This Week’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Who Benefits From Mass Immigration? Not You!”

Commentary by Ann Coulter | Posted: Jan 30, 2019 5:02 PM

Who Benefits From Mass Immigration? Not You!
Assiduous readers of my columns know that I have frequently made the point that America’s immigration policies benefit only three groups of people: 1) rich Americans with a lot of employees, 2) the immigrants themselves, and 3) their grandmothers back in Chiapas.
The money illegal immigrants send out of the country doesn’t come from their low wages. It comes from the taxpayers, who are required to subsidize immigrants so that investment bankers can have cheap nannies. Yes, it is a problem that they couldn’t possibly live on what I pay them, but that’s where YOU come in, taxpayers!

When the rich merely have to pay Social Security taxes on their nannies, they quickly say, Oh, never mind, as we saw in the 1990s, when Bill Clinton’s first two female attorney general nominees had to withdraw because of the illegal aliens raising their kids, and we finally ended up with Janet Reno.

Zoe Baird, the first nominee caught up in Nannygate, promptly fired her illegal alien nanny and chauffeur, Lillian and Victor Corderos, who were deported.

That’s how much the rich love Latino immigrants! As Baird’s spokeswoman, Jamie Gorelick, said at the time: “I think it truly pains them that Lillian has had to pay this price. … They have true affection for her.”

She’s like family!

A cynic might wonder if the beneficiaries of mass Third-World immigration would be so altruistic toward the rest of the world if they were the ones being forced to compete with immigrant workers.

At a time when the working class could have been ginned up to oppose this dump of low-wage workers on the country, the unions lied to them and told them, Don’t worry! This will make the union stronger. Thirty years later, California construction workers who were making $45 an hour are now making $11 an hour.

The entire readership of The New York Times is immune from wage pressure like that. Our immigration policies strictly limit high-skilled immigration, ensuring that there will be no competition for jobs in the executive suite, while foisting a dog-eat-dog, survival-of-the-fittest competition on their employees.

The left has never had to defend the argument that everyone on the planet has a right to come to America, drive down wages, access welfare and force us to educate their children — because rich Republicans like the cheap labor, too.

Seeing what a fantastic deal mass immigration is for the rich, it’s easy to understand why they lie so much about it.
For example, the Cato Institute — funded by the Koch brothers — keeps producing “studies” claiming that immigrants are less likely to be on welfare than Americans. That’s at least counterintuitive.

We’re told day in and day out about the horrible lives of the poor asylum-seekers. They’ll starve if we send them back! Their children have all kinds of health problems, no medical care, no decent food, no roof over their heads! Their neighborhoods are hotbeds of wife-beaters, drugs, murder and gangs! And then: A financial burden to America? No … what makes you say that?

Even if it were true that fewer immigrants were accessing government assistance than American citizens, the number of immigrants who should be on welfare is, wait, checking my notes … yes: ZERO. Why would any country bring in people who immediately need our monetary support? In fact, bringing in poverty-stricken immigrants is a disaster for the welfare programs intended to help our fellow Americans. Fully half of all non-citizens in the United States are on at least one welfare program, according to the (very non-MAGA) Migration Policy Institute.

The only purpose of these Cato “studies” are the headlines, which will be endlessly repeated throughout media without a moment’s reflection. Whether journalists are citing phony studies, phony polls or phony experts, every statement about immigration in the mainstream media is a lie. You always have to look for the trick. Cato’s welfare “studies,” for example, put welfare-receiving children of immigrants — legal and illegal — in the “American” column. This tells us nothing about the soundness of our immigration policy. If the immigrants’ kids need welfare, we’re not bringing in the right immigrants.

Even more preposterous, Cato counts Social Security and Medicare as “welfare.” This is money that was taken by force from working Americans for their entire lives, of which they will get a portion back upon reaching retirement age. Immigrants are collecting welfare that the older Americans didn’t collect when they were the same age. Wait until they retire.

Of course Americans are more likely to be collecting Social Security and Medicare! I refer you to mass-immigration advocates’ usual sneer about white Americans being so much older than young, hardworking — and surprisingly cheap! — Latino immigrants. It’s so obvious that our immigration policies are bankrupting the nation’s welfare programs that I’ve often wondered if this was the intent of the libertarian Koch brothers all along. Burden the entire system until it blows up — and then we can finally return to pre-Great Society America!

Someone needs to tell the plutocrats that their employees are voting, and they aren’t voting libertarian. Heard of Venezuela? Heard of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Heard of California?

The rich’s Third World employees — “natural Republicans,” we’re always told by The Wall Street Journal — turn out NOT to be huge fans of small government. That’s why, instead of being a libertarian paradise, California is a banana republic, running on fumes from Silicon Valley and Hollywood.

As Lenin supposedly said, “Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” The rich know they want to pay their employees less, and they don’t know anything else.

Group of Border Patrol wives invite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to visit Texas border town

Reported By Lucia I. Suarez Sang | Fox News

“We would like to show you around! You don’t need to bring any security detail. Our husbands/boyfriends/fiancés/wives/significant others are actually very good at their jobs, thank goodness!” Jill Demanski wrote in the letter posted on Facebook.

Demanski added: “We’d also appreciate if you’d stop pretending that you care about federal workers. If you did, you would care for their safety, not just their paychecks. We can hold out a while longer if it means our husbands and communities are safer.”

Posted on Thursday – a day before President Trump announced a tentative deal to reopen the government at least until mid-February – the letter quickly went viral.

“I felt it’s really important to have our leaders come here and see what’s happening first. It’s important to meet with the people who are here on a daily basis, that are witnessing it – the effects of it, that it has on our country,” Demaski said on “Fox & Friends” on Monday. “We want them to come here and make an informed decision and to see what’s really going on.”

A 17-person bipartisan committee of House and Senate lawmakers is expected to negotiate border spending as part of the legislative process. It’s unclear if Democrats will budge in their opposition to funding a border wall, while Trump said Sunday he doubted he could accept any agreement struck by congressional negotiators that gives him less than his requested $5.7 billion for the construction of a barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Renea Perez, another Border Patrol wife, told “Fox & Friends” that, while the women feel safe in Rio Grande Valley, the men and women who patrol the southern border could still use some help in high-traffic areas.

“[A wall] will allow them to do their job more efficiently and give them more time – if they are by themselves – have another agent meet them. It is definitely needed,” Perez said. “We just want them to come down there on the line and actually see where the argument is all about.”

She added the partial shutdown was very hard for the families of Border Patrol agents, who hadn’t received a paycheck during the partial shutdown, and, at times, it felt like nobody cared about their community.

“It gets tough. The bills don’t stop. We were feeling like we were forgotten,” Perez said.

Demaski said if Pelosi sees the letter and agrees to visit, she hopes the California Democrat will do a ride-along with border agents to see the day-to-day experiences of those on the front lines of the border issue.

“Border patrol and our agents and experts here have been asking for [the wall] for years,” she said. “Now we have a president who has come here and seen first-hand the need and has had our backs.”

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Break Ground, Not Promises”

Break Ground, Not Promises

As days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months and months turned to years, and not 1 inch of the wall was built, the “3-D chess” crowd dwindled.  Sometimes Trump would concede he hadn’t built any part of the wall. Sometimes he would fib and claim it was being built. There’s no way to sugarcoat it: That was a lie.

Drug dealers, drunk drivers, criminals, welfare dependents and low-wage workers driving down American wages continued to flow across our border.  We are now past the midway point of Trump’s first term, maybe his only term. If Trump couldn’t come up with a legislative fix when he controlled both houses of Congress, he’s sure not going to now that he’s lost the House.

We are headed for another failed Republican presidency.

President George H.W. Bush promised, “Read my lips, no new taxes” — then raised taxes. President George W. Bush promised that America would not be “the world’s policeman” — then turned the United States into the world’s policeman.

Whether these promises weren’t kept out of bad faith, incompetence or changed minds is of no consequence. That will be a minor footnote for future historians to debate. All that matters is that it didn’t happen. That’s why Trump got elected.

But he still hasn’t started the wall.

By now, my erstwhile critics are getting the point. But I’m not sure the president is — a few weeks ago, he unfollowed me on Twitter. Trump seems to be mystified about what he needs to do to maintain the support of his most devoted backers. He’s saying the right things, isn’t he? He’s holding press conferences, giving Oval Office addresses and tweeting that he wants a wall.

Here’s what you haven’t done, Mr. President: You haven’t broken ground. You want your supporters back? BREAK GROUND TODAY.

You know those caravans marching north toward our border? They’re not giving speeches about how they’re coming north. They’re not tweeting about how they’re coming north. They’re not giving Oval Office addresses about how they’re coming north.

They’re coming north.

What you need to do today — not after the State of the Union address, not after the next GOP retreat, not after another meeting with the Democrats — is to start rolling construction trucks to the southern border.

When Obama wanted something done, he did it. After spending two years saying he didn’t have constitutional authority to amnesty Dreamers, he issued an executive order amnestying Dreamers.  Obama has a legacy — a terrible legacy, but a legacy nonetheless. We’re still living with that executive order today.

By contrast, Mr. President, you do have constitutional authority to defend the nation’s borders, as you have noted repeatedly. But you’ve chickened out. The only edifice you have built is constructed of tweets, press conferences and speeches.

Ironically, Obama was a man of action. The New York real estate tycoon is just a man of words.

Words don’t stop caravans. No one rushes to a caravan saying — WAIT! STOP! TRUMP IS ABOUT TO TWEET!

Are you sure you want to make a dangerous 700-mile journey through cartel-infested lands when you know that as soon as you get to the U.S. border, there could be a Donald Trump tweet awaiting you?

Obama assumed dictatorial powers, bypassing Congress to issue laws from the Oval Office. You would just be doing your job, Mr. President. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

The most fundamental responsibility of the U.S. president is to protect the nation’s sovereignty. It is not to ensure the safety of the Kurds or the Syrian Christians or Pakistani goat herders, but to ensure the safety and security of the American people. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

The Senate’s latest omnibus spending bill provides “not less than $15,000,000” for border security — in Pakistan. The border security of our own country has become a joke. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

Yesterday people crossed our border who will kill Americans. Today there are people crossing our border who will kill Americans. And tomorrow there will be more people crossing our border who will kill Americans. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

It’s great that you met with the Clemson football team, but while you were doing that, people were crossing the border who will kill Americans. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

Countless presidents and presidential candidates have vowed to stop illegal immigration. Good intentions, bad intentions — it doesn’t matter. They didn’t keep their promises. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

Fifty years from now, an American family will pile into the car to see the country and, while motoring by the Texas border, will slam on the brakes. Oh look, honey, here’s a historic site! They’ll blow the dust off a small plaque on a garden trellis that will read: “On this site, President Donald Trump built the impregnable southern border wall.”

Stanley, you have to step to the left — you’re blocking the whole thing!

There will be plenty of room in the Trump Presidential Library for the entire border wall, because the library will contain only two books, “The Art of the Deal,” and Trump’s follow-up book, “Never Mind.” BREAK GROUND TODAY.

Emergency powers or no emergency powers, on tomorrow night’s news we want to see helicopters circling the trucks headed to the border. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

They have a caravan; you have a caravan. They’re heading north; you head south. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

Cost: People who don’t like you will continue not to like you. Benefit: Your legacy will be — He kept Americans alive who would otherwise be dead. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

We’ve heard your speeches. We know you understand the crisis, and you know what needs to be done. But none of that will mean anything if you don’t take action — not in a month, not in a week, but today. BREAK GROUND TODAY.

In shutdown fight with Trump, Dems reject immigration deal they once sponsored

Reported By Alex Pappas | Fox News

But now that President Trump has offered to essentially include it as part of a compromise to re-open shuttered government agencies, those same Democrats are rejecting it — unwilling to trade border wall funding for the immigrant protections they have long sought.

“We must move on the Bridge Act quickly to protect DREAMers,” Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin said back in December 2016.

TRUMP OFFERS IMMIGRATION COMPROMISE TO END PARTIAL SHUTDOWN; DEMS COOL TO OFFER

Durbin, along with South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, unveiled the bill before Trump took office; others who signed on as sponsors included California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein. The president would eventually try to end the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that shielded the 700,000 immigrants illegally brought to the United States as children from deportation, leaving the program in legal limbo ever since.

On Saturday, though, Trump announced he was prepared to back a three-year extension of protections for DACA recipients, and extend protections for 300,000 recipients of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program — which protects immigrants from designated countries with conditions that prevent nationals from returning safely. The BRIDGE Act, likewise, included a three-year DACA extension.

But Durbin, like virtually every other congressional Democrat, said he would oppose Trump’s offer considering it’s attached to $5.7 billion for a barrier on the southern border with Mexico.

“I cannot support the proposed offer as reported and do not believe it can pass the Senate,” Durbin said, adding he is “ready to sit down at any time after the government is opened and work to resolve all outstanding issues.”

“He talked about protecting those already in the program,” Durbin said. “Our bill talked about those eligible for the program.”

But Republicans accused Democrats of turning their back on a deal they once supported.

“@POTUS offers to support 2 bills sponsored by Dems (TPS & DACA extensions)in exchange for Border Security (something Democrats claim to support) & the immediate response from Dem leaders is No?” Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., tweeted.

“Walls are not immoral,” he said, adding that a wall “will save many lives and stop drugs from pouring into our country.”

While the Democratic leadership in Congress has come out against the compromise, they are facing some pressure to deal. The editorial board of the Washington Post over the weekend called on Democrats to come back to the table. In an editorial titled “Make a deal. Save the dreamers,” the paper argued Trump “should not be rewarded for having taken the government hostage” but said Trump’s offer to compromise “should be welcomed.”

Meanwhile, some in Trump’s conservative base are coming out against the deal — signaling significant concessions were put forward over the weekend — with commentator Ann Coulter and others accusing the president of offering “amnesty.”

The plan would also allocate $800 million for drug detection technology to secure ports of entry, 2,750 new border agents and law enforcement professionals, and 75 new immigration judges to reduce an immense backlog of asylum requests.

The partial government shutdown has dragged on for a month now and led to hundreds of thousands of federal workers being furloughed or working without pay.

Trump has said he will not sign a bill to open the government unless it includes that wall funding, while Democrats have refused to consider the $5.7 billion figure, instead offering $1.3 billion for general border security.

Everyone Is Smart, Except Trump

It really is quite simple.  Everyone is smart except Donald J. Trump.  That’s why they all are billionaires and all got elected President.  Only Trump does not know what he is doing. Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin.  Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin.  The whole crowd at MSNBC does.  All the journalists do.

They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC.  They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS.  They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC, nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, anyone at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press.  But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin!  Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

Remember the four years when Anderson Cooper was President of the United States?  And before that — when the entire Washington Post editorial staff jointly were elected to be President?  Remember?  Neither do I.

The Seedier Media never have negotiated life and death, not corporate life and death, and not human life and death.  They think they know how to negotiate, but they do not know how.  They go to a college, are told by peers that they are smart, get some good grades, proceed to a graduate degree in journalism, and get hired as analysts.  Now they are experts, ready to take on Putin and the Iranian Ayatollahs at age 30.

That is not the road to expertise in tough dealing.  The alternate road is that, along the way, maybe you get forced into some street fights.  Sometimes the other guy wins, and sometimes you beat the intestines out of him.  Then you deal with grown-ups as you mature, and you learn that people can be nasty, often after they smile and speak softly.  You get cheated a few times, played.  And you learn.  Maybe you become an attorney litigating multi-million-dollar case matters.  Say what you will about attorneys, but those years — not the years in law school, not the years drafting legal memoranda, but the years of meeting face-to-face and confronting opposing counsel — those years can teach a great deal.  They can teach how to transition from sweet, gentle, diplomatic negotiating to tough negotiating.  At some point, with enough tough-nosed experience, you figure out Trump’s “The Art of the Deal” yourself.

Trump’s voters get him because not only is he we, but we are he.  We were not snowflaked-for-life by effete professors who themselves never had negotiated tough life-or-death serious deals.  Instead we live in the real world, and we know how that works.  Not based on social science theories, not based on “conceptual negotiating models”.  But based on the people we have met over life, and always will hate.  That worst boss we ever had.  The coworker who tried to sabotage us.  We know the sons of bums whom we survived, the dastardly types who are out there, and we learned from those experiences how to deal with them.  We won’t have John Kerry soothe us by having James Taylor sing “You’ve Got a Friend” carols.

The Bushes got us into all kinds of messes.  The first one killed the economic miracle that Reagan had fashioned.  The second one screwed up the Middle East, where Iraq and Iran beautifully were engaged in killing each other for years, and he got us mired into the middle of the muddle.  Clinton was too busy with Monica Lewinsky to protect us from Osama bin Laden when we had him in our sights.  Hillary gave us Benghazi and more.  And Obama and Kerry gave us the Iran Deal, ISIS run amok, America in retreat.  All to the daily praise of a media who now attack Trump every minute of every day.

So let us understand a few things:

Negotiating with NATO

NATO is our friend.  They also rip off America.  They have been ripping us off forever.  We saved their butts — before there even was a NATO — in World War I.  They messed up, and 116,456 Americans had to die to save their butts.

