SHUT THE BORDERS: America Cannot Afford to Take in World’s Poor and Refugees

waving flagBy Dave Jolly May 31, 2016

The Obama administration and other liberal Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, keep telling us that America needs to open its borders to the millions of poor and refugees. They claim that we should be giving them the same opportunities that our ancestors were given when they came to America. Obama says that we should allow tens of thousands of political Muslim refugees into the country as well.

But can American taxpayers – you and me – afford to take in millions more of the poor and refugees?

Last year, I reported that based on 2009 figures, it’s costing US taxpayers $83.8 billion a YEAR just to cover all of the costs incurred by illegal aliens already here.

total-cost-of-illegals

Now consider the fact that the yearly cost to Ohio taxpayers in 2009 was $563 million for 110,000 illegals, amounting to $5,119 per illegal. A 2012 report placed the annual cost for illegals in Ohio at $879 million. That’s an increase of $316 million (56%) in just 2 years under the Obama administration’s failure to enforce federal immigration laws. Those costs include $364 million for K-12 public education, $84 million for medical services (which you and I don’t receive), $81 for welfare, $79 for law enforcement incurred due to illegals, and $32 million for prison costs for the nearly 800 illegals in prison. It’s likely that the annual cost to Ohio taxpayers in 2016 to cover all of the expenses incurred by Obama’s illegals will easily exceed $1 billion. Considering the population of Ohio in 2015 was 11.6 million people, that’s $86 per man, woman and child. An average household of 4 are on the hook for $344 a year to pay for illegals.

In Texas, the yearly cost to taxpayers in 2009 was $6.878 billion for 1,810,000 illegal aliens, amounting to $4,905 per illegal. A newer report states that in 2013, it cost Texas taxpayers $12.1 billion a year to cover the costs of illegals. The same report stated that breaks down to ‘more than $1,197 for every Texas household headed by a native-born or naturalized U.S. citizen.’ How many Texans are aware that they are paying this much each year because of Obama allowing millions of illegals to remain in the US?

In California, the yearly cost to taxpayers in 2009 was $21.755 billion for 2,635,000 illegal aliens, amounting to $8,256 per illegal. The number of illegals in California climbed to over 3 million in 2014 for total taxpayer cost $25.3 billion a year which breaks down to around $2,370 a year for every household headed by a US citizen. That’s nearly $200 per month for illegals. How many Californians are aware that they are being billed $200 a month just to cover the costs of Obama’s illegals?

In New York, the yearly cost to taxpayers in 2009 was $9.479 billion for 750,000 illegal aliens, amounting to $12,638 per illegal.

The same organization that compiled the figures in the chart above, revised them for 2013, stating that the annual cost to US taxpayers was up to $113 billion, or annual increase of 9.73%. That breaks down to $29 billion in federal costs and $84 billion in state and local costs. They also stated:

“The annual outlay that illegal aliens cost U.S. taxpayers is an average amount per native-headed household of $1,117.”

Consider that when you file your federal, state and local taxes each year.destruction

Based upon a 9.73% annual increase in cost for illegals, that would mean for 2016, the cost for illegals would be around $149 billion or $1,476 per native-headed household.

After saying all this, imagine how much it would cost US taxpayers to open our borders to millions more of the world’s poor and political refugees? According to one website:

“Nearly 1/2 of the world’s population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day.

1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty.”

Face it, my heart goes out to these people but there is no way that US taxpayers can pay to take in even 10% of those living in poverty. We are already taxed out and our nation is on the verge of bankruptcy with a national debt of $19.3 trillion. This breaks down to $59,564 per every US citizen. Very few of us can afford to sit down and write a check to the US Treasury for $60,000 per person. Consider a household of 4, their part of the national debt comes to a whopping $238,256. The last thing we need is to be adding any more financial burden on the already breaking backs of American citizens.American women respond

Until our federal, state and local governments get their financial houses in order and learn to live within their means, American needs to enforce our immigration laws and stop the flow of illegals and refugees into our country. Additionally, I believe we need to deport most, if not all, of the illegals already here. They came here illegally and are draining our resources. Just think of the difference it would make to local, state and federal budgets if they were not having to pay out the money listed above to cover the costs of illegals?

The only solution is the shut down our borders stop bringing in the world’s poor and refugees.Picture1

I have and still advocate that we use our military construction units to build a wall along the entire 1,950 miles of southern border and then station our military personnel to protect our border instead of protecting borders in the Middle East. America needs to come first!

Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Democrat’s “War on Prosperity”

Government dependency is what makes the democrat party grow.
Check it out:

We all know that’s the objective. The objective, Obama wants the legalization of the people already here. And there’s no question that this influx of 300,000 since April is designed to put pressure on the system and the Republicans so that they cave and agree to it. Okay, let’s say that happened. Is this influx gonna then stop? It won’t, will it? But even if every illegal alien in the country was automatically granted citizenship, wouldn’t that, in fact, tend to increase the numbers approaching our borders? How in the world would what Obama wants solve this? It wouldn’t. But it doesn’t matter.

The thinking is these are people from war torn, poverty stricken countries, and they’re just seeking a better life, and who are we to deny them? “Anybody coming to my country that wants to improve their life, I say let them come.” That’s the refrain you hear from a lot of Americans. To them it’s a matter of American pride that so many people want to come here to improve their lot in life. But are they? Is that what happens to them? Maybe in comparison to where they’re coming from, perhaps.Jack Kemp

It’s a challenging thing because the Democrats own this whole notion that they are compassionate. And yet it doesn’t compute with me, when you look at the plight. Look at the vast majority Democrat voters, what is compassionate? Jack Kemp had this saying I’ve never forgotten, I’ve always loved it, about conservatives. “We measure compassion by counting the number of people who no longer need assistance, cradle to grave assistance.” That’s the true measure of compassion, that you’ve actually taught people to help themselves, rather than remain trapped in this victim and victimized mentality, which the Democrat Party clearly sponsors and promotes.

But to say something like that is just outrageous. “Why, how dare Mr. Limbaugh say that. That is so insensitive.” That’s how they succeed with this. They characterize any common-sensible analysis as extremism and mean-spirited. It’s just the exact opposite. We want the absolute best for everybody. We want everybody to have the absolute best life possible. And you’re just not gonna get that. You’re just not gonna get that in a country run by the Democrats as they are currently constituted. And I give you as Exhibit A, the country.

Rick Santelli: Tea Party Are Those Who ‘Carry the Water’

Bret BART

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2014/02/23/Rick-Santelli-Unlike-Occupy-Movement-Tea-Party-Powerful-Political-Force-Five-Years-After-Rant-Heard-Around-the-World

by Tony Lee  23 Feb 2014

Five years after his “rant heard around the world” spawned what is now known as the Tea Party movement, CNBC’s Rick Santelli appeared on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 and said the energy from 2009 has created a powerful political movement that has already achieved many tangible results while changing the political landscape.

Speaking to host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, Santelli said the Tea Party movement is a big-tent movement that attracts Americans from all walks of life. He said what is appealing about the movement to him is its emphasis on fiscal responsibility. The size, scope, and reach of government is becoming a bigger political issue and platform, and that, he said, is where the Tea Party will have its most lasting impact.

Unlike the Occupy Movement that fizzled, Santelli argued that the Tea Party has “morphed.” Even though the movement does not have a convention to elect an official leader or spokesperson, the “energy from ’09 has been put to work in a way that has been tangible.”

Calling his impassioned rant the “neatest five minutes” of his career, Santelli said the speech’s legacy was “a bit surprising to me.” He said the country was going through many massive “emotional upheavals” at the time, starting with the financial crisis that he believes started when the government tried to interject itself into the housing market.

He said he was merely venting about issues “that were burning through the country.” He was surprised that the Tea Party movement, composed of those who had been especially frustrated with George W. Bush’s big-government programs and inspired by Sarah Palin in 2008, formed at the grassroots level and then exploded.

He said “mothers and grandmothers worried about the kids and grandkids” started some of the original meetings which turned into what Santelli said was a “conservative fiscal movement that is the cornerstone of the country.”

“We still have it in our DNA to express our will… and the notion that government works for us is forever enshrined and followed through as it’s denoted in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence,” Santelli said, saying he was very proud that his words galvanized Americans.

After Bannon said that Santelli doesn’t come across as someone who is a typical trader or a professor and connects with working people, Santelli said that he was a “very passionate individual,” and “there is never a doubt about whether someone is telling you what’s in their heart or not.”

“I was fed up, and maybe at that point in time I had the same thoughts of many in the country,” Santelli said.

He said he was inspired by hosts on CNBC like Carl Quintanilla who at the time were discussing how the financial crisis and the bailouts were impacting workers on the floor who were trying to pay their bills. Santelli said he believed his words “struck a chord” with Americans because “the way the words were put together” was “not the most politically correct.”

“When things come from the heart sometimes they are a little rough around the edges,” Santelli said. He said he had strong emotions about the bailouts, and that was a moment in which he shared his unfiltered views with many in the country instead of just with friends and family.

