White House unveils hostage policy review, takes heat for opening door to terror ransoms

The Obama administration was accused Wednesday of giving terrorists an incentive to kidnap as it unveiled a hostage policy overhaul allowing families of U.S. hostages to pay ransom — and allowing the U.S. government to help families communicate with captors. “This doesn’t fix anything,” Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., a leading critic of the administration’s hostage policy, told Fox News. “The money that we’re going to be paying ISIS is going to be used to buy arms and to buy equipment to fight Americans and to fight the Iraqis.”

But the White House said the changes are being unveiled with the families and victims in mind. “We’re not going to abandon you. We’re going to stand by you,” Obama said of hostages’ families, speaking at the White House on Wednesday. The policy review was formally released shortly before noon, and includes a host of changes beyond the clarifications on ransom discussions — notably, the creation of a new bureaucratic structure for handling hostage cases.  The White House plans to establish a Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell responsible for coordinating the recovery of hostages; a Hostage Response Group responsible for coordinating hostage policies; and the position of “special presidential envoy for hostage affairs.” Obama said this is being done to sync up various efforts, citing past coordination problems. Picture3 crazy talk

This framework is also being met with mixed reviews, but much of the attention is on the newly clarified policies for communicating with terrorists. The White House sought the policy review last fall after the deaths of Americans held hostage by Islamic State militants. The families of some of those killed complained about their dealings with the administration, saying they were threatened with criminal prosecution if they pursued paying ransom in exchange for their loved ones’ release.

In response, the administration made clear Wednesday that officials will no longer threaten hostages’ families with prosecution for dealing with and paying ransoms to terrorist captors.  The Justice Department said in a written statement: “The department does not intend to add to families’ pain in such cases by suggesting that they could face criminal prosecution.” There is not expected to be any formal change to the law. However, the administration made clear that the Justice Department has never prosecuted anyone for paying ransom and that will continue to be the case. The White House said in a statement that the government still takes a “no concessions” approach, and it continues to be U.S. policy to “deny hostage-takers the benefits of ransom.” But the same statement says this policy does not “preclude engaging in communications with hostage-takers.” muslim-obama

The White House made clear the U.S. government may, then, help facilitate communications with terrorists on behalf of the families. The directive said the U.S. “may assist private efforts” to communicate with hostage-takers, and may even “itself communicate with hostage-takers” to try to rescue hostages. White House counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco said the U.S. government, though, would not specifically facilitate ransom payments.

The announcements still amount to a shift in the U.S. approach to hostages. It was considered a major break from past practice last year when the Obama administration traded five Taliban leaders for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. The latest policy changes could open the door to more deals, even if they are only struck with families of hostages.

Critics worry they could also encourage more kidnappings, while effectively aiding the enemy. AMEN

“The concern that I have is that by lifting that long-held principle [of not paying ransoms], you could be endangering more Americans here and overseas,” House Speaker John Boehner said. “You’re going to have to have the government now facilitating payments from the families here to the terrorists there while at the same time we have troops on the ground … fighting the same people that we’re paying money to,” Hunter said Wednesday. “You’re worth more captured now than you would be otherwise.” Former House intelligence committee chairman Mike Rogers also voiced concern on a local talk radio station Tuesday evening that this would encourage more hostage-taking and ransom demands.

Obama, though, stressed Wednesday that the U.S. government itself would not be paying ransoms.

Four Americans have been killed by the Islamic State since last summer: journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and aid workers Peter Kassig and Kayla Mueller. After the release of gruesome videos showing the beheadings of some hostages, Obama approved an airstrike campaign against the Islamic State in both Iraq and Syria.

The families’ anguish has been deepened by the fact that European governments routinely pay ransom for hostages and win their release. The U.S. says its prohibitions against the government and private individuals making any concessions to terrorist demands are aimed both at preventing more kidnappings and blocking more income for terror groups. However, the Obama administration did negotiate with the Taliban last year to win the release of Bergdahl. White House officials say those negotiations were permissible because Obama sees a special responsibility to leave no American service member behind on the battlefield. Bull

Elaine Weinstein, whose husband Warren Weinstein was accidentally killed by a U.S. drone strike in April while being held hostage by Al Qaeda, argued Tuesday against the government making such distinctions between U.S. citizens. “The people who take American citizens working abroad as hostages do not discriminate based on their job or employer, and neither should our government,” Weinstein said in a statement.

The White House invited the families of 82 Americans held hostage since 2001 to participate in the review, and 24 agreed to do so. The National Counterterrorism Center, which oversaw the review, also consulted with hostage experts from the U.S. and other countries. As part of the review’s findings, the White House announced the creation of a hostage recovery “fusion cell” that will coordinate the multiple government agencies involved in such issues. The new office aims to address family frustrations about getting contradictory information from different agencies by creating a single point of contact.

The administration is not acquiescing to the requests of some families to house the fusion cell in the White House’s National Security Council. Instead, the office will be at the FBI, and the director will be affiliated with the FBI. The cell will include representatives from the State Department, Treasury Department, CIA and other key agencies.

Obama also announced the creation of a State Department special envoy post that will head the administration’s dealings with foreign governments on hostage matters.

CAIR Officials on Memorial Day: Do U.S. Troops Merit Honor?

against America

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group labeled by the Justice Department as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity and unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism-financing trial, disingenuously claims that it is a moderate organization.

Yet, on May 23, Zahra Billoo, the radical executive-director of CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter, tweeted that she “struggles with Memorial Day each year” about whether to honor American soldiers who died in wars:

She also quoted another CAIR official, Dawud Walid, the executive-director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, as questioning whether they should honor American soldiers that died in “unjust” wars and occupations. That’s a direct insult to American soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan and those that have returned from Iraq, as CAIR officials consistently describe those wars with that terminology. Billoo quoted Walid as saying:

Billoo did, however, find one “soldier” she felt comfortably honoring. On May 26, she promoted an article from the anti-Semitic and anti-American Nation of Islam that asked for help for a “black liberation soldier” named Imam Jamil al-Amin:

Al-Amin was a member of the Black Panthers terrorist group and was convicted of murdering a police officer in 2000. He is also anti-American, stating “if America doesn’t come around, we’re gonna burn it down,” and “I say violence is necessary. It is as American as cherry pie.”

Al-Amin also said, “When we begin to look critically at the Constitution of the United States . . . we see that in its main essence it is diametrically opposed to what Allah has commanded.”

Al-Amin is considered to be a political prisoner by radical groups like the Nation of Islam, the Sankore Institute of Islamic African Studies International and now, at least one CAIR leader. The extremist cleric viewed America as intrinsically evil from its very foundation. Al-Amin’s theme is similar to other tweets written by Billoo and Walid over Memorial Day Weekend. On May 24, as Memorial Day Weekend was beginning, Walid shared his thoughts that America is a fundamentally racist country:

On May 4, Billoo re-tweeted two opinions that America is inherently murderous:

The tweets are offensive and disturbing, but they are not unprecedented. In March, the Clarion Project reported on how Billoo and Imraan Siddiqi, chairman of the board for CAIR’s Arizona chapter, were sending out tweets depicting the U.S. military as “occupiers” and “murderers.” The tweets outraged the American-Islamic Forum on Democracy (AIFD), a Muslim group opposed to Islamist extremism. Its leader, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, served in the U.S. Navy. “It is plain to see, however, that they [the CAIR officials] have nothing but disdain for our armed forces. We do hope that Muslim members of the U.S. military realize that CAIR sees you as ‘occupiers,’ not patriots protecting the freest nation on earth,” the AIFD said.

This is what some CAIR officials are saying publicly. If these are the views they feel comfortable expressing openly, then how extreme are the views expressed privately?

Update: 05/27/2014 – Zahra Billo has since deleted her tweet about struggling with Memorial Day. Screenshots of the original tweets are provided in this article.freedom combo 2

Cartoonist Left Islam and Became Advocate for Free Speech

waving flagPosted on May 7, 2015 by

I’ve always admired people who stick up for their principles even under threat of violence or death. Thomas More, the “Man for All Seasons,” is a hero of mine.

After this week, I’ve got a couple of other heroes on my list. There’s Pamela Geller, who now has a fatwah, a death threat, on her head because she stood up for free speech against the world’s Islamo-fascists. And there’s Bosch Fawstin, the cartoonist who won both the judges prize and the People’s Choice prize at last weekend’s contest in Garland, Texas.

The winning drawingFawstin is also under threat of death by the backward forces of Islam, simply for drawing an image of Mohammed. It’s interesting that in all the talk about the failed terrorist attack in Garland, few if any news outlets have actually runFawstin’s winning illustration. It’s pretty nifty line art, and I especially like theHitlerian mustache. The image shows Mohammed threatening the artist, saying, “You can’t draw me!” and the artist responding, “That’s why I draw you.”

It’s clever, and I don’t think there’s anything offensive about it, unless you’re a Muslim who’s embarrassed to have his Prophet’s and fellow Muslims’ attitudes summed up in a sentence.

Many of the entries were offensive on various levels, from the naughty-but-funny to the truly cringe-inducing, but I don’t think any of them were necessarily inaccurate. Speaking as a fellow entrant, I think Fawstin’s piece was the right choice. (Mine was more a study for a painting, rather than a cartoon, but I thought it was important to represent for the First Amendment. I would post a link to all the contest entries, but the page seems to have been removed from Photobucket.)

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart, Fawstin explained that he was raised as a Muslim in the Bronx but left the religion. When 9/11 occurred, he researched his former faith extensively and decided that he had to use his artistic talents to stand up against jihad. From the Breitbart interview:

“I did receive some flack for leaving Islam, but I didn’t feel like I left anything important behind. I wanted to get the hell out. Islam had no hold on me whatsoever. It wasn’t a heartbreak, I just left.

“Right after I left Islam, 9/11 happened. I revisited everything. I reread the Koran. I read countless books on jihad, Islam, and Muhammad. I knew as a cartoonist, as an artist, I had a tool to respond to the atrocities. I made sure I knew Islam very well before making any move.

“I became a follower of Ayn Rand’s philosophy and remain so to this day. Ironically, I went from the most misogynistic philosophy on earth, to that created by a woman. Without her work, I don’t know where the hell I’d be today.”

Fawstin’s discussion about growing up in a Muslim household underscores some of the things we’ve discussed about Islam here at Godfather Politics, including the sympathy for Nazism and the Left’s myth of the “moderate Muslim.”

“Almost all of the women in my generation were beaten by their husbands. There was strong admiration for Hitler in the household, because he killed more Jews than anyone. That’s why I refer to Hitler as Islam’s favorite infidel. They forgive him because he killed more Jews than anyone. we were ‘moderate Muslims,’ but there was still hardcore misogyny and Jew-hatred in my community.”

As might be expected from that champion of liberals-only speech, Facebook, Fawstin’s Facebook page has been removed, and Fawstin has been requesting that people share his winning cartoon with friends and associates.

