Due to the popularity of the ‘Survivor’ shows, Texas is planning to do one entitled: ‘Survivor – Texas-Style!’
The lucky contestants will all start in Dallas, Texas, drive to Waco, then to Austin, then to San Antonio, then over to Houston, and, down to Brownsville.
They will then proceed up to Del Rio, El Paso, Odessa, Midland, Lubbock, and Amarillo.
From there they will go on to Abilene and Fort Worth.
Finally, back to Dallas.
The total trip will cover approximately 2,667 miles of hot, dusty Texas.
But that’s nothing. Nada. No big deal. Oh the contestants will have to drive friendly, it’s the Texas way.

The Internet has changed a lot about the way kids grow up. Teenagers have probably always done dumb shit, but now you might see it directly on video in an instant, and millions of people might witness what was formerly just a private, crazy story.
Urban legends and rumors were the old way: now what could only be remembered through storytelling is sometimes visible to anybody in the world on YouTube. So it was tide pods a few months ago…. Now the machine that regurgitates viral news is at it again and what has got to be a very, very small amount of people are doing this thing they call the condom challenge.
People are snorting condoms through their nose, and pulling them out of their throats. They must not know that on top of the obvious ridiculousness of the idea, all kinds of toxic and irritating chemicals are in condoms. So because this sh*t generates views, every outlet from tabloid UK newspapers to Forbes, to Business Insider is reporting on this.
If people respond to dumb sh*t in the media, what they will get in response is a whole lot of dumb sh*t. This article cannot explain it with the terrible descriptive power of the websites that covered this. According to Unilad:
“So just what is the condom challenge. It’s simple really. Unravelling a latex smelling lubricated Johnny, snorting it deep into the labyrinths of your nasal cavity, and then pulling it out from the back of your throat. Nasty.”
Forbes worships doctors and the mainstream, and needs some kind of quote to fill the content of their article about this, so they got word from an associated professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health named Bruce Lee.
“When is using a condom a bad idea? When you are trying to snort it up your nose and pull it out through your mouth. If you ask, ‘why would anyone ever do that’, then you obviously haven’t heard of the ‘Condom Snorting Challenge’.
The condom could easily get stuck in your nose or your throat, blocking your breathing or causing you to choke.
Even if you manage to successfully pull the condom out through your mouth, inhaling a condom up your nose would be very uncomfortable and potentially quite painful. Would it really be worth all that just to get more likes and views?”
The expert listed various times in which people accidentally swallowed condoms. Things were mentioned like collapsed lungs, appendix’s being lodged (I don’t even know how that makes sense), blocked airways, ect.
This isn’t some epidemic of all teenagers being retarded. Generation Z, the people on Earth who are currently teenagers (post-Millennial), certainly are building a reputation for being ignorant to consequences.
However people need to realize this type of behavior isn’t some epidemic, it just looks more like that when viral videos are the way information is spread in this 2010’s decade.

