Brexit mastermind Nigel Farage talked about the success of populism in his home nation of Britain and abroad while giving a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.

“I take it you’re a pro-Brexit crowd!” Farage said to wild applause to start his speech, describing himself as CPAC’s “resident foreign speaker.”

Farage called deposed former Tory Prime Minister Theresa May the worst Prime Minister in the history of the United Kingdom to start his speech and talked about the formation of his new political entity.

“We ironically became the largest delegation in the European Parliament of any European country,” Farage said of his Brexit party, also crediting his party’s success with the resignation of May.

“Boris has become the leader, and Boris to date has picked up every word and every phrase that I have stood and fought for for nearly 30 years. It’s really great news, and it means at long last we have finally left the European Union!” Farage exclaimed.

He boasted about being the most “notorious” MEP in the history of European parliament, and he was happy to be finished in dealing with the European Union.

“I don’t just want the United Kingdom to leave the European Union. I want Europe to leave the European Union,” he said.

Farage credited former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn with helping to strengthen the Tory coalition united around the Brexit. He believes that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) can do the same thing to the Republican Party in the U.S.

“You should be backing Bernie Sanders. You should be campaigning for Bernie Sanders. You should be donating money to Bernie Sanders. You should be making sure that Bernie Sanders gets that nomination. You need a Democrat Party as far left-wing, as anti-American as they possibly can be,” he explained.

“Not only will you get four more years of this great President Trump, but I think with Bernie, you won’t just get Trump. With Bernie, I think you can re-take the House too!” he added.

Farage talked up President Trump, who he described as his “friend,” as leading the fight to end globalism.

“You are part of a big moment in history, and with four more years of Donald Trump, we will complete the job,” Farage said to conclude his speech, which ended the second day of the CPAC event. It will conclude after Saturday when Trump addresses the event.

Historic Presidency: Trump’s China Tariffs Protected the US from Major Coronavirus Impact on US Economy (Video)

President Trump knew that it was unreasonable and unsafe for the US economy to be so dependent on China.  He was ridiculed for his tariffs which now appear to have prevented a major economic catastrophe due to US companies moving their operations out of China over the past couple years.

Last night, Melissa Francis from FOX Business Network, was on Tucker Carlson Tonight and she shared this observation:

Because he [President Trump] started this trade war that was costing companies money, they went out and set up different ways that, well maybe we can get this from here, here’s our second, maybe we’ll do this if it [the trade war] doesn’t get solved, and companies have either moved or found a different way…
…But it’s ironic that President Trump sort of warned us about this relationship and as usual faced so much ridicule over it and now we see yet another reason why we shouldn’t be totally dependent on this one country for so many things.

Forbes reported in August 2019 that President Trump’s actions would likely move American companies out of China:

Assuming Trump makes good on his promise to tariff all China goods at 10% starting Sept 1, with the very real possibility of those tariffs hitting 25% soon after, then it looks like more companies will move their supply chain.
For a long time, China has been the world’s low cost, low regulation, manufacturer of choice. Even though multinationals would like to keep it that way, some 40% of U.S. companies are relocating at least some of their supply out of China, according to a May 2019 AmCham Shanghai survey.
“This shows the disruptive effect the trade war is having on supply chains. If new U.S. tariffs do take effect September 1, the increased tensions will likely accelerate the relocation trends we are seeing now,” says Kenneth Jarrett, a senior advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group, a Washington DC based strategic advisory firm.

CNBC reported in July 2019 that more than 50 companies had pulled out of China due to President Trump’s actions:

The pace of companies moving production out of China is accelerating as more than 50 multinationals from Apple to Nintendo to Dell are rushing to escape the punitive tariffs placed by the U.S., according to the Nikkei Asian review.

The trade war between the U.S. and China has dragged on for more than a year with 25% tariffs placed on $200 billion of Chinese goods. President Donald Trump is still threatening to slap duties on another $325 billion of goods. In wake of the intensifying battle, more and more companies announced plans or are considering shifting manufacturing from China.

President Trump again did the right thing in the face of media and Democrat ridicule that ends up saving the US and the US economy.

The Speaker of the House Nancy got so mad during an interview on CNN you could almost see the smoke come out of her ears.  When CNN’s Christiane Amanpour mentioned that President Trump was acquitted and his poll numbers were up, Pelosi interrupted and flew into a speech ripping rage. 

“What about, though, the fact that the president seems liberated, and this is about democratic politics so I’m not asking you to criticize here, but he was acquitted, his poll ratings are high …” Amanpour said.

“He was not … there was no …”Pelosi interrupted.

“You can’t have an acquittal unless you have a trial, and you can’t have a trial unless you have witnesses and documents. So he can say he’s acquitted, and the headlines can say ‘acquitted,’ but he’s impeached forever, branded with that, and not vindicated,” Pelosi continued.

“And even the senators were saying, ‘yes, it wasn’t right,’ but they didn’t have the courage to act upon that.”

President Trump is so in her head it’s not even funny, the look in Pelosi’s eyes when she said the President poll numbers are up and he’s been acquitted was hilarious.  Nancy can spout her nonsense about President Trump not being acquitted but even House manager Rep. Jerry Nadler recently admitted that they (Democrats) knew from the beginning President Trump would never be removed from office.  When Nadler was asked if he’s worried about backlash from voters as House Democrats continue to investigate President Trump post impeachment Nadler said that “we always knew” the President wouldn’t be removed from office.

“We always knew he was going to be acquitted by the Senate because we always knew that if the Republicans didn’t care about the evidence or anything else, they proved it by not being willing to see the witnesses, we knew that in advance,” Nadler said. “There were some people who said we shouldn’t impeach the president because of his given approval and expected acquittal by the Senate, no matter what the facts, that would help him politically.”

Before he left office, Barack Obama packed the NSC from 100 members to 236. Now, President Trump is draining the swamp and rolling back the expansion of the NSC. So far he has fired 70 of the Obama holdovers and still counting. last week, he fired Alexander Vindman and his twin brother, tossing them out on their ear. The liberals in congress are celebrating Vindman day in Washington.

President Trump also dumped Ambassador Gordon Sondland after his testimony before the Democratic Inquisition. I look for many more members of the swamp leaving and very soon, too. It’s hard to run a country when you are surrounded by traitors to the American people. Vindman made the absurd statement that President Trump was subverting American policy on the Ukraine. He should have been fired for extreme stupidity. The president can’t subvert foreign policy since the president sets foreign policy.

Chuck Schumer has called for the IG of the Intel Community to investigate Trump firing whistleblowers. The only problem with that is there are no whistleblowers including the one they call the whistleblower since President Trump is not a member of the Intel community and everyone who has been fired serves at the pleasure of the president and he can fire them any time he wants and he does not even need a reason.

The Trump administration has removed 70 Obama holdovers at the National Security Council (NSC), Washington Examiner columnist Paul Bedard reported on Monday.

President Trump and National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien have removed 70 Obama holdovers from the NSC, which previously boasted a staff of roughly 200 people, according to the Washington Examiner.

As Breitbart News reported:

First and foremost, Vindman admitted openly during his testimony before HPSCI last year under questioning from ranking GOP member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) that he leaked the contents of President Trump’s call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to two officials who were not in the White House. Vindman claimed during his testimony then that these two officials he leaked the call to were “cleared U.S. government officials with appropriate need to know.” While Vindman claimed under oath he did not know who the whistleblower was, Schiff intervened saying that answering Nunes’s questions identifying the individuals outside the White House to whom Vindman leaked the Trump-Zelensky call details may out the identity of the whistleblower who filed the original complaint.

The person who filed the complaint has been long been–and was at the time of this hearing–publicly reported to have been CIA official Eric HWSNBN. According to a follow-up report published this week by the outlet that first reported HWSNBN’s identity, RealClearPolitics, Vindman was the person who leaked the call details to HWSNBN.

President Trump Makes MAJOR Announcement on Border Wall, Shocking Democrats

From the very moment that Donald Trump stepped onto the political stage, the man has been singularly obsessed with reforming the American immigration system. From state to state, city to city, candidate Trump touted the need for a wall on the border between the United States and our southern neighbor, Mexico.  The wall would prevent ne’er-do-wells on the other side of that divider from easily accessing America; particularly the black market that exists here for drug dealers and human traffickers. These bad hombres would be forced to enter the US at legal ports of entry, making their illicit activities that much harder to travel with.

But it’s not as easy as simply pressing the “wall” button, and Donald Trump has learned this the hard way.  Democrats have opposed his wall from the get-go, forcing the President to execute some slick and complex maneuvers in order to get the all-important wall built.

President Donald Trump will transfer another $7.2 billion from Pentagon accounts in 2020 to build the promised border wall, according to the Washington Post.

The paper reported January 13 that the president would use his national emergency powers to:

“divert an additional $7.2 billion in Pentagon funding for border wall construction this year, five times what Congress authorized him to spend on the project in the 2020 budget, according to internal planning figures obtained by The Washington Post.

“The Pentagon funds would be extracted, for the second year in a row, from military construction projects and counternarcotic funding. According to the plans, the funding would give the government enough money to complete [a total of] approximately 885 miles of new fencing by spring 2022, far more than the 509 miles the administration has slated for the U.S. border with Mexico.”

And while this may sound like a major step in the right direction, there is no doubt that the move will be challenged by the Democrats, either in court, or through the legislature.

OUCH: Trump’s SHOCKING Approval Numbers

In case Speaker Nancy Pelosi missed her wake-up call, I suggest she heed the latest poll numbers.

Americans have responded. They don’t believe the nonsense of impeachment. According to CNS News, President Trump gained strength after impeachment.

On Thursday – the same day House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced Democrats will proceed with articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump – the president’s approval jumped to 52%, its highest level in more than two months.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 52% of likely U.S. voters approve of President Trump’s job performance, while 47% disapprove. This represents a three percentage point improvement from the previous day, when 49% approved and 50% disapproved.

At 52%, Trump’s approval is the highest daily number since September 24th of this year (53% approved, 45% disapproved).

Thursday’s 52% approval was driven by men voicing strong approval of Trump (59%-40%). More women disapproved (53%) of the president than approved (46%).

Men finally realize the war against men being waged by the Left. And it won’t be long before a percentage of currently Trump-disapproving women realize that a war against men is a war against their fathers, husbands and sons.

I love the next percentage, as the article continues.

Only 31% of black likely voters voiced approval of Trump on Thursday, as 67% disapproved. But, 61% of all other minority voters approved of Trump, while only 38% disapproved. Trump’s approval was also net positive among white voters (53%-46%).

Only 31% of black likely voters? Talk about Armageddon for Democrats. If only 15% of black voters support President Trump, game over.

Former NFL player and former Democrat Jack Brewer said recently that he predicts a minimum of 20 percent of the black vote for Trump.

I’m proud to report that The Black Sphere team plays a major part in waking up the black vote. We’ve been at this for over a decade. But our recent campaigns to educate black voters on key issues is paying off. And what of other “minority voters?” 61 percent approval. Again, startling numbers.

The writing is on the wall for Democrats. They can’t point to a single demographic where they haven’t lost potential voters.

President Trump Sets TRAP for Congress with War Powers Act

President Donald Trump now knows how Washington DC works. In his case, no matter what he accomplishes, Democrats see him through “impeachment” goggles.

So in the aftermath of sending a bomb up Gen. Qassem Soleimani’s toga, the president pulled a fast one.

As Yahoo reported,

The White House sent Congress on Saturday a formal notification under the War Powers Act of the drone strike ordered by President Donald Trump that killed Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani on Friday, two congressional officials said Saturday.

The notification, required by law within 48 hours of introducing American forces into armed conflict or a situation that could lead to war, has to be signed and then sent to Congress, according to the officials with knowledge of the plan.

Lawmakers expected the document to publicly lay out the White House’s legal justification for the strike on Soleimani, Iran’s top security commander, who officials have said has been behind hundreds of American deaths over the years. But the notification first sent to Congress late Saturday afternoon contained only classified information, according to a senior congressional aide, likely detailing the intelligence that led to the action. It is unclear whether the White House will send a separate, unclassified document.

First the president didn’t notify Congress of the strike. Then second he sends only classified information. What a bold and telling move.

The article continues,

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a statement Saturday evening that the notification “raises more questions than it answers,” including “serious and urgent questions about the timing, manner and justification of the administration’s decision to engage in hostilities against Iran.”

“The highly unusual decision to classify this document in its entirety compounds our many concerns, and suggests that the Congress and the American people are being left in the dark about our national security,” Pelosi said.

Needless to say, Americans aren’t being kept in the dark. We know exactly what happened. The military tracked Soleimani, per their job. When the opportunity arose, they sent him to his virgins.

Nobody, including Leftists can complain about the death of one of the world’s premier terrorists. Clearly, the American people need no explanation, at least for now.

But Democrats pretend Americans need to know. And that’s where Trump may be setting a trap. Because we know that Democrats love to (1) fake details of events, and (2) leak details of faked events.

