Olympic Committee Buckles to LGBT Pressure With Rule Change

The liberal obsession with “equality” has just taken a very bizarre turn… and it could ironically make the next Olympics very unfair. The International Olympic Committee has announced that the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea will not have any sex or gender standards for athletes, according to The Daily Caller.

That means that athletes can compete in any gender category they wish — which includes stronger and faster biological men  taking on women for Olympic medals.

“[T]here will be no regulations in place at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 as we are still awaiting the resolution of the Dutee Chand case,” the committee stated in an email provided to The Daily Caller.

Dutee Chand is an Indian sprinter who was previously suspended from competitions due to her hyperandrogenism, a condition that gives her a testosterone advantage compared to other female competitors. Another athlete who reportedly has the same condition is Caster Semenya, a middle distance runner from South Africa. She took gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics, but her very high testosterone levels made other female athletes question her eligibility.

“These kind of people should not run with us,” stated Italian runner Elisa Cusma, according to The New York Times. “For me, she is not a woman. She is a man.”

Science confirms what common sense already knows: Men have dramatically higher testosterone levels than women, and that gives them an advantage in many fast-paced athletic events.

“Testosterone, found in both men and women has been linked with increased muscle, bone mass, and competitive drive. The average male produces much more of it than the average female, roughly 35 nmol/L. Women usually produce less than 3 nmol/L,” explained The Daily Caller, citing U.S. National Library of Medicine studies.

Experts from the International Association of Athletics Federations have stated that although some women do have higher testosterone levels than others, a healthy female still has nowhere near the average male levels.

“Sweden-based Professor Martin Ritzén, a specialist in pediatric endocrinology, testified on behalf of the IAAF and said the probability of a healthy woman reaching 10 nmol/L of testosterone was ‘zero,’” continued The Daily Caller.

In other words, the separation between male and female competitors in games like the Olympics is based on science, and allows women to be recognized for their athletic achievements while acknowledging the physical differences that exist. However, intersex and transgender competitors may have testosterone levels that are much closer to normal male levels.

It isn’t that far-fetched to envision male athletes who are mediocre in their performance declare themselves “transgender” in order to enter and win women’s events.

That has already happened at the high school level. A runner named Andraya Yearwood was born a male, but recently competed and won as a girl at the Connecticut state track finals. TheBlaze reported that the “trans identifying” Yearwood has left his… er, her… female competitors behind, and in tears.

In the name of “fairness,” the left seems intent on trampling over everyone who doesn’t participate in their social justice experiments. The basis of sport is a level playing field — but performance-enhancing testosterone being allowed in the name of “equalitytilts the competition in one direction.

Will even more women now be left behind by men who choose to identify as the opposite gender in order to win medals? If the next Olympics is any indication, the answer is yes.

Man Who Went Through Sex Change Surgery Warns It ‘Will Ruin Your Life, Destructive Body Mutilation’

If you want to know what the transgender procedure and surgery process is like, don’t ask someone who has never been through the process themselves… ask person who has done it.

Enter Walt Heyer, who penned an article at the The Daily Signalwhom went under the knife for a full transgender procedure; taking hormones and having his male genitalia cut off. The whole nine-yards just so he can live as a woman. After the procedure was done Heyer realized he made a terrible mistake.

The ‘world-famous’ surgeon — Stanley Bider of Trinidad, Colorado — did warn Heyer although he was undergoing this transgender procedure, it would never change his biology into that of a woman’s. In his column, Heyer notes that Trinidad is known as the “Sex Change Capital of the World,” and Biber said he has performed over 5,000 such surgeries during his career.

It was eight years after his surgery that Heyer recognized his mistake. He noted that for him to legally change his gender back to male, he needed to file a petition with the California Superior Court to verify he met certain criteria. Bider, therefore, had to write the letter of verification that Heyer met the medical criteria. In it he acknowledged that hormones and surgery had not changed Heyer into a woman.

Heyer writes, “In the letter, he testified that the surgery and cross-gender hormones had the effect of neutering my external appearance and genitalia, but my internal biological structure and my genetics were still male.”

Heyer quoted another transgender surgery survivor, Rene Jax, who wrote in his 2016 book, DON’T Get on The Plane!, “Sex change surgery will ruin your life.”

In biology, an organism is male or female if it is structured to perform one of the respective roles in reproduction. This definition does not require any arbitrary measurable or quantifiable physical characteristics or behaviors; it requires understanding the reproductive system and the reproduction process.

Heyer points out, “Too many post-surgical patients contact me to report they deeply regret the gender change surgery and that the false hope of surgical outcomes was a factor. For children, the focus on encouraging, assisting, and affirming them toward changing genders at earlier and earlier ages, with no research showing the outcomes, may lead to more suicides.”

I’ve become an outspoken critic of gender reassignment surgeries because many people are not being treated for other co-existing problems first. Instead, they are quickly prescribed cross-gender hormones and shuttled on a path toward surgery. But as noted earlier, this surgery cannot succeed in delivering what it promises. It will only mutilate the body, a far cry from the promised “sex change.”

Much to the consternation of LGBT advocates and the liberal media, President Donald Trump did away with a rather progressive rule regarding transgenderism imposed on the military by former President Barack Obama, and Trump did it, of course, via Twitter. In the Twitter post, Trump announced that, henceforth, transgender individuals would no longer be permitted to serve in the U.S. military “in any capacity,” which of course sparked massive outrage among his ideological opponents.

But the Independent Journal Review figured that, since this ban on transgender people in the military will pretty much only affect the military, maybe we should see what actual members of the military think about it instead of asking political advocates and talking heads in the liberal media. It was an eye-opening move. 

“Only two things matter: Survivability and lethality,” stated Army Sgt. Darian Browning, who served in the 82nd Airborne. “Anything other than that is a distraction. We have budget problems, also, already.

“The stated purpose of the Army is to ‘fight and win the Nation’s land wars,’” added Browning. “Any decisions or budget fixes should be centered around that and that alone.”

“The military is a machine that doesn’t breakdown for politics,” said Marine Sgt. Sean Conner, Iraq veteran and MARSOC Raider. “I can assure you that the reasoning for this decision is for the benefit of the whole system.” 

“Considering less than 1 percent identify as transgender in the military, it would be a major burden, and the cost benefit analysis would be in the favor of not allowing this policy to go through,” Conner continued. “The amount of change, cost and redirection would not outweigh the very small pros, if any.”

“The military had it right before with Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, or else things get complicated real quick,” he added. “The rules were there before Trump came around and for good reason. I empathize if they want to serve, but just do it without having to announce your sexual orientation — it’s pretty simple.”

Connor also noted that service members undergoing hormone therapy or sex-change operations are not permitted to work full duty or be deployed, sometimes up to two years, essentially rendering them a waste of time, training, resources and taxpayer money. 

Marine Staff Sgt. Josh Ghering, a veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq and a former drill instructor, seemed to agree with that last bit pointed out by Conner about transitioning troops being removed from the routine all others must endure.

“We need to be focused on how to improve our warfighting ability, period,” he said.

“If transgendered individuals are being taken out for these procedures and treatments, they are not being trained properly,” he continued. “Before we go to war, we train for over a year on ranges and with regimen after regimen. So then we take these individuals out of training to get their surgery. But what good are they if we are over in a war zone and they aren’t able to contribute to the fight because they’re going through therapy or recovering from said surgery?” 

He added that “the military is not a social experiment. Its objective is to fight wars. That’s where its sole focus should be.”

“I believe that the infantry and combat arms should stay male. (male: being born with male genitalia),” stated wounded Iraq veteran and Army Sgt. Jay Strobino. “In the military, your roles, positions and tasks are very clear and outlined. And I have nothing against transgendered people or homosexuals, but it’ll start confusing those roles.”

“It’s not the ability so much of the individual, because yes there are plenty of females that can out lift me, out run me and so on,” explained Strobino. “But it’s a lower average as a whole, just due to body limitations. And you can’t have two sets of standards for the same group. It just won’t work.”

Strobino asserted that lowering standards to accommodate those with lesser abilities would be worse than having two sets of standards.

“If you’re under the standard then you either train and improve, or you’re not in combat arms,” he said. “There’s no middle ground.”

However, while most of those questioned by the Independent Journal Review supported the policy change in principle, there was at least one who disagreed with it and another who generally supported the idea, but questioned the manner in which it was rolled out.

“I don’t like that he just ran with it. He should have had a policy ready to go and Mattis should have rolled it out,” stated Army sniper Gregory Diacogiannis, an Iraq War veteran.

“The military is here to destroy the enemy. It’s not a social experiment. We shouldn’t be using the military as a petri dish to push progressive ideas,” he continued. “They are a killing machine. People are denied service for all kinds of reasons. Why should we treat people with gender dysphoria differently?”

Diacogiannis maintained that such individuals are in need of help and the military is not the place for them to receive such help, nor would it help the military, and noted that treating people differently or having differing sets of standards would be detrimental to overall morale.

“You will ‘other’ them because they will become a protected class. In combat everyone is equal, it doesn’t matter if you are black, white, gay, straight, man, or woman,” he explained. “But if you let other people live by a different standard you crush morale. Also, we are talking about 0.1 percent of the population not being able to serve.”

Finally, the lone voice of disagreement found by IJR was Afghanistan veteran and Army Ranger Zac Oja, who stated, “I’m curious to see how this will be implemented. Will the openly transgendered individuals currently serving be forced out of the military? Will they be forced to ‘identify’ with what their birth certificate says for gender?

“This, in my opinion, is going to do nothing markedly positive but will open the flood gate to the left for open dissent against this new policy,” he added.

Oja suggested that more time should have been given for further study of the costs/benefits of transgender service members openly serving in the military, in order to gain a better overall understanding of the matter.

“I will say that I have heard nothing but good things from dear friends that have served with openly transgender soldiers,” added Oja.

The media most likely want nothing more than a division’s worth of soldiers vehemently castigating the president and calling this latest policy shift nothing short of horrible, but that is not what they are going to find, at least not with this batch of troops.

To be sure, there will be a handful like Oja who may disagree with the premise, or others, like Diacogiannis who disliked the manner in which it was introduced, but by and large, most members of the military are sure to be at least quietly supportive of the change. They know that the military is not the realm for progressive social engineering and tinkering, but instead is supposed to be a finely tuned killing machine that wastes no time or energy on anything else.

Supreme Court won’t hear transgender bathroom case

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a high-profile case on transgender rights, sending it back to the lower courts. The justices tossed out a ruling Monday that allowed Gavin Grimm, a transgender boy in Virginia, to use the bathroom he chooses, and ordered that a lower court reconsider the case in light of new guidance issued by the Trump administration last month.

The justices had planned to hear arguments later this month and both sides had pressed for the high court to weigh in amid a national debate over rights for the transgendered.

Grimm, born female, was barred from using the boy’s bathroom in 2014 after the Gloucester County School Board enacted a policy requiring all students to use the bathroom that corresponds with the gender assigned at birth. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with Grimm, who argued that the school board “impermissibly discriminated against him” in violation of Title IX anti-discrimination laws and his constitutional right to equal protection under the law.  The court cited Obama administration guidance that transgender students should be allowed to use the bathrooms corresponding to their gender identity, claiming those rights were covered federal anti-discrimination laws addressing “sex.”But on Feb. 22, the Trump Justice Department and Education Department sent a letter to the lower court rescinding that Obama guidance.

The fight now returns to the lower court, where both sides vowed to press forward with their case.

“On remand to the lower courts, the Board looks forward to explaining why its commonsense restroom and locker room policy is legal under the Constitution and federal law,” the Gloucester County School Board said in a statement. LGBTQ advocates expressed disappointment in the justices’ decision.

“This announcement speaks volumes to the ways that President Trump’s actions are already having devastating consequences for transgender youth across the country,” said Freedom for All Americans Executive Director Matt McTighe, in a statement.

“All students, including transgender students, deserve to participate fully and succeed in school, and to feel safe and respected while doing so.”

At issue is whether Title IX’s anti-discrimination measures can force schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice. The Obama guidance said it did. The Trump administration in withdrawing that guidance said the Obama administration failed to “explain how the position is consistent with the express language of Title IX,” but didn’t make their own case for whether Title IX applies. Legal experts say it’s unclear what the Fourth Circuit will do.

“It could ask for more briefing, it could send it back to the district judge to rule on the merits and then let it come back up,” said Carl Tobias, a professor at the University of Richmond School of Law.

“It could also wait and see what DOJ and DOE [Department of Education] are planning on doing or it could just go forward and reach the merits under Title IX and try to discern the legislative intent from 1972.”

In a statement, Mark Phillis, a discrimination and harassment lawyer at Littler Mendelson P.C., said there are two cases pending before the Second Circuit and Seventh Circuit Courts in which the interpretation of “sex” is being considered in the employment context under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

“Since Title IX cases often look to cases decided under Title VII, these cases could have an impact on the way the this case may be decided,” he said.

Legal experts say that the issue could eventually end up back before the Supreme Court, with other cases also making their way through the courts.

“No question about it,” Tobias said. “It’s just a matter of which case is the right case.”

He said Grimm’s case was premature. “The district court never reached the merits,” he said. “I don’t know why they granted cert.” 

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which brought the case forward on Grimm’s behalf, told the justices on March 1 that the Trump administration’s actions made it critical for the high court to quickly resolve the question of transgender students and bathrooms.

“[T]he Court will inevitably have to settle the question by clarifying the proper interpretation of Title IX,” the group said.

Trump Is Taking America Back! Reverses Obama’s Transgender Bathroom Rules

He is the best! He stopped the crazy Obama rule that mandated to all schools and colleges to allow transgender bathrooms! In a clear shift away from his predecessor, President Donald Trump’s White House has asked a judge to cancel a crucial hearing in a legal appeal over an Obama-era rule regarding transgender bathroom use.

Former President Barack Obama issued a controversial administrative rule in May 2016 extending Title IX protections to transgendered individuals, ensuring their right to use the bathroom they claim aligns with their gender identity. Had state-funded schools, colleges and universities not complied with the directive, it could put public institutions at risk of losing federal funding.

As a result, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor temporarily blocked the Obama directive nationwide in August. In his ruling, O’Connor said Title IX “is not ambiguous” about sex being defined as the biological and anatomical differences between male and female students as determined at their birth.”

Trump is going to bring back family values and Christian values to America again! It’s time this country to become conservative and normal again! We should stop with the promotion of liberal sick values, all that sick attitude, we have to be normal and sane and good people again!

