Rep. James Comer Predicts Biden’s Autopen Executive Orders Could Be Easily “Thrown Out in Court” (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft – The Gateway Pundit – June 2, 2025

In a jaw-dropping interview on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) laid out a stunning prediction: if evidence proves Joe Biden had no knowledge of the executive orders being signed in his name via autopen, they could be completely invalidated in court.
Comer’s remarks come as the Oversight Committee closes in on five former top Biden aides suspected of orchestrating the use of the autopen—a signature machine that allows presidential documents to be signed without the president’s physical presence or direct involvement… READ MORE

“He has Good Days and Bad Days”: The Journal Exposes the Concerted Effort to Conceal Biden’s Mental Decline

By: Jonathan Turley | December 29, 2024

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2024/12/20/he-has-good-days-and-bad-days-wall-street-journal-exposes-the-concerted-effort-to-conceal-bidens-mental-decline/

In an explosive exposé, the Wall Street Journal has revealed how the mental decline of President Joe Biden was pronounced from the start of his term. However, cabinet members and other Democrats lied to the public about his declining levels of acuity and engagement. That effort succeeded largely with the help of an alliance with the media, which showed little interest in whether the President was actually running the government.

After President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, the solid wall of media and staff shielding his declining mental state collapsed. Even after Special Counsel Robert Hur declined criminal charges against Biden due to his diminished state, Democratic pundits and the press covered for him, claiming that he was sharp and effective. With the debate, the public was able to see what many in the media and the White House had been hiding for years.

After interviewing roughly 50 insiders, the Journal found evidence of a knowing effort to hide Biden’s mental state. For many, Biden’s refusal to leave his home for much of the 2020 campaign was evidence of the insecurity of staff about his ability to engage with reporters. It only got worse during the term as staff virtually tackled anyone trying to ask him a question. Biden was routinely shuffled off stage after reading briefly from a teleprompter.

Behind the scenes, cabinet members reportedly stopped asking for meetings with Biden after staff conveyed that such requests were not welcomed. He held far fewer cabinet meetings and was often considered “down” for any discussions. That included a period during the calamity of the Afghan withdrawal.

One official is quoted as admitting on one occasion in 2021 that Biden “has good days and bad days and today was a bad day so we’re going to address this tomorrow.” That was just after he was elected. Yet, Biden was kept within the protective cocoon of media that did not press the issue and was infamous for ignoring scandals while asking Biden about his choice of ice cream on a given day.

Now, some media outlets are re-positioning on the issue as they prepare to resume hard questioning and investigations in the new Trump Administration . . . after a four-year hiatus. Suddenly, everyone is shocked to learn that Biden was mentally diminished and blaming nameless staff for misleading them.

One exception this week was Chris Cillizza, who served as CNN’s editor-at-large before leaving the network in 2022. On YouTube, Cillizza stated, “As a reporter, I have a confession to make” and admitted “I should have pushed harder earlier for more information about Joe Biden’s mental and physical well-being and any signs of decline.”

Now, everyone likes a redemptive sinner, and I give Cillizza credit for admitting his own failure to pursue the story despite many critics objecting for years over the lack of such inquiries. However, Cillizza only confessed to failing to pursue the story due to a fear of being accused of “age shaming” Biden. The suggestion is that identity politics chilled journalism, not the overwhelming media support for the President and countervailing opposition to Trump.

The “age shaming” excuse is difficult to square with the failure to pursue an array of other scandals during the term from influence peddling to policy debacles. Nevertheless, Cillizza was remarkably frank that he was only able to push on the story after leaving CNN:

“I didn’t really push on it, if I’m being honest. Now, once I left CNN and once it became a little bit clearer to me about Biden’s age, I think I did write pretty regularly and talk pretty regularly about how I wasn’t sure that this guy was up to it. And then obviously, after the June 27 debate, everybody, including me, was writing and talking about it.”

Putting Cillizza’s statement aside, there is a notable effort by some in the media to retroactively resume journalism after years of docile coverage on issues such as Biden’s incapacity.

The belated interest in the story reflects not only the limits of modern journalism but the limits of the 25th Amendment. From the outset, there was concern over Biden’s acuity and stamina within the White House. It was hidden from the public. His cabinet members like DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and others quashed claims of any diminishment with first-hand testimonials about how sharp and impressive the President was in meetings. Vice President Kamala Harris echoed those claims.

The Vice President and the cabinet are essential to the removal process under the 25th Amendment. Section 4 allows the removal of a president. One option is what I have called the mutiny option.” It requires a vice president and a majority of the Cabinet to declare that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” and notify Congress that the vice president intends to take over. If Vice President Kamala Harris could get eight Cabinet officers to go along with a letter to Congress, her status as the “Acting President” would likely be short-lived. Joe Biden would only have to declare to Congress that “no inability exists.” Biden would then resume his powers. That would then trigger a congressional fight.

In reality, the Biden term shows how they can often be part of the cover-up.

The 25th Amendment also does not define incapacity and having “good days and bad days” is unlikely to suffice. As I previously discussed, the issue of “disability” of a president was briefly raised in the Constitutional Convention in 1787.  It was a delegate from Biden’s home state of Delaware who asked how they would respond to a disability, “and who is to be the judge of it?” John Dickinson’s question was left unanswered in the final version of the Constitution.

What followed were persistent controversies over succession. This issue came to a head after President Dwight D. Eisenhower suffered a stroke. After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Congress finally addressed the issue in the 25th Amendment. The amendment addresses the orderly succession of power as well as temporary disabilities when presidents must undergo medical treatment or surgeries. This process is even more unlikely to occur when the media has formed a protective line around a president.

The problem was never “age shaming,” it was a shameless effort to shield this president from tough questions and public exposure.

The Danger of White Knight Pardons: Biden Could Fundamentally Change Presidential Power

By: Jonathan Turley | December 17, 2024

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2024/12/17/the-danger-of-white-knight-pardons-biden-could-fundamentally-change-presidential-power/

Below is my column in the New York Post on the news reports that President Joe Biden is seriously considering preemptive pardons for political allies. In granting what I have called “White Knight pardons,” Biden would achieve more of a political than legal purpose. Democrats are worried about the collapsing narrative that President-elect Donald Trump will destroy democracy, end future elections, and conduct sweeping arrests of everyone from journalists to homosexuals. That narrative, of course, ignores that we have a constitutional system of overlapping protections that has blocked such abuses for over two centuries. Ironically, preemptive pardons would do precisely what Biden suggests that he is deterring: create a dangerous immunity for presidents and their allies in committing criminal abuses.

Here is the column:

There are growing indications that President Joe Biden is about to fundamentally change the use of presidential pardons by granting “prospective” or “preemptive” pardons to political allies. Despite repeated denials of President-elect Donald Trump that he is seeking retaliation against opponents and his statements that he wants “success [to be] my revenge,” Democratic politicians and pundits have called for up to thousands of such pardons.

While there is little threat of any viable prosecution of figures like the members of the January 6th Committee, the use of “White Knight pardons” offers obvious political benefits. After many liberals predicted the imminent collapse of democracy and that opponents would be rounded up in mass by the Trump Administration, they are now contemplating the nightmare that democracy might survive and that there will be no mass arrests.

The next best thing to a convenient collapse of democracy is a claim that Biden’s series of preemptive pardons averted it. It is enough to preserve the narrative in the face of a stable constitutional system . Indeed, Biden’s pardon list has replaced the usual Inauguration Ball lists as the “must-have” item this year. Pardon envy is sweeping over the Beltway as politicians and pundits push to be included on the list of presumptive Trump enemies.

The political stunt will come at a cost. Preemptive pardons could become the norm as presidents pardon whole categories of allies and even themselves to foreclose federal prosecutions. It can quickly become the norm in what I recently wrote about as our “age of rage.”

It will give presidents cover to wipe away any threat of prosecution for friends, donors, and associates. This can include self-pardons issued as implied condemnations of their political opponents. It could easily become the final act of every president to pardon himself and all of the members of his Administration. We would then have an effective immunity rule for outgoing parties in American politics.

Ironically, there is even less need for such preemptive pardons after the Supreme Court recognized that presidents are immune for many decisions made during their presidencies. Likewise, members have robust constitutional protections for their work under Article I, as do journalists and pundits under the Constitution’s First Amendment.

We have gone over two centuries without such blanket immunity. In my book The Indispensable Right, I discuss our periods of violent political strife and widespread arrests. Thomas Jefferson referred to John Adams’s Federalist government as “the reign of the witches.” Yet even presidents in those poisonous times did not do what Joe Biden is now contemplating.

Moreover, presidential pardons have a checkered history, including presidents pardoning family members or political donors. Bill Clinton did both. Not surprisingly, Clinton last week attempted to add his own wife’s name to the sought-after Biden pardon list. He added, however, “I don’t think I should be giving public advice on the pardon power…It’s a very personal thing.”

That is precisely the point. The power was not created to be used for “very personal things,” like pardoning your half-brother and a fugitive Democratic donor on your last day in office. Yet, despite that history, no president has seen fit to go as far as where Biden appears to be heading.

We have a constitutional system that allows for overlapping protections of individuals from abusive prosecutions and convictions. It does not always work as fast as we would want, but it has sustained the oldest and most stable constitutional system in history. These figures would prefer to fundamentally change the use of the pardon power to maintain an apocalyptic narrative that was clearly rejected by the public in this election. If you cannot prove the existence of the widely touted Trump enemies list, a Biden pardon list is the next best thing.

After years of lying to the American people about the influence-peddling scandal and promising not to consider a pardon for his son, Biden would end his legacy with the ultimate dishonesty: converting pardons into virtual party favors.

In doing so, he has ironically lowered the standard and expectations for his successors. Joe Biden has become the president that Richard Nixon only imagined. He would establish with utter clarity that this power is not presidential, but personal and political . . . and many in the Beltway are waiting to give him a standing ovation.

Captain Demento and the Lame Duck Chronicles

A satirical take on Joe Biden’s “leadership” and how it’s left Democrats scrambling

Trump, Kevin Jackson Network, TBS

You ever watch someone try to pass off a cheap knockoff as the real thing?

Like the guy hawking “Rolexes” with ticking second hands? That’s Joe Biden in politics.

He was supposed to be the Left’s ultimate weapon — the 81-million-vote man who would crush Trump like a Coke can. But fast-forward, and Biden is now the flat club soda Democrats found in the back of their fridge.

The Daily Beast wrote:

Disaffected Democrats , including some from within his own administration, are furious with President Joe Biden for shrinking into a political non-entity since his party was walloped in last month’s election , according to multiple reports.

“He’s been so cavalier and selfish about how he approaches the final weeks of the job,” a former White House official told Politico.

The outlet — which spoke to nearly two dozen officials, including current and former White House staffers— reported that, since the Nov. 5 vote, Biden has mostly avoided unscripted events and press questions while neglecting to address policy matters on Capitol Hill and Democratic Party.

Many party officials, Politico reported, no longer even bother to monitor Biden’s daily activities. His interactions with media have been similarly muted: In two weeks of foreign traveling since the election, Biden uttered a mere seven words to the press pack traveling with him, the outlet said.

The president is yet to hold — or schedule — a post-election press conference, something his predecessors George W. Bush and Barack Obama did before leaving office.

“This is one of the lamest of lame ducks we’ve seen with a Democratic administration,” Usamah Andrabi, a spokesman for the progressive Justice Democrats PAC, told the Wall Street Journal . “A massive missed opportunity.”

But let’s not act like this was unpredictable, okay? Democrats handpicked the guy who needed a GPS to find his way off stage. Biden mistook reporters for lawn ornaments and fell asleep in NATO meetings. Now they want him to lead? That’s like handing a drowning man a bowling ball.

And Democrats act surprised? Come on! They spent four years hiding Biden’s mental fumbles behind teleprompters and careful choreography. Now the jig’s up, and they’re mad the Wizard of Delaware turned out to be all curtain, no magic.

Captain Demento Goes AWOL

Now, the question on everyone’s mind: “Where’s Joe?” Democrats wanted Biden to disappear during the campaign, and now they’ve got their wish. In a recent interview, Victor Davis Hanson nailed it. Hansen declared that Donald Trump is stepping in as the de facto president.

Trump visited Paris for the reopening of Notre Dame. While there, Trump arm-wrestled Macron into submission, and Prince Harry proved to be a Trump fanboy. Trump’s out here shaking hands with foreign leaders, fixing global crises, and looking more presidential than the guy who actually lives in the White House. Biden, meanwhile, is probably still trying to figure out which button calls the nurse.

Syria, Ukraine, and That One Time Biden Tried to Blink

As Hanson pointed out in his interview, Assad’s regime is collapsing, Hamas is imploding, and Russia’s war effort is more embarrassing than Biden trying to spell Mika Brzezinski’s last name. Yet here’s Biden, sitting this one out like a college kid with “senioritis.” The man has yet to make a statement about turmoil in the Middle East that has caused a world-shattering vacuum.

Meanwhile, Trump’s strides comfortably back onto the global stage like he’s hosting The Apprentice: Global Edition. And as with all Leftist messes, it will take a Trumpian effort for the “cleanup on aisle 45”.

Democrats knew what they were getting — a man whose elevator stopped going to the top floor around 1988. Three-plus years of feckless leadership culminating with 3 months of no leadership.

Frankly, nobody really misses Biden. However, they still wonder where he is. Thankfully, Trump has stepped in and stepped up. For him, this is business as usual.

Biden Nullifies Crimes in Biggest Day of Clemency to Date

President Joe Biden released a list of 39 pardons and 1,499 commutations of sentences Thursday, setting the record for presidential clemencies in a single day. The White House described the majority of those pardoned as having committed “nonviolent drug offenses.” The list did not go into detail on specific crimes. The pardon list includes Mikhail Zemlyansky, a Long Island, New York, man who committed a $35 million fraud. New York City’s WNBC-TV reported prosecutors called it “the largest single no-fault car insurance fraud scheme ever prosecuted.”

John Paul Garcia’s name also appears on the list. The Las Vegas Optic’s jail log from July 26 reports Garcia was booked into the San Miguel County Detention Center for battery on a household member, despite the White House describing his crime as a “nonviolent offense.”

The full list of pardons and commutations can be found here.

The president is reportedly considering issuing preemptive pardons to President-elect Donald Trump’s political opponents, some of whom could include Dr. Anthony Fauci and former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo.

“America was built on the promise of possibility and second chances,” Biden said in a White House press release.

“As president, I have the great privilege of extending mercy to people who have demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation, restoring opportunity for Americans to participate in daily life and contribute to their communities, and taking steps to remove sentencing disparities for nonviolent offenders, especially those convicted of drug offenses.”

Trump promised he is “going to be acting very quickly” to pardon those imprisoned from the Jan. 6 protests in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Joe Biden on Dec. 1 granted his son, Hunter, a “full and unconditional pardon” for every federal offense that Hunter committed or may have committed from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1 of this year. That reneged on the promise the elder Biden made multiple times that he would not pardon his son.