Democrats want a crisis!

I suggest that Democrats want to figure out a way to politicize the warranted killing of a heinous terrorist. However, because of the White House classifying all the details, they can’t even discuss the matter. That doesn’t mean Democrats like Adam Schiff or Jerry Nadler can help themselves. These two congressional madmen would use anything to try to root Trump from the White House. Therefore, expect the Democrats to dust off their strategy of calling Trump a warmonger, unhinged in his need to “push the button”.

Again, while stating unequivocally that the world should shed no tears for Soleimani, many Democrats have called the strike against Soleimani, which threatens to escalate tensions between the U.S. and Iran and reverberate throughout a violent and volatile region, illegal and unauthorized. Even Biden cried, saying “Trump threw dynamite,” as if that’s a bad thing. Thus, Democrats strategize to limit President Trump’s ability to strike Iran in the future.

One thing is for sure. Democrats rejoice that the airstrike took impeachment out of the news cycle. Because Trump’s bombing of Soleimani proves that he has not a care in the world about what most Americans now see as “impeachment farce”.

Soleimani wasn’t the only terrorist killed in that bombing. Trump symbolically killed America’s biggest terrorist organization, the Democratic Party. Yet again, President Trump dares Democrats to challenge his authority. And the Democrats oblige, as they look for ways to limit his Constitutional duties. But the more they grasp at straws, the better things get for Trump.

As our national politicly divide turns ever more toxic, there are sure to be a great many who find themselves sheared off from the mainstream political gray.

These listless souls, who lament the nonsensical and whimsical angst of our legislative extremes are ripe for the picking, no doubt, and only those politicians with the broadest and most cogent pitches can woo them away.

Given the wild hairs tickling the backsides of the liberal left as of late, President Trump believes that he may very well be able to coerce a few of the more moderate liberals to join his conservative coalition…and he’s betting a fair chunk of resources on doing just that.

The Trump reelection campaign is betting that “disaffected Democrats” have had enough of radical progressivism, launching the “Democrats for Trump” coalition on Thursday.

“From the sham impeachment to the outright embrace of socialism, the Democrat party of today is unrecognizable and leaving moderate Democrats behind,” said President Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale, in a statement. “For Democrats who feel abandoned by the socialist radicalization of their party, there is room for you on Team Trump and we welcome you to join the movement and a President that are putting America first.”

Parscale also took to Twitter to release campaign internal polling showing the possibility of Democrats holding House seats in districts won by Trump in 2016.

Others within the organization summed it up quite succinctly:

“President Trump speaks for a generation of Democrats who feel abandoned by today’s partisan tactics,” said Tony Mace, Cibola County, New Mexico, sheriff, in a statement from the campaign. “Coastal elitists and left-wing radicals have seized the Democrat Party.”

The maneuver could very well have been bolstered by the recent defection of New Jersey Representative Jeff Van Drew, who on Thursday officially announced that he would now be a Republican as opposed to a Democrat.

TREASON ALERT: Whistleblower’s Attorney Admits Coup d’tat Was Started

Mark Zaid, who is one of the attorneys for the unrevealed whistleblower who is supposed to be the main man responsible for getting the impeachment inquiry started in the House of Representatives admitted that there is indeed a coup d’état in effect that is purposely looking to overthrow President Trump.

Back in 2017, he tweeted “coup has started” and that “impeachment will follow ultimately”. He also mentioned that the impeachment would occur in many steps.

According to Fox News,

The tweets, which came shortly after President Trump fired then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates for failing to defend federal laws in court, are likely to fuel Republican concerns that the anonymous whistleblower’s complaint is tainted with partisanship. Trump’s call with Ukraine’s leader, which is the subject of the complaint, occurred in July 2019.

“The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game,” the Trump campaign’s communications director, Tim Murtaugh, told Fox News. “It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

Trump has repeatedly accused Democrats and partisans in the intelligence community of effectively plotting a coup against him, through selective leaks and lengthy investigations.

This entire impeachment process is a complete circus act. The lengths they’ve gone to hide their secret meetings and not revealing who the whistleblower is, as well as not allowing the Republicans to question the whistleblower.

Honestly, it’s unbelievable that this has gone on as long as it has already. The transcript from the call was already released and there was nothing bad in the call, yet because this one whistleblower said that there was, they’ve started an official impeachment inquiry, which will ultimately lead to nowhere, and Pelosi knows it. That’s why she was trying to avoid it as much as she could.

Musician, Kanye West’s MAGA is making the News, yet again. This time a triggered reporter couldn’t handle Kanye’s choice to support the President during an interview. In true liberal fashion, the ridiculous interviewer turned the entire interview political but Kanye never budged.

During an interview with TMZ on Tuesday, host Harvey Levin begged Kanye West to take off his “Make America Great Again” hat to make him and others “feel better.” Kanye did not oblige, but instead sang the praises of the First Amendment and stressed that he will not be bullied.

“I would love it, Kanye, if you would not wear that hat. It would make me and a lot of other people feel better,” said Levin. “In fact, why don’t we say, ‘Please take off the hat, Kanye!’ How’s that?”

“It’s not good,” answered the artist, who recently told a Saturday Night Live audience that he was “bullied” for wearing his Trump “MAGA” hat.

Levin backed off, agreeing that Kanye has a “right” to wear the hat, though he doesn’t like what it “stands for.”

“Exactly! First Amendment, baby! First Amendment! First Amendment,” yelled Kanye, before arguing with Levin over what the hat stands for.

“Is it fair to say your hat doesn’t represent your support of Donald Trump?” he asked.

“I already told you what this hat represents to me,” he said, pointing at the “MAGA” atop his head. “This represents, y’all can’t bully me. … You can’t tell me what to do.”

Times Square Billboard Depicts President Hogtied on White House Lawn

President Trump is a Commander in Chief like no other, and that is true for a multitude of unique reasons.

Not only has he come from outside of Washington DC with the sole purpose to shake up what criminality and corruption lives within, but he has down so while under unprecedented attack both by the media and by the legislative branch.

Furthermore, Trump has found himself at the center of a focused and aggravating campaign to normalize depictions of violence against him, starting with Kathy Griffin’s gruesome beheading stunt, and culminating this week as his visage is hogtied several stories above New York City’s Times Square.

An athletic clothing brand has launched a controversial campaign that seems to take aim at President Trump; indeed, a billboard ad in Times Square has him hogtied in front of the White House.
On Wednesday, the brand, Dhvani, unveiled the first in a series of images meant to protest the Trump administration’s “gag rule” prohibiting doctors at Title X-funded clinics from referring patients for abortions — a rule that prompted Planned Parenthood to pull out of the federal grant program in August.
The billboard ad, called “Lady Liberty,” showed model Michal Mesa, whom Dhvani described in a press release as a Marine Corps veteran and a middle school teacher, standing over a screaming President Trump with her foot on his head. He is tied up, and a storm floats over the White House.

“We are proud to join Planned Parenthood in defending women from assaults on our reproductive rights,” said Dhvani’s chief communications officer, Chloe Mason. “Trump administration policies are threatening the health and bodily autonomy of women, especially women of color, low-income women and LGBTQ women.”

This normalization of violence against the President is both disheartening and dangerous, especially for a man who has already been the victim of at least one assassination attempt back in 2016.

Newest Section of Trump’s Border Wall Brings Total to Over 70 Miles

It’s rarely covered in the media, but the border wall between the U.S. and Mexico is currently under construction and there has been a lot wall built so far. In total, the Trump administration is planning on a total of over 500 miles of new border wall. With the latest construction underway, this will bring the total number to just over 70 miles of the completed wall.

KRGV in Texas reported,

It’s the second project of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley. This is the ground preparation for the construction of a new border wall.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS asked Border Patrol about the contractors, agents and equipment we’re seeing at this location. They referred us to an April memo announcing $145 million and a contract with SLSCO to build 13 miles of border wall in the Valley.

According to the construction website this next section is only to be 6 miles and the company’s contract calls for the construction and installation of “tactical infrastructure,” which includes building a reinforced concrete levee wall to the height of the existing levee; installing 18-foot-tall steel bollards on top of the concrete wall; removing vegetation within the 150-foot enforcement zone along the path of the new levee wall; building an all-weather patrol road next to the wall and the installation of “detection technology,” lighting and a video surveillance system.

There is actually a very reliable website to track the progress of the border wall being built. The person who created it is a Trump supporter who realized that there weren’t any accurate updates on the building of the wall so he created an interactive site for us to track the progress.

The website is Trump Wall Construction. According to this site, the total number of miles that have been built is 89 with over 500 more miles remaining to be constructed.

Today we will answer the question: May a president ask a foreign country to investigate corruption if it serves his “personal, political” interests? The “personal, political” angle is the last gasp of the impeachment hysterics. (I’m looking at you, Sens. Rob Portman (Ohio), Susan Collins (Maine), Mitt Romney (Utah) and Ben Sasse (Nebraska).)

Yes, Donald Trump is, technically, “president,” and, yes, former Vice President Joe Biden used his government position to withhold foreign aid until the president of Ukraine fired a prosecutor looking into a company paying Biden’s drug addict son millions of dollars for mysterious reasons. But, the impeachment fanatics assert, by asking a foreign leader to assist in an otherwise legitimate corruption investigation, Trump has committed a monstrous crime — because he was pursuing a “personal political interest.” To wit: Trump was trying to harm his political opponent, Joe Biden.

Apart from the blindingly obvious fact that you can’t commit crimes and then escape justice simply by running for president, Democrats take official government action for “personal, political” reasons all the time. Frequently, they do so for the sole purpose of harming their political opponents.

President Barack Obama’s IRS investigated and harassed conservative groups for years, using the most fearsome arm of the government to punish political enemies — for personal, political reasons. Then his Department of Justice refused to prosecute the corrupt officials, which, I believe, was again for — yes, it was personal, political reasons.

How about the Obama administration’s endless investigations of Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson? As was obvious from the outset, Officer Wilson had done absolutely nothing wrong when he fatally shot Mike Brown — something even Obama’s corrupt, subpoena-defying attorney general, Eric Holder, had to concede after reviewing all the evidence.

Those massive Department of Justice investigations were undertaken to gin up the Democratic base in order to help Hillary, who proceeded to honor Mike Brown’s mother on stage at the Democratic National Convention.

In the most perfect example of a president demanding investigations for no other purpose than serving a “personal, political” interest, in 1999, when Hillary was gearing up to run for the Senate from New York against Mayor Rudy Giuliani, President Bill Clinton (her husband) launched investigation after investigation into the crown jewel of the Giuliani administration, the NYPD.

In 1999, as the NYPD was virtually eliminating crime in New York City, there were a grand total of 11 fatal shootings by police officers. That’s 0.28 fatal shootings for every 1,000 officers.

In Washington, D.C., that year, there were four times as many fatal police shootings — 1.14 per 1,000 cops. In Houston, the number was 1.68. In San Diego, it was 4.36.

In the end, Giuliani withdrew from the race to treat his prostate cancer, but when President Clinton was demanding these investigations, Rudy was crushing Hillary both in the polls and in political contributions.

Speaking of whom, Hillary used her position as secretary of state to overthrow Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi, leading to the murder of a U.S. ambassador and several other Americans in Benghazi, as well as creating the refugee crisis currently engulfing Western Europe — all for her own personal, political reasons.

As was dramatically revealed in Hillary’s email exchanges with her unofficial adviser, Sidney Blumenthal, her motive for deposing Qaddafi was to display her foreign policy chops, apart from that lunkhead Obama, who was, as Blumenthal sneered, “intent on seizing defeat from the jaws of victory.”

Blumenthal egged on Hillary to keep the pressure on Qaddafi, promising her a major political win. When Qaddafi was ousted, Blumenthal exulted: “First, brava! You must go on camera. You must establish yourself in the historical record at this moment. … You are vindicated.”

Soon thereafter, Qaddafi was beaten to death in the desert by rebels who posted graphic video of the murder online. Cackling with delight at the initial reports, Hillary positioned herself alongside Julius Caesar: “We came. We saw. He died.”

Most obviously, the Obama administration’s entire illegal FBI surveillance of the Trump campaign was undertaken for personal, political purposes. We’ve been waiting for three years to hear some legitimate reason for the FBI’s surveillance of the Trump campaign. At this point, I think it’s fair to say, we’re not getting one.

The Obama administration spent millions of dollars and millions of man-hours on a purely political investigation to hurt Trump and help elect Hillary.

As long as you mention it, the House Democrats’ investigation of Trump’s phone call to the Ukrainian president has been undertaken for personal political reasons, too. So was Biden’s withholding of a $1 billion check from the president of Ukraine to protect his son’s sleazy business deal.

We can play the “personal, political motive” game all day long!

At least when Republicans do it, the Middle East doesn’t explode in jihadist fury, the crime rate doesn’t skyrocket, people don’t die or lose their livelihoods — and there’s real corruption being exposed.

