Homan spoke at a news conference to discuss end-of-the-year reports issued by the federal government’s immigration agencies. U.S. Border Patrol officials detailed figures showing a five-year low in illegal border crossings.
The total number of removals for the fiscal year year that ended Sept. 30, 226,199, was down from 240,225 the year before. But ICE arrests in the interior of the country increased 25 percent, from 65,332 to 81,603. The increase in the period since Trump has been president is 37 percent.
As a share of all removals, those from the interior increased from from 27 percent to 36 percent.
The number of people arrested solely for immigration violations increased 40 percent to 143,470 in fiscal year 2017. Homan said 110,568 of those arrests occurred after Trump took office. Of those arrested, 32,958 had criminal records. ICE officers also apprehended 4,818 gang members — including 796 from the notoriously violent MS-13 gang — and also seized 2,370 pounds of fentanyl and more than 7,000 pounds of heroin.
Homan praised ICE’s work, which he noted occurred against a backdrop of hundreds of jurisdictions that have adopted “sanctuary” policies dictating varying levels of non-cooperation with federal immigration authorities.
Homan called on Congress to give his officers more resources to do their jobs and to “address misguided loopholes” that make their jobs harder.
“While we have made great progress and achieved a great deal this year, we understand there is much to be done,” he said.
Homan touted other areas of immigration enforcement. He said the number of countries labeled as not cooperating in taking back their citizens who are in U.S. deportation proceedings has declined from 24 to 12 — and now nine. He said the number of countries in danger of such a designation also declined — from 47 to 36.

