the president himself. In fact, the last thing on my mind is to ascribe blame.

Bible with American flag Instead, I write this to underscore the urgency of the hour and to emphasize why it is so important that we come together as followers of Jesus despite our political divides. (At present, there is even division between Kellyanne Conway, the president’s senior counsel, and her husband George over support for Trump.)

Both the pro-Trump evangelicals and the anti-Trump evangelicals can make their cases, and each side can show why it believes it is right. But it’s unlikely that, at this juncture, either side will convince the other.

What each of us can do is this.

First, you can sit down with a fellow-believer who differs with you and say:

“Tell me why you feel the way you do. I really want to understand your point of view.”

Hopefully, that will lead to step two, in which you ask:

“May I share my point of view with you now that I’ve heard and understood yours?”

If that succeeds, move on to point three, which is the one that really matters. You can say:

“Now that we understand our differences, can we agree that America is hurting and that we, as followers of Jesus, have the only message that will bring healing? Can we agree that there is no political solution to our nation’s greatest problems? Can we agree that if the Church is divided, the world will mock? Can we agree that the most important thing is that we unite in our love for the Lord and for our neighbor? Can we agree that the reputation of Jesus is far more important than our political affiliation?”

Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).

Can we demonstrate this love across the political divide? Can we demonstrate this love without total agreement on all points? Can we demonstrate this love by talking more about Jesus than about Trump (or Hillary or whoever)?

Shortly before He was crucified, the Lord prayed at length for our unity (see John 17), saying: “I am in them and You are in Me. May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me” (John 17:23). What an incredible prayer!

church in America To put it bluntly, it is Satan, the evil one, who wants to divide us (and thereby destroy us) while it is Jesus, our Savior, who wants to unite us (and thereby bless us). To whose voice are we listening? Whose promptings are we following? Whose example are we emulating?

I’m not for a moment suggesting that we bury our differences. I’m not advocating some kind of superficial, Kumbaya unity. Far from it. Personally, I detest such shallow shows. They do more harm than good.

But what I am saying is that, as important as politics may be and as consequential as Trump’s presidency certainly is, there are more important, even more consequential matters that deserve our attention.

We recognize this during times of national calamity, like hurricanes or forest fires or floods. We all work together to save lives. We don’t see color. We don’t see ethnicity. We don’t see political affiliations. We see people in need, and we help them. Period.

That is how we need to view our nation today.

America is sinking. America is burning. America is suffering. We have the answer in the gospel. We have the answer in the preaching of the cross. We have the answer in the power of the Spirit. We have the answer in the wisdom of the Word. We have the answer in practical, hands-on, demonstrable love. We have the answer in the power of unity. We have the answer in Jesus. And the world desperately needs what we have.

If you are committed to the lordship of Jesus and the authority of Scripture, if you are a born-again, follower of the Lamb, I’m willing to stand arm-in-arm with you to touch this broken nation, whether you think Trump is our greatest president ever or our worst president ever. I’m willing to put aside our political divisions in order to put Jesus first. Are you willing to do the same with me?

As someone called to offer cultural commentary (in writing and on radio and TV), I plan to continue to address relevant political issues, which means that I plan to comment more on the president in the days ahead (as someone who voted for him, unashamedly, in 2016). And it’s very possible that you will take issue with some of what I say.

But why must that challenge our deeper unity? Why must the secondary become the primary, no matter how important the secondary may be?

First is still first, and there’s only one Person who comes first in that way.

That’s why I continue to shout from the rooftops that Donald Trump is my president, not my savior. It’s a positive message meant to unify, not a divisive message meant to provoke.

So, what it will be?

My hand of fellowship is extended, open, and ready. How about yours?

A Christian student at the University of California, Berkeley, is being pressured to resign her post in student government over her biblical beliefs.

When President Donald Trump recently redefined “gender” for federal purposes as the gender an individual is born with, it didn’t set well with students at Berkeley. A member of the student government quickly introduced a resolution condemning the president but student senator Isabella Chow (pictured) couldn’t support it. She didn’t vote no – instead, she abstained. For that, she was roundly condemned by her fellow students at a subsequent gathering.

In an interview with OneNewsNow, Chow expressed her support for freedom from discrimination and freedom from harassment for all people.

“But where it crosses the line for me is that I’m asked to promote LGBTQ identities and lifestyles – and it conflicts with my values and the values of the Christian community that I represent,” she shared.

And when she refused to support the resolution, it didn’t take long for the hammer to fall.