No more transgender, gay, abortions, drugs, crimes, illegals etc… We have to have law and order, strong police, strong border, strong military, strong churches, more freedom, less socialism, less communism, less utopia, lower taxes, less regulation!

John Kerry Announces “Solidarity” with the World’s Transgender Community

kerry_57positionsJohn Kerry wants everyone to know that the United States stands in “solidarity” with the transgender community around the world.

The Washington Examiner reports – Secretary of State John Kerry honored the memory of transgender individuals who lost their lives to “senseless acts of violence” on Sunday and said the U.S. stands in “solidarity” with the community around the world.

“Transgender persons around the world are targeted by rising levels of violence fueled by hatred and bigotry,” Kerry said in a statement recognizing Transgender Day of Remembrance. “This is a global challenge and we all must do more to protect transgender persons on the basis of equality and dignity.”

He said that in the U.S., the Constitution “enshrines freedoms of peaceful assembly, speech and association, and it affirms that everyone has equal protection under the law.” 

“Around the world,” he added, “human rights and fundamental freedoms are recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that every person is born free and equal in dignity and rights. Every person includes transgender women, transgender men, and other individuals who face marginalization on account of their gender expression or gender identity.”more

Isn’t it interesting with which groups the Obama administration has sworn solidarity?  Here are some other examples:  with Intersex individuals, over immigration reform, with Syrian refugees.

  • But, they feel no solidarity with parents of children who do not wish to have them share bathrooms/locker rooms with members of the opposite sex??
  • They feel no solidarity with Americans who are fearful of they myriad of threats posed by undocumented, hastily screened illegals and/or refugees??

To say that this administration is out of touch with the pulse of everyday America is an understatement.  This is not to say that we should tolerate violence, hatred or bigotry.   But, it could be argued that the push for ‘human rights’ for transgenders (as for illegals or for refugees) has degraded human rights for the majority of the population.

The definition of solidarity is  “unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group.”  Perhaps John Kerry should pay a little more attention to the definition of the word.  Because, in recent times, the best example of true solidarity was the solidarity displayed by average Americans, when we acted as ‘individuals with a common interest’ to deny the continuation of these insufferable (even unconstitutional) policies and opinions.more-forced

Pittsburgh Area School District Enters the Bathroom Fray

In reaction to this, the President gave the order of compliance through the Board of Education and the Department of Justice. It was warned that all federally funded schools must comply with Obama’s interpretation of Title IX of the Education Amendment.

This led to the pending lawsuit by twenty states, challenging the president’s interpretation. But now another institution has entered the legal melee.

Three students in the Pittsburgh area who identify as transgender have sued their school district over its new resolution that student should use the restroom that correlates with their biological gender.

Jacob Evancho, who goes by the name Juliet, Erik Ridenour, who goes by the name Elissa, and a third student who has only identified themselves as A.S., have sued the Pine-Richland School District for changing its rules regarding restroom use.

Last month, the Pine-Richland School District overturned its longstanding practice of allowing students to use the restroom that corresponds with their “gender identity.”

This school district has stepped out to bring things back to the way that they have always been. And they are doing this in spite of the fact that they might have to fight this battle alone.engineering

“All schools in Pennsylvania that receive federal funding are expected to comply with the requirements as outlined by the U.S. Departments of Education and Justice,” said spokesperson Casey Smith. “The Wolf administration is committed to creating a culture of inclusiveness across the commonwealth. Almost Everything the Media Tell You About Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Is Wrong

A major new report, published today in the journal The New Atlantis, challenges the leading narratives that the media has pushed regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.

Co-authored by two of the nation’s leading scholars on mental health and sexuality, the 143-page report discusses over 200 peer-reviewed studies in the biological, psychological, and social sciences, painstakingly documenting what scientific research shows and does not show about sexuality and gender.

The major takeaway, as the editor of the journal explains, is that “some of the most frequently heard claims about sexuality and gender are not supported by scientific evidence.”

Here are four of the report’s most important conclusions:

The belief that sexual orientation is an innate, biologically fixed human property—that people are ‘born that way’—is not supported by scientific evidence.

Likewise, the belief that gender identity is an innate, fixed human property independent of biological sex—so that a person might be a ‘man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’—is not supported by scientific evidence.

Only a minority of children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behavior will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood. There is no evidence that all such children should be encouraged to become transgender, much less subjected to hormone treatments or surgery.

Non-heterosexual and transgender people have higher rates of mental health problems (anxiety, depression, suicide), as well as behavioral and social problems (substance abuse, intimate partner violence), than the general population. Discrimination alone does not account for the entire disparity.

The report, “Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences,” is co-authored by Dr. Lawrence Mayer and Dr. Paul McHugh. Mayer is a scholar-in-residence in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and a professor of statistics and biostatistics at Arizona State University.

McHugh, whom the editor of The New Atlantis describes as “arguably the most important American psychiatrist of the last half-century,” is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was for 25 years the psychiatrist-in-chief at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. It was during his tenure as psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins that he put an end to sex reassignment surgery there, after a study launched at Hopkins revealed that it didn’t have the benefits for which doctors and patients had long hoped.

Implications for Policy

The report focuses exclusively on what scientific research shows and does not show. But this science can have implications for public policy.

The report reviews rigorous research showing that ‘only a minority of children who experience cross-gender identification will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood.’

Take, for example, our nation’s recent debates over transgender policies in schools. One of the consistent themes of the report is that science does not support the claim that “gender identity” is a fixed property independent of biological sex, but rather that a combination of biological, environmental, and experiential factors likely shape how individuals experience and express themselves when it comes to sex and gender.

The report also discusses the reality of neuroplasticity: that all of our brains can and do change throughout our lives (especially, but not only, in childhood) in response to our behavior and experiences. These changes in the brain can, in turn, influence future behavior.

This provides more reason for concern over the Obama administration’s recent transgender school policies. Beyond the privacy and safety concerns, there is thus also the potential that such policies will result in prolonged identification as transgender for students who otherwise would have naturally grown out of it.

The report reviews rigorous research showing that “only a minority of children who experience cross-gender identification will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood.” Policymakers should be concerned with how misguided school policies might encourage students to identify as girls when they are boys, and vice versa, and might result in prolonged difficulties. Beyond school policies, the report raises concerns about proposed medical intervention in children. Mayer and McHugh write: “We are disturbed and alarmed by the severity and irreversibility of some interventions being publicly discussed and employed for children.”

They continue: “We are concerned by the increasing tendency toward encouraging children with gender identity issues to transition to their preferred gender through medical and then surgical procedures.” But as they note, “There is little scientific evidence for the therapeutic value of interventions that delay puberty or modify the secondary sex characteristics of adolescents.”

Findings on Transgender Issues

The same goes for social or surgical gender transitions in general. Mayer and McHugh note that the “scientific evidence summarized suggests we take a skeptical view toward the claim that sex reassignment procedures provide the hoped for benefits or resolve the underlying issues that contribute to elevated mental health risks among the transgender population.” Even after sex reassignment surgery, patients with gender dysphoria still experience poor outcomes:

Compared to the general population, adults who have undergone sex reassignment surgery continue to have a higher risk of experiencing poor mental health outcomes. One study found that, compared to controls, sex-reassigned individuals were about five times more likely to attempt suicide and about 19 times more likely to die by suicide.

Mayer and McHugh urge researchers and physicians to work to better “understand whatever factors may contribute to the high rates of suicide and other psychological and behavioral health problems among the transgender population, and to think more clearly about the treatment options that are available.” They continue:

In reviewing the scientific literature, we find that almost nothing is well understood when we seek biological explanations for what causes some individuals to state that their gender does not match their biological sex. … Better research is needed, both to identify ways by which we can help to lower the rates of poor mental health outcomes and to make possible more informed discussion about some of the nuances present in this field.

Policymakers should take these findings very seriously. For example, the Obama administration recently finalized a new Department of Health and Human Services mandate that requires all health insurance plans under Obamacare to cover sex reassignment treatments and all relevant physicians to perform them. The regulations will force many physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers to participate in sex reassignment surgeries and treatments, even if doing so violates their moral and religious beliefs or their best medical judgment.

Rather than respect the diversity of opinions on sensitive and controversial health care issues, the regulations endorse and enforce one highly contested and scientifically unsupported view. As Mayer and McHugh urge, more research is needed, and physicians need to be free to practice the best medicine.

Stigma, Prejudice Don’t Explain Tragic Outcomes

The report also highlights that people who identify as LGBT face higher risks of adverse physical and mental health outcomes, such as “depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and most alarmingly, suicide.” The report summarizes some of those findings:

Members of the non-heterosexual population are estimated to have about 1.5 times higher risk of experiencing anxiety disorders than members of the heterosexual population, as well as roughly double the risk of depression, 1.5 times the risk of substance abuse, and nearly 2.5 times the risk of suicide.

Members of the transgender population are also at higher risk of a variety of mental health problems compared to members of the non-transgender population. Especially alarmingly, the rate of lifetime suicide attempts across all ages of transgender individuals is estimated at 41 percent, compared to under 5 percent in the overall U.S. population.

What accounts for these tragic outcomes? Mayer and McHugh investigate the leading theory—the “social stress model”—which proposes that “stressors like stigma and prejudice account for much of the additional suffering observed in these subpopulations.”

But they argue that the evidence suggests that this theory “does not seem to offer a complete explanation for the disparities in the outcomes.” It appears that social stigma and stress alone cannot account for the poor physical and mental health outcomes that LGBT-identified people face.

One study found that, compared to controls, sex-reassigned individuals were about five times more likely to attempt suicide and about 19 times more likely to die by suicide.

As a result, they conclude that “More research is needed to uncover the causes of the increased rates of mental health problems in the LGBT subpopulations.” And they call on all of us work to “alleviate suffering and promote human health and flourishing.”

Findings Contradict Claims in Supreme Court’s Gay Marriage Ruling

Finally, the report notes that scientific evidence does not support the claim that people are “born that way” with respect to sexual orientation. The narrative pushed by Lady Gaga and others is not supported by the science. A combination of biological, environmental, and experiential factors likely account for an individual’s sexual attractions, desires, and identity, and “there are no compelling causal biological explanations for human sexual orientation.”

Furthermore, the scientific research shows that sexual orientation is more fluid than the media suggests. The report notes that “Longitudinal studies of adolescents suggest that sexual orientation may be quite fluid over the life course for some people, with one study estimating that as many as 80 percent of male adolescents who report same-sex attractions no longer do so as adults.”

These findings—that scientific research does not support the claim that sexual orientation is innate and immutable—directly contradict claims made by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy in last year’s Obergefell ruling. Kennedy wrote, “their immutable nature dictates that same-sex marriage is their only real path to this profound commitment” and “in more recent years have psychiatrists and others recognized that sexual orientation is both a normal expression of human sexuality and immutable.”warning warning

But the science does not show this.

While the marriage debate was about the nature of what marriage is, incorrect scientific claims about sexual orientation were consistently used in the campaign to redefine marriage.

In the end, Mayer and McHugh observe that much about sexuality and gender remains unknown. They call for honest, rigorous, and dispassionate research to help better inform public discourse and, more importantly, sound medical practice.

As this research continues, it’s important that public policy not declare scientific debates over, or rush to legally enforce and impose contested scientific theories. As Mayer and McHugh note, “Everyone—scientists and physicians, parents and teachers, lawmakers and activists—deserves access to accurate information about sexual orientation and gender identity.”

We all must work to foster a culture where such information can be rigorously pursued and everyone—whatever their convictions, and whatever their personal situation—is treated with the civility, respect, and generosity that each of us deserves.

The Transgender Delusion Revisited

Suppose there is a group of men, in their thirties and forties, pretending they can fly, and they’re running around a city park with their arms spread out like wings.  What would do and what would you think? As far as what you would do, like most folks today, you would probably watch the action for a few minutes recording the whole thing on your phone.  Then you would post it on social media so you and your friends can have a laugh. As to what you would think, perhaps it crossed your mind that these people were a little crazy.  Harmless, yes, but off their rocker nonetheless.

Now suppose one of those middle-aged men went to the top of a twenty story building and stood on the edge poised to jump off while flapping his arms? Now, what would you do? You would probably call the police. And they, in turn, would call the guys in the white jackets!  Why? Because this person, you would rightly conclude, has a serious screw loose. He has lost touch with reality and is going to hurt himself and possibly others.  In short, his pretending to be able to fly by just flapping his arms while jumping off a twenty story building is not sane.  And no one would dispute that this person has a mental disorder.

This was the conclusion of Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry.

In 2015 he wrote in the Wall Street Journal that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.

He likens the disorder to a “dangerously thin” person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are “overweight.”

And what does our President, cultural, and medical community do?  In the words of Dr. McHugh, they encourage these people in their delusion instead of getting them the mental help they need. Transgender

While the Obama administration, Hollywood, and major media such as Time magazine promote transgenderism as normal, said Dr. McHugh, these “policy makers, and the media are doing no favors either to the public or the transgendered by treating their confusions as a right in need of defending rather than as a mental disorder that deserves understanding, treatment and prevention.”

By offering gender reassignment surgery, Dr. McHugh explains, many in the medical community are enabling these so-called transgenders in their delusion.  When it comes to children, he identifies it as abuse and an abdication of their responsibility to care for those who are sick.

I hate when I am right sometimes. It is never good that we have to see people suffer because the world refuses to see the truth. But such is the case with Target and their transgender rules. I said that it would not be long before the violators would come out from under their rocks.

An Idaho man who identifies as a woman was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly recorded video footage of a teenager trying on a swimsuit in a Target fitting room.

Sean Patrick Smith, 46, who goes by Shauna Patricia Smith, was taken into custody and charged with one felony count of voyeurism following the incident.

According to reports, the 18-year-old was trying on a swimsuit in the Ammon store’s unisex fitting room on Monday when she noticed someone holding a phone over the separator.

Those who support the open bathroom policy, such as Obama, PayPal, the NBA, and Target have all stated that this would not happen. They have held that the Gender Dysphoria inflicted were themselves victims and would never do such things.

Now we see where this foolishness has led our children and us. It is no longer safe to frequent such stores as Target. They have chosen political correctness over safety. And here are the results.

“The woman was begging for help as she chased the man out the door,” a witness told East Idaho News. “She kept saying she wanted those pictures deleted.”

The girl’s mother confronted Smith, who was wearing a dress and wig, but he fled the scene. 

The following day, police tracked Smith to his home, where he was questioned. Documents composed by investigators outline that “the defendant eventually admitted … that she had made videos in the past of women undressing.”