Biden concluded his statement on Thursday’s clemency list by stating, “My administration will continue reviewing clemency petitions” over the coming weeks. He leaves office on Jan. 20.

Joe Biden Voted the Worst

By: Kevin Jackson | December 11, 2024

Read more at https://theblacksphere.net/2024/12/joe-biden-voted-the-worst/

Would you be shocked to learn that Americans now view Joe Biden as the worst president of the last nine?

Of course, not — unless you’re as disconnected from reality as Biden himself or his dwindling pool of supporters. The idea of “81 million votes” now feels as believable as a fair game of three-card monte on a New York City sidewalk. Biden may have ridden into office on the crest of an alleged “historic mandate,” but history seems to have had the last laugh.

Let’s set the stage for this train wreck. According to an exclusive Daily Mail poll, Biden has managed to plummet past even the least flattering benchmarks of modern presidencies. The voters have spoken, and their verdict is devastating. Biden ranks dead last among the nine most recent presidents. Yes, worse than Nixon, who resigned in disgrace after Watergate. Worse than Jimmy Carter, whose presidency was defined by skyrocketing inflation and the Iran hostage crisis. Worse than every other president you could name—and you’d have to work pretty hard to find another to match this level of public disdain.

Hard to believe why it took so long for Democrats to impose the fatwa on Joe that eventually took him out less than 90 days before his ass-kicking by Trump. Laughably, Biden gets to keep his consolation prize of pretending to believe he beat Trump in 2020.

Here’s the breakdown of the poll:

44% of voters placed Biden in the bottom two, while only a meager 14% saw him as one of the best two. The result? A net score of -30, which buries him below Nixon (-25) and even Donald Trump (-15), who Leftist want to believe is a divisive figure.

James Johnson of J.L. Partners, the group behind the poll, didn’t mince words, calling the results “diabolical.” I’d call them a public performance review so bad it should come with a pink slip.

From 81 Million Votes to Bottom of the Barrel

Remember, Biden’s presidency began with that alleged record-breaking 81.2 million votes, surpassing even Obama (Baby Black Jesus) during his peak popularity? Well, it didn’t take long for the wheels to fall off the Biden express. Voters were told Biden would “heal the soul of America”—a vague slogan that feels as ironic of Biden “bringing decency to the White House”.

Biden’s presidency has been a highlight reel of legislative blunders, geopolitical missteps, and the kind of verbal gaffes that would make even the most forgiving of public speaker’s cringe. Inflation spiraled out of control, the southern border became a sieve, Afghanistan collapsed in a catastrophic withdrawal, and his administration championed economic policies that have left Americans wondering if we’re all trapped in a decades-long rerun of The Jimmy Carter Show.

Lies, Lies, and More Lies

Biden’s downfall isn’t just about bad policies or poor results. It’s about the lies. From tales of his supposed civil rights activism to his fictitious encounters with Amtrak employees, Biden’s fabrications are legendary. His latest scandal—the controversy surrounding his son’s legal troubles—might just be the final nail in his political coffin.

Let’s not mince words: the Hunter Biden saga is the kind of ethical quagmire that would sink any other politician. Biden’s deflection, obfuscation, and refusal to come clean about his role in his son’s legal woes have turned a bad situation into a full-blown debacle. His pardon of Hunter was a move so tone-deaf it would make Nero fiddling while Rome burned look like a masterstroke of PR strategy.

Biden vs. the Big Picture

So, what does this all tell us? Simply put, Biden’s presidency is a cautionary tale of what happens when you ignore merit in favor of narratives. He ascended to office as the “anti-Trump,” a figurehead for unity, empathy, and stability. Instead, we got a leader whose performance has left Americans more divided, anxious, and skeptical of government than ever before. The poll results reflect this deep dissatisfaction, with voters saying, loud and clear, that they’ve had enough.

Clearly, Biden’s legacy will not be one of healing or leadership. Instead, he will likely be remembered as the president who squandered his so-called mandate, mismanaged crises at every turn, and alienated the very people he promised to serve. From legislative failures to moral lapses, Biden has managed to become a punchline in his own tragic comedy.

The bottom line? Biden’s presidency is a masterclass in how far a politician can fall—and how fast. Whether through incompetence, dishonesty, or sheer hubris, Biden has managed to turn “the most votes in history” into the most dismal presidency in recent memory. As for his supporters? Even they must feel like they’ve been left holding a very empty bag.

History will one day move Biden from the worst of 9 presidents to the worst president ever.

Turns Out the Feds Do Have Transcripts of Biden’s Talks with Biographer from Classified Docs Probe

DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—The Department of Justice told a federal judge on Monday that it does have transcripts of President Joe Biden’s discussions with his biographer from the classified documents probe into the president after saying last month that it did not. The DOJ filed a court document in which it says that it found transcripts of taped conversations between Biden and biographer Mark Zwonitzer, with whom Biden shared classified information, as part of an ongoing Freedom of Information Act battle with The Heritage Foundation over access to materials from special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of the president.

DOJ’s disclosure that it does have transcripts of Biden talking with Zwonitzer contradicts its June assertion in court that “we don’t have some transcript that’s been created by the special counsel” and comes the day after Biden decided to quit the 2024 presidential race.

The DOJ discovered “in the past few days” that Hur’s office did have transcripts put together for some of Biden’s talks with Zwonitzer, which occurred while the writer was working on Biden memoirs published in 2007 and 2017, according to Politico. The Justice Department had previously asserted that reviewing dozens of hours of taped conversations for classified material is a far more difficult and time-consuming task than combing through written materials.

“In the past few days … the Department located six electronic files, consisting of a total of 117 pages, that appeared to be verbatim transcripts of a small subset of the Biden-Zwonitzer audio recordings created for the SCO by a court-reporting service,” DOJ Attorney Cameron Silverberg wrote in the Monday court filing.

Silverberg is the same DOJ attorney who said in court on June 18 that “we don’t have some transcript that’s been created by the special counsel that we can attest to its accuracy,” per Politico.

The DOJ has been bombarded by FOIA requests from news outlets and conservative organizations since Hur released his report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents in February, which concluded that the president should not be charged for wrongdoing in part because he would be perceived by a jury as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Subsequently, the DOJ has not released the audio recordings of Biden’s October 2023 interviews with Hur to complement transcripts that have been released publicly and show that the president appeared to forget which years he was vice president and the year in which his eldest son died.

Democrats and Biden allies excoriated Hur and his report, asserting that language about the president’s mental acuity was gratuitous and that Hur was a partisan looking to undermine Biden with about nine months to go until Election Day.

Biden quit the presidential race Sunday following a massive internal pressure campaign from other Democrats who worried that the American public may permanently perceive Biden to be too frail to win an election following his terrible performance at the presidential debate in late June.

The DOJ did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Supreme Folly: The Tragic and Ironic Legacy of President Biden on Court “Limits”

By: Jonathan Turley | July 22, 2024

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2024/07/22/joe-biden-sets-his-final-price-with-offer-to-limit-the-supreme-court/

Below is my Hill column on President Joe Biden shifting his position on the Supreme Court and agreeing to “limits” on the Supreme Court. This ran before President Biden finally consented to withdraw from the race. It makes this last-ditch effort even more tragic for his legacy. He resisted these calls for 50 years, including roughly four years of his presidency. He only succumbed in the final six months as he struggled to save his candidacy. It did not work, but his pledge will outlast his presidency.

As I mentioned in the column, the ploy might not work, and Biden might not make it past the convention. The pledge, however, will remain and now Biden is committed to the ill-conceived legislation. After what I called “succession by defenestration” in yesterday’s column, Vice President Kamala Harris will likely want to show continuity in fulfilling this pledge. Indeed, judging from her past statements, she may double down on pushing for new limits. The irony is that his offer did not close the deal with the party for Biden, but he will now likely seek to fulfill the deal in limiting the Court.

Here is the earlier column (without changes due to the announcement):

This week, President Joe Biden finally named a price. As a growing number of panicked Democrats moved to force him off the ticket before the convention, Biden has offered something that the far left has demanded for years: limiting the Supreme Court. It was another defining moment for Biden, and it was far from complimentary.

Winston Churchill once purportedly asked an English socialite at a dinner if her principles would prevent her from sleeping with him for 5 million pounds. The socialite admitted that it would be hard to turn down such a fortune. Churchill then offered five pounds. When his aghast antagonist asked, “What type of woman do you think I am?” Churchill replied “We’ve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.”

This week, Biden finally stopped haggling and set his price.

According to the Washington Post, the president held a Zoom call with the left-wing Congressional Progressive Caucus, chaired by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D.-Wash.) and co-chaired by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.). He thrilled them by agreeing to “come out with a major initiative on limiting the court.” He added that he was looking to them for support because “I need some help.” Even the New York Times noted the timing as a shift in his position that would appeal to the far left of his party.

It was another reversal for the president prompted by political expediency like his flipping on the filibuster rule and, years ago, on abortion.

In the 2020 election, many of us were highly critical of Biden for refusing to reveal his position on packing the Supreme Court and other so-called reform proposals. It was one of the major issues in the election, but Biden refused to tell voters where he stood to avoid alienating both moderates and the far left. Liberal professors, pundits and politicians, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), continued to demand that the court be packed with an instant liberal majority.

During his administration, Biden sought to appease his base by establishing a commission that explored absurd, radical proposals for changing the court. As many of us predicted, Biden waited years and later admitted that he had no intention to pack the court. He then decided to run for reelection and faced a revolt in his party, including hysteria over his dismal polling numbers.

If those numbers were 10 points higher, the Supreme Court might be safe for another 10 years. However, it is now just another price for power.

In decades of public service, Biden has shown an impressive moral and political flexibility. He has shifted on almost every major issue as polls made his earlier positions unpopular, or when trying to appeal to a larger Democratic constituency. From abortion to gun rights to criminal justice, Biden does not allow principle to stand in the way of politics, and the politics today could not be more dire.

What is most striking about a term limits proposal is that it is completely removed from the substance of the left’s complaints. Ironically, while many believe that President Biden is too enfeebled to serve as president, no one has credibly made that claim about the older justices.

Oral arguments show that members such as Justice Clarence Thomas are active and impressive in questioning counsel in oral argument. One can certainly disagree with Thomas’s jurisprudential views, but there is no basis to question his mental acuity. The irony is crushing. Faced with calls for him to step aside due to his own cognitive decline, Biden is seeking to win reelection by pushing aside justices who are clearly more mentally fit for their own positions.

Term limits would hit conservatives harder than liberals on the court. It is reminiscent of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s transparent and nonsensical 1937 effort to appoint a new justice for any justice who reaches the age of 70 and refuses to resign.

It just so happened that the age rule would negate the elderly “Four Horsemen” who were standing in the way of his New Deal legislation and allow him to instantly pack the court with six new Democratically selected members. When the court suddenly began to approve his programs in what was called “the switch in time that saved nine,” Democrats dropped the scheme.

Biden appears set to try to limit the court through legislation rather than a constitutional amendment since he knows that he could never get an amendment through Congress or the requisite three-quarters of state legislatures. It is not clear whether the new scheme would pass constitutional muster. Ultimately, it would have to be reviewed by . . . you guessed it . . . the Supreme Court.

The Biden legislation will likely be no more consequential than his Supreme Court commission. But it will be a cathartic moment for the far left, and it dangles the prospect of other changes, including court packing, if Democrats can secure both houses of Congress.

Those calls will only increase as advocates call for changing the court “by any means necessary.” We have already seen protesters harass justices at their homes and law professors encouraging the mob to get “more aggressive” in targeting individual justices.

The saddest aspect of this announcement is not what it says about the Supreme Court. The court was designed by the Framers to withstand such attacks. It was designed for this very moment.

The saddest aspect is what it says about a president who is done haggling. With a mutiny building in his party, President Biden is signaling that everything must go in a political Black Friday clearance. The Supreme Court is just the latest political commodity. But Biden has to wonder if this is all worth the prize even if he is able to make it beyond the Democratic National Convention.

Tell us this, Mr. President: When the haggling is over, what will be left of your legacy beyond your final asking price?

‘Stop appeasing dictators’: GOP senators demand Biden impose oil sanctions on Venezuela

FIRST ON FOX: A group of top Senate Republican leaders is urging President Biden to block oil sanctions relief for the Venezuelan government, an authoritarian regime which continues to oppress its opponents. The seven lawmakers, led by Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, sent a letter to the president Friday, calling on him to cancel the so-called General License 44, which is set to come up for renewal later this week. They argued that Venezuela’s government has failed to meet key requirements related to ensuring fair elections that it agreed to when the Biden administration issued the six-month license last year.

“History has proven time and time again that appeasing dictators does not work. We strongly urge you to reinstate and fully enforce all U.S. sanctions on the [Nicolás] Maduro regime,” they wrote. “We must not cede American leverage by lifting U.S. sanctions while the Maduro government deliberately disregards its obligations.”

“If the U.S. fails to take a credible stance on ensuring free and fair elections are held in Venezuela, the prospects of a democratic Venezuela will continue to diminish, which will further embolden authoritarian aggressors such as the People’s Republic of China, Iran, and Russia,” the lawmakers continued.

In October, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro signed an agreement with the nation’s opposition leaders, agreeing to freer elections as part of a deal in which the U.S. Treasury Department eased sanctions on the South American country’s key oil sector. However, the Maduro regime almost immediately began taking actions in apparent violation of the deal, cracking down on the opposition and imprisoning political opponents ahead of Venezuela’s upcoming presidential election slated for July 2024. The State Department said in October it would not renew the General License 44 absent progress by the Venezuelan government.

The October agreement broadly authorized oil and gas transactions with Venezuela and came a year after the Biden administration granted a separate license for California-based energy firm Chevron to continue drilling in Venezuela. According to federal data, U.S. oil imports from Venezuela have spiked from zero barrels in December 2022 to nearly 5 million barrels in January.

In 2019, the Trump administration imposed heavy sanctions on the nation’s oil industry after a dispute arose between Maduro and opposition leader Juan Guaido over the 2018 presidential election. Those sanctions led to a precipitous fall off in U.S. imports of Venezuelan oil.

In a statement on Tuesday to Fox News Digital, Sullivan, who serves as the ranking member on the Senate Armed Services Readiness and Management Support Subcommittee, expressed deep concern with Biden – both potentially for maintaining sanctions relief for Venezuela and recent actions his administration has taken to curb domestic production.

“Joe Biden needs to wake the hell up and stop appeasing dictators and the eco-colonialists – fast,” he said. “The world is on fire and Biden is still focused on appeasing his most far-left radical supporters at the expense of America’s national security.”

Sullivan noted that the Department of the Interior is expected to soon finalize regulations blocking off 13 million acres of land across the National Petroleum Reserve, an area in North Slope Borough, Alaska, set aside by Congress for resource development. Bloomberg reported last week the agency is expected to finalize those rules this week.

“The NPR-A is one of the world’s most prolific oil basins and Biden wants to lock up more than half of it. Literally, during the same week, his administration is expected to renew their lifted oil sanctions for the Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela,” Sullivan said.

