Who says Barack Obama has no accomplishments. According to Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah on Friday he doesn’t worry about U.S. sanctions against Lebanese banks who deal with his terrorist groups, they get all their money, weapons, etc., from the U.S. President’s buddies in the terrorist regime of Iran. And thanks to the nuclear deal Obama and his secretaries of state Clinton and Kerry shoved down the throats of Americans, Iran’s had a fresh influx of at least $100 billion dollars to share with groups like Hezbollah.
In a speech broadcast by the Shiite party’s Al-Manar station, Nasrallah brushed off assertions that Hezbollah would be hurt by US sanctions on Lebanese financial institutions that work with the group.
“We do not have any business projects or investments via banks,” Nasrallah said, insisting the group “will not be affected.”
“We are open about the fact that Hezbollah’s budget, its income, its expenses, everything it eats and drinks, its weapons and rockets, are from the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added.
In December, the US Congress voted to impose sanctions on banks that deal with Hezbollah, considered a “terrorist group” by the US. And last month, Lebanon’s central bank instructed the country’s banks and financial institutions to comply with the new measure against the Lebanese Shiite group.
“We totally reject this [U.S.] law until the Day of Judgment. … Even if the law is applied, we as a party and an organizational and jihadi movement, will not be hurt or affected,”
Nasrallah said: “As long as Iran has money, we have money… Just as we receive the rockets that we use to threaten Israel, we are receiving our money. No law will prevent us from receiving it…”
As Al Arabia pointed out, the Nasrallah speech is a major embarrassment to the Obama Administration, since it appears that by approving the thawing of Iranian funds in return for a dubious nuclear agreement the US is now “playing a critical role in assisting and facilitating the ways through which Hezbollah receives this significant aid from the Iranian government.”
Two of the major beneficiaries of the [Iranian] sanctions relief have been Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iran has also been able to increase its military budget by $1.5 billion from $15.6 billion to $17.1 billion.
Although it’s something most observers already knew, this is the first time ever that Nasrallah publicly confirmed his group is receiving full monetary and arms support from the Iranian government. And thanks to the negotiating weakness of the Obama/Clinton administration, Iran has much more money to turn into terrorist attacks throughout the world, but especially Israel. But then again Jewish lives are never a concern of the Democratic Party and Barack Obama.
On his June 16th radio show, Mark Levin said, “I made a suggestion to the gay community. I said you better exercise your second amendment rights while you still can. What did I mean by that,” asked Levin. “What I meant was that you need to acquire weapons to defend yourselves, because you’re being targeted by the Islamo-nazis.”
That’s a good piece of advice, as Levin is known to give. However, his advice runs up against the perceived reality of a lot of today’s youth. This reality is that for today’s youth, from 20-somethings (maybe older), all the way down to elementary school children, the fight instinct has been beaten out of them (figuratively speaking) with the bat of political correctness – leaving only the flight instinct.
Along the same vein as Levin’s advice, I wrote a piece the other day calling for more Americans, particularly millennials, to fight back, become sheepdogs and stop acting like sheep, so when the wolves come calling, as one did in Orlando, you can and will stand up and protect the innocent.
Sadly, far too many young men and women (and other) have been conditioned to hide or flee, rather than fight. Obviously the parents bear some of the blame, but our education system, such that it is, also bears a great deal.
Children are no longer taught about real threats – the kind that can and will “break your bones” and much worse. Instead, they are being brainwashed by leftist educators and advisors to fear words more than actions.
One shining example of this bass-ackwards thinking is on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado. Last year Katrina Rodriguez, Dean of Students and the Title IX Coordinator (the most harmful thing to hit college campuses since the introduction of co-ed dorms), ordered 680 signs to be hung in various places across campus.
One off the wall, politically correct poster after another was hung proclaiming things like: “Language matters because, whether it is intentional or not, the impact of words can reinforce oppression and feelings of discomfort, fear and shame.”
Rodriguez told HeatStreet.com that, “The intent is to educate to foster civility—not to take punitive action,” and “We believe that fostering dialogue on a college campus so that multiple perspectives are explored and debated is the essence of free speech.”
Leftists are all about the precious “dialogue.” This way they can talk and talk, while achieving absolutely nothing. That’s not exactly accurate. They do achieve something quite important – the termination of “free speech.”
Another such poster is a rebuttal of the slogan, “All Lives Matter.” The poster reads” You are dismissing the Black Lives Matter [BLM] movement and the brutality impacting the Black community.”
You want brutality, coddled young black men?! Try being black in Africa, mercilessly slaughtered by Muslims just because you dare to exist! And look at the picture of the 49 killed in Orlando. Look – there’s a black guy – and a black girl – and another and another. Looks to me to be 12 out of the 49.
So pitiful have things gotten on the Northern Colorado campus that they’ve formed and implemented a rapid “Bias Response Team” (BRT). In March there was an incident on campus and the BRT was called into action.
It seems the BLM poster had been defaced. Across the poster was scrolled “All Lives Do Matter,” and “Free Speech Matters.” The BRT quickly removed and replaced it with another poster that read: “This was the site of a bias related behavior.”
If you are shaking your head in disbelief and disgust, join the club, but this is emblematic of the fragile nature of America’s youth.
If young skulls full of mush (attribution – Rush) are taught that there is nothing more evil than an offensive word or silly slogan, how will America’s youth ever be expected to fight back against actual evil – the kind that may say little or nothing while they actual brutalize and kill you?
The media have lost their minds after Trump’s magnificent speech on Monday. It’s all hands on deck, no attack is too extreme. Their main point is: DO NOT LOOK AT THAT SPEECH. It has “words that wound.” Much too dangerous even to read it.
Instead of reporting what Trump said, the media give us the “gist” of it (in the sense of an unrecognizable distortion). It was awful, Hitlerian, beneath our dignity as a nation. They lie about what he said and then attack their own lies as if they’re attacking Trump.
The Washington Post’s headline, which got their reporters banned from Trump’s press briefings, was: “Donald Trump Seems to Connect President Obama to the Orlando Shooting.”
I guess OK, You’re Right, didn’t sound professional, so the Post pretended not to understand Trump’s speech, at all. We can’t makes heads or tails of it, but he seems to be saying …
One thing Trump is not, is unclear.
Contrary to the Post’s headline suggesting that Trump had posited some crazy theory about Obama secretly meeting with Omar Mateen to plot the attack — No, this gun is much better for a mass shooting, Omar — Trump criticized the Obama administration policies that are not keeping us safe. (It’s completely unprecedented to respond to a mass murder by criticizing the policies that allowed it to happen!)
After San Bernardino and Orlando — also, the Boston Marathon, Fort Hood, Little Rock, Chattanooga and Times Square — quite obviously, Trump is right.

In his speech, Trump said:
“The killer was an Afghan, of Afghan parents, who immigrated to the United States. His father published support for the Afghan Taliban, a regime which murders those who don’t share its radical views. The father even said he was running for president of that country.
“The bottom line is that the only reason the killer was in America in the first place was because we allowed his family to come here.
“That is a fact, and it’s a fact we need to talk about.
“We have a dysfunctional immigration system which does not permit us to know who we let into our country, and it does not permit us to protect our citizens.”
Immediately after Trump’s speech, MSNBC’s Katie Tur “fact-checked” Trump, announcing that he had incorrectly said Omar was “born in Afghan.”
What did Tur think this meant? “Afghan” isn’t a country. Didn’t she pause for a moment and realize that what she thought he said makes no sense? Journalists with their outsized sense of importance say, No, no, that’s not what I heard. It says in my notes right here, you said, “blue carrots for Eisenhower.” I stand by my notes.
Obviously, what Trump said was that Omar was “born an Afghan.”Which he was.
The media began indignantly informing us that Trump was wrong because — as The Washington Post put it: “The shooter was born in Queens to parents who emigrated from Afghanistan.”
With the media, you’re an “American” when you commit the worst mass shooing in U.S. history, an “Afghan” when you’re applying to college. You’re an “American” when you shoot up the San Bernardino community center, a “Pakistani” when you’re offended by Trump’s remarks. You’re an “American” when you slaughter troops at Fort Hood, a “Muslim” when the Army realizes it can’t fire you.
This can lead to confusion. After the Post snippily corrected Trump on Omar not being an “Afghan” on Monday, on Tuesday, the Post admitted he was. Headline: “Orlando gunman said he carried out attack to get ‘Americans to stop bombing his country,’witness says.”
The Atlantic’s Ron Fournier, Dispenser of Conventional Liberal Opinion, wrote an article on Trump’s speech titled “A Victory Lap in Blood” that would make any social justice warrior proud.
Like the rest of the media’s reviews of a speech they apparently didn’t read, there were no quotes from Trump’s speech. Instead, Fournier ran through a string of accusations, SJW-style: “You didn’t call it,” “You are helping ISIS recruit terrorists,” “You are dividing Americans …”
Trump never claimed he “called it,” but, if he ever does, Fournier has a fantastic takedown:
“You didn’t warn that an American man named Omar Mateen, a well-educated security guard investigated by the FBI for suspected ties to terrorism, would legally purchase a weapon made for warfare and use it to slaughter 49 people at a popular gay nightclub.”
Hillary Clinton is presidential because she wants to dramatically increase the number of unvetted Syrian refugees we bring in. But Trump is an embarrassment because he doesn’t have superhuman powers to know that a “man named Omar Mateen” would attack an Orlando nightclub.
Fournier repeated the fake fact currently sweeping the nation about Trump thinking he deserves congratulations, writing, “Donald Trump wants a pat on the back.”
But then Fournier made the fatal mistake of quoting Trump’s tweet allegedly saying this: “Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!”
Fournier’s “Trump wants a pat on the back” was 12 words away from Trump saying, “I don’t want congrats.”Even the most bored reader is probably going to make it that far.
Now you see why reporters aren’t quoting Trump and have to hope you won’t read the speech for yourself.
CAIR has released a statement about the Orlando attack during a press conference — do you believe that their message is genuine and true?
American Muslim leaders are condemning the attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando that killed 49 people and wounded more than 50 others.
Nihad Awad, the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, called the killings a hate crime and said the group has no tolerance for extremism of any kind.
A law enforcement official has said the gunman, Omar Mateen, called 911 from the nightclub and expressed allegiance to an Islamic State leader.
The suspect’s father, Mir Seddique, told NBC News that his son got upset when he saw two men kissing and that the attack ‘had nothing to do with religion.’
A former Afghan official says the father of the Orlando nightclub gunman is a native of Afghanistan who appears on a television program known for ‘its anti-US tirades’ and ‘pro-Taliban’ remarks.
Awad says members of the LGBT community have stood with Muslims in the past and today they stand that community.
‘We are sickened and heartbroken by this appalling attack. Our hearts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims. There can never be any justification for such cowardly and criminal acts, period,’ Awad said in a statement.
What do you do when terrorists turn from attacking well-protected government buildings and transportation centers in favor of anyplace that people may congregate? Specifically, how do you address bloody scenarios like the assault on the Westgate mall in Nairobi, Kenya by the Islamist group al-Shabaab, which killed at least 61 civilians? Well, the Secretary General of Interpol, the international police-coordination organization, says you either start providing “extraordinary security” perimeters around anything that might be a target, or else let people carry the means to defend themselves. Surprisingly, he seems to lean toward empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own defense.
“Societies have to think about how they’re going to approach the problem,”Noble said. “One is to say we want an armed citizenry; you can see the reason for that. Another is to say the enclaves are so secure that in order to get into the soft target you’re going to have to pass through extraordinary security.”
“Enclaves”translates as “any place people gather,”which could be a mall, a theater, a supermarket, a town square… That’s an awful lot of secure perimeters to set up. No doubt, plenty of police unions and politically well-connected private security companies would love to see that effort made, but are you really going to throw a cordon up every time a few people gather to chat about the weather or have a barbecue? Unusually for a government official (he was the Undersecretary for Enforcement of the United States Department of the Treasury, in charge of the Secret Service as well as the ATF), Noble obviously sees that as a bit of a daunting challenge. He adds:
“Ask yourself: If that was Denver, Col., if that was Texas, would those guys have been able to spend hours, days, shooting people randomly?” Noble said, referring to states with pro-gun traditions. “What I’m saying is it makes police around the world question their views on gun control. It makes citizens question their views on gun control. You have to ask yourself, ‘Is an armed citizenry more necessary now than it was in the past with an evolving threat of terrorism?’ This is something that has to be discussed.”
“For me it’s a profound question,”he continued. “People are quick to say ‘gun control, people shouldn’t be armed,’ etc., etc. I think they have to ask themselves: ‘Where would you have wanted to be? In a city where there was gun control and no citizens armed if you’re in a Westgate mall, or in a place like Denver or Texas?'”
InterpolI’d answer that allowing people to proactively respond to threats has always been a better idea that trying to anticipate what assailants might consider to be an easy target. You can’t fortify every gathering on the planet, and each security perimeter will still have potential victims within it for the enterprising terrorist who can penetrate “extraordinary security.”
The Secretary General, by the way, also called for tighter passport controls, so his comments weren’t a totally unmixed bag for those of us favoring personal liberty and autonomy. Travel has become an increasingly bureaucratic ordeal over the past century, and that doesn’t look likely to let up soon.
Noble (pictured at right) was first appointed to oversee Interpol’s day-to-day work in 2000, and his third five-year term is up in 2015. After voicing even measured support for armed citizens in a world where governments have never much liked the idea, let’s see if he makes it to through the full gig.
“Recent reports state that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has apprehended several members of known Islamist terrorist organizations crossing the southern border in recent years.” — Congressman Ron DeSantis (FL) – R in a March 23rd, 2016 House Oversight Committee, National Security Subcommittee hearing.
On April 4, 2016, DeSantis attended the first of several town hall events scheduled in Florida called, “Defeat the Jihad Tour.” The hearing and tours follow the wake of news reports detailing the lack of border security and ongoing terrorism threats, especially on the Texas/Mexico border.
According to The Houston Chronicle, the Texas Department of Public Safety stated it has shifted law enforcement resources to better protect the border, but this shift enabled crime to increase in other parts of the state. The Washington Post published a story shortly thereafter, stating that authorities had detained several people with ties to Islamist terrorist organizations. (Apparently, information was obtained from a report leaked to theChronicle about which the public was not supposed to learn.)
The report lists 439 cases of “special interest aliens” who illegally crossed or attempted to cross the Mexican/US border into Texas and are associated with Islamic terrorist groups. They came from 35 Middle Eastern, African, and Asian countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, and Syria. They each were associated with Islamic terrorist groups.
According to the leaked report, authorities listed 143 “land border crossing encounters with watch-listed individuals in southwest border states between November 2013 and July 2014.”
One encounter, for example, was with an alleged member of al-Shabaab, the Islamic Somalia-based group responsible for the 2013 mall massacre in Nairobi, Kenya. Another related to the apprehension of another Somali named Ahmed Muhammed Dhakane, who was tied to terrorist groups al-Shabaab, al-Itihaad al-Islamiya, and al-Barakat. Dhakane not only crossed into Texas, but also helped move an unknown number of suspected Somali terrorists. Still another, was with three Sri Lankans, one of whom claimed that he was a member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam “on his way to Canada.”
This report is only one of several.
To a name a few:
A 2006 report compiled by the House Committee on Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Investigations highlighted crime and violence along the Texas/Mexico border. It states that “each year, hundreds of illegal aliens from countries known to harbor terrorists or promote terrorism” are found crossing or attempting to cross the border along the Rio Grande Valley. In fact, members of Hezbollah “have already entered the United States” crossing this border prior to 2005.
An updated 2012 report from the same committee indicated that 1,918 “special interest aliens” were apprehended at the border between 2006 and 2011.
And a 2009 Government Accountability Office report revealed that Border Patrol apprehended three people with “links to terrorism” at southwest border checkpoints the previous year.
Despite this, and much more evidence, Obama has consistently claimed the border is more secure because of him. In 2014, he said, “Overall, the number of people trying to cross our border illegally is the lowest it has been since the 1970s.”
Politifact found Obama’s claim to be “half-true” because the 1970 border and the 2014 border are incomparable. The economic and security conditions were entirely different in 1970 than 2014. And, it states that “it’s problematic for Obama to assume credit for the low numbers, as the trend started before he took office.”
But that has been his modus operandi since he took the White House– to take credit for successes for which he has little-to-no involvement and to blame others for consequences he created. Yet, the low numbers he cites don’t actually match with the data, or the experience of the American people, whose tax dollars continue to escalate to pay for these illegals.