Reported by Kevin Daley | Supreme Court Reporter | 12:17 PM 12/05/2017A majority of the U.S. Supreme Court appeared sympathetic Tuesday with a Christian baker from Colorado who declined to create a custom wedding cake for an LGBT couple.
Several justices expressed concerns about the integrity of civil rights and public accommodations laws, and the Court generally struggled with the proposition that Phillips has a speech interest in his custom cakes. But Justice Anthony Kennedy and the conservative justices expressed concern about government hostility to religious believers, signaling a potential victory for the baker.
The case was occasioned when David Mullins and Charlie Craig, a gay couple, entered Jack Phillips’ Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colo. After a short discussion with the prospective patrons, Phillips said he would not sell them a custom wedding cake due to his deeply-held religious beliefs. Mullins and Craig filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, prompting a lengthy legal battle culminating in an appeal to the high court.
Phillips says he has sold baked goods to LGBT persons in the past, and that he would similarly sell generic baked goods — including cakes — to Mullins and Craig. He refuses, however, to create a custom cake conveying a message respecting their nuptials, and argues the state cannot compel him to create speech with which he disagrees.
During Tuesday’s argument, several justices expressed concern about the line Phillips asked them to draw. Assuming that a cake is in fact speech, Justice Elena Kagan wondered which other proprietors could also decline to provide services for a same sex wedding. Kagan used the example of a makeup artist or a hairstylist, professionals who uses a highly-specialized skill set to create beauty. Kristen Waggoner, the lawyer representing Phillips, replied that hair and makeup is not expressive.
Kagan later expressed incredulity when Waggoner said a baker creates protected expression, but a chef does not.
Attempting to extricate her from Kagan’s withering hypotheticals, Justice Samuel Alito asked if architecture could be considered speech. Waggoner said no, since architecture is primarily functional. Justice Stephen Breyer noted it would be odd indeed if a cake was considered speech, but an architectural masterpiece by Mies or Michelangelo was not.
Breyer added that a poorly-tailored free-speech exemption for religious dissenters could compromise public accommodation laws, which require businesses to treat all customers equally.
“The reason we’re asking these questions is because obviously we want some kind of distinction that will not undermine every civil rights law from the year two,” he said.
Kagan revived her line of questioned when Solicitor General Noel Francisco stood to argue on behalf of the federal government, which supports Phillips. She asked if a renown chef at a tony restaurant could refuse service to a gay couple celebrating their wedding anniversary. Like Waggoner, Francisco said a chef’s work is not protected speech, since it is a generic, uncustomized product.
“So the baker is speech, but the great chef who is like ‘everything is perfect on the plate and it’s a work of art, it’s a masterpiece’ [isn’t]?” she said.
“My colleagues, I think, go to more elite restaurants than I do,” Alito quipped, to laughter.
All told, the Court struggled to navigate Phillips’ free speech argument. In something of a role reversal, Breyer appeared decidedly sympathetic to the baker’s religious convictions, while Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Neil Gorsuch acknowledged a ruling in his favor might create chaos in civil rights law. All nine justices appeared unable to find a sufficient remedy on free speech grounds.
The Court seemed less divided over the Commission’s conduct in adjudicating the matter. Kennedy suggested that Colorado has not been tolerant of Phillips’ religious beliefs while handling this controversy. At one juncture, he asked Colorado Solicitor General Frederick Yarger to disavow statements made by commissioners during a hearing, which suggest hostility to orthodox religion.
One statement, which he read in part from the bench, said religion has been used to justify slavery and the Holocaust.
“[R]eligion has been used to justify all kinds of discrimination throughout history, whether it be slavery, whether it be the holocaust,” one commissioner said. “We can list hundreds of situations where freedom of religion has been used to justify discrimination. And to me it is one of the most despicable pieces of rhetoric that people can use.”
“Tolerance is essential in a free society,” Kennedy said. “And tolerance is most meaningful when it’s mutual. It seems to me that the state in its position here has been neither tolerant nor respectful of Mr. Phillips’ religious beliefs.”
Seizing on this point, Alito claimed the Commission has not treated similarly-situated bakers equally. In a 2014 case, the Commission found that a Denver-area bakery which refused to create cakes promoting traditional marriage did not discriminate against a patron’s Christian religious beliefs. This, he said, was evidence that the Commission does not fairly enforce anti-discrimination law.
Roberts elsewhere feared that anti-discrimination laws like Colorado’s could be weaponized against religious groups. He asked Yarger if the state could force a religious pro-bono law group like Catholic Legal Services to represent a gay couple in a lawsuit relating to their wedding plans. After a lengthy exchange, Yarger said they could.
At the argument’s conclusion, it appeared possible that the Court will side with Phillips given the Commission’s alleged failure to enforce anti-discrimination law fairly, while avoiding a sweeping decision about the rights of religious dissenters.
The case, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, will be decided by June 2018.
Reported by Jim Stinson | Updated 05 Dec 2017 at 6:52 AMFBI agent Peter Strzok changed the wording in Comey’s assessment from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless,” a key change in legal terms that softened the case against Clinton. Strzok also helped open the counterintelligence investigation into President Donald Trump’s campaign, to examine possible ties to Russian hackers. Strzok was found by the Office of Special Counsel to have mocked Trump, in text messages, during the 2016 presidential campaign.
In July, Strzok was removed to other duties, away from Robert Mueller’s investigation, after the FBI inspector general found out about the text messages. The news about Strzok’s removal, to a position in FBI human resources, was disclosed on Saturday in The New York Times.
Strzok was present during the questioning of Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser, according to reports, raising the issue of bias in the investigation into the Trump administration.
“He should have recused himself,” said Dershowitz, speaking to Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “And I think he should be severely punished … He knew he had a bias.”
Ingraham noted the Democrats would be going bananas if an FBI agent with an anti-Democratic bias had been looking into Hillary Clinton.
On the issue of Flynn, Dershowitz, the longtime civil rights attorney, said presidents can discuss pardons, fire people and do other things that special prosecutors believe obstruct justice.
“In order to be charged with obstruction of justice, you have to go beyond simply exercising a presidential prerogative under Article II of the Constitution,” said Dershowitz on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday. “If you bribe or take a bribe, if you destroy evidence and do what Nixon did, which is pay hush money or tell your subordinates to lie, of course you can be charged with obstruction of justice.”
Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton were both charged with obstruction of justice, Dershowitz pointed out.
“But you cannot be and should not be charged with obstruction of justice if you merely pardon people,” he added. “You merely fire people even if the prosecution believes your intentions are not good. That’s what George H.W. Bush did. He pardoned Caspar Weinberger and five other people. The special prosecutor said the intent was to stop the investigation of Iran-Contra. It succeeded. And nobody suggested that President Bush be charged.”
Democrats have revived criticism of President Trump for reportedly telling former FBI Director James Comey that he hoped the agency could pass on charging Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser. Flynn resigned on February 13 after less than a month in office because he misled Vice President Mike Pence on a phone call a year ago with the Russian ambassador.
“No president in history has ever been charged for any crime or anything because he exercised his constitutional prerogative.”
Flynn made the phone call during the presidential transition. But his call was recorded and leaked, and the FBI asked Flynn about it on January 24. On Friday, Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of misleading the FBI on the matter.
Dershowitz said Trump has the right to discuss the case with the FBI director. Comey’s replacement would later testify to Congress that the agency has not been obstructed in the Russian investigation.
“He can’t be charged with obstruction merely for exercising his constitutional prerogatives,” said Dershowitz. “That’s an important distinction. No president in history has ever been charged for any crime or anything because he exercised his constitutional prerogative. They impeached President Andrew Johnson for doing that. And the Supreme Court ultimately ruled that that was absolutely wrong. The president had the authority to fire the secretary of the Army. He was impeached for that and wrongly impeached.”

“The families and communities of Utah know and love this land the best, and you know the best how to take care of your land,” Trump said during a visit to Utah. “You know how to protect it, and you know best how to conserve this land for many, many generations to come.”
Trump took the unusual step of shrinking the amount of land protected by the Antiquities Act, despite an outcry from leftist environmental groups.
“I’ve come to Utah to take a very historic action to reverse federal overreach and restore the rights of this land to your citizens,” Trump said during the event, which included Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, Utah Senators Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee, as well as Governor Gary Herbert.
Obama designated 1.35 million acres of land to serve as the Bears Ears National Monument right before he left office in 2016. Clinton designated 1.9 million acres in Utah as the Grand Staircase-Escalante monument. Both monuments were reduced after Secretary Zinke conducted a study of both monuments.
The president reminded the audience that the Antiquities’ Act required a president to protect the “smallest necessary area” for conservation. He commented that previous administrations “severely abused” their powers under the Antiquities Act to lock up millions of acres of land and water under federal control.
“With the action I’m taking today, we will not only give back your voice over the use of this land, we will also restore your access and your enjoyment,” Trump said.