Most of you are probably aware that the rules for whistleblower complaints were recently changed. This actually created an issue due to the timing when it was done. It was changed just before the whisteblower complaint was filed against President Trump for his call with Ukrainian President Zelensky which is VERY suspicious.

The Deep State Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson, released a news statement this week explaining why they thought it necessary to alter the rules on whistleblower complaints to include watercooler talk, rumors, hearsay and cafeteria conversations rather than just firsthand information.

Here is what Atkinson said about changing the rules,

“Although the form requests information about whether the Complainant possesses first-hand knowledge about the matter about which he or she is lodging the complaint, there is no such requirement set forth in the statute. In fact, by law the Complainant – or any individual in the Intelligence Community who wants to report information with respect to an urgent concern to the congressional intelligence committees – need not possess first-hand information in order to file a complaint or information with respect to an urgent concern. The ICIG cannot add conditions to the filing of an urgent concern that do not exist in law.”

Atkinson also said that the CIA “whistleblower’s” concerns appeared credible so they made everything urgent, even though the CIA has proven to be as compromised.

All of this tells us a number of things.

First, we now know that there is a spy in the White House. Secondly, that there is a purposeful attempt to gain damaging information on President Trump in the attempt at removing him from office. This is a coup d’etat attempt, it’s as clear as day and it needs to stop because this is treason.

This column will explain the impeachment farce in two minutes. By the end, you will thank the media for demanding the release of Trump’s phone calls with the presidents of Ukraine and Australia.

What the phone transcripts demonstrate is that — unlike the typical Republican — Trump is not a let-bygones-be-bygones sort. He intends to find out who turned the FBI into a Hillary super PAC, using the powers of the nation’s “premiere law enforcement agency” (according to them) to take out a presidential candidate, and then a president.

The whole picture becomes clear when you have the timeline.

Instead of the FBI just admitting that it launched the Russia probe to help elect Hillary, the agency has given us a scrolling series of excuses for this partisan attack. The FBI’s first claim was that it was merely investigating the hack of the Democratic National Committee’s email servers. As part of that effort, it was, naturally, obligated to spy on the Trump campaign.

Then we found out that the John le Carre theory of Hillary’s defeat was based exclusively on the word of a single cybersecurity firm. Yes, the FBI was SO frantic about the DNC’s servers … that it didn’t bother examining them itself. I repeat: The FBI never touched the DNC’s servers.

And who did? CrowdStrike. Who was CrowdStrike? A Ukrainian-backed cybersecurity firm.

That’s why Trump asked the Ukrainian president about CrowdStrike –- the company behind the first of the FBI’s many excuses for spying on Trump.

On Jan. 10, 2017 — before Trump was even inaugurated — FBI Director James Comey breathed new life into the Russian collusion story by leaking news about the infamous Russian “dossier.”

Hurray! The media were ecstatic. For the next 10 months, we got breathless reports about how this very important, totally credible, deeply concerning dossier might force Trump out of the White House! <

E.g.:

— “I remember pretty distinctly that you supported President Trump’s criticism of this dossier … Do you want to dial back that criticism now?” — CNN’s Kate Bolduan to former Rep. Pete Hoekstra, April 19, 2017
— “If the dossier is now about to be publicly defended and explained and backed up, I mean, that’s conceivably the whole ball game.” — MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Aug. 23, 2017

This rather important datum was coughed up not by the media, but only in response to a court order. Good work, “watchdog media”! Nothing gets past you guys.

Suddenly the dossier wasn’t important at all. Where did Republicans get that idea?

At this point, the FBI had to scramble to come up with an all-new explanation for why the bureau had put more than 100 agents — according to NBC News’ Ken Dilanian –- on an investigation of a presidential candidate. (Luckily, the bureau had lots of time, having already vanquished international terrorism.)

Within a matter of days, on Oct. 30, the media was bristling with the news that the real reason the FBI put G-Men on the Trump campaign was: George Papadopoulos.

(Don’t stop reading! The sun is about come out and all will be clear.)

Up until Oct. 24, the media had barely mentioned the young campaign aide. But starting on Oct. 30, Papadopoulos became the lynchpin of the whole Trump-Russia conspiracy. It was a heavy lift. Papadopoulos had only met Trump once and, as The New York Times admitted, was “so green that he listed Model United Nations in his qualifications.”

A few months later, in December 2017, the Russian collusion fairy tale took a hit when texts from Peter Strzok and Lisa Page showed FBI operatives at the heart of the so-called “investigation” vowing to use federal law enforcement resources to “stop” Trump.

The FBI began frantically pumping up the Papadopoulos angle, telling the Times that it was their gob-smacking discovery in the summer of 2016 that Papadopoulos may have had “inside information” about Russia “hacking” the DNC’s email that was a “driving factor” in the bureau’s opening of the Russia-Trump investigation.

So THAT’S why the nation’s No. 1 law enforcement agency had 100 agents investigating the Trump campaign! It sure took them a long time to come up with a reason.

Pending results from Trump’s phone call with the Australian president, Papadopoulos remains the FBI’s current excuse for an “investigation” that wasted four years, millions of dollars and, in the end, turned up nada.

The story was, in the summer of 2016, Australian high commissioner to the United Kingdom Alexander Downer contacted the FBI claiming that Papadopoulos had admitted to him during a night of drinking that he knew the Russians had Hillary’s emails. Two months later, Wikileaks began posting the DNC’s emails!

HOW ELSE CAN YOU EXPLAIN THAT, UNLESS TRUMP WAS COLLUDING WITH RUSSIA?

I can explain it.

When Papadopoulos was blabbing to the Australian about the Russians having Hillary’s emails, everyone was talking about the Russians having Hillary’s emails — CNN, The Guardian, even ABC’s “The View.” (See Resistance Is Futile!: How the Trump-Hating Left Lost Its Collective Mind.) Papadopoulos’ “source” probably read it in The New York Times.

Perhaps Downer is always completely oblivious to international news. Perhaps he spends too much time drinking with 28-year-olds.

Trump’s phone call with the president of Australia, released this week, suggests that we just might get to the bottom of the big Alexander Downer tipoff — the FBI’s latest cover story.

Now you know why all of official Washington, D.C., is screaming: IMPEACH! They don’t want you to find out that America’s “premiere law enforcement agency” tried to throw a presidential election and destroy a presidency.

The transcript of President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky is yet another illustration of the rule: Never ask a question you don’t know the answer to.

But on the basis of one drama queen’s overreaction to a rumor she’d heard about what was said on a phone call she didn’t hear (I’m assuming the whistleblower is Christine Blasey Ford), the Democrats have launched impeachment proceedings against the president.

I guess they figured it’s easier than flying to South Dakota with picks and chisels and carving Trump into Mount Rushmore. But it will have the same effect.

Now that the transcript has been released, it’s The New York Times that doesn’t want anyone to see it.

The transcript I’d like to see is the one of Nancy Pelosi reading the Trump transcript.

The absolute worst version for Trump — i.e. the one being repeated non-stop on MSNBC — is that he did exactly what Obama and Biden were doing to Ukraine: intimidating an ally into giving us something in exchange for the foreign aid we were giving them.

Biden himself bragged about getting Ukraine’s prosecutor fired by threatening to withhold a big fat check from them.

The Democrats’ argument is: No, no, no! When WE were pressuring Ukraine, we were doing it for good! Don’t you understand? We’re good; they’re bad.

The other reason the media are going to have to bury this transcript is that Trump brought up a few items that the media have been hoping the public would never find out about.

Trump said: “There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the attorney general would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution, so if you can look into it … It sounds horrible to me.”

Well, that’s something the media haven’t mentioned before. Ninety-nine percent of Americans will be hearing about the funny business with Biden’s son, Hunter, for the first time with the release of this transcript.

Why did Vice President Biden order the Ukrainian president to fire the prosecutor investigating the Ukrainian company paying his son millions of dollars? Are Democrats claiming that this company was clean as a whistle and it was an absolute OUTRAGE that it was being investigated?

The second issue the media does not want anyone to think about is CrowdStrike.

What is CrowdStrike, you ask? That is the cybersecurity firm that is the sole source of the claim that the Russians hacked the DNC’s emails — which launched the conspiracy theories that tied our country in knots for the past three years.

The Russian collusion story was originally hatched by Hillary Clinton in the summer of 2016 to cover up the utter corruption revealed by the dump of Democratic National Committee emails on Wikileaks. As was her practice whenever a scandal threatened to engulf her, Hillary rushed out and told the press to investigate something else.

And “the great story” about the DNC email hack wasn’t about a “vast right-wing conspiracy” — as she claimed when the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke. No, this time, it was a vast Russian conspiracy!

At the time, the entire media laughed at Hillary’s Russian conspiracy nonsense — The New York Times, New York Newsday, the Los Angeles Times and so on. But then Trump won the election, and suddenly the Russia conspiracy seemed totally believable. What else could explain how Americans could put this boob in the White House?

The subsequent three years of breathless Russia coverage was based entirely on the word of one cybersecurity firm, CrowdStrike, that the DNC’s emails had been hacked by Russia.

Recall that the DNC wouldn’t allow the FBI or any other U.S. government official anywhere near its computers. That’s precisely why so many cybersecurity experts doubted that it was the Russians: The FBI was never allowed to perform its own investigation.

CrowdStrike was founded by Ukrainian Dmitri Alperovitch (now an American citizen apparently — because who isn’t?) and funded by the fanatically anti-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk Foundation.

Talk about interfering with our democracy! Alperovitch and Pinchuk sent one political party and nine-tenths of the American media off on a wild goose chase into Russian collusion that, after years of accusations, investigations and embarrassing conspiracy-mongering … turned up goose eggs.

The entire Russian insanity was launched by a couple of Ukrainians. I think a lot of us would like to get to the bottom of that.

This is why Trump said to President Zelensky: “I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say CrowdStrike … I guess you have one of your wealthy people … The server, they say Ukraine has it.”

(How’d you like to be the Ukrainian translator for a Trump conversation?)

Trump has been justly criticized for hiring his daughter and son-in-law at the White House. But at least when he pressures a foreign leader for a favor, it’s to investigate corruption, not to get a prosecutor off his son’s back. Maybe Biden’s son was guilty, maybe he was innocent. But it is a fact that Joe Biden held up foreign aid to a desperately needy ally in exchange for their halting prosecution that implicated his son. It’s not Trump’s fault that Biden is now running for president.

I’ll give the Democrats this: They’ve gotten so good at trying to remove Trump from office that, instead of three years, their insane accusations blow up in their faces within a week.

[WATCH] Pastor At Black Church In Alabama Calls All Trump Supporters Racist and Mentally Ill

A church deep in Alabama has put up a controversial message on its sign calling Trump supporters either racist or mentally ill. The pastor of the church is the one behind the message.

According to The Hill,

The controversial sign put on display outside the New Era Baptist Church reads on one side, “A black vote for Trump is mental illness.” The other side of the sign displays another message: “A white vote for Trump is pure racism.”

Michael Jordan, the pastor of the local church, told WZDX that he put the sign up hoping it would encourage people to choose a name other than Trump on their ballots next year. 

Daxton Kirk, a local Trump supporter, told the station that people “should not be able to come into a building and feel like you are hated or diversified just because you came here to worship the Lord.”

Kirk told the local station that he has reached out to the town’s City Hall to see if local officials can take action on the sign. 

 

The pastor even defends his hateful and racist message saying, “God motivates me to take a stand for what’s right. Read the Bible and look in the White House. If they call me a racist, look in the White House. When you vote for Donald Trump, you are supporting institutionalized racism.”

This pastor needs to take some time to read the Bible for himself and see what Jesus said about judging. I’m not arguing that the Bible says not to judge anyone because it does numerous times. But God tells us not to judge hypocritically and to not judge by appearance but make right judgment.

When this pastor automatically calls every Trump supporter a racist, he’s violating the Lord’s prescription for judging. I’ve NEVER been able to get a solid reply from anyone who says that Trump is a racist. The most recent thing they try to claim is telling the “Squad” to go back to their countries and fix them. Which, in the full context wasn’t racist at all.

You know those press ‘sprays’ Trump keeps doing on the WH lawn? Rush Limbaugh says its an example of Trump winning … yet again!

Ask yourself a question — how long has it been since you saw one of those annoying Jim Acosta exercises in grandstanding?

They were almost a daily event at one point there, right? But they’ve pretty much dried up.

In fact, most of us have all but forgotten about that sad little glory hound, haven’t we?

How is that even possible when the President is talking to the press almost every single day, sometimes for 90 minutes at a shot?

El Rushbo has it pretty much figured out:

But you know one of the things I noticed? You know, there’s no White House press briefing anymore. They don’t do ’em. They don’t get together in the pressroom at 1 o’clock every day with the media asking questions. Guess what we don’t see now? We never see the media on TV. We never see them. Trump has totally taken away their star turns.

