Terrifying! Obama Regime Unveils Behavior Modification Program to ‘Nudge’ Americans

FOX News reported on Tuesday that the government has created a “Behavioral Insights Team,” which is intended to influence the behavior of Americans. It is being referred to as a “nudge” because the team’s approach has been dubbed “subtle.” One can only assume that such “nudges” are  intended to be the second part of a governmental, one-two punch, the first being ham-fisted executive orders. The first forces compliance; the second is designed to mesmerize one into voluntary acquiescence. The program isn’t in planning stages. It has already been implemented. FOX reports:  “…the White House is already working on such projects with almost a dozen federal departments and agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture.”

The government release touts the advantages of the program: “Behavioral sciences can be used to help design public policies that work better, cost less, and help people to achieve their goals…the (Behavioral Insights) team would ‘experiment’ with various techniques, with the goal of tweaking behavior so people do everything from saving more for retirement to saving more in energy costs. Anyone interested in working for the White House in a ‘nudge’ squad? The UK has one and it’s been extraordinarily successful.”

The program cites benign examples of its intentions. But White House inspired behavioral modification experimentation won’t stop at cajoling us to save more for our old age.  It is less about helping people achieve their goals than it is to help The Lyin’ King’s regime to achieve its goals. In this, the British government was far more honest. Quoting from the U.K.report: “In 2010, UK Prime Minister David Cameron commissioned the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), which through a process of rapid, iterative experimentation (“Test, Learn, Adapt”), has successfully identified and tested interventions that will further advance priorities of the British government, while saving the government at least £1 billion within the next five years…” Among the U.K.’s concerns were to get tax payers to fork over 30 million pounds of extra tax payments, which they did in three months. They also successfully convinced the public to take advantage of  full-cost, government attic-clearance services. The British government realized a 500% increase in the purchase of  their services and of attic-insulation.  Evidence exists that the Lyin’ King’s power-hungry regime wouldn’t stop there.

Although the White House is painting its usual, self-serving picture, experts warn that there is nothing to stop government’s “we know best” snowball from turning into an avalanche. Michael Thomas, an economist at Utah State University, aired his concerns to FOX News: “Ultimately, nudging … assumes a small group of people in government know better about choices than the individuals making them. And sometimes… government actually promotes the wrong thing.” No kidding.

David Laibson, behavioral economics professor at Harvard University, is working with the government on the program. Laibson’s involvement in the program is right up The Lyin’ King’s alley; his verbal contortions outdo mountain switchbacks. First, Laibson states that “Every intervention would need to be tested to make sure (the program) works well…” Then Laibson added that the way the team will function is still unknown. Finally, Laibson “hopes the government will shy away from involving itself from controversial policies.” Well,  Elvis certainly departed that auditorium ages ago. Laibson ends with a bang: “Let’s say we want people to engage in some healthy behavior like a weight loss program, and then start automatically enrolling overweight people in weight loss programs — even though they could opt out, I’m guessing that would be viewed as offensive …”  Why assume one could “opt out”? Horrifyingly, Laibson believes it would be problematic not because of automatic enrollment but because “a lot of people would say, “…this is judging who I am and who I should be.”

FOX News ends with a cautionary note from Jerry Ellig, an economist with the Mercatus Center: “If you can keep it to a ‘nudge’ maybe it can be beneficial…but nudges can turn into shoves pretty quickly.” Mr. Ellig is dead wrong about a nudge from government being beneficial. A “nudge” from government is never beneficial to anyone except to government. We have almost five years of evidence of that.

The National Popular Vote effort, which could see only 14 states – those with the largest populations – decide the presidency for voters in all 50 states, is fully partnered with a George Soros-funded election group.

The group, the Center for Voting and Democracy, received original seed money in 1997 from the Joyce Foundation, a non-profit that boasted President Obama served on its board at the time of the grant. Obama was a board member from July 1994 until December 2002.

The National Popular Vote, or NPV, is run by individuals with a history of support for the Democratic Party, WND found.

Last week, the Washington Post reported NPV is “now halfway to its goal of electing future presidents via the popular vote, after Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee (D) made his state the latest to sign on.”

The Post story described NPV as a campaign seeking to “get states that comprise a majority of the 538 votes in the Electoral College –270, to be precise – to agree to award their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.”

The states will not be required to award their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner until NPV has signed up enough states to garner 270 electoral votes.

The Founding Fathers firmly rejected a purely popular vote to elect the president because they wanted to balance the power of the larger states against the smaller.

The Electoral College was fashioned as a compromise between an election of the president by direct popular vote and election by Congress.

Now the NPV effort could change the way Americans vote without amending the U.S. Constitution. The plan simply requires that enough states sign up by voting in their own legislatures and then having their governors approve.

It takes two-thirds of both the House and Senate to pass a constitutional amendment to repeal the Electoral College.

To bypass the constitutional amendment process, NPV minimizes the number of states that would need to agree. Instead, once enough states agree to allot their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner, the Electoral College becomes irrelevant.

With the addition of Rhode Island to the NPV effort, the pact now has nine states plus the District of Columbia for a total of 136 of the 270 electoral votes needed. The other states signed up are Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, Vermont and California.

NPV is partnered with FairVote, a project of the Soros-funded Center for Voting and Democracy.

FairVote’s website expounds on its relationship with NVP:

FairVote advocates for a national popular vote for president, and has nurtured and supported the National Popular Vote plan to ensure that every vote for president is equally valued no matter where it is cast.

FairVote’s executive director Rob Richie co-authored Every Vote Equal, a book explaining how the National Popular Vote plan would work and why the United States desperately needs it, and Fairvote regularly works with advocacy leaders at the National Popular Vote organization to assist in getting to important legislation passed.

Richie, executive director of FairVote since he co-founded it in 1992, is also a member of the civil society committee of the Soros-led Bretton Woods Committee, which openly seeks to remake the world economy.

Richie’s book “Every Vote Equal: A State-Based Plan for Electing the President by National Popular Vote” was co-authored with the NPV’s founder, John R. Koza.

In a Dec. 15, 2008, Wall Street Journal opinion piece, Jonathan Soros, son of George Soros, wrote that it was time to junk the Electoral College.

Soros’s Open Society Institute funds the Center for Voting and Democracy, where FairVote is based.

The center’s website notes the group was kick-started in 1997 with two grants – one from the Open Society and another from the Joyce Foundation.

With Obama on its board, the Joyce Foundation also funded the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation; the AFL-CIO Working for America Institute; the National Council of La Raza and Physicians for Social Responsibility, among numerous other radical groups.

Meanwhile, the NPV leadership is comprised of Democratic Party supporters.

The organization’s chairman and major funder is John R. Koza. He was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Scientific Games Inc., where he co-invented the rub-off instant lottery ticket used by state lotteries.

Koza, who has reportedly pledged $12 million to NPV, previously gave tens of thousands of dollars to various Democratic Party committees and liberal candidates and was an Al Gore elector in 2000, the Weekly Standard reported.

Another pledged NPV leader is Tom Golisano, founder and chairman of Paychex, the nation’s second largest payroll and human resource company. He co-founded the Independence Party of New York in 1994 and ran as the party’s gubernatorial candidate.

Golisano is a registered Republican, even though he supported John Kerry and gave $1 million to the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

NPV’s secretary, Chris Pearson, served in the Vermont House of Representatives in 2006. In 2005, he was director of the Presidential Election Reform program at the Soros-funded FairVote.

Former Ambassador: Benghazi “Stand Down” Order Came from Obama

bastardAnn Wagner, a former US ambassador and current congresswoman from Missouri, was interviewed about what the protocol would be for a “stand down” order in the event of a consulate being under attack, and she answered what many have suspected already: that’s an order that would come from Obama himself.

This is one of the reasons that the Obama administration has essentially refused to provide details about where Obama was at or what he was doing during the attack. This is because we know exactly what he was doing — ignoring the cries for help for political reasons.

Being wrong about policy is one thing. But ignoring the screams of those who work for you because you’d rather them die than accept that your foreign policy is creating more terrorists is a level of treason rare, even for the most despotic tyrants.

Congresswoman and former United States Ambassador to Luxembourg Ann Wagner (R-MO) appeared on The Dana Loesch show and placed the blame, of the stand down order to those that could have offered assistance to Americans under attack, on none other than Barack Obama.

Loesch asked Wagner, ‘Because you have been an ambassador, you have been overseas with similar responsibilities and similar missions – who gives such an order to stand down? Where does that come from?’

‘The President of the United States,’ the Missouri congresswoman affirmed.

As top diplomat in Libya Gregory Hicks testified to on Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee, ‘The Libyans that I talked to, and the Libyans and other Americans who were involved in the war have told me also, that Libyan revolutionaries were very cognizant of the impact that American and NATO airpower had with respect to their victory.’