The orders come in response to filings by the Department of Justice Friday, asking the Supreme Court to stay the preliminary injunctions in the two main travel ban cases, Hawaii v. Trump in the Ninth Circuit and International Refugee Assistance Project v. Trump in the Fourth Circuit. These cases have been proceeding up and down the federal court system for months.
The district courts, especially that of Barack Obama-appointed District of Hawaii Judge Derrick Watson, have repeatedly ruled that the bans must be blocked from going into effect or must, in the interim, be interpreted in such a way as to have little effect on the list of mostly Muslim majority countries from which travel is prohibited under the orders.
The petitions in the two cases were made to Justice Anthony Kennedy and Chief Justice John Roberts respectively. Only Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor declined to sign on to the orders staying the Fourth and Ninth Circuits.
“This a substantial victory for the safety and security of the American people,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in statement after the orders were announced.
He continued:
We are pleased to have defended this order and heartened that a clear majority Supreme Court has allowed the President’s lawful proclamation protecting our country’s national security to go into full effect. The Constitution gives the President the responsibility and power to protect this country from all threats foreign and domestic, and this order remains vital to accomplishing those goals.
With the order, the third – permanent – version of the travel ban, promulgated in September after an interagency review of the dangers posed by the different countries included, will go back into effect while the case on the merits works its way through the court system. The Supreme Court had dismissed the earlier lawsuits based on the earlier, temporary versions of the ban because they had expired.
The government, represented by Solicitor General Noel Francisco, asked the justices to re-instate the ban based in part on the findings of the review, which provided new security-based justifications for the inclusion of Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen and, he argues, turns the likelihood of success against the plaintiffs.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Mohammed Ali Mohammed raped the women and robbed them at knifepoint on consecutive nights in Salt Lake City back in 2011.
Mohammed, now 20, did plead guilty to rape, sexual assault and kidnapping in 2012.
Mohammed attacked one woman outside her home, and the next night, broke into another woman’s home and raped her before demanding she drive him to an ATM and withdraw cash.
However, on Monday, Mohammed received probation and learned he would not have to spend any time in an adult prison. Mohammed had spent six years in a youth detention facility, although the victims had pleaded with the court to try Mohammed as an adult in the case. Before the decision was made, Mohammed admitted his guilt in court.
“I was a monster,” he said.
“I didn’t know what I was thinking. I was a very stupid kid,” Mohammed continued. “There is nothing that I could say or do that could restore what I did to them.”
“The only way I can show them I’ve changed is how I live my life,” Mohammed pleaded.
That was enough to persuade the court not to give him prison time. As a result, Mohammed was sentenced to five years probation, according to the New York Daily News. Fox News reported that weekly check-ins, lack of internet access, and an ankle monitor are all part of his probation terms.

In a stunning report published Wednesday, The Guardian revealed that “the number of people arrested for terrorism-linked offences (in the U.K.) rose by more than two-thirds to a record 379 in the 12 months to June — one of the most intense periods for terrorist attacks in recent history.”
Of those 379 suspects, nearly a third were eventually charged with terrorism offenses, while nearly 18 percent still face further investigation.
The publication of this report occurred on the same day that Trump retweeted three video posts from British activist Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of British First, a reportedly “far-right” political party that opposes mass migration.
One of the video posts showed radical Muslims pushing a teenage boy off a roof and then beating him to death, while the second video showed Muslims destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary. According to The Daily Wire, the first video was shot in Egypt five years ago, while the second video was shot in Syria one year later. In a third video retweet, a Dutch boy could be seen beating up another Dutch boy, though Fransen mistakenly claimed one of the boys was Muslim.
Following the U.S. president’s retweets, a number of prominent British officials condemned Trump, including Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London.
British Prime Minister Theresa May chimed in as well, decrying Britain First as “a hateful organization” that “seeks to sow division and hate and mistrust in our communities,” according to ABC News. “It stands in opposition to our fundamental values we hold as a country.”
But as noted by Robert Spencer, a Fox News contributor known for his criticisms of Islam, those castigating Trump seemed more focused on whom he retweeted versus the actual content of the tweets.
“I have not seen any Muslim spokesmen say, ‘There is a problem (in Islam) we need to deal with,’” he said in a statement to Breitbart. “They are all just criticizing Trump. … (Former President Barack) Obama did everything he could to whitewash the image of Islam — Trump is calling attention to atrocities that are committed in the name of name of Islam.”

