Violence Escalates, Another Pro-Life Woman Physically Attacked After Engaging in Civil Debate

Reported By Savannah Pointer | October 10, 2018 at 4:00pm

For the second time in as many days, an altercation between pro-life and abortion rights protesters ended in violence directed against the pro-life demonstrators.  video uploaded by Toronto Against Abortion starts with what appears to be a civil conversation that took place Oct. 1 between two people from opposing sides of the issue. It was interrupted by someone physically attacking one the pro-life demonstrators. The video appears to consist of footage from several cameras that the pro-life demonstrators were wearing.”

See video footage here:

The attack, which appeared to be originally targeting the pro-life speaker heard on camera, eventually was carried out on a woman beside him, identified as Katie Somers by Life News, who retreated quickly.

“Blaise Alleyne, one of the pro-life team members, said they were engaged in civil discussion with several of the counter-protesters when one of them, allegedly Gabby Skwarko, became hostile,” Life News reported.

The attacker, a young woman, threw things, shoved, hit, grabbed and even wrenched away part of the victim’s items attached to their backpack.

“She chased after me, grabbed my full, stainless steel water bottle and smashed it on the ground, then grabbed my backpack, yanking me back and forth,” Somers told Life News. “I yelled, ‘Get away from me!’ And she came after me and shoved me.”

Other protesters on the street stepped in and blocked the attacker from continuing to act out her rage, but not before the suspect made contact with the victim several times. After noticing that she was being videotaped, the attacker came up to the person with the camera, shoving her chest out in a threatening manner, asking if she was being filmed.

“She then moved on to Blaise, bumping him in the chest with hers and saying, ‘Let’s go, are you filming me? Let’s do this!’” said Somers.

The attacker also threw a metal dolly at a group of pro-lifers, which according to Somers, suggested that she intended harm to others.

“The possibility of self defense was gone for me the moment she used the metal cart as a weapon,” Somers told LifeNews. “At that point I was terrified of having my teeth broken, being concussed, or worse, and my priority was to get away and to safety.”

Skwarko is reportedly a member of the Ryerson Reproductive Justice Collective and a former faculty of arts director at the Ryerson Students Union. This was the second incident of a similar nature to take place in the Toronto area in as many days.

The Conservative Tribune reported on an incident that took place Sept. 30 where another abortion rights advocate roundhouse kicked a pro-life advocate while in the middle of a discussion about abortion.

“According to a police news release, Jordan Hunt, 26, of Toronto, surrendered to police shortly after a video of him kicking a pro-life protester was posted online,” the Conservative Tribune reported.

The kick, which seemed unexpected due to the conversation surrounding it, appeared to be in response to a question that Hunt couldn’t answer.

After kicking the pro-life advocate, Hunt seemed to immediately regret his decision, saying, “I meant to kick your phone.”

Hunt was charged with eight counts of assault and seven counts of mischief. It was the second time he had been charged with assaulting someone at a political rally in the past year.

He has been ordered to stay at least 500 meters away from any “organized pro-life demonstration,” according to LifeSite News.

Boy Sits in School Hallway Crying. Officer Sits Down Beside Him & Tells Him He is ‘Loved’

Reported By Kim Davis | August 11, 2018 at 11:46am

“Those that do the most, those that go above and beyond are those that are rarely recognized.”

The heartfelt words from Phoenix resident Edna Guerrero were in response to a beautiful moment she witnessed between an emotional boy and a school resource officer.

Guerrero has long witnessed the humble actions of school resource officer Rusty Baubie.

He’s always on the lookout for the well-being of the students he’s promised to serve and protect.

Baubie tends to shrug off his daily acts of kindness, Guerrero explained, saying that he’s just doing his job.

But after Guerrero witnessed the gentle manner in which Baubie responded to an inconsolable student at school, she felt like he deserved some public recognition.

Baubie happened to be in the right place at the right time. He saw, and heard, a student screaming and crying desperately in the hallway.

The boy collapsed to the floor, sobbing with his head buried into his knees.

At that moment, the boy seemed to be overwhelmed by self-loathing, audibly vocalizing the terrible thoughts running through his mind.

“A student was having a difficult time, was screaming and inconsolably crying, saying sad and negative things about himself,” Guerrero wrote on Facebook. “This officer looked through the eyes of this student and immediately showed mercy.”

Baubie took a seat next to the crying boy and saw him for who he was: just a kid who was desperate for love, and in need of an encouraging word.

“This officer spoke softly to the student letting him know that he did matter, that he was important, that he was loved,” Guerrero said.

“This officer helped this student understand that we all make mistakes and that those mistakes do not define who we are and we just learn from them and move on.”

Sgt. Armando Carbajal, a public information officer at the Phoenix Police Department, said Baubie has been with the police force for 13 years. Baubie is a husband, father, and described as a very humble man.

“Police officers are there to provide safety and to teach,” Carbajal said. “But this was one duty that you can’t put on paper.”

Watch: Bodycam Footage Devastates Rioters Raging at ‘Unarmed’ Black Man’s Death

Reported By Cillian Zeal | July 16, 2018 at 5:40am

Police bodycam footage of the shooting death of a Chicago man that touched off riots in the city over the weekend revealed that he appeared to be armed and reaching for his weapon.

The death of Harith “Snoop” Augustus, a 37-year-old African-American, at the hands of Chicago police officers “mobilized hundreds of Chicago protesters over the weekend,” as The Hill charitably put it.

“Officers were struck by rocks and bottles as dozens of demonstrators gathered near the crime scene Saturday,” USA Today reported police as saying.

“Four demonstrators were arrested late Saturday as police cleared the crime scene, said Anthony Guglielmi, the police department’s chief spokesman. Fred Waller, chief of the department’s patrol division, said three or four officers were injured.” Batons were apparently used against some of the protesters.

Those assembled chanted “murderers” and “no justice, no peace” after the shooting, gathering quickly at the 71st Street scene at which Augustus was shot.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, police say they stopped Augustus at roughly 5:30 p.m. Saturday because he was “a man exhibiting characteristics of an armed person.” However, witnesses say police had wanted Augustus to stop selling loose cigarettes, a similar situation which led to the death of Eric Garner in New York City several years ago.

A Washington Post freeze-frame of the video shows Augustus reaching for what appears to be a Firearm Owners Identification Card, a card that allows individuals to buy and carry firearms and ammunition.

However, after a brief confrontation, Augustus runs away. Another freeze-frame of the bodycam video shows Augustus with his shirt up, revealing a holstered handgun. He then runs out into the street as another police car arrives.

It’s at this point that Augustus can be seen reaching for his waist in roughly the same location at which the firearm was at. Police then shot him. A weapon was discovered at the scene along with several rounds of ammunition.

Here is video released by the city of the confrontation, which we must warn you contains images some will find disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.

Augustus was transported to Jackson Park Hospital, where he died at 5:50 p.m.

“From police perspective, you know, these things happen in a split second,” said Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, a veteran of leftist protests, at a new conference. “Officers have to make decisions quickly.”

Police noted that Augustus had no recent history of criminal activity. But it’s not the first time police bodycams have backed up officers’ decisions to use deadly force.

“I mean, it is what it is,” Johnson said of the video, according to BBC.

“You know, we are not trying to hide anything. We are not trying to fluff anything. The video speaks for itself. I don’t need to narrate that video for you. When you see it, you come to your own conclusions about what happened.”