“Alaska, more than any other state, has taken the brunt of this administration’s failed energy policy,” he continued. “This rule, once finalized, is on track to be the 61st action by his administration targeting Alaska. Like many others, it ignores the laws on the books and has been done without real consultation of impacted Alaska Native communities.”

Calls placed to The White House were not returned at press time.

Joining Sullivan in penning the letter to Biden were Republican Sens. James Risch of Idaho, John Barrasso of Wyoming, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, Pete Ricketts of Nebraska and Marco Rubio and Rick Scott of Florida.

Kamala Harris warns she ‘may have to take over’ as president and is ready to do so but dismisses concerns about Biden’s decrepitude

Vice President Kamala Harris sent mixed messages this week, dismissing concerns about President Joe Biden’s decrepitude, then stressing she is ready to take over should the need arise. In what turned out to be a controversial move, Harris ended up warming Biden’s seat at the annual Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the president’s absence was seen by some foreign dignitaries as an untimely snub and by critics as yet another signal that he is no longer up to the task of leading the world’s greatest superpower.

CNBC alternatively characterized the 80-year-old’s substitution by Harris at the three-day summit, which ended Thursday, as an opportunity for her to “burnish her foreign policy credentials.”

During her time in Jakarta, Harris fielded two sets of similar questions from Associated Press reporter Chris Megerian and CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan concerning the Democratic president’s advanced age and her willingness to replace him behind the Resolute desk.

Megerian asked Harris, “Questions about the president’s age often go hand in hand with questions about how you would step in the role if necessary. Do you feel prepared for that possibility? Has serving as vice president prepared you for that job?”

The New York Post reported the 58-year-old answered in the affirmative, adding, “First of all, let’s — I’m answering your hypothetical, but Joe Biden is going to be fine. So that is not going to come to fruition.”

With a great deal riding on the next presidential election, just over one year away, and Biden’s 81st birthday fast approaching, prospective voters don’t share Harris’ confidence. A recent Wall Street Journal poll found that 73% of voters figure that Biden, already surpassing the average American life expectancy by several years, is too old to seek a second term. Two-thirds of Democrats indicated they felt the same way.

TheBlaze previously reported the results of a recent Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll that found a staggering 69% of Democratic voters and 77% of American adults overall believe Biden is “too old” to “effectively serve another 4-year term as president.”

Biden hasn’t exactly inspired confidence in his capacity to stand, let alone lead, repeatedly falling in public, routinely flubbing speeches, and admitting in October to the host of MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” that he “could drop dead tomorrow.”

Harris further explained to Megerian, “But let us also understand that every vice president — every vice president — understands that when they take the oath, that they must be very clear about the responsibility they may have to take over the job of being president. I am no different.”

Harris, whose unlikability has already proven to be a major concern for the White House, reiterated in her interview with Brennan that Biden “is going to be fine,” but that she would take over “if necessary.”

Necessity might make Harris president, but most voters might wish it hadn’t. According to the latest Economist/YouGov Poll, 57% of likely voters hold an unfavorable view of Harris. Of those who with an unfavorable view, 43% felt strongly. While nearly tied with Biden in terms of unfavorability, Kamala Harris has managed to score five fewer points in terms of favorability than the 80-year-old. This is quite an accomplishment in light of Biden’s many recent PR disasters.

After all, extra to his handling of the economy, the border, classified documents, and America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden recently likened the deadly inferno that claimed hundreds of lives in Maui to a kitchen fire; has taken over 365 vacation days since taking office in January 2021; bailed on a Medal of Honor ceremony before its completion; and has a son with whom he was allegedly involved in suspicious foreign business deals now about to be hit with felony charges.

Despite Harris’ unpopularity with the American people, even relative to Biden, California Gov. Gavin Newsom emphasized this week that she is “naturally the one lined up” to succeed Biden.

Not just cocaine: Secret Service reveals another banned substance was found in Biden’s White House

‘And it just poses the question: What kind of people is Joe Biden bringing into the White House?’ Boebert added

The Secret Service found marijuana twice in the White House in 2022, long before cocaine was located in the West Wing. The Secret Service revealed the information to members of Congress during a classified briefing on the investigation into cocaine found in the West Wing over the Fourth of July weekend and confirmed the pot discoveries to Fox News Digital.

Possessing less than two ounces of marijuana is not a crime in Washington, D.C., but the substance is still not allowed on federal property — including the White House. A spokesperson for the Secret Service told Fox News Digital that agents had found “small amounts of marijuana” on two separate occasions, in July and September of last year.

SECRET SERVICE CLOSES WHITE HOUSE COCAINE INVESTIGATION, SAYS IT IS ‘NOT ABLE’ TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., caught up with Fox News Digital after attending the Secret Service’s classified briefing into the cocaine found at the White House over the Fourth of July weekend. (Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images)

“No one was arrested in these incidents, because the weight of the marijuana confiscated did not meet the legal threshold for federal charges or D.C. misdemeanor criminal charges, as the District of Columbia had decriminalized possession,” the Secret Service spokesperson said. “The marijuana was collected by officers and destroyed.”

The spokesperson told Fox News Digital that agents had found “less than .2 ounces of marijuana in both instances” and noted D.C.’s marijuana decriminalization. The Secret Service did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s follow-up questions, including on whether U.S. law prohibits illicit substances on federal property.

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., told Fox News Digital following the classified briefing that the area where cocaine had been found over the 4th of July weekend “should have had video surveillance,” especially since marijuana had been found twice in 2022 “on the White House property” under President Biden’s watch.

The Colorado Republican also told Fox News Digital that, during the briefing, she had inquired about specific security measures in place for the lockers where the cocaine was found. Boebert said the Secret Service had admitted that the key to the locker in question “is missing.” (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin, File)

“This probably is an area that should have had video surveillance, especially since this is not the first time that drugs have been found on the White House property since Biden has taken office,” she said.

“There should have been implementations made to ensure security at the White House already before this cocaine appeared,” Boebert said. It was not immediately clear where the marijuana had been located on White House grounds.

Boebert also said, “We did not have scandals when President Trump was in office to this degree.”

“And it just poses the question: What kind of people is Joe Biden bringing into the White House?” she added.

The Colorado Republican also told Fox News Digital that, during the briefing, she had inquired about specific security measures in place for the lockers where the cocaine had been found. Boebert said the Secret Service had admitted that the key to the locker in question “is missing.”

“There are 182 lockers in that foyer and currently … locker number 50 where the cocaine was found, that key is missing,” she said. “There were more than 500 people who went through the West Wing during the weekend of when this substance was found, when the cocaine was found in the White House, and none of those people who have come through are classified as suspects.”

“We do not know how many were tourists, individual citizens, or staffers, and they currently are not looking any further into those more than 500 people who entered that foyer of the West Wing during that weekend,” she said. “Instead, they are quickly wanting to close this investigation and move on to the next Biden crime crisis.”

Boebert also told Fox News that she had learned that “there are no logs of the lockers. There’s no video surveillance of the lockers.”

Boebert told Fox News Digital that the area the cocaine was found in “should have had video surveillance,” especially since marijuana was found twice in 2022 “on the White House property” under President Biden’s watch. (Joe Biden for President)

“The only thing that the Secret Service did was conduct background searches for past drug use or conviction of the over 500 individuals that came through that weekend,” Boebert said. “They did not go further back in time, nor did their investigation produce any results to flag an individual person.”

She added, “I believe that every staffer who went into the White House that weekend… should be drug tested.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., defended the Secret Service, saying that testing hundreds of potential suspects for drugs would be “a massively disproportionate and overblown response that would violate people’s civil liberties.”

“I mean, if there were small amounts of marijuana or cocaine found somewhere in the Capitol Complex, we would not want to drug test everybody who works here,” he said.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy Op-ed: On Biden’s watch, Lady Justice has been weaponized. But Merrick Garland can’t do this one thing

When a prosecutor wants to protect the boss’ son more than the country, we’ve got a problem.

Outside the Supreme Court building in our nation’s capital, Lady Justice is depicted blindfolded holding a scale that’s in balance because in principle justice is both “blind” and “equal.” But under President Biden, Justice is neither.

Evidence continues to mount that the Biden Justice Department enforces the law unequally by tilting the scales to favor friends and family while unleashing the FBI and prosecutors on President Biden’s political opponent. This is a perversion of the founding principles of our Republic and a violation of the constitutional guarantee of equal protection under the law.

The good news is that Americans are now learning about these abuses of power because House Republicans are uncovering the weaponization of our government, especially at President Biden’s Department of Justice

SPEAKER MCCARTHY PRESSED ON POTENTIAL IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS AFTER RELEASE OF ALLEGED HUNTER BIDEN MESSAGE

Republicans have been in the majority for six months. Yet even before then, we began investigating possible corruption by the Biden family. Those investigations continue today, as our committees work together to gather testimony, investigate misconduct, and uncover the truth, despite attempts by the media and the Biden administration to downplay and disrupt these efforts.

Video

Leading the charge are Chairman Jim Jordan of the Judiciary Committee, Chairman James Comer of the Oversight Committee, and Chairman Jason Smith of the Ways and Means Committee.

Here’s what we know so far:

After a five-year investigation, the president’s son received a sweetheart deal from his father’s DOJ in which Hunter Biden was allowed to plea down to misdemeanor tax charges and would not face any charges for money laundering or working as an unregistered lobbyist.

Attorney General Merrick Garland insists that David Weiss, the Delaware U.S. Attorney in charge of the Hunter Biden probe, has not faced any interference from the Department of Justice, telling Congress under oath that Weiss “has full authority to … bring cases in other districts if he needs to do that.” But compelling evidence from whistleblowers refute Garland’s version of events.

HUNTER BIDEN’S ATTORNEY SLAMS IRS WHISTLEBLOWER’S ‘ILLEGAL’ RELEASE OF WHATSAPP MESSAGE TO CHINESE BUSINESSMAN

The Ways and Means Committee learned that Weiss sought to bring charges in two other districts and was denied both times. They also learned that Weiss reportedly sought and was refused special counsel status, telling a room full of IRS and FBI officials, “I am not the deciding person on whether charges are filed.” IRS agent Gary Shapley, who was present at the meeting, memorialized these comments in an email at the time.

Video

Political interference from the Biden administration also prevented investigators from taking basic steps that they would have in other tax evasion cases.   For example, Garland’s DOJ allowed the statute of limitations to run out on Hunter Biden’s tax evasion on payments from Ukrainian energy firm Burisma when his father was President Obama’s lead on Ukraine while Vice President of the United States. As Shapley said, “the purposeful exclusion of the 2014 and 2015 years sanitized the most substantive criminal conduct and concealed material facts.”

And when investigators uncovered a WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to an executive at a Chinese energy firm in which Biden said, “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled”, prosecutors refused to authorize search warrants of the Delaware home or obtain location data to confirm the location of Joe Biden.

DOJ BRIEFED HUNTER BIDEN TEAM ON JOE BIDEN ALLEGATIONS, BUT EXCLUDED IRS AGENTS: GRASSLEY

In fact, according to the whistleblower, one of the prosecutors admitted there was “more than enough probable cause for a physical search warrant” of President Biden’s home and “a lot of evidence in our investigation would be found in the guest house of former Vice President Biden.” Yet the search warrants were never approved because of “optics.”

Video

Shapley stated clearly what this meant for his team: “I would say that they limited certain investigation leads that could have potentially provided information on the President of the United States.”

A prosecutor allegedly even tipped off Hunter Biden’s lawyers that the IRS had probable cause to search Hunter’s storage unit, a clear violation of the unbiased and independent role DOJ has to investigate allegations of wrongdoing.  Additionally, Shapely testified that while there was probable cause for a search warrant, no warrant was obtained and no search was conducted.

After slow-walking this investigation for five years, the DOJ turned what the whistleblower described as a “slam dunk” felony case against Hunter Biden into a sweetheart plea deal and possibly buried evidence of crimes that have sent other Americans to prison. When a prosecutor shields his boss’s son from investigators, it smells like a coverup. Garland’s DOJ did not aggressively follow the money. Why? Are they afraid of where that trail ends?

Recently, Weiss sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee disputing that his charging authority was limited. He later claimed he had not requested special counsel designation from Garland but admitted he had some discussions about obtaining authority to file charges in a district outside of Delaware. What Weiss and DOJ have failed to answer is why Weiss told a room full of IRS and FBI officials, “I am not the deciding person on whether charges are filed.”

Clearly, someone is not telling the truth, and Congress has a duty to get answers. To get all the facts, Weiss and others must testify before Congress, cooperate fully, and provide full access to their records.

David Weiss

The United States needs an attorney general who defends equal justice under the law rather than engaging in a political, partisan agenda. Attorney General Garland took an oath to uphold the Constitution and faithfully discharge the duties of his office. If the whistleblowers’ allegations are true, it raises serious concerns that Garland lied to Congress under oath.

Our committees will continue to gather evidence and conduct oversight, and we will follow the facts wherever they lead. Nothing will stop us from getting to the truth for the American people.

If warranted by the facts, the entire House could decide whether a formal impeachment inquiry is necessary. At the conclusion of a serious, thorough and fair inquiry, the Judiciary Committee would decide whether to refer any articles of impeachment to the full House for an impeachment vote. Given the gravity of this constitutional remedy, House Republicans will ensure that any inquiry would be conducted in a transparent and public manner, without the partisan missteps of prior impeachments.

There are serious questions about the credibility of the Department of Justice. It is our responsibility to hold them accountable.

‘The stakes are very high’: John Kirby doubles down on Biden’s ‘Armageddon’ comments

By Anugrah Kumar, Christian Post Contributor | October 10, 2022

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said President Joe Biden’s recent remark regarding the “prospect of Armageddon” over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threats reflects “the very high stakes that are in play right now.”

ABC “This Week” host Martha Raddatz asked Kirby about Biden’s comment last week that there’s a potential nuclear Armageddon.

Kirby responded, “The president was reflecting the very high stakes that are in play right now.”

He continued: “When you have modern nuclear power and the leader of that modern nuclear power willing to use irresponsible rhetoric the way that Mr. Putin has several times in just the last week or two, as well as the high tension in Ukraine over just the course of the last few days … so the president, I think, was accurately reflecting the fact that the stakes are very high right now.”

Kirby then clarified that Biden’s comments were “not based on new or fresh intelligence or new indications that Mr. Putin has made a decision to use nuclear weapons and, quite frankly, we don’t have any indication that he has made that kind of decision.”

But he added, “Nor have we seen anything that would give us pause to reconsider our own strategic nuclear posture in our efforts to defend our own national security interests and those of our allies and partners.”

Kirby said the president has also said, “neither we nor our allies are going to be intimidated by this.”

At a Democratic fundraiser in New York City last Thursday, Biden said Putin was “not joking when he talks about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons.”

“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” he added, according to The Associated Press, which noted that the president’s remarks were the starkest warnings yet by the U.S. government about the nuclear stakes.

Biden also suggested the threat from Putin is real “because his military is — you might say — significantly underperforming.”

