Protests against President Donald Trump’s administration have been cropping up nationwide. They appear to have two things in common — gray hair and a lack of energy. Are Americans supposed to believe these are organic? Or are they organized by left-wing groups to undermine Trump’s administration?
Now the answers to those questions are becoming clear. The “Hands Off” protests of April 5 and earlier anti-Tesla protests were supported by a coalition of powerful leftist groups, including The Indivisible Project, and organized through Mobilize America — which was initially founded as a Democrat PAC. Now leftist organizers are planning more demonstrations across America for the socialist holiday May Day.
The ‘Hands Off’ Protests
Leftists gathered in cities across America to protest Trump’s administration on April 5. As images of the events streamed in from across the web, something soon became clear — many of the protestors were elderly.

Whether disaffected boomers, one-time hippies, or former bureaucrats, these were people with extra time on their hands. This was not lost on far-left activists, who used Mobilize America — a “volunteer management platform and network that connects left-wing organizations, campaigns, and activists,” according to InfluenceWatch — to stage the Hands Off protests, apparently attempting to subvert confidence in the Trump administration.
Hands Off is tied to the Indivisible Project, which launched in 2016 to help leftists “Resisting the Trump Agenda,” according to InfluenceWatch. Indivisible is listed among Hands Off’s “partners,” and the group’s website directs users to various Hands Off materials. Hands Off directs “general inquiries” to an Indivisible.org email address. When The Federalist asked about this, Indivisible Project Chief Campaigns Officer Sarah Dohl said the address online was a “typo.”
“Hands Off is a campaign, not an organization,” according to Dohl. She called it a “broad coalition effort,” pointing to “nearly 200 partner organizations.” According to Dohl, Indivisible provided Hands Off participants with content, toolkits, and “digital infrastructure.”
“We were proud to help build the Hands Off website and provide early infrastructure to get the campaign off the ground,” Dohl said. “The site and campaign are now supported by many different groups, not just Indivisible.”
A host of leftist groups “partner[ed]” in the Hands Off protests, including the anti-religious freedom Human Rights Campaign, leftist League of Women Voters, far-left Our Revolution, radical environmentalist group Greenpeace, and anti-Trump Women’s March. Left-wing union giants AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers, National Education Association, Service Employees International Union, and United Auto Workers also supported the demonstrations.
Indivisible provided graphics and messaging to protestors, even suggesting wording for their signs and offering to reimburse groups up to $200 worth of expenses for each protest — though Dohl previously told The Daily Signal the group does “not pay protestors.”
An Indivisible document online guides demonstrators on “Tesla Town Halls,” specifically “how to plan a Tesla protest” and “executing your Tesla protest.” It listed grievances with Trump’s administration, including alleged “economic terrorism.”
“The idea of ‘Tesla Town Halls’ was one of several suggestions we offered as part of our early February congressional recess guidance — alongside more traditional options … ” Dohl said. As The New York Post reported, Indivisible also backed the “Musk or Us” protest during Congress’s March recess, encouraging the use of messages such as “Fire Elon Musk” and “GTFO Musk.”
Another main group behind the anti-Musk town hall protests was MoveOn, as The Washington Free Beacon reported. MoveOn is listed among the “partners” of the Hands Off protests.
Despite the burning Tesla graphic, Indivisible included a disclaimer in its document about a “commitment to nonviolent action.” The group recommended protesting “during business hours when foot traffic is high,” and focusing on “Tesla showrooms, factories, and dealerships.”
“Indivisible was not the central organizer of the Tesla day of action. … Some local groups chose to participate and did so peacefully,” Dohl said to The Federalist.
In the protest guidance document, Indivisible told anti-Tesla demonstrators to register their event with Mobilize America — the same group used to organize Tesla Takedown and Hands Off demonstrations. Dohl called Mobilize a “widely used events platform.”
“Like many other organizations, we use it to share volunteer opportunities and amplify partner events,” Dohl said. “There’s nothing unusual about that — it’s just a tool.”
Plotting May Day Protests
The Hands Off website hosts a link to the May Day National Day of Action. “This is a war on working people — and we will not stand down,” the May Day webpage reads. Itlinks to a “May 1st National Day of Action Host Toolkit,” featuring the popular Marxist iconography of the raised fist. The guide provides demonstrators with things like “sample social media posts,” a “sample email,” and even a “sample message frame” to “[a]lign your message with the broader movement,” even providing specific wording.
The guide tells organizers to register their event with Mobilize America to enable radical activists to “push out your event and help recruit attendees.” The document gives “[f]ull credit to Hands Off and Indivisible for sharing a sample toolkit we are building from.”
Dohl told The Federalist her group “isn’t involved in planning May Day actions directly, and our understanding is that plans are still coming together across the coalition.”
“[W]e expect to see mobilizations happening throughout the spring,” Dohl said.
The left-wing Action Network is also involved, hosting a map of the May Day events and description that declares, “We will not be intimidated by Trump, Musk, or their billionaire backers. … Their time is up. And May Day is just the beginning.” According to InfluenceWatch, Action Network “emerged during the Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011.” It also helped organize the anti-Keystone XL pipeline protests, the anti-gun March for Our Lives, and the anti-Trump Women’s March. Some Tesla Takedown “global day of action” organizers used Action Network to plot anti-Tesla demonstrations on March 29.
According to an online map, the May Day protests are planned for the coming weeks in major cities across the country.
