Pedophiles Now Demanding Same Constitutional Rights As Homosexuals

For the past several years, I’ve been warning that once homosexuality and same-sex marriage is legalized, that other sexual perversions such as pedophilia, polygamy and bestiality will demand their equal rights also.

On Friday, the US Supreme Court legalized homosexuality and same-sex marriage, which is the same as issuing a death sentence upon our nation in the eyes of God. As soon as the high court’s decision was made public, pedophile activists left the playgrounds and children’s stores to launch their campaign for legal status using the very same arguments that homosexuals used. Pedophiles are claiming that this is just another sexual orientation just like heterosexuality and homosexuality. If they are legally recognized then there is no reason why pedophilia is not legally recognized as well.

Along with their argument that pedophilia is just another form of sexual orientation, they are claiming protected status under the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act that was passed in 2009 by the liberal Democratic Congress and signed into law by Barack Obama which states in part:

“It also creates a new federal criminal law which criminalizes willfully causing bodily injury (or attempting to do so with fire, firearm, or other dangerous weapon) when:

“(1) the crime was committed because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin of any person or (2) the crime was committed because of the actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of any person and the crime affected interstate or foreign commerce or occurred within federal special maritime and territorial jurisdiction…”

“Subsection (a)(2) of § 249 protects a wider class of victims. Subsection (a)(2) criminalizes acts of violence (and attempts to commit violent acts undertaken with a dangerous weapon) when motivated by the actual or perceived gender, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity of any person.” [Emphasis mine]

Pedophiles are citing reports issued by the American Psychiatric Association which refers to pedophiles as ‘minor-attracted people.’ In 1998, the APA also issued a report stating:

“…the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from childhood sexual abuse experiences.”

Additionally, a couple of Canadian psychologist claimed that pedophilia is just another form of sexual orientation in the same way that heterosexuality and homosexuality is. Once the Supreme Court opened the door for one form of sexual perversion and sin, the precedent has been set for the justification and legalization of other sexual perversions and sin. They have turned America into a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah and we all know what happened to them.

As America continues to turn its back on God and slides down the slippery slope of sin, hedonism and debauchery, our days are limited before the final wrath of God rains down upon us.

You ‘Must be Made’ to Obey

While actions speak louder than words, words often predict future actions. Secular progressives’ words and actions rarely align. This is because the pseudo-utopian, wholly dystopian perch from which they view the world is so detached from reality that, from a cultural and public policy standpoint, they must disguise their intended actions in flowery and euphemistic language, or face near universal rejection.

When they don’t like the terms, liberals redefine the terms to mean something they do not, never have and never can mean. Consider, for instance, the once meaningful words “marriage” and “equality.”

Other “progressive” doublespeak includes words like “invest” (meaning socialist redistribution of wealth), “tolerance” (meaning embrace immorality or face total ruin), “diversity” (meaning Christians and conservatives need not apply), “hate” (meaning truth) or “The Affordable Care Act” (meaning unaffordable, unsustainable and utterly inferior socialized medicine).

Even so, it’s during those rare moments of candor that our cultural Marxist friends’ rhetoric actually aligns with their intended actions. In other words, every so often, and usually by accident, they tell the truth.

Take this recent declaration by President Obama at Georgetown University. He was discussing his contempt for conservative new media in general and Fox News in particular:

“[W]e’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues,” he said.

How Kim Jong-un of him. In sum:

Goal 1) Control thought by,
Goal 2) Controlling the media.

This is an idea older than – and as well preserved as – Vladimir Lenin himself. How Dear Leader intends to reconcile his scheme to “change how the media reports on these issues” with the First Amendment’s Free Press Clause, namely, “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom … of the press,” is abundantly clear.

He doesn’t.

Our emperor-in-chief will force feed his once-free subjects yet another unconstitutional executive decree – a Net Neutrality sandwich with a side of Fairness Doctrine.

Or take would-be President Hillary Clinton’s comments last month on the “rite” of abortion vs. the right of religious freedom.

“The comment has Hillary Clinton essentially saying that Christians must be forced to change their religious views to accommodate abortions.

“‘Far too many women are still denied critical access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth. All the laws we’ve passed don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,’ Clinton said, using the euphemism for abortion.

“‘Rights have to exist in practice – not just on paper,’ Clinton argued. ‘Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.’”

That’s a lot of “have tos.” See the pattern here? Whether it’s Obama saying government will “have to change how the media reports,” or Hillary saying “deep-seated religious beliefs have to be changed,” such despotic demands should spike the neck hair of every freedom-loving American.

And then there are those left-wing extremists whose designs on despotism require that Christians “must be made” to obey. Homosexual practitioner and New York Times columnist Frank Bruni is one such extremist. In his April 3 column titled, “Bigotry: The Bible and the Lessons of Indiana,” Bruni quotes homosexual militant Mitchell Gold, a prominent anti-Christian activist: “Gold told me that church leaders must be made ‘to take homosexuality off the sin list,’” he writes. “His commandment is worthy – and warranted,” he adds.

Of course, if homosexual behavior, something denounced as both “vile affections” and “an abomination” throughout both the Old and New Testaments, is no longer sexual sin, then there can be no sexual sin whatsoever. To coerce, through the power of the police state, faithful Christians to abandon the millennia-old biblical sexual ethic and embrace the sin of Sodom would likewise require that Christians sign-off on fornication, adultery, incest and bestiality. Such is the unnatural nature of government-mandated moral relativism.

“But this isn’t free speech, it’s hate speech!” come the mournful cries of the ill-informed and the ill-prepared, desperately afraid to debate the issues on the merits. “Hate speech is excluded from protection,” opines CNN anchor Chris Cuomo in a recent tweet on the topic. “But there is no hate speech exception to the First Amendment,” replies UCLA law professor Eugene Volohk in a Washington Post op-ed. “Hateful ideas (whatever exactly that might mean) are just as protected under the First Amendment as other ideas.”

Of course this matters not to those to whom the First Amendment is meaningless. Indeed, one man’s “hate speech” is another man’s truth, and as I’ve often said, truth is hate to those who hate truth. And boy do they hate it. And so they mean to muzzle it.

The time of which many of us have long warned is no longer on the horizon. The left’s full-on assault against freedom, most especially religious freedom, is at hand. Oddly, or maybe not so oddly, it’s at once the secular left and orthodox Muslims who lead the charge. These strange bedfellows share a common enemy. He is Truth in the person of Jesus Christ. In order to silence Him, they must silence His faithful followers.

Which brings us to this modern age of American lawlessness. We’re fast moving from a soft tyranny to hard tyranny, and “progressive” leaders like those mentioned above are, chillingly enough, emboldened to the degree that they will openly call for it.

Like our brothers and sisters around the world, American Christians must prepare for suffering. But, like them, we mustn’t despair. For there are different kinds of suffering.

Suffering through cancer, for instance, can, and often does, lead to death. Without Christ, who is mankind’s only hope, such suffering is hopeless indeed.

Yet when a young mother suffers through child birth, and while she may experience the same level of pain as the cancer sufferer, her crying out elicits an entirely different response, and her pain serves an entirely different purpose. While one type of suffering leads to death, the other leads to life. While one attends sorrow, the other attends joy.

Similarly, there is a kind of suffering, suffering in sin, which leads to spiritual death, and a kind suffering, suffering in grace, which leads to spiritual life. Anti-Christian persecution, be it efforts to force Christians into disobedience to God, attempts to silence them outright or, worse, the torture, enslavement and even execution of Christ followers – now widespread in both Muslim and Marxist nations across the globe – signifies “the beginning of birth pains” (see Matthew 24:8). And birth pains lead to new life.

SOUTH CAROLINA Democrats Oppose Legislation That Would Ban Islamic Sharia Law from State Courts

The Republican-sponsored anti-sharia legislation which would ensure that Islamic and other foreign laws are kept out of consideration by South Carolina courts is being stonewalled by Democrat panderers who seek to appease Muslim supremacists pushing hard to get sharia law recognized by American courts.

Post and Courier: A vote on the anti-Sharia law bill was postponed until Tuesday at the earliest after an hours-long debate over Charleston Republican Rep. Chip Limehouse’s proposal. Limehouse has said a law is needed to prevent radical Islamic beliefs from infiltrating state courts. Democrats said the bill showed why the GOP was unfit to govern and why South Carolina is the butt of late-night television jokes. They accused Republicans of legislating off of Internet rumors.

Rep. James Smith, D-Columbia, called the bill “red meat” and “politics at its worst,” while Rep. Gilda Cobb-Hunter, D-Orangeburg, chastised Limehouse and others for having the wrong priorities.

Defenders of the measure said that events in Iraq and the growth of radical Islam in America mean that South Carolina should ensure that laws adhered to by militant groups like ISIS don’t end up in U.S. courts. Sharia law is also sometimes used in Muslim communities to settle contract disputes or family matters, although American courts are not bound by those rules. The terrorist group ISIS has used the 14th century laws to justify the beheading of prisoners in Syria and Iraq.

Limehouse has cited the Center for Security Policy, a conservative Washington, D.C.-based think tank, that has prompted states around the country to introduce laws banning the use of foreign or Sharia laws. The center has cited 146 cases in 32 states where Sharia law was used as a legal argument. Those states are Tennessee, Louisiana, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Washington, Alabama and Florida, according to the center.

A fear of Islamic law has grown particularly among conservative groups around the country as terrorist groups have carried out attacks and spread their message on social media. Rep. Joe Neal, D-Hopkins, said Republicans were fear-mongering. “Laws in this state ought to be based on our Constitution not on fear, not on suspicion,” he said. “We’re better than this because we don’t need to give in to fear … and the kind of low-brow politics this seems to represent.”

Hooligans destroy Veteran’s Monument

Liberals have always disrespected the military, while acting as if they care for America’s warriors. This disdain for our fighting men and women is evident in how they are treated at the Veteran’s Administration hospitals, where the government is embroiled in scandal.

That’s not the only place veterans are being shown dishonor, as recently some of these disrespectful rogues vandalized the city of O’Fallon’s Veteran’s Monument.

Here is the press release on the incident.

On Monday, May 11, 2015, at approximately 9:00 a.m. O’Fallon City employees discovered that two large stone name panels, which are part of the O’Fallon City Veteran’s Monument, had been toppled and smashed sometime over the weekend. The cost to replace the two tablets and engraved names on each tablet is estimated to be over $10,000.00. The O’Fallon Police Department is investigating the damage as a criminal damage to property incident and is offering a $1,000.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible suspect(s).

Anyone having information regarding the damage should contact the O’Fallon Police Department at (618) 624-4545.

It’s doubtful they will catch these hooligans. But if they do, I would wish they would let me or some of my special forces friends have at them for just a minute.

This type of disrespect for America and our veterans is a direct result of Liberalism. I only wish I could fund to replace this monument, put up security, so it never happens again. And I would offer a $1 MILLION reward for information leading to the arrest!

Hi Ladies! Can’t Wait to Shower With You at the Health Club! The EEOC Says I Can!!

Seriously. We wouldn’t joke about this. Barack Obama’s EEOC has just ruled that guys can legally jump in the shower with you at the health club. Or any other public place for that matter. Oh, and forget about the ladies room.

The following is from a recent EEOC decision in a case filed by a transgender, civilian, Army employee who was still biologically a male.

“On this record, there is no cause to question that Complainant – who was assigned the sex of male at birth but identifies as female – is female.”

The decision was rendered on April Fools Day, but it’s not a joke. It’s now the law. What this means is that if a man suddenly decides he’s a woman, then, according to the law, he’s a woman. And you’ll be seeing him in the ladies room. Or, in the shower at your health club.

I wonder if this is what Obama was “evolving” on?

This is going to bring about a real cultural shift. Just imagine, every high school sports team will be majority-transgender. Of course, the law applies in both directions, so we expect that there might even be some transgender cheerleaders who would identify as male.

Hence, any guys who are nervous about using the girls’ showers may just have their showers invaded by girls-who-identify-as-male. High school will never be the same.

And then there’s the college-radical-feminist crowd. Heh.

Pass the popcorn please.

ISIS in America and the Importance of the Second Amendment

The push for gun control is a push for assured destruction. A well-armed American population will stop any attempt by Islamic extremists to coordinate a planned domestic terror attack using conventional weapons. I’m reminded of an exchange between Rick, Humphrey Bogart’s character in the film Casablanca (1942), and Major Heinrik Strasser (Conrad Veidt). It has relevance to what happened in Garland, Texas, where two radical Muslims tried to kill people at a First Amendment freedom of speech event.

The Associated Press reports, “An audio statement on the extremist group’s Al Bayan radio station said that ‘two soldiers of the caliphate’ carried out Sunday’s attack and promised the group would deliver more attacks in the future.”

Major Strasser: Are you one of those people who cannot imagine the Germans in their beloved Paris?

Rick: It’s not particularly my beloved Paris.

Heinz: Can you imagine us in London?

Rick: When you get there, ask me!

Major Strasser: How about New York?

Rick: Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn’t advise you to try to invade.

