What happens every time the Democrats investigate Trump? Nothing. So what do they do next? Investigate the investigation. This whistle-blower scandal is no different.

Now, Nancy Pelosi says AG Barr is protecting Donald Trump with a cover-up, because she is desperate to save face. As recently put it, Pelosi fell into Trump’s trap- hook, line and sinker.

Before Trump released the phone call, we predicted the utter failure of this whistle-blower.

Democrats have only one chance in 2020. They must impeach Trump in order to take over the White House. Thus, it’s no wonder they continually search for grounds to impeach.

Currently, Democrats base their fantasies on a phone call with the Ukraine. But tomorrow will come and bust their hopes and dreams yet again. Especially now that Donald Trump said he is releasing the transcript of said phone call.

We knew Nancy would take it hard.

In fact, GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz weighed in.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives has been functionally catfished into a politically fatal impeachment proceeding based on rumors, based on faulty evidence and based on a bloodlust for the president politically that does not serve our nation well.

Let me give you the high points. There is no quid-pro-quo between President Trump and President Zelensky for anything, much less military aid. There is no eight times of reference to Joe Biden. I think “The Wall Street Journal” will have a good deal of retracting today. And in fact, President Zelensky himself identifies the rooting out of corruption. President Zelensky said “we here in the Ukraine are trying to drain the swamp much like you are trying to drain the swamp in the United States of America.”

This isn’t a call about leverage. This isn’t a call about threats. This was a mutually appreciative and laudatory call between two leaders who are trying to clean up some of the garbage in their respective countries that has polluted politics. Now, the president does ask for a favor from President Zelensky but the favor is on behalf of our nation. The favor we seek is cooperation between his government and Attorney General Bill Barr as we work to determine what activities in the Ukraine may have been in any way involved in the 2016 — not 2020 — but in the 2016 efforts to interfere with the United States election.

My next prediction was that Democrats would again fail to impeach, and their efforts will backfire in 2020. But I left out one important step- the part where Democrats pretend there is more proof somewhere, if they only dig deeper.

Barr Fight

Now, Pelosi’s strategy is to paint AG William Barr as unhinged. That would certainly help with his counter investigation of the Russian investigation. Further, Pelosi could theoretically keep her impeachment inquiry alive another day.

According to Fox News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Friday that Attorney General William Barr has “gone rogue,” alleging there was an attempted “cover-up” of the whistle-blower complaint that has led to an impeachment inquiry of President Trump.
“He’s gone rogue,” Pelosi said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” after host Joe Scarborough asked if she was concerned that the country’s institutions could fail due to Barr’s behavior.
“I think where they are going is the cover-up of the cover-up, and that’s very really sad for them. To have a Justice Department go so rogue, they have been for a while, and now it just makes matters worse,” said Pelosi, faulting Barr for instructing the director of national intelligence to bring the whistle-blower complaint to the White House.

Grasping at Straws

There’s a serious lack of common sense brewing here. Barr and Maguire knew this whistle-blower complain was nonsense. Thus, they acted in the best interest of justice. Which kind of makes sense, considering it’s the Justice Department. But Pelosi needs a win, thus she’s grasping at straws for anything to “get” Donald Trump.

Fox continues:

Pelosi said acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire “broke the law” by not immediately turning over the whistle-blower complaint to Congress. She called Maguire a man of “great reputation” and said she “felt sorry for him” because he was placed in an “unprecedented situation.”
House Democrats are moving full speed ahead with the impeachment inquiry announced earlier this week, with reports indicating lawmakers could file articles of impeachment before year’s end.

Emergency aid bill challenges Pelosi’s grip on Democrats

Reported By Bradford Betz | Fox News

A $4.5 billion House bill aimed at providing more funding to migrant families detained at the U.S.-Mexico border is posing a challenge to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s grip on her party, as its liberal faction argue that the bill doesn’t go far enough while moderates worry that pushing for perfection will result in inaction at the border.

Calls for more funding at the border come amid reports that children detained entering the U.S. from Mexico are being held under harsh conditions. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar told Fox News on Monday that the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border is dire. Azar said HHS shelters are at capacity and the budget is not there to increase it unless Congress acts.

Customs and Border Protection Chief Operating Officer John Sanders told The Associated Press that Border Patrol stations are holding 15,000 people – more than three times their maximum capacity.

