To paraphrase Snoop Dogg, “Bruce Jenner isn’t news, he’s a science experiment.”

I couldn’t agree more. Shame on ESPN to be force feeding the sports watching public with this liberal dogmatic crap, continually hammering in this lie that having a sex change is somehow normal or a courageous act.

No. It is a mental disorder. It even has a name, Body Dysmorphic Disorder. We don’t champion anorexics or bulimics for being “brave” enough to starve or vomit their way to a thinner body.

There is nothing brave or natural about chopping off parts of your body and taking a plethora of drugs to change your sex. It’s a psychological disease that needs treatment and therapy and all the people who are cheering for Bruce Jenner’s mutilation of himself are fooling both themselves and this man whose mental disorder has led him down a path of Frankensteinian horror.

Posit for a moment a person who doesn’t like their hands. For one reason or another doesn’t believe they should have been born with hands. That they were born with the 2 natural appendages all healthy and whole people are born with. Do we celebrate when this person runs both of their wrists over a table saw so they can be their “true selves.” No. We are appalled and believe that they need help and try to attach their hands back on. We get them counseling and put them on medication in hopes that they don’t feel like they were born with two feet they don’t need either.

What Bruce Jenner did to himself is no less of a horrific act.

And ESPN goes ahead and gives him the Arthur Ashe Courage Award which apparently celebrates personal mutilation.

In the video that ESPN produced for the award ceremony they coupled Bruce Jenner’s 1976 Olympic Gold Medal in the Decathlon with being cool with being patriotic again. Then segwayed into how its cool to have your body mutilated if it makes you feel good about yourself.

How Bruce Jenner was always a female trapped in a male body. How his failed marriages were because he was really a woman. And how that chopping off his body parts would make him feel better.

This apparently is good enough for ESPN to give him an award on courage.

To most rational thinking people, outside of Hollywood and the liberal media machine this is a sad case of a man being prodded along by people who care more about making money or pushing an agenda than what is actually happening to him.

What Bruce Jenner did to himself is not a brave act. It is a cry for help. A cry that was left unanswered by those who should have cared for him the most.

When I hear his kids giving interviews of how proud they are of him and his “courage” to mutilate himself I just wish there was someone there to smack them in the face and wake them from whatever reality tv trance they are in. To yell at them to stop being reality tv whores and think about something more than ratings and money.

Did ANY of Bruce Jenner’s kids say: “This is messed up, dad you need help?”

Or did they just smile for the camera and say what was the most liberally acceptable thing?

It seems the answer is clear.

But I’m not done with ESPN yet.

Bruce Jenner’s mental disorder is not only being celebrated by ESPN at the ESPY’s (or for that matter for the past few months on a number of their shows) but it also replaced two possible nominees who had REAL COURAGE in facing adversity that was not the result of their own mental breakdowns.

First is Noah Galloway. Sgt. Galloway was an Iraq War veteran who lost his left arm above the elbove and leg above the knee. Rather than letting that define his life he fought through the difficult rehab and had the courage to face the adversity that being a double amputee levied against him. Not only did he compete on dancing with the stars finished in third place.

But dancing is not the only place where he competes in athletics. He participates in a variety of fitness competitions from regular 5K and 10K races to ones such as Tough Mudders, CrossFit competitions and Spartan events as well as being a personal fitness trainer for others.

Not your cup of courage? Fine.

How about young Lauren Hill, basketball player for Mt. St. Joseph University in Cincinnati Ohio. Lauren was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer? Instead of crying herself to sleep every night and checking out early of life, Lauren grabbed the life she had remaining to her and lived it with the poise and grace that belies her 19 years.

She fought the good fight, played her Freshman year of basketball, played through the pain of the cancer that was ravaging her body. She raised more than $1.5million for pediatric cancer research before her illness claimed her life on April 10th of this year. Talk about courage, people with more years and experience would have broken down and felt sorry for themselves if given the diagnosis of t terminal brain cancer. Lauren Hill fought against the dying of the light and made her life, brief though it was, mean something. Doing that when faced with a bad break is what courage is. This is the face of courage:

Now tell me…what exactly did Bruce Jenner do that was so brave?

Oh right, he cut off his penis.

Excuse me while I go vomit.

I’m not sure what makes me more nauseous, the fact that Bruce Jenner mutilated himself so or the fact that ESPN and the liberal press are trying to force feed me the BS that it is not only an “okay” thing but that is should be celebrated.

I feel sorry for Bruce Jenner that he couldn’t get the help he needed and I feel disgust for all the people, including ESPN, who have profited from this man’s mental disorder.

The whole situation makes me sick and I for one am not going to apologize for not accepting this as a natural act…or courageous one.

Woman allegedly attacked by group near U of C campus with kids in car

CHICAGO (WLS) —

Her car damaged, her nerves shaken, the victim of an alleged group attack near the University of Chicago campus spoke exclusively with ABC7 Eyewitness News. Police say two people were arrested and charged, but Susan Pedersen says several dozen people were involved in the attack that left her two children covered in broken glass. They were in the back seat of the vehicle, which was left dented with the rear glass shattered. “I’m very scared, very anxious, nervous. Just fearful,” she said.

Broken glass littered the pavement at 60th and King Drive across from Washington Park, where the attack took place around 9 p.m. Thursday night. Pedersen says she had just dropped off a friend at the University of Chicago when she stopped at a red light and found her car surrounded by several dozen young people. “They were walking around both sides of the vehicle – in the front, in the back – and as they were walking across, they were hitting my car, using racial slurs and telling me that I didn’t belong in their neighborhood because I was white,” Pedersen said. The group, all African-American, she says, kicked the vehicle and shook it violently. Her children were screaming from the back of the vehicle. Pedersen said one person was on a bicycle, which the group used it as a battering ram to shatter the back window. The broken glass left cuts on her 3-year-old son, Benjamin. Pedersen said a police car, which happened to be nearby, arrived and the group scattered.

Two juveniles were arrested, police said. They were charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to property.

Pedersen says the crime damaged more than her property. She would like more serious charges filed. “This is something that’s going to stay with me for the rest of my life,” she said.

The website promoting the book says, “The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible…We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded.”

What they have succeeded in doing is misrepresenting the word of God.

Here’s some examples of what they terribly did:

1. Leviticus 18:22

KJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.

Woman shot, killed in Hollywood with no apparent motive; search underway for gunman

: A 30-year-old woman walking with her boyfriend in Hollywood was shot and killed, and police are looking for the gunman.

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) –A woman walking with her boyfriend in Hollywood was shot and killed, and police are looking for the gunman. The shooting was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday. Police said the victim, identified as Carrie Jean Melvin, 30, of Hollywood was found on Sunset Boulevard and McCadden Place near Hollywood High School.

According to investigators, the suspect approached the woman from behind and shot her. The woman’s boyfriend, who was with her at the time, was not shot. Police said Melvin lived nearby and the two were walking to get something to eat. Melvin was pronounced dead at the scene. Her boyfriend was not injured. His identity has not been released.

Authorities said there is no known motive at this time. “We’ve interviewed the boyfriend, there’s no indication that they had any idea there were enemies, that she would be targeted, so at this point we just don’t know,” said Detective John Skaggs.

Witnesses said the suspect ran to a car, described as a black four-door vehicle, and drove off.

Police described the suspect as a black male wearing dark clothing and a hoodie. Authorities said they are planning on looking at surveillance footage from nearby businesses to assist in their investigation.

Skaggs had a message for the suspect. “We are going to pursue you. We’re going to investigate this case with everything that we have,” Skaggs said.

Area resident Nikkolene Callis said she heard what sounded like a shotgun blast, and it was so loud that car alarms were set off. “And then, looked out and saw all the police cars coming and a body laying on the ground which was clearly the victim,” Callis said.

Prison escapee Richard Matt shot and killed, police believed closing in on accomplice

Richard Matt, one of two New York prison escapees, was shot and killed by law enforcement officers Friday afternoon and police appeared to be closing in on his accomplice. A source told Fox News that officers had surrounded “a fairly small area” where they believe David Sweat is hiding. Matt was killed in a remote area of Franklin County, N.Y. not far from two hunting cabins where he and Sweat reportedly had taken refuge.

Law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox that the owner of a camper had called 911 and said he had seen the two escapees, leading officers to converge on the area. One source told Fox News Matt was shot and killed by Customs Border Protection agents from the Department of Homeland Security

The location where Matt, 49, was shot is about 40 miles west of the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, where the pair staged a brazen breakout June 6. Since then they had eluded a massive manhunt involving 1,100 law enforcement personnel.

Matt and Sweat used power tools to saw through a steel cell wall and several steel steam pipes, bashed a hole through a 2-foot-thick brick wall, and squirmed through pipes to escape.

Sweat was serving a sentence of life without parole in the killing of a sheriff’s deputy in Broome County in 2002. Matt was serving 25 years to life for the killing and dismembering of his former boss.

A civilian worker at the prison has been charged with helping the killers flee by giving them hacksaw blades, chisels and other tools.

Prosecutors said Joyce Mitchell, a prison tailoring shop instructor who got close to the men while working with them, had agreed to be their getaway driver but backed out because she felt guilty for participating. Mitchell pleaded not guilty June 15 to charges including felony promoting prison contraband.

Authorities said the men had filled their beds in their adjacent cells with clothes to make it appear they were sleeping when guards made overnight rounds. On a cut steam pipe, the prisoners left a taunting note containing a crude caricature of an Asian face and the words “Have a nice day.”

Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wylie said they apparently used tools stored by prison contractors, taking care to return them to their toolboxes after each night’s work.

On June 24, authorities charged Clinton correction officer Gene Palmer with promoting prison contraband, tampering with physical evidence and official misconduct. Officials said he gave the two prisoners the frozen hamburger meat Joyce Mitchell had used to hide the tools she smuggled to Sweat and Matt. Palmer’s attorney said he had no knowledge that the meat contained hacksaw blades, a bit and a screwdriver.

Dannemora, built in 1845, occupies just over 1 square mile within the northern reaches of the Adirondack Forest Preserve and is surrounded by forest and farmland. The stark white perimeter wall of the prison, topped with guard towers, borders a main street in the village’s business district.

The escape was the first in history from Clinton Correctional’s maximum-security portion. In July 2003, two convicted murderers used tools from a carpentry shop at Elmira Correctional Facility to dig a hole in the roof of their cell and a rope of bedsheets to go over the wall. They were captured within three days, and a subsequent state investigation cited lax inmate supervision, poor tool control and incomplete cell searches.

Christian Cries To God As Muslims Torture Him, Then THIS Happens

Despite numerous attempts on his life at the hands of Muslims in the area, Ugandan minister Kisa Emmanuel Amos has kept his vow to deliver the word of God to anyone who is willing to listen.

He recently became the target of persecution after 3 local Muslim women heard his message, and decided to give their lives to Christ and leave Islam behind. This of course didn’t go over too well by the husbands of these women, and the sheikhs set out to get their revenge. When their attempt to take out Pastor Amos’ life was unsuccessful, they then set their sites on his orphanage, where they brutally gang raped 2 of his orphans in retaliation.

But this wasn’t the first time that Pastor Amos has been persecuted for his faith, as just last December, he was arrested by Muslim officers after preaching the message of Christ to them.

“I was tortured by Muslim police officers, who attacked me in church, right on the pulpit,” Kisa told Mad World News. “They clubbed me, tear gassed me right in the eyes, beat me with guns, kicked me, beat me badly, and threw me on their patrol pickup when I was unconscious.”

Several members of Pastor Amos’ small congregation tried to intervene with the horrific beating, but were soon arrested and beaten along with their pastor. When the pastor was hauled off to jail, it was only the beginning of his long and horrifying nightmare.

“When I was at police, the police officer used the back of his gun to beat me up,” Kisa recalled. “I had already been badly tortured at church and I was almost unconscious. I couldn’t move because my knees and ankles had been beaten with clubs.”

Kisa endured unthinkable torture at the hands of the Muslim police, where each day for an entire month they would beat him, torture him with teargas, and poison him with contaminated water. Holding him under false allegations, the officers encouraged other prisoners to join in on the beatings.

“My feet were broken and I was badly affected by the beatings,” he said. “I had fractured 3 ribs and a crack on the spine.”

Showing incredible fortitude and faith in God, Kisa not only overcame his horrific injuries, but used the time in prison to minister to the Muslim officers rendering the beatings, astonishingly, leading them to Christ.

“I have always been warned against preaching on the streets of this community,” Kisa said faithfully. “I can’t help but to preach the Gospel and, for sure, the Lord has brought so many Muslims in this community to Christ.”

After being kept in prison for over a month, the pastor appeared in court, where he would learn his fate. Incredibly, the magistrate overseeing the case found no fault with him, and set him free.