And those conclusions are one that protesters likely won’t want to embrace.

MSM Won’t Push SC Mass Killing Story Because It’s So Destructive to Their Narrative

Reported By Ben Marquis | March 18, 2018 at 1:04pm

URL of the original posting site: https://conservativetribune.com/msm-sc-mass-killing-narrative/

Whenever there is a shooting in which three or more people are murdered, the mainstream media devotes ample coverage to the horrific crime in order to perpetuate the liberal agenda and push a narrative that guns are evil and must be strictly regulated, if not totally confiscated. However, when an equally heinous mass murder occurs with a weapon other than a firearm, the media stays stunningly silent, largely because wall-to-wall coverage of the incident does nothing to further the gun control narrative, and may even work against it by revealing how a gun in the hands of a victim could have changed the terrible outcome.

Such is the case with a recent mass murder in South Carolina, in which WCSC reported that 22-year-old Lovequawn Scott has been charged with four counts of murder for the deaths of four family members in their home. Astonishingly, police caught him attempting to flee the scene covered in blood when they arrived to check out a report from another concerned family member of a suspicious death.

The victims, who according to the county coroner all died of blunt force trauma, were identified as 72-year-old Joseph Manigault, 69-year-old Rose Manigault, 42-year-old Kenya Manigault and 15-year-old Faith Manigault. The weapon believed to be used to slaughter them was not an “assault rifle” or shotgun or even a handgun, but a pair of dumbbells, which the suspect allegedly used to beat the four members of his family to death.

Nor is this the first time that the quadruple murder suspect has been in trouble with the law, as WMBF reported that Scott, who had been enrolled at Coastal Carolina University, was arrested by campus police in 2017 and charged with trespassing, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a handgun and carrying a weapon on school property.

But Scott’s rap sheet didn’t begin there, either. WPDE reported in Nov. 2016 that Scott had been arrested on a golf course and charged with a litany of crimes after an altercation with police. In that incident, the burgeoning career criminal was charged with possession of Schedule IV drugs — Xanax pills, MDMA powder and marijuana — other drug offenses, four counts of receiving stolen goods, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, breaking into a vehicle and the unlawful sale, delivery or possession of a handgun by a prohibited person.

When confronted by police in that incident, he attempted to flee the scene, then attempted to pull a loaded handgun on the arresting officer in the scuffle. He was later found to be in possession of stolen goods believed to have come from at least eight separate breaking and entering of vehicles.

With regard to the murders, Bearing Arms took note of the lack of national coverage of this tragic and brutal crime. Writer Tom Knighton pointed out that the media was most likely avoiding this story because it decisively runs counter to their standard anti-gun narrative.

Indeed, a semi-automatic rifle, shotgun or handgun in the possession of any of the four victims — whether the elderly grandparents, the suspect’s aunt or his young niece — could have saved some or all of the victims from their horrific fate at the hands of the much stronger career criminal who bludgeoned them all to death at his leisure. Moreover, it proves that mass murder occurs whether or not the murder possesses or has access to a firearm.

Had the perpetrator of this atrocity used a gun in the murders, the media likely would have been all over it — though they probably would just as quickly have dropped it once the suspect’s lengthy rap sheet entered the conversation. However, since he didn’t use a gun and doesn’t fit the profile of an angry National Rifle Association member, they have avoided it at all costs.

Developing: Broward County Sheriff Ordered Deputies Not to Arrest

Reported By Rebekah Baker | February 27, 2018 at 1:42pm

URL of the original posting site: https://conservativetribune.com/broward-county-sheriff-ordered-deputies-not-arrest/

Just when it seemed like the government incompetence surrounding the events leading up to the Parkland, Florida high school massacre couldn’t get any worse, new information reveals that political motivations and bad policy in the leadership at the sheriff’s office had a pivotal role in failing to prevent the shooting.

First, it was the FBI. A tip that outlined the shooter’s “gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting,” was given to the FBI only six weeks before the deadly massacre occurred, NBC reported. The FBI failed to follow up.

Then, it was local law enforcement. Multiple agents within the Broward County Sheriff’s department cowered in the face of danger, and waited outside the Stoneman Douglas high school as innocent students were killed inside.

And there’s more: According to CNN, “Records obtained from the sheriff’s office by CNN show the law enforcement agency received at least 45 calls for service relating to Cruz or his brother from 2008 to 2017, before the attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland on Feb. 14.

So was it pure incompetence, or was something more sinister at play? It may have been both.

According to a report from RedState, a deeply embedded system of public corruption at the sheriff’s department may be to blame for the murderous shooter slipping right through the sheriff department’s fingers. As reported by CNN, dozens of calls were made to local law enforcement about Nickolas Cruz with descriptions such as “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance,” “missing person,” and more. Most of those warning calls resulted in “no written report.”

What in the world would have motivated an “oversight” like that? According to RedState, it all comes back to Sheriff Israel.

First elected as sheriff in 2012, Israel’s run for re-election in 2016 was highly criticized and controversial, according to an August 2016 report from Sun Sentinel.

“Sheriff Scott Israel has hired from the ranks of his political supporters, building a community outreach wing his critics say doubles as a re-election team,” the Sentinel explained. “Israel’s opponents say he’s built a publicly funded political machine, paying back supporters with jobs and using them to keep him in office. They say the money could be better spent, particularly after the sheriff complained about not having enough funding to secure the county courthouse, where a murder suspect recently escaped.”

In other words, Israel rewarded his political supporters with high-paying cushy jobs within the sheriff’s office. The outreach manager position, for example, earned a $78,489 salary. That position was held by the husband of Israel’s campaign manager, the Sentinel reported.

So, a group of unqualified people filled the positions at the sheriff’s office. And we wonder why they failed to stop Nickolas Cruz?

It gets worse. An ominous foreshadowing of the deadly shooting was revealed in the form of a 2016 sheriff re-election campaign questionnaire. “Why are you running and what gives you an edge over your opponents?” the questionnaire asked Israel.

See Israel’s answer below:

I am the incumbent Sheriff for the past four years, and a career law enforcement officer with over three decades in the profession.  The results speak for themselves. As our sheriff, I successfully implemented new policies and approaches to public safety that sharply reduced violent crime and burglary rates – the sharpest declines in the entire State of Florida. My innovative initiatives also helped keep children in school and out of jail, greatly expanding the juvenile civil citation program and making issuance of civil citations mandatory for BSO deputies. I worked to combat gun violence by openly lobbying legislators to curtail Stand Your Ground, block open carry legislation, and block legislation allowing concealed guns on school campuses.

(Emphasis added.)

You read that right. Policies put into place within the sheriff’s department by Israel Scott discouraged arresting or expelling juveniles, apparently even if their behavior was violent or threatening.

Cruz had a history of violence at school and was never officially expelled. He had a history of violent behavior at home but was never arrested. And one day, he stormed into a school building and murdered 17 innocent people — but it was too late.

When pressed for answers on allegations about his alleged public corruption, Israel deflected. “Lions don’t care about the opinions of sheep,” he reportedly said at the time.

And lions apparently care more about their own interests than the lives of those they swore to protect.