The Left is abominable when it comes to protecting the free speech rights of anyone who is not in their PC club. Not only that, but Homeland Security has not even bothered contacting Geller about the Islamic death threat made against her on social media. (For that matter, I don’t think the threat has been taken down as of yet.)

But the Left — and I’m including here the RINO crowd and “moderate” Right — doesn’t get it. If we conservatives lose free speech to Islamic terror, it undercuts all our rights.freedom

While the Left may be fine with that, the rest of us who know the cost must stand up with Geller and Fawstin for free speech against the forces of jihad and totalitarianism.

Egyptian Government Closes 27,000 MOSQUES in Move to Fight Terrorism

sisi davos

Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi told attendees at Davos that Islam was in need of a “religious revolution.”

The Egyptian Ministry of Religious Endowment shuttered 27,000 local mosques under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
Al-Monitor reported:

The Egyptian Ministry of Religious Endowment has shuttered 27,000 local places of worship under the pretext of fighting terrorism, while awarding 400 preaching permits to Salafists**.

An Egyptian administrative court on Feb. 18 upheld the Ministry of Religious Endowments’ decision issued in September 2013 to close down neighborhood places of worship of less than 80 square meters (861 square feet), a move intended to protect young people from the militancy and extremism that can prevail in such places, which lack the legal standing to hold Friday prayers.

This move sets a precedent that raises many questions about the fate of mosques in many Egyptian villages, the grounds of which are usually less than 80 square meters. In reply, opponents of the decision such as the Salafist Nour Party claimed that closing down places of worship without providing a larger alternative serves to further bolster extremist ideology, considering that the larger existing mosques cannot accommodate Friday worshippers who line surrounding streets to pray. On the opposite end of the spectrum, supporters of the decision such as intellectuals and scholars say that those mosques are time bombs that threaten national security, as they fall outside the purview of the Ministry of Religious Endowments and are used to spread subversive ideologies.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama will not even utter the words “Islamic terrorism.”

**Salafists:

Salafi movement

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not to be confused with Salaf.

The Salafist movement, also known as the Salafi movement, is a movement within Islam that references the Salafist doctrine known as Salafism. Many Muslims in Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia identify as Salafists:[1] 46.87% in Qatar,[1] 44.8% in UAE,[1] 5.7% in Bahrain and 2.17% in Kuwait.[1]

Salafis are the “dominant minority” in Saudi Arabia.[2] There are 4 million Saudi Salafis, with that country’s population being described as 22.9% Salafis while most of the rest are Wahhabi.[1][3] The Salafi movement is often described as synonymous with Wahhabism, but Salafists consider the term “Wahhabi” derogatory.[4] Observers differ over whether Salafi are the same as Wahhabis or not. At other times, Salafism has been described as a hybrid of Wahhabism and other post-1960s movements.[5] Salafism has become associated with literalist, strict and puritanical approaches to Islam – and, particularly in the West, with the Salafi Jihadis who espouse offensive jihad against those they deem to be enemies of Islam as a legitimate expression of Islam.[6]

Academics and historians have used the term “Salafism” to denote “a school of thought which surfaced in the second half of the 19th century as a reaction to the spread of European ideas” and “sought to expose the roots of modernity within Muslim civilization.”[7][8] However contemporary Salafis follow “literal, traditional … injunctions of the sacred texts”, looking to Ibn Taymiyyah rather than the “somewhat freewheeling interpretation” of 19th century figures Muhammad Abduh, Jamal al-Din al-Afghani, and Rashid Rida.[9][10] The Muslim Brotherhood is often differentiated from Salafi, although the group did include the term in the “About Us” section of its website.[11]

It is often reported from various sources, including the German domestic intelligence service, that Salafism is the fastest-growing Islamic movement in the world.[12][13][14][15]

In legal matters, Salafis are divided between those who, in the name of independent legal judgement (ijtihad), reject strict adherence (taqlid) to the four schools of law (madhahib) and others who remain faithful to these.

PEACEFUL ISLAM: The Greatest Lie Since 632 AD

Written by Audrey Russo on February 18, 2015

URL of the Original Posting Site: http://clashdaily.com/2015/02/peaceful-islam-greatest-lie-since-632-ad/

kids1It’s been some 1,400 years since Islam entered the world’s culture. And from its inception, it has maintained a suffocating menu of choices to mankind…none of which concern free will OR peace. As we have seen and continue to see globally, Muslims hot for the Quran and Sharia Islamic Law, are on a Jihad crusade against all who choose NOT to follow Allah or his prophet Muhammed.

There have been over 25,000 deadly terror attacks committed by Muslims since 9-11. From Canada to Denmark to Australia…Islam’s influence (by its hateful harangues emanating from Islam’s holy books) has encouraged torture, rape, pedophilia and slaughter (via beheadings, incinerations, stabbings and bombings) of thousands upon thousands of innocent human beings.

And yet, anyone who dares mention these facts…is subject to an crushing bombardment of verbal salvos by cowering Westerners…as well as death threats by Muhammed’s faithful.

Exactly WHEN was the last time an Islamic message broke out in loving and serving non-Muslims? Or a street rally of Muslims chanted: “Love to America”, “Hugs to Israel”, “Bless anyone who slanders the prophet” or “Be kind to Infidels, wherever you find them”? Has this EVER happened? As we say in NYC: NEVA!!culture of deceit and lies

Western leaders and the mainstream media like to use the term “Radical” when referring to devout Muslims that commit heinous acts for Islam. But here lies the rub…the actual definition of that term is the antithesis of how it’s being used. The dictionary defines “radical” as: of or going to the root or origin; fundamental.

These Mohammedans have gone back to the roots of their creed. They are fundamentalists who follow in the footsteps and behaviors of their prophet. M0hammed was not a man of peace, but rather a man of war, having been in 100 violent campaigns to spread Islam and fill his Jihad coffers. We see this STILL occurring with ISIS, Boko Haram, Hamas, et al. They invade the lands of non-Muslims, kill, steal and destroy… Just like Mohammed did…

The split second these Islamic attacks occur…the West is falling all over itself in a mad rush for the microphone to announce to the world the mantra of morons: Islam is a religion of peace.radical-islam-threat

But, in actuality…according to the empirical evidence: Islam is a religion of bigotry, hate and brutality. And that’s on a good day…

Now, I don’t intend to be harsh, BUT…let’s stop being the idiotic infidels that Mohammed told his followers we are. Let’s instead go back to critical thinking where we use the intellect the Judeo-Christian God gave us…and finally confront this centuries-old LIE with TRUTH. Freedom with Prayer

Fight Them Over There: Kill the terrorists before they reach the West

U.S. Marines fight the Taliban in Afghanistan / AP

U.S. Marines fight the Taliban in Afghanistan / AP

And there is really only one way America can respond to this challenge. We need to kill them first. We need to kill them on a field of battle whose contours are determined not by the terrorists but by us. We need to kill them over there—in the Middle East—before they reach the West.

I realize that for at least the next two years what I propose is wishful thinking. American policy has reverted to a defensive condition in which Islamic terrorists set the terms of conflict. We have been here before. Until 2001, the United States treated Islamic terrorism as a matter of law enforcement. When our embassies were raided or bombed, when our barracks were destroyed, when our soldiers and sailors were murdered, when our World Trade Center was attacked, when our destroyer was damaged, we treated the assailants as members of an Arabic-speaking mafia, as criminals to be apprehended, tried, and punished.

Didn’t work. The jihad grew. It even found a base in Afghanistan, where it could equip and train and plot. In 2001, in a single fall morning, the World Trade Center was destroyed, the Pentagon bludgeoned, and more than 3,000 innocent people were killed.

America rethought its approach to terrorism. No longer were the terrorists considered felons. They were now unlawful combatants. Surveillance, interrogation, and detention policies became more aggressive. We invaded Afghanistan, we toppled the Taliban, and we sent al Qaeda leadership into hiding.

When America invaded Iraq in 2003, al Qaeda and its followers—joining forces with Saddam’s former commanders and marginalized Sunni tribes—designated the Tigris-Euphrates plain the main battleground of the global jihad. Aspiring jihadists, enemies of the West, traveled to Iraq where they encountered, and were killed by, heavily armed and expertly trained U.S. pilots, soldiers, and Marines.

The point of the war on terrorism was not merely to “decimate” the “core of al Qaeda.” The objective was also, in the course of a long struggle, to delegitimize the Qaeda movement and deter its fellow travelers by revealing Islamism as an evolutionary dead end. The unstated message of the strategy was this: If you choose jihad against the West, you will spend your life in Guantanamo or you will die.

Look what happened. By May 2008, plagiarist and emcee Fareed Zakaria could report: “If you set aside” the war in Iraq, “terrorism has in fact gone way down over the past five years.” And soon one did not have to “set aside” Iraq. When the change in strategy and surge of troops Bush ordered in 2007 began to take effect, violence in Iraq went “way down” too.

With the election of President Obama, however, the conflict between Islamism and America entered a third phase. Our troops were removed from the battlefield in Iraq and Afghanistan, leaving Special Forces and drone pilots to do most of the fighting. The defense budget was cut. Harsh interrogation was curtailed, and Guantanamo Bay slowly emptied. Surveillance practices were disrupted. The words “Islamic terrorism” would not be uttered, for that somehow legitimized extremists. As for the terrorists themselves, they were once again treated like criminals.more evidence

What has resulted is a dramatic uptick in Islamic radicalism. In January 2014 the RAND Corporation found that “the number of Salafi-jihadist groups and fighters increased after 2010, as well as the number of attacks perpetrated by Al Qaeda and its affiliates.” Attacks including the Ft. Hood massacre; the assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi; the Boston Marathon bombing whose victims included an 8-year-old boy; and the public beheading of British Fusilier Lee Rigby.

The absence of American troops in Iraq created an opportunity for ISIS, the Islamic army born of the Syrian civil war. Last summer, from its base in Raqqa, Syria, ISIS invaded Iraq. It captured and imposed sharia law on Mosul, a city of more than a million people, beheaded journalists, and threatened Baghdad, the Kurds, and minority sects with extermination.Airstrikes-600-LI America will NOT be drawn Battle-Plans-590-LI Bombing-ISIS-NRD-600-logo Iraq-buck-590-LA Iraq-sacrifices-NRD-600-w-logo Let me be clear Pulling-the-Pin-NRD-600-w-Logo Stable-Iraq MIssion Accomplished WMD-in-Iraq

ISIS “controls more land and has more weapons than any other jihadist organization in history,” according to experts at the American Enterprise Institute. ISIS is said to possess “more than $2 billion in assets” and command an “estimated 40,000 fighters.” ISIS is expert at “propaganda by the deed”: the spectacular use of public violence to provoke fear in your enemies and loyalty in your friends. There is even an ISIS gift shop. A global movement cowering in fear does not sell tchotchkes.