‘They are under no illusions that American and NATO airpower won that war for them,” Hicks continued. “And so, in my personal opinion, a fast mover flying over Benghazi at some point, you know, as soon as possible might very well have prevented some of the bad things that happened that night.’

Meanwhile, General Ham has come forward saying the official story after the attack wasn’t true.

Obama’s response to everything? He promoted one of the women who helped craft the fake story. They know what they’re doing and they’re getting away with it.

This isn’t a “phony” scandal. This is abandonment, betrayal, and treason. All for what? To hide the fact that our foreign policy doesn’t work, it creates more of the enemy, and we need to change course. Pathetic and wrong.

MASS MEDIA NOW CONTROLLED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

pravdaWhere? Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela? Absolutely, AND now right here in the good old U.S of A.!! However, there is a difference! Now we are truly beginning to see that actual, physical ownership of the media is not necessary in order for the Progressive politicians to have control. We have known for well over four years the national media, almost without exception, has been in “bed” with Obama and his agenda of steadily driving this nation into a state of moral, social and economic bankruptcy. However, this past week his absolute control has been cemented and vividly demonstrated when the media immediately and displaying ultimate obedience followed his orders to cease and desist all reporting on the “phony scandals” that has been disrupting his agenda.

His agenda? Of course. He has suddenly decided that his over the top spending programs have not worked as promised because we didn’t spend enough, so the solution is to simply go back to his campaign speeches of the past five years to solve the economic problems. The media loves this rhetoric. It squarely focuses all the blame on those that disagree with his agenda and provides the cover needed to refocus their attacks on the conservative elements of our society.

Never mind that Hillary asked “what difference does it make” how, why or by whom four Americans in the service of our country were murdered. Or who or why the IRS choose to persecute the Obama detractors at a time so politically important to his great nation. Or why the NSA is involved in tracking my phone calls and yours. Or why and how the federal government allowed our own border security enforcement officer to be gunned down by a weapon provided to the enemy by the U.S.. And let’s not forget that Obama and his flunkies decided to make a racial issue out of the Zimmerman case even after the FBI said that was absolutely not so.

All Obama had to do was say “mass media, these are all just false and phony issues stirred up by my political foes so as to divert the attention of congress away from the real issue — the economy — and I hereby order you to cease and desist any airing of these baseless scandals”. In unison we here their response “Yes sir Commandant and Commander in Chief”. No direct control required, just the media’s desperate desire to be at the forefront in leading America into a European style Social Welfare state.

On The Road to Execution

It started simply enough. Four airplanes were hijacked and used as bombs against America; killing innocents as well as their executioners. It went downhill from there.

George W. Bush took it upon himself to try to ensure America’s safety. In order to do so he implemented one of the biggest sweeping changes in American government’s history. The birth of “Homeland Security” was done with good intentions, acknowledged. Too bad good intentions often go astray. The current administration took the start of the path to perdition and put it on full speed ahead: the Titanic captain had nothing on this admin!

Suddenly, we have this:

“[The President] has emulated Lenin in striving to increase state control over such ‘commanding heights’ of our economy as energy, health care, finance, and education, with smaller forays into food, transportation and undoubtedly some areas I am overlooking.”

Of course, it could be that he’s not actually a Communist, but is a Socialist instead:

“Contrary to claims made in 2008 by [the president], his staff, and supporters, he was a member of the socialist New Party in Chicago.”

It’s not just his membership in the Socialist Party that makes him a Socialist, it’s his actions as well. Whatever he is, he isn’t following the precepts of our Founding Fathers and no one can successfully argue that statement.

The president has taken America very quickly away from the Founding Fathers’ vision of America. By hook or by crook, he’ll get what he wants:

“Just look at how this administration is trying to do an end run around the people by having the Environmental Protection Agency impose stringent regulations when it couldn’t even get the overwhelmingly Democratic Congress to pass the socialist cap-and-trade bill.”

The question that becomes the issue: Is he taking us toward Communism or toward Socialism? In the long run, it doesn’t matter. Socialism (which we know via his membership card) is something that we know he believes in. With this president though, it looks like his Socialism leads to our Communism.

To clarify,

“Socialism manages the economy through planned collective social control, while communism tend to manage both the society and the economy by making sure that the properties are owned by the centralized organization to gain classlessness and statelessness. Both communism and socialism tend to prevent the effects of capitalism.”

So if Communism’s defining moments come when the economy is under control of the government, what do you call the long list of economic impacts the president has had while doling out taxpayer dollars to whomever he likes? Add the 20% of the economy that his health care plan will control (until it buckles under its own weight). Just last month the president released his Climate Action Plan:

“It is this war on coal that would prove the most costly, with hundreds of thousands of lost jobs and $1.47 trillion of lost national income by 2030. [my bolding]“

Taxes and his tax plan may round out the list, but it does not finish it. There are things not yet mentioned, but I must keep the article a readable length. The fact that his tax plan impacts us in that,

“The most serious consequence would be slower economic growth, less job creation, and less wage growth. Secondarily, the smaller income gains would reflect back on federal revenues, offsetting much of the revenue growth the president hopes to achieve with the tax increases. State and local budgets would be adversely affected as well.”

Established: The president was a card-carrying member of the Socialist Party as a younger man (for all we know, may still be).

Established: The president has manipulated the economy and has had a drastic impact upon it.

Established: The difference between a Socialist and a Communist is whether the government is in control of the economy, as well as the social arena.

Established: The president is in control of the economy.

Therefore: The president is a Communist.

We also know he’s allowing more drones to take to the air to keep an eye on us. We know he’s not above suing states to keep them from enforcing their own laws. We know he tries to stifle the votes of those whom he believes will vote against him.  We know he’s hiding his background from us. We know he lies to us constantly.

We also know he willingly allowed four Americans to die in Benghazi and did nothing to help them: “Stand down!” He did not seek out and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law those responsible for Brian Terry’s death. We know there are questions surrounding other deaths related to the president (Jamie Zapata and Judge John Roll among others).

“The daughter of a former German diplomat in Moscow was trying to explain to me why her father, who, as an enlightened modern man, had become an implacable anti-Communist. It was hard for her because, as an enlightened modern girl, she shared the Communist vision without being a Communist. But she loved her father and the irrationality of his defection embarrassed her. “He was immensely pro-Soviet,” she said, “and then — you will laugh at me — but you must not laugh at my father — and then — one night — in Moscow — he heard screams. That’s all. Simply one night he heard screams.” — Whitaker Chambers, Witness

Some Thoughts I want to Share With You


The turmoil we are experiencing in America each day has a single common root; Spiritual Darkness. That is the foundation for most of the stresses, crime, social discord and evil found in our society today. God inspired the Apostle Paul to give us an answer when He had Paul write a letter to all the churches he had ministered. Tychicus, a Christian man and helper of Paul’s,  was tasked with inserting the name of each church in the beginning of the letter before he read the letter to them. In our Bibles we find a copy of that letter, the book of Ephesians.

In the sixth chapter Paul is inspired to write, “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” – (Eph 6:10-12) NIV. The Holy Spirit wants us to know that all the battles we face in this life is spiritual in nature.

Starting at the beginning we learn that the nature to sin was originated with Adam and Eve. Their fall from grace was the result of their disobedience in eating the fruit from the tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil. That knowledge has been passed down to every person ever born on this earth. No exceptions, except Jesus, Who was the result of God’s divine nature impregnating a young virgin girl, Mary.

Jesus also taught us this lesson found in John, chapter three. All too often we preach and teach about the first seventeen verses and neglect the powerful teaching about this issue. “19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”  (John 3:19-21) NIV

“Men love darkness instead of the light…..” That says it all. People of the Extreme Left are made up of those that have chosen DARKNESS for their lifestyle because they were born with the knowledge of God that their life choices are contrary to His will, and therefore, contrary to God Himself. Rather than admit their choices are wrong and all their philosophies are wrong, all their doctrines are wrong and that all they stand for, defend and fight to change, are wrong, wrong, wrong, they curse the light and cling to the darkness. I am sure you know people like that; they will never admit they are wrong.

Those of us who have come to the light have confessed our sins admitting that our life choices are wrong, and we have chosen to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ, making Him the Lord of our lives and yielding to His Holy Spirit to walk in that Light, AS HE IS THE LIGHT (John 1 & 1st John 1). That walk is not withourt it’s challenges, yet He is faithful Who has promised to uphold us with His mighty hand. Darkness hides people for what they are, and the motivations behind all they say and do.

The Apostle Paul wrote the the church in Rome, “18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”  (Rom 1:18-20) NIV

Therefore, all human beings are without excuse before God because we are all born with the knowledge of good and evil. That is why people surround their lives with noise to drown out that still, small voice of God saying, “This is the way and I want you to go. Now walk in it.”