At Senate Commerce Committee session, lawmakers heard that only three airports in the United States require their employees to undergo a security check before they begin their work day.
“Atlanta, Miami, Orlando. What about the other 297 airports nationwide?”asked committee co-chair Senator Bill Nelson (D-Florida).
TSA (Transportation Security Administration) head Robert Neffenger answered that while the TSA has “increased the inspection of employees five-fold in the last five months,”more needs to be done.
Neffenger said that all airports were asked to provide a report by the end of the month assessing their vulnerabilies.
A 2015 TSA committee concluded most airports could not afforddaily employee screening. In addition, they said the full screening would not “appreciably increase the overall system-wide protection.”
“No single measure can provide broad-spectrum protection against risks or adversaries,”the committee concluded. “Therefore, risk-based, multi-layered security offers the greatest ability to mitigate risks through the application of flexible and unpredictable measures to protect commercial aviation.”
The report argued daily screening “is incapable of determining a person’s motivations, attitudes and capabilities to cause harm, among other limitations.”
The Senate committee also heard from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, who assured the Senators recent reports that 73 airport employees were suspected to have terrorist ties were misleading.
“It’s not that they’re suspected terrorists. It’s that they hadn’t been vetted through all available databases,”Johnson said. “We have since corrected that problem and the cases have been resolved.”
After filing a Freedom of Information Act request, CBS’ Washington bureau learned last month at which airports improperly-vetted staff worked. The airports included Sea-Tac Airport in Seattle, Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta, Logan Airport in Boston and Orlando International, Orlando-Sanford and Memphis International.
If you’re keeping score, freeing Islamic terrorists from Gitmo does not play into the hands of ISIS. Neither does bringing Syrians, many of whom sympathize with Islamic terrorists, into our country. And aiding the Muslim Brotherhood parent organization of ISIS does not play into the Islamic group’s hands.
However if you use the words “Islamic terrorism” or even milder derivatives such as “radical Islamic terrorism,” you are playing into the hands of ISIS. If you call for closer law enforcement scrutiny of Muslim areas before they turn into Molenbeek style no-go zones or suggest ending the stream of new immigrant recruits to ISIS in San Bernardino, Paris, or Brussels, you are also playing into the hands of ISIS.
And if you carpet bomb ISIS, destroy its headquarters and training camps, you’re just playing into its hands. According to Obama and his experts, who have wrecked the Middle East, what ISIS fears most is that we’ll ignore it and let it go about its business. And what it wants most is for us to utterly destroy it. Or as Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau said, “If you kill your enemies, they win.” But maybe if you surrender to them, then you win.
Tens of thousands of Muslim refugees make us safer. But using the words “Muslim terrorism”endangers us. The more Muslims we bring to America, the faster we’ll beat ISIS. As long as we don’t call it the Islamic State or ISIS or ISIL, but follow Secretary of State John Kerry’s lead in calling it Daesh. Because terrorism has no religion. Even when it’s shouting, “Allah Akbar.”
Obama initially tried to defeat ISIS by ignoring it.This cunning approach allowed ISIS to seize large chunks of Iraq and Syria. He tried calling ISIS a J.V. team in line with his claim that, “We defeat them in part by saying you are not strong, you are weak.”Unimpressed, ISIS seized Mosul. It was still attached to the old-fashioned way of proving it was strong by actually winning land and wars.
Europe and the United States decided to prove that we were not at war with Islam by taking in as many Muslims as we could. Instead of leading to less terrorism, taking in more Muslims led to more terrorism.
Every single counterintuitive strategy for defeating Islamic terrorism has been tried. And it has failed. Overthrowing “dictators” turned entire countries into terrorist training camps. Bringing Islamists to power in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia led directly to attacks on American diplomatic facilities. The Muslim Brotherhood showed no gratitude to its State Department allies. Instead its militias and forces either aided the attackers or stood by and watched while taking bets on the outcome.
Islamic terrorism has followed an intuitive pattern of cause and effect. There’s a reason that the counterintuitive strategies for fighting Islamic terrorism by not fighting Islamic terrorism don’t work. They make no sense. Instead they all depend on convincing Muslims, from the local Imam to Jihadist organizations, to aid us instead of attack us by showing what nice people we are. Meanwhile they also insist that we can’t use the words “Islamic terrorism” because Muslims are ticking time bombs who will join Al Qaeda and ISIS the moment we associate terrorism with the I-word. There are contradictions there that you can drive a tank through.
The counterintuitive strategy assumes that Islamic terrorism will only exist if we use the I-word, that totalitarian Jihadist movements want democracy and that our best allies for fighting Islamic terrorism are people from the same places where Islamic terrorism is a runaway success. And that we should duplicate the demographics of the countries where Islamic terrorism thrives in order to defeat it.
The West’s counterterrorism strategy makes less sense than the ravings of most mental patients. The only thing more insane than the counterintuitive strategy for defeating Islamic terrorism is the insistence that the intuitive strategy of keeping terrorists out and killing them is what terrorists want.
If you believe the experts, then Islamic terrorists want us to stop them from entering Europe, America, Canada and Australia. They crave having their terrorists profiled by law enforcement on the way to their latest attack. And they wish we would just carpet bomb them as hard as we can right now.
When ISIS shoots up Paris or Brussels, it’s not really trying to kill infidels for Allah. Instead it’s setting a cunning trap for us. If we react by ending the flow of migrants and preventing the next attack, ISIS wins. If we police Muslim no-go zones, then ISIS also wins. If we deport potential terrorists, ISIS still wins. But if we let ISIS carry out another successful attack, then ISIS loses. And we win.What do we win?
It depends. A concert hall full of corpses. Marathon runners with severed limbs. Families fleeing the airport through a haze of smoke. Only by letting ISIS kill us, do we have any hope of beating ISIS.
Politicians and experts claim that ISIS is insane. It’s not insane. It’s evil. Its goals are clear and comprehensible. The objectives of the Islamic State are easy to intuitively grasp. Our leaders and experts are the ones who are out of their minds. They may or may not be evil, but they are utterly insane. And they have projected their madness on Islamic terrorists who are downright rational compared to them.
Unlike our leaders, Islamic terrorists don’t confuse victory and defeat. They aren’t afraid that they’ll win. They don’t want us to kill them or deport them. They don’t care whether we call them ISIS or Daesh. They don’t derive their Islamic legitimacy from John Kerry or a State Department Twitter account. They get it from the Koran and the entire rotting corpus of Islamic law that they seek to impose on the world.
Our leaders are the ones who are afraid of winning. They distrust the morality of armed force and borders. They disguise that distrust behind convoluted arguments and counterintuitive rationales. Entire intellectual systems are constructed to explain why defeating ISIS is exactly what ISIS wants.
After the San Bernardino shootings, Obama insisted that, “Our success won’t depend on tough talk or abandoning our values… That’s what groups like ISIL are hoping for.” But ISIS does not care whether Obama talks tough, even if it’s only his version of tough talk in which he puffs out his chest and says things like, ”You are not strong, you are weak.”It is not interested in Obama’s “right side of history” distortion of American values either.
ISIS is not trying to be counterintuitive. It’s fighting to win. And our leaders are fighting as hard as they can to lose.
The counterintuitive strategy is not meant to fight terror, but to convince the populace that winning is actually losing and losing is actually winning. The worse we lose, the better our plan is working. And when we have completely lost everything then we’ll have the terrorists right where we want them. Just ask the dead of Brussels, Paris, New York, and a hundred other places.
This isn’t a plan to win. It’s a plan to confuse the issue while losing. It’s a plan to convince everyone that what looks like appeasement, defeatism, surrender and collaboration with the enemy is really a brilliant counterintuitive plan that is the only possible path to a lasting victory over Islamic terrorism. But intuitive beats counterintuitive. Winning intuitively beats losing counterintuitively. Counterintuitively dead terrorists multiply, but intuitively they stay dead. Counterintuitively, not discussing the problem is the best way to solve it. Intuitively, you solve a problem by facing it. Counterintuitively, collaborating with the enemy is patriotism. Intuitively, it’s treason.

I don’t know Kay Wilson. But I’ve seen her on social media, both Facebook and Twitter. She frequently makes reference to how she was carved up and butchered by Palestinians, but harbors no hatred of Palestinians. Israelly Cool has extensive archives on Kay Wilson.
I never really knew her story, though. But that story is in the news in Britain as part of the British coming to terms with their role in supporting terrorism against Jews in Israel through financial aid to charities and the Palestinian Authority.