Nor is ISIS the only jihadist group on the offensive. Yemen has collapsed into a civil war between Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and Iranian-backed Houthi militants. Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb operates freely in Libya and Algeria and Mali. Boko Haram slaughtered thousands while expanding its holdings in Nigeria. Al-Shabaab runs central and southern Somalia. Hamas kills Jews from its Gaza satrapy. The Taliban is ready for its comeback in Afghanistan. This swelling of radical Islam—in territory, in resources, in adherents, in scalps—extends to Muslim communities around the world, and to disturbed and alienated men and women hungry to join a winning fight.

The central front of the war on terror is no longer Iraq. It is not Afghanistan. It is the West, and all lands associated with the West. So the radicals strike Israel, they kill in Sydney, they gun down cartoonists and Jews in Paris, they plan to strike the U.S. Capitol with pipe bombs and rifles.

Such a pattern of destruction ought to force a reevaluation of American strategy. But that has not happened. Instead our response to jihadism has been confusing, contradictory, insipid, self-destructive, and inane.AMEN

The administration not only skips a solidarity march in Paris. It won’t call the Charlie Hebdo and kosher market attacks Islamic terrorism. The favorite newspaper of the White House is more concerned with the “fear and resentment” of European populations tired of being killed than it is with terrorism. The error-ridden blog edited by one of the president’s favorite pundits says discussions of free speech “often seem more about justifying Islamophobia against everyday Muslims, who are just as overwhelmingly peaceful as every other religious group, than they are about protecting rights that are seriously endangered.”Obama Muslim collection

Guantanamo inmates are released to Oman, which borders Yemen, on the same day an American jihadist is arrested for plotting an attack on the nation’s Capitol. The State Department says it’s okay for Iran—a radical theocracy that is the largest sponsor of terrorism in the world, that sows upheaval from Lebanon to Syria to Iraq to Bahrain to Yemen, that originated the idea of assassinating Western authors who blaspheme Mohammed—to build additional nuclear plants.

The means by which the president reluctantly has attempted to take the fight to the terrorists are not succeeding. Micromanagement by White House officials of the air campaign against ISIS has resulted in a stalemate. American advisers to Iraq say it will take a minimum of three years to prepare the Iraqi army to roll back the Caliphate. Meanwhile our soldiers are subjected to mortar rounds launched from ISIS positions. So passive-aggressive is the president’s war on ISIS that Iraqis are beginning to suggest that “ISIS is a U.S. creation.” One Iraqi told the Wall Street Journal: “The international coalition against ISIS is a comedy act. America can destroy ISIS in one day only, but it does not do it.”

What about Yemen, which President Obama has held up as a model of intervention? Michael Crowley of Politico reports, “Since mid-September, the U.S. has conducted just three drone strikes in Yemen, down from 19 last year, according to data compiled by the New America Foundation. And that was a fraction of the 2012 peak of 56 drone and air strikes.” Yemen and Syria are the key nodes of a global network of financing, training, and planning for jihadist operations. The United States has allowed this network to persist, indeed to grow in complexity and reach.

Only by extinguishing ISIS can the United States begin to reassert its authority and put the jihadists on the defensive. But increasing the number and pace of drone and air strikes will not be enough. The number of U.S. ground forces in Iraq must be dramatically increased, and America seriously must work to remove the cause of the Syrian civil war: the mass murderer Bashar al-Assad, who continues to use chemical weapons, has entered into a de facto alliance with our terrorist adversary, and is reconstituting his nuclear weapons program.

Above all, America must cease pretending that Muslim rage is something the United States can ignore and avoid or is powerless against or cannot fight over there. We must fight it over there, or be resigned to terrorist attacks over here. Again and again and again.AMEN Freedom with Prayer

White House: Obama to restrict media’s reporting of anti-jihad articles

At Monday’s White House press briefing, chief spokesman Josh Earnest indicated that in light of the terrorist raid of Charlie Hebdo’s Paris offices by jihadists, President Barack Obama would be taking a serious swipe at the First Amendment freedom of the press as it pertains to future anti-Jihadist articles.

The Daily Caller reported:

President Barack Obama has a moral responsibility to push back on the nation’s journalism community when it is planning to publish anti-jihadi articles that might cause a jihadi attack against the nation’s defenses forces, the White House’s press secretary said Jan. 12.

“The president … will not now be shy about expressing a view or taking the steps that are necessary to try to advocate for the safety and security of our men and women in uniform” whenever journalists’ work may provoke jihadist attacks, spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at the White House’s daily briefing.

The unprecedented reversal of Americans’ civil-military relations, and of the president’s duty to protect the First Amendment, was pushed by Earnest as he tried to excuse the administration’s opposition in 2012 to the publication of anti-jihadi cartoons by the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.Imperial President Obama kingobamafingerconstitution-300x204

Back in Sept. 2012, then-White House Press Secretary Jay Carney criticized Charlie Hebdo for its publication of cartoon images lampooning Mohammad. He said, according to White House Dossier:

Well, we are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the Prophet Muhammad, and obviously, we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this. We know that these images will be deeply offensive to many and have the potential to be inflammatory. But we’ve spoken repeatedly about the importance of upholding the freedom of expression that is enshrined in our Constitution.cropped-freedom-is-not-dictator-friendly.pngObama Muslim collection

It’s obvious that the White House, as of Monday, hasn’t backed off from this position.

The First Amendment, as it pertains to the press’ reporting and analyzing of events, provides, “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom … of the press….”

But over and above those rights that are guaranteed and protected under the Constitution, something else is at play here — something advanced by Ross Douthat in his Jan. 7 New York Times commentary:

“If a large enough group of someone is willing to kill you for saying something, then it’s something that almost certainly needs to be said, because otherwise the violent have veto power over liberal civilization, and when that scenario obtains it isn’t really a liberal civilization any more….”

Stated differently, when journalists back off of a story or sanitize its reporting and commentary of events out of fear of terrorist attacks, the terrorists have already won.

Will we ever learn? Obama White House can’t admit Paris attacks ‘Islamic terrorism’

They shouted in Arabic  “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Greatest) and “We are avenging the Prophet Mohammed” as they sprayed their victims with hundreds of bullets from their semi-automatic weapons.

Their “victims” were the top editorial cartoonists of the satirical Charlie Hebdo magazine, who had dared to practice their right of free speech.  Their offense?  Publishing cartoons deemed “offensive” by Muslim leaders around the world. The perpetrators? Islamic terrorists.

Yet in the immediate hours after the murders in Paris, the response from western leaders was scurrilously predictable in their refusal to describe the attack as an “Islamic terrorist attack.”

Phrasing the problem of “violent extremism,” as the Obama administration has done repeatedly, of being a problem exclusively of only Al Qaeda and now ISIS, is intellectually spurious and truly dangerous to our national security.Obama Muslim collection

Indeed, the responses from our own president, French President Hollande and British Prime Minster David Cameron all spouted the same empty pabulum in asserting that the Paris attack had nothing to do with Islam or any religion for that matter. But the hollow comments coming from our own leaders are steeped in the stench of appeasement and cowardice.com01

The first comments came from Josh Earnest, the White House spokesman, who refused to even call the massacre an act of terrorism, but made sure to add the now typical non-sequitor  which now routinely follows Islamic terrorist attacks,  that “Islam is a religion of peace” and therefore no should associate with the “extremists” in Paris with Islam.cause of deathmore evidence

Then President Obama issued his own statement, but in keeping with his administration’s 6 year old prohibition on using the term “Islamic terrorism,” he simply referred to the attack as “terrorism” — a vanilla term conspicuously devoid of any descriptive term explaining the motivation behind the attack. Thus, to the proverbial Martian it literally could have been eco-terrorism, white supremacist terrorism, or narco-terrorism.  (But admittedly, calling this an act of “terrorism” was a step up from the classification of Major Nidal Hassan’s similar massacre at Fort Hood as “workplace violence.”)  Obama Muslim collection

Then in live comments delivered later, both President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry gave blustery defenses of the U.S. determination to protect the right of free speech and vowed that neither the French nor anyone in the West would be cowed into silence by terrorism.

 Secretary Kerry said as follows:

“Today, tomorrow, in Paris, in France, or across the world, the freedom of expression that this magazine, no matter what your feelings were about it, the freedom of expression that it represented is not able to be killed by this kind of act of terror.” Nice words of bravado.Space Cadet

I hate to disabuse our secretary of state, but indeed  “freedom of expression” has indeed already been killed by acts of Islamic terrorism. Gibberish

Notwithstanding the secretary’s nice words of bravado today, the views in 2012 of the Obama administration on the very same French magazine were markedly differently “We are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the prophet Muhammad, and obviously we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this,” said Jay Carney, the White House spokesman. “We know these images will be deeply offensive to many and have the potential to be inflammatory.”Gibberish

The president himself, before the United Nations, revealed his own appeasement of Islamic terrorists and hoodlums when he declared in September 2012:

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”  Obama defending muslims Two

Where was his moral insistence that we would never give into terrorists who would employ violence to intimidate us in suppressing our right to free speech? Just imagine if, amidst the recent North Korean campaign to intimidate Sony into not showing its film that offended North Korea, the president had stated, “The future must not belong to those who slander Kim Jong-un.”

The issue we face is not, as Islamist groups falsely claim in the United States — ironically the very ones invited to the White House, Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and State Department — that using the term Islamic terrorism connotes a generalization that all Muslims are terrorists any more than using the term “Hispanic drug cartels” means that all Hispanics are druggies or that the term “Italian mafia” means that all Italians are mobsters or that the term “German Nazis” mean that all Germans were Nazis.

The term Islamic terrorism mean just that: terrorist attacks with an Islamic motivation — whether they attempts to silence critics of Islam, impose Sharia, punish Western “crusaders,” commit genocide of non-Muslims, establish Islamic supremacy (or Caliphate), or destroy any non Muslim peoples (e.g. the Jews and Christians) that are “occupying Muslim lands.”