Then they messed up again for the next two decades because West Europeans are effete and so obsessed with their class manners and their rules of savoir faire and their socialist welfare states and their early retirements that they did not have the character to stand up to Hitler in the 1930s.  Peace in our time.  So they messed up, and we had to save their butts again.  And another 405,399 Americans died for them during World War II.  And then we had to rebuild them!  And we had to station our boys in Germany and all over their blood-stained continent.  So, hey, we love those guys.  We love NATO.

And yet they still rip us off.  We pay 4% of our gigantic gross domestic product to protect them, and they will not pay a lousy 2% of their GDP towards their own defense.  Is there a culture more penny-pinching-cheap-and-stingy than the fine constituents of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization?  These cheap baseborn prigs will not pay their fare.  They are too cheap.  They expect America to send boys to die for them in one world war, then another — hundreds of thousands — and then to pay for their NATO defense even a century later.  And then they have the temerity to cheat us further in trade

Long before Trump, they set up tariffs against us for so many things.  If the average American knew how badly Europe has been ripping us off for decades with their tariffs, no one in this country would buy anything European again.  We would say, as a matter of self-respect and personal pride, “I no longer will buy anything but American, no matter what it costs”.

Every American President has complained about the cheating and imbalance — the NATO penny-pinching-cheapness, the tariff and trade imbalances.  In more recent years, the various Bushes complained about it.  Even Obama complained about it.  But they all did it so gently, so diplomatically.  They would deliver the sermon, just as the pastor predictably tells the church-goers on Sunday morning that he is against sin, and the Europeans would sit quietly and nod their heads — nodding from sleeping, not from agreeing — and then they would go back out and sin some more.  Another four years of America being suckered and snookered.  All they had to do was give Obama a Nobel Peace Prize his ninth month in office and let Kerry ride his bike around Paris.

So Trump did what any effective negotiator would do: he took note of past approaches to NATO and their failures, and correctly determined that the only way to get these penny-pinching-cheap baseborn prigs to pay their freight would be to bulldoze right into their faces, stare them right in their glazed eyes with cameras rolling, and tell them point-blank the equivalent of: “You are the cheapest penny-pinching, miserly, stingy, tightwadded skinflints ever.  And it is going to stop on my watch.  Whatever it takes from my end, you selfish, curmudgeonly cheap prigs, you are going to pay your fair share.  I am not being diplomatic.  I am being All-Business: either you start to pay or, wow, are you in for some surprises!  And you know what you read in the Fake News: I am crazy!  I am out of control!  So, lemme see.  I know: We will go to trade war!  How do you like that?  Maybe we even will pull all our troops out of Europe.  Hmmm.  Yeah, maybe.  Why not?  Sounds good.  Well, let’s see.”

So Trump stuffed it into their quiche-and-schnitzel ingesting faces.  And he convinced them — thanks to America’s Seedier Media who are the real secret to the “Legend That is Trump” — that he just might be crazy enough to go to trade war and to pull American boys home.  They knew that Clinton and Bush x 2 and Kerry and Hillary and Nobel Laureate Obama never would do it.  But they also know that Trump just might.  And if they think they are going to find comfort and moderating in his new advisers, John Bolton and Mike Pompeo, alongside him…. Nuh-uh.

So CNN and the Washington Post and all the Seedier Media attacked Trump for days: He is destroying the alliance!  He attacks our friends!

Baloney.  Obama was the one whom the Left Echo Chamber never called out for attacking our friends — Israel, Britain, so many others — while cozying up to Hugo Chavez, bowing to dictators, and dancing the Tango for Raul Castro.  Trump is just the opposite: He knows who the friends are, and he wants to maintain and strengthen those friendships.  It is no different from a parent telling a 35-year-old son: “I have been supporting you for thirty-five years.  I put you through college by signing four years and $100,000 PLUS in Loans.  You graduated college fifteen years ago.  For fifteen years I have been asking you nicely to look for a job and to start contributing.  Instead, you sit home all day playing video games, texting your friends on a smartphone I pay for, and picking little fuzz balls out of your navel.  So, look, I love you.  You are my flesh and blood.  But if you are not employed and earning a paycheck — and contributing to the cost of this household — in six months, we are throwing you out of the house”.  That boy is NATO.  Trump is Dad.  And all of us have been signing for the PLUS Loans.

Negotiating with Putin

Putin is a bad guy  A really bad guy.  He is better than Lenin.  Better than Stalin, Khrushchev, Kosygin, Brezhnev, Pol Pot, Mao.  But he is a really bad guy.

Here’s the thing: Putin is a dictator.  He answers to no one.  He does whatever he wants.  If there arises an opponent, that guy dies.  Maybe the opponent gets poked with a poisoned umbrella.  Maybe he gets shot on the street.  Maybe the opponent is forced to watch Susan Rice interviews telling the world that Benghazi happened because of a YouTube video seen by nine derelicts in Berkeley and that Bowe Berghdal served with honor and distinction.  But, one way or another, the opponent dies.

Trump knows this about Putin.  And here is what that means: If you insult Putin in public, like by telling the news media just before or after meeting with him that he is the Butcher of Crimea, and he messed with our elections, and is an overall jerk — then you will get nothing behind closed doors from Putin.  Putin will decide “To heck with you, and to heck with the relationship we just forged”.  Putin will get even, will take intense personal revenge, even if it is bad for Russia — even if it is bad for Putin.  Because there are no institutional reins on him.

But if you go in public and tell everyone that Putin is a nice guy (y’know, just like Kim Jong Un) and that Putin intensely maintains that he did not mess with elections — not sweet little Putey Wutey (even though he obviously did) — then you next can maintain the momentum established beforehand in the private room.  You can proceed to remind Putin what you told him privately: that this garbage has to stop —or else.  That if he messes in Syria, we will do “X”   If he messes with our Iran boycott, we will do “Y.”   We will generate so much oil from hydraulic fracturing and from ANWR and from all our sources that we will glut the market — if not tomorrow, then a year from now.  We will send even more lethal offensive military weapons to Ukraine.  We can restore the promised shield to Eastern Europe that Obama withdrew.  And even if we cannot mess with Russian elections (because they have no elections), they do have computers — and, so help us, we will mess with their technology in a way they cannot imagine.  Trump knows from his advisers what we can do.  If he sweet-talks Putin in public — just Putin on the Ritz — then everything that Trump has told Putin privately can be reinforced with action, and he even can wedge concessions because, against that background, Putin knows that no one will believe that he made any concessions.  Everyone is set to believe that Putin is getting whatever he wants, that Trump understands nothing.  So, in that setting, Putin can make concessions and still save face.

That is why Trump talks about him that way.  And that is the only possible way to do it when negotiating with a tyrant who has no checks and balances on him.  If you embarrass the tyrant publicly, then the tyrant never will make concessions because he will fear that people will say he was intimidated and backed down.  And that he never will do.  Meanwhile, Trump has expelled 60 Russians from America, reversed Obama policy and sent lethal weapons to Ukraine, and is pressing Germany severely on its pipeline project with Russia.

The Bottom Line

At the end of the day, Donald Trump is over seventy years old.  He has made many mistakes in his life.  He still makes some.  He is human.  But Trump likewise has spent three score and a dozen years learning.  He has seen some of his businesses go bankrupt, and he has learned from those experiences to be a billionaire and not let it happen again.  No doubt that he has been fooled, outsmarted in years past.  And he has learned from life.

He is a tough and smart negotiator.  He sizes up his opponent, and he knows that the approach that works best for one is not the same as for another.  It does not matter what he says publicly about his negotiating opponent.  What matters is what results months later.

In his first eighteen months in Washington, this man has turned around the American economy, brought us near full employment, reduced the welfare and food stamp lines, wiped out ISIS in Raqqa, moved America’s Israel embassy to Jerusalem, successfully has launched massive deregulation of the economy, has opened oil exploration in ANWR, is rebuilding the military massively, has walked out of the useless Paris Climate Accords that were negotiated by America’s amateurs who always get snookered, canned the disastrous Iran Deal, exited the bogus United Nations Human Rights Council.  He has Canada and Mexico convinced he will walk out of NAFTA if they do not pony up, and he has the Europeans convinced he will walk out of NATO if they don’t stop being the cheap and lazy parasitic penny-pinchers they are.  He has slashed income taxes, expanded legal protections for college students falsely accused of crimes, has taken real steps to protect religious freedoms and liberties promised in the First Amendment, boldly has taken on the lyme-disease-quality of a legislative mess that he inherited from Reagan-Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama on immigration, and has appointed a steady line of remarkably brilliant conservative federal judges to sit on the district courts, the circuit appellate courts, and the Supreme Court.

What has Anderson Cooper achieved during that period?  Jim Acosta or the editorial staffs of the New York Times and Washington Post?  They have not even found the courage and strength to stand up to the coworkers and celebrities within their orbits who abuse sexually or psychologically or emotionally.  They have no accomplishments to compare to his.  Just their effete opinions, all echoing each other, all echoing, echoing, echoing.  They gave us eight years of Nobel Peace Laureate Obama negotiating with the ISIS JV team, calming the rise of the oceans, and healing the planet.

We will take Trump negotiating with Putin any day.

Gutless President in Wall-less Country

Commentary by Ann Coulter | Posted: Dec 19, 2018 4:30 PM

Gutless President in Wall-less Country

If you were elected president after decades of politicians doing nothing about the millions of illegals pouring into our country every year, committing crimes, dealing drugs, driving drunk, molesting children and killing Americans like Kate Steinle, and your central campaign promise — repeated every day — was to build a wall, wouldn’t you have spent the entirety of your transition period working on getting it done?

Wouldn’t you have been building prototypes, developing relationships with key congressional allies and talking to military leaders about using the Seabees or the Army Corps of Engineers to build the wall?

Wouldn’t you skip the inauguration and take the oath of office in San Diego so you could get started on supervising wall construction immediately after putting your hand on the Bible and being sworn in as the leader of the free world?

You would if you meant it.

Well, Donald Trump didn’t do that.

OK, sure he could have taken the oath in D.C., gone to a few balls, then started the wall on day two of his presidency. But he didn’t do that either.

Maybe I’m a literalist. A zealot. When people kept telling me to be patient — the wall is coming! — I nursed a private hope that I was wrong, and they were right.

It is now crystal clear that one of two things is true: Either Trump never intended to build the wall and was scamming voters all along, or he has no idea how to get it done and zero interest in finding out.

He sacrifices every opportunity to make the wall happen.

For two years, Trump pretended to believe the president of the United States needs express authorization from Congress to defend the nation’s borders and blamed the Republican majority for not “funding” the wall.

In a few weeks, he’ll start blaming the Democratic House.

Last week — several whole days ago — Trump said over and over again that he would shut down the government if he didn’t get funding for the wall — the precise thing he claims he needs. “We need border security. The wall is a part of border security,” he said. “If we don’t have border security, we’ll shut down the government.”

Trump wore the shutdown over the wall as a badge of honor: “You want to know something? OK, you want to put that on me. I’ll take it. You know what I’ll say? Yes, if we don’t get what we want … I will shut down the government. Absolutely.”

“WALL FUNDING OFF TABLE “

In other words, Trump is doing exactly what I feared he would do in the worst conceivable way. He’s not building the wall, while making ridiculous promises right up until the second before he folds.

The Washington Post loves to find the one crazy, trailer park lady who supports Trump because she’s had religious ecstasies about him, but most people who voted for him did so with a boatload of qualms.

The basic factory setting on the perception of Trump is: gigantic douchebag. This is a man who manufactured fake Time magazine covers featuring himself with the headline, “Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!” so that he could put framed copies of it on the walls of his clubs.

His business is convincing people with lowbrow taste to give him their money.

He’s a vulgar publicity hound who used to call reporters in a fake voice and pretend to be his own PR agent, “John Miller” or “John Barron,” so he could brag that actresses wanted to date him.

On one “Apprentice” episode, the reward for the winning team was: to see Trump’s apartment. Not to eat there or spend the night. They got to see it. “As a little treat,” he said, “you’re gonna see the nicest apartment in New York City.” He added: “I show this apartment to very few people. Presidents, kings …”

It’s not as if a majority of his voters weren’t clear-eyed about what kind of man he is. If anything, Trump’s vulgar narcissism made his vow to build a wall more believable. Respectable politicians had made similar promises over the years — and they always betrayed the voters. Maybe it took a sociopath to ignore elite opinion and keep his word.

On the basis of his self-interest alone, he must know that if he doesn’t build the wall, he has zero chance of being re-elected and a 100 percent chance of being utterly humiliated.

But when Trump is alone with Ivanka, they seem to agree that the wall has nothing to do with it. The people just love him for who he is! In a country of 320 million people, I’m sure there are some, but I have yet to meet a person who said, Yeah, I don’t really care about immigration or trade, I just love his personality!

What else were we going to do? He was the only one talking sense. Unfortunately, that’s all he does: talk. He’s not interested in doing anything that would require the tiniest bit of effort.

In the end, we’ll probably find out “wall” was Trump’s “safe word” with Stormy Daniels. It’s just something he blurts out whenever he’s in trouble.

He’s in trouble now. As absurd as the Russia nonsense is, the details about Trump’s sleazy associates, the porn star, the Playboy playmate and his seedy business practices leave his supporters feeling queasy, even if he hasn’t committed any crimes.

Instead of joining a fight that will make his most ardent supporters cringe no matter how it comes out, why not choose a battleground where he’s guaranteed a win? If Trump used the military to build the wall — actually build it, not keep telling us he’s going to build it — the Democrats will go mad.

They’ll hold impeachment hearings, file a million lawsuits, produce weeping children reading from phony scripts written by immigrant rights groups — and Trump will win. The public will support Trump overwhelmingly, and the left will be forced to keep reminding voters why they hate Democrats.

Instead, what he’s doing now absolutely guarantees that the next president will be a Democrat and, given today’s Democratic Party, that president will be Kamala Harris.

Media’s cloudy memory of tear gas-tossing Border Patrol

Written by Billy Davis, Steve Jordahl (OneNewsNow.com) | Thursday, November 29, 2018

MSNBC on tear gas useIt’s not breaking news that the Obama-worshipping media napped for eight years and now a conservative newspaper is waking them up with a history lesson.

The media and Democrats expressed collective outrage over the weekend when U.S. Border Patrol agents fired tear gas canisters after a mob of rock-throwing migrants attempted to breach the border near a point of entry in San Diego.

“Tear gas across the border against unarmed families is a new low,” Brian Schatz, a U.S. senator from Hawaii, lectured on Twitter.

Trump and Obama at WH post-electionYet it’s not new despite Democrats’ outrage — whether real or faked — and media reports such as a Huffington Post news report set to ominous music.

A day after the tear gas was deployed, The Washington Times reminded the public that the Obama administration also used tear gas or pepper spray against foreign nationals at the U.S.-Mexico border. That non-lethal action was done so frequently, the Times said, that it averaged once per month during President Obama’s two terms.

The story’s claim was rated “Mostly Trueby fact-checking website Snopes, which found CBP agents used tear gas 1.3 times per month on average during Obama’s last five years. The lopsided Obama-era numbers and lopsided denouncements against Trump weren’t lost on the White House, either.

“Let’s not forget,” Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told the media, “that this isn’t the first time that non-lethal force like this has been used.”

While the media was seemingly aghast at the Trump administration, media watchdog Media Research Center was watching when ABC, NBC and CBS completely ignored the data unearthed by the Times.

“The story was actually broken by The Washington Times and what they did was actually just kind of simple journalism,” says MRC spokesman Scott Whitaker. “They didn’t have any scoop. They just went and checked the record.”

He attributes the lack of consistency in the media to the collective hatred of Trump — Trump Derangement Syndrome — and says that skewed news coverage is why the “Big Three” ratings remain in the tank, and why Americans don’t trust the media to be honest with them.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Trump’s Great Wall Becomes Trump’s Great Stall”

Commentary by Ann Coulter  |

For those of us who were ecstatic the night Donald Trump was elected president, who watch election night videos over and over again, it used to be easy to defend him against the charge that he is just a BS-ing con man who would say anything to get elected.

It’s getting harder.

Trump was our last chance. But he’s spent two years not building the wall, not deporting illegals — “INCREDIBLE KIDS!” — and not ending the anchor baby scam. Within 10 seconds of Trump’s leaving office, there will be no evidence that he was ever president. Laws will be changed, executive orders rescinded, treaties re-written and courts packed. Trump will leave no legacy at all. Only a wall is forever.

We had no choice. No one else was promising to save America.

“On day one, we will begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful southern border wall. We will use the best technology, including above- and below-ground sensors, that’s the tunnels. Remember that: above and below. Towers, aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall, find and dislocate tunnels and keep out criminal cartels …” — Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump

But then he signed a spending bill expressly prohibiting him from building any part of the wall.

“I will never sign another bill like this again. I’m not going to do it again.” — President Trump, after signing a spending bill that blocked any funding for a wall.

Today, eight months later, Trump is about to sign another spending bill that will give him no money for the wall. Anyone want to bet me that he won’t? So much for the world’s greatest negotiator.

Donald Trump is the commander in chief. He doesn’t need Congress’ approval to defend the nation’s borders. But as long as his excuse for not building the wall is that Congress hasn’t appropriated money for it, why on earth would he sign a spending bill that doesn’t give it to him?