On July 1, 2015, the 32-year-old Steinle was shot in the back on Pier 14 in San Francisco while she was walking with her father. No one denies that Zarate shot her, but he claimed that he found a handgun wrapped in a T-shirt under a bench on the pier and that it fired accidentally as he tried to extract it.
Zarate was found not guilty of murder and not guilty of the lesser charges of involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon. He was convicted of illegally possessing a firearm, a sentence that carries up to three years. Federal immigration officials have stated that Zarate will be deported for a sixth time after he serves jail time.
Before the shooting, Zarate, an illegal immigrant who was deported five times previously, had been released from jail where he was being held on drug charges. He was released because of San Francisco’s sanctuary city polices, contrary to the will of federal immigration authorities who wanted him detained. He then went on to kill Steinle. 
President Trump called the verdict in Zarate’s trial a “disgrace.” He accused the previous administration of failing to protect the U.S. border and the Democratic party of being weak on crime. He also repeated his call to build a wall on the southern border.
President Trump’s tweets reflect the anger felt among his voters at the injustice of Kate Steinle’s death.
The issue is not that illegal immigrants commit a disproportionate number of crimes compared to American citizens. It is that every crime committed by an illegal immigrant is preventable if the United States would enforce its immigration laws and secure the border.
On the campaign trail in 2016, Trump consistently brought up Kate Steinle’s murder during while giving his pitch to voters on why the U.S. needs stricter immigration laws, tougher border enforcement, and an end to sanctuary city policies. Trump strongly supported the passage of Kate’s Law, which would increase penalties for those who attempt to re-enter the country after deportation, as Zarate did.
Every American with common sense understands that cities do not have the right to lawlessly nullify immigration law and endanger Americans. And someone who enters the United States illegally and commits crimes should be deported and never allowed back.
But that is not the case on the ground today, and so far Congress has been unwilling to act. Kate’s Law remains stalled in the U.S Senate. Funding for border security is hotly contested, as Congress debates extending current government spending levels through Dec. 22 to avoid government shutdown. Meanwhile, some Republicans are instead working to include a deal for DACA amnesty in the spending bill to be passed before the end of this year.

The biblical account of creation describes the image of God upon humanity.
Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’ “And God said, ‘See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day (Genesis 1:26-31 NKJV).
“Let us…” Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit acted as one in creation to make humanity in God’s image or likeness. God gave humanity dominion over plants, animals, and nature, not over each other to control people as if they were possessions or property. Enslavement objectifies others in an attempt to control human liberty. Such objectification is always wrong. Such objectification violates God’s creative design that bestows freedom of choice upon humanity, the pinnacle of His Creation.
I believe that sexual harassment is wrong not only because it objectifies people and violates the imago dei God gives to humanity as His creative gift, but also because I reject the shifting mores of political correctness.
Human nature depends upon rules. Rules create order. Order is demanded to ensure predictability. Predictability is at the core of learning. All of life depends upon order. God built order into the universe to protect and prosper His creation.
It never works out well.
God created us with a need for very clear boundaries if we are to experience fulfilling expression of the sexuality that He so intricately designed within humanity.
And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. “And Adam said: ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed (Genesis 2:18- 25 NKJV).
God designed man and woman for mutual fulfillment in lifelong covenantal love. Sex is to be a beautiful recreative and procreative act within the boundaries of holy, committed love.
God gave the Hebrew people a moral law in the Old Covenant. This moral law provided details for sexual fulfillment along with prohibitions of those activities that undermine the healthy function of a community. He insisted that sex within holy marriage is good and fulfilling. Sex outside of holy marriage is objectifying and exploitative. Someone always winds up losing. So, He forbade certain sexual relationships:
Everybody else was living this broken, sinful lifestyle. But God said “Not my people. They are in covenant relationship with me.”
Political correctness has abandoned God’s morality and replaced it with a new, more permissive one. The only problem is, IT DOES NOT WORK! The new morality is simply the old immorality. I find no hope in the fact that the moral carousel has stopped at this temporary conclusion because I know that the shifting mores of political correctness will continue to turn its destructive and downward cycle.
However, one after another, the exploiters are being “outed.” Once outed, they are being ousted. Newscasters, politicians, media moguls, business executives, preachers, and priests alike. Some are not even being afforded due process. But that is not my point.