Kay Wilson is in the news because The Daily Mail has an extenstive write-up on her story, and how the terrorists who butchered her are being paid by the Palestinian Authority while in prison, a common benefit bestowed on those who murder or maim Jews.
Two Palestinian terrorists who repeatedly stabbed a British woman in a brutal attack and killed her friend are now each receiving at least £9,000 in ‘blood money’ every year with the help of UK aid.
Kay Wilson was left for dead in an orgy of violence in Jerusalem in which Kristine Luken, an American, was killed.
The attackers were eventually caught and, after admitting their crimes, were sent to prison.
But Ms Wilson was horrified to learn from news reports that her assailants were being paid a monthly stipend equivalent to £750 each effectively from the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Last week The Mail on Sunday exposed how ‘reward’ payments are going via the PA to thousands of terrorists and to hundreds of other prisoners in Israeli jails.
Ms Wilson, 51, and her friend were hiking in the Judean Hills in 2010 when the two men pounced on them, believing both women to be Jewish, although Miss Luken was Christian. After tying the women up the terrorists launched a savage attack.
Miss Luken died from her stab wounds. Miss Wilson still bears a seven-inch scar on her stomach and, more than five years on, breathing still causes her pain.
Ms Wilson said: ‘We were held for 30 minutes at knife point then gagged and bound before being butchered with machetes.
‘I watched my friend chopped up before my eyes, and only survived because I played dead, despite being stabbed 13 times and having over 30 bones broken by the sheer force of the blows.
‘Each time he plunged his machete into me I could hear my bones crunch, and also my flesh ripping from the serrated blade.
Three is a petition that has garnered almost 200,000 signatures (as of this writing) calling for a cut in foreign aid.
As Wilson recounts the attack minute by minute, her voice stays stoic and calm. She wants the world to know what happened to her in the forest; she wants to share what has happened so she can begin the process of healing.
The two women got out of the car with Wilson’s dog, Peanut, and walked a bit on the Israel Trail. They had wandered off the path to an overlook when suddenly two Arab men appeared and asked in Hebrew if they had any water.
“I was startled… so I answered in Hebrew, which was a mistake,” Wilson said. “I know what they were trying to do, they were trying to figure out if we were Jewish.”
The men gave her an uneasy feeling, so Wilson suggested they head back to the path. She walked in front of Luken and opened the blade of her pen knife.
“Suddenly, she screams, and as I turn around one of them pounces on me, the other one has already pounced on her,” Wilson recounted. “This is the moment I was so terrified.
This was the overwhelming moment of fear for me, this first part.”
She struggled with her attacker, who had pulled out a very long, serrated knife, and managing to stab him in the thigh with her pen knife.
It was this stab that later allowed forensics experts to collect DNA at the site and positively identify the attacker, the Shin Bet said….
Meanwhile, the attackers were on their cellphones, saying over and over in Arabic, “Where are you?!” coordinating with at least one other member of the terrorist cell who was in the getaway vehicle….
As one of the men used pieces of Luken’s jacket to gag the women, it dawned on Wilson that they were going to be kidnapped.
“I’m standing there and I have the most terrible thought: that if we’re going to go sit with Gilad Schalit [in captivity], it’s better to be dead. It’s the most horrendous decision,” she said.
Then the women were separated and Wilson was forced to get on her knees with her head bowed. Suddenly the fear of murder became real.
“I see he gets out his knife and he pushes my head forward and I’m just waiting to be beheaded. I think psychologically at that point I lost all sense of fear. I completely blacked out, all I could think about was that he’d make a clean cut that he wouldn’t be messy.
“I’m waiting for ‘Allahu akbar!’ but it doesn’t come.
Instead, I hear ‘Oh no, oh God,’ and I can hear them starting to stab [Kristine] a few times. The next thing I know…he’s just stabbing me.
“It was so terrifying that there wasn’t a capacity for fear.
I’m just thinking, ‘I’m being murdered, what a waste, I’m 46 years old and I’m actually being murdered.’ I say ‘Shema Yisrael’ and the next thing I know I can hear Kristine really, really crying. And I’m thinking, ‘Stop it Kristine, stop it, you’ll have a chance if you just stop it.’” The first five or six stabs were into her muscles, but when one punctured her diaphragm, Wilson thought it was the end….
Finally the two men left, though they returned a moment later when Luken let out a cry, stabbing her several more times until she stopped making noise altogether. One of the men came over to Wilson, flipped her on her back, and drove his knife into her sternum, where her Star of David had been. Wilson managed not to cry out, and continuing to play dead.
As I mentioned near the start, when I see Kay Wilson on social media, it’s not to spread hate, it’s to spread healing. With the release of The Daily Mail story, she made sure to point out that she was saved by an Arab Israeli surgeon:
Wilson recently told her story outside the United Nations, as hideous anti-Israel propaganda and resolutions were debated and passed by the ill-named U.N. Human Rights Council.
According to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, “love” will defeat ISIS, the militant Islamic group that has taken large areas of Iraq and Syria, brutally murdering anyone who holds a view different from theirs, Breitbart.com reported Tuesday, citing a post the tech mogul made on his own website.
“Each of these attacks were carried out with a goal to spread fear and distrust, and turn members of a community against each other,”he said, addressing recent attacks in Belgium, Turkey and Pakistan.
The “only sustainable way to fight back” against these militants is to “create a world” where everyone “feels cared for and loved,”he added.
On Easter Sunday, at least 70 people were murdered and 300 more were injured when a Taliban faction that supports ISIS detonated a bomb in a park filled with children. The group said it had specifically targeted Christians in that attack.
As our own T.K. Whiteman reported, ISIS militants are plotting to murder Jewish children in Turkey. Zuckerberg, by the way, is Jewish.
According to the Religion of Peace blog, there have been 24 attacks in the week of March 19 – 25, resulting in 200 deaths and 395 more wounded.
Militant Islamic terrorism is nothing new, and Facebook’s response in recent years has primarily been to target those who report on it or those who oppose the idea of militant jihad. This, by the way, is the subject of a book that Adina Kutnicki, an investigative journalist based in Israel, and I are currently working on. That book is tentatively set to be published sometime this fall.
Zuckerberg is clearly living in a dream world if he thinks he can stop global militant jihad with a Coke and a stirring chorus of “Kumbaya.”
The plan to attack was far bigger than officials anticipated. Hopefully there aren’t sleeper cells waiting to attack using the same strategy.
Pictures and plans of Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel’s residence and offices were found on a computer discovered after a raid on a flat used by the men suspected of carrying out last week’s deadly bombings in Brussels, Belgian media reported.
The laptop was found in a bin outside the flat in the Brussels district of Schaerbeek, which investigators say was used by the Brussels Airport suicide bombers, Belgian business daily De Tijd wrote on Wednesday.
A security guard who worked at a Belgian nuclear plant was murdered and had his security pass stolen, just two days after the Brussels terror attacks.
Belgian media reported today that the security guard, named as Didier Prospero, was walking his dog in the Charleroi region of Belgium when he was shot dead. However, as soon as it emerged that his security pass had been stolen, it was quickly cancelled so nobody could gain access to the site using it.
Investigators are exploring a theory that the man, who has not been named, was killed to steal his pass and gain access to a nuclear facility.
Nuclear power plants are known to be targets for the terror network behind the Brussels bombings and the Paris attacks in November. In a nation on high alert following this week’s attacks, the report stokes fears about the possibility militants are seeking to get hold of nuclear material or planning to attack a nuclear site.
On Thursday, Derniere Heure newspaper had reported the suicide bombers who blew themselves up on Tuesday originally considered targeting a nuclear site, but a series of arrests of suspect militants forced them to speed up their plans and instead switch focus to the Belgian capital.
The Brussels terrorists were preparing an attack on a nuclear power plant and had recorded 12 hours of reconnaissance footage, it has been reported. The ISIS cell were spying on Belgium’s nuclear power chief, possibly as part of a kidnap plan to force him to let them into an atomic facility, according to newspaper Derniere Heure. Hours of film of the home of the Research and Development Director of the Belgian Nuclear Programme were discovered in an apartment in Brussels raided by anti-terrorist police following the attack in Paris.
The footage confounded investigators at first – as it showed the entrance to the director’s home in Flanders, an area outside the capital. But detectives made the chilling deduction that the group was attempting to gain entry to an atomic facility after watching all 12 hours of footage, which included images of a local bus.
Armed troops were sent to defend French and Belgian nuclear facilities following the discovery and both countries nuclear programmes were put on the highest state of alert.
Activists on the No Borders / Calais Migrant Solidarity Facebook page have been discussing how Tuesday’s bombing in Brussels was a “good thing,” as the chaos it caused will have enabled illegal immigrants to cross into the UK. One activist urged others to exploit the situation, saying: “Tell your friends in the jungle.”
Their prediction has proved correct as, hours after the Home Office announced extra security measures at Channel cross-border crossings, a lorry-load of illegal immigrants was discovered in Kent.
The discussion was prompted by Chiara Lauvergnac, a self-described “freelance troublemaker”,who wrote: “Eurostar to Brussels suspended, Lille airport is taking some of the planes due to land in Brussel[s] airport. It could mean some chaos and good chance some people will go to UK! Sorry there is a good side to everything,”and posted the comment to the Calais Migrant Solidarity Facebook page.
Gemma Rourke questioned “Sorry a good side to people being killed this morning?”to which fellow activist ‘Rojo Red’ replied: “Whether it’s a “good side” to people being killed is really irrelevant to me.”
He added: “Brussels Eurostar traffic suspended, thus a real possibility of increased traffic at Calais Eurostar. Tell your friends in the Jungle!”
Lauvergnac has also used her personal Facebook page to link to two articles suggesting that yesterday’s Islamic terrorist atrocity was a “false flag” operation fabricated by Western leaders, designed to increase support among the public for higher governmental security measures. Another post is of an image which reads: “My heart truly bleeds for what happened in Belgium… But Palestinians have faced attacks for almost 70 years from Israeli terrorists and the world is still silent.”