There is no tomorrow on this. Republicans are about to lose the House. It’s now or never. We didn’t need someone to tell us how hard it is to get anything done in Washington. We knew that. That’s why we hired a builder. We didn’t care what Trump’s position on the lira was. We didn’t care about Syria. We were just looking for the best contractor we could find so we would finally get a wall.

If we were talking about a golf course in Scotland, I think Trump could figure out how to get it done.

But instead of winning, we’re getting whining. We’re told it’s Congress’ fault for not giving Trump money to build the wall! The ACLU will sue! A judge will stop him! Blame Paul Ryan! (Possible Trump epitaph: Chuck wouldn’t let me!)

President Reagan bombed Libya in retaliation for two U.S. serviceman being killed by a bomb in a West Berlin discotheque — TWO! But Trump thinks he needs the preapproval of Congress, the ACLU and a district court judge in Hawaii to do something about tens of thousands of Americans being killed every year by illegal alien heroin dealers, drunk drivers and straight-up murderers.

Reagan invaded Grenada because the country was becoming a Soviet client state. No Grenadian threatened to touch a hair on any American’s head. One wonders what Reagan’s reaction would have been to someone telling him, YOU CAN’T DO THAT! THE ACLU WILL SUE! If Reagan had Trump’s advisers, we’d be speaking Russian.

The ACLU, the Center for Constitutional Rights, the Southern Poverty Law Center and the other anti-American groups opposing Trump on immigration were the very same groups that opposed Reagan. They would have been happy if the U.S.S.R. had nuked this country. Sadly for them, Reagan kept his promises, and we won the Cold War. So now the back-up plan is to destroy our country by flooding it with the Third World.

We needed Reagan and got P.T. Barnum instead.

Evidently, Trump knew he could bomb an innocent country based on false information about the Syrian government using nerve gas in April 2018. (Actual reason: Ivanka cried.) No less than the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons spent months testing the bodies allegedly killed by nerve gas. Conclusion: No nerve gas.

But we’re supposed to believe that Trump doesn’t realize that he’s also allowed to defend the citizens of this country. Does he know he’s president?

Even if noted constitutional law scholar Jared Kushner has convinced Trump that he needs congressional approval before he’s allowed to repel invaders at our border — but doesn’t need Congress to bomb an innocent country because Ivanka cried — the president could order the troops to invade Mexico and build the wall 10 yards in.

But all we get are bombastic tweets and useless half-measures. The conservative media have been excitedly reporting that Obama put illegal alien kids in cages too! Obama used tear gas on the invaders too! Yes, exactly — and none of that worked. That’s why we voted for the guy who promised to build a wall.

Unlike the president, we knew that the deluge of poor people flooding our country would never stop until we had an impenetrable border. And whatever happened to that executive order on anchor babies? Is Trump “trying” to sign that, too? Maybe he got writer’s cramp.

Trump also promised to deport illegals — even the ones Democrats have given cute names to.

We’re always talking about ‘Dreamers’ for other people. I want the children that are growing up in the United States to be dreamers also. They’re not dreaming right now.” — Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump

“The executive order (on “Dreamers”) gets rescinded.” — Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump

Is it Paul Ryan’s fault that Trump did a 180 on “Dreamers,” called them “INCREDIBLE KIDS” and tried to give them amnesty?

Every day that Trump does not keep his promises on immigration, thousands of immigrants turn 18 and start block voting for the Democrats, while thousands of traditional Americans die off. Florida and Texas are about five years away from turning solid blue. Trump was our last chance. After this, the country is never going to elect a Republican president again.

So the next time you watch one of those election night videos, remember: If Trump doesn’t keep his immigration promises, Hillary might as well have won.

Trump will leave no legacy whatsoever. Without a wall, he will only be remembered as a small cartoon figure who briefly inflamed and amused the rabble.

Let’s unite around Jesus, not divide over Trump

Commentary by Dr. Michael L. Brown – Guest Columnist | Friday, November 16, 2018

Michael BrownAmerica is sinking. America is burning. America is suffering. We have the answer in the gospel. We have the answer in Jesus. And the world desperately needs what we have.

Have you ever seen American evangelicals this divided? Have you ever seen followers of Jesus so torn apart over politics? Obviously, during the Civil War era, Christian divisions were even deeper and more pronounced, as believers were literally killing each other over slavery and the actions of President Lincoln.

But in our lifetimes, have we seen such intense feelings, such passionate emotions, such virulent disagreements over politics within the evangelical Church?

During the Obama presidency, there were certainly deep differences between Christians who supported his policies and Christians who opposed his policies. But for the most part, those divisions fell along racial lines, with white evangelicals overwhelmingly opposing Obama and black evangelicals overwhelmingly supporting him.

And I doubt that many holiday dinners were disrupted over these divisions or that many people were unfriended on social media because of their political disagreements.

Today, things are different – and I say this without ascribing blame to any particular side or to the president himself. In fact, the last thing on my mind is to ascribe blame.

Bible with American flagInstead, I write this to underscore the urgency of the hour and to emphasize why it is so important that we come together as followers of Jesus despite our political divides. (At present, there is even division between Kellyanne Conway, the president’s senior counsel, and her husband George over support for Trump.)

Both the pro-Trump evangelicals and the anti-Trump evangelicals can make their cases, and each side can show why it believes it is right. But it’s unlikely that, at this juncture, either side will convince the other.

What each of us can do is this.

First, you can sit down with a fellow-believer who differs with you and say:

“Tell me why you feel the way you do. I really want to understand your point of view.”

Hopefully, that will lead to step two, in which you ask:

May I share my point of view with you now that I’ve heard and understood yours?”

If that succeeds, move on to point three, which is the one that really matters. You can say:

“Now that we understand our differences, can we agree that America is hurting and that we, as followers of Jesus, have the only message that will bring healing? Can we agree that there is no political solution to our nation’s greatest problems? Can we agree that if the Church is divided, the world will mock? Can we agree that the most important thing is that we unite in our love for the Lord and for our neighbor? Can we agree that the reputation of Jesus is far more important than our political affiliation?”

Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).

Can we demonstrate this love across the political divide? Can we demonstrate this love without total agreement on all points? Can we demonstrate this love by talking more about Jesus than about Trump (or Hillary or whoever)?

Shortly before He was crucified, the Lord prayed at length for our unity (see John 17), saying: “I am in them and You are in Me. May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me” (John 17:23). What an incredible prayer!

church in AmericaTo put it bluntly, it is Satan, the evil one, who wants to divide us (and thereby destroy us) while it is Jesus, our Savior, who wants to unite us (and thereby bless us). To whose voice are we listening? Whose promptings are we following? Whose example are we emulating?

I’m not for a moment suggesting that we bury our differences. I’m not advocating some kind of superficial, Kumbaya unity. Far from it. Personally, I detest such shallow shows. They do more harm than good.

But what I am saying is that, as important as politics may be and as consequential as Trump’s presidency certainly is, there are more important, even more consequential matters that deserve our attention.

We recognize this during times of national calamity, like hurricanes or forest fires or floods. We all work together to save lives. We don’t see color. We don’t see ethnicity. We don’t see political affiliations. We see people in need, and we help them. Period.

That is how we need to view our nation today.

America is sinking. America is burning. America is suffering. We have the answer in the gospel. We have the answer in the preaching of the cross. We have the answer in the power of the Spirit. We have the answer in the wisdom of the Word. We have the answer in practical, hands-on, demonstrable love. We have the answer in the power of unity. We have the answer in Jesus. And the world desperately needs what we have.

If you are committed to the lordship of Jesus and the authority of Scripture, if you are a born-again, follower of the Lamb, I’m willing to stand arm-in-arm with you to touch this broken nation, whether you think Trump is our greatest president ever or our worst president ever. I’m willing to put aside our political divisions in order to put Jesus first. Are you willing to do the same with me?

As someone called to offer cultural commentary (in writing and on radio and TV), I plan to continue to address relevant political issues, which means that I plan to comment more on the president in the days ahead (as someone who voted for him, unashamedly, in 2016). And it’s very possible that you will take issue with some of what I say.

But why must that challenge our deeper unity? Why must the secondary become the primary, no matter how important the secondary may be?

First is still first, and there’s only one Person who comes first in that way.

That’s why I continue to shout from the rooftops that Donald Trump is my president, not my savior. It’s a positive message meant to unify, not a divisive message meant to provoke.

So, what it will be?

My hand of fellowship is extended, open, and ready. How about yours?

Attorney: Advocates of identity politics would struggle with Brown for AG

Reported by Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) | Monday, November 12, 2018

Judge Janice Rogers Brown

A public policy analyst says President Donald Trump had already been talking to a potential replacement for Attorney General Jeff Sessions even before Sessions officially tendered his resignation last week.

Even before the ink on Session’s resignation was dry, names began to pop up as possible replacements – among them Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-South Carolina), former Judge Janice Rogers Brown (pictured), Solicitor General Noel Francisco, and the man Trump appointed as interim AG, Matthew Whitaker.

Abraham Hamilton III, general counsel and public policy analyst for the American Family Association, says the Trump administration had already been talking to Judge Brown about replacing Sessions before the midterms and the resignation.

Hamilton

“They had conversations with Janice Rogers Brown, who was an appellate court judge on the [District of Columbia] Court of Appeals,” he contends. “She retired not too long ago [August 2017] and she had been in Washington, DC, having conversations with the administration concerning the possibility of becoming the next attorney general.”

Brown, who’s also a former California Supreme Court associate justice, moved back to the Golden State after retiring. Hamilton thinks the Alabama native would be an outstanding pick.

“She is a black woman who was widely regarded as the most conservative judge on the DC Court of Appeals [and] she was a colleague of Brett Kavanaugh,” he describes. “She’s respected by everyone – and I think she would be a phenomenal pick. Whether she’s the odds-on favorite, I’m not sure.”

Brown’s nomination to the DC Circuit in mid-2003 was stalled in the U.S. Senate for almost two years because of Democratic opposition. But Hamilton argues her selection “would certainly pose a frustration for those who are embroiled in identity politics.”

“They cannot see anything unless they are evaluating it through the prism of skin color,” he contends. “It would give them a very difficult time of attempting to criticize Judge Janice Rogers Brown.”

According to The Sacramento Bee, several conservative lawyers are recommending Brown for the post.

Is it Nazi-like to be a nationalist?

Authored by Dr. Michael L. Brown – Guest Columnist | http://www.askdrbrown.org/ | Monday, November 12, 2018

URL of the original posting site: https://www.onenewsnow.com/perspectives/michael-brown/2018/11/12/is-it-nazi-like-to-be-a-nationalist

Michael BrownFrench President Macron argues that “nationalism” is a betrayal of patriotism. But when President Trump uses the term, he’s saying no to a potentially dangerous globalism and yes to policies that put American interests first.

Should “nationalism” be encouraged? Is it simply a matter of putting your own country’s interests first and of saying “no” to an unhealthy globalism? Or is it a path to xenophobia, following in the footsteps of the Nazis? Or, perhaps, is it simply a matter of perception, the word “nationalist” meaning one thing to one group and something entirely different to another group?

On October 22, at a rally in Houston, TX, President Trump said, “A globalist is a person that wants the globe to do well, frankly, not caring about our country so much. And you know what? We can’t have that.”

He continued, “You know, they have a word – it’s sort of became old-fashioned – it’s called a nationalist. And I say, really, we’re not supposed to use that word. You know what I am? I’m a nationalist, okay? I’m a nationalist. Nationalist. Nothing wrong. Use that word. Use that word.”

Not surprisingly, his comments created quite an uproar.

After all, there’s a reason the word is not widely used today in a positive sense. Being a “nationalist” is often associated with White Supremacist movements in America, with anti-immigrant xenophobia, with harsh attitudes against people of color. “People like you don’t belong in our nation!”

Not only so, but the term “Nazi” is simply short for “National” in German. The Nazis were the National-Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei in German). In fact, it was hyper-German nationalism that led to both World Wars, as this Wikipedia entry correctly notes:

“Aggressive German nationalism and territorial expansion was a key factor leading to both World Wars. Prior to World War I, Germany had established a colonial empire in hopes of rivaling Britain and France. In the 1930s, the Nazis came to power and sought to create a Greater Germanic Reich, emphasizing ethnic German identity and German greatness to the exclusion of all others, eventually leading to the extermination of Jews, Poles, Romani, and other people deemed Untermenschen (subhumans) in the Holocaust during World War II.”

Trump and MacronThis history was certainly in the mind of France’s Prime Minister Macron this week when he took issue publicly with the exaltation of nationalism (with Trump and Valdimir Putin clearly in view).

Speaking on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, he said, “Old demons are reawakening, ready to sow chaos and death. History sometimes threatens to repeat its tragic patterns, and undermine the legacy of peace we thought we had sealed with the blood of our ancestors.”

He added, “Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism: nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism. By pursuing our own interests first, with no regard to others’, we erase the very thing that a nation holds most precious, that which gives it life and makes it great: its moral values.”

What are we to make of this?

On the one hand, we could review the semantic history of the words “patriotism” and “nationalism,” but that would prove very little for at least two reasons.

First, people tend to think with their hearts, not with a dictionary.

Second, much depends on how a person uses the words in question. What, after all, was their intent?

When it comes to the perception of minorities in America, the word “nationalism” can have many negative connotations. The same holds true in Europe, where an unhealthy nationalism led directly to tens of millions of deaths.

On the other hand, even within Europe, countries like Hungary have pushed back against the increasing loss of national identity in light of Islamic encroachment. As Reuters reported in May, Hungarian Prime Minister “Viktor Orban said on Monday the main task of his new government will be to preserve Hungary’s security and Christian culture, sticking to his nationalist policy to keep out migrants and fend off what he calls foreign meddling.”

For this he has been widely criticized by many European leaders (not to mention liberal leaders worldwide). But are his policies that different than the European nations which have instituted burka bans? Or Chancellor Angela Merkel’s determination that immigrants must learn German to receive benefits? Or Switzerland’s ban on building on minarets, dating back to 2009?

In an op-ed piece on Fox News, Steve Hilton argued that Trump was right and Macron was wrong, writing that,

“Macron’s attack on President Trump was highly revealing. It lays bare the astonishing arrogance of the globalist ruling class who think it’s their moral duty to ignore democracy and instead run the world according to whatever makes life easier for the rootless and heartless global corporations that Macron and his gang of Davos elitists cravenly serve.”

And it is this mentality, quite obviously, which Trump is combating. He is saying no to a potentially dangerous globalism and yes to policies that put American interests first. In turn, a strong and healthy America brings strength and health to the entire world. And isn’t every national leader appointed by his or her people to put their own country’s best interests first?

It’s obvious that President Trump will not back down from the term “nationalist,” especially since he has come under criticism for using it. In fact, “nationalist” will now become a positive term for many of his supporters, just like “deplorables” became a term of honor, rather than shame, after Hillary Clinton’s infamous comment.

That means that the key thing will be to give the most positive definition possible, at the same time directly combatting xenophobia and racism. I would therefore propose this working definition for all who choose to use the term:

A nationalist is one who wants to see a strong and healthy America, to the benefit of every single citizen in our country, from every race and ethnicity. This, in turn, will contribute to a more stable, prosperous world.

Woman Faints During MAGA Rally And The Crowd’s Response Will Make You Scream Like A Bald Eagle(Video)

Reported By Wes Walker |

You would ONLY see something like this at a Republican rally. After all — the other party BOOED the mention of God at their convention a few years ago. As sometimes happens when any large crowd gathers, one lady in the audience gathered in Missouri fainted, and required medical attention.

How Trump handled it would leave his critics gobsmacked.

Trump took the stage and was halfway through his boilerplate stump when a woman fainted. The arena was very hot and very crowded and fainting is a relatively commonplace occurrence at large political rallies like this one.

Trump asked “Is there a doctor in the house?” and upon seeing that the woman was being attended to said “Take your time. Take your time. We have plenty of time, right? Don’t rush. That is one of our great people.”

Not only did he respectfully stop and wait for the seven minutes it took for medical staff to give her the help she needed, but he encouraged the crowd to pray for the woman, too.

When they seemed to indicate that she’d be ok, a cheer erupted from the crowd.

The crowd applauded and cheered as emergency medical staff rushed to the fainted woman. President Trump stepped away from the mic and looked on somberly for minutes on end. The crowd stood silently. “Say a little prayer. That is good. Say a little prayer,” Trump said to the audience. A minute later a spontaneous rendition of the classic hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ began to ring out.

The hymn echoed throughout the arena as the woman was carried out of the hall.

President Trump then turned to the audience, “I want to just thank everybody. That was beautiful. At the end was beautiful. ‘Amazing Grace.’ That was beautiful. Hopefully, she will be ok.

Trump, Mexico move to stop 2K (Updated to 4K) Honduran migrants

Reported by Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) | Thursday, October 18, 2018

Illegal immigrants caughtAn immigration enforcement advocate is encouraged by the efforts being made to stop a caravan of migrants from reaching the United States illegally.

The Honduran government has called on the 2,000-person caravan to give up its trek north and return home.

President Donald Trump has threatened to withhold $65 million in aid if Honduran leaders do not find a way to stop the caravan – which has already reached Guatemala.

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Public Studies Jessica Vaughan – who formerly served as a foreign service officer with the U.S. State Department – commended the president for continuing to be tough on immigration.