During his rant, Santelli spoke about “those that carry the water versus those that drink the water.” Though he admitted that he had no idea where those words came from – because “my brain and my mouth get on automatic pilot” – he really loves that expression now, especially because those who receive excessive government benefits and favors at the top and the bottom squeeze out the middle class.

Santelli said that America is such a compassionate country, filled with so many charitable people, before noting that there is a difference between being charitable and living the right way and having a government that “superimposes what it believes are parameters of charity and priorities of tax collection.”

He blasted Obamacare for giving Americans less incentive to work, which Santelli said goes against what the country has always been about. He passionately noted that “the reasons we’ve done so much in such a short period in history and are the envy of the world… is because we have that work ethic.”

Five years after his “rant heard around the world,” Santelli said too many elected officials still want to “take care of people from cradle to grave by using bureaucratic responses,” and he emphasized that that approach “is not working in Europe.”

Santelli said that the best way to help “the poor or the underprivileged or the handicapped” is through free markets that create surpluses of capital “that can be put to use,” and “a government that can spend what it takes in and prioritizes” the programs on which tax dollars are spent.

“Free markets and capitalism take care of people,” Santelli said. “It isn’t perfect all the time… but the hiccups [mostly occur] when government tries to mold it in different ways.”

Santelli blasted the permanent political class for using emergencies to ram through bailouts by circumventing all of the rules that have defined society because “it is more expedient.” He also slammed politicians who want to raise taxes and collect more fees by promising to spend it on education and roads, saying with all the money that is spent on “education and roads,” Americans should have “super smart kids and be driving on the best roads in the world.”

Unfortunately, Santelli said, politicians spend more on focus groups and buzz words than actual thoughts about the Constitution. He pointed out how Democrats have monopolized politics in places like California and Detroit that have been failing, but politicians continue to throw more money at the same problems, cover up failures, and paper over them like “wallpaper over termites.”

“You can’t try to do everything for everybody because you end up doing nothing for anybody,” Santelli said.

He also dismissed critics that say the Tea Party is not a powerful force because it represents about a third of the population.

“A third of the population in five years gives me goosebumps,” he said. “There is something going on in this country.”

He said the voices for fiscal conservatism are growing and the Tea Party movement can bring about an America “that we kind of long for, that all of a sudden that has all of this change, much of it outside of the rules that had guided us so well.”

He urged people to always “kick the tires” on the politicians and the policies they sell, and emphatically noted that politicians should always know that the “people put them there and the people can take them away.”

As Breitbart News has reported, Tea Party leaders will hold a massive conference in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the five-year anniversary of the movement. Those like Breitbart’s Michael Patrick Leahy organized the original conference call after Santelli’s speech that formed the modern Tea Party movement and led to the creation of groups like the Tea Party Patriots, which will sponsor the conference. Mark Levin will keynote the conference on February 27 while Sean Hannity will deliver a capstone speech. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT), two of the most beloved politicians among Tea Party conservatives, will also speak at the event.

Homeless Mom Sent to Jail for Sending Her Kid to a Good School

http://eaglerising.com/2794/homeless-mom-sent-jail-sending-kid-good-school/#UcCtJj0vlJ5Q3BO2.99

By

As a parent of three wonderful children, one of my greatest concerns is making sure that they are educated well. I want my children to enjoy the best education that I can afford to give them, and the most opportunities that might come along with that education. It’s not just me, either. Every parent I know and have had this discussion with says the same thing – they want to make sure their children get the best education they can possibly get.

Many of us take that idea for granted.

Many of us live in suburban areas where good schools (or at least acceptable schools) are the norm. Many of us have the means to ensure that our children can attend a school that is doing its job to educate, while also keeping our children as safe as possible. Many of us have the ability to find an alternate solution to our kid’s school if we have to.

Some parents do not have these blessings.

Some parents are forced to send their children to failing schools with dangerous problems.

Parents like Tonya McDowell. The 34-year-old, who was homeless when she was charged with felony larceny last year, said she wanted the best education possible for the boy.

Ms. McDowell is no saint. She was also convicted of selling drugs and has had other run-ins with the law, but that’s not really the point, is it?

momschoolMs. McDowell will now spend the next five years in prison for “stealing” about $15K in “free” services from the city of Norwalk, CT. How one steals “free” services is still up for debate. What is not up for debate is the ridiculous punishment for attempting to get her child the best education she could. All over the United States millions of children of illegal aliens are provided with a free education every day, and none of their parents face prison.