And so in refusing to use the term Islamic terrorism, the administration and their multiculturalist western leaders go along with the patently false charade that Islamic terrorism simply does not exist. more evidence

This has profound national security implications not only for non-Muslims, but for Muslim victims of Islamic terrorism. If you cannot name your enemy, how can you expect to defeat him? In buying into the notion that uttering the term “radical Islam” is somehow racist, the real scandal here is that our administration and other Western leaders in general are in fact taking a page out of the playbook written by Muslim Brotherhood front groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).  Muslims in the White House Administration

Those groups, in turn, are ideological derivatives in the West of the Muslim Brotherhood which itself the parent of all Islamic Sunni terrorist groups—from Al Shabab to ISIS to Al Qaeada to Hamas. And in the West, those Muslim Brotherhood front groups have managed to perpetuate one of the biggest and most dangerous national security frauds of the past 30 years: that use of the term Islamic terrorism is tantamount to a racist generalization that all Muslims are terrorist.  And that any criticism of Islam means you are an Islamophobe. Four weeks ago, the United Arab Emirates, a distinctly observant Muslim country, had the courage to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and 83 other Islamist groups including CAIR in the U.S. as Islamic terrorist groups. And our reaction? To our everlasting shame, the Obama administration came to the defense of CAIR, which has been described as a front for Hamas by the FBI and was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist money laundering trial in U.S. history that resulted in the closure of the Holy Land Foundation and the conviction of its leaders for laundering money to Hamas.cause of death

Phrasing the problem of “violent extremism,” as the Obama administration has done repeatedly, of being a problem exclusively of only Al Qaeda and now ISIS, is intellectually spurious and truly dangerous to our national security. Most recently, in describing ISIS, the Obama administration has categorically defined the group as having “nothing to do with Islam.” It’s time for our leaders to stop this nonsense.  Islamic terrorism and extremism are brutal realities that have killed tens of thousands of people, mostly Muslims.  more evidence

Islamic extremism cannot be confined to groups we don’t like. Islamic extremism is now a movement, just like fascism and communism; it spans a spectrum from Hamas to Al Shabab to the Muslim Brotherhood. And to ignore the common denominator in the motivation behind 75% of the world’s annual terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists is a sure guarantee that Wednesday’s attacks will be repeated over and over again.

Will we ever learn?

MY OWN TWO CENTS

Islamist do not expect to take over America from the top down. They’re too smart for that. Instead they know to follow the examples of Adolph Hitler, Saul Alinsky and Cloward-Piven;

  1. Brainwash the children by getting the government run schools to teach how good Islam is and indoctrinate them away from patriotism.
  2. Scare the American people so much with terrorist attacks that they will willingly accept Sharia Law just to feel a false sense of being safe.
  3. Move so many of your own people into the country to stress the Welfare System, destroy the economy through entitlement programs, pay no taxes, and push for the total implementation of Sharia Law as the official law of the land.
  4. Remain patient. This won’t happen overnight.

Taking over America is then accomplished without firing a single shot. They have already expressed the same reluctance to take over America as Germany, Russia and Japan has in the past. They are very afraid of our Red-Neck brothers and sisters knowing how well armed they are. That is why they are pushing the U.N. to disarm America, and now that they have a President and Secretary of State that is enabling them to get further toward their ultimate goal, they have begun moving their people into America by the tens of thousands.

7 Other Lone Wolf Islamic Attacks Inside the U.S.

Obamacare

Imperial Islamic President ObamaOver the weekend, the FBI announced that it would treat Islamist Alton Nolan’s alleged beheading of Colleen Hufford, 54, as a case of workplace violence. That despite the fact that Nolan’s Facebook page contains a picture of Nolan giving the ISIS salute, multiple pictures of Osama Bin Laden, a screenshot of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, and a quote reading, “I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smile ye above their necks and smite all their fingertips off them.”

This, of course, is not the first time the federal government has labeled Islamic terrorism “workplace violence.” The Fort Hood shootings by avowed Islamist Nidal Hassan were classified thus by the federal government, as well. In fact, the Obama administration has repeatedly treated “lone wolf” Islamic terror inside the United States as though it were non-terrorist crime – unlike the Bush administration, which, for example, correctly labeled as terrorism Hesham Mohamed Hadayet’s attack on the El Al counter at Los Angeles International Airport in 2002 and the Beltway snipers’ multiple murders in that same year.

The Obama administration takes great pains never to label Islamic terror as such inside the United States; instead, we are told, we should focus disproportionately on the threat of right-wing groups like the Tea Party.

Meanwhile, Islamists inside the United States kill and maim and torture.

Here are seven other recent cases of lone wolf Islamic attacks inside the United States in recent years:

  • Yusuf Ibrahim. In April, 28-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim was indicted for two 2013 beheadings. He allegedly shot 25-year-old Hanny Tawadros and 27-year-old Amgad Konds, then cut off their heads and hands. The two were Egyptian Coptic Christian expatriates.
  • Faleh Hassan Almaleki. Almaleki killed his daughter, Noor Almaleki, 20, in a parking lot in Phoenix in 2009 after she became “too Westernized” and refused an arranged marriage. He also used his car to assault the mother of Noor’s boyfriend. Ahmed Rehab of the Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned the “domestic violence incident.”
  • Yaser Said. In 2008, Said allegedly murdered his two daughters after they began dating non-Muslims. He allegedly shot daughters Amina, 18, and Sarah, 17, on January 1, 2008 multiple times after luring them back home to visit their grandmother’s grave. Said is still at large.
  • Muzzammil Hassan. In 2009, Hassan cut his wife’s head off because she filed for divorce against him. He stabbed his wife, Aasiya, some 40 times and then proceeded to decapitate her. Ironically, Hassan founded Bridge TV in 2004, a station dedicated to fighting “the negative stereotype of Muslims post-9/11.”
  • Mohammed Taheri-azar: In 2006, Taheri-azar drove his car into a crowd at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in an attempt to kill Americans in supposed revenge for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. A letter he left for police read: “I live with the holy Koran as my constitution for right and wrong and definition of injustice… I’ve read all 114 chapters about 20 times since June of 2003 when I started reading the Koran. The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths and torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH March 3, was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic territories.”
  • Naveed Afzal Haq. Haq attacked the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle in 2006 with a gun, killing a woman and wounding five. According to the Seattle police, Haq said “he wanted the United States to leave Iraq, that his people were being mistreated and that the United States was harming his people. And he pointedly blamed the Jewish people for all of these problems. He stated he didn’t care if he lived.” Those who worked with Haq said he self-identified as a “Muslim-American… angry at Israel.”
  • Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad. Muhammad shot and killed an Army soldier at a Little Rock recruiting station in 2010. The feds didn’t charge him with terrorism; instead, state authorities charged him with murder. As the Los Angeles Times reports, after converting to Islam in Tennessee at age 20, he moved to Yemen, was arrested there, and then came back to the United States to attack the recruiting station. According to police, Mohammed stated he was “mad at the U.S. military because of what they had done to Muslims in the past,” and he wanted to “kill as many people in the Army as he could.” According to the perpetrator’s father, the feds didn’t charge Muhammad with terrorism because doing so would have shone a spotlight on their own incompetence: “They should have done their job and this never would have happened. I think that somebody in the federal government and the FBI should be charged with negligence. Negligent homicide.”

Undoubtedly, there are other cases. And the power of worldwide communication means that terror groups across the Middle East are actively recruiting inside the United States. What we saw in Oklahoma may be just the beginning – or rather, the continuation – of a trend, especially if the feds refuse to treat Islamic terrorism for what it is.America Needs toWake Up

AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!

Obamacare

http://www.justinshattuck.com/2006/09/11/september-11-remembering-email-i-received/

That’s what we think we heard on the 11th of September  2001 (When more than 3,000 Americans were killed -AD) and maybe it was, but I think it should have been “Get Out of Bed!” In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979 and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then.America Needs toWake Up

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world’s most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. Embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 25 years.

America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert. The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of America’s inability to deal with terrorism.

America’s military had been decimated and down sized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start.

Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued.

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.America Needs toWake Up

Then just six short months later in 1983 a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more.

Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives hits Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.

The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gate of the US Embassy in Beirut, and America slept.America Needs toWake Up

Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.

Then in August 1985 a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked.

Fifty-nine days later in 1985 a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in1988, killing 259.

Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war.

The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder.America Needs toWake Up

The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war?

The Snooze alarm is depressed again.America Needs toWake Up

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women. A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively.America Needs toWake Up

They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.

The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled alongside the ship and exploded,  killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.

And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are. America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep.America Needs toWake Up

In the news lately we have seen lots of finger-pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn’t know. But if you’ve read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don’t have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.

I think we have been in a war for the past 25 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough. America needs to “Get out of Bed” and act decisively now. America has been changed forever.. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said “… it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant.” This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world.Tree of Liberty 03

This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year. This is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.America Needs toWake Up

Can Someone Explain Something to Me?

Israel-defend-ciWhat Did You Say Logo

Today’s Politically INCOORECT Cartoon brought up a question I have had for a long time. “Why do the Liberal Left Press, as well as, the Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Liberal/Democrats (LMSLD) rush to defend Islam terrorists and their murderous ways?” I do not get it. It makes no sense to me why anyone would defend these haters of all that is not Islam? It is a farce to refer to them as a religion of peace, when every aspect of their history says just the opposite.

Israel:

  • Israel caves into worldwide pressure and GIVES Palestinian-Hamas (a division of Muslim Brotherhood) How coward terrorist fight number Two
    • the land,
    • hundreds of tons of concrete to build with,
    • new orchards ready for harvesting,
    • food to keep their children alive,
    • medical care they did not have or have to pay for,
    • and a wall to separate the two.
    • GAVE. GAVE. Got it yet? They GAVE it to them in order to have peace.
  • Hamas used the concrete to build reinforced concrete tunnels to give them illegal access into Israel in order to Kill and destroy as much of Israel as possible. Israel restrains themselves.
  • Hamas was the first to fire on Israel.
  • Israel restrains themselves by utilizing their “Iron Dome” defense system as far as long as possible.
  • Hamas deliberately demonstrates their complete lack of humanity and care for their children, women and elderly, by putting them in front of, and all around their military targets in order to be killed when Israel responds to their attacks by targeting ONLY military assets. Then they trot out the dead they care nothing about and lie to the Liberal Press that Israel deliberately targeted their children, women and elderly.

And the Liberal Press buys it, and then makes Israel out to be the bad guy. The only explanation I have is that they hate the Jewish people and Israel, and that Islam is the Liberal Presses executioner of people the LMSLD does not like, and in fact, hates. If anyone has any other explanation I would like to hear it.

The LMSLD Press always defends Islam terrorist organizations. The LMSLD always restrain themselves from saying anything bad about them. WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? When this has happened in the past with situations in the business world the first response is, “Who has picture of someone doing what they should have not been doing?” I don’t see that applying here.

If you have answers, I would like to heart them.

Jihadists organize tours in their Syria, Iraq ‘caliphate’

http://www.dawn.com/news/1121060/jihadists-organise-tours-in-their-syria-iraq-caliphate

By AFP

Published about 12 hours ago
- File photoBEIRUT: Known for kidnapping, public stonings, lashings and executions, the Iraq and Al Sham (ISIS) is now expanding into tourism, taking jihadists on honeymoon and civilians to visit other parts of its “caliphate”.

Running twice-weekly tours from Syria’s Raqa to Iraq’s Anbar, ISIS’s buses fly the group’s black flag and play jihadist songs throughout the journey.

One of the first clients was Chechen jihadist Abu Abdel Rahman al-Shishani, aged 26, who took his new Syrian wife on honeymoon, according to activist Hadi Salameh.

“Just after they got married, he took her to Anbar. These jihadists are very romantic,” Salameh joked.