He comes out of the White House on the way to the helicopter, he takes questions on the way, but the camera is always on him. We never see the Drive-Bys. All we do is hear them. And I’m telling you, they sound like a bunch of spoiled-rotten, impolite kids, all of them shouting their inane questions at the same time. But you never see their faces. Trump has taken away their face time in context of White House press briefings.

Now, throw this picture up, Brian. We put a picture here in the switcher. For those of you watching on the Dittocam, this is what I’m talking about.

This is what it looks like now. Trump leaves the White House on the way to the jet. That’s the Drive-By Media, the press gaggle, shouting their questions. You’ll hear it in a minute. “Mr. President! Mr. President!” They’re shouting like a bunch of little spoiled rotten kids. But none of them are on TV anymore. He has taken that away from. This is a still-shot photo. This is not a video still shot. The only shot that was made available on TV today of this press availability was straight on the president from behind that gaggle of Drive-Bys.

We’ll post this at RushLimbaugh.com shortly so you’ll be able to see it there. Not all of you are watching on the Dittocam. But this is not happenstance. It’s not accidental. This has been done purposely, you know, they had these people like Jim Acosta and April Ryan and the rest of these egomaniacs showing off in the pressroom simply trying to make names for themselves.

Who could ask the rudest question? Who could express the greatest amount of disgust for Sarah Sanders and Trump? So they simply took it away from ’em, and this is what the press gets now. And they are not on TV. And, believe me, particularly for the television Drive-Bys, being on TV is everything. Face time is everything, and the Trumpster is artfully denying them that which they love.

Black Civil Rights Leader Endorses Trump

The bad news keeps piling up for Democrats. Particularly given their cries of “Trump is a racist!”.

If President Trump is a racist, then somebody better tell black people. Because from my vantage point, Trump is the orange version of Rev Martin Luther King, Jr.

This white man has gone stone crazy helping black people. From getting black criminals out of China and releasing others domestically, Trump can add to his list of “Things I did today for blacks”, record low unemployment.

Despite media reports, blacks at street level recognize Trump’s accomplishments. Further, many begin to realize how much the Democrats, media, and other Leftists have gamed blacks for decades.

One such notable is Former Fayette [Mississippi] Mayor Charles Evers. He’s the 96 year old brother of slain civil rights icon Medgar Evars.

He is quoted as saying that he felt Trump “was getting a bad rap” from fellow civil rights leaders and that his economic policies “were creating jobs for people of all colors.”

“I love Donald,” he said without hesitation.

“When Trump came to Jackson [Mississippi] in 2016, he came to my office,” recalled Evers, brother of slain Mississippi civil rights leader Medgar Evers and himself the first black politician to seek elective office in the Magnolia State since Reconstruction.

Evers told us he especially liked Trump’s “plain way of speaking and I liked what he had to say.  He’s a businessman, not a politician, and we agreed that if you create jobs, you are helping people of all colors.”

Asked if he ever felt Trump was a racist, Evers shot back: “No more than anybody else.  We’ve all got a little bit of racism in us.”

As they say in the beer commercials: “It doesn’t get any better than this.”

So what about all these charges of racism against “The Squad”, and Trump’s attack on Baltimore?

Evers declared,

“There’s no racial thing here. He’s telling them to go back to their districts and fix things there.  Then come back and show us how, instead of criticizing.”

Evers’ comments are in stark contrast to the media narrative. And I’ve said on my radio show for some time that Democrats again grossly miscalculate the “Trump is racist” angle against Trump. It has already backfired, and the results will show in the 2020 election when Trump trounces whatever idiot the Democrats finally settle on.

Moreover, down ticket will feel the impact, as I’ve further predicted Pelosi will lose the Speaker’s gavel to a Republican.

Evers echoes the sentiments of many blacks. And in case you’re missing it, more and more blacks are becoming vocal in support of President Trump.

It’s Official: Trump Winning the Trade War

The media missed the latest news on China. And it’s not good, at least as far as Leftists in America are concerned.

America is winning!

As AP reports,

China’s factory activity contracted in July for a third month amid a tariff war with Washington and weak domestic demand. A monthly index released Wednesday by an industry group, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, stood at 49.7 on a 100-point scale. That was up 0.3 points from the previous month but still below the 50-point mark that shows activity contracting.
The data indicate China’s economic downturn was slowing, said a logistics federation statement. But it said the economy still faced “downward pressure.”
Chinese exporters have been hurt by President Donald Trump’s tariff hikes in a dispute over Beijing’s technology policies and trade surplus. Consumer demand also has weakened, hurt by uncertainty about China’s economic outlook. China’s economic growth fell to 6.2% over a year ago in the quarter ending in June, its lowest level since 1993.
U.S. and Chinese trade negotiators met Wednesday but economists said an early breakthrough was unlikely. The manufacturing decline “will continue in 2019 until the trade and technology negotiations make some progress,” said Iris Pang of ING in a report. Chinese leaders have tried to shore up economic activity by pumping money into building highways and other public works. That has supported demand for construction materials but failed to reverse the overall downturn.
Exports of Chinese goods to the United States fell 7.8% in June from a year earlier. China’s global exports sank 1.3%.

I reported on this a while back. And my information came from two sources.

First, I have a friend who lives in China who gave me his observations on the ground. He said that many Chinese factories were idle. He said that far too many Chinese weren’t in their normal pattern of sleep and work.

Second, my pretend-parents have factories in China. They said that negotiations for their activities favored them for the first time in over a decade. They have factories begging for their business, each willing to undercut the other.

Sadly, the media doesn’t want Americans to know what common sense explains. When President Trump removed $250 billion from the Chinese economy, the Chicoms felt the impact. The American economy continues to grow. And had it not been for Boeing’s issue with the 737-800s, the Trump economy would likely still be setting stock market records.

Fear not, for the bull market will continue…in America.

China won’t fare so well. That’s because they bet on the wrong strategy.

As AP reported:

U.S. and Chinese envoys held “constructive” trade talks on Wednesday, the White House said, after President Donald Trump rattled financial markets by accusing Beijing of trying to stall in hopes he will fail to win reelection in 2020.
The meeting, aimed at ending a tariff war over trade and technology, ended about 40 minutes ahead of schedule. Neither delegation spoke to reporters before U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin left for the airport. But White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in a statement hours later that “the meetings were constructive,” and that talks are expected to resume in Washington in September, though exact dates were not announced.
According to the statement, the Chinese confirmed their commitment to President Donald Trump to buy more U.S. agricultural exports, something Trump had publicly been casting doubt on.
Economists had said quick breakthroughs were unlikely because the two governments face the same disagreements over China’s technology policy and trade surplus that caused talks to break down in May. Trump and President Xi Jinping agreed in June to resume negotiations but neither has given any sign of offering big concessions.
The dispute over U.S. complaints that Beijing steals or pressures companies to hand over technology has battered exporters on both sides and disrupted trade in goods from soybeans to medical equipment. Trump has raised tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese imports while Beijing responded by taxing $110 billion of U.S. products.

Trump’s economy is an undeniable success.

And as Newt Gingrich recently reminded us, strong economies win elections.

“If the economy stays good and the president stays focused, he’s going to win,” he remarked.

While making the prediction, Gingrich pointed to the Trump campaign’s increasing momentum, which he said: “is all predicated on just tremendous amounts of hard work.”

Just last month, Trump broke another amazing economic record. It’s hard to believe one president could have so much success, but that’s only because we spent eight years taking the beat-down of a lifetime. And while Obama promised an economic recovery, Trump delivered.
It’s that simple. During the Obama administration, we lost jobs. Manufacturing packed up and headed overseas. ObamaCare strained small businesses to the breaking point. The stock market posted dismal numbers. In short, Obama put us in a depression darker than the Great Depression.
However, the morning after the election, stocks started to rise. The promise of a Trump White House put confidence back in the market. Manufacturing returned. Jobs came back. An as for the depression, Trump was the Prozac that put an end to it. Now, we can’t stop breaking records.
Meanwhile, desperate democrats can’t find a solid candidate or a unifying message. But no matter what they cling to, the Trump economy slaps them in the face. And when you add the trade war victory to the economy, the Trump train becomes unstoppable.

President Trump Calls Out Al Sharpton And It’s SPOT ON!

Donald J. Trump has an uncanny ability to get people to do very odd things. In this case, the very odd thing is flocking to defend race-baiter, Al Sharpton. Whether his strategy is intentional or not is another thing. It seems intuitive, but perhaps it’s actually a calculated move. One thing is for sure, it’s pretty much Trump’s superpower.

Recently, he managed to leverage the outrage of his tweets against “The Squad” to get all Democrats to embrace them as the leaders of their party. There was a nasty feud in the Democrat party as Speaker Pelosi was trying to reign in the four über-left freshman Congresswomen who were deliberately alienating moderate Democrats and threatening to primary them. It ended with AOC calling Pelosi racist. 

Trump tweeted and that was it. 

Now the Democrats are united… under AOC and her Squad. Is he doing the same thing now that he’s criticizing Democrat districts?

The big News Of The Day™ is that President Trump is criticizing the Baltimore district of Democrat Congressman Elijah Cummings. (He has also tweeted about the “disgusting” streets of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s district,  and that New Hampshire was a “drug-infested den” but let’s ignore those for now.)

The tweets about the state of the district that Cummings represents has been labeled “racist” by the Powers That Be™ in the Media(D), so, naturally, Al Sharpton is swooping in to capitalize on that.

President Trump called out Sharpton on Twitter:

Trump and Sharpton have a long history that goes all the way back to when President Trump wasn’t seen as racist because race-baiters like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were lining up trying to get him to fund their pet causes.

I guess Donald Trump can just turn the racism on and off, which is kind of weird for a racist.

How unlike Al Sharpton who seems to have only one setting — Maximum Racism.

Al Sharpton has made a career out of race-baiting. He pushed the Tawana Brawley account of the black teen gang-raped by white men, but it was a hoax. He has spoken publicly about “offing” both “crackers” and “pigs” — but he doesn’t really get called out for that. Also, he incited violence against Jews.

We should never forget that Sharpton played a significant role in the Crown Heights riots. Sharpton repeatedly yelled to the angry crowd, “No justice, no peace!” And he has never outright apologized for what took place.

 

Based on everything we have seen and read, Sharpton never called upon the rioters to stop their anti-Semitism-inspired violence. He never called on the rioters to go home. To the contrary, he stirred them up. And three days of anti-Semitic violence became the Crown Heights riots.

Sharpton’s revisionism only serves to perpetuate the fallacy that the riots erupted organically from some underlying ongoing issues between the African-American and Jewish communities of Crown Heights. In other words, that profound tensions were boiling just beneath the surface and were suddenly unleashed by the tragic death of Gavin Cato.

That is simply untrue. The riots were the product of anti-Semites taking advantage of the tragic death of a child to justify inflicting their violence on innocent people – the Jewish community of Crown Heights – and murdering Yankel Rosenbaum, a Jew from Australia, amid the cries of “Kill the Jew!”

Now the Left is clutching their pearls because President Trump has called Al Sharpton a conman. Yeah, this isn’t the first time he’s done that. He said that in 2017 on Fox & Friends. 

Let’s be frank… Al Sharpton is just awful. He can’t even pronounce half of the words on his own show.  It might have something to do with the frequency that Sharpton plays the race card.

Sharpton has said some anti-Semitic things over the years. 

The President just isn’t giving Al Sharpton the R-E-S-P-I-C-T that he so clearly deserves.

Frankly, Sharpton doesn’t deserve R-E-S-P-I-C-T or R-E-S-P-E-C-T, either. The fact that he still has a platform is actually quite shocking.

But then, the left loves them some Rev. Al!

But the feeling is not the same on the right side of the aisle, especially among black conservatives.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

S&P 500 touches new record after trade ceasefire, but rally is losing steam

U.S. stocks rose on Monday after the U.S. and China agreed to hold off on slapping additional tariffs on their products in an effort to resume trade talks. The S&P 500 rose 0.5% and reached an all-time high of 2,977.86. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 53 points, or 0.2% as Nike and Apple outperformed. The Nasdaq Composite jumped 0.9%.

Chipmaker shares rose broadly. Skyworks Solutions gained 5.3% while Micron Technology advanced 3.8%. Shares of Qualcomm and Broadcom climbed 1.8% and 3.4%, respectively. Apple also rose 1.8%.

“The markets appear to be content with the cooperative tone coming out of the meetings. To me, it felt like the contrarian play was to the upside post meetings,” said Dan Deming, managing director at KKM Financial. “There was a great deal of bearishness in sentiment headed into the meeting. Many market observers were discounting any change in the narrative, which made many believe the risk was to the downside.”

But the major indexes pared their gains around midday in New York. If it weren’t for the big gains from chipmakers and other technology stocks on the Huawei reprieve, it would likely be an average slightly higher market day in reaction to the trade truce. At its session high, the S&P 500 was up 1.2%. The Dow and Nasdaq rose as much as 290 points and 1.8% respectively.