I believe that is the reason the people claiming to be Atheist are so adamant about driving Christianity out of our society. Notice they never attack Catholic’s, Muslims or any other form of religion? Only Christianity is found in their cross-hairs of hatred and strife. Consistent are their efforts to quiet the voice of Christ followers, and our freedom in America to practice our faith and express it openly.

No longer can we say, “I can express my faith in America without fear of reprisal.” Those days are gone because of the efforts of the Socialist Left who want us to stay quiet and stay to ourselves. The persecution of Christ followers is growing in ever rapid pace. The vitriol, hatred, false accusations, misrepresentation of what we say, is becoming more common with each passing day. The day is fast approaching under the Extreme Political Left Wing that being a Christian will be a crime. Already Homeland Security, The State Department and the Department of Defense has labeled Christians as a group pf people to keep a eye on fearing we will cause trouble of some sort, and labeled possible terrorist.

EVIDENCE OF THE GROWING GODLESSNESS OF OUR GOVERNMENT:

Proverbs 18:2 NIV; “Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.”

The people the Bible identifies as “Fools” where people who did not know God, or wanted to have anything to do with God. They included the religious of that day, and throughout history, their offspring are following in the same path. We think that only Atheist fall into the “Fool” category, but in reality, anyone who claims they don’t know if their is a God, no God at all, or are simply religious in their thinking and conduct, are denying the living God and the record of His will, the Bible.

These people are free with their opinion about everything, and any opposition is considered hateful and argumentative.  The entire Extreme Left falls into this “Fool” category, and those claiming to be Atheist find comfort, security and acceptance in the Socialist wing of the Extreme Left.

Proverbs 18:12 NIV; “”Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.”

Detroit proves this truth of God, and there are many other cities and States (California being one of them) that are about to go the same way.  America is thick with politicians convinced they are above the law, a law unto themselves and will never be brought to answer for their deliberate destruction of our towns, cities, counties and States. Praise God we also find a remnant of politicians that are genuinely humble before God and the status of their governance is good, growing and secure.

Without a genuine Holy Spirit powered revival, we are rushing headlong toward a bloody civil war, race war and demise of all our freedoms and an America that will not look like anything our Godly Forefathers had in mind as God influenced the design and birth of the United States of America. History is obvious that God has formed two countries for His Own; Israel and the United States of America. Our country was form by God for the spreading of the Gospel worldwide. Now, the churches we’ve planted are sending missionaries to us praying Americans will find Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to turn this country around.

I have been praying for revival since December of 1982. I will not give up. I believe God is not done with America, but our sins cannot go unpunished. Will you join me in praying for Revival?

The Purposed Racial Division in America

Since President Obama’s been president, racial division has escalated. That racial division has come from the president himself and a number of prominent racialists who are always leading the way in keeping racial divisions alive.

If racial divisions evaporate, so do political advantages. A similar thing is going on in the Middle East. What unifies the Muslim world is a common hatred for Israel. Peace with Israel would mean Islam would have to deal with its inherent problems.

Trayvon Martin is a racial red herring. It’s a tragedy that’s being used to mask what’s wrong with much of black culture, a culture that was in many ways created by our own government and egged on by self-appointed racialists, including the president. Consider the following:

“If we don’t do anything, then growth will be slower than it should be. Unemployment will not go down as fast as it should. Income inequality will continue to rise,” Obama said in an interview published Sunday by The New York Times. “Racial tensions won’t get better; they may get worse, because people will feel as if they’ve got to compete with some other group to get scraps from a shrinking pot. If the economy is growing, everybody feels invested, ” he said.

While channel surfing, I came across The House I Live In (1945), a short film starring Frank Sinatra. Made to oppose anti-Semitism and racial prejudice at the end of World War II, it received an Honorary Academy Award and a special Golden Globe award in 1946. It reminded me of where I grew up.

While Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, my hometown, is not as ethnically diverse as a city like New York, it had a similar ethnic and cultural mix. I grew up with other Italians, Irish, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian, and Jewish families. When I was in the seventh grade, I got to know several black students. The high school I attended was equally diverse. While it wasn’t perfect, and neither were we, it was, as they say, the best years of our lives.

What made our neighborhood work so well? While we did not all share the same ethnic or religious backgrounds, we did share a common moral background. The disintegration of neighborhoods, schools, and governments today is not a result of migrating ethnic groups. Rather, the disintegration is taking place through the importation of moral diversity. A generation or two ago, our ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity did not keep us apart because we shared the same moral values.

Today, multiculturalism is more than an appreciation of varied cultural expressions; it’s part of an overall philosophy of life. As it is being framed by social engineers, school curricula, and special interest groups, multiculturalism is intimately tied to ethics. An appreciation of diverse cultures is being used as a dodge to smuggle in aberrational moral standards that have the effect of diluting the impact of biblical Christianity. Multiculturalism is a type of moral polytheism: many moral law-orders based on many gods.

Generations ago, immigrants assimilated. They adopted a unified American culture while celebrating their ethnic and cultural heritage; and no one minded. Think of the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). Today, there are groups who don’t want to be Americans. They want Americans to acquiesce to their ethnic and moral diversity. In fact, some of them want to impose their minority status on the rest of us while they remain excluded from the mainstream. For them, politics is the way to make us conform to their way of thinking.

In 2007, The House I Live In was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” It’s a peek into another era that is a distant memory for people my age and another world for the younger set.

Plot

Frank Sinatra, playing himself, takes a smoking break from a recording session. He sees a group of ten boys chasing another boy and intervenes. He asks them if they’re Nazis and explains a few things about America, blood banks, World War II, and teamwork. He then tells a story how following the bombing at Pearl Harbor there was a successful American attack on an enemy warship. It was carried out by a Christian and a Jew of different religions fighting for the same cause. His main points are that we are “all” Americans because we share a set of common ideals.

The boys take Sinatra’s words to heart as they walk down the alley. The boy being chased is welcomed into the group and shows his appreciation to Sinatra’s intervention and kind but sober words.

A gang who laughed as they doused a woman in acid while she walked her six-year-old twins home from school have been jailed for a total of 44 years.

The attackers were heard laughing as the noxious liquid was sprayed at the screaming mother in front of her two boys outside Upton Cross Primary School in Upton Park, east London.

Speaking after the attack the woman, who suffered horrendous burns to her face and body, said: ‘I saw a man approach me who was carrying something in a bottle.

‘He threw it over me and after a few seconds it started burning. I was crying: “Please help me! Please help me!”‘

It is thought Yannick Ntesa, 25, sprayed the acid and made his getaway in a red BMW with Abdul Motin, 28, and 31-year-old Ahad Miah.

The 44-year-old mother, from Plaistow, fled to a neighbour’s home where water was poured over her burning clothes.

Some of the acid burnt her son’s satchel while another mother also suffered minor injuries in the attack on March 24, 2011.

The victim was rushed to the Royal London Hospital and later transferred to a specialist burns unit in Chelmsford, Essex.

Extortion 17- Set Up and Cover Up

06 Extortion 17If you haven’t heard of Extortion 17 it’s understandable. For some reason the obama regime has been working real hard to suppress any information regarding this incident and to keep it from getting into the Mainstream Reality TV media. Thankfully, their efforts to cover their involvement in both the incident and the cover up have blown up in their faces. The usual spin, stonewalling, deception and manipulation of events that is a hallmark of the obama regime has fallen short. Congressional hearings are on the way.

A fabricated outrage of synthetic racism can generate only a finite amount of distraction before people begin to tire of the baseless rants and violence. In contrast, this is a real story about real American heroes who paid the ultimate price as a result of the misdeeds committed against them. This is also a story of betrayal. A betrayal by a government of its most dedicated, loyal and faithful public servants. It is a story of systematic treachery against the fallen and against our nation.

Extortion 17 was the call sign for a Chinook helicopter which crashed while conducting a special operations mission in Tangi Joi Zareen, which is in the district of Sayd Abad in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. The crash took place on August 6th, 2011 , reportedly as a result of an RPG strike. It was the largest loss of American lives in a single day in the entire Afghanistan conflict. The circumstances surrounding the crash are suspicious to say the least.

Thirty Eight persons perished in the crash, thirty of those were American service personnel. Fifteen of the fatalities were members of Navy SEAL Team 6, recklessly identified three months earlier by our vice president as the unit which killed Osama Bin Laden. Also among the casualties were two other SEALS, five Navy Special Ops Support Personnel, five Army National Guardsmen and three Air Force Special Ops personnel. Seven Afghan soldiers and one Afghan civilian interpreter were killed as well.