The case, Lucia v. SEC, has major implications for the process by which federal agencies try or punish those in violation of laws or regulations.
The litigation concerns an agency’s decision to allow career bureaucrats to preside as the functional equivalent of judges during enforcement proceedings. These officials, called administrative law judges (ALJs), are hired by career bureaucrats. They are not appointed by the president, a court or an agency head, but they exercise significant authority on behalf of the U.S. government in official proceedings. ALJs can, among other things, issue subpoenas, make decisions about the credibility of witnesses or the admissibility of evidence, and issues provisional rulings that are generally upheld on final review — if a final review occurs at all.
A group of investment managers challenged the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) use of ALJs in an enforcement proceeding convened against them for alleged violations of securities law. The managers argue these proceedings are unlawful, because the ALJs are exactly the sort of “inferior officer” who must be appointed by the president, the court, or the head of an agency, since they exercise meaningful discretion on behalf of the federal government.
A lower federal court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, found in favor of the SEC. A three-judge panel found for the SEC, and the full court affirmed that decision on a five to five vote. The investment managers then appealed to the Supreme Court.
The Obama Justice Department sided with the SEC in the dispute, but Trump’s new solicitor general, Noel Francisco, changed positions Wednesday, and backed the money managers.
“Upon further consideration, and in light of the implications for the exercise of executive power under Article II, the government is now of the view that such ALJs are officers because they exercise ‘significant authority pursuant to the laws of the United States,’” Francisco wrote in a new brief at the Supreme Court.
A Supreme Court ruling against the SEC could have important implications for similarly-situated officials in other 
agencies. ALJs often preside in actions brought by a whole host of federal agencies. A finding against the SEC would potentially jeopardize, and perhaps invalidate, the legal status of thousands of other agency proceedings.
The Justice Department generally represents federal agencies before the high court. Accordingly, the solicitor general asked the justices to appoint another lawyer to represent the SEC as the litigation continues.
The high court could decide to take the case as soon as January.

A Mauriceville, Texas family is concerned that missing 15-year old Heaven Ray Cox is with a predator she met on Snapchat.
The teen, much like others her age, normally sleeps in late on weekends, but when her parents went to check in on her, she was gone.
The family of a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday fear she may be with a much older man she met on Snapchat…
…They now fear she may have been abducted or ran away by a man she met on social media, the Beaumont Enterprise reports.
Police were notified of her disappearance on November 26 and are working to assess the potential connection with the unidentified predator.
Heaven’s mother, Tammy, is concerned that she’s gone to California. Her daughter suffers from bipolar disorder, and may not be on her medication.
The distraught mother posted a message on Facebook:
She wrote: ‘The man she has been talking to is a predator, who has apparently been manipulating her for some time, and in her current state of mind, she believes that he is her friend.
‘She left a goodbye note to me and her Dad, and said that she wouldn’t have a phone, so I’m sure he has taken it from her, as it isn’t here, and I have torn her room apart. She is off her meds and is in a manic phase of bipolar disorder.
‘I am asking everyone to share this to their wall, and particularly those who live in California and every state between there and Texas.
‘This man told her that he would be in San Antonio for Thanksgiving and that he would pick her up.’

San Antonio is 4.5 hours from Mauriceville.
Police say that a note that was left indicates that the teen may be headed to California. Her passport is also missing.
How devastating.