There are a great many places in the United States that I would advise radical Muslims not to go. At the present time, the United States would be difficult to invade, but if gun-control advocates get their way, it would be Red Dawn (1984 and 2012) with a different ending.

: “GOTTA LOVE TEXAS”

The man who is now leading the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISIL), once held as a prisoner by the United States, told his captors upon his release, “I’ll see you guys in New York.” This is why the Second Amendment is so important. As long as Americans are armed, there is little chance that Islamists will try to take over America from the inside. They will be hopelessly out armed.

They would have a very hard time where I live since everybody is heavily armed. Often I can hear gunfire. People are practicing. An 83,000-square-foot indoor gun range is in the works down the road from where I live. It’s “expected to include a 35,000 square-foot indoor sporting clay range, a 13,000 square-foot retail showroom and a 6,000 square-foot restaurant and lounge.”

Any discussion about the Second Amendment must take seriously the Islamic threat. The Second Amendment is not about hunting; it’s about defending ourselves from threats of force.

Consider the following from Breitbart. “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), sent a message to his fellow Sunni supporters to commemorate the Muslim holiday of Ramadan.

Baghdadi wrote:

“Soon, by Allah’s permission, a day will come when the Muslim will walk everywhere as a master, having honor, being revered, with his head raised high and his dignity preserved. Anyone who dares to offend him will be disciplined, and any hand that reaches out to harm him will be cut off.”

He went on to say, “This is my advice to you. If you hold to it, you will conquer Rome and own the world, if Allah wills.”

Europe is vulnerable because gun rights are limited. People in the United States are heavily armed. And that’s a good thing.

A Newcomer to Populism? Hillary Clinton Campaign Begs to Differ

CLAREMONT, N.H. — In her first week as a 2016 presidential candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton seemed to channel another high-profile Democrat. “The deck is stacked in their favor,” Mrs. Clinton said of the wealthy and powerful. “My job is to reshuffle the cards.” The line echoed a phrase that helped make Senator Elizabeth Warren the populist icon of her party. “The game is rigged,” Ms. Warren often says. “Rigged to work for those who have money and power.”

Before that there was Mrs. Clinton’s tribute to Ms. Warren in Time magazine. “She never hesitates to hold powerful people’s feet to the fire,” Mrs. Clinton wrote in the issue honoring the top 100 influential people.

For anyone who wondered what kind of economic message Mrs. Clinton would deliver in her campaign, the first few days made it clear: She is embracing the ideas trumpeted by Ms. Warren and the populist movement — that the wealthy have been benefiting disproportionately from the economy, while the middle class and the poor have been left behind. And the policies Mrs. Clinton is advancing, like paid sick leave for employees and an increase in the minimum wage, align with that emphasis.

But now, the former secretary of state must convince voters that she is the right messenger for the cause of inequality, not simply seizing on it out of political expedience. Nothing stings her inner circle more than the suggestion that their candidate is late to these issues. Mrs. Clinton was the original Elizabeth Warren, her advisers say, a populist fighter who for decades has been an advocate for families and children; only now have the party and primary voters caught up. “I don’t know why we have this semicollective amnesia about her past positions,” said Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress and Mrs. Clinton’s policy director in 2008. “She’s following no one on these issues.”

But affirming Mrs. Clinton’s sincerity as a populist, especially given her reputation for caution and careful consideration of political moves, is proving an uphill battle. The assessment by Bloomberg Politics after Mrs. Clinton’s first campaign stops was that she is “terrified of the left.”

It is easy to forget that for years, Mrs. Clinton weathered criticism that she was too liberal, the socialist foil to her husband’s centrist agenda. Economists in the Clinton administration referred to the first lady and her aides as “the Bolsheviks.” In Mrs. Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, she positioned herself as the populist candidate to the left of Barack Obama on several economic issues, angering some of her Wall Street donors and earning broad support among organized labor and working-class voters.

Advisers have lists at the ready outlining Mrs. Clinton’s calls as early as 2007 to eliminate the so-called carried interest loophole, roll back the Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy, impose tighter regulations on derivatives and place limits on chief executives’ compensation. “Let’s finally do something about the growing inequality that is tearing our country apart,” Mrs. Clinton said during her campaign, appearing at the Take Back America conference, a gathering of liberal groups, in June 2007. “The top 1 percent of our households hold 22 percent of our nation’s wealth. Enough with corporate welfare. Enough with golden parachutes. And enough with the tax incentives for companies to shift jobs overseas.”

A 16-page dossier, titled “Hillary Clinton: A Lifetime Champion of Income Opportunity” and assembled by a close friend and adviser to Mrs. Clinton, calls Ms. Warren a “footnote.” The document, provided to The New York Times, presents 40 instances in which Mrs. Clinton took the same stance as Ms. Warren on issues — from organized labor to tax increases on the wealthy — in some cases years before the senator’s ascent in the national spotlight.

But that was then and this is now, when everything Mrs. Clinton does will be viewed through the lens of a party under the influence of Ms. Warren and her blistering critique of the financial sector.

Robert B. Reich, a secretary of labor during the Clinton administration who has advised Mrs. Clinton’s campaign, said the comparison with Ms. Warren “personalizes it far too much.” … “This is a broad-based movement to take back our democracy and make the economy work for everybody instead of a small group at the top,” he said.

For seven years, Mrs. Clinton has been out of domestic policy, and in that time the populist movement caught fire. In the years Mrs. Clinton served as secretary of state and since she left the State Department in early 2013, she has become more associated with the centrist policies of the Bill Clinton years than with policies of raising taxes on the wealthy and increasing government services that have become widely adopted on the left. “This perception comes because she wasn’t involved in the discussion for so long,” Anita Dunn, a Democratic strategist, said of Mrs. Clinton. Because, she added, in the White House “she had this reputation as being the very left-wing, liberal, Elizabeth Warren type.”

During the same period when Mrs. Clinton was absent from domestic debates, the policies of the Bill Clinton years have been recast. In her 2008 campaign, Mrs. Clinton touted the prosperity of the 1990s. Today, the trade deals, Wall Street deregulation, and deficit reduction Mr. Clinton oversaw are often blamed as contributing to the current divide between a tiny sliver of the wealthiest and the vast majority of Americans.

“I remember when Bill Clinton was running in 1992 and his line was ‘putting people first,’” said Dean Baker, an economist and co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. “He just didn’t follow through on that,” and instead emphasized deficit reduction and trade deals, he added.

On Friday, Mrs. Clinton subtly distanced herself from the trade policies associated with the 1990s. In response to a trade agreement reached Thursday by Republican and Democratic leaders, her spokesman, Nick Merrill, said Mrs. Clinton believes that any trade deal should protect American workers, raise wages and create jobs in the United States. “The goal is greater prosperity and security for American families, not trade for trade’s sake,” Mr. Merrill said in a statement.

Mrs. Clinton will begin to present more specific policy proposals next month. In the meantime, she has expressed support for an increase in the minimum wage, paid family medical leave and closing corporate tax loopholes.

In a meeting with economists this year, Mrs. Clinton intensely studied a chart that showed income inequality in the United States. The graph charted how real wages, adjusted for inflation, had increased exponentially for the wealthiest Americans, making the bar so steep it hardly fit on the chart. Mrs. Clinton pointed at the top category and said the economy required a “toppling” of the wealthiest 1 percent, according to several people who were briefed on Mrs. Clinton’s policy discussions but could not discuss private conversations for attribution.

Still, Mrs. Clinton will pitch that “toppling” with a very different style than Ms. Warren, a bankruptcy expert whose populist message has been laser-focused on holding Wall Street accountable. Mrs. Clinton will present proposals for changes in the tax code as a way of also investing in education, infrastructure and communities.

Mrs. Clinton “wakes up asking how she can accomplish real things for families, not who she can attack,” said Gene B. Sperling, an economic adviser in the Clinton and Obama administrations. He added, “When she shows that fighting populist edge, it is for a purpose.”

SALEM — A measure that would require criminal background checks for private gun transfers in Oregon passed the Senate on a 17-13 vote Tuesday and now heads to the House. Democrats used their bigger majority to push the controversial gun bill through the Senate, which had blocked action on similar measures in 2013 and 2014. Sen. Betsy Johnson, D-Scappoose, joined all 12 Republicans in voting against the measure.

Under Senate Bill 941, Oregon would become the 12th state to require background checks on firearms sales and transfers between private individuals. Those purchasing guns from licensed dealers and at gun shows in Oregon are already required to submit to background checks to see if they are legally prohibited from owning a gun. Felons, domestic abuse offenders and those committed for mental health treatment are among those legally barred from holding guns.

Supporters portrayed the measure as a way to close a loophole that has allowed criminals to easily purchase guns from individuals, particularly those who may advertise on the internet. Critics said the law was not enforceable and would do nothing to reduce crime rates. They also said it would pose a major burden on gun owners by forcing them to pay unnecessary fees for background checks, even when they are lending guns to friends.

“The list of untenable situations goes on and on,” said Sen. Kim Thatcher, R-Keizer, noting that it would require background checks for someone who wanted to give guns to a friend to get them out of his or her home because someone in the family is in crisis.

Sen. Floyd Prozanski, D-Eugene, the sponsor of the bill, said there are several ways that people can keep their guns secure without running afoul of the bill. He noted that there were several exemptions, including for transfers among family members and those lending a gun for hunting.

Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum, D-Portland, said the “minor inconveniences” of the expanded background checks were outweighed by the gains in safety.

“This is the same system that has been working well for gun owners and gun dealers for years,” she said.

Woman Attacks Pregnant Mom and Cuts 7-Month-Old Baby Out of Her Womb

On Wednesday, Dynel Catrece Lane was arrested after she attacked a pregnant woman and cut her 7-month-old unborn baby from her womb. In this unbelievable act of violence, the baby died but the woman is expected to survive. Lane is scheduled to appear in court today and is being accused of three criminal felonies: attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault and child abuse knowingly/recklessly resulting in death.

According to CBS News, the suspect was arrested at Longmont United Hospital after she and her husband came in with the deceased baby. Apparently Lane’s husband didn’t know about the crime and thought she miscarried their baby. He drove her to the hospital but is not considered a suspect. Lane has at least two children who live with her at their home in Longmont, Colorado. The victim was seven-months pregnant and was visiting Lane’s home to buy baby clothes advertised on Craigslist.

A 911 recording shows the baby breathed a heavy last gasp before she died.

Police s pokesman, Jeff Satur , said, “This is a tragic case for a mother right now. She came by this house. She was attacked, and her baby was removed from her. We’ve made some requests of Craigslist to try to freeze that account. At this point, we don’t want to give away too much, because we don’t want it removed.” He added, “Officers arrived on scene and could hear a female calling for help inside the home. Officers entered the home and located a female who had been beaten and stabbed in the stomach.”

Boulder County’s District Attorney, Stan Garnett, said his office will consider what formal charges to file. He said, “The issues involving an unborn child are complicated under Colorado law. In most circumstances, if a child was not actually born alive, then homicide charges are not possible.” Unfortunately, prosecutors will not be able to bring charges for the unborn child’s death because Colorado state law does not regard unborn children as human beings who deserve justice when they are killed. In 2013, Colorado Democrats killed a bill that would add the state to the list of more than 25 states that provide justice and protection for pregnant women and unborn children.

As LifeNews previously reported, many states recognize the unlawful killing of an unborn child as homicide in at least some circumstances. Colorado Rep. Janak Joshi supported the 2013 bill and hoped the committee would approve it. He said, “…Colorado law has a glaring loophole that fails to protect unborn children who are harmed or killed during the commission of a crime. In the past, pro-abortion legislators have tried to dismiss this type of bill as unnecessary. Even though this bill is not about abortion, the radical pro-abortion lobby is pulling out all the stops to defeat this bill. In fact, Planned Parenthood has publicly admitted that they refuse to give even an inch when it comes to protecting pre-born babies.”

Liberalism & Religion: A Vexing Dichotomy

It’s a generally accepted rule of thumb that there are inherent risks associated with writing/blogging while angry… and that doing so should be avoided… but I intend to ignore that this morning.

It really chaps my gluteus maximus whenever I see the term “nuttery of the Christian right”, or any number of the other happily accepted terms of denigration that emanate like a stale odor from the so-called “liberal” or “progressive left”.You know…for all the promises that have been made and been broken over the years since this notion of “liberalism” began to get its hands around the throat of American culture, all I can see from my spot up here in the cheap seats is a wasteland of moral and human corruption and decay.

Don’t get me wrong-I am perfectly okay with them exercising their rights to do all the foolish and self-destructive things they do, but I’ve had my fill of the bloody lot of them mocking those of us who do not share their warped sense of self glorification and general outlook on life and the human experience or their enthusiasm for trying to destroy it in others who do not see the world as they do.

It is my humble opinion that, under their tutelage, ours is fast-becoming a country that is nearly as repressive and repressed as those others around the world liberals insist on trying to convert to our way of doing things. One need not look very far to see how well that’s working out.