But the two weren’t able to sit together, because “women sit in the back, and men at the front. The bus driver plays jihadist songs all through the ride, and the ISIS black flag flies over the bus. ISIS proclaimed a ‘caliphate’ last month straddling Iraq and Syria. According to a rebel from eastern Syria, the tours started operating immediately afterwards.

It firmly controls large swathes of northern and eastern Syria, the Iraq-Syria border, and parts of northern and western Iraq.

Salameh said the group’s tour buses “start their journey in Tal Abyad (on Syria’s Turkish border) and end in Iraq’s Anbar. You can get off wherever you want, and you don’t need a passport to cross the border. “The activist, who lives in Raqa and uses a pseudonym to avoid retribution from ISIS, told AFP via the Internet the company is for profit.

“Of course it’s not free. The price varies, depending on how far you go on the bus,” Salameh said.

Armed escorts;

Syrian rebel Abu Quteiba al-Okaidi, who is from the border province of Deir Ezzor, said most of those who use the buses are foreign jihadists.

“Most of them are foreigners. They communicate in English, and wear the Afghan-style clothing preferred by jihadists,” Okaidi told AFP by telephone.

“There is a translator on the bus, who explains to them where they are going. The men on the bus are not armed, but vehicles carrying armed escorts accompany the bus,” he added.

ConfusedISIS has its roots in Iraq, but spread into Syria in late spring last year.

It gradually took over Raqa city in northern Syria, and transformed it into its bastion.

In June, ISIS spearheaded a lightning offensive in Iraq that saw large swathes of the north and west of the country fall from Iraqi government hands.

Abu Ibrahim al-Raqawi, another activist living in Raqa city, said “tour buses run twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday. It works like any bus company would, except that it treats areas under ISIS control in Iraq and Syria as one state. “He also said the bus company is “popular” among those with relatives in Iraq.

“Many people living in this area (northern Syria through western Iraq) have tribal ties stretching across the border. So they use these buses to visit their families,” said Abu Ibrahim.

Speaking to AFP via the Internet, Abu Ibrahim also said others take the bus “to do business, while some just want to take a break from the shelling in Syria”.

Syria’s war began as a peaceful movement for democratic change, but was transformed into a war after Damascus unleashed a brutal crackdown on dissent.

Many months into the fighting, jihadists began streaming into Syria

Is Obama Allowing Illegals to Cross Our Southern Border an Encouragement of Domestic Attacks to Facilitate a Government Takeover?

http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/06/obama-allowing-illegals-cross-southern-border-encouragement-domestic-attacks-facilitate-government-takeover/#hqgOsBZ1ciOtyC3Z.99

Written by

By now, most of us on this side of the pen, or the display, or the microphone, have written or spoken of the Mexican-American border problem.

Click on image to see movie trailer and more

Click on image to see movie trailer and more

With thousands upon thousands of “children” crossing every week, it would seem that our southern border is wide open. Thanks to our president, the border patrol and other authorities are overwhelmed, leaving little if any manpower to patrol.

So, who else might be taking advantage of the Southern sieve? It certainly wouldn’t be Islamic terrorists, would it?

Now, we commentators have also written and spoken extensively of the Cloward and Piven strategy – a strategy to purposely overwhelm the system to the point of collapse. We have postulated that this is exactly what Obama is doing at our southern border.

Cloward Piven

I believe this to be true. But I also contend that this strategy may have dire consequences beyond just the illegal immigrant flood.

Already these illegals are being shipped all over the country to take up residence at military bases – Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, California, and even Massachusetts. And these are the ones that we know about. No doubt the list of states will grow as more and more enter.

With the border wide open, anyone can cross. Now is the perfect time for terrorists to arrive and set up cells across the country.

WSB news in Atlanta claims that at least 300 Somali terrorists from the al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabaab are already here, but their location is unknown. However, it is a fact that they are here.

Wake up America

As an aside: if a terrorist or group of terrorists crosses the border, will they get hassled or threatened by the drug cartels or traffickers. I wonder how that works. Does an Islamic leader from overseas call a Mexican drug lord and alert him that Mohammed al-Mustafa al-Bakiri al-Mohammed is heading your way and to steer clear or assist his passage? Maybe the Imam from an Islamic mosque in this country puts the word out. Maybe the Muslim Brotherhood, like UPS, loves logistics.

Obama defending muslimsThe next logical question to ask is; does the Obama administration know that this must be happening – that with the flood of “innocent children” there will be Islamists, bent on our destruction?

But, you may ask, “They’re only children, what could they do?”

The direct answer is nothing, but let’s not be naïve and assume the adults are being turned away.

So is Obama stupid enough to think that only “innocents” are crossing, or does he just not care?

And now for a little conspiracy fun.

Is Obama purposely allowing terror cells to form in the United States? Could it be that the destruction of capitalism and reformation into a state-controlled society is just not happening fast enough? Are they encouraging domestic strikes as a better/quicker way to facilitate a government takeover?

Is the ultimate goal martial law, temporary government control of everything and everyone? Of course, it would be temporary just long enough for most citizens to get used to the “new normal,” and then some form would become permanent.

Now look at where I’ve gone with this simple immigration rant. I’ve taken it from “dreamer” children to adults, to terrorists crossing the border, to them forming terror cells throughout the country, to domestic attacks, to temporary martial law, to permanent martial law.

3

Okay, I’ve completely lost my mind, and I’m partly kidding – partly – but just 10 years ago, would you believe we’d have a president who fancies himself a dictator – one who gets away with picking and choosing which laws to follow, or making up his own?

Would you believe that in America, what is currently happening at the border could actually occur?

As Obama continues to push the dictatorial envelope, maybe we should stop discounting anything as being beyond the pale

How the Taliban got their hands on modern US missiles

http://nypost.com/2014/06/08/how-the-taliban-got-their-hands-on-modern-us-missiles/

By Kenneth R. Timmerman

June 8, 2014 | 3:55am

In his new book, “Dark Forces: The Truth About What Happened in Benghazi” (Broadside Books), writer Kenneth R. Timmerman explains how the US government’s efforts to arm the Libyan rebels backfired, flooding weapons into Syria, and as he reveals here, Afghanistan:

The Obama administration isn’t only giving the Taliban back its commanders — it’s giving them weapons.

Miliary records and sources reveal that on July 25, 2012, Taliban fighters in Kunar province successfully targeted a US Army CH-47 helicopter with a new generation Stinger missile.

They thought they had a surefire kill. But instead of bursting into flames, the Chinook just disappeared into the darkness as the American pilot recovered control of the aircraft and brought it to the ground in a hard landing.

The assault team jumped out the open doors and ran clear in case it exploded. Less than 30 seconds later, the Taliban gunner and his comrade erupted into flames as an American gunship overhead locked onto their position and opened fire.

The next day, an explosive ordnance disposal team arrived to pick through the wreckage and found unexploded pieces of a missile casing that could only belong to a Stinger missile.

Lodged in the right nacelle, they found one fragment that contained an entire serial number.

The investigation took time. Arms were twisted, noses put out of joint. But when the results came back, they were stunning: The Stinger tracked back to a lot that had been signed out by the CIA recently, not during the anti-Soviet jihad.

Reports of the Stinger reached the highest echelons of the US command in Afghanistan and became a source of intense speculation, but no action.

Everyone knew the war was winding down. Revealing that the Taliban had US-made Stingers risked demoralizing coalition troops. Because there were no coalition casualties, government officials made no public announcement of the attack.

My sources in the US Special Operations community believe the Stinger fired against the Chinook was part of the same lot the CIA turned over to the Qataris in early 2011, weapons Hillary Rodham Clinton’s State Department intended for anti-Khadafy forces in Libya.

“And she wants to be PRESIDENT!?!?!?!?!” JB

They believe the Qataris delivered between 50 and 60 of those same Stingers to the Taliban in early 2012, and an additional 200 SA-24 Igla-S surface-to-air missiles.

Qatar now is expected to hold five Taliban commanders released from Guantanamo for a year before allowing them to go to Afghanistan.

But if we can’t trust the Qataris not to give our weapons to the Taliban, how can we trust them with this?

Al-Qaeda: ‘Spreading Like Wildfire’

Last week, a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee held a hearing provocatively titled “Is Al-Qaeda Winning?” The answers that the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade received were profoundly unsettling.

Former Senator Joseph Lieberman (I–Conn.) testified that Syria had become a key focal point of al-Qaeda’s efforts. He noted that there are more foreign militants fighting in Syria today than in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over the past 10 years:  “Put very bluntly, Syria has become the most dangerous terrorist sanctuary in the world today—and the United States has not coherent or credible policy for dealing with it.”

Frederick Kagan, director of the critical threats project at the American Enterprise Institute, warned that the Obama Administration has underestimated the threat posed by al-Qaeda’s ideology, which has inspired a global insurgency. He assessed that al-Qaeda’s “brand is spreading like wildfire, the groups affiliating themselves with it control more fighters, land and wealth than they ever have, and they are opening up new fronts.”

Dear Mr President

Heritage Foundation analysts long have warned about the more permissive environment that al-Qaeda and other Islamist extremist groups have exploited in many countries destabilized by the “Arab Spring” uprisings.  Syria, in particular, has been a magnet for foreign militants and a rich recruiting ground for al-Qaeda.

Al-Qaeda has made a comeback in Iraq, and gained followers in Egypt, Libya, Mali, East Africa, and Yemen

The chief takeaway from the hearing was that the Obama Administration needs to focus more on the revolutionary threat posed by al-Qaeda and its affiliates in the Middle East and Africa. Furthermore, the administration should alter its narrow definition of the al-Qaeda threat, which it currently holds as the immediate terrorist threat posed by the al-Qaeda core group based in Pakistan.

Ron Paul: Syria Intervention Would be “Reckless and Immoral” – The Last Resistance

by

It’s striking how much the media control people’s political opinions without people realizing it. Just a few years ago, only an “isolationist” would be opposed to U.S. military intervention in a foreign country for the sole purpose of “humanitarianism.”

Way back in 2007, this is one of the very few interviews Sean Hannity did with Ron Paul. This particular exchange took place after one of the presidential debates:

Hannity: Are you saying then that the world has no moral obligation, like in the first Gulf War, when an innocent country’s being pillaged, and people are being raped and murdered and slaughtered, or in the case of Saddam, he’s gassing his own people, are you suggesting we have no moral obligation there? Do you stand by and let that immorality happen?

Paul: We have, on numerous occasions.

Hannity: You support that?

Paul: We have, on numerous occasions. If we feel strongly about it, why don’t we declare war —

Hannity: If a woman’s being raped do you stand by and do nothing there either?

Alan Colmes: We’re almost out of time, but the fact is the Reagan administration stood by while the Kurds were being gassed, it happened in 1988, we didn’t do anything —

Hannity: We didn’t do anything about it, for how many years?

Paul: And what did we do with Pol Pot, what did we do with Moscow, what did we do at the time? We stood by while they did it to their people.