It’s time for A Reckoning.
It was published on Tuesday, November 28, the day before the shocking firing of Matt Lauer from NBC News.
It is an incredibly well-written indictment of modern feminism and their role in aiding and abetting sexual predators in Washington, Hollywood, and the rest of American society.
(FYI for all the offense-mongers out there, this article was written by a female ClashDaily Editor.)
Roy cites 5 big reasons why feminism has contributed to the sexual exploitation and harassment of women.
1. Not calling out sexual predators that are ideological allies
Roys enumerates the ‘feminists’ that had jumped to the defense of Bill Clinton in the 90s amidst the allegations of sexual assault:
– Nina Burleigh’s crude remark about giving Clinton oral sex just for keeping abortion legal;
– and of course, the infamous New York Times op-ed by Gloria Steinem titled, ‘Feminists and the Clinton Question’ where she defends Bill’s assaults as ‘clumsy passes’.
In the 1990s and subsequent decades, feminism revealed itself to be shockingly Machiavellian. At a critical time, when the nation’s attention was trained on the plight of women exploited by a powerful man, feminism essentially told female victims to suck it up and move on. Is it any wonder that women like actress Natalie Portman have been rendered numb to the sexual harassment they’ve routinely endured?
Portman recently disclosed that when the allegations against Weinstein first surfaced, she thought, “Wow, I’m so lucky that I haven’t had this.” Then on further reflection she realized she’s been the victim of sexual harassment a hundred times, but had learned to dismiss it as “part of the process.” “I’ve had discrimination or harassment on almost everything I’ve ever worked on in some way,” she said.
Feminism also told powerful predators like Bill Clinton that if they support liberal causes, they can have their way with women and feminists will have their back. Is it any wonder that the Harvey Weinsteins of this world took this message and ran with it?
And then, Roy levels the knockout punch:
Let’s face it. We’re in this current cultural moment because of feminists, not in spite of them!
She’s absolutely right.
2. Abortion
But it’s not just feminists’ protection of predators that has contributed to the epidemic of sexual harassment and abuse in this country. The entire ideology of feminism renders women as tools for men…
…Women don’t want abortions; men do. In fact, a study reported in the Medical Science Monitor found that 64-percent of women who abort feel pressured to do so. Similarly, Frederica Matthewes-Green, who talked to hundreds of women about their decision to abort for her book, Real Choices, found that women aren’t having abortions because they are poor, or because a child would interfere with school or career plans. They’re having abortions because the men in their lives tell them to do so.
Matthewes-Green reported that 88-percent of the women she interviewed said their trip to the abortion clinic was not a choice, but a capitulation. They didn’t feel empowered; they felt isolated, overwhelmed and sad.
Mathhewes-Green said that women don’t choose abortion like an ice cream cone or a Porsche, she went so far as to illustrate the ‘woman’s choice’ like an ‘animal caught in a trap that wants to gnaw its own leg off’.
Yet, abortion is still a pillar of the feminist movement.
Yet abortion remains enshrined as the holy grail of feminism. The National Organization of Women (NOW) names so-called “reproductive justice” as one of its five main campaigns. Reproductive Rights is also cited as one of the Women’s March main “unity principles.”
Feminism’s commitment to abortion is downright fanatical. As one of Hillary Clinton’s biographers, Dr. Paul Kengor, once wrote, “(Abortion) is Hillary’s hill to die on. I believe Hillary Clinton would give her life for Roe v. Wade.”
But that’s not the entirety of Roy’s ire. She’s not just writing about feminists past, but also feminists present.
3. Making women the functional equivalents of men
As much as feminists want to claim that women are identical to men — NEWSFLASH! They’re not.
It’s ok that there are differences in the genders.
Abortion is necessary to achieve feminism’s goal of making women the functional equivalents of men. But women aren’t the functional equivalents of men. Perhaps someone should inform feminists that women have a womb; we nurse babies; and we’d prefer to have our unique maternal functions protected, rather than obliterated.
Of course, intersectional feminists would dispute that, because some women have a penis.
4. ‘Hook-up’ culture
We’d also prefer feminists to call predatory men to account – not just the Bill Clintons and Harvey Weinsteins, but the “Alexes” and “Martys.” These are the guys who bragged to a Vanity Fair reporter about their “Tinderellas,” the dozens of girls they’ve slept with and discarded after finding them on dating apps like Tinder and Hinge.
Feminists should be up in arms over the wanton abuse of women inherent in the current hookup culture; instead so-called “third-wave” feminists are actually promoting it.
These “sex-positive” or “porn-positive” feminists are so deceived that they actually think freely prostituting one’s body is somehow in women’s best interests. Heavily influenced by the message of the sexual revolution, these daughters of second-wave feminists believe sexual freedom is essential to women’s freedom and, as a result, oppose controlling or limiting sex in any way.
You know like ‘feminist’ and 2018 Grammy nominee Cardi B and others that are peddling sex as a pastime or a way to wealth and fame.
5. Sex/Porn Positive ‘feminists’ strong-arming anyone that disagrees with them
Just like with abortion, if you disagree with feminists on their view of casual sex and that women view sex differently than men do, they’ll disavow you.
Sadly, their errant ideology is killing them. As a female student at Boston College told Vanity Fair, “Sex should stem from emotional intimacy, and it’s the opposite with us right now, and I think it really is kind of destroying females’ self-images.” Her classmate agreed and added, “But if you say any of this out loud, it’s like you’re weak, you’re not independent, you somehow missed the whole memo about third-wave feminism.”