BLM Said to Fry Police Like Bacon, Now They Are Begging for Cops to Come Back

Reported By Kimberly J Smith | January 2, 2018 at 1:14pm

URL of the original posting site: https://conservativetribune.com/blm-police-bacon-begging-cops/

The city of Baltimore is reaping the consequences of painting all police officers as villains, and it has no one to blame but itself. In 2017, the city set a new record for the most murders per capita in the city’s history.

The Baltimore Sun reported that there were 343 homicides last year, which is a rate of 55.8 killings per 100,000 people. Baltimore has not seen a number that high since 2015, which happened to be the year Freddie Gray died from injuries he suffered while in police custody.

If you’ll recall, the Freddie Gray and Michael Brown cases galvanized the Black Lives Matter movement across the country. Anti-police protesters gathered in droves and chanted, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon” at riots, helping to gin up hatred toward police. Baltimore has not been the same since.

Of course they do. But they should be blaming Black Lives Matter for starting the anti-police movement, and liberal politicians for fueling it.

Baltimore pastor and activist Rev. Kinji Scott seems to understand how and why things went wrong. He told NPR that he blamed progressives, other activists, politicians, and liberal journalists for fueling the anti-police movement that lead to Baltimore’s problems. He also said that police distanced themselves from communities, and members of the community distanced themselves even further.

Indeed. Things may have taken a different turn if those in charge hadn’t coddled rioters and activist while simultaneously working against the police.

Police Commissioner Kevin Davis told The Washington Post that he expected violence to decrease after Gray’s death, but instead riots emboldened criminals.

Sadly, it should surprise no one that Baltimore’s murder rate has climbed to an all-time high. Criminals tend to take over when police are not around to stop them. Back Lives Matter and their racial justice agenda is a danger not only to police officers, but also to those who want to live in Baltimore without fearing for their life. As long as BLM touts their anti-police, social justice rhetoric, things may never change.

Watch: Off-Duty Cop Drops Thug in Costco, Stops America’s Next Mass Killing

Reported By Cillian Zeal | December 20, 2017 at 6:16am

URL of the original posting site: https://conservativetribune.com/off-duty-cop-costco/

We’ve said it before, and we’ll keep on saying it: A good guy with a gun is the best way to counter a bad guy with a gun.

Capt. Michael Howell of the Kansas City (Kansas) Police Department proved that yet again when he dropped a thug in a Costco who could have been America’s next mass shooter. The incident happened last month but the video was just released last week, according to the Kansas City Star. It shows how Howell managed to kill Ronald O. Hunt.

It happened on Nov. 26 in a Costco in Lenexa, Kansas. According to Howell, he was in the store when he heard Hunt say, “I’m an off-duty U.S. Marshal, I’m here to kill people.”

“I knew that there was a threat that had to be stopped,” Howell said during a Friday news conference.

As Hunt moved through the aisles in what was described as a methodical fashion, Howell tracked the potential killer and then surprised him with his weapon.

“’Police, drop the gun. Don’t move,’” Howell recalls commanding Hunt.

After Howell repeated his command, Hunt turned on the off-duty cop with his weapon.

“That is when I fired at him,” Howell said. “And he went down.”

Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe said that Howell “acted with extreme courage, and saved an unknown amount of innocent lives” and that he wouldn’t face charges over the shooting.

Howell said he just did what had to be done.

“My greatest fear was we had kids with their moms, with their grandmas, with their dads,” Howell said.

“It was little kids running and screaming. And seeing the fear in their faces and knowing whatever it took, I had to do whatever necessary to end this threat so they wouldn’t get hurt.”

Thankfully, as Hunt went through the store with a pistol and a shopping cart, most of the customers fled out the emergency exit.

Meanwhile, Howell should really never have been in the store that day. He had originally planned to go to the Kansas City Chiefs game, but decided to stay at home and get some rest, instead. He had gone to Costco to get an electric fireplace.

As for claims that he was a hero, Howell downplayed the idea.

“I’m just a cop doing my job,” Howell said.

Of course, you won’t hear much in the mainstream media about this off-duty cop doing his job, and how he managed to stop a potential mass murderer before the wannabe killer could injure a single person. That’s because the idea of a good guy with a gun trumping a bad guy with a gun is anathema to the media’s narrative. Nevertheless, we salute Capt. Michael Howell. His quick thinking and bravery saved lives. That makes him a hero — and one more Americans should know about.

LMAO! Look What Cops Just CUT For This NFL Team – This Is AWESOME!

Published by ClashDaily.com | on October 24, 2017

Remember what they say about Karma? The NFL is getting a stern reminder.

Colin Kaepernick started protesting against the flag and the anthem because he just couldn’t stand the racist police. Before he ‘Took A Knee’, he sat on his rump on the bench.

He explained why in 2016:

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
Source: NFL

Did he just say that police officers are murdering people because of their race?

Yes, he is. But it’s important to remember that this is where the ‘Take A Knee’ started — with bias against police officers — before it became a catch-all for progressive ideology including the ‘Gender Pay Gap’.

The NFL is fine with the anti-cop actions of the players, but not so much on some other issues.

Check out Doug’s latest video enumerating the issues the NFL isn’t so keen on their players raising awareness for:

Although many have forgotten what this ‘Take A Knee’ nonsense started over, there’s one group that didn’t forget: Law Enforcement officers. And officers in Miami aren’t going to let the slander slide.

Florida police officers are upset about the kneeling protest, and have decided that they can protest NFL games by not working them. They are reducing the number of officers scheduled for security at the games.

There were a third less officers available for the Dolphins game on Sunday.

BAM!

Check it out:

Rather than 400 officers, just 270 were expected to help maintain order as the New York Jets played the home team.

As of Friday, only 175 officers had volunteered to work the game, requiring some officers to be forced into working. Those who worked will be paid overtime.

“This whole movement started against police officers,” Rivera told CBS News. “And now it’s morphed into disrespecting the flag and the country.”
Source: Washington Examiner

This, I believe, is the correct response.

If the players think that cops are racists getting away with murder because the system is rigged — withdraw the police that are there to serve and protect. See how that works out.

Offended cops say it all has to do with respect.

“This whole movement started against police officers,” [Dade Police Benevolent Association President John] Rivera said. “And now it’s morphed into disrespecting the flag and the country.”

Miami-Dade Police released a statement, saying, “Any shortfall in volunteer officers doesn’t necessarily mean that the game will result in less safety.”
Source: CBS Miami

Miami isn’t the only place seeing pushback.

Last month, Cleveland police refused to hold the American flag during pregame ceremonies because of the kneeling clowns.

Cleveland’s police union will not be holding the American flag for a pregame ceremony for the Brown’s first game Sept. 10, Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association President Steve Loomis said late Friday.

Union members had planned on participating in the flag ceremony for the first game on Sept. 10 until some Browns players kneeled during the National Anthem before a preseason game, Loomis said in an interview with cleveland.com.

The players not standing for the national anthem is offensive because of the sacrifices that people make that allows these guys to enjoy the success that they have, Loomis said. While they’re benefiting from protection of the flag they are kneeling in disrespect of it, he said.

Kaep Loves Protesting on Live TV, but Here’s the 1 Photo He Wants Kept Secret

Reported

Advertisement – story continues below

When former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began the anti-American trend of sitting or taking a knee while the national anthem was played, he insisted he was using his platform to raise awareness and start a broader dialogue regarding perceived racial inequalities in America and police brutality.