It was the indirectly related article over at Salon Magazine linked above (I know… I know…) that got me thinking about the “have it both ways” problem on the left; it’s an inherent flaw in the ideology to presume you can succeed by tearing down others who succeed in order to create a victim class you can provide for and ultimately control. This approach to governance-without fail-leads to rebellion and revolt but this flaw hasn’t discouraged them from trying over, and over, and over again to perfect it.

It seems that no one ever told them the joke about the definition of “insanity”.

With all that in mind, and given the state of affairs in the Middle East these days – and the rise of apocalyptic pursuits of some severely unhinged people – I shouldn’t have been surprised by the Salon article and its author’s Snoopy dance over news that our own culture is increasingly becoming God-averse. I shouldn’t have, but – sadly – I was.

And yet here we are… in the matter of this ISIS madness… hearing the liberal rallying cry to search for all the ways in which ISIS came to be because of the evils of Western society (which, remember, liberals are currently in charge of), asking us to try to “relate” to them… to somehow try to understand and embrace their alleged “plight”. I’m honestly more than a little surprised that liberals are this stupid, but I guess I shouldn’t be. One has to admit, though, that we are staring down the barrel of one helluva paradigm shift.

I can’t help but ask though: why is it that liberals have no tolerance for a God-based belief system in America while falling all over themselves to embrace one thousands of miles away?

Perhaps it is a rhetorical question. You only need to slog through the first paragraph of the Salon piece to get what I’m trying to say here:

With fire-breathing religion figuring anew in global conflicts, and political discussions at home often dominated by the nuttery of the Christian right, you might get the sense that somebody’s god is ready to mug you around every street corner. But if you’re the type who doesn’t like to hang your hat on organized religion, here’s a bit of good news: In America, your numbers are growing.

As Commidus said, in the movie “Gladiator”: It vexes me. I’m terribly vexed.

I get it – I really get it- conservatives are bad, liberals are good, Salon (and other mags like theirs) say so therefore it must be true. And while the Salon piece has nothing to do with ISIS (per se), it begs the question my liberal friends can’t answer which is simply:

How is it possible that a group of people, hiding behind the words of their greatest spiritual leader – brutally murdering innocent people while justifying their actions by invoking his name – get any mercy whatsoever while so many Christian Americans continue to be witch-hunted into underground bunkers and relative obscurity for trying to follow the teachings of, and live by, the examples of love and personal sacrifice of Christianity’s spiritual leader?

For my money, I’m betting it’s because they are afraid we may be right about heaven and hell and they won’t have a plausible excuse for their lives and how they lived them, having nothing but disdain for our spiritual leader as they spent their days stomping their feet all over his teachings, mocking and rebuking him.

I’m guessing it will be getting a little warm when they’re having that little chin whack with St. Peter at the pearly gates.

Anonymous blogger Publius Huldah attacks the Founder’s solution for a runaway federal government with a series of ad hominems and misdirections. A perpetual naysayer, she can propose no better solution of her own, other than the extra-constitutional doctrine of nullification. Huldah betrays her lack of credibility in the opening line of her email when she says there is no such thing as a Convention of States. Contrary to her assumption, that phrase is not a fabrication of ours. It comes from the very first Article V application which was filed by the state of Virginia in 1789.1 If she objects to that phrase, she had best take it up with the Founders. The bulk of her article is a giant ad hominem directed against our organization and Professor Robert Natelson. Behind all this bluster, her argument rests on two easily refuted facts: (1) the Constitutional Convention of 1787 was a runaway convention, and (2) James Madison had concerns that Article V didn’t lay out the convention process in sufficient detail. I have already debunked the first claim as a myth in my response to Mr. DeWeese, so here I will focus on the second.

It is true that at the Constitutional Convention Madison raised some questions about “the form, quorum, &c” of such a convention. But according to Madison’s own notes, the motion to add a Convention of States to Article V passed “nem. con.” “without objection.”2 Apparently Madison had his doubts put to rest, or he didn’t consider them important enough to vote against the proposed change to Article V. If a Convention of States were the terrible constitutional reset button that Huldah describes, surely Madison, or at least one of the other Framers, would have voted against it.

As it turns out, the Founders strongly supported it. In fact, Madison later expressed his staunch support for Article V in Federalist No. 43. In praise of Article V he wrote:

“The mode preferred by the convention, seems to be stamped with every mark of propriety. It guards against that extreme facility, which would render the constitution too mutable; and that extreme difficulty, which might perpetuate its discovered faults.”

There can be no doubt that Madison, like the other Founders, was a champion for Article V.

Mr. DeWeese and Ms. Huldah can’t get their own story straight. DeWeese attacks the credibility of the Founders, particularly James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, by accusing them of illegally adopting the Constitution. Huldah, on the other hand, expects us to venerate this supposed tyrant and hang on his every word. How strange that they should so heavily rely on the same man they accuse of a felony.

Of course, as I have argued at length, history vindicates Madison and the other Framers. We are quite right to listen to them, and their unanimous support for a Convention of States speaks volumes.

I gather from Obama’s “free” community college proposal that his plan for dealing with the Republican Congress over the next two years is to throw out ridiculously expensive ideas no one has ever heard of before, and then denounce Republicans for being naysayers.

Community college is already incredibly inexpensive. The only thing that will jack up the price is making it “free.” How about a big federal program to provide every American with free toilet paper? Coincidentally, that’s about all most college degrees are good for these days.

Obama’s moronic proposal has presented the GOP with a fantastic opportunity. Since he brought it up, how about Republicans get to the bottom of why college is so expensive?

The cost of a college education has increased by more than 1,000 percent only since 1978. Nothing else has gone up that much — not health care, consumer goods, or home prices. The explosion in college tuition bears no relation to anything happening in the economy.

Would anyone argue that colleges are providing a better education today than in 1978? I promise you: People coming out of college in the ’50s knew more than any recent Yale graduate — unless we’re only counting knowledge of sexual practices once considered verboten.

They’re teaching gender studies, ethnic studies, moral equivalence, and hatred of America. Did the Japanese Really Start World War II or Did We? It’s worse than not reading Shakespeare. They’re reading Shakespeare for homosexual imagery. As Yale professor Daniel Gelernter says, colleges are “threatening to become an elaborate, extremely expensive practical joke.”

The fact that 80 percent of Weathermen — the violent ’60s radicals — are full college professors tells you all you need to know about the state of higher education today. The cost of college spirals continuously upward not because the product has gotten better — it’s gotten much, much worse — but because college loans are backed by the taxpayer. The government is chasing its tail every time it increases student financial aid. If the government hiked college loans and subsidies by $1 million per student, colleges would promptly raise tuition to: (current tuition) plus $1 million.

Americans are being bamboozled into paying any price for a college degree because they are relentlessly told that if they don’t go to college, their lives will be hell. And they’re told this not only by the colleges, but by the government. The sales pitch is manifestly false. According to an article by Adam Davidson in the New York Times magazine last June, “(m)ore than half of recent college graduates are unemployed or underemployed, meaning they make substandard wages in jobs that don’t require a college degree.” Evidently, most jobs don’t depend on a degree in women’s studies. More than a third of college graduates, Davidson says, will never make enough money to repay their student loans.

If any other business made such false claims about a product, there would be massive congressional hearings, media denunciations, and prison sentences for the CEOs. A college degree is the most expensive purchase most families will ever make, other than their home.

Right before our eyes, Democrats are colluding with colleges to create a market bubble for an increasingly worthless product, and they’re doing it by making the exact same promise that banks made about home mortgages before the housing market crash: Sure it’s a lot, but it’s an investment in your future! Instead of hauling college administrators to court, Democrats are active participants in the fraud, acting as Big Education’s carnival barkers. It’s as if the government is telling people: “If you don’t smoke, you’ll never be cool.”

Why is the left not willing to admit that education is an industry, just like Lockheed Martin, Enron, or Philip Morris? Democrats love to rail about the high costs of everything else — pharmaceuticals, health care, mortgages, missile systems, contraception, and so on. College is a business, too — a cartel that fixes prices, preys on teenagers, and lies to consumers. But liberals won’t make a peep about the College Industrial Complex because college professors are brainwashing students into leftist politics. Every year, another 10 million graduates emerge, hating God, their parents, America, and Republicans. For this, parents are spending $50,000 a year.

The education industry is how leftists make capitalists pay for socialism. It was a smart move for cultural Marxists to capture the country’s education establishment. GOOD THINKING, CULTURAL MARXISTS!

It’s not the fault of the students that they’re getting a crappy product at inflated prices. They’ve been lied to by shady education peddlers, including the Democratic Party. Let’s see if the middle class is more interested in the cost of college tuition or the Democrats’ endless global warming initiatives.

A startling new anti-gun ad released by a San Francisco-based production company encourages children to commit a series of crimes by stealing their parents’ guns and turning them over to school officials, The Daily Caller reported Monday.

Sleeper 13 Productions released the controversial video on Dec. 13. It shows a pouty, young boy wandering into his parents’ bedroom, stealing a handgun out of their dresser drawer and then shoving it into his backpack.

The boy then carries what is presumably a loaded weapon into his classroom. After class, he approaches the teacher, takes the gun out of his backpack and slams it onto her desk.

“Can you take this away? I don’t feel safe with a gun in my house,” the boy says.

“Our children deserve a safe world,” the ad says. “Stop gun violence now.”

The video, first reported by The Blaze, has been met with sharp criticism from gun-rights activists on Sleeper 13’s Facebook page.

“Weapons theft, unlawful possession of a weapon by a minor, illegal concealed carry of a weapon, carrying a weapon onto school property, assault, and brandishing,” wrote Jerry Harlan.

On YouTube, the video had received more than 3,500 down votes, compared to its 31 up votes.

“Lot of people are afraid to share my PSA!” tweeted the ad’s director, Rejina Sincic. “If you are not a coward please share #gunviolence.”

Fred Rick Friedman questioned on Facebook: “So, when a child does this and accidentally kills himself or an innocent bystander, will Sleeper 13 Productions and Ragina Sincic be brought up on charges as an accessory? This has got to be one of the dumbest PSA’s put out by anti-gunners ever. Way to combat criminal violence…turn innocent children into felons.”

According to the credits, the video was shot at North Oakland Community Charter School in Oakland. The school’s executive director, Carolyn Gramstorff, told The Washington Times that officials did grant permission for the PSA to be shot there, but were not aware beforehand of its message. In light of the controversial video, she said the school is motivated to consider narrowing its screening process for allowing PSAs to be shot on campus.

Hillary Clinton is taking heat for saying America should “empathize” and show “respect” for its enemies.

The former secretary of State, who is considered a likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, made the remarks during a speech Wednesday at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Touting an approach she calls “smart power,” Clinton urged America to use “every possible tool and partner” to advance peace.

This, she said, includes “leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view.”

At a time when the U.S. military is launching airstrikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, some called the comments out of place.

Former Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North, a Fox News host, said the comments are “irrational.”

“I can’t think of a presidential candidate who would have said those kinds of things,” he said. “Think about December 7, 1941 and then FDR going to the Congress of the United States the next day saying, ‘We need to have more empathy for Japan.’”

North added: “If you’re going to run for president of the United States, you cannot talk that way about the people who intend to kill us. Who are dying to kill us. … This is capitulation.”

Karl Rove, former George W. Bush adviser and Fox News analyst, called Clinton’s remarks the “wrong language.”

New Studies on Voter ID Laws DESTROY This Major Claim By Liberals

With President Obama’s recent immigration executive order–the one that gives 5 million lawbreakers a “get out of jail free card” to stay in America–it’s more important than ever for states to pass voter ID laws requiring folks to provide proof of identity at the polls.

This should seem like common sense given the fact that it’s likely many of those immigrants who will be allowed to stay will feel indebted to the Democratic Party, and if allowed, will gladly cast a vote in favor of bogus radical progressives bent on the destruction of America.

Unfortunately, liberals are working overtime to try dissuading Americans from being in favor of any kind of measure that would protect the integrity of the voting system, using their favorite go-to weapon to shame people into not supporting voter ID laws: racism.

Kooky liberals claim that these type of laws “suppress minority voters,” therefore it’s racist to pass and enforce them. Never mind the fact that you need an ID to drive, buy beer, get a gun, and the list goes on.

Well, according to the New York Times, several freshly conducted studies say liberals spewing out this garbage are full of crap.

As the Brennan Center puts it in the second sentence of their article: “Yes, it is likely rare for an election to be close enough for voter ID laws to swing the outcome.”

The Brennan Center instead disputes my contention that studies tend to “overstate the number of voters who truly lack identification.”

My position on the matter, setting aside whether the laws are a cynical attempt to disenfranchise Democratic voters, is based on these facts: Many studies do not use robust matching techniques when comparing state voter registration and licensing databases (and robust matching, even when used, isn’t perfect); and many studies fail to match voter registration files with alternative forms of identification, like United States passports or military identification.