Pastor Kisa is still determined to share his faith with all who will listen, but unfortunately, the experience has done a great amount of injury to his back, feet, and internal organs. Still recovering, he struggles to work full-time on top of the full load of caring for his church and the children of his orphanage. He now faces eviction, as he is two months behind on rent for his orphanage.

Pastor Converts Muslim Women, Husbands Take Revenge On His Orphanage Volunteer and close friend Amanda Cook has created a YouCaring account, with the hopes that funds can be raised in time before the children are evicted from their only home.

“Helping Pastor Kisa’s ministry and orphanage has brought me and my family such joy,” Cook told Mad World News. “Though, if we cannot raise the needed money in the short amount of time we have, tears of joy will certainly turn into tears of sorrow.”

“The Lord is my Shepherd and Pastor Kisa is operating in the spirit of that shepherd,” she writes. “If you feel led to operate in the spirit of our Savior and are ready to inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (Matthew 25:34), you can make it happen now.”

Pastor Converts Muslim Women, Husbands Take Revenge On His Orphanage Kisa remains optimistic, even though his injuries have dealt him a serious blow.

“The Lord is healing me tremendously well, I have to acknowledge,” he said gratefully. “I am still preaching the Gospel amidst great persecution. I developed a breathing problem, but it will also be healed sooner than the devil knows.”

Father walked in on rape of 5-year-old girl at day care, police say

NORMANDY PARK, Wash. — Police arrested a child care provider accused of raping a 5-year-old girl after the victim’s father allegedly walked in on the abuse. According to KCPQ, a father walked into a classroom at his daughter’s day care center on June 5 and found a 31-year-old male teacher and his daughter crouched behind a bookshelf.

The teacher allegedly told the father he was having a “tickle fight” with the girl. After the father and daughter left, the girl allegedly told her dad the teacher touched her inappropriately. The girl was interviewed by Child Protective Services. The girl, who was described as bright and articulate, allegedly told investigators that the teacher raped her.

Police interviewed the teacher, who allegedly said he touched the girl beneath her underwear but claimed it was an accident. The teacher was arrested and is expected to be charged with first-degree child rape.

The police ‘instant replay’

Instant replay has become invaluable in sports. It greatly improves the ability of game officials to get the call right. The inconvenience of the delay is offset by the advantages of applying the rules accurately and fairly. Instant replay also benefits from a controlled environment of perfect camera angles, definitive rules and expert reviewers.

The latest application of instant replay and, as a result, instant analysis, is police work. The country watched the phone-shot video multiple times of the police responding to teenagers fighting at a pool party in McKinney, Texas. Attention focused on Officer Eric Casebolt, who shoved a 14-year-old girl to the ground and pulled his gun. Police Chief Greg Conley said Casebolt’s actions were “indefensible” and that the officer had resigned.

We’ll agree with the chief on this and defer to his judgment. However it’s worth noting what did not happen at the chaotic scene; the officer didn’t shoot anyone or even fire his weapon and no one was injured. There are suggestions of racism—the officer is white and the teenage victim is black—but there is conflicting evidence as to what role, if any, race played in the police actions.

But the larger question is this: Why is this a national story worthy of several days of headline coverage? There are a couple of reasons:

First, there is compelling video. The fact that people are watching drives the agenda in a competitive environment.
Second, it fits the current storyline that “the police” are out of control.
Third, the race card can be played easily.

We have a real-life instant replay where news consumers are likely to make their own judgments about the decisions made by the police and others seen in the video.

WVLY’s Howard Monroe told me on “Talkline” Wednesday he believes this is a good thing because it exposed the actions of an overzealous officer and serves as a warning to other police of what not to do. But Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt offered on the same program that subjecting more behavior to such intense national scrutiny will have unintended consequences. “Here’s your dystopian fantasy for the future; it’s all on camera. Everything is recorded and you better do everything perfectly because if you do it wrong, you won’t get a chance to even things out.” And that, Stirewalt suggests, will lead to “cultural paralysis” nobody will do anything. That may be hyperbolic, but there is already evidence the intense scrutiny of police actions is leading to police inaction.

CNN interviewed two Baltimore police who spoke anonymously about police simply reacting to events instead of being pro-active because they’re afraid of making a mistake. “Even if you have a reasonable suspicion, nine out of 10 times that officer is going to keep on driving,” one officer said.

Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow Heather MacDonald wrote in the Wall Street Journal recently about the “Ferguson effect.” Violent crime is rising rapidly in major cities across the country as police disengage and the criminal element feels more empowered.

In sports, the instant replay resets the game back within the parameter of the rules. In police work the instant play can also be beneficial when it provides an accurate account of a serious event. However, if the McKinney, Texas, video is an example of where news coverage of the police is headed, where every action caught on video is subject to nationwide scrutiny, then the law enforcement game is going to change completely.

A black pastor has threatened an ISIS-style attack against law enforcement in response to a video showing a Texas officer forcefully pinning a bikini-clad teenage girl and pulling a gun on a group of juveniles at a pool party.

A cell-phone video of the incident has gone viral. But now another video, equally disturbing to some, is starting to make the rounds.

Rev. Ronald Wright, executive director of Justice Seekers Texas, warned Americans in a press conference carried live by MSNBC that a domestic terror attack is coming. He spoke at a rally Monday outside the McKinney Police Department. “We’re setting the stage for a terrorist attack in this country. And the group is not going to be ISIS; it’s going to be USIS, us against these injustice law officers and people continuing to allow racism to grow into this city,” he said on Thursday.

According to its website, the Dallas-based Justice Seekers Texas was founded by Wright in February 2010 as a “Civil Rights and Social Justice Organization which focuses on Civil Rights and Social Justice (for all citizens), Education, Health, Employee Rights, Veterans Affairs, Domestic Violence, Juvenile Delinquency/Recidivism, Assisting ex-felons with employment opportunities, rights of the incarcerated, probationers, and parolees.” Wright describes himself on the website as a civil-rights leader and community organizer for social-justice causes. He also serves as senior pastor of God’s Community Church of Joy.

WND reached out to Wright Tuesday to ask if he wanted to clarify his comments.

“I was talking about police involved in racial discrimination. I have always stood up for police; it’s not like I’m against all police, because we need the police. So it wasn’t a terroristic threat on police,” Wright told WND.

“But those that have refuse to stop this kind of injustice, it has to stop,” he said. “It wasn’t an attack on the police department, because all of the recent incidents against the police we’ve seen in the media; it wasn’t the fault of the police. When you actually looked at what happened, they were justified in acting the way they acted in some of those cases.”

Wright called on the mayor to fire the officer, Cpl. Eric Casebolt, who threw the 15-year-old girl to the ground and drew his weapon. Wright said his group has contacted the U.S. Justice Department and is having it monitor the situation. But on Tuesday, Casebolt resigned his position.

To Wright, that’s just more proof that he was guilty of unprofessional conduct, at least, and a criminal act at worse. “If this officer was right by what he did, why would you resign?” he asked.

Wright said he’s the type of activist who stands up against injustice, regardless of the victim’s color. “I stood up for a white police officer and their chief and fought for their chief because a black city councilwoman was picking on him, and she wouldn’t let up on him. What they did was, they took his salary off the city budget, and ended up paying it for the rest of the year … but we stood for him. I’m going to fight discrimination no matter what color you are.”

Wright also protested when a 52-year-old white man, Bobby Bennett, was gunned down by Dallas police in 2013, according to a Dallas Morning News report. Police said Bennett came at them with a knife, but a neighbor’s surveillance video did not support that narrative.

In the pool party case, Wright said there could also be more to the story, but from what he knows now, the officer was out of line.

“None of these children are perfect, but we’re reaping what we sow. They should have been more respectful. But when you can’t raise your children at home, and the government can’t raise them, what do you expect? You’re reaping what you sow,” he said. “Government is responsible for that. I’m not a hater of police, and everyone in Dallas knows that. They know I’ve stood up for their police department, but this could have been handled a lot better according to protocol.’

“And also I’m waiting for the 9-1-1 call to hear what was said. At the end of the day, that is going to determine if he was justified in acting the way he did. I’m hoping that is the fact rather than it being a racist move.”

Wright said the nation is coming apart at the seams, racially, with race relations at a dismal level. “Why is it when this country is attacked, like on 9/11, we can all become brothers, we’re family,” he said, “then the minute it’s over we go back to the old mentality we have? Those who continue to do racial injustice are the ones I was talking about, not all police. I don’t hate police,” he said. “I support them.”

The original cell-phone video of the pool party Friday night went viral. The incident started when two individuals were involved in an altercation and the cops were called. A dozen officers responded. One, Casebolt, appeared to act more aggressively than the others, but some eyewitnesses said he acted reasonably given the chaos of the situation. WFAA-TV in Dallas reported that some of the parents whose children appeared in the viral video are angry that Casebolt not only used force, but cursed at the teens before pulling out his weapon.

Jahi Adisa Bakari’s daughter was at the pool party when chaos erupted. “The fact of the matter is, the officer recklessly attacks this young lady, who was following his instructions,” she told WFAA.

The thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis is beginning to disappear, and a new era of chaos and anarchy is coming to our cities.

I don’t know if you have noticed, but violence is increasing on the streets of America. Over Memorial Day weekend, 29 people were shot in Baltimore and 55 people were shot in Chicago. But of course the trend that I am talking about is much broader than that. According to the FBI, the number of police officers “feloniously killed” in the line of duty rose by an astounding 89 percent in 2014. We live at a time when Americans are becoming extremely angry and extremely frustrated, and this is only going to intensify as economic conditions worsen. But already we have seen some of this anger and frustration boil over into violence in Ferguson and in Baltimore. And you know what? The vast majority of Americans expect more of the same in the coming months. According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey that was recently released, 96 percent of all Americans believe that there will be more civil unrest in America this summer. What we have seen up until now is just the warm up act. The main event is still to come.

If things are this bad already, how bad will they be when the next great economic crisis hits this nation and unemployment skyrockets and poverty is everywhere?

That is why I am encouraging people that currently live in the heart of our major cities to consider moving. Unfortunately, most Americans are completely dependent on the jobs that they currently have, so moving is not really a practical option for a lot of people.

For those that cannot move, you are just going to have to get prepared right where you are. That means making your home and your family as unattractive a target to potential criminals as you possibly can. The goal should be to avoid a violent confrontation if at all possible. So you will want multiple layers of security between you and those that would potentially harm you and your family. You want to try to deter the bad guys from ever coming on to your property in the first place, but if they do come, you need to be ready to deal with them.

At the moment, we are still in the midst of relatively stable economic times. But even in these relatively stable times, violence is escalating. Just consider what happened in Baltimore over the recent holiday weekend. A grand total of 29 people were shot…

Police say 29 people were shot, 9 of them killed over this weekend, adding to the record-breaking violence.

The shooting didn’t stop on Monday night after a 9-year-old boy and another man were both injured by gun fire in the 2900 block of Arunah Avenue. Police say the child was shot in the leg and another man suffered a graze wound to the head.

Overall, this past month has been the deadliest month for Baltimore in 15 years.

Things are even worse in the city of Chicago. Over this past weekend, 55 people got shot…

Twelve people were killed and at least 43 — including a 4-year-old girl — were wounded in shootings across Chicago this Memorial Day weekend, police said.

The 4-year-old, identified by her family as Jacele Johnson, was shot about 8 p.m. Friday in the West Englewood neighborhood. She and her 17-year-old cousin Romare Wilson were inside an SUV in the 7000 block of South Justine when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to their family and Chicago Police.

Early in April, I went on the record and specifically named Chicago and Baltimore as two of the cities where we would be seeing civil unrest. Since that time we have seen horrible rioting in Baltimore and the violence in Chicago continues to spiral out of control.

Other experts are issuing similar warnings. For example, consider what an assistant professor at New Jersey City University recently had to say…

Urban unrest expert Dr. Max Herman says that the United States is on the “cusp” of a wave of domestic disorder and that the country will see more race riots.

Herman, Assistant Professor of Sociology at New Jersey City University, told the New Republic’s Joel Gillin that the economic downturn, in addition to incidents of police brutality, have provided fertile conditions for civil unrest.

He sees the re-emergence of a 60’s-style “protest ideology” amongst black communities which will lead to more disorder.

“It’s very clear from studying history that these things tend to run in cycles,” said Herman, adding, “I think we are at the cusp of another cycle.”

Author Chris Hedges is saying similar things. The following comes from a recent article about him in the National Post…

The United States is primed for a rebellion. So argues Chris Hedges in his new book, Wages of Rebellion, in which the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and polemicist examines revolts from 1700s to the ending of apartheid in South Africa, as well as the “sublime madness” that drives the people at the centre of such rebellions.

