STABLE GENIUS: El Rushbo Thinks Trump Just Beat Acosta At His Own Game

Written by Wes Walker on August 13, 2019

You know those press ‘sprays’ Trump keeps doing on the WH lawn? Rush Limbaugh says its an example of Trump winning … yet again!

Ask yourself a question — how long has it been since you saw one of those annoying Jim Acosta exercises in grandstanding?

They were almost a daily event at one point there, right? But they’ve pretty much dried up.

In fact, most of us have all but forgotten about that sad little glory hound, haven’t we?

How is that even possible when the President is talking to the press almost every single day, sometimes for 90 minutes at a shot?

El Rushbo has it pretty much figured out:

But you know one of the things I noticed? You know, there’s no White House press briefing anymore. They don’t do ’em. They don’t get together in the pressroom at 1 o’clock every day with the media asking questions. Guess what we don’t see now? We never see the media on TV. We never see them. Trump has totally taken away their star turns.

He comes out of the White House on the way to the helicopter, he takes questions on the way, but the camera is always on him. We never see the Drive-Bys. All we do is hear them. And I’m telling you, they sound like a bunch of spoiled-rotten, impolite kids, all of them shouting their inane questions at the same time. But you never see their faces. Trump has taken away their face time in context of White House press briefings.

Now, throw this picture up, Brian. We put a picture here in the switcher. For those of you watching on the Dittocam, this is what I’m talking about.

This is what it looks like now. Trump leaves the White House on the way to the jet. That’s the Drive-By Media, the press gaggle, shouting their questions. You’ll hear it in a minute. “Mr. President! Mr. President!” They’re shouting like a bunch of little spoiled rotten kids. But none of them are on TV anymore. He has taken that away from. This is a still-shot photo. This is not a video still shot. The only shot that was made available on TV today of this press availability was straight on the president from behind that gaggle of Drive-Bys.

We’ll post this at shortly so you’ll be able to see it there. Not all of you are watching on the Dittocam. But this is not happenstance. It’s not accidental. This has been done purposely, you know, they had these people like Jim Acosta and April Ryan and the rest of these egomaniacs showing off in the pressroom simply trying to make names for themselves.

Who could ask the rudest question? Who could express the greatest amount of disgust for Sarah Sanders and Trump? So they simply took it away from ’em, and this is what the press gets now. And they are not on TV. And, believe me, particularly for the television Drive-Bys, being on TV is everything. Face time is everything, and the Trumpster is artfully denying them that which they love.

For all their mockery, Trump beat them at their own game. He took the driver’s seat and deprived their antics of any oxygen.

Hostile Media Desperate to Derail Trump’s Foreign Trip. Press scanning tweets, dredging anonymous sources to disrupt focus on overseas tour

Rest in peace, lead-from-behindism! The new American president doesn’t bow to anyone, he doesn’t apologize for America, and — as it turns out — he doesn’t get deserted at the airport. So long, and good riddance to the Obama administration’s disastrous foreign policy, which eroded the world’s respect for America. That’s the consequence of projecting weakness on the world stage. That’s the consequence of a fearful, feckless foreign policy built on the sinkhole foundation of peace through weakness.

The logic of the previous administration went something like this: If America willfully weakened itself, the rest of the world would love us. For eight years we endured a strategy of scaling down the U.S. military, infecting it with politically correct nonsense, apologizing for America’s past, denying that America is exceptional, waffling on red lines, enabling the birth and proliferation of ISIS, and allowing rogue regimes such as Iran and North Korea to run amok.

As each “controversy” surfaces for its moment in the sun, bear in mind, these are the same outlets who thought reckless, feckless Obama could do no wrong.
Unfortunately, love — even if it were attainable — is of no geopolitical value. Only respect has value. Peace through strength is back, thanks to President Trump.

And respect was on display when King Salman of Saudi Arabia greeted President Trump at the airport in Riyadh, and he received red carpet treatment. It was a far cry from President Obama’s last visit where King Salman sent his distant nephew to pick up Obama at the airport. That disrespect was a result of President Obama’s willingness to trash our relationship with the Gulf State “sheikists” in order to make a ridiculous deal with the Shiite, death-to-America regime in Iran.