The studies with the most sensational and widely publicized findings have generally failed to do these things. The most famous of these was a study finding that 758,000 of Pennsylvania’s registered voters lacked identification. It caused liberals to wonder whether voter ID laws could steal elections. The result was publicized by the Brennan Center, but more rigorous studies have since cut that figure nearly in half.

Boom.

I hate to break it to you, Mr. Liberal, but voter ID laws aren’t any more racist than requiring an ID to buy a beer.

With the state of our country currently going down the crapper–due to a president who claims to be a constitutional scholar, yet for some reason can’t seem to grasp the concept of a separation of powers–it’s more critical than ever to protect the integrity of the voting system.

Voting is the most powerful weapon the average citizen possess to fight out of control government. If this is corrupted, then the great American experiment we’ve all been privileged to be a part of is over.

This study should help open some eyes about the fairness and effectiveness of voter ID laws to help prevent voter fraud and inspire other states around the nation to adopt them as quickly as possible.

Liberals tout their mission of standing up for women, blacks, homosexuals, illegals, corpses, and anyone else who they believe they can trick. The left puts minorities into their respective boxes and makes them believe they stand for them. In reality, minorities are being stood on; the left cannot win with their awful platform unless they have blind obedience.

Liberals sell this snake oil by claiming tolerance, but tolerant liberals are like Bigfoot. Millions believe even though the proof is not in Bigfoot’s favor. Show a liberal a woman who is pro-life and they’ll tell you how much that woman hates herself and her own gender. Show a liberal a black conservative and they say he’s a misguided Uncle Tom or token.

The left has an ever-increasing intolerance for Christianity, but largely offers a warm embrace to Muslims. The logic behind this is so frustratingly flawed. Muslims kill gay people for being gay, women for being raped, and other Muslims for speaking out of turn. There is no greater intolerance than that of Islam, yet these same liberals who scream peace and love fail to see the vicious murder, hate, and inhumanity.

The gays uniting with Muslims should keep their ignorance out of the Middle East, where they would not be accepted or tolerated like they are in America. In the Middle East, they would be imprisoned and killed.

Indeed, it seems that gays and Muslims have a common enemy: Christians who object to a radical transformation for America. However, both parties should be careful when buying into the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” mantra as the gay community and the Islamic community may be united in their intolerance of Christianity, but remain virulently at-odds in virtually every other fashion.

Ken Cuccinelli, President of the Senate Conservatives reports about The Shameful Seven.

In his report, Cuccinelli (left) lists links to easily post comments on their Facebook pages and on Twitter to spread the word.

Seven Republican senators have now been linked to the racial attacks against conservative Chris McDaniel in Mississippi.

The financial report for Thad Cochran’s super PAC was released earlier this week and contains two alarming details.

First, it shows that the following seven GOP senators gave a total of $160,000 to Thad Cochran’s super PAC:

1. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) — $50,000
2. Bob Corker (R-TN) — $30,000
3. Rob Portman (R-OH) — $25,000
4. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) — $25,000
5. Richard Burr (R-NC) — $20,000
6. Roy Blunt (R-MO) — $5,000
7. Mike Crapo (R-ID) — $5,000

Second, it shows that the PAC then gave a similar amount to a liberal group to run racial attacks against Chris McDaniel.

These senators fully funded ads that urged Democrats to cross over and vote in the republican primary and claimed that a McDaniel win would be a loss “for race relationships between blacks and whites.”

These seven Republican senators not only supported a 41-year incumbent who regularly votes with the Democrats, but they also funded a shadowy group to get Democrats to hijack the election. There were 25 other Senators who contributed to other PACS that were for Cochran, and there are only 12 Senators who did not contribute any money at all for Cochran.

The Thad Cochran super PAC run by Haley Barbour is the one that funded a shadowy group to get Democrats to hijack the election. Shameful. As Cuccinelli remarks; “These seven senators need to pay a heavy price for their actions…” But will they?

Regardless of what you may think, I care about the victims and their families. That is why I fight for the 2nd Amendment. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Such was the case with Elliot Rodger.

If you think for one second that guns are the problem then you are being misled and are now part of the problem. This was my objection to the father of one of the victim’s blaming gun owners for his son’s death.

There is absolute right and wrong, there is good and evil, unfortunately society tries to redefine right and wrong as it gets in their way.

What happened this past weekend was a tragedy, and the powers that be will USE this tragedy to try and control us a little more. What about the American soldier that died defending our rights? Is there death any less tragic? Let me say this again – they died defending our rights. Why would we allow the politicians to make a mockery of their sacrifice to a take away our rights?

Think about it…

How Liberalism Violates All 10 Commandments

One of my readers, we’ll call him Moses, is the publisher of a mainstream newspaper in California. He wrote me the other day with an insightful observation. Since Moses works in one of the most liberal industries, in one of the most liberal states in the union, I won’t divulge his real name. We don’t want Moses tarred, feathered and banished to Oklahoma with a scarlet “C,” for Christian, emblazoned on his Harris Tweed sport coat. (Note: I have antipathy toward neither Oklahoma – I once lived there – nor Harris Tweed, though I do recommend against wearing Harris Tweed in Oklahoma. Especially in the summer.)

“Matt, think about this,” wrote Moses. “Every one of the Ten Commandments is explicitly violated by a principle of the left.”

So I thought about it.

And you know what? Slap me with a Red River catfish if Moses ain’t exactly right.

To be sure, as individuals, we’ve all violated many, if not most or all, of the 10 Commandments. In our fallen, sinful state we have an inherent propensity to rebel against God’s perfect and holy will for our lives. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Thank God for making available a path, narrow as it is, for eternal redemption and salvation through Christ Jesus.

Still, there is a difference between individual sins and a philosophical worldview that embraces those sins as a matter of course. Modern liberalism – “progressivism,” leftism, secularism, pick your poison – is built upon, by and for sin itself. Liberalism’s entire fabric is constructed by precept planks that are soaked through and stained by man’s arrogant rebellion against our Creator God.

In sum, liberalism is folly. It represents man’s futile attempt to disorder God’s natural order. It’s the unholy brainchild of God’s very first enemy, given by that enemy to God’s favored creation, us, with the sole purpose of destroying that creation.

Unfortunately, we’re all too happy to help. Liberalism just formalizes the process, making sin public policy.

Volumes could be penned on the myriad ways in which the central tenets of liberalism violate each of the Ten Commandments. The following is a much truncated analysis:

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17):

1. Thou Shalt Have No Gods Before Me.

At worst, liberalism denies the very existence of God in the forms of atheism and secularism, while, at best, it adopts that wonderfully “inclusive” blasphemy called religious pluralism. Pluralism presumes to give the false gods of false religions equal footing and denies Christ as He defined Himself: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Liberal “Christianity” falls under this category. It’s pluralism with a Christian stamp.

Secular humanism, liberalism’s prevailing false religion, denies God altogether and crowns man as king over himself and the measure of all things. “Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.”

2. Thou Shalt Not Make Graven Images.

We’re talking idolatry here. Liberalism is built on it. First, there’s literal idolatry (the worship of man-made idols, animals or inanimate objects) enjoyed by our New Age friends. And then there’s everything else: pantheistic environmentalism, the idols of “reproductive freedom,” “sexual liberation and equality,” etc.

Essentially, liberalism worships the created over the Creator. Liberalism also worships the sins of the flesh (see Commandments No. 1, 6 and 7).

3. Thou Shalt Not Take the Lord’s Name in Vain.

To deny God is to take the Lord’s name in vain.
To deny God as He defines Himself is to take the Lord’s name in vain.
To misrepresent God, to call other gods God or to deny the deity of Christ is to take the Lord’s name in vain.

Liberalism does this and much more. Many liberals also mock Christ, Christianity and Christians. They revile the exclusive nature of Jesus, His commands and His faithful followers. They hate truth.

4. Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath.

This one is a bit tricky as it is widely understood to fall under the Jewish ceremonial law, not the moral law – the old covenant, not the new. Christ Himself healed (worked) on the Sabbath. That said, many Christians still view Sunday as the Sabbath and do, indeed, keep it holy. Not all liberals (there are certainly liberal Jews), but liberalism at large denies the Sabbath any significance whatsoever, much less a holy significance.

5. Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother.

Liberalism seeks to supplant parents with “progressive” government. It diminishes parental rights and encourages children to rebel against the antiquated conventions held by mom and dad. It denies that children even need a mother and father and bristles at the “heteronormative” lack of “gender neutrality” inherent within the very words “mother and father.” The sin-centered, counter-biblical notion of “gay marriage” desecrates God’s design for true marriage and family and is intended to undermine these cornerstone institutions.

6. Thou Shalt Not Murder.

Abortion,
euthanasia,
“pro-choice,”
“reproductive rights,”
“death with dignity.”

Need I say more? Sacrosanct is the liberal rite of passage for a feminist mother to slaughter her own child in the womb. Fifty-five million dead babies later, liberals continue to worship at the pagan altar of “choice” (see Commandments No. 1 and 2).

7. Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery.

This means all sexual immorality as identified in the scriptures, to include

marital infidelity,
fornication,
homosexuality,
bestiality,
incest,
et al.

Liberalism, it seems, embraces all perversions of God’s design for human sexuality. Central to liberalism is moral relativism. When it comes to sex, you can do no wrong because there is no wrong.

8. Thou Shalt Not Steal.

With class warfare as its fuel, liberalism embraces the redistributionist philosophies of Marx and Engels. Liberalism thrives on theft. Like some completely incompetent and inefficient Robin Hood, liberal government steals from the middle class to give to the poor, thereby ensuring that liberal politicians remain in power and everyone else remains miserable.

9. Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness.

I give you Saul Alinsky from his Rules for Radicals:

“The third rule of ethics of means and ends is that in war the end justifies almost any means.”

As we’ve learned from Barack “you can keep your insurance” Obama, that includes lying. Liberals lie. That’s what they do. The ends justify the means. Bearing false witness about detractors of liberalism is par for the course.

10. Thou Shalt Not Covet.

Again, liberalism uses man’s inherent covetousness as the driving force behind all liberal economic policies. Creating a political climate of economic envy and class warfare gives liberal government the cover needed to take wealth from those who produce and redistribute it to those who don’t. Not only does liberalism violate this commandment, liberalism commands its adherents to do the exact opposite. “Thou shalt covet.”

As Satan “masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14), so, too, does liberalism masquerade as good. It’s deceptively packaged in flowery euphemisms and feel-good sound bites that promise “equality,” “tolerance” and libertine notions of “social justice.”

Yet, in reality, liberalism, in both philosophical and practical terms, simply signifies man’s predisposition to “call evil good and good evil.” It’s sin, all dolled up and doled out.

Ronald Reagan once quipped, “I have wondered at times what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress.”

If the Gipper had lived another couple decades, he might’ve found out.

If you think there’s a magical force field like in the movie Men In Black, protecting our Constitution from alien attack, sorry Slick, but we need to talk.

The Constitution doesn’t defend itself, and we don’t get to cruise along on the momentum of the people who fought before us. Liberalism, Collectivism, Marxism, Socialism, or whatever the kids these days are calling the cancerous tumor on society that is at its core Statism, does…not…sleep.

The only cavalry is you and me, standing up, shouting “‘Molon Labe, MoFo!”

The left wing is so emboldened, that they now are attack in broad daylight. This is not the ‘intellectual elite’, hawking Marxist pretzel-logic in Ivy League poli-sci courses. This is mainstream media and retail politics stealing your crap right from under your nose.

There are two bills currently moving though Congress right now, whose purpose is to criminalize “hate speech.”

Spoiler alert: it’s not the “kill cracker babies” uttered by the New Black Panther Party, nor is it Guy Cimbalo’s piece on “Conservative women I’d love to rape.”

No the “hate speech” Congress wants to kill is more the “marriage is between a man and woman” type.

Hate-speech is not when New York governor Andrew Cuomo declares the 2nd Amendment invalid, and openly discusses confiscating firearms. Nor is it hate-speech when a Seattle Socialist politician called for workers to “take over the Boeing factory.”

It’s not hate-speech, when Obama made it clear that he doesn’t care about the people and our silly laws: Congress makes the laws; he may enforce some of them.

It’s not in the mainstream media’s Liberal DNA to even recognize these stories, much less consider them hateful.

To recognize such utterances is to acknowledge the disease. If you don’t discuss the problem, it doesn’t exist. The infringement on your freedom of speech doesn’t exist, nor is there an attempt to take your guns. SHHHH…

Leftists like to quiet people (who disagree with them).

Quiet people don’t question why freedom of speech only applies to people who think the way they do. Quiet people don’t ask why gun control cities are the most dangerous cities in the world. Quiet people don’t ask how we’re supposed to ‘COEXIST’ with someone who thinks homosexuality is a death-penalty sin.

QUIET. So they can go on about the business of making us equal. Equally poor. Equally obedient. Equally defenseless. They can and do punish dissidents who step out of line.

Even still. Let’s get to steppin’. Or you can just go back to tiptoeing…quietly.

So-called “gun-free zones” are lightning rods for mass murder. It’s time we climbed down from cliff’s edge.