The obama regime and the military establishment would have you believe that this slow-moving, sitting duck Chinook was brought down by the skill or luck of a Taliban fighter under normal battlefield conditions. This is not the case.

There are many abnormalities and deviations from protocol which are suspicious and indicate possible dereliction or criminality on the part of senior leadership involved, both military and civilian.

Some questions regarding these irregularities include:

  • Why was there no suppression of the known enemy positions from which the fatal attack was launched? Extortion 17 attempted a landing 3 ½ hours into an intense firefight.
  • Why transport 25 Seals and special ops troops together in a combat situation in a Chinook helicopter, a slow-moving transport helicopter which was totally inappropriate for this type of engagement?
  • Why was no cover provided through support aircraft at any time, during the mission into a live fire hot zone, in violation of standard protocol?
  • Why did the U.S. Military invite a Muslim imam to pray over (desecrate) the bodies, pronouncing that the “infidels” are lesser than the Muslims, that the Muslims are the winners and that the “infidels” are damned to Hell for eternity?
  • Why is the obama regime silent on the desecration of bodies of American service men but outraged at Koran burnings or service men urinating on dead Taliban?
  • Why were all of the bodies cremated and the explanation given that the bodies were burned beyond recognition when there is photographic evidence that at least some of the victim’s bodies were easily identifiable?
  • Why were the seven Afghani troops originally on the flight changed at the last minute with seven others with no changes made to the flight manifest? Were they part of a plot that brought down the Chinook?
  • Who ordered the Afghani troop change and for what reason?
  • Why were the two flight data recorders supposedly not recovered from the crash site? A claim that a flash flood washed them away was given to the families. If these boxes can be recovered from an ocean bottom, how much of an obstacle can a desert flash flood, if it actually occurred, really be?
  • Intelligence had indicated on May 11th, ten days after the killing of Osama Bin Laden, that over 100 additional Taliban fighters were in the area of the crash seeking specifically to exact revenge for the Bin Laden killing. Yet the military still sent these troops in unprotected into a live firefight. Who made this decision?
  • Why do the rules of engagement place a greater value on the “winning of hearts and minds of the enemy” than on the life of the service man/woman?
  • Why do protocols require the admittedly Taliban infiltrated Afghan National Army, Afghan National Police and Afghan Security Ministry to be involved in all planning of all special operations including flight routes and landing zones? This is the same as giving our operational plans directly to the enemy.
  • What was the urgency that necessitated this last minute operation? Supposedly this was an urgent mission but no explanation or evidence has been provided to indicate why.
  • Why were no members of Afghan military questioned during the investigation or in the writing of the investigative report of the crash? If they are so valuable that they must be included in every planning, one would think they might be valuable in the investigation as well. Perhaps some light could have been shed on the seven mystery Afghan soldiers and the story around the switch.
  •  How did Taliban know on May 11th, ten days after the killing of Bin Laden that seal team six or coalition force as they described it, would be an available target in Tangi Valley? Was it information provided by the Afghan military?
  •  No pathfinders were available in advance of the crash and the drone eye in the sky quit working at the time of the crash. The U.S. military also claims it did not know the identity of the helicopter that crashed for ten minutes. What caused the multi-layered surveillance and communications black out?
  •  After the crash, over one hundred U.S. military troops descended on the area, including pathfinders. Why were they not available before?

These are not my questions. These are the questions of the family members and concerned retired generals, admirals, active congressmen and women, and other high profile Americans who are working tirelessly to bring attention to this injustice.

The obama regime has casually ignored the many scandals that have plagued it in recent weeks and months, dismissing them as phony. They are not phony. The phony is the liar hiding behind a press secretary and hoping this will all just go away.

The administration has belittled, mocked and abused our fighting men and women for five years. They have installed rules of engagement that have undoubtedly resulted in the deaths and disfigurement of many of our troops for the sake of political posturing. Enough is enough. This issue will not go away. It’s time for this illegitimate anti-American regime to be held accountable for their despicable actions. It’s time for these families to be heard.

Bad News for Blacks

Richard Rahn at The Washington Times has an interesting article about how Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama have done by Black Americans. Of course they had different economic philosophies to say the least. Barack Obama regularly denounces “supply-side” economics and scoffs at the idea that a rising tide lifts all boats. And cutting taxes? Why that just favors the rich, don’t you know. reagan

Rahn sums it up this way: Reagan reduced taxes on job creators by 60%; Obama increased them by 17%. Reagan cut non-defense federal spending by a third; Obama has increased it, to say the least. Reagan cut regulations while Obama has greatly increased them.

  • Under Reagan, adult black unemployment fell by 20%, but under Mr. Obama, it has increased by 42%.
  • Black teenage unemployment fell by 16% under Reagan, but has risen by 56% under Mr. Obama.
  • The increase in unemployment rates has been far worse for blacks under Mr. Obama than for whites and Hispanics.
  • Inflation-adjusted real incomes are slightly higher for Hispanics and whites than they were in 2008, but are lower for blacks.
  • The labor force participation rate has fallen for all groups, but remains far lower for blacks than for whites and Hispanics.

As a famous man once said, you’re entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. And here they are:

obamaAre you paying attention Black America? Rahn goes on to say that, in a nutshell, a sane person would look at the above facts, admit that the program wasn’t working and change course – especially when you’re the first black President and over 90% of blacks voted for you and Oprah is kinda looking bad now for having you on the show. But noooooo, Obama is doubling and tripling down, mainly because he can, I guess.

But why?

Why do blacks put up with such high unemployment? Whites wouldn’t. They threw Jimmy Carter out on his ass and would do the same to anyone that ran white unemployment up anywhere near where it is for blacks. And why does Obama insist on running the country further into the ground? It’s puzzling, unless you buy into the theory that he’s just a Marxist who wants the place to fold and then everyone will depend on government.

I happen to be one of those people, but it’s not for the faint of heart.

If you knew nothing else about President Obama other than looking at the data, you might conclude that he was insensitive to blacks, given that they have done far worse economically under his administration than Hispanics or whites. What is striking is that the president and his advisers still seem to be clueless about which economic policies work and which don’t work. Despite his (at least for this week) emphasis on the economy, he persists in being the anti-Reagan, with anti-growth policies. In his speech Wednesday in Illinois, the president came up with no new pro-growth proposals, just more of what has not worked.

President Reagan reduced the maximum tax rate on job creators by 60 percent; Mr. Obama increased the maximum tax rate on job creators by 17 percent. Reagan cut non-defense, discretionary, federal government spending by a third as a percentage of gross domestic product; Mr. Obama has increased it. Reagan cut government regulations while Mr. Obama has greatly increased them.

The results are:

Under Reagan, adult black unemployment fell by 20 percent, but under Mr. Obama, it has increased by 42 percent.

Black teenage unemployment fell by 16 percent under Reagan, but has risen by 56 percent under Mr. Obama.

The increase in unemployment rates has been far worse for blacks under Mr. Obama than for whites and Hispanics.

Inflation-adjusted real incomes are slightly higher for Hispanics and whites than they were in 2008, but are lower for blacks.

The labor force participation rate has fallen for all groups, but remains far lower for blacks than for whites and Hispanics.

Most people, when confronted with the evidence presented above, probably would realize that they had been mistaken and then try a set of policies that were successful in the past. Not Mr. Obama. Given the tenor of his most recent talks, he seems to be intent on doubling down on his own failed policies.

It was true until the Industrial Revolution of two centuries ago, in a world of little economic growth, that for any individual to become better off, others would have to become worse off. Adam Smith was one of the first to understand that as a result of new technologies and better political and business institutions and organizations — and, most important, the rule of law and proper incentives — everyone could become better off without taking anything from anyone else. Despite the empirical evidence of the past 200 years that Smith and all of the clear and rational thinkers who followed him were right about economic growth, there is still the widespread belief that for one person to prosper someone else needs to suffer. It is this mindset that serves as the basic rationale for socialism and the state as an instrument of income redistribution. One would think that only the uneducated still would have this mindset, but it is most prevalent in universities.

Perhaps a major reason that professors and other educators are so dense when it comes to productivity increases and the resulting economic growth and real rise in living standards is that most classrooms are not much more productive than they were when Aristotle was speaking to a dozen or so students 2,500 years ago. By contrast, entrepreneurs see better ways of producing more for less and visualize and create things that never existed (i.e., the automobile, the airplane, the iPad, etc.) — and they create wealth and jobs. Mr. Obama comes from the government/academic class rather than the entrepreneurial class and has a much more static view of the world.

Reagan thought like an entrepreneur, and thus intuitively understood that economic growth creates opportunities for everyone — most important, for those who have the least. Mr. Obama has fewer senior advisers and top officials in his administration who have had significant private-sector experience than any previous president; hence, like all too many of the European statists and socialists, they think in static terms.