A chilling internal French police report has revealed that as many as 90 ‘kamikazes’ may be roaming the EU ready to attack. An officials also reveals that although borders are open, European countries are not sharing intelligence.
The Department of Homeland Security removed the names of nearly 1,000 individuals suspected of terrorism ties from the U.S. terrorist watch list, according to newly released documents obtained by an advocacy group under a Freedom of Information Act request.
The Washington Free Beacon first reported in 2014 that the Obama administration secretly assembled a terrorist “hands off” list that enabled individuals with terrorist ties unfettered entrance into the United States.
The latest documents, obtained by Judicial Watch and released on Tuesday, appear to confirm these initial reports. They further disclose that at least 1,000 names were scrubbed from the U.S. Terrorist Screening Database as part of an administration effort to protect the civil rights of suspected individuals.
“The documents appear to confirm charges that Obama administration changes created a massive ‘hands off’ list,” Judicial Watch said in a statement. “Removed data from the terrorist watch list could have helped prevent the San Bernardino terrorist attack.”
Lawmakers disclosed in 2014 that the administration has secretly assembled a terrorist “hands off” list that facilitated travel to the United States for those one flagged as a potential terror threat. Sources who spoke to the Free Beacon at the time disclosed that at least one individual, a Canadian Islamist leader tied to Hamas and Hezbollah, had been put on the list.
“These new documents bolster allegations that the Obama administration may have removed information from a terrorist watch list that could have prevented the San Bernardino terrorist attack,”Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement. “Philip Haney risked his career to blow the whistle on how the Obama administration created a ‘hands off” list of over 1,000 foreign nationals with potential terrorist ties. And, once again, it was a Judicial Watch lawsuit—and not Congress or the media—that uncovered the key information about this national security scandal.”
The chairman of the House Armed Services Committee said Tuesday that the administration is essentially sending troops into the “wilderness with a compass, but no map” after it failed to deliver a strategy to defeat the Islamic State by Monday’s deadline.
The fiscal 2016 National Defense Authorization Act required the administration to provide a strategy to counter violent extremism by Monday, a deadline it missed.
Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, said the failure to come through is unsurprising, despite the administration’s repeated assurances that its strategy is “well underway.”
“The committee is working now to shape the FY17 National Defense Authorization Act and the Pentagon has already begun requesting authorities our troops need to defeat this enemy. Without a strategy, this amounts to leaving our troops in the wilderness with a compass, but no map,” Thornberry said in a statement.
“Failing to comply with the report deadline represents more than a failure of strategic vision for the White House. It is a lost opportunity for the administration and Congress to work together on a common approach to face this threat,”he continued.
This past week Ali Muhammad Brown was sentenced to 36 years in prison after being found guilty of armed robbery in New Jersey. However, Brown’s case isn’t one of simple violence. The Seattle Muslim has also been accused of four separate counts of murder and of a charge of terrorism.
A Seattle man charged with killing four people in Washington and New Jersey in 2014 to protest U.S. foreign policy was on a federal terrorism watch list and wrote in his journal that he planned to follow the Islamic State group and “learn the ways of jihadis,” a New Jersey state prosecutor said Wednesday.
The details came out before Ali Muhammad Brown was sentenced to 36½ years in prison on an unrelated armed-robbery case.
The armed robbery occurred during the same time period as four killings now linked to Brown, three in Washington and one in New Jersey. Brown is still awaiting trial in all four slayings. He also faces a charge of terrorism, the first and only time New Jersey’s state terrorism statute has been used…
Authorities in Seattle have said that Brown described himself to detectives as a strict Muslim who was angry with the U.S. government’s role in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan because of the deaths of innocent civilians and children.
What makes Brown’s case interesting as a case study in modern American law, is that he is a perfect example of the dangers we face in allowing unvetted Muslim migration from Syria and Iraq (and other Muslim nations).
While Brown was not a migrant, he was already known to our government and even being monitored as a possible terrorist supporter. Even with this extra level of scrutiny, observation and watchfulness, our government could not stop this man from committing terrible violence on two different sides of the country! If the government is unable to even monitor the actions of one “known” terrorist sympathizer, how can we expect them to be able to protect us from the tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands if President Obama and John Kerry get their way) of unvetted Muslim refugees?
Our intelligence agencies have made it clear that they cannot vet every single refugee (See the FBI saying it here and Homeland Security saying it here) being allowed entrance into our nation, but still the Obama administration continues down this dangerous road. The Brown case is simply one more example of how liberals callously endanger American lives with government incompetence.
If you think that the U.S. has been fighting ISIS, think again. The U.S. has been dancing around the terrorist group in an effort to showcase the softer, cuddlier side of the Obama foreign policy agenda. Now, as ISIS continues to dominate the Middle East and reconquer lands for which Americans spilt blood to secure, the Obama Administration has finally changed the rules of engagement to allow U.S. forces to combat ISIS fighters on the ground in Afghanistan.
The rules of engagement previously only allowed U.S. forces to kill ISIS enemies if the ISIS fighters first showed “hostile intent.”
In all practicality, this meant that U.S. troops would often have to wait for ISIS fighters to open-fire on troops before they could then engage.
“Now,” a U.S. official revealed, “we can kill ISIS in Afghanistan just for wearing the T-shirt or waving their flag.”
While the Obama Administration has consistently refused to admit that the U.S. is in a war with radical Islam, President Obama has consistently downplayed the seriousness of the threat posed by ISIS. During his State of the Union address, Obama doubled-down on his assertion that ISIS is not a serious threat to Americans and claimed,
“Over-the-top claims that this is World War III just play into [ISIS’] hands.”He argued that ISIS fighters “do not threaten our national existence.”
“Masses of fighters on the back of pickup trucks, twisted souls plotting in apartments or garages, they pose an enormous danger to civilians. They have to be stopped. But they do not threaten our national existence,”Obama said. “That is the story ISIL wants to tell; that’s the kind of propaganda they use to recruit.”
Because of this horrifyingly mistaken belief, Obama’s Pentagon has consistently refused to engage the enemy in any meaningful manner. This administration, sadly, routinely offers 45-minute warnings before dropping bombs on ISIS targets. They do this by dropping leaflets from the air so that civilians (and ISIS fighters) can make the necessary preparations. Further, a whopping 75% of aerial engagements end without dropping a single ordnance out of fear of incurring a civilian casualty.
Now, after placing American troops in danger for years, the Obama Administration is finally allowing U.S troops in Afghanistan to do what they should have been allowed to do all along- kill terrorists.
It is little wonder why terrorism is on the rise; America has demonstrated a nauseating passivity that telegraphs weakness to the Islamic world and emboldens terrorists. Either we are committed to fighting and winning this war, or we should surrender to Islamic fanatics. If actions indicate preference, it’s clear which option Obama favors…
President Barack Obama views the threat posed by Islamist terrorism in a dangerously stupid way.
The day before Obama’s State of the Union address, New York Times reporter Peter Baker gave some insight into the way Obama thinks about the terrorism threat.
“Here is what he probably will not say, at least not this bluntly: Americans are more likely to die in a car crash, drown in a bathtub or be struck by lightning than be killed by a terrorist,”Baker wrote. “The news media is complicit in inflating the sense of danger. The Islamic State does not pose an existential threat to the United States. “
Baker, one of the most connected reporters in Washington, likely got that insight into Obama’s thinking from those close to the president, if not from a background briefing by President Obama himself. True to Baker’s prediction, Obama did not lay out his view of the terrorism threat as bluntly in the State of the Union, but he did dance around the theme.
“But as we focus on destroying ISIL, over-the-top claims that this is World War III just play into their hands,”the president said during a speech he promised wouldn’t be long, but clocked in at just under an hour. “Masses of fighters on the back of pickup trucks and twisted souls plotting in apartments or garages pose an enormous danger to civilians and must be stopped. But they do not threaten our national existence. “
This type of thinking about terrorism is not new. You can find proponents of the “lightening is more dangerous than terrorism”school of thought on both the libertarian right and the Barack Obama left. In November, Princeton Professor Andrew Shaver wrote an article in The Washington Post provocatively entitled, “You’re more likely to be fatally crushed by furniture than killed by a terrorist.”
“But despite unremitting coverage of the Paris attacks, an objective examination of the facts shows that terrorism is an insignificant danger to the vast majority of people in the West,”Shaver declared.
“Consider, for instance, that since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Americans have been no more likely to die at the hands of terrorists than being crushed to death by unstable televisions and furniture,”he went on.
The only problem with this way of thinking is my desk chair isn’t part of an international conspiracy actively trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction in order to inflict a mass casualty attack on American soil. And the United States government doesn’t have to spend billions of dollars a year in order to ensure the death toll from lightening strikes doesn’t drastically increase.
Yes, we are fortunate that successful terror attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11 have so far been relatively rare and have killed far fewer people collectively than various other threats we never even think about. But Islamist terrorists are actively planning and plotting to increase the numbers of American infidels they kill, and are seeking the deadliest weapons to inflict such carnage. My armoire is not.
This type of thinking has consequences. If you view the terrorism threat the same way you view the bathtub drowning threat, you’re probably not taking the risk of Islamist terrorists acquiring weapons of mass destruction as seriously as you should. It’s the type of delusional way of looking the world that might make a president mistake the most sophisticated terror group in human history for a “J.V. team” — or a nation who captures American sailors and humiliates them on national television as a country who will uphold its end of a nuclear treaty.
According to Saudi’s Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Asheikh, both ISIS and al-Qaeda are enemy number one. I guess he couldn’t choose just one. Maybe it’s one of those 1 and 1A kinds of things.
Off topic as it is – who chooses the names for these characters anyway? Do they get to choose? If so, why must they always be so long? Could you imagine having to endorse a check or sign one of the tiny electronic keypads at the grocery store – or signing autographs for the Grand Mufti groupies? Sheesh!
Anyway, the Mufti – oh excuse me – the Grand Mufti stated emphatically that, “The ideas of extremism, radicalism and terrorism … have nothing to do with Islam and (their proponents) are the enemy number one of Islam.”
Yet about the time he was condemning the two terror groups for their barbarism, he was signing off on one of the largest mass executions in the country’s history. They executed 47 “criminals.” Among these criminals was a Shiite cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr (again with the names). This did not please Shiite Iran, as response to the executions, they attacked and burned the Saudi embassy in Tehran.
No one knows exactly what their “crimes” were – only that the verdict against the “47 criminals was based on Allah’s Book and the Prophet’s Sunnah.”
The Grand Mufti, or G-Muf to his homies, claims they were tried properly according to Shariah law and found guilty of killing and making explosives. Well, that’s good enough for me, cause we can’t have anyone killing or making explosives. And I’m sure the cleric Nimrod al-Nimrod, being Shiite, where as the Saudi’s are Sunni, was just a happy coincidence.
G-Muf
But the 72 old Grand Mufti, complete with gray beard and gnarled eye, is evidently not without a sense of humor as he stated that not only is ISIS enemy numero uno, but that they “are in actuality Israeli soldiers.” Huh – who knew.
“This threat against Israel is simply a lie. Actually, Daesh (ISIS) is part of the Israeli soldiers,” said G-Muf. “The mufti also dismissed the seriousness of the threat declared by self-proclaimed Islamic State caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. If the Islamic State was serious, al-Asheikh said, they would be ‘killing Jews and liberating Palestine.’” He labeled the Islamic State heretics and they were doing damage to Islam and Muslims.
Well G-Muf –ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black. Sure the Saudi royal family and their holy men, like G-Muf, all publically proclaim their disgust of Islamist terror, but there’s a little thing called Wahhabism, the radical Islamic ideology that dates back a lot further than that of the Islamic State. So it’s time for another history lesson that I’ll guarantee the Grand Mufti knows all about and I also bet he’s a big booster.
The radical Wahhabi movement was founded by – here we go again – Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab in the 1700’s. Now, we’ve heard that terrorists like ISIS wish to return to the time of the earliest Muslims in the 7th century. Well, that’s exactly what al-Wahhab wished to do.
Al-Wahhab created the “Kitab al-Tawid” or “Book of God’s Uniqueness,” which became the “guiding text for his followers, who consequently speak of themselves as Muwahhidun (total monotheists) or as Salafis (followers of the ways of the first Muslims).”
After being run out of his home town, al- Wahhab found refuge in the city of Diriyah, north of what is now Riyadh, a city then ruled by Muhammad ibn Saud. The two had a commonality of cause and al-Wahhab agreed to help Saud fight his battles and send messengers of the faith out to spread the word and convert Muslims to Wahhabism. Of course those who refused, just as today, didn’t fare well. The messengers declared that, “King Saud, who was presented as Allah’s chosen monarch to whom all Muslims had to pledge baya, or absolute allegiance, so as not to face annihilation as foes of god.” Sound familiar?
Between 1744 and 1818 Wahhabist preachers, and the troops that backed them up, swept across the region securing the first kingdom of the House of Saud, or Saudi Arabia. The Wahhabist beliefs ran so deep that even the mighty Ottoman empire couldn’t wipe them out completely.
In 1824 the Saudi kingdom reemerged. At the throne was Emirate of Nejd, who ruled the kingdom from it’s new capital, Riyadh, between 1824 and 1891. The third Saudi kingdom started in 1932, who’s ruler, Abdulaziz ibn Saud (’32 – ’53) used Wahhabism to unite the many tribes under the Saudi umbrella.

During the Cold War, Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (ruled 1982 until his death in 2005) saw the opportunity to spread Wahhabism using weaponized jihad. During Fahd’s reign, “Saudi Arabia spent $4 billion per year on mosques, madrassas, preachers, students, and textbooks to spread the Wahhabi creed over the next decades.” But they weren’t/aren’t educating aspiring holy man. They were/are training terrorists – jihadis using Wahhabist theology and oh by the way, American supplied weapons.
And it’s no different today. The Saudis claim to be our friends and allies against terror, but the House of Saud has been quietly funding Wahhabist terror for many decades. They have created the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and ISIS and their influence is global through their funding of thousands of Mosques and Muslim Centers, where radical Wahhabist preachers recruit new jihadists. Most of the more than 1200 Mosques in the U.S. were funded by the Saudis.
The Saudis are bad people and certainly not our friends. Their radical Wahhabist ideology, while kept under wraps, is entirely incompatible with America and a free, secular society.
So when we hear old G-Muf state that extremism and terrorism are not Islam, you know for fact, he is lying his a** off.
On a stopover last week in San Bernardino, California, President Barack Obama was sure to visit with the families of those killed in the terrorist attack. As for the wounded and their families? Not so much.
According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Obama spent Friday evening with the families of the 14 dead, offering hugs and getting in some photos. However, one local official severely criticized Obama for failing to meet with first responders and the 22 who were left wounded by the Dec. 2 attack. The visit was carried out as Obama was en route to his annual Christmas vacation in Hawaii.
The San Bernardino attacks, carried out by married Muslim terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, has been a cause celebre for an Obama administration pushing for gun control. Recent reports indicate that the president specifically instructed intelligence services to downplay the terrorism aspect of the attack.
San Bernardino Supervisor Curt Hagman said the president was using a terror attack to “to promote his agenda on gun control.” He also called upon Obama to visit with first responders and wounded who “also deserve the president’s time.”
“This is an opportunity for unity and healing at the highest level and I call upon President Obama to be more inclusive with his meeting,”Hagman said in a statement.
Obama’s use of San Bernardino as yet another photo opportunity shouldn’t necessarily come as a surprise. After all, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Obama’s visit to San Bernardino was “patterned after” a similar visit he made to Roseburg, Oregon, in October after a shooting at Umpqua Community College.
During that visit, Obama met with some of the families of victims and pressed for gun control. However, he didn’t meet with either first responders or other family members of the wounded who had expressed opposition to Obama’s use of the tragedy as platform for gun control legislation.
Obama seems rather immune to that sort of criticism, though. As Rahm Emmanuel once said, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste.” The president certainly doesn’t.
The mainstream media are reporting that a Bay Area plumber who allegedly planned to bomb a California mosque was a Donald Trump supporter–though he explicitly supported Hillary Clinton.
On Sunday, police arrested 55-year-old William Celli “on suspicion of possessing an explosive device and making criminal threats,”CBS San Francisco reported. A bomb squad detonated a device at his house. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) cheered the arrest.
CBS elaborated further: “On Facebook, Celli repeatedly praised Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, whose plan to bar any Muslims from entering the United States has drawn criticism even as he continues to rise in the polls.”
The Huffington Post and other left-wing sites played up Celli’s support of Trump, implying that Trump was responsible for “propelling” bigotry and “white domestic terrorism” into the “mainstream” of political debate.
What the media left out, however, is that Celli also praised Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton.
In one post, Celli wrote: “Hillary Would make a great president. If she would commit to what she is hiding. But she has to crucify the president. Then her run for the White house is over.”
The post praising Hillary Clinton is dated Oct. 22–the day Clinton testified for 11 hours at the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
The Huffington Post and other outlets claimed the story has been overlooked because
Celli doesn’t fit the profile of the “terrorist” who is likely to be invoked on cable news or on a GOP debate stage. In fact, judging by Celli’s Facebook page, he seems to be the exact inverse: a disgruntled white man who has bought into the xenophobic rhetoric of people like GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Or Hillary Clinton. But never mind the facts.
Update: The Contra Costa Timesfollows the same pattern, calling William Celli a “Donald Trump supporter” in the headline and throughout the piece, quoting extensively from his Facebook page without mentioning his support for Hillary Clinton.