Other players who have joined the protest trend have echoed those sentiments, and while some of them may truly believe it and think they aren’t being disrespectful or un-American, the reality is that many Americans do indeed find their actions to be quite disrespectful and offensive.

And in Kaepernick’s case, just a wee bit hypocritical.

You see, while the bi-racial Kaepernick rails against the perceived oppression of minorities in America by a “white supremacist” system, he himself doesn’t appear to have been all that “oppressed” and held back from opportunity by “white people,” but was in fact raised and presented with a multitude of opportunity by white people, namely his adoptive white mother and father.

Thought Crime: Police Officer Under Investigation for Criticism of Black Lives Matter. Alt-Left activist triggered by police officer’s meme on Facebook, demands officer be condemned and fired

Since the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement — and largely because of it — America’s law enforcement officers have dealt with increased danger and resentment. They are accused of being racist and violent and face ever-rising hostility from the civilians they are supposed to protect.

And now it seems they can’t even protest this sad state of affairs without putting their jobs at risk.

More Than 80 Arrested In 3rd Night Of Protests In St. Louis;

A St. Louis police officer is under investigation for an anti-Black Lives Matter post on Facebook — made in the midst of violent, destructive rioting that took place under the Black Lives Matter banner. The investigation follows a complaint by Alt-leftist Lisa Clancy, who posted a photograph of herself participating in a Black Lives Matter rally on Facebook. In response, the unnamed police officer posted a meme describing Black Lives Matter as “the Klan with a tan” and “domestic terrorists.”

“Letting that behavior happen undermines the very trust and relationships that are very important right now, especially when our community is in such a crisis moment,” Clancy told local news station KMOV.

When the exchange occurred, St. Louis resembled a war zone. Violent, destructive riots in response to the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley were a nightly occurrence. While Clancy was writing anti-law enforcement propaganda on Facebook, St. Louis police officers were dealing with a veritable insurgency.

But this is irrelevant to Clancy, who believes the officer deserves to lose his job for exercising the very same right to free speech that Clancy exercised both in protesting the police and then bragging about it on Facebook.

“He needs to be let go. I think they need to send a strong message that this kind of behavior is unacceptable,” Clancy told KMOV. Tellingly, the existence of an internal investigation is not enough for Clancy, who is demanding that the St. Louis police department prostrate itself at the altar of the Alt-Left and publicly condemn the officer for his thought crime.

I think that their failure to condemn it publicly suggests that there’s systemic racism in the institution,” she said.

Breaking: Female Cop Assassinated by Cop Hater in ‘Unprovoked Attack’

Video of Alexander Bonds, 34, walking out of a store in New York’s Fordham Heights neighborhood – at 12:30 AM on Wednesday – show him B-lining it to Officer Miosotis Familia’s mobile command unit and firing a single shot to her head.

Dressed in all black from head to toe, Bonds then made a run for it.

The officer’s partner called for backup.

“Shots fired!” you can ear the officer scream on an audio recording. “I need a f—ing bus! 10-85 10-85! My partner’s shot! My partner’s shot! My partner’s shot! Hurry up central!”

Two cops responding to the call caught up with Bonds and shot him dead after he pulled a revolver on them.

He was killed when the two cops fired back, with an innocent bystander wounded in the crossfire.

The suspect’s silver revolver was recovered at the scene. The unidentified victim was standing next to Bonds, but had no connection to the killer, sources said. It was unclear if he was shot by the suspect or police.screen-shot-2017-07-05-at-1-30-44-pm

NY Daily News

Familia, a 12 year veteran of the NYPD, was pronounced dead at the hospital a few hours later.

After seeing Officer Miosotis Familia sitting in her police cruiser, Bonds walked up to her without cause and fired a single shot into her face, killing her.

His actions are not against his character. Bonds has an extensive rap sheet, of which one offense is assaulting a cop with brass knuckles back in 2001. His social media is also flooded with anti-police comments.

According to Heavy: Bonds made several posts about police on his Facebook page in the past year.

In another post seemingly about police, in October, he wrote, “Its because they feel the above what they should which is the law but they are not the law SMFH.”

In September 2016, he posted a video titled “Mad as Hill,” in which he talked about police and his time in prison.

A transcript of the video:

“Police man. Those that been up north know man, that police is f*ggots,” he said. “Don’t think every brother, cousin, uncle you got that get killed in jail is because of a blood or crip or Latin King killing them. Nah, police be killing them and saying that an inmate killed them.”

Also in the video, Bonds says, “I’m not playing, Mr. officer. I don’t care about 100 police watching this. … I got broken ribs for a reason, son, we gonna shake. We gonna do something. We can’t be dying for free, getting raped for free, just for them to give you hush money. Is you stupid? I don’t want the money. I want justice. … I’m not hesitating. It ain’t happening. I wasn’t a bitch in jail and I’m not going to be a bitch in these streets.”

His activity on Facebook continues to show his disdain for cops.

A few days earlier, Bonds shared a video of a police officer calling out “criminal cops,” and wrote, “That ain’t nothing new.”

He also shared a video of a police officer in Merced, California, stopping a teen on a bicycle that was posted by Media Takeout with the title, “Tiny Offcer Tries To BRUTALIZE Teen . . . And FAILS!!”

He wrote, “She don’t even know u fuxk u mean,” as the caption.

In January, Bonds “liked” a Facebook page titled “Return Judy Clark to Our Community,” a group that supports the release of Judith Clark, a member of the Weather Underground convicted of felony murder in the 1981 Brink’s armored car robbery that left a security guard and two Nyack, New York, police officers dead. Governor Andrew Cuomo granted Clark clemency in December, moving her parole date up.

It also seems like he was a Hillary supporter.

In November, just before Election Day, he shared a conspiracy video from Occupy Democrats that claimed voting machines were changing Hillary Clinton votes to Trump.

“Watch out also go vote our voices matter believe that if I could I kno u would,” he wrote.

This cop shooting is very similar to the December 2014 assassination of two officers. Both officers were sitting in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street.

Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were targeted by a gunman who had posted anti-police messages on his social media feeds in the days before the shooting, officials said.

The officer was shot less than two miles away from where Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo was murdered by an armed ex-con in November.

Students Stage Walkout After MN City Votes To Disband Local Police Department

URL of the original posting site: http://conservativetribune.com/teenage-students-right-way-police/

Hundreds of well-behaved middle and high school students staged a peaceful protest Tuesday by walking out of their classes in Forest Lake, Minnesota, in response to the city’s presumably leftist-led council having voted a day earlier to literally disband the local police force.

As reported by local station KARE, the students marched out of their respective schools at 1:15 p.m. and made their way to City Hall, where they then proudly chanted “FLPD!” before eventually advancing into the council chambers. The best part about the whole event was that there was not a smidgen of violence or debauchery of any kind. It was peaceful and organized, in stark contrast with the depraved protests and riots preferred by leftist anti-cop hooligans.

Watch the kids arriving at City Hall in the video below:

Police Chief Richard Peterson was touched, to say the least.

“This is absolutely amazing,” he told KARE. “The students are fantastic. The community is fantastic. We are absolutely humbled by the support we’ve been given, really appreciate it.”

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the council voted Monday evening to disband the local police force of 23 officers and outsource its policing to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to save $385,000 per year.

Speaking Tuesday morning on Fox News, councilwoman Mara Bain, who reportedly voted against the measure, noted that the $385,000 amounted to just $36 a year per household, which she claimed was an amount her constituents were willing to bear.

