Iran Threatens to Hit United States Military Bases With Ballistic Missiles

Reported By Gabrielle Cintorino | November 2, 2017 at 1:32pm

URL of the original posting site: https://conservativetribune.com/iran-u-s-military-missiles/?

Ratcheting up tensions in the Middle East — and raising the potential for conflict — a top Iranian general is warning that the Islamic Republic has missiles that can strike all U.S. military bases in the region.

According to Reuters, Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made the announcement Tuesday in response to news that the U.S. House of Representatives had voted last week for new sanctions on Iran’s missile program.

“Our missiles’ range is 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles), and that can be increased, but we believe this range is enough for the Islamic Republic as most of the U.S. forces and most of their interests in the region are within this range,” Jafari said ominously.

“Americans are trying to impose new sanctions against the Revolutionary Guards for its missile program, but that is an excuse to harm Iran’s economy,” Jafari continued.

The sanctions the House approved are only related to its missile program, and are technically separate from the Obama-era nuclear deal with Iran, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. But President Donald Trump opened the door to the action when he decertified that agreement in October, calling it the “worst deal ever made,” according to CNN.

The agreement former President Barack Obama reached with the murderous mullahs of Tehran lifted economic sanctions on Iran in return for a “limited nuclear program” to be used for benefit of its citizenry and not for the manufacture of weapons.

After it was reached in July 2015, however, even Obama administration insiders have admitted the White House manipulated the American media and ultimately deceived the American people about the true nature of the deal.

And now Iran seems to be boasting about its military capabilities in an armed conflict with the United States.

According to Fox News, Jafari sounded like a general ready to fight.

American political and military leaders “know that if they begin a war between Iran and the United States, they will definitely be the main losers and their victory will by no means be guaranteed,” Jafari said.

“Therefore, they won’t start a war,” he declared.

Considering the history of Iran has been unbridled hostility toward the United States since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, no American leader — least of all President Trump — can take these words lightly.

The more America learns about Obama’s Iran deal, and the more Iranians boast about their capabilities, the worse Obama’s legacy looks for endangering American security.

Hopefully, President Donald Trump will take the appropriate action to keep the American people and its armed forces safe, no matter where they are in the world.

North Korea Caught Trying To Aid Syria’s Chemical Weapons Program

Reported

URL of the original posting site: http://www.westernjournalism.com/north-korea-caught-trying-aid-syrias-chemical-weapons-program/

North Korea has been caught twice in recent months trying to send Syria the materials needed to make chemical weapons, according to a United Nations report.

“The panel is investigating reported prohibited chemical, ballistic missile and conventional arms cooperation between Syria and the DPRK (North Korea),” the United Nations committee reported.

“Two member states interdicted shipments destined for Syria. Another member state informed the panel that it had reasons to believe that the goods were part of a KOMID contract with Syria,” the report stated, using the acronym for the Korea Mining Development Trading Corporation, which has been blacklisted by the Security Council for arms dealing.

The report did not say when the weapons were intercepted. The intercepted shipments were bound for Syria’s Scientific Studies and Research Center, which has overseen Syria’s chemical weapons program.

Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former head of the British military’s chemical, biological and radiological weapons program, said North Korea has been selling its chemical stockpile.

“Syria’s chemical weapons program was basically built up by Iran and Russia,” he said. “But the North Koreans have been desperate for currency and have been happy to sell technology to anyone. It has always been a real concern that they would sell their chemical and nuclear expertise.

“Let’s hope it doesn’t speak to a wider involvement in the (chemical weapons) sphere, especially by the jihadis,” he said.

An organization called the Nuclear Threat Initiative said North Korea “may possess between 2,500 and 5,000 tons of (chemical warfare) agents.

“The South Korean government assesses that North Korea is able to produce most types of chemical weapons indigenously, although it must import some precursors to produce nerve agents, which it has done in the past,” the site said.

“At maximum capacity, North Korea is estimated to be capable of producing up to 12,000 tons of CW. Nerve agents such as Sarin and VX are thought to be the focus of North Korean production,” it said.

In April, Syria used chemical weapons to attack a rebel-held village, prompting an armed response form the United States.

How an Iranian front group infiltrated 41 US universities

An Islamic “charity” recently convicted of acting as a front group for the regime in Iran has financed and installed Iran-friendly professors and curriculums at 44 universities across North America – and 41 of those schools are located in the United States.

In late June, a New York jury ruled that the Alavi Foundation is directly linked to the Iranian regime, allowing the feds to seize the Manhattan building that provided revenue for the organization’s nationwide influence operations. Prosecutors called the conviction the “largest terrorism-related civil forfeiture in United States history.”

Alavi used a multi-pronged approach to embed itself into American society. From financing pro-Tehran Shiite cultural centers and mosques to donating heavily to the infamous Clinton Foundation, the regime-connected outfit sought to win over hearts and minds in its clandestine efforts.

A primary focus of the foundation continues to be installing Iran-friendly professors and curriculums into American universities. Over the past few years, the Alavi Foundation has increased its college and university financing efforts by about 50 percent.

Alavi claims that its goal is simply to offer courses on Persian language, Iranian studies and the Islamic culture with a focus on Shiite studies.” However, analysts continue to note that several programs connected to Alavi involve controversial pro-Tehran professors and a morally obtuse curriculum.

From 2013 to 2016, the Alavi foundation’s academic funding efforts exploded from 30 to 44 colleges and universities in North America. Over 90 percent of recipients are United States schools.

The following institutions receive grants from the Alavi Foundation, according to one of its 2016 fundraising appeals:

Bard College; Boston University; Brandeis University; Columbia University; Drew University; Eastern Mennonite University; George Mason University; Hartford Seminary; Harvard University; Harvard University Law School; Lake Forest University; Sacred Heart University; University of Chicago; Binghamton University; Cal State, Fullerton; Cal State, Los Angeles; Cal State, Northridge; Carleton University (Canada); City College of New York; Concordia University; Georgia State University; CUNY Hunter College; Kutztown University; McGill University (Canada); Ohio State University; Portland State University; Rutgers University; San Diego State University; Temple University; University of Alberta (Canada); University of Arizona; University of California, Berkeley; University of California, Los Angeles; University of Florida; University of Maryland; University of Michigan; University of Southern California; University of Texas, Austin; University of Utah; University of Virginia; University of Wisconsin, Madison; University of Pennsylvania; Utah State University.

Alavi has entered into a cost-sharing agreement with many of these universities, facilitating deals that support the hiring of tenure-track professors. One such report found that these professors are sympathetic to the Iranian dictatorship.”

It may not come as a shock — given what we now know about the extent of the pro-Tehran group — that many of the professors supported by Alavi-backed programming have pursued a radically pro-Tehran agenda.

Rutgers professor Hooshang Amirahmadi is the leader of the American Iranian Council, a group that has offered support for the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations, according to the New York Post.

University of Maryland research scholar Ebrahim Mohseni produced a much-disputed poll that showed wide support for Iran’s extremely anti-Semitic former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Over at Harvard University, visiting scholar Ali Akbar Alikhani penned a white paper calling for a world governed by the Quran. He also wrote a book review on “the Jewish threat” to other world religions.

Moreover, the foundation poured $100,000 into Columbia University’s coffers after the NYC school agreed to host former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

During the heated debate over whether the U.S. should sign on to a nuclear agreement with Iran, the National Iranian American Council (which has its own extensive links to the regime) published a pro-Iran-deal letter endorsed by 73 “Middle East and International Relations Scholars.” Coincidentally or not, dozens of professors on the list came from institutions that received Alavi Foundation money.

These are but a handful of the “success” stories on college campuses funded by the Alavi Foundation’s academic grants. Given the group’s alleged connections to Iran’s sophisticated intelligence apparatus, it’s quite possible that its campaigns have had alarming, extensive success in winning over the hearts and minds of college students.

Now that Alavi has been ruled a front for the Iranian regime, it’s unclear what will become of its programming inside dozens of American universities. The seized Manhattan skyscraper acted as the major revenue stream for the foundation’s efforts throughout the nation, and it’s unclear whether the group can sustain its funding while going through serious legal proceedings.

For years, the Alavi Foundation funneled cash through a regime that hosts Friday prayers ending in “Death to America.” Now that Alavi has been exposed, only time will tell whether the 41 U.S. institutions will continue to act in a morally bankrupt manner and continue to accept dirty money from a front group forwarding the agenda of an enemy nation.

Report: Growing Islamic Extremism In Latin America Poses ‘Major Security Threat’ To US

Reported by Photo of Peter Hasson Peter Hasson | Associate Editor | 12:02 AM 03/30/2017

Growing Islamic extremism in Latin America constitutes a “major security threat” to the United States, according to an analysis published this month by the National Center for Policy Analysis.

“The threat from Islamic extremists in Latin America remains an overlooked aspect of U.S. national security strategy,” NCPA senior fellow David Grantham argued.

Grantham noted thatSaudi Arabia has invested millions to construct mosques and cultural centers in South America and Central America that expand the reach of its rigid version of Islam, known as Wahhabism.”

“The international spread of Saudi dogma, which the State Department’s first special representative to Muslim communities worldwide, Farah Pandith, called ‘insidious,’ has laid the foundation for likeminded radicals to thrive in other areas of Latin America,” he explained.

Later in the brief, Grantham noted that the “threats to U.S. security in the Greater Caribbean region are even more alarming in Trinidad and Tobago. The small island nation off the coast of Venezuela, once the target of an overthrow by Islamic militants, has also become a breeding ground for ISIS — 70 of the 100 Latin Americans known to have joined ISIS originated from the small country.”

The ease of mobility Islamic extremists have in Latin America is also cause for concern.

“Islamic extremism thrives where there is illicit finance and relative ease of movement across national and international borders. The mobility of terrorists throughout Latin America poses a serious problem,” Grantham stated.

Perhaps the greatest Islamic extremist threat in Latin America, though, is the Islamic Republic of Iran, which Grantham said could potentially strike the US from Latin America as a retaliatory act.

“The Islamic Republic has the capability and infrastructure to strike the United States from Latin America, but experts disagree over whether it would take that risk,” Grantham writes. “Experts consistently discuss the likelihood of a preemptive or first strike attack on the United States, though, which creates too high a standard. Instead, the argument should focus on the prospect of retaliatory attack.”

Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton also warned of Iranian sponsored terrorism through Latin American “proxies” during a 2013 off-the-record speech to Goldman Sachs employees that was made public by WikiLeaks.

“If we had a map up behind us you would be able to see Iranian sponsored terrorism directly delivered by Iranians themselves, mostly through the Revolutionary Guard Corps, the operatives, or through Islah or other proxies from to Latin American to Southeast Asia,” Clinton said.

“The growth of extremist activity in Latin America is a major security threat. The prospects of retaliation from Iran, in particular, should not discourage action against Iran where necessary but should heighten awareness regarding the high probability of revenge attacks,” Grantham concluded. “Iran’s influence in Latin America and extremists, in general, demand new national security strategies in the region. Such an approach could begin with U.S. support to allied governments that improves their intelligence capabilities, and with targeted financial interdiction strategies.”

The brief can be read in its entirety here.

Trump signs new extreme vetting order

President Trump signed a new executive order Monday that temporarily bans visitors from six Middle East and African counties while the administration creates an extreme vetting program, taking pains to remove the pitfalls of the original order and the perception that it’s a “Muslim ban.”

The new order also dropped Iraq from the list of seven predominately Muslim countries covered by the original Jan. 27 executive order that was blocked by federal courts. The ban will be phased in over a 10-day period to avoid the chaos at airports following the original executive order that caught travelers in transit, and the wording has been changed to avoid suspicions that it is a “Muslim ban,” said a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official.

“We are going to have a very smooth implementation period,” said the official, who spoke to reporters on condition of anonymity. “The motivation behind it is a real concern by the American people for their security.”

The 90-day halt of visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen will take full effect March 16, according to the official.

The official stressed that the Trump administration was confident that the original executive order would have eventually prevailed in court, but for expediency the president opted for a new order that addressed the courts’ concerns. The inclusion of Iraq in the original ban raised objections from some U.S. military officials and the Iraq government because of special consideration previously given to Iraqis who aided in the war effort, including translators. The administration said Iraq was removed from the list, despite the presence of Islamic State fighters in the county, because of extra steps the Iraq government was taking to share information and assist the U.S. in vetting travelers.

“As a result of this increased information sharing, Iraqi citizens are not affected by the Executive Order. Of course, all normal immigration processing requirements continue to apply, including the grounds of inadmissibility that may be applicable,” according to the fact sheet.

In an attempt to demonstrate that the order is not a “Muslim ban,” which was a chief criticism of the original order based on Mr. Trump’s comments during the campaign, the new order removes language that exempted religious minorities from the targeting predominately Muslim countries.

The new order exempts people who currently have visas or legal “green card” status in the U.S., a carve-out that was not included in the original order.

The modifications did not satisfy Mr. Trump’s critics.

“This isn’t about keeping America safe. Let’s call it what it is. This ban is a racist and anti-Islamic attempt to divide us up,” tweeted Sen. Bernard Sanders, the Vermont independent who emerged as a leading voice for the left after his 2016 run for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Another court challenge is likely for Mr. Trump’s order. Omar Jadwat, director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, said the new order had the “same fatal flaws” as the last one.

“The only way to actually fix the Muslim ban is not to have a Muslim ban,” he said. “Instead, President Trump has recommitted himself to religious discrimination, and he can expect continued disapproval from both the courts and the people.”

Jon Rainwater, executive director of the liberal activist group Peach Action, said the order was “the same Muslim ban with a fresh haircut, and a botched one at that.”

“It still blocks refugees and travelers from six Muslim-majority countries. It still violates core American values of religious tolerance and providing refuge to those fleeing violence and persecution. It still makes Americans less safe by feeding into the recruitment narratives of violent extremists,” he said. “There’s no evidence that banning travelers based on nationality actually protects anyone.”