When asked by the National Post why he wrote his new book, this is what Hedges had to say…

I didn’t write it as a warning or a prediction. I wrote it more as an assessment. I covered disintegrating societies like Yugoslavia. I know how they break down; I know what the warning signs are, so it’s familiar. I don’t think at this point there’s much dispute. Even just the financial indicators in terms of wealth disparity and chronic unemployment. The fact that Congress has a nine-per-cent approval rating. Where I’m coming from, the book is an attempt to explain where we are in this particular historical period.

But it isn’t just that we are entering a new cycle of unrest. Our “leaders” have made things much worse by the decisions that they have made. For instance, Barack Obama’s decision to leave our southern border virtually unguarded has resulted in a massive flood of illegal immigrants coming into this country. As a result, violent gangs that have roots in Central America and South America have mushroomed in size. So now major cities far from the border such as Charlotte, North Carolina are being absolutely terrorized by these gangs…

Recent busts of murderous MS-13 gangsters put the lie to President Obama’s sympathetic amnesty narrative of illegal immigrants as “workers who mow our lawns, make our beds (and) clean out bedpans.”

Authorities Wednesday rounded up 37 MS-13 gang members in Charlotte, N.C., on racketeering conspiracy charges, along with charges of murder, attempted murder and firearms violations. All of them are illegal aliens from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. Several are round-trippers — illegals who broke in once, committed crimes, got deported and broke back into the U.S. — proving that our border is porous and unsecured.

Charlotte police discovered the rat’s nest of foreign gangsters after some of them started shooting up local nightclubs and bars.

In 2015, it isn’t just our own citizens that we need to be concerned about. At this point, many of our biggest cities are absolutely packed to the gills with gangs made up primarily of illegal immigrants. I discussed Chicago earlier. Did you know that it is estimated that approximately 150,000 gang members now live there? When things start really breaking down in this country, those gangs are going to have a field day.

America is changing, and not for the better. And when violence starts sweeping this nation, don’t count on the government to come in and rescue you. After watching what happened in Ferguson and in Baltimore, you should know better than that by now. It is time for the American people to prepare their own homes and their own neighborhoods for the chaos and the violence that is coming. For the moment, things are still relatively stable so we have a little bit of time to prepare, but it won’t last for long.

On May 14, protesters, upset with not being paid their promised checks for protesting, protested outside MORE, Missourians Organizing For Reform and Empowerment, an ACORN organization which had received funding through George Soros to fund the protests.

They even started a hashtag, #cutthechecks, to demand their money(@organizemo is the Twitter account of MORE):

Some folks had apparently been paid like Deray McKesson, and others hadn’t, causing further discord.

This protester indicates those who protested for more money were paid $2700 to stop making a fuss, but it would then impact the ability to protest over the summer in #Ferguson:

MORE and OBS, two groups funded by George Soros, advertised money available for people willing to travel to protest (@organizemo is the twitter account of MORE):

After protesters protested not getting their checks from MORE on May 14th, MORE allegedly distributed the following list as to who was paid to protest in Ferguson and elsewhere, to show where the money had been going.

Obviously, as we’ve mentioned before, this is far from a ‘grass roots spontaneous’ protest.

You can see money paid out to Lisa Fithian, $1,127.75 for ‘visit expenses’.

For those who do not know, Lisa Fithian is an infamous leftist organizer. She organized at Occupy, but has been used as a training organizer for many years before that. She spent time in Ferguson in 2014 training people to ‘simulate chaos’.

Also of note, you can see that some people are being paid to travel to other places to protest, you can see the travel to Selma, and to D.C., as well as money paid out for ‘vans’, including to a union for providing the vans. Lisa Fithian got $2000 for ‘activist trip to Baltimore’.

There is money paid for protester supplies and protester catering, as well as for video recording of the protests. Some things were not so defined such as $2000 to Taylor Payne for ‘support’.

$52,815 is paid to MORE. Money clearly was to go through them to the protesters, according to the protesters during their #cutthechecks protest.

There are big payouts to Jeff Ordower. Jeff Ordower is a bit like a male Lisa Fithian, he was an organizer for the SEIU and ACORN. He founded MORE and his stated goal is “welcoming co-conspirators in attempts to scale up numbers of radical organizers who can financially support themselves in the work”. He is the white man protesters are complaining to in this clip, when they protested not getting paid. He would appear to be disburser of the checks.

Brittany Ferrell and Ashley Yates receive thousands on behalf of MAU, Millenial Activists United, one of the protester groups. Ferrell, tries to justify her position in this Facebook post where she blames Ordower for screwing everything up.

Her post confirms the payouts to protesters and to her in particular.

Thug Tells Whites: Bow Down to Blacks, You’re All Gonna Die

A shocking confrontation filmed on the streets of New York highlights the racial animosity that continues to plague America in the aftermath of last year’s Ferguson riots and the rise of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. The incident began when a member of the Five-Percent Nation, a militant offshoot of the Nation of Islam, began harassing a group of white hipsters in Union Square.

An older black man begins an argument with the group before threatening to “turn this motherf–ker upside (down).”

“Where’s your man at? I’ll get him first. Straight up, I don’t give a f–k,” yells the man, adding, “I’m a thug, I’m from Brooklyn,” before referring to himself as the “King.”

One of the hipsters then jumps towards “King” and other members of the Five-Percent Nation, one of whom is wearing a “f–k the police” sweater, quickly move in to disperse the confrontation.

“You’re a dead man – I promise you,” yells “King” towards the man who confronted him.

However, the tone of the confrontation then begins to turn even more sinister as another member of the Five-Percent Nation states, “That’s why I stopped him, because this motherf–ker should be bowing to him.”

“Bowing?….Did this guy just say racist s–t here….he should be bowing to him because he’s black?” asks the man filming the incident.

“And just so ya’ll know, all of ya’ll time is coming, you’re all gonna die,” says the Five-Percent Nation thug.

“What do you mean ya’ll,” asks the cameraman.

“All of you people, and all of your derivatives, all of the people who love you,” responds the thug.

“You talking about white people?,” asks the cameraman.

“Yeah,” responds the thug.

The argument continues before the thug asserts, “by the end of this year you’ll be dead.”

“Is that a death threat, black man?” asks the cameraman.

“It’s already happening,” responds the thug.

One of the group that was threatened, himself black, then points out the threat also applied to him because his mother is white. The cameraman’s charge that the thug is a “racist piece of s–t” for calling for the mass genocide of white people would be disputed by social justice warriors and prominent black figures, who argue that it is impossible for black people or ethnic minorities to be racist.

Violent and racist rhetoric from elements of the #BlackLivesMatter movement in the aftermath of Ferguson, Missouri has become a common theme, but it is routinely downplayed or ignored by the mass media. Instead on focusing on police brutality, the movement has been steered to obsess on white guilt, a form of cultural marxism that absolves the state of blame and merely serves to create polarization and division between the people.

18-year-old Madeline Stuart has Down syndrome but refuses to let that stop her from her dream of becoming a model. On her Facebook page she said she is pursuing modeling to “help change societies view of people with Down Syndrome.”

According to Buzzfeed, the woman’s mother, Roseanne Stuart, said her daughter has struggled with her weight throughout her life but recently picked up dance, swimming and cheerleading. Roseanne said, “I think it is time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be sexy and beautiful and should be celebrated.”

Roseanne said that culture is much more accepting of people with disabilities now than when her daughter was first born. She said, “Things were a lot different 18 years ago. I remember having her in a [stroller] when she was a baby and small-minded people telling me she should not be out in public. Even her doctors said Madeline would never achieve anything. But things are changing every day and people are more accepting of what they don’t understand yet.”

Additionally, Roseanne explained that her daughter has become very confident despite her disability and she constantly reminds her that she’s perfect just the way she is. She said, “I have made a point of never letting anyone be critical of her. [I tell Maddy] every day how amazing, funny, smart, beautiful, [and] wonderful she is. It’s that confidence — and beauty, both inside and out — that Rosanne wants others to see. People need to see how she shines, how her personality just bursts out.”

She concluded, “People with Down syndrome can do anything. They just do it at their own pace. Give them a chance and you will be rewarded beyond your greatest expectations.”

As LifeNews previously reported, earlier this year Jamie Brewer became the first woman with Down syndrome to walk the runway during New York’s Fashion Week. Brewer said, “Young girls and even young women … [see me] and say ‘hey, if she can do it so can I.’ It’s a true inspiration being a role model for any young women to [encourage them] in being who they are and showing who they are.” She added, “Take the risk. Take the chance. Put your heart and soul into it, because when you put your soul into it, you will become what you’ve always dreamed. You, yourself, will become a legend.”

TODAY.com reports that Jamie is most recognized for her acting roles as Addie in “American Horror Story: Murder House,” Nan in “American Horror Story: Coven,” and Marjorie in “American Horror Story: Freak Show. However, she has also worked as an advocate for people with intellectual disabilities; and at 19, she was elected to the State of Texas ARC Board and worked on the Executive Board and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Although it is true that culture has changed a lot in regards to accepting children with disabilities, many women still believe abortion is the best solution when faced with a fetal abnormality. In fact, 90% of women who receive the prenatal diagnosis that their child will have Down syndrome end their life through abortion. This statistic should remind pro-lifers that our work in protecting the disabled is not finished. It is critical that we pass legislation to protect unborn babies with Down syndrome, as well as children with other disorders.

Cleveland Braces For Verdict In 2012 Police Shooting

I have never published anything from, or associated with, NPR. This report has importance because of the present racial unrest, and racial hatred, stirred up by the Sharpton/Jackson/Obama mob. While this is a copy of a transcript from one of their radio broadcasts, you can hear the Leftist application of propaganda. However, it is an important news report, because if things do erupt, like anticipated, you will have advance warning.

I find this report a little obvious because of the “meeting” they are reporting, and the City Councilman quoted. I’m not sure I am buying that they really want to avoid a riot, or giving advance promotion of one. You decide.

As the verdict nears in the racially charged case, city officials hope to avoid violence. They’ve reached out to civic and religious groups for constructive dialogue to help ward off potential unrest.

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

People in Cleveland, Ohio, are waiting for a verdict in a police shooting trial and waiting to see what follows. Incidents in Ferguson, Mo., and Baltimore led to violence. Protests after a shooting in Madison, Wis., were peaceful. Cleveland could go either way or its own distinctive way. Here’s the flashpoint. Officer Michael Brelo is on trial for voluntary manslaughter. He is accused in the shooting deaths of two black suspects, both unarmed, who were sitting in a car boxed in by the police. Here’s Brian Bull of member station WCPN.

BRIAN BULL, BYLINE:

I’m standing here outside of the Glenville Recreation Center on the east side of Cleveland. Inside, roughly two dozen people are gathered – law enforcement, local politicians, clergy and activists to discuss how they can best quell any violence that could happen in the wake of the Brelo verdict.

HANK DAVIS:

We’re getting ahead of the violence.

BULL:

Hank Davis is one of 75 citizen volunteer marshals whose job will be to walk the streets after the verdict, mediate any conflicts and point out trouble to police. The goal is to mirror Madison protesters rather than Baltimore’s after the verdict. Part of this effort will be to identify agitators who officials fear might try to spark riots.

DAVIS:

Anyone that’s looking to come and confuse our kids, our youth, and mislead the people and bring chaos and mayhem, I would suggest that you find another city or somewhere else to do it because it won’t be tolerated in Cleveland.

BULL:

Cleveland officials have designated nearly five dozen churches across the city as safe places after the verdict is announced. Pastor Andrew Clark of the Federation of Network Ministries says anyone upset over the outcome can come in for counseling and a shoulder to lean on. Clark says he’s had good talks with the Cleveland police over preparations.

PASTOR ANDREW CLARK:

We have been assured that the police officers will not be in riot gear, that they are not going to stop any demonstration or protest.

BULL:

That contrasts for Ferguson’s police response which was highly criticized for being militarized following the Michael Brown shooting. Cleveland protesters did shut down traffic around Public Square last fall after a rookie officer fatally shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice, who had only a gun that shot plastic pellets in his hand.

But the protest was more disruption than destruction. The city has also set up a Twitter hashtag #onecle to promote a united city. Cleveland leaders also held a community safety meeting outlining their teamwork with civic groups to promote calm among residents. Cleveland’s police spokesman, Ali Pillow, says they’re trying to stay ahead of the protests.

ALI PILLOW:

I wouldn’t dare compare or critique anything that the Ferguson Police Department did. But in terms of the Cleveland Department, this is the proactive approach that the city and the police department has taken.

BULL:

And city councilman Kevin Conwell says he plans to ride around the city after the verdict.

KEVIN CONWELL:

I plan to ride the neighborhood for three days after the verdict if he’s acquitted. I have to ride. I have to show leadership. And I’ll be out there riding all the time, seeing what’s going on, riding the streets.

BULL:

With so many people from the Cleveland community working to offset any violence, city leaders are hoping that residents respond to appeals from neighbors and activists urging peaceful protest. For NPR News, I’m Brian Bull in Cleveland.