“The defendant told [the detective] that she makes these videos for the ‘same reason men go online to look at pornography,’” police noted, adding that Smith said that he finds the footage to be “sexually gratifying.”Picture3

He is a sex offender, and God only knows how many have done this and not been caught.

Way back in 1999 to 2002, I had the distinct honor and privilege to serve a joint exchange assignment with the II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune North Carolina. It was there I earned my Navy/Marine Corps Gold Parachutist Insignia, which I wear proudly. I made lasting lifelong friends but more importantly, I was treated as one of their own. It was there I learned about Marine Air Ground Task Force operations, truly a joint education. My first Marine Corps birthday ball is something I’ll never forget, especially my wife Angela ogling over the Marine Corps officer dress mess uniform.

My older brother was a Marine infantryman at Khe Sanh, and wounded there. My mom, Snooks West, was a civilian employee with the 6th Marine Corps District Headquarters in Atlanta. So there has always been a part of me that was a part of the United States Marine Corps. And that’s why it pains me to see our beloved Marine Corps being decimated under the vision of one Barack Obama. At a time when our enemies are gathering strength, being emboldened, and expanding their stranglehold, we are reducing the capability and capacity of the Few, the Proud. Instead, this is what the Obama administration finds a necessary endeavor.

As reported by the Marine Corps Times, “Thousands of Marines serving throughout the infantry and in other key positions are about to get new gender-neutral job titles, but the service’s top leaders are pushing to leave the word “man” in some of its most iconic occupations.

In all, the Marine Corps plans to rename 19 of its military occupational specialties, or MOSs, as the result of a months-long review mandated by Navy Secretary Ray Mabus. A service-wide message announcing the changes are expected to be published within the next few days. mental illness

The terms “rifleman” and “mortarman,” are among those that remain untouched, according to a list — obtained by Marine Corps Times on Monday — of 33 MOSs that were reviewed. And that was by careful design, said a Marine official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “Names that were not changed, like rifleman, are steeped in Marine Corps history and ethos,” the official said. “Things that were changed needed to be updated to align with other MOS names.” In most cases, the word “man” will be replaced by Marine.

You must realize we have the smallest Marine Corps since World War I and the focus of SecNav Mabus and Obama is name-changing. No wonder the enemy is emboldened and carrying out terrorist attacks darn near weekly now.

We reported here recently the status of aircraft mishaps and incidents — quite a few have affected Marine Corps aviation units, rotary and fixed wing. Marine F/A-18 fighter squadrons are deploying at less than 50 percent combat capability. Yet, what is most important? Changing names in the venerable Corps.

Earlier this week we reported that SecDef Ash Carter is ready to formally announce his plan to remove the ban on gender dysphoria — you know, transgenders in the U.S. military. What message does all this send to our enemies, especially an ideological one such as the Islamic State?

It’s beyond belief that weeks after the Orlando terror attack, this is the priority for our military? Ladies and gents, we MUST rid ourselves of these progressive socialists before we have a completely demoralized military. This insidious venture into fundamentally transforming our military via social egalitarianism and ideological agenda will put this nation in a very vulnerable position.engineering

Imagine, another four, or potentially eight years of this under a Hillary Clinton, who will abandon our warriors and lie to the families. We will not have the ability to defend our way of life. And what do we tell the moms, dads, husbands, wives, and children — the loved ones of our uniformed men and women standing upon freedom’s rampart? Why should they believe these people will have the back of their loved ones? How do we look at the parents of the young man or woman who wants to serve, and not have that sinking feeling that no matter how noble, they’ll serve under people with no sense of honor and integrity?

I know folks talk about this election coming down to the Supreme Court. For me, this election comes down to having a trustworthy commander in chief who will restore the pride of our military — not pride based on who you’re sleeping with, but a true American pride that comes from serving our nation.

These are such critical times, yet we have silly people in positions of leadership. Think about what you want a future U.S. Marine Corps to look like. Yes, there’s a high degree of pride to claim the title of Marine, and they don’t need Ray Mabus or Barack Obama — neither worthy to polish the dirty boots of a Marine — to decide how to refer to the Few, the Proud…our United States Marine Corps.Death of a nation

Many Americans are unaware of the serious problems that face transgender persons. More than 50 percent had active suicidal thoughts and 45 percent had had a major depressive episode.

For instance, a 2016 study comparing 20 Lebanese transgender participants to 20 control subjects reported that transgender individuals suffer from more psychiatric pathologies compared to the general population. More than 50 percent had active suicidal thoughts and 45 percent had had a major depressive episode.

While it may not be politically correct to link psychological disorders with the transgender population, the researchers see the evidence that a link exists. As a former transgender person, I wish the guy who approved me for gender surgery would have told me about the risks.

Quick to Diagnose

The experience of many gender-confused individuals is that medical professionals are quick to reach a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and recommend immediate cross-gender hormone therapy and irreversible reassignment surgery without investigating and treating the coexisting issues. Research has found that powerful psychological issues, such as anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, or alcohol or drug dependence often accompany gender dysphoria.

study published in JAMA Pediatrics in March 2016 shows a high prevalence of psychiatric diagnoses in a sample of 298 young transgender women aged 16 through 29 years old.

More than 40 percent had coexisting mental health or substance dependence diagnoses. One in five had two or more psychiatric diagnoses. The most commonly occurring disorders were major depressive episodes and non-alcohol psychoactive substance use dependence.

Yet, transgender individuals are never required to undergo any objective test to prove their gender dysphoria—because no diagnostic objective test exists.

The cause of this condition can’t be verified through lab results, a brain scan, or review of the DNA make-up.

Research studies from 2013 and 2009 looking for a “transgender gene” showed not a smidgeon of abnormality in the genetic make-up that causes someone to be transgender.

No alterations in the main sex-determining genes in male-to-female transsexual individuals were found, suggesting strongly that male-born transgender persons are normal males biologically.get over it

Psychological Care Urgently Needed

The study concluded that improved access to medical and psychological care “are urgently needed to address mental health and substance dependence disorders in this population.” On the contrary, it did not conclude that improved access to bathrooms, hormones, or surgery are urgently needed.

A 2015 study of 118 individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria found that 29.6 percent were also found to have dissociative disorders and a high prevalence of lifetime major depressive episodes (45.8 percent), suicide attempts (21.2 percent), and childhood trauma (45.8 percent).

It also remarked that differentiating between a diagnosis of dissociative disorder and gender dysphoria is difficult because the two can closely resemble each other.

Another study found a “surprisingly high prevalence of emotional maltreatment” in the 41 transsexuals studied. It called for further investigation to clarify the effects of traumatic childhood experiences and the correlation between transsexualism and dissociative identity.

That finding tracks with what I experienced in my transgender life. In my life and in the lives of those whose families contact me, traumatic childhood experiences are present 100 percent of the time.

Childhood Gender Dysphoria

One area where medical professionals should tread lightly is in the diagnosis and treatment of children who have gender identity issues.

A 2015 study aimed to gather input from pediatric endocrinologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and ethicists—both those in favor and those opposed to early treatment—to further the ethical debate. The results showed no consensus on many basic topics of childhood gender dysphoria and insufficient research to support any recommendations for childhood treatments, including the currently published guidelines that recommend suppressing puberty with drugs until age 16, after which cross-sex hormones may be given.

An analysis of the 38 youth referrals for gender dysphoria to the Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic at the University School of Medicine in Indianapolis showed that more than half had psychiatric and/or developmental comorbidities.

Without sufficient research and consensus on treatment of children diagnosed with gender dysphoria, and knowing over half have coexisting disorders, any invasive treatment, even if recommended by the current guidelines, is simply an experiment. It’s time to stop using children as experiments.

Transgender Persons Are Struggling Psychologically

Transgender individuals need psychotherapy not access to cross-sex restrooms, showers, and dressing areas. Blaming society for the ills of transgender persons will not improve their diagnosis and treatment.

Reckless disregard for the mental disorders in favor of enforcing preferred pronouns is madness. It’s time to show compassion by telling the truth and stop pretending they are born that way. True compassion is acknowledging the mental disorders and providing effective, sound treatment in an effort to slow the staggering number of suicides, before rushing to perform irreversible surgeries.AMENPrayer for revival

Transgender veterans may soon be eligible for sex-reassignment surgeries if a proposed rule change at the Department of Veterans Affairs is approved. The Executive Office of the President recently announced the possible rule change on its website.

“Surgical procedures are now widely accepted in the medical community as medically necessary treatment for gender dysphoria,” the announcement stated. “Additionally, recent medical research shows that gender dysphoria is a serious condition that has had severe medical consequences for certain patients if transition-related surgeries and procedures are not provided.

“In light of these medical advances and recent research, VA would revise its regulation to remove the prohibition on medical services that are considered gender alterations,” the website said. “In this way, medical decisions would be made on a case-by-case basis about what procedures are medically necessary to treat gender dysphoria.”

VA officials declined to say precisely when the rule was first proposed, but said it has been mulled since at least 2014, Time magazine reported Thursday.

“At that time some of these surgical procedures were not as well-developed as they are now,” Jillian Shipherd, a co-director of the VA’s LGBT health care program, told the magazine. “The science about what the international standards of care are was very different from where we are today.”More forced

Gene Silvestri, VA coordinator with the American Military Partner Association, which advocates for LGBT veterans, cheered the move.

“This sets a tone. The VA is part of the government,” Mr. Silvestri told The Wall Street Journal Friday. “We’ll see a change in treatment and culture and acceptance.”

The moderator of Doctrine Man, a popular news aggregator for the military community, said the decision could be seen as the agency not properly prioritizing its most urgent problems.

“I do take issue with this change, but more so because I think the VA has bigger issues on its plate than this, and the decision to perform such surgeries isn’t as simple as it seems on the surface,” the website reported. “There’s also the issue of service connection, but I don’t think that plays a role here since the VA treats pretty much any condition for qualified veterans. And I don’t think there’s a long line of ‘suffering veterans’ standing outside the VA today waiting for this surgery, but there are a lot of others waiting for other procedures. So, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where this goes.”engineering2

Former Chief Psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins Has Bad News for Caitlyn Jenner

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, former psychiatrist in chief for Johns PC TransHopkins Hospital, has an opinion about former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner’s recent announcement that is sure to upset the many crusading for the transgender movement. McHugh not only believes that changing sexes is biologically impossible, he also believes those identifying themselves as transgender actually have a mental disorder.

McHugh, author of six books and over 125 peer-reviewed medical journal articles, wrote in a Wall Street Journal piece that surgery is not a solution for those wishing to live as the opposite sex.

McHugh wrote that these people believing they can choose their sex suffer from a “disorder of assumption.”

In the piece, he also quoted a study claiming that transgendered people undergoing reassignment surgery are 20 times more likely to commit suicide than non-transgendered people. (H/T BizPac Review)

McHugh claims that pro-transgender advocates do not want to accept the fact that studies indicate between 70 and 80 percent of children who express transgender feelings lose such feelings over time.

A Kardashian family biographer claims Caitlyn Jenner is experiencing regret over transitioning from male to female. Citing multiple sources close to the star, Ian Halperin told The Wrap that Jenner is considering transitioning back to male “in the next couple years.” However, the 66-year-old’s rep denied the author’s claims in an email to FOX411. PC Trans

Halperin said while doing research for his book “Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family,” several sources indicated Jenner is unhappy.

“One source confirmed to me Caitlyn has made whispers of ‘sex change regret,’ hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner,” Halperin told the entertainment website.

The biographer said Jenner is allegedly interested in transitioning back for relationship reasons.

“She’s still into women and wants to meet the right one,” Halperin stated.

Jenner’s rep told FOX411 regarding Halperin’s claims, “it is not true.” The rep added Halperin “is a moron.”

The idea that Jenner has had apprehensions over the life change is nothing new. Back when Jenner graced the cover of Vanity Fair, the former Olympian described a panic attack following the transition.

The Vanity Fair profile detailed: “During the first full day of recuperation… She was undergoing something that had never happened before in 65 years of life: a panic attack… The panic attack lasted about 15 seconds, but a single thought continued to course through her mind: ‘What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?’”

Halperin the transition has been “very hard” for the star.

“She’s thrilled she has raised awareness about how transgender people have long been discriminated against but I think there’s a chance she’ll de-transition in the next couple years,” the writer said. “I don’t think it would surprise anybody in her inner circle. It has been much harder than she anticipated. My heart goes out to her and I know her true friends will be there to support her on whatever path she chooses.”

Transgender Claims Security Escorted Him Out Of NC Public Restroom, Video Reveals Different Story

Transgen-600-CI-1Some predicted it would only be a matter of time before someone challenged North Carolina’s HB2 law concerning transgender bathrooms. That day is now here. Alexis Adams, a male who has transitioned to female, was allegedly escorted out of the women’s restroom by security at the Durham Transit Center after claiming a janitor confronted him and told him to use the men’s restroom.

Last week, Adams told WTVD News how the incident affected him, saying, “I couldn’t think. I couldn’t speak. I was speechless … It was embarrassing. I was outed in front of everybody.” Adams claimed he felt helpless, “I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t fight it. I couldn’t tell them you’re wrong because it is the law,” he said.

However, newly released footage is telling a different story. In fact, local police investigating the claims told the press they were unable to corroborate Adams’ story.

Footage shows Adams entering the women’s restroom. The video then shows a janitor entering the restroom, as well. Adams exits the restroom, leaves the building, and walks down the street with a man who was apparently waiting for him. There was no confrontation with security. There was no perceived embarrassment of Adams by any bystanders, and no display of emotion was noted on security footage. Adams simply entered the restroom, then exited the building.

But we don’t see that in the video,” Pulliam said. Adams hesitated, but stuck to the story telling Pulliam, “I can’t … I guess you just had to be there to witness it. Only days after the Target Corp. issued a release confirming its stance on the issue of transgender restrooms, a patron noticed something in the women’s restroom that she felt compelled to photograph. A statement released by Target on April 19 called “inclusivity” a core value belief of Target that should be celebrated. In a Facebook post, Karen Crawford said, “It’s true. ..I’m in the women’s bathroom at a Target north of LA…they actually took out a stall for women in order to accommodate the ones who have giblets…yes, these are urinals…for men…and so the war on women progresses. …”

Never could I imagine in my lifetime that the issue of men dressing like women would be a source of contention regarding the use of female bathroom facilities. Who would ever conceive of something like that? It’s basic practice going back thousands of years – men use public facilities designated for men and the same for women. There should be no discussion, much less any “political” action taken, to accommodate less than one percent of the population. But, here I am watching States pass legislation allowing transgender individuals to use public restroom facilities matching their mentally ill perceived gender to the detriment of public safety. What is even more amazing about this entire scenario of insanity is the comparing of the issue to the Civil Rights movement lead by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

White House Press Secretary, Josh “less than” Earnest, had the nerve to invoke “civil rights battles of past generations in States that passed or are considering a similar law.” As it stands, federal agencies are poised to cut funding to States that pass what is now known as “bathroom bills.”