The administration has delayed the signing as it works with federal agencies that will be responsible for enforcing the new order. The order on tougher vetting of travelers from terror-prone nations was one of Mr. Trump’s campaign pledges, and he signed the original order shortly after taking office. But a federal judge in Seattle blocked the action, and a panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the injunction. Since then, the administration has been working on a new directive while defending the initial order in court. In an address to Congress last week, Mr. Trump said his actions are justified due to national security concerns.

The extreme vetting program will include:

• Uniform screening standards for all immigration programs government-wide, as developed by DHS in conjunction with the Director of National Intelligence and State and Justice departments.

• A biometric entry-exit system for all targeted travelers entering and departing the U.S.

• A review by the State Department of all non-immigrant visa reciprocity agreements to ensure that they are, with respect to each visa classification, truly reciprocal.

• New restriction on the Visa Interview Waiver Program and additional non-immigrant visa applicants will have to undergo in-person interview.

The executive order also temporarily halts the acceptance of new refugees into the U.S. for 120 days while DHS and other agencies review screening procedures to ensure refugees admitted in the future do not pose a security risk, according to a fact sheet provided by the Trump administration. In another change from the original order, Syrian refugees will not be subject to a permanent ban.

Upon resumption of the Refugee Admissions Program, the executive order calls for refugee admissions not exceed 50,000 for fiscal 2017, cutting by more than half the 110,000 refugees projected to be admitted this year under Obama administration guidelines.

Supporting claims that the U.S. is at risk because of its refugee policies, administration officials said that of the FBI’s 1,000 ongoing anti-terrorism investigations, 300 cases involved suspected terrorists who came to the country as refugees.

Unlike the public signing ceremony for the original order that Mr. Trump attended at the Pentagon on Jan. 27, the president signed the new immigration order at the White House without press coverage.

Iranian Officer and Government Advisor says Iran has Supporters in the USA ready to Attack

waving flag disclaimerwarning-unvetted-postAuthored By Onan Coca February 28, 2017

Hassan Abbassi

We have Iranian activist Banafhseh Zand to thank for once again revealing to us the danger that we face from the Muslim world. In a recent post to his Twitter feed, Zand exposes the threat that Iran (one of the nation’s on Trump’s travel “ban” order) poses to the United States.against-america

The threat is voiced by Hassan Abbassi, who happens to be an officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard of Iran and heads up a think-tank that provides counsel for the Iranian government’s leadership. He is an important supporter of former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and he is a trusted advisor to the Supreme Leader the Ayatollah Khamenei.

I say all of this so that you understand that when Abbassi speaks of foreign policy issues, particularly ones that pertain to the USA, we should be paying attention. The man has a lot of influence in Iranian politics.

Recently, Banafhseh Zand happened to get a hold of a video that showed Abbassi explaining that Iran had many loyal supporters in the United States who were ready, willing, and waiting to attack.

“We have 2 million Iranians there (in the USA) be certain that I will raise a guerilla army from amongst them against you, you know this well.

Look how vulnerable you were on 9/11 when 4 Arabs from Saudi who don’t know how to fight managed to endanger your foundations. Yet with us, you face a nation even stronger. Don’t forget, we have 7,000 PhD holders in the U.S. If only 11 people created 9/11, do you realize what we can do?

We don’t need nuclear weapons, you have 6000 nuclear warheads those warheads are our target for our guerillas to destroy. Not even an Iranian guerilla movement but we have people from ALL Islamic countries…

We will guide anyone who has problems with the U.S. We have identified the U.S.’s Achilles heel…”

The threat is real, folks, and it’s time we demand our government and our media take the threat seriously. Liberals must be forced to stop playing politics with our lives and get proactive about our national defense.America Never Forget

US sanctions Iran for ballistic missile launch

The U.S. slapped new sanctions on Iran on Friday after the Trump administration signaled it wanted to punish Tehran for its latest ballistic missile test.

The Treasury Department announced that 13 people and 12 companies face new restrictions, including several entities that support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and help the Iranian government procure materials for its missile program.

The individuals and companies — based in Iran, China, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates — are banned from doing business with U.S. institutions or American citizens.

Foreign nationals who provide support for them could be subject to additional U.S. sanctions, a senior administration official said.President Trump and his top aides have said they won’t tolerate provocative acts like the missile test that occurred Sunday, calling it a violation of a United Nations Security Council resolution. The White House also included Iran on a list of nations whose citizens face a temporary ban on travel to the U.S.  The more aggressive posture is a departure from the approach of former President Barack Obama, who sought closer ties with Tehran.

“Iran is playing with fire — they don’t appreciate how ‘kind’ President Obama was to them. Not me!” Trump tweeted Friday morning.

Two days earlier, national security adviser Michael Flynn made a rare appearance before the White House press corps to announce the administration is putting Iran “on notice.”  The approach has been cheered by national security hawks and congressional Republicans who criticized Obama for taking what they said was too soft of an approach toward Iran.

“This swift and decisive response proves that our new administration is serious about holding the Iranian regime accountable for its illicit behavior,” Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said in a statement.

Trump’s move also escalated tensions with Iran, which has said the missile tests are within their rights to conduct.

“Iran unmoved by threats as we derive security from our people. We’ll never initiate war, but we can only rely on our own means of defense,” Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter before the announcement.

While Trump has taken a tougher rhetorical line against Iran, Friday’s sanctions are similar to penalties imposed by Obama in response to Iran’s previous ballistic missile tests.

The decision to issue sanctions came after a review by the White House and agencies, officials said. While the Treasury Department has long researched new Iranian targets for sanctions, one official said “the launch of the missile was the triggering event.”

But the new punishments come after the Iran nuclear pact took effect last year, in which the U.S. and five nations lifted other sanctions related to the country’s nuclear program.

The Treasury Department said the fresh sanctions are “fully consistent with the United States’ commitments under the” nuclear agreement.

The U.S. did not reimpose penalties against individuals or entities who had sanctions against them lifted as part of the nuclear deal, a senior administration official said.

Oppression of women in America?

waving flagPosted by    Monday, January 23, 2017 at 7:00pm | 1/23/2017 – 7:00pm

URL of the original posting site: http://legalinsurrection.com/2017/01/oppression-of-women-in-america/

THIS is actual female oppression.

I worked in National Security at Breitbart, which made me very grateful to live in America. Every day I covered stories describing actual oppression of females. I bet you anything those females would love to have the cost of their birth control as their only worry.

Those marches made me ashamed of my sex since governments in other countries actually treat its female citizens like second class citizens. I will concentrate on three countries: Saudi Arabia, Iran, and India.

Saudi Arabia

A major American ally. While the country has slowly started making ways out of the stone age, they still live in one. Saudi law prohibits females from leaving the house without a male guardian. The females cannot travel or even conduct any official business without this guardian’s permission. This guardian must also make medical decisions for the female.

Yes, Leftists. In Saudi Arabia, a male MAKES YOUR MEDICAL DECISION. Last time I checked you guys did not need a male guardian to give you permission to even go to a doctor.

Oh, those disgusting vagina hats you wore? Good luck doing that in Saudi Arabia! Over there, females must keep their bodies covered except for hands and eyes. Now, in some areas a female can have her face uncovered. SO RADICAL, RIGHT?!

Did you enjoy socializing with the males who marched alongside you? In Saudi Arabia, sex segregation is a top priority. In fact, if someone catches you talking to a non-relative male, you can receive charges for adultery or prostitution! In June 2010, the courts sentenced four men and eleven men because they had the nerve for socializing at a party. Yeah, they got lashes and time in jail.

Did you drive to the marches? Because females in Saudi Arabia basically cannot drive. There are no laws, but restrictions basically make it impossible for females to enjoy driving a car. The governments force these citizens to receive a local license to drive and the places do not issue them to females. Rural areas allow a little flexibility.

I saw that the march in DC gave the metro a historic day. Yeah, Saudi Arabia does not like for its females to enjoy public transportation because God forbid they mingle with non-related males. THE HORROR.

I could go on, but let’s move to another country.

Iran

Ironically, females worked hard to overthrow the government in 1979. The result gave females an oppressive government with little rights.

Work in the government? You must abide by the Islamic dress code. The previous government banned the hijab, but this new government forced ALL females to wear it. No choice. So you go from one extreme to the other. How lovely. The government banned females from becoming judges. Females must wear the hijab out in public. Want an education? You have to wear the hijab to school.

Females cannot play sports! To make it worse, females cannot even watch the males play these sports.

Guess what happened in 2015? Iran proposed bills to OUTLAW VOLUNTARY STERILIZATION. Yup! LITERALLY NO BIRTH CONTROL. Females cannot even receive information about ways to prevent pregnancy.

Another proposed law propped up gender discrimination:

The Comprehensive Population and Exaltation of Family Bill (Bill 315), which is due to be discussed in parliament next month, would further entrench gender-based discrimination, particularly against women who choose not to or are unable to marry or have children.

The bill instructs all private and public entities to prioritize, in sequence, men with children, married men without children and married women with children when hiring for certain jobs. It also makes divorce more difficult and discourages police and judicial intervention in family disputes opening women up to increased risks of domestic violence.Islam is NOT

India

India remains one of the most dangerous places on this planet for females. In 2011, a poll placed it at number four. Acid attacks help keep India high in the poll because any female from any class can have this attack, mainly used as revenge. Thing is, many of the attacks go unpunished.

The government outlawed child marriage, but no one enforces it! A family can marry off their young daughter to a disgusting old man. The girl better not fight back or else the family will punish her. Then there are those pesky dowry gifts. If a female violates the marriage contract, husbands have been known to kill or punish the female. Her family rarely comes to her aide because she has shamed them.

In rural areas, females often face punishment if males in their house commit a crime:

In August, village leaders in Uttar Pradesh state allegedly ordered the rape of two Dalit sisters to pay for the “sins” of their brother who had eloped with a higher-caste woman. These unofficial village councils, called Khaps, made up of men from dominant castes who often enjoy political patronage, are known to issue edicts restricting women’s mobility and rights, and condemning couples for marrying outside their caste or religion.

India witnessed a massive spike in honor killings:

India has registered an almost 800 percent rise in the number of killings in the name of “honour” reported last year, according to figures presented in parliament.

Indian police registered 251 cases of honour killings in 2015, compared with 28 cases reported in 2014 when the government began counting them separately from murder, according to a statement this week by Junior Home Minister Hansraj G Ahir to India’s parliament.

These silly females actually thought they could marry outside of their class or clan! HOW DARE THEY TRY TO HAVE FREEDOM AND CHOOSE THEIR OWN HUSBAND!!! Yes, their families will kill or harm them if they do something like this.

Iran Just Made Another Big Move That Will Further Change The Face Of The Middle East

Syria appears to be getting its own version of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. With all eyes on Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest town, which is currently the scene of a decisive bloody battle between the Islamist Jaish al-Fatah rebel coalition and the Russian/Iranian backed Bashar al-Assad coalition, something huge is going on that is changing the face of the Middle East.

As Western Journalism has reported on several occasions, Iran is using the three major wars in the Middle East (Iraq, Syria and Yemen) to advance its agenda of establishing what the news site NOW Lebanon dubbed a new “Iranian Empire.”

Last week, the Iraqi government adopted a law that legalized the Iranian-financed and -trained Hashd al-Shaabi militia and made the umbrella organization of Shiite popular mobilization units part of the Iraqi security forces. The Hashd al-Shaabi militia is currently assisting Iran in turning Iraq into an Iranian client state while officially fighting the Islamic State. On Wednesday, NOW Lebanon, citing the Hezbollah-affiliated Arabic news site as-Safir, reported that Iran is doing something similar in Syria.Oh good

muslim-obamaNOW wrote that the al-Assad regime has decided to form a “Fifth Corps” of the Syrian army that will be led by senior Hezbollah commanders and most likely will include “a new force of elite troops within Hezbollah.”

Advertisement – story continues below

“The Fifth Corps is not just a new force being added to the system of Syrian army forces and allied units, it is an important turning point for the ties between allied forces within the same axis,” NOW quoted as-Safir as saying.

The Lebanese newspaper was referring to “the wide array of militia units, including Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed Shiite units, that fight on behalf of the Bashar al-Assad regime.”

NOW reported that “the Fifth Corps could be the ‘nucleus’ for a ‘Syrian National Mobilization,’ a reference to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Front umbrella front of militias given official sanction by the government.”

So just like Iraq, Syria appears to be getting its own version of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.picture1

Islam is NOT

It is another sign that Iran is advancing toward realizing the dream of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini by establishing a new Islamist “Persian Empire” in the Middle East and beyond.

“The only means that we possess to unite the Muslim nation, to liberate its lands from the grip of the colonialists and to topple the agent governments of colonialism, is to seek to establish our Islamic government,” Khomeini said at the outset of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Iran will no doubt preserve the puppet governments of al-Assad in Syria and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in Iraq, while the integrated Iranian-backed militias will maintain their independence and will obey Iranian orders just like Hezbollah in Lebanon. This model is based on the ancient Persian Empire, where local kings had to pledge allegiance to the Persian shah (emperor) who became “king of the kings” (shanshah).

The role of shanshah would now be fulfilled by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and just like in ancient Persia he will control the whole area from the Iranian border to the Mediterranean Sea in Lebanon.

The next step would probably be to expand Iranian control to the Persian Gulf, where Iran already controls Yemen via Ansar Allah, the Shiite Houthi militia that formed an alternative Yemenite government this week, and has set its sights on Saudi Arabia, where the Houthis are waging a missile war, and other Gulf states such as Bahrain and Qatar.

The only powers who saw this coming were Middle Eastern countries and especially Israel, which has unceasingly warned that Hezbollah and Iran had to be stopped and didn’t hesitate to take action when Iran transferred weapons to its proxies in the Middle East or took other actions that could advance its agenda of regional and eventually world domination.iran-takeover

Just Tuesday night, Israel took action against an Iranian arms delivery to Hezbollah when Israeli fighter jets fired missiles from Lebanese airspace into Syria. Arab and Iranian media reported that the Israeli war planes struck two targets with four missiles in the vicinity of Damascus. Two missiles hit a convoy of vehicles believed to have belonged to Hezbollah and to be transferring Iranian weapons to the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. The other two missiles hit a military compound of the Syrian army near Damascus.