While Warren claimed Trump had used a “racial slur,” an actual descendant of Pocahontas has previously said she doesn’t find the president’s nickname for the Massachusetts Democrat to be offensive.
During an interview in September with Sky News, Debbie “White Dove” Porreco said Trump had once asked her if it offended her when he used the term “Pocahontas” to refer to Warren.
“I know he uses ‘Pocahontas’ sometimes with Elizabeth Warren,” Porreco said.
“He said, ‘Well does that offend you when I use that?’’ she added. “And I told him no, it doesn’t offend me.”
Porreco said she believes the real Pocahontas would have a positive view of Trump if she were still living.
“If Pocahontas were alive today, she would be very proud of President Trump,” Porreco said. “Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”
Sky News also interviewed Irene Bedard, a Native American woman who voiced Pocahontas in the 1995 animated Disney movie.
“Do I think Pocahontas would be a fan of Trump? Oh no,” Bedard said. “Misogyny and bullying and name-calling at its finest. It is not intelligent discourse.”
Following Trump’s comments, Warren appeared on MSNBC and criticized the president for using a “racial slur.”
“This was supposed to be an event to honor heroes, people who put it all on the line for our country,” Warren said, according to Real Clear Politics.
“It is deeply unfortunate that the president of the United States can’t even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without throwing out a racial slur,” she added.
It was revealed that when she worked as a professor at Harvard Law School, the school tried to used her claims to prove their faculty was diverse, according to The Hill.
However, Breitbart noted in 2014 that there’s “no credible evidence that exists to support” Warren’s controversial claims of Native American ancestry.
Commentary by 
Ann Coulter | While edging up to admitting that Bill Clinton maybe shouldn’t have raped Juanita Broaddrick and flashed Paula Jones, liberals still can’t own up to their utterly hypocritical defense of a president credibly accused of repeated sexual assaults and associated felonies.
Recently, The New York Times’ Maureen Dowd tried to cover up the left’s shameful response to Clinton’s sleazy behavior with the “both sides” argument. According to Dowd, liberals “tried to kill off” Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas “over sex when the real reason they wanted to get rid of him was politics.” And then conservatives “tried to kill off a Democratic president over sex when the real reason they wanted to get rid of him was politics.”
Here are three important differences off the top of my head:
1) Anita Hill’s accusations against Thomas involved words — just words — whereas Clinton was accused by multiple women of being a sexual predator on a scale to rival Harvey Weinstein.
2) The evidence against Thomas consisted of a single accuser, with no corroborating witnesses. The evidence against Clinton included, among other things, multiple witnesses; contemporaneous corroborating witnesses; secretly recorded confessions of the assaults and liaisons from Clinton himself (the Gennifer Flowers tape), Monica Lewinsky (Linda Tripp tapes) and Juanita Broaddrick (two separate tapes by people who wanted her to tell the truth about the rape); a DNA-stained dress; and, eventually, when he had absolutely no other choice, Clinton’s own admission under oath.
3) As Dowd says, the left was using Hill’s made-up charges against Thomas to save Roe v. Wade. By contrast, it’s absurd to imagine that Republicans were enraged by the policies of President Clinton — a neoliberal, Third-Way, welfare-reform-signing, Ricky Ray Rector-executing Democrat. Clinton was the last of a vanishing breed, the moderate Democrat. That just wasn’t a good enough reason to overlook his repeated sexual assaults, felonies and bald-faced lies.
It was liberals, and only liberals, who did an about-face on everything they supposedly believed about sexual harassment for political gain. The exact same people who had pretended to need smelling salts when told Thomas had joked about “Long Dong Silver” in the offices of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (never happened) were suddenly A-OK with a governor summoning a lowly state employee to his hotel room, dropping his pants and saying, “Kiss it.”
The erstwhile lynch mob against Clarence Thomas was fine with a presidential candidate using his campaign staff (including ABC’s George Stephanopoulos) to squelch “bimbo eruptions.”
Liberals were totally copacetic with the president of the United States using the full power of his office to smear his victims as liars, bimbos, trailer park trash and — in the case of Monica Lewinsky — a “stalker.”
In the middle of the Lewinsky scandal, feminist icon Gloria Steinem penned a New York Times op-ed launching the all-new “One Free Grope” rule. Steinem explained that Clinton’s smooth “kiss it” line to Paula Jones merely showed that — I quote — “Clinton took ‘no’ for an answer.”
No correction to Steinem’s pronouncement was issued days later when news of Juanita Broaddrick’s rape charge against Clinton began to circulate.
(If you doubt that the media are run by the totalitarian left, note that Steinem’s op-ed has been wiped from the Times’ archives. So I guess liberals do know how to wipe hard drives!)
Clinton was impeached for perjury and other felonies he committed to defeat Jones’ sexual harassment claim against him. Not one Democrat in the Senate voted to remove him from office. Not one.
It would be as if pollution laws were enforced only against companies with Republican CEOs. Oh! It’s Harvey Weinstein’s firm? My mistake — go ahead, dump toxic chemicals into this pristine river.
That’s why the most shocking revelation to emerge from The New York Times’ expose of Weinstein last month was that it was published at all. Least shocking was that, before Ronan Farrow took his detailed account of Weinstein’s assaults to The New Yorker, NBC killed the story.
Also unsurprising: Soon after refusing to publish Farrow’s report on Weinstein, NBC was frantically peddling a letter by “Saturday Night Live” staffers defending Franken from his own multiple groping incidents. (It’s looking like the best way to defend Roy Moore would be to allege that Democratic Sen. Al Franken once fondled 14-year-olds.)
Still, with the Times’ expose of Weinstein, for the first time in 20 years, liberals have finally begun to notice the prodigious abuse of women by liberal men — other than Al Franken, of course.
Perhaps the day is not far off when we will have ONE standard for both liberals and the people liberals hate. A girl can dream!

According to the White House Pool report, Trump encouraged the men and women in the room:
“It is an honor to be here,” the president said.
He noted that “there is no brand that went up like the Coast Guard” during the hurricanes in Texas, the Gulf Coast and Puerto Rico. He recognized the Coast Guard for rescuing 16,000 people in Texas after Hurricane Harvey, a number that he says few know or believe.
“Incredible people, you’ve done an incredible job,” Trump said.
The First Lady jumped in to tell the group: “Happy Thanksgiving!” She smiled and waved with both hands as she spoke.
The president offered to take questions from the Coast Guard, although no one spoke up — which the president says he loves.