“Less Than” Earnest Josh said, “State’s like Tennessee and to a certain extent North Carolina and Mississippi have a long history — even over the last couple of generations — of working through questions of civil rights. President Obama has talked on a number of occasions about the important progress that our country has made with regard to civil rights. Where exactly to start on this pile of garbage is anyone’s guess. But, someone, with a working brain, needs to explain to the 99% of the population how keeping men out of women’s public facilities and vice versa even remotely compares to being barred access to schools, having separate drinking fountains, having separate entrances to movie theaters, or being denied service in a restaurant or harassed when trying to vote. If this nation has made any progress on civil rights, it has certainly all reverted back to the starting point because of this administration. This issue does not even come close to equaling the civil rights movement.

The civil rights movement did not endanger portions of the population through the rightful protest of discrimination based on skin color and the demand it be stopped. And, separate facilities for men and women have always been the norm. But, these mentally ill individuals will place women, girls, boys and men at risk of crime by nefarious individuals. No, this does not mean crime at the hands of transgender individuals. It means crime at the hands of rapists, murderers, thieves, and child molesters who proclaim to be transgender to gain access to victims. Why all of a sudden are these mentally ill, deranged individuals declaring they are “singled out” and targeted because of their DNA, when separate facilities in public have always been the standard? It’s not about discrimination. It’s about “public safety.”AMEN

Lying Earnest claims Hussein Soetoro is on the side of “equality, fairness and justice for every American.” However, whose side is he on when the safety of the public is at hand? He stands on the side of one percent of the population in overturning millennias of morality and standards.Transgender

Because of state laws that allow private business to set their own policy regarding public restroom use (which is as it should be) and “restrict local governments” from passing “bathroom bills” perceived as discriminatory, States could find themselves being denied federal money for schools, highways and public housing. No State should be getting any money from the federal government for any purpose. States should be footing the bill for their schools, highways and housing. The system in place now makes States beholden and subservient to the federal government when the federal government should be subservient to the States and the people.AMEN

Of course, the first individual to suggest withholding money from the States is none other than Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Fox. If you recall, Fox is infamous for his statement claiming sidewalks in neighborhoods provides opportunities to attain the American Dream. Joining the former Charlotte, NC mayor in support of withholding funds to the States are the Department of Education and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. North Carolina should hold fast on their legislation regardless of what unconstitutional federal departments want.

For one thing, no one is “marginalizing” a segment of the population by having men use facilities for men and women use facilities for women. It’s been this way since the beginning. Who is being marginalized is the 99% of the population who doesn’t have a mental illness. It is more than mean-spirited to open the door to nefarious activities by men against women and girls. It is downright evil to the core. The push to have government sanction those in disagreement or who abhor the “lifestyle” is morally wrong and violates civil rights. And, the civil rights movement was not about elevating one people’s rights over another; but, securing the same rights for all individuals given in the laws of nature and of nature’s God.

The reason the transgender and sodomite community is met with perceived bigotry, hatred and discrimination is that the groups are forcing upon society that which is abnormal. These groups are seeking to supplant a millennia’s moral practice of privacy and public safety with potential for criminal activity. Who is going to reap the whirlwind when a woman is raped or a child molested because of the insanity of allowing males in female facilities? The crux of the issue stands as follows – if you hadn’t brought it out in public, there would not be an issue. DNA and chromosomes cannot be changed. Deal with it and get over it by seeking medical treatment for the mental disorder. The forcing of the issue on the public will only result in tragedy. The transgender craze has just gotten even crazier. A man-turned-woman now insists that he is really a dragon, and has taken drastic surgical and artistic steps to make that dream a reality. This is a terrifying sign of where a rejection of the Christian view of humanity can take us.

A 55-year-old dragon lady, born “Richard Hernandez,” now identifies as Eva Tiamat Baphomet Medusa,” a name taken from a video game character, and wishes to be referred to as an “it.” It says it believes it was born in the wrong sex, along with the wrong species, and it is willing to physically destroy its humanity to complete the transformation. It has already undergone tooth extraction, eye coloring, horn implants, ear removal, nose modification, and an undoubtedly painful procedure to have a forked tongue.

This is what happens when a culture rejects the Christian (and generally rational, even scientific) understanding of sexuality and biology in favor of the mantra “if it feels good, do it.” Granted, the transformation from man into dragon is extreme, but can we really deny it, if we assume that some people are “transgender” and need to become the opposite sex in order to be happy?

“M2F” is transgender code for “male to female.” Tiamat is the name of a primordial Mesopotamian goddess, and she symbolizes the chaos of primordial creation. In the Babylonian epic Enuma Elish, she gives birth to the very first gods and the first monsters, transforms into a massive sea dragon, and is slain by the hero god Marduk. With her body, Marduk forms the heavens and the earth. It is unclear how familiar this human-turned-dragon is with the mythology surrounding her name, but her reference to “OBLIVION” suggests serious emotional angst.

In an interview with Britain’s Daily Mail, she said she is dealing with some “serious gender dysphoria,” even after undergoing gender reassignment surgery, and “loves” her 36B chest.

The Bible states in numerous places that God created us male and female, and DNA science confirms that the vast majority of people either have two “X” chromosomes or one “X” and one “Y.” Transgender activists claim that there are medical conditions driving men and women to identify as the opposite sex, and that the best solution for this is not counseling, but undergoing gender reassignment surgery.

Scripture acknowledges that there is evil in the world after the Fall, and this accounts for the struggles of people who have a hard time accepting their biological sex. It also offers hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise that we will be given new bodies in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1-5). Christians should not shun those who struggle with gender dysphoria, but rather help them to accept their biological sex and find forgiveness for their sins and reconciliation with their bodies in the love of Christ.

Christians should condemn the gross violence which gender reassignment surgery does against the human body that God created. Especially in the case of Tiamat, its voluntary surrender to such grotesquery should be universally condemned, even as the church should welcome this tortured soul, and offer redemption in Jesus Christ.engineering2

The great Christian authors C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien wrote about people who give up their humanity, and whether there is hope for them.

In Lewis’s classic The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, a selfish, greedy boy named Eustace transforms into a dragon, and really wishes he hadn’t. Eustace struggles to return to humanity, but his wickedness shows on the surface and he is stuck, until the Christ figure Aslan finally frees him. Aslan tears the scales away from Eustace’s flesh, unveiling the true man beneath, and restoring his life.

In Tolkien’s masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, a man named Smeagol falls into an obsessive love with the Ring of Power, and transforms into a less-than-human creature called Gollum. When the heroes of the tale take pity upon this creature, and trust him, he regains some of his humanity. Eventually, however, he slides back into his obsession, which ultimately destroys him.

Christians should fervently hope and pray that Tiamat is Eustace and not Smeagol. Let the story of this horribly troubled “mythical beast” be a warning about the kind of ideology which denies the reality of gender in favor of the desires of troubled minds. It is not too late to stop our children from becoming Tiamat, even if they do occasionally dream of flying like dragons.

Yesterday Daugaard caved to those lobbyists and vetoed a bill (H.B. 1008) that passed with overwhelming support from both chambers of the state legislature. The bill would have prevented biological males who identify as girls from using girls’ restrooms or locker rooms in public schools, but it also would have required local school officials to make reasonable accommodations for such students.

Instead of a winner-take-all approach favored by the left, the bill created a win-win outcome for everyone. It protected the privacy and safety of all students, and it created new accommodations for transgender students.

Ask yourself: Why do we have girls’ locker rooms and boys’ locker rooms in the first place? We have sex-specific restrooms and locker rooms not because of “gender identity”—however one defines it—but because of biology.

Men and women have bodily differences, and that’s why we have men’s rooms and ladies’ rooms. It’s not about gender identity, but biology—and protecting privacy related to our bodies.

So the South Dakota bill continued the bathroom policy we’ve always had in America while also creating obligations for local schools to find reasonable accommodations for transgender students—biological males who identity as females and biological females who identify as males.Gaystopo logo

But LGBT activists attacked the state. And big businesses threatened boycotts. South Dakota was being accused oftransphobia” for reaching this commonsense compromise. As the bill reached the governor’s desk for his consideration, the head of the Human Rights Campaign warned that “history will not treat kindly those who support this discriminatory measure.”Transgender

The official policy of LGBT activists is that boys who identify as girls should have unfettered access to girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, and shower facilities. They believe that anything less than full access to the bathroom and locker room of their choice is transphobic, a denial of civil rights and equality.

This is an extreme position, out of step with the majority of Americans, and utterly inconsiderate of the concerns of the non-transgendered community. And Daugaard gave in to it.

The bill respected local control while ruling out one, and only one, bad option: boys in girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms.

Daugaard claimed that the bill “removes the ability of local school districts to determine the most appropriate accommodations for their individual students and replaces that flexibility with a state mandate.” Again, though, this is false.

The bill specifically required local schools to find reasonable accommodations for transgender students. The bill mentioned three examples of reasonable accommodations explicitly—single-occupancy restrooms, unisex facilities, and faculty locker rooms—and it left lots of room for teachers and principals to work out tailored solutions that would be sensitive to everyone’s interests.

In closing his veto statement, the governor claimed that the bill would expose local school districts to lawsuits from transgender students “in an area where no such liability exists today.” Again, the governor is wrong. If a school creates any reasonable accommodation short of full and unfettered access to the bathroom of one’s choice, those lawsuits will come. And now local schools won’t even be able to point to the state law in their defense.

The nation is primed for yet another clash in the culture war—this time over school bathroom policy. The South Dakota legislature gave the entire United States an example of principled leadership on how to defuse controversy and craft public policy that creates good outcomes for everyone.

Minnesota Kindergarten Students Forced to Confront Gender Identity

It all started with a book: “My Princess Boy.”

On Oct. 14, 2015, the elementary school principal of a Minnesota charter school informed parents that in the coming days, the school would be taking steps to “support a student who is gender nonconforming.”

Their 5- and 6-year-old children, parents were told in an email, “will listen to various books that celebrate differences and will be teaching children about the beauty of being themselves.”Leftist Propagandist

One of those books, the principal noted, would be “My Princess Boy,” a story that centers on a boy who sometimes likes to do traditional girl things like wear dresses.engineering

In the email, the principal encouraged parents of kindergarten children to “have conversations at home about the appropriateness of comments or teasing relating to all protected classes,” specifically pertaining to gender identity.

Details regarding the gender non-conforming student at the school, Nova Classical Academy in St. Paul, Minn., were kept confidential. But shortly after that initial email went out, parents at Nova Classical Academy learned that the child was also in kindergarten.

Immediately, some parents raised concern about the issue of gender identity being introduced to their 5- and 6-year old children. The concept, they believed, is too complicated for kindergartners to grasp.AMEN

And although the school hadn’t yet announced any new restroom policies, parents were concerned about their children using bathrooms with students of the opposite sex. In their attempt to push back, parents grew frustrated with the school’s response. At least 10 students, The Daily Signal learned, transferred to another school.

One mother, who asked to remain anonymous to protect her daughter’s identity, said she transferred her child because the classmate was having a “traumatic” effect on her daughter.

“Our daughter—because she is a normal kindergartner who was raised in a family where we had some social norms regarding biological gender and sex—now she’s asking questions like, ‘How does a boy become a girl when they’re born with a penis?’ She has two brothers, so she’s wondering, how is this possible, as the boy is wearing a jumper and has ribbons and ponytails in his hair,” her mother said.

Another mother, whose daughter is still in the same class as the gender nonconforming child, described a similar effect. That mother also requested to remain anonymous.

“She said, ‘Mom, I think you can choose if you want to be a boy or a girl,’” the second mother said.

‘That Bothers Me’

Similar to how the debate over transgender rights has caused a culture war in states such as Washington and South Dakota, the situation at Nova Classical Academy also caused a rift in the tight-knit community.

The school is a competitive public charter school that consistently ranks high in school ratings. When it was granted its charter, Nova Classical Academy requested a waiver so that a majority of its school board members would be parents instead of educators. One goal of doing so, parents told The Daily Signal, was to foster parental involvement and oversight of curriculum.

“We as a school community go through processes that are very lengthy, but in the end it always ends up being a conversation and a win-win situation,” one mother said. “And this situation, this is not what happened.”

For example, this mother explained, deciding when to begin the gender and sex curriculum required “a  long, painful process.”

Eventually, parents and educators agreed the program would begin in fifth grade, and address the topic of being transgender in 10th grade. But now, they thought, that decision was being flipped on its head, and the school was bypassing parental input to introduce these topics starting at a younger age.engineering2

Parents were divided—many fully supported the reading of “My Princess Boy” and the curriculum that would go along with it. Some of those supporters launched a petition drive in which they and others—some from outside communities—could speak out.

“I am in favor of using materials such as this as part of the curriculum,” wrote Stephanie Schweser. “Teaching and promoting tolerance, understanding, and inclusion will better our school community and our community beyond.”

Those who objected were particularly concerned because Nova Classical Academy is a K-12 school. Although the school had not yet addressed bathroom policies, their 5- and 6-year-old children, some parents feared, might now be forced to share a bathroom with a senior of the opposite sex.

“We are in a K-12 school, and that bothers me—there are some bathrooms that are shared. So I could have my daughter in the bathroom and a senior,” the mother whose kindergartner still attends the school told The Daily Signal, adding:

“If we start to desensitize our children at a young age that it’s fine—and right now, I’m not worried that something bad is going to happen to her in her elementary school, but that she would get used to this. And eventually she could get put in a situation where she could be in harm’s way, because she’s innocently in the bathroom with someone who intends to cause harm.”

Life Before and After Beyoncé’

Two months ago, Dave and Hannah Edwards, the parents of the gender nonconforming student at Nova Classical Academy, went public with their story in an interview with radio host Jack Rice. During that interview, Hannah Edwards attempted to explain her son’s identity.