“I think it’s a good move for President Trump to have made the statements he’s made – that our relationship is going to be affected in a bad way,” the immigration expert expressed. “But I’m not sure there’s much the Honduran government can do. It evokes an image of East Germany – with the country trying to force people to stay home. I don’t think you can prevent people from leaving if they want to.”

Vaughan also pointed out that Guatemala has already caved into the caravan, but she is encouraged that Mexico has deployed officers to its southern border.

“They’re saying all the right things now, and they’re behaving more responsibly than they did in the spring when the earlier caravan came through and they actually issued them transit visas to continue to the United States,” she explained. “They seem to be responding to the statements of President Trump and our indications that our relationship is in trouble if they don’t behave like good neighbors.”

Vaughan stressed that it is a good sign that Mexico is realizing that it has more to gain than lose by cooperating with the U.S. on border enforcement.

WASHINGTON (October 18, 2018) — President Donald Trump is lashing out over the caravan of Central American migrants trying to reach the United States, saying that if Mexico does not stop the effort, he will use the military to “CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER.”

Trump tweeted Thursday that he wanted “Mexico to stop this onslaught.” He also appeared to threaten a revamped trade deal with Mexico and Canada.

Trump did not detail his military threat. Earlier this year, some National Guard members were deployed to the border on a limited mission that does not include contact with migrants.

More than 2,000 Hondurans are in a migrant caravan trying to reach the United States.

Mexico’s government says migrants with proper documents can enter and those who don’t either have to apply for refugee status or face deportation.

Dear Snowflakes: If This Trump Painting Freaks You Out – This Trump Art Will Give You A STROKE

Reported By Wes Walker |

It’s a great idea for an art piece. But it’s got Democrats in a lather. All because it puts the Republicans in a pleasant light — how DARE they!

Trump sitting at the table (with his signature diet Coke, it looks like) with previous Republican presidents – all reasonably young and vibrant — laughing around the table over drinks. Dubya and his dad are there, naturally. So are Reagan, Ford and Nixon. Eisenhower and Roosevelt are there, too, and further back are Coolidge and Harding.

Trending: LMAO: This Eminem Meme Will Make Patriots Howl Like A Monkey!

One woman emerging from the crowd stands in for an as yet unknown female leader who will take her place in the future. She also appears in the Democrat version of the same painting.

That’s right — the artist, Andy Thomas, wasn’t making a partisan statement. It was just his way of representing history in a memorable way… as artists have done since time immemorial.

Trump liked this painting and hung it in the White House. Trump has been criticized for doing so.

The president, however, did not commission the painting titled The Republican Club that was pictured during a walk through of the West Wing with 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl. It is the work of Andy Thomas, who also painted The Democratic Club during President Barack Obama’s time in office.
The Republican Club was a piece that had been done previously. This was an update to that painting, according to Thomas. It was re-worked to include 45.

They’re comparing it to ‘Dog’s Playing Poker’.

But lemme guess — if Obama had done the same thing with the Democrat version, and thy noticed, they would have cheered it as Obama ‘taking his place in history’, right?

There’s no winning with these people. So why not just troll them and ‘go all in’?

Imagine their reaction if he hung something from THIS collection in the White House?

They’d probably wet themselves.

Meadows: Religious liberty a high priority for Trump administration

Reported by Bill Bumpas, Chris Woodward (OneNewsNow.com) | Tuesday, October 16, 2018

Pastor Andrew Brunson releasedA U.S. congressman who was part of the effort to bring Pastor Andrew Brunson home recalls the “powerful moment” he witnessed as the pastor prayed over the President of the United States.

The televised meeting on Saturday between Brunson and President Donald Trump continues to have people talking. “What a day of celebration to know that not only Pastor Brunson is back home, but our God still reigns over the affairs of nations,” said Congressman Mark Meadows (R-North Carolina). “It is a great day of rejoicing.”

Meadows, who made his comments Monday on “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins,” went on to say that it was a powerful moment to see a man of God – who not only had been in prison but also possibly would not be coming home – now free.

Andrew Brunson praying over Trump“At times, it looked very, very bleak [for Brunson],” said Meadows, who was among the lawmakers and administration officials in the Oval Office on Saturday. “The president deserves just unbelievable gratitude not just from Republicans or Democrats or unaffiliated, but from those who believe in religious liberty. And it was a powerful moment as the president was prayed for by Pastor Brunson.”

(See C-SPAN report; prayer begins at 7:30 into the video)

Meadows added that the entire Trump administration made him feel that there was no higher priority than getting Brunson home. “I had the opportunity to not only talk to the pastor and his wife, but to his children,” he continued. “They were so unbelievably grateful … and it lets us know that Americans will not be left behind.”

Meadows was also moved by the “Christ-like love” Brunson obviously has for the Turkish people. “He said that in the Oval Office,” the congressman emphasized, “and that’s saying something after being imprisoned against your will.”

Brunson was accused of espionage and terrorism. On Friday he was found guilty in a Turkish court of terrorism, but released on time served. He had been held in prison and under house arrest by the Turkish government for two years.

Brunson’s back … but don’t stop now!

The successful return of the American pastor to the U.S. after being imprisoned in Turkey for his faith is inspiring hopes that more persecuted Christians will be freed from captivity.

Faith McDonnell is director of religious liberty programs at The Institute on Religion & Democracy as well as a founding member of Save the Persecuted Christians. McDonnell says she’s grateful for the work by the Trump administration to gain Brunson’s freedom – and she’s hopeful it could lead to relief for other oppressed believers.

McDonnell, Faith (IRD)“… I would love to see this kind of effort go on for other Christians who are being persecuted and imprisoned, whether they’re American citizens or not – particularly Leah Sharibu right now,” says the IRD spokeswoman.

Sharibu is the Christian teenage girl being held captive by Boko Haram. McDonnell tells OneNewsNow that Pastor Brunson’s positive outcome should motivate the Trump administration to move forward in helping other persecuted Christians.

“But it’s going to take continued encouragement from American Christians,” she explains. “They need to care as much about a little girl in Nigeria as they do about an American pastor – so Americans need to continue to step up to the plate and be advocates for persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.”

If that happens, McDonnell is convinced the Trump White House will continue to take positive steps towards helping more persecuted Christians.

Commentary: “You don’t support Trump? Neither did I, until …”

Commentary by Dr. Michael L. Brown – Guest Columnist | Monday, October 15, 2018 | http://www.askdrbrown.org/

Michael BrownWhat’s changing the minds of some formerly Never Trumpers? How is it that today, despite my ongoing concerns about some of the president’s message and methods, I’m hoping for a red wave in the midterms?

I’m reading about more and more former people like Erick Erickson. They were once Never Trumpers, but they would vote for him in 2020 if he runs again. What’s changing their minds?

I too once opposed Donald Trump. I didn’t like his past. I didn’t trust his intentions. His character, to me, was highly suspect. I had no idea what he really believed or stood for. And I certainly questioned if his outreach to evangelical Christian leaders was sincere. Wasn’t he just using them, as others had in the past?

To be totally honest, I had actually forgotten just how deeply I disliked him when he was a Republican primary candidate. But when editing my new book on Trump, which includes 90 Trump-related articles from August 2015 to August 2018, I realized just how much of a problem I used to have with this highly controversial figure.

You see, most of us remember the past through the filter of the present. It’s like the man who says to his wife after 30 years of marriage, “I want a divorce. The truth is, I never really loved you.”

His present attitude has clearly distorted the facts of the past.

It was the same with me and Donald Trump. It was only while re-reading my articles written about him during the primaries that I remembered just how much I did not want to see him win.

And, to be brutally honest, since I had endorsed Ted Cruz and Trump was his main opposition, on some level, even subconsciously, I must have looked at Trump as the competitor. So, just like you root for your home team and against the opposition, I rooted for Cruz and against Trump.

How did I go from that attitude to rooting for him and voting for him? How is it that today, despite my ongoing concerns about some of the president’s message and methods, I’m hoping for a red wave in the midterms? (For the record, I’m registered as an Independent but consistently vote Republican, especially because of key social issues.)

Let’s think about what is changing the minds of some formerly Never Trumpers:

  • The Kavanaugh hearings revealed just how intense and ugly the opposition can be.

  • The Democrat-inspired mobocracy is deeply disturbing.

  • The radicality of the pro-abortion movement has been unveiled for all to see, along with the radicality of the extreme feminist movement.

  • The outright hostility of the leftwing media has revealed their depth of antipathy, not just to Trump but to conservative values in general.

  • The emergence of die-hard socialist candidates has made our choices more stark.

  • It’s even increasingly hard to deny that some kind of “deep state” exists.

On the positive side, Trump has done a great job with the economy. He is doing better against ISIS and Islamic terrorism. He has proven to be a true friend to Israel. He has made some positive progress with hostile countries. He is absolutely keeping his promises about Supreme Court and federal court nominees. And he has proven sincere in his commitment to stand with evangelical Christians.

In my case, there were several factors that led to a change of thinking, all of which can be followed in the chronological reprinting of the 90 aforementioned articles included in my book.

  • First, I always said that if it was Trump vs. Hillary, I would reevaluate my opposition to him.
  • Second, prophetic words from friends of mine saying that God had raised up Trump like a Cyrus-type figure (a foreign king who was not a worshiper of Yahweh) had me asking the whole time, “Am I wrong here?”
  • Third, the fact that he struck a chord with so many Americans got my attention.
  • Fourth, the fact that he beat so many fine Republican candidates suggested strongly to me that there was a supernatural wind in his sails.
  • Fifth, close friends of mine who were respected evangelical leaders spent lots of time with him and assured me that he was open and listening.
  • Sixth, his positions became more consistent, leading me to believe (or at least hope) that he would keep his word, hence my vote for him.

Now while I certainly do not support his every word and deed, I must say as president he is doing the things I hoped he would do if elected.

Would it be great if he would be a good role model too? Absolutely.

Do I often wish that he could unify more people behind him? Certainly.

But am I glad I voted for him? Without a doubt.

And, as I’ve often said, if it were Trump vs. Hillary today, I’d vote for him without any hesitation.

Perhaps this analogy will prove helpful.

There are a bunch of pit bulls with rabies terrorizing a neighborhood and biting the children. But there is no town dog catcher, and kids are suffering and dying.

Two candidates emerge.

One is the nicest guy in the world. He’s happily married with great kids, and you’ll never hear a foul word from him. But he can’t even catch a fly. The guy is hopeless.

The other candidate is as nasty as they come. His three ex-wives hate him. He curses like a drunken sailor. But the guy can catch a dog with his teeth.

For whom would you vote?

That’s where many formerly Never Trumpers are today. The stakes are that high, and he’s the man for the job. A great role model would be a wonderful plus. It’s just not in the cards right now.

So, let’s keep standing with President Trump, both in prayer and in face-to-face support, helping him become a better man. And let’s make our voices and votes heard for the good of the nation. The political stakes are really that high.

Pastor Brunson: Lord, give Trump wisdom, endurance, courage

Reported by Jody Brown (OneNewsNow.com) | Monday, October 15, 2018

Andrew Brunson praying over TrumpOne day after being released from house arrest in Turkey, American pastor Andrew Brunson was in the Oval Office, where he prayed over President Donald Trump.

After spending nearly two years in jail and then some time under house arrest, Brunson was freed on Friday by a Turkish court despite the fact that the court found the pastor guilty on terrorism charges. Within hours he was spirited away, taken by military aircraft to Germany where he was examined at a U.S. military hospital then flown to the U.S.

On Saturday, the just-released evangelical pastor and his family were hosted at the White House by President Trump. “From a Turkish prison to the White House in 24 hours – that’s not bad,” the president stated.

Brunson thanked the president for helping secure his release. “We pray for you often as a family, my wife and I pray for you. You really fought for us, unusually so,” the 50-year-old pastor told Trump. “From the time you took office, we know that you’ve been engaged.”

The president deflected the praise to many other elected and administration officials in attendance, including Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and several U.S. senators and representatives. After thanking them as well for their efforts, Pastor Brunson prayed over the president, requesting that he be blessed with “supernatural wisdom.”

“I ask that you pour out Your Holy Spirit on President Trump, that You give him supernatural wisdom to accomplish all the plans You have for this country,” he prayed. “I ask that You give him wisdom in how to lead this country into righteousness. I ask that You give him perseverance and endurance and courage to stand for truth.”

Trump a ‘course correction’

David Curry, president and CEO of Open Doors USA, tells OneNewsNow that he’s pleased – and relieved – with the news of Brunson’s release.

“It’s been long overdue but we’re grateful for it nonetheless,” Curry shares. “Very thankful that the president was able to see the value in making human rights a priority – and really, by putting strong sanctions on Turkey around the religious freedom of Pastor Brunson I think [Trump] expedited his release.”

Curry continues: “I applaud President Trump for the unrelenting pressure his administration applied to Turkey on this matter, in part through tariffs and sanctions. The president has rightly recognized that economic leverage can help bring positive change for human rights and can convey a powerful message of solidarity with oppressed religious minorities, especially persecuted Christians. In this case, it worked and was helpful in the release of an American Christian.”

David Brody, CBN’s White House correspondent, writes in an op-ed for USA Today that Brunson’s release from Turkey is the latest example of President Trump’s commitment to upholding traditional Judeo-Christian principles:

“Picking his Supreme Court justices is the generational cornerstone of a much larger change. In the evangelical world, whether it’s moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, actively upholding religious liberty, eagerly encouraging pro-life policies, or standing strong for the Judeo-Christian values that made America the best country in the world, Trump is seen as an instrument in a much needed American course correction.”

Evidently that’s not just Brody’s opinion. He says he hears it “all the time” in his reporting, interviews, and comments. “The majority of evangelicals think God has raised up Trump to be president at this time in America’s history,” he writes.

Woodward: No evidence of Trump-Russia collusion

Reported By Rick Moran | September 16, 2018

If the Democrats take control of the House, Donald Trump is likely to be impeached. It doesn’t mean he’s guilty of an impeachable offense, all it means is that the political realities and hyperpartisan climate in Washington make impeachment almost inevitable.

There are any number of excuses Democrats can use to put the country through the ringer on impeachment. There’s a case for obstruction of justice – a weak case but Mueller may decide that’s all he’s got and recommend indicting the president for firing James Comey. Or there may be some unknown charge that Mueller is considering, perhaps connected to the Stormy Daniels payoff.

You will note I have not mentioned that Trump will be impeached for colluding with Russia to win the election. That’s because, despite desperately hopeful commentary from the left as Trump associates plead guilty and are granted immunity, the opposition tells itself that Trump is trapped, or a dead duck, and will be charged with treason for conspiring with a foreign power, even though there isn’t a shred of evidence to make that case.

What’s going to happen when Mueller’s final report doesn’t recommend indicting Trump for collusion?

In an interview with Hugh Hewitt, Watergate reporter and recent author of the Trump book “Fear,” said that in his two years investigating the president, he found no evidence of collusion – none.

RealClearPolitics:

In an interview with Hugh Hewitt on Friday, Bob Woodward said that in his two years of investigating for his new book, ‘Fear,’ he found no evidence of collusion or espionage between Trump and Russia. Woodward said he looked for it “hard” and yet turned up nothing.

“So let’s set aside the Comey firing, which as a Constitutional law professor, no one will ever persuade me can be obstruction. And Rod Rosenstein has laid out reasons why even if those weren’t the president’s reasons. Set aside the Comey firing. Did you, Bob Woodward, hear anything in your research in your interviews that sounded like espionage or collusion?” Hugh Hewitt asked Woodward.

“I did not, and of course, I looked for it, looked for it hard,” Woodward answered. “And so you know, there we are. We’re going to see what Mueller has, and Dowd may be right. He has something that Dowd and the president don’t know about, a secret witness or somebody who has changed their testimony. As you know, that often happens, and that can break open or turn a case.”

“But you’ve seen no collusion?” Hewitt asked again to confirm.

“I have not,” Woodward affirmed.

Hewitt would once again ask Woodward about collusion at the conclusion of the interview.

“Very last question, Bob Woodward, I just want to confirm, at the end of two years of writing this book, this intensive effort, you saw no effort, you, personally, had no evidence of collusion or espionage by the president presented to you?” Hewitt asked.

“That is correct,” Woodward said.

Mueller has never said that the president is a target in his investigation. There is no witness who has come forward with any testimony or evidence of Trump colluding with Russia. There has been no leak from the special counsel’s office that suggests collusion. No congressman or senator on the intelligence committees has said there is any evidence of collusion. There has been no leak from congress that would point to collusion.

Why then, the gleeful celebrations every time a Trump crony pleads guilty and is promised immunity? The plea deal made by Paul Manafort in exchange for his testimony illustrates this point. Trump is “cornered.” He’s “nervous.” He’s losing his grip. Manafort, or some other aide will “bring Trump down.”

Where does this optimism come from? As you can guess, it is wishful thinking. And the basis for this magical thinking is the Democrat’s continuing denial of the reason Hillary Clinton lost the election.

It is comforting for the left to believe in the collusion narrative. It means they don’t have to face the hard fact that they nominated the worst presidential candidate in modern history – a woman who had nothing to say, nothing to offer the voters except that she was a woman. A woman who disdained ordinary people, who insulted the electorate, and whose own shady dealings made her the least trusted presidential candidate ever.