“There was a fair amount of exuberance at the open. I don’t know if it was celebrating good news or the absence of bad news,” said Willie Delwiche, investment strategist at Baird. “Either way, we started strong. The problem is, while we had a new high on the S&P 500, the number of individual stocks making new highs was shy of what we say back in late June,” when the index made its latest record close.

“I don’t want to overstress the importance of it, but it is not confirming the index-level highs,” Delwiche said.

Monday’s gains got Wall Street starting off the second half of the year on the right foot following a big first half. The S&P 500 rallied more than 17% to start off 2019, notching its best first half in more than 20 years. That surge came after stocks recovered in June from a torrid May performance. The Dow soared 7.2% in June, its biggest gain for that month since 1938. The S&P 500, meanwhile, jumped 7.9% for the month, marking its best June performance since 1955.

President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed not to impose new levies on U.S. and Chinese goods after meeting on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan on Saturday. Trump said the meeting went as well as it could have, noting: “We are right back on track.” Chinese state-run news outlet Xinhua said the two leaders agreed to “to restart trade consultations between their countries on the basis of equality and mutual respect.”

Trump added the U.S. will ease restrictions on American companies from selling products to Huawei, a giant telecommunications company from China. The U.S. barred companies from selling to Huawei in May, citing national security concerns. The U.S. president also said China would “buy farm product.”

Investors anxiously awaited the meeting between Trump and Xi as they looked for clues on whether the world’s largest economies would resume trade negotiations or if the conflict would be prolonged. Chetan Ahya, global head of economics at Morgan Stanley, described the meeting’s outcome as “an uncertain pause.”

There is “no immediate escalation, but still no clear path towards a comprehensive deal,” Ahya said in a note Sunday. “As things stand, we lack clarity on whether real progress was achieved on the sticking points that caused talks to break down in the first place. Hence, our overarching conclusion is that the developments over the weekend on their own don’t do enough to remove the uncertainty created by trade tensions.”

Comments from Larry Kudlow, director of the National Economic Council, added to the uncertainty around U.S.-China trade relations. Kudlow told Fox News on Sunday that Trump was not granting Huawei “general amnesty. ” He also said there is no timetable for when a deal might be finalized.

The lingering uncertainty around U.S.-China trade relations will continue to dampen the outlook on corporate earnings, said Larry McDonald, editor of The Bear Traps Report.

“There’s a substantial decay factor developing inside the S&P 500′s earnings picture,” McDonald said. “CFO’s cannot make decisions with a purgatory of uncertainty, endlessly … hanging over the market. The equity rally is a screaming sell.”

Calendar second-quarter earnings for the S&P 500 are expected to fall on a year-over-year basis, according to FactSet data. Analysts also lowered their third-quarter earnings forecast to show a contraction from the previous year, as profit expectations for multinationals with exposure to China have soured.

China and the U.S. have been embroiled in a trade war for more than a year. In that time, the U.S. has slapped tariffs on more than $250 billion worth of Chinese imports. China has retaliated with levies of its own on U.S. products.

GOP Rep. Chip Roy urges President Trump to go nuclear and defy the courts

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, on Wednesday called for President Trump to defy nationwide injunctions imposed by federal courts on his immigration policies and secure the border. Roy (Liberty Score A, 100%) was speaking on BlazeTV’s “Steve Deace Show” when he said it’s time for a “Jacksonian moment” from President Trump.

“You’ve talked about the court challenges this administration faces virtually any time it tries to honor any of its campaign pledges. What legal advice would you give them? At what point … would you advise them to stop taking [nationwide] injunctions and all the rest of this seriously?” host Steve Deace asked.

“I would tell the president to do that now. The time is now,” Roy responded. “We need a Jacksonian moment where the president of the United States looks at the courts and says, ‘you enforce that law.’”

President Andrew Jackson is famously attributed with responding to a Supreme Court opinion he had no intention of abiding by, saying, “John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!” Roy wants Trump to have the same attitude toward nationwide injunctions against his border policies.

Roy said the nationwide injunctions imposed by federal courts have prevented the Trump administration from securing the border. He cited the example of the 9th Circuit Court blocking Trump’s policy if having asylum-seekers wait for their cases to be processed in Mexico instead of waiting in the United States, where many illegal aliens have disappeared before their day in court.

Roy suggested that if that policy were allowed to go into effect, migrants would be disincentivized from attempting the dangerous journey across the Rio Grande river into the United States, knowing that they will be turned around after claiming asylum.

“Peoplewould have to go to the ports of entry, and then perhaps that man and that child would still be alive today,” Roy said, referring to the viral photo of a migrant father and his toddler daughter washed up dead on the shore of the Rio Grande river.

Federal judges have also issued nationwide injunctions blocking the Trump administration’s moratorium on travel to and from Middle East countries with terrorist activity, blocking Trump’s plan to give federal grants to police who enforce immigration laws, and blocking Trump administration policies rolling back Obamacare’s contraception rule and defunding doctors who perform abortions.

“This is a perpetual problem and at some point a president of the United States is going to have to look at the court and tell that court to pound sand when it is stepping over the ability of the American people to govern ourselves,” Roy said. “The president has the basic constitutional duty to secure the border of the United States and it’s absurd that we’re bowing down to the whims of judges and allowing that to create our policy so that now people are dying and getting harmed because we can’t actually do our job to secure the border.”

HORRIBLE CNN Interview For Obama

It’s only a matter of time before AG Bill Barr and newly appointed investigator John Durham get to this bit of information.

In an interview with CNN on July 22 of last year, crooked former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper inadvertently spilled the beans on Obama:

CLAPPER: “If it weren’t for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place.”

Clapper is on record saying that Obama gave the order to begin the investigation. An investigation to which Obama knew the outcome. The “Intelligence Community assessment” mentioned by Clapper involved using the “unverified and salacious” Steele dossier. Note that it was disgraced former FBI director James Comey who described the dossier as such. Moreover, we now know that the dossier is worse than unverified, as it is a complete work of fiction compiled from Russian disinformation source by British agent Christopher Steele and financed by the Clinton campaign.

What of the Mueller Report?

How could Special Counsel Robert Mueller have ignored this revelation? Given this readily available information, Mueller’s team should have at least interviewed Obama. One would think they would want to understand a bit more about his role in authorizing the “assessment”. What prompted his decision, and when did he see it going south.

Also, consider what Obama said of a Russian threat in 2016:

Every expert regardless of political party regardless of ideology, conservative or liberal who’s ever examined these issues in a serious way would tell you that instances of significant voter fraud are not to be found. That,

Keep in mind elections are run by state and local officials which means that, uh,  there are places like Florida whose Republican appointees are going to be running or monitoring these election sites, the notion that if Mr. Trump loses Florida it’s those because of those people you to have to watch out for. That’s both irresponsible, and by the way doesn’t really show the kind of leadership and toughness you want out of a president. You start whining before the game’s even over. If whenever things are going badly for you, and you lose you start blaming someone else, then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job.

But the larger point I want to emphasize here is there is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could, you could even rig America’s elections. In part because they’re so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved. There’s no evidence that’s happened in the past, or that there are instances where that will happen this time. So I would advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go make his case to get votes.

Interesting press conference given all that we’ve learned about “Russian collusion”.

I’m no investigator, but I’d like to know when Obama decided to take Trump seriously about cheating? I suspect it was on November 9, 2016.

What about the timing of Obama’s “whining”? In this presser he acknowledges the “Russian collusion” theory he previously denied had any possibility of happening?

Obama his minions hoped these efforts would form the basis of the coup against by this time, President-elect Trump. Meanwhile, they continued to monitor Trump and his team. Obama and team plotted to set people up in the Trump administration. And it all failed.

Now Clapper’s words haunt Obama and others in the administration. John Durham will build a pro-America team determined to get to the truth. And you can bet as I’ve written already, all roads lead back to Obama.

BUILD 45! College Students Are Raising Money For A Trump Statue In PUERTO RICO

How likely is it that you’ll see this on CNN?

Slim and None and Slim is out of town.

The College Republican Federation is raising money to build a bronze statue of President Trump to be placed in front of the capitol building in San Juan. The “Walkway of Presidents” currently has statues of nine U.S. Presidents that have made official visits to the island during their term in office.

Melvin Soto Vazquez, the vice president of the federation, explains that the statue is being crowdfunded because of fiscal restraints aimed at curtailing non-essential public works projects. The legislature of Puerto Rico is also quite hesitant to allocate funds to commission the statue for President Trump, so, the college Republicans decided to take the task on themselves. They started a GoFundMe campaign called “Build 45!” with a goal of $45,000 for the statue but so far, they have only managed to raise around $6,700.

These college kids are fans of the President and want his likeness in front of the capitol building. They think that he’s been doing quite a lot for Puerto Rico by allocating billions in aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Of course, you’d never hear that on the Media(D).

These young Republicans also want to have the first statue of President Trump on U.S. soil. Wouldn’t that be a thumb in the eye to the leftists? Pretty cool, guys!

Mexico HINTS at Doing what Democrats Won’t

Democrats refuse to work with President Donald Trump on addressing a multitude of issues. So the president must be creative in getting things accomplished.

Apparently, the president knows the game. So with respect to immigration, he again put Democrats in their place.

President Trump’s Chief of Staff announced that the President was “deadly serious” about imposing a 5% tariff on Mexican imports. Trump made this statement based on Mexico’s refusal to illegals from crossing into the U.S.

Leftists blasted the president’s statement, with many claiming the move would backfire on the president.

As The Hill reported, Obama’s ambassador to Mexico criticized Trump’s move. A former U.S. ambassador to Mexico is criticizing President Trump’s latest threat to levy tariffs on all imports from Mexico.

“I don’t think mixing immigration and trade tariffs is a good approach to things,” Earl Anthony Wayne, a career diplomat who served as ambassador to Mexico from 2011 to 2015 under the Obama administration, told Hill.TV on Monday.

President Trump announced last week that he would place a 5-percent tariff on Mexican imports starting June 10, saying the tariffs would rise each month to as high as 25 percent until Mexico stops the influx of Central American migrants at the southern border.

But Wayne warned that Trump’s latest threat against Mexico could potentially sabotage his new trade deal that would replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

“We just negotiated a new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada, which we’re trying to get the three Congress in each country to approve,” he said. “So then you have this going forward and then all of a sudden you have an unprecedented mixing of you’re not performing on immigration, so we’re going to impose new tariffs.”

Wayne said Trump should have taken a more consistent and conciliatory approach with Mexico over immigration.

“What I would have liked to have seen was several months ago, calling a meeting of ministers from both countries setting up a process for intense negotiations,” he said, adding that Trump’s diplomatic relations with Mexico on the whole have been “episodic.”

So much for what this clown knows.

What did Obama accomplish with Mexico during his tenure? Millions more illegals, and a growing trade deficit. During Obama’s tenure, the trade gap with Mexico hovered at around $60 billion annually. Not once did Obama discuss easing illegal entry into the United States, though he touted the border crisis multiple times.

Is Trump’s strategy working?

The Associated Press reports that Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador “hinted his country could tighten migration controls.” Of course this move directly responds to President Trump’s plan, as Obrador said he plans on engaging the White House in talks this week.

It’s important to understand the speed in which Mexico set up the meetings. Further, Obrador added that he hopes talks will be fruitful.

The White House noted that Democrats have consistently ignored any request from the them to approve the emergency funding to handle the massive numbers of illegals. Democrats politicized what should be a bipartisan effort to curb illegal immigration and help true asylum-seekers.

President Trump made it clear (in a tweet) in no uncertain terms that he was serious about tariffs.

People have been saying for years that we should talk to Mexico. The problem is that Mexico is an “abuser” of the United States, taking but never giving. It has been this way for decades. Either they stop the invasion of our Country by Drug Dealers, Cartels, Human Traffickers….

Clearly President Trump sees what Mexico does for what it is; a slap in the face of the United States. So what better time than now to get Mexico to do what Democrats refuse to do.

I said all along that America’s economy will be the president’s “trump card”, pun not intended. Mexico has known for some time that years of trade abuse would be paid back not only with trade balance, but also with penalties for allowing years of abuse from illegals.

President Trump now holds Mexico accountable where Obama and others intentionally failed.

Just yesterday, we told our readers about an impromptu visit by our President to a church.

The pastor who invited the President up for prayer during an unscheduled visit is now publicly disavowing having done so.

Pastor David Platt of McLean Bible Church in Vienna said he made the decision in haste and he did not intend his prayer to be an endorsement of Mr. Trump or any political stance.

“Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we didn’t see coming, and we’re faced with a decision in a moment when we don’t have the liberty of deliberation, so we do our best to glorify God,” Mr. Platt said in a statement to church members. “I found myself in one of those situations.”