Now, President Trump is using his ambitious foreign trip — where he’ll visit the holy lands of three major world religions — to send the message that America is back and stands by its traditional allies.

But the mainstream media — the same that spent eight years enabling Obama’s sharks in the press poolfecklessness — aren’t having any part of the “America’s back” narrative. They’re beside themselves that the news cycle has shifted away from the anonymous source leaks they’ve been cramming down America’s throat and away from their Trump-Russia collusion fury. These are media determined to manufacture a narrative of failure regarding all aspects of Trump’s presidency.

Over the weekend, Byron York at the Washington Examiner reported on a Harvard study that quantified the anti-Trump bias of several mainstream media outlets. Of course, you don’t have to be a lab-coat-wearing, laboratory-dwelling scientist armed with an electron microscope and a mountain of grant money to figure that out. Just spend two minutes with any of those outlets, and you’ll be swimming in bias. When a supposedly objective news anchor such as CNN’s Anderson Cooper responds to contributor Jeffrey Lord by saying that if Trump “took a dump on his desk,” Lord would defend it, it’s safe to assume there’s bias at work.enemedia

Now, after all the work they’ve done for the past few days digging up anti-Trump gossip from anonymous sources, they have to switch gears and talk about a scandal-free foreign trip.

They’re framing it like it’s just halftime — an opportunity for the resistance to get up and use the bathroom while the marching band takes the field.

All they can do is lie in wait, ready to pounce on any perceived faux pas that Mr. Trump may commit. They almost certainly have an eye on Twitter awaiting any leftwing faux outrage that may surface so they can proliferate it. Already, there have been several stories about the fact that Melanina and Ivanka Trump didn’t wear headscarves. What’s the big deal about that? Well, President Trump tweeted two and a half years ago that “Mrs. Obama refused to wear a scarf” in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudis were “insulted.”

Crisis. Catastrophe. Hysteria. You’d think each individual Trump tweet is one of the nation’s founding documents and that the president himself had taken an oath to preserve, protect and defend all 35,000 of them.

Trump has tweeted 35,000 times. Anyone demanding that his presidency and the policies of his administration be consistent with all 35,000 tweets will probably be disappointed often. But that’s not what this story is about. This story is about trying to thwart the success of the American president on an overseas trip. It’s just part of a pathetic attempt to find a negative angle on everything. CNN and NBC, which — according to Harvard — spend 93 percent of their time trashing the president, both had this story featured prominently on their websites.trump derangement syndrom vacine

These news outlets go Three Mile Island every time Mr. Trump utters the words fake news, but consider the asinine assumptions a story like this rests on:

1.) The assumption that Trump’s 35,000 tweets should be binding on his actions as president.
2.) The assumption that Melania and Ivanka’s choice of clothing belongs to President Trump and not to them.
3.) The assumption that this story is actually newsworthy.

But it’s not about newsworthiness — it’s about unearthing a negative weapon to hurl at the president’s trip. After all, when Trump fired Comey, and the Left had their weekly meltdown, the MSM wasn’t at all interested in trolling through all those #FireComey tweets floating around the Twittersphere to expose Democrat hypocrisy.

So in the coming days, as the president goes about the important business of fixing all the damage President Obama did, watch for the MSM to attempt to undermine him with ridiculous controversies that are hatched from Twitter eggs or divulged by anonymous sources who probably sleep in oversized #ImWithHer t-shirts. But as each “controversy” surfaces for its moment in the sun, bear in mind, these are the same outlets who thought reckless, feckless Obama could do no wrong.

Yes, CNN, the MSM is fake news

fake news

Poor CNN. Donald Trump hurt their little feelings again. This time it was in an advertisement touting the “success” of his first 100 days in office. CNN was offended and labeled the ad false because Trump had labeled CNN fake news. The problem is, the five journalists with “fake news” blazoned across their faces are purveyors of biased and fake news. CNN fell into the trap again.