But it wasn’t her fault! It was the Russians who elected her! What happens when there are no collusion charges presented by Mueller will be the Second Great Awakening as the left tries to come to grips with their own epic failure.

Tax Reform Spurs a Doubling of This Texan’s Business

“Our sales have just gone through the roof … because of the general business climate everywhere,” Austin Hose co-owner Jim Cramer says. Pictured: Cramer with sons Bill, left, and Daniel, right. (Photo courtesy of Jim Cramer)

Republican-passed tax reform has helped to more than double his supply company’s business, a Texas entrepreneur says.

“The tax reform took our taxes from 34 percent down to 21 percent, so we had additional capital and we used that capital to reinvest in the business,” Jim Cramer said in a phone interview Thursday with The Daily Signal.

Cramer is a co-owner of Amarillo-based Austin Hose, a supplier of hose, fittings, and accessories with six locations serving six states.

He spoke with The Daily Signal four days before House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady, R-Texas, introduced three bills to build on the success of the initial overhaul of the tax code.

When President Donald Trump was elected, Cramer said, his business had 70 employees. It now has 150.

“So in just less than two years, we have more than doubled,” he said. “And our sales have just gone through the roof … because of the general business climate everywhere.”

Confidence among U.S. small businesses reached a historic high in August, according to the National Federation of Independent Business. The lobbying group’s monthly index hit 108.8 in August, the highest level in its 45-year existence. The reading eclipsed the previous record high of 108 from July 1983, Business Insider reported.

The tax reform package, which cleared Congress Dec. 20 and went into effect Jan. 1 after Trump signed it, repealed the corporate alternative minimum tax in addition to cutting the corporate income tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

It also provided for full and immediate expensing, which allows businesses to deduct expenses immediately from taxable income, an element that Cramer says has been a huge asset to Austin Hose.

“If you can expense it immediately, as opposed to doing it over four or five years, that has an immediate effect on your business and your taxes, so we have probably … bought 20 trucks in the last 18 months,” Cramer said, adding:

We have really invested heavily in plans and equipment, [and] we have opened a new branch in Oklahoma City. In the last two years, our sales have doubled; it went up 50 percent a year ago and they’re going up another 50 percent this year.

Cramer, 60, has lived in Texas since eighth grade. He and his wife, Josette, have six children. Two of their children are employed at Austin Hose: Daniel, who is CEO, and Billy, who works at the Amarillo warehouse.

Cramer said he sees a marked difference in both the economy and how businesses are treated between the presidencies of Barack Obama and Donald Trump:

The big problem for the last eight years with President Obama is you just had no idea what was coming next. And in terms of tax relief, we didn’t get any tax relief; corporations did not. You never knew what new regulations might pop up and cause all kinds of problems in your business. We just have a lot better understanding of what the future looks like for the next several years, so we are really excited about it.

Public policy has a direct influence on the outlook of business owners and whether they are willing to take risks, Cramer said:

If you have a positive attitude about the future of your industry, it makes a big difference.

You have to have a lot of confidence in the future, and what the business environment is going to look like if you are going to add that kind of staff to your payroll. And we are just real confident, not only about the way things are going now but how the future looks. So if you have that confidence, you are willing to do that and step out on a limb and reinvest in your business.

Cramer said he wants lawmakers to build on the success of the initial tax reform package in a “Tax Reform 2.0” overhaul like that outlined Monday by Brady.

“My request would be to make … the changes to the corporate taxes permanent,” Cramer told The Daily Signal, “to allow us to depreciate as many assets as possible. Because when you are buying things, that’s stimulating the economy right on down the line.”

“You buy trucks and crimpers and computers and software, and we are buying all that stuff,” he added. “So if we can expense that in the year that we buy, that gives us the opportunity to accelerate everything.”

Cramer said American businesses and employees have Trump to thank for the economic success from tax reform.

“I don’t know what better thing you can do for an individual without work than give him a job; that to me is just super important,” Cramer said, adding:

And when I talk to all my friends who are more on the liberal side, that’s what I tell them … the environment that President Trump has created is an environment where we are willing to go out on a limb and invest in our business and hire more people, and that to me is extremely important.

Now CNN Blames Trump For … Hurricanes? No, This Isn’t Satire

Reported By Wes Walker |

If anyone was wondering what end-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome looks like, apparently it is the belief that he has God-like Malevolent powers. Every bad thing that happens has some kind of a tie-in to Trumpian responsibility. And today’s example of that awesome malevolent power is weather control.

CNN employees worked hard to discredit and drive from the Internet Alex Jones for, among other reasons, promoting conspiracy theories. And now that he’s all but disappeared from the digital public square CNN has moved in and filled the vacuum he left behind by reporting ideas that used to be firmly in the ‘tinfoil hat’ category — the weather.

CNN cited an editorial from WaPo as their excuse for treating this like a legitimate news story, as the East Coast is bracing for a big storm to come crashing down upon their shores. And of course, they found a way to lend credibility or legitimacy to that OP-ED:

Is Trump “complicit in this storm?” asked Alisyn Camerota in the segment introduction.

“His policies have been tearing down our defenses to climate change, which is often a blame for extreme weather,” Avlon answered. “On the same day Trump was discussing Florence, his EPA proposed rolling back restrictions on emissions of methane. That’s just the latest environmental policy targeted by the Trump Administration.”

Avlon rattled off a series of Obama-era environmental regulations the Trump Administration is rolling back — including pulling out of the Paris climate accord — and then boldly predicted a death toll in the thousands.

“It is so bad according to two Harvard scientists, it could lead to 80,000 unnecessary deaths every decade,” Avlon said. “Warmer water means more intense storms. When President Trump called Hurricane Florence tremendously wet, he was on to something.”
Source: Federalist Papers

In using the phrase ‘this storm’ she’s claiming that choices Trump made since taking office — and Trump alone — had such a profound effect on the environment off the Western Coast of Africa, where hurricanes that hit the East Coast first form, that we are already seeing violent storms because of it.

Have you seen overheated rhetoric like this before? Of course you have, a ‘Hugo Chavez mouthpiece’ was talking about USA unleashing our ‘earthquake weapon’ on Haiti and I can remember hearing about people who were convinced that America was somehow responsible for the devastating Tsunami that hit Japan just after Christmas.

What’s NEW about these wild theories is that the so-called ‘legitimate’ news sources have now laid the personal blame for particular storms on particular politicians. What do we expect from the people who were slavishly devoted to Obama, the man who announced at the Democratic Primary that ‘today was the day’ that would be pointed to as when the earth began to heal, and the oceans stopped rising.

(Sorry Hillary, apparently you were just not ‘green’ enough.)

And who are these theories being leveled against? It just ‘happens’ to be politicians the ‘non-partisan’ news media are in fundamental disagreement with on almost every issue. What a coincidence.

There is no POSSIBLE way they can draw a straight line of causation between the cause and effect. Why is that a big deal? It means they are LITERALLY presenting propaganda dressed up as news, especially when they throw in that line about ‘80,000 unnecessary deaths’.

Do you know what they conveniently left out of their Blame America weather change alarmism? They left out the detail that there really is one country that is attempting to make massive man-made changes to weather patterns. They are building machines whose sole purpose is to increase man-made climate change. And they are building them by the thousands. That would be China.

China is installing tens of thousands of chambers across the Tibetan Plateau and mountains. These machines will produce very fine silver iodide particles that are then lifted into the atmosphere with upwelling winds. As these particles are dispersed into the atmosphere they act as the nucleating point of condensed water.

[…] Each rain machine (chamber) is expected to create a 3-mile long strip of billowing clouds. When multiplied by the thousands of chambers China is installing along the Tibetan Plateau, it is estimated that China will be artificially controlling the weather over an area similar to the size of Alaska.
Source: Forbes

A little rough math puts Alaska at about 1% of the Earth’s total landmass, for anyone keeping score.

But they’re looking for ways to blame TRUMP for 80,000 deaths a decade, are they?

And for what? For leaving a meaningless, nonbinding agreement that bypassed the role of Congressional approval?

Sorry, CNN, if you’re going to tell stories like that one, and call it ‘news’ you’ll need to update your company dress code.

These hats will now be standard-issue and should be worn at all times.

Attorney John Dowd: ‘I Saw a Stall Going On’ With Mueller Probe

Reported By Susan Jones | September 6, 2018 | 5:29

AM EDT

Former Trump attorney John Dowd told Fox News he regrets relying on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s word that Mueller would move quickly on the Trump-Russia investigation. (Photo: Screen capture/Fox News)

(CNSNews.com) – The Trump administration has given Special Counsel Robert Mueller all the witnesses and documents he requested; Mueller understands that the investigation is a “great burden on the president”; and Mueller has even told President Trump’s legal team that Trump is not a target of the investigation, Trump’s former attorney John Dowd said Wednesday night.

Yet Mueller has not kept his word about wrapping up the Trump-Russia investigation, as he should have done by now, Dowd said.

“That’s when I saw a stall going on, and I just lost complete faith in him because we had shaken hands,” Dowd told Fox News’s Sean Hannity. He said he now regrets taking Mueller at his word.

Dowd, who resigned from Trump’s legal team in March, said it was Mueller’s suggestion that his team “engage” and “work together” with the White House — “and we said fine.”

You ask for the document list, ask for your witnesses. And Ty Cobb and Jay (Sekulow) and I provided them. And he said he wouldn’t let any grass grow. And every meeting and communication we had, we stressed how important it was and how his inquiry was a great burden on the president, and interfered with the president’s ability to lead this country, particularly in foreign affairs.

And he said he took that very seriously. And on and on, he gave me his word he would do it. And we got to late last year and he had completed the 37 witnesses. And I asked him, did you have any problem with those witnesses? They were all well-represented, all well-prepared, and he said no. Did anyone lie to you? No.

Documents. We gave you 1.4 million but more importantly, we gave you the most intimate notes of the communications and deliberations by the president. No president in history has ever done anything like that. Are we missing anything, are there any missing documents? No. Are you satisfied with everything you’ve got? Yes.

I said, well, what’s the president’s exposure? Well, The president’s exposure, he’s a witness slash/subject. I said, so he’s not a target, correct? Correct. That means he had no exposure. And at that point we said well, why don’t you just decline?

He said well, we’d like to get back to you on that but we think we need to talk to the president…And we said, what do you not know that we have not given you — that only the president knows? And he could never answer that question, Sean. And that’s when I saw a stall going on, and I just lost complete faith in him because we had shaken hands.

He’s the one who said, John, we’ll engage. We said, we are not going to raise conflicts, we are not going to raise the legality of the order, we are not going to fool with all this nonsense, let’s get the job done. This president wants the job done. And by the way the president gets the credit. He’s the one that said, give it to him.

Do you now regret believing Mueller? Hannity asked.

“I regret relying on him because he didn’t keep his word,” Dowd replied. “And I believed he would keep his word.

“But more importantly the way we did it completely protected the president. We’ve not waived executive privilege. We’ve not had four years of litigation. We’ve not had motions to quash grand jury subpoenas. We’ve not had anyone go in the grand jury, Sean.

“There is no case there, and that’s what Bob Mueller ought to face up and do. So yeah, it’s a very sad thing to see and then, you see the other cases — I mean, you see the Flynn case and the other case and it’s just — it’s more (of) this sorry abusive practice in the prosecutive ranks.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Hall Monitor Nation”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

Apart from building the wall, President Trump’s most important act as president so far was his attack on internet censorship this week.

The left controls all the cultural institutions — the establishment media, corporate America, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, public schools and universities. The only breach in their total dominion of the flow of information is the internet. So now they’re fixated like a laser beam on private citizens yammering to one another online.

Why can’t people accept the officially certified news as delivered by respected truth-tellers like Brian Williams, CNN and NBC — the network that censored Juanita Broaddrick and illegally leaked the “Access Hollywood” tape?

Liberals assessed the situation and correctly concluded: People are learning facts on the internet that we’ve been withholding from them, so now they don’t agree with us. We have to stop this.

The media relentlessly lied to the public about Hillary’s health, denouncing conservatives as “conspiracy theorists” for mentioning it. Then an alert citizen with an iPhone captured Hillary having to be carried to her car at the 9/11 memorial service in 2016.

Mainstream media outlets painted a cherubic picture of Michael Brown after he was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. He was a “gentle giant,” gunned down like a dog as he plaintively cried, “Hands up! Don’t shoot!”

HEY! Wait a second! How did that video get out of Brown manhandling a tiny Indian man while robbing a convenience store? That should have been suppressed like the Broaddrick interview!

Would we ever have known about Monica Lewinsky, but for the Drudge Report publishing the blockbuster story that Newsweek had killed?

Currently, the establishment media are in a rage that the public has found out about the modern genocide being waged against white South African farmers. ( https://whatdidyousay.org/2016/09/28/most-important-article-written-in-2016-when-america-becomes-south-africa/ (https://whatdidyousay.org/2018/07/23/dear-cnn-theres-a-white-genocide-going-on-in-south-africa-is-that-news/)

I can’t even blame them. If I were advising liberals, I’d say: You’ve got only one small breach in the wall of sound; you’ve got to ban conservative speech on the internet.

It’s not as if the left has ever shown any particular commitment to free speech. They love “transgressive” ideas and “controversial” speech — but only when they’re in the minority. As soon as they get control, no more free speech for you! Just look at the universities.

You might think that the exact same people wailing about Trump attacking the “free press” (fake news) would be too embarrassed to use their next breath to demand censorship on the internet. But that’s exactly what they’re doing.

On Sunday night, MSNBC host Kasie Hunt spent her entire interview with Facebook’s former chief information security officer Alex Stamos, demanding that Facebook go pedal-to-the-metal on censoring conservatives. It was left to defender of the reich Stamos to mumble something about not banning speech based on “content.”

Indignant that Alex Jones was allowed to “foment dissent on controversial topics online,” Kasie asked, “Did Facebook react too slowly to the Alex Jones issue? … Does Facebook have a responsibility to take on figures like this?”

Kasie then quoted Stamos back to himself, citing a memo in which he’d written: “We need to be willing to pick sides when there are clear moral or humanitarian issues.”

One “clear,” “moral,” “humanitarian issue” for Facebook — which according to Kasie isn’t doing enough censoring — is to prevent any criticism of caterwauling, protesting illegal aliens. (That sentence just violated Facebook’s Community Standards.)

Last May, I was notified by Facebook’s Julia Smekalina that “one of your posts was reported and found to be in violation of our Community Standards.”

Little Nazi block watchers are constantly reporting conservatives. They can’t just stop following people they don’t like. Liberals used to mock fundamentalist Christians, claiming they feared that someone, somewhere, may be happy. Now they’re the ones haunted by the fear that someone, somewhere, may disagree with them.

The offending post was from January, months earlier, when I retweeted John Binder’s story on Breitbart News headlined: “Illegal aliens who say they ‘deserve’ amnesty tell pro-amnesty Sen. Thom Tillis: ‘Fck this conservative! Fck this person!’”

Illegals screaming obscenities at a U.S. senator does not offend Facebook community standards. It was the comment added to the story by the pro-American immigration website, Vdare: “It would be so easy to just deport these parasites @realDonaldTrump. They hate you, they hate your supporters, they hate your party, they hate our country. Why not just enforce the law and send them home?”

(The reason I’m talking about “tweets” when it was Facebook that censored me is that I detest Facebook, so the only “posts” of mine that ever showed up there were my tweets, which used to transfer automatically. Now they don’t, so I’ll never go to Facebook again.)

Here is my full and complete exchange with Smekalina, defender of “Community Standards,” illustrating what a complete joy using Facebook is.

From: Ann Coulter:

Okay, you’ll have to tell me how to delete. nothing I click on offers the option of deleting. I wish you’d spend more time making facebook user friendly. Also, can you please tell me how it violates community standards to support enforcing the law? is the word “parasites” forbidden?

From: Julia Smekalina:

… yes, comparing immigrants to parasites is the specific portion in violation of our policies.

From: Ann Coulter:

It’s obviously NOT about “immigrants.” it’s about illegal immigrants, i.e. law breakers. is it a violation to call lawbreakers “parasites”?

I never heard from Julia again, but I gather she helpfully deleted the post for me. At the risk of bringing MSNBC’s hammer down on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, the tweet’s still available there.

Pro-Trump Event Gets Rained Out. President Goes Above and Beyond for Those Who Came

Reported By Bryan Chai | August 12, 2018 at 1:54pm

Mother Nature can be a fickle mistress.

Even the best-laid plans are at the mercy of everyday elements like wind and rain.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump and his administration were preparing to welcome approximately 180 bikers, consisting of veterans, police officers and members of the “Bikers For Trump” New Jersey chapter for a meet and greet event.

The event was set to take place at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where Trump is currently on a “working vacation.”

Unsurprisingly, it’s a gorgeous golf club.

Well, it’s normally gorgeous — not so much when there’s a torrential downpour.

Unfortunately for all of the event’s many attendees, the event was rained out.

Now, nobody would’ve blamed the president for canceling or rescheduling the event to try and avoid the rainfall. In fact, with the weather expected to clear up, so he could’ve postponed it for later in the day.

Instead, Trump went above and beyond for his supporters in a way that even his most hardened detractors would struggle to nitpick.

Trump’s certainly not above reproach, but nobody will ever critique him for not caring deeply for his most die-hard supporters.