Ms. McDowell and her son were homeless at the time of her arrest, but her last address had been in Bridgeport, CT. Authorities say she fraudulently listed the home of her child’s sitter as her own to enroll her son in the Norwalk, CT elementary school that he attended. Ms. McDowell says that she was living in Norwalk on a part-time basis because they were using the town’s homeless shelter as a residence.

Stories like this one are where the liberal’s cries of “fighting poverty” fall short. As conservatives we advocate for school choice, which would allow poor families like Ms. McDowell’s to enroll in the best schools they can find access to. Liberals fight to keep these families in failing schools, which simply perpetuates the cycle of poverty. Why are liberals so against giving the poor a way out of poverty? It’s simply disgusting.

No matter the reason, the prosecution of Ms. McDowell for trying to give her son a better education is a complete miscarriage of justice and a waste of taxpayer dollars. The good people of Connecticut likely spent more prosecuting her for her “crime” than they did in educating her son. Now her son will be without his mom for at least the next five years, all because she wanted him to have a chance to get out of poverty.

Give the poor hope – give them school choice!

Democrats Rule of Thumb: You Hate “Poor People” If You Want them to be Financially Independent

By / http://girlsjustwannahaveguns.com/2013/08/democrats-rule-of-thumb-you-hate-poor-people-if-you-want-them-to-be-financially-independent/

thumbSo it’s time for me to be accused of “hating poor people.” Every time anyone speaks out about changing current practices, the liberals whine that we hate people. I don’t hate people, but I sure hate a government that “trains” people to become dependent. So why do liberals and Democrats scream that we hate poor people every time we start talking about getting away from government dependence?

It’s not because they are concerned about the poor – it’s because it threatens THEIR political futures. They have to attack the messenger in order to get dependent people and independent thinkers from listening to our words because it might make them actually THINK and they may actually realize who is really making their lives hard.

Many people, myself included, have needed help at one time or another in their lives to make it through financially. Several years ago, this kind of help was temporary, to make it through a rough time. Help was never intended to be full-time income. Somehow that has changed.

Our government has manipulated and bullied Americans into more and more taxes in order to “help” people. Most people give to their favorite charity but that’s not good enough for our government because they need Americans to be dependent in order to assure their own continued re-election. In my opinion, that’s the two choices of why this has happened – either we blame the poor for adopting the entitlement attitude or we blame government for deliberating training people to be dependent.

My vote goes to blaming the government. People simply respond in a way that best provides for their needs. And I believe our government knows, understands, and deliberately uses that in order to train people so that the politicians can meet their own selfish desires. “Poor” people are simply pawns in their game.

So let’s talk about what all people can get from government programs as well as charities:

1.      Free breakfasts

2.      Free lunches

3.      Food stamp card

4.      Medical coverage

5.      Pregnancy assistance

6.      Family planning

7.      Free cell phone

8.      Low-cost internet

9.      Free computers

10.  Energy assistance

11.  Housing rental assistance

12.  Free school supplies

13.  Free school clothes

14.  WIC (Women, Infants, and Children program – more food)

15.  Free summer meals at local schools.

16.  Free preschool (Head Start, ECEAP, Early Head Start)

17.  Reduced child care costs

18.  College tuition assistance

19.  Thanksgiving dinner (provided by charities)

20.  Adopted by a family at Christmas (provided by charities) – everything provided, from presents to meals

They also get discounts on many other activities because if they qualify for free/reduced lunches they qualify for many other things to be covered or offered at a reduced price.

Yet our government berates us for not doing more, not wanting to give more of our hard-earned money through higher taxes. We aren’t giving our “fair share.” This isn’t enough? What exactly should people spend their “own” money on?

As we seem to be moving towards a part-time workforce because of Obamacare, if so many people are eligible to receive all these free or reduced price things, does anyone really think they would be willing to go back to work full time if they lost all of the freebies? Many working-poor people already have a tough time deciding to even accept a small raise because that raise will cost them more in what they will lose than in what they will gain from a raise. Is that really the kind of society we want or can even afford?

Many of us boomers are retiring or getting ready to retire. With fewer younger people working full-time jobs or working at all, who is going to be left to work and provide the freebies? If we don’t reduce the freebies now, we will quickly run out of money and there will be NO help for anyone who needs it in the future.

We ALL, including and especially low-income people, have to stand up and refuse to allow ourselves to be trained. We must stop buying into politician’s manipulations of our emotions and blackmailing us with name-calling in order to fund their own continued political aspirations.

So while liberals like to say Republicans want to drag America back to Jim Crow days, blah, blah, blah, it is the Democrats who want to drag everyone back to the Depression days where everyone was on their own and there was no help at all – because that’s right where they’re leading us.