Here’s a look at the ad.

The part CNN gets upset at is about twenty seconds in, where pictures of a variety of news personalities were shown with the words “fake news” over the pictures. CNN said, in a statement, that its network and the rest of the mainstream media are not fake news, so the ad is false and can’t air until the graphic is changed.

But in fact, CNN, and especially the journalists in that graphic, have peddled biased and fake news stories.

The fake five

The five journalists in the graphic were Andrea Mitchell, Wolf Blitzer, Rachel Maddow, George Stephanopoulos, and Scott Pelley. Each one of those journalists has proffered fake or misleading news stories. Here’s just a sampling:

  • Andrea Mitchell: Mitchell said that Juanita Broaddrick, the woman who has accused Bill Clinton of rape, was discredited. That assertion was so egregious that NBC had to scrub the segment it was on, without even an editors’ note, as the Washington Free Beacon explains. That’s one of many with Mitchell.
  • Wolf Blitzer: Blitzer’s producers asked the DNC which questions he should ask Donald Trump in a foreign policy interview. Wikileaks uncovered that the DNC told staffers that “CNN was looking for questions” not just for Trump but for many of the GOP primary candidates, according to the Washington Times.
  • Rachel Maddow: It’s hard to know where to start with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. So here’s the obvious. In a feat reminiscent of the opening of Al Capone’s vault, Maddow hyped that she “had Trump’s tax returns.” The only problem was they were 10 years old and showed that he paid a lot of taxes.
  • George Stephanopoulos: Stephanopoulos failed to disclose to ABC that he had donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation before interviewing Hillary Clinton, against company policy, the Washington Free Beacon reported. After finally disclosing, he had to step down from hosting a primary debate.
  • Scott Pelley: While the fake news troubles at CBS are legendary — think faked national guard memos from Dan Rather — Pelley has his own issues. They include bias and presenting the news with a virulent anti-Trump slant, like the time he insinuated that Trump was responsible for Syrian war atrocities like the chemical gas attack. Newsbusters reported on the story.

The first step to fixing a problem is admitting you have a problem. By taking umbrage at a truthful statement from Donald Trump about five known purveyors of biased journalism, CNN does itself no favors.

Is there any lingering doubt why, according to a recent poll, Americans trust Trump more than they trust the media?

Once Again Media Lies About the ‘Rise’ In ‘Hate Crimes’ Against Muslims

waving flagAuthored By Warner Todd Huston November 17, 2016

Now that Donald Trump has been elected to the White House, you can be sure that the media will suddenly realize that homelessness is rampant, unemployment is a major problem, the economy is bad, and America is evil again. And to prove the contention, the media is already talking about how there has been a “massive rise” in “hate crimes” against Muslims. And it’s all Trump’s fault. But don’t believe these lies.

Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

The latest guffaw worthy claim that America is suddenly gone all racist against Muslims was floated by the Associated Press on Monday, almost a week after President Elect Donald Trump stunned the media by winning the election.

The wild-eyed, spittle-specked claim was then echoed by such sources as CNN, The New York Times, ABC News, and a host of others decrying the “surge” or the “hike” or the fears of a “massive” rise in hate crimes against Muslims.

But it is all based on lies, folks. Don’t believe a word of it. So, let’s look at the AP’s version of this nonsense, shall we?

For its November 14 article, the AP decided to essentially misuse the FBI’s reporting on hate crimes to float in an alarming headline reading: Hate crimes against Muslims up by 67 percent in 2015picture2

Oh, and the AP wants you to know it’s all Trump’s fault. Now look how alarming this first paragraph is as given to us by the AP…

“Reported hate crimes against Muslims rose in 2015 to their highest levels since those seen in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, according to FBI statistics released Monday.”

With this opening sentence, one might think that thousands of cases of hate crimes have been reported against Muslims across this mean, rotten ‘ol country. If so, the second and third paragraphs doesn’t reassure much.