Referring to the biblical passage of 1 Timothy 2:1-6, the pastor said, “My aim was in no way to endorse the president, his policies, or his party, but to obey God’s command to pray for our president and other leaders to govern in the way this passage portrays.”

“I know that some within our church, for a variety of valid reasons, are hurt that I made this decision,” the pastor said. “This weighs heavy on my heart. I love every member of this church, and I only want to lead us with God’s Word in a way that transcends political party and position, heals the hurts of racial division and injustice, and honors every man and woman made in the image of God.”

…White House spokesman Judd Deere said Sunday that the president stopped at the church to pray for the victims of the mass shooting in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and for the community. The president’s motorcade arrived at the church unexpectedly while Mr. Trump was returning to the White House from a golf outing at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.

Here’s what happened in the ‘offensive’ visit:

The president stood on stage while the pastor prayed for him, on a day that evangelist Franklin Graham had announced as a “Special Day of Prayer for the President.” Pastor Platt did not specifically refer to the Virginia Beach shooting, and Mr. Trump, with head bowed and folded hands holding his golf cap, didn’t say anything on the stage.

Afterward, the pastor said, “the president walked off stage without comment, and we closed our gathering by celebrating heroes among us, a couple who has spent the last 48 years spreading the gospel in remote places where it had never gone before they came. We then recited the Great Commission as we always do, sending one another out into the city for the glory of our King.”

There was no campaigning. There was no political speech masked as a sermon — like Mad Maxine has done in the past.

But praying for the President ‘In person’ was somehow upsetting to his congregation, and he apologized for it.

Why is praying for the President in absentia good, but praying for him in person somehow ‘bad’? Now that he’s getting pushback, he’s walking back the prayer. Have we all become so damned secularized that we’re afraid to pray for those who lead over us?

Would he have apologized for praying had it been Obama that showed up on his doorstep during his term in office?

Who’s REALLY guilty of ‘politicizing’ this prayer? Trump? Or the neverTrumpers with their knickers in a twist about him visiting their church?

It would cost the pastor nothing to say that — as someone who believes in 1 Timothy 2:2 — he believes in praying for whosoever is running our country, state, and community. Not because of any political affiliation, but because doing so has been commanded by God.

But no… he’s letting the SJW’s set the tone, and politicize prayer.

Won’t the secular left be pleased with his lockstep obedience to their agenda? I must have overlooked the verse about “Obeying God unless it upsets the influential families in your congregation”.

And let’s (for a moment) suppose Trump actually was every bit as evil as his critics would claim… didn’t Jesus have something to say about even that?

Things like:
…”I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

Or:
… “The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.”

Or even:
… “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.

So, are we to believe that if Jesus were running the service at that church, the Son Of God would have turned Trump away? Have you any examples of him doing that you could produce from Scripture?

Or maybe this pastor is reading a different Bible than the rest of us. Or maybe he’s forgotten about what it means to live for an ‘Audience of One’.

Three MAGA-Hat Wearing Brits Drop Truth Bomb On Media’s Claim of Trump ‘Dividing’ People

To hear the Media(D) tell it, these people shouldn’t exist — then again, they also predicted that Hillary had a ‘99% Chance of Winning’ 2016.

These guys just met.

One is a black guy with a British accent, and at least one of the other two is Scottish.

They’re all wearing MAGA hats, and they had to set the news correspondent straight about who is REALLY dividing people, and (more importantly) how.

Nationalism, they explain, isn’t a dirty word either. At least not what THEY mean by it. It brings people of very different backgrounds together by their common interests. Not RACIAL interests, but patriotic ones involving a flag that has — in many cases — been hundreds of years, in the making, usually with heroic stories of those who stood and fought under that flag to energize that patriotic spirit.

A hard-won victory in not one, but TWO World Wars…

The UK sprang from a culture so rich and stable that THREE of the SEVEN G7 Nations share that heritage.

They SHOULD love their country. Of course they should. They SHOULD want to defend its institutions — as we do ours. That’s what patriotism is all about, a positive sense of ‘nationalism’. 

‘MAGA-thinking’ (if you were to call it that) doesn’t flow from a desire for other countries to be somehow diminished. That’s petty Zero-Sum-Game Thinking. And it’s typical of the Left’s endless ideology of envy. It’s for losers. No. It’s something else entirely. And these foreign-born Trump fans seem to have it figured out.

‘MAGA-thinking’ is about letting other nations chart THEIR own course as they and their citizens best see fit, while America chart ours in the way WE think best for OUR people. And so far, we’re happy with the course our President has been charting.

President Trump made an unscheduled stop after a visit to his golf club on Sunday. Here’s what happened…

In the wake of the horrible mass shooting in Virginia Beach on Friday which left 12 dead, and many questions about motive, President Trump made a stop at McLean Bible Church in Vienne, VA. Judd Deere, a White House spokesman, said in a statement: “President Donald J. Trump is visiting McLean Bible Church in Vienna, VA, to visit with the Pastor and pray for the victims and community of Virginia Beach.”

As ClashDaily reported earlier, Franklin Graham and over 200 Christian leaders had called for a special day of prayer for the President on June 2 — yesterday.

When the President walked onto the stage wearing his golf shoes. Pastor David Platt took the opportunity to pray for the President.

I want to ask us to bow our heads together now and pray for our President.

Oh God, we praise You as the one Universal King over all. You are our leader and our Lord and we worship You. There’s one God and one Savior and it’s You and Your name is Jesus and we exalt You, Jesus. And we know we need Your mercy, we need Your grace, we need Your help, we need Your wisdom in our country. And so we stand right now on behalf of our President and we pray for Your grace and Your mercy and Your wisdom upon him.

God, we pray that he would know how much You love him so much that You sent Jesus to die for his sins, our sins. So we pray that he would look to You and he would trust in You, he would lean on You, that he would govern and make decisions in ways that are good for justice and good for righteousness and good for equity— every good path.

Lord we pray, we pray that You would give him all of the grace that he needs to govern in ways that we just saw in 1 Timothy 2 that lead to peaceful and quiet lives — godly and dignified in every way. God, we pray for Your blessing in that way upon his family. We pray that You give him strength, we pray that You give him clarity, wisdom, wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. Please, oh God, give him wisdom and help him to lead our country. Alongside other leaders we pray today for leaders in Congress we pray for leaders in courts, we pray for leaders in national and state levels. Please, oh God, help us to look to You, help us to trust in Your word, help us to seek Your wisdom and live in ways that reflect Your love and Your grace, Your righteousness and Your justice. We pray for your blessings on our President toward that end. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Opinion: Sharyl Attkisson: “Continued Focus On Supposed Obstruction Of Crime That Wasn’t Smacks Of Desperation”

Most people no matter their political leaning, most people would think that investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson attempts to be fair and factual in her reporting.  So, when the former CBS reporter took to The Hill in an op-ed concerning the continued pursuit by Democrats on alleged obstruction of a crime that wasn’t, she wrote that it smacked of “desperation.”

Attkisson wrote:

A friend of mine who is — I’ll just say it — a devoted Trump-hater recently was talking about President Trump’s obstruction and asked what I thought.

After listening to his views, I told him there’s plenty about which to criticize the president, as is true of any political leader. But the obstruction charge doesn’t make logical sense. I used an analogy to explain why. When I finished, this friend still hated Trump — but surprised me by saying, “Nobody’s ever explained it that way. That makes sense. You should write about it.”

Obviously, I don’t kid myself that this analogy will “make sense” to everyone. But after listening to both sides and looking at the publicly available evidence, here’s how I see it:

If you were a person of some authority and murdered someone, and prosecutors set out to investigate, and if you spoke publicly against the investigation, proclaiming your innocence and calling the probe a “witch hunt,” and if you worked behind the scenes to use your influence to fire the lead investigator on the murder case — that would seem to be a pretty clear case of obstruction of justice. You, as a guilty man, would be trying to stop authorities from finding out the truth.

But imagine, on the other hand, that you are innocent — accused of a murder you didn’t commit. Not only that, imagine you knew there was no murder to begin with because you saw the victim walking around after the supposed murder. Then, imagine you found yourself the target of the murder investigation by a team that included people who had declared you to be their sworn enemy and expressed strong desires to take you out. Then, imagine this team that included biased investigators began leaking false information to the national media to implicate you in this crime that you knew you didn’t commit.

Imagine that this cloud of the murder you knew was never committed hangs over you, month after month, until it drags on for years. It’s distracting you from your ability and authority to do the job in the public’s interests. But every time you speak publicly to defend yourself and proclaim your innocence, the media and your political enemies declare you to be a liar and say you are obstructing the investigation.

It begins to look like the fix is in.

Under these circumstances, you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t possess a desire to stop a potentially conflicted investigation by your political enemies into a crime that was never committed — least of all by you. Since you are innocent, your attempts to stop an unfair investigation could be fairly seen as an attempt to see justice done, not to obstruct it.

She went on to add, “If special counsel Robert Mueller is correct and there was no coordination of any kind between any American and Russia, then the latter analogy seems more applicable to President Trump than the former.”

“If Mueller is right, then Trump knew from the start that he didn’t conspire with Russian President Vladimir Putin,” she added.  “Nonetheless, he became the target of a supposedly independent investigation which, it turned out, included top team members who expressed personal disgust and hatred for him as well as a desire to take him out.”

Attkisson pointed out that every time President Trump decided to defend himself, it seems that the Mueller Report has sided with that defense despite the wranglings of his opposition.

She then made a clear point about any attempts Trump may have thought about in replacing Mueller in the investigation.

This cloud of supposed collusion, a crime that never happened, hung over Trump month after month until it dragged on for years. For someone who’s innocent, it would obviously begin to look like the fix was in.

Trump’s alleged conversations about trying to switch out Mueller, as documented in interviews with the special counsel, could fairly be interpreted as attempts to seek justice, not to obstruct it.

Attkisson even admits that she and others thought the outcome of the Mueller report could have produced evidence that Trump was Putin’s agent, based on leaks and reporting, but she concluded, “it wasn’t the case.”

She then said that all those who publicly opposed him for two years might “carry more weight” if only they would admit to the fact that they “chased their tails” for those years and that “when they finally snagged it, realized they hadn’t captured the enemy.”

Following that admission, Attkisson adds that those people would at least regain some bit of credibility in acknowledging they were wrong to then possibly target actual Trump policies that they oppose or find objectionable.

Instead of Trump being a liar on this point, his critics were found to be just that.   Even Robert Mueller has admitted that Trump was exactly right when he said that his campaign had not colluded with Russia.

Attkisson then concluded, “I’m no political expert but, to me as an Average Joe, the continued focus on supposed obstruction of a crime that wasn’t committed simply smacks of desperation.”

I think that’s exactly how most Americans who actually have listened to a sliver of what has taken place over the past two years think.

Despite my disagreements with President Trump over what I see are serious constitutional issues, which I’ve made no bones about, it has always seemed clear to me that when it came to “Russian collusion,” there was nothing there, except the wasting of the American people’s time and money and a lawless push for impeachment.

Is The President Causing Hate Crimes?

Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson says President Trump’s rhetoric is hateful, causing violence, resulting in an increase in hate crimes.

Eugene wrote a brilliant column right after 9/11, but haven’t seen the like since.

This President is a fighter. He is tough. Playing to win is in his DNA. He took on this responsibility and he is serious about restoring the country to greatness, saving it from the malaise of the Obama years. In order to take on and prevail against the vast forces marshaled against him (Democrats, Leftists, Communists, Jihadists, assorted anti-Americans, and the MSM) he has to confront every lie and every attack, head on.

He believes, as do about half the voters, that this country will go under unless we fight hard to restore some measure of traditional values and founding principles of the Republic.

I for one am glad we have a fighter in the White House. I’m glad he is keeping our enemies off balance, redoing trade deals, aggressively fighting the war on terror, doing all he can to secure the border, stoking the economy, and putting an end to various collectivist schemes as well as the tiresome and counterproductive apology tours.

People who criticize him for being aggressive are just looking for a way to undermine him and that is because he is so successful it irks them no end.

Eugene and others never said boo when Obama was talking about bringing a gun to knife fight and other such nonsense. Nobody objected when he urged people to get up in our faces. Did you ever hear a Democrat complain when Obama encouraged street demonstrations based on lies, goading BLM and ignoring the resulting violence? But now, some flimsy allegation about hate crime increases is sufficient to attack this President as an instigator. BS.

The vicious Left never relents and now an aggressive conservative is beating them at their own game without being vicious and all they can do is double down on viciousness. Not smart. Not effective. Not acceptable.

Now that President Trump has been cleared of “colluding” with Russia during the 2016 election, more and more information points to the Obama White House’s wrongdoing. It looks like a new report, set to drop in May or June, will show that Barack Obama interfered more in the 2016 presidential election that Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova recently appeared on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”

He noted, “The Horowitz report is coming out in May or early June. There’s another report that everyone has forgotten about involving James Comey alone. That will be out in two weeks. That report is going to be a bombshell. It is going to open up the investigation on a very high note and there are going to be criminal referrals in it.”