This week America mourns yet another needless and preventable mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. When will gun-grabbing liberals learn?

In a blunt and provocatively titled, though well-reasoned post, submitted shortly after Wednesday’s shooting, Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft charged: “Obama Is Responsible for Latest Fort Hood Murders – Still a Gun-Free Zone.”

Wrote Hoft:

“In 2009 Islamist killer Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others at Fort Hood, Texas. Fort Hood was a gun-free zone.

“Hasan reportedly screamed, ‘Allahu Akbar!’ as he committed his mass murder. …

“Barack Obama termed this Islamic terrorist attack – workplace violence. Complete lunacy.

“After the first mass killing nothing changed. Fort Hood is still a gun-free zone. President Bill Clinton’s gun-free policies are still in place.

“Today there was another mass shooting at Fort Hood. Soldiers were told to take cover and hide like cowards as a crazed gunman shot at least 14 Americans on base. The shooter, Ivan Lopez, then shot himself in the head.

“These deaths are the result of failed policies. These deaths are the result of a dangerous ‘gun free zone’ policy.

“The Obama administration is responsible for this mass shooting. They witnessed this before. They didn’t learn a thing. Gun-free zones are death zones,” concluded Hoft.

Of course, no one but Ivan Lopez is responsible for his own criminally horrific actions. Still, this Obama administration is likewise responsible for its own criminally horrific incompetence.

By maintaining his demonstrably failed “gun-free zone” policy at Fort Hood (anywhere for that matter), Obama may as well have beaconed: “Hey, would-be mass murderers, we’ve still got some unarmed soldiers here. Come and finish ‘em off!”

This president is undeniably culpable. His reckless insistence upon preserving this obtuse, liberal – but I repeat myself – gun-grabbing policy rendered defenseless, once again, the fine servicemen and women of Fort Hood. It kept in place the same mass-murder-rich environment in which Nidal Malik Hasan committed the first Fort Hood “fish-in-a-barrel” soldier hunt.

And the only people surprised are you gun-control nutters.

Here’s the thing about liberalism, which is really cultural Marxism, euphemistically tagged “progressivism”: It’s never worked and it never will. It can’t. It’s a material impossibility. “Progressivism” can no more work than can one answer a nonsense question like, “How big is blue?” As with all similar such humanistic efforts to achieve a man-made earthly utopia, “progressivism” is a hopeless non-starter.

Why? Because “progressivism” is utterly detached from reality. There’s truth, and then there’s “progressivism.” Central to every single “progressive” policy, without exception, is the fatally flawed denial of the existence of sin – of man’s fallen nature. There’s also a stupidly stubborn refusal to acknowledge the reality of moral absolutes. “Progressivism” is built upon a utopian, relativist house of cards; and when that house comes crashing down, the results are often deadly.

On Wednesday America witnessed liberalism’s deadly results first hand. A public policy that intentionally disarms American citizens – much less American soldiers – is a policy that creates a pond full of sitting ducks; this, whether we have a terrorist behind the trigger, or a government with designs on tyranny.

Notice a trend here? What do;

Sandy Hook Elementary,
Aurora Colorado’s Century 16 theatre,
Columbine,
Fort Hood No. 1 and
Fort Hood No. 2 all have in common?

They’re all “gun-free zones.”

Oh, that rather than “gun-free zone,” each of these terror sites had a sign reading: “Staff heavily armed and trained. Any attempts to harm those herein will be met with deadly force.”

Might some of those beautiful souls have yet died before one or more well-armed good guys could take out the well-armed bad guys? Perhaps. But how many precious lives could have been saved?

Albert Einstein famously quipped that the definition of “insanity” is “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” In that sense, “progressives” are insane.

Or are they? “Crazy like a fox” maybe?

Either way, they’re certainly no Einsteins.

Even so, I’ll admit that many “progressives” are generally well-meaning and decent people. I even have a handful of “progressive” friends who’ve yet to see the light. I love ‘em, but they just want what they can’t have – at least not until that glorious last trumpet.

They want heaven on earth.

It’s not for a lack of sincerity that “progressives” are destroying America.

It’s for a failure to grasp reality.

Kerry Condemns Nigeria for Ban on Same Sex Marriage Not for Slaughter of Christians

For the past several years, Muslims have been attacking Christians in countries like Nigeria and the United States government has said nothing to condemn the slaughter.

Like many nations in the area and in the Middle East, Nigeria is predominately Muslim. However, there is a significant Christian population that lives in the northern regions of the African nation. However, Nigeria’s Muslims are determined to eradicate their country of any and all Christians.

I’ve written in the past of Christians being slaughtered in Nigeria. In one attack, a Muslim suicide bomber attacked a Christian church during services, killing 15 and wounding 40 others. Since many Christians attend church on Christmas Day, this has become a favorite time for Muslim attacks. On one recent Christmas Day, Muslims bombed several Christian churches in northern Nigeria, killing at least 25 and wounding dozens more. After these Christmas Day attacks, the Obama administration issued an impersonal short condemnation and nothing more was said or done.

In mid-November last year, Ann Buwalda, Executive Director of Jubilee Campaign said that around 1,200 Christians had been killed in northern Nigeria. She didn’t say how many more had been wounded in the attacks, but surely it was several thousand. Speaking to the Christian Post, she said:

“We documented 1,200 Nigerian Christians in the North of Nigeria who were killed, some by Boko Haram, some by Fulani herdsmen. These two types of attacks are persistent within several of the Northern Nigerian states.”

“With our statistic of more Christians have been killed in Northern Nigeria than the rest of the world combined.”

“Statistically, we are looking at approximately 60 percent of the world’s Christians that were killed for their faith last year was in Northern Nigeria.”

With Nigeria being the center of Christian genocide in the world, all US Secretary of State John Kerry can condemn Nigeria for is their recent ban on same sex marriages. After Nigeria passed its law, Kerry released an official statement through the State Department saying:

“The United States is deeply concerned by Nigeria’s enactment of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act. Beyond even prohibiting same sex marriage, this law dangerously restricts freedom of assembly, association, and expression for all Nigerians.”

What about the freedom of Nigeria’s Christians to assemble, associate and express their faith? When they do assemble, they always do so in fear of being attacked by members of the religion of peace, or so we are told.

Kerry’s statement condemning Nigeria’s new law suggested that such a law was in conflict with international law. But isn’t the intentional genocide of any group of people a violation of international law? Shouldn’t the world community, as well as the US, be up in arms over the murder and wounding of thousands of Christians?

Both Barack Obama and John Kerry claim to be Christians, but they are so busy protecting the sinful and abominable lifestyle of homosexuals that they can’t be bothered to protect Christians who seems to have a much stronger faith than their own.

How many Americans would go to church on Sunday morning if they knew there was a chance that they could be the subject of a bomb attack? I bet many of our nation’s churches would be nearly empty. But the Christians in Nigeria hold their faith dearly and are willing to risk their lives just to worship Jesus who died for them.

Secretary of State John Kerry’s actions and lack thereof are sickening to me as are those of President Barack Obama. Their liberal anti-Christian agendas are more important to them than the lives of Christians. Obviously gays mean more to them than Christians who hold to God’s Word. What does that say about their own Christian faith?

In his book The Road to Serfdom, F. A. Hayek lists the characteristics that make America an exceptional country. (1) independence and self-reliance, (2) individual initiative and local responsibility, (3) successful self reliance on voluntary activity, (4) noninterference with one’s neighbor and tolerance of the different and queer, (5) respect for custom and tradition, and (6) a healthy suspicion of power and authority. He attributes these as deriving from our Anglo-Saxon heritage. These characteristics, Hayek said, “…have molded the national character and the whole moral climate of England and America,…”

Even while listing those attributes, he warns that “…the progress of collectivism and its inherently centralistic tendencies are progressively destroying” this exceptional heritage. He cautions against centralized planning of business, industry, education, health care, and other systems that are necessary for our way of life. He readily admits that a system such as we have we had for the first 125 years of our union’s life is sometimes slow and awkward. But the trade off is that we have freedom to “pursue happiness.”

Obama didn’t start all of this. This began with Woodrow Wilson, and Wilson’s inspiration, we are told, was a little book named Philip Dru Administrator: A Story of Tomorrow 1920-1935 by Edward Mandell House. (I’ll be writing more about this book and the author’s relationship with President Wilson later.) If you have never read this book, do so. It is available from Amazon.com in the Kindle edition for a pittance. It will send cold chills up your back. If you have read Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, you will perhaps see some of the genesis of that huge novel. I don’t know whether Ms Rand knew about Philip Dru Administrator, but she was a well read person. I would guess that she knew about it.

We are witnessing today the streamlining of our country’s processes for achievement. Congress takes too long to pass laws. So we get a Presidential Executive Directives and Orders to get things done. Some of our laws, indeed many of our laws, date back to the twentieth century and even further back and sections of them have become antiquated. So we have a Department of Justice that advises the administration that it can ignore certain laws or certain sections of laws. Sometimes my wife accuses me of selective hearing. Well, I accuse the DOD of selectively cherry picking our laws, and that includes the Constitution.

At one time we proudly would say that we are a nation of laws and not of men. We can now say that we are a nation of decrees and regulations and not of laws. The citizens of the United States have been shuffled down and over to one side and ignored. Our congressmen, with a few exceptions, are like sheep being led to the slaughter. They talk a good talk, but they do not walk a good walk. When it comes right down to it, they are more afraid of the colleagues in leadership positions in the House and Senate and of the president himself than they are of the people who bestowed upon them the honor of representing them. Even the nine grave men and women who wear the black robes and sit in supreme judgment of lesser courts–with a couple of notable exceptions–have kowtowed to the president and his lackeys.

We have the ballot box. We have primary elections. We have the power of recall. We have term limits. Let’s do what we need to do to rid ourselves of this mill stone that the Democrat party has hung around our necks. And, for goodness sake, let’s keep Hillary away from the White House. I know it’s a long time until the election of 2014 and even longer than the election of 2016, but we need to keep the fires burning in the furnace of our opposition to avoid being dragged any deeper into the quagmire of collectivism.

Distinc.tt: Apple’s New LGBT “Social Networking” App Targets Kids 12 and Up

The sickos at Apple have created a new “social networking” app for all people ages 12-and-up who are dabbling in the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) world. That’s right, they’re deliberately targeting 12 year olds as users of the new app Distinc.tt. Available for purchase on iTunes, it is being billed as the anti-Grindr, which is just nothing but homosexual porn. Like everything else, the homosexual agenda propagates, it’s all a lie. This is more baiting. Homosexual apps are about sex. This is selective advertising to sell homosexual sex to children, packaged as a social networking site. In a world completely sold out to the homosexual agenda, this is more savvy marketing. This is setting children up for being seduced by pedophiles, and to be sucked into the world of homosexual lies. A world that is nearly impossible to escape without the deliverance of Jesus Christ.

Apple is at it again. Having sold its soul to the homosexual agenda, as most every other major corporation has, it is now trying to outdo itself. In creating an app called Distinc.tt, the company is marketing homosexuality and sodomy to persons 12-and-up. Selling sex to any teen is disgusting regardless or the circumstance. Though the makers of the app swear it is purely for “networking,” this is a lie. This is a homosexual sex app aimed at teens, who have barely hit puberty. It doesn’t get more repulsive than this.

Do you feel that the gay community is all too often symbolized by shiny torsos with a body fat percentage below 3?

Do you sense that when you think of gay apps, the first that comes to mind is Grindr?

But what about gay taste? What about the gay sense of style?

This isn’t the stuff of mere legend. The fine urban studies theorist Richard Florida has offered that cities thrive when they attract a dynamic gay population.

Grindr is just one of the nasty, disgusting apps that comes to mind targeting homosexuals. There are numerous apps to prove that Apple is completely behind this sinister agenda of indoctrination. On the iTunes site, Grindr is described as “Gay, same sex, bi, social network to chat and meet guys.”

This is on iTunes available for purchase, just like other apps like the “homosexual history” app Quist. The Huff Post describes The Quist app as one that “provides daily updates that summarize major landmarks and milestones for the queer community in a “this day in LGBTQ history” framework.”

Every “homosexual app” is a hookup app. It’s ridiculous to assert that Apple would create one like Distinc.tt that is for “social networking.” This is about selling illicit sex to teenagers. Also, the likelihood a young person will encounter a sexual predator is extremely high, one that would prey upon their naivete. Marketers like Apple are pushing the homosexual agenda onto younger and younger kids, trying to convince all that they are “born this way.” Any assertion that this is incorrect is met with resistance and threats.

Some very clever Harvard types (are there any other kind?) believe that, when it comes to apps, the gay community hasn’t offered the full bloom of its most tasteful side.

So they’ve created Distinc.tt. This, they claim, is “the only gay social app approved by the iTunes store for 12-year-olds and older.”

Before you mount your high, sweaty horse and exert a moral gallop over the idea, might I say that this app doesn’t have sex at its core?

Instead, and I’m quoting the company now, Distinc.tt “uses real-time collective knowledge to connect trendsetting crowds and travelers to the places and people that best reflect their distinct interests.”