Civil rights groups had been raising concerns about an anti-Muslim backlash in the U.S. even before the terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, late in the year. The reporting period covers calendar year 2015, but comes at a time of heightened tensions following last week’s presidential election.

There have been reports of racist and anti-religious instances since Tuesday that have sparked outrage, including students at one school who chanted “white power” and a videotaped assault in Chicago that showed black men beating a white man as onlookers screamed, “You voted Trump!” In 2008, after Barack Obama was elected as the nation’s first black president, there were also suspected cases of alleged hate crimes tied to the election.

Ah, you see what they did there. It’s all Trump’s fault, right?

But then AP gets past its partisan and overheated rhetoric to tell us the actual numbers reported by the FBI. And it turns out that the grand total of so-called “hate crimes” against Muslims reported for 2015 was… drum roll, please… 257 incidents.

That’s right in a nation of over 300 million Americans a whopping 257 people claimed to have been victimized because they are Muslims. Two hundred. Fifty Seven.

That isn’t even a measurable percentage of the population. In fact, it’s not just an immeasurable number of the U.S. population it’s not even a measurable number of the 2.75 million member U.S. Muslim population!

Granted the AP is right that the 2015 statistic is a rise of some 67 percent over the 154 Muslims attacked for their religion in 2014. But so what? This number is statistically meaningless either way.

Furthermore, the “crimes” the FBI reported weren’t all violent crimes. Some were graffiti related, others were personal harassment charges, and many were low-end crimes that don’t amount to anything as bad as harm or even death occurring to a Muslim. The AP fails to note that the crimes reported are not all violent.

The AP, though, was looking for sensation, not facts. Let’s face it, when one uses percentages instead of reporting actual numbers, it can always sound worse than it is. After all if one person is hurt in 2014 because he was a Muslim yet three were attacked in 2015 that is a 200 percent increase! And it sure sounds worse to say a “200 percent increase” than to say the number went from one victim to three victims.propaganda machine

The AP does one other disservice with its report on this purported rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes. By not really pointing out that the FBI noted that hate crimes against Jews is many, many times more than those against Muslims, it gives weight to the attacks on Muslims but discounts the much larger number of attacks on Jews.

To be sure, the AP does note the following at the very end of its piece: “Jews and Jewish institutions remain the most frequent target of religious-based hate crimes, representing 53 percent of all those reported. Crimes against Jews increased about 9 percent.”

Still, this sentence doesn’t do the truth any service. While there were 257 crimes against Muslims in 2015, the FBI noted that there were a much larger 664 crimes against Jewish people in the U.S. during the same year. So, in fact, this story about the “alarming rate” of anti-Muslim hate crimes is actually dwarfed by the hate crimes against Jews.

Of course, even at that rate, the 664 hate-crimes against Jews is still practically nil when measured against our population of 318 million people.

So, all we really have in these new reports calling America a racist nation is an alarming headline, puffed up percentage-based statistics instead of hard numbers, and lies in place of solid, logical, and truthful reporting.

Another thing the AP and the rest of the old media establishment are working so hard to ignore is that many of the so-called anti-Muslim hate crimes against Muslims end up being hoaxes. Just in the last few weeks we saw a female Muslim from Louisiana claim she was assaulted, called names, and had her hijab ripped off her head by Trump supporters. Later she admitted she lied about the whole thing. Police are now weighing charges against her.

Then there was the recent case of the fake hate crime reported by The Islamic Center of Fort Pierce in Florida which claimed one of its members was attacked for being Muslim. It was learned shortly after that no such attack ever occurred. The Islamic Center of Fort Pierce was the same Islamic group that the Pulse nightclub killer frequented.

In another case, two teenaged Muslims in New York City claimed they were beaten by a white guy because they were Muslim. It later turned out that the white guy caught them sexually harassing his girlfriend and deservedly smacked them around because of their actions.

There are dozens of stories like these, stories of Muslims making shocking claims of anti-Muslim hate crimes that end up being hoaxes. On the other hand, one never hears stories of hoax attacks on Jews.

Imagine that.