THANKS A LOT SANDY

The aftermath of Sandy defies description.

  • Three feet of Snow in West Virginia;
  • Several inches of sand covering everything several miles inland in New Jersey;
  • The front of a building in New York City completely blown off;
  • A wind-blown fire wiping out 80 homes;
  • Millions of people without power, safe drinking water and uncertain sewers;
  • Transportation interrupted, especially flights.

I have prayed, and I hope you have been too, for the victims of this historic storm. Such devastation boggles the mind and the cost of recovery will be staggering, especially because we’re broke as a nation.

However, Americans have always rallied behind our fellow citizens who are suffering and in need. We will respond again. Already all the forces of good and caring are at work meeting needs and bring comfort. No, I am not including the government.

I have no doubt that needs will be met, rebuilding will happen and “normal” will one day be reestablished. However, I am extremely concerned about a disaster no one is talking about, and “normal” may never be realized again has a result of that disaster. I am referring to the Presidential Election coming up next Tuesday. The storm has opened wider that opportunity for Leftist voting shenanigans.

With all the arguments over Voter Registration, Voter I.D. and Voter Fraud, this natural disaster has provided and added opportunity to make the corrupt more powerful. Consider the national debate;

  • The Left opposes Voter I.D. because they curry the favor of people who are here illegally. I.D.s exposes the fraud.
  • In Florida, over 50,000 people that are on the voting registration rolls are deceased. How many do you think will rise from the dead and vote?
  • The introduction of early voting has given the Left more time to encourage fraud by multiple votes from some people.
  • The Left has already manipulated the Military Vote into nonexistence because they know the Military votes predominately Republican.
  • California has already announced they will not be counting the mailed in ballots, as they did in 2008, because they claim it won’t make a difference in the outcome.
  • The U.N. has been invited again to “observe” our voting because the U.N. has been told that Republicans repress the vote in certain areas prohibiting poor and elderly people from voting.
  • With the power off, some areas will have to go to paper ballots opening the doors for screams of voting irregularity should the Left loose. Yes, it has been reported that the lawsuits have already been drawn up and ready for filing should Mitt Romney win. You’ve also heard how the Left has already arranged riots in strategic areas should Mitt Romney win. That will open the door for Marshall Law to be established, and the election deemed null and void.
  • Like in California, the Registrar of Voters has admitted that many citizens are registered in multiple cities and can’t do anything about that person from voting in each location.
  • There is no way to determine the number of illegal votes in the States that have not passed Voter I.D. laws.
  • Like I said, opened doors more even more voting shenanigans, especially should the election be extended because of Sandy’s destruction.

For conservatives in California elections are becoming a farce. For over 50 years the Left files lawsuits if measures don’t go their way. The courts are so corrupt and Left, that most of the time the Left wins. More and more I hear people say, “Why vote when the Democrats go to court and get the election overturned.” And here the Left is the one always screaming about voter repression. California leads the nation in voter repression because the Left always wins in court when we do not vote their way.

For my house and me, we will vote. We refuse to give up. The drums of revolutionary war are getting louder every day. Will we see a revolution in our day? I’m not sure anymore. I am not armed, and that worries me.

Hopefully God is hearing our prayers asking Him to forgive our sins and heal our land. However, our nation has reached levels of inequity that dwarfs Biblical Israel. They were rightly judged for their turn from God. America deserves the same. Is there a remnant of believers big enough for God to withhold His hand? I don’t know. I am praying He heals instead of punishes. What are you praying for?

Silence is NOT an Option

Christians, Silence is Not an Option

By / 12 August 2012 / 35 Comments

by Matt Barber

With the exception of one column previously penned, I pray this becomes my most widely read to date.

The secular left has mastered use of the Internet to further its extremist goals. In fact, President Obama’s web-based “Organizing for America” propaganda machine may have given him the 2008 election.

Let’s beat them at their own game.

To that end, I have a strange request. I’m asking each God-fearing, freedom-loving American who reads this column to forward it, post it, tweet it, print it out and give it to every pastor, priest or cleric you know. If you don’t know any, give it to someone who does.

Why? I agree with Barack Obama that November 2012 represents the most important election of our lifetimes – perhaps our history. Of course, that’s where my agreement with Mr. Obama both begins and abruptly ends.

Here’s the operable question: Do we want America “fundamentally transformed” to mirror the secular-socialist ideals of the radical leftist currently “occupying” the White House?

In Barack Obama’s America, individual freedom is trampled beneath jackboots as a matter of course. It’s already happening at an unprecedented rate.

One need only look to the HHS mandate forcing Christian groups – both Catholic and Protestant – to violate, under penalty of law, biblical prohibitions against abortion homicide.