“[W]hen we ask him what he prefers, he says, ‘I’m a boy and in my heart I’m a girl.’ And sometimes he’ll say he’s half and half, which is something you put in your coffee, but I say OK, that’s great.”Picture7

Hannah Edwards said the change began around the age 2 after her son, Holden, watched Beyoncé perform at the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show:

“I kind of think of it as life before and after Beyoncé. Pretty soon it turned into an everyday occurrence, wanting to watch this 10-minute halftime show. And he started tying his blankets on his head, and dancing like her, and watching his reflection in the fireplace glass. That was, I think, the first time I noticed. It started becoming less of ‘he thinks this is interesting’ and more of ‘I am being Beyoncé; I am being a girl.’What did you say 04.jpg

The Daily Signal attempted to speak with Gender Justice, a group that is working with the Edwards family. They did not respond to a request for comment.

In the radio interview, the Edwardses suggested Holden had been subject to bullying in the classroom, and thus, the gender curriculum was necessary. But the real problem, they said, stems from parents who objectied to the school’s handling of their child.

“I would say his teacher has been pretty integral in stopping the bullying, at least in the classroom. I know that he comes to school now in the jumper, and that’s within the last month,” Holden’s father, Dave Edwards, said during the interview. He added:

“I feel comfortable with what’s happening in his small, little classroom world. It’s these other parents coming in and objecting or starting petitions. And I think that really comes from a place of fear and ignorance on their part.”DELUSIONAL

‘Understanding Gender Diversity’

Eric Williams, the school’s executive director, confirmed to The Daily Signal that in December, Nova Classical Academy invited the president of the National Association of School Psychologists, Todd Savage, “to educate the staff and community about gender nonconforming and transgender students.”engineering2

During the session, Savage highlighted a number of “school issues” that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students face.

The father who eventually removed his daughter from kindergarten at Nova Classical Academy over the situation said he had “no problem” with the presentation but thought it fell short in addressing his personal concerns.

“He had some specifics about how transgender kids have been oppressed in the past, and I think they’re legitimate,” the father said of Savage. “But he didn’t present anything in ways of addressing the argument of how the issue could be damaging for the education, especially of pre-adolescent kids. He didn’t address that issue at all.”

In an attempt to learn more, parents who objected to the book “My Princess Boy” organized their own informational session with a conservative  group, the Minnesota Family Council. Unlike the session with Savage, the school refused to associate itself with the event.

Multiple sources told The Daily Signal that advocates of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons—affiliated with Out Front, Gender Justice, and Transforming Family—attended the session. Five minutes before the event ended, parents said, the LGBT advocates lined the hallways leading to the exit holding signs that read, “We love our transgender kids.”Leftist Propagandist

“A piece of that was hard, because I just wanted to say I love transgender kids, too,” the father, who attended the meeting with an older daughter who continues to attend Nova Classical Academy, said. He added:

“This was so obviously orchestrated; their only purpose was to try to be intimidating. And my eighth-grade daughter was intimidated. It caused her stress and anxiety. And if you look at the definition of bullying, the irony of this whole thing is, that qualifies as bullying.”

 ‘No One’s Having That Conversation’

Four months after the lower school principal sent out the initial email, the situation is ongoing. In an attempt to quell concerns, Nova Classical Academy adopted an “emergency” policy for transgender and gender nonconforming students.

A parent at the school said that policy states:

1) Boys and girls may wear whichever uniform they want.
2) Students requesting access to a bathroom conforming to his or her gender identity will be granted or denied permission on a case-by-case basis.
3) Preferred gender pronouns also will be required on a case-by-case basis.Delusional Mental Illness Gibberish

Some parents were unhappy with the temporary solution and called on the school to answer one simple question: Will their elementary school children run into a student of the opposite sex in bathrooms and locker rooms?

So far, the school administrators have evaded that question by telling parents in a Q&A handout that “no student or family has made that request.”

Other parents are asking the school more daunting question: What kind of impact does introducing the concept of transgender and gender identity have on their 5- and 6-year-old children?

“I don’t think anyone has taken the time to think about what are the developmental stages of each age bracket and how might that superimpose something that is not natural into their development?” the mother who removed her daughter from the school said. “That piece to me, as a mom, is really, really valuable. No one’s having that conversation.”

The mother added:

“If physiologists and medical doctors don’t quite understand gender fluidity, then why do we try to impose this on people who are just trying to figure out how to tie their shoe? It’s not fair. It’s not just.”AMEN

The Daily Signal learned that as of the last school board meeting, some students have left the school since the dispute over “My Princess Boy” began. And for the first time in Nova Classical Academy’s 12-year history, applications were down significantly .

In an email to The Daily Signal, Dr. Eric Williams, executive director of Nova Classical Academy, sought to explain the decline.

While it is correct that a handful of prospective parents have indicated that the reason they did not re-apply to Nova for the 2016-17 school year or declined offers of enrollment was due to the gender nonconformity issue at the school, there are multiple reasons that have contributed more substantially to the lower number of applications received at this time.

For the first time in a almost 10 years, Nova did not host an annual School Showcase/Open House at our school this year– an event that typically draws 200+ prospective parents and their children. Also, this year we chose not to host weekly tours throughout the fall and early winter for families of children entering kindergarten through grade eight. These decisions were made almost exclusively on the basis of allocation of staff resources and the long waiting lists the school has year after year.

Although the school eventually replaced “My Princess Boy” with poems portraying a similar message, the three families who spoke with The Daily Signal said they fear there’s no turning back.

“It seems like they’re very influenced by the way the culture is moving,” said the mother whose daughter remains enrolled.

She and her husband said they intend to “stick it out,” but they’re “trying to decide at what point is just too much.”

“The daily influence of this little boy, who very much looks like a girl, all the accessories … they’re really doing it up with him,” she said. “But for now we’re feeling convicted to stay and be a part of the work of making sure that we did everything we could do save this school.”

Since publication, this article has been updated to reflect the number of students who transferred out of Nova Classical Academy because of “nonconformity issues.”

Why These High School Girls Don’t Want a Transgender Student in Their Locker Room

Speaking out, they knew, could make them the public face of a very private issue. It could lead their classmates to call them “bigots,” “insensitive,” and “homophobes.” But after seeing their high school back down to threats that the U.S. Department of Education would strip away federal funding, and watching school officials overrule their parents, a group of six high school girls in Cook County, Ill., decided to speak out.

On Dec. 7, before a crowded school board meeting packed with news media, they would tell the world why they don’t want a high school student who was born male, but identifies as a female, to use the girls’ locker room. They would tell the world why allowing a transgender student to see them in a state of undress would be an invasion of their personal privacy.They would explain why, at 15 and 16 years old, changing alongside biological women is already hard enough.

“It is unfair to infringe upon the rights of others to accommodate one person,” the six girls, in a joint statement, told an audience of at least 500.

“Although we will never fully understand your personal struggle,” they said, addressing the transgender student, “please understand that we, too, all are experiencing personal struggles that need to be respected.”

Palatine, a well-off suburb of Chicago, is the first district in the country to be found in violation of civil rights laws on transgender issues. By forcing the transgender student—known in the media as “Student A”—to use a separate locker room, the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights ruled that Township High School District 211 had discriminated against the student “on the basis of sex.” The finding came as the result of a lengthy investigation, triggered by a lawsuit filed by Student A’s parents.

To resolve the findings—and to avoid the Department of Education’s threats of losing federal funding—the school board changed its policies to allow Student A into the girls’ locker rooms, so long as the student changed behind newly installed “privacy curtains.” Those curtains, the six girls said, shield Student A from personal insecurities, but they leave the rest of them uncomfortably exposed.

‘Still Anatomically a Male’

According to the Department of Education’s investigation, Student A began transitioning to a female in middle school. The student was diagnosed with gender dysphoria and currently receives an “ongoing course” of hormone therapy.

But some girls at the high school say Student A has not fully transitioned, which makes some of them uncomfortable sharing a locker room.

“What bothers me is the fact that this student is still anatomically a male,” a 16-year-old sophomore told The Daily Signal on the condition of anonymity. “If the student had already undergone surgical procedures, this would be another story entirely, but as it stands I just don’t feel comfortable with it.”

A 15-year-old told The Daily Signal “it just doesn’t feel right.”

“I know Student A poses no harm to me, but it just doesn’t feel right knowing someone with male anatomy is in the bathroom with me,” she said, adding:

“I have nothing against Student A and would be her friend if I knew her better, but when it comes down to it, I don’t feel right changing in the same room as a transgender student. The locker room is already filled with so much judgment, and I barely feel OK changing in front of my naturally born girl peers.”

A third student, a 16-year-old sophomore, expressed frustration.

“[W]e are supposed to accept this and feel like nothing really is happening, but the fact of the matter is that this did get pretty big and now we have someone with male genitals in our girls’ locker room when we are changing,” she said.

The Daily Signal spoke with five girls who attend the same high school as Student A, four of whom oppose the student’s use of their locker room and one who supports it.

The Daily Signal also spoke with parents and the state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, which represents Student A in the lawsuit. What became clear is that neither side is pleased with the final agreement the district reached with the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, suggesting that public schools are not sure how best to deal with the difficult issues surrounding transgender students’ use of gender-specific facilities.

Privacy in the Locker Rooms

The Department of Education’s investigation into alleged discrimination found that “the district honored Student A’s request to be treated as a female in all respects except her request to be provided access to the girls’ locker rooms.” This included granting the transgender student “unlimited” access to the girls’ bathrooms and allowing the student to play on the girls’ sports teams.definetly

In lieu of granting access to the girls’ locker rooms, the school at one point installed a bank of lockers in a private bathroom and encouraged the student to invite friends who were comfortable changing there to move their lockers. This was meant to avert Student A from being forced to change alone. Student A wasn’t happy with the setup and sought equal access to the locker area because “she wanted to be a girl like every other girl,” the Department of Education’s report said.Bull

But on this front, the school administration wouldn’t budge.

The school originally held its ground based “not only on Student A’s rights and needs, but on the privacy concerns of all students,” the Department of Education noted in its report.

That all changed Nov. 2, when the school received the report saying if it did not change its policies to allow Student A into the girls’ locker rooms, Picture2151216_trans_quote3

Title IX is the federal law that bans discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program. Experts disagree whether the law applies to transgenders’ use of separate facilities, although courts in Pennsylvania and Virginia ruled it does not. Both those cases are being appealed.

To avoid charges of discrimination, District 211 reached an agreement with the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights. In it, the school promised to provide Student A access to the girls’ locker room throughout the duration of the student’s time there.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, District 211 receives more than $5 million in federal funding each year.

The federal agency and Illinois school district reached the deal “based on Student A’s representation that she will change in private changing stations in the girls’ locker room,” the report said. Since Student A’s use of the privacy curtains is non-binding, legal experts say it is not clear what would happen if the student decided to change out in the open.

But even if Student A does abide by the arrangement, those who oppose the student’s use of the girls’ locker rooms say they’re still uncomfortable with the settlement.

“When she’s walking in and out of the privacy curtain, what happens when you’re in a state of undress?” a sophomore on the lacrosse team asked rhetorically, adding:

“Then she is fully exposed to everything in the locker room. That was my main concern with the privacy curtain. It’s not like there’s a curtain around her face, it’s not like she’s not looking at everything around her.”

To accommodate girls who “wish to be assured of privacy while changing,” the district agreed to install additional private changing stations inside the locker rooms. Those critical of the compromise say the school is giving Student A “special treatment.”you think

“I will always be respectful to Student A and will treat her like I would anyone else I know,” the 15-year-old sophomore told The Daily Signal. “We all have to deal with inconveniences that we have to deal with, and I don’t feel as though someone should gain special treatment over me and all other naturally born girls.”AMEN

“I can’t say that I understand [Student A’s feelings], but there are so many other people that you have to consider despite yourself,” another student added.

When the school board voted 5-2 in favor of the agreement, members made clear that the deal applies only to Student A and is not a district-wide policy. To accommodate Student A during off-campus sporting events, the Department of Education will require District 211 to provide access to girls’ locker rooms “in a manner consistent” with the home high school.

If locker rooms don’t already have them, this could mean installing privacy curtains inside all those locker rooms.

‘It’s What’s on the Inside That Counts’

Lauren Gregory, a 17-year-old attending the same high school as Student A, sees the situation differently. Gregory, who had no qualms going public with her name, said she believes those against Student A’s use of the girls’ locker rooms are more concerned with the “principle of being transgender rather than the locker room thing.”

“I know a lot of people are talking about privacy, and there’s been a lot of talk about anatomy … [but] the things that we value most in life are not physical,” Gregory said, adding:

“Everyone tells your kids when you’re growing up, don’t worry how you look, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. I think I really carry that with me still, and I think that if someone feels a certain way and they feel like they’re in the wrong body, then I don’t have a problem with it. I think they have the right to become whoever they should be.”More Liberal Gibberish

Gregory agreed that girls already feel uncomfortable changing in the locker rooms—some even change in bathroom stalls to prevent other girls from seeing their bodies, she said. But Gregory believes that transgender students face similar insecurities and therefore are “not going to flaunt it or use it for bad things.”

“I know that these people who want to change their gender, they truly do not like the way that they are—the way that they were born—they don’t like the anatomy that they have, and they’re not going to flaunt it or use it for bad things,” she said. “They don’t even want it. They want to change it.”Delusional Mental Illness Gibberish

‘Lynching the Board’

The ACLU of Illinois represents Student A in the lawsuit against District 211.

In an interview with The Daily Signal, Ed Yohnka, director of communications and public policy for the organization, said the girls who spoke out deserve “a lot of credit” for attempting to be “sensitive and yet show their concerns the best way they could.”

However, Yohnka said, “The concern that is being raised on the part of these students is not the concern that actually arises in the use of the locker rooms.” He suggested that girls don’t fully disrobe for physical education and sporting events.

“This is not an instance in which she intends to be immodest or provocative in any way, shape, or form,” Yohnka said of Student A. “If one actually reads the findings from the [Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights], what they reveal is that, despite the reputed claims of the administration, students don’t fully disrobe in the locker rooms that she’s seeking access to.”More Liberal Gibberish

Multiple girls who spoke with The Daily Signal disputed that, saying they undress in the locker room for various sporting events, including lacrosse. They added that most sports teams share the same locker room.

“It’s a misguidance people have about high school girls not changing their entire clothes,” the lacrosse player said.

Students say showering hasn’t been an issue in this case because of the way the PE and sports programs work, although the school has a swim requirement that could affect future cases.

The ACLU’s Yohnka said the concern about Student A’s anatomy is simply “hysteria” created by the school administration.