Without hesitating, Trump invited everyone inside his luxurious golf club which is a pretty big improvement from a simple outdoors photo-op.

Trump greeted many of the guests personally, shook hands, signed autographs and took photos.

It all seemed like controlled chaos in the ballroom at his golf club, which is fitting, considering that’s an apt description for the whirlwind first half of his presidential term.

Eventually, the event moved outside when the weather cleared up a bit, and Trump provided even more photo-ops despite his already generous gesture to move everyone inside.

Trump Will Shut Down Government Over Border Wall Funding

Reported By |

URL of the original posting site: https://www.lifezette.com/2018/07/trump-will-shut-down-government-over-border-wall-funding/

President Donald Trump threatened to shut down the federal government in September if Democratic lawmakers continue their obstruction and “do not give us the votes for Border Security [and] … the Wall” along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“I would be willing to ‘shut down’ government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc. and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!”Trump tweeted Sunday.

“Build the Wall” on the U.S. border with Mexico was among Trump’s signature promises during his 2016 presidential bid, as he campaigned heavily on tighter immigration enforcement. But the nominally Republican Congress has struggled to reach any consensus on funding the border wall and implementing other key items on Trump’s immigration agenda.

Although Trump demanded action on immigration as part of Congress’ $1.3 trillion spending package, passed in March, he signed the bill without those measures to avoid a government shutdown. He warned at the time that he would never sign “another bill like this”again.

“There are a lot of things we shouldn’t have had in this bill, but we were, in a sense, forced if we want to build our military, we were forced to have,” Trump said in March. “There are some things we should have in the bill. But I say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again.”

With the federal fiscal year ending September 30, the president warned that he would accept nothing less than wall funding and the other three tough immigration reforms he has repeatedly asked Congress to enact. Trump also doubled down Sunday on defending his administration’s tough immigration enforcement policies amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the since-scrapped zero tolerance policy, which separated illegal immigrant children from their parents at the border.

“Please understand, there are consequences when people cross our Border illegally, whether they have children or not — and many are just using children for their own sinister purposes. Congress must act on fixing the DUMBEST & WORST immigration laws anywhere in the world! Vote ‘R,’” Trump tweeted, referring to the 2018 midterm elections and the GOP’s need to hold its congressional majority.

The president’s renewed call for border wall funding, immigration reform, and strict enforcement measures came as Democrats appeared to be looking for a different campaign centerpiece from their recent calls to abolish the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

This Weel’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Central Park Rapists: Trump Was Right”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

The city of New York released thousands of documents from the 1989 Central Park rape case last week, provoking more weeping and gnashing of teeth over Donald Trump’s full-page ads in four New York newspapers taken out soon after that attack with the headline:

“BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY.

“BRING BACK OUR POLICE!”

His ad never mentioned the Central Park rape, but talked about New York families — “White, Black, Hispanic and Asian” — unable to enjoy walks through the park at dusk. Of muggers and murderers, he said, “I no longer want to understand their anger. I want them to understand our anger. … They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes.”

According to the media, the five convicted boys were INNOCENT — and Trump would have executed the poor lads! Apart from the “innocent” moniker, the rape victim miraculously survived, there was no murder, so this is nonsense.

But let’s look at how “innocent” they were.

On April 19, 1989, investment banker Trisha Meili went for a run through Central Park around 9 p.m., whereupon she was attacked by a wolf pack looking for a “white girl,” dragged 100 yards into the woods, stripped, beaten with a pipe and a brick, raped and left for dead. By the time the police found Meili, she’d lost three-quarters of her blood. Her case was initially assigned to the homicide unit of the D.A.’s office because none of her doctors thought she would make it through the night.

Of the 37 youths brought in for questioning about the multiple violent attacks in the park that night, only 10 were charged with a crime and only five for the rape of the jogger: Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson and Korey Wise. All five confessed — four on videotape with adult relatives present and one with a parent present, but not on videotape.

Two unanimous, multicultural juries convicted them, despite aggressive defense lawyers putting on their best case. But the media have a different method of judging guilt and innocence. They don’t look at irrelevant factors, such as evidence, but at relevant factors such as the race of the accused and the victim.

Unfortunately for Meili, she was guilty of white privilege, while her attackers belonged to the “people of color” Brahmin caste. So, after waiting an interminable 13 years, the media proclaimed that the five convicts had been “exonerated” by DNA evidence!

DNA evidence didn’t convict them, so it couldn’t exonerate them. This was a gang attack. It was always known that another rapist “got away,” as the prosecutor told the jury, and that none of the defendants’ DNA was found in the jogger’s cervix or on her sock — the only samples that were taken.

While it blows most people away to find out that none of the suspects’ DNA was found on Meili, the whole trick is that they’re looking at it through a modern lens. Today, these kids’ DNA would have been found all over the crime scene. But in 1989, DNA was a primitive science. The cops wouldn’t have even looked for such evidence back then.

The case was solved with other evidence — and there was a lot of it.

On the drive to the precinct, Raymond Santana blurted out, “I had nothing to do with the rape. All I did was feel the woman’s t–s.” The cops didn’t even know about a rape yet.

Yusef Salaam announced to the detective interviewing him, “I was there, but I didn’t rape her.” Even if true, under the law, anyone who participated in the attack on Meili is guilty of her rape.

Two of Korey Wise’s friends said that when they ran into him on the street the day after the attack, he told them the cops were after him. “You heard about that woman that was beat up and raped in the park last night? That was us!”

Taken to the scene of the crime by a detective and a prosecutor, he said, “Damn, damn, that’s a lot of blood. … I knew she was bleeding, but I didn’t know how bad she was. It was dark. I couldn’t see how much blood there was at night.”

Wise also told a detective that someone he thought was named “Rudy” stole the jogger’s Walkman and belt pouch. The jogger was still in a coma. The police did not know yet that a Walkman had been stolen from her.

Wise told a friend’s sister, Melody Jackson, that he didn’t rape the jogger; he “only held her legs down while Kevin (Richardson) f—ed her.” Jackson volunteered this information to the police, thinking it would help Wise.

The night of the attack, Richardson told an acquaintance, “We just raped somebody.” The crotch of his underwear was suspiciously stained with semen, grass stains, dirt and debris. Walking near the crime scene with a detective the next day, Richardson said, “This is where we got her … where the raping occurred.”

Santana and Richardson independently brought investigators to the precise location of the attack on the jogger.

Recall that, when all these statements were made, no one — not the police, the witnesses, the suspects, or their friends and acquaintances — knew whether Meili would emerge from her coma and be able to identify her attackers.

Sarah Burns, who co-wrote and co-directed the propaganda film “The Central Park Five” with her father (whose reputation she has now destroyed), waved away the defendants’ confessions — forget all the other evidence — in a 2016 New York Times op-ed, explaining: “The power imbalance in an interrogation room is extreme, especially when the suspects are young teenagers, afraid of the police and unfamiliar with the justice system or their rights.”

Burns has studied the trial transcripts so closely that she called the prosecutor by the wrong name in her op-ed. Far from trembling and afraid, as Burns imagines, the suspects were singing the rap song “Wild Thing” for hours in the precinct house, laughing and joking about raping the jogger. One of the attackers said, “It was fun.”

When a cop told Santana that he should have been out with a girlfriend rather than mugging people in Central Park, Santana responded, “I already got mines,” and laughed with another boy from the park. One of the youths arrested that night stated on videotape that he heard Santana and another boy laughing about “how they ‘made a woman bleed.’”

But none of that matters. Again, the victim was a privileged white woman (BAD!) and the perpetrators were youths of color (GOOD!). So the media lied and claimed the DNA evidence “exonerated” them.

This allegation was based on Matias Reyes’ confession to the attack. His DNA matched the unidentified DNA on the jogger — proving nothing, other than that he was the one who “got away.” He is also the “Rudy” who stole her Walkman, as Wise said at the time. Reyes admitted he took it. How did Wise know that?

A cellmate of Reyes claims he said that he heard a woman screaming in the park that night and ran to join in the rape.

The “exoneration” comes down to Reyes’ unsubstantiated claim that he acted alone. Years of careful investigation, videotaped confessions, witness statements, assembling evidence, trial by jury and repeated appeals — all that is nothing compared to the word of an upstanding citizen like Reyes, a violent psychopath who sexually assaulted his own mother and raped and murdered a pregnant woman while her children heard the attack through the bedroom door.

That’s the sum total of the “exoneration”: the word of a psycho.

Noticeably, Reyes faced absolutely no penalty for his confession — the statute of limitations had run out years earlier. Before he confessed, Reyes had been moved to Korey Wise’s cellblock. He requested a transfer on the grounds that he feared retaliation from Wise’s gang. All he had to do was confess — with no penalty — and announce that he acted alone. The Social Justice Warriors would take it from there.

Not even a monster’s self-serving “confession” can explain away the five attackers’ other crimes that night — vicious beatings that left one parkgoer unconscious and another permanently injured.

The SJW’s verdict: Award the criminals $41 million. Trump’s idea: Punish them. And you still can’t figure out how he became president.

Today’s Ann Coulter Letter: “Putin Is Killing Millions Of Americans”

Commentary by Ann Coulter  |

I don’t know what Trump said during that two hours when he met privately with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but like so many in the media, I know what I hope he said: Mr. Putin, I need you to publicly admit your complicity in our illegal alien problem.Only if Putin owns up to deploying a vast network of Russian assets to personally direct the movements of millions of illegal aliens across the Sonoran Desert, through dozens of checkpoints and into our country, in fulfillment of his master plan to attack America’s financial viability, national security and future prospects, will the media, the Democratic Party and corporate Republicans ever emerge from their stupor and admit that we have a huge problem on our southern border.

Illegal immigrants have killed multiple times more Americans than Russia has in its entire history — or could ever hope to kill, even with a well-placed nuclear bomb. But nothing will be done, unless we can prove Putin is behind it.

Our media and government want you to fixate on Russia’s annexation of Crimea as the big problem facing our country, hoping you’ll forget about the gaping hole on our border.

I haven’t counted to see how many Americans died as a result of Putin’s reacquiring Crimea — yes, I have! ZERO. Meanwhile, Mexican drug couriers kill more Americans every week than the Communist Soviet Union did when it shot down Korean flight 007 for flying into its airspace, almost starting a nuclear war.

Obsessing over irrelevant, unsolvable problems in remote parts of the globe is how liberals prove they are intellectuals. North Korea, Syria, Russia — that’s what you’re supposed to care about. Not your own country. Only Walmart shoppers care about their own country.

It would be as if in 1939, as the Nazi threat was looming, British newspapers discussed nothing but the bushfires in Victoria, Australia. How many died? Do they need our help? What shall we do? Where does the prime minister stand?

With Russia, liberals get an extra bonus of bludgeoning Trump over his nonexistent collusion with Russia — our greatest enemy since very, very recently.

At least no Democratic president ever publicly embraced a Russian dictator, while handing him all of Eastern Europe at Yalta, so the left’s conscience is clear!

Actually, no. Until all the Roosevelt statues come down, liberals need to settle down about Russia. At least Trump isn’t calling Putin “Uncle Vlad” and giving him one-third of Europe, as he is being advised by two Russian spies.

While I’m sure Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea were a grave threat to every man, woman and child in America, Putin should also be held to account for the rape and murder of thousands of Americans on our own soil every year, as a result of apparently unstoppable illegal immigration. (Who knew a wall was such an inconceivable engineering feat?)

Where else to lay the blame for this monstrous attack but on Putin, the most evil man since Hitler?

True, liberals have spent decades lobbying for a never-ending flow of illegal aliens. But that shouldn’t be a problem. They also spent decades defending Russian dictators. Abandoning every position they’ve ever held to attack Trump is standard operating procedure these days.

In addition to Trump’s not challenging Putin to a fistfight in Helsinki, the media have gone bananas over the fact that he cited the findings of our intelligence agencies — but then added that Putin denied the charges.

HE’S BELIEVING PUTIN OVER OUR OWN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES? Moral equivalence! Treason! High crimes and misdemeanors! Kristallnacht! Trump might as well have trampled on a portrait of George Washington. (Or, since we’re talking about liberals, Stalin.)

But the way I remember it, elected Democrats — even Democratic candidates for president — have criticized our intelligence agencies pretty ferociously, particularly regarding the Iraq War.

The media turned that clown Joe Wilson into a national hero for ridiculing the findings of our intelligence agencies.

At the inception of the war, U.S. intelligence, British intelligence and the Senate Intelligence Committee concluded that Saddam Hussein had been seeking massive quantities of uranium from Niger.

But Joe Wilson was sent by his wife, a non-covert, paper-pushing CIA agent, on a trip to Niger, where he looked government officials directly in the eye and asked them: Did Saddam send envoys to this godforsaken country that has nothing to sell but uranium in order to buy uranium? Be honest! I have absolutely no way of knowing if you are lying, and powerful, nuclear-armed nations will be really mad at you if you say “yes.”

It was on the basis of this conversation that Wilson concluded, as he wrote in The New York Times: “I have little choice but to conclude that some of the intelligence related to Iraq’s nuclear weapons program was twisted to exaggerate the Iraqi threat.”

Far from condemning this unpatriotic lout for crapping on our intelligence agencies, the media made him a star! Only a fool like George W. Bush would believe our inept intelligence agencies over the word of a government official from Niger.

So doing an about-face on a previous, long-held position is no problem for liberals, provided it serves the larger purpose of getting Trump. I don’t know if liberals have noticed, but trying to work the public into a white-hot rage over Putin’s annexation of Crimea hasn’t been wildly successful. Apart from the fact that who owns Crimea is of absolutely no conceivable national security interest to the United States, Crimea has been a part of Russia since forever. (Technically, since 1783 — when they took it from the Muslims, bless them.)

Google “Potemkin village.” The story is that an aide to Russian Empress Catherine II, Grigory Potemkin, tried to impress her with her newest territorial possession by setting up fake villages along their route through it. Dateline: Crimea, 1787.

The left needs something a little more consequential to make us mad at Russia — and illegal immigration is just the ticket! The only thing liberals care about is Russia, but the only thing most Americans care about is their own country.

The solution is staring us right in the face. Convince Putin to admit that he is responsible for the millions of foreign invaders sneaking into our country, depressing wages on a good day, and raping little girls and committing sickening murders on the bad days. In exchange, we’ll give Putin Bill Browder and George Soros.

Watch: Students React To Trump’s SCOTUS Pick … Before He Actually Made One

While the rest of us are speculating about Trump’s SCOTUS pick, these snowflakes are offended by “the guy he picked”.If you’re wondering why we’ve long since stopped caring when the Leftists call us sexist-racist-homophobes blah-blah-blah… have a look at this clip. And remember. This was filmed BEFORE Trump made his second SCOTUS decision. That is to say, the pick which is expected to be announced tonight.

Enjoy the insanity:

Did you catch the ‘White Supremacist Legion of Doom’ comment? These folks are wearing their opinions loud and proud, facts be damned.

The setup was fantastic.

It was basically this formula: With Justice Kennedy stepping down… vacancy… how did you feel about his decision?

An informed voter wouldn’t have taken the bait. Or at most, they’d comment about the ‘short list’. Did they take the wait-and-see approach?

Of course not. They went straight to the outrage. Most, if not all invoked the word racist in there somewhere — without even knowing whether the pick was a man or a woman.

One guy said he was talking about the pick a ‘couple of days ago with his dad’ who didn’t like the pick either.

When asked about what qualities a judge should have, one young woman said ‘liberal’. When the interviewer pointed out that Obama had appointed two judges, she stood there open-mouthed.

Someone was talking about all the news sources that were upset about the disastrous pick he made, and someone else was going on about how Social media was in an uproar over it.

But CNN wants us to LOWER the voting age because these (as Rush calls them) ‘skulls full of mush’ are America’s future?

Behold ‘America’s Future’. That thought alone might be enough to make a praying man out of an Athiest.

If any single art piece could capture the wave that carried DJT to the White House, this is the one…

Drain the Swamp available through the ClashDaily Store.

“I love how Trump looks confident. He’s not weepy or angry. He’s winning and doing exactly what he promised, namely, Making America Great Again. I also really enjoyed painting Comey, Obama, Hillary, Pelosi, Debbie and Anderson Cooper getting sucked down the drain. This is one of the funniest paintings I have ever painted. I couldn’t be happier and I hope these prints adorn the walls of every Trump supporter. I’m so glad Brandon Vallorani commissioned me to paint this epic, hilarious, and patriotic masterpiece.” — Doug Giles

Where can you see this fine — and hilarious — portrait?

No, you don’t have to wait until this beauty is hung in the Smithsonian. You can get your own copy of Drain the Swamp right here.

Ann Coulter Letter for June 27, 2018: “Country Overboard! Women and Children Last!”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

I’m still ticked off at him for not building the wall, but THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, FOR POINTING OUT THAT MAXINE WATERS HAS A LOW I.Q.! And there’s more great news! Contrary to every single New York Times editorial and opinion piece on the president’s “Muslim ban,” this week, the Supreme Court upheld the ban.

Or, as a Times op-ed put it back on Jan. 27, 2017: “(T)he order is illegal. More than 50 years ago, Congress outlawed such discrimination against immigrants based on national origin. …” “Trump’s Immigration Ban Is Illegal,” by David J. Bier, immigration policy analyst at the Cato Institute.