What Matters Here In ‘Forgotten America’ — Right Now

The Mueller Report is out and for most Americans—the ones not addicted to 24-Hour round the clock panel discussions and continuous (albeit pointless) coverage of every nuance inside of Washington, it’s over and it failed to show President Donald Trump or anyone in his orbit had anything to do with Russian interference in the 2016 Election.

The end.

No matter how hard the Democrats try to pump life into the Mueller Report and try desperately to make it something it’s not, America has moved on. People have a lot of things on their minds but Russia isn’t one of them.

Here are what people in Michigan and The Rust Belt do care about today.

The Economy and economic opportunity — Democrats I talk with find themselves in the awkward position of grudgingly praising the President and his success in this area. The vibrant economy is noticed by tens of millions of people all across the nation and no matter how loudly the left proclaims the Middle Class is disappearing, most people are smart enough to see that just isn’t true. Anyone who goes out for dinner on a Friday night or a Tuesday night for that matter is going to find full parking lots and a waiting list at any place decent. The parking lots are also full at Kroger, Home Depot and Starbucks. That doesn’t even take into account how many times the mailman and the lady from Fed-Ex are stopping each day to drop things off at their homes. And if things were so bad in America why are millions of people fighting to stay here while millions more are fighting to get in? The truth is things are pretty damned good and everybody knows it.

Wages are increasing because of the simple basic idea of supply and demand—there is a growing demand for good employees in numerous places creating a jump in paychecks. How many jobs are sitting open today because there just isn’t anyone to fill the slot? Millions is the answer and because of that employers are being forced to dig deeper or go without. Wages do not need to be dictated by the government when the market is dictating an upward trend.

Abortion on demand matters. Elective abortion on demand is being rejected by Catholics in large numbers and by people of faith in general. Even Democrats who identify as pro-choice recoil at the idea of aborting full-term babies or worse, deciding the fate of a child born alive after the fact. This kind of open barbarism and butchery really isn’t appealing to anyone I’ve met and may, in fact, be the biggest issue in 2020. It is not widely discussed in the echo-chamber media but it should be because it is being discussed at dinner tables and water coolers in the heart of the nation. It is turning people away from the Democrats by the score. Trust me on this and then watch the exit polling in 18 months to see what I was talking about.

Anti- Semitism is forcing a re-alignment of the Jewish vote in the Rust Belt and elsewhere. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar do not go unnoticed here and their words are doing real damage to the Dems. Anti-Semitism and more accurately anti-American comments are taking a serious toll on the left whether they care to admit it or not. If they want to stop this hemorrhaging they must stop tip-toeing around the issue and tackle it head-on.

The push for Socialism on the left matters because it is so dangerous. It is soundly rejected everywhere except in big cities and college campuses. If you leave the Diag at the University of Michigan you won’t find much praise for such ideas—at least not in Michigan. I would guess the same holds true for Madison and Columbus. The far-left workers Xanadu only exists in their fanciful minds because in practice it fails at a cost of millions of lives every time. People living in this country know it takes hard work to get ahead. If you are willing to work you can do anything in America and everyone knows that is still true.

The 2nd Amendment matters and a lot in Union Households and blue-collar workers are seeing calls by Dems for gun bans and gun confiscation. They don’t like it, they won’t support it and in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin millions will flock to the polls just to vote against it. I said in 2016 and say again today, the hunting and fishing crowd is key to victory for Donald Trump. The more that group is alienated by the left with copious talk of gun control the better it is for The President.

The Border matters to people here. They can see what chaos looks like and they know what a crisis looks like. They are not idiots. Many will support an influx of new immigrants—millions in fact but only if they follow the rules to get here. They do not support open borders, or sanctuary cities or amnesty for those who broke the law without regard. They want law and order and, as an aside, they support the border patrol and ICE.

Impeachment matters because Democrats know that if another two years is wasted in this effort, they will suffer for it. The things they want to see happen and what Americans want will never get done instead the opportunity will be squandered. Democrats will be punished at the polls in 2020 if they are unable to admit they were wrong, Donald Trump was not a master spy for Vladimir Putin nor was anyone else and the nation is ready to move on.

Moving forward matters most because people on all sides are worn out by all of the talk of Russia. They know it was not a factor in why Trump beat Hillary and they are sick and tired of hearing about it — it really is time to move on. The new House in more than 100 days in office has done what? What has been put forward to address jobs? Healthcare? The border? Infrastructure? Anything? Swing districts will be the whole show again in 2020 and right now Nancy should be worried because the voters in those districts are not impressed with what they are seeing — and not one is thinking, “if only Hillary Clinton were President it would all be great!”

Not one!

Obama Admin Warns Border Crisis Boiling Over

Once upon a time, President Obama warned the United States cannot tolerate illegal immigration.

Then, President Trump worked to turn his lip-service into action.

And we all know what happened next. Democrats suddenly started pretending the border crisis doesn’t exist.

In fact, not too long ago, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer stood arm in arm, acting as though they’ve never even considered a border crisis. Considering the massive proof that most Democrats previously supported tightening border security, only one logical explanation remained.

Apparently America is nothing without our illegals.

Thus, Pelosi let the cat out of the bag as to why she and other Democrats oppose President Trump’s wall.

She wants illegals to vote.

Pelosi spoke at a news conference on voting rights with Rep. Lloyd Dogget (D-TX) in Austin, Texas. According to the House Speaker, “newcomers” should “be fully part of our system” after arriving in the United States. Newcomers are in fact Pelosi’s euphemism for illegals.

“So, when we talk about newcomers, we have to recognize the constant reinvigoration of America that they are, that we all have been – our families,” Pelosi said.

“And that, unless you’re blessed to be Native American – which is a blessing in itself that we respect – but that constant reinvigoration of hope, determination, optimism, courage, to make the future better for the next generation.

“Those are American traits. And these newcomers make America more American.

“[Further] we want them, when they come here, to be fully part of our system. “And that means not suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”

Sadly, neither Americans or our LEGAL newcomers can accomplish this “re-invigoration” of the country. It takes illegals to do this.

But those votes link to clear and present danger, whether Pelosi admits it or not. Democrats can deny the border crisis as much as they want to, but the numbers don’t lie. More than a million illegal immigrants know to be in the US absolutely refuse to comply with deportation rules. How’s that for “law-abiding citizens?”Additionally, some estimates forecast more than a million migrants will be apprehended this year alone trying to cross illegally.

As Fox News reports:

Obama-era Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan sounded the alarm Thursday on the crisis at the southern border, testifying before Congress that the crisis is “at a magnitude never seen in modern times” and urging lawmakers to act to stop what he described as a virtual “open border policy.”

“We’re experiencing a crisis at the southern border at a magnitude never seen in modern times, it’s unprecedented,”Morgan, who served as the head of U.S. Border Patrol during the Obama administration,told the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

Morgan made the remarks after Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said that more than 76,000 migrants were detained in February — the highest number of apprehensions in 12 years — and were on pace for more than 100,000 apprehensions in March. The surge in numbers has led President Trump, who declared a national emergency on the border in February, to threaten to close the southern border if Mexico did not stem the numbers flowing north, and if Congress did not act.

“If we don’t make a deal with Congress…or if Mexico doesn’t do what they should be doing…then we’re going to close the border, that’s going to be it, or we’re going to close large sections of the border, maybe not all of it,” he said in the Oval Office Wednesday.

Downward Spiral

Of course, we know the border crisis is escalating a neck-breaking speed. Under Obama, the crisis was difficult to manage. But now, the President fights this battle without the support of Congress. Further, many agents are diverted from security to humanitarian efforts.

Fox continues:

“In 2016, as chief, I estimated 15 percent of agents’ resources were diverted from the front lines to support humanitarian activities. I saw that as a crisis and so did everyone else,” he said. “Now Border Patrol is diverting 40 percent of personnel away from front lines to humanitarian-related functions, meanwhile cartels are exploiting the resultant resource gaps.”

Like Trump, who has blamed U.S. immigration laws in part for the crisis, Morgan said that “loopholes in our asylum laws and nonsensical judicial precedent has driven what has devolved into essentially an open border policy for a certain demographic.” He added that families coming to the border know that if they step foot on U.S. soil they can say they have “credible fear” of returning home and they’ll be allowed into the U.S.

He also warned that an unsecured border is leading to increased flows of drugs into the U.S. and called the claim that most drugs come through ports of entry “simply false.”

“We have no idea, no idea what’s coming through our southwest border,” he said.

It’s actually very simple, we have two choices here. We can continue listening to an ideology fueled by personal politics and bitterness over a lost election. Or, we can study the facts, evaluate the figures, and protect our country.

#WINNING: Pentagon Allocates $1 Billion For Border Wall Construction

President Trump’s major campaign promise is one step closer to becoming a reality.

After facing opposition from RINOs in the 115th Congress and stonewalling from Democrats in the 116th, President Trump declared a national emergency to allocate funds for border construction.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi might believe that walls are ‘immoral’ but fortunately, the Pentagon disagrees.

The Pentagon has approved the transfer of up to $1 billion to build 57 miles of President Trump’s southern border wall, according to a Defense Department statement released Monday night.

Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan notified Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen of the transfer in a letter, released alongside the statement, which said the money will go to block “up to 11 drug-smuggling corridors along the border.”

Look at that! The target areas are known drug-smuggling corridors. That makes perfect sense, don’t you think?

Shanahan “authorized the commander of the U.S Army Corps of Engineers to begin planning and executing up to $1 billion in support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Patrol,” according to the statement.

“These funds will be used to support DHS’s request to build 57 miles of 18-foot-high pedestrian fencing, constructing and improving roads, and installing lighting within the Yuma and El Paso Sectors of the border in support of the February 15 national emergency declaration on the southern border of the United States.”

The statement adds that the Pentagon has such authority to transfer the money “to construct roads and fences and to install lighting to block drug-smuggling corridors across international boundaries of the United States in support of counter-narcotic activities of Federal law enforcement agencies.”

The plan is that;

  • approximately $8 million will be reallocated to build the wall,
  • with $6.1 million coming from Pentagon accounts.
  • Of that, $2.5 million will be taken from counter-drug programs 
  • and $3.5 from military construction projects.

Transferring money from counter-drug measures to build the wall to stop drug smugglers is going to really trigger our comrades on the left. And the fact that it’s going to block an area of the border from Yuma to El Paso is going to trigger one particular leftist — one Robert Francis O’Rourke.

Of course, Democrats are opposing the move.

CNN is taking some tentative steps into a return to actual reportage without overt bias. In their reporting on the wall funds, CNN mentions that all of the Senate Democrats on the Appropriations Committee’s subcommittees on Defense and Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies signed a letter objecting to the reallocation of funds to the border wall. The Senators claim that the Pentagon did not seek approval before notifying the committee of the transfer of funds.

“We strongly object to both the substance of the funding transfer, and to the Department implementing the transfer without seeking the approval of the congressional defense committees and in violation of provisions in the defense appropriation itself,” the senators wrote. “As a result, we have serious concerns that the Department has allowed political interference and pet projects to come ahead of many near-term, critical readiness issues facing our military.”

The letter was signed by Sens. Patrick Leahy, Democrat of Vermont; Dick Durbin, Democrat of Illinois; Jack Reed, Democrat of Rhode Island; Brian Schatz, Democrat of Hawaii; Jon Tester, Democrat of Montana; Patty Murray, Democrat of Washington; Chris Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut; Tammy Baldwin, Democrat of Wisconsin; Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California; and Tom Udall, Democrat of New Mexico.

Wow! That almost looks like honest-to-goodness reporting! However, the article is accompanied by a video that discusses how unlikely and expensive the wall would be.

Baby steps, I guess.

Even CNN’s attempt at throwing cold water on the border funds, (and what exactly is their solution — more physical patrols by border security agents?) this is still a win for President Trump.

It’s time for the wall to be built. We cannot continue to ignore the people flooding across the border. The New York Times was forced to admit that some detainment facilities in Texas border towns are over capacity and illegal border crossers are just let go as hundreds of ‘migrants’ arrive by the day. This simply cannot continue.

Not only that, no one seems to acknowledge the ripple-effects on legal immigrants who have to wait longer to be processed as resources are used to deal with illegal border crossers.

The wall is long overdue.

Media Magic: How a Democrat Pedophile Became a 'Trump Scandal'

Strangely, the media have suddenly taken an intense interest in the case of pedophile and major Democratic donor Jeffrey Epstein.

In 2005, the Palm Beach police were told by the mother of a young girl in West Palm Beach that her daughter had been brought to the Democratic donor’s mansion and asked to have sex with him for money. This kicked off an intensive, one-year undercover investigation.