“This administration has gone on television and talked about our client’s anatomy,” Yohnka, criticizing the school’s decision to go public with the negotiations, told The Daily Signal. “If they had done this to any other student in this district, the parents would be there lynching the board.”Hate Merchants

Reached by The Daily Signal, a spokesman for District 211 officials said they would let previous statements and actions speak for themselves.

In October, when Superintendent Daniel Cates went public with the complaint filed with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Right, he put out a statement defending the administration’s original position of limiting Student A’s access to the girls’ locker room. In a message published in a newsletter, Cates wrote: “District 211 has supported—and continues to support—transgender students and their families while always balancing the rights and concerns of all students we serve.” (The full message is below.)

Some parents in District 211 told The Daily Signal that the school should have made the complaint public earlier than October so that the community could have been more involved in the school’s formulation of policy.

“We just want to decide this as a community first, instead of just quickly responding to the government, who has no business telling us what to do at a local level, especially on this,” Vicki Wilson, a mother of a sophomore, told The Daily Signal.AMEN

Wilson has been active in the debate and is a member of the group D211 Parents for Privacy.

Yohnka suggested that the ACLU would have preferred that the school administration had reached a final agreement with the Department of Education before making the dispute public.

“I’m not denying for a moment that they shouldn’t have shared a resolution, but I think there’s a way to, first of all, reach a resolution first,” Yohnka said. “At the time that they had made their announcement, they were still negotiating with [the Department of Education.] … It created this frenzy around all this as opposed to simply announcing we’ve reached a settlement, this is what it is, this is what it entails and really being prepared to do the educational piece.”Picture2

He added:

“One of the things they might have thought to do was to use this moment as an opportunity to educate everyone involved in the community, in the school, et cetera, about these particular issues, but of course instead they decided to go out and engage in what really was a cynical public relations campaign in which you had a grown man on television talking about a young woman’s body.”Hate Merchants

The dispute is far from over, and if another transgender student comes along, the high school might have to address the situation again.

“The school district says at the end of the day that they’re still going to limit unfettered access to locker rooms based on anatomy, which fundamentally still misunderstands the notion of what it means to be transgender,” Yohnka said. “The anatomy in some ways scientifically is the least important indication of gender identity that there is, and yet they seem to be relying so heavily on it.”What did you say 06.jpg

To avoid facing the same problem, lawmakers in Illinois are considering addressing the issue at the state level.

“This is a push by the federal government to bully local units of government into adopting these kind of policies,” Illinois state Rep. Tom Morrison, a conservative Republican who has three children in the area, told The Daily Signal.

“This patchwork of policies is making it very confusing for parents and students and visitors to these schools,” Morrison said. “It would be helpful to have some guidance and guidelines that establish clear boundaries for bathroom and locker room policy.”

Emergency Meeting

In early December, the District 211 school board called an emergency meeting to reconsider its decision to change its original position and instead allow Student A full access to the girls’ locker rooms. The meeting drew a large crowd, with students and parents telling The Daily Signal that people came from all over the state. Sources attributed the high attendance to groups such as the ACLU that advocate on behalf of transgender rights. Before the meeting, those groups sent out press releases telling members their support was needed. One ACLU press release read:

There were many supportive voices at the board meeting last week. However, the opponents to fairness made up the majority of speakers. We’d like to see more supporters turn out on Monday and could use your help. If you are able to attend or otherwise want to help out, please email us.

Parents and students said they were frustrated to see the situation evolve from addressing the specific situation of Student A to a larger debate on transgender issues.

“It was kind of sad to see a bunch of people who didn’t care about the student; they just cared about getting their own agenda in place, and then they left,” the sophomore lacrosse player told The Daily Signal.

“It was very interesting to see,” she added. “It was very eye-opening about the world of politics.”

That day, the sophomore didn’t just learn a lesson in politics. She learned that speaking out about sensitive issues didn’t have to be so scary.

GOP candidates battle to stake their positions in first 2016 debate

From fiery criticism of ObamaCare and the Iran nuclear deal to support for Israel and the rights of the unborn, the top 10 Republican presidential candidates did all they could to define and separate themselves Thursday night during the Fox News debate in Cleveland, Ohio.

The governors on stage, notably John Kasich of Ohio and Scott Walker of Wisconsin, touted their economic records. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz vowed to scrap the Iran deal. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson reminded voters in his closing remarks of the professional background that separates him from the rest: “I’m the only one to separate Siamese twins.”

Throughout the debate, Donald Trump was the unrivaled lightning rod, but the prime-time showdown made clear he’s not the only fighter on the stage – or in the race.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie reclaimed his reputation as a tough-talking executive, blasting his rivals for their positions on domestic surveillance and entitlements. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul traded barbs with several candidates, including Christie.

Meanwhile, one-time front-runner former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush found himself on defense several times and largely avoided tangling with Trump on the Fox News/Facebook stage.

Perhaps the most fiery moment came in an exchange between Christie and Paul. Long-simmering tension between the two exploded when Christie stood by his criticism of the senator for opposing NSA bulk collection of Americans’ phone data.

Paul said he’s “proud of standing for the Bill of Rights,” but Christie called his stance “completely ridiculous” – suggesting he wants to cherry-pick only some data.

“When you’re sitting in the subcommittee just blowing hot air about this, you can say things like that,” Christie said.

Paul fired back: “I know you gave [President Obama] a big hug, and if you want to give him a big hug again, go ahead.” Christie said the hugs he gave were to the families of 9/11 victims, and then accused Paul of playing “politics,” by using videos of floor speeches to raise money.

The exchange was striking, even in a debate that was tense from the start. Though several rivals stood out, Trump did not hold his fire, either – making clear he’s not softening his approach to campaigning as he picks up steam in the polls.

If anything, the debate signaled the primary race is about to get tougher and is still wide open as 17 candidates vie for the lead with months to go until the opening contests.

Trump, the billionaire businessman front-runner, sparred at the outset of the debate with Paul after refusing to pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee if it’s not him and to swear off an independent run.

“I will not make the pledge at this time,” Trump said.

Paul accused him of “hedging his bet on the Clintons.”

“He’s already hedging his bets, because he’s used to buying politicians,” Paul said. (Trump later acknowledged he gave money to the Clintons and demanded Hillary Clinton “be at my wedding” in exchange; he called this a sign of a broken system.)

Trump also stood firm on his vow to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. “If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be talking about illegal immigration,” Trump said, blasting “stupid leaders” in the U.S. harboring illegal immigrants.

Bush said a comprehensive solution is needed, including a “path to earned legal status,” which he said is not “amnesty.”

Moments later, Cruz said some on stage support “amnesty”, while he does not.

A big question going into the debate was whether Bush would aggressively challenge Trump and try to knock him off his perch.

But he would only go so far as to question Trump’s tone, calling his language “divisive.” Hours before the debate, Politico ran a story saying Bush recently told a donor he thinks Trump is a “buffoon” and a “clown.” Asked about that report on stage, Bush denied it.

“It’s not true,” Bush said.

Trump then called Bush a “true gentleman.”

As for his tone, Trump said it’s “medieval times” in the Middle East, and, “We don’t have time for tone.”

But other candidates were able to stand out on the crowded stage. Carson called Hillary Clinton the “epitome” of the progressive movement.

“She counts on the fact that people are uninformed. The Alinsky model, taking advantage of useful idiots,” he said.

Walker also blasted the Iran nuclear deal, as did other candidates: “This is not just bad with Iran, this is bad with ISIS, it is tied together and once and for all we need a leader who is going to do something about it. It is yet another example of the failed foreign policy of the Obama-Clinton doctrine.”

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio landed laughs when, upon being asked about his faith in God, he said: “I think God has blessed us, he’s blessed the Republican Party with some very good candidates. The Democrats can’t even find one.”

Rubio also vowed to repeal and replace ObamaCare, and called the lack of accountability after the Veterans Affairs scandal “outrageous.”

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee vowed to defend entitlements and stood his ground on social issues. He blasted Planned Parenthood and defended his pro-life views, accusing abortion providers of “selling” fetal parts “like they’re parts to a Buick.”

Kasich, like Walker and Bush, tried to keep the focus on his record in his state.

“America is a miracle country and we have to restore the sense that the miracle will apply to you,” he said.

And Cruz vowed, if elected, to prosecute Planned Parenthood, cancel the Iran nuclear deal and nix Obama’s executive orders. “I believe the American people are looking for someone to speak the truth,” he said.

Trump was challenged several times on his conservative views. He previously was pro-choice, but said he’s “evolved” on the issue.

Also, under questioning from moderator Megyn Kelly about past disparaging comments he made about women, Trump interrupted to say, “Only Rosie O’Donnell.” He then said, “Honestly, Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry.”

The candidates squared off at the second of two kick-off debates, hosted by Fox News and Facebook in conjunction with the Ohio Republican Party.

The seven other Republican hopefuls spent much of the first debate doing their best to hammer home the message that Clinton represents four more years of Obama. In the earlier debate, the candidates largely avoided sparring with each other and instead trained their fire on the Obama years — with promises to roll back ObamaCare and undo the Iran nuclear deal.

During the Fox News GOP debate Thursday, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stated, “The military is not a social experiment.” Huckabee continued, “The purpose of the military is kill people and break things. It’s not to transform the culture by trying out some ideas that some people think would make us a different country and more diverse. The purpose is to protect America. I’m not sure how paying for transgender surgery for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines makes our country safer.”

Fiorina stands out in Republican ‘happy hour’ debate

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina stood out Thursday in the first GOP primary debate, taking shots at Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton while showing off her foreign policy acumen.

Fiorina, the only woman among the 17 Republican candidates taking part in Thursday’s two debates, shined as the seven candidates who didn’t make the Republican top 10 squared off in a 5 p.m. undercard.

Minutes into what’s being called the happy hour debate, she took a shot at GOP front-runner Donald Trump for his connections to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

“I didn’t get a phone call from Bill Clinton before I jumped in the race. Did any of you get a phone call from Bill Clinton? I didn’t,” Fiorina said, referencing reports that Trump spoke with Bill Clinton ahead of his presidential launch.

“Maybe it’s because I haven’t given money to the foundation or donated to his wife’s Senate campaign,” she added.

Fiorina further highlighted Trump’s policy inconsistencies, an attack that may return in the 9 p.m. debate.

“I would also just say this. Since he has changed his mind on amnesty, on healthcare and on abortion, I would just ask, what are the principles by which he will govern?” Fiorina asked.

Fiorina outlined an ambitious agenda for her first days in office if she were to become president. She would call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Iranian supreme leader to express displeasure with the agreement, she said, then on the second day, she’d convene a summit at Camp David with Arab allies.

Fiorina, who has often been discussed as a possible vice presidential candidate for her party, closed her performance by taking a shot at Hillary Clinton, the Democratic front-runner for that party’s presidential nomination.

She criticized Clinton for dodging questions on topics including the 2012 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead.

“We need a nominee who is going to throw every punch, not pull punches,” Fiorina said.

Google reported that Fiorina was the most searched candidate during the early debate, and she also received the most Twitter chatter.

Pundits also gave her good reviews, with Washington Post columnist George Will saying she “stood out with precision and fluency,” and Fox News host Chris Wallace also praising her.

Fox News pundit Charles Krauthammer said she won the debate “going away.”

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry also maintained a steady performance throughout the debate, using his time on stage to tout his state’s economic performance and calling for the Iran nuclear deal negotiated by President Obama to be torn up.

It was a much stronger performance for Perry than four years ago, when his first presidential campaign quickly came crashing down after he was heard saying “oops,” when he forgot that he wanted to abolish the Department of Education in response to a debate question.

But Perry also seemed to boost Fiorina, by at one point suggesting she should have negotiated the Iran deal on behalf of the U.S. instead of Secretary of State John Kerry.

“I would whole lot rather have Carly Fiorina over there doing our negotiation than John Kerry. Maybe we would have gotten a deal where we didn’t give everything away,” Perry said.

Fiorina has not been shy about going after Clinton, whose allies quickly fired back on Thursday.

“Carly Fiorina sure seemed to like Hillary Clinton back when she spoke before the Clinton Global Initiative,” Correct the Record spokeswoman Mary Jennings said.

Correct the Record is a rapid-response organization allied with Clinton.

“In reality, Fiorina is just another cookie-cutter, out-of-touch far-right Republican — holding the same out-of-date positions as all the rest on stage, and willing to take shots at the positive, philanthropic work of others.”

The seven candidates for the initial debate performed before a mostly empty auditorium; tickets were not sold for the undercard to the 9 p.m. debate.

The Fox News hosts moderating the debate, Martha MacCallum and Bill Hemmer, essentially asked each candidate at the beginning why anyone should take them seriously.

MacCallum and Hemmer asked Perry why he’s ready to lead the country now after his failed 2012 bid; whether Fiorina comparing herself to Margaret Thatcher is “a stretch;” if former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum’s moment had “passed;” and why Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal should be president given his low popularity in his home state.

The seven underdogs spared each other from criticism, but aimed fire at two Republicans who will be on the prime-time stage: Trump and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Under questioning from the moderators, Jindal criticized Kasich for expanding Medicaid in Ohio under ObamaCare.

“I don’t think anybody should expand Medicaid,” said Jindal, who rejected the Medicaid expansion in his state. “I think it was a mistake to expand Medicaid everywhere, in Ohio and across the country.”

Kasich stands out among the Republican presidential candidates for accepting the expansion. Under ObamaCare, states have the choice of expanding eligibility for Medicaid, the government health insurance program for the poor, up to 138 percent of the poverty level.Complete Message

Former New York Gov. George Pataki sided with Jindal.

“I don’t think you expand entitlements when so many people are dependent on government,” he said.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who appeared loose and open in a New Hampshire forum earlier this week, seemed tense at the start of Thursday’s debate and rambled on an answer about Clinton’s comment that she and her husband were “dead broke” when they left the White House.

But near the end of the debate, Graham shared a compelling story of depending on Social Security after his parents died.

“Today I’m 60. I’m not married, I don’t have any kids. I would give up some Social Security to save the system that Americans are going to depend on now and in the future,” Graham said.

The Democratic National Committee panned the debate as a repeat of GOP candidates who ran for president four years ago.

“They are outdated, out of touch and out of line, but not out of company. If you missed the pre-show, these ideas will be on full display again in a few hours,” DNC spokeswoman Holly Shulman said in a statement.

To paraphrase Snoop Dogg, “Bruce Jenner isn’t news, he’s a science experiment.”