“My political party released a statement right after the vote disaffiliating with me – [and it] was shared widely,” said Chow. “This issue has just gone viral. People are calling me ‘homophobic,’ ‘transphobic,’ the ‘f-word’ and many other slurs that I just don’t want to repeat here.”

Most of the campus is demanding she resign her post in student government – but Chow is determined to stay the course.

“The issue that students here at Berkeley have with my statement is that they fundamentally cannot reconcile how I can say I love you and validate you as an individual, and yet disagree with how you choose to identify yourself and how you choose to live your life,” she explained.

Chow, who has a long year and a half in front of her before graduation, told Fox News that “backing down is not an option” – even though no one except her Christian supporters on campus will even talk to her anymore.

Filmmaker Embedded in Caravan Gets to the Truth. Migrants Themselves Expose US Media as Total Liars

A filmmaker traveled to Mexico and did what the U.S. media didn’t do: he witnessed the migrant caravan for himself and exposed the truth.nFilmmaker Ami Horowitz went to Oaxaca in southern Mexico to uncover the truth about the migrant caravan.

The caravan, consisting of thousands of Honduran illegal immigrants, has caught the attention of the media as it heads toward the United States. However, much of the coverage consists of hand-waving from the left-wing establishment media, which claims the caravan consists of peaceful families just trying to escape violence.

After visiting the caravan for himself, Horowitz came to a different conclusion.

“Despite the framing of the caravan as being full of women and children, the reality on the ground is quite different. Approximately 90 to 95 percent of the migrants were male,” Horowitz said in a Twitter video.

Last month, BBC wrote that “The migrants, mostly from Honduras, say they are fleeing violence and poverty, and include women and children.” That’s a grossly misleading statement for a caravan consisting of over 90 percent men.

The establishment media also continuously repeated the narrative that the caravan is made up of people seeking to escape violence.

“We do know that many migrants have said they are fleeing terrible gang violence, with some fearing for their lives,” The Guardian claimed last month.

However, Horowitz discovered that the migrants are actually seeking employment when they illegally enter the United States.

“The major narrative being pushed by the press has been that the migrants are leaving Honduras because they are facing extreme violence and that their lives are under constant threat,” Horowitz said.

To discover if this was true, the filmmaker asked several migrants, “Why are you coming to America?”

“To get a job,” one responded. “To work,” said another.

It’s clear that these migrants, who are mostly male, are economic migrants seeking American jobs. They aren’t “women and children” who are “fleeing violence.”

It’s completely absurd that the truth had to come from a filmmaker investigating the caravan for himself because the establishment media is too busy peddling lies and misinformation.

Election recounts would be more plausible if Democrats occasionally let the Republican win. But they don’t. Ballots miraculously discovered days and weeks after the election — in the back seat of a car, after helpful “corrections” to the ballots by election supervisors, etc. — invariably result in a surprise win for the Democrat. Voters are just supposed to accept that, unless Republicans win an election by an insuperable margin, the Democrats will steal it.

And the thieving is cheered on by our media. Whenever President Trump has the effrontery to mention that GOP victories are being stolen by corrupt Democratic officials, the media snippily note that his claim is “UNSUBSTANTIATED.”

Thus, for example, in the first 60 seconds of CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” on Monday, Burnett said:

— “(The email from Trump headquarters) without providing any evidence … warns that, quote, corrupt Democrats are trying to, quote, steal election victories in Florida. …

— “It’s a baseless claim that President Trump has been pushing for days. …

— “(Gov. Rick) Scott (is) talking about rampant fraud without providing any evidence. …

— “Now, ‘steal an election,’ ‘committing fraud’ are big claims to make without having evidence.”

Hey! I have an idea! Why doesn’t CNN rustle up some reporters to go and investigate the biggest story of the year?

No, the burden is on random Republicans — who have jobs other than “reporting the news” — to produce bulletproof evidence of voter fraud. Otherwise, it’s just a wacky coincidence that these “recounts” always result in mysterious new votes for Democrats.

If a freelance investigative reporter like James O’Keefe actually does produce the evidence that our media are too lazy and biased to get for themselves, they sneer that O’Keefe can’t be trusted. He’s not a real reporter!

What a real reporter does is call up some left-wing outfit, get a quote, and peremptorily announce that there has never been an illegal ballot cast in any election, ever.