Hannity: We got it, Ron, you would stand by and do that, I would not.

Paul: No, you —

Hannity: I think that’s immoral.

Hannity’s of course singing a much different tune nowadays, since being opposed to unconstitutional military interventions is kind of “cool” now. But Ron Paul was opposed to such interventions long before it was cool, and he’s remained steadfast for decades in his opposition.

A couple days ago, on his Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity website, he wrote that intervening in Syria would be a reckless and immoral use of the military:

“President Obama announced this weekend that he has decided to use military force against Syria and would seek authorization from Congress when it returned from its August break. Every Member ought to vote against this reckless and immoral use of the US military. But even if every single Member and Senator votes for another war, it will not make this terrible idea any better because some sort of nod is given to the Constitution along the way. Besides, the president made it clear that Congressional authorization is superfluous, asserting falsely that he has the authority to act on his own with or without Congress. That Congress allows itself to be treated as window dressing by the imperial president is just astonishing. The President on Saturday claimed that the alleged chemical attack in Syria on August 21 presented ‘a serious danger to our national security.’ I disagree with the idea that every conflict, every dictator, and every insurgency everywhere in the world is somehow critical to our national security. That is the thinking of an empire, not a republic. It is the kind of thinking that this president shares with his predecessor, and it is bankrupting us and destroying our liberties here at home.”

He hasn’t changed one bit. But people’s foreign policy views change depending on what their media channel of choice is feeding them. And the media narratives are written depending on which party holds the White House.

If Bush had decided to attack Syria because the leader was gassing his own people, then conservatives, fed by Fox News, would be all for it; and the liberals, fed by all the other networks, would be denouncing it.

I’m glad that conservatives are coming out in opposition to a war with Syria. What concerns me is that people don’t have any discernment, and that they’ll believe whatever their favorite media network tells them.

What if a Republican becomes president next, and he’s no better than Obama when it comes to foreign policy or the preservation of the 2nd and 4th Amendments (and all the rest) here at home? Will conservatives see through the propaganda that will most certainly be used by the media to sell tyranny to us? They’ll use the same excuses of “security and safety.” And I fear that most people who identify themselves as conservatives will swallow it, hook, line and sinker.

The sooner people get away from this phony “republican vs. democrat” dichotomy, the better off we’ll all be. We should be electing people who want to do the right thing, not the “Republican” thing. Think Rand Paul, Ted Cruz or Justin Amash. Sure, they’re Republicans. But to them, party affiliation is secondary to the Constitution.

My 2 Cents – Jerry Broussard

  • Who decided that the United States of America is the world’s police?
  • If we are going to come to the rescue of a people, what didn’t we go to the aid of the Christians in the Sudan?
  • The evidence is confirmed many times that those responsible for the gas attack was the accidental mishandling of the chemical weapons give to the Syrian rebels by Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia, who also was instrumental in confirming the false evidence of Saddam Hussein‘s weapons of mass destruction? Why can’t we see that Saudi Arabia is culpable in the entire mess in the Mid East?
  • The Obama Administration is buying into the same lies the were fed to the Bush Administration. Why aren’t we acknowledging that fact? What does Saudi Arabia have on our government that they always end up with “clean-hands”?
  • Fact: Russia, China and others have stated that they will defend Syria and will retaliate if America uses any military force against the Assad regime. That will cause a larger war American Military is NOT prepared to fight because the Obama Administration has decimated our military.
  • Fact: The only winner is such a conflict would be Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea and China.
  • Fact: We cannot afford another war.
  • Fact: 2014 Mid Term Elections are growing in importance every day.
  • Fact: America is in desperate need of a Spiritual revival that will change the spirits, hearts and minds of the people of the United States to use what means are moral and necessary to rid our country of the evil that has such a death-grip on our Federal, State and Local governments.

$100 million mega-mosque coming to this state

‘We will show our friends in the U.S. who we actually are’

Turkey’s Islamist government is constructing a massive $100 million, 15-acre mosque in Lanham, Md., that is expected to “become the largest and most striking example of Islamic architecture in the Western hemisphere” by October 2014.

In May, Turkey Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan placed a ceremonial stone at the construction site. Now the five-building project known as the Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center is well underway in the town just outside Washington, D.C., with a population of about 10,000.

As the Clarion Project explains, mosques have been springing up all over the U.S. in recent years. As many as 80 percent of the mosques in America have been built in the last 12 years – since the 2001 terror attacks.

“A large majority of mosques in the United States are led by Wahhabi clerics,” the Project explains. “Wahhabism is an extreme brand of Islam practiced dominantly in Saudi Arabia. According to Muslim estimates, up to 80 percent of mosques in the U.S. are owned, operated and led by Wahhabis.

“These radical mosques often promote the installation of Sharia law, an extreme ideology that considers ‘non-believers’ to be infidels. According to Wahhabis, jihad or support of jihad is a Muslim duty. They believe that suicide bombers and martyrs are worthy of the highest praise and reward. And radicals are anticipating the day when an Islamic state will one day span the U.S.”

How can you defend America against Islamic supremacist encroachment? In “Stop the Islamization of America,” renowned activist Pamela Geller provides the answer, offering proven, practical guidance on how freedom lovers can stop jihadist initiatives in local communities.

As many as four studies have independently concluded that 80 percent of U.S. mosques “were teaching jihad, Islamic supremacism, and hatred and contempt for Jews and Christians,” Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch has reported.

Spencer noted, “We are increasingly seeing Muslim patrols in the proximity of mosques saying to passers-by that they can’t walk a dog, wear a skirt, drink alcohol.”

But Dr. Yasar Colak, president of the Turkish American Community Center, told the World Bulletin his organization has special plans for the new mega-mosque, which will be designed in accordance with 16th century Ottoman architecture:

“We will show our friends in the U.S. who we actually are and the main principle of our civilization,” he said. “We will present our peaceful culture. We will try to erase the bad reputation of Muslims and Islam created following September 11 attacks.”

In 2009, WND was one of the first to report plans for a new Islamic mosque just steps from Ground Zero where Muslim terrorists murdered 2,751 people in the name of Allah on Sept. 11, 2001. The New York Daily News recently reported the same developer now “controls three adjacent properties on Park Place, leaving neighbors wondering whether the mysterious owner has a mega mosque planned for the block.”

According to the Assembly of Turkish American Associations, the Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center will include facilities for activities relating to:

  • Religious services and education
  • Turkish language education
  • Turkish history lectures
  • Turkish culinary arts classes
  • Cultural exchange
  • Recreation, sports, and health
  • U.S. immigration and citizenship
  • Women’s equality and empowerment education
  • Civic engagement and public advocacy
  • Business, commerce and trade development
  • Spiritual wellness

“There are 19 [Turkish American Community Centers] nationwide,” the Assembly states. ”TACCs represent a board spectrum of Turkish American society, promoting secular democracy and respect towards diverse lifestyles.”

As the Clarion Project reported, the Turkish mosque groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the leaders of two U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entities: Naeem Baig, president of the Islamic Circle of North America, and Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America. A 1991 memo links both organizations to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. Page 7 of the memo states that the Brotherhood’s “work in America” is “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

Also in May, President Obama welcomed Erdogan, who has been a constant advocate for Hamas in Gaza, to the White House. Erdogan brought with him Mavi Marmara, the father of an Islamic jihadist killed in the 2010 raid on a Gaza flotilla. Marmara has indicated he wants the Obama administration to sue Israel over the raid.

Erdogan has said, “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.”

At the May ceremony for the new mosque, he warned of groups promoting “Islamophobia,” and just one month earlier, he called Zionism and “Islamophobia” “crime[s] against humanity.”

Judicial Watch noted, “During the recent visit to the mosque construction site in Maryland, Erdogan’s deputy prime minister, Bülent Arınç, slipped away from the delegation for a day, according to a newspaper that covers Turkish affairs abroad. Arınç reportedly visited an ‘Islamic scholar’ who lives in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania.”

Americans overwhelmingly opposed the Ground Zero mosque, but why was it being built in the first place? WND’s Molotov Mitchell explores what’s really going on in his exclusive in-depth, investigative documentary, “The Mosque.”

British planning lawyer Gavin Boby, an expert on zoning permissions who has successfully blocked the construction of more than 16 mosques in the U.K., explained that the significance of mosques extends far beyond religious purposes:

This is the Islamic doctrine, every mosque is instructed to be based upon the original mosque in Medina, where Muhammad originally in the 7th century set up his religious-political doctrine of social control, and the mosque is a place of government, it is a place where treaties are made, death sentences are passed, armies are blessed and dispatched, it is primarily about political control and it is very much used as a tool of advance. Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey talked about that, the Muslim Brotherhood compared their mosques to battalions and to beehives, where Muslims will gather and then advance, and there’s nothing new about this, it goes back to the 7th century.

In his 2010 exclusive WND column, William Federer, author of “What Every American Needs to Know About the Quran: A History of Islam and the United States,” listed dozens of historical cases in which mosques were erected as signs of Muslim conquest.

In 630 A.D. after he captured Mecca, Muhammad himself converted the Ka’aba, a pagan pantheon, into a mosque.

Boby, who runs the Law and freedom Foundation, also explained that the word “mosque” is strategically omitted during the application process:

“The method is very simple,” he said. “A planning application gets submitted for a mosque in an area, and it will never be called a ‘mosque.’ It will be called a community center; an inter-faith center; a public community, harmony-building outreach center, and then the neighbors contact us, and it’s usually people who have never been involved in politics before, are shy of politics and officialdom and ask us to help them to resist it.”

MUSLIM THUGS THROW ACID ON MOM WITH TWINS, NEWS DOESN’T MENTION THEY’RE MUSLIM

A gang who laughed as they doused a woman in acid while she walked her six-year-old twins home from school have been jailed for a total of 44 years.

The attackers were heard laughing as the noxious liquid was sprayed at the screaming mother in front of her two boys outside Upton Cross Primary School in Upton Park, east London.

Speaking after the attack the woman, who suffered horrendous burns to her face and body, said: ‘I saw a man approach me who was carrying something in a bottle.

‘He threw it over me and after a few seconds it started burning. I was crying: “Please help me! Please help me!”‘

It is thought Yannick Ntesa, 25, sprayed the acid and made his getaway in a red BMW with Abdul Motin, 28, and 31-year-old Ahad Miah.

The 44-year-old mother, from Plaistow, fled to a neighbour’s home where water was poured over her burning clothes.

Some of the acid burnt her son’s satchel while another mother also suffered minor injuries in the attack on March 24, 2011.

The victim was rushed to the Royal London Hospital and later transferred to a specialist burns unit in Chelmsford, Essex.

URGENT NEWS ALERT: Obama Commits to Signing UN Arms Trade Treaty While Congress at Summer Recess

The number one goal of the United Nations is to become the political entity that rules all nations or in other words, the one world government.  To accomplish that goal, they have to continue to exert their authority and power over individual countries and they have been quite successful at doing this in recent years.