Trump has received mounting criticism from both political parties for inflammatory comments about the Muslim community, such as the idea to create databases to track American Muslims and restrict Muslims from entering the country. Critics have warned that such comments could fuel Islamophobia.
No mention of Clinton whatsoever appears in the article.
One of the authors, Thomas Peele, mocked “Bill the Plumber” on Twitter:
Peele’s website boasts that he has won “more than 50 journalism awards.”

The latest example came Sunday after William Celli of Richmond, California was arrested for building explosive devices that he allegedly planned to use to kill Muslim Americans. What inspired Celli’s actions? Well, we know that Celli’s Facebook page was filled with his posts praising Trump, even adding that he would follow Trump “to the end of the world.” This is not unlike social media posts pledging undying loyalty to ISIS type groups.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)’s first major legislative achievement is a total and complete sell-out of the American people masquerading as an appropriations bill. Too harsh, you say? Let the programs, the spending, and the implications speak for themselves.
(1) Ryan’s Omnibus Fully Funds DACA
Though much of the public attention has surrounded the President’s 2014 executive amnesty, the President’s 2012 amnesty quietly continues to churn out work permits and federal benefits for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. Paul Ryan’s bill funds entirely this 2012 executive amnesty for “DREAMers”—or illegal immigrants who came to the country as minors.
Specifically, Division F of Ryan’s omnibus bill contains no language that would prohibit the use of funds to continue the President’s unconstitutional program. Obama’s executive action, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), has granted around 700,000 illegal aliens with work permits, as well as the ability to receive tax credits and federal entitlement programs. A recent GAO report documented how this illegal amnesty program for alien youth is, in large part, responsible for the illegal alien minor surge on our southern border.
In 2013, Paul Ryan said that it is his job as a U.S. lawmaker to put himself in the shoes of “the DREAMer who is waiting” and work to find legislative solutions to his or her problems.
(2) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds Sanctuary Cities
Five months ago, 32-year-old Kate Steinle was bleeding to death in her father’s arms. She was gunned down in broad daylight by a five-time deported criminal alien whose presence in the country was the direct result of San Francisco’s refusal to comply with U.S. immigration law—yet Paul Ryan’s omnibus rewards these lawless Sanctuary Cities with federal grants. Division B Title II of Ryan’s omnibus funds various grant programs for the Department of Justice (pages 167, 168, and 169) and contains no language that would restrict the provision of such grants to sanctuary jurisdictions.
In a Congressional hearing, Steinle’s father demanded Congressional action and recalled his daughter’s dying words: “Help me, Dad.”
(3) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds All Refugee Programs
Despite broad support amongst Republican lawmakers for a proposal introduced by Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) to halt all refugee resettlement, Ryan’s appropriations bill will fund President Obama’s refugee resettlement operation and will allow for the admission of tens of thousands of refugees with access to federal benefits. Division H Title II of Ryan’s bill contains appropriations of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and contains no language that would restrict the program. Nor are there any restrictions for the program in Division K of Ryan’s bill, which provides funding for the Department of State, which oversees refugee admissions.
Ryan is not one of the 84 cosponsors of Babin’s bill to halt the refugee operation, and he recently told Sean Hannity that he does not support halting resettlement because, “We’re a compassionate country. The refugees laws are important laws.”Similarly, this outcome represents a legislative win for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who told Sean Hannity he’d “hate to use” Congress’s power of the purse to deny funding for Obama’s resettlement operation.
(4) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds All of the Mideast Immigration Programs That Have Been Exploited by Terrorists in Recent Years
Although multiple immigrant and visa programs in recent years have been exploited by terrorists (such as the F-1 “student” visa, the K-1 “fiancée” visa, and our green card and refugee programs), Ryan’s proposal does nothing to limit admissions from jihadist-prone regions. As Senators Shelby and Sessions of Alabama noted in a joint statement: “The omnibus would put the U.S. on a path to approve admission for hundreds of thousands of migrants from a broad range of countries with jihadists movements over the next 12 months, on top of all the other autopilot annual immigration.”
(5) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds Illegal Alien Resettlement
On page 917 of Ryan’s omnibus a section titled“Refugee and Entrant Assistance” funds the President’s resettlement of illegal immigrant border crossers.
(6) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds the Release of Criminal Aliens
Senior legislative aides tell Breitbart News that Ryan’s bill does not do anything to change the enforcement priorities that Jeh Johnson established a little over a year ago that would shield entire categories of criminal aliens from immigration law, nor does it include language recommended by Sessions and Shelby to “deny the expenditure of funds to issue visas to countries that refuse to repatriate criminal aliens.”
(7) Ryan’s Omnibus Quadruples H-2B Foreign Worker Visas
Despite Ryan’s pledge not to move an immigration compromise with President Obama, tucked 700 pages into Ryan’s spending bill is language that would resuscitate and expand a controversial provision of the Schumer-Rubio Gang of Eight plan to increase the H-2B visa program.
The provision “would quadruple the number of H-2B visas for unskilled guest workers, for a total of more than 250,000,”writes immigration attorney Ian Smith. The Americans who fill these jobs are typically “society’s most vulnerable — including single women, the disabled, the elderly, minorities, teenagers, students, and first-generation immigrants,” Smith explains.
A recent BuzzFeed exposé revealed how this program allows businesses to discriminate against American workers and “deliberately den[y] jobs to American workers so they can hire foreign workers on H-2 visas instead.” As one GOP aide told Breitbart News, “This provision is a knife in the heart of the working class, and African Americans.”
(8) Ryan’s Omnibus Funds Tax Credits for Illegal Aliens
Ryan’s bill preserves the expansion of the President’s expiring child tax credits without any accompanying language to prevent illegal aliens from receiving those tax credits. While Sen. Sessions attempted to include language in the bill that would prevent illegal immigrants from receiving tax credits, his recommendation was rejected.
(9) Ryan’s Omnibus Locks-In Huge Spending Increases
The bill funds the Obama-Boehner budget deal, which eliminated spending caps, and will increase both defense and non-defense spending next year by $25 billion more each.
(10) Ryan’s Omnibus Fails to Allocate Funds to Complete the 700-Mile Double-Layer Border Fence That Congress Promised the American People
Nearly a decade ago with the passage of the 2006 Secure Fence Act, the American people were promised a 700-mile double-layer border fence. However, funding for the fence was later gutted and, as a result, its construction was never completed. Despite heightened media focus over the past six months about Americans’ desire for this barrier to illegal entry, Ryan’s bill does not require that funds be allocated to finish the construction of the 700-mile double-layer fence.
A vote could occur as early as Thursday after midnight, giving lawmakers and the public only one full business day to review the 2,242 page package. The Ryan-Pelosi package represents nothing short of a complete and total betrayal of the American people.
Yet Ryan’s omnibus serves a second and equally chilling purpose. By locking in the President’s refugee, immigration, and spending priorities, Ryan’s bill is designed to keep these fights out of Congress by getting them off the table for good. Delivering Obama these wins–and pushing these issues beyond the purview of Congress–will suppress public attention to the issues and, in so doing, will boost the candidacy of the Republican establishment’s preferred presidential contenders, who favor President Obama’s immigration agenda.
What may prove most discouraging of all to Americans is that recent reports reveal that conservatives in the so-called House Freedom Caucus are praising Ryan even as he permanently locks in these irreversible and anti-American immigration policies. According to Politico, the House Freedom Caucus will “give Ryan a pass” even as he funds disastrous policies that prioritize the interests of foreign nationals and global corporatists above the needs of the American people whom lawmakers are supposed to represent.

In advance of the release of Congress’ year-end spending package, the office of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is highlighting some terrorists who were recently granted access to the U.S. through the nation’s immigration system. In an email to reporters Tuesday, a Sessions aide listed more than 30 examples of immigrants admitted to the U.S. who were recently implicated in terrorist activities.
Sessions, the chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, and other conservative lawmakers have warned against passing a spending bill that does not place limitations on admissions — in particular refugee admission — to the U.S.
“Congress must cancel the President’s blank refugee check and put Congress back in charge of the program. We cannot allow the President to unilaterally decide how many refugees he wishes to admit, nor continue to force taxpayers to pick up the tab for the tens of billions of unpaid-for welfare and entitlement costs,” Sessions and Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL), the chairman of the Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations subcommittee, said in a joint statement last week.
The pair added that passing the spending deal without limiting language “would put the U.S. on a path to approve admission for hundreds of thousands of migrants from a broad range of countries with jihadists movements over the next 12 months, on top of all the other autopilot annual immigration – absent language to reduce the numbers.”
The Sessions aide noted that the 30 examples are listed represented just a “partial” inventory of recently implicated terrorist migrants.

The liberal media is apoplectic over White America and Donald Trump. Trump’s a racist, Republicans are Islamophobes and the entire country is a wellspring of bigotry and hatred. Right? Right?
So to prove this point, The Detroit Free Press ran a front-page editorial (right above a story about a robot butler, FrontPageMag points out) condemning Donald Trump, his followers and anyone concerned about Radical Islam and terrorism.
One huge problem: Their photo accompanying the article is of a known terrorist sympathizer.
Is there a worse picture to put with this story? Maybe bin Laden?
Imam Husham Al-Husayni tells his fellow Muslims to “get ready for holy jihad.” He has refused to denounce the terrorist group Hezbollah and celebrates the murder of Jews.
Not exactly the kind of person you want as a poster child for tolerance.