Follow the Money
Indivisible was “founded by two left-wing activists” in 2016 to oppose the Trump agenda, according to InfluenceWatch. The infamous Tides Foundation, a leftist dark money giant that sponsored pro-Hamas protests on college campuses last spring, is a “funding partner” to Indivisible’s 501(c)(3) branch. LinkedIn co-founder and Democrat megadonor Reid Hoffman, who said he wished he had made Trump a “martyr” before last summer’s assassination attempt, has also contributed to Indivisible.
Mobilize America initially began as a Democrat PAC and received thousands from Democrat sources, according to InfluenceWatch. But Federal Election Commission filings listed the PAC as “terminated” in fiscal year 2019-2020. And, as Capital Research Center Investigative Researcher Parker Thayer pointed out, Mobilize’s privacy policy shows the group was listed as part of Bonterra LLC as of February 2023. Bonterra provides various left-wing volunteer and fundraising services.
The Federalist also contacted Hands Off and Mobilize, but they did not comment in time for publication.

Hennepin County Board candidate and current Minnesota Rep. Heather Edelson is co-sponsoring legislation that would ban the sale of gas-powered lawn and gardening tools in Minnesota.
Currently running in a special election for the District 6 seat on the Hennepin County Board, Edelson faces conservative newcomer Marisa Simonetti. Serving in her third-term as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, Edelson signed on as a co-author of HF 1715 in the early days of Minnesota’s 93rd Legislative Session. Under that proposed law, the sale of new gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chainsaws, and other “law and garden equipment” would be banned in Minnesota on and after Jan. 1, 2025. This seems to be having a negative effect on the democrat party and Biden’s poll numbers.
Watch: Dr. Phil Rips ‘Liberal Woke’ Universities for Fostering Anti-Semitism, ‘Intellectual Rot’
By Ken Kew – The Western Journal
Dr. Phil has launched a full frontal attack on America’s “liberal woke” universities.
The popular television host, whose full name is Phil McGraw, said in a video message this week that he was appalled by the “sickening smugness” displayed by leaders of elite universities they were testifying on Capitol Hill about the issue of campus anti-Semitism. McGraw declared that these prestigious institutions have become “liberal woke hotbeds fostering intellectual rot rather than critical thinking.” READ MORE…

Students at the University of Washington postponed an anti-Israel demonstration planned for Thursday because too many of the students who signed up are white.
According to MyNorthwest, a Washington-based radio station, the University of Washington’s Progressive Student Union (UWPSU) opted to delay an encampment in solidarity with Palestinian terrorists “to make sure this encampment is a better reflection of the UW community, and having even greater unity with Muslim, Palestinian and Arab students.”
“We want to be part of a much larger coalition of groups and make no mistake, WE WILL HAVE A UW ENCAMPMENT! We want to make sure everyone’s voice is included and this action is as safe, secure, and strong as possible,” read a statement from the far-left student union published by MyNorthwest.

The protest at the University of Washington would have placed the school on the map of more than 40 college campuses where pro-Palestine demonstrations have brought havoc to institutions from coast to coast. These anti-Israel encampments have been reported from Harvard and Yale to Stanford and the University of Southern California (USC), driving a nationwide rise in anti-Jewish hate. According to the Associated Press, students taking over college campuses are broadly demanding schools halt business with Israel or any other groups supporting the Israeli effort to eliminate Iranian-backed terrorists in the Middle East.
Demonstrations spread from Columbia University, where students began to protest last week as school leaders testified about antisemitism on Capitol Hill. The Ivy League school canceled in-person classes Monday and notified students that classes would be hybrid for the rest of the semester due to ongoing demonstrations. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson visited the university this week to shift attention away from his embarrassing failure to secure any new border fortification amid negotiations that ended with sending more money to Ukraine.
At USC, officials announced the university will cancel the school’s primary graduation ceremony after dozens were arrested in protests Thursday. Other universities may follow suit while some, such as the University of Michigan, are tightening restrictions on prohibited items, including flags and banners.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) sent a letter to college and university presidents earlier this month to “urge you to take clear, decisive action now to ensure that graduation ceremonies, events, and functions run smoothly, and that all students and their families feel safe, welcomed and celebrated.”
“As leaders in the Jewish community, we ask that you take your role seriously in making sure that Jewish students — and all students — are not robbed of a positive, memorable lifecycle event,” said the ADL.
Meanwhile, schools where demonstrations are taking place are facing financial consequences for their failure to crack down on the encampment protests. Billionaire Columbia University alum Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, said he would stop contributing to his alma mater, and Leon Cooperman, another alum, also pledged to continue a halt in donations shortly after the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel. According to The New York Post, other billionaire donors are considering a similar pause on university contributions. With high-dollar contributors pulling back from schools, having too few white students involved in pro-terrorist protests should be the least of their worries.

Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona on Tuesday released a statement condemning “antisemitic hate on college campuses” and expressing his concerns about the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” at Columbia University.
Three students were suspended from the school and multiple others were arrested last week for staging a pro-Palestinian protest in the center of the school’s campus. The demonstrators are calling for an immediate cease-fire in the war between Israel and Hamas and for the United States to stop sending military aid to Israel.
“Antisemitic hate on college campuses is unacceptable. I am deeply concerned by what is happening at Columbia University,” Cardona wrote in a statement on social media. “In November 2023, our Office for Civil Rights opened an investigation of Columbia involving Title VI.”
Cardona added: “While we can’t comment on pending investigations, every student deserves to feel a sense of safety and belonging at school. Hate has no place in our schools. All education leaders must stand definitively against hate, antisemitism, anti-Arab, and anti-Muslim sentiment.”