The unfortunate irony is that America’s first black president seems bent on continuing a set of policies that can lead only to continued slow growth or stagnation. The ones who are and will suffer the most from these policies are those who have the least. Mr. Obama no doubt has real compassion for the poor, but until he can begin to understand the destructive second-order effects of his policies and see that getting the foot of government off the forces of economic growth is the only real way to make life better for most of them, all too many will continue to suffer unnecessarily.

It’s Stupid Question Time.

  • Should the Muslim Brotherhood be represented in the crafting of U.S. domestic and foreign policy?
  • Should persons with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood hold positions of trust in our government?
  • Should our “elected representatives”, such as President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain be cozy, warm, fuzzy and protective of questionable persons in violation of their oaths to the U.S. Constitution?

Extra Stupid Bonus Rhetorical Question: If this is the stuff that is visible or leaking out about what is supposedly our government, can you imagine the traitorous and destructive things that they are keeping secret?

The correct answers are: (1) No, (2) No, (3) “How much did you have to drink?” and (Bonus) “You’d better get me one too.”

There is no shortage of evidence that the Muslim brotherhood is heavily involved in the U.S. Government. Any internet search will turn up names, positions and their links to the organization. This in itself is very troubling. It is especially concerning when the names and positions of the American enablers and facilitators are considered. It goes all the way to the top, or more correctly, begins at the top and permeates its way down. Some label this as infiltration. Yeah, like my eggs become infiltrated with hot sauce when I shake it on. It’s more like a deliberate placement of subversive elements by higher ranking subversive elements.

Americans love the “diversity” argument, that these are statistical aberrations that occur from inclusion of all types in our “Great Experiment in Freedom”, because we are so admired by the rest of the world blah, blah, blah. To that argument, I respond….Bull Crap! The Muslim Brotherhood is an organization which has as its objective, Universal Islam under Sharia Law. Universal means everybody, including you and me. It includes every person in the United States, and prescribes death to the infidels who do not convert to Islam. So our “president” is helping to bring this decision to your home: Bow to Mecca five times a day, pray to Allah, or be killed. This seems to me to be a little more pressing of an issue than who lost this week on “Dancing With The Stars.”

And virtually nobody in our government is challenging President Obama or his underlings as they march the world towards a showdown with our new Islamic “masters.” Are the rest of our government officials also members of Muslim Brotherhood, sympathizers, blackmailed, purchased traitors, intimidated go-along-to-get-alongs or just useful idiots? Whichever it is, it’s a losing deal for the average Joe Citizen.

Even one person of this terrorist belief holding a place in our government is too many. Coddling these people, and allowing them any input in formulating any policy is a traitorous act by their own organizational definition. They appear to have been selected specifically because of their affiliation. It’s as if the U.S. government recruiters decided, “You know, what we really need for this position is a nut job that wants to destroy America.” At least the regime composition is consistent, top to bottom.

It is obvious that President Obama created his Czar positions in order to skirt the appointment process and to minimize congressional oversight of his regime’s official appointments. He’s also created bureaucratic layers of insulation around them to facilitate and conceal their activities. After all, he’s got tons of borrowed money to pass around, might as well use it to destroy America.

The people are visible, but the substance of their activities is largely unknown. They hide and stall behind the shield of claimed “national security” concerns. That is one of the very few areas in which I agree with the regime. There are definitely some serious national security concerns. Only the Obama administration is the one creating them.

This brings us to the “why” and “for what purpose” portion of the discussion. Why is this happening and what is the objective?

We all know that President Obama is a Christian, he’s told us so many times. Even his racist former pastor has said so. He has been equally forthcoming in all areas of his background including; his college transcripts, his relinquished law licenses, his wife’s relinquished law license questions, his birth certificate, his use of a previously issued social security number, his travel to Pakistan in 1981 on a non-U.S. passport, etc. We can trust that he is not personally a Muslim and that there is no conflict of interest between a personal belief in Sharia Islamic fundamentalism and his oath of office.

It’s like the opposite of the Reagan trust but verify approach, called “just believe me and accept whatever I say.” That probably is not a good way to run a nation, especially when the track record of blatant deception is as glaring as theirs.

Our national gag reflex has been challenged to the max by President Obama’s “if I had a son he’d look just like Trayvon” and “Trayvon could have been me 35 years ago” as well as Hillary Clinton’s, “ If I had a second daughter it would be Huma.” There’s more sappiness spewing from this manipulative regime than the entire state of Vermont in March.

On the subject of Huma Abedin, the surrogate daughter and top aide Clinton is fondly doting, there are some extremely serious issues which are being ignored or covered up. This woman has access to sensitive intelligence at the highest levels and substantial influence as a personal Hillary Clinton confidant, at the time she was Secretary of State.

This is the same Huma Abedin whose father was a crucial leader in the Muslim Brotherhood, whose mother is still in a leadership position with the Muslim Sisterhood wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, and whose brother holds a similar leadership role affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Okay, so I guess we know what they talk about over Thanksgiving dinner is likely not “How ‘bout them Cowboys?.” Do you think her viewpoints might have a pro- Muslim Brotherhood slant? Why is the Saudi government backed Muslim Brotherhood not on a terror list but Ron Paul supporters and U.S. veterans are?

There is absolutely no way this woman, Abedin, passed a security clearance. Can’t happen, wouldn’t happen and never did happen. Did I mention her dual job “special government employee” sweetheart deal where she was getting paid twice, and her failure to disclose the income?

Then you have the retaliatory actions taken against a group of five U.S. Congressmen for exposing the security clearance issue and having the audacity to request verification of vetting documentation. A gaggle of pseudo republicans jumped on the five through their favorite whipping girl, Michelle Bachman. They were incensed that they would risk hurting Hillary’s surrogate daughter’s feelings with such a petty issue as national security. John McCain went nuts (not a very long trip for Rino Juan) as well as the ever-tearful Speaker of the House, John Boehner. A response to their letter has still not been forthcoming.

If you are one of those who would brand Ms. Bachman as a Tea Party fringe element and thereby dismiss her legitimacy, one of the other five petitioners was the Congressman from Texas, Louis Gohmert. Gohmert, aside from being thoughtful and well spoken, was a former Texas Chief Justice. When Louis talks, I listen.

There is a word for a government and government officials who allow the enemy into positions of trust. There are prescribed mechanisms for their removal from office and sanctions against the perpetrators.

If this were the Nixon era, these criminals would already be under congressional investigation and facing serious charges. Ah, yes, who would have ever thought that someone in 2013 would be romanticizing about the Nixon era being the “good old days” of justice in America? That was a time when the legitimate press still existed and took their responsibility to the nation seriously. They actually had a backbone and knew how to use it.

In today’s world, the only media of conscience is the internet media and we must therefore do our best to hold this criminal government accountable.

There is more here than meets the eye. Our activities in the Middle East are not being driven by America’s national best interest. National security, fighting terrorism or any of the other excuses provided are for public consumption by the masses looking for a simple feel-good validation. I challenge anybody to explain our multiple military presences as anything other than the vague and meaningless “war on terror.” I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The real terrorists are in DC. It is our passive permission to commit mayhem in our name both at home and abroad, against our Constitution and individuals, that may well lead to our own ultimate national demise.

America’s imperialistic projection into the affairs of Middle East nations and our fabricated war on terror are being conducted for indistinct and nefarious reasons. Ignoring the criminality of our leadership will only serve to destroy our freedom and liberty in exchange for preserving, in name only, a new and hideous version of what was once the United States of America.

FBI raids rescue 105 kids forced into prostitution

WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities rescued 105 children who were forced into prostitution and arrested 150 pimps and others in a three-day law enforcement sweep in 76 American cities, the FBI said Monday. The victims, almost all girls, range in age from 13 to 17.

The largest numbers of children rescued were in San Francisco, Detroit, Milwaukee, Denver and New Orleans. The campaign, known as Operation Cross Country, was conducted under the FBI’s Innocence Lost initiative.

“Child prostitution remains a persistent threat to children across the country,” Ron Hosko, assistant director of the bureau’s criminal investigative division, told a press conference.

The FBI said the campaign has resulted in rescuing 2,700 children since 2003.

The investigations and convictions of 1,350 have led to life imprisonment for 10 pimps and the seizure of more than $3.1 million in assets.

For the past decade, the FBI has been attacking the problem in partnership with a non-profit group, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

John Ryan, the head of the center, called the problem “an escalating threat against America’s children.”

The Justice Department has estimated that nearly 450,000 children run away from home each year and that one-third of teens living on the street will be lured toward prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home.

Congress has introduced legislation that would require state law enforcement, foster care and child welfare programs to identify children lured into sex trafficking as victims of abuse and neglect eligible for the appropriate protections and services.