One of the key pieces of international law that needs to be in place before the UN can take over the world is to control all weapons, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, semi-automatic and automatic weapons and ammunition.  Over the past few years, the UN has been pushing one treaty that will help to accomplish that goal.  It is the UN Arms Trade Treaty.

The UN Arms Trade Treaty is a treaty that would regulate the international sale and transfer of all conventional weapons throughout the world.  Conventional weapons are sea and land mines, rockets, missiles, cluster munitions, non-nuclear bombs, shells, small arms and light weapons.  By small arms, they mean handguns, rifles and shotguns of all kinds, regardless of their use or design.

A number of Second Amendment supporters and gun rights advocates believe that this treaty could be used to further regulate guns in the US and infringe on the rights of Americans to bear arms.  One hundred and thirty members of Congress jointly signed a letter to President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, insisting that they reject the UN Arms Trade Treaty, saying:

“As your review of the treaty continues, we strongly encourage your administration to recognize its textual, inherent and procedural flaws, to uphold our country’s constitutional protections of civilian firearms ownership, and to defend the sovereignty of the United States, and thus to decide not to sign this treaty.”

However, Kerry released a statement about the treaty, saying:

“We look forward to signing it as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily.  [The treaty is] an important contribution to efforts to stem the illicit trade in conventional weapons, which fuels conflict, empowers violent extremists, and contributes to violations of human rights.”

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has indicated that President Obama intends to sign the treaty by the end of August.  Speaking on behalf of Obama, Carney said:

“We believe it’s in the interest of the United States.  While we look forward to signing the treaty, there are remaining translation issues that need to be resolved.”

Notice that the time frame that Obama has given for his signature of the UN Arms Trade Treat just happens to coincide with Congress’s summer recess, which makes me wonder if he is going to try to pull something like a recess appointment to push it through without congressional approval.  But legally, he can’t because in order for an international treaty of any kind to become binding to the United States, it must be passed by a two-thirds majority vote of the Senate.  At this time, it does not appear that there is enough support in the Senate to muster up 67 out of 100 votes.

Ratified or not, it’s clear that the Democratic Party continues to do their part in turning over US sovereignty to a radically liberal organization that is against everything America stands for.  The UN is against capitalism and the American way of government.  They have been actively undermining the Christian religion, traditional family values, parental authority and free speech.  The UN passed a massive hate crimes bill that makes any form of language against homosexuality to be a hate crime.  Preaching the Bible is a hate crime according to the UN.

So is it any wonder that Kerry and Obama want to just join the UN efforts to undermine and destroy America?  I, for one, believe that the United Nations is a terrorist organization that is actively trying to overthrow the US and subvert our way of life.  They need to be kicked out of our country.  Let them build a towering office building in a nation that really cares.  Leaving the UN would also save us hundreds of billions of dollars that could go a long way to putting American back on our financial feet.

US Ready To Enter Negotiations With Taliban?

by

Joyce Brothers said: “Trust your hunches. They’re usually based on facts filed away just below the conscious level.”

Unquestionably, there is merit in trust. Having trust in other people is a basic and necessary part of life. Without trust, we would remain isolated; never able to form relationships with other people. However, just as important as holding trust in someone else, is holding trust in yourself; in your own instincts. In politics, sometimes, trusting your own instincts is all you have.

There are certainly those in the world with whom you should not deal, or negotiate. There is a basic understanding—at least I have a basic understanding—that one should not trust someone who has not proven worthy of trust. Simple, right? Apparently not. According to breitbart.com, the United States, in conjunction with Afghanistan, is prepared to enter negotiations with the Taliban. Yes, you read that correctly…negotiating with the TALIBAN.

Taliban Spokesman Mohammad Naim has announced that the Taliban will not accept the use of Afghan soil as a base for military operations, and supports negotiations. The Obama administration stated that US representatives will start bilateral negotiations with the Taliban…Marine General Joseph Dunford, the top US commander in Afghanistan, also celebrated the beginning of talks: ‘My perspective has always been that this war is going to have to end with political reconciliation and so I frankly would be supportive of any positive movement in terms of reconciliation…that would bring reconciliation between the afghan people and the Taliban.’

So, a terrorist organization is suddenly—with seemingly abundant enthusiasm–willing to enter “peace talks?” Something doesn’t smell right. Actually, that’s generous. This is totally bogus. This is the same organization that called the Karzai administration “stooges” of the West.

I can’t ask much beyond these basic questions: Why would anyone enter negotiations with the Taliban? More than that, why would the Taliban suddenly decide that now is the time to negotiate?

No answer?

An ideologically-driven group of people, a people who want nothing more than to exterminate those who don’t agree with them, cannot be negotiated with. Is it just me, or is this not absolutely, hands down crazy?

However, the part that baffles me the most is the willingness on the part of Afghanistan and the US to deal with these maniacs. Do they actually believe that the Taliban can be trusted; or is this a small move in a much larger game? Is it a fake out?

I am trusting my instincts, and leaning toward the belief that this is a chess move in a much larger game. But I wonder; in the end, which side is actually benefitting? Is this move worth the risk of legitimizing psychopaths? I say no.

Obama’s America No Longer Fights Terrorists; We Just Join Them

by

Syria, a Shiite Muslim state sponsor of global terror, is engaged in a manufactured civil war. Ironically, Syria’s enemy in this civil war is another Muslim sect widely known for sponsoring terrorism, Sunni Islam. Given Obama’s recent decision to involve the United States—in unspecified ways—in this very Muslim problem, I have to wonder: Why does America care?

Lost in the conversation taking place over US military involvement in this Syrian crisis, is the cause of the current conflict: Hunger and the threat of starvation.

Before Obama‘s election in 2008, the seeds of the Syrian conflict had already been sown. After experiencing the worst draught in 100 years, Syrian food independence—a promise fulfilled by the former brutal Shiite ruler and father of Syria’s current President Bashar al-Assad—was in ruins. What once was a thriving state sponsored farming economy was in deep trouble. Farming jobs evaporated and historic food shortages caused the nation to split, leaving the Assad loyal Shiites controlling food and water supplies and the Sunni population left to pound sand.

I do not remember President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, or then UN Ambassador Susan Rice calling for the world community and Syria’s wealthy Gulf neighbors to provide food shipments to quell this reasonable uprising when it began. No, they let it fester and the Saudis were granted an opportunity to influence a covert regime change favoring the Saudi financed Sunni al-Nussra Front rebels.

Now it appears that Assad may have taken extraordinarily brutal steps to defeat the Saudi backed overthrow of his government—allegedly using Sarin gas and his stockpiled weapons of mass destruction against rebel forces and a rioting Syrian people. Given Saudi Arabia’s past involvement and desire for a Sunni rebel victory, shouldn’t Saudi Arabia be sending troops or weapons to back the al Nussra Front in its efforts to defeat Assad and remove him from power? Why does it require American military involvement?

Iran and Hezbollah are culpable in this enduring conflict. However, the Saudis are the real catalyst fomenting the Syrian civil war.

Now America, under Obama’s leadership, will be supplying weapons and intelligence to a Saudi funded Sunni Islamist terrorist groups fighting for the installation of a different radical Islamist government in Syria. Although it is not yet official, there is also a real possibility that American troops may take part in the efforts to aid Sunni rebels in their fight.

Does anyone think that changing the Shiite Islamist government to one of Sunni Islamist rule will prevent or tolerate civil unrest the next time Syria’s water supply dries up? Will this lead to a revolutionary respect for human rights and religious freedom for all men and women regardless of their faith? Will the overthrow of the Assad regime, and the installation of an al-Qaeda affiliated government—that worships an ideology demanding all Muslim nations be ruled by strict Islamic law—lead to a crackdown on radical Islamist terror?

The Obama White House has suggested that al-Qaeda affiliated Syrian rebels will be more fair and caring to all Syrians. Remember, these are the rebels who recently forced a 14-year-old boy’s parents to watch his public execution for blaspheming Mohammed. His crime, uttering this phrase:” Even if Mohammed comes back to life, I won’t.” These are the so-called freedom fighters our President wishes to support.

Perhaps our cold war enemy Russia has reasonable justification for buttressing the Assad Presidency enduring a Saudi proxy war. Russia has more to protect than a Mediterranean naval base and a military customer. Russia’s support for Assad appears to reveal a reasonable fear of an enemy it shares with America.

A notorious incursion of Sunni Islam has been taking place in Russia for decades. Sunni Islamists—like the ones that carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks on America—have been the principal source of the spread of radical Islam in Russia. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has a well-known disdain and justified intolerance for Sunni extremism, He has stated publicly that his ally in Syria is fighting against a threat similar to that his nation experienced in Chechnya. I might be inclined to agree.

So once again, why are our President and Senators John McCain and Lindsay Graham so supportive of a brutal Sunni Islamist rebel victory over a brutal Shiite Islamist government? Do they really believe that this is a good foreign policy decision for America? Will handing over Assad’s stockpiles of WMD’s to a radical Islamist terror organization make Americans safer?

Sounds to me like the Presidents claims of ending the war on terror are pure bunk. Providing weapons and support to so-called Syrian rebels will only make our Sunni terrorist enemies stronger while growing Shiite Islam’s hatred of the West. The United States is now responsible for every civilian death, Shiite mosque destroyed, and every miscarriage of Sharia justice in this Muslim conflict. Somehow, Israel will also be faulted and one day these Islamists will ban together against America and turn our weapons against our sons and daughters fighting a war started by Saudi Arabia.

Let them kill each other. We should have bombed the radicalism out of Saudi Arabia on September 12, 2001. Russia would not have said a word and our military spared thousands of deaths and tens of thousands of wounded. Instead, our government caters to them, risks more lives, and puts America further in debt while the Gods of Gulf oil laugh at us.

The overwhelming majority of Americans oppose US involvement in this Saudi funded Muslim mess. So why doesn’t Obama?

What do you think of that Barry?

Teen Attempts To Join Al-Qaeda – Gets Home Confinement

chi-fbi-aurora-man-wanted-to-join-al-qaida-in--001

In what has to be one of the most bizarre things I’ve heard, a federal judge ordered terrorists suspect Abdella Ahmad Tounisi, 18, to be released to home confinement while he awaits trial on charged that he signed up to fight in Syria for a terrorist group tied to Al-Qaeda.

The U.S. attorney’s office appealed the decision which put a hold on the release. Another judge is to consider Tounisi’s bail today.

Federal prosecutors said that he was a flight risk and a danger to the community. He was arrested April 19 at O’Hare International Airport.

The Chicago Tribune reports,

Prosecutors allege that Tounisi posted messages on a phony website set up by the FBI agreeing to travel to Syria to fight with the Al-Nusra Front militant group. According to authorities, Tounisi has links to a second Chicago-area terrorism suspect, Adel Daoud, who was arrested in September after he tried to set off what he thought was a bomb outside a downtown bar. The two were close friends and plotted the bomb attack together, prosecutors allege, but Tounisi backed out when he suspected law enforcement was on to them.