Columbia previously announced that the main campus will implement hybrid learning for almost all classes, excluding programs based on the arts or that require in-person practice.
“Safety is our highest priority as we strive to support our students’ learning and all the required academic operations,” the school’s Provost Angela V. Olinto and Chief Operating Officer Cas Holloway said in a statement Monday.

Trucker convoys that could total as many as 700,000 vehicles are headed south to demand a secure border this weekend.
“We have a trucker convoy coming down to the border,” Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, said in an interview with Fox Business Network, adding: “The American people have had enough. We’re demanding that the Biden administration do its job, enforce the laws on the books and secure our border.”
We the People will not be silent! We the People will not be intimidated!
When describing the crisis at the border, Self estimated that illegal immigration had surpassed “8 million people during the Biden administration … . This is the time for us to rise up as the American people and demand that our president do his job.”
Self shared information about the trucker convoys on X, formerly Twitter, in which he urged followers to “join us,” adding: “The time is now for we the people to peacefully assemble in honor of our constitutional rights to call on our government to take action and secure our borders.”
Once again, the truckers are standing for We the People! 🚛🇺🇸
There is a Take Back Our Border trucker convoy that will begin Jan 29th, ending with 3 rallies on Feb. 3rd in Eagle Pass TX, Yuma AZ, and San Ysidro CA. 🇺🇸
The trucker convoy event—dubbed “Take Our Border Back”—kicked off on Monday, with the departure of Convoy 1 from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Three trucker convoys are participating, all leaving from different locations. Convoy 1 is headed for Eagle Pass, Texas. It will then drive through Dripping Springs and on to Quemado, Texas.
Convoy 2 departs from Dripping Springs, Texas, for Yuma, Arizona, on Thursday.
Convoy 3 leaves from San Ysidro, California, and will head toward Yuma on Saturday.
On Saturday, rallies are planned for Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona by participants in the trucker convoys with the goal of shedding light on what they are calling “the obvious dangers posed by wide-open southern borders.”
In its news release, the “Take Our Border Back” trucker convoy coalition described itself as a “peaceful, lawful and clear message to all city, state and federal politicians and immigration officials.”
The goals of the trucker convoys are to “request all laws of our U.S. Constitution be immediately upheld, to slow and ultimately stop drug trafficking and human trafficking associated with open borders, and to call for immediate action to secure our borders before irreversible, serious consequences befall our nation.”
The attempts to blame former President Donald Trump for the Jan. 6 protest is a function of “corrupt DOJ talking points” and “neuro linguistic programming” for “critical factor bypass” by anti-Trump “mockingbird media,” the infamous Jan. 6 “Shaman” Jacob Chansley told Newsmax in an exclusive interview Monday.
“No, I do not” blame Trump, Chansley told “National Report.” “And I think that any attempt to try to paint anything that happened on that day onto the president or try to paint him with that broad brush is just mockingbird media and corrupt DOJ talking points, because the fact of the matter is the man said peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
Chansley was giving his first national TV interview since his imprisonment for having taken part in the Capitol protest that had him convicted for the obstruction of an official congressional proceeding. He spent the time researching, studying, and even teaching inmates as he prepares for a 2024 libertarian campaign in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
“What we’re talking about here is optics, and based on the mockingbird media and neuro linguistic programming, based on critical factor bypass, and all that kind of psychological warfare, basically, you can paint anybody to be anything,” Chansley said.
“So you could choose to look at me as a felon. I’ve heard people call me a traitor that’s a threat to democracy. Or you could choose to look at me as I am a person that was maligned and skewered by a corrupt system — as so many hundreds of thousands of people have been in the United States, as so many Jan. 6ers have been in the United States, and as Donald Trump has been in the United States of America.”
Chansley turned his attention back to the question on Trump, convinced Trump bears no responsibility for the Jan. 6 protest.
“I don’t see the former president as responsible at all,” Chansley said. “Nobody can make me do anything, and that’s why I should go to D.C., because I’m not going to be beholden to the NGOs [non-governmental organizations]. I’m not going to be beholden to lobbyists. I’m not going to be beholden to the deep-state puppet strings.
“I will represent the American people the way they deserve to be represented.”
Chansley says he won’t accept campaign donations, because it would be hypocritical to be against the establishment in politics and then participate in it.

The meltdown in blue cities over the busing of illegal immigrants continues, and it’s causing Democrats serious problems. That’s good, because it’s their fault this is happening. What the media inaccurately call the “migrant crisis” (these are people who have unlawfully crossed the U.S. border, not migrants) is battering so-called sanctuary cities, such as New York and Los Angeles.
Texas sent a 12th bus full of illegal immigrants to Los Angeles on Monday. According to KTTV Channel 11 in Los Angeles, the bus carried “23 men, 20 women, [and] 21 children.”
“The migrants were from Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Russia, and Venezuela,” it said.
Fox News reported that the Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to consider the possibility of a lawsuit and “criminal probe” against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. Wait a minute. Why are they suing and not celebrating? I thought all are welcome, no exceptions? Surely, they can find some houses in their city with signs declaring that they believe “no human is illegal” and all that.
Just a few months ago, this same City Council declared Los Angeles a sanctuary city and prohibited city resources from being used in immigration enforcement. One of the City Council members, Hugo Soto-Martínez, said that there’s been a great deal of “hateful rhetoric” coming out of places like Texas.