The Obama administration, meanwhile, was busy trying to persuade Congress not to renew sanctions against Iran when the current sanctions regime expires at the end of the year.

“I wouldn’t advise that for a number of reasons,” Secretary of State John Kerry said at a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the budget of the State Department.

Missile Fired At US Destroyer Near Yemen; Second Attack In Four Days

The USS Mason came under attack Wednesday and fired its weapons after at least one missile was launched at the Navy destroyer from a part of Yemen controlled by rebels supported by Iran. Navy officials said the Mason appeared to have brought down an incoming missile with its firepower. The ship was not hit, officials said.

The destroyer was also the target of a failed missile attack on Sunday.

The crew of the Mason was praised for its actions in defending the ship.

“The team in USS Mason demonstrated initiative and toughness as they defended themselves and others against these unfounded attacks over the weekend and again today,” Chief of Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson said.

“All Americans should be proud of them,” he said.

The Pentagon said a response will be forthcoming.

“Those who threaten our forces should know that U.S. commanders retain the right to defend their ships, and we will respond to this threat at the appropriate time and in the appropriate manner,” said Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook.

The U.S. has so far supported Saudi Arabian efforts against the rebels, but has not engaged in direct action.

The incident took place north of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Pentagon said. The area is controlled by Houthi revels seeking to overthrow the shaky government of Yemen.

“Targeting U.S. warships is a sign that the Houthis have decided to join the axis of resistance that currently includes Lebanese Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran,” said Michael Knights, an expert on Yemen’s conflict at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

The Houthis have denied they have attacked a U.S. warship, but U.S. officials are skeptical of that claim of innocence.

Reuters reported that the missiles used in the attack Sunday were coastal defense cruise missiles with considerable range. U.S. officials suspect Iran is arming the rebels.

US military: Iranian behavior getting worse in Persian Gulf

Iran has stepped up its harassment of U.S. Navy ships in the Persian Gulf, angering the U.S. military and members of Congress.  Since the international nuclear deal with Iran was implemented in early January, the number of incidents involving U.S. and Iranian ships in the Gulf has approximately doubled. The Navy has counted at least 31 interactions with Iranian naval forces deemed “unsafe,” “unprofessional,” or both, according to a defense official. That’s about as many such interactions that occurred all of last year, according to statistics provided to Fox News.

And those are also only counting interactions that have met the criteria of “unsafe” or “unprofessional.” Overall, there were more than 300 interactions between U.S. and Iranian forces last year. That figure includes incidents in which Iranian vessels waited for and followed U.S. ships transiting in the Persian Gulf, or sailed by with their weapons uncovered, in addition to other incidents of muscle flexing considered routine. Military officials say there is no question that the behavior is getting worse.

“We’ve seen an uptick in confrontations by Iranian vessels in the Arabian Gulf,” Army Gen. Joseph Votel, the top U.S. commander in the region, said on Aug. 30. U.S. military officials refer to the Persian Gulf as the Arabian Gulf.

Votel also issued a rare warning to Iranian forces: “Ultimately if they continue to test us we’re going to respond and we’re going to protect ourselves and our partners.”

The last confrontation occurred just last Sunday, when seven Iranian fast attack boats confronted a U.S. Navy coastal patrol boat in international waters in the Persian Gulf.  When one of the Iranian vessels stopped directly in the path and within about 100 yards of the USS Firebolt, the U.S. vessel had to swerve to avoid a collision, defense officials said.

The confrontations are fueling anger on Capitol Hill and providing new arguments for lawmakers to enact anti-Iran legislation. Earlier this week, a group of Republican senators introduced legislation that would ban any further U.S. government payments to Iran from a Treasury Department fund, until Iran returned $1.7 billion the administration sent to Iran earlier this year to settle a dispute over an arms deal from the 1970s. fire-cash-pallet

“Iran’s harassment of a U.S. naval vessel is just the latest example of troubling and unsurprising behavior by the regime following the Obama administration’s parade of serious policy blunders that have emboldened Tehran and invited increased belligerence,” said Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), one of the bill’s sponsors, in a statement Thursday.

Ayotte, who faces a tough reelection contest this year, also expressed concern that the money would buy “additional Iranian ships to harass U.S. Navy vessels,” among other weapons.

“I am deeply troubled that this large infusion of U.S. taxpayer-funded cash into the defense coffers of the world’s worst state sponsor of terrorism is going to further embolden Iran and result in our troops and our allies confronting more lethal and better equipped adversaries and potential adversaries,” she said.

The administration has insisted that any money going to Iran as a result of the Iran nuclear deal is not going to Iran’s military.

“What they’ve told us but also what we see, instead of going to the military, the money is being poured back into the economy because this is an economy that was suffering terribly,” Antony Blinken, U.S. deputy secretary of State, said Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day.” Leftist Propagandist

However, Blinken also said he could not guarantee that none of the money reached Hezbollah and other terrorist allies.

“We can’t say not one single dollar. But what we can say, based on what we’ve seen so far, is that virtually all of it is going into the economy, not into the military,” he said.

“The bottom line is this, this agreement that we’ve reached has made us safer. It’s put far into the future the day when Iran could enough material for nuclear weapons,” he said.extra bowl of stupid

U.S. officials say they can’t divine Iran’s intentions with the stepped up confrontations, but indicate the regime is directly behind them.

“What I see is this is principally the regime leadership trying to exert their influence and authority in the region,” Votel said.

Votel also said that “90 percent” of the unsafe, unprofessional activities come not from the “general Iranian navy,” but from the Iranian Quds Force, which experts say has close ties to the Iranian regime. Experts also expect that the confrontations will get worse.

“During the final phases of the nuclear deal negotiations, they toned it down a bit just so they wouldn’t throw the negotiations too far off track,” said the Institute for the Study of War’s Chris Harmer.

“Now that the deal is done, my expectation is that the harassment is going to escalate and probably increase beyond anything that we’ve seen,” Harmer said. pitiful-deal-nrd-600

Iran Wants More Pallets of Cash

waving flagAugust 9, 2016By

I wonder if now that the Obama administration has paid the ransom “we owed” the Iranian regime, whether it will set a precedent for others to put their hands out and demand, or at least request funds from the U.S. treasury?

Heck, even before the precedent, the Israeli government asked the U.S. to bump up its annual military stipend from $3 billion to $5 billion. Those dirty, money-grubbing Jews – asking for an additional $2 billion. You might think that, but they are blaming the Obama administration for the fact that they must request it in the first place.

It seems the Middle East is poised to get a lot more dangerous thanks to the huge infusion of cash which was part of the US-Iran nuclear agreement. So thanks to Obama, Israel expects to have to spend a lot more on defense. They do have a point.

Now in, we’ll call the post-ransom period, another has come forward asking for cash. Our old buddy, “former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is asking President Obama to release nearly $2 billion in Iranian assets frozen in a New York bank account.”

The Hill reports that Mahmoud is back and may be considering dealanother run for president next year.

I guess he plans to return to the election circuit as the conquering hero, with $1.75 billion in tow.

However, as you may recall – this is the same $1.75 billion that the supreme Court voted 6-2 to disperse over 1,000 victims of various terrorist atrocities perpetrated on Americans over the years, “including the 1983 bombing of a Marine barracks in Beirut and the 1996 attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Khobar towers…”

“Iran is appealing the case at the international Court of Justice.” Court of Justice. Sounds like a place where superheroes gather. Not quite – more like super-leftists.

pallets-of-cash-to-iranBut Mahmoud isn’t content to leave it in the hands of the courts. He instead has penned an open letter to Obama.

After a full paragraph of praising Allah and Mohammed, he gets down to it, spending the next couple paragraphs buttering up Obama – telling him that basically nothing is his fault. Birds of a feather, I suppose, as Obama has said the same for years.

However, Mahmoud doesn’t mention Bush specifically as does Obama – just past administrations that have been responsible for “about 60 years of oppression and cruelty by different American governments against the Iranian nation…”extra bowl of stupid

He then cites the supreme Court case which he claims illegally seized Iranian assets. He asks for “his Excellency,” Obama to “quickly fix” the problem and “that not only the Iranian nations must be restored, and the seized property released and returned, but also the damages caused be fully compensated for.”

Iran-ATM-600-LIWow – he sure knows the American legal system. If he loses his bid for the presidency, Mahmoud could no doubt become a slip and fall lawyer. And he also knows Obama, the leftist, as he plays to Obama’s legacy. “I passionately advise you not to let the historical affirmation and bitter incident be recorded under your name,” writes Mahmoud.

I don’t know whether Obama has the authority to release the funds the court has already allocated. Of course I also don’t think the court should have the authority, regardless of the good cause.

In my opinion, if Obama does “find” the authority, he would certainly get out the forklift again and load up the unmarked jet with more pallets of Euros. Anything for his pals in Iran.

Did Hillary Clinton’s Emails Get an Undercover Agent Killed?

waving flagBy Onan Coca August 8, 2016

This past week Iran announced that they had indeed executed nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri. Amiri likely defected to the United States in 2009 but eventually (for reasons unknown to the public) wanted to return to Iran. Amiri began making public statements that he had been kidnapped by the American and Saudi governments and that he was being held against his will in the United States. It caused a bit of an international incident and some slight embarrassment for the Obama administration. However, it appears likely that his protestations were merely for dramatic effect because he wanted to return to Iran without being punished for his defection.

Amiri was returned to Iran in 2010 and was welcomed back to much pomp and circumstance. He was greeted as a hero returning from the clutches of an evil villain, but that warm welcome was short-lived. He soon disappeared.

Last year his family said that they believed he was serving a 10-year sentence in a secret prison, but today we know that they were wrong. Amiri had been found guilty of a capital crime and the sentence has been carried out.

While the story is one that should embarrass American officials, it should outrage every American. Not because a spy was captured and killed but because of how it may have happened.

You see, Amiri was unmasked as a spy in the leaked Clinton emails. We have no way to know for sure if the Iranians learned Amiri was a spy because of Hillary’s terrible security… but we do know they most certainly could have. Had anti-American forces gotten Clinton’s emails they could have sold (or given) this information to Iran in an effort to embarrass or hurt our cause.

An email forwarded to Clinton by senior adviser Jake Sullivan on July 5, 2010 — just nine days before Amiri returned to Tehran — appears to reference the scientist.

“We have a diplomatic, ‘psychological’ issue, not a legal one. Our friend has to be given a way out,” the email by Richard Morningstar, a former State Department special envoy for Eurasian energy, read. “Our person won’t be able to do anything anyway. If he has to leave, so be it.”

Another email, sent by Sullivan on July 12, 2010, appears to obliquely refer to the scientist just hours before his appearance at the Pakistani Embassy became widely known.

“The gentleman … has apparently gone to his country’s interests section because he is unhappy with how much time it has taken to facilitate his departure,” Sullivan wrote. “This could lead to problematic news stories in the next 24 hours.”

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) hit on this possibility while speaking to John Dickerson on CBS’ Face the Nation.

“I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman. That goes to show just how reckless and careless her decision was to put that kind of highly classified information on a private server. And I think her judgment is not suited to keep this country safe.Never-Hillary-Egl-smThe entire episode is simply another reminder that Hillary Clinton has done more to damage our nation and our planet than any other candidate for President in recent history. Considering her failures in Libya, Russia, Iraq, Yemen, Iran, and her email scandal… how anyone could seriously be considering voting for her as our next president is truly baffling. Hillary Clinton does not belong anywhere near the Oval Office and this latest incident is more proof of that fact.

Obama Admin Brushes Off Intel Iran Is Buying Nuke, Missile Materials

A missile is displayed during a military parade in Tehran / AP

Germany’s internal intelligence agency concluded in a recent report that sources have witnessed “extensive Iranian attempts” to procure illicit materials, “especially goods that can be used in the field of nuclear technology,” according to the report. The report appears to show that Iran is not upholding its most critical commitments under the nuclear deal.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel made it clear this week that the intelligence shows “Iran continued unabated to develop its rocket program in conflict with the relevant provisions of the UN Security Council,” particularly one Security Council resolution that bars Iran from pursuing ballistic missile technology.

The intelligence report and subsequent warnings were met with a tepid response from the Obama administration, which declined to comment on the intelligence and told the Free Beacon that it continues to view Iran as complying with the nuclear accord.Suicide-USA-NRD-600

The administration’s response stands in sharp contrast to that of leading GOP lawmakers, who told the Free Beacon that the White House is intentionally ignoring Iran’s bad behavior.

“We believe that Iran is continuing to meet its [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] commitments,” a State Department official authorized only to speak on background told the Free BeaconLeftist Propagandist

stopWhen pressed to explain how this comported with Germany’s warnings, the official said the administration “would refer you to German authorities for any comment about reports attributed to them.”

The administration official would not take a stance on indications that Iran’s procurement activity—which has increased nearly twofold since the nuclear deal—could violate U.N. Security Council Resolution 2231, which bans such activity.

“As for UNSCR 2231, we have spoken previously about ‎how Iran’s reported missile launches are clearly inconsistent with the resolution,” the source said when asked if the new intelligence shows that Iran’s behavior constitutes a violation of the resolution.

A CIA official declined to comment on Germany’s findings and whether they comport with U.S. intelligence Deflated Diplomacyassessments.

The administration’s response stands in sharp contrast to comments made by many lawmakers who view the German intelligence as proof that Iran is in violation of international accords. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.), the House majority leader, told the Free Beacon that the administration is ignoring mounting evidence of Iran’s illicit actions.

“The Obama Administration can’t ignore the sheer weight of evidence showing Iran isn’t upholding its side of the bargain,” McCarthy said. “From illicit procurement for its nuclear program to testing ballistic missiles, Iran is showing that it had no intention of ever following international agreements, even ones that granted them enormous concessions.”