Apple is selling cultural rot. It is also responsible for ruining many lives in the process. In marketing a homosexual app for persons age 12-and-up, the company has blood on its hands. This is life and death. Apple is in the process of bartering for the souls of America, starting at a most impressionable age. Not that they’re alone, but marketing and selling apps for the purpose of sodomy is morally reprehensible.

Here’s an extract: “With an emphasis on good taste, Distinc.tt is sleekly designed to easily lead users to the right event, restaurant, party, or vacation spot for the moment or upcoming calendar, where their friends are or plan to go soon.”

In the iTunes store, Distinc.tt has a charming way of describing itself: “Finally, an LGBT app that you can bring home to Mom!”

Indeed, Distinc.tt describes itself as “clean, social, and fun.”

CEO Michael Belkin says he’s launching Distinc.tt because he became “disgusted by the tasteless torsos and imagery on gay social sites and apps.”

They’re marketing this as an “LGBT” app a 12-year old can bring home to mom and buy without her permission? This is insane, but this is what Apple is doing. They’re selling the homosexual lifestyle to children, making it look appealing and desirable. Now the whole experience can be sold to a prepubescent teen for a little over a dollar. Is a soul worth that much? To Apple it is. Apple removed it’s Exodus International app, a ministry dedicated to helping those experience “freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ.” Through pressure from change.org and other progressives, the ministry’s app was quickly removed from iTunes in 2011.

Homosexuals do not want anyone to believe they can escape the bondage of the lifestyle. They want to suck a young person in, without any chance of getting out. There is one way out, but marketers and the general culture are trying to block all who seek salvation and deliverance through the blood of Christ. Satan’s assault on the world is made plain through the homosexual agenda. Good is called evil, and evil good, and the lie is working.

Lefty Totalitarianism: Conform or Else!

Recently (or perhaps more accurately, finally), I started reading Mark Steyn’s After America: Get Ready for Armageddon.

While I don’t intend to write a review for a book two years old, After America is increasingly relevant as America slowly slides to its own destruction.

However, something jumped out at me while I plodded through the first 60 or so pages. It’s something that we, as a nation don’t discuss nearly enough. Indeed, in our own hubris, we often fail to recognize its reality.

In the modern era — where we are apparently free and liberated to do what we like, where we like, when we like — America is becoming ever more homogeneous.

We are expected to conform to the liberal worldview.

The government is seen as a cure-all for society’s problems. Massive entitlement programs “ensure” that the poor don’t starve or die in the streets. Those programs protect the wealthiest demographic in America, the elderly, from poverty.

If you believe that government coddling a significant fraction of its citizens, far more than are actually destitute, or spending its way to bankruptcy is wrong, then you hate the poor. You must believe that welfare are good and no dissent will be tolerated.

Science must always conform to the leftist/secularist worldview. Humanity must believe in the reality of man-made global change climate, or whatever moniker they happen to be using this week. We must all believe in the nihilistic evolutionary theory of the origin of life. Not to do so would be anti-science, and we can’t have people who aren’t bound by the laws of what the left deems to be the truth, now can we?

No one should be allowed to openly question Darwinism, lest some start to believe that God created a globe that goes through natural cycles.

Sex, of course, must always be loose and unbound. Otherwise you’re just a square who doesn’t understand that loose trousers and spread legs are the way to truly enjoy life. You have to be some sort of sexually repressed control freak to believe that careless sex leads to disease, emotional trauma and, worst of all, pregnancy. Millions of youth never even saw that last one coming, and were encouraged to sleep around long before they’ve had any real life experience.

Speaking of pregnancy, one must of course conform to the idea that abortion isn’t murder. It’s the woman’s right. She should have the right to choose to have her doctor, CNA, corner store butcher (or whoever California wishes to certify next to perform abortions) plunge a needle into a baby and burn it from the inside out as it is sucked dry of fluid. Or be forcefully dismembered in the womb. Our “betters” tell us it is the humane thing to do.

Let us not leave out the leftist view of race, either. If one does not believe in special treatment for the Black or the Hispanic (not the Asian, though — they often succeed on their own merits), he is a horrible, racist bigot only lacking the pointy white hood. And even then, that’s likely tucked away in some chest buried in the backyard, patiently awaiting the day when it is in vogue again.

It is not like blacks or Hispanics can succeed if they stay out of trouble and work hard. They must be given special dispensation to enter the country’s universities or government jobs. After all, institutional racism abolished fifty years ago is still alive and well.

If there’s a disproportionate number of minorities being disciplined in schools, it must be due to the schools’ disciplinary procedures. If a disproportionate number of minorities get busted for committing crimes, clearly there’s some sort of outside force (likely with lily white skin) that is responsible.

The media, by and large, excepting the odd element like Fox News Channel, is on the left to varying degrees. All try to cover for Obama in one way or another. All celebrate the cause célèbre of the week, whether it’s the latest state to legalize gay marriage or the newest law cementing the protected status of the black man. Indeed, ABC has an entire hidden camera program, “What Would You Do?” dedicated to this self-righteous feel-goodism.

The point of that long list? If you believe some or all of the aforementioned is bad, you are no good to the left. Even if for the barest of seconds you express an opinion that does not conform to the status quo, you are shamed until you believe what the left wants you to believe. Otherwise, you are marginalized for your “backwards thinking.”

We live in a world where free-thought is, in reality, thinly veiled totalitarianism. For without conformity of thought, Leftism cannot thrive.

Paul Harvey & The Naked Communist

I don’t know how many of our readers will have had the pleasure of listening to the great Paul Harvey. His radio show was a tradition at my house as a child, and I am really grateful that my parents made it so. Thanks to www.birtherreport.com I came across this video that was aired on Sean Hannity’s show earlier this week. Mr. Paul Harvey represented an excellence in broadcasting that may never be seen again. Mr. Harvey was one of my early mentors and he, as much as anyone, taught me how to think for myself. I miss this man more than you know.

I had never heard this piece before today, despite being a long time Paul Harvey fan.

50 years ago there was a portion of a book entitled The Naked Communist entered into the congressional record. I would bet my bottom dollar that Harvey was well-acquainted with that book. It was a warning for America. In that particular case, it was labeled as “The 45 Goals for the Communist Takeover of America.”

I write about this stuff a lot and catch a lot of grief for it. The problem is that a lot of people don’t want to swallow the whole pill. For instance, a lot of people accept most of the list but feel that The Bible really is obsolete. Some would accept most of the immoralities but don’t feel that homosexuality is wrong. The truth is the truth. Cleon Skousen was not an authority on all things, but he knew exactly how communists were planning to break down this country.

It hurts to look at this list and know that I have played a part in that. For instance, I am divorced. It pains me that I can’t be with my two oldest girls every day. I have been part of the problem, and I must admit that. Until we all admit our own faults, nothing gets done.

To fix a problem, you must first acknowledge it and acknowledge your part in it.

At any rate, here is the list of the “45 Goals for the Communist Takeover of America.” I thought today might be a good day to look at them again because I think it is a perfect complement to Harvey’s message.

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or

treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Almost every one of the things on this list has either been achieved or is very close to being achieved. A few don’t seem completely relevant in 2013 but at one time I am sure they were.

We all have opinions, but I think it’s pretty simple. We look at a socialist push in this country, and we look at an Obamacare package that we do not want, and we want to blame everyone but ourselves.

We created this. The breakdown of morality in society created this. They can push any lousy idea they want to now because the morally bankrupt people in this country outnumber God’s people. This will not be easy to fix, but it can be done.

It’s about consistency. You do not only obey the parts of the constitution or the parts of God’s law that you want to obey. It’s not a Chinese Buffet. Everything was put there for a reason.

Underage Female Students Forced To Tolerate Sexual Harassment By “Transgender” Boy

Oh, to be a high-school boy and have permission to use the girls’ locker rooms and the girls’ bathrooms and sit a mere two feet from a hot high-school chick using the toilet with only an inch of Formica separating them!

But how to live out such a fantasy? The solution would make a perfect ’80s screwball comedy, perhaps starring Emilio Estevez or Matthew Broderick, who has a crush on the blonde captain of the cheerleading squad and, in order to see her naked in the locker rooms, starts attending school disguised as a female foreign exchange student and joins the cheer squad. Hilarity ensues, but everybody learns a lesson in the end. Not unlike the Dustin Hoffman movie Tootsie, in fact.

Except that in these modern times, controlled entirely by liberals, no lessons are ever learned.

Female students, most of them underage, at Florence High School in Colorado are forced to endure sexual harassment at the hands of a boy who calls himself a girl—a condition referred to as “transgender” these days, as opposed to its former name, “crazy”—all so as not to hurt the sexual deviant’s feelings.

But what’s a little sexual harassment compared to the all-important virtue of tolerance?

According to the Pacific Justice Institute, females who have complained about harassment by the “transgender” student have been threatened with being charged with hate crimes and being kicked off their sports teams.

From BizPacReview:

“According to the letter [sent by the PJI], after meeting with the girls complaining about sharing a bathroom with the transgender student, school officials suggested the girls ‘avoid using the girls’ locker room’ and instead use another bathroom. However, the one suggested is ‘far from their classes’ and is not open during the after-school sports in which they participate.”

There has been a surge of male students lately who call themselves transgender, and it’s not because they’re just more courageous these days about revealing their sickness; rather, it’s because brilliant sexual predators understand that because society is more tolerant of sexual deviancy, they can not only get away with being peeping toms, but are in fact encouraged to be peeping toms.

When John Wrana was a young man, fit and strong and fighting in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, did he ever think he’d end this way?

Just a few weeks shy of his 96th birthday, in need of a walker to move about, cops coming through the door of his retirement home with a Taser and a shotgun.

The old man, described by a family member as “wobbly” on his feet, had refused medical attention. The paramedics were called. They brought in the Park Forest police.

First they tased him, but that didn’t work. So they fired a shotgun, hitting him in the stomach with a bean-bag round. Wrana was struck with such force that he bled to death internally, according to the Cook County medical examiner.

“The Japanese military couldn’t get him at the age he was touchable, in a uniform in the war. It took 70 years later for the Park Forest police to do the job,” Wrana’s family attorney, Nicholas Grapsas, a former prosecutor, said in an interview with me Thursday.

Wrana’s family wants answers. The Illinois State Police are investigating the horrific incident but won’t comment, and neither will the Park Forest police pending the outcome of the inquiry.

I wasn’t at the scene, and maybe the police have a good explanation. But common sense tells me that cops don’t need a Taser or a shotgun to subdue a 95-year-old man.

And after doing some digging, I found there are two versions of events: The police version, and a new picture that raises questions of whether John Wrana was killed unnecessarily.

The Park Forest police version is that on the night of July 26, John Wrana, a resident of the Victory Centre senior living facility, threatened staff and paramedics with a 2-foot-long metal shoehorn and a metal cane. The police statement neglects to mention that the old man also used a walker, at least according to photographs supplied by Grapsas.

“Attempts were made verbally to have the resident comply with demands to drop the articles, to no avail,” the police statement reads. “The resident then armed himself with a 12-inch butcher type kitchen knife.”

But lawyer Grapsas says that Wrana’s family never saw a knife in his room and that staff also told him Wrana didn’t have such a knife.

“So where did the knife come from?” Grapsas asked.

The police statement leaves the impression that the staff was under threat, leaving police with no choice other than to shoot him.

But according to Maria Oliva, an executive with Pathway Senior Living, the staff was kept out of the room after police arrived. So there was no imminent threat to staff.

“The staff was not inside once the police were on the scene,” Oliva told us. “At different times the staff were in there, but not when they were called. They (the police) were in charge at that point.”

Police said there had been threats made against the staff. But Grapsas said he was told that staff begged to be allowed to try to calm down the old man.

“If there were threats to the staff, why did the staff want to intervene and say, ‘Let us handle this; we’ll get him calmed down’?” he asked.

Grapsas says he was told that police used a riot shield to come through the door before shooting bean-bag rounds at the old man as he sat in his chair.

Riot shields are used to push back mobs of angry young protesters in the streets, or against dangerous convicts in prison cells, not to subdue an old, old man in a chair.

“At some point, I’m told there were between five and seven police officers, they went back to the room with a riot shield in hand, entered the door and shot him with a shotgun that contained bean-bag rounds,” Grapsas said.

If this is true and police had a riot shield, why on earth would they need a shotgun?

Most veteran cops I talked to suspect this is a case of unnecessary force. I’ve never met a police officer who couldn’t handle a 95-year-old man in a walker. And John Wrana wasn’t Jason Bourne. He was an old war veteran who didn’t want to be pushed around.

But one senior police official who has trained police recruits in defensive tactics had a different take.

“When I first heard it, I was like, ‘C’mon,'” he said. “Then I thought it through. We don’t know what occurred. We don’t know what information they had at that time. If you don’t have all of the facts, it’s hard to judge someone. … Anyone can be dangerous.”

Sharon Mangerson, 74, doesn’t see her stepfather as dangerous.