Or consider recent attempts by multiple elected officials, all Democrats, to shutdown Chick-fil-A – a private, Christian-owned business – simply because its leadership holds the biblical view of marriage.

Is this George Washington’s America, or Joseph Stalin’s Russia?

It’s definitely not your father’s USA.

Instead, wouldn’t we prefer the America envisioned by our Founding Fathers? A constitutional republic wherein individual liberty – whether economic, First Amendment or Second Amendment-related – is sacrosanct and off limits?

Pastors, you’re it. You’re our front line of defense. It’s up to you to rally the troops. Now begins the second American Revolution and, as with the first, it’s on you – men of the cloth – to take the lead.

That is, if you hope to remain free to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Speaking of chicken: In recent years there’s been an epidemic of cultural inaction exhibited by far too many ministers of the gospel. It’s fear-based. “Oh, I don’t talk about political issues,” they say. “You know, ‘separation of Church and State’ and all that.”

Baloney.

If this is you – and only you and our Lord know for sure – you’ve been deceived by the enemies of God. You’ve chosen the easy way out – the path of least resistance. This is something Christ, whom all Christians are called to emulate, never did – not once.

So, respectfully, man-up, Padre! Be the “salt and light of the world,” as Christ so admonished.

But you don’t have to go it alone. There are detailed, easily digestible tools available. Civil-rights firm Liberty Counsel, for instance, is distributing more than 100,000 copies of “Silence is Not an Option,” a concise, though comprehensive, DVD and printed material collection informing pastors and churches about what is permissible regarding political activity (Please, get it for your church at LC.org or by calling 1-800-671-1776).

“The church must be empowered to confront the assaults on our culture, our faith, and our freedom,” said Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. ”I don’t want any pastor, church leader or lay person to say, ‘What more could I have done to protect life and liberty?’”

“Silencing people of faith in the public square has always been the goal of those who realize the influence that pastors, churches and people of faith have on elections. I want pastors to remove the muzzle and replace it with a megaphone,” he said. “Pastors and churches have a lot of freedom to address biblical and moral issues, to educate people about the candidates, and to encourage people to vote. Not one church has ever lost its tax-exemption for endorsing or opposing candidates or for supporting or opposing local, state or federal laws.”

Did you get that? Despite hundreds of thousands of threatening letters sent by hard-left groups like the ACLU and Barry Lynn’s Americans United, not a single church has lost tax-exemption for socio-political activity – zip, zero, nada. Not even for endorsing candidates from the pulpit.

Indeed, if these anti-Christian bullies had been around two-and-a-half centuries ago, and our forefathers had paid them any mind, we may never have had the first American Revolution.

Don’t let them halt the second.

We’re on the precipice of the abyss, and, pastors, I think you know it. But know this too: There’s a whole lot relating to both culture and politics you can both say and do, and very little – if anything – you can’t.

Churches can educate about political, moral and biblical issues. These kinds of issues – whether abortion, marriage, feeding the poor or any community issue – are never off limits from the pastor’s pulpit, even if politicians are also talking about them. “Silence is Not an Option” systematically addresses the misrepresentations used to muzzle America’s pastors and Christian leaders.

Leading up to Ronald Reagan’s landslide presidential victory in 1980, Rev. Jerry Falwell captured the crux of the church’s apathy problem: “What is wrong in America today?” he asked. “We preachers – and there are 340,000 of us who pastor churches – we hold the nation in our hand. And I say this to every preacher: We are going to stand accountable before God if we do not stand up and be counted.”

Dr. Falwell’s words ring no less true today.

Imagine the benefit to our culture if thousands of churches across America registered millions of Christians to vote. How about pledge-drives wherein pastors ask tens-of-millions of Christians to simply commit to voting biblical values?
The possibilities are limitless.

Proverbs 4:18 reminds us: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

Shine bright, salt and light. Don’t be choked into dark silence.

Because silence is not an option.

It can’t be.

PROOF OF IGNORANCE DEBATE

The rhetoric of the Left during the President Reagan years is back. Today the Left fills the news airwaves with new, “Talking Points”. During the Reaganomics years, the primary talking points of the Left used the term, “trickle down economics.” Of course, the Left was wrong, because Reaganomics gave us great economic growth and stability through the President Clinton years. Now, the new slogans used include the terms, “No more trickledown economics, but Middle Out economics.” This is supposed to refer to economics that originate with the middle class and moving out into the marketplace benefiting everyone.