Cong-Sign-600-LI“The administration’s decision to continue implementing the deal and ignore Iran’s actions isn’t just delusional, it’s dangerous,” he added. “Iran must be stopped, which is why we need the sanctions legislation we are voting on this week.”

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.), a member of the House intelligence committee, also said Iran’s behavior indicates that it is not faithfully abiding by the nuclear deal.

“The latest German intelligence report on Iran’s efforts to secure nuclear and missile technology and material is extremely troubling,” Pompeo said.Perspective

The German intelligence report’s “naming of more than 1,000 associates of Iranian-backed terrorist groups that are living in Germany should serve as a wake-up call to the U.S. and other European countries who are prefer to ignore Tehran’s active support for entities like Hezbollah and Hamas,” Pompeo said.

One source intimately familiar with the administration’s thinking on Iran told the Free Beacon that Iran’s illicit Bright-Future-NRD-600activity has forced U.S. officials to walk back certain claims made about how the deal would reform Tehran.

“The administration isn’t even sure what to say any more. Sometimes they say that the nuclear deal is so weak Iran can’t violate it even if it illegally imports nuclear technology,” said one senior congressional adviser who works closely on the Iran portfolio. “Other times they say the nuclear deal is really strong, and they just ignore what even they admit are violations, like when Iran accumulated more heavy water than allowed a few months ago.”

destructionGermany’s disclosure is the latest in a series of revelations that appear to show Iran stretching the limits of last summer’s nuclear deal.  The issue of ballistic missile technology has emerged as an issue of concern on Capitol Hill in light of the administration’s refusal to describe Iran’s ballistic missile tests as violations of UNSCR 2231.

EXCLUSIVE: This Is Trump’s Foreign Policy, A Conversation With Top Trump Adviser Dr. Walid Phares

waving flagAuthored by JP Carroll, National Security & Foreign Affairs Reporter, 07/04/2016

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump “will not ask Japan or South Korea to invest in building nuclear weapons but he will speak with their leaders about how to create a safer and more stable environment in the East Asia theater” to confront the realities of a nuclear North Korea, according to the candidate’s top foreign policy adviser, Dr. Walid Phares.

Dr. Walid Phares

Dr. Walid Phares

The Trump adviser sat down with The Daily Caller News Foundation in an exclusive interview to discuss the candidate’s world view and foreign policy proposals.

Phares was the director of international relations and political science at BAU International University since 2013, and he has been the provost as of 2014; he is on leave now. The Trump foreign policy analyst also served as an adviser to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.

TheDCNF: First of all, I think readers would like to understand, how often does Mr. Trump rely on you and other foreign policy advisers for information while he is on the campaign trail?

Phares: Two points, first: I have a non-disclosure agreement with the campaign when it comes to specific campaign practices. Second: as an adviser, I answer to campaign leadership including Mr. Trump, and the team engages in a variety of typical research practices: briefing the candidate, providing immediate analysis to breaking news, and writing policy papers.

TheDCNF: How big is the Trump foreign policy team?

Phares: He has announced who his foreign policy and national security advisers are, I am one of them, and many others will join later. There are many people who call the campaign and give advice from time to time despite not being formally affiliated with the campaign. Ultimately, if Mr. Trump is hopefully elected, he will have at his disposal all the advisers and heads of agencies and departments that the U.S. government has.

TheDCNF: What attracted you to the Trump campaign?

Phares: Because of the dual challenges of ISIS and a legitimized Iran that still has nuclear ambitions, Donald Trump can and will shake up the foreign policy establishment. Hillary Clinton is part of the establishment and she has failed by giving poor advice to President Obama and partnered the State Department with radical groups, so there is no reason to promote her to commander-in-chief.

TheDCNF: What are the top foreign policy priorities of the campaign? Does the campaign even have foreign policy priorities given Mr. Trump’s admitted embrace of an unpredictable foreign policy?

Phares: Look, this is an America First foreign policy as laid out in his speech in April. We live in an unpredictable world, so yes, priorities do change. The campaign has a well-organized foreign policy in that it adapts to a disorganized world. At the moment, the top two priorities are how to deal with issues of nuclear proliferation and how to completely destroy Islamic jihadist organizations, including and especially ISIS.

On nuclear proliferation, Mr. Trump has made a clear statement about not having any further nuclear proliferation, especially in the hands of people who are problematic. He thinks about it as the greatest threat that we and the rest of the world will face. I would say that North Korea and Iran, and the nuclear threat would be number one.

He believes as I said that there needs to be a concerted, strategic effort to remove ISIS while also worrying about who and what could come next once they have been destroyed. It’s not just ISIS, there is still al-Qaeda as well as more covert actors like the Muslim Brotherhood that President Obama legitimized in Egypt before the Egyptians took their country back.

The homeland is facing a real, domestic, jihadi threat. We need to wage the battle of counter-terrorism, but we also need to prevent it through vetting potential jihadists coming into the U.S. and investing in border security.

TheDCNF: On the issue of nuclear weapons, how would Trump feel about Japan and South Korea pursuing the development of nuclear weapons in their own right?

Phares: When we as a campaign are in touch with South Korean leaders and politicians, they complain to us that Obama isn’t doing enough and they are concerned about his inaction. South Koreans have told us that their country has become less secure in the past eight years and they want a change, they want a Trump foreign policy.

To be clear though, Mr. Trump is not committed to any particular action. He is simply willing to have frank discussions with Asian partners about many options and has said so publicly. He will not ask Japan or South Korea to invest in building nuclear weapons but he will speak with their leaders about how to create a safer and more stable environment in the East Asia theater. Most importantly, Mr. Trump is an expert negotiator with a successful track record, which is a skill-set severely lacking in President Obama as well as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

TheDCNF: When it comes to the Iran Deal, will Mr. Trump get rid of it on day one given his disdain for the deal?

Phares: No, he’s not going to get rid of an agreement that has the institutional signature of the United States. He is a man of institutions. But he’s going to look back on it the institutional way. He’s said, so far that he doesn’t like this deal and that it was poorly negotiated. Once elected, he’s going to renegotiate it after talking through it with his advisers. One of the clear possibilities is he will send it back to Congress. The reaction of the Iranian leadership will be the next phase. So he is not going to implement it as is, he is going to revise it after negotiating one on one with Iran or with a series of allies.

TheDCNF: What can Israel expect of a Trump presidency?

Phares: Mr. Trump has made it clear to both the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), that he will be a strong ally of Israel, as he has always been.

TheDCNF: For many people there is great unease with Mr. Trump’s proposal of temporarily banning all Muslims from entering the U.S. Is such a ban in your opinion actually realistic and enforceable? Do you really think it will be effective in terrorism prevention?

Phares: This issue of the so-called “Muslim ban”

TheDCNF: Excuse me Dr. Phares, that’s what he himself called for, “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

Phares: Well, let’s understand what he meant and where he is on this issue. What he meant was, after the repetitive attacks on Europe and the U.S., it is clear that the Obama administration, the Hillary campaign and unfortunately, many of our European partners, do not have the answer or correct methodology for vetting people coming in from abroad.

Mr. Trump has looked at what specialists and very renowned researchers have been raising in congressional testimony at hearings. The issue is, if you don’t have a measure for detecting who is who, and who is a jihadist and who is not, then we will keep having more bloodshed.

Mr. Trump’s reaction with this policy was genuine and symbolic for provoking that debate on a need for a foreign policy and counter-terrorism strategy shift. He is telling the American public that he is going to change that policy. So, he suggested that our current political leaders implement a shutdown. However, the important part of the proposal is, “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.” It is clear they have yet to figure it out, and that’s what resonated with voters who want change.

TheDCNF: But why does this policy single out people based on their religious beliefs?

Phares: Look, Donald Trump is an inclusive businessman who has never looked at one community and said, “I’m going to demonize this community.” That’s why the charges of being a racist or an Islamophobe do not apply. He’s simply looking at the problem from a national security perspective. But lately, he has been adapting his position. The more he is informed of the subject, the more he is adapting. And he said, we are ready to discuss those issues which need to be discussed. Once he will start getting intelligence briefings, he will know more about what the problem is and how to handle it so that when he is elected, he will know how to use the vast resources of the federal government. Indeed over the past weeks Mr Trump made several statements announcing that he will be focusing on the radical Islamic terrorists and where they come from. Hence the shut down will narrow to Jihadists and radical Islamists as ways to identify them would be made available

TheDCNF: On the issue of intelligence briefings, once he gets the official nomination, many questions have been raised about Mr. Trump’s temperament. Are you confident that he will not divulge any information from those briefings at a campaign rally or an interview?

Dr. Phares: With regard to Mr. Trump receiving national security briefings and talking about them, this is impossible. He has reached a point where he has already received a huge amount of information from his own experts which he knows is sensitive despite not coming from U.S. intelligence.

Mr. Trump is extremely careful and he has always been responsible with what we have told him. He controls information perfectly, which is how he was able to build a company with a global footprint. In the time that I have advised him on sensitive geopolitical matters, I have never heard Mr. Trump mention things in public that he should not. From my own experience, Mr. Trump will act as a statesman.

TheDCNF: Just to clarify, when you have talked to sources in an unofficial basis and you have passed on that information to Mr. Trump, and you have informed him that the information is credible while being unofficial nevertheless, he has understood this and subsequently when discussing foreign policy in public, he has not divulged this?

Dr. Phares: He has acted impeccably as a statesman, as someone who understands nuance. He asks many informed questions. He wants to understand the issues in detail and recognizes that he is dealing with sensitive matters.

In Part 2 of TheDCNF exclusive interview with Dr. Phares, the adviser discusses Trump’s views on China, Mexico, and more.fight

Iran Denies Entry to U.S. Congressmen Seeking to Inspect Nuke Sites

Iran informed three leading members of Congress in a letter sent to the State Department last week that their request for travel visas into Iran will be denied on the grounds that no U.S. citizen or official has the right to inspect Iran’s contested nuclear sites, according to a copy of Iran’s response letter obtained by the Free Beacon.

Reps. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.), Lee Zelden (R., N.Y.), and Frank LoBiondo (R., N.J.) have been trying for months to obtain travel visas to Iran so they can meet with American hostages and inspect Iran’s nuclear sites to ensure compliance with the nuclear accord.

Iranian officials stalled the effort for months and missed their own self-imposed deadline by which they vowed to respond to the request. On June 2, Iranian officials officially informed the State Department they are denying the travel request, according to the letter.

“Despite what you seem to presume, members of the U.S. Congress do not get to dictate the policies of other countries,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry wrote in a letter. “This clearly applies to Iranian visa policies. Bear in mind that as members of the U.S. Congress you are not a global authority.”Bull

Iran is not permitting any participant in last summer’s nuclear agreement to inspect the country’s nuclear sites to ensure compliance with the deal.

“No [deal] participant, including the United States, and certainly no citizen or official of these countries, can arrogate any such right to monitor the implementation of [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] to itself, nor are they authorized by the JCPOA or other provisions of international law to encroach upon Iranian sovereignty by claiming such monitoring authority,” Iran maintained.Bull

“In sum,” the letter continues, “we consider your visa request to have been a publicity stunt and not an appropriate request to visit a sovereign country; and it has, and will continue to be, treated in that spirit.”

Pompeo, a member of the House’s intelligence committee, told the Free Beacon on Tuesday that he will continue to pursue his efforts to travel to Iran.

“This letter from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif is entirely divorced from reality,” Pompeo said. “My two congressional colleagues and I followed all the necessary procedures—filling out applications, writing letters, meeting with staff, following up on the status, and even hand delivering our materials to the Iranian Interests Section—and still the Iranians refuse to reply in a civilized or respectful manner.”

“After being designated by the U.S. Department of State as an official state sponsor of terrorism since 1984, the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to act as a rogue and hostile nation. I ask the Iranian government again—grant me a visa,” the lawmaker said.

The letter sent by Iran was forwarded by the State Department to three Congressmen.

A State Department spokesman told the Free Beacon on Tuesday that it does not take a position on Iran’s rejection of the visa applications.

“We’re aware of the Iranian response to visa applications by some Members of Congress,” the officials said. “The response came to us and we passed it along to the Congress members.  We have no specific comment on the Iranian response to the members of Congress.”

“As we’ve said in the past, given that we have no ability on the ground in Iran to support a congressional delegation, and given the recently updated Travel Warning, we had and continue to have no plans to intervene in the request by these Members for a visa to Iran,” according to the State Department official.Leftist Propagandist

Iran emphasized in its letter that the United States and Iran still do not have friendly relations.

“It bears reminding that Iran and the United States do not have diplomatic relations, and as such, there are no reciprocal monitoring arrangements between the two countries,” Iran writes.

One senior congressional aide informed about Iran’s denial told the Free Beacon that the Islamic Republic’s behavior “does not bode well for the future of this nuclear deal.”

“As a state sponsor of terrorism, Iran’s undated, unsigned, and unserious letter is proof of its obviously hostile attitude,” the official said. “One would hope that the Iranians would act as a civilized nation when dealing with elected officials of the country that is providing billions of dollars in sanction relief.”

“But that is not the case, as this letter, and Iran’s actions demonstrate,” the source continued. “If the visa applications of Congressmen Mike Pompeo, Lee Zeldin, and Frank LoBiondo are so offensive to the Iranian regime, the regime should just reject them. To play games with these elected officials, two of whom are veterans, does not bode well for the future of this nuclear deal and U.S.-Iran relations.”Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600

White House’s Pro-Iran ‘Propaganda Operation’ May Violate U.S. Law

waving flag

BY:  May 17, 2016 2:15 pm

White House / AP

The Obama administration’s efforts to create a so-called “echo chamber” meant to mislead reporters and lawmakers about the substance of last summer’s comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran may have violated U.S. laws against the establishment of domestic propaganda outfits, according to testimony to Congress by a former Pentagon adviser.