We called the Brennan Center for Justice, and they assured us that voter fraud doesn’t exist. I can prove I called — I’ll show you my phone records! We’re not going to send our reporters on a snipe hunt. Oh, and we also got an interesting brochure on voter suppression, such as the Nazi-inspired idea that voters should know how to spell their own names.

That’s what we get from our crackerjack media. Journalists’ phones should be taken away, so they’d be forced to do actual reporting.

Republicans control the state legislature and governor’s office in Florida. They control the U.S. Congress and the presidency. If that’s not enough to prevent two statewide Florida elections from being stolen, the GOP is more useless than I’d already imagined.

Here’s a primer for Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan on how to deal with all the Senate and House election “recounts” that keep magically flipping seats to the Democrats.

In 1974, Republican Louis Wyman won his race for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, beating Democrat John Durkin by 355 votes. Durkin demanded a recount — which went back and forth by a handful of votes until the state’s Ballot Law Commission concluded that Wyman had indeed won. Wyman was certified the winner by the New Hampshire secretary of state and was on his way to Washington, D.C., when … the Senate refused to seat him. New Hampshire’s certification of Wyman as the winner meant nothing, because, you see, Democrats held a majority in the Senate.

The Senate spent months examining disputed ballots. Unable to come up with any method whereby they could declare the Democrat the winner, the Senate forced New Hampshire to hold another election.

Demoralized Republicans stayed home and, this time, the Democrat won.

Hey, Mitch! Don’t Republicans hold a majority in the Senate?

In 1984, Democrat Frank McCloskey won a razor-thin re-election to the House from Indiana’s 8th Congressional District. The state held two recounts, both of which the Republican won. The Washington Post reported that there were “no allegations of fraud” in the recount, and 90 percent of ballot disqualifications had been agreed to “by election commissions dominated by Democrats.”

Consequently, Indiana’s secretary of state certified Republican Rick McIntyre the winner.

But the Democratic-controlled House simply refused to seat McIntyre. Instead, the House undertook its own “recount.” You’ll never guess who won!

Don’t Republicans have a majority in the House for six more weeks?

In 2008, Sen. Norm Coleman of Minnesota won his re-election bid against challenger Al Franken by 725 votes. But for several weeks after the election, Democratic precincts kept discovering new votes for Franken — including ballots sitting in cars, as well as a write-in vote for “Frankenstein” — which was counted as a vote for Franken. (Duh.)

These late-discovered ballots eventually put Frankenstein ahead by 312 votes, whereupon he was immediately certified the winner by the George Soros-backed secretary of state.

The U.S. Senate was in Democratic hands, so there was no question but that Majority Leader Harry Reid would seat the cheater, Franken. And that, kids, is how the Democrats got the 60th vote for Obamacare.

Four years later, we found out that more than 1,000 felons — ineligible to vote — had cast ballots in the 2008 Minnesota election. (To state the obvious, felons support Democrats by about 10-1.)

In the middle of the Democrats’ open theft of the Indiana seat in 1984, The New York Times pompously reminded readers of the “basic constitutional principle that Congress is the judge of its own membership and that lawmakers can overrule state laws in making that determination.”

You’ve already caved on Arizona, Mitch. How about taking a page from the Democrats’ playbook? You don’t have to go full Daley Machine. Democrats steal elections they actually lost. Republicans just want you to hang on to the seats they won.

Documentary producer Trevor Louden says the 2016 film “Enemy Within” about communism’s influence in American politics opened his eyes to the threat, and he is now working with director Judd Saul to expose that influence in churches and their leaders.

The producer and director described their upcoming church documentary in a Nov. 9 interview on the “Sandy Rios in the Morning” radio show, where they described how communism has managed to influence people by hijacking movements.

“I’ve studied how the left operates through the peace movement, through the Black Lives Matter movement, through the women’s movement, through the labor movement,” said Loudon. “And they use the same methodology in the churches.”

The far-left goal in politics has always been to move government toward socialism and eventually communism, Louden said, and a similar goal is now under way to move churches leftward, too. Over time, he warned, that leftward drift affects the voting base inside those conservative churches, which is the ultimate goal of the far-left provocateurs.

The gospel message is still preached, he told Rios, but it’s “what they add on that is the problem.”

That is why church members are hearing more about social justice and “white privilege,” warnings from the pulpit about global warming and a fragile planet, and sympathy for illegal immigrants and refugees attempting to enter the United States, the filmmakers said.