For your immigration news, New York Times, maybe stop thinking you’re getting “both sides” by going to open borders activists at the International Refugee Assistance Project and, for the opposing view, open borders activists at the Cato Institute.

Last week, in a column that does not misstate the facts and the law about immigration, I covered some typical asylum and refugee admissions to our country, including Beatrice Munyenyezi. She was the Rwandan who got into our country by claiming to be a victim of the genocide that killed nearly a million people, even though she had helped orchestrate it.

Munyenyezi wasn’t the only participant in the Rwandan genocide who’s gotten in as a victim and then been unmasked as a perpetrator. So far, nearly 400 Rwandans granted special refugee status have been convicted of lying on visa applications about their role in the genocide. Great job, U.S. refugee admissions officials!

Courts are dealing with so many genocidal Rwandans who came to America as “refugees” that just last Friday, a federal appeals court upheld the conviction of another one, Gervais “Ken” Ngombwa, who not only lied about his participation in the genocide, but also about his family relationships. (You can’t get anything past our State Department!)

Aside from our immigration authorities missing little things like the Rwandan genocide, what is the argument for taking in millions of people from backward cultures, hotbeds of real racism, pederasty, misogyny — as opposed to the “microaggressions” that are the bane of our culture?

It’s one thing to use quotas as a response to slavery and Jim Crow in our own country, but why do we have to have an immigration quota for “people who don’t live here, have never seen an indoor toilet, and rape little girls for sport”?

Liberals act as if they are striking a blow for feminism by importing desperate women from misogynistic cultures to America. But, even to the extent they’re telling the truth, the women aren’t always victims only. They’re often co-conspirators.

Remember the Baby Hope case? In 1991, a little girl’s unidentified body was found in an Igloo cooler alongside the Henry Hudson Parkway. Twenty-two years later, the New York City police finally solved the case: The perpetrator turned out to be Baby Hope’s illegal alien cousin from Mexico, who had raped and killed her when she was 4 years old.

And how had he escaped justice for 22 years? The girl’s mother and aunt, also illegals, helped orchestrate the cover-up. The aunt helped dispose of the body and the girl’s mother never said a peep, despite admitting that she suspected all along that the corpse in the cooler was her unreported, missing daughter.

Hmong girls in Minnesota are regularly gang raped by Hmong men, but the Hmong community — even the girls’ mothers — blame the rape victims, and the attacks go unreported. These aren’t cultures of strong women and criminal men. It’s more like criminal men and complicit women.

(One of the major articles reporting on the Hmong rape culture, helping diversify America, was Pam Louwagie and Dan Browning’s “Shamed Into Silence,” published in the Minneapolis Star Tribune in 2005. It used to be here: startribune.com/local/11594631.html. The detailed story won first place for In Depth Reporting from the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists, but it seems to have disappeared from the Tribune’s website. Welcome to the Soviet Union!)

In San Francisco, we had the young Indian sex slaves of pederast Lakireddy Bali Reddy testifying on his behalf. Once he was finally busted — not by our fantastic “democracy dies in darkness” mainstream media, but by a local high school newspaper — we found out his child rape victims thought they deserved it. They could not be coaxed to testify against him. Some took the stand on his behalf. They were all given asylum. We didn’t change them; they just moved here, without altering their belief in human slavery or the caste system one iota.

Americans are told we have to understand that it’s part of their native cultures.

Exactly! It’s their culture. We’re not rescuing anybody; we’re bringing in diseased cultures. The alleged refugees don’t float above and apart from their societies. Feminists may see the world as the Boy team versus the Girl team, but in reality, it’s the Civilized team versus the Primitive team. Virtually every woman outside of the First World lives in an abusive society. We can’t take them all in.

How did violent, backward, misogynistic cultures become our problem? Did we take a vote and agree to be the world’s charity ward?

Democrats who claim to be defenders of the weak, the marginal and vulnerable are happy to toss our safe, functioning country aside — as long as they can wreck America (and get their housework done at the same time!). The left’s central political philosophy is based on resentment toward historical America.

They’re just like the feminists willing to forgive Bill Clinton for rape. Well, you know, taking in the totality of his contributions …Today, it’s: Who cares what kind of society we become — provided America is no more.

Primitive people will not stop trying to come here until America is no different from Calcutta. Then, liberals’ work will be done. And there will be no charity ward left for anyone to flee to.

That’s how much liberals care about women and children.

After Laura Bush Attacked Trump & Called His Border Policy ‘Immoral,’ Sarah Huckabee Embarrassed Her

Reported by

URL of the original posting site: http://www.americanjournalreview.com/laura-bush-attacked-trump/

On Monday the Trump administration fought against the harsh criticism from former first lady Laura Bush.

Laura Bush has bashed President Trump and his administration for his “zero tolerance” policy that has led to the separation of migrant families. Sarah Huckabee Sanders the White House press secretary and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen came together and blamed the past administrations and George W. Bush for initially making these immigration laws that have led to the current situation.

The law was actually signed in 2008. Trump and his administration were not the ones who created the crisis. He has inherited the problem and is the only President brave enough to fix it. Now the media is throwing out lies about the new “Border Policy” and Sarah Huckabee is not taking it lightly.

Reported by subjectpolitics:

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders took the podium today and shot down the mainstream media LIES that have been spread over the weekend about immigration enforcement.

Specifically, Sarah was asked about Laura Bush’s comments calling the Trump Admin. policy “Immoral.”

Sarah did not hold back. She stood up for Pres. Trump and exposed Laura Bush as the hypocrite she truly is. (Video Below) This :40 second clip is going viral as Sarah proved once again you better be prepared if you’re going to attack President Trump.

“Frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under (Laura Bush’s) husband’s leadership, not under this administration…”

“We’re not the ones responsible for creating this problem. We’ve inherited it,” she added. “But we’re actually the first administration stepping up and trying to fix it.”

If you missed it, Laura Bush wrote an op-ed over the weekend where she said, “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.”

President Trump is already being attacked by Michelle Obama all the time, now George W. Bush’s wife is trying to tear him down as well?

This just shows how much Pres. Trump is upsetting the establishment and doing what he promised to do.

Ann Coulter Letter: “Meanwhile, 10 Miles From The White House…”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

Now that Trump has solved Northeast Asia’s problems, maybe he can get to a problem in our country — in fact, within 10 miles of the White House. For some reason, The Washington Post recently ran an article on something important — the MS-13 gang presence at a public school on the outskirts of our nation’s capital, William Wirt Middle School in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The media’s usual approach to the diversity being inflicted on us is: Don’t report this! It’s better if no one knows. Maybe the left has decided it’s too late to do anything about the transformation of our country into a Third World hellhole, and Trump couldn’t stop it even if he wanted to.

The Post reported that, like many schools up and down the East Coast, MS-13 has turned Wirt into a battleground. There have been near-daily gang fights, rampant drug dealing, one reported rape, gang signs on the walls, one shooting — more in nearby schools — and teachers afraid to be alone with their students. At least two students are required to have security officers assigned to them, walking them from class to class and watching them during lunch hour, on account of MS-13 threatening to kill them.

How many different categories of immigrants require special law enforcement officers devoted to them? Thanks to mass Muslim immigration, the FBI has terrorist watch lists in ALL 50 STATES. That’s why whenever there’s a terrorist attack, the FBI says, Oh yeah, we were watching that guy. And now we have police bodyguards for kids at schools wherever “unaccompanied minors” have been dumped by our government.

In addition to the free school lunches, transportation, housing and health care to pay for all this wonderful diversity, immigrants are also massively ratcheting up law enforcement costs.

It would be enraging enough if bad things were happening to our country and the immigrants were paying for it. But we’re paying for it. Wait — you are offering to bring gang warfare, drug cartels and terrorism? We’ll go top dollar for that! Put your wallet away! Your money’s no good here!

Having made the odd decision to report factual information about immigration, The Washington Post was careful to include the gigantically irrelevant, painfully idiotic cliché: The “vast majority” of poor Latin Americans pouring into our country “enroll in school and stay out of trouble.”

Yes, and the vast majority of boa constrictors stay out of trouble too. Let’s put them in our schools! In fact, far fewer boa constrictors kill Americans each year than Latin American immigrants do. Less than one a year. And boa constrictors don’t undercut you at the construction site.

We never hear that “vast majority” argument about the policies that liberals like. The “vast majority” of gun owners never shoot up a school. The “vast majority” of smokers will never get lung cancer. The “vast majority” of Americans do not benefit from Wall Street profits.

Why are we subjecting ourselves to mass immigration at all?  Hey, everyone, let’s all get an HIV injection! Don’t worry, the vast majority of us won’t get AIDS!

We’re certainly not doing it to be nice to Hispanics. They’ve been polled and polled and polled, and it turns out they DON’T want more people being brought in to take their jobs and drive down wages. Recent immigrants probably don’t want their useless brother-in-law from Chiapas sleeping on the couch either.

In the 2012 presidential campaign, Obama’s Spanish language ads didn’t make a peep about immigration. Instead, he bragged about giving everyone free health care. (Sidebar: Unmentioned were the millions of people who lost their health care, thanks to all that free health care for immigrants.)

Less than two years ago, Republicans watched the most anti-immigrant politician in a century be elected president, with every major institution in America against him. Trump won more of the Hispanic vote than any Republican in a generation.

The Chamber of Commerce knows that Hispanics didn’t come here to have their wages driven down by an unending stream of unskilled workers just like themselves. Republicans and Democrats know it. The only people who don’t know it are Americans who don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by opposing the constant importation of unskilled, poverty-stricken immigrants.

The reason for this transformation of our country, our culture and our politics is to flood the market with low-wage workers and Democratic voters. Obviously, those are losing arguments, so the beneficiaries of mass Third World immigration lie. They claim that anyone who doesn’t want to supply the rich with cheap labor must hate Hispanics.

Trump thought North Korea was hard? With immigration, we have all of the most influential forces in our culture on the same page. Immigration is a great unifier of the rich and powerful.

The rich are like sharks — all appetite, no brain. With their cheap labor voting 7-3 for the Democrats, it won’t be long until Democrats have a lock on government. What do you think they’ll do then, Business Roundtable? Answer: Make it impossible to do business. Google “California.”

With the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable and the Koch brothers’ incessant lobbying for more and more cheap labor, we see exactly what Lenin said about the capitalists: They will sell us the rope with which to hang them.

The rich don’t care. They can’t think beyond next quarter’s earnings.

Trump Makes History But Will He Make Peace?

URL of the original posting site: https://steadfastandloyal.com/news-for-you/trump-makes-history-but-will-he-make-peace/

Never underestimate Donald Trump. The liberals and the media does and he makes them look like fools. Now, we shouldn’t expect any big announcements from the summit but it will be a success if they say that a second summit is planned because that means no one is asking for something the other can’t or won’t give.

But again, this is President Trump we are talking about. The two met and had a cordial handshake and a smile. The President was going to meet alone with Kim 45 minutes before the larger summit begins.  It is currently morning in Singapore and the summit is in full swing.

The funny thing is that Democrats are telling everyone the talks are doomed but the ones saying that are the ones who failed to stop the nuclear testing. This summit is driving them mad not because they think it will be a failure but because they are afraid of it being successful and lead to something substantial. Because, if that happens, Democrats have no chance in 2020.

From The New York Post

They began their historic summit with a handshake that few thought they’d ever see between the leaders of the longtime adversaries.

Then, hours later, they emerged to sign the document, which Trump called “very important” and “pretty comprehensive.”

“We’re very proud of what took place today. I think our whole relationship with North Korea and the Korean Peninsula is going to be a very much different situation than it has been in the past,” Trump said as he sat beside Kim, smiling and signing the papers.

“We both want to do something. We both are going to do something. And we have developed a very special bond. So people are going to be impressed. People will be very happy and we’re going to take care of a very big and very dangerous problem for the world. I want to thank Chairman Kim.”

The North Korean leader echoed Trump’s optimism and declared that “the world will see a major change” as he and the president “decided to leave the past behind” by holding the Singapore summit.

Hours earlier, Trump and Kim began the five-hour event by walking onto a red carpet decorated with American and North Korean flags and greeting each other like old friends. It was a far cry from the nearly 70 years of enmity between the nations — including an eruption of tensions earlier this year, when Trump and Kim exchanged insults in the wake of provocative missile tests by the North.

“I feel really great. We’ll have a great discussion,” the president told reporters after he and Kim entered a meeting room where they sat across from one another at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s lush resort island of Sentosa. “We will have a terrific relationship.”

The Weeks Ann Coulter Letter: Old Muhammad Had A Farm, Jihad, Jihad, Jihad…Oh!”

disclaimerCommentary by Ann Coulter  |

URL of the original posting site: http://humanevents.com/2018/05/10/old-muhammad-had-a-farm-jihad-jihad-jihad-oh/

Contrary to the lyin’ media’s lie that Trump is the liar, he isn’t. At least not all the time. But this week, he got off a true whopper. Trump’s claim that he was pulling out of the Iran deal in order “to protect America’s national security interests” is a big, fat lie.

Iran has killed lots of American troops in the Middle East but has done nothing to any Americans here on our own soil.

Obviously, I’m not saying anyone was asking for it, but here are some rules to live by: If you don’t want to be falsely accused of rape by a stripper, don’t invite strippers to your lacrosse party. As of Monday, if you don’t want to get beaten up, don’t date Eric Schneiderman. And if you don’t want American troops getting blown up in the Middle East, don’t send troops there when we have absolutely no national security reason for doing so.

There are a lot of crazy people in the Middle East.

America has zero defense interest in rearranging that part of the world, and we don’t have a particularly good track record of doing so, at least since Jimmy Carter withdrew our support from the Shah of Iran in 1979.

What actually is in America’s national security interest is preventing crazy foreigners from coming here.do you want these assylum seekers living next door to you

So it’s particularly dispiriting to have the president constantly demanding that we amnesty “Dreamers” and import ever more cheap foreign labor for farmers who are too lazy and selfish to mechanize. Easier to offload the cost of their human workers on you, taxpayer.

But the president has an idee fixe that we’re all going to starve if we don’t bring in guest workers for the farmers.

Guest workers are more of a threat to our national security than Iran is. Leave aside the tens of thousands of Americans killed every year by Mexican heroin, illegal alien drunk drivers and straight-up murderers, whom the government refuses to count. Even in the exceedingly narrow category of “Americans killed in Islamic terrorist attacks in our own country,” farmers’ guest workers have killed more people than Iranians have.

Howling about their need for illegal aliens to harvest “highly perishable crops” in 1986, farmers demanded a special amnesty for farm workers. As a result, we got the Agricultural Amnesty Act — and, with it, not one but two of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers.

The blast killed six Americans and injured more than a thousand. On the plus side, strawberries that day cost a nickel less than in 1985.

One farm worker was Mahmud Abouhalima, or “Mahmud the Red,” as he was known in the terrorist community. Basically your stock farm character, straight out of Norman Rockwell. He was among the 100,000 farm workers to apply for amnesty from the gently waving wheatfields of Midtown Manhattan.

A cabdriver, Mahmud had never been anywhere near a crop. His agronomic experience consisted of driving the getaway car for Rabbi Meir Kahane’s assassin. (The assailant initially got into the wrong taxi. Even terrorists can’t tell one Arab cab driver from the next.)

Say, how hard is it to lie about prior farm work compared to lying about how old you were when you snuck into the country illegally “through no fault of your own”?

Luckily for Mahmud, “farm workers” weren’t required to prove anything. In the blizzard of class action lawsuits brought on behalf of illegal aliens trying to get in on the 1986 amnesty, the courts concluded that illegals couldn’t possibly be expected to provide proof! How dare the government even ask? After all, they were just simple farm boys.

Instead, the government was required to prove applicants had not worked on a farm. Nearly 90 percent of the applications were approved.

Pop Quiz:

1) Will “Dreamers” be asked for any form of proof that they entered the country before age 16?

Answer: No.

2) Will “Dreamers” be asked for any form of proof that they were brought here “through no fault of their own”?

Answer: No.

The other 1993 World Trade Center bomber who was in this country because of the farm worker amnesty was Mohammed Salameh. He’d come to the U.S. on a tourist visa at age 19 in 1988. He was poor and had no skills, but someone at the U.S. consulate in Jordan “took a chance” on Mohammed. Despite arriving two years after the time to qualify had already expired, he applied for an agricultural amnesty.

Luckily for Mohammed, merely submitting an application for amnesty prevented the applicant from being deported. For three years, our government puzzled over whether someone who arrived in the U.S. in 1988 could have worked on an American farm prior to May 1, 1986.

After Mohammed was finally denied amnesty as a farm worker, he applied for a general amnesty, abruptly forgetting his life behind a plow and mule and claiming he had lived continuously in the United States from 1982 to 1986, despite — again — having arrived in 1988. The government was still working on that brain-teaser when he bombed the World Trade Center.

One more rule to live by: When you come from out of nowhere to beat 16 more experienced candidates as well as the most qualified woman ever to run for president by promising to keep us out of Middle Eastern wars and to put America first, what the voters are trying to tell you is that they want to stay out of the Middle East and put America first.please likeand share and leave a comment

Stormy Daniels Running For The Hills After Bill O’Reilly Comes Forward

disclaimerReported

Opinion| Bill O’Reilly has never been shy about voicing his opinions, and when it came down to discussing Stormy Daniels and her accusations against President Donald Trump, O’Reilly had a few things to say. He had some very specific suspicions about the porn star’s attack on the President.