FBI will investigate report object struck train before Philly derailment

The FBI will investigate a report that a projectile may have hit an Amtrak train moments before it derailed in Philadelphia, killing eight people, the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday. FBI forensic experts are going to examine damage to the train’s windshield after the train’s crew reported something may have hit it before the crash, the paper said. National Transportation Safety Board member Robert Sumwalt said the FBI was brought in after investigators interviewed three of the train’s crew members, including engineer Brandon Bostian. Sumwalt said Bostian was “extremely cooperative but didn’t remember anything after passing the North Philadelphia station.

The derailment Tuesday killed eight people and injured more than 200 people. The train jumped the tracks as it approached a sharp curve at 106 mph, more than twice the speed limit. Without Bostian’s cooperation investigators face a tough task trying to determine why the train accelerated from more than 70 miles per hour to 106 mph over 65 seconds, the Journal said.

Sumwalt said a conductor aboard the train reported hearing a conversation in which the engineer of a nearby local regional train told her engineer that his engine had been hit by an object or shot at and she thought she heard her engineer say the same thing may have happened to him. Sumwalt said his team has “seen damage to the left hand lower portion of the Amtrak windshield” and has asked the FBI to look at it.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority spokeswoman Jerri Williams told the Philadelphia Inquirer at the time of the accident that a Trenton, N.J.-bound commuter train had been struck by an “unknown projectile” around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, breaking the engineer’s window. The Amtrak train derailed about 9:30 p.m. three miles away.

SEPTA does not yet know what caused the damage to its train that night, Williams said. SEPTA trains traveling through the area — including one of the poorest and most violent parts of the city — have had projectiles thrown at them in the past, whether by vandals or teenagers, she said. It was unusual that the SEPTA train was forced to stop on Tuesday night.

Sumwalt said Bostian told investigators he last remembered ringing the train’s bell while passing through the North Philadelphia station Tuesday night. “He has no recollection of anything past that,” Sumwalt said. Bostian’s lawyer has said his client suffered a concussion in the wreck. He said Bostian had not been using his cell phone and had not been drinking or using drugs.

Romans 13, Christian Resistance, and the Coming Tyranny

In a previous article I discussed the biblical principle of Christian resistance as it relates to the upcoming Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage. As was pointed out in that article, there are examples in the Bible of God’s people resisting direct commands by civil officials based on a very specific set of higher law principles.

Christian apologist Francis A. Schaeffer wrote, “Let us not forget why the Christians were killed. They were not killed because they worshipped Jesus… Nobody cared who worshipped whom as long as the worshipper did not disrupt the unity of the state, centered in the formal worship of Caesar. The reason Christians were killed was because they were rebels”1 and placed the God of the Bible over the claim that the State and its Caesars were gods. The proof?: “they all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus” (Acts 17:7).

This is an old story that has a modern history. King James of the King James Bible wanted a translation that countered the notes in the 1559 Geneva Bible, the Bible of the Puritans and Pilgrims. “For example, the margin notes for Daniel 6:22 imply that the commands of kings are to be disobeyed if they conflict with the law of God: ‘For he [Daniel] disobeyed the king’s wicked commandment in order to obey God, and so he did no injury to the king, who ought to command nothing by which God would be dishonored.’”2

Alister McGrath comments:

“Notice also how the Genevan notes regularly use the word ‘tyrant’ to refer to kings; the King James Bible never uses this word—a fact noted with approval as much as relief by many royalists at this point.”3

It’s no wonder that King James “authorized a fresh translation of the Bible to undermine the republican implications of the Geneva Bible.”4

Because of its no exception tone, Romans 13 is seen as prohibiting all resistance to the law of the State: “Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. . . (v. 1). The apostle lists no exceptions. Peter makes a similar statement: “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right” (1 Peter 2:13-14). Again, no exceptions. This is the same Peter who declared, “We must obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29; cf. 4:19-20). How do we reconcile the apparent contradiction?

Jonathan Mayhew (1720-1766) states the following in his 1750 sermon “Concerning Unlimited Submission and Non-Resistance to the Higher Powers”:

“Thus, upon a careful review of the apostle’s reasoning in this passage, it appears that his arguments to enforce submission, are of such a nature, as to conclude only in favor of submission to such rulers as he himself describes; i.e., such as rule for the good of society, which is the only end of their institution. Common tyrants, and public oppressors, are not entitled to obedience from their subjects, by virtue of anything here laid down by the inspired apostle.”There are a number of places in Scripture where one verse speaks in absolute terms and other verses offer exceptions. This is not unusual. If I tell my grandchildren to go outside and play until dinner is ready, I have spoken in absolute terms. They are not to come into the house until they are called. No exceptions are given. What if it rains? What if a large dog enters the yard? Can they enter the house without violating my absolute and no exception command?

They would not be violating my “no exception” command because there are unspoken exceptions. They are assumed to be operating without them having to be repeated each time a new command is given. They have been told on previous occasions to “come in when it’s raining” and “do not get near stray dogs that wander into the yard.”

The Bible operates in the same manner. In one place Jesus says, “All those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword” (Matt. 26:52). Does this include the civil magistrate? What about the person who strikes an assailant in self-defense? Is this not an exception to Jesus’ “no exception” statement? Since the Bible already discusses self-defense (Ex. 22:2-3; Deut. 19:21) and the role of the civil magistrate (e.g., Gen. 9:6), there is no need to repeat the exceptions since Jesus’ hearers knew He has anarchy and revolution in mind (e.g., Lev. 19:18), not the just use of the sword. Romans 13:4 explains that it is the duty of the civil magistrate to use the sword in certain specified cases. Is this a contradiction? No.

So then, when we read passages like Romans 13:1 and 1 Peter 2:13-14, we must not neglect the rest of the Bible that is equally authoritative and more fully explains and qualifies these passages.

“Many general statements of Scripture must be open to admitting exceptions even those qualifications are not immediately spelled out. Why are so many generalizations stated without qualification? Because the exact conditions restricting their applicability are not known, or because the “accidental” or providential circumstances that render them inapplicable occur so seldom as to be practically negligible, or because such qualification has already been stipulated in another inscripturated context.”5

In summary, we must recognize that as the State becomes more tyrannical and non-Christian in its social and political policies, conflicts between church and State will multiply. That conflict may make it necessary for Christians to say no to statist laws that will force them to violate the laws of God.

There is an additional reason why Christians must understand the limits of civil jurisdiction and the limits of resistance. Because of a desire to see the current corruption in our own nation reversed, some Christians may take it upon themselves to bring about change by revolutionary means. This is an unbiblical agenda to pursue. There is no warrant in Scripture for a revolutionary spirit.

How Christians go about resisting is a question that needs to be answered in exacting detail. The fact that we have lesser magistrates – state governments, governors, and state constitutions – that can serve as legitimate governing authorities as a means to rebuff civil and judicial tyranny is a viable governing avenue for Christians to take.

Just hours after the Islamic terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, left two men dead, a conservative comedian absolutely nailed it with this joke on Twitter:

But critics were quick to jump on Evan Sayet, calling him insensitive and sparking a huge debate on his Twitter feed.

We caught up with Sayet via email after his tweet went viral to ask about PC culture and media coverage of the shooting.

“Political Correctness — which is just a euphemism for the totalitarian concept of ‘Newspeak’ written about by Orwell in 1984 – has nearly destroyed comedy in the same way that it has nearly destroyed education, journalism and the other fields where the powers-that-be are on the Left,” Sayet told TheDCNF. “Now, just as the ‘education’ system is used to indoctrinate children and ‘journalism’ is used to give credence to Leftist policies and positions, comedy (and the whole of the entertainment industry) is used to reinforce Leftist propaganda.”

The Los Angeles comedian said the critics are the elite left, not every day Americans.

“The response, in fact, has not only been overwhelming but overwhelmingly positive,” Sayet told TheDCNF. “The vast majority of Americans — especially those outside the Leftists’ bastions of academia, journalism, entertainment and Democratic Party politics — are wholly in support of my statement whereby hundreds of innocents being saved by the killing of two terrorists is a GOOD thing.”

Sayet said he does not regret the tweet in the slightest.

“I only regret we live in a society where a joke at the expense of would-be mass murderers is something that anyone thinks I have to defend. And, again, the Leftists have accomplished their goal,” Sayet told TheDCNF. “Who is really irreverent here, me in a silly tweet about would-be mass murderers or those who sought to assault that which SHOULD be revered, the First Amendment right — the HUMAN right — of free speech?”

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a pair of New Orleans teens for the shotgun murder of David Pence and his son, Nicholas, in Metairie.

Dexter Allen, 17, and Haraquon Degruy, 18, were arrested in New Orleans Friday (April 24) after a brief car chase, Sheriff Newell Normand announced at a press conference Sunday.

Normand said Allen gunned down the Pences Wednesday night inside their home in the 3700 block of Clifford Drive, shooting David Pence three times with a shotgun, then shooting Nicholas Pence twice.

Normand said Degruy told investigators she and Allen, who had pulled into the Pences’ driveway in a stolen vehicle, had been committing car burglaries in the neighborhood.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office announces the arrests of Dexter Allen and Haraquon Degruy for involvement in the murders of David and Nicholas Pence in Metairie.

Protests over the death of a black man who apparently suffered fatal injuries while in police custody in Baltimore grew violent over the weekend. Fox News reports that dozens of protestors were arrested and six officers injured during volatile street demonstrations that saw police cars as well as a number of stores damaged as authorities tried to control the rowdy crowds.

“…a smaller “splinter group” looted a convenience store and threw tables and chairs through storefront windows, shattering the glass. One group smashed the window of a department store inside a downtown mall and, at one point, a protester tossed a flaming metal garbage can toward a line of police officers in riot gear as they tried to push back the crowd.”

Baltimore’s Police Commissioner Anthony Batts indicated that the “very violent agitators” were not residents of the city but came in from the outside to cause trouble. The death of Freddie Gray on April 19th has led to almost daily protests over his alleged mistreatment by police who had taken him into custody a week earlier.

In a news conference over the weekend, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, while calling for calm in the city, made what many consider an astonishing admission about her instructions to police trying to maintain crowd control. It was an instruction that, according to the mayor’s own words, gave protestors protections far beyond their First Amendment rights to free speech.

Mayor Rawlings-Blake told reporters, “We also gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that as well,” thus giving what appeared to be a clear signal to rioters that their destruction of public and private property was a legitimate expression of their anger.

The family says, “We don’t want another Ferguson circus”. They don’t want Al Sharpton to start another race baiting fire. Walter Scott’s family have asked Al Sharpton not to attend the funeral, it is claimed.

The New York-based Reverend became a prominent voice in the wake of Michael Brown’s shooting at the hands of a white police officer in Ferguson last August.

But as the nation’s attention turns to South Carolina and footage showing Officer Michael Slager shooting dead father-of-four Walter Scott, his parents and brothers have made plain that they do not want the same treatment.

According to the New York Daily News, the family told Rev Sharpton to ‘keep away’ from the relatives-only memorial service. A source close to the Scotts told the paper: ‘We don’t want another Ferguson type of circus here.’

Though the family of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown welcomed Sharpton’s support, he was criticized by others for stirring rage as violent protests escalated in the Missouri city.

The Scott family’s lawyer, Chris Stewart, told the Daily News: ‘The Reverend Al has called and expressed his support and condolences. The family is very appreciative.’

Responding to the allegations that he has been barred from the service, Sharpton told the paper that he ‘would never come unless they asked’, adding that he is ‘willing to be helpful to the family but only when needed.’

When Papa Mc Ran the Pews

I don’t think there’s any debate that Western culture is living in blatant and proud rebellion against God and godly principles.

Papa Mc was “runnin’ the pews,” and this four-year-old was scared to death. Runnin’ the pews? Yep, that’s what I said. Papa Mc was caught up in the Holy Spirit at Cliff Springs Methodist Church revival. His big feet landed lightly only on the backs and seats of the pews as he raced from the back of the little church to the front and back again, lifting his arms and shouting all the way. I hovered horrified in the pew where he had left me.

My granddaddy Thomas I. McWaters was my best buddy in those post WWII days. He and Mama Mc kept me company while Mom and Dad taught school. I didn’t know it was child care. I thought they wanted to hang out with me. Those were halcyon days. Revival with Papa Mc. Lunch at Mama Mc’s kitchen table. On warm days, Papa Mc sat in a straight chair leaned back against the outside wall, supervising my creative corncob construction of houses and forts, winding highways, and city streets. (No Legos in my time.)

On the morning of the Cliff Springs revival, Papa Mc and I had walked a mile up the dusty road to attend morning revival services. I remember two things about that morning: his big hand holding mine as we walked and the performance he put on in the church. I don’t recall that we ever talked about it afterward. I wouldn’t have had the courage to ask him about it.