Americans who support the real estate magnate turned reality television star turned ersatz politician either bestow approval on the candidate precisely because of his disdain for immigrants, Hispanics and Muslims — or because it just doesn’t bother them that much.
Contrast Trump’s statements to President Barack Obama’s Sunday night address from the Oval Office:
“Muslim Americans are our friends and our neighbors, our coworkers, our sports heroes — and, yes, they are our men and women in uniform who are willing to die in defense of our country. We have to remember that.”
And so: We stand with San Bernardino. We stand with Paris. We stand with Beirut. We stand with Syrian refugees, seeking a safer life in our country, still a beacon of democracy and freedom, despite Trump’s efforts to the contrary. We stand with the Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists, Hindus, Buddhists and all others who make up our community.
The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) has been terrorizing the Middle East for almost three years. Unfortunately, the mainstream media and President Barack Obama act as if they want the public to remain ignorant about a radical Islamic group so horrific that al-Qaeda does not want anything to do with them.
These are the facts that every American must know.
1. ISIS IS WINNING THE SOCIAL MEDIA WAR
Facebook. YouTube. Twitter. If it is a social media outlet, ISIS knows how to use it to amp up their recruits and spread their message.
In February, former National Security Council staffer Hillary Mann Leverett claimed the terrorist group sends out 90,000 social media messages a day.While that seems like a lot, others believe the number is actually double that number.
“My best estimate is something over 200,000 a day, including retweets, but that comes with a lot of caveats,”explained J.M. Berger, a non-resident fellow at the Brookings Institution. “It is not entirely possible to break down members vs. fanboys and the bulk of accounts don’t visibly differentiate. But a plurality of the accounts we examined for the study appeared to be based in Iraq and Syria.”
Breitbart News regularly reports how militants use social media to recruit Westerners, especially women. The Institute for Strategic Dialogue and the International Center for the Study of Radicalization at King’s College discovered that the feeling of “sisterhood” was just as much of a draw as finding a mujahid groom for the majority of women from the West.
2. ISIS RAKES IN BETWEEN $25 TO $90 MILLION A MONTH FROM OIL SALES
The squabble between Turkey and Russia pushed the subject of ISIS-controlled oil fields into the headlines. Both countries accuse each other of purchasing oil from ISIS, but how much does that give the group?
In July 2014, experts believedoil earned ISIS at least $3 million a day, or roughly $90 million a month. The group captured numerous oil fields in Syria’s Diar Alzour province, including the Omar oil field. Almost a year later, the U.S. claimed ISIS was weakening, but militants “seized most of the Baiji oil refinery, the largest in Iraq.”
Other analysts said that ISIS only makes $2 million a month from oil, which is around $24 million a year.
3. ISIS CALIPHATE SPANS UP TO 35,000 SQUARE MILES
On, November 17, GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush tweeted out this picture of the caliphate.
The picture shows the state ISIS has formed so far is about the size of Indiana, with over 8 million residents. They established Raqqa, Syria, as the capital of their caliphate. In 2014, one publication said the the caliphate sized at 12,000 square miles while others put it at 35,000 miles. Either way, one thing remains constant: “They would like the entire world to be Muslim, but they want the world to be Muslim in a very, very narrowly defined manner,”said William Beeman, chair of the anthropology department at the University of Minnesota. “They are fundamentalist Muslims and their idea of Islam is quite different from the rest of the Islamic world.”
4. FBI RUNNING OVER 900 INVESTIGATIONS OF ISIS OPERATIVES IN THE 50 STATES
In October, FBI Director James Comey told intelligence officials his department is currently running at least 900 investigations against alleged ISIS operatives in America. However, the stats also showed that the majority of Americans are not fleeing to ISIS. That only means the domestic threat rises if they stay in the states.
5. THOSE INVESTIGATIONS SPAN TO ALL 50 STATES
Comey also alerted the nation that ISIS “tentacles” spread to all 50 states. Unfortunately, though, potential recruits and ISIS use encrypted software to communicate.
“ISIS is sending a poisonous message that buzzes in the pockets of troubled souls, unmoored people, all day long,”said Comey. “The challenge we face is finding those needles in a nationwide haystack, assessing where they are on a spectrum between consuming this poison and acting on it, and disrupting them before they act.”
6. 72 DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY EMPLOYEES ON FEDERAL WATCHLIST
The second amendment clearly states that“the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”But Sunday night, President Barack Obama pushed for more gun control at the federal level by urging Congress to make sure people on the federal no-fly list can buy a gun. However, that list is far from perfect.
On December 1,
Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) revealed an investigation in August showed 72 employees of the Department of Homeland Security were on the watch list. This led to Lynch and other Democrats voting with Republicans on a bill to “ramp up screening requirements for Syrian and Iraqi refugees.” He said:
Back in August, we did an investigation—the inspector General did—of the Department of Homeland Security, and they had 72 individuals that were on the terrorist watch list that were actually working at the Department of Homeland Security. The director had to resign because of that. Then we went further and did and eight-airport investigation. We had staffers go into eight different airports to test the department of homeland security screening process at major airports. They had a 95 percent failure rate. We had folks—this was a testing exercise, so we had folks going in there with guns on their ankles, and other weapons on their persons, and there was a 95 percent failure rate.
Which leads us to the final fact:
7. ZERO SAN BERNARDINO TERRORISTS WERE ON THAT NO-FLY LIST
The no-fly list mentioned 72 Homeland Security employees. In the past, the name “T. Kennedy” appeared on the list, causing troubles for former Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA). Civil Rights icon
Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) ended up on the list, which caused numerous headaches and travel delays. Babies and toddlers remained on the list.
But Obama and Democrats want to rely on the list, even though San Bernardino terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik never appeared on the list.They slaughtered 14 people in cold blood. Investigators believe Malik pledged allegiance to ISIS. Others said the bombs the couple made mirrored those in al-Qaeda’s Inspire magazine. CBS confirmed reports that both of the attackers viewed ISIS propaganda online.
The problem with Obama’s push for the inclusion of the no-fly list into background checks is that the San Bernardino attackers—Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik—were not on the no-fly list, according to CNN. In fact, they were not on “any list” tied to potential terrorists in the U.S.
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX-10th) made this clear on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, when he referenced Farook and Malik and said, “There were no flags [or] warning signs in this particular case.”
In other words, Farook would have still been able to pass a background check for a gun purchase even if the no-fly list were included in background checks. Yet many law-abiding Americans might actually be denied gun purchases if the no-fly list were added, and that is the reason the NRA opposes adding the no-fly list to background checks.
Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, who killed 14 people and injured dozens more on Wednesday, have connections to radical Islamic groups, officials say. New details related to the Islamic terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, California have emerged, revealing the possibility that the shooters were in contact with members of Al Qaeda and the Islamic State. Investigators believe that the female attacker pledged allegiance to the Islamic State as the rampage was ongoing.
During the jihadi attack, Tashfeen Malik posted on Facebook that she was pledging allegiance to Islamic State “caliph” Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, officials told CNN. The investigators said she used an account under a different name.
Law enforcement sources told multiple news outlets that the bombs created by the two jihadis resembled models for which instructions were provided in Al Qaeda’s “Inspire” magazine, which was thought to be the creation of deceased Al Qaeda leader Anwar Al-Awlaki. One particular issue of “Inspire” printed a guide on “how to build a bomb in the kitchen of your mom.”
Awlaki – who served as the Imam of the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Virginia during the 9/11 attacks, then left the country to become a leader in Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula – has been credited as the inspiration for several other Islamic terror attacks in the United States. The Fort Hood jihadi, Nidal Hasan, had a demonstrated connection to Awlaki, communicating with Al Qaeda’s chief recruiter directly. Additionally, the Boston Marathon bombers, Dzokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, held a collection of propaganda clips from Awlaki.
There is also the possibility that the two terrorists, while in Saudi Arabia, linked up with radical Islamic terrorist organizations.
Fox News reports that “one or both members of the couple made contact with suspected Al Qaeda terrorists,” citing investigators on the case.
Farook and Malik first met on an online dating website. The two united in Saudi Arabia, and Farook brought Malik to the United States in 2014, officials say. Malik slipped through the cracks, passing a Homeland Security counterterrorism screening as part of her receiving a K-1 visa.
Saira Khan, the sister of the male attacker, spoke to CBS Friday morning about her brother’s act of terror.
“I can never imagine my brother or my sister-in-law doing something like this. Especially because they were happily married, they had a beautiful 6-month-old daughter. It’s just mind-boggling why they would do something like this,” she said. “It makes us very upset and angry that how could you leave a 6-month-old daughter.”
The two reportedly scrubbed their social media accounts a day before committing the shootings in San Bernardino, law enforcement officials said.
Update- 2:30 PM: The FBI is officially investigating the attack as an act of terrorism.
Update- 2:00 PM: Farook’s sister, who said earlier today she “can’t fathom” why her brother would commit such a heinous act, is a member of a pro-Caliphate Islamist group.
Update- 12:00 PM: The terrorists’ home, where Farook’s mother also resides, was described as an “IED factory” and a “bomb-making facility.”
Islamic extremists in Germany are using food, shelter and the religion of home as bait as they fish the wave of Syrian refugees entering Germany for new converts to radical Islam. “They start by saying, ‘We will help you live your faith,’”Torsten Voss of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency told the Wall Street Journal. “The Islamist area comes later — that is, of course, their goal.”
German officials said that refugees who want to attend mosques in search of familiar surroundings are, increasingly, attending those frequented by Islamic extremists. German officials told the Journal that they already know of at least 100 instances in which Islamic extremists known to the authorities have tried to establish contact with refugees.
“I’m afraid that anti-Americanism, anti-Israel sentiment and anti-Semitism will be on the rise,”said Der Tagesspiegel editor in chief Malte Lehming. “We have very limited educational tools to change that. Syria is one of the most anti-Israel countries, influenced by Iran and helped by Hezbollah.”
More than one million Syrian refugees are expected to enter Germany in the next year. The radicalization of Muslim refugees has taken on a new urgency in Europe after disclosure that at least one of the terrorists participating in the Paris attacks entered Europe in the mass of Syrian refugees.
Berlin recently distributed a 16-page pamphlet alerting aid workers. Extremists may “take advantage of the refugees’ emotional situation to influence especially youngpeople ideologically, to build ties to them ideologically, and in the worst case to incite them to acts of violence,” it said.
In Saarland, along the French border, Helmut Albert, the state’s chief domestic intelligence official, said that since early September, most newly arrived refugees are frequenting radical Islamic mosques.
“We’re watching to see whether, over time, the refugees start going there not only because the sermons are in Arabic but because they’ve joined the movement,”he said.
Brown’s words recall a widely-heralded study that was published last summer, claiming that “right-wing extremism” was a bigger threat to the U.S. than jihad, based on the number of Americans killed by each since 9/11. Not only does this study skew the results by leaving out 9/11, but it also ignored the many, many foiled jihad plots in the U.S. since 9/11. Also, right-wing extremists like Dylann Roof, the murderer in Charleston, South Carolina, killed because of their paranoid fantasies, but were not part of any movement with an articulated agenda or goal, while Islamic jihadists are members of or ideologically aligned with groups that have declared their intention to destroy the U.S. and the free world. Islamic jihad groups are determined to kill as many Americans as possible and conquer free societies, and swallowing Brown’s nonsense here will result in the deaths of many Americans.
“White Men Are The Biggest Terrorist Threat To The U.S., Not Muslims — A Reminder From Sen. Sherrod Brown,” by Val Powell, Inquisitr, November 23, 2015:
Muslims and other Middle Eastern people have been falsely branded as terrorists by many, but on Thursday, Sen. Sherrod Brown reminded millions of Americans that most acts of terrorism in the country were carried out by white men and not by Arabs or Muslims.
Brown said that “generally white males” are to blame for many terrorist attacks since September 11, 2001. He cited several incidents of mass shootings in public places in broad daylight and called them “terrorist attacks,” but the only difference is that they were carried out by “different kinds of terrorists.”
“I think most of us recognize, we’re concerned but we also know that we trust the FBI and our security forces to do this right. I mean, since the beginning of the Bush administration when we were attacked, September 11th, we’ve not had any major terrorist attacks in this country,” Brown said, adding that the country has been relatively safe from foreign terrorists.
Many people in Fort Hood and Boston would beg to differ.
Brown also pointed out that the real terror does not come from the outside and that much of the people’s views and stereotypes are distorted. During a radio interview on WAKR, Sen. Brown said that while people are putting all the blame on Muslims, white men who were involved in smaller acts of terrorism committed were neglected.
“We’ve had individual crazy people, normally, they look more like me than they look like Middle Easterners — they are generally white males — who have shot up people in movie theaters and schools. Those are terrorist attacks, they’re just different kinds of terrorists.”
The Ohio Democrat also assured people there is nothing to fear because the government and local communities are putting every effort in keeping the country safe for everyone. The government has done a great job warding off terrorist attacks from foreigners. However, he added the real cause for concern is the terrorism that happens inside the country done by white men, and that is where the government fails to protect its people.
“Not keeping us safe from crazy gunmen coming into schools and movie theaters sometimes, but certainly keeping us safe from foreigners attacking this country,” the senator argued.
In response to the ISIS terror attacks in Paris, Donald Trump suggested shutting down mosques to prevent extremist Muslims from committing atrocities in the country. Conservatives are also against offering asylum to Syrian refugees.
Domestic terrorism is a problem in the country, but it is often neglected and replaced with paranoia that comes with welcoming Muslims in the U.S.
However, white men were responsible for the firebombing of abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood, as well as mass shootings in movie theaters and schools. Who can forget the killing of nine church members in South Carolina? The perpetrator was a white young man named Dylann Roof. In a recent interview, the senator made a good point of reminding people about the stereotypes people subscribe to….

Obama, wearing his tan vacation suit walks on stage to tell the people of America that he doesn’t have a strategy.
Counter to Obama, Reagan had this to say:
“…when our citizens are abused or attacked, anywhere in the world on the direct orders of a hostile regime, we will respond so long as I am in this Oval Office. Self defense is not only our right, it is our duty.
And he continues,
“I warned that there should be no place on earth where terrorists can rest and train and practice their deadly skills. I meant it. I said that we would act with others if possible and alone if necessary to ensure that terrorists have no sanctuary anywhere tonight.”
A true leader is decisive, direct, and someone who commands attention.
In the wee hours of July 4, FBI counterterrorism agents in the Boston area scrambled to thwart the last of a string of Islamic State terror plots they feared could be conducted during the patriotic holiday or soon after. Just weeks earlier, an agent and Boston officers had shot and killed an ISIS sympathizer on the same streets, right before he boarded a bus armed with a military-style knife and plans to attack cops and behead a woman.
Now, an undercover operative set up a weapons buy on the streets with a young Massachusetts man, the son of a respected cop but now someone who had been radicalized by the Islamic State. Agents believed he was plotting to shoot or blow up students at an out-of-state campus with bombs laced with Styrofoam, which sticks to skin and worsens the burns.
The buy went down, the young man was arrested and a search of his apartment quickly confirmed agents’ fears.
The harrowing ending to the two Boston cases this summer seemed ripped from a Hollywood movie script — except the threats were real and the consequences of stumbling could have been lethal.