“In much of the country today if a girl is found in the custody of a so-called pimp she is not considered to be a victim of abuse, and that’s just wrong and defies common sense,” Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said during a Senate Finance Committee hearing last month. Wyden co-sponsored the bill with Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio.

Benghazi Survivor David Ubben With Shredded Leg Waited For 20 Hours For Help After Fighting Alongside Navy SEALs

In another demonstration of the not so “phony” scandal called Benghazi, we are discovering that Diplomatic Security Agent David Ubben fought alongside former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty to protect the diplomatic mission that came under attack on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya. As he did, he was injured and said he had to wait 20 hours for help with a shredded leg.

According to Fox News, David Ubben waited for twenty hours after he was hit on that rooftop with Tyrone Woods and Glenn Doherty. His leg was shredded. We know that he has been recovering for ten months at Walter Reed as Catherine has just reported. He was defending the US consulate and then no medical aircraft was apparently sent to this scene to get him out of there.

How could this be?

It’s because the Commander-in-Chief was more engaged in CYA tactics and cover-up than he was in doing his job.

Ubben ran into the consulate to help recover the body of information management officer Sean Smith, and then fought alongside the two SEALS in an attempt to fight off the jihadist attack.

Mortar attacks eventually hit Woods and Doherty and one of those attacks shredded Ubben’s leg.

Ubben’s testimony would be crucial in understanding exactly what took place that evening. Congress is hoping that he will have recovered enough to testify as he was one of the only survivors to have witnessed both waves of attacks in Benghazi on September 11; the first at the consulate and the second at the CIA compound.

Catherin Herridge told Fox that source have confirmed that Ubben is a survivor and that all the details above did come from him.

Ubbens’ injuries were so severe that he is still undergoing treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center. Ubben was one of four State Department employees who were injured in the attack.

Those who know Ubben say the response on that night was “inadequate on many levels.”

Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) said that a medical plane was not sent for those injured. He would not confirm if that information came from Ubben or not, but by his response, it does seem that Ubben was the source of that information.

“A medical plane has a door big enough to get somebody on a gurney through it without turning them sideways,” said Gohmert. “We owed our people better than they got.”

The State Department’s independent review doesn’t list a medical plane being sent either nor was it mentioned by former State Secretary Hillary Clinton or former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.

So not only did Barack Obama leave Americans to die, but then his administration did nothing to send medical care in immediately to help those who were wounded. Again, this is a clear dereliction of duty on Obama, Clinton, and Panetta’s part.

Ubben is among several Benghazi survivors who have yet to testify. Many have already been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements by the Obama administration. What will we learn once their testimony is made public? Furthermore, how long will it take Congress to get a move on in dealing with the actions, or more appropriately, inactions of the Obama administration? We’ll wait and see. Meanwhile, continue to pressure your representatives and senators to get to the bottom of this and administer justice.

UN Declares Another Worldwide War On Biblical Ethics

The UN is doing something evil. It must be a day that ends in “Y.”

Having already acted as a willing tool of the US State Department Eugenics policy, pretending to endorse the freedom of mothers to murder babies or not (i.e. “abortion rights), while in fact openly bribing and coercing population reduction, this latest move by the United Nations is not that big a deal relatively. It is just one more monstrosity on top of many other monstrosities. Still it is worth noting, since it will surely be used for propaganda purposes in the United States. Fox News reports:

“Amid a surge of anti-gay violence and repression in several countries, the United Nations’ human rights office on Friday launched its first global outreach campaign to promote tolerance and greater equality for lesbians, gays, transgender people and bisexuals. Called Free & Equal, it’s an unprecedented effort by the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights to change public attitudes around the world on issues that have bitterly divided the U.N.’s own member states.”

In my opinion, this will ultimately prove to be a good thing if the UN pushes this. It will prove to the global world that, no matter how much money and power we possess in the Western world, and no matter what lovely promises we make, that we are a force for evil that needs to be resisted.

In fact, the UN is openly circumventing the will of its constituents and doing the will of a rich minority to brainwash the poor majority:

“Radcliffe said funding for Free & Equal is being provided by outside contributors, and is not reliant on U.N. funds, thus skirting any possible opposition from U.N. members who oppose gay-rights activism.”

Remember, even in Kenya, a country where residents regard President Obama as a kind of Superhero, the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, rebuffed Obama’s advocacy of perversion.

What is obvious from the UN campaign is that the organization does not want to spread the idea of libertarian freedom. Nothing in the UN campaign argues that it doesn’t matter to the civil power what sins consenting adults commit in private only between themselves. That may not be the position God wants civil governments to hold, but it would give these countries a plausible reason to stop prosecuting (or persecuting) homosexuals, without being forced to change all their ethical and religious beliefs.

But no, the UN is insisting that Kenyans and Senagalese and South Africans all the rest change their moralities. They must regard sexual preference as an “orientation” and therefore regard its practice as a kind of “civil right.” Rather than simply decriminalization, the UN is going to push for hate crimes laws, re-education, and the entire gamut of social engineering.

The result: the UN is going to intensify animosity and violence against homosexuals. They would rather see that happen than promote any kind of libertarian freedom.

One aspect of the moral blindness of the UN can be seen in their claims about anti-homosexual violence in South Africa:

“South Africa, in contrast, does not criminalize homosexuality and allows same-sex marriage, yet is plagued by extensive anti-gay violence, including frequent rapes of lesbians.”

I’m sure this odious crime is committed all the time against lesbians because lesbians are women and South Africa is notorious for frequent rapes of women. But is there extensive outside funding available for a campaign against rape in general? Nope. They just care about the homosexuals. The UN is taking a country rife with sexual violence of all sorts and using the part that fits their agenda.

This is the final battle, and it is one in which the United States, the real power behind the United Nations, is a force for evil in the world.

Obama Ignores Congress – Sends $500 million Of Taxpayer Money To Hamas

Once again we are bending the rules to send money to fund terrorists and once again the media lap dogs are ignoring it. Maybe it’s just not big news anymore. It’s not like the Royals had a baby or something.

Why is it not big news when we send aid to Palestinians? I am not sure but this seems to be the norm. Remember that $4 Billion Dollar Aid package that John Kerry put together for Palestinians a couple of months ago? Probably not because it went virtually unreported just as this case will.

In the interest of National Security, Barack Obama chose to waive congressional restrictions on aid to Palestinians on Friday Afternoon. The Washington Times reports:

President Obama on Friday afternoon ordered another waiver of congressional restrictions on direct funding of the Palestinian Authority, clearing the way for more U.S. aid.

In the one-page order, Mr. Obama said he was taking the action due to the “national security interests” of the U.S. The move comes as the administration is preparing to host renewed direct talks in Washington between Palestinians and Israelis for the first time since 2010.

The president in March directed about $500 million to be sent to the Palestinian Authority, also waiving the restrictions set by Congress. At the time, Secretary of State John F. Kerry said he was seeking to move another $200 million to the Palestinians.

Some lawmakers oppose the aid, both because of sequestration budget cuts and the Palestinian Authority’s ties to the terrorist organization Hamas.

Supporting Hamas? Interesting choice. Evidently CAIR is in need of help in that task. Donations must be down.

John Kerry and Google continue to recognize Palestine as a country so it’s no surprise that this administration would want to throw countless billions of dollars at them. If I was trying to create my own country I would certainly want them to be well-funded. However, like most Americans, my budget gives me two choices: an ant farm or Sea Monkeys.

If I ever get appointed Secretary of State, however… game on.

As for waiving the congressional restrictions… Let’s turn back the clock to see if we can find a recent example of the United States waiving restrictions on aid.

We don’t have to look too hard. John Kerry recently waived restrictions on aid to Egypt. That cost us $1.3 Billion and it seems to have worked out very well. One wonders if Morsi got the money into his bank account before all of the civil unrest started. Our foreign policy is a joke.

I am not sure why we even have a legislative branch in 2013 because it’s obvious that Obama and company are going to do what they want anyway.

Whether this money eventually finds its way into the hands of terrorists, or not, is not entirely the point. Americans are sick of hearing how we need to make cuts, tighten our belts and sacrifice while our government keeps sending money elsewhere.

All expenditures need to be done with the utmost discretion now. When we put our families on budgets we have to make tough choices. If we can’t send money to Palestinians because of our own economic troubles that would be understandable. We simply don’t have the money and need to quit pretending that we do.

And once again, as for the congressional restrictions that were lifted, the laws are in place for a reason. Looking back it would seem that the restrictions would have saved us from throwing money to a bad situation in Egypt and I suspect that time will reveal the same result here.

There is not much you can do, however, with a dictatorial-minded president in office.

This is the change that Americans voted for.