“What this [motion] means is a clear message to the community that we’re not like them, that the city should be looked [at] as an entity that you can trust, that you can come to and that you can look to for help,” he said when Los Angeles became a sanctuary city.
Be careful what you wish for. Texas just gave them what they said they wanted.
Monday’s busload might just be the beginning for Los Angeles. So far, Abbott has sent just 480 illegal immigrants there. But given that there have been millions who have come to America since this crisis began at the start of President Joe Biden’s administration, there’s likely more to come.
Texas has bused over 35,000 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities.
Over 11,300 to DC Over 13,300 to NYC Over 6,700 to Chicago Over 2,600 to Philadelphia Over 1,000 to Denver Over 480 to LA
The left-wing radicals on the Los Angeles City Council, who insist on giving no aid for border enforcement, will almost undoubtedly be begging the federal government for aid now that they are seriously dealing with the consequences.
I can’t stress enough that the busing isn’t a victory. The problem remains: Our southern border is effectively open, millions of people are violating our laws, evil drug cartels are empowered, and America more and more becomes an economic zone rather than a self-governing country.
But putting the border chaos ball more firmly in the Democratic Party’s court remains one of the bigger successes for the GOP in recent years. Typically, Democrats can marshal their considerable media, cultural, and institutional power to deflect blame away from their failures. When one of their policies has immediate and predictable catastrophic results—such as defunding the police—they first attach the predictable chaos to one of their favorite narratives: “Systemic racism, inequality!”
When all else fails, they attribute the obviously terrible idea to Republicans and conservatives: “Republicans are defunding the police!” The busing solution has made this strategy nearly impossible, as residents are seeing firsthand the consequences of left-wing virtue-signaling.
“I realize it’s a sanctuary city, but there has to be a limit to our compassion,” said Michele Rubin on Tuesday, who was protesting on Staten Island, WNYW-TV Channel 5 in New York reported. “We don’t have the infrastructure. We are not vetting anybody. We don’t know if anybody has a criminal background or what they did in their country of origin.”
Of the more than 100,000 illegal immigrants who have arrived in the city since the crisis exploded a few years ago, 59,000 are being housed on Staten Island. Residents are starting to get testy, and so are politicians, who are looking for someone to blame.
“Tensions between the Biden administration and local Democrats are coming to a head as shelters around the country overflow and thousands of immigrants arrive in major cities,” Axios reported, noting that the Biden administration has offered few answers.
Many Democrats have concluded that the issue is that work permits haven’t been distributed fast enough, which is both amusing and infuriating. It’s amusing to think that handing out more work permits will make the crisis go away, rather than exacerbate it. It’s infuriating, because they are basically saying that the law should specifically cater to people who have intentionally broken the law.
As Nicole Galinas wrote for The New York Post, the work permits “solution” will make the problem worse beyond just the increased incentive to break the law.
“Another problem with issuing work permits to new migrants is: What about the old migrants? If you’ve been toiling for years as a dishwasher or housekeeper, shouldn’t you get a work permit, too?” Galinas asked, rhetorically. “Claims of asylum notwithstanding, most people who came here 10 or 20 years ago came for the same reason people came a month ago: job opportunities.”
It’s easy to see why there’s been increased local unrest. And deservedly so.
The answer to the problem is straightforward. It’s on the Biden administration to get control of the border, prioritize enforcement over appeasement, and stop signaling to the world that America’s borders are merely a suggestion.
This Summer, many blue cities have suffered from endless riots. A new study has discovered that there have been 550 “most peaceful” instances of destruction and looting.
Recently, we saw footage of an Antifa member setting himself on fire with his own Molotov cocktail.
It’s hard to ignore how these “demonstrations” are getting more and more dangerous. And left-wing Democrat Ilhan Omar revealed what they really might be:
Rep. @IlhanMN: “We are in the midst of an ongoing uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression.”
Omar exposed what appears to be the true goal of these “social justice” riots. She claims these riots are an uprising. In other words, a rebellion, a revolution. An overthrow of America as we have been for hundreds of years.
This uprising has destroyed many businesses and homes, including black-owned, and she claims they are a part of “centuries of racial neglect and oppression.” She says that these riots (which have included many white Antifa members) go hand-in-hand with peaceful movements over the years that aimed to end segregation, discrimination, and bigotry. Omar seems to be validating concerns that Antifa and BLM want to fundamentally change America.
Ronald Reagan warned us of this over thirty years ago:
“If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism.”
Truer words have never been spoken look at what’s going on today.
“ANTIFA” looters rioters and vandals are truly the fascists in America.
It seems Reagan was prophetic, as modern-day fascism is coming into the U.S., care of the “liberal” Democratic Party. While Republicans oppose the riots and looting, Democrats (even those in D.C.) have ignored it or even applauded it. Even today, when some of them condemn the violence, they do little to actually stop it. At the same time, Democrats blame Trump on the unrest—even as he calls for peace and law and order.
Local Democrats continue to punish law-abiding citizens by imposing lockdowns for a virus few are even still talking about. It seems November can’t come fast enough.
Are you voting for Trump or for the Democrats?
Key Takeaways:
Ilhan Omar called the Summer’s riots part of an “uprising.”
She compared the looting of black-owned businesses by white Antifa members to efforts to end discrimination.
Reagan warned that fascism would come to the U.S. through liberalism.

Pro-choice activists screamed vulgarities at a pro-life demonstrator at the #StoptheBans protest Tuesday on Capitol Hill.