For the first time in modern history, London has seen enough murders to finally surpass New York City’s homicide rate.
The capital of England has a comparable population with the Big Apple and both cities have already experienced several homicides so far this year. Last year, there were a total of 130 murders in London where New York City had more than twice that number, with a count of 290 murders.
New York’s Murder History
Last year, NYC saw an historic low murder rate which has seen a steady decline since 1990. Commissioner James O’Neill said that they haven’t had a murder rate like that in 70 years, saying that it’s “safe to say right now that New York hasn’t been like this since the 1950s.” In 2016, there had been 335 murders in the city.
The peak year for murders in NYC was in 1990 with a record 2,245 homicides. This high number includes the deaths of 87 people who were killed in a fire set by an arsonist at the Happy Land Social Club in the Bronx.
Speaking with media at the end of December, police said that shootings were down as well. In the closing days of 2017, they investigated 784 shootings, which is more than 200 less than in 2016 which saw 988 shootings.
Firearms in the UK
Starting in 1997, the United Kingdom banned handguns, a class of weapons which is responsible for the majority of shooting homicides in America. While citizens are able to buy some hunting long guns, they must give the police a “good reason”in order to do so.
Famously, even the police don’t carry guns.
During the 2012 Olympic Games held in London, competitive marksmen had to work through piles of paperwork in order to bring their firearms to the city.
So, without access to guns, the good people of London simply stab each other to death.
So far in 2018, 46 people in London have been killed compared to 50 in New York City. But, looking at the monthly rate, the NYPD investigated 11 murders in February compared to London investigating 15 murders in February. In March, London saw 22 murders while New Yorkers saw 21 murders.
That is, the monthly murder rate in London is on an upward bend compared to NYC.
Mayor Sadiq Khan
London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan, 47, was born in Britain and is the first Muslim mayor in the city’s centuries-long history. Khan believes his city to be a “beacon of tolerance” and so he has set out to ban Donald Trump from visiting.
In 2016, Khan said that dying from terrorism is “part and parcel” of living in a big city.
The City of London
London’s history dates back to a legendary founding 3,000 years ago, and recent archaeological finds show that people have inhabited the area thousands of years before that. The city of London was founded as Londinium by the Romans a few years after the death of Christ and it soon became an important city, with the first defensive wall being built some time after 180 AD. Roman occupation ended after 410 AD. The city changed hands, and today some of its most famous structures were originally founded after the Norman invasion. Construction on both the Palace of Westminster and the Tower of London started before 1100 and the first attempt at the London Bridge was finished in 1206.
Roman London had an all-time high population of 60,000 comprising people from all over the Roman Empire, and modern London’s population is estimated to be over 8.6 million people.
New York City
Before European settlers came to the area, the area now known as New York City was inhabited by Algonquin people. The area was first documented in 1524 and was called New Netherland in 1614. Permanent residences were established by Europeans in 1624 and was passed from the Dutch to the English in 1674.
Right now, New York City has an estimated population of over 8.6 million people.
Cities By Murder Rate
Using 2017 numbers, the cities with the highest homicide rates are Los Cabos, Mexico, Caracas, Venezuela, and Acapulco, Mexico. All three cities have more than 106 homicides per 100,000 people living there.
In the United States, the city with the highest murder rate is St. Louis with 65,83 homicides per 100,000 people followed by Baltimore with 55.48 murders per 100,000 people.

An internal FBI document shows that the testimony given by Andrew McCabe about leaking to the Washington Post is diametrically opposed to testimony given by James Comey.
It’s a safe bet that one of them is lying. If it turns out to be McCabe, which is likely, he doesn’t need to worry about his pension as much as he should be worrying about prison. McCabe had testified that he had told Comey about the release but when Comey was questioned, he denied that McCabe ever told him about it.
Former FBI Director James Comey told internal investigators at the Justice Department that he could not recall McCabe telling him about having authorized FBI officials to talk to a reporter about an ongoing investigation, the sources said.
Comey’s comments to the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which were later included as part of the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility report on McCabe that prompted his firing earlier this month, put him at odds with the statements McCabe has made about authorizing FBI officials to provide information to the Wall Street Journal in an October 2016 story about FBI and Justice Department tensions over an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
McCabe has publicly maintained that he was in a position to authorize the other FBI officials speaking with the reporter and that Comey was aware McCabe had done it.
McCabe and his lawyer both argue that they didn’t lie to Comey and that Comey’s memory just wasn’t that good. But Jim Jordan blasted that by pointing out that McCabe lied four times about not authorizing the leak:
JORDAN: “McCabe didn’t lie just once, he lied four times. He lied to James Comey. He lied to the Office of Professional Responsibility and he lied twice under oath to the Inspector General.”
“Remember, this is Andrew McCabe, Deputy Director of the FBI. This is Andrew McCabe, the text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page talking about Andy’s office, the meeting where they talk about the insurance policy in case Donald Trump is actually President of the United States… Four times he lied about leaking information to the Wall Street Journal.”
Pope Francis reportedly proclaimed that hell does not exist and that condemned souls disappear when they die, in a pronouncement that runs contrary to 2000 years of Christian teaching. The pope is said to have made the statement to his longtime atheist friend Eugenio Scalfari, publisher of La Repubblica, CNS News reported.
In an article in the Italian paper titled “The Pope: It is an honor to be called a revolutionary,” Scalfari is quoted asking the pontiff, “You have never spoken to me about the souls who died in sin and will go to hell to suffer it for eternity. You have however spoken to me of good souls, admitted to the contemplation of God. But what about bad souls? Where are they punished?”