Papa Mc died about a year later. I’m grateful I got to spend a lot of time with him during my childhood. Through the years, I was witness to more revival services in which men and women were filled with the Spirit in extraordinary ways, people spoke in tongues, and God moved in great ways. For me, they validated Papa Mc’s reckless worship that had frightened me as a child. As I grew into adulthood, however, our little country churches grew more and more inclined toward restraint and “proper” decorum in worship.

I wonder if today’s church needs a little dose of Papa Mc’s Holy Spirit. Clearly, the church in our nation needs spiritual CPR. No follower of Christ can look about in our chaotic, confused, and morally challenged culture and not recognize our desperate need for revival. I use that word – revival – in its literal sense. I’m not talking about evangelism, local church outreach, missions, or personally sharing our faith with others – though all of those are needful for a vibrant body of Christ.

I’m talking about the church as a whole. The Western arm of the body of Christ needs to return to a walk with Jesus Christ that depends on Him, not our own devices and strategies. A walk that demonstrates humility, not pride. A walk that is others-centric, not self-centered. A walk that reveals godly love, not human lust. A walk that shows restraint, not selfish gratification. A walk that illustrates obedience to God, not obeisance to our own desires.

The Bible is well seasoned throughout with stories of dramatic revival, both on the personal plain of individuals and on the corporate plain of God’s people. We’re well familiar with the Old Testament cycle that recurs through the generations. God’s people draw close to Him. They thrive and grow and prosper. They rebel and turn away from God. Their spiritual life takes a nosedive. They repent and turn back to God. He restores. They thrive. They rebel. They fall away. They repent. He restores. Thrive. Rebel. Fall away. Repent. Restored.

I don’t think there’s any debate that Western culture is living in blatant and proud rebellion against God and godly principles. Unfortunately, the church too often reflects the culture rather than being a light to bring it back to God. Are we, too, living in rebellion against Him?

God’s warnings to the seven churches in Revelation should melt our hearts and rattle our conscience. He described the church at Sardis this way: “I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent” (Revelation 3:1-3, NASB).

A number of key words in that passage pinpoint elements that either lead to or are inherent in revival:

your deeds — obedience to God’s commands
wake up — conviction of sin
strengthen — exercise of faith
remember – acknowledgement of God’s faithfulness
keep it — faithfulness in daily life
repent — turning from sin

No, it isn’t a packaged, perfect formula, but it does describe a path to revival for God’s people, one at a time and all together.

Papa Mc, my parents, and my generation all grew up with William P. Mackay’s 1863 hymn “Revive Us Again.” Haven’t heard that one in my church in decades. The chorus uses both praise and pleading: “Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Revive us again.”

Stephen Olford (1918-2004), pastor and Christian leader, once said, “It is my conviction that we are never going to have a revival until God has brought the church of Jesus Christ to the point of desperation.”

Are we desperate yet?

“If it happened to them, they probably would say, ‘Something about this just ain’t right.'”

Many took to Twitter to voice their disapproval once recordings of Robertson’s speech made their way onto the Internet.

Meanwhile, some “Duck” fans stood up for Robertson, who is no stranger to scandal.

Representatives for Phil Robertson and “Duck Dynasty” did not immediately return FOX411’s requests for comment.

The patriarch of A&E’s reality TV family has been slammed in the past for his rants. Most memorably, Robertson criticized homosexually, using graphic terms, in an interview with GQ. The backlash following the interview got the Robertson father suspended from “Duck Dynasty,” but A&E reinstated him a short while later.

“Duck Dynasty” recently aired its seventh season on A&E, which wrapped in February.

Woman Attacks Pregnant Mom and Cuts 7-Month-Old Baby Out of Her Womb

On Wednesday, Dynel Catrece Lane was arrested after she attacked a pregnant woman and cut her 7-month-old unborn baby from her womb. In this unbelievable act of violence, the baby died but the woman is expected to survive. Lane is scheduled to appear in court today and is being accused of three criminal felonies: attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault and child abuse knowingly/recklessly resulting in death.

According to CBS News, the suspect was arrested at Longmont United Hospital after she and her husband came in with the deceased baby. Apparently Lane’s husband didn’t know about the crime and thought she miscarried their baby. He drove her to the hospital but is not considered a suspect. Lane has at least two children who live with her at their home in Longmont, Colorado. The victim was seven-months pregnant and was visiting Lane’s home to buy baby clothes advertised on Craigslist.

A 911 recording shows the baby breathed a heavy last gasp before she died.

Police s pokesman, Jeff Satur , said, “This is a tragic case for a mother right now. She came by this house. She was attacked, and her baby was removed from her. We’ve made some requests of Craigslist to try to freeze that account. At this point, we don’t want to give away too much, because we don’t want it removed.” He added, “Officers arrived on scene and could hear a female calling for help inside the home. Officers entered the home and located a female who had been beaten and stabbed in the stomach.”

Boulder County’s District Attorney, Stan Garnett, said his office will consider what formal charges to file. He said, “The issues involving an unborn child are complicated under Colorado law. In most circumstances, if a child was not actually born alive, then homicide charges are not possible.” Unfortunately, prosecutors will not be able to bring charges for the unborn child’s death because Colorado state law does not regard unborn children as human beings who deserve justice when they are killed. In 2013, Colorado Democrats killed a bill that would add the state to the list of more than 25 states that provide justice and protection for pregnant women and unborn children.

As LifeNews previously reported, many states recognize the unlawful killing of an unborn child as homicide in at least some circumstances. Colorado Rep. Janak Joshi supported the 2013 bill and hoped the committee would approve it. He said, “…Colorado law has a glaring loophole that fails to protect unborn children who are harmed or killed during the commission of a crime. In the past, pro-abortion legislators have tried to dismiss this type of bill as unnecessary. Even though this bill is not about abortion, the radical pro-abortion lobby is pulling out all the stops to defeat this bill. In fact, Planned Parenthood has publicly admitted that they refuse to give even an inch when it comes to protecting pre-born babies.”

Armed Black Panthers Call for Murder of Cops at Open Carry March – DOJ Silent – Freedom Outpost

Armed Black Panthers showed up at an open carry march on Monday at the South by Southwest festival in Texas. But they didn’t show up to affirm a right to keep and bear arms, but rather to incite insurrection by calling for the murder of police officers. Yet, not only were local law enforcement silent on the matter, but so was the Obama Justice Department.

Among some of the slogans that were chanted as they made their way to the Texas Capitol were, “Oink, Oink, Bang! Bang!” and “A pig is a pig that’s what I said, the only good pig is a pig that’s dead.” Obviously the references to “pigs” are to police officers. Some of these degenerates were from the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, according to a patch on seen on several of the jackets. Additionally, some of the language used in their public display should warrant their arrest and prosecution (yeah, that’s not part of free speech).

They also made reference to “Marching down the avenue, twenty more pigs and we’ll be through.” (SEE VIDEO BELOW)

While we have seen many protests against police officers in Ferguson, Portland and New York, the blatant inciting to murder by the Black Panthers should be dealt with swiftly, lawfully and severely. I am one for holding police officers who abuse their authority responsible. I am also for protecting those who stay within their sphere of authority against these punks.

Last year, the New Black Panthers were used by the Obama DOJ to incite insurrection in Ferguson, following the shooting of Michael Brown. In an article I wrote on that, I also provided the following video of King Samir Shabazz, who called to kill all white people, including their babies. *Warning* Graphic language.

Again, someone should be lawfully taking care of these criminals.

The Black Panthers, which are comprised of many converts to Islam planned to bomb the St. Louis Arch, kill the prosecutor in the case of Michael Brown and the Ferguson Police Chief. Does this sound like lawful behavior or vigilantism and criminal activity?

We also know that Malik Zulu Shabazz put out his new year’s resolution for 2015 was to “build up that army” and “go to the gun range.” While he touted it as “self-defense,” the previous statements of members of the Black Panthers indicate that they are not preparing for self-defense. They are preparing to bring a war to America against those with white skin. By the way, you’ll notice in the video above there are white people in the march. They are completely clueless. I am all for the keeping and bearing of arms. I am all for going to the gun range. I’m for training in a militia for defending a free state. However, I am not for the calling of the murder of police officers. I am not for the calling for genocide or violent activity that is unlawful.

So, the question then must be asked, who is allowing this kind of lawless behavior to continue? Who is emboldening these criminals? It’s been none other than the criminal Obama administration’s own Justice Department, who have rendered anything but justice in this country. The failure of the Justice Department to deal justly with the Black Panthers for their intimidation at voters and their criminal calls to murder white people has just emboldened them, much like Barack Obama has emboldened sodomites in our midst and the Islamic jihadists both in and outside of America. It was known that a former FBI informant was responsible for not only teaching the Black Panthers to use guns by also supplying them with weapons before the deadly shootouts that took place with Oakland police in the 1960s.

This Justice Department knowingly and willfully supplied thousands of weapons across the US/Mexico border in Operation Fast and Furious in order to not only supply them to Mexican drug cartels, but also to use it as a pretense to go after law abiding American’s guns. Is there anyone under any illusion that there is a real possibility that they are supplying arms to the New Black Panthers? It’s just a question of ethics, right? And anyone that understand the radicals in the White House must understand their criminal background. Keep in mind that Barack Obama is good friends with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and that Attorney General Eric Holder was involved in an armed takeover of a former Columbia University ROTC office.

How in the world are men such as this allowed to hold any federal office? How are they able to obtain any security clearance? Corruption, my friends. Plain and simple, corruption.

Sadly, this is only going to continue because America seems to be more pleased with rhetoric they agree with coming from politicians than they do actually getting resolve and justice from them.

Ferguson: A Murderous Mob Incited by Holder and Obama

Two police officers in Ferguson, MO were shot at a protest early Thursday against alleged racism in the department and the city itself. It was not enough that the chief of police had just resigned. It was not enough that a local judge had quit. It was not enough that the Department of Justice had exonerated former officer Darren Wilson. No–the mob, told by President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder that Ferguson was still guilty of racism, wanted “justice.”

The violence is the direct result of incitement by the federal government on the basis of trumped-up accusations, based on the faulty notion that a city that enforces traffic tickets vigorously as a means of raising revenue is inherently racist. (By that standard, my own ultra-progressive town of Santa Monica, California would be akin to a Ku Klux Klan headquarters.)

Racist emails discovered from a few employees implicated those individuals alone–but Obama and Holder wanted more. They, and serial inciter Al Sharpton, wanted the humiliation of the town, wanted the division of America, wanted it to be clear that white public officials could never represent a black population, wanted middle America to know that the federal government could nullify self-government at a whim.

On the basis of the “hands up, don’t shoot” lie, they let black businesses in Ferguson be torched and sowed rage across the country that took the lives of two police officers in New York. Now the campaign of terror against police has come back to where the great lie started. Obama and Holder will not finish until they have destroyed Ferguson–destroyed it, in the oft-mocked parlance of the Vietnam era, in order to save it, razed it to rebuild it in the stylized image of Selma 1965, razed it in order to fit the delusions of an Attorney General who thinks we have made no progress since the era of Malcolm X and a President who once promised–incredibly!–to unite America.

This protest has been updated to reflect the fact that while the protest began Wednesday evening, the shooting was reported Thursday morning.

Pinch Pharmacist’s Daily Devotional Offers Comfort After Deadly Shooting

PINCH, W.Va. – A pharmacist in Pinch who was forced to make an incredibly difficult decision when an armed robbery turned deadly is speaking out and sharing how his faith is helping him through the ordeal.

Don Radcliff spoke with Eyewitness News Reporter Kennie Bass and said he is taking no joy in what happened Wednesday. Radcliff said he does not consider himself a hero, even though his actions may have saved the lives of his co-workers and customers when he shot an armed man at Good Family Pharmacy in Pinch.

Eight people were inside the pharmacy in Pinch when the suspect came through the door about 9:45 a.m. Kanawha deputies said the man, identified by Kanawha deputies as Terry Gillenwater, 25, of Quick, was wearing a mask over his face. He stood in line for a few moments before producing a handgun and pointing it directly at the counter workers.

Radcliff said he was standing just a few feet away. He drew his own weapon, firing three times, hitting the suspect twice and one shot actually hit the man’s gun as he was aiming to fire back.

On Thursday, he is back on the job, shaken, but trying to move forward.

Radcliff said he has received tremendous support from his family and friends, but also from his faith. Radcliff shared Thursday’s devotion from his daily devotional.

“Thursday, February 19th, John 10, 7 to 18, ‘A thief comes only to steal and to kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.’ That’s verse 10,” Radcliff said. “Abundance isn’t God’s provision for me to live in luxury; it’s his provision for me to help others live.”

Radcliff said it is exactly what he needed to hear. “So many times when I read this daily devotional it’s exactly what I need to hear. And today it was what I needed to hear,” Radcliff said.