“Alright, pro-life Barbie, walk the fuck away!” one of two pro-choice activists told Alison Howard Centofante, director of strategic communications at Live Action, a pro-life organization. In the video captured by Breitbart News, the two women can be seen repeatedly berating Centofante, shouting “Fuck you!…. Fuck you and the rest of you ignorant bitches!”

After deadly riots, France has scraped it’s “Carbon Tax”. Many leftists are calling for a Carbon tax here in the U.S. but say little as to how that will ultimately lower CO2s.
It’s true that CNN and the New YorkTimes, among other liberal outlets, have rightly been called out for their failure to report accurately on the protests in Iran. But there’s something that not even the conservative media is telling you today, an important backstory that might be playing a role in this rising protest movement.
As for the leftwing media, Caroline Glick noted in her article in the Jerusalem Post that, “Given the earth shattering potential of the protests it is extraordinary to see the liberal media in the US and Europe struggle to downplay their significance.” And here in the US, “the US, former members of the Obama administration and the liberal media have determinedly downplayed the importance of the protests.”
Similarly, writing for the Daily Wire, Ryan Saavedra stated that, “The media initially ignored what was going on in Iran, likely because it reflected negatively on former President Barack Obama, whose Iran nuclear deal was supposed to help Iran’s economy, and because the Trump administration’s response was night-and-day better than Obama’s response in 2009.
“CNN and The New York Times did a terrible job of covering the protests, while ABC News’ Matthew Dowd declared that the U.S. did not have the moral authority to talk about Iran because ‘we’ don’t talk about Russia.”
So, again, the liberal media has been taken to task for its unfair coverage of the Iranian protests, and rightly so. In fact, it would be hard to find a greater contrast than that between the courageous protesters and the cowardly media. But there’s something else going on in Iran that could well be playing an important role in the rising Iranian discontent. It’s something that has been building and growing under the surface and behind closed doors. And it remains one of the best-kept secrets in the world, despite occasional media reports in the last few years: Iranian Muslims are converting to Christianity at an unprecedented pace, perhaps by the thousands every day.
I’ve heard this firsthand from Iranian converts. I’ve heard it firsthand from Christian leaders who have worked with these converts inside and outside of Iran. And I’ve heard it from missiologists whose job it is to track such things.
And it’s reminiscent of the conversion of tens of millions of Chinese behind the cover of the Bamboo Curtain. Missiologists were reporting it for years before the rest of the world found out about it. Now, it is an open secret, leading to headlines like this, from April 14, 2014, in the UK Telegraph: “China on course to become ‘world’s most Christian nation’ within 15 years. The number of Christians in Communist China is growing so steadily that it by 2030 it could have more churchgoers than America.”
The website of Safa, himself a former Iranian, Shiite Muslim but now an evangelical pastor, declares, “Despite severe persecution by the Iranian government against underground churches, God’s Word is spreading like a wildfire all over Iran. Pastor Safa believes that Iran will be the first Islamic nation to convert to Christianity.”
This may sound like a pipe dream, but consider that a 2012 Pew Research report claimed that, “The share of the population that is Christian in sub-Saharan Africa climbed from 9% in 1910 to 63% in 2010.”And much of this growth occurred in the midst of Muslim-majority populations.
The same thing is happening throughout the Muslim world, confirming an article on the National CatholicRegister which claims that, “Muslims Are Converting to Christianity in Record Numbers.” This too has been an open secret for many years now.
When it comes to Iran, the article repeats the claim that there are now three million Iranian Christians, which would mean a massive jump from the numbers posted in the respected prayer guide, Operation World. It claimed a total of 384,897 Christians from all backgrounds in Iran (compared to 74,054,491 Muslims), with just 117,678 listed as evangelicals. Getting from here to three million is extraordinary.
That’s why Mohabat News (the Iranian Christian News Agency), reported in August, 2017, that, “Christianity has been growing at an exponential rate in the last couple of decades in Iran, causing the Islamic government a great deal of concern. In a most recent expression of their distress, one of the high profile Islamic seminary officials, Ayatollah Alavi Boroujerdi, stated ‘accurate reports indicate that the youth are becoming Christians in Qom and attending house churches’.”
And, the article continues, “this is not a new development. Earlier reports had also shown a surprising rise in the number of Iranians turning away from Islam and converting to Christianity.”
That’s why Fox News could report in 2016 that, “The number of Muslim converts who are risking prison or death by secretly worshipping as Christians in Iran’s house church movement has grown to as many as 1 million people, according to watchdog groups.” Something powerful is happening in Iran, despite the intense persecution Christians are facing.
My sources have been telling me that:
1) it’s only a matter of time before the number of these conversions reaches a critical mass, allowing these new Christians to emerge from the underground into the public eye; and
2) it is the Iranian regime that is our enemy, not the Iranian people, many of whom love America and hate what the radical Islamic leadership has done to their country.
We should pray for these courageous Christians, and, more broadly, stand with these Iranian protesters. It could well be that there are many secret converts among them. And we should applaud our government for letting Iran know that we are watching them carefully right now. It could be time for this great, hidden story to be known to the whole world.
Are you still watching the NFL? The Cleveland Browns may have given you a new reason to stop…
11 players from the Browns chose to take a knee during the National Anthem on Monday Night just before the Browns were due to kick off against the New York Giants.