Wrana and Mangerson’s mother, Helen, were married for more than 30 years. Helen died in 2005. So Wrana lived with Mangerson in the south suburbs until his health — and her health — began to fail.

She said he was a fiercely independent member of the greatest generation, honorably discharged as a sergeant after serving in India and Burma during the war.

“He was a very vital 95-year-old, let me tell you. He still played cards. He taught the 70-year-olds how to play gin rummy,” she said in an interview. “I used to admire him so much because he was able to keep doing those type of things. As independent as they come, trust me.”

On the night of the incident, he wound up at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The doctor was on the phone with Mangerson, telling her that even if Wrana survived surgery, he’d likely be on life support. Wrana wanted to talk to her. The doctor held the phone up to his ear, she said.

“He just said, ‘Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I love you and goodbye,'” Mangerson recalled, her voice cracking. “That was it.”

Will the family ever get an explanation?

“I want answers,” she said. “I want someone held accountable.”

Case On Religious Counseling of Homosexuals Wanting Out Could Set Precedent

Even though homosexuality is becoming more acceptable in today’s hedonistic society, it still carries a stigma about it as it should. God says it’s an abomination. It’s a sinful lifestyle, just like stealing, lying, incest, pedophilia, lust, greed and murder.

Gay activists believe that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. They also encourage millions of children and teens to explore same-sex attractions. However, it’s not okay for a homosexual to explore normal straight relationships or seek counseling to help themselves overcome their sinful lifestyle and desires. In fact, they feel so strongly about any form of counseling or therapy that helps homosexuals leave the lifestyle that they have tried to pass laws in California banning the practice.

Now, gay activists are filing lawsuits against religious organizations that help counsel those who want to overcome their homosexuality and lead a normal life. One such religious group is JONAH (Jews Offer New Alternative for Healing). Their mission statement reads:

“JONAH, Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing, is a non-profit international organization dedicated to educating the world-wide Jewish community about the social, cultural and emotional factors which lead to same-sex attractions. JONAH works directly with those struggling with unwanted same-sex sexual attractions (SSA) and with families whose loved ones are involved in homosexuality.”

“Our Rabbinical sages explain that because mankind has been endowed by our Creator with a free will, everyone has the capacity to change. Furthermore, the Rabbis emphasize that parents, teachers and counselors have a special responsibility to educate, nurture, and provide an opportunity for those struggling with unwanted same-sex attractions to journey out of homosexuality.”

“Through psychological and spiritual counseling, peer support, and self-empowerment, JONAH seeks to reunify families, to heal the wounds surrounding homosexuality, and to provide hope.”

JONAH like most other religion based counseling groups does not go out and hunt down homosexuals and force them to convert to a straight life. Rather they provide the counseling and support to those who seek it voluntarily. The nearly 70 religious groups that provide counseling to help those who want help all report a number of success stories and can document that the counseling and therapy do work.

Gay activists know that these groups are being successful and they can’t allow that to happen. In typical liberal fashion, they attack the religious groups by claiming they are frauds and that they are hurting people. They fear the success of groups like JONAH so much that they are now taking legal actions against them.

A far left-wing liberal group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center filed a lawsuit against JONAH, claiming they are frauds and want the courts to stop them from saving anymore people from their debauched lifestyles. Charles LiMandri, President and Chief Counsel of Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund is representing JONAH in their court hearing that started last week. He says that SPLC is doing their best to deprive homosexuals to their right of self-determination and religious freedom when they consider that the Torah teaches that it is a forbidden sin.

LiMandri described the lawsuit saying:

“The SPLC is taking the position that telling homosexuals that you can help them overcome same sex attractions is a fraud, that there’s nothing wrong with having same sex attractions and there’s nothing wrong with being involved in homosexual behavior.”

“Because JONAH is a religiously-based organization, the idea it follows is that homosexuality is disordered. Not because it’s a mental disease or defect, but because it’s a sinful behavior and it’s against God’s plan.”

LiMandri was planning to ask the court to dismiss the lawsuit on constitutional grounds including the First Amendment right of freedom of religion.

Whether you realize it or not, there is a lot riding on this lawsuit. If SPLC wins, it will give every other gay rights group the legal precedent to challenge and stop all religious groups from trying to help those who seek help. Homosexuals who want to change and want someone to help them overcome their sinful lifestyle will have no one left to turn to for help. They will be left to struggle on their own and often that struggle can lead to serious consequences including suicide. It would also mean a severe legal blow against the First Amendment rights to the freedom of religion and speech, further weakening our already crumbling Constitution.

Trayvon, The Lawyers, And The Doom Of Emotionalism

The response from the Left, but more specifically from blacks, over the past 16 months since the shooting of 17-year-old malcontent Trayvon Martin has been one purely of emotion. I like what his shooter’s defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, had to say to the press after the reading of the verdict: “This ‘in your heart’ kind of stuff, that’s not what we’re supposed to do….”

All evidence and testimony, even that from Trayvon’s friend and “star” witness Rachel Jeantel, gave credence to the shooter’s, George Zimmerman’s, side of the story. It is that evidence and testimony that vindicated Zimmerman in the eyes of the jury of six women. Were the jury instructed by the judge before deliberations, “Okay, now disregard everything you’ve heard in this courtroom and just listen to your feelings,” then Zimmerman would have been found guilty and probably sentenced to being Mos Def’d at GITMO. The streets of Oakland, however, might not have been any less of an embarrassing sight; right now the blacks would be whoopin’ and hollerin’ in the streets, jumping up and down on cars, and, shirtless, grabbing their crotches as they shout into news cameras, “Dat’s right, whitey, you gon’ fry!” in blind racial pride and celebration as opposed to doing all of that in their current chosen state of blind rage.

Martin family attorney Ben Crump seemed to get misty-eyed in his response to the verdict. I understand that. He was demonstrating on a personal level the “we are one” feeling among blacks that was being demonstrated at large in the streets. He thought it prudent to invoke the name of—who else?—Martin Luther King, Jr. The Good Doctor’s daughter, Bernice King, tweeted Crump a message that, as usual, highjacked The Greatest Speech in the History of Mankind, “I Have a Dream.”

Emotion blinds and makes analytical thinking very difficult for those who allow it to escape from their hearts and seep into their brains. Natalie Jackson, another attorney for Trayvon’s family, said, “A seventeen-year-old child should be able to walk home from the store and not be shot.” Of course that’s true, but of course that’s not what happened, at least not so plainly. Her analysis is retarded by pure, thoughtless emotion.

Miss Jackson and Mr. Crump, and certainly all of Zimmerman’s detractors, truly do believe that Trayvon was merely a darker-skinned Opie Griffith who was walking home from the store and then simply gunned down out of racial hatred. Their case was doomed from the start, but not out of institutionalized anti-black-ism; it is rather because they decided to keep their arguments emotional rather than logical. Of course, to have been logical would have meant refraining from prosecuting Zimmerman at all since there was no logical basis for it, only an emotional one.

Liberals like to refer to the tea party as “tea baggers.” If you don’t know what that means, put it this way, I suggest you not look it up. Obviously, the tea party has nothing to do with a vulgar, sexual prank. It has to do with exposing big government, the politicians that facilitate it (regardless of political party), and holding them accountable. But liberals have dirty minds, and that’s all they could think of.

If you want a truly filthy and nasty group of people, go to the Texas capitol, where “pro-choice” activists are protesting a state bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks. These people are so vile that Satan himself was offended that they took his name in vain.

While these pro-abort protestors were doing their job for Planned Parenthood and chanting “Hail, Satan” and having their own kids hold up disgusting signs with obscenities and vulgar sexual references, police ended up confiscating a number of props from these rioters. The Texas Tribune reported:

“When people were entering the gallery ahead of the Senate’s hearing, Department of Public Safety officials were initially prohibiting people from bringing feminine hygiene products like feminine pads and tampons into the gallery. DPS officials had been searching bags before letting people into the gallery, requiring them to throw away paper goods such as magazines, receipts, feminine pads and tampons. One DPS officer said authorities had been instructed by the Senate’s sergeant at arms to confiscate anything that could be thrown from the gallery at senators on the floor. She said they had already found objects such as bricks, paint and glitter in bags… DPS officials confiscated one jar they suspected had urine and 18 jars they suspected had feces while searching bags of people entering the gallery, the department confirmed in a press release Friday afternoon.”

They’ve got to come up with something like “tea bagger” to try to make us look bad. But these people actually bring bricks, urine and feces and all in the name of fighting for a woman’s “right” to murder her own unborn child. Cosmopolitan magazine even suggested women throw menstrual blood on politicians. We don’t have to come up with any label to try to make them look bad. They already look disgusting.

Sanford Florida Bracing for Rodney King Type of Riots Pending Zimmerman Verdict

On March 3, 1991, Rodney King, a black man, was driving on the I-210 Foothill Freeway through a Los Angeles neighborhood. Two California Highway Patrol officers attempted to pull King over, but he refused to stop and took the CHP on a high speed chase both on the freeway and through neighborhood streets. The CHP officers estimated that the speeds reached 115 mph.

When King finally stopped his car, the two passengers were subdued and placed in police cars. King was the last to exit his vehicle and when he did, five white LA police officers used tasers and their batons to subdue King. The incident was caught on video, which showed the brutal actions of the police, but it also showed that King continued to resist arrest and kept trying to get to his feet in defiance of the police.

Naturally, the whole incident was turned into a racial issue involving 5 white cops and 1 poor helpless black man. Four of five of the police officers were arrested and charged with assault and use of excessive force. On April 29, 1992, the jury acquitted all of police officers sparking off deadly riots by the black Los Angeles community.

After five days of intense rioting that took police and National Guard units to control, over 3,600 fires had been set, 1,100 buildings were destroyed, over 2,000 people were injured and 53 were dead. Areas of Los Angeles looked like war zones.

Officials in Sanford, Florida, are fearing the same types of riots if the jury acquits George Zimmerman of the killing Trayvon Martin. Norton Bonaparte, Sanford City Manager says they are doing everything possible to prevent Rodney King style riots from taking place in his city. One of his fears is that outsiders will come to Sanford for the sole purpose of committing violence and sparking riots.

Cecile Smith, Police Chief of Sanford, has his officers going door to door, talking to the residents of the city in an effort to prevent any kind of violence from taking place. When asked about SWAT units or other precautions he is taking to prevent violence, he just said that he’s not at liberty to comment at this time.

Even though Zimmerman is Hispanic and not white, there have already been a number of black on white attacks that have been committed in the name of Trayvon Martin. There is no doubt in today’s climate of situation ethics and the ‘me’ mentality, that Sanford could be a very volatile place to be when the verdict is read. If Zimmerman is found guilty, the blacks could still riot and cause damage and injury like they do in Detroit or other places when a team wins a championship. If Zimmerman is acquitted, I fear that not only Sanford will erupt in violence, but that a number of places will see a surge in black on white violence. The racial tensions will run as high, if not higher than they did during the race riots of the 1960s and people will die. Right now, everything is just sitting and ticking like a time bomb, waiting for the verdict to be read.

Priests Rebuke Nancy Pelosi: Repent or Join a Satanic Church

I don’t know if you’re hip to what the Priests for Life did last week but these gents formally sent Nancy Pelosi a little love letter telling that nutty chick, in essence, to either renounce her backing of abortion, as a Catholic, or join a Satanic Church.

Actually they didn’t say join a Satanic Church. But she would fit right in. Yeah, I said it. Nancy and her ilk, if they don’t repent, should renounce Christianity and just formally hook up with whatever hip sect is following el Diablo because their Weltanschauung sho’ doesn’t flow from the scripture.

Just a cursory bounce through the Decalogue and one will quickly see that Nancy and her nabobs are about as Christ-like as Heidi Klum is fat and nasty.

The Boy Scout Fallout

The dust has scarcely settled from the Boy Scouts of America’s landmark vote to allow openly gay young men and boys to participate in scouting, yet already another controversy is brewing with parents and churches caught up in the crossfire.

Nationwide, congregations and families are coming to terms with the BSA policy change. In an effort to remain strong in their biblical convictions, many are being forced to cut ties with the BSA despite years of financial support and mutual trust.

But in doing so, their decision to withdraw support of the nation’s largest scouting organization has come under scrutiny by the liberal media and the leftwing blogosphere. Just days following the vote, Atlanta-area pastor Ernest Easley made national news when he advised his parishioners to cut all ties with BSA.

“I never dreamed I’d have to stand up publicly and say to parents: Pull your kids out of the Boy Scouts,” Easley told the Baptist Press May 28. “If you would have asked me that five years ago, 10 years ago, I would have laughed,” Easley said. “And even as I was saying it Sunday morning, I thought, I cannot believe I’m having to address this and encourage parents to pull their children out of the Boy Scouts of America.”

Louisville’s largest church, Southeast Christian Church, also made headlines when they cut ties with the Boy Scouts after the national organization decided to drop its ban on gay youth.

“We want everyone, including ourselves, to live by biblical standards,” said the Executive Pastor Tim Hester. “Truly for us it’s a logical decision … We cannot be distracted from the mission God has called us to.”