The Pope responded, “They are not punished, those who repent obtain the forgiveness of God and enter the rank of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear. There is no hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls.”
The Catholic leader’s view does not square with the Bible’s multiple affirmations of the existence of hell.
The late evangelist Billy Graham wrote on the subject, “It might surprise you to learn that the person in the Bible who spoke the most about hell’s reality was Jesus.”
Graham continued: “He repeatedly warned us not to take it lightly: ‘Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell’ (Matthew 10:28).”

The Christian Broadcasting Network in a piece entitled “Is Hell A Real Place?”pointed out that the Bible described hell as a place of torment, darkness and fire. Jesus said some “will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 8:12).”
The Apostle Paul wrote that those who don’t know Jesus “shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power (2 Thessalonians 1:8-10).”
The Book of Revelation, written by the Apostle John, records one day all those who go to hell will face a final judgement.

Chapter 20, verses 13-15, read: “The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Christ said to Peter, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:17-18).”
The Catechism of the Catholic Church holds to the reality of hell, as well.

“The teaching of the Church affirms the existence of hell and its eternity. Immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell, where they suffer the punishments of hell, ‘eternal fire.’ The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God, in whom alone man can possess the life and happiness for which he was created and for which he longs,” it reads.
The document further states: “The affirmations of Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church on the subject of hell are a call to the responsibility incumbent upon man to make use of his freedom in view of his eternal destiny.”
The Vatican released a statement in response to Scalfari’s article denying the writer directly quoted the pope, but not the substance of his reported claim that hell does not exist.
“The Holy Father Francis recently received the founder of the newspaper La Repubblica in a private meeting on the occasion of Easter, without giving any interview,” the statement reads.

It continues: “What is reported by the author in today’s article is the result of his reconstruction, in which the textual words pronounced by the Pope are not quoted. No quotation of the aforementioned article must therefore be considered a faithful transcription of the words of the Holy Father.”
Early Islam was formed as an imperial system with continual jihad to spread the dominion of Islam as a fully integrated component. One of the conquerors of North Africa, Uqba bin Nafe even famously rode his horse into the Atlantic ocean after a successful raid through what is now Morocco and declared, “O Lord be Thou witness, that I have taken Thy Message up to the end of the land and if this ocean were not in my way I would have proceeded to fight the pagans until none would be worshipped except Thee.”
Traditionally jihad had a host of rules to limit the brutality of war, including prohibiting cutting down trees and harming women, children and non-combatants.
The theological arguments used by contemporary jihadi groups to justify suicide bombings and the mass murder of civilians are very recent. They date back to the 1960s’ thinker Sayyid Qutb, who argued that all contemporary Muslim societies are living in a state of jahilliya (spiritual ignorance) and elaborated on the doctrine of takfir, which enabled his followers to proclaim whole swathes of people as heretics and therefore deserving of death.
Some people just like killing. Those people will join whichever gang or group provides them the opportunity to do that.
Some people just love money and will fight for any army or terrorist group, as long as the cash keeps coming.
Some people are depressed and alienated and will join whichever group takes them in and gives them meaning.
Some people are drawn to Islamism because they are deeply ideologically driven. They don’t care about economics or social inclusion, they just want to spread what they see as God’s law.
The media directly contributes to terrorism by magnifying the brand of the groups that do it and broadcasting their atrocities worldwide in real time. The purpose of terrorism is to use violence to send a political message, and it works in part because we pay so much attention to it. Terrorism has grown alongside the internet and high-quality instant streaming video services and is calibrated to what will provide the best coverage.
It is almost impossible to win against America and her allies militarily. Even assassinations or guerrilla attacks against soldiers are prohibitively difficult. Therefore, striking soft targets makes military sense for a jihadi campaign that wants to wear down its enemy in a war of attrition and undermine faith in the state’s ability to protect its citizens.
Extracting a financial cost to waging the war on terror, both in terms of military engagements abroad ($5.6 trillion since 9/11) and security measures such as an enhanced TSA is part of the jihadi plan of attrition. Al-Qaeda openly boasts in its propaganda about spending tiny sums of money in attacks that force the U.S. to spend billions.