A $4.5 billion House bill aimed at alleviating circumstances like these is up for a vote Tuesday, but liberal Democrats are calling for provisions to strengthen protections for migrant children, and challenge the Trump administration’s border policies. Democrats met on Capitol Hill with Pelosi late Monday to try and reach a compromise. The meeting reportedly eased some Democratic complaints.

PELOSI TELLS NEW YORK CROWD ‘VIOLATION OF STATUS’ NOT A REASON TO DEPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Asked before the meeting about her concerns that Democrats’ push for perfection might result in inaction at the border, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., called it “a delicate situation.” Afterward, she appeared to have left the door open saying: “My main goal is to keep kids from dying,” before calling the humanitarian bill a “short-term” measure.”

But others weren’t swayed. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., said after the meeting: “We cannot continue to throw money at a dysfunctional system. We are not just asking for simple changes to be made into this bill, but to go back to the drawing board and really address this from a humanitarian issue.”

The White House accused lawmakers in a letter earlier Monday of trying to undermine its efforts at the border, arguing that the House package does provide enough money to toughen border security or funds for Trump’s proposed border wall.

Congress plans to leave Washington in a few days for a weeklong July 4 recess. While lawmakers don’t want to depart without acting on the legislation for fear of being accused of not responding to humanitarian problems at the border, it seems unlikely that Congress would have time to send a House-Senate compromise to Trump by week’s end.

Group of Border Patrol wives invite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to visit Texas border town

Reported By Lucia I. Suarez Sang | Fox News

“We would like to show you around! You don’t need to bring any security detail. Our husbands/boyfriends/fiancés/wives/significant others are actually very good at their jobs, thank goodness!” Jill Demanski wrote in the letter posted on Facebook.

Demanski added: “We’d also appreciate if you’d stop pretending that you care about federal workers. If you did, you would care for their safety, not just their paychecks. We can hold out a while longer if it means our husbands and communities are safer.”

Posted on Thursday – a day before President Trump announced a tentative deal to reopen the government at least until mid-February – the letter quickly went viral.

“I felt it’s really important to have our leaders come here and see what’s happening first. It’s important to meet with the people who are here on a daily basis, that are witnessing it – the effects of it, that it has on our country,” Demaski said on “Fox & Friends” on Monday. “We want them to come here and make an informed decision and to see what’s really going on.”

A 17-person bipartisan committee of House and Senate lawmakers is expected to negotiate border spending as part of the legislative process. It’s unclear if Democrats will budge in their opposition to funding a border wall, while Trump said Sunday he doubted he could accept any agreement struck by congressional negotiators that gives him less than his requested $5.7 billion for the construction of a barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Renea Perez, another Border Patrol wife, told “Fox & Friends” that, while the women feel safe in Rio Grande Valley, the men and women who patrol the southern border could still use some help in high-traffic areas.

“[A wall] will allow them to do their job more efficiently and give them more time – if they are by themselves – have another agent meet them. It is definitely needed,” Perez said. “We just want them to come down there on the line and actually see where the argument is all about.”

She added the partial shutdown was very hard for the families of Border Patrol agents, who hadn’t received a paycheck during the partial shutdown, and, at times, it felt like nobody cared about their community.

“It gets tough. The bills don’t stop. We were feeling like we were forgotten,” Perez said.

Demaski said if Pelosi sees the letter and agrees to visit, she hopes the California Democrat will do a ride-along with border agents to see the day-to-day experiences of those on the front lines of the border issue.

“Border patrol and our agents and experts here have been asking for [the wall] for years,” she said. “Now we have a president who has come here and seen first-hand the need and has had our backs.”

Hey Pelosi: ‘Suddenly’ You’re Not So Flippant About Security, Eh?

Written by Steve Bowers on January 17, 2019

Pelosi has no sense of humor. When other people take her words at face value, she doesn’t get the joke. Walls are an ‘immorality’ are they? California is a ‘Sanctuary’ State, is it? So security and private property are no big deal.

If you say so…

You heard about that publicity stunt when Loomer and a bunch of illegals jumped the fence at Pelosi’s place, didn’t you? HER security wasn’t as welcoming as the Democrats who live in their gated communities seem to be toward illegal aliens flooding into the country.

Steve Bowers grew up on a farm in Indiana, attended Indiana University and went into the construction business. While working on a construction project at a law school he was appalled at how lawyers could screw stuff up on a simple building project. Thinking he could do better, Steve went to law school. He’s pretty naïve.