“Our residents have said we will pay it,” she said. “We will pay more.”

Thankfully, the efforts of Forest Lake’s students seemingly worked, as the city council reportedly withdraw its deal with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office a day later.

“This has been only the result of this community banding together and showing its … undying support for the police department,” Bain told the Forest Lake Times after the decision was announced. “This is a great day for the Forest Lake community.”

It should also serve as a crucial reminder to liberal troublemakers and rioters of what a peaceful protest ought to actually look like.

Shock Vid: Pretty Reporter Attacked on Air Covering Refugees… Anchor Watching Says “Oh, God”

URL of the original posting site: http://conservativetribune.com/reporter-attacked-refugees-anchor/

Coexist and welcome everybody with open arms, regardless of their background. That liberal sentiment may look fine on bumper stickers, but what happens when a group of people has absolutely no interest in “coexisting” with you?

A young television reporter in Italy just found the answer, but both her safety and worldview were put at risk in the process. Francesca Parisella is a corespondent for Matrix Channel 5, based in Rome. According to BizPac Review, she and her cameraman were covering a story about African refugees camped out at a Rome train station.

Instead of being welcomed and granted enlightening interviews, however, Parisella and her camera operator were forced to flee in terror.

“Their hope is especially to reach Milan … and then to move to Northern Europe,” the reporter began to explain to the camera while live on the air, according to a translation provided with the YouTube video. “It’s important to know that this reception –“

Parisella never finished that sentence. Her tone shifted to fear and an assault began to unfold.

You can watch the clip here (WARNING: Some viewers may find these images disturbing):

“What’s happening, Francesca?” asked Nicola Porro, the Matrix 5 anchor monitoring the live stream.

Parisella and the cameraman struggled to put words together while running away from the scene.

“They assaulted us, Nicola!” she exclaimed.

Her next words were directed at the people on the street.

“What do you want?” she shouted, still running. “What do you want? You’re crazy!” Then she screamed.

The crew back at the news station could only watch in horror as the incident continued.

“Oh, God, Francesca,” Porro yelled. “Get out of there!”

Parisella and her cameraman barely managed to escape unharmed, thanks to a taxi driver who reportedly pulled the pair off the street and into the safety of his cab.

“Francesca is upset but she is fine. They destroyed the camera and shook the operator,” Porro explained to viewers several minutes later. “Thanks to a taxi driver, if not, it would be a lot worse.”

“The police told me that I was very lucky,” the reporter confirmed on Twitter. Then, referring to the taxi driver, she added, “Roberto saved my life.”

There been no official confirmation that the people who attacked Francesca Parisella were immigrants, but her statements and the video of the incident strongly suggest that this was the case.

It is unfortunately not the first time — and likely not the last — that refugees have attacked people in a country where they are guests. Not long ago, a Muslim immigrant attempted to stab a woman at a camp in Austria. A similar event occurred in Germany. Here in the United States, numerous attacks have been carried out by immigrants and refugees from Muslim countries. A Somali refugee carried out a stabbing attack in Ohio just months ago, while a shocking terrorist attack that killed 14 people at a Christmas party in California involved a radical Muslim immigrant.

It shouldn’t take dramatic attacks on journalists for the world to realize a simple fact: Not all cultures share Western values, and you cannot “coexist” with people who see you as a sexual object, enemy or target.

BOOM: Texas Moves to Classify Attacks on Cops as Hate Crimes

Texas legislators filed a bill Monday that would make it a true hate

crime (versus a phony one) to purposely and maliciously target either police officers or first responders for execution.

“We’re going to ask that it become an emergency legislative item for the governor so that as soon as we get to Austin in January, we pass it right away, make it law right away,” State Rep. Jason Villalba told Houston station KHOU.

What made this bill especially noteworthy was that it was filed less than 24 hours after a San Antonio police officer was gunned down.

“(Detective Benjamin) Marconi was shot twice in the head while sitting in his patrol car outside of police headquarters late Sunday morning,” WFAA reported. “He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.”supportribbon

Thankfully, the suspect in this case, Otis Tyrone McKane, was quickly identified, tracked down and taken into custody, courtesy of surveillance footage from the scene.

According to Fox News, however, three other officers across the nation were also shot Sunday in similar “incidents (that) appeared to be targeted attacks and involved law enforcement officers sitting unsuspectingly in their patrol cars, either waiting in traffic or after pulling vehicles over for traffic stops.” These three officers made it out alive.

It was clear nevertheless that changes needed to be made to the law to discourage crazed maniacs and possible “Black Lives Matter” goons from targeting police officers for execution.

“Texas will arm our prosecutors, D.A.’s and judges with every tool they need to punish to the fullest extent possible those who harm our first responders,” Villalba also told KHOU.

Until the bill became law, though, police officers in Texas had no other choice than to be on their guard.

“In the wake of the tragic ambush that occurred in San Antonio along with the other three police shootings that happened across the nation yesterday, I have reminded our officers to take extreme caution as they perform their duties and to always be aware of their surroundings and cover each other,” the Dallas Police Department’s Interim Chief David Pughes reportedly told his officers.cop-terror-600a-ci

Giuliani: Uniformed Police Officers Not Allowed on Democratic Convention Floor

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” in an appearance from the site of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani called the convention “the most anti-police” and “the most anti-law enforcement” he had ever seen.

However, he also said that according to “high-ranking police officers” in Philadelphia, uniformed law enforcement was not allowed on the floor of the convention.

“This is the most anti-police, anti-law enforcement convention I’ve ever seen in my whole life. There was not a uniformed police officer allowed on the convention floor. I was told that by four high-ranking police officers, two of whom I’ve known for a very long time. And then I walked the floor for very long time and I couldn’t find a single officer. Go look at your footage.  You find me a uniform. Hillary Clinton didn’t want uniformed police officers on the convention floor.”

WOW: What Hillary Just Said at NAACP Meeting About Cops Will Have You FUMING

waving flagPosted on July 19, 2016

The Hilldebeest is not letting up on the false narrative that cops are involved in systemic racism. Her words will have you fuming with rage. Quite unbelievable.

By Jerome Woehrle

With the fervor of a left-wing ideologue, Hillary Clinton accused America’s police of racism in a speech today to the NAACP, saying that “We need to recognize our privilege,” and end the “systemic racism” that exists in the criminal justice system.

Clinton falsely argued that racism pervades police shootings, saying, “let’s admit it, there is clear evidence that African-Americans are disproportionately killed in police incidents compared to any other group.” Most police shooting victims are white, but it is true that 26% of those shot by police in 2015 were black, compared to 13% of the population. But that higher rate simply reflects the higher crime rate in the black community, and the fact that black suspects are disproportionately likely to pose a risk to police. As the Daily Wire notes, “Blacks are more likely to kill cops than be killed by cops. This is according to FBI data, which also found that 40 percent of cop killers are black.” Moreover, a “police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black than a cop killing an unarmed black person.” This is backed up even by a recent study by a liberal-leaning black Harvard economics professor, Roland G. Fryer. That study, “‘analyzing more than 1,000 officer-involved shootings across the country, reports that there is zero evidence of racial bias in police shootings.”Epidemic of racism

Indeed, as the Manhattan Institute’s Heather Mac Donald notes in the Wall Street Journal, a “‘deadly force’ lab study at Washington State University by researcher Lois James found that participants were biased in favor of black suspects, over white or Hispanic ones, in simulated threat scenarios. The research, published in 2014 in the Journal of Experimental Criminology, confirmed what Ms. James had found previously in studying active police officers, military personnel and the general public.” Nor are white officers more likely to shoot blacks than black and Hispanic officers are. As Mac Donaldnotes, “In 2015 a Justice Department analysis of the Philadelphia Police Department found that white police officers were less likely than black or Hispanic officers to shoot unarmed black suspects.” And the risk of violent crime comes disproportionately from blacks. More than half of all murders in America are committed by blacks, who are just 13% of the population. (See FBI, “2014 Uniform Crime Reports: Crime in the United States,” Table 43A, Arrests by Race, 2014.)