Radcliff’s wife, Dixie, said it was an incredibly emotional day for both of them and they are still trying to process what happened.

This is a real hero and a man who should be featured front page on every news site! When a Virginia trucker pulled into a run of the mill rest stop, he never would have believed he would save someone’s life. Kevin Kimmel parked at a truck stop in New Kent County, Virginia. As he was sipping coffee in his cab, he noticed a odd-looking RV with black drapes covering its windows.

Then, he saw caught a glimpse of a young girl’s face looking out one of the windows. And something about the look on her face disturbed him. So he started watching the RV more intently.

It seems the girl was being held by sex traffickers and was being forced into a life of prostitution and the trucker’s vague feeling that something wasn’t right saved her from a life of slavery and degradation.

A truck driver has described the moment he spotted a suspected trafficking victim peeking out of a van before a man got in and the vehicle ‘started rocking’.

Kevin Kimmel was parked at a gas station in Richmond, Virginia, on January 6 when he witnessed the alleged incident and called police.

His call led to an FBI investigation after officers found a dishevelled 20-year-old woman who appeared to be malnourished with puncture wounds in her feet, according to a police report.

An Iowa couple, Aldair Hodza, 36, and Laura Sorensen, 31, have been charged with abducting the woman and forcing her into an online prostitution scheme.

Court documents allege Hodza tortured the woman by burning her with keys heated over a stove, and driving nails into her feet with a hammer.

“When I saw the young girl’s face, I said that’s not going to happen, I’ve got daughters and granddaughters,” Kimmel told WTVR.

“I only learned the gruesome details through the news. I’m just happy I helped her,” he added.

57,762,169 Abortions in America Since Roe vs. Wade in 1973

The United States marks 42 years of legalized abortion in all fifty states at any time for any reason throughout pregnancy on January 22nd, the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. Since that time, there have been approximately 57,762,169 abortions that have destroyed the lives of unborn children.

How is that number calculated?

A few years ago, in the document, “Abortion Statistics: United States Data and Trends,” National Right to Life Committee education director Dr. Randall K. O’Bannon issued an estimate of the number of abortions tabulated annually by the Centers for Disease Control and the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute up to that point.

Guttmacher receives numbers directly from abortion centers themselves and is the prime source for more current figures because the Centers for Disease Control has never tabulated accurate numbers of abortions. The CDC provides some help in tabulating abortion figures, but it relies on figures from state health departments, some of which rely on voluntary reporting — and it hasn’t had data from some states such as California and New Hampshire for more than a decade.

“Because of these different methods of data collection, GI has consistently obtained higher counts than the CDC. CDC researchers have admitted it probably undercounts the total number of abortions because reporting laws vary from state to state and some abortionists probably do not report or under-report the abortions they perform,” O’Bannon says.

Then, last year, O’Bannon calculated there had been over 56.6 million abortions — using Guttmacher estimates to determine the approximate number of abortions for 2013.

“Thus the 56 million+ figure comes from the mathematical application of the assumption that the Guttmacher numbers will roughly reflect the same declining percentage in the number of abortions that the CDC found,” he said at the time.

Since then, Guttmacher released a new report showing 1.1 million abortions in 2011 and showing abortions declining to historic lows. That report came early in 2014 and the CDC issued a report late last year. The CDC showed that from 2010 to 2011, the total number and rate of reported abortions decreased 5% and the abortion ratio decreased 4%, and from 2002 to 2011.

Because neither agency has abortion figures since 2011, abortions for years after that must be estimated based on old data. Because Guttmacher has the more accurate abortion records of the two, their figure of 1.1 million abortions is the most reliable per year. Adding that to last year’s total yields 57,762,169 — a number that may admittedly be adjusted slightly downwards assuming the trend of fewer abortions continues after the last reported totals from 2011.

O’Bannon previously had some excellent insights into the abortion totals:

The long term trend is fewer abortions, and the number is down significantly from 1990 when the country saw 1.6 million abortions a year. As one measure of the impact your work has had, if the number of abortions had remained at 1.6 million, more than seven MILLION more babies would have died.

The publication of data from the CDC last November is good reason to believe there is a new major downward trend. We obviously can’t know in advance whether the numbers Guttmacher will publish later this year will show the same drop off.

Despite the seeming precision, this is not an exact number. No such number is possible. There will always be missed abortions, missed abortionists. Adjustments, however careful, will always be imprecise. But given the data we have, we feel it is reasonable to assume that we have now seen at least 57 million lives lost since Roe. Of course, we all know that we are talking about more than just numbers or statistics. The blood of more than 57 million aborted babies represents an enormous stain on our national conscience and a heavy burden on our hearts.

But these numbers also show us that our efforts have not been in vain. As noted above, if our nation had continued at the rate of 1.6 million abortions a year we saw in 1990, our cumulative total would have been approaching 64 million by now. That would translate into approximately 7 million more babies alive today than would have otherwise been the case. That is the equivalent to the number of abortions performed over a span of six to seven years–living human beings alive today because of you!

Of course the Movement has a long way to go to return full legal protection to unborn children. But never underestimate the importance of what you, grassroots pro-life America, are doing.

What you do makes a real difference.

Hunt on for gunman who shot 2 NYPD cops

In another bloody attack on New York’s Finest, two cops were shot by robbers in The Bronx on Monday night — and a massive manhunt was under way for at least one suspect early Tuesday.

Plainclothes officers Andrew Dossi and Aliro Pellarano had just finished their shift but came back on to respond to a grocery store robbery at 363 E. 180th St. when they came upon two suspects at 184th Street, authorities said.

One of them ducked into a Chinese restaurant on Tiebout Avenue at about 10:35 p.m. while the other stayed outside, according to NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton.

“As two of the officers approached the male on the street, the other suspect inside of the store came out and fired upon the officers,” Bratton said. “The officers returned fire.”

The suspects then fled on foot while exchanging gunfire with cops at 184th Street and Tiebout Avenue.

“We are currently investigating if the suspect who fired upon the officers was also involved in the prior robbery,” Bratton said.

Investigators have recovered the .44-caliber Ruger used in the attack on the cops.

Witnesses said they heard a series of gunshots near the location.

Pellarano, 38, was struck in the left arm and grazed in the chest, while Dossi, 30, was shot in the left arm and lower back, authorities said.

“I heard six shots,” said Stephen Melowski, 36. “I looked out and I saw the shot cops getting inside a car. Somebody was saying, ‘Oh my God, oh my God!’ ”

The suspects then carjacked a white Camaro and drove a short distance before crashing at 188th Street and Park Avenue. They then got out and started running.

Both officers, from the 46th Precinct, were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. Dossi was in surgery Tuesday morning. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Both officers are expected to survive their wounds.

The suspects are described as Hispanics between 25 and 30, who wore dark clothes Monday night.

The gunman inside the Chinese restaurant appeared to have a close-cropped full beard.

“Thank God these officers are doing well,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said from the hospital Tuesday morning. “These officers did something that was extraordinarily brave. They did it as part of their commitment. These officers had just come off their shift and upon hearing this call, went back out in search of these criminals. The work they do is so profoundly important in this instance where they went above and beyond the call to protect their fellow New Yorkers.”

PBA Bronx Trustee Joe Anthony said the officers had already ended their shift when they responded to the call.

“Instead of going home to their families, they heroically ran out to help the citizens of the Bronx who were in danger, putting their lives on the line,” Anthony said.

One possible suspect was apprehended at New York Presbyterian Hospital when he sought treatment for a gunshot wound. It was not clear how he was shot.

The NYPD was scouring the area to find at least one other suspect who fled after the shootout.

Sources said there might be a third suspect involved in the heist.

Cops confiscated a black Nissan Altima that was parked outside New York Presbyterian Hospital. The car was rented from an agency in Mount Kisco.

It was not clear how the Altima was connected with the suspects, but it may have been the vehicle used to take the wounded suspect to the hospital after the shooting, law enforcement sources said.

De Blasio arrived at St. Barnabas early Tuesday to console the families of the injured officers.

COP SHOT posted a $10,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the gunman.

Mayor de Blasio, pleaded with the public to step up, tweeting: “It’s crucial that the people of this city aid in this investigation. If you have information, please call 1-800-577-TIPS right away.”

The shooting comes just 16 days after Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were shot execution-style while sitting in their squad car in Brooklyn.

Liu and Ramos were gunned down by a deranged man who said he was out for revenge after the grand jury decision not to indict an NYPD officer in the chokehold death of Eric Garner.

Woman Shot in the Head Because She Wouldn’t Take Pill to Kill Her Unborn Baby

A man who worried his girlfriend may be pregnant shot her in the head because she refused to take the morning-after pill, which he believed would either prevent her from becoming pregnant or end the life of her developing unborn child shortly after conception.

Breyana Lewis was reportedly shot in the head and local police report that, after answering an emergency call, they found Lewis with bullet fragments in her head. Lewis told officers with Las Vegas police’s Violent Crimes Section that she had been having a sexual relationship with Myrick for two months when the altercation happened.

Gregory Myrick, 21, was taken into custody along with Daquesha Fowler, a 20-year apparently in a love triangle with Myrick, with Fowler allegedly shooting Lewis because she refused to take the pill.

Here’s more on what went down:

Lewis told police that she was having an argument with Myrick, who was angry at her for not taking the morning-after pill and possibly being pregnant. During their exchange, Myrick was texting someone.

Afterward, Lewis drove Myrick to his apartment complex. As soon as he got out of the vehicle, someone shot at her at least twice. Police said Fowler was firing on the car from a second-floor patio in an “ambush style attack,” the report said.

Lewis escaped and drove to another location to call 911. An examination at University Medical Center revealed she had a single gunshot to her upper right forehead. The bullet did not pierce her skull, however, and traveled around the cranium to the top of her head, where it remains.

Police said the injury was not life-threatening, and told the Review Journal on Saturday that Lewis was released later that afternoon.

The article confirms Myrick didn’t shoot Lewis but he reportedly gave Fowler the gun and told her to shoot her.

Because violence is so often perpetrated against pregnant women and their unborn children, many states have adopted laws providing them with justice by charging criminals with two crimes if they kill or injure an unborn baby in such a violent crime. According to the National Right to Life Committee, some 35 states recognize the unlawful killing of an unborn child as homicide in at least some circumstances. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, enacted April 1, 2004, covers unborn victims of federal and military crimes.

Of the 37 states, 29 of them offer justice and protecting for women and unborn children throughout pregnancy while another 8 offer the protection only during the early stages.

Police Officer Shooting Deaths Are Up 56 Percent in 2014 Shooting deaths of members of the U.S. law-enforcement community spiked by 56 percent in 2014 over last year, including more than a dozen ambush attacks against officers, according to new data released Tuesday ? on a week that will be bookended by funerals for slain cops. The rise in police fatalities is marked by a year of nationwide protests after incidents of unarmed black men dying at the hands of white officers. Overall, 126 officers ? at federal, state, local, tribal and territorial levels ? were killed in the line of duty, a 24 percent uptick from 102 deaths last year, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The result? More firearm-related police fatalities in 2014 and many of these fatalities coming in the “15 ambush assaults” carried out during 2014.

According to Fox News, firearm-related deaths for police officers rose “56 percent” in 2014–reaching a total of “50 officers” killed, including those killed in “ambush assaults.” There were “15 ambush assaults” in 2012 as well, but that number had dropped to “5” in 2013.

With the number on the rise once more, Memorial Fund CEO Craig Floyd is asking agitators to “tone down the rhetoric and rally in support of law enforcement.” Just as important, he says we need to rally “against lawlessness.”

Floyd said he is worried the violent and vitriolic-laced reactions to jury decisions in racially charged incidents, are making officers less and less safe. He said such “sentiment in America is influencing weak-minded individuals to launch violent assaults against the men and women working to enforce our laws and keep our nation safe.”

NYPD Investigates Threats to Kill Officers on New Year’s Eve, Sources Say

Police are investigating threats made against officers on New Year's Eve.

NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD is investigating several threats to kill NYPD officers during New Year’s Eve celebrations, DNAinfo New York has learned.

Sources say there are several gang members on social media calling for New Year’s Eve to be “Kill a Pig Night” so that it will become “The New Year’s Eve Massacre 2014.”

The threats primarily come in tweets baring a host of vicious anti-NYPD hash tags including #@deadcopseveryday, #onlydeadcops, #wingsonpigs and #laughatyourdeaths, according to law enforcement sources.

One tweet reads: “Dear Police, Don’t think this can’t happen again” accompanied by a photo of armed Blank Panthers from the 1960s and 1970s, sources say.

Approximately 15 arrests have been made as result of the threats, NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said at a Times Square press conference.

“Any threat against my officer is going to be dealt with very quickly, very effectively,” he said. “We’re not going to let any of them go by the board.”