The police sifted through Epstein’s garbage and interviewed 17 witnesses, including the housemen, who told of sex toys and dildos left behind after the underage girls left. One of Epstein’s procurers, a 20-year-old local woman named Haley Robson, who was paid $200 for every teenaged girl she brought to Jeffrey, was cooperating with police, telling them she was like “Heidi Fleiss.” They obtained statements from five of Epstein’s young victims, who said they’d been paid $200 to $300 to engage in various sex acts with him. Police raided Epstein’s home, finding explicit photographs of teenaged girls, incriminating phone records — and one girl’s high school transcript.

But when the police chief brought this mountain of evidence to Palm Beach County’s Democratic prosecutor Barry Krischer, he punted, charging the Democrat child molester with only one count of soliciting prostitution — yes, the child victims were labeled “prostitutes” — and offered Epstein probation.

Perhaps Krischer was exhausted, having just spent three years hounding Rush Limbaugh for abusing back pain medication.

Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter exploded in rage. (Meanwhile, Epstein claimed to be the victim of an anti-Semitic conspiracy on Palm Beach.) Chief Reiter wrote an open letter to Krischer asking the Democrat to remove himself from the case. Then he turned to the Bush administration to seek justice against a Democratic donor/accused child rapist.

As stories go, a child sex case involving a Palm Beach billionaire was pretty big. It was covered in the British press, in Florida media, at The New York Post and at Fox News. Bill O’Reilly led with the story on his Fox News show. But CNN and MSNBC did not breathe a word about a Democratic prosecutor refusing to hold a Democratic child rapist accountable.

Epstein had given more than $145,000 to Democratic candidates and causes, including Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer. He was a big Israel backer. Bill Clinton and Democratic activist Ron Burkle were frequent guests on Epstein’s private plane, dubbed the “Lolita Express.” And Krischer was a hero for his dogged pursuit of Rush Limbaugh! Why bring up all this unpleasantness?

Thanks to Chief Reiter, President Bush’s U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alex Acosta, did take the case, despite the fact that only Epstein’s child rapes on his plane, on his private island or with girls brought across state lines would make it a federal case.

As a result of the (Republican-led) federal investigation, Epstein was finally required to plead guilty to two state felony charges, accept a sentence of two years in prison, register as a sex offender, and pay restitution to his victims.

Still no coverage by MSNBC or CNN.

Inasmuch as Epstein was pleading guilty to a state charge, the matter of his confinement was out of the U.S. attorney’s hands. It was Democratic county prison officials — not the feds — who placed Epstein in a private wing of the county jail and allowed him to spend 12 hours a day, six days a week at his Palm Beach mansion throughout his 13-month “imprisonment.”

In 2014, the brilliant conservative lawyer Paul Cassell and Bradley Edwards brought suit against the federal prosecutors for violating the Crime Victims’ Rights Act in the Epstein case.

As bad as the U.S. attorney’s office was, at least it did something. Democrat Krischer gave Epstein a walk. But no matter how appalling Krischer’s behavior was, the Crime Victims’ Rights Act only applies to federal prosecutions.

When Cassell and Edwards filed their case, they included the claims of various Epstein victims, who reported that the men at “Orgy Island,” where underage girls were being used as “sex slaves,” included Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz and Prince Andrew.

CNN gave extensive coverage to the celebrity-filled allegations, inviting Dershowitz on to defend himself and lavishing attention on the irrelevant prince. Amazingly, but characteristically, not once did CNN mention that Bill Clinton was named in the pleadings.

Only one show on MSNBC, “All In With Chris Hayes,” so much as acknowledged the bombshell case, also without letting on that Clinton had been named as a frequent Epstein guest by the child victims.

But recently, the very news outlets that spiked any news about this case for the past 13 years are suddenly hot on the trail of Jeffrey Epstein. Why the newfound sense of decency?

The answer is: Because they found a Trump connection. There’s a 2002 quote from Donald Trump saying nice things about Epstein and photographic proof that Epstein was one of the hundreds of thousands of people who have been to Mar-a-Lago. (There are rumors he has also been to the Grand Canyon and the Empire State Building.)

This is how the modern American media work: I’ll tell the same story that we’ve been frantically suppressing for a decade, connect it to Trump — and win a Pulitzer Prize!

Here is MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell describing Epstein a few weeks ago in a single segment:

“… a friend of Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein …

“… child sex trafficker and child rapist and friend of Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein …

“… a billionaire friend of Donald Trump’s …”

Epstein was a “friend” of Donald Trump’s the same way he is a “friend” of Pinch Sulzberger by virtue of reading The New York Times. He’s been to Trump’s club. (That is, until Trump barred him for propositioning the underage daughter of a member.)

But pay no attention to Jeffrey Epstein and his roster of Democratic enablers — this is a Trump scandal!

It seems that the U.S. attorney who oversaw the federal prosecution, Alex Acosta, is currently Trump’s Labor secretary. Trump didn’t know Acosta’s name during the Epstein prosecution, but liberals think they’ve unraveled Trump’s decade-long scheme to reward Acosta for being lenient on Epstein — aka “friend of Donald Trump’s.“

The silver lining is that we finally have a way to make Hillary Clinton pay for her crimes. Trump has to appoint her to his Cabinet. Then we’ll see the entire American press corps chanting, “Lock her up!”

Trump went WAY off-script at CPAC, covering a bunch of topics and the crowd loved it! But among the things that were planned was the President’s response to the rise of the authoritarian Left on campus.

You can suppress speech, or you can have government money — but not both.

Here’s your President working his magic:

“We reject oppressive speech codes, censorship, political correctness and every other attempt by the hard left to stop people from challenging ridiculous and dangerous ideas. These ideas are dangerous,” Trump said. “Instead we believe in free speech, including online and including on campus.”

“Today I’m proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal research grants.”

He punctuated his point by bringing up Hayden Williams, the guy who was sucker-punched in the face at Berkeley while tabling. The Violent Snowflake Who Beat Up MAGA Student Better Brace Himself For Jail — the attacker has since been formally charged.

With all the examples of schools shutting down right-of-center guest speakers, limiting their attendance, or turning a blind eye when left-wing agitators break up meetings, this will speak in a language they can understand.

So many times, STUDENTS are told what they are or are not allowed to do in a government-funded school (BAD TEACHER: Middle School Teacher Forbids Reading Bible During “Free Time”, and Dear Apolitical Christians: This CA Bill Could Ban The Bible And The Christian Worldview for example), even though Original Intent of the Establishment Clause was to protect the religious and free speech rights of the citizen, not curtail it.

It will be nice to see that flipped around to say that if you want government money, you will treat free citizens AS free citizens, and leave their speech alone.

There he goes standing up for the rights of American citizens. Clearly that’s proof positive that he’s the second coming of Stalin… or that other guy they keep comparing him with.

With chants of ‘Drain the Swamp’, we sent Trump to Washington for a reason: to protect our Freedoms from the all-consuming appetite of a Leviathan Government. That’s why he started slashing red tape and taxes. He’s getting Government out of the way, so free people — individuals and businesses — can give the double middle-finger to the scolds who recently told us ‘you didn’t build that’.

Biden claimed that Republicans wanted to “put y’all back in chains”. But in two years as President, he’s done the opposite.

Trump came to take the shackles off so that the world could once again hear the Roar of true American Freedom.

Hush Little Porn Star, Don't Say a Word

If that’s the best he’s got, Trump should demand we hold the election this coming Tuesday.

Cohen was referring to Trump’s 2017 reimbursement of the $130,000 hush money he paid to porn star Stormy Daniels to stay quiet about her claim that she’d had sex with Trump, aka Cohen’s client — meaning much of Cohen’s testimony is barred by attorney-client privilege. But who cares about this sacred legal privilege? We’re trying to get Trump!

Neither the media nor Cohen seem to realize that Cohen wasn’t doing anything illegal when he paid the “hush money.” (Just because Trump thinks every Jewish lawyer is Roy Cohn doesn’t mean you have to, too, New York Times.)

Words like “hush money” and “porn star” make the payments sound unsavory — especially to The New York Times, known during the Clinton era as Defender of Inappropriate Presidential Sex — but there’s nothing criminal about paying money to suppress embarrassing information, even in the middle of a political campaign.

If it wasn’t illegal for Cohen to pay the hush money, it’s certainly not illegal for Trump to reimburse him for it. Cohen was, after all, Trump’s lawyer. He got reimbursed for a lot of things.

But we have to have days of hearings in hopes of establishing that Trump violated the campaign finance reporting requirements with these payments, in which case, OH MY GOSH, HE’D HAVE TO PAY A FINE.

I’d be more impressed if they got Trump on a jaywalking charge.

President Obama had to pay $375,000 in fines for actual campaign violations during his 2008 run, and I don’t think we needed 16 prosecutors, half of Congress and the entire media on the case.

The theory of Trump’s alleged campaign finance violation is that if you’re running for office, all normal life expenses suddenly become campaign-related. According to these neurotics, ANY money Trump or his companies spent during the campaign is a potential campaign finance expenditure.

Paying your gardeners is a campaign expense — because who would vote for a man who can’t even keep the hedges tidy at Mar-a-Lago? If Trump had gone to the hospital for an appendectomy — well, he got his appendix cut out because he feared that if he died of appendicitis, he wouldn’t get the nomination.

1) Trump, with his fine legal mind, knew he was violating the law; and

2) He authorized the payments only because he was running for office.

So prosecutors have a fantastic case, provided they can get Trump to admit on the stand, Oh no, I wasn’t worried that these allegations would hurt my brand at all. I didn’t care about what my grandkids or Melania would think. I had Cohen pay off a porn star for the sole purpose of misleading the public into voting for me on the basis of my character.

Such an argument would be absurd with anyone, but we’re talking about Donald Trump. He didn’t exactly hold himself out to the voting public as a moral paragon.

As voters were well aware, Trump’s been married three times, has appeared in Playboy videos, and was a fixture on the Howard Stern show for years, discussing breast sizes and ranking women’s looks. In the very first GOP debate, Fox News reminded viewers that Trump had called women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

The reason the “Access Hollywood” tape failed so spectacularly was that Trump had never appealed to Americans based on his character.

To take a contrary example at random, off the top of my head: Sen. John Edwards’ presidential campaign was entirely premised on his boasting about how much he loved the poor and loved his cancer-stricken wife — and also loved his son, who died in a car accident and he’s never told anyone this story before …

About a year before Edwards was caught by a real newspaper, The National Enquirer, visiting his love child and mistress in the Beverly Hilton, Edwards droned on and on about the importance of marital fidelity to NBC’s Katie Couric. It was, he said, “fundamental to how you judge people and human character — whether you keep your word, whether you keep what is your ultimate word, which is that you love your spouse, and you’ll stay with them.”

In order to preserve this utterly false image, Edwards arranged for his campaign donors to fork over nearly a million dollars to keep his baby mama happy and quiet. These were donors — not Edwards’ personal lawyer — who ponied up because they wanted him in the White House, and the money was being spent to protect the candidate’s completely bogus public image.

But when federal prosecutors brought a case against Edwards for failing to report these rather more obvious campaign expenditures, the government was nearly laughed out of court. The media ridiculed the entire prosecution and the jury acquitted, presumably on the grounds that, however much Edwards didn’t want voters to know about the affair, he also didn’t want his wife to know.

Trump won the presidency not because he touted himself as a man of character, but because he said he was someone who could get things done. Like build the wall. If you’re going to impeach him, impeach him for that.

Breaking: Trump Has Found $8 Billion for Border Barrier Construction

President Donald Trump plans to spend about $8 billion on border barriers, far more than Congress has given him for that purpose.

Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says Trump will tap various other sources of money beyond the nearly $1.4 billion in a government funding bill that Congress passed. Trump is expected to sign the bill.

Besides the money from Congress, Mulvaney said Friday that Trump plans to spend $600 million in Treasury forfeiture funds and $2.5 billion in Defense Department counterdrug money.

Trump is also tapping about $3.6 billion worth of funds set aside for military construction projects.

Mulvaney says Trump is not tapping disaster relief money designated to help Texas and Puerto Rico following recent devastating hurricanes.

Congress has lopsidedly approved a border security compromise that would avert a second painful government shutdown.

But a new confrontation has been ignited. Trump’s plan to bypass lawmakers and declare a national emergency to siphon billions from other federal coffers for a wall on the Mexican boundary is certain to be challenged.

Money in the bill for border barriers, about $1.4 billion, is far below the $5.7 billion Trump insisted he needed and would finance just a quarter of the 200-plus miles he wanted.

The White House said he’d sign the legislation passed Thursday but act unilaterally to get more. That prompted condemnations from Democrats and threats of lawsuits from states and others who might lose federal money or said Trump was abusing his authority.

The president makes remarks this morning at the 2019 National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

During the event, he’ll speak to a range of leaders from all over the world, including clergy, diplomats and lobbyists.

The annual event at the Washington Hilton especially attracts conservative evangelicals who are “jockeying to rub shoulders with Washington’s elite,” as The Washington Post put it.

Every president since Dwight D. Eisenhower has attended the event.

It draws several thousand people; this year’s event is co-chaired by Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.).