‘Don’t Cry For Me’. . . Coming soon to a city near you!!


The rest of America will follow Detroit………… Up until the last minute, most will simply stay in denial.

For 15 years, from the mid 1970’s to 1990, I worked in Detroit, Michigan. I watched it descend into the abyss of crime, debauchery, gunplay, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs and human depravity. I watched entire city blocks burned out. I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses and schoolyards. Trash everywhere!

Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it, and ignored it. Tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing, and food stamps!

With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10, and in one case, one woman birthed 24 children as reported by the Detroit Free Press, all on American taxpayer dollars.

A new child meant a new car payment, new TV, and whatever mom wanted. I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ flourish in Detroit. If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing.

Mayor Coleman Young, perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America, outside of Richard Daley in Chicago, rode Detroit down to its knees… He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence, and arrogance. As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The “IC” meant “in charge”. You can figure out the rest.

Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans.

As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state.

Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today. At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city for the free government handouts, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan, but most work in Detroit. As the whites moved out, the Muslims moved in.

As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife! Detroit may be one of our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike, and total separation from America.

Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islāmic mosques in Michigan, paid for by Saudi Arabian oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June, according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America. English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing.

Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city. In Time Magazine on October 4, 2009, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell, and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened. “If Detroit had been ravaged by a hurricane, and submerged by a ravenous flood, we’d know a lot more about it,” said Daniel Okrent. “If drought and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we’d see it on the evening news every night.” Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it, if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice.

However, Detroit, once our fourth largest city, now 11th and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country.

Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision making.”

As Coleman Young’s corruption brought the city to its knees, no amount of federal dollars could save the incredible payoffs, kickbacks and illegality permeating his administration. I witnessed the city’s death from the seat of my 18-wheeler tractor trailer because I moved people out of every sector of decaying Detroit.

“By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit’s treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services,” Okrent said. “The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers’ union to reject a philanthropist’s offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans, unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit today, the unemployment rate is 28.9%. That’s worth spelling out: twenty-eight point nine percent.

At the end of Okrent’s report, and he will write a dozen more about Detroit, he said, “That’s because the story of Detroit is not simply one of a great city’s collapse, it’s also about the erosion of the industries that helped build the country we know today. The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century.

If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can’t find a way to get up, what does that say about America’s future?”

As you read in my book review of Chris Steiner’s book,”$20 Per Gallon”, the auto industry will not come back. Immigration will keep pouring more and more uneducated third world immigrants from the Middle East into Detroit, thus creating a beachhead for Islamic hegemony in America. If 50 percent illiteracy continues, we will see more homegrown terrorists spawned out of the Muslim ghettos of Detroit. Illiteracy plus Islam equals walking human bombs.

You have already seen it in Madrid, Spain, London, England and Paris, France with train bombings, subway bombings and riots. As their numbers grow, so will their power to enact their barbaric Sharia Law that negates republican forms of government, first amendment rights, and subjugates women to the lowest rungs on the human ladder. We will see more honor killings by upset husbands, fathers and brothers that demand subjugation by their daughters, sisters and wives. Muslims prefer beheadings of women to scare the hell out of any other members of their sect from straying. Multiculturalism: what a perfect method to kill our language, culture, country and way of life.

I PRAY EVERYONE WHO READS THIS REALIZES THAT IF WE DON’T STAND UP AND SCREAM AT WASHINGTON, AND OUR STATE, CITY AND LOCAL LEADERS, THIS IS WHAT AWAITS THE REST OF AMERICA. IF YOU THINK MEXICANS AND MUSLIMS AND OTHER FOREIGNERS WILL EVENTUALLY FIT RIGHT IN THEN YOU ARE AS BIG A PART OF THE PROBLEM AS THEY ARE.

IF YOU THINK THIS IS JUST A BUNCH OF HOOEY AND YOU FEEL NO DUTY TO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY, THEN I AM SORRY, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE YOU TO STAND AND FIGHT.

Obama celebrates Ramadan: ‘Islam has contributed to the character’ of US

President Obama late Thursday celebrated Ramadan with a traditional dinner in the State Dining Room, saying that throughout the nation’s history, “Islam has contributed to the character of our country.”

In remarks before the Iftar dinner, eaten by Muslims after sunset to end the day of fasting, Obama quoted from the Koran, according to a White House pool report. “As the Koran teaches, whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see its results.”

“Muslim-Americans and their good works have helped to build our nation, and we’ve seen the results,” he added.

Obama, who has hosted five Iftar dinners, focused on entrepreneurship during much of his speech.

“Every day, Muslim-Americans are helping to shape the way that we think and the way that we work and the way that we do business,” he said. “And that’s the spirit that we celebrate tonight — the dreamers, the creators whose ideas are pioneering new industries, creating new jobs and unleashing new opportunities for all of us.”

Obama recognized three entrepreneurs, including Shazi Visram, the founder and chief executive of Happy Family Organic Superfoods; Aunim Hossain, chief executive of Tista Games; and Iya Khalil, who co-founded GNS Healthcare, a biotech research company.

“So Shazi, Aunim, Iya and so many of you who have traveled here tonight — each of you have traveled your own path, but each of you have also lived out an American story.

“And of course, this isn’t just the American Dream; it’s the aspiration of people around the world. It’s the basic human desire for progress, to find dignity that comes from work, to give our children something better.”

On Sunday, police in Omaha arrested Sergio Perez, 19, after he reportedly raped a 93-year-old woman in her home.

The woman was found bloodied, with several serious injuries.

Omaha.com reported:

The woman’s daughter, who also lives in the residence, called 911. Officers said they discovered Perez nude and on top of the woman in a bedroom that had blood on the “walls, floor, ceiling and bed.”

The prosecution said that Perez admitted to police that he beat and raped the victim “because he was angry at women after a night of drinking.”

Perez was found naked and passed out on top of the victim, according to police.

The victim’s cheekbones, nose and several teeth were broken in the ordeal. She remains hospitalized at this time in serious condition.

Perez, who speaks only Spanish, is employed as a roofer.

Perez has been charged with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree assault and burglary. He is currently being held at the Douglas County Correctional Center on an immigration detainer.

Are You Considered a terroristLt. Col. Kenneth Reyes is a Christian chaplain currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. As an ordained clergyman whose duties are to provide religious instruction and spiritual counseling, he has a page on the base’s website called “Chaplain’s Corner.”

Reyes recently wrote an essay entitled, “No Atheists in Foxholes: Chaplains Gave All in World War II.” This common saying is attributed to a Catholic priest in World War II, made famous when President Dwight D. Eisenhower said during a 1954 speech: “I am delighted that our veterans are sponsoring a movement to increase our awareness of God in our daily lives. In battle, they learned a great truth that there are no atheists in the foxholes.”

As reported by Fox News’s Todd Starnes, when Reyes referenced this famous line in his essay, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) contacted the base commander, Col. Brian Duffy, demanding he take action on Reyes’s “anti-secular diatribe.”

MRFF’s letter says that by Reyes’s “use of the bigoted, religious supremacist phrase, ‘no atheists in foxholes,’ he defiles the dignity of service members.” They accuse him of violating military regulations.

My legal research on this issue uncovered no regulation prohibiting Reyes’ speech, which looks like expression protected by the free speech and religious freedom provisions of the First Amendment. Military leaders did not respond to Fox’s inquiries asking the Air Force to identify any such rules.

Nonetheless, only five hours after MRFF’s complaint, the essay was removed from the website. Duffy has profusely apologized to MRFF for not stopping this religious leader from sharing religious thoughts.

But this response—which again appears to be a violation of Reyes’s First Amendment rights—is insufficient for MRFF. They said, “Faith based hate, is hate all the same,” and, “Lt. Col. Reyes must be appropriately punished.” (Emphasis added).

So MRFF is saying that the coercive power of government must be used to punish a military officer, who is also an ordained Christian minister, for making ordinary religious references consistent with his faith.

Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin of the Family Research Council—one of the leaders of a new religious liberty coalition for the military—responded, “A chaplain has been censored for expressing his beliefs about the role of faith in the lives of service members… Why do we have chaplains if they aren’t allowed to fulfill that purpose?”

MRFF is activist Mikey Weinstein’s organization. He called observant Christians “fundamentalist monsters” seeking to impose a “reign of theocratic terror,” and he described sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military as an act of “spiritual rape” that makes believers “enemies of the Constitution” who are committing an act of “sedition and treason” against this nation.

13 Year-Old Girl Raped in Texas and No One Cares

Earlier today Glenn Beck aired an emotion story on The Blaze TV of a thirteen year-old girl in Texas who ran away from the foster care community she was housed in while waiting to be adopted.  Perhaps knowing at thirteen her odds of being adopted were next to nothing, she ran away.  The first day she was picked up by three illegal immigrants who drove her to a hotel where 13 men raped her throughout the night.  The next morning they dropped her off in a random neighborhood.  A “kind-hearted” woman picked her up and brought her to another apartment where a man raped her, yet again.