I couldn’t agree more.  Shame on ESPN to be force feeding the sports watching public with this liberal dogmatic crap, continually hammering in this lie that having a sex change is somehow normal or a courageous act. 

No.  It is a mental disorder.  It even has a name, Body Dysmorphic Disorder.  We don’t champion anorexics or bulimics for being “brave” enough to starve or vomit their way to a thinner body.

There is nothing brave or natural about chopping off parts of your body and taking a plethora of drugs to change your sex.  It’s a psychological disease that needs treatment and therapy and all the people who are cheering for Bruce Jenner’s mutilation of himself are fooling both themselves and this man whose mental disorder has led him down a path of Frankensteinian horror.

Posit for a moment a person who doesn’t like their hands.  For one reason or another doesn’t believe they should have been born with hands.  That they were born with the 2 natural appendages all healthy and whole people are born with.  Do we celebrate when this person runs both of their wrists over a table saw so they can be their “true selves.”  No.  We are appalled and believe that they need help and try to attach their hands back on.  We get them counseling and put them on medication in hopes that they don’t feel like they were born with two feet they don’t need either.

What Bruce Jenner did to himself is no less of a horrific act.

And ESPN goes ahead and gives him the Arthur Ashe Courage Award which apparently celebrates personal mutilation.

In the video that ESPN produced for the award ceremony they coupled Bruce Jenner’s 1976 Olympic Gold Medal in the Decathlon with being cool with being patriotic again.  Then segwayed into how its cool to have your body mutilated if it makes you feel good about yourself.

How Bruce Jenner was always a female trapped in a male body.  How his failed marriages were because he was really a woman.  And how that chopping off his body parts would make him feel better.

This apparently is good enough for ESPN to give him an award on courage.

To most rational thinking people, outside of Hollywood and the liberal media machine this is a sad case of a man being prodded along by people who care more about making money or pushing an agenda than what is actually happening to him.

What Bruce Jenner did to himself is not a brave act.  It is a cry for help.  A cry that was left unanswered by those who should have cared for him the most.

When I hear his kids giving interviews of how proud they are of him and his “courage” to mutilate himself I just wish there was someone there to smack them in the face and wake them from whatever reality tv trance they are in.  To yell at them to stop being reality tv whores and think about something more than ratings and money.

Did ANY of Bruce Jenner’s kids say: “This is messed up, dad you need help?”

Or did they just smile for the camera and say what was the most liberally acceptable thing?

It seems the answer is clear.

But I’m not done with ESPN yet.

Bruce Jenner’s mental disorder is not only being celebrated by ESPN at the ESPY’s (or for that matter for the past few months on a number of their shows) but it also replaced two possible nominees who had REAL COURAGE in facing adversity that was not the result of their own mental breakdowns.

First is Noah Galloway.  Sgt. Galloway was an Iraq War veteran who lost his left arm above the elbove and leg above the knee.  Rather than letting that define his life he fought through the difficult rehab and had the courage to face the adversity that being a double amputee levied against him.  Not only did he compete on dancing with the stars finished in third place.

But dancing is not the only place where he competes in athletics.  He participates in a variety of fitness competitions from regular 5K and 10K races to ones such as Tough Mudders, CrossFit competitions and Spartan events as well as being a personal fitness trainer for others.

Not your cup of courage?  Fine.

How about young Lauren Hill, basketball player for Mt. St. Joseph University in Cincinnati Ohio.  Lauren was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer?  Instead of crying herself to sleep every night and checking out early of life, Lauren grabbed the life she had remaining to her and lived it with the poise and grace that belies her 19 years.

She fought the good fight, played her Freshman year of basketball, played through the pain of the cancer that was ravaging her body.  She raised more than $1.5million for pediatric cancer research before her illness claimed her life on April 10th of this year.  Talk about courage, people with more years and experience would have broken down and felt sorry for themselves if given the diagnosis of t terminal brain cancer.  Lauren Hill fought against the dying of the light and made her life, brief though it was, mean something.  Doing that when faced with a bad break is what courage is.  This is the face of courage:

I’m not sure what makes me more nauseous, the fact that Bruce Jenner mutilated himself so or the fact that ESPN and the liberal press are trying to force feed me the BS that it is not only an “okay” thing but that is should be celebrated.

I feel sorry for Bruce Jenner that he couldn’t get the help he needed and I feel disgust for all the people, including ESPN, who have profited from this man’s mental disorder.

The whole situation makes me sick and I for one am not going to apologize for not accepting this as a natural act…or courageous one.

These past three weeks have served to set your extremist agenda back years, and that’s fantastic. People get it. Putting the “trans” prefix ahead of some objective truth that you oh-so-very-much-wish weren’t so, does not reverse that truth and make your personal fantasy become everyone’s reality. Ever heard of a “transabled” person? “Transgender” activists have long distanced themselves from the “transabled” community because the two clinical psychoses are effectively different manifestations of the same disorder. The “transabled” person has a sincere, deep-seated belief that he or she is a disabled person trapped in a perfectly healthy and able body. In an effort to align their false identity with objective reality, “transabled” people have amputated healthy limbs, intentionally blinded themselves, had their legs crushed and worse. Ironically, the transabled person who saws off a perfectly healthy arm, pokes out an eye or deliberately cripples healthy legs can actually achieve success. If he does one or more of these things, he will, in fact, become disabled.DO NOT JACKASS

The “transgender” person, on the other hand, can never enjoy this same success. If one who tragically believes that he or she is trapped in the wrong-sexed body goes through with cosmetic “gender reassignment” surgery and maims his or her body by mutilating perfectly healthy reproductive organs (or by having healthy breasts cut off if female), then that person remains as that person began – male or female. “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female (Mark 10:6).”

The pitiful paradox here is that, rather than being transformed to the opposite sex (or “gender” as “progressives” prefer) the “transgendered” will, like his or her similarly situated “transabled” counterpart, simply become physically disabled (and sterilized).

Or consider the anorexic. This is the emaciated person who, misperceiving herself to be grossly overweight, will starve herself to death. You don’t help the anorexic by affirming her delusion, calling her “transfat” and giving her liposuction. You feed her. And then you get her therapy.

Leftists love to say that race and “gender” are social constructs. Clever little buggers, aren’t they? This is a classic example of George Orwell’s doublethink. It’s a deliberate tactic by which relativists are able, with a straight face, to call up down, white black and male female. They muddy fixed, objective truths by labeling them “social constructs,” while, at the same time, socially constructing the rhetorical tools needed for fascism. Pretendoids like “gender identity,” “transphobia,” “sexual orientation” and “homophobia” are just a few examples of such social constructs (yes, I made up “pretendoids.” If they can do it, then so can I).Liberalism a mental disorder 2

For relativism to work – and that’s what we’re talking about here; relativism;

  • reality must be undone,
  • adherents to objective truth pilloried
  • and all dissent stifled.

This is classic cultural Marxism. It’s a bizarre and despotic world in which the left’s upside-down version of “inclusivity” trumps authenticity – a society wherein any recognition of objective truths that “progressives” cannot (more properly, will not) abide, are labeled offensive “microagressions” that, when uttered even offhandedly, demand swift punitive measures.

While penning the infamous majority decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, a decision that upheld the phantom “constitutional right” for a mother to have her own child dismembered alive, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote, “At the heart of liberty is the right to define one’s own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life.” This, of course, is abject nonsense. Still, it is illuminating. It’s the rationale that undergirds, to the extent that anything devoid of substance can undergird anything else, the moral relativist worldview responsible for the postmodern “trans” phenomenon.

But it’s much more than all that.

Justice Kennedy is widely expected to be the swing vote in the Supreme Court’s imminent “gay marriage” decision, Obergefell v. Hodges, which will come down within the next couple of weeks. He will presume to dictate whether black is white, up is down, and whether we must all pretend, under penalty of law, that a man can somehow “marry” another man. Kennedy thinks people have the “right” to redefine the universe.

This is “transsane.”

Which does not bode well for marriage.

Seriously. We wouldn’t joke about this. Barack Obama’s EEOC has just ruled that guys can legally jump in the shower with you at the health club. Or any other public place for that matter. Oh, and forget about the ladies room.

The following is from a recent EEOC decision in a case filed by a transgender, civilian, Army employee who was still biologically a male.

This is going to bring about a real cultural shift.  Just imagine, every high school sports team will be majority-transgender.  Of course, the law applies in both directions, so we expect that there might even be some transgender cheerleaders who would identify as male.

Hence, any guys who are nervous about using the girls’ showers may just have their showers invaded by girls-who-identify-as-male.  High school will never be the same.

And then there’s the college-radical-feminist crowd.  Heh.

In keeping with his “pen and a phone” theory of unilateral executive power, President Obama has announced that he intends to issue an executive order concerning federal protection of those who ascribe to a different “gender identity” than that assigned at birth.
  
The executive order will ban any discrimination by federal contractors on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
The move is likely a nod to the homosexual and transgender communities during “LGBT pride month.”
In 2012, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled that federal bans on discrimination also protected transgendered people.
In April, Sarah Vestal, a man who identifies as a woman who works for the Treasury Department, told the Huffington Post, “It would help eliminate the structural discrimination. Transgender people in the federal government are pulling their hair out.”
The president has made broad use of his claimed power to issue executive orders on a wide range of issues. On Monday, the president also announced he would act unilaterally on immigration reform issues without the consent of Congress.

As I became a teenager sodomites began to whine about their victimhood because of GRIDS (Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome, renamed as AIDS to protect the guilty), which led to a campaign to use the term “gay” instead of other references in hopes that it would make it more palatable to society, which it did. Lately it’s been what is commonly called transgendered people that will be put out on display to be pushed to be “accepted.” The latest in this round of degeneracy is former Navy SEAL Team 6 senior chief petty officer Christopher Beck, who had surgery to remove his penis and testicles, put in a gash that is a “pretend vagina,” and took hormones in the vain thought of becoming a woman, and Barack Obama’s Pentagon thinks he is a great poster child for military recruitment. Nothing says, “Be all you can be” like this, right?

It wasn’t enough that the Obama administration has revoked “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” to not enforce the law of the land under the Defense of Marriage Act and to actually promote the wickedness and perversion of homosexuality. Now his Defense Department thinks it is wise to take a mentally ill former SEAL and use him as a recruitment tool…. and Beck is a tool.

Kristin Beck, formerly Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Beck, spoke recently at several high-profile events at intelligence agencies and the Pentagon to promote the integration of transgenders. “Transgender service in the armed forces, yes it will happen soon,” she said on Twitter.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, among the most politically correct Pentagon chiefs of the past several decades, fueled the effort within the Pentagon to integrate transgenders in May when he said the policy of banning transgenders should be reviewed continually. The transgender drive is the latest element of the Obama administration’s social engineering within the U.S. military.

The Pentagon currently defines transgenders as sexual deviants.

Among Ms. Beck’s recent appearances were speeches at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office and at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, according to the DIA and her Twitter feed. She also was scheduled to speak to the Multicultural Heritage Committee at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, although one defense official said it is not clear how transgenderism fits within the multicultural spectrum.

Did you get that? The Pentagon defines Beck as a “sexual deviant,” yet uses him to promote military recruitment. Unbelievable!

Furthermore, just because a man emasculates himself, grows his hair out, puts makeup on, gets breast implants or takes hormones to grow them, doesn’t change the fact that his DNA determines that he will always be a male. Yes, that little Y chromosome thing does make the difference.

Beck is also the author of Warrior Princess. According to Amazon’s description of the book:

Yeah, nothing screams fear to your enemies than a man in a dress, and seriously, the last line about gender between your legs, or something bigger? I’ll hold back on any comment. But that is exactly the point isn’t it? Gender is more than just between your legs. Though outwardly that shows us gender, it’s actually bound up in our DNA.

As Dr. Eowyn points out, “That is why psychiatrist Joseph Berger, M.D., says from a medical and scientific perspective, there is no such thing as a transgendered person.”

Beck claims, “The world is looking at us. You can change the wallpaper, but I’m still right here. I can still do the job I was doing in uniform.”

More than performance, if the Pentagon defines transgenders as sexual deviants, why are they not upholding their own rules regarding such? This activity is banned, even though “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was repealed. Why are they promoting a sexual deviant? I can answer that in two words: Political Correctness, and there is no doubt this will only weaken the US military, which is being purged and sodomized.

No longer are people strong enough to call things what they are, because they are afraid of being labeled “bigot,” “homophobe,” “xenophobe,” “racist,” or a myriad of names. Look, I would just as soon see Beck repent of what he has done, but people coddling the ridiculous notion that this man is a woman are only help to push him into it further. Eventually, my guess is that Beck will find that he will be unable to deal in the reality he has set himself in and as a result, he will follow a long line of people who have gone down the same path and it ended in suicide. He will encourage other confused men and women to continue in this practice to the dishonor of their bodies, minds and the US military.

Pentagon OKs Manning Transfer for Gender Treatment

WASHINGTON (AP) — In an unprecedented move, the Pentagon is trying to transfer convicted national security leaker Pvt. Chelsea Manning to a civilian prison so she can get treatment for her gender disorder, defense officials said.

Manning, formerly named Bradley, was convicted of sending classified documents to anti-secrecy website WikiLeaks. The soldier has asked for hormone therapy and to be able to live as a woman.

The request was the first ever made by a transgender military inmate and set up a dilemma for the Defense Department: How to treat a soldier for a diagnosed disorder without violating long-standing military policy. Transgender people are not allowed to serve in the U.S. military and the Defense Department does not provide such treatment, but Manning can’t be discharged from the service while serving her 35-year prison sentence.

Some officials have said privately that keeping the soldier in a military prison and unable to have treatment could amount to cruel and unusual punishment.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel last month gave the Army approval to try to work out a transfer plan with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, which does provide such treatment, two Pentagon officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.

“No decision to transfer Pvt. Manning to a civilian detention facility has been made, and any such decision will, of course, properly balance the soldier’s medical needs with our obligation to ensure Pvt. Manning remains behind bars,” Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby said.

The two agencies are just starting discussions about prospects for a transfer, the two officials said.

“Fantastic. This psychotic homosexual sodomite, who put our country at great risk, as well as our military, is being given special attention. His every needs considered. Why? Because he is such a wonderful person. After all, he did wreck havoc with our security and destroyed enumerable military and clandestine operations by giving WikiLeaks more than 700,000 secret military and U.S. State Department documents, along with battlefield video, while working in Iraq in 2009 and 2010.’