Last month, Putin said, “I want to remind you that our country also has various means of destruction … and when the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, to protect Russia and our people, we will certainly use all the means at our disposal. It’s not a bluff,” as quoted by the AP.

As the Russian invasion entered its seventh month in October, Ukraine sought an accelerated membership in NATO after Putin announced the annexation of four Ukrainian provinces: the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Putin claimed that residents in the annexed Ukrainian regions voted in a referendum to join his nation. Ukrainian officials called the voting coerced by Russian soldiers.

“The Kremlin’s sham referenda are a futile effort to mask what amounts to a further attempt at a land grab in Ukraine,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement at the time. “To be clear: the results were orchestrated in Moscow and do not reflect the will of the people of Ukraine.”

The U.S. has sent more than $9.8 billion in civilian and military assistance to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion began in February. Late last month, Biden signed a bill that includes an additional $12.3 billion for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia. Apart from Ukraine aid and funding for government agencies, the bill authorizes Biden to direct the drawdown of up to $3.7 billion for the transfer of excess weapons to Ukraine from U.S. stocks.

According to the United Nations Office for High Commissioner for Human Rights, as of Oct. 2, at least 6,114 civilians have been killed and 9,132 injured since the invasion started on Feb. 24.

Daniel Horowitz Op-ed: What is the conservative plan to deal with Biden’s Fourth Reich?

Daniel Horowitz | September 06, 2022

Read more at https://www.conservativereview.com/horowitz-conservative-plan-biden-fourth-reich-2658150640.html/

The time has come for a coalition of governors, attorneys general, and state legislators to demonstrate the power of broad-based federalism to interpose against extreme federal tyranny.

Many conservative commentators have finally woken up to smell the stench of the Fourth Reich following Biden’s speech targeting political opposition, reminiscent of the authoritarian language of past dictators. However, they should have been awake since March 2020, when our government declared de facto martial law on our lives, liberty, and property and used our bodies as lab rats with an ever-growing list of experimental therapies. They should have awoken from their slumber after Americans were targeted with solitary confinement and disproportionate punishment for zero or nebulous crimes at the Capitol on January 6, after months of killing, rioting, and looting by BLM with impunity.

If Biden’s speech is really to be a turning point in this one-sided cold war that is heating up, conservatives should resolve to use the power they already wield over Republican governors and demand united action for states to protect constitutional rights from this thuggish Biden administration and national security deep state apparatus that threatens our liberties more than any foreign enemy in our history. Rather than making idle promises of winning back the House with RINOs or winning back the presidency years from now when it’s too late, we should be demanding action now from 20 or so GOP trifecta-controlled state governments. If they fail to take action now, then the entire point of federal elections with divided government is moot.

What would a coalition of federalism look like? A group of prominent governors, attorneys general, and state legislative speakers and majority leaders would initiate a declaration in one state – let’s call it the “Miami Declaration,” for example. The declaration would lay out a list of grievances and examples of the federal government violating the rights of the individual: from medical freedom and bodily autonomy to privacy infringement, collusion with big tech against First Amendment rights, and using federal agencies to persecute political opponents. The declaration would pronounce these states to be constitutional sanctuaries that protect all constitutional rights, including against the federal government. Here are just a few ideas that should be contained in the declaration:

  • Criminalize the enforcement of any federal COVID mandate – whether by a federal, state, or private actor – within the boundaries of the states. This would include so-called federal lands within the state.
  • Block federal agents from entering the states to target political opposition.
  • Order all education and health care institutions within the state to stop complying with recent edicts on transgenderism or COVID with the threat of severe fines.
  • Block the distribution of any new vaccines that have not been properly studied.
  • Create a commission to study who is responsible for the COVID response and the botched therapeutics, along with an audit of what other therapeutics are in the pipeline that violate bioethical norms.
  • Nullify onerous federal regulations on energy and mineral exploration and production within the coalition of states so that states can begin protecting their residents from the coming nuclear winter on energy use.
  • Impose severe penalties on tech companies that censor political opponents of the regime until they come clean on the scope of collaboration with the federal government against these individuals.
  • Provide legal and financial backing to those political dissidents being targeted by the federal government primarily for their political views.
  • Suspend all training and cooperation between state and local law enforcement and the federal alphabet soup agencies.

Even if Republicans refuse to block funding for the vaccines, Paxlovid, and Ukraine – most likely because they agree with Democrats on those issues – they should at least withhold support until the extra funding for the IRS is kept out of the bill. Fighting overzealous taxation, especially when it is politically targeted, was always a universal value of the Republican Party. The IRS waited until Friday afternoon before the holiday weekend to admit that information from 120,000 form 990-T filers was inadvertently posted online due to “a human coding error.” These means the names, contact information, and financial information of about 120,000 people who have IRAs in non-security assets were breached. Does anyone really trust that the IRS is telling us the whole truth?

From now until the election, Republicans will seek to distract us with flaccid promises of deliverance in the future. The best way to verify their sincerity is by demanding that they actually use the power they currently hold to counter deeply destructive and unpopular policies from this regime.

Biden says Trump, MAGA movement ‘threatens the very foundations of our republic’

With two months to go until the midterm elections, President Joe Biden has declared that former President Donald Trump and many of his supporters are a threat to “the very foundations of our republic” in a speech that critics derided as an attack on American citizens.

In a speech Thursday evening at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Biden noted that the venue served as the location where “the United States Constitution was written and debated.” He noted that “this is where we set in motion the most extraordinary experiment of self-government the world has ever known,” creating a society based on “equality and democracy.”

Warning that “equality and democracy are under assault,” Biden declared that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” The term “MAGA” refers to Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”

“Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans,” he clarified.  “Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology.”

“I know because I’ve been able to work with these mainstream Republicans,” Biden continued. “But there’s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law.  They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election.”

Biden warned that “MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.” This portion of the speech indirectly refers to the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 24 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which ruled that the U.S. Constitution did not contain a right to abortion and thereby reversed the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion nationwide.

While the Dobbs decision itself outraged Democrats and pro-abortion activists, critics of the ruling also expressed concern about Justice Clarence Thomas’ concurring opinion in Dobbs describing the doctrine of substantive due process that underpinned the Roe decision as “demonstrably erroneous” and suggesting that the court should “reconsider” all rulings based on that principle. He specifically mentioned the rulings declaring rights to same-sex marriage and contraception as constitutional rights.

While Thomas expressed an openness to examine “whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated,” Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives passed measures to codify the rights to same-sex marriage and contraception into federal law. The bills still await action in the U.S. Senate.

Biden continued his speech by contending that Trump and “MAGA Republicans” support “authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.” According to Biden, “They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on Jan. 6th — brutally attacking law enforcement — not as insurrectionists who placed a dagger to the throat of our democracy, but they look at them as patriots.”

Biden argued that the “soul of America is defined by the sacred proposition that all are created equal in the image of God” and that “all are entitled to be treated with decency, dignity, and respect.” He also urged people to “vote, vote, vote” in the upcoming midterm elections, stressing that “we need everyone to do their part.”

Additionally, the president suggested that “if we do our duty in 2022 and beyond, then ages still to come will say we — all of us here — we kept the faith” and “preserved democracy.” The implication was that voting for Democrats in the midterms was necessary to preserve democracy.

“We just need to remember who we are.  We are the United States of America.  The United States of America,” he concluded. “May God protect our nation.  And may God protect all those who stand watch over our democracy.  God bless you all.”

The speech received much criticism from conservative commentators and Republican politicians, among them Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

“Angry man smears half of the people of the country he is supposed to lead & promised to unite,” tweeted Rubio, getting nearly 13,000 likes by Friday morning.

Kathryn Jean Lopez of National Review objected to Biden’s inclusion of abortion opponents in his definition of MAGA Republicans, viewing it as pandering to pro-choice groups.

“If the president actually wanted to unite, he wouldn’t have attacked Americans who believe abortion is the civil-rights issue of our lives. He wouldn’t have mentioned contraception (no one is taking it away — it’s a scare tactic, and it’s a cynical, underhanded attack on the likes of the Little Sisters of the Poor, on conscience rights),” wrote Lopez.’

“I could have agreed with much that he said — about the election results, about division and anger and violence — if he hadn’t made sure to make Planned Parenthood happy during the speech. They are purveyors of violence and ought to be renamed UnParenthood.”

Franklin Graham, the president of the Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, also condemned Biden’s speech in a lengthy Facebook post: “Tonight President Biden said that MAGA threatens the very foundation of our republic. Really? I want to see America great again. I want to see America as a leader, as a place for people who desire liberty and justice for all. I don’t want to see this country turned into a socialist country.”

“Does believing in freedom, justice, opportunity, less taxes, and smaller government make me an extremist? Absolutely not. The ones who are extremists are the ones who want to take that away from us!” he added. “President Biden is trying to vilify and demean conservative, freedom-loving Americans who do not support the failing and economically unsound policies of his administration. This is just further dividing our nation.”

Graham insisted that “America can only have true greatness through God,” adding “The blessings of this nation have come from the hand of God.” He maintained that “We need to turn to Him” because “We need His help, His direction, and His healing.”

Criticism of the speech extended beyond political opponents of the president. Brianna Keilar of CNN took issue with the optics of the Biden speech, specifically that he had U.S. Marines behind him as he spoke.

“Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it,” she tweeted.

Biden’s speech in Philadelphia came 68 days before the 2022 midterm elections that will determine control of the U.S. Congress for the next two years. The president’s approval rating has been consistently underwater over the past year, although it has rose slightly in recent weeks. As of Friday morning, the RealClearPolitics average of polls measuring presidential approval showed that 42.0% of Americans approve of Bidens job performance compared to 54.8% who disapprove.

Since presidential approval often plays an outsized role in determining the outcome of midterm elections, political observers have expected Republicans to do well in the upcoming midterms. The FiveThirtyEight Deluxe Model, which predicts the outcome of elections based on “polls, fundraising, past voting patterns” as well as experts political analysis gives Republicans a 75% chance of taking control of the U.S. House of Representatives while giving Democrats a 68% chance of keeping control of the U.S. Senate as of Friday morning.

All 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives are on the ballot this year along with 35 of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate. Democrats currently have a narrow majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and a 50-50 majority in the U.S. Senate, with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote in favor of the Democrats.

Over the past several months, Republicans have consistently maintained a narrow lead on the generic ballot, which asks voters which party they would like to control Congress. However, the generic ballot has tightened over the summer and the RealClearPolitics average of polls asking voters for their preferences in the midterms shows Democrats with an extremely narrow 0.1% lead as of Friday morning.

‘How are you, baby?’ Biden’s wandering speech takes a CREEPY turn when he notices 9-year-old in audience

President Joe Biden set off more than a few perv-o-meter alarms on Tuesday when he suddenly stopped in the middle of a speech about America being “safer” to make creepy comments to a 9-year-old (presumably a little girl) in the audience.

At an event in Pennsylvania, the president, who once promised to bring America together, unite our people, and unite our nation, prattled on aimlessly about “MAGA Republicans” and the never-ending horrors of the January 6 “insurrection.”

He taunted “brave right-wing Americans” who believe guns are an important deterrent against government overreach.

He claimed “the Mexicans” have “real problems” with “gun trafficking across the southern border, into Mexico.”

He told the most hilarious joke (you’ve heard a thousand times before) and a few complete whoppers that were almost as funny as his complete lack of knowledge about guns and ammunition, as Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere discussed on “The Glenn Beck Program” Wednesday.

President Biden even shared a bizarre, meandering story about … well, we’re not sure what it was about, but it sounded pretty darn racist.

But the creepiest moment of the whole insufferable event came when the president suddenly stopped his super unifying speech to ask a child in the audience, “How are you, baby? How old are you? How old are you? … almost double figures!”

So creepy indeed!

Far-Left CNN’s Fact Checkers Call Biden’s Claims of Personally Reducing the Deficit ‘Almost A Bizarro World’

Reported By Michael Robison | Published June 15, 2022

Fact Checkers from the far-left media giant CNN have now pushed back on claims made by President Biden last month in which he said, “I reduced the federal deficit.”

In a speech last month, Biden repeated the claims of personally reducing the national deficit. “Let me remind you again: I reduced the federal deficit,” Biden said.

“All the talk about the deficit from my Republican friends, I love it. I’ve reduced it to $350 billion in my first year in office. And we’re on track to reduce it, by the end of September, by another 1 trillion, 500 billion dollars, the largest drop ever.”

CNN noted in their fact-checking article that the deficit did go down during the 2021 fiscal year. But, they pointed out that the decline was far less than expected. According to CNN, economic experts say Biden is “distorting reality when he claims that he is personally responsible for the deficit going down.” Despite the drop in the national deficit, the reduction would have been more significant if the Biden administration had continued with laws put in place when Trump left office.

Dan White, senior director at Moody’s Analytics, said, “The actions of the administration and Congress have undoubtedly resulted in higher deficits, not smaller ones.”

“It is encouraging that the administration has proposed some initiatives to bring down the deficit, but so far, none of those initiatives has been seriously considered,” he continued.

The Congressional Budget Office stated that the deficit decline should have been more than $870 billion instead of the $360 billion the Biden administration saw during the fiscal year 2021. By the way, Biden was only in office for eight of those months for 12 fiscal months.

Some of the lack of results can be blamed on the massive $1.9 triliion pandemic relief package passed in the early days of the Biden administration.

Senior vice president at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget Marc Goldwin told CNN that Biden’s claims of personally reducing the national deficit are “almost a bizarro world,” referring to the Superman comic book world where everything is backward.

With Around $20 Billion in Aid to Ukraine – How Much Was Provided to Ukraine and How Much Went to “The Big Guy”?

Reported By Joe Hoft | Published April 18, 2022

Read more at https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/04/around-20-billion-aid-ukraine-much-provided-much-went-big-guy/

This is what happens when corrupt politicians steal the White House.  The American people have no idea who is running the show behind the scenes of the Biden regime.  Americans know that the Bidens were involved in Ukraine in financial deals in the past so does this still continue?

We know that Hunter Biden was on the Board of a Ukrainian company along with his friend connected to John Kerry.   They made millions being on the Burisma Board despite knowing nothing about oil and gas.  They did not even speak the native Ukrainian language.  When a local prosecutor began looking into Hunter’s arrangement, Joe Biden had the prosecutor removed and fired.  Then he bragged about it later in front of an audience.

Well “son of a bitch”, now Biden is back in the business of sending billions to Ukraine.  After his previous corruption in the country, how can any American trust that the dollars Biden is awarding to Ukraine will ever get there?  This is a serious question.

In March, Biden and Congress arranged for nearly $16 billion for Ukraine.  This was at first $10 billion along with an additional $6 billion.  We have no idea if this ever made it over there or not.

Now there are reports that Biden has provided another $3 billion to Ukraine.  This is reportedly in military aid.

Vowing to “stand with Ukraine,” President Joe Biden and his administration have committed nearly $2.6 billion in U.S. military aid to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion Feb. 24, supplying a range of weapons for Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression.