Southern Baptist Convention The filmmakers told Rios one organization that drifted left in recent years is World Vision, the child relief organization, and a second one in danger of that far-left drift is Cru, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ, founded in the 1950s by Bill Bright.

Louden said he was informed by a Cru employee about the drift away from its gospel roots and was told to expect an exodus of employees, unwilling to follow that drift, in the near future.

One unsurprising named dropped by the filmmakers is Jim Wallis, the controversial Sojourners founder whose namesake magazine publishes stories such as “A Radical Redistribution of Love” that all but compares communism to brotherly love.

A second name dropped by the filmmakers on the radio program is Russell Moore, the controversial Southern Baptist figure who now leads that denomination’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) based in Nashville, Tenn.

Moore has already caused problems within the conservative denomination, such as ridiculing Southern Baptists who voted for Donald Trump, among other questionable decisions. But the filmmakers told Rios their upcoming documentary will describe how Moore attended a “strategy session” with leaders from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a powerful homosexual-rights group based in Washington, D.C. The filmmakers were likely referring to a 2014 ERLC conference on same-sex marriage that was described in a HRC press release, which complained about the SBC but made it clear HRC was sending leaders to sit down with Moore.

The filmmakers claimed in the American Family Radio interview that Moore met with HRC as an ally, not a SBC official hoping to exchange views. OneNewsNow contacted ERLC for comment about the filmmakers’ accusations but did not get a response from the organization.

“These are hard things to talk about,” Rios observed at one point, when the filmmakers accused author-pastor Tim Keller of flirting with far-left activism, too.

“This is pretty sinister and pretty deep,” Louden told the radio program. “This isn’t just a bunch of liberals who had taken over some churches. This is an organized Marxist program to pervert and corrupt American Christianity.”

Rios: not surprised at allegations

A veteran radio talk show host says she was not shocked by accusations that evangelical churches are the target of far-left activism.

Sandy Rios interviewed documentary filmmakers Trevor Loudon and Judd Saul for most of her one-hour program Nov. 9, allowing them to describe their claims and allegations to the American Family Radio audience. The targets of their upcoming documentary include The Gospel Coalition, ERLC leader Russell Moore, pastor-teacher Tim Keller, and organizations such as Cru, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ.

Sandy Rios Rios, who worked as a talk show host in Chicago, tells OneNewsNow she has enough experience with the Left’s infiltration into Christian organizations that she is not easily shocked by the claims.

The most serious allegations aired on the show, she says, is that Moore and Keller “might be willing infiltrators/manipulators” to an unsuspecting Church.

“Both have large evangelical audiences and followers,” she says, “and to accuse them of this is no small matter.”

Rios can’t personally affirm the filmmakers’ allegations, she adds, “but I know them well enough to know we should heed their warnings and ‘test the spirits to see if they be of God.'”

Fraud? Several Georgia Counties Reporting Thousands of New Votes. Cut GOP Lead.

Just remember: You can never, ever call counting votes that mysteriously appear out of nowhere “voter fraud.”

The number of votes cast keeps on mysteriously increasing for no good reason in a county where the person in charge of the count is famous for illegally destroying ballots in a primary? That’s not fraud, you Infowars-watcher.

Lawyers trying to get ballots from non-citizens counted? You’re clearly an irredeemable racist if you’re concerned about that.

Ballots being found pretty much everywhere aside from behind the soft-serve machine at a Jacksonville Dairy Queen? Why do you hate democracy so much?

Yes, new ballots seem to be popping up everywhere, particularly in the southeast corner of our fine nation. The latest bunch is from Georgia — which has already seen a good deal of apparent Democratic hijinks in this election. And — what do you know? — the new ballots seem to favor the Democrats!

“BREAKING: A handful of Georgia counties just reported thousands of new *absentee*, *early*, and *Election Day* votes that @BrianKempGA’s numbers did not account for, significantly closing the gap,” a Saturday tweet from the Georgia Democrats read, along with the hashtags, “#CountEveryVote #gapol”

“The latest vote tally on the Georgia secretary of state’s website shows Kemp leading by more than a percentage point. Kemp had 1,975,806 votes to Abrams’ 1,916,931 — a margin of 58,875 votes — leading 50.28 percent to Abrams’ 48.78 percent,” the Washington Examiner reported Sunday.

“The Libertarian candidate, Ted Metz, had a mere 37,149 votes and 0.95 percent of the vote.

“Earlier in the day, Kemp’s campaign argued that it was ‘mathematically impossible’ for Abrams to pull ahead or get close enough to trigger a recount, even with the remaining uncounted provisional and military ballots.”