USA Todayhas the list of players involved, “Linebackers Jamie Collins and Christian Kirksey, running backs Duke Johnson, Terrence Magee and Isaiah Crowell, wide receivers Kenny Britt and Ricardo Louis, safeties Jabrill Peppers and Calvin Pryor, tight end Seth DeValve, and cornerback Jamar Taylor constituted the group of kneeling players.
“Several other players — rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer, offensive tackle Shon Coleman, punter Britton Colquitt, cornerback Jason McCourty and offensive guard Marcus Martin — stood next to the group and placed an arm on one of a kneeling teammate.”
Tight End Seth Devalve, who is the first white player to take part in the NFL protests, said this after the game, “The United States is the greatest country in the world. It is because it provides opportunities to its citizens that no other country does. The issue is that it doesn’t provide equal opportunity to everybody. And I wanted to support my African-American teammates today who wanted to take a knee. We wanted to draw attention to the fact that there’s things in this country that still need to change. I myself will be raising children that don’t look like me, and I want to do my part as well to do everything I can to raise them in a better environment than we have right now.”
“As an organization, we have a profound respect for our country’s National Anthem, flag and the servicemen and servicewomen in the United States and abroad. We feel it’s important for our team to join in this great tradition and special moment of recognition, at the same time we also respect the great liberties afforded by our country, including the freedom of personal expression.”
Coach Hue Jackson, who had previously said that he hoped his players would not participate in such a protest, defended his players:
“We respect our players; we respect the flag. Those guys came to me and talked to me about it before they ever made a decision to do it. That is the way we feel about it, and we have talked about this. I said at some point in time, they may, and they have. I won’t know about the next game until it happens, but again, this was tonight and we will move on from there.”
Really?
They “respect” the flag?
Americans can protest if they wish to do so, but these players, their teams, and the NFL need to realize that we can protest too.
Seth Devalve, who participated in the protest, had the gall to admit that our nation is the “greatest in the world,”and yet he still chose to participate in this farce because he is uneducated about the issue.
There is NO epidemic of police killing black men. I would urge Seth Devalve and every NFL Anthem protester to watch Larry Elder explain the facts about “sytemic racism” in America before choosing to participate in another ill-considered, and foolish protest.
Democrats are taking to the streets…in waves. First it was women (the day after the inauguration), then it was immigrants (conflating legal and illegal aliens in the hope of making people think they are one in the same), then it was women again (because, presumably, someone ordered too many crocheted vagina hats the first time around and needed to unload them). Which group will be next? Allow me to offer some help.
Should they go back to immigrants? No, no one cared last time. They can’t repeat women after having just done women. Besides, like with immigrants, no one outside of newsrooms gave a damn or really noticed.
How about LGBTQ? “ A Day Without A Gay”? It does have a certain ring to it. But again, the problem is who is going to notice? Americans don’t run around spotting gay people and attempting to “otherize”them, as leftists like to say. And the crocheted design, not to mention the sales or the cost of extra yarn, might leave something to be desired.
There is, however, one group of people the political left has a stranglehold on which is large enough to be noticed by all, though perhaps not missed, if they were to “strike” for one day: idiots.
Might I suggest the next “A Day Without” protest be “A Day Without Idiots.” Newsrooms would be empty. People would notice the normally vacant head of hair reading the nightly news being replaced by an empty chair…eventually…probably. There certainly would be fewer interpretive dances at city council meetings.
Government agencies would undoubtedly be forced to close if idiots took the day off. But if the “strike”was successful, and all idiot-Americans refused to participate in any activities that day, the absence of government employees would go unnoticed by most since their customers would be out as well.
No TV or movie production would take place that day; Hollywood would be as empty as the space between the ears this year’s award winners. Concerts would be cancelled, Broadway a ghost town. Hell, New York would be empty; California would collectively go to the beach. Left lanes on freeways would only be filled by people going fast, blindly j-walking in the middle of a block across a one-way street while texting and looking the wrong way would not happen. Fast-food drive-thrus would move efficiently with the “anchors”on the crew playing X-Box at home. See, it’s not all bad.
Marginally talented comedians wouldn’t accuse anyone with brain cancer of having “Nazi hair” simply because they don’t agree with them politically. It would also spare the country non-apology apologies for a day. No one would have to issue a “We deeply apologize for offending”tweets to said cancer patients for having “Nazi hair” while remaining silent on all the other people they accused of the same.
Who would have thought we’d come to a point in human history where accusing random strangers of being a Nazi based on having a hairstyle Brad Pitt recently sported because they committed the perceived sin of not agreeing with the accuser politically would only elicit an apology when the recipient is discovered to have a horrible disease but not a blanket apology for making the accusation against 3 other people? Wouldn’t you like a day without more of that? Wouldn’t you like a day without any of this? Just one day?
Since we’ll all be supporting these gender and ethnic justice studies participation ribbon recipients once they graduate now that burger-flippingmachines are taking over the jobs for which they are most qualified, a day without them would serve as a nice thank you in advance. Sure, the best vegan restaurants might be forced to close that day for lack of staff, but since there is no such thing as a good vegan restaurant, we, like “The Dude”in The Big Lebowski, will abide.
Best of all, Congress would be out of session for another day this year. And any day Congress is out of session is a good day for America. One day without politicians swearing to you the GOP Obamacare repeal plan is greatest bill ever or another one swearing it will lead to the end of the Republic or people dropping dead in the streets. Wouldn’t a day off from that be nice?