Police officials say the NYPD is on high alert, particularly in the wake of the Dec. 20 murder of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. Their assassin, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, took to Instagram that morning announcing he was coming to New York to kill police officers. Sources say the NYPD has received 63 threats since the shootings and there have been 16 arrests connected to them. There are presently 23 open investigations into threats against NYPD officers, a source said.

In addition to the deadly threats, various radical organizations are also calling for protests to disrupt the New Year’s Eve celebration, but the NYPD says it is prepared to safeguard the millions of revelers and protesters’ rights to demonstrate.

Black Sheriff Says if Black Lives Mattered They’d Protest at Abortion Clinics

CNN’s Poppy Harlow interviewed Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke about the recent protests that some in the Black Community have sparked after the police related deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Harlow asked the Sheriff, who has been on several news shows on Fox and others, about a tweet he sent out implying that if Black lives mattered the protesters would be outside abortion clinics because of the high numbers of black babies killed by abortion.

The tweet sent by Sheriff Clarke, a black man himself, was sent to Mitch Smith, Journalist in the Chicago bureau of The New York Times and read, “If only these faux protesters were asked by media about all the black on black killing or black babies aborted in US every year.“

Poppy asked the Sheriff if he sent the tweet, “Yes I did,” Sheriff Clark responded.

He continued, “When I hear these things that Black lives matter, the only people who really believe that statement are American police officers who go into American ghettos every day to keep people from killing each other. Alright, so, yes I did say that and I meant it. Look, the abortions? If Black lives – if they really mattered, that’s where the outrage would be that’s where we’d see protests…”

This blog has proven time and again that abortion targets the Black community. Stats released by the CDC again prove that minorities are killed by abortion in disproportionate numbers. In fact, according to the most recent numbers, 36.2% of the total number of abortions recorded for race or ethnicity were reported on Black women.

Mississippi, which currently has only one abortion clinic in the state, had the highest number of abortions reported on Black women coming in at 63.4%.
Alabama, reported that 58.7% of their abortions were on Blacks
In Georgia they reported 52.1% abortions on Black.
Tennessee performed 49.9% of their abortions on Black women
Virginia performed 43.9% on Black women.
Michigan’s Black abortion percentage was 47.9%.
New York City alone performed 46.1% of their abortions on Black women.
41.1% of Black abortions was reported in Missouri.

It is a known fact that a majority of abortions are performed by Planned Parenthood.

Despite their founder’s link to the Klan and the racist eugenics movement, not one protest from the Black Lives Matter movement led by abortion advocates like Rev. Al Sharpton has been organized outside Planned Parenthood. Even when Planned Parenthood left a 24-year-old Black woman bleeding to death in their Chicago clinic, Sharpton said nothing. That woman’s name was Tonya Reaves and the only protests on her behalf were organized by black leaders within the pro-life movement.

So that begs the question, initiated by Sheriff Clark, if Black Lives Matter, and they certainly do, why is it that the one place known for killing off black babies and a black woman is not being protested?

Parents of Disabled Baby Arranged for Their Child’s Death by Starvation

(LiveActionNews) — Charles L. Bosk, a writer and researcher, spent time in a pediatric hospital where doctors and nurses took care of disabled and/or premature babies.

Sometimes, when disabled babies were born (despite the program’s efforts to detect and abort them), the parents didn’t want them. Bosk wrote about a couple that chose not to treat their disabled baby with routine surgery, but instead “allowed” the child to die:

She [the woman who counseled the parents] reported that the parents had decided not only that they did not want to repair the child’s oomphalecele, but they wanted the child to die, and they were willing to do what they could to hurry that event along. The parents had left orders that the child not be fed. She reported that Berger [a doctor] was very upset with this turn of events… Berger claimed that it was one thing for the physicians and the parents to handle this, and quite another for the nurses who had to deal with the infant every day and would be the ones to watch it starve.

The mother was upset when the baby did not “deteriorate” quickly enough:

Bill [another doctor] reported that the mother was discouraged because today the baby looks good. She was hoping that it would die soon, so seeing it looked healthy really discouraged her.

Yes, this happened legally in the United States, and the practice is likely happening in neonatal care units across the country.

Tragically, there is little talk about the babies who are born and slowly starved to death. There is also little mention of children who are refused routine surgery that would have easily saved their lives. To my knowledge, there has been little documentation of these cases and no studies to show how often they occur.

This passage was written back in 1992. How many quiet murders of disabled babies have taken place since then?

LAPD: 2nd suspect who fired at patrol car remains at large

LOS ANGELES (KABC) —

The Los Angeles Police Department ended an eight-hour search in South Los Angeles Monday morning without finding a second suspect who opened fire on a patrol car.

Authorities say two suspects fired at officers with a rifle at 62nd and Hoover streets around 9:20 p.m. Sunday. According to the LAPD, two officers got out of the patrol car, and one of them returned fire on the suspects. It was not immediately known if the suspects were struck. No officers were injured.

One suspect was taken into custody, but a wide perimeter was set up from Gage Avenue to 61st Street, and between Hoover Street and Vermont Avenue, as officers searched for the second suspect. Police say a weapon was recovered at the scene.

The LAPD had issued a citywide tactical alert that kept officers working past the end of their shifts. The department remained on modified tactical alert Monday morning.

The second suspect was only described as a man between the ages of 18 to 25, wearing dark clothing. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, but police called it “a completely unprovoked attack” on the officers. Law enforcement officials are on high alert after two NYPD officers were shot to death in an ambush attack in Brooklyn earlier this month.

“Obviously, with what happened in New York and what we know is a sentiment right now nationwide…when you put on your uniform, you’re very much aware that there are some currents of anger toward police,” said LAPD Det. Meghan Aguilar. “We’re aware that we could be a target for individuals that are angry at law enforcement right now.”

Eric Garner’s daughter posts address of cop present at his death in hopes of assassination

One of Eric Garner’s daughters marked Christmas Day by spreading personal information about an NYPD cop who was present during the chokehold death of her father — outraging officers still reeling from last weekend’s execution-style slayings of two policemen in Brooklyn. Erica Garner tweeted that cop Justin D’Amico was “another officer that helped killed [sic] my dad,” and directed her 5,000-plus Twitter followers to a Web page that lists addresses for D’Amico and five possible relatives. The information was viewed about 500 times before Garner’s stunning tweet was deleted following inquiries by The Post.

The move came less than a week after a gunman fatally shot cops Rafael Ramos andWenjian Liu, following the shooter’s online post that said he planned to avenge the police killings of Eric Garner on Staten Island and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. It also came as cops were on high alert over dozens of copy-cat threats this week that have led to more than a half-dozen arrests. An NYPD source said Erica Garner’s “disgusting” tweet “poses grave danger” to D’Amico.

“She clearly wants someone to go to the officer’s house and assassinate him in cold blood just like Ramos and Liu,” the source said.

The head of the NYPD sergeants union, Ed Mullins, called the tweet “terrible behavior that continues to cause divisive actions throughout the city.”

“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Mullins added.

D’Amico got immunity to testify before the Staten Island grand jury that earlier this month cleared fellow cop Daniel Pantaleo in Eric Garner’s July 17 death while he was being arrested for illegally peddling loose cigarettes. The grand-jury ruling sparked an ongoing wave of anti-cop protests that have been roiling the city, with agitators chanting for the deaths of cops and attacking two NYPD lieutenants on the Brooklyn Bridge.

In her 1:45 a.m. tweet, Erica Garner posted a link to a page on the pastebin.com Web site, which lets users anonymously post plain-text documents for public viewing. She called the information about D’Amico “just something light” and included the hashtag #Doxx, which refers to the online practice of revealing private details about people’s lives.

Garner family lawyer Jonathan Moore, who is preparing a $75 million suit against the city, didn’t deny that Erica Garner posted the tweet, but maintained that she “did not have any knowledge of what was in those links.”

“Nobody in the Garner family, including Erica, would consciously send information out about the personal address or phone number or any identifying information about the police officers, particularly after what happened to those two officers,” Moore said.

2 NYPD Cops Executed as “Revenge”

Authorities say two uniformed NYPD officers were murdered Saturday to avenge the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — as part of an anti-terrorism drill in Bedford-Stuyvesant when they were shot point-blank in the head.

The gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, who had addesses in Georgia and Brooklyn turned the gun on himself on a nearby subway platform as cops closed in.

“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot.

“They Take 1 Of Ours…Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

He used the hashtag #ShootThePolice, along with two other hashtags referencing Garner and Brown.

Brinsley was a fugitive who had just murdered his girlfriend in Baltimore Saturday morning, sources told The Post.

The two officers were pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital, where their colleagues and family members huddled tearfully.

City Council President Melissa Mark-Viverito and Mayor Bill de Blasio were less than welcome guests at the poignant gathering.

Just last week cops began signing a “Don’t Insult My Sacrifice” waiver, distributed by the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, that warned the mayor and speaker to stay away from funerals of cops killed in the line of duty.

Brinsley has a criminal record dating back to at least 2006, when he was arrested in Georgia for carrying a concealed weapon, a knife, as well as shoplifting, according to online records.

The next year he was nabbed in Dekalb County., Ga., for criminal trespass, and by 2009, he was indicted in Ohio for robbery — a charge that was later apparently dismissed.

In 2011, the shooter was arrested again in Georgia for reckless conduct, tampering with evidence, criminal property damage, and discharging his weapon. The outcome of the case is unknown.

Christian bakers have repeatedly been under attack from homosexuals and non-gay progressives for refusing to make wedding cakes for gay couples getting “married.”

Rather than expressing their displeasure by taking their money to another bakery, they file lawsuits geared toward completely destroying these folks’ livelihood. It’s pretty despicable.

One would think that since so many homosexuals claim they were discriminated against by Christians for not providing their services to them, a bakery owned by someone who is gay would have no problem baking a cake for a Christian straight couple, right? After all, they are the perfect examples of “tolerance” and “acceptance,” right?

WRONG.

Wait. What happened to all the talk of equality and tolerance? How dare these bigots refuse to serve a couple based on their religious beliefs! How rude!

Unlike the foul liberals who decided to sue Christian bakers and put them out of business for not violating their religious principles, Shoebat isn’t going to file a lawsuit against these hypocrites for not wanting to serve him.

Businesses have the right to choose who they serve and who they don’t. Those who don’t get served have the right to take their money elsewhere and urge their friends and family to boycott the business too.

Eventually, if enough customers are unhappy with the incident, they would stop shopping there and the baker would either switch up his stance or go out of business.

The free market would take care of all the “equality” issues. No need for the government to get involved.

Unfortunately, that’s not good enough for liberals, as that doesn’t provide them with a platform to expand the federal government further into the private lives of citizens.

Perhaps one day these hypocrites will wake up and see how silly they look and stop trying to force the world to believe what they believe. In other words, maybe they’ll actually start practicing tolerance instead of blabbing about the lack thereof.

My name was Antonio West. I was the 13-month old child who was shot in the face at point blank range by two black teens, who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot.

I think my murder and my mommy’s wounding made the news for maybe a day, and then disappeared.

A Grand Jury of my mommy’s peers from Brunswick , Georgia ruled the black teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty… too bad it was me who got the death sentence from my killers instead, because Mommy didn’t have the money they demanded.

See, my family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder wasn’t ruled a ‘hate crime’.

Oh, and President Obama didn’t take a single moment to acknowledge my murder. He couldn’t have any children who could possibly look like me – so why should he care?

I’m one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation’s history, but the media didn’t care to cover the story of my being killed in cold blood. There isn’t a white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be branded a ‘racist’. So no one’s rushing to Brunswick , Georgia to demonstrate and demand ‘justice’ for me. There’s no ‘White Panther’ party, either, to put a bounty on the lives of the two black teens who murdered me.

Just last week, a beloved special needs teacher and her high school junior daughter from Charlettesville Virginia were beaten before they were burned in a house fire. 15 year old Michael from Miami had burns over 60% of his body after 3 black classmates poured alcohol on him and set him on fire in a racist hate crime. All 3 are serving time in prison.

Colorado Springs Firefighters found Kit’s body burning on a trail after a nearby resident called to report the fire. Officers arrested a black 21-year-old, Marcus Smith and charged him with 1st degree murder. Kit was a deacon at her church and loved by the community.

In Houston, Mona Nelson, a black 44 year old woman abducted and killed 12 year old Jonathan with a blow torch on Christmas Eve, later dumping his body in a ditch. She was found guilty of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison. The story was getting mainstream media coverage until they arrested a black woman.

Kenneth Athey

Beaten with a hammer, stabbed, doused with chemicals and set on fire, 87 year old Kenneth survived to testify against his black male attacker.

Luke Fleischman

The 18 year old was set on fire while sleeping on a bus in San Francisco by Richard Thomas, black teenager who was prosecuted as an adult and sentenced to 7 years for the hate crime.