Top U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, may have fallen victim to a massive spin operation helmed by White House national security adviser Ben Rhodes, who has come under intense scrutiny following a magazine profile detailing his efforts to mislead the American public and prominent D.C. insiders about the Iran deal, according to testimony offered Tuesday before the House Oversight Committee.

The administration late Monday declined to make Rhodes available to testify to Congress about his press operation, which was run out of the White House by Rhodes and other top members of the National Security Council.

In lieu of Rhodes, the Oversight Committee invited three former U.S. officials to discuss the ways in which the pro-Iran effort intentionally misinformed Congress and negatively impacted American national security.

Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon adviser who testified, told the Washington Free Beacon following the hearing that Congress has grounds to launch an investigation into whether these efforts may have violated U.S. laws against the establishment of domestic propaganda campaigns targeting Americans.

“Rhodes essentially bragged about creating a propaganda operation,” Rubin told the Free Beacon. “It wasn’t simply about spin, rather, it was about denying facts he knew to be true, feeding outright lies into the mainstream press through sympathetic enablers and supposed independent experts on the Ploughshares trough whom he knew were anything but independent.”Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

“In effect,” Rubin explained, “he was running a propaganda operation against the American public and other officials. There are laws against that. Unfortunately, it seems that Kerry himself—a person whom even staffers have described as too credulous—got caught in that web.”

Questions remain about whether Kerry ever received impartial information from experts functioning outside of Rhodes’ so-called echo-chamber, Rubin said.

“In essence, did Rhodes—working from the National Security Council, a body that was always supposed to coordinate policy across agencies and not run a spin war room—craft propaganda that was fed to State Department leaders through unofficial channels by a network of experts who had financial incentive to amplify what he said?” Rubin asked.Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

Rubin further explained during his testimony how Rhodes may have deceived Kerry as part of the operation, a situation that raises questions about whether the secretary of state was negotiating with Iran from a sound position.

“Rhodes has placed the security of the U.S. and its allies at risk,” Rubin testified. “Certainly any dissemination of falsehoods to Congress and the American people warrants a broader investigation. National security and Congress’ credibility are at risk.”Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600

Rubin expressed concern that “by creating an echo chamber and only talking to people in it, in effect, what Rhodes did was create a propaganda operation in which he entrapped none other than Secretary of State John Kerry. Did Secretary of State Kerry talk to people outside the echo chamber? If not, then he’s a victim of Ben Rhodes as well.”

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah), the committee’s chairman, expressed frustration at the White House’s decision to bar Rhodes from testifying. Chaffetz has suggested that Rhodes could be subpoenaed to testify in the future.

“The White House on Thursday claimed that this wasn’t about exec privilege, then, less than 24 hours, before this hearing they reversed course,” Chaffetz said. “Now who’s being inconsistent?”

“You had plenty of times, Mr. Rhodes, to go out and talk to your media friend in the echo chamber” before showing up to testify, he said.Suicide-USA-NRD-600

Michael Doran, a former senior director of the White House National Security Council under George W. Bush, said that the White House still has not publicly revealed the complete contents of the nuclear deal.

“In my view, the creation of the echo chamber and war room [by Rhodes] constitutes a deception of the American people,” Doran said at the hearing. “We do not actually know what is in the Iran deal. We still to this day do not know.”IranKerry

The White House’s spin operation effectively created a false narrative about Iranian moderates rising to power in the Islamic Republic, according to Doran, who explained that this false narrative set the stage for negotiations to take place.

The deepening scandal surrounding the White House campaign prompted a call from leading senators on Monday for President Barack Obama to fire Rhodes, according to a letter sent to the White House and first reported by the Free Beacon.

Iran carries out new ballistic missile test

waving flagPublished May 09, 2016 FoxNews.com

Why

Suicide-USA-NRD-600Iran successfully test-fired a medium-range ballistic missile capable of striking U.S. forces in the region as well as Israel, the third such test since the nuclear agreement with Western nations took effect in January, multiple defense officials confirmed to Fox News. The rogue nation conducted the test in defiance of a United Nations resolution that calls on Iran to cease work on its ballistic missile program.

Any ballistic missile launch by Iran is tracked by U.S. military spy satellites which pick up the flash during launch. This case was no different, according to officials.

Obama%20Netanyahu%20Iran%20Nuke%20Deal%20CartoonGen. Ali Abdollahi, deputy chief of the armed forces’ headquarters, said the latest missile tested is very accurate, within 8 meters. “Eight meters means nothing, it means it’s without any error,” he said. He did not elaborate. In March, Iran test-fired two ballistic missiles — one emblazoned with the phrase “Israel must be wiped out” in Hebrew — that set off an international outcry.

Since December, Iran has shipped out its low-enriched uranium, disabled its heavy water reactor in Arak, and weeks Perspectiveago sold more than $8 million worth of heavy water to the U.S. in compliance with the nuclear deal. However, Iran has ignored separate U.N. resolutions barring the Islamic republic from ballistic missile tests. Fox News was first to report a secret Iranian ballistic missile launch in November.

The test-firing was carried out two weeks ago, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted Abdollahi as saying. Tasnim is close to the country’s powerful Revolutionary Guard, which is in charge of Iranian ballistic missiles program. The agency said the missile has a range of 1,250 miles — enough to reach much of the Middle East. Iranian military commanders have described them as a strategic asset and a strong deterrent, capable of hitting U.S. bases or Israel in the event of a strike on Iran.

Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600Analysts say Iran is likely seeking to demonstrate it is making progress with its ballistic program, despite scaling back on the nuclear program following the deal that led to the lifting of international sanction on Tehran.

Last month, Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, chief of the Guard’s airspace division, said a new, upgraded version of the Sajjil — a solid fuel high-speed missile with a range of 1,200 miles that was first tested in 2008 — would soon be ready. But it was not immediately clear if the missile Abdollahi referred to was the new Sajjil.

The landmark deal does not include provisions against missile launches and when it came into effect on Jan. 16, the Security Council lifted most U.N. sanctions against Tehran, including a ban it had imposed in 2010 on Iran testing missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads. To deal with the restrictions in the nuclear agreement, the council adopted a resolution last July, which only “calls on” Iran not to carry out such tests.Picture1

BEFORE OBAMA LEAVES OFFICE: He is Going to Commit This Treasonous Act…

waving flagPosted on March 31, 2016

What say you? Are Allen West’s predictions correct?

By Allen West

I went back and checked out to whom President Obama granted his first interview back in January of 2009. Was it to the BBC, Reuters, Associated Press? Nah, it was to Al Arabiya. And this statement by the new president Barack Obama, reported by CBS News, January 28, 2009 says it all:

“In his first sit-down interview — which he symbolically granted to pan-Arab satellite network Al Arabiya — Mr. Obama said, “Iran has acted in ways that’s not conducive to peace and prosperity in the region… But I do think that it is important for us to be willing to talk to Iran, to express very clearly where our differences are, but where there are potential avenues for progress.”Picture4

“If countries like Iran are willing to unclench their fist, they will find an extended hand from us,” added the president. CBS News’ Leily Lankarani in Tehran reports Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has turned that comment around on Washington. “If there is any clenched fist in the world, it is the fist of the U.S.A.,” Hasan Ghashghavi told a group of journalists Wednesday during a visit to Japan.”

I also went back and watched the two speeches Obama gave in Turkey before the general assembly and in Cairo, Egypt at the university where he requested members of the Muslim Brotherhood be front and center in the audience. Obama certainly did extend a hand, but no one unclenched their fist — certainly not Iran.

As reported by Reuters yesterday, “Iran’s top leader on Wednesday said missiles were key to the Islamic Republic’s future, offering support to the hardline Revolutionary Guards that have drawn criticism from the West for testing ballistic missiles.”

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei supported last year’s nuclear deal with world powers but has since called for Iran to avoid further rapprochement with the United States and its allies, and maintain its economic and military strength.

“Those who say the future is in negotiations, not in missiles, are either ignorant or traitors,” Khamenei, who has the final say on all matters of state, was quoted as saying by his website. “If the Islamic Republic seeks negotiations but has no defensive power, it would have to back down against threats from any weak country.”

The first thing I want to clarify with y’all is that Iran hasn’t signed anything. To the Ayatollah, there is no “agreement,” yet Barack Obama extended his hand and in it was billions of dollars for the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism.Picture5

Remember, during the 2008 Democrat presidential primary debate, Obama clearly stated he would talk with Iran without any preconditions — and no one challenged him on that. So what do we have today? A richer, militarily stronger and more belligerent Iran. We have Iranian hegemonic influence all across the Middle East, and its terrorist-listed forces, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Quds Force, operating freely, along with the Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah — and Iranian-backed Shiite militias openly threatening U.S forces in Iraq. Consider this: in the reign of Obama, Iran now controls these capitols in the Middle East: Damascus, Beirut, Sanaa and Baghdad. Since the Obama administration has been so giddy to fall at the knees of Iran in complete and utter submission, we’ve witnessed countless ballistic missile tests, negotiations for weapons acquisition, opening of new markets with Europe, and of course ten US Sailors on their knees at gunpoint. And Iran will be building a monument to remember that feat – they’ll probably use some of the billions Obama sent their way.

Now the liberal progressive socialist leftists will claim Obama saved us from a war, a military confrontation. But that’s like the coward who gives up his lunch money to the bully saying he did it to avoid eating food he didn’t like. I’ll give President Obama credit; he’s done exactly what he said he would do, and it will be up to the next two to three presidents to right this ship.

CAUGHT IN THE ACT? Iranians Charged with Cyber Attacks on U.S. Banks

ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ARTThese are the people we’ve made a deal with? Who scream ‘death to America’ and hack our banks. Wow.

Seven Iranian computer experts linked to the government in Tehran were charged Thursday with cyber attacks against American banks and a dam in New York.

The FBI released mug shots of the alleged hackers named in the indictment as the charges were announced at a news conference in Washington, D.C. They worked for private security companies that have performed work for the Iranian government, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, officials said. But U.S. officials stopped short of accusing Iranian authorities or intelligence of being behind the attacks.

FBI Director James Comey said the suspects may be out of reach while they are in Iran — but the indictments should have them looking over their shoulder if they travel. “The world is small and our memories are long,” Comey said. “We never say never.”yeah right

Iran fires 2 missiles marked with ‘Israel must be wiped out’

waving flagAssociated Press

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Iran test-launched two ballistic missiles Wednesday emblazoned with the phrase “Israel must be wiped out” in Hebrew, Iranian media reported, in a show of power by the Shiite nation as U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s visited Jerusalem.Disarmed

The new missile firings were the latest in a series of tests in recent days, aimed at demonstrating that Iran will push ahead with its ballistic program after scaling backing its nuclear program under the deal reached last year with the U.S. and other world powers.

Israel, long an opponent of Iran, offered no comment on the test, though Biden issued a strong warning over any possible violation of the nuclear deal.

“A nuclear-armed Iran is an absolutely unacceptable threat to Israel, to the region and the United States. And I want to reiterate which I know people still doubt here. If in fact they break the deal, we will act,” he said. How Pathitic

Deal-VestBiden’s comments came after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who strongly opposed the nuclear deal.

The tests, however, don’t violate the accord. The landmark deal, which led to Iran dramatically scaling back its nuclear program, does not include provisions against missile launches.

Also, when the nuclear accord came into effect on Jan. 16, the Security Council lifted most U.N. sanctions against Tehran including a ban it had imposed in 2010 on Iran testing missiles capable of carrying nuclear Israel-Tied-600-LIwarheads — a ban that likely would have covered some of the missile fired this week. To deal with the restrictions in the nuclear agreement, the council adopted a resolution last July which among other measures “calls on” Iran not to carry out such tests.

At the United Nations, there is likely to be a debate about whether Iran is still required to abide by the ballistic missile test ban under council resolutions.

Iran says none of its missiles are designed to carry nuclear weapons and so the resolutions do not apply.

One Security Council diplomat said the tests don’t violate the nuclear deal, but “there are obligations on Iran” that stem from the resolution and “they need to abide by those obligations” he said. Another diplomat acknowledged, “We’re not mounting an argument that it’s a binding obligation.”More Liberal Gibberish

Huge-Gap-600-LIThe two diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the tests, said the council still has to consider the reported launches and if verified determine whether it is a violation and if so what action to take.

Iran state TV trumpeted Wednesday’s test as officials boasted that it demonstrated the country’s might against longtime nemesis Israel.

Video aired on state TV showed the golden-hued Qadr H missiles being fired from a crevice between brown peaks identified as being in Iran’s eastern Alborz mountain range. The rockets hit targets some 1,400 kilometers (870 miles) away off Iran’s coast into the Sea of Oman, state media and Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency reported.

Obama%20Netanyahu%20Iran%20Nuke%20Deal%20CartoonThe U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet, which patrols that region, declined to comment on the test.

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guard’s aerospace division, was quoted as saying the test was aimed at showing Israel that Iran could hit it. Israel is within 1,100 kilometers (660 miles) of Iranian territory.

“The 2,000-kilometer (1,240-mile) range of our missiles is to confront the Zionist regime,” Hajizadeh said. “Israel is surrounded by Islamic countries and it will not last long in a war. It will collapse even before being hit by these missiles.”

He stressed that Iran would not fire the missiles in anger or start a war with Israel.

“We will not be the ones who start a war, but we will not be taken by surprise, so we put our facilities somewhere that our enemies cannot destroy them so that we could continue in a long war,” he said.

Writing messages on bombs dates as far back as World War II. During Israel’s 2006 war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah militants, Israeli children were photographed writing messages on artillery shells in a community near the border. More recently, pictures emerged online of U.S. missiles bound for Islamic State group targets that had “From Paris with love” written on them, referring to last year’s IS attacks in the French capital.

Iran’s message for Israel seemed timed to coincide with Biden’s stop in the country on his Mideast tour. Iran has threatened to destroy Israel Side-Deal-600-LIin the past. Israel, which is believed to have the only nuclear arsenal in the Mideast, repeatedly has threatened to take military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Over the past days, Iran has launched a number of missile tests as part of military exercises. On Tuesday, the Revolutionary Guard said the tests included several missiles with ranges between 300 and 2,000 kilometers (185-1,250 miles), including the Shahab-1 and -2, the Qiam, with a range of 800 kilometers, and the Qadr.