With another round of holidays fast approaching in the shadows of last Friday’s Paris attacks, FBI officials on the front lines of the war on terrorism see a new round of threats rising and worry they don’t have all the tools to cope, according to interviews with The Washington Times.
Officials familiar with the bureau’s preparations, speaking only on condition of anonymity, said Director James Comey has put a brave public face on the bureau’s fight against ISIS that masks significant tensions behind the scenes with the Obama administration.
Bureau officials are deeply worried they don’t have enough resources to track a growing number of radicalized Americans inspired by the Islamic State, with more possibly entering as President Obama opens the borders to thousands of Syrian refugees.
Those fears are also shared in Congress, where support is building for a measure by House Speaker Paul Ryan to temporarily halt any new refugees from entering the country.
Rep. Blake Farenthold, Texas Republican and a member of both of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees, told a Washington Times radio show Tuesday that the U.S. government does not have the resources to screen a new wave of Syrian refugees for terror ties as the administration has promised.
“They’re basically lying to you saying, ‘oh we’ve got this vetting process to make sure that they’re safe.’ But you had the FBI director testify before Congress, under oath saying that if they have no information on someone they have nothing to vet them against,”Mr. Farenthold said on the “Capitol Hill Show” with Tim Constantine.
“We have testimony saying, and I think common sense also dictates that in a failed state like Syria you don’t have any government information, police reports to rely on to vet somebody,”the congressman added. “So there’s no way to do a background check from somebody coming out of Syria. There’s no way we can find out whether they’re safe or not.”
Likewise, the bureau is frustrated that the White House and Justice Department have not pressured Congress to act more quickly to force technology companies to help break the encrypted communications of suspects, fearing political appointees have been too deferential to a politically connected, well-monied industry.
“We have suspects we’ve been tracking that have gone dark, because we can no longer follow their encrypted activities. Physical surveillance can only take us so far and the urgency to solve that gap in the political realm isn’t there,”one official said, speaking only on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak to the media.
Added another official: “The administration has a calming public storyline that we have this all under control and life can go on as normal. But we’re one crack in the sidewalk away from a tragedy, and that crack could be an encrypted message we can’t follow, a lead we couldn’t resource or a refugee who slips in like we saw in Paris.”
FBI officials have seen a spike in Islamic State supporters in the U.S. switching to mobile and gaming apps with deep encryption to carry out their communications, suddenly cutting off the FBI’s ability to monitor them.
One official told the Times the U.S. has credible evidence that the Paris attackers used a PlayStation 4 to plan the attacks and talk with plotters through encrypted means.
“These apps and games have encryption we currently can’t penetrate,” the official said. “A legislative solution isn’t even possible with the time we have left with the potential threats in the U.S. for these holidays.”
A senior FBI official in headquarters, speaking on condition of anonymity, acknowledged that agents on the front lines have frustrations with the speed of a policy or legislative solution, but that officials in headquarters were working hard to strike a short-term deal with technology companies to improve the FBI’s access in terror cases.
“We continue to have productive conversations with communications providers, based on a shared belief of safety and security on the internet, the benefits of strong encryption, and the need for reasonable access pursuant to court orders,” the official said.
Adding to the concern is that the activity among Islamic State recruits in the U.S. has slowed since July when the FBI announced it had disrupted multiple plots and arrested at least 10 U.S.-based sympathizers.
“While it has reduced the load a bit this fall, there are some in the intelligence community who fear it may be a sign that the sleeper cells are already here or that the arrests and publicity this summer tipped off ISIL to change its tactics and communication patterns,”one counterterrorism official said.
Mr. Comey, who conducted a classified briefing Tuesday evening with House members, has been candid in his open testimonies with Congress about the concerns with encryption and the lack of resources for vetting a wave of new refugees.
But at the same time, he has also been diplomatic.
A few days before the disrupted plots were announced, the FBI director pressed Congress but also made clear he appreciated the privacy benefits of encryption software and wasn’t picking a fight with the technology companies.
“I am not here to fight a war,” he told senators.
Unfortunately, the Islamic State is fighting a war and put a new bull’s eye on Washington D.C. and other American cities this week with a videotaped threat after the Paris attacks.
CIA Director John Brennan on Monday acknowledged that more attacks and plots are likely already in the “pipeline.” And Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, unequivocally disputed Mr. Obama’s claims this week that the Islamic State is “contained” and said she had “never been more concerned.”
FBI officials see a high terror threat over the next seven weeks through the New Year’s holiday, fearing such attacks could have been plotted months ago in Syria to be carried out by Islamic State trained fighters using small arms, suicide bombers, grenades and other conventional means on soft targets like sporting events, hotel parties, restaurants or entertainment venues.
The FBI also has growing evidence that the Islamic State has advanced its bomb making skills in places like Brussels — the staging location for the Paris attacks — and disseminated that lethal knowledge to sleeper cells or home-grown terrorists radicalized across the Internet.
“The attackers could look and act just like everyday Americans until they strike with weapons we haven’t seen in terror attacks here,”one official said, summarizing current threat assessments.
The Boston case thwarted on the Fourth of July offered that perfect storm: an unlikely suspect who used the Internet to become radicalized, advance his plot and learn about explosives.
Alexander Ciccolo, a recent convert to Islam who took the name Ali Al-Amriki, is the son of a respected Boston police captain who tipped off the bureau to his son’s ill intentions. He was arrested on the street after, according to authorities, trying to buy semiautomatic weapons from an FBI undercover operative on the morning of Independence Day.
A raid of his apartment turned up a pressure cooker, explosives and other materials confirming the FBI’s suspicions he was plotting an attack that he planned to broadcast live on the Internet, according to court records.
In his confession to the FBI, the younger Mr. Ciccolo detailed his hatred for non-Muslim Americans and the violence he was indoctrinated by the Islamic State to carry out via the Internet, according to court records.
His Facebook account under his alias divulged both his allegiance and his intent: “Thank you Islamic State. Now we won’t have to deal with these kafir (non-Muslims) back in America,”the young man wrote in one post in fall 2014 showing a dead American soldier.
He has trained in the woods for an attack with a machete, the account shows.
By June, authorities claim, Mr. Ciccolo had graduated to meeting with an undercover informant and describing his plans to attack two bars and a police station with pressure cooker bombs. He later changed those plans to carrying out a more massive strike on a state university campus in which students were to be executed by guns and explosives while the attacks were being broadcast live across the internet, according to an FBI agent’s affidavit.
The FBI kept Mr. Ciccolo under constant surveillance as he developed his plot, buying a pressure cooker, arranging to buy an arsenal of weapons and carefully constructing “firebombs” to cause the maximum pain to the students, the FBI affidavit says.
Those bombs found “contained what appeared to be shredded Styrofoam soaked in motor oil which CICCOLO told CW-1 (undercover operative) would cause the fire from the exploded devices to stick to people’s skin and make it harder to put the fire out,”the FBI affidavit said.
Mr. Ciccolo’s violent intentions didn’t stop with his arrest, according to court documents that state he stabbed a nurse in the head with a pen after his detention.
He is being held without bail after pleading not guilty to a weapons charge related to the transaction with the undercover operative and an assault charge related to the attack on the nurse. His lawyer has said he is uncertain whether terrorism charges will be added at a later date.
Most Americans went to firework celebrations and picnics on July 4 never knowing of the threat, or the other nine radicalized suspects rounded up in the days before the Independence Day festivities in connection with other terror plots.
With the understanding that we are in the midst of the fog of war, and many early reports may be wrong, here are my initial thoughts on the events in Paris — all subject to change with additional information.
First, a multi-pronged military-style assault on civilian soft targets is exactly the kind of terrorist attack I’ve long feared. Every western capital is vulnerable to attacks like this, and the combination of open borders and thousands of European and American citizens fighting for ISIS renders all of our cities open to assault. This is likely not the last major urban attack, and we may see another soon.
Second, while it is encouraging to see Kurdish progress in Iraq (with considerable American air support) along with seemingly an increased American commitment to fighting ISIS – complete with a modest number of boots on the ground in Syria – this is all too little, too late. ISIS has been allowed not just to live, but to grow. And now it’s demonstrating massive increase in its destructive reach. Within the space of days, it has apparently brought down a civilian airliner, bombed Beirut, and now reportedly launched a multi-pronged urban assault in a western capital. This is what happens when terrorists are allowed safe havens and given free reign to recruit and spread their influence.
Third, Francois Hollande is pledging to wage “pitiless” war. Good. Now let’s see if France backs up its words with actions. While France is often the butt of jokes about its military prowess, it not only has a centuries-old tradition of military valor, it breeds warriors still. May they be unleashed.
Fourth, if European leaders (and the Obama administration) retain a shred of sanity, they’ll rethink their approach to the migrant crisis and start to close their borders, quickly. There are almost certainly more terrorists who have recently arrived in European capitals, awaiting only weapons, organization, and an opportunity to launch the next attack.
Fifth, look for more firefights in Paris as the French police and military likely launch a crackdown orders of magnitude more potent than the crackdown after the Charlie Hebdo attack. If French intelligence services have been monitoring nascent terror cells, look for them to strike hard and fast to forestall any future attacks. For the time being, the gloves will come off.
Finally, my heart breaks for the victims of tonight’s savage attacks. France is our oldest ally, Paris is among the world’s most beautiful cities, and it is horrifying to think that its streets now run red with the blood of the innocent. May God bless and comfort the families of the fallen, and may God strengthen the hands of France’s warriors. It is time to grant ISIS the apocalypse it longs for.
Facing Some Facts

From the Spectatorcomes a translation of the statement from ISIS claiming responsibility for the ‘blessed attack’ on Paris, a statement that promises more to come. Its revolting mix of religious and sexual hysteria (the rock concert attacked by the terrorists was apparently “a profligate prostitution party”…attended by “hundreds of apostates”) makes for profoundly depressing reading.
An extract:
“Youths who divorced the world and went to their enemy seeking to be killed in the cause of Allah, in support of His religion and His Prophet (Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and his charges, and to put the nose of His enemies in the ground.”
Nothing to do with Islam, of course.
The Spectator reprints an updated version ofan article on that awkward topic by Douglas Murray. It should be read in its entirety, but its conclusion reads as follows:
We have spent 15 years pretending things about Islam, a complex religion with competing interpretations. It is true that most Muslims live their lives peacefully. But a sizeable portion (around 15 per cent and more in most surveys) follow a far more radical version. The remainder are sitting on a religion which is, in many of its current forms, a deeply unstable component. That has always been a problem for reformist Muslims. But the results of ongoing mass immigration to the West at the same time as a worldwide return to Islamic literalism means that this is now a problem for all of us. To stand even a chance of dealing with it, we are going to have to wake up to it and acknowledge it for what it is.
And it is a return to a literalismthat, like most religious fundamentalism, is shaped, however much its believers might deny that fact, by the times in which it finds itself. Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Fraser Nelson argues that some of the more grotesque features of ISIS’ barbarism are a consequence of the way that such cruelty can be used, via social media and the Internet, to recruit new followers, something that says much more about human nature than we, let alone our politicians, are prepared to address. Burning people alive is a selling point, think about that.
I don’t agree with everything that Mr. Nelson has to say (I get the sense, perhaps unfairly, that he may be trying to take some of the edge of Islam’s past), but what he has to say about Sarajevo today is, to say the least, striking:
The veil has conquered Sarajevo, for example, a city that could easily have come into the West’s orbit after the collapse of communist Yugoslavia. Not so long ago, there was scarcely a veil to be seen in the whole city. A friend of mine, who was a foreign correspondent during the Bosnian war, came to know a young sniper in Sarajevo and stayed in touch with him. But soon after, he refused to meet her, saying he could not be seen with an unmarried non-Muslim.
In the space of a few years, veils had gone from being unseen in Sarajevo to being commonplace – yet it’s hard to call this “backward” when, for so many Bosnians, this is the way forward. When strategists in Britain and America were congratulating themselves on the “end of history”, their counterparts in Saudi Arabia were funding the construction of mosques, and even paying people who worshipped there. This strategy was a remarkable success, and a visit to Sarajevo now will confound those who imagined that the end of Communist rule would see such countries make their way to try to adapt to our way of life.
Ah yes, the Saudis. Our friends.
Nelson:
It suits us to imagine that history is going our way, and to dismiss the bad guys as an anachronism that is just too evil to survive – and will, therefore, soon be gone. Such a lazy, complacent view of the world allows us to cut back on defense spending in the happy expectation of having fewer problems to solve. But as the Saudis knew in Bosnia, history goes in the direction that people make it go.
And I’m afraid thatin the course of his undeniably well-intentioned remarks yesterday Obama included a classic example of such intellectual complacency:
“This is an attack not just on Paris. It’s an attack not just on the people of France. But this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values we share…”.
Universal values? Really?
Those are the words of a man unwilling to admit (or maybe even to accept) that the world is not as he would like it to be, and, indeed, that humanity is not as he would like it to be. He is a man scrambling for a safe space that does not exist.
Meanwhile in the Financial Times, François Heisbourg writes:
The French will have to sharply ramp up their “too little, too late” efforts at bolstering their security services. The DGSI, the French intelligence agency that is the functional equivalent of Britain’s MI5, was set up less than two years ago and, despite substantial new funding, its financial and human resources are clearly insufficient.
The scale and the complexity of the November 13 attacks, with their multiple targets and modi operandi, speak of a threat level that is rising faster than the state’s ability to cope with it. To make matters worse, survivors have told how they were confronted by French-speaking terrorists rather than outsidersunfamiliar with the areas they were targeting.
There is no quick fix to this threat, but acknowledging its true nature would be a start.