Richard Michael Carter

Two black brothers were arrested for shooting and burning Richard, a father from South Carolina.

The 67 year old homeless woman from California was set on fire by a black man as she simply slept on a bench.

Nancy Harris

The 76 year old Grandmother was killed when a black man set fire to her while she was working at a convenience mart. She was loved in her Texas hometown and known as Grandma to everyone.

A black woman and 2 black men beat and burned Melinda in a horrific race hate crime.

Jimmy Sanders

Shot and burned after stopping to help 2 black men, Erik Ellis, 28, and Malcolm Melton, 22, with car trouble. “He didn’t answer his phone. I called about eight or nine times. About an hour after he wouldn’t answer I got really really nervous and upset,” Betty Sanders said. Jimmy was 65 and also from Mississippi, where Jessica Chambers was just burned.

Raymond Vasholz

Raymond died after his black neighbor, Terrance Hale, attacked him and his wife and set fires. Elizabeth and Raymond were married 58 years.

Moments before Officer Darren Wilson took Michael Brown’s Life, He was Saving One

In a story that isn’t getting national media coverage, it’s now being reveled that minutes before Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson that he was engaged in helping to save the life of a two-year-old child, who just may have been black.

According to Opposing Views:

The report goes on to describe how Wilson responded to a call at Ferguson’s Northwinds Apartment Complex for an “emergency involving a 2-year-old child who had trouble breathing.” While attending to the sick child and the mother, Wilson reportedly got a call about the convenience store incident, but instead of responding himself, he reportedly stood with the family until health care workers arrived at the scene. It was only after they arrived that he responded to the theft call and, eventually, ran into Brown in the middle of the street.

In the report, Whiteman claims that the sick baby was “most likely” black because of a past report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that talks about the demographic of people living at the apartment complex in question.

“However, the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch reported on Oct. 18, 2014 that the very same Northwinds Apartment complex as one of many federally designated Section 8 Housing projects that the Post-Dispatch described as an ‘amalgam of crime, mismanagement and African-American poverty,'” reported Whiteman. “Furthermore, the Post-Dispatch made note that of the slew of low income projects (to include Northwinds) in St. Louis County, the overwhelming number of residents are black. According to the newspaper, ’99 percent [are] African-American.’ The remaining 1 percent is divided between whites, Latinos, American Indians, Pacific Islanders, East Asians and those of mixed races.”

The reported concluded that while there was no concrete evidence the child was black, all the demographic evidence points to that assumption.

However, the larger issue is that Officer Wilson was not one that seemed to take life lightly, but rather showed compassion for his fellow man and the citizens he served in Ferguson.

The fact that he waited with the family and child till medical help arrived and didn’t just jump in his car and head out looking for the so-called “gentle giant” speaks volumes too. He definitely put the life of the child ahead of a convenience store robbery. In other words, acts like this fly in the face of the claims of the Brown family and others that Wilson was a cold-blooded murderer.

However, one wonders about the mindset of many of Wilson’s critics. After announcing on ABC’s Good Morning America that he and his wife are expecting a baby, several liberals tweeted out these kinds of comments:

My money is on those who have already engaged in verbal assaults and the destruction of private property. What about you?

So I keep her ultrasound images, along with a Hallmark “It’s a Girl!” card that my best friend sent, along with a Christmas tree ornament engraved with Annie’s due date, which my parents gave me the week I found out I was pregnant, locked away in a closet far from my son’s bedroom. There in the confessional, heaving with sobs once more, I truly expected to be struck by lightning. I now sat there acknowledging that I was guilty of the worst sin possible, murder. My dear Priest smiled and handed me a box of tissues and said, ‘God is so happy you are here. You will be forgiven, but you need healing.’ He then proceeded to tell me about Rachel’s Vineyard, a ministry aimed towards healing from abortion.”

These are just eight of the women who are speaking out about the aftermath of their abortions. Lifetimes of pain and regret. Lifetimes spent yearning for a child they will never get to hold. Due dates come and go and always bring about another year of remorse. Abortion isn’t something someone does one day. It lasts a lifetime.

People Are Supporting Darren Wilson In An Incredible Way That Will Drive Race Baiters Crazy

Online crowdfunding is proving to be both a comfort and a source of substantial funds for Darren Wilson.

After resigning from the Ferguson, Missouri, police force without severance pay, Wilson apparently has no job prospects; and he still faces all sorts of daunting challenges — both legal and safety-related — despite not being indicted by the grand jury in the August death of Michael Brown.

But Darren Wilson and his new wife will reportedly be receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from online donation efforts organized by an anonymous supporter. In fact, according to a post on dailymail.co.uk, the amount of money pouring in from crowdfunding could soon exceed $1 million.

The woman who founded the movement to support Darren Wilson has spoken out and revealed that the Ferguson police officer could have a $1 million war chest.

The supporter said that she knew of at least $500,000 from two donation funds set up in his name but that was a ‘conservative estimate’ – and the total could be seven figures.

Shortly after then-officer Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown in a confrontation on a residential Ferguson street, other crowdfunding sites were launched that reportedly raised a good deal of money for Wilson before the sites were shut down as violent protests over the killing intensified.

It’s likely that Darren Wilson will need whatever money can be raised on his behalf for more than everyday living expenses. Not only is Eric Holder’s Justice Department continuing its investigation into whether civil rights charges will be filed against the former Ferguson cop, but the parents of Michael Brown have indicated they may sue Wilson in civil court.

The effort to secure online donations for Darren Wilson is not the only crowdfunding initiative related to the Ferguson shooting and the resulting unrest, which included well documented vandalism, looting, and arson.

A downtown Ferguson bakery, Natalie’s Cakes and More, which was badly damaged during the rioting, has reportedly received over a quarter-of-a-million dollars in donations from hundreds of supporters.

Plus, there’s an online effort to raise money for an independent film about Ferguson and race relations in America. With a crowdfunding site set up at indiegogo.com, the project is billed as a “response to the growing problem of racial disparity due to the ongoing dehumanization of black men.”

Currently, the effort to crowdfund “American Race” has not been nearly as successful as either the Darren Wilson donation initiative or the bakery project. Supporters wanting to see the film made have pledged only about $6500 — a quarter of its $25,000 goal.

In a disgusting video that depicts protesters parroting the fictitious “hands up- don’t shoot” narrative coined after Michael Brown was shot in Ferguson, a swarm of protesters crashed a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at a Seattle mall and in doing so, traumatized a children’s choir who had come to sing.

The video depicts useful idiots pushing the “cops are racist” rhetoric and chanting throughout the Westlake Center in Seattle, Washington, to demonstrate their solidarity with the rioters in Ferguson who have looted and committed arson in the quest for supposed social justice.

Many leftist supporting the false narrative surrounding Michael Brown’s death called for a boycott of Black Friday and this group crashed the mall where a youth choir filled with children between 7 and 10 years of age were singing.

The boys and girls were terrified and some clung to chaperones and/or cried at the sight of the forceful crowd.

Seattle journalist Mark Wright noted on his Facebook page:

“Some of you may know that tonight’s tree lighting at Westlake Center was cut short by protesters. I feel really bad for a group of children from the 5th Avenue Theater. They came tonight, excited to sing. When the protesters overtook the balcony, the children were absolutely terrified. I helped usher them to the far end of the balcony where they would be safe. They huddled with their chaperones and each other, some of them crying, until police got the protesters out of there. As a journalist, I’m absolutely in favor of the right to free speech. This was not free speech tonight. The protesters appear to simply want to disrupt, and in doing so, traumatized some beautiful young kids.”

Even obnoxious speech should be protected; however, there seems to be a crusade by the left that hinges no on provoking a conversation about perceived social inequalities, but that instead hinges on making noise for attention without any real substance behind the rhetoric.

What does crashing a Christmas Tree lighting have to do with racism in America?

Answer: not a damn thing.

A group of black Ferguson residents armed with high-powered rifles stood outside a white-owned business in the city during recent riots, protecting it from rioters that looted and burned other businesses.

After a grand jury returned no indictment against Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed unarmed black teen Michael Brown, protesters took to the streets and the demonstrations quickly turned into rioting. Several buildings were set ablaze, but a group of heavily armed black men stood outside a Conoco gas station.

One of the residents, a 6-foot-8 man named Derrick Johnson, held an AR-15 assault rifle as he stood in a pickup truck near that store’s entrance. Three other black Ferguson residents joined Johnson in front of the store, each of them armed with pistols.

In a city torn apart by racial tensions, the fact that black residents took up arms to defend a white-owned store made headlines.

The men said they felt indebted to the store’s owner, Doug Merello, who employed them over the course of several years. The men said Merello always treated them with respect.

“He’s a nice dude, he’s helped us a lot,” said a man identified himself as R.J. The 29-year-old R.J. said the group chased away several groups of teenagers who wanted to loot the store, but also nearly got into a brush with soldiers from the Missouri National Guard, who initially mistook them for looters.

The gas station’s owner said the men definitely saved his store.

“We would have been burned to the ground many times over if it weren’t for them,” said Merello, whose father first bought the store in 1984.

While the black Ferguson residents defended the white-owned store, dozens of other businesses were not as lucky. Officials said more than a dozen businesses received “significant” damage as groups of rioters threw bricks, broke windows, and set fires.

Natalie Dubose of Ferguson, Missouri, is a small business owner who was proud to have opened her local cake bakery just over a year ago, but rioters from her own neighborhood destroyed her hard-earned shop this week. Now, thousands of Americans across the country have generously donated over $200,000 to help her rebuild.

Celebrities like actress Patricia Heaton and reality show star Brandi Glanville helped bring awareness to Dubose’s plight, but thousands of regular Americans all across the nation donated Dubose on a website set up to help her reopen her shop, Natalie’s Cakes and More.

“Thank you to actresses Patricia Heaton and Brandi Glanville for supporting me!” Dubose wrote. “I must have missed thousands of other tweets, and I’m so sorry I can’t mention them all. The sweet lady who offered money from her social security check brought me to tears. … Thank you to EVERYONE for the kind words, prayers, and emotional support.”

Thus far, Natalie’s GoFundMe fundraising page has raised nearly $230,000 to help the young woman re-open her shop, far more than she’ll need to do the job.

Dubose has said she is totally floored by the outpouring of support she has received on the fundraising page, as well as on social media. “I would thank everyone for their warm wishes, empathy, and support during this crazy difficult time,” she wrote.

The donor account reached almost $100,000 in the first 20 hours it was posted.

Protesters in Ferguson have been threatening to rape the wives of front line police and kill their children during the latest clashes, the wife of one officer has claimed.

The unnamed woman said that her husband has been ‘screamed at’ as he faced off with the angry crowds amid heightened tensions in the suburb of St Louis, Missouri.

She told Fox 2 News that they threatened a home invasion in an apparent attempt to provoke the officers.

The wife claimed the protesters said: ‘We’re going to go to your house. ‘We`re going to rape your wives then we`re going to kill them and we`re going to kill your children’.

The allegations comes after many police officers’ families in Ferguson, Missouri, were reported to be in hiding or running from town amid death and assault threats.

One police wife told KTVI that she’s received threats over the phone and she’s been paranoid for her and her young daughter’s safety ever since.

‘Did they follow me here?’ she told the station. ‘Did I do a good enough job after work today of taking different routes, on my way home?’

The website promoting the book says, “The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible…We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded.”

What they have succeeded in doing is misrepresenting the word of God.

Here’s some examples of what they terribly did:

1. Leviticus 18:22

KJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.

Police say 29 people were shot, 9 of them killed over this weekend, adding to the record-breaking violence.

The shooting didn’t stop on Monday night after a 9-year-old boy and another man were both injured by gun fire in the 2900 block of Arunah Avenue. Police say the child was shot in the leg and another man suffered a graze wound to the head.

Twelve people were killed and at least 43 — including a 4-year-old girl — were wounded in shootings across Chicago this Memorial Day weekend, police said.

Urban unrest expert Dr. Max Herman says that the United States is on the “cusp” of a wave of domestic disorder and that the country will see more race riots.

Herman, Assistant Professor of Sociology at New Jersey City University, told the New Republic’s Joel Gillin that the economic downturn, in addition to incidents of police brutality, have provided fertile conditions for civil unrest.

He sees the re-emergence of a 60’s-style “protest ideology” amongst black communities which will lead to more disorder.

“It’s very clear from studying history that these things tend to run in cycles,” said Herman, adding, “I think we are at the cusp of another cycle.”

Recent busts of murderous MS-13 gangsters put the lie to President Obama’s sympathetic amnesty narrative of illegal immigrants as “workers who mow our lawns, make our beds (and) clean out bedpans.”

Charlotte police discovered the rat’s nest of foreign gangsters after some of them started shooting up local nightclubs and bars.