Clinton also accused the police of racism in stops and searches, saying that “African-American men are far more likely to be stopped and searched by police.” But as a black lawyer and member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Peter Kirsanow, noted in 2015, the fact that a higher percentage of blacks are stopped by police than whites does not show racial discrimination, since “several studies over the last 20 years (including data adduced before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights) show that black drivers commit various types of traffic offenses – including speeding, driving under suspension, DUI, and running red lights and stop signs – more often than drivers of other races.” While there are individual cases of cops racially-profiling black motorists, most police do not engage in such racial profiling, and the fact that a higher percentage of black motorists are stopped reflects a higher black crime rate, not racial profiling.

Clinton also falsely insinuated that racist school officials were colluding with racist police to put black students in jail, saying that we must “dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline that starts in school and diverts too many African-American kids out of school and into the criminal justice system.” This reflects a misconception, widespread on the Left, that there is institutional racism in school suspensions, which supposedly results in blacks being suspended at a higher rate even though blacks allegedly do not behave worse on average than whites.More Evidence

The Next Phase: All of These Peaceful Protests are Soon Going to End

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – A frustrated protester told reporters at a union-sponsored Black Lives Matter event that he thinks “It is time for people to really rise up against this injustice that’s been going on for too long” and that “All of these peaceful protests are soon going to end. We are not going to continue these peaceful protests while you murder our children.”Leftist monster race

The protester is Nicholas Heyward, whose 13-year-old Nicholas Heyward, Jr. was killed by a Housing Authority officer in 1994 while playing with a toy guy at a housing project in Brooklyn.

In a 2014 interview, Heyward expressed his frustration over the system and “community leaders” like the Rev. Al Sharpton, saying:

I don’t look at someone like Al Sharpton as a civil rights leader anymore. His inner circle isn’t full of grassroots activists. He’s surrounded by flashy lawyers and a traveling circus. I’ve been around for 20 years. In all the cases Sharpton has been involved in, we’ve seen the same routine. I’ve never seen justice – in the sense that officers were truly held accountable. It was almost solely about money.core belief

In February, however, Hayward had expressed some hope at the case being of his son’s death being investigated and the news that police “would treat this as if it were a cold case” according to AMNY.com.

“It’s been a struggle for 22 years of injustice,” Heyward said, standing outside of the DA’s office, surrounded by signs with his son’s face on it and that of former-Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes. “I’m still feeling pain. I’m emotional about the whole situation.”

A spokesman for the DA’s office said the case is being reviewed.

“We are in the process of looking into this tragic case and will review the original investigation,” the spokesman said.Epidemic of racism

Mr. Heyward spoke at a protest in Brooklyn on Thursday morning that focused a variety of leftist issues, including higher wages for fast food workers.

Everyone Needs To See The Video On Police That TV Star Mike Rowe Just Shared

While some attack the thin line that protects all Americans, Mike Rowe has come to the defense of America’s embattled police officers. Rowe recently posted on his Facebook page a tribute to police officers written by Paul Harvey and first posted on YouTube in 2013.

“What is a policeman made of?” wrote Harvey, the former radio journalist whose father was a police officer killed when Harvey was only 3. “He, of all men, is once the most needed and the most unwanted. He’s a strangely nameless creature who is ‘sir’ to his face and ‘fuzz’ to his back.”

“If you’ve seen this before, I suspect it’s been on your mind. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it,” wrote Rowe, current host of CNN’s Somebody’s Gotta Do It and former host of the Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs.

The post was a hit with Facebook readers.

“As a police officer I wanted to thank you for posting this. This narration is one of my favorites because it couldn’t be more true,” wrote Joseph Green. “I don’t know when exactly, or why for that matter, police have become demonized. It is very disheartening that the profession I chose because I felt it was very honorable has become a hot button issue and the impetus for moral strife. You wield tremendous power and influence over the public, whether you recognize it or not, and I wanted to let you know that I’m glad you brought this to the masses.”

Others were more succinct.

“Thanks to all the police officers that keep our streets safe and catch the bad guys,” wrote Amber Hopek.

”Thanks for reminding people that police are human beings who attempt to do super human things daily,” said Chandler Thomas.

‪Harvey’s tribute reflects the reality that in all times, police officers face the scrutiny of the public.

“Gulled statistics wave the fan over the stinkers, underscore instances of dishonesty and brutality because they are ‘new.’ What they really mean is that they are exceptional, unusual, not commonplace,” Harvey wrote. “Buried under the frost is the fact: Less than one-half of one percent of policemen misfit the uniform. That’s a better average than you’d find among clergy!”

Harvey then goes on to note the ways in which a police officer is expected to perform opposite tasks at the same time and is never given any credit when things go right, and only blame when they go wrong.

“The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy and a gentleman,” Harvey concludes. “And, of course, he’d have to be genius. … For he will have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

Black Lives Matter in Baltimore. Kinder Gentler Policing, Record Murder Rates

waving flagReported by Michael Becker

 Black Killing Black

Black lives matter in Baltimore? Not to the black leadership in Baltimore they don’t. Freddie Gray was a punk with at least 17 arrests to his credit. He was not all that long out of prison and was facing felony charges that could send him back to prison when he ran from the cops in April and was arrested.

Gray was taken into custody, appears to have been bounced around in the back of a police van, sustained injuries while in custody and died from those injuries. We haven’t seen, and if the prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby has anything to do with it we won’t see, the results of any investigations into the conduct of the officers charged in his death.

Here’s what we do know though. Cops are tired of being assaulted by the thugs in the black community and then being arrested or hounded off the force when they do their jobs. The net result? Here it is.

Image

In May, with a record 42 murders in the city, arrests dropped from about 3,700 in 2014 to just over a 1,000 this year. And as for June’s murders, after 8 days there have been 13 murders in Baltimore. We’ve not been able to find a listing of the dead by race, but we’d bet out of the 55 murders since May 1 a minimum of 54 were black. The “leadership” in the black community isn’t smart enough to realize that by calling the cops off crime is going to go up, and the people who will be real victims will be members of their own “community.”

Here are two cops speaking with a Baltimore reporter.

vo2

The political structure in Baltimore – all Democrat, very far left, and all black – are in denial about why arrests are down.

“There’s enough narcotics on the streets of Baltimore to keep it intoxicated for a year,” Batts said Wednesday. “That amount of drugs has thrown off the balance on the streets of Baltimore.” (This is, City Paper notes, a bit exaggerated.) Batts also said that officers have been patrolling in pairs rather than the normal solo beats, which effectively halves the number of patrols.