A U.S. State Department spokesman on Tuesday said the U.S. was aware of reports of missile launches and, if the Suicide-USA-NRD-600reports were true, would take “appropriate responses” at the U.N. or elsewhere.Bull

Secretary of State John Kerry spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and “the secretary did raise his concerns today with Foreign Minister Zarif about these reports,” State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters. He did not have additional details about the call.

The Qiam and Qadr, each capable of carrying payloads Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600greater than 500 kilograms, fit the U.N. definition for missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, said Jeremy Bennie, Middle East and Africa editor for IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly.

The now-lifted 2010 ban covered missiles with a range of at least 300 kilometers (186 miles) and a payload capacity of at least 500 kilograms (1,102 pounds), under a definition by a U.N. panel of experts.

The nuclear accord was a victory for Iran’s moderate president, Hassan Rouhani, over hard-liners who sharply opposed reining in the nuclear program. But since the deal was reached, hard-liners in the military have made several shows of strength.IranKerry

muslim-obamaIn October, Iran successfully test-fired a new guided long-range ballistic surface-to-surface missile. U.N. experts said the launch used ballistic missile technology banned by the Security Council. In January, the U.S. imposed new sanctions on individuals and entities linked to the missile program. Iran also has fired rockets near U.S. warships and flown an unarmed drone over an American aircraft carrier in recent months.

In January, Iran seized 10 U.S. sailors in the Persian Gulf and held them for about 15 hours when their two riverine command boats headed from Kuwait to Bahrain ended up in Iranian territorial waters after the crews “misnavigated,” the U.S. military said.

BREAKING: Iran Naval Cmdr. Admits Truth About Captured Sailors… Obama Scrambles

waving flagBy: Addison Riddleberger on February 2, 2016

Cong-Sign-600-LIAccording to the Tasnim News Agency, Adm. Ali Fadavi, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps of Iran, stated that his sailors had withdrawn a considerable amount of intelligence from the United States sailors captured in January.

Suicide-USA-NRD-600“We have extracted extensive information from their (American sailors’) laptops and cellphones,” Fadavi said in a parliamentary session Monday.

By extensive, he meant hundreds and hundreds of pages worth of data and details on who knows what, according to Al-Monitor.

Adm. Fadavi also made it known that the harvested information could be released to the public if the decision were made to do so.

The Obama administration, with Secretary of State John Kerry at the helm, has greatly downplayed Deflated DiplomacyIran’s capture of 10 U.S. sailors. However, unwelcome facts, quotes and speculations continue to surface, revealing that there may be much more to this incident than the general public has been made aware of.

Earlier, U.S. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said that he was “very, very angry” when he saw a live broadcast of sailors being detained by authorities in Iran.

On Jan. 31, supreme Iranian leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei awarded five commanders, including Adm. Fadavi, with the “Medal of Faith (Conquest)” for their “courageous and timely” Iran-ATM-600-LImaneuver in capturing the U.S. vessels and their contents.

Upon receiving the medal at the ceremony in Iran, Fadavi boasted that “nowhere else in the world can someone apprehend an American boat.”

If that’s not a blatant insult to the United States Navy, I’m not sure what is. Who knows what revelation the American people will witness next from the inept officials that oversee U.S. foreign relations and negotiations.

ISLAM takes over Europe: Look what Italy and France are doing for it now..

waving flagWritten by Allen West on January 26, 2016

rouhanipope
You know that saying, “there’s a sucker born every minute?” Well, based on what’s happening in Europe, there sure are lots of suckers. What do you think the world, led by Barack Obama, is doing for the number one state sponsor of Islamic terror? Yep, bankrolling them, while the Islamist regime laughs at us.

Yesterday I watched the interview of recently-released American Pastor Saeed Abedini who described his torture and the executions he witnessed in his time while illegally held hostage by the Iranians. And we still have no idea about the whereabouts of Robert Levinson, although we know the Iranians last held him.

But back to the suckers…

PerspectiveAs reported by Fox News, “Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has arrived in Rome on the first European visit by an Iranian president in almost two decades, following implementation of a landmark deal on curbing Iran’s nuclear activities.

Rouhani, eager for foreign investment after the lifting of international sanctions, started the four-day trip to France and Italy on Monday. The trip was originally planned for November but postponed by the attacks in Paris. He met first with Italian President Sergio Matterella, and is scheduled to meet later with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Pope Francis at the Vatican. In France, he is to be welcomed by French President Francois Hollande.

Europe was Iran’s largest trading partner before the sanctions, and a range of business and trade deals is expected.”

Do any of you realize the irony of Iran not visiting Paris because of an Islamic terror attack? The only difference is Suicide-USA-NRD-600that ISIS is Sunni and Iran is Shiite, and Persian, not Arab. I’ve read estimates of Iran securing anywhere from $15 to $18 billion in trade agreements with Italy, and oil is a major portion. The Obama administration has turned over billions of assets back to Iran, and was nice enough to even allow the seizure of two Riverine assault boats and video of our Sailors kneeling at gunpoint. And just last week, Secretary of State John Kerry stated in Davos, Switzerland there’s a high probability these funds and resources will find their way to support terrorism. What a blinding flash of the obvious, sir.

This is the same Iran which sponsors Hezbollah, Hamas, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Quds Force. Every single one of these entities is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States. Here is Iran, a country which has been at a state of war, in conflict with the United States since the Islamic revolution, where they took some 52 Americans hostage by attacking our embassy. This is the same Iran which was behind the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing where 234 Marines and Sailors were killed. This is Iran who provided terrorists with the lethal explosive force penetrators (EFPs) responsible for maiming and killing our men and women in Iraq. This is the same Iran which has not changed its belligerent policies towards the United States and Israel whatsoever — and their president is traipsing all over Europe lining up trade deals.

Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600China has recently endeavored to complete a trade deal with Iran that would bring about hundreds of billions of dollars to the Islamic terrorist state. And there’s a major Boeing contract waiting in the wings here in the United States.

What message is being sent to those who were once our Sunni state allies? If there’s one thing that will further embolden and rally support to Sunni ISIS, it will be this hegemonic rise of Iran. Instead of rallying Sunni support against Islamic jihadists and Iranian terrorism, we’re losing the high ground, and for what reason?

Imagine the propaganda bonanza proliferated by Iran. Here is Hasan Rouhani sitting with the pope, and heading to France to meet with President Francois Hollande. It is unbelievable that the leader of Iran would visit a country which has been rocked by two Islamic terror attacks in 2015. What we’re witnessing is described as dhimmitude, submission, and it will have a lasting effect, long after Obama has left office for the speaking tour…which I’m sure will find its way to Tehran. The liberal acolytes will say Obama has brought us peace — but tell that to the Saudis when they acquire their own nuclear arsenal. The liberal progressive left clearly believes “hope springs eternal.”

I prefer “peace through strength.” Just ask Neville Chamberlain which one worked out best – stuck-on-stupid diplomacy or Churchill’s resolve?

Cartoon: What Will Iran Spend $100 Billion On?

Earlier this week Heritage expert Luke Coffey weighed in on Implementation Day:

It’s been reported that “Implementation Day” is here, and nuclear sanctions against Iran have now been lifted. But what exactly does this mean?

Heritage Foundation expert Luke Coffey weighs in to answer Implementation Day questions:

1. What is Implementation Day?

Implementation Day is the point at which the deal agreed in Vienna last summer between the international community and Iran over the Iranian nuclear program comes into force. This means Iran will regain access to around $100 billion in unfrozen assets.

This is equivalent to almost one-third of Iran’s total GDP (if the U.S. were to receive one-third of its GDP overnight, it would amount to $5.6 trillion).

It’s important to keep in mind that these unfrozen assets do not include the hundreds of billions of dollars that Iran will receive over time as a result of international economic sanctions been lifted.

There is well-founded concern over what this Iranian financial windfall will mean.ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ART

2. What might Iran use these funds for?

While no one can know for sure what Iran will do with $100 billion in unfrozen assets, a quick look at its recent history can offer some ideas.

For instance, Iran is one of the largest state sponsors of terrorism in the world. It funds and supports insurgent groups, terrorist organizations, and proxy forces in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Afghanistan.

It has also encouraged political instability in places like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. If Tehran’s recent actions in the Middle East are any indication, it is likely that a huge chunk of this money will go to supporting these nefarious groups. As if this wasn’t bad enough, Iran will likely use billions of dollars of sanctions relief to continue a covert nuclear weapons program. Essentially, the international community could very well end up funding Iran’s nuclear program.Perspective

2. Can the U.S. block the unfreezing of Iranian assets?

Of the $100 billion, an estimated $2 billion is located in the United States. Even if the U.S. took unilateral action and held on to this money (which it clearly won’t, because the Obama administration is the world’s biggest supporter of the deal), Iran will still enjoy an unprecedented financial windfall, similar to winning the Powerball lottery.

3. How do other countries view this?

It looks as though many of America’s partners and friends around the world are willing to go through with the deal.

There is a certain amount of diplomatic fatigue after years of negotiations, and many of America’s partners were only too happy to see a conclusion of this deal, no matter what the outcome. Many countries have also agreed to this deal blindly, with little or no public debate or parliamentary scrutiny.

This is particularly the case for many of our European partners such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, which were part of the official negotiating team but actually had little influence on the outcome.

So like it or not, Iran will have already received all of this money before the next U.S. presidential elections. No matter who gets elected, he or she will have to live with this reality.Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600

5. Will this have a major impact on the geopolitics of the region?

Not only will Iran have a lot of money, but it will also have more confidence to act. In the eyes of the Iranians, the Vienna Agreement was a diplomatic triumph. There is a feeling in Tehran that the experience of the Vienna Agreement can be replicated to advance Iran’s interests in other regions of the world in what Iranian President Rouhani describes as a “third way” for Iranian foreign policy.

This newfound confidence, coupled with a massive injection of money, will prove to be a deadly combination for regional stability and security.Suicide-USA-NRD-600

6. What can be done to stop this deal?

In a perfect world, the U.S. would’ve never agreed to this deal. In fact, one can easily surmise that the only reason why the deal was a agreed last summer was purely for President Barack Obama’s legacy.

The next president should work with Congress to reinstate unilateral economic sanctions against Iran. After all, it was the economic sanctions that brought Iran to the negotiating table to begin with.

My colleague at the Heritage Foundation and top Middle East expert Jim Phillips has written a great synopsis of what the next U.S. president can do.

The bottom line is that the next president should not accept the deal as a fait accompli.

Whether or not the next U.S. president will have the vision and leadership to roll back the deal remains to be seen. But failing to do so could have disastrous consequences, not only for the region, but for the world.

An Iran with a nuclear bomb will spark an arms race in one of the most unstable parts of the world.

Coincidence? THREE Americans kidnapped a day after US pays out $1.7 billion

waving flagWritten by Michele Hickford, Editor-in-Chief on January 18, 2016

Mideast Iraq

President Obama has now proven twice to our enemies in the Middle East that the United States will pay handsomely for the return of its citizens. Of course there was the terrible prisoner swap, where Obama traded five senior Taliban terrorists for one gawky deserter named Bowe Bergdahl.

Then this week, President Obama traded seven Iranians accused of sanctions violations plus $1.7 billion ($400 million debt and $1.3 billion in interest dating to the Islamic revolution), for four Americans.

Clearly the message we’re sending is taking Americans prisoner is profitable. So what can you expect? Exactly. More of the same.

According to the Daily Mail, yesterday The U.S. embassy in Iraq confirmed that several Americans have been kidnapped from the capital city of Baghdad.

Officials at the embassy said they were ‘working in full cooperation with Iraqi authorities to locate the missing Americans’, though gave no further details. The confirmation comes after Arab news channel Al-Arabiya reported that three contractors had been kidnapped by local militia. According to the station, sources in the Iraqi capital city told reporters that the trio were abducted in the southern neighborhood of Dora on Sunday.

They were believed to have been with an interpreter, who has also been captured, reports suggest. Their identities and the reason they are in Iraq is not known.

John Kirby, State Department told Daily Mail Online: ‘We are aware of reports that American citizens are missing in Iraq.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the kidnapping. Kidnappings in Iraq have been carried out by ISIS, Shiite militias and criminal gangs often demanding ransom payments or seeking to resolve workplace disputes.

Oh right! This is just “workplace kidnapping.”

Kind of a coincidence that it’s possibly Shiite militia (sponsored by Iran) who would kidnap Americans a day or so after a $1.7 billion payoff?

You can guess how this one is going to end up at some point in any event. More prisoner exchanges from GITMO? Grisly propaganda videos? Or a big fat check? But this is sadly the consequence of our weakness and our willingness to pay dearly for it.

In Negotiating to Free Americans in Iran, U.S. Blinked on New Sanctions

The day before the Obama administration was due to slap new sanctions on Iran late last month, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif warned U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry the move could derail a prisoner deal the two sides had been negotiating in secret for months.Kerry and other top aides to President Barack Obama, who was vacationing in Hawaii, convened a series of conference calls and concluded they could not risk losing the chance to free Americans held by Tehran.

At the last minute, the Obama administration officials decided to delay a package of limited and targeted sanctions intended to penalize Iran for recent test-firings of a ballistic missile capable of delivering a nuclear warhead. This account of previously unreported internal deliberations was provided by two people with knowledge of the matter.

Those unilateral U.S. sanctions were expected to be imposed quickly now that four Americans, including Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian, were being released by Iran on Saturday. Eight Iranians accused in the United States of sanctions violations were having charges dropped or sentences commuted on Saturday under the complex prisoner deal, according to court filings and sources familiar with the cases.

The moves came as broader U.S. and international sanctions were set to be lifted after verification that it had met commitments to curb its nuclear program.