You really do not need an economic degree to see that does not work. The Left whines about billionaires and millionaires getting the tax breaks from what conservatives propose. What they fail to mention, is that the group of people conservatives want to protect and empower are the Small Business people, and the Self-Employed. These two groups of business people are responsible for a large majority of the business world in America. These are also the group affected the most with tax increases, regulations, and OBAMACARE. The Top 1% of income earners has the least amount of effect on the economy, and yet pays a large sum of the taxes collected every year.

The Left’s professional pundits and “Pot Stirrers” want their voting base to concentrate on anyone that generates wealth. According to them, such people are evil and want to keep the poor oppressed. However, their argument fails with the Independents who are the swing vote. They know that such an argument is ridicules and not worth a second thought. That begs the question, why do they keep up the same old attack, arguments and talking points? I believe they only want to “Stir the Pot” of their voter base hoping they will be motivated to get out and vote on Election Day.

The reality of the Free Market Economy is simple. Let the market drive itself, get out the way with overt regulations, and allow the market to correct itself and weed out the greedy, the Swindler, and the fraud. More people are hired, creating more taxpayers, producing more revenue into the Federal and State coffers. That enables American business to do what they do best, and the economy takes care of itself. Creating government jobs and “stimulating” the economy has never had long-term effects.

The Left has a serious problem ever admitting they are wrong and have made bad decisions. They have equally hard time admitting that any of their plans have failed and caused great national harm. For example; The Left will never admit that their strangle hold on American business has been the reason American business, especially manufacturing, has been moved to other countries. Any of these business people will tell you that staying here would have meant bankruptcy and the business closure. It is not because of greed, it is because of survival. In reality, the Left is directly responsible for driving American jobs away and into the economies of other countries. Remember the definition of insanity?

The faster we get these socialist loving people out of our government the sooner our country can recover, if it’s not too late.

MORE GIBBERISH FROM THE LEFT

Today was another example of the Left filling the news with gibberish, this dictating the conversation away from the miserable conditions of the market place and the economy. Here are a few examples;

1.) Now the Food Police wants to ban large tubs of popcorn at the movies. After the craze over the 64 ounce drinks, they thought it important to also control our lives with this restriction. With all the really important issues this country has to correct, they want us to concentrate on tubs of popcorn. What ever happened to self-responsibility? What are we asked to focus on the minors and take away the focus on the major issues facing this country? (Rhetorical question)

2.) This morning on the Meygn Kelley  show a pundit from the Left criticized Mitt Romney for not being specific on his claims that he has plans on how to fix the economy. WHAT DID YOU SAY? How specific was Candidate Obama on the 2008 campaign trail about “Hope and Change”? Has there ever been a campaign filled with more generalities? Has any candidate for President ever been so vague that he left it up to each individual to decide what his campaign rhetoric meant?

3.) Prior to President Obama’s speech in Ohio today, his campaign team released a message saying that the President would not be giving any specifics today on his plans, but would be “boxing” them, meaning, he would be generalist in his speech just like Mitt Romney was accused of being in his speech today in Ohio. “Hey Left, WE ARE NOT THE STUPID IDIOTS YOU MAKE US OUT TO BE!”

4.) It is now obvious that one of the campaign slogans President Obama is going to use this time is, “Everyone deserves a ‘Fair Shot’”. He usually quotes that after he makes a reference of the “rich” (still undefined who these rich people are) getting a tax break from President Bush (no longer running for anything). Still undefined is what he means by “Fair Shot”.

As far as I know, every one drawing breath in the United States has a “fair shot” at success. How you define success is not the subject, unless you are talking to one of the “OCCUPIERS” who measure success as entering the corporate world as a major executive making over $100,000 a year. Anyone starting out with that mindset, as well as many others that are unrealistic, will fail at their efforts. That is not the result of conservatives, or the “rich” making it impossible for someone to elevate their work, or economic status. It is just the way it is and always will be, unless we socialize everything.

However, the Left has made it more difficult for some. They are part of the Underclass the Left created as a guaranteed voting alliance. They consist of the poor, and anyone else receiving assistance from the Federal government (like many illegals that are “on the dole”). Trying to make something of yourself and going to work means, you lose the handout. For most, they would rather do nothing, collect the Welfare, and complain that they do not have more. As Stuart Barney said this morning, we are reaching the point in America where those you are not paying taxes exceed those that do pay taxes (we are at 50% now because of the unemployment crisis). Can you say “Bankruptcy”?

The conservative voice would have been silenced a long time ago, without FOX Cable and radio talk shows, The Left will continue to drown out our voice and work overtime to silence us completely. Please join in the fight to prohibit that from happening.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Have you ever heard this statement by Thomas Jefferson?