The FOP offers a bleaker, though related, rationale for the decrease in arrests: Officers are afraid, its leader says. On the one hand, they’re beset by hostile citizens who carefully monitor every arrest, crowding around officers who are just trying to do their jobs and capturing the detentions on camera, lest they turn into another Freddie Gray situation. On the other hand, police are also afraid a prosecutor will haul them in front of a jury.Call-911

The armed force that is responsible to keep the peace in Baltimore believes the top of their chain-of-command is out to get the cops. We are more than willing to believe that there are more than a few cops in Baltimore – or any American city – who have no business being on the force. The problem is, what Mosby, etal, are doing is not the right way to root out the bad cops. All they’re doing is putting Baltimore’s most at risk citizens at even more risk.

It’s going to be a very long, likely very hot, summer.freedom combo 2

The police ‘instant replay’

waving flagHoppy's Commentary Hoppy’s Commentary | June 11, 2015

URL Of the Original Posting Site: http://wvmetronews.com/2015/06/11/the-police-instant-replayCall-911

Instant replay has become invaluable in sports. It greatly improves the ability of game officials to get the call right. The inconvenience of the delay is offset by the advantages of applying the rules accurately and fairly. Instant replay also benefits from a controlled environment of perfect camera angles, definitive rules and expert reviewers.

The latest application of instant replay and, as a result, instant analysis, is police work. The country watched the phone-shot video multiple times of the police responding to teenagers fighting at a pool party in McKinney, Texas. Attention focused on Officer Eric Casebolt, who shoved a 14-year-old girl to the ground and pulled his gun. Police Chief Greg Conley said Casebolt’s actions were “indefensible” and that the officer had resigned.

We’ll agree with the chief on this and defer to his judgment. However it’s worth noting what did not happen at the chaotic scene; the officer didn’t shoot anyone or even fire his weapon and no one was injured. There are suggestions of racism—the officer is white and the teenage victim is black—but there is conflicting evidence as to what role, if any, race played in the police actions.

But the larger question is this: Why is this a national story worthy of several days of headline coverage? There are a couple of reasons:

  • First, there is compelling video. The fact that people are watching drives the agenda in a competitive environment.
  • Second, it fits the current storyline that “the police” are out of control.
  • Third, the race card can be played easily.Picture2

We have a real-life instant replay where news consumers are likely to make their own judgments about the decisions made by the police and others seen in the video.

WVLY’s Howard Monroe told me on “Talkline” Wednesday he believes this is a good thing because it exposed the actions of an overzealous officer and serves as a warning to other police of what not to do.  But Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt offered on the same program that subjecting more behavior to such intense national scrutiny will have unintended consequences. “Here’s your dystopian fantasy for the future; it’s all on camera. Everything is recorded and you better do everything perfectly because if you do it wrong, you won’t get a chance to even things out.” And that, Stirewalt suggests, will lead to “cultural paralysis” nobody will do anything. That may be hyperbolic, but there is already evidence the intense scrutiny of police actions is leading to police inaction.Picture4

CNN interviewed two Baltimore police who spoke anonymously about police simply reacting to events instead of being pro-active because they’re afraid of making a mistake. “Even if you have a reasonable suspicion, nine out of 10 times that officer is going to keep on driving,” one officer said.

Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow Heather MacDonald wrote in the Wall Street Journal recently about the “Ferguson effect.” Violent crime is rising rapidly in major cities across the country as police disengage and the criminal element feels more empowered.

In sports, the instant replay resets the game back within the parameter of the rules. In police work the instant play can also be beneficial when it provides an accurate account of a serious event. However, if the McKinney, Texas, video is an example of where news coverage of the police is headed, where every action caught on video is subject to nationwide scrutiny, then the law enforcement game is going to change completely.Civil Race Both freedom combo 2

Swedish Police Release Extensive Report Detailing Control Of 55 ‘No-Go Zones’ By Muslim Criminal Gangs

America are you paying attention

Swedish police have ceded control over 55 “no-go zones” to predominately Muslim criminal gangs.

An extensive report mapping out 55 no-go zones was released Oct. 24, showing where law enforcement has all but handed control to criminal gangs.

Officers frequently face outright attacks when trying to enter the areas, which is a step up from the previous problem with attacks on mailmen, fire trucks, ambulances and similar services. Fire trucks and ambulances had to wait for police escort to enter the areas, but now the police themselves need protection.

The no-go areas heavily coincide with the map of the 186 “exclusion areas” aka. crowded, predominantly Muslim immigrant ghettos, where education is low, employment is lower and the only local business thriving is drug dealing.

America are you paying attention

As the real law backs away, organized crime emerges to take its place. The police report notes “a wider clientel [in the areas] are increasingly turning to the criminal authorities for justice” in a Godfather-like fashion. Unofficial courts and punishments are often meted out according to the codes of the home cultures of the dominant gangs. The report also points out that there are vehicle checkpoints at the borders of some of these areas. The bad news is it’s not the police doing them; it’s the gangs securing home turf against law enforcement and rival gangs.

The gangs try to keep a semi-low profile in many areas so as not to interfere with the “business” of dealing drugs, protection rackets and similar illicit activity.

Others seek active confrontation with police to establish absolute dominance.

America are you paying attention

A pair of policemen in May were in pursuit of a suspect and unwisely entered the no-go zone of the southern city of Landskrona. Their car was rammed and the officers were forced out of the car. They were cornered by a crowd of some 50 hostile thugs and drew their weapons to hold them back and called for immediate backup.

Several nearby patrol cars responded to the call and sped towards the scene, only to be ordered to stop half a mile away — just outside the no-go border. The police commander didn’t send the backup units in, fearing escalation and all-out war. The cornered police officers were left to fend for themselves. As luck would have it, one of the officers knew a few residents who interfered and convinced the thugs to let them leave.

In response to these no-go zones, the Swedish police is expanding its soft approach of dialogue and understanding. After the extensive 2013 Stockholm ghetto riots with hundreds of burned cars and buildings, police responded by mostly staying away and sending forth special “dialogue officers” to grill halal hot dogs with the miscreants and make them see the errors of their ways.

Starting next year, the Stockholm Policy Academy will be moved to Södertörns Högskola, where the new curriculum will be “progressive” with more focus on cultural sensitivity, ethical awareness, gender issues and more. The aspiring police officers will achieve “greater understanding of the intercultural perspective.”comment 01

Johnathan Gentry, a man you need to listen to about Ferguson…

Complete Message

Mr. Gentry doesn’t mince any words, and he’s right on the money.

gentry

When all is said and done, the mess in Ferguson is about four things.