But Kerry’s decision not to call Iran’s bluff in December shows how months of clandestine negotiations to free Rezaian and other Americans became deeply intertwined with the final push to implement the nuclear deal, despite the official U.S. line that those efforts were separate.

A U.S. official said on Saturday there was no connection between the nuclear deal and the release of the Americans.Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

The prisoner swap could also come under scrutiny from critics who have questioned the Obama administration’s resolve in dealing with Iran and ability to follow through on its pledge to keep a hard line on sanctions outside those imposed on its nuclear program.

The episode was one of several diplomatic and military near misses between Iran and the United States in recent weeks, including a quickly defused crisis when 10 U.S. sailors were detained after entering Iranian waters.

TENSE CALLS AND BUREAUCRATIC ERRORS

Details of the prisoner talks were a closely held secret, so even within the Obama administration few people realized how perilously close the swap came to falling through.

On Dec. 29, Kerry told Zarif the United States intended to impose new sanctions on Iran over the missile test firings, which were deemed to have violated a United Nations ban, according to a U.S. official and congressional sources.

Zarif countered that if Washington went ahead, the prisoner swap was off, the sources said.Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600

Kerry spoke by phone that night with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and a White House official and the decision was made to hold off on any sanctions announcement, they said. Obama’s role in the unfolding drama was not clear.

Zarif’s ability to fend off new U.S. sanctions, even temporarily, may have bought him some breathing space with Iranian hardliners who oppose the terms of nuclear deal. They have insisted that any new sanctions would be a show of bad faith by Washington.

But a bureaucratic misstep almost undid Kerry and Lew’s decision. Word of their last-minute intervention to delay the sanctions never filtered down to working-level officials at the State Department during the holiday lull.

Unaware of the change of plan, the State officials went ahead and quietly informed key congressional offices the next morning about the new Iran sanctions targeting about a dozen companies and individuals. They included copies of a news release that the Treasury Department intended to issue.

Officials then abruptly pulled back, telling congressional staffers the announcement had been “delayed for a few hours,” according to an email seen by Reuters. The next day the State Department emailed that sanctions were delayed because of “evolving diplomatic work that is consistent with our national security interests.”

Administration officials then told some congressional staffers confidentially that something big involving Iran was in the works, in an apparent attempt to tamp down criticism from Capitol Hill, a congressional source said.

Leading lawmakers, including some of Obama’s fellow Democrats, chided the White House for delaying the sanctions package and suggested it could embolden Iran to further threaten its neighbors and destabilize the Middle East.

SMALL CIRCLE OF TRUST

The nuclear deal signed on July 14 between Iran and world powers had been widely hailed as a major boost for Obama’s legacy. But he also faced criticism for refusing to make the accord contingent on Iran’s release of Americans known to be held by Iran. The prisoners, accused of spying and other charges, included Rezaian and several other Iranian-Americans.

At a White House news conference the day after the nuclear accord was signed, Obama bristled at a reporter’s suggestion that while basking in the glow of the foreign policy achievement he was all but ignoring the plight of Americans still detained in Iran.

“You should know better,” he said, adding that U.S. diplomats were “working diligently to try to get them out.” But Obama insisted that linking their fate directly to the nuclear negotiations would have encouraged the Iranians to seek additional concessions.obama-liar4-266x189

Once the deal was done, Kerry told his staff to redouble efforts to secure the Americans’ release, a U.S. official said. By that time, Brett McGurk, a State Department official, had already been conducting secret negotiations for months with an unnamed Iranian representative, the official said.

In a sign that Iran was looking for a way forward, officials of the Iranian interests section in Washington – Tehran’s de facto embassy – began meetings in August with some of the 12 Iranians held in the United States for violating sanctions. The aim was to see whether they would be willing to return to Iran if a swap could be arranged, according to a person familiar with the cases.

In recent months, senior Iranian officials repeatedly floated the idea of a prisoner exchange, despite apparent opposition from Iranian hardliners.

Kerry informed only a handful of senior lawmakers on a confidential basis on Thursday night that a release of Americans held in Iran was imminent, a congressional source said.

Obama has had some success in keeping such proceedings under wraps in the past. His aides negotiated a deal in late 2014 that led to Cuba’s release of former U.S. aid contractor Alan Gross and a U.S. intelligence operative while Washington freed three Cuban spies.

But it was a prisoner swap earlier that year – the Taliban’s release of alleged U.S. army deserter Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Taliban commanders held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba – that caused a backlash from Republican lawmakers. They argued that Obama failed to give Congress the legally required notice for transfer of Guantanamo prisoners and questioned whether Bergdahl endangered fellow soldiers by slipping away from his post in Afghanistan, provoking a massive manhunt.

On Saturday, Kerry and Zarif joined with European Union foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini in Vienna for planned “Implementation Day,” which would end a decade of nuclear sanctions on Iran and unlock billions of dollars of its frozen assets.

With the U.S. prisoners free, Obama may now feel freer to go ahead with the missile sanctions, which are far more limited than the nuclear sanctions program that crippled Iran’s economy. U.S. officials have said that the new financial penalties remain on the table and are likely to be revisited soon.

Iran confiscates GPS equipment from seized Navy boats, says it will “prove that the American ships were ‘snooping’”

“Iran Holds Two U.S. Navy Boats After Mechanical Problems, Officials Say,” by Helene Cooper,New York Times, January 12, 2016:

WASHINGTON — The crews of two small United States Navy patrol boats were picked up by the Iranian authorities in the Persian Gulf on Tuesday after commanders lost contact with the vessels, and Pentagon officials said that Iran had agreed to return the sailors soon.

An official said that the boats appeared to have drifted into Iranian territorial waters after one of them experienced mechanical problems. The boats were moving between Kuwait and Bahrain when contact was lost late in the afternoon, a Defense Department official said.

The Pentagon said they had been on a routine training mission, but those waters are a frequent location for intelligence collection by the United States, Iran and many Gulf countries. A senior military official said he expected the sailors to remain held overnight and be released on Wednesday.

The detention of the 10 sailors comes at a particularly delicate moment in the tense American-Iranian relationship, just days before the formal implementation of a nuclear deal in which the United States is supposed to unfreeze about $100 billion in Iranian assets in return for the disablement of critical nuclear facilities….

Secretary of State John Kerry, an official said, was notified of the seizure of the sailors while meeting with top Philippine officials and Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter. Mr. Kerry broke off the meeting and called his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, with whom he spent months negotiating the nuclear accord.

Many American and Middle Eastern officials believe that recent actions by the Iranian Navy against American forces in the Gulf may be intended to embarrass Mr. Zarif and President Hassan Rouhani. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps was responsible for the military side of the nuclear program, and many of its senior officers have objected to the nuclear agreement.

The semiofficial Fars news agency in Iran said that the boats had illegally traveled more than a mile into Iranian territorial waters near Farsi Island, in the Persian Gulf, which is the home of a major Iranian naval base. It said that forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Navy had confiscated GPS equipment, which would “prove that the American ships where ‘snooping’ around in Iranian waters.”Bull

But an American official said that military and diplomatic contacts with the Iranians had been professional, which he credited to the stepped-up engagement over the nuclear accord….

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Slips Up, Reveals Obama Admin LED IRAN Straight to Our Sailors

muslim-obamaIt doesn’t matter if “the 3 a.m. phone call” comes in the middle of the day. Not only will the Obama administration not answer it, but they’ll aid our enemies instead.

First came the fact that President Barack Obama refused to address the arrest of 10 of our sailors by the Iranian military after their boats had mechanical trouble at sea. Then came news that the Obama administration had offered the Iranians an apology for the release of the sailors.

Now comes the disturbing revelation, apparently delivered by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, that the Obama administration tipped off the Iranians that our soldiers were lost at sea and requested their aid.

The news came from Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, during an interview on TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch shortly after Iran’s arrest of the sailors had come to light.

“I understand that (Secretary of State) John Kerry has indicated, look, when he got word, he and Ash Carter called the Iranians to help take care of our Navy guys, because they had some mechanical problems,” Gohmert said.

I’ll give you a second to pick your jaw off the floor.

“When our Navy ships have problems, we don’t call Iran. We call the rest of the Navy. We can call the Air Force, the Army, the Marines, Coast Guard. We don’t call Iran,” Gohmert said.

He also took a swipe at Kerry’s closeness with Iranian officials, noting how the former Democrat presidential nominee had the son of Iran’s foreign minister as the best man at his daughter’s wedding.Suicide-USA-NRD-600

“But I guess, you know, if you have relatives that have weddings that involve the people that are in charge in Iran, well, maybe you feel that comfortable,” Gohmert said. “But you know, Dana, there are secrets on every military ship we have … that has no business being in the hands of the Iranians.”Deflated Diplomacy

But, hey — the Obama administration has given the Iranians everything else via the Iran deal, why not give them Navy secrets, as well?

This shows just how derelict the Obama administration was in its duty. Not only did they apologize to the Iranians, they actively delivered our sailors into the clutches of their military.

This rot starts at the top — and if Barack Obama can apologize to Iran, he can also apologize to the American people.

US sailors, boats held by Iran in Persian Gulf

waving flagPublished January 12, 2016, FoxNews.com

As many as 10 U.S. Navy sailors were detained — at least temporarily — on Tuesday by Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces when one of their boats became disabled.

Pentagon officials said the incident occurred near Farsi Island in the Persian Gulf. They said one of their two small boats had mechanical trouble, causing one or both to run aground. The sailors were then picked up by Iran and taken to the island. But it’s unclear where they are now.

The boats were moving between Kuwait and Bahrain at the time, and the Pentagon briefly lost contact with the crews.

A senior Obama administration official told Fox News that Iranian authorities have assured the United States of the sailors’ “safety and well-being” and said they “will promptly be allowed to continue their journey.”

The semi-official Iranian news agency, FARS, said the the sailors were trespassing in Iranian waters.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions with Iran, and only hours before President Obama is set to deliver his final State of the Union address to Congress and the public.

It set off a dramatic series of calls and meetings as U.S. officials tried to determine the exact status of the crew and reach out to Iranian leaders.

Secretary of State John Kerry, who has forged a personal relationship with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif through three years of nuclear negotiations, called Zarif immediately on learning of the incident, according to a senior U.S. official. Kerry “personally engaged with Zarif on this issue to try to get to this outcome,” the official said.

Kerry learned of the incident around 12:30 p.m. EST as he and Defense Secretary Ash Carter were meeting their Filipino counterparts at the State Department, the official said.

This comes on the heels of an incident in late December when Iran launched a rocket test near U.S. warships and boats passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The officials were not authorized to discuss the sensitive incident publicly so spoke on condition of anonymity.

The incident also takes place just days before Iran is expected to satisfy the terms of last summer’s nuclear deal. Once the U.N. nuclear agency confirms Iran’s actions to roll back its program, the United States and other Western powers are obliged to suspend wide-ranging oil, trade and financial sanctions on Tehran. Kerry recently said the deal’s implementation was “days away.”

You Say Islamist – I Say Wahhabist

waving flagJanuary 5, 2016 By

According to Saudi’s Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Asheikh, both ISIS and al-Qaeda are enemy number one. I guess he couldn’t choose just one. Maybe it’s one of those 1 and 1A kinds of things.

Off topic as it is – who chooses the names for these characters anyway? Do they get to choose? If so, why must they always be so long? Could you imagine having to endorse a check or sign one of the tiny electronic keypads at the grocery store – or signing autographs for the Grand Mufti groupies? Sheesh!

Anyway, the Mufti – oh excuse me – the Grand Mufti stated emphatically that, “The ideas of extremism, radicalism and terrorism … have nothing to do with Islam and (their proponents) are the enemy number one of Islam.”

Yet about the time he was condemning the two terror groups for their barbarism, he was signing off on one of the largest mass executions in the country’s history. They executed 47 “criminals.” Among these criminals was a Shiite cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr (again with the names). This did not please Shiite Iran, as response to the executions, they attacked and burned the Saudi embassy in Tehran.

No one knows exactly what  their “crimes” were – only that the verdict against the “47 criminals was based on Allah’s Book and the Prophet’s Sunnah.”

The Grand Mufti, or G-Muf to his homies, claims they were tried properly according to Shariah law and found guilty of killing and making explosives. Well, that’s good enough for me, cause we can’t have anyone killing or making explosives. And I’m sure the cleric Nimrod al-Nimrod, being Shiite, where as the Saudi’s are Sunni, was just a happy coincidence.

Grand Mufti

G-Muf

But the 72 old Grand Mufti, complete with gray beard and gnarled eye, is evidently not without a sense of humor as he stated that not only is ISIS enemy numero uno, but that they “are in actuality Israeli soldiers.” Huh – who knew.

“This threat against Israel is simply a lie. Actually, Daesh (ISIS) is part of the Israeli soldiers,” said G-Muf. “The mufti also dismissed the seriousness of the threat declared by self-proclaimed Islamic State caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. If the Islamic State was serious, al-Asheikh said, they would be ‘killing Jews and liberating Palestine.’” He labeled the Islamic State heretics and they were doing damage to Islam and Muslims.

Well G-Muf –ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black. Sure the Saudi royal family and their holy men, like G-Muf, all publically proclaim their disgust of Islamist terror, but there’s a little thing called Wahhabism, the radical Islamic ideology that dates back a lot further than that of the Islamic State. So it’s time for another history lesson that I’ll guarantee the Grand Mufti knows all about and I also bet he’s a big booster.

The radical Wahhabi movement was founded by – here we go again – Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab in the 1700’s. Now, we’ve heard that terrorists like ISIS wish to return to the time of the earliest Muslims in the 7th century. Well, that’s exactly what al-Wahhab wished to do.

Al-Wahhab created the “Kitab al-Tawid” or “Book of God’s Uniqueness,” which became the “guiding text for his followers, who consequently speak of themselves as Muwahhidun (total monotheists) or as Salafis (followers of the ways of the first Muslims).”