The latest round, $800 million, was authorized Wednesday. Since August, nearly $2.8 billion has been specifically allocated for military assistance, but the White House said the total amount of aid is closer to $3.2 billion since Biden took office. That would include money from a $13.6 budget bill Biden signed in March that contained money to arm Ukrainians.

There’s also been indirect assistance to allies such as a Patriot missile system the United States repositioned to Slovakia after its government agreed to supply an S-300 air defense system to Ukraine.

“We won’t be able to advertise every piece of security we give because our allies and partners are supplying to Ukraine through us,” Biden said last week, “but advanced weapons and ammunition are flowing in every single day.”

Based on the numbers reported to date there is somewhere near $20 billion going to Ukraine from Joe Biden.  But does anyone really trust the Bidens enough to believe this money will make its way to Ukraine?  Or is there another 10% going to the big guy?

Three US Intel Officials Tell NBC News That the “Intelligence” Biden Released on Russia/Ukraine Was Made Up (VIDEO)

NBC News on Wednesday evening casually admitted that the “intelligence” Biden released claiming Russia was planning a false flag operation as a pretext to invade Ukraine was totally made up. There were also claims of chemical weapons or Russia asking China for help. Apparently it was all made up.

NBC’s Ken Dilanian, one of the Biden Regime’s most loyal stenographers, tried his best to spin this in a positive light.

“It doesn’t have to be solid intelligence when we talk about it. It’s more important to get out ahead of them – Putin specifically – before they do something. It’s preventative,a US intel official told NBC News.

Truly unbelievable.

VIDEO:

Recall, Associated Press reporter Matt Lee called out State Department spokesman Ned Price over claims Russia was planning a false flag operation in order to invade neighboring Ukraine. In February the Biden State Department claimed there was intel indicating Russia was going to use crisis actors to carry out a false flag event before invading Ukraine – but AP reporter Matt Lee wasn’t buying any of it and ripped into the Department’s spokesman.

“We have information indicating that Russia has also already prepositioned a group of operatives to conduct a false flag operation in eastern Ukraine – so that, is an action that Russia has already taken,” State Department spox Ned Price said to AP’s Matt Lee.

Matt Lee wasn’t buying it and accused the State Department of fabricating evidence.

“You have shown no evidence to confirm that…I mean this is like crisis actors? Really? This is like Alex Jones territory you’re getting into,” Matt Lee said.

San Francisco Federal Reserve undercuts Biden’s narrative on inflation — and no, it’s not Putin’s fault

Reported by CHRIS ENLOE | March 30, 2022

Read more at https://www.conservativereview.com/san-francisco-federal-reserve-undercuts-biden-s-narrative-on-inflation-and-no-it-s-not-putin-s-fault-2657066781.html/

The San Francisco Federal Reserve published a study this week that appeared to contradict President Joe Biden’s narrative about inflation.

Americans are battling historic inflation and growing economic woes that appear to have no end in sight. In fact, the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed the consumer price index has increased 7.9% over the past 12 months. Unfortunately, the buck does not stop with Biden. The president has blamed inflation and other economic problems on COVID-19, the supply chain, and even Russian President Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine.

The study sought to understand why U.S. inflation is increasing at a much higher rate than other advanced economic countries. The reason? The economists pointed toward COVID-19 relief bills, which pumped the economy, and Americans’ pockets, full of income. In fact, they argued the stimulus bills account for about 3% of inflation.

“Since the first half of 2021, U.S. inflation has increasingly outpaced inflation in other developed countries,” the study said.

“Estimates suggest that fiscal support measures designed to counteract the severity of the pandemic’s economic effect may have contributed to this divergence by raising inflation about 3 percentage points by the end of 2021,” the bankers explained.

Without the massive COVID relief bills, the economists suggested the U.S. could have experienced deflation, which has benefits and drawbacks. Still, they argued the impacts of deflation “would have been harder to manage,” a comment that should be taken with a grain of salt considering the government is having a difficult time managing the inflation crisis. Importantly, the study failed to conclude that Putin is to blame for inflation.

Because of inflation, Americans will spend approximately $5,200 more than last year, Bloomberg reported.

Inflation will mean the average U.S. household has to spend an extra $5,200 this year ($433 per month) compared to last year for the same consumption basket, according estimates by Bloomberg Economics. The excess savings built up over the pandemic, and increases in wages, will cushion those costs, and allow spending to expand at a decent pace this year. But accelerated depletion of savings will increase the urgency for those staying on the sidelines to join the labor force, and the resulting increase in labor supply will likely dampen wage growth.

According to a recent NBC poll, a “plurality of Americans” blame Biden and his policies for inflation, while they overwhelmingly reject Russia’s culpability for America’s economic woes, NBC News reported.

New poll finds more Americans blame Biden for inflation than the pandemic, corporate greed, or Putin’s invasion

Recent polling shows that very few Americans are buying the excuses the Biden administration are making for high inflation and instead blame the President Joe Biden and his policies. The NBC News poll asked Americans who they thought was to blame for the high inflation that they are suffering under and offered some of the culprits blamed by the president and his supporters as possible answers. Among the options listed, Biden and his policies were blamed by a plurality of Americans polled, at 38%. Only 28% blamed the coronavirus pandemic, another 23% blamed corporations raising prices, and barely 6% blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin and his invasion of Ukraine.

Over recent months, the Biden administration has attempted to blame the invasion of Ukraine, the greed of meat conglomerates, and the pandemic for the high inflation eating away at Americans’ savings and wages. The same poll found the president’s approval rating to drop to 40% while an astounding 55% disapprove of the job Biden is doing. When asked about the economy, only 33% said they approved of the job he’s doing, while 63% said they don’t approve of the job Biden is doing.

The astonishing poll is just the latest in a long series showing devastating results for Democrats ahead of the midterms, where they would have faced an uphill battle even without horrible polling. The terrible polling has lead to greater division in the Democratic party among the centrist establishment wing, which blames progressive extremism, and the far-left progressive wing that blames Biden for not going far enough to the left.

Socialist Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York on Thursday said that the low polling came from progressives and young voters who were disappointed that Biden had done enough to satisfy their left-wing demands.

Despite Shocking Verdicts on Horrible Child Abuse Cases While Delaware’s AG, Beau Biden’s Foundation Focused on Abused Children, Now Handlers Are the Only Ones Making the Money

Reported By Joe Hoft | Published March 28, 2022

Beau Biden was the Attorney General for Delaware for nearly ten years ending in 2015.  While in the role some horrible child abuse cases were resolved with lenient sentences.  Now the Beau Biden Foundation is spending large sums of its donations on employees and not on abused children.  Why does this come as no surprise?

Beau Biden was AG in Delaware when the heir to the Dupont family was charged with child abuse of his 3-year-old. He was let off with almost no penalty.  Delaware Online reported:

The du Pont family heir who raped his 3-year-old daughter has reached a tentative settlement with his former wife in a sexual abuse lawsuit she filed on behalf of their two children, according to court records…

…Richards IV, who was originally charged with two counts of second-degree rape with a minimum of 20 years behind bars, pleaded guilty in 2008 to fourth-degree rape of his daughter. Fourth-degree rape carries no minimum prison time and sentencing guidelines used by judges and prosecutors urge zero to 30 months in prison.

Despite the horrible result in the Dupont case, the Beau Biden foundation was created to help abused children. Unfortunately, only a small portion of the money in that foundation last year went to suffering children.

Jake Smith from Delmarva Radio station WGMD provides an excellent analysis of the situation related to the Beau Biden Foundation below:

Great news for Joe Biden. After months of abysmal public approval numbers, President Biden’s favorability among registered voters has soared by 2 points to 45%! And all he had to do was bring us to the brink of World War III.

The media are thrilled with the possibility of nuclear war with Russia. Catastrophes are terrific for ratings, and flood-the-zone coverage of a war between two faraway countries that has almost zero effect on the lives of most Americans allows journalists to act like deep-think, geopolitical strategists (after having quickly looked up “Ukraine” on Wikipedia).

They dragged out the COVID panic porn for two straight years. By now, the only people still interested in pandemic updates are hysterical liberal women in Manhattan claiming to have “long-haul COVID.”

The national pastime has segued seamlessly from watching TV anchors cry on TV about the coronavirus to watching TV anchors cry on TV about the fate of Ukrainian children.

Of course, when American kids are murdered expressly as a result of our own government’s policies, the journalism protocol is: No crying, no coverage.

There will be no tears for the 5-year-old Florida girl killed in October when an illegal alien from Guatemala, Ernesto Lopez Morales, tanked up on six 32-ounce beers, then plowed into the little girl and her mother as he was driving to get more beer.

Nor for Texas teenager Adrienne Sophia Exum, killed instantly one Sunday afternoon in 2020 when Heriberto Fuerte-Padilla, an illegal alien from Mexico, smashed into the car she was driving, then fled the scene. There’s even some news: The Biden administration announced that Fuerte-Padilla will not be deported.

And there will be no weeping for the still-unidentified mother and daughter, aged 59 and 22, killed last December when a human smuggler (a “U.S. citizen,” aka “anchor baby”) carrying six illegals across the border into Texas, sped through a stop sign and T-boned the pair.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but the media’s obsessive focus on Ukraine is terrific for the interests of the Democratic Party. Recall that, in his 2012 book, “Left Turn: How Liberal Media Bias Distorts the American Mind,” then-UCLA professor Tim Groseclose demonstrated that media bias alone costs Republicans about 8 to 10 percentage points in elections.

And that was 2012. One can only imagine what it is in post-Trump 2022. If only we could return to the junior varsity media bias of 2012!

Until the war in Ukraine, the Democrats were facing midterms after having spent the previous two years mandating masks and an endless series of vaccinations — even for the vaccinated or previously infected.

Democrats flung open the border to illegal alien murderers, drug dealers, gang members and welfare recipients.

Democratic district attorneys have turned city after city into feces-smeared murdertopias that make Charles Bronson’s “Death Wish” look like “The Sound of Music.”

These days, the left’s main casus belli is teaching little kids about anal sex, transgenders and the inherent evil of white people.

What could even Stalin’s media do with that record?

Option 1) Implement a collective mind wipe, perhaps through an electromagnetic pulse, to erase voters’ memory of everything that’s happened since Joe Biden was sworn in.

Option 2) WAR! (Someplace in the world that’s not here.)

What crisis at our border? We’re reporting on a WAR.

How can you talk about murder rates when CHILDREN ARE DYING IN UKRAINE?

What vaccine mandates? COVID is over. Now we’re talking about war!

Everything bad that’s happening is Putin’s fault! He’s like Hitler!

Talk about Russian collusion! Putin gave Trump Facebook ads; he’s giving Biden a military invasion.

By now, the media have whipped the public into such a frenzy over Ukraine that a majority of Americans want the U.S. to start shooting down Russian planes, starting World War III with nuclear armed power.

A small price to pay for Democratic dominance.

But much like American military interventions around the globe, things don’t always go as planned.

The Democrats’ media helpers might want to recall President George H.W. Bush’s 89% favorable rating in 1991 — the highest presidential job approval rating then on record, according to Gallup.

Those astronomical numbers came as a result of the conclusion of the Persian Gulf War, when we went to war with Saddam Hussein because he had invaded neighboring Kuwait — violating that nation’s sacred sovereignty! — and proceeded to commit unspeakable war crimes, including using poison gas. The first week of that war, Bush’s poll numbers shot from 64% to 82%.

Republicans had a lock on the next year’s presidential contest. No serious Democrats were willing to challenge him, and the party ended up with a horny hick from Arkansas as their nominee.

And then it all collapsed. By Election Day 1992, Bush’s public approval rating was down to a pathetic 34%. The h*rny hick won the election, and Bush became an embarrassing one-term president.

On the military side, at least the Middle East was finally at peace. We never heard a peep out of Hussein again. Wait — what happened?

Biden requests $2.6 billion from Congress to fund global gender equity programs

President Joe Biden is requesting $2.6 billion to fund gender equity programs across the globe. The announcement was made on Tuesday, reported The Hill, to commemorate International Women’s Day. The $2.6 billion will be part of the Biden administration’s 2023 congressional budget request and, if approved, will double the amount requested for gender equity programs last year.

In a prepared statement, Biden said, “On this day and every day, let us recognize that all of us have a better future when women and girls can reach their full potential – and together, let’s renew our efforts to advance dignity, equality, and limitless possibilities for all.”

Biden affirmed that International Women’s Day recognizes the achievements of women and girls and celebrates progress in gender equity. The president also recommitted himself and his administration to work that he says still needs to be done to achieve gender equity.

He said, “Ensuring that every woman and girl has that chance isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s also a strategic imperative that advances the prosperity, stability, and security of our nation and the world. Yet too often, in too many places, women and girls face obstacles that limit their possibilities and undermine their participation in economic, political, and social life.”

Biden stated that the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated many existing issues that women face on a regular basis. He suggested that women’s participation in the work force declined, that additional burden was placed upon caregivers, and that gender-based violence increased. The president’s announcement marks the one-year anniversary of the administration debuting the White House Gender Policy Council. The White House announced the $2.6 billion over a livestreamed video conference to commemorate International Women’s Day, U.S. News reported.

The conference featured Secretary of State Antony Blinken, acting budget director Shalanda Young, U.S. Agency for International Development administrator Samantha Power, and the director of the Gender Policy Council, Jen Klein.

First lady Jill Biden, who was also present, marked International Women’s Day by making a video tribute to women throughout the world “who courageously use their voice, no matter the cost.”

She said, “To our sisters from Ukraine who are fighting to keep their country free and their families alive: We stand with you in solidarity. To our sister in Russia who are protesting and speaking out against the invasion at great personal risk: We see your courage.”

“And to women warriors around the world, those fighting for justice and working for a change: Thank you for building a better future for all of us,” the first lady added.

Trump was right… AGAIN.

Trump warned of $7+ gas if Biden were to get elected (installed) during a 2020 campaign rally. Not only did Trump warn about $7+ gas, he accurately predicted the Biden Regime would tell you to get rid of your car.

“If Biden got in, you’d be paying $7, $8, $9, then they’ll say ‘get rid of your car,” Trump said on the campaign trail in 2020.

Gas prices hit an all-time high on Monday at $4.11 per gallon. As gas prices hit an all-time high on Monday, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was out telling Americans to get rid of their gas-powered cars and replace them with an EV!

Ted Cruz calls for American energy independence in proposed legislation

Reported by SAMUEL MANGOLD-LENETT | March 06, 2022

Republican Senator from Texas Ted Cruz has introduced a bill to restore American energy independence as the global energy sector experiences ongoing difficulties in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Fox Business reported that Cruz announced the “Energy Freedom Act” in a Friday press release that he also used to criticize President Joe Biden for allowing America to fall behind on its ability to export fuel. Cruz said that the Biden administration has caused America to lose its “status as a net petroleum exporter.”

In the press release, Cruz said, “These policies have poured billions of dollars into countries such as Russia and Iran, which use those funds to attack our allies and undermine the national security of America.”

“President Biden has imposed more restrictions on U.S. oil companies than he has on Russian oil,” Cruz said, “With Iran, he has looked the other way as the regime busted through sanctions and raised their exports to more than one million barrels per day for the first time in almost three years.”