The BSA policy change is a sad reality that parents too must come to terms with. Michael Woodward, whose eleven year old son suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and is particularly vulnerable to outside influences, has also decided to withdraw his support of BSA.

“I cannot have my son say the Scout oath “…to keep myself morally straight…knowing that the Scout’s definition of that is now in direct contradiction to God’s definition. I cannot risk having my Asperger son led by a role model that is in fact immoral. He would follow.”

So as parents and pastors make the hard choice to cut ties with BSA on account of their new policy, the liberal media has transferred their accusations of bigotry and intolerance from the BSA to its outgoing members and sponsors. Even before making a final decision at this summer’s annual convention, the Southern Baptist Convention has come under attack by those on the left for indicating that they will recommend for its 47,000 churches to pull away from BSA.

Whispers of litigation against these churches have already spurred non-profit legal foundations like Liberty Institute to take up potential lawsuits that are sure to come down the pike. It’s unfortunate that these institutions are being drawn into an ideological fight that they didn’t start nor go looking for.

Churches, families and the Scouts themselves are what some might consider collateral damage of a decade-long battle waged by the LGBT organizations against the BSA to impose their morality on a non-government entity. And thanks to a compliant media, clearly in the LGBT camp, these institutions must fend off accusations of intolerance and bigotry while trying to stand strong in their biblical convictions.

“We hoped to keep sex and politics out of Scouting,” lamented John Stemberger, a lifelong Scout with two sons in scouting, now leading the fight to start a new scouting chapter in defiance of the adopted policy. Unfortunately the LGBT community and the liberal media had other plans.

Sadly, it’s the parents and churches that must unravel this messy BSA policy and tenaciously step through the landmine of media scrutiny as they seek to live biblically in an increasingly anti-Christian society.

In the latest incident of anti-gun hysteria to erupt in a school setting, a kindergarten boy has been suspended from school for 10 days because he showed a friend his cowboy-style cap gun on the way to school.The incident happened on Wednesday morning at about 8:30 a.m. on a school bus in Calvert County, Maryland, reports The Washington Post.

The kindergartener had brought the toy gun because his friend had brought a water gun the previous day. He later told his mother than he “really, really” wanted his friend to see it.

The suspended boy had acquired the menacing, plastic, orange-tipped weapon at Frontier Town, a western-themed campground with a water park, mini golf and the like.

School officials at Dowell Elementary School in the town of Lusby proceeded to question the five-year-old for over two hours before finally calling his mother, whom The Post also does not name.

The principal eventually called the boy’s mother at 10:50 a.m. By that time, the five-year-old had wet his pants (which the mother called highly unusual).

The principal told the boy’s mother that the boy had simulated shooting someone on the bus with the offending novelty. However, both the boy and his older sister, a first-grader, say the principal is not telling the truth.

The Post explains that the principal — Jennifer L. Young, according to Dowell Elementary’s website — told the kindergartener’s mother that things would have been even worse had the toy gun been loaded with caps. In that case, the school would have regarded the plaything as an explosive and called the police.

“I have no problem that he had a consequence to his behavior,” the mother told the Post. “What I have a problem with is the severity.”

The mother is also upset about the trauma her son experienced without her knowledge.

“Why were we not immediately contacted?” she asked

The 10-day suspension is officially for possessing a look-alike gun, notes the Post. If the suspension is not lifted, the kindergartener won’t be able to go to school the rest of the year. The suspension will also be part of his permanent academic record.

The family has hired an attorney, Robin Ficker, who has managed to become something of a national legal expert in amazing overreactions by school officials over things that aren’t actual guns.

Ficker appealed the suspension on the family’s behalf on Thursday. On Friday, there will be a disciplinary conference.

The attorney noted that the the boy’s age is an essential factor when considering the punishment and the school’s actions.

“Kids play cowboys and Indians,” Ficker told The Post. “They play cops and robbers. You’re talking about a little five-year-old here.”

This incident is the second incident of anti-gun hysteria to erupt in a school setting in as many weeks. There have been many others over the course of this academic year as well.

At Genoa-Kingston Middle School in northeast Illinois, a teacher threatened an eighth-grader with suspension if he did not remove his t-shirt emblazoned with the interlocking rifles insignia of the United States Marines. Veteran Has His AR-15 Confiscated By Police For Fending Off Burglar

Medford, Oregon — This story is so outrageous that it’s almost beyond belief. How can the police confiscate the weapon of a crime victim who did nothing wrong?

An Oregon man has had his rifle confiscated and is facing criminal charges after he attempted to stop a wanted felon from breaking into his home by firing a warning shot.

…Authorities say 40-year-old Jonathon Kinsella, a wanted felon, was attempting to flee the scene when he was arrested on outstanding warrants, including for burglary and assault.

…Military veteran Corey Thompson, 36, told KDRV-TV that the wanted felon was trying to beak into his home via the back door. Defending his property, Thompson said he warned the criminal that he was armed and he was giving him his one and only warning shot.

“This is the end result. You break into someone’s house, there’s consequences,” Thompson said.

Wielding his AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, the veteran made good on his threat and fired one warning shot. The bullet did not strike the suspect or anyone else.

…However, police later determined he wasn’t justified in firing his weapon. Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau said “there was nothing that the suspect was doing that was aggressive enough to justify the shooting.”

Apparently, for police in Medford, a wanted felon trying to break into a law-abiding citizen’s home isn’t enough to justify a warning shot.

Thompson was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and reckless endangering. The veteran’s AR-15 was seized by police because they claim it was used in the commission of a crime.

Does this felon have to be stabbing Thompson in the throat before he’s allowed to fire a warning shot? This should not be allowed to stand. The behavior of this police department is outrageous and completely disgraceful. Everybody involved in this decision at the Medford Police Department should be sued, fired and even more importantly, Corey Thompson should be cleared of all charges and given his AR-15 back immediately.

By now you’ve seen and heard about the House of Horrors as it has been referred to in the news. Abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell of Philadelphia ran a clinic in the poorer area of the city and preyed upon thousands of young women who couldn’t afford to go anywhere else. He has been charged with the death of one woman and four newborns, although reports from different sources clearly indicate that he has killed many more than four live born babies.

Last July we learned about 24 year old Tonya Reaves who went to a Chicago area Planned Parenthood clinic to have an abortion. Not only was her unborn murdered at the clinic, so was Tonya. She was hemorrhaging after the procedure but the staff at the clinic failed to call for help until several hours later. But by the time help arrived and she was transported to a hospital, it was too late. Her one year old son will never know his mother and it seems no one at the clinic was ever punished for their neglect.

Other women have died at the hands of abortion doctors and clinic workers, but that rarely ever makes the news. In fact, Tonya Reaves death at the Chicago Planned Parenthood clinic happened on the same day that James Holmes went into the theater in Aurora, Colorado and opened fire. We heard lots about that, but virtually no media covered the murder of Reaves because it would paint a negative image on abortion and they can’t let that happen, can they?

Now we are hearing about another abortion horror story, only this time it’s coming from Muskegon, Michigan. Dr. Robert Alexander, the abortionist in question, has had several of his patients sent to the emergency room after botched abortions. According to one OB/GYN who has seen several of Alexander’s victims:

“Dr. Alexander perforated the woman’s uterus so badly that it was hanging on by two blood vessels. The decapitated head of a fetus was in the woman’s abdomen and the large intestine had been grasped and pulled away from its blood supply and into the vagina. The woman required a hysterectomy, colonoscopy [colectomy?], and several units of blood to save her life.”

The worse part of this is that there were multiple complaints filed against Alexander for his negligence, but those complaints were not taken seriously by the Michigan Board of Medicine. In 2009, Dr. George Shade, chairman of the board responded to a complaint by stating that no investigation was needed. Further investigation revealed that Alexander had served time in prison for selling illegal prescriptions and had his medical license suspended. Upon his release from prison, Dr. George Shade helped Alexander get his license re-instated by becoming his mentor and helping him.

Eventually in December 2012, Alexander’s clinic was shut down. When police entered the clinic to investigate a break-in on Dec. 26, 2012, they found what they described as unsafe and unsanitary conditions, not too dissimilar to that of the clinic that Gosnell operated in Philadelphia. They found blood dripping from the p-trap of a sink, dirty and stained medical equipment, improper storage of needles, a leaking ceiling and bags of trash next to lab equipment. The fire department also discovered that the clinic had been illegally dumping chemicals and other liquids down the drain.

Fortunately, Alexander is no longer murdering babies in Muskegon, but that doesn’t mean he can’t go elsewhere and start again. The OB/GYN doctor that reported finding the decapitated head in the mother’s womb commented about the clinic being shut down, saying:

“I, for one, was very happy to hear he is no longer practicing in Muskegon, but I fear for women anywhere this man would go.”

In this case, it was Alexander’s connection to Dr. George Shade, that allowed him to continue to butcher women and babies and run another House of Horror. All it takes is one or two shootings for liberal Democrats to react and take action against guns. How many of these incidents will it take before they take action to shut down the bloody institution of abortion? Sandy Hook saw the death of 20 kids. Abortion kills between 750,000 to 1,300,000 kids a year. You weigh the difference and tell me there isn’t an agenda on both issues.

Are We Ignoring the Glaring Evidence of Our Nation’s Demise?

Evidence that America is Committing National Suicide

“If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” — Abraham Lincoln^[1]

This is the first time I’ve seen Lincoln’s reference to national suicide. I’m more familiar with James Burnham’s book Suicide of the West that was published in 1964. The Cold War with Communism was in high gear in the 1960s. The Cuban Missile Crisis was a front-page nail biter.

Burnham’s book issued a stark warning to America that went beyond failed ideology of Communism as W.J. Rayment points out:

“Burnham’s thesis . . . was the growth of liberalism and its complete blindness to death, cruelty and injustice perpetrated by leftist regimes.

“In 1964, as today, it is very easy to see how a thinking person might see the intellectual drift to the left as a move toward societal suicide. For liberalism is a cry for the supremacy of general good intentions over the practical application of common sense. Burnham said that liberals are often driven by ‘profound non-rational, often anti-rational sentiments and impulses.’ Ideas like the welfare state and leniency on criminals to facilitate rehabilitation may have sounded good coming out of the mouth of a liberal, but they were disastrous in practice.

“Burnham’s book . . . was in effect a warning that leftward drift would ultimately destroy all affluence and freedom in the world.”

Lincoln indirectly blamed slavery for lawlessness in the United States. While we’ve abolished chattel slavery, we’ve substituted it with a new type of slavery. There are no longer chains, overseers with whips, and restrictive plantations.

In most cases the outward indicators that people are slaves are hidden, and that’s the way our government wants it. Most of the debilitating effects of the new State slavery can be seen in cities like Detroit and certain parts of Memphis, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. These cities committed suicide a long time ago, and their elected officials led them to the ledge.

Today’s political slavery is more insidious because the people enslaved don’t know they’re slaves. It’s not the so-called welfare queens and those who live in Section 8 housing who are the only ones enslaved. Young people who go to college on government grants and loans are also slaves to the State. That’s why we shouldn’t be surprised when they they vote for their slave masters because they’ve been really good to them.

The same can be said of the more than 90 percent of parents who send their children to government schools to be indoctrinated by the State. A majority invariably vote for the perpetuation and growth of government at the expense of others.

They, too, are slaves. Dependency is slavery.

No amount of fact-spreading and resultant consequences of their choices to put their faith in government will deter them ultimately from turning to government for security when a crisis comes. H. L. Mencken said it well:

“The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest most violently are those who try to tell them the truth.”

What Lincoln and Burnham did not see was a downgrading of personal morality of the worst kind and its legitimization by the State. A softening of morals results in the softening of the mind and the ability to think straight.

The use of the phrase national suicide is more than a metaphor. Liberalism kills, whether it’s with economic issues (slavery to the state) or social issues (homosexual marriage, abortion, divorce, single parents, out of wedlock births). “Who will follow the Jews, the gypsies, the handicapped and the aborted unborn who have died by the millions already?”^[2].

Liberals have always disrespected the military, while acting as if they care for America’s warriors. This disdain for our fighting men and women is evident in how they are treated at the Veteran’s Administration hospitals, where the government is embroiled in scandal.

It’s doubtful they will catch these hooligans. But if they do, I would wish they would let me or some of my special forces friends have at them for just a minute.

This type of disrespect for America and our veterans is a direct result of Liberalism. I only wish I could fund to replace this monument, put up security, so it never happens again. And I would offer a $1 MILLION reward for information leading to the arrest!

It seems that no one ever told them the joke about the definition of “insanity”.

I can’t help but ask though: why is it that liberals have no tolerance for a God-based belief system in America while falling all over themselves to embrace one thousands of miles away?

As the Brennan Center puts it in the second sentence of their article: “Yes, it is likely rare for an election to be close enough for voter ID laws to swing the outcome.”

The Brennan Center instead disputes my contention that studies tend to “overstate the number of voters who truly lack identification.”