We have all been speculating on the true intent of Daniels’ attack on Trump. We found out the truth this past Saturday evening when the porn star made an appearance on known liberal show, “Saturday Night Live.”

As I’m sure you noticed, SNL brought on a laundry list of celebrities who love to hate President Trump in order to bash the Trump administration. Comedian/actor Ben Stiller played the role of President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen. Far-left winger Alec Baldwin played the role of President Trump, himself. Baldwin was clearly mocking Trump during the entire skit. It wasn’t just the words that were coming out of his mouth that were in a mean-spirited nature. His entire face was caked with orange makeup and his hair looked like someone replaced his toupee with a dust bunny. Hell, even his facial expressions were mocking Trump. Then, for the finale, towards the end of the video, Stormy Daniels made her appearance.

She failed to save the skit, and in fact, Bill O’Reilly pointed out that Daniels revealed what she has been after all along.

From Billoreilly.com:

There is something wrong in this country when a person like Stormy Daniels can go on a national TV program and be applauded by a live audience.

What exactly are these people celebrating?

It doesn’t matter whether you approve of President Trump or not.  He’s currently in charge of the country and Ms. Daniels is making his job much harder.  And for what?  Could it be money?  She’s already been paid for her alleged tryst but apparently wants more cash and notoriety.  Again, why is that worthy of applause?

Americans knew about Donald Trump’s social resume when the election was held.  What we didn’t know was the intensity of the media hatred toward the man.  That loathing has emboldened people to attack the President on every level.  Is this also something to be applauded?  Is this a good thing for America?

O’Reilly is totally right. We all knew about Donald Trump’s history when we elected him. The possibility that he had relations with a porn star ten years ago doesn’t change the way Americans view him.

Trump Predicted NY’s Attorney General’s Sexual Downfall In 2013 – And He Was Spot On

Published by ClashDaily.com | on May 8, 2018

If Trump has proven one thing time and again, it is his uncanny ability to outlast his enemies and rivals. Over a lifetime, a man such as him has crossed swords with any number of people. Among them was New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Schneiderman took Trump to court, wanting to settle, but Trump fought it.

How did our President Characterize the AG? As a ‘lightweight’. Schneiderman’s past drug use came up, and The Donald said it ‘wouldn’t have surprised him’ if he still did drugs.

That interview (from 2014) here:

Trump’s fans point out that he comes off looking a little like Nostradamus by tweeting this in 2013.

Schneiderman just stepped down.

Why? Well, you know a leftist is in real trouble when the NYTimes is throwing you under the bus. In their words:

Until Monday evening New York’s Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was a public champion of the #MeToo movement. Now he appears to be the latest sickening example of the scale and insidiousness of the cruelty that movement is confronting. He resigned late Monday after The New Yorker magazine published an article in which four women accused him of abusing them physically and emotionally.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo should appoint a responsible, independent prosecutor to investigate any possible criminal charges against Mr. Schneiderman and abuses of his office.

Source: NewYork Times

What’s that? Another liberal whose virtue signaling was used as a screen to cover deprived moral character?

The article continues:

Two women who had been in relationships with Mr. Schneiderman — Michelle Manning Barish, a liberal activist, and Tanya Selvaratnam, an author — told the magazine that he choked and hit them, often during sex, and subjected them to verbal abuse. They said he slapped them so hard that Ms. Manning Barish bled from her ear long after the blow, while Ms. Selvaratnam suffered from episodes of vertigo.

Both said Mr. Schneiderman threatened to kill them, while Ms. Selvaratnam said the state attorney also warned her he could have her followed and her phone tapped.

The women told The New Yorker that Mr. Schneiderman drank heavily, and would often force them to drink alcohol. Ms. Selvaratnam told the magazine Mr. Schneiderman called her his “brown slave,” and forced her to say that she was, “his property.”

Source NYT

If some high-profile person with an (R) after his name did the same thing, do you really think the so-called Social-Justice warriors would let him quietly resign? Or would they set out to destroy him on a personal and professional level?

On Twitter, way back in 2013, Trump was beating him like a rented mule.

As it turns out, Trump’s instincts were pretty good. Trump is president, and Schneiderman has resigned in disgrace.

Trump has a knack for outliving his pallbearers. (So much winning.)

Trump Dumps Iran Nuke Deal: “The United States Does Not Make Empty Threats”

Q: How is Trump different from other Politicians? A: He keeps his promises. Here is yet another example.

Trump hated the Iran Deal.

Why? Because it was all around, a bad deal.

Bad for us.
Bad for the region.
Bad for the world.

Just plain bad.

Can we all at least agree that a nuclear arms race would be ‘a bad thing’ in the Middle East? Because that’s where the deal as it existed would eventually lead us. Even if Iran could be trusted to comply with every detail of the Obama-era deal, nothing would prevent them from being nearly nuclear-ready on the other end of that 10-year window.

They already have missiles that are capable of being outfitted with and delivering a nuclear payload. For that ‘world’s largest state sponsor of Terror’ that’s not a good development. All of their neighbors would be highly — HIGHLY — motivated to join a nuclear arms race. And who could blame them?

But maybe Kerry and Obama didn’t ‘care too much about that non-proliferation treaty.

A huge opportunity was missed in giving up the enormous leverage America held over Iran during the sanctions. Handing them billions took that pressure off. A much more favorable deal — including better enforcement, and Iran giving up its proxy wars in Yemen and Syria, and funding of terror groups could have been part of the negotiations.

Some other things the treaty didn’t do?

It didn’t allow adequate inspections — including Iran’s military sites.

It didn’t require Iran to stop funding terror activities by any of its proxies.

It didn’t stop them from building intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Bolton explained that the sanctions, as they existed before the deal, will be signed back into place.

Not surprisingly, Bibi praised this development.

What does this mean for the other signers? The other member countries — including Iran, France and some others, will remain in the deal. Iran will try to negotiate with remaining members and is claiming it will enrich uranium ‘more than before’ in ‘coming weeks’ if that fails. That flies in the face of their claims that they never ever wanted to develop nukes in the first place.

Very interesting theory on Trump’s Success

The mayor of Livermore California explains Trump’s popularity and success.  This is perhaps the best explanation for Trump’s popularity.

Marshall Kamena is a registered Democrat and was elected Mayor of Livermore, CA.  He ran on the Democrat ticket as he knew a Bay Area city would never vote for a Republican.  He is as conservative as they come.  He wrote the following:

Trump’s ‘lack of decorum, dignity, and statesmanship’
By Marshall Kamena
Mayor of Livermore, CA.

My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum.  They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.”

Here’s my answer: We Right-thinking people have tried dignity.  There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency.

We tried statesmanship.

Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain?

We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney?

And the results were always the same.  This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.

I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about Barack Obama’s lying about what went down on the streets of Ferguson in order to ramp up racial hatreds because racial hatreds serve the Democratic Party.

I don’t see anything “dignified” in lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks.

I don’t see anything “statesman-like” in weaponizing the IRS to be used to destroy your political opponents and any dissent.

Yes, Obama was “articulate” and “polished” but in no way was he in the least bit “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper.”

The Left has been engaged in a war against America since the rise of the Children of the ‘60s.  To them, it has been an all-out war where nothing is held sacred and nothing is seen as beyond the pale.  It has been a war they’ve fought with violence, the threat of violence, demagoguery and lies from day one – the violent take-over of the universities – till today.

The problem is that, through these years, the Left has been the only side fighting this war.  While the Left has been taking a knife to anyone who stands in their way, the Right has continued to act with dignity, collegiality and propriety.

With Donald Trump, this all has come to an end.  Donald Trump is America’s first wartime president in the Culture War.

During wartime, things like “dignity” and “collegiality” simply aren’t the most essential qualities one looks for in their warriors.  Ulysses Grant was a drunk whose behavior in peacetime might well have seen him drummed out of the Army for conduct unbecoming.

Had Abraham Lincoln applied the peacetime rules of propriety and booted Grant, the Democrats might well still be holding their slaves today.

Lincoln rightly recognized that, “I cannot spare this man.  He fights.”

General George Patton was a vulgar-talking ———.  In peacetime, this might have seen him stripped of rank.  But, had Franklin Roosevelt applied the normal rules of decorum then, Hitler and the Socialists would barely be five decades into their thousand-year Reich.

Trump is fighting.  And what’s particularly delicious is that, like Patton standing over the battlefield as his tanks obliterated Rommel’s, he’s shouting, “You magnificent bastard, I read your book!”

That is just the icing on the cake, but it’s wonderful to see that not only is Trump fighting, he’s defeating the Left using their own tactics.  That book is Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals – a book so essential to the Liberals’ war against America that it is and was the playbook for the entire Obama administration and the subject of Hillary Clinton’s senior thesis.

It is a book of such pure evil, that, just as the rest of us would dedicate our book to those we most love or those to whom we are most indebted, Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer.

Trump’s tweets may seem rash and unconsidered but, in reality, he is doing exactly what Alinsky suggested his followers do.  First, instead of going after “the fake media” — and they are so fake that they have literally gotten every single significant story of the past 60 years not just wrong, but diametrically opposed to the truth, from the Tet Offensive to Benghazi, to what really happened on the streets of Ferguson, Missouri — Trump isolated CNN.  He made it personal.

Then, just as Alinsky suggests, he employs ridicule which Alinsky described as “the most powerful weapon of all.”  Most importantly, Trump’s tweets have put CNN in an untenable and unwinnable position.  They need to respond.

This leaves them with only two choices.  They can either “go high” (as Hillary would disingenuously declare of herself and the fake news would disingenuously report as the truth) and begin to honestly and accurately report the news or they can double-down on their usual tactics and hope to defeat Trump with twice their usual hysteria and demagoguery.  The problem for CNN (et al) with the former is that, if they were to start honestly reporting the news, that would be the end of the Democratic Party they serve.  It is nothing but the incessant use of fake news (read: propaganda) that keeps the Left alive.

Imagine, for example, if CNN had honestly and accurately reported then-candidate Barack Obama’s close ties to foreign terrorists (Rashid Khalidi), domestic terrorists (William Ayers & Bernardine Dohrn), the mafia (Tony Rezko) or the true evils of his spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright’s church.

Imagine if they had honestly and accurately conveyed the evils of the Obama administration’s weaponizing of the IRS to be used against their political opponents or his running of guns to the Mexican cartels or the truth about the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the Obama administration’s cover-up.

So, to my friends on the Left — and the #NeverTrumpers as well — do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”?  Of course I do.

These aren’t those times.  This is war.  And it’s a war that the Left has been fighting without opposition for the past 50 years.

So, say anything you want about this president – I get it – he can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times.  I don’t care.  I can’t spare this man.  He fights for America!

This Week’s Ann Coulter Letter: “GOP Midterm Slogan: ‘We Need Guest Workers to Do Your Jobs’”

Commentary by Ann Coulter

At a rally in Michigan last weekend, President Trump promised to bring in lots of guest workers to — I quote — “do your jobs.”

Once, long ago, Trump was against replacing American workers with cheap foreign labor. Back when Trump was invincible, he sounded more like this:

Breitbart News: Hundreds of workers at Disney were forced to train their foreign replacements. … [Rubio’s new bill] has zero protections for American workers. … Rubio’s bill is even endorsed by the CEO of Disney. What do you think of Rubio’s bill?

Trump: “It’s a disaster. It would allow any company in America to replace any worker with cheaper foreign labor. It legalizes job theft. It gives companies the legal right to pass over Americans, displace Americans, or directly replace Americans for good-paying middle-class jobs. …

“I am calling TODAY on Disney to hire back every one of the workers they replaced, and I am calling on Rubio to immediately rescind his sponsorship of the I-Squared bill and apologize to every Floridian for endorsing it.”

To paraphrase Ray Donovan, where do I go to get my Trump back?

Now that he’s president and could actually implement all those great things he ran on, Trump sounds like Liddle Marco.

This was Trump on Saturday night: “We need people to be able to come into our country, do your jobs, help you on the farms. … Guest workers, we’re going to take care of that. Guest workers. Don’t we agree? We have to have them. We have to have them.”

It went on like this for an eternity.

Liberals love to sneer about the bovine idiocy of Trump supporters, who are allegedly incapable of processing basic information. (See Evan Osnos, every week in The New Yorker.) The dead silence that greeted Trump as he blathered about replacing Americans with guest workers proves that Trump voters are listening quite closely.

The president needs to understand, unless he drops his bizarre and totally uncharacteristic desire to bring in people to do your job, the voters might just bring in someone else to do his.

The plus side of the midterm elections is that liberals have gone mad. The minus side is that voters intensely hate Republicans. Liberal insanity is not going to save a GOP dead set on pleasing the donor class by screwing over ordinary Americans. As usual. It was hatred for Republicans that drove millions of voters to Trump in the first place.

The same conservative talking heads who think the GOP is going to be fine by focusing on those great tax cuts – we’ll get to immigration soon, promise! — spent the first six months of Trump’s candidacy indignantly informing us that he was “not a Republican.”

They said it was “unhealthy” for the party to be debating mass deportations. Trump “hasn’t really stood for Republican things.” The “summer of Trump” would come to a quick and deserved end. The danger, standard-GOP conservatives told us, was what Trump’s candidacy “can do to the GOP brand.”

I thought the 2016 election would finally be enough to convince everyone that the Republican “brand” is not worth saving. It’s like trying to buy the rights to the name “the U.S.S.R.”

Trump won by making the election about all the things Republicans would never talk about. Principally, this was immigration. (Duh.) Trump also had a refreshing new approach to dealing with ISIS: Don’t bring them here. This is what happens when you run around the world kicking over hornets’ nests. The cowardly GOP was too terrified of the media to ever run on any awesome issues. Only Trump did, and, for that reason, nothing could stop him.

But now he seems to think he can win the midterms by hewing to the loser wing of the Republican Party. We’ve got to save the GOP “brand”! What does Mark Short say? RUN ON TAX CUTS!

Yeah, that’ll do it.

There’s still time to hold the Democrats to a blue eddy this fall. All it takes is Trump keeping his promises on immigration and not starting a war. (Who could have guessed it would be so difficult for a president not to start a war?)

Every journey begins with a small step, and this one begins with Trump firing everyone in the White House. They’re the ones who have encouraged him to ignore his promises for so long.

Even the “3-D chess” lunatics don’t say, It’s great that Trump is screwing over his voters, like Republicans always do! What they say is: Through some innate sixth sense, a higher vision, a third eye, Trump has an immensely complicated plan that you can’t understand to make things come out exactly the opposite of the way they are currently headed.

Maybe. But if Trump doesn’t do something major on his central campaign promise — not repainting border fences and telling us it’s the wall — see you on Nov. 7.

Trump Tells Homeland Security To Block “Caravans” Of Migrants After First Wave Hits Border

Reported by Tim Brown

On Monday, President Donald Trump tweeted out that he has instructed the Department of Homeland Security to block caravans of migrants coming from Central America into the united states once the first wave of them hit the border.

It seems that first wave has now arrived.

He then added that his administration would be putting pressure on Mexico to stop some of this in the new NAFTA agreement he has been working on.

Despite the rhetoric given, at least 50 migrants made it to Tijuana, Mexico last week and have turned themselves in seeking asylum in the US.

Here’s some pictures of the arrivals via The Daily Mail.

As you can see, the vast majority of these migrants are men.  That’s not surprising as often the men go ahead of their families to settle things.

The group of 50 Central American migrants who set out from southern Mexico in late March arrived in Tijuana, Mexico on Wednesday, after splintering off from the original caravan of 1,500.

‘Since yesterday, some began to cross into the United States to turn themselves in from Tijuana and request asylum. We understand more of (the migrants) will do the same,’ said Jose Maria Garcia, director of Juventud 2000, an organization dedicated to assisting migrants.

He said more migrants, many of whom are stranded in Mexico’s central states, are expected to arrive in the coming days.

The splinter groups headed toward the US have been undeterred by President Donald Trump’s threat to deploy the National Guard along the border, after Trump called California’s contribution to the mission a ‘charade’.

Trump warned as the caravan of migrants were making their way across Mexico that it was a threat to ongoing NAFTA negotiations.

“The big Caravan of People from Honduras, now coming across Mexico and heading to our “Weak Laws” Border, had better be stopped before it gets there. Cash cow NAFTA is in play, as is foreign aid to Honduras and the countries that allow this to happen. Congress MUST ACT NOW!” Trump tweeted earlier in April.

According to Bloomberg, there will be an “intensified push” for a new NAFTA agreement in the coming weeks.

“Talks will pick up on Tuesday, after cabinet-level members vowed on Friday to keep up the momentum following consultations with their technical teams over the weekend. Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo said last week that after seven rounds of talks in as many months, rotating between the three countries, the three sides have entered a concentrated phase where “my negotiating team is practically living in Washington.”

Frankly, we don’t need another NAFTA just like we don’t need another TPP.

We’ll see if DHS can do that job properly that Trump is ordering them to do, or will they once again be babysitters like they were during the orchestrated invasion under Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah.