Abortion providers brace for new Trump funding fight | © Getty
The Department of Health and Human Services Department (HHS) will soon set the terms for obtaining grants under Title X, a federally funded family planning program long reviled by conservatives. Officials within HHS who have been critical of Title X in the past now have the opportunity to reshape the program to fit the anti-abortion views of the administration.
Teresa Manning, the deputy assistant secretary of the office of population affairs at HHS, which oversees Title X, is a prominent anti-abortion advocate and a former lobbyist for the National Right to Life Committee. That group led the charge for restrictions on the program under President Reagan.
“This is the administration’s first attempt to really kind of redefine what they want the family planning program to look like,” said Audrey Sandusky, communications director for the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA), which represents Title X grant recipients.
“We anticipate some attempt to undercut the program,” she said.
Supporters of Title X worry the administration will freeze out clinics that also provide abortions, restrict the types of services performed at clinics, limit access to some types of birth control or reduce funding for the program.
“The best thing for health care and for women is that they receive [family planning services] in a setting that’s devoid of the possibility of Planned Parenthood pushing quote unquote options, when what they’re doing is referring them to the abortion facility,” said Steve Aden, chief legal officer and general counsel at Americans United for Life, an anti-abortion advocacy group in D.C.
“It might be next door, it might be across town. But virtually all of these clinics have affiliated abortion providers and they refer over. The best atmosphere for women would be one free of that kind of pressure.”
The Trump administration’s intent will be clear when HHS issues a funding opportunity announcement for the Title X grants. The conditions are expected to differ from the ones that were set by the Obama administration, perhaps significantly.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that Planned Parenthood and its affiliates receive about $60 million a year through the Title X program. In 2017, Congress appropriated $286 million total for the grants.
Kinsey Hasstedt, a senior policy manager at the Guttmacher Institute, which supports abortion rights, said it would be naive to think the Trump administration wouldn’t take the opportunity to “put a flag in the ground” on Title X.
“The administration has shown its cards to some degree in its opposition to abortion and providers who offer or are affiliated with abortion.”
That leaves Title X as the most plausible route for the administration to crack down on abortion providers. While federal dollars, including Title X grants, can’t be used to pay for abortions, critics argue that the money is fungible and could still indirectly support the procedure if it goes to groups that perform abortions like Planned Parenthood.
“That’s been a really big concern I think in the pro-life community,” said Melanie Israel, a research association at the conservative Heritage Foundation.
“Ultimately, money is fungible, and at the end of the day, those regulations were really important to make sure there was truly some separation there.”
The Reagan-era regulations were upheld by the Supreme Court but were never fully implemented due to time-consuming legal challenges. Former President Clinton officially lifted the restrictions in one of his first executive orders. Restoring these regulations could take months, but Heritage and other groups that support them say it would make certain that absolutely no federal funds go toward abortion.
“We think the administration should be interested in ensuring that taxpayer dollars aren’t subsidizing abortion entities,” said David Christensen, vice president of government affairs at the Family Research Council.
“Doing this would not prevent organizations like Planned Parenthood necessarily from getting Title X funds. It would mean though that the Title X family planning program would have to be physically and financially separate from an organization’s abortion activities.”
Guttmacher’s Kinsey said the possible changes to Title X would have a big impact on women, especially those living in underserved communities.
“Any attempt to undermine this program or the providers or women’s access to affordable care would be a huge setback and would definitely impact these women in these communities and represents a really unacceptable disruption of the program.”

Court document reveal that a member of MS-13 identified Timido as a person involved in the violent murder:
On 09/05/2017 [unnamed MS-13 member] took MCPD detectives to the gravesite located in the park and he further described the circumstances of the murder and detailed the choking, stabbing, decapitating, and dismembering the victim’s body before dumping it into a pre-dug hole.
[Unnamed MS-13 member] identified one of the other participants in the murder as an adult male he knew as Miguel and whose nickname was “Timido.”
The victim has been stabbed over one-hundred times, decapitated, dismembered, and his heart had been excised from his chest and thrown into the grave.
According to the Washington Post Timido is from El Salvador and is inside the United States illegally:
Lopez-Abrego did not speak during the court appearance. Officials from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a statement saying “Miguel Angel Lopez-Abrego, a citizen and national of El Salvador, is illegally in the U.S. and currently in immigration proceedings. On Nov. 4, ICE lodged a detainer on Mr. Lopez-Abrego with the Avery County Sheriff’s Department in North Carolina after his arrest by local authorities.”
The gruesome murder was committed inside Montgomery County, Maryland, which is known territory for MS-13 gang members, due to it’s sanctuary county status. This means the county does not comply with ICE authorities to remove illegals.
“In May, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, said that a whistleblower came forward and provided documents that proved that the Obama administration knowingly admitted teen MS-13 gang members into the United States and sent them to communities throughout the U.S.,” the Daily Wire reports.

Via the San Francisco Chronicle he continued to say: If there’s one thing that I take away from today and seeing the beauty of everybody out here, it’s that we’re only getting stronger every day, we’re only getting larger and larger every day. I see the strength in everybody.
The dancing, the rituals – that is our resistance. We continue to fight. We continue to fight for justice. We fight for our freedom, and we continue on that path.
Kaepernick is still unemployed as an NFL player. He now, however, has done multiple media appearances to represent Black Lives Matter.