Cruz said that should his legislation pass, it would provide an economic boon for the country while enabling the United States to reduce trade with countries it hopes to punish on the international stage. Cruz said that his bill is focused on “[reversing] Biden’s actions so we can restore American energy independence” and that it “won’t cost taxpayers a dime” While creating “Billions in revenue in the coming years’ For the United States by expediting permitting, leasing, safe new pipelines, and exports, and providing much needed regulatory certainty.”

He said, “It would create new jobs, lower energy costs, and because modern energy production in the United States is far cleaner than in any other country by every measure, it would help the environment. The Energy Freedom Act would put a stop to the Biden administration’s sabotage of the American energy industry, and Congress should take it up without delay.”

Cruz also recently amplified statements made by tech CEO Elon Musk calling for American energy independence. Musk took to Twitter and said, “Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil [and] gas output immediately. Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures.”

Responding emphatically, Cruz said that he “couldn’t agree more.”

Some of the Biden administration’s first actions in office were to restrict American oil drilling. Upon entering the White House, Biden revoked the Keystone XL pipeline’s permit to transport fossil fuels and moved to prevent the issuing of new leases to drill for oil and gas on federal lands. These steps considerably reduced the amount of energy being domestically produced and has led to American leadership considering the purchase of oil from hostile nations like Iran.

Elon Musk quickly fact checks Biden over SOTU claims on electric vehicles that ignored Tesla

Elon Musk corrected President Joe Biden on Tuesday for touting the success of Ford and General Motors in the electric vehicle industry but completely ignoring the successes of Tesla. During his speech, Biden touted the “revitalization of American manufacturing,” referring to American companies who outsourced their manufacturing but have begun to increase domestic production in recent years. Specifically, Biden cited Ford and GM and their commitment to building electric vehicles.

“Companies are choosing to build new factories here, when just a few years ago, they would have built them overseas,” Biden said. “That’s what is happening. Ford is investing $11 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 11,000 jobs across the country. GM is making the largest investment in its history — $7 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 4,000 jobs in Michigan.”

When the president’s social media team reposted the lines to his Twitter account, Musk quickly hit back.

“Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles & is investing more than double GM + Ford combined,” Musk corrected.

Musk has good reason to be upset with Biden. Not only has Tesla created tens of thousands of jobs in the U.S. and generated billions of dollars in revenue, but Tesla is also the most productive automotive manufacturer in North America, producing 8,550 cars per week on average at its Fremont, California, plant, Bloomberg reported.

And Biden’s snub on Tuesday was not the first time Biden has given Tesla the cold shoulder. Last August, the White House held an electric vehicle summit. Biden invited GM, Ford, Chrysler, and the United Auto Workers union, but refused to invite Tesla despite being the No. 1 producer of electric vehicles.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki later addressed why Tesla was not invited, implying that Musk’s company was snubbed because its workforce is not unionized.

Musk later accused the Biden administration of being “controlled by unions” when he addressed the EV summit.

“You know, Biden held this EV summit, didn’t invite Tesla. Invited GM, Ford, Chrysler, and UAW. An EV summit on the White House. Didn’t mention Tesla once, and praised GM and Ford for leading the EV revolution. Does this sound maybe a little biased or something? And you know, just, it’s not the friendliest administration. Seems to be controlled by unions as far as I can tell,” Musk said.

Just last month, Musk highlighted the idiocy of ignoring Tesla’s obvious successes while promoting pro-union auto-makers.

“Biden has pointedly ignored Tesla at every turn and falsely stated to the public that GM leads the electric car industry, when in fact Tesla produced over 300,000 electric vehicles last quarter and GM produced 26,” Musk said.

Wednesday, March 2, 2022

I was watching the news this morning. FOX was reviewing last nights propaganda speech. The subject of the oil situation came up, especially about the so-called “oil reserve” Biden was releasing. It amounts to a three-day supply of oil in America.

Several thoughts came up regarding the situation between Putin and Biden. With all that the socialist put Trump through, (“Russia, Russia, Russia”) this geriatric dementia 80 something, is more in the pocket of Putin than the socialist accused Trump of being.

There is a meme going around of someone saying, “Instead of this Build Back Better businesses, how about just putting it all back the way you found it.” Indeed. We were oil independent, selling to other nations, and Putin was sitting on drilled oil. Our economy was robust, and we all could afford to drive our cars (there is a gas station a half block from us with prices of almost $6 a gallon). Do they really think we’re that stupid?

Everything these socialist’ have done is all designed around “control, control, control”. We all know now that this pandemic was more fear mongering than actual danger. Numbers inflated, bad advice, everything about it manipulated to grow fear in order for them to control almost every aspect of our lives.

After shutting down the Keystone Pipeline, and making us dependent on Russia for our oil (“Russia, Russia, Russia”), they shut down a robust economy buy shutting us up in our homes. Might as well have been house arrest. Supply lines cut off, making everything more expensive, and growing the fear that we might never have enough toilet paper.

Lie, after lie, after lie about face masks, numbers of deaths, and feeding more fear. Instead of a few weeks, or months, these manipulated lies have last two years. And miraculously, the China virus stopped it’s attack on the day of Biden State of the Union AS WE WANT YOU TO BELIEVE IT IS, BUT IN REALITY, WE HAVE DESTROYED IT FOR PUTIN AND XI.

Last night Biden threw up a speech someone else wrote, saying all the things he was expected to say, and meaning none of it, while stretching his dominion further. His greatest lies were those about Russia and Ukraine. We already have evidence of his manipulation of Ukraine leadership with his boast. Summed up, more Russian control of our economy by our dependence on Putin’s oil.

Now gasoline is over $5 a gallon, and climbing. Supply chains are growing, restaurants are so expensive, it’s prohibitive to eat out anymore. $9 for a Big Mac meal????? Heating our homes are down to multiple blankets, and electrical cost are criminal. And I think I have the reason all this has been engineered.

They locked us down to see if they could pull it off. Success. Once you give Socialist/Leftist power, THEY WILL NEVER GIVE IT BACK. So, make everything so expensive that Americans cannot afford to go out. Make gasoline so expensive that AMERICANS HAVE TO STAY HOME (LOCKDOWN). Add to that the Socialist/Leftist puts forth this geriatric dementia 80 something as a mock President, and you have a tyrannical government that is only interested in filling their own pockets, and those of the oligarchs that control them.

Angry enough America? Violence is not the answer, because that’s what they expect. Prayer? YES! Speak up, YES! Call them on their lies and manipulation? YES! Get out the vote and hold them accountable for their cheating? YES! Let’s start where we live and spread out nationally. I refuse to be controlled one more second. How about you?

WATCH: Guest on CNN Destroys Biden in a Little Over 60 Seconds – Anderson Cooper Sits Shocked in Silence (VIDEO)

Anderson Cooper had a guest on his show to talk about Biden’s first year and in less than 60 seconds he laid out perfectly Biden’s “disaster”.

Becker News reported:

CNN is the network where Democrat criticism goes to die. But this weekend, a guest evaded the network’s screening process and unleashed a savage takedown of Biden’s policies, all while the CNN regulars sat in astonished silence.

The brutal rant all started when Anderson Cooper turned to Scott Jennings, former Special Asst. to President George W. Bush, and asked him to remark on the Biden presidency.

Jennings shared:

“I think he has a lot of political problems,” he said. “And an AP poll came out this morning, only 28 percent of Americans want the sitting president to run for re-election. And fewer than half of Democrats.”

“This is a disaster,” he concluded.

NBC News anchor warns Democrats face ‘shellacking’ in 2022 midterm elections, admits Biden has ‘lost his identity’

NBC News anchor Chuck Todd warned Sunday that Democrats could face a “shellacking” in the 2022 midterm elections. Reacting to a grim new NBC News survey, the “Meet the Press” host admitted that President Joe Biden’s perception is quickly sinking and warned that Democrats could lose big time in the 2022 midterm elections. According to Todd, Biden needs “a reset” because he has “lost his identity.”

“He’s no longer seen as competent and effective, no longer seen as a good commander in chief or — perhaps most damaging — as easy going and likable,” Todd said. “In fact, just five percent of adults say Mr. Biden has performed better than expected as president — one of the many lowests, firsts, and fewests in our poll.”

Todd then turned to Biden’s job approval as indicated by the poll, which stands at just 43%.

“If you look at history, history shows that kind of presidential approval rating leads to a shellacking for the party in power,” Todd observed.

But even worse, the poll indicated that 72% of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Todd explained that metric spells even more bad news for Democrats if they hope to maintain their control of Congress in November.

“Right now our wrong track — nation’s on the wrong track number — sitting at 72%, second poll in a row where we’ve been over 70%. This is only the third time in our poll’s history over 30 years where we’ve had two tracks that off,” Todd explained. “That again would put you in shellacking territory for the party in power.”

BRACE YOURSELF! The ‘Mother of All Supply Chain Shocks’ Is Coming as China Shuts Down Major Ports Due to Pandemic

As if there wasn’t enough bad economic news — The War Room opened their first hour on Friday warning viewers of the coming “mother of all supply chain shocks.” Zero Hedge reported on the coming Biden crisis on Thursday.

And, as we have also discussed in recent weeks, one place where this growth slowdown is emerging – besides the upcoming deterioration in US consumption where spending is now being funded to record rates by credit cards before it encounters a troubling air pocket – is China and its “covid-zero” policy in general, and its covid-locked down ports in particular.

But what until recently was a minority view confined to our modest website, has since expanded and as Bloomberg writes overnight, the effects of restrictions in China as the country maintains its Covid-zero policy “are starting to hit supply chains in the region.” As a result of the slow movement of goods through some of the country’s busiest and most important ports means shippers are now diverting to Shanghai, causing the types of knock-on delays at the world’s biggest container port that led to massive congestion bottlenecks last summer that eventually translated into a record number of container ships waiting off the coast of California, a glut that hasn’t been cleared to this day.

With sailing schedules already facing delays of about a week, freight forwarders warn of the impact on already back-logged gateways in Europe and the US and is also why HSBC economists are warning that the world economy could be headed for the “mother of all” supply chain shocks if the highly infectious omicron variant which is already swamping much of the global economy spreads across Asia, especially China, at which point disruption to manufacturing will be inevitable.

“Temporary, one would hope, but hugely disruptive all the same” in the next few months, they wrote in a research note this week first noted by Bloomberg.

President Biden’s approval rating craters to disastrous new low in latest national poll

President Joe Biden’s approval rating among Americans polled in the newest Quinnipiac poll cratered to a new low as high inflation continued to hamper the economy. Only a third of Americans, or 33%, said that they approve of the job Biden is doing as president. Another 53% said they disapprove of the president.

“A rocky start for President Biden gets him low grades on his year one report card,” said Tim Malloy, a polling analyst for Quinnipiac University.

Americans were also fearful that internal strife was continuing to damage the country.

When asked what was a greater threat to the United States, far more Americans said that political instability was a greater threat than those posed by other countries, 76% to 19%, respectively. Among those, a greater percentage of Democrats said instability was a danger, while a smaller percentage of Republicans said the same, 83% to 66% respectively.

“A fear of the enemy within, not a foreign threat, punctuates a grim assessment by Americans of a democracy in peril and a future of deepening political divisions,” added Malloy.

The poll also found that a majority of Americans, 61%, support the investigation into the rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, while only 33% oppose it. While a slim majority of Americans said that the Jan. 6 attack should not be forgotten, the percentage that said so had fallen from 57% in Aug. 2021, to only 50% currently.

Democrats are fearful that Biden’s unpopularity will worsen their prospects for holding onto power in the U.S. Congress in the midterm elections. While some have defended him by claiming that the media has been unfair to him, others have accused Biden of not supporting far left causes enough.

On Tuesday, critics of the president pounced on the news that Stacey Abrams had skipped Biden’s important speech in Georgia about the importance of passing a Democrat-backed bill bolstering voter access. Abrams said it was simply a scheduling mistake, but even mainstream journalists opined that Biden’s unpopularity was more likely the reason for the snub.

BREAKING: Supreme Court Rules on Biden’s Vaccine Mandates

BREAKING: Supreme Court Rules on Biden's Vaccine Mandates

Source: (AP Photo/LM Otero)

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday to strike down President Joe Biden’s Wuhan coronavirus vaccine mandate for private businesses. Justices upheld his executive order requiring vaccination for healthcare workers at facilities receiving federal funding.

The ruling on vaccine requirements for private businesses with more than 100 employees was decided 6-3. Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer dissented.

“The Secretary of Labor, acting through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, recently enacted a vaccine mandate for much of the Nation’s work force. The mandate, which employers must enforce, applies to roughly 84 million workers, covering virtually all employers with at least 100 employees. It requires that covered workers receive a COVID–19 vaccine, and it pre-empts contrary state laws. The only exception is for workers who obtain a medical test each week at their own expense and on their own time, and also wear a mask each workday,” the opinion states. “OSHA has never before imposed such a mandate. Nor has Congress. Indeed, although Congress has enacted significant legislation addressing the COVID–19 pandemic, it has declined to enact any measure similar to what OSHA has promulgated here. Many States, businesses, and nonprofit organizations challenged OSHA’s rule in Courts of Appeals across the country.”

“The Fifth Circuit initially entered a stay. But when the cases were consolidated before the Sixth Circuit, that court lifted the stay and allowed OSHA’s rule to take effect. Applicants now seek emergency relief from this Court, arguing that OSHA’s mandate exceeds its statutory authority and is otherwise unlawful. Agreeing that applicants are likely to prevail, we grant their applications and stay the rule,” the opinion continues.

Further, the Justices pointed out the risk from Wuhan coronavirus exists outside of the work place and therefore, limits OSHA’s regulatory power.

“COVID–19 can and does spread at home, in schools, during sporting events, and everywhere else that people gather. That kind of universal risk is no different from the day-to-day dangers that all face from crime, air pollution, or any number of communicable diseases. Permitting OSHA to regulate the hazards of daily life—simply because most Americans have jobs and face those same risks while on the clock—would significantly expand OSHA’s regulatory authority without clear congressional authorization,” the ruling states.

The separate ruling on vaccine requirements for healthcare workers at facilities receiving federal funding through Medicare and Medicaid was decided 5-4. Justices Neil Gorsuch, Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett and Samuel Alito dissented.

“The Government has not made a strong showing that this agglomeration of statutes authorizes any such rule,” Justice Thomas wrote in his dissent. “The Government proposes to find virtually unlimited vaccination power, over millions of healthcare workers, in definitional provisions, a saving clause, and a provision regarding long-term care facilities’ sanitation procedures. The Government has not explained why Congress would have used these ancillary provisions to house what can only be characterized as a ‘fundamental detail’ of the statutory scheme. Had Congress wanted to grant CMS power to impose a vaccine man- date across all facility types, it would have done what it has done elsewhere—specifically authorize one. “

Arielle Del Turco Op-ed: Don’t let Biden off the hook for the disaster he left in Afghanistan

Joe Biden

The media has largely moved on from the Afghanistan debacle, and many are all too eager to sweep the consequences of President Biden’s botched withdrawal under the rug. Yet, the repercussions will last lifetimes.