Liberals are fast running out of a “victim”groups to grant martyr status to, it’s time they got creative. And it’d be nice if they were generous with something besides other people’s money, for once. They should give the country a day off from them. While “A Day Without Idiots” might not be to their liking, as long as the concept remains, they can call it whatever they want. Maybe they can even find a way to sell more of those stupid hats. Anything, as long as they leave us the hell alone, for even one day.

We finally have proof that progressive front groups are giving actors money to protest presumptive GOP candidate Donald Trump. After eight years of failed Obama policies, Democratic strategists are desperate to get voters agitated enough to gamble on another four years of big-government experimentation. And if they can’t generate real passion among the electorate, make-believe anger will do just fine.
Today a man from Trump’s rally last week in Fountain Hills, Arizona has come forward to say that he was paid to protest the event. “I was given $3,500 to protest Donald Trump’s rally in Fountain Hills,” said 37-year-old Paul Horner. “I answered a Craigslist ad a little over a week ago about a group needing actors for a political event. I interviewed with them and got the part.”
Trump supporters have been claiming for weeks that the protesters are being paid for by Bernie Sanders ’ campaign, but Horner disagrees.
“As for who these people were affiliated with that interviewed me, my guess would be Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” Horner said. “The actual check I received after I was done with the job was from a group called ‘Women Are The Future’. After I was hired, they told me if anyone asked any questions about who I was with or communicated with me in any way, I should start talking about how great Bernie Sanders is.”
Here’s the ad that ran on Craigslist:
All of this, meantime, sounds like vintage Hillary to me: Attack Donald Trump, then frame Bernie Sanders.
Horner also shared an observation that is sure to crack up all the millennials in the room:
“It was mostly women in their 60’s at the interview that I went to. Plus, all the people that I communicated with had an AOL email address. No one still has an AOL email address except people that would vote for Hillary Clinton.”
This report is confirmation that desperate Democrats are manufacturing outrage and planting protesters in an attempt to instigate violence at Donald Trump rallies.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – A frustrated protester told reporters at a union-sponsored Black Lives Matter event that he thinks “It is time for people to really rise up against this injustice that’s been going on for too long” and that “All of these peaceful protests are soon going to end. We are not going to continue these peaceful protests while you murder our children.”
The protester is Nicholas Heyward, whose 13-year-old Nicholas Heyward, Jr. was killed by a Housing Authority officer in 1994 while playing with a toy guy at a housing project in Brooklyn.
In a 2014 interview, Heyward expressed his frustration over the system and “community leaders” like the Rev. Al Sharpton, saying:
I don’t look at someone like Al Sharpton as a civil rights leader anymore. His inner circle isn’t full of grassroots activists. He’s surrounded by flashy lawyers and a traveling circus. I’ve been around for 20 years. In all the cases Sharpton has been involved in, we’ve seen the same routine. I’ve never seen justice – in the sense that officers were truly held accountable. It was almost solely about money.
In February, however, Hayward had expressed some hope at the case being of his son’s death being investigated and the news that police “would treat this as if it were a cold case” according to AMNY.com.
“It’s been a struggle for 22 years of injustice,” Heyward said, standing outside of the DA’s office, surrounded by signs with his son’s face on it and that of former-Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes. “I’m still feeling pain. I’m emotional about the whole situation.”
A spokesman for the DA’s office said the case is being reviewed.
“We are in the process of looking into this tragic case and will review the original investigation,” the spokesman said.
Mr. Heyward spoke at a protest in Brooklyn on Thursday morning that focused a variety of leftist issues, including higher wages for fast food workers.

Elected officials say they welcome the visit, despite having different political views than the president.
Gun rights groups have also been vocal, condemning his visit after Obama said he plans to keep gun control at the forefront of political discussions.
A Facebook page called “Defend Roseburg – Deny Barack Obama” outlines plans for a protest at 11 a.m. Friday in advance of the president’s expected early afternoon arrival. Over 7,000 people have clicked on “going” to the rally, including many who have indicated that they are coming from California and elsewhere.
Organizers emphasize that they want a peaceful protest and instruct those attending to not engage in theatrics or arguments that cast gun control opponents in a bad light.
“Conduct yourselves like adults,” the event description reads. “Show the nation and the world a strong force of principled, good, responsible patriots. Represent yourself and the country with excellence because the world is truly watching.”
The organizers also recognize that gun control opponents will express themselves by carrying weapons.
“If you choose to carry a firearm that is your right. Be safe, be responsible. We suggest that you carry a handgun as opposed to a rifle, but again, you have the right to carry what you wish. Whatever you carry, keep it holstered/secure. Show the world that American gun owners are responsible patriots. Look out for each other.”
An official with the Douglas County Tea Party said that at least two separate protests are planned, and that the intention is to show support for Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin,,who has spoken out against additional legislative restrictions on gun ownership.
The City of Roseburg officials and Douglas County Commissioners have announced they are welcoming Obama to privately visit families of the victims of the Umpqua Community College shooting.
“We wish to be clear that Mayor Rich, City Council President Ryan and the Roseburg City Council welcome the President to Roseburg and will extend him every courtesy,”the city said in a news release on Tuesday.
The Douglas County commissioners also issued a statement.
“Regardless of our differences with the President on policy issues, we await the President’s arrival and look forward to his show of support for a community who is grieving and whose heartache is immeasurable–especially the families of those killed,”the commissioners said in a statement on Tuesday.
Among the outspoken against an Obama visit was David Jaques, the publisher of the conservative Roseburg Beacon.
“Our message is: Mr. President, please don’t come to Roseburg,”Jaques told KGW on Saturday. “It’s a dishonor to the families and to what we’re going through as a community.”