“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well-informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. …

And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two?

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

Is this what the Left want? Their Professional Pot Stirrers have been very busy keeping their ideologically created voter base (African-Americans, the Poor, all those on assistance, the illegal immigrants, Unions and their members and the “brain-washed” unemployed college graduate) boiling and the “pot” is about to boil over. Notice how angry they are and how violent. Could what Thomas Jefferson said being brought about before our very eyes?
According to the New Black Panther Party, this is exactly what they forecast, and intend. Their own words, before national media cameras said that blood will run in the streets and gutters. Their appearance and presentation is that of like a militia, or Para-military. We know how Islam terrorist feel about us and their determination to wipe us out and tune this country into a Sharia Law nation. The “Occupiers” have demonstrated their violent methods and determination to change our Representative Republic into a European Style Socialist government. Add the “Gimmie” crowd, and those wanting a racial uprising, and you understand why you are hearing the drums of war louder everyday.
Without God sending a genuine Holy Spirit revival, the blood will run in the streets like water. What are you praying about?

OPEN LETTER TO ALL VENTURE CAPITAL COMPANIES IN THE UNITED STATES

Because the President Obama Administration, along with the Democratic Party and their willing media partners, have labeled all of you as “VULTURE” Capitalist, and because they have demonized what you do, lied about how you function and dehumanized the profession as being thieves taking from the poor and giving it to the rich, I propose the following:

  • Immediately stop all work with companies you are trying to save who are in States Governed by Democrats, especially those that have joined the bandwagon to bad-mouth all of you.
  • Go immediately into States governed by conservatives who appreciate all the companies you save, and therefore, all the jobs that are associated with those companies.
  • Look into Canada. They will welcome you with open arms.
  • Look into other countries who are going bankrupt. They will appreciate all the taxes you generate when you save companies and make the prosper.
  • As you leave each Democrat State, let the government know that they can be expecting more unemployment because you are taking your own money to States that are governed by those that understand what you do, and what you have to do in certain cases to save a company the their employees. Also let them know that because you are leaving, their tax revenues will drop dramatically.
  • Let the employees of those companies you are leaving to the Democratic Government that President Obama and the entire Democratic party feels their pain as they stand in line for unemployment.

That should make everyone happy because the Democratic governance can be free of you and your “vulture capitalism”. It will give them an opportunity to lie about something else.

Another Cultural War Alert

They are at it again. Now it is Vice President Biden saying that his parents could dream great things for their children just like a rich man. According to the Vice President and other Left Wing spokes people;

  • Conservatives hate poor people.
  • Conservatives want to make the poor, poorer and the rich, richer.
  • Conservatives want to take from what the poor have and give it to the rich.
  • Conservatives do not care about the poor and only care about the rich.

These statements are ridiculous, unless you are a “cool-aid” drinker from the Left. No person who can actually think for themselves would put any value to such crazy claims. Understanding that they are saying such things to further gin up their voting base, and “stir the pot” so that more hatred is produced, and more envy.

I am very upset that those in the media who claim to be fair and balanced would ask a couple of very important follow-up questions:

  • “Mr. Biden. When you talk about the rich, what rich people are you talking about?
    • How about the Wall Street tycoons who gave you money in 2008 helping get you and President Obama elected?
    • How about professional athletes?
    • How about Hollywood?
    • How about all the Democrat Senators and Congress People who are millionaires and constantly vote themselves exclusions from the tax laws the rest of America is supposed to abide by?
    • How about all the foreign investors that give to the Super Packs?”

Who are the rich people the Left is demonizing? I would like to see one interviewer have the courage to actually ask that question and not let them go until they answer.

Have you also noticed that President Obama has done a great job NOT creating new wealthy people, except of course those contractors The President’s head of the GSA have awarded.

Do they really want riots in the street? Do they really want to create such hatred for 30% of our population who are actually employing those the Left are ginning up to hate? The Left has been very successful at creating their primary voting base; the 50% of Americans and illegals, who never pay any Federal Income Tax. According to the Left, the rest of us want to take away what they have and give it to ourselves.

No, I do not want anything they have. Instead, I support the following ideas;

  • All those that are on any form of Welfare immediate become employees of the State they live in. Take what they get in benefits divide by Minimum Wage. They owe those hours to the State.
  • Put them to work cleaning up the graffiti, clearing sewage lines, cutting firebreaks in the hills and mountains, keeping skid row clean, clean along the rail road tracks and all the other jobs that are not getting done now.
  • Treat them like any State employee. Screw up, and you are fired. No more freebies.

Let me know what you think.