Currently, hundreds of parents and family members are seeking help for their starving children. Last year, the United Nations warned that one million Afghan children were at risk of starvation, and now many are struggling to make it through the winter.

On the best of days, Afghanistan has a near-universal poverty rate. Now, a famine and economic collapse are making it virtually impossible for many to meet their families’ basic needs. In sheer desperation, some parents are being driven to sell their young daughters into future marriages just so the family will have a few months’ worth of food. It’s an unthinkable choice — but one that some feel is their only chance to evade death by starvation when there is no work to be found.

One father’s decision has him in agony. He told CNN reporters that he could no longer sleep at night because he sold his nine-year-old daughter into marriage. The guilt and shame have “broken” him. Following unsuccessful attempts to find work, even traveling to the provincial capital, he said, “We are eight family members. I have to sell to keep other family members alive.” The money from the sale will feed the family for only a few months.

Sadly, the economic collapse in the wake of the Taliban’s rise was predicted and shouldn’t take Biden administration officials by surprise. The question now is how to respond.

The U.S. government is rightly being careful to avoid giving any financial aid to the Taliban. And although the United States donated funds through international humanitarian aid groups, Olivia Enos, a senior policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, has pointed out that current aid levels are expected to meet only 40% of the anticipated needs to get through the winter months. The Biden administration should seek effective solutions to get substantial help directly to suffering Afghans.

When it comes to promoting religious freedom in Afghanistan, the U.S. government has always fallen far short. The past 20 years of U.S. involvement in the country failed to produce a cultural acceptance of religious freedom or pluralism. The consequences continue. And for the Afghan Christians most endangered by the rise of the Taliban, the Biden administration’s actions (and inaction) were shameful.

Although certain groups of Afghan nationals were given Priority 2 (P-2) designation for the U.S. refugee program — which allows more direct access for individuals to apply when they are at immediate risk — religious minorities were not offered P-2 status. This is in spite of the Taliban openly threatening religious minorities and the number of minorities who would have utilized the program being small and manageable. The Biden administration should fix this error and extend P-2 status to Afghan religious minorities.

When private NGOs tried to help vulnerable Christians, women and others fleeing the Taliban, the State Department was accused of thwarting these rescue efforts. Josh Youssef, president of Help the Persecuted, helped organize refugee flights out of Afghanistan with endangered religious minorities. When he reached out to the State Department for help, he was told that he would have a better chance of the plane taking off if there were LGBT-identifying persons on board.

But religious minorities aren’t the only people with reason to fear. Amid the Taliban’s rollback of women’s rights, many women who had public professions are scrambling to hide their identities. Female athletes are on the run, changing locations every few weeks to avoid being caught and punished by the Taliban.

Women who served in the Afghan military or police are also hiding. Samima, who served in the Afghan Air Force, fled to a new location with her husband after she received phone calls from Taliban fighters and the Taliban began going door to door looking for former Afghan military members. She told The Wall Street Journal, “Thousands of girls like me are receiving threats, face an uncertain future and are being tracked by the Taliban.”

Countless Afghan girls and female university students have been kept at home and out of school since the Taliban’s return. For many, their dreams were put on hold in 2021, perhaps permanently.

Meanwhile, there are still Americans who remain stuck in Afghanistan. Not to mention the countless Afghan allies who worked for the U.S. military and were promised protection in just such a circumstance as a U.S. withdrawal.

The White House would be happy for us all to forget that the grossly mishandled U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan ever happened. But we must not. America spent 20 years involved in this country; the people of Afghanistan deserve better than to be abandoned and ignored in their hour of most dire need. Furthermore, the American people deserve far better leadership than President Biden has shown throughout this ordeal largely of his own making.

By electing Joe Biden, Americans entrusted him with our foreign policy. The resulting human suffering in Afghanistan ought to be remembered as a grave stain upon Biden’s presidency.

Liberal media deafeningly silent on report indicating Biden admin was behind letter describing parents as domestic terrorists

Reported by PHIL SHIVER | January 12, 2022

Read more at https://www.theblaze.com/news/media-silent-on-cardona-nsba-letter-story/

The left-leaning American news media has so far refused to cover a bombshell report indicating that the Biden administration may have been instrumental in the drafting of a letter that compared protesting parents to domestic terrorists and requested the Patriot Act be used against them.

What are the details?

A newly obtained email exchange appeared to show that the highly controversial Sept. 29 National School Boards Association letter that directly resulted in the FBI using counterterrorism tactics against parents was drafted and sent to President Biden at the direction of Department of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

The email communication — obtained by activist group Parents Defending Education through a Freedom of Information Act request — raised serious concerns that the administration had predetermined to go to war against parents protesting school lockdowns and critical race theory in classrooms, merely formulating the letter as a cover.

One would think such news would be gripping enough for media outlets to cover. But that has not been the case. Newsbusters reported Wednesday that in the roughly 24 hours since the news broke, only one news network covered it.Don’t miss out on content from Dave Rubin free of big tech censorship. Listen to The Rubin Report now.

“Despite this stunning revelation, all three evening broadcast shows ignored the report,” the outlet said., adding, “While ABC ‘World News Tonight,’ NBC ‘Nightly News,’ and CBS ‘Evening News’ all ignored the story, Fox’s ‘Special Report’ reported on it during the show’s A-block.”about:blank

As of Wednesday afternoon, the email exchange citing Cardona as the letter’s solicitor wasn’t reported on by CNN, either. Nor was it covered by any of the three major American news sources: the Associated Press, the New York Times, or the Washington Post.

The email exchange has been covered by a variety of conservative news sources.

What’s the background?

In the Oct. 5 email, the NSBA’s secretary-treasurer Kristi Swett told fellow board member Marnie Maldonado that interim CEO Chip Slaven had “told the [board] officers he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House, from a request by Secretary Cardona.”about:blank

Maldonado had expressed concerns to Swett that the letter was sent without following board policy. The board member also complained that the letter “essentially allowed the White House to direct the Attorney General to consider members of our community ‘domestic terrorists.'”

Shortly after the letter was sent to Biden, on Oct. 4, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memo dispatching the FBI to meet a supposed “disturbing spike” of “harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against school administrators, board members, and other personnel.

The FBI followed the orders by creating a “threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS,” for agents to “track” any “threats of violence or fear” against school personnel.

Anything else?

In a statement to the Washington Free Beacon, the Department of Education denied allegations that Cardona had requested the letter.

“While the Secretary did not solicit a letter from the NSBA, to understand the views and concerns of stakeholders, the Department routinely engages with students, teachers, parents, district leaders, and education associates,” a department spokesperson said.

Following the news on Tuesday, Education and Labor Committee ranking member Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) called on Cardona to answer the allegations before Congress.

“It is abundantly clear to me that Secretary Cardona must answer to the Education and Labor Committee, Congress on the whole, and especially the American people,” Foxx said. “Anything less is an insult to the proud parents who want to better the education of their children. This pattern of behavior displayed by the Biden administration — let alone the Secretary of Education — is what one could expect from a political arsonist.”

She added that the news proved that “from the very beginning, the targeting of concerned parents has been nothing short of a witch hunt orchestrated by partisan demagogues in the White House, Department of Justice, and the Department of Education.”

Leaked Biden Plan Would House Violent Men In Women’s Prison Cells

President Joe Biden is preparing to give every rapist and molester in federal prison a get-out-of-jail-free card. Specifically, Biden is offering to transfer any and all male criminals to women’s prisons. All the men will have to do is say that they feel like a woman, and the Biden administration will take them at their word.

This policy may be the worst part of a proposed executive order on law enforcement, a draft of which was obtained by The Federalist. Most of the proposal is devoted to, if not defunding the police, at least disarming and disabling them. But buried toward the end of the extensive planned action to get soft on crime is a small paragraph of anodyne bureaucratic language that orders the U.S. attorney general to “within 30 days of the date of this order, begin the process of identifying any necessary changes to the [Bureau of Prisons] Transgender Offender Manual … to enable BOP to designate individuals to facilities in accordance with their gender identity.” In short, under this executive order, the federal government will house criminals based on subjective, self-declared “gender identity” rather than biological sex. Male rapists, child molesters, and other sexual criminals will be allowed to live in women’s prisons, and because the transgender ideology embraced by the Biden administration claims gender identity is purely internal, they will be allowed in regardless of whether they still possess fully functional male genitalia.

This move toward co-ed prisons will result in male sexual predators exploiting the system in order to abuse and rape female prisoners. We know this because it has already happened in places these proposals have been enacted. For example, Caroline Downey of National Review Online recently published a piece detailing alleged rapes and sexual assaults within the Washington state prison system, which has begun housing men in female prisons. The story suggests that such incidents are being covered up, presumably due to prison officials eager to placate their political overlords.

The same problems have arisen in California, which houses male prisoners who claim a female “gender identity” in women’s prisons. In response to reports of rape and abuse, the feminist Women’s Liberation Front, which rejects transgender ideology, has filed a federal lawsuit against the state.

As Brittany Bernstein reports: “Plaintiff Krystal Gonzalez says she was sexually assaulted by a biological male who was transferred to Central California Women’s Facility under the law. According to the suit, when Gonzalez filed a complaint and requested to be housed away from men the prison’s response called her alleged attacker a ‘transgender woman with a penis.’” Perhaps no phrase sums up the current state of liberal ideology as “woman with a penis.”

In the United Kingdom, placing the phallically-endowed in women’s prisons has produced such horrific results that even the leftists at The Guardian admit that some “mistakes were made.” But that has not been enough to stop the trend, and now female prisoners are being threatened with extra time for calling “transgender inmates ‘he’ or ‘him.’”

Now, Joe Biden and his officials are eager to follow these examples. The Democratic Party, along with most of our nation’s ruling class, has embraced transgender ideology and is eager to enforce it. The public, meanwhile, is realizing that what was sold as just being nice as Bruce became Caitlyn extends to transitioning children, allowing men to dominate women’s sports, and now allowing male rapists and murderers to write their own ticket into women’s prisons.

As these examples show, transgender ideology is misogynistic. The heart of this misogyny is transgenderism’s hatred for the biological reality of human sexual dimorphism. Thus, transgenderism disdains and tries to erase recognition of the special vulnerability that women bear in consequence of human physical embodiment.

Women are, on average, physically weaker than men. Furthermore, human reproduction imposes much heavier burdens and risks on women than it does on men. Consequently, civilization consists, to a very great extent, of training men to treat women as people, not prey. It is a mark of civilization that even women who have forfeited their freedom are still protected from male sexual predation. Such efforts are always imperfect, but it is a definitive sign of a relapse into savagery to deliberately allow male criminals access to female prisoners. This indifference to female vulnerability demonstrates the casual cruelty of transgender ideologues, who are too enraptured with intellectual fantasies to be bothered by the real suffering they inflict. Also, contrary to his campaign promises to be a moderate, return-to-normalcy president, Biden is governing as a hard-left ideologue.

There was a time when putting men into women’s prisons would have been the punchline to a bad Biden campaign trail joke. Now, it’s his policy, and if it is enacted, some of the most vulnerable women in our nation will suffer for it.

Joe Biden’s America: Record 4.5 Million Americans Quit Their Jobs in November

Reported By Cristina Laila | Published January 4, 2022

This is Joe Biden’s America.

A record 4.5 million Americans quit their jobs in November according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The quits increased in the hospitality industry, transportation and healthcare thanks to Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates.

“The number of quits increased in November to a series high 4.5 million (+370,000). The quits rate increased to 3.0 percent, matching the series high in September. Quits increased in several industries with the largest increases in accommodation and food services (+159,000); health care and social assistance (+52,000); and transportation, warehousing, and utilities (+33,000). The number of quits increased in the Northeast, South, and Midwest regions.” – the Bureau of Labor Statistics stated on Tuesday.

Biden strained the healthcare industry by imposing an unconstitutional vaccine mandate for all healthcare workers. Airliners and trucking also got hit hard because of vaccine mandates.

Jim Cramer will probably be out telling us how wonderful this news is and how grateful we should be for Joe Biden.

‘I will send them to Delaware’ on buses: DeSantis hits back over Biden secretly flying migrants into Florida

Reported by PHIL SHIVER | November 11, 2021

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis threatened this week to bus illegal immigrants to President Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware should the administration continue to pay for “clandestine” flights carrying migrants into the Sunshine State.

“If they’re going to come here, you know, we’ll provide buses and … I will send them to Delaware,” DeSantis warned during a press conference on Wednesday.

The governor’s tough remarks came amid a lengthy polemic against the president over his handling of the ongoing immigration crisis at the U.S southern border, during which he described the secretive process that the Biden administration has reportedly used to send some 70 flights carrying illegal aliens into his state and elsewhere around the country. One of those flights carried an illegal immigrant who allegedly went on to murder a father of four in Florida, DeSantis declared earlier this week.

“There’s no notification to the state of Florida,” DeSantis complained, noting, “These are done mostly in the middle of the night, and it’s clandestine. And we really have no say into it.”

“I know when we initially got wind of this, it wasn’t through normal channels, it’s people in the federal government who are effectively leaking this to us so that we have a heads-up on it,” he continued.

The governor then argued that if the president is unwilling to secure the country’s border with Mexico, then he should open up his home state to house the illegal immigrants rather than shipping them to other places around the country.

“If he’s not going to support the border being secured, then he should be able to have everyone there. So, we will do whatever we can in that regard. And we are absolutely going to do everything we can,” DeSantis insisted.

DeSantis also took issue with separate reporting that amid rapidly rising inflation in the country, Biden is considering handing out payments to some illegal immigrant families who were separated at the border under the previous administration.

“The president has said that basically, they want to even pay reparations to people who came illegally, just think about that,” the governor said. “You as an American, you get higher gas prices, you get higher grocery bills, you get told, basically, to just grin and bear it.”

“But someone breaks the law, comes illegally, and they’re going to cut him a check for hundreds of thousands of dollars,” he continued. “That is just unbelievable. But that’s what we’re dealing with.”

Ann Coulter Op-ed: I Read Biden’s Build Back Better Plan And… Oh, My God

I Read Biden's Build Back Better Plan And... Oh, My God

Source: AP Photo/Alex Brandon

The White House’s official press release announcing the Build Back Better Act (BBB) pitches it as a “PLAN TO REBUILD THE MIDDLE CLASS.” It rhapsodizes about “working families” squeezed by the economy, and reminds voters that “Biden promised to rebuild the backbone of the country — the middle class.”

A cartoon illustrates the sort of person who would benefit from Biden’s Build Back Better programs: “Linda,” a white woman, who works at a manufacturing plant but struggles to raise her son, “Leo.”

One thing the White House’s official press release did not mention is that almost all of the $2 trillion doled out under BBB is expressly designated for Black, Latino, Native American, Asian American, Pacific Islander and non-English speaking individuals. White Americans will get nothing and like it.