The Army has a memorandum of agreement with the Bureau of Prisons for use of several hundred beds and has sent an average of 15 to 20 prisoners a year to civilian prisons. But circumstances are different in Manning’s case. The Army normally transfers some prisoners to federal prisons after all military appeals have been exhausted and discharge from military service has been executed. Cases of national security interest are not normally approved for transfer from military custody to the federal prison system.

The former intelligence analyst was sentenced in August for six Espionage Act violations and 14 other offenses for giving WikiLeaks more than 700,000 secret military and U.S. State Department documents, along with battlefield video, while working in Iraq in 2009 and 2010. An Army general later upheld the convictions, clearing the way for an appeal at the Army Court of Criminal Appeals.

After the conviction, Manning announced the desire to live as a woman and to be called Chelsea, a name change that was approved last month by a Leavenworth County District Judge and that the military did not oppose.

The soldier has been diagnosed by military doctors multiple times — including last fall after arriving at the Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, prison — with gender dysphoria, the sense of being a woman in a man’s body.

By November, a military doctor there had approved a treatment plan, including hormone therapy, but it was sent higher up the chain of command for consideration, according to a complaint filed by Manning in March over the delay in getting treatment.

The plan the military was considering has not been publicly released, but Manning said in the complaint that she had specifically asked that the treatment “plan consider … three types of treatment.”

Those were “real life experience” — a regimen in which the person tries dressing and living as the sex they want to transition to (something not possible in the Leavenworth men’s facility); hormone therapy, which changes some physical traits such as breast and hair growth; and sex reassignnment surgery. Manning has not been specific about possible surgery, but experts in transgender health say it can include any of a large number of procedures such as chest reconstruction, genital reconstruction and plastic surgery such as facial reconstruction.

Hagel said Sunday that the prohibition on transgender individuals serving in the armed forces “continually should be reviewed.” He didn’t indicate whether he believes the policy should be overturned but said “every qualified American who wants to serve our country should have an opportunity if they fit the qualifications and can do it.” A transgender individual is someone who has acquired the physical characteristics of the opposite sex or presents himself or herself in a way that does not correspond with that person’s sex at birth.

To defend the United States Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The Obama Administration, with it’s persistent weakening and downright girlish makeover of those forces over the past five years – and now listening to Chuck Hagel waffle about “transgender” people serving; seems intent on looking like those enemies reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Our military forces are not a social studies experiment. They are to be recruited and trained to kill people and destroy stuff at the most efficient and devastating rate possible, with the most expensive, technologically advanced weaponry and techniques known to man. Not as nation-builders, not your friendly neighbors, not peace-keepers, but platoons and regiments of highly effective killing machines.

Wave after wave of certain and sudden death so powerful and so bloodcurdling that no one will even think about F-ing with us, our allies, or our interests unless you want your ass in a drag race with your bald spot. I don’t know what that means, but I’m pretty sure it ends up painful for you.

Sound harsh? Guess what you ungrateful punks on your smart phones, playing with yourselves on the Internet and texting your BFF about that new iPad app and getting NetFlix on your X-box because you want to watch Miley Cyrus stick her twerk out – let me tell you something:

In case you don’t spend a whole lot of time with an; “I don’t know what the hell I am” scorecard; a transgender person is somebody with one set of naughty bits, but feels they are just the opposite of what you would guess, based on the appearance of those naughty bits. In other words, they have girl parts, but are convinced they’re a boy and vice-verse. This in many cases leads to what we used to call a sex-change operation.

Of course that old caveman language just will not do and it’s “gender reassignment” surgery now.

Anyway, please don’t ask me to explain further – I’m in enough hot water right now, I’m sure. This article is about what’s being done to make the military into an entitlement and Chuck Hagel’s latest Obamanation is just another example of an order coming from a President who I honestly think is gay. There, I said it. President Obama is either gay or transgender for all I know. Hey – he can be in the military now! If he only knew how to hold a gun.

A think tank at San Francisco State University – where else? – estimated around 15,000 transgenders currently serve in the military, National Guard and Reserve. Although in 2010 Congress said gays and lesbians could serve openly, Hagel said transgenders were way more complicated because “they have issues requiring medical attention” that can’t be provided in certain locations.

Okay, transgenders I don’t hate you, I’m not against you, I don’t pretend to understand you, I just know you shouldn’t be in the military. Shut up and get the hell out. End of story. Why? Because the military is there to blow shit up, not run around worrying about your issues, brother / sister.

Does any of this coming from Hagel surprise anyone? While Obama is building up his own private Homeland Security army, he’s decimating our National Forces, demanding retirement of our finest officers, cutting personnel, equipment, training – all while agencies of the Federal Government from the IRS to the Social Securtity office buys up weapons and ammo by the billions of dollars. This administration is out of control – the line needs to be drawn.

transFormer Navy SEAL Team 6 Chris Beck, who now goes by Kristin Beck, has proposed a pilot program that would give service members in the process of changing their sex a year to complete the emotional and physical transition in return for two years of additional service.

Chelsea Manning, the former Army private serving a 35-year prison sentence for providing classified documents to WikiLeaks, is fighting to be treated as a woman. She is seeking a counselor who specializes in gender issues and also wants to get hormone replacement therapy, which the military has said it does not provide.

We can only hope that many more like the private gets their privates straightened out courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. Or better yet, the adults will one day take over and put someone qualified in charge:

Last year, California passed a controversial bill that has become known as the Bathroom Bill.  The bill states that anyone, especially students, who claim to be transgender, may choose to use the bathroom of whatever sex they identify with regardless of their true anatomical gender.  The bill not only allows for the use of whatever sex bathroom they choose, but also locker rooms and participation in sports.That means that any teenage boy being controlled by his raging hormones can claim to be a transgendered person who thinks he’s a girl and he will have legal access to use the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms.  He will be legally allowed to gratify his sexual lusts by watching the girls undress, shower and then get redressed.  He’ll also be legally allowed to flaunt his male anatomy in front of all of the girls and no one can stop him.  A month or so later, he can recant his transgender status and go back to being a sex crazed teenaged boy.

The bill was pushed through the California legislature by gay rights activists who insist that the rights of one LGBT person should trump the rights of thousands of normal people.  They have no concern about the rights of all of the other students who find it sinful and repulsive to be exposed to a pervert or the pervert exposing himself to them.

In January I reported about a petition drive that was launched to place the Bathroom Bill on the general ballot in November.  However, two counties, Tulare and Mono, failed to process the petitions within the 90 day time limit.  The Pacific Justice Institute filed a lawsuit against the county registrars and Debra Bowen, California Secretary of State, asking that the signatures be counted and included in the drive to put the measure on the ballot because they were delivered prior to the deadline.

To get the initiative on the ballot, Privacy for All Students needed 504,760 valid signatures.  The Secretary of State’s office invalidated 131,857 signatures that left the initiative a mere 17,276 signatures short of getting it on the November ballot.  Privacy for All Students was granted permission to review the rejected signatures, but some counties in the state are blocking those efforts.

Gena Gleason of Privacy for All Students told OneNewsNow:

“Until now, the process has been done in secret.  We have not had any access to any of the procedures that the counties have used, and so now that the count has been finalized, we have the opportunity to go into each of the counties and take a look at the signatures that were invalidated.”

It seems that gay activists have successfully infiltrated some county governments and are doing everything possible to prevent Privacy from reviewing their invalidating process and the signatures they turned down.  Until the issue of the Privacy for All Students referendum is resolved, California’s Bathroom Bill – AB 1266 – has been put on hold.

Underage Female Students Forced To Tolerate Sexual Harassment By “Transgender” Boy

Oh, to be a high-school boy and have permission to use the girls’ locker rooms and the girls’ bathrooms and sit a mere two feet from a hot high-school chick using the toilet with only an inch of Formica separating them!

But how to live out such a fantasy? The solution would make a perfect ’80s screwball comedy, perhaps starring Emilio Estevez or Matthew Broderick, who has a crush on the blonde captain of the cheerleading squad and, in order to see her naked in the locker rooms, starts attending school disguised as a female foreign exchange student and joins the cheer squad. Hilarity ensues, but everybody learns a lesson in the end. Not unlike the Dustin Hoffman movie Tootsie, in fact.

Except that in these modern times, controlled entirely by liberals, no lessons are ever learned.

Female students, most of them underage, at Florence High School in Colorado are forced to endure sexual harassment at the hands of a boy who calls himself a girl—a condition referred to as “transgender” these days, as opposed to its former name, “crazy”—all so as not to hurt the sexual deviant’s feelings.

But what’s a little sexual harassment compared to the all-important virtue of tolerance?

According to the Pacific Justice Institute, females who have complained about harassment by the “transgender” student have been threatened with being charged with hate crimes and being kicked off their sports teams.

 

According to the letter [sent by the PJI], after meeting with the girls complaining about sharing a bathroom with the transgender student, school officials suggested the girls ‘avoid using the girls’ locker room’ and instead use another bathroom. However, the one suggested is ‘far from their classes’ and is not open during the after-school sports in which they participate.”

There has been a surge of male students lately who call themselves transgender, and it’s not because they’re just more courageous these days about revealing their sickness; rather, it’s because brilliant sexual predators understand that because society is more tolerant of sexual deviancy, they can not only get away with being peeping toms, but are in fact encouraged to be peeping toms.

Their resourcefulness and capitalizing upon modern society has to be commended—but they’re still sickos.

Transgender Student Law Makes Unisex Bathrooms, Teams Norm

The perverts and degenerates have won yet again in California, now that Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown has signed a trangender students bill into law.

The law covers the state’s more than 6.2 million public school students from kindergarten to grade 12 and allows the “transgender” students to choose which bathrooms to use and whether they’ll participate on boys’ or girls’ sports teams.

Supporters claim this will cut down on bullying. If anything, it will increase it, as well as raise the risk of rapes.

There are very good reasons why boys and girls don’t share restrooms, locker rooms or shower facilities. They are obvious and undeniable by anyone who is not insane,  living in an android body or a Democrat.

“Now, every transgender student in California will be able to get up in the morning knowing that when they go to school as their authentic self they will have the same fair chance at success as their classmates,” said Masen Davis, executive director of Transgender Law Center.

Translation: Now we have a law that will let us sue the capri pants off anyone who stands in the way of the homosexual agenda.

I predict that the sheeple of California will go along with this garbage until the first time the daughter of someone important gets raped in the school shower by some “transgender” boy using the girls locker room.

Fox News reports that opponents are “concerned” that the law might lead to invasions of privacy.

No kidding. About five seconds after aspiring “transgender” boys figure out they can sneak cameras and cellphones into the girls’ locker room, there will be entire new websites devoted to the pictures.

Some people, even in California, realize this bill will create huge problems, but they aren’t getting much attention.

Randy Thomasson of savecalifornia.com said, “This radical bill warps the gender expectations of children by forcing all California public schools to permit biological boys in girls restrooms, showers, clubs and on girls sports teams and biological girls in boys restrooms, showers, clubs and sports teams. This is insanity.”

It is insanity. It seems that the Powers That Be in California aim to break down the last remnants of resistance by creating compounding scenarios meant to drive residents past the mental breaking point. It’s like an episode out of “The Prisoner.”

The current experiment in madness is backed by the usual suspects including the ACLU, the teachers unions and the whole slate of pervert-equality groups.

Children’s Network Launches Transsexual Superhero Show



Nothing says “child-appropriate material” quite like gender-bending underage superheroes. At least that’s the theory over at the Hub, the network co-owned by Discovery and Hasbro, which is trotting out its latest soon-to-be-dud, SheZow. That show follows the adventures of a 12-year-old boy named Guy who uses a magic ring to transform himself into a crime-fighting girl. Yes, you read that correctly. When Guy says the magic words – “You go girl!” – he becomes SheZow, wearing a purple skirt and cape, as well as pink gloves and white boots.

The chief executive of the Hub, who may or may not have been high (and leftist) when she greenlit this project, is Margaret Loesch. Loesch commented, “When I first heard about the show, my reaction was ‘Are you out of your minds?’ Then I looked at it and I thought, ‘This is just funny.’”

The target audience for the Hub is children aged two to eleven.

MILWAUKEE – Deidri Hernandez’s seven-year-old son won’t be in school today, after officials at Tippecanoe School for the Arts and Humanities confirmed they’re still holding “Switch It Up Day” – a time for students to come dressed as members of the opposite sex.

EAGnews Gender benderHernandez tells EAGnews the day was originally billed as “Gender Bender Day,” but Tippecanoe officials made the name change after she called Principal Jeffrey Krupar to complain.

The Milwaukee mother was not impressed.

“I didn’t have a problem with the title. I had a problem with the activity taking place,” Hernandez says.

She says it’s “ridiculous” and “creepy” to ask elementary boys to come to school dressed as girls, and vice versa, and predicts that having students dress as “transvestites” will distract from the learning process.

Hernandez knows of at least one other parent who shares her concerns and plans to hold her child out of class, too.

But it’s the motivation behind “Switch It Up Day” that has Hernandez most concerned.

She wonders if it is being done to promote the acceptance of homosexuality to students in school, which runs from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Hernandez thinks it’s inappropriate to expose young children to these issues, even in a light-hearted manner.

“They might as well call it ‘Transgender Day,’” she says.

gender bender day second flyerAccording to Hernandez, when she called Krupar with her concerns, she was told the day was chosen by the school’s student council and is only meant to be fun.

Hernandez also complained to the superintendent’s office, but was told “by someone in the office” that the school wasn’t breaking any rules.

Hernandez says she’s “never stepped out like this” to challenge school policy, but decided somebody had to.

“Every time something’s bothering a liberal or an atheist, they come forward to complain. And somebody always has a problem with Easter or Christmas,” she explains.

Hernandez says her son won’t mind the day off from school, but she regrets that he’s going to miss a day of learning because of the controversy.

Tony Tagliavia, a spokesman for Milwaukee Public Schools, told EAGnews that “this is an idea created by students as one in a series of school spirit days” and participation is not mandatory.

We don’t believe the school meant any harm in approving the cross-dressing day. And we don’t believe the children who came up with the idea are trying to promote alternative lifestyles.

But we are concerned about student comfort. There are undoubtedly children at the school who felt like they had two bad choices today – either dress up as the opposite sex, which might make them feel uncomfortable, or dress normally and be out of place with the rest of the school, which might also make them feel  uncomfortable.

The third alternative – skipping a day of school – means they are missing a day of important instruction.

School officials should have thought this one through before giving it the green light.