Vice President Joe Biden’s announcement on Wednesday that he would not run for president of the United States made it a foregone conclusion that the media would worship at the shrine of Hillary Clinton during her Benghazi testimony on Thursday.
They have no other choice. The precious must be protected at all costs, which means covering up for her lies, her calculated obfuscations, and her charmless faux-gravity. Already the narrative has been set: Hillary Clinton was a victim of a political Benghazi committee dedicated to her destruction. Every Congressional committee in history has entailed some political motivation—would anyone argue that the Watergate investigations were completely apolitical?—but the media myopically focused on the idiotic comments of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) before Hillary’s testimony, crafting the story of her victimization before it had even taken place.
Hillary, as always, is the poor, put-upon victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy.
She set up a private email server and deleted relevant emails from it for purely political reasons;
she pressed for a pointless invasion of Libya for political reasons,
chortled at its conquest for political reasons,
watched it descend into chaos while doing nothing for political reasons,
and then allowed her ambassador to twist in the Libyan tornado without proper security for political reasons;
finally, she covered up that disaster by lying about its causes for political reasons. But those who ask questions about such matters are partisan politicians.
As Charles Krauthammer rightly observed on Thursday evening, “We’re not going to get the facts, we’re not going to get the real story underlying it. We’re living in an age where what you say and its relation with the facts is completely irrelevant.”
But after 11 hours of lying—which is only slightly longer than the hours Hillary and her boss’ administration did virtually nothing as Americans died under fire in Benghazi—we may as well examine Hillary’s most important lies.
Hillary Cared Deeply About the Human Cost.
Hillary kept claiming that she cared deeply about her good friend Chris Stevens. At one point, she whipped out her pre-planned righteous indignation to complain, “I would imagine I’ve thought more about what happened than all of you put together. I’ve lost more sleep than all of you put together.”This was salt in the wound, the equivalent of Johnny Cochrane lamenting his worries over the fate of Nicole Brown Simpson.
Hillary admitted in her testimony on Thursday that her good friend Chris Stevens did not have her private email address, and that she could recall no conversations with him after he became ambassador to Libya. The night of his death, she wrote an email with the subject line: “Chris Smith,” conflating his death with that of diplomat Sean Smith. She didn’t bother speaking with survivors of the attacks until days later.
As to the notion that Hillary lost sleep, she apparently didn’t the night of the attack—she went home instead of sticking around at the State Department or heading over to the White House, because, she said, she had to prepare for what would be a rough rest of the week. She didn’t talk to then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey. We do know that she spent the night alone, a fact which led her to chortle. Hillary may have lost sleep over her failures later—clearly, she spent some time coming up with lies about a YouTube video.
Hillary Thought The Attacks Had Something to Do With a YouTube Video.
Hillary maintained on Thursday that she believed the attack still had something to do with the YouTube video, “The Innocence of Muslims.” But the night of the attack, she emailed Chelsea Clinton and told her that an al-Qaeda-like group had killed the ambassador.As Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said to Clinton, “You tell the American people one thing. You tell your family an entirely different story.”
In fact, Hillary told the Egyptian Prime Minister the day after the attacks, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack. Not a protest.”Hillary tried to state that she had actually told people that some people were pinning the attack on the video, but she herself pinned the attacks on the YouTube video in videos released in Pakistan. She lied, because it was obvious that she had failed in her central duty to protect her diplomats in the most dangerous part of the world—a part of the world she had made more dangerous with her favorite invasion.
Hillary Didn’t Use Sidney Blumenthal As an Advisor.
Hillary Clinton had reams of email exchanges with hitman Sidney Blumenthal. Blumenthal had been banned from the Obama administration for his corruption and Clintonian loyalties. Hillary said that the emails were unsolicited.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) shot that idiocy down easily: “You wrote to him, ‘Thanks and please keep them coming,’ ‘Greetings from Kabul and thanks for keeping this stuff coming, any other info about it?’ ‘What are you hearing now?’” Hillary then tried to amend her statement by saying they began as unsolicited emails. Hillary used Blumenthal as an advisor, and she routinely corresponded with him. Any implication to the contrary is absolutely false.
Hillary Was Transparent About Her Emails.
Hillary insisted again on Thursday that she’d been fully transparent about her emails. Even the State Department has rejected that nonsense repeatedly.The hearings did provide some perspective into just why Hillary might have deleted 30,000 emails, however, she claimed that her correspondence about Libya, which dropped dramatically from 2011 to 2012, was not because she cared less about the country—it was because she had people shuttling documents to her in suitcases. In fact, she said, she didn’t even have a computer in her office. A State Department email address could have confirmed whether any of that was true. Now we will presumably never know.
Chris Stevens Was Responsible for His Own Death.
The most despicable lie of the day came from Hillary’s defense of her own conduct via ripping Chris Stevens, the dead ambassador. She spent virtually the entire day suggesting that Stevens knew the risks of his job, that he accepted those risks, and that he died knowing those risks. She even said that Stevens “felt comfortable” on the ground. If that is true, it’s certainly odd that the State Department team in Libya asked for more security over 600 times.Hillary said she didn’t receive any of those requests and blamed her security team for not granting more security—all the while saying she took responsibility for what had happened.
Then, the capper: Hillary said that when Stevens wrote an email asking about whether the Benghazi compound would be closed, he was just being a sly jokester. She said, “One of the great attributes that Chris Stevens had was a really good sense of humor, and I just see him smiling as he’s typing this because it’s clearly in response to the email down below talking about picking up a few ‘fire sale items from the Brits.’”When told that those “fire sale items” were security barricades, Hillary answered, “Well, I thought it showed their entrepreneurial spirit.”Disgusting.
Hillary Clinton was largely responsible for a pointless invasion of Libya, which promptly turned into a terrorist-run hellhole. She was responsible for the security of her diplomats in Libya, but she didn’t provide for it. She had no correspondence with those diplomats on the ground but plenty of time for Sidney Blumenthal. When those diplomats and those who ran to help them were killed, she blamed a YouTube video. And finally, she used her jerry-rigged email server to selectively edit the material the public would see.
But don’t worry—Hillary’s the victim. Republicans are the perpetrators. And Chris Stevens is just one more bump in the road on her journey to the White House.

In a speech delivered on Tuesday at the 37th Zionist Congress, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made waves when he discussed the relationship between Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini.
“Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time, he wanted to expel the Jews. And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, ‘If you expel them, they’ll all come here.’ ‘So what should I do with them?’he asked. He said, ‘Burn them.’”
The New York Times headline declared, “Netanyahu Draws Broad Criticism After Saying a Palestinian Inspired Holocaust.”
The Guardian published a piece titled, “Anger at Netanyahu claim Palestinian grand mufti inspired Holocaust.”
Countless other mainstream media outlets followed suit, piling on criticism of Netanyahu.
Many media outlets insisted on referring to Husseini as a Palestinian, despite the fact that the leader of the Arabs in British Mandate Palestine would never have been referred to as a Palestinian because that title was sometimes reserved for the Jews living there. In fact, it was PLO leader and Egyptian-born Yasser Arafat who was widely recognized as one of the first leaders of the Palestinian movement, which began as a result of the Arabs’ defeat in the Arab-Israeli war in 1967.
A member of the PLO Executive Committee admitted as much in a 1977 interview when he said: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.”
Netanyahu later clarified that his greater point was to say that, far before the concept of an Arab-Muslim Palestinian ever existed or before the modern state of Israel was declared, Islamic leaders in the land still sought to eliminate the Jews.
“My intention was not to absolve Hitler of his responsibility,” he later explained. “But rather to show that the forefathers of the Palestinian nation, without a country and without the so-called occupation, without land and without settlements, even then aspired to systematic incitement to exterminate the Jews.”
“Hitler was responsible for the Final Solution to exterminate six million Jews; he made the decision,”a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office added. “It is equally absurd to ignore the role played by the mufti, Haj Amin al -Husseini, a war criminal, for encouraging and urging Hitler.”
The Israeli Prime Minister is speaking of the same Mufti who once said, broadcasting in Arabic from Berlin, “Kill the Jews wherever you find them – this is Allah’s will.”
Whether or not the Mufti actually convinced Hitler to go forward with his plans is a fair topic for debate.
However, the Mufti did support and encourage Hitler in his quest for worldwide Jewish extermination, as proven through historical transcripts provided by the U.S. Holocaust Museum.
In November 1941, the two leaders met in Berlin to discuss the future of the Jewish people living in British Mandate Palestine. Hitler told Husseini that the “struggle against a Jewish homeland in Palestine” would be part of his larger efforts against the Jews. Hitler assured him that when the German army advanced on the Middle East, he would announce to the Arab world that “the hour of liberation is at hand.”Their only goal, Hitler said, “would be the annihilation of Jewry living in Arab space under the protection of British power.”
Moreover, according to the prosecution team during the Nuremberg trials, the Mufti did indeed play a role in facilitating the annihilation of European Jews.
“The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry for the Germans and had been the permanent collaborator and advisor of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of the plan… According to my opinion, the Grand Mufti, who had been in Berlin since 1941, played a role in the decision of the German government to exterminate the European Jews,”an SS officer admitted during the trials.
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, a man who is revered by some as the founding father of the Palestinian movement, was undoubtedly a supporter of the extermination of Jews, an uncomfortable fact that the international pro-Palestinian Left has not addressed in its criticism of Netanyahu.

The blood-soaked executioners of ISIS have spared neither women nor children since the jihadist army established its caliphate a year ago, putting an estimated 74 kids and even more women to death for such offenses as practicing “magic” and refusing to fast during Ramadan. A total of 3,027 people have been executed by ISIS since it declared itself a state under strict Islamic law in Syria and Iraq last June, according to a new report by the UK-based group, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
“Many of the charges against those executed are recorded as blasphemy and spying, but others include sorcery, sodomy, practicing as a Shia Muslim.”

Just this week, two children whose ages were not known were crucifiedin the Mayadin, Deir Ezzor province in eastern Syria after ISIS accused them of not properly fasting during Ramadan. The children’s bodies, put on public display on crossbars, each bore a sign explaining their violation during the holy month for Muslims that runs June 17 to July 17. With each execution justified by ISIS’ medieval interpretation of the Koran, the group is attempting to portray itself as the true practitioners of Islam, say experts.
“Underlying all these executions is the apocalypse ideology of the final battle between the believers and the unbelievers,”said Jasmine Opperman, the director of Southern Africa Operations at the Terrorism, Research & Analysis Consortium. “ISIS is using executions to show its followers — and would-be followers — that the group is the only true representative of believers, not only in word, but action, which is why executions are featured so prominently.”
Other children died fighting for their lives.
“The violent Islamist group appears to demonstrate a particular interest in children, releasing videos of childrenfighting in cages and undertaking military training,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights group said. “The report also details moves undertaken by the group to entice children to join, which include setting up offices called “cubs of the caliphate” that recruit children to fight for ISIS.”
The United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child released a report in February, documenting the many horrors ISIS has imposed on children who are Kurdish, Yazidi, Christian and even Muslim. Children – even those who are mentally challenged – are being tortured, crucified, buried alive, used as suicide bombers and sold as sex slaves,the report said.
“ISIS is hoping to spur current supporters around the world who are dormant, of which there are millions, into joining their caliphate by advertising acts like these, of which there are millions,”said Ryan Mauro, national security analyst for the Clarion Project, a nonprofit organization that educates the public about the threat of Islamic extremism. “They know that they can greatly increase their numbers by appealing to current radicals rather than the broader masses.”
Women are not spared the cruel brutality of ISIS, either.
The Syrian Observatory found that the terror group carried out more executions this week, murdering two married couples by beheading them publicly with a sword for “sorcery.” “The Islamic State group executed two women by beheading them in Deir Ezzor province, and this is the first time the Observatory has documented women being killed by the group in this manner,”Rami Abdel Rahman, of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told the Daily Mail.
Other citizens suspected of practicing black magic or sorcery also have been killed, the organization reports, including a magician beheaded in recent weeks in the Iraqi province of Salahuddin. “The practicing of anything that is not approved by Islamic State under their very strict interpretation of Islam is ‘Haram’ or forbidden,”said Veryan Khan, editorial director for the Florida-based Terrorism, Research & Analysis Consortium. “If the Islamic State thinks that sorcery is real, then black magic would be a threat to them and seen as a danger.”
ISIS stepped up its killing spree this week as it celebrated both Ramadan and its one-year anniversary as a caliphate in Iraq and Syria with three straight days of ruthless public punishments and executions. On June 30, 11 workers from al-Miadin endured live crucifixion and were forced to wear signs saying “70 lashes and to be crucified for 1 day for breaking the fast in Ramadan.”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the most recent killing spree is less than a week, after ISIS released a video of 15 men executed in three terrible ways: Drowned in cages, having their head blown off with explosives and burning them alive in a car hit with a rocket launcher.
Last Friday, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the death of 38 people in Tunisia who were gunned down, and another 27 people who died after a bomb rocked a Shia mosque in Kuwait.
“Islamic State executions are not merely retribution by the state for behavior seen as illegal,” said Khan, noting executions by the Islamic State include everything from burning alive victims, firing squads, beatings and beheadings, to drowning, explosions, and throwing people off of buildings. “The Islamic State uses executions to intimidate and dominate the local population, for diplomatic communiqués to world leaders, for recruitment purposes and to demonstrate the organization is in complete control.”