Over and over again, the bill is written expressly NOT to help the hardworking Linda, apparently because she is white. Here are just a few examples:

— $1 billion to Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian communities for housing “needs.”

— $500 million for minority-serving schools of medicine.

— $112 million for teacher preparation programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).

— $75 million for culturally appropriate care management and services for older individuals who are racial and ethnic minorities or are underserved due to sexual orientation or gender identity.

— $75 million to study maternal health for pregnant and postpartum minority individuals.

— $50 million study maternal mortality among minorities.

— $50 million to improve behavioral health outcomes for communities of color with substance abuse.

— $75 million to increase research capacity at minority-serving institutions.

And on and on and on.

The very first item in Title II of the bill, titled “ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION,” is a program to distribute more than $100 million in grants to address “low diversity within the teacher and school leader workforce.” To be eligible for a grant, the recipient must have a plan “to increase the diversity of qualified individuals entering into the teacher, principal, or other school leader workforce.”

Similarly, the first provision of BBB’s “ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT” section is: “Minority Business Development Agency.”

But wait — here’s a plot twist! This part also includes something for rural America! (So Democrats have heard of Appalachia.) Twenty-one percent of the country is rural. Twenty-four percent is non-white. Guess how the money is divvied up?

One billion dollars for minorities and $200 million for “rural business centers.”

Even provisions that don’t explicitly exclude whites, turn out, on closer examination, to exclude whites. I’ve never seen so many synonyms for “non-white,” such as “persistent poverty communities,” “historically economically distressed,” “historical injustice” and “underserved communities.”

Hang on, Ann — what makes you think “underserved” means “non-white”?

I refer you to page 111 of the bill:

“This section also defines an ‘underserved community’ as a group of people who have been systematically denied the full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic, social, and civic life. Underserved communities include Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian American and Pacific Islanders, other persons of color, [etc.].”

How about changes to our environmental laws? White people love the environment! Sorry, out of luck, again, white boy.

BBB allocates almost $7 billion for “national service programs to carry out projects related to climate resilience and mitigation.” Unfortunately, however, all those billions have to go to “entities that serve and have representation from low-income communities …; utilize culturally competent and multilingual strategies; … implemented by diverse participants from communities being served.”

One billion dollars of the “Climate Resilience and Mitigation” loot is specifically directed to “individuals who were formally incarcerated.” [Sic.] Sure, climate change is important — but not as important as giving money to convicted felons!

What the hell happened to Linda?

Linda is wearing a hardhat, so her job has probably been outsourced. Maybe she’ll be helped by BBB’s humongous expansion of the Trade Adjustment Assistance program (TAA). That’s the law passed in the 1960s to compensate American workers whose jobs have been shipped abroad by globalist swine who couldn’t care less about their fellow Americans and don’t mind that every single thing we need, including masks and medicine, is made in China.

Surely, some white people will qualify for that — steelworkers, autoworkers, glass, plastic and paper manufacturing employees.

In fact, the BBB hijacks the whole idea of compensating globalism’s losers and turns the TAA into just another massive welfare scheme. Both the eligibility requirements and payment amounts are expanded beyond all reason, entitling “workers” to years and years of payouts, with no minimum employment period required, and no stipulation that trade has anything to do with the loss of their jobs.

Thus, for example, a program that is — again — meant to remunerate workers whose jobs were shipped abroad will now offer assistance to public sector employees. How does a government employee lose a job at all — much less to trade? (I only wish we had Chinese people running our grade schools.)

Naturally, states will be required to work with “training providers” that have a proven track record serving “Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian American and Pacific Islanders, other persons of color, members of other minority communities” and so on.

Republicans seem to think that if they just talk about how much Biden’s BBB plan costs, their job is done. They ought to read the bill. It might prompt them to finally say something about the Democrats’ clear animus against white Americans.

President Biden left 14,000 US residents behind in Afghanistan after promising to get every American out: Report

Reported by SCHRIS PANDOLFO | November 05, 2021

Read more at https://www.theblaze.com/news/biden-left-14000-us-residents-behind-in-afghanistan

The finding, disclosed by a congressional aide familiar with the matter, has been transmitted by the State Department to aides on Capitol Hill in private, but officials demurred on revealing the figure when questioned by Republican lawmakers on Wednesday, insisting the agency doesn’t track the figure.

“Isn’t the operating assumption about 14,000?” Republican Rep. Chris Smith asked Brian McKeon, deputy secretary of state for management and resources, at a hearing on Wednesday, referring to the figure briefed in private.

“We don’t track [legal permanent residents],” McKeon responded. “It’s a good question why we don’t,” he added, suggesting the lack of clarity might be because the State Department does not require Americans and legal permanent residents traveling abroad to report their whereabouts.

According to McKeon’s testimony Wednesday, there are still 289 U.S. citizens in Afghanistan as of Tuesday and another 81 Americans who are ready to evacuate the country. McKeon said the Biden administration got 140 Americans out last week.

Foreign Policy reported that the State Department is prioritizing American citizens for evacuation over legal permanent residents and green card holders. In a statement, the State Department said there is no exact tally of U.S. legal permanent residents in Afghanistan.

“We do not have an exact number of LPRs and their immediate family members who have departed or who remain in Afghanistan,” a spokesperson said. “In this extraordinary situation we are facing in Afghanistan, we have helped LPRs seeking assistance to depart wherever possible.”

Foreign Policy noted that lawmakers have expressed frustration with the Biden administration for being opaque about the exact number of citizens, legal permanent residents, and Afghan allies of the U.S. who were left behind. Administration officials have responded by saying the number is in constant flux as more people are coming forward with a desire to leave the country.

On Aug. 19, Biden told ABC News: “If there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out.”

U.S. troops were withdrawn on Aug. 31. At the time, Biden estimated there were 100 to 200 Americans remaining in Afghanistan who wanted to leave. Again on Sept. 5, White House chief of staff Ron Klain said about 100 Americans were still in Afghanistan who wanted to leave. State Department deputy spokeswoman Jalina Porter echoed that estimate on Sept. 10.

But one month later in October, the Pentagon clarified there were actually more than 400 American citizens still in the country.

Now it’s revealed that 14,000 green card holders are still trapped in Afghanistan, people who can apply for U.S. citizenship and enjoy many of the same rights as citizens with the exception of the right to vote. The rapid Taliban takeover of Afghanistan as U.S. forces withdrew obviously complicated evacuation efforts. But the responsibility for failing to get thousands of American citizens and legal permanent residents out of the country before U.S. forces withdrew lies squarely with the Biden administration.

Biden’s Supply Chain Speech in Italy Sounded Like Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini “The Trains Will Run On Time”

The G20 (comprising 19 countries and the European Union) met in Rome this past weekend to address the global supply chain crisis, international taxes, and climate change. Three of America’s largest importers China, Japan, and Mexico leaders, were absent.

President Biden held a press conference focusing on the fragility of the global supply chains. Biden’s Rome speech finished by channeling Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini by quoting the need for “the trains run on time.” Many of our supply chains are almost entirely owned and operated by the private sector. But government can play a key role identifying supply chain risks and bringing the different pieces and actors together to address these vulnerabilities. To insure our supply chains are free from forced and child labor. Supporting the dignity and the voice of workers and are in line with our climate goals.

Last week in a futile attempt, Biden ordered the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports to work 24/7. Still, a  shortage of rail workers and qualified professional truck drivers means continued bottlenecks. Also, there are punitive fines for container shipping delays. This Bureaucratic incompetency doesn’t inspire confidence.

Biden claims the Build Back Better spending bill will rescue the system by providing billions in funding to fix the private supply chains and provide monitoring and oversight.

Centralized Command Economy

Biden is moving towards an old-style Soviet Union command economy of issuing logistic regulations and objectives for producing, distributing, and consuming goods. Next on his agenda, we can anticipate a state planning committee to devise operational plans and destructive price controls to contain inflationary prices. The Soviet Command economy created empty shop shelves and long waiting lines.  Biden’s economy is now doing the same just in time for Christmas.

Vilification of Just-In-Time Supply Chains

The global just-in-time supply chain (JIT) is based on suppliers stripping out redundancies, streamlining efficiency, and eliminating waste resulting in lower-cost products for consumers. JIT manufactures and distributes products at the right time in the right amounts based on customer demand. Absent panic buying, JIT worked well for decades until the mandated pandemic lockdowns disrupted the supply chains.

Biden’s cure is to force the private sector to take on more costs by re-engineering logistics, creating redundancies and inventory stockpiles to overhaul the JIT supply chains. It will create further disruptions and much higher consumer prices.

Gallup Poll – ‘Government Has Too Much Power’

Last September, the Gallup Poll found that 52% of the public favor a more limited government role. There has been a shift where American’s believe that the government is regulating business too much. The public also prefers lower taxes and fewer government services. Most American’s realize government regulation creates a covert tax known as inflation.  Biden could care less about public sentiment.

“I am from the Government, and I am here to help.”

President Ronald Reagan’s famous quote addresses the folly of progressive policymaking. Dogmatic mandates and regulations don’t make our lives easier.

Montana gov. demands Biden halt Afghan resettlement in his state after evacuee is charged with rape

Montana’s governor has called for a halt in the resettlement of refugees from Afghanistan after an evacuee was charged with rape. In a letter sent to President Joe Biden on Wednesday, Gov. Greg Gianforte said that while he welcomes evacuees fleeing the Taliban to the state, he had “grave concerns” about the vetting process.

“The system requires a careful, immediate reevaluation,” wrote Gianforte. “As governor, the safety, security, and wellbeing of Montanans is my top priority. Tragic events over the last few weeks, including one in Montana, have brought to the front issues with your vetting system,” he added.

Gianforte was referring to the recent arrest of 19-year-old Zabihullah Mohmand, who was charged with sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman. According to court documents, the victim called 911 early on the morning of Oct. 17 to report that she had been raped. For his part, Mohmand claimed the sex was consensual.

NBC Montana reported last week that Mohmand was an Afghan evacuee resettled in Missoula as part of the federal government’s resettlement program. Gianforte told Biden that he wanted a halt to the resettlement program until certain issues were resolved, specifically an explanation on how the federal government vetted Mohmand,  details on reforms that will be made to the vetting system, a commitment by the federal government to cover all costs tied to Mohmand’s prosecution, imprisonment and possible deportation.

Montana’s governor is not the only elected official in Montana demanding answers from the Biden administration. Last week, Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas asking for detailed information about the justification for why Mohmand received humanitarian parole status. Specifically, Daines asked, “Did Mr. Mohmand work with U.S. armed forces in Afghanistan or any other government entity?” He went on to condemn the administration’s generic statements concerning the sexual assault in Missoula as “deeply insufficient.”

In a statement obtained by the Montana-based news outlet KULR, a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security said: “Before individuals are permitted to enter the United States, they are subject to rigorous, multi-layered screening and vetting processes that involve biometric and biographic screenings conducted by intelligence, law enforcement, and counterterrorism professionals from the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, FBI, National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), and additional Intelligence Community partners.”

Mohmand is not the only Afghan refugee to face criminal charges for actions they took after arriving in the U.S. Last month, a grand jury charged two Afghan men with crimes while residing at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The unrelated cases involved 20-year-old Bahrullah Noori, who’s facing charges for attempting to have sex with a minor and three counts of engaging in a sex act with a minor, all by force. The other case involves 32-year-old Mohammad Haroon Imaad, who’s facing charges of strangling and suffocating his wife.

“Noori and Imaad were charged previously in complaints filed in U.S. District Court,” explained a U.S. Department of Justice press release on Sept. 22. “If convicted, Noori faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 30 years and a maximum of life in federal prison on the charges alleging use of force, and a maximum penalty of 15 years on the other two charges.  Imaad faces a maximum penalty of 10 years.”

Earlier this month, Reuters reported that more than 700 Afghans who were flown to the U.S. had left their temporary housing on U.S. bases before completing their resettlement process. U.S. officials said that those departures involved Afghans who had been screened for any security issues and many were believed to already have family in the area.

Other concerns that have been raised involve child brides evacuated out of Afghanistan who were brought to Fort McCoy in Wisconsin and transit sites overseas. Last month, a State Department document showed that it sought “urgent guidance” from other agencies on what to do because child marriage is illegal in the U.S. and some girls said they had been raped.

Biden State Dept. increases number of Americans left behind in Afghanistan

The Biden administration, which had been saying for weeks that the number of Americans still left behind in Afghanistan and urgently want to be evacuated was about 100, has now increased the number to about 200. State Department spokesman Ned Price said last week that while the U.S. airlifted out dozens of people in the past couple days, more people had come forward in recent weeks expressing a desire to leave and the number is somewhere between 100 and 200, The Washington Times reported.

Sen. Ben Sasse, a Republican from Nebraska, criticized the Biden administration.

“For weeks, their official number was ‘about a hundred’ and it magically never changed — as Americans slowly got out the total number never went down. Now they say more than 300 Americans are still in Afghanistan,” Sasse was quoted as saying.

The number quoted by Sasse includes Americans who, according to the State Department, haven’t said they want to leave. Price, however, claimed that the “proven ability” of the U.S. in airlifting people out is behind the higher number of people wanting to flee.

Following the drawing down of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, the Taliban quickly seized control of much of the country, taking the capital Kabul in August and forcing the government to flee. Afghanistan’s interim government includes more than a dozen leaders who are designated terrorists and ex-Guantanamo detainees.

Meanwhile, Aman Khalili, an Afghan interpreter who helped rescue Biden in 2008, when he was a senator, after a helicopter he and other senators were riding on had to make an emergency landing in Afghanistan, was able to escape earlier this month. U.S. veterans worked with former Afghan soldiers and Pakistani allies to help Khalili cross the border into Pakistan with his family, The Wall Street Journal reported.

“Aman helped keep me and other Americans safe while we were fighting in Afghanistan, and we wanted to return the favor,” said Brian Genthe, a combat veteran, was quoted as saying. “He’s a blessing.”

Last month, the Taliban declared they will carry out executions and other brutal punishments, including amputations, under Islamic Sharia law as part of their rule in Afghanistan.

“Cutting off of hands is very necessary for security,” Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, a member of the Taliban’s interim government and chief enforcer of the group’s strict interpretation of Sharia law, told The Associated Press. “Everyone criticized us for the punishments in the stadium, but we have never said anything about their laws and their punishments. No one will tell us what our laws should be. We will follow Islam and we will make our laws on the Quran.”

Turabi, who is under U.N. sanctions, also said the new government may consider carrying out such punishments in public. The Taliban have banned all demonstrations and have violently cracked down on protests, including beating women and killing demonstrators. The Taliban are arresting, and in some instances executing, people they perceive as their enemies, Christian missionary David Eubank, a former U.S. Army Special Forces and Ranger officer, said in an earlier interview with CBN News. Eubank also said recent photos and video suggest they’re killing as many as 30 to 40 people at a time.

“They [the Taliban] are hunting down people right now, trying to get all the names of anyone they perceive as an enemy,” Eubank said, adding that the enemies include “people who work with the U.S. government, people who are with other governments, people who work with nongovernmental organizations they don’t agree with.”