In ordering Tounisi’s release, U.S. Magistrate Judge Daniel Martin repeatedly called the decision a “close, close” call but said that pretrial detention is intended to be an “exceptional step.” Martin also said he was convinced in part by a courtroom packed with family members and leaders from Tounisi’s religious community. The judge also cited Tounisi’s lack of criminal background.

Martin’s voice shifted to a stern tone as he directly addressed Tounisi, warning him not to break any of the rules he had set for his release. Martin acknowledged the rare opportunity he was giving him, noting the seriousness of the charges and the allegations that Tounisi intended to harm people here and abroad.

Judge Martin names the boy’s father as his custodian and wanted to make sure that he followed the court’s orders. I’m guessing someone had not thought all of this out, seeing that the boy was ready to fly to Syria and join a terrorist group. Did anyone think to see if the father approved?

While Tounisi’s attorney, Molly Armour, denied he was a flight risk, saying that neither he nor his family had the resources to help him flee Chicago, and that he had already tendered his passport, that doesn’t exactly seem like a problem for someone with connections to terrorist groups does it? Those organizations have tremendous resources.

Armour said Tounisi had about 30 supporters that had pooled their resources to come up with $1,200 for bail.

Remember that part I asked above about the father? Well low and behold, Assistant U.S. Attorney William Ridgway argued that the evidence indicated that not one of the adult’s in Tounisi’s life could dissuade him from engaging in violent jihad, including his father.

In fact, one family member recalled how Tounisi, even though he hoped to die a martyr in Syria, was told he would not.

According to Ridgway, the relative told Tounisi, “You will die like roadkill.”

“One would have hoped this chapter would have ended,” said Ridgway. “It didn’t.”

His resources were exposed by Ridgway as well. Despite the lack of finances, he was able to purchase an $850 plane ticket to Turkey to meet the handler that would help him cross the border into Syria.

Perhaps it’s time this judge was relieved of his position for making incompetent decisions such as this, but then again, it is Chicago.

Still Think Islam Is A Religion Of Peace? – You Won’t After Seeing This

david wood

While many in the media, including Fox News, CNN, the Washington Post and others, including politicians like Barack Hussein Obama and Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) continue to promote the lie that Islam is a “peaceful religion,” Freedom Outpost is allowing David Wood of “Answering Muslims” to respond to their claims from the Qur’an, in context, to demonstrate the lie that is being perpetrated on the American people the Islam is a religion of peace. Many of my own friends think Islam is harmless, but the reality of the Koran’s teaching tells us something very different. If you have any doubts that Islam is not a peaceful religion, this short video clip should convince any thinking person to reconsider an evaluation of Islam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-SoXs-0_rHY

Here’s one of David’s tweets to WhyIslam following the Boston Marathon bombing. David is calling into question the out right lying and deceptive practices of those in Islam in only revealing what they want to and then twisting even what they reveal to further their cause of jihad.

Wood puts in context the verse often cited by politicians and media pundits to affirm Islam is peaceful. They claim:

Qur’an 5:32 – For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.

This is cited “to the children of Israel,” not to Muslims. In fact, it is taken from the Mishnah Sanhedrin, which reads, “Adam was created alone to teach you that if anyone destroys one life, Scripture reckons it as if he had destroyed a whole world; conversely, if anyone preserves on life, Scripture reckons it as if he had preserved a whole world.”

However, Muslims like Rep. Keith Ellison does not want to expose what is commanded of Muslims. He calls for context. So, Wood gives him context and here is what is in the very next verse, which is not about Israel, but about Muslims.

Qur’an 5:33 – The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement.

You see my friends Islam quotes out of context the verse and applies something meant for Israel to themselves, but they never tell you what they are commanded to do and why.

Thank you David Wood for making this point! Absolutely brilliant!

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chechen Jihadists and the Dangerous Lies of the Liberal Media

By / http://girlsjustwannahaveguns.com/2013/04/chechen-jihadists-and-the-dangerous-lies-of-the-liberal-media/

boston bombersLast week, I had a chance to speak with former Bush national security advisor, J.D. Crouch. He spoke about the War on Terror and said that former president George W. Bush wanted to take the war to the terrorists so that America would not have to become a police state to keep us secure.

We know how this turned out in the end, but this is a result of the enemy’s nature. They are not compartmentalized like soldiers on a battlefield. With Islam’s 1.8 billion world population, there is no way to know who is radicalized and who is not. In a just democratic melting pot, we do not know our enemies when we see them because profiling is an injustice according to progressive wisdom.

The media has not helped with this problem. Few media organizations want to discuss the fact that jihadists have been on a campaign to recruit naive American citizens to attack their own countries.

The liberal media was crawling all over this story hoping to be the first one to say that this was an attack caused by a white, disgruntled right wing conservative clinging to his guns and religion. It would have increased their dwindling ammo against the Right and this bomber would have become an example of how all of 2nd Amendment devotees were truly maniacs and dangerous to society. However, the truth is, it turned out to be the usual suspects, perhaps not usual as in Arab, but usual as in, Islamic terrorists.

So, are the two bombing “suspects” actually Islamic terrorists?

Let’s examine.

They hail from Chechnya, an Islamic nation that has recently sent fighters to join the Syrian wars. This nation is not far displaced from war and the two bombing suspects, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19 and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, are old enough to have seen much of it. During the 1990s there were two Chechen wars for independence against Russia, but since then there has been plenty of Islamic civil unrest.

Chechnya is a majority Sufi Islamic nation, but ultra-conservative Wahhabism has been gaining strength in recent years and sending a wave of violence and fear throughout Chechnya. Wahhabis believe in the literal interpretation of the Qur’an. The majority Wahhabi state of Saudi Arabia produced the 9/11 terrorists and Osama Bin Ladin. The Saudi government is also funding Wahhabi schools in the United States. This has been a concern of those following the issue, mainly because textbooks from the schools teach violent and racist Islamic doctrine.

Chechnya has been in a near constant state of strife for decades. The fact that two young Chechens could be influenced into fighting for jihad is not far fetched, it’s the most likely situation. Whether they were a part of the increasing Chechen Wahhabi problem or whether they were radicalized by the large influx of Islamic Afghan war veterans into Chechnya, there is no way they were anything but jihadists.

When is the Jihad over?

It would seem to many Americans that the jihadist movement has lulled, but the truth is in Europe there has been a dramatic increase in plots and attacks in the past two years. The U.S. media does not report this news.

This graph from StratFor shows that jihadist have actually stepped up their plots in Europe and have had several successful attacks on that front. Belgium police recently foiled a plot on March 26. The police discovered that the terrorist, Hakim Benladgem had a massive amount of arms and had to be apprehended away from his apartment to avoid a standoff like the deadly firefight that occurred in Toulouse, France when French police attempted to arrest Mohammed Merah.

Now that France is engaged in a war with Mali, it will increase radical ambitions. Though Americans have been keeping jihadists busy with a perpetual war, it has cost many American lives, destroyed morale at home and cost the United States nearly $1.5 trillion.

At the end of the day, the Boston Marathon bombers used crude materials, ones that people could get anywhere. With the immigration debate looming, perhaps we should consider what standards will be required to keep those types of people out of the country rather than banning pressure cookers. Hakim Benladgem, Mohammed Merah and the two Boston bombers were all foreigners to the lands they plotted against. Fully freezing immigration would be to our detriment, but there is probably a definite way to decrease accessibility to their targets, us.

Can Islamic Nations Really Be Our Friends?

When asked about the bombings in Boston, an Egyptian Islamic cleric had nothing but praise for the two men.

April 16, Tahir TV: “Obviously I do not know who carried out the bombings but if it was carried out by the mujahideen it serves as a message to the West: We are still alive, contrary to the message Americans want to send. They have not finished off the mujahideen. Not just the mujahideen of Al Qaeda, but the mujahideen all over the world.”

This cleric goes on to say that he wishes he could join his brothers in Al Qaeda. Here is the full video: <iframe width=”640″ height=”360″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/JrLsz-AIuzY?feature=player_embedded&#8221; frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen>

While I often use the term radical to distinguish violent Muslims from ones that are not actively engaged in war, when it comes to a majority Islamic nation, there is no such thing as radicalization. Either they are following Islamic principles that preach war against the West, Christians and Jews or they are not following Islamic principles. With the Arab Spring delivering whole nations over to Islamists, the threat of terrorism in our cities will only grow as we continue to treat these nations as friends and ignore everything they are doing behind the scenes. The very least we can do is stop letting them into our country.

Counter Terrorism Caucus Established In OK Against Threat Of Muslim Brotherhood

shariahIn a press release on Friday, Oklahoma State Representative John Bennett (R-Sallisaw) announced the formation of a bipartisan Counter terrorism Caucus in the Oklahoma Legislature.

Bennett, who chairs the caucus, said, “We believe that the time has come to address the potential terrorists threats facing the citizens of Oklahoma. Few people realize the nature and extent of the threats we face and our mission is to identify publicly those threats and come up with a strategy to defeat them.”

Bennett served with the Marine Corps in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Counter Terrorism and Intelligence Specialist. During his statement, he pointed out that the Counter terrorism Caucus came about as a result of a grassroots movement of citizens who were concerned about what was taking place in their state.

“We the people have spoken and we, their elected representatives, are listening,” said Bennett.

Bennett talked about the threat of Sharia law and cited United States vs. The Holy Land Foundation (2008), a federal district court case in Dallas that was the largest terrorism-financing trial in the history of the United States.

“We are concerned about the possibility of Muslim Brotherhood organizations operating here in Oklahoma whose stated goal is replace our Constitution with Shariah law,” Bennett stated.

Other speakers at the press conference included state Rep. Sally Kern, who is the sponsor of the American Laws for American Courts bill, and state Sen. Ralph Shortey, who sponsored a similar bill in the Senate.

The caucus will also focus on other areas of concern that were mentioned include environmental terrorism and the so-called “lone wolf” terrorists similar to those responsible for the 1995 Murrah Federal Building bombing.

Bennett also pointed out that former CIA Director James Woolsey spoke last year at the High Noon Club in support of the American Laws for American Courts bill and that LTG (Ret.) William “Jerry” Boykin, former commanding general of Delta Force. He also spoke at several other functions by grassroots organizations.

FreedomFighterRadio also informs, “More than 70% of Oklahoma’s citizens voted in favor of banning sharia law but it was the Muslim Brotherhood-linked CAIR – an unindicted co-conspirator to that Holy Land Foundation conviction – that fought in favor of sharia laws and a judge sided with the terror-linked Muslims.”

Good for Representative Bennett and those who support the caucus. I applaud the fact that citizens were concerned enough to voice their opinion about the threat of Sharia law in America.