  1. Michael Brown. Michael Brown was killed by a Ferguson police officer.  Apparently he had stolen some cigars from a convenience store earlier in the day, about $45 worth of cigars.  The cop who killed him didn’t know about the theft.  There will be endless stories about Michael Brown the college bound angel and endless stories about Michael Brown the punk.  In a month only Brown’s parents will still be dealing with his death.
  2. The Ferguson PD. In the dictionary under incompetent jackasses you’ll find the Ferguson PD and especially the police chief.  There’s the alleged assault of the officer who shot Brown.  There will questions about the shooting, whether it was a “good” shooting. Was Brown walking away and was the officer in fear for his life?  This shooting will be investigated to death, no pun intended.  The St. Louis County Sheriff will no doubt investigate, Ferguson PD will probably investigate, the FBI certainly will investigate, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Eric Holder’s Department of Justice investigate for a whole bunch of reason.  When all is said and done, nobody will be happy with what will certainly be conflicting stories coming as a result of the investigations.
  3. The People of Ferguson. See Mr. Gentry’s video.  Your Curmudgeon is not a friend of the cops in this mess and based on what is now known – and there will certainly be more – we think the cop made a really bad shooting and he should likely be prosecuted.  That said, the people of Ferguson are acting like, we don’t want to say “animals” because animals have much better sense than the people we’ve seen reacting to this mess.  We absolutely agree with Mr. Gentry.  In addition, we would extend the stupidity of the residents of Ferguson to the residents of just about every “community of color” in the nation.  For the reasons that racist guy Gentry cites on the video.  Until those “communities” confront what’s going on in their neighborhood, nothing is going to change.  We’re not holding out much hope on that.
  4. Police Militarization. In our anything but humble opinion, this is the one area that it’s actually possible to do something positive.  Cops aren’t cops anymore, they’re the occupying force in every city and town in the country.  SWAT teams are used to serve fairly routine warrants.  Cops are being given military equipment by the Pentagon and they’re busily establishing a para-military force in your community.  To Serve & Protect is just a distant memory for we old people. Today there’s damn little serving and the only people the cops are protecting – or feel any responsibility for or any affinity toward – is other cops.police_state

The real lesson here is just how broken our society has become.  There is no accountability in our society anymore.  Cops aren’t accountable to the citizens they’re supposed to be protecting.  Citizens aren’t accountable to each other.  Politicians are only accountable to their bankers.

It’s easy to blame it on Democrats because their War on Poverty drove, and drives, the disintegration of families, but Republicans have been on the “we’re here to help you” bandwagon for the same 60 plus years Democrats have been pulling the wagon.

The question, unfortunately, isn’t “when” or “how” we can turn things around, but

Honda reasons that this measure would aid law enforcement in taking out an active shooter, since the active shooter wouldn’t be able to obtain body armor.

“There is no reason this type of armor, which is designed for warfare, should be available in our communities except for those who need it, like law enforcement,” Honda said in a statement last week. “There’s nothing more dangerous than what a well-armored, unstoppable active shooter can do. This bill is common-sense and long overdue.”

Honda’s bill, H.R. 5344, The Responsible Body Armor Possession Act, would place a ban on what it terms ‘enhanced body armor.’ This type of armor as referenced in the bill’s language would include any wearable armor including helmets or shields that offer a ballistic protection of Type III or above as determined using National Institute of Justice Standard–0101.06. The only exceptions to the prohibition would be for law enforcement, military and government agencies.

Type III and higher body armor is commonly available both new and used Obey MAthroughout the country. Recently companies such as Bullet Blocker have even made efforts to produce school safety equipment such as bullet proof backpacks, whiteboards and children’s-sized nylon jackets up to NIJ Type III ratings aimed to protect youngsters from active shooters.

Honda advised in a press conference Wednesday that the reason for the bill was a shooting on July 22 in Riverside County, where a man wearing body armor and armed with an assault rifle shot and killed two sheriff’s deputies and wounded another.

However, this statement is not entirely correct as the shooting in question resulted in the deaths of two civilians, not law enforcement officers, and the injury of a deputy by fragments. Reports of the now-dead suspected shooter wearing body armor are likewise anecdotal and not reflected in the released information by the Riverside County Sheriff.

National gun control groups are coming out to support Honda’s initiative.

In a statement by the Violence Policy Center posted Wednesday, the group applauded the lawmaker’s measure, saying, “The gun industry has increasingly featured body armor in firearm company marketing materials, which display men wearing body armor and helmets while carrying military-style assault rifles.”camo

In the VPC’s statement, the group likewise list Adam Lanza and John Holmes, the mass killers linked to the shootings in Newtown and Aurora respectively as being protected during their sprees by body armor. However, like Honda’s statement, this one is flawed as well.

While in both cases the alleged shooters were described by media as being armored, Lanza was later confirmed to be wearing a ‘fishing vest‘  while Holmes was equipped with a tactical load bearing vest, neither of which offered ballistic protection.

Even if Honda’s bill does not make it into law, it is already against the law for criminals to add body armor to their toolkit. Since 2002, it has been illegal under federal law for convicted felons to possess body armor of any sort. This has been prosecuted in U.S. courts even in states that do not criminalize the possession of body armor.

Honda’s bill is currently referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary and has three co-sponsors.

There’s an old saying that people will only change when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of changing. When applied to cowardice in the face of Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the U.S., far too many institutions choose fear over courage. The latest example comes courtesy of a KAKE news report out of Wichita, KS. If this keeps up, the pain of staying the same will only exceed the pain of changing when there’s blood in the streets.

Sheriffs with badges are required – REQUIRED – to eschew cowardice. Yet, far too few do.

cair As Shoebat.com has reported in the past, Guandolo made an explosive claim that CIA Director John Brennan converted to Islam while stationed in Saudi Arabia in the 1990′s. The news report above identifies this claim – as well as one about Barack Obama’s “allegiances” to Islam as being the reason why Guandolo’s training was canceled.

This begs a simple question: Why would groups like CAIR object to claims that Obama and Brennan have allegiances to Islam? Wouldn’t they be proud of such claims? Wouldn’t they like to promote such things? Wouldn’t it make their religion look good and give it more prominence?

Shame on the Sheriff. It’s obvious he’s not fit for the job he holds. As a protector of his county, courage and toughness is a requirement. Instead, he more closely resembles Barney Fife. Here is a scene from the Andy Griffith show do demonstrate what just happened in Kansas using a metaphor. Here, Fife represents the Sedgwick County Sheriff and Opie represents CAIR. Griffith represents Guandolo, who can do little more than shake his head:

Dad Calls Cops on Son to Teach Him a Lesson, Cops Shoot Son Dead

A father’s attempt to teach his son a lesson for taking his truck without permission ended in tragedy Monday after a local police officer shot the teenager dead.

James Comstock told the Des Moines Register he called the police on his son Tyler after the latter took the former’s truck in retaliation for refusing to buy him cigarettes.

Ames Police Officer Adam McPherson reportedly spotted the lawn care company vehicle and pursued it onto the Iowa State University campus, where a brief standoff ensued after Tyler allegedly refused orders to turn off the engine.

McPherson eventually fired six shots into the truck, two of which struck Tyler who was later pronounced dead.

The official report claims the action was necessary in order “to stop the ongoing threat to the public and the officers.”

Tyler’s dad says he was unarmed at the time.

“So he didn’t shut the damn truck off, so let’s fire six rounds at him?” exclaimed Gary Shepley, Tyler’s step-grandfather. “We’re confused, and we don’t understand.”

James said his son had his fair share of minor troubles with the law, and was distraught over a recent breakup with his girlfriend, but was in the process of turning his life around, and was working on obtaining his GED at Des Moines Area Community College.

“He was a smart kid. He made his own computers. He was interested in IT,” James told the Register.

The family’s demands for answers got even louder following the revelation that a member of the Ames police department suggested twice that officers call off the chase.

“He took off with my truck. I call the police, and they kill him,” James said. “”It was over a damn pack of cigarettes.”

McPherson is currently on paid leave pending the results of his department’s investigation.