However, the Democrats argued that they were getting closer and closer to a runoff, which would be triggered if Kemp got under 50 percent of the vote — and Abrams’ campaign manager claimed that Kemp had “lied” about the number of ballots left.

However, one Twitter user had the perfect reaction:

Yes — why are all these votes suddenly being found? Why are they all Democrat? Why does this never seem to happen in majority-Republican districts?

I’m not saying that it’s fraud. It could very well be mass incompetence. If so, I expect to see resignations across the board. Something tells me that’s not going to be happening — which should tell you a lot about where the Democrats are these days.

They’re not willing to talk about their massive incompetence when it comes to election machinery, and you’d best not bring up voter fraud unless you want to be labeled a tinfoil hat-wearing bigot.

This is an absolute farce.

Video: Military’s ‘Active Denial System’ Can Hit Illegals at 700 Yards, Instantly Turn Them Back

Could the Active Denial System be the answer for possible border problems? Conservative commentator Glenn Beck thinks so.

You may not have heard of the ADS, which has been a topic of debate for over a decade now. The non-lethal deterrent system been labeled by both military personnel and press alike as a “pain ray” — which, I suppose, is a catchier way to refer to it than ADS.

The U.K. Telegraph, describing the system back in 2010, said that military officials described it as a “non-lethal, directed-energy, counter-personnel weapon.”

“Compared with most military vehicles, the device looks relatively harmless — like one of the broadcasting trucks you see outside big sporting events: an anonymous-looking military transport with what appears to be a square satellite dish mounted on top. But it contains an extraordinary new weapon, capable of causing immense discomfort from half a mile away without – its makers claim – doing any lasting damage,” the newspaper reported.

“The ADS works by projecting a focused beam of 3.2mm wave electromagnetic radiation at a human target. This heats the water and fat molecules on the skin, causing their temperature to rise by up to 50C (122 degrees Fahrenheit).

“Philip Sherwell, a Sunday Telegraph reporter who tried out the ADS in 2007, describes it as ‘unbearably uncomfortable, like opening a roasting hot oven door.’ The immediate instinct is to escape the beam and seek cover — at which point the effect subsides.”

A Pentagon’s description is less dramatic, but just as persuasive.

“The Active Denial System is needed because it’s the first non-lethal, directed-energy, counter-personnel system with an extended range greater than currently fielded non-lethal weapons,” a FAQ from the Pentagon reads.

“Most counter-personnel non-lethal weapons use kinetic energy (rubber rounds, bean bags, etc.). A kinetic-based system has a higher risk of human injury, and its effectiveness varies in relation to the size, age and gender of the target. The Active Denial System, however, is consistently effective regardless of size, age and gender and has a range greater than small-arms range. The Active Denial System will provide military personnel with a non-lethal weapon that has the same effect on all human targets.”

The system can hit targets at 700 yards. That’s impressive, but even more so is how the military says it could be deployed.

“The Active Denial System will support a full spectrum of operations ranging from non-lethal methods of crowd control, crowd dispersal, convoy and patrol protection, checkpoint security, perimeter security, area denial, and port protection, as well as other defensive and offensive operations from both fixed-site or mobile platforms,” the FAQ states.

A Pentagon video shows how it works.

That means that it could be used in the event of a large group of people trying to force their way over the border — something that’s always a concern when it comes to caravans. And, as you can see above, this is basically a high-energy invisible wall.

That didn’t escape the notice of Glenn Beck.

So, could this be a tool used for caravans or similar situations involving border incursions?

The Telegraph notes that it can produce second- and third-degree burns if not used correctly and that weather conditions like rain, snow and fog can limit how effective it is. Also, reflective surfaces can limit its efficacy, meaning there are ways to beat it.

However, if you’re looking to mitigate the possible danger from large masses of people trying to make a run on the border — always a possibility with caravans — the ADS could just be the future of dealing with such threats.

Emergency Democrat Votes

Funny how in these times, whenever a Democrat loses and election to a Republican – especially if said Dem is a Black and the Republican a White – and the votes are close, there’s now always some issue and there’s always some number of extra Democrat ballots found by them after the fact. 😯 It seems an awful lot like they have a supply of Emergency Democrat Votes, doesn’t it?

And it’s these sorts who rant so stridently that President Trump, the Electoral College, and anything, everything, and anyone except themselves is a threat to America’s democracy and the integrity of our electoral process.