After being run out of his home town, al- Wahhab found refuge in the city of Diriyah, north of what is now Riyadh, a city then ruled by Muhammad ibn Saud. The two had a commonality of cause and al-Wahhab agreed to help Saud fight his battles and send messengers of the faith out to spread the word and convert Muslims to Wahhabism. Of course those who refused, just as today, didn’t fare well. The messengers declared that, “King Saud, who was presented as Allah’s chosen monarch to whom all Muslims had to pledge baya, or absolute allegiance, so as not to face annihilation as foes of god.” Sound familiar?

Between 1744 and 1818 Wahhabist preachers, and the troops that backed them up, swept across the region securing the first kingdom of the House of Saud, or Saudi Arabia. The Wahhabist beliefs ran so deep that even the mighty Ottoman empire couldn’t wipe them out completely.

In 1824 the Saudi kingdom reemerged. At the throne was Emirate of Nejd, who ruled the kingdom from it’s new capital, Riyadh, between 1824 and 1891. The third Saudi kingdom started in 1932, who’s ruler, Abdulaziz ibn Saud (’32 – ’53) used Wahhabism to unite the many tribes under the Saudi umbrella.

“King Faisal ibn Abdulaziz al-Saud (ruled 1964–75) decided the propaganda of Wahhabism, which proclaims the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the sole rightful defender of Islam, would become the long-term strategy for the monarchy’s survival.”

During the Cold War, Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (ruled 1982 until his death in 2005) saw the opportunity to spread Wahhabism using weaponized jihad. During Fahd’s reign, “Saudi Arabia spent $4 billion per year on mosques, madrassas, preachers, students, and textbooks to spread the Wahhabi creed over the next decades.” But they weren’t/aren’t educating aspiring holy man. They were/are training terrorists – jihadis using Wahhabist theology and oh by the way, American supplied weapons.

And it’s no different today. The Saudis claim to be our friends and allies against terror, but the House of Saud has been quietly funding Wahhabist terror for many decades. They have created the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and ISIS and their influence is global through their funding of thousands of Mosques and Muslim Centers, where radical Wahhabist preachers recruit new jihadists. Most of the more than 1200 Mosques in the U.S. were funded by the Saudis.

The Saudis are bad people and certainly not our friends. Their radical Wahhabist ideology, while kept under wraps, is entirely incompatible with America and a free, secular society.

So when we hear old G-Muf state that extremism and terrorism are not Islam, you know for fact, he is lying his a** off.

Iran arrests first American since nuke deal

The Iranian government has arrested an Iranian-American businessman living in Dubai, according to multiple reports on Friday, in what is likely to be interpreted as a signal of a crackdown following the international nuclear deal.

The man, Siamak Namazi, is the head of strategic planning at an energy company and was arrested by an arm of the Revolutionary Guards Corps two weeks ago while visiting family in Tehran, multiple news outlets reported. He is believed to be in his late 40s.

Namazi is the fourth American known to be Death to Americaimprisoned in Iran; his arrest signals new discord in the relationship between Tehran and the western world on the heels of the nuclear pact. A fifth American went missing in 2007, and Iran is believed to have knowledge of his whereabouts. The arrest of Namazi is also being seen as a sign of the ongoing friction between Iran’s hard-liners and President Hassan Rouhani, who has pushed for reforms.

It is likely to send a chill through any in the business community looking to exploit new opportunities in the country as international sanctions dissipate in coming months, under Perspectivethe terms of the nuclear accord. The deal lifts international sanctions on Iran’s oil and financial sectors in exchange for limits on its nuclear program.

The Washington Post reported that Namazi’s family came to the U.S. when he was a boy in 1983. He returned to Iran after college, to serve in the military, and has had business in the country for more than a decade, the newspaper added. Namazi was a proponent of greater engagement between the U.S. and Iran. In 2013, he wrote an op-ed in The New York Times urging countries to relax their restrictions so that life-saving medical supplies can be sent into Iran. “The West must relax and rationalize the terms of its sanctions regime against Iran to allow more Bright-Future-NRD-600medical goods into the country,” he wrote. “If it doesn’t, more Iranian men, women and children will suffer needlessly.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, Iranian intelligence agents ransacked Namazi’s family home in Tehran and took his computer. His email contacts have become the target of cyberattacks, the newspaper added.

Critics of the Obama administration’s stance toward Iran have chided the president for signing the nuclear pact without assuring commitments about the imprisoned Americans.

The Iranian government has suggested a willingness to trade the prisoners for an undefined group of Iranians in U.S. jails.

Secretary of State John Kerry met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif on Thursday in Vienna to discuss the nuclear deal. The two are among a group of international diplomats gathered in Austria to talk options for ending the civil war in Syria.

Iran to Sell Enriched Uranium?

ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ARTPitiful-Deal-NRD-600Secretary of State John Kerry must be quite the negotiator. The Foreign Policy Initiative has compiled not U.S. opening positions but rather President Obama and Kerry’s red lines, almost all of which Obama and Kerry collapsed upon.

For example, in December 2013, Kerry spoke about the need for Iran to dismantle its nuclear program, a position in line with six UN Security Council Resolutions, and yet Obama and Kerry ultimately blessed Iran maintaining more P1 centrifuges than Pakistan maintained when that state built its nuclear arsenal.

Then, there was the underground nuclear facility at Fordow. Speaking at the Brookings Institution, PerspectiveObama said, “We know that they don’t need to have an underground, fortified facility like Fordow in order to have a peaceful nuclear program.” He was right, but conceded Iran’s ability to maintain its hardened facility anyway.

When it comes to Iran’s uranium enrichment, Obama and Kerry conceded Iran’s “right to enrich” right out of the gate, the negotiating equivalent of meeting the used car salesman’s first price, and then limiting negotiations to whether or not there would be leather seats. Don’t worry, the deal proponents said. Iran would take its surplus enriched uranium stockpiles and dilute them or convert them into oxide.

Obama%20Netanyahu%20Iran%20Nuke%20Deal%20CartoonWell, it seems now that Iran had other plans. According to Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Iran may sell its enriched uranium “to a foreign country” in exchange for additional natural uranium.

So, a plan that Obama and team swore would make the Middle East and the world safer and successfully contain proliferation may now actually increase the provision of enriched uranium to countries that may harbor ambitions to proliferate themselves. Araghchi did not mention to which countries Iran might sell enriched uranium, nor has the United States Missing-Piece-600-LIasked. Now, many potential producers of natural uranium the United States need not worry about: It is doubtful, for example, Japan, Australia, or Bulgaria. But, there are other countries — Algeria and Argentina — for example, that could present real problems should they seek to jump-start their nuclear programs. Argentina’s relationship with Iran, in particular, bears closer scrutiny, especially after the assassination of Alberto Nisman, a prosecutor who was pursuing illegal Argentine-Iranian dealings.

Much can be said about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the so-called Iran deal. That it made the world safer is not a claim that can be Bright-Future-NRD-600substantiated, however, as Iranian declarations and revelations coming seemingly every single week now demonstrate.

Iran Rejects Obama’s Iran Nuke Pact, Writes Own ‘Deal’ To Disarm Israel

The Iranian parliament has rejected the formal, legal text of President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal, negotiated in July by the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Russia, China and the Tehran regime. Instead, the majilis approved their own version of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), creating a situation where the Iranian government simply hasn’t signed on to the accord that Obama and Democratic Senators obligated the United States to uphold.Side-Deal-600-LI

Western media incorrectly reported that the majilis approved the actual text of the JCPOA, according to experts.

New York Post columnist Amir Taheri has explained in a series of social media posts that Iran’s version of the deal calls for the cancellation of sanctions against the regime in Tehran. He also noted that Iran’s version of the nuke deal calls for the dismantling of Israel’s nuclear weapons program, citing Iranian parliamentarian Kazem Jalali.Deal-Vest

The Middle East Media Research Center (MEMRI), a regional watchdog organization, has confirmed that Iran did not pass the deal agreed upon in July. They instead voted to pass the  amended version by a vote of 161-59.

Iranian lawmakers tried to unilaterally amend the deal to strip the United States’ ability to “snapback” sanctions should the Tehran regime cheat the agreement. They also replaced the language to ensure that the deal will “cancel” sanctions forever, instead of “suspending” them, MEMRI reported.

The Middle East monitoring group added that the decision to amend the deal unilaterally came at the behest of Iran’s dictator, Ali Khamenei, who on September 3 promised not to honor the agreement with Obama.Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600

Iran-Cheat-600-LAMoreover, the American Enterprise Institute’s Iran Tracker site noted that Iran considered its unilateral amendments to the deal as four “minor changes.”

Separately, as Iranian regime parliamentarians were voting on their own version of the nuke deal, its military was testing a precision-guided ballistic missile in direct violation of United Nations Security Resolution 1929.

The Iranian government has ramped up its regional aggression in the past few months, as Iran is set to soon receive tens of billions of dollars in unfrozen assets.Deflated Diplomacy

Tehran’s military is now deeply involved in the ongoing civil war in Syria, with some estimates stating that there are 7,000 soldiers in Syria attempting to prop up Bashar al-Assad’s dictatorial rule. Iran has also continued to provide aid and arms to terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah, and has assisted the Houthi insurgents in Yemen. Multiple Gulf states have also accused the regime of backing terrorist movements that seek to overthrow their governments.

“[T]he administration has shown a dangerous naivety regarding who it is dealing with,” Ed Royce said in a statement. (AP Photo)

PerspectiveTop Republicans in Congress criticized the administration’s strategy in Iran on Monday, saying recent actions prove President Obama made a mistake in securing a nuclear deal with a country that cannot be trusted.

Over the weekend, Iran tested a long-range ballistic missile, prompting some to wonder if it had already broken the newly-signed nuclear deal. Iran also announced the conviction of American reporter Jason Rezaian, who has been held in an Iranian jail for more than a year.

Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., said these Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600moves demonstrate that the Obama administration has failed in its negotiations with Iran.

“[T]he administration has shown a dangerous naivety regarding who it is dealing with,” Royce, the chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee, said in a statement. “The administration didn’t get Jason released when it had the leverage of the nuclear agreement. It must redouble efforts to get Jason and the other imprisoned Americans home now.”

O-Muslim-600-LIRezaian, an Iranian-American reporter for the Washington Post, has been held in an Iranian prison for 447 days, according to a Post report. Iranian officials announced over the weekend that he was convicted in a trial not open to any outside witnesses, though it’s still unclear on which charges he was convicted.

Rezaian faced four charges, the most serious of which is espionage. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years, the Post reported.

Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said Iran’s opaque handling of Rezaian’s trial proves that the country should Missing-Piece-600-LInot be trusted to inspect itself, as required by the nuclear deal negotiated in July.

“President Obama’s gamble that a nuclear deal would lead to a more responsible Iran has already failed,” he said in a statement.

Iran tested its newest long-range ballistic missile over the weekend, dubbed “Emad,” or Pillar. The move prompted many to speculate whether the launch violated the nuclear deal, but Iran claimed that it did not, saying the country has always Obama%20Netanyahu%20Iran%20Nuke%20Deal%20Cartoonretained a right to advance its own national security.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said these two issues show that while the administration claimed the nuclear agreement would improve and strengthen relations with Iran, the opposite seems to be happening.

“Iran’s increasing malign behavior in the past few weeks is the dangerous, yet predictable consequence of the administration’s long habit of ignoring and downplaying the broader Deflated Diplomacythreat that Iran poses,” said McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. “The president needs to give up on his failed policy of acquiescing to Iranian power and start doing significantly more to counter it.”

IranIraselNukesBarack Obama wrote 46 personal letters this month to felons imprisoned for non-violent drug offenses but he couldn’t find the time to write a letter to Kathryn Steinle’s family whose father held her in his arms as she died. Her final words were, “Help me Dad.”  Nor could Barack Obama find a way to free our Americans held in Iranians prisons.

Mr. Obama ignored the imprisoned Americans when the nuclear deal was finalized because it didn’t involve nuclear he said. Of course the conventional weapons he included in the treaty at the last minute also didn’t have anything to do with nuclear.

While he lets former Marine Amir Hekmati, ex-FBI Agent Robert Levinson, Christian pastor Saeed Abedini and Washington Post Iran Bureau Chief Jason Rezaian, in the order they are pictured below, rot in violent Iranian prisons, he has removed all sanctions from an Iranian commander responsible for the deaths of more than 1,000 U.S. soldiers.

Soleimani helped Shiite militias in Iraq slaughter U.S. soldiers. He sent copper-tiipped IEDs into Iraq, killing at least 500 of our soldiers and Marines in one effort alone, the Daily Beast reports.

ISIS planning ‘nuclear tsunami’

In this Sept. 27, 2015, file photo, President Barack Obama speaks at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit, Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at the United Nations headquarters. Face-to-face for the first time in nearly a year, Obama and Russian President … more >

Nuclear annihilation across the globe. This is what a German reporter who successfully embedded with the Islamic State says the terror group is planning. Jurgen Todenhofer released his findings in a book titled “Inside IS – Ten Days in the Islamic State,” reports the UK’s Daily Express.

“The terrorists plan on killing several hundred million people. The west is drastically underestimating the power of ISIS. ISIS intends to get its hands on nuclear weapons,” says Todenhofer, calling the group a “nuclear tsunami preparing the largest religious cleansing in history.”

“They now control land greater in size than the United Kingdom and are supported by an almost ecstatic enthusiasm the like of which I’ve never encountered before in a war zone. Every day hundreds of willing fighters from all over the world come. They are the most brutal and most dangerous enemy I have ever seen in my life. I don’t see anyone who has a real chance to stop them. Only Arabs can stop IS. I came back very pessimistic.”against America

With the ink not yet dry on the “Iran nuclear deal,” Middle Eastern states opposed to Persian domination of the region now are actively pursuing a nuclear weapons capability of their own. President Obama’s deal could literally mean an arms race that could lead to nuclear devastation as Saudi Arabia and others look to get the bomb as well to counter Iran. With more countries obtaining nukes, the greater the possibility terrorists could obtain a weapon, which could be used to attack Israel or the West.