Jaques said Obama’s visit will be more of a political stunt than a visit to sincerely provide condolences to victims’ families. “He’s not coming to take care of them or to show his support for them,”Jaques said. “He’s simply coming to advance a political agenda.”
President Obama advocated for more gun regulation during a speech following the shooting. “This is something we should politicize,”Obama said. “This is a political choice that we make.”
The White House has not announced a public appearance by the president during his visit to Roseburg.
“I am a Republican, I am a strong supporter of gun rights and I want him here too,”Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich said. “The whole focus is on the victims’ families and that’s why he’s here.”
In the 2012 presidential election, Obama received 35 percent of the Douglas County vote, down from 38 percent in 2008. More recently, the county was also split on the issue of marijuana legalization, with 55 percent of county voters casting ballots against the legalization measure in 2014.
Let’s face facts: The Black Lives Matter movement, if it can be called a movement, was a sham from the beginning. Far more blacks die in this country at the hands of other blacks than as a result of run-ins with law enforcement. The decisions of two grand juries not to indict police officers implicated in the deaths of two black men may have seemed like a convenient excuse for a protest, complete with its own Twitter hashtag. But there was never going to be a sustained grassroots movement because the grievance is built on a house of cards.
Lacking genuine motivation, BLM has had nowhere to go but left, becoming increasingly radicalized and co-opted by liberals — many of them, ironically, rich and white. This trend has manifested itself in recent news stories. Last week, a group of Ferguson protesters made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, specifically to the “Palestinian Territories” in the West Bank, in a show of solidarity against the “Zionist state.” Ahmad Abuznaid, legal and policy director of the Dream Defenders, organized the trip, whose goals he enumerated thus:
[P]rimarily to allow for the group members to experience and see first hand the occupation, ethnic cleansing and brutality Israel has levied against Palestinians, but also to build real relationships with those on the ground leading the fight for liberation.
SEE SECOND ARTILCE BELOW
Showing animosity toward another group that has suffered oppression, Jews, has always been a curious and ironic hallmark of radical black leaders — think Sharpton, Jackson, and Farrakhan. It is utterly unsurprising to see anti-Semitism as a credo of BLM. In a video interview with Noah McKenna, one of the white organizers of a protest cum traffic snarl outside Boston, he is asked about anti-Jewish postings on his group’s Facebook page (beginning around 0:50). His response? “This feels like trolling.”
Despite pleas from march organizers to respect the MLK event, demonstrators blocked Rue de la Place by the Old Courthouse, where the march was to begin Monday morning, protesting what they called a watered-down legacy of King. [Emphasis added]
The problem with claiming that King’s legacy has been “watered down” is that he left behind a body of literature that runs counter philosophically to everything these latter-day protesters claim to stand for — unless they have access to some heretofore undisclosed papers in which the civil rights giant endorsed rioting or looting.

Ferguson protesters travel to Palestine in show of solidarity against ‘Zionist state’
[Ed. – A whole new reason to dislike these morons]
A group of Ferguson protesters has visited Palestine in support of activists aiming to create ties between the two groups and to “see first hand the occupation, ethnic cleansing and brutality Israel has levied against Palestinians.”
The group consists of members from the Dream Defenders, Black Lives Matter, and other Ferguson protesters.
The ten day Palestine trip organized by the legal and policy director of the Dream Defenders, Ahmad Abuznaid, offered protesters to visit areas such as the West Bank.
“The goals were primarily to allow for the group members to experience and see first hand the occupation, ethnic cleansing and brutality Israel has levied against Palestinians, but also to build real relationships with those on the ground leading the fight for liberation.”
Activist Cherrell Brown asserted that the police violence carried out on African American is comparable to Palestinians currently living under the “Zionist state.”

Jason Howerton reported that it remains unclear why “federal officials felt the Tea Party presence required more than the attention of local law enforcement.”
Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit said that armed DHS guards greeted Tea Party activists in St. Louis.
“Around 300 protesters turned out anyway,” he wrote.
According to an account posted by Hoft, DHS used a helicopter against Tea Party protesters in Los Angeles and told the group they were not allowed on federal property.
“Many of our 300 tea party folks were approached immediately by Homeland Security and told they could not be on federal property. My lawyer told me as long as I didn’t block passage we were OK. Many Homeland Security trucks and a helicopter above us scared many patriots so most of group went to public side walk to rally,” an unnamed Tea Party activist told Hoft.
A report at BizPac Review said the DHS also made an appearance at a Tea Party protest in Florida.
“Under the watchful eye of Homeland Security — yes, they were present — protestors carried signs that read ‘We Do Not Consent to Tyranny,’ ‘Abolish the IRS’ and ‘Don’t Target me Bro!,’ making it clear they do not condone the use of the IRS as a political weapon,” Tom Tillison wrote.
A protest in Fort Wayne, Ind., actually had more police than Tea Party. Howerton said that a lone woman “was reportedly accompanied by three visible security guards in the IRS parking lot, which included a Homeland Security officer.”
“The DHS appears to have finally found a use for all those bullets it’s been buying,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote at Prison Planet, echoing a sentiment at Fire Andrea Mitchell.
“Amazing how Obama can send out his stormtroopers for peaceful IRS protests by the tea party, yet couldn’t bother with the ‘bumps in the road’ in Benghazi,” Fire Andrea Mitchell said.
According to reports, the Tea Party protests concluded without incident.
Video of the protest in St. Louis can be seen here.