You won’t hear about this story in the MSM.  Why, because headlines like “Anthony Weiner has a Long, Hard Battle for Mayor” or “Weiner Seems Limp in Recent Polls” rule the headlines.  Maybe news about Al Sharpton and his Poverty Pimp brigade chanting slogans to create a racial divide in our country, or news about a city that has been flogged to death by Democrats for the past 60 years into bankruptcy are more important.  This should cut us to the very deepest parts of our souls, if we still have one.  What does it say about us as a country that we care more about headlines like the ones above than about this girl who’s life is forever changed?

Glenn Beck’s Emotional Monologue on the Horrific Story He Says Is Being Swept Under the Rug Because It Doesn’t Further an ‘Agenda’

Glenn Beck confronted society’s morality on his television program Thursday evening, shocked and disgusted at the events of recent weeks.

He primarily focused on the horrific report of a 13-year-old girl who was allegedly gang raped by up to ten men in Austin, TX, before being sexually assaulted by another man after being dropped off with “nowhere to go.” Doctors said their findings were consistent with the allegations.

“Where is the outrage? Where’s Al Sharpton?” Beck said, pausing briefly with emotion. “Where’s Barack Obama? Shouldn’t the president give a speech saying something like, ‘This girl could have been my daughter, after all my daughter is just turning 14?’  …How about speeches on the dangers of letting illegals live in the shadows? How about the speeches of let’s just be good to each other? Where are the marches?”

President Barack Obama spoke several times about 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was shot by George Zimmerman in what a jury recently ruled was self defense. The president said Martin could’ve been his son, or even could’ve been him 35 years ago.  The issue aroused sustained national fury over the death of the 17-year-old.

But Beck said the 13-year-old girl should expect no such support.

“See, nobody really actually cares about people anymore,” Beck said. “It’s really only about politics.  It’s not about Trayvon Martin. They had to make him look like a little 13-year-old-boy…Why? Because it would help them get elected, or re-elected, or get them to cause trouble or get more trouble. But see this little 13-year-old-girl, you don’t have to doctor a picture of her…she is 13.”

He continued: “We are witnessing a society that is completely detached, and we are detached because we have an agenda. Why didn’t we tell the story of the 13-year-old-girl? Because of an agenda. The second rapist was black, the others were illegal immigrants, so we don’t tell that story. That’s not a good story, that doesn’t help us with our agenda…”

“Does anything even matter anymore? Does the truth matter? Is there such a thing as right and wrong? I don’t even recognize us anymore,” Beck said with disgust.

The revolution in Egypt was a feel good story for a couple of weeks but we will wait to see if the country truly takes a new direction. Whether Morsi and The Muslim Brotherhood are in power, or not, it does not change the fact that Christians are constantly persecuted and killed in Egypt simply because they refuse to bow down to Allah.

Amnesty International reports:

Security forces stood by and failed to intervene during a brutal attack on Coptic Christians in Luxor, Amnesty International said in a briefing published today. During the sectarian violence, security forces left six besieged men –four of whom were then killed and one hospitalized – to the mercy of an angry crowd.

In an attack lasting 18 hours on 5 July, four Coptic Christian men were killed and four others were seriously injured. An angry mob armed with metal bars, knives, tree branches and hammers attacked Christian homes and businesses in Nagah Hassan, 18 km west of Luxor, after the dead body of a Muslim man was discovered near the homes of Christian families. Despite local residents’ and religious leaders’ repeated calls for help, security forces on the scene made only half-hearted attempts to end the violence and sufficient reinforcements failed to arrive.

“It is outrageous that this attack was left to escalate unhindered in this way. Amnesty International has documented a series of cases in the past where Egypt’s security forces used unnecessary force or live fire during demonstrations, yet in this case they held back even though people’s lives were threatened,” said Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui, Deputy Director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Programme.

“A thorough, impartial and independent investigation must be conducted into the events in Luxor and the grossly inadequate response of the security forces to the attack.”

According to this report is seems quite plausible that a Coptic Christian could have killed a Muslim. Is that possible? It certainly is, but that is not entirely the point.

One of the constant international criticisms of Morsi was that his police forces would look the other way when Christians were attacked and killed. Bringing one rogue Christian to justice is much different than facilitating unnecessary violence toward lots of innocent people.

This is the reputation of Egypt and their law enforcement. It will be interesting to see if these attacks are treated differently in the future but so far it looks like the same old Egypt.

The fear shared by many who study the region is that nothing has really changed. Morsi lost favor with the people for a lot of reasons and not all of them had to do with  the economy. There are many reasons and you can not trust American mainstream media sources to report what is going on in Egypt.

A lot of people either do not know or have forgotten about the promise that Morsi made in June of 2012. He promised to get The Blind Sheik released from an American prison. The Wall Street Journal reported on 6-29-12:

Egypt’s President-elect Mohammed Morsi made a nod to his base in a speech on Friday when he pledged to seek the release of Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman from U.S. custody.

Sheik Abdel-Rahman, who is better known as the “blind sheik” is serving a life sentence at a federal penitentiary in North Carolina for his role in planning the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York City.

His detention has become a cause célèbre among hard-line Salafi Islamists whom Mr. Morsi counted on in his runoff against ex-regime loyalist Ahmed Shafiq.

Dozens of bearded Abdel-Rahman supporters, many in religious vestments, have slept outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo in a sit-in that has lasted the better part of a year. A full city block of downtown Cairo is festooned with banners bearing the blind sheik’s image—bearded, capped with a red tarboosh and 1960s-era wayfarer sunglasses.

When Egyptian authorities charged seven U.S. citizens, including the son of a cabinet secretary, with violating laws on foreign funding for nongovernmental organizations in the spring, Sheik Abdel-Rahman’s supporters lined up outside the courthouse calling for a prisoner swap.

That is not the prisoner swap that Obama and Morsi had in mind. Benghazi was more than likely a failed attempt at taking Ambassador Chris Stevens alive to use for a collateral exchange for The Blind Sheik. Lots of evidence has been collected to support this theory and if you would like you can read more about it here.

When important people, that were in “the know,” saw Morsi’s attempt fail they had no more reason to support or protect him. It was time to throw him under the bus and find someone else.

Has anything really changed in Egypt?

Time will certainly tell but my opinion is that things will be just as bad or worse. Morsi was just the scapegoat they needed. Future leaders may not wear the colors of The Muslim Brotherhood but they will likely be cut from the same cloth.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

September 11, 2013 will mark the one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks by Muslim jihadists on a diplomatic entourage, which resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including the United States Ambassador. On Monday I informed you of Representative Steve Stockman’s plan to force John Boehner’s hand on forming a special House committee to investigate Benghazi. On Tuesday, he followed through by unrolling a 60 foot long document with signatures of 1,000 Special Operations Veterans demanding a select committee in Congress to “end the cover-up” of the Benghazi scandal and get to the truth.

As I told you then, there has been a House Resolution languishing in Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) rules Committee since January. The Resolution was sponsored by Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and has 160 Congressmen signed on to it. This is what this petition is promoting.

Retired Col. Dick Brauer said, “I know my compatriots, both retired and on active duty were champing at the bit to be launched. We needed to try, have the guts to try.”

“That sends a message,” said Brauer. “That sends a message to those on active duty. That sends a message to those who have served that we will never leave you behind.”

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), member of the House Oversight Committee told Fox News, “You’ve got people who have been there, people who’ve been fighting for this country who cannot stand the fact that the Obama administration has continued to mislead the American public. They lied about what happened and when it happened.”

“They’ve been slow walking us, in providing the American people that information and so I totally sympathize with what they’re saying,” Chaffetz continued. “If, but for the House of Representatives we would still be listening to the Obama administration say that this was demonstration, which it was not.”

Chaffetz though agrees with Boehner in letting the House Committees, which there are about four currently that are investigating various scandals, continue to push on this issue, rather than have a select committee to investigate Benghazi. Boehner turned down a select committee back in July.

The Utah Congressman indicates that part of the frustration was the number of months prior in which there were no subpoenas being sent out. He also said part of the frustration comes because of the way the Obama administration has been handling things, rather how they have failed to respond properly to what they have been asked for. It’s very much similar to the Fast and Furious scandal in which Barack Obama issued executive privilege, while Eric Holder’s Justice Department sent over completely redacted pages for the House Oversight committee to look at, but have still not complied and sent tens of thousands of documents related to Fast and Furious, which is ultimately why he was found to be in contempt of Congress.

Chaffetz did say they were attempting to focus on the real obstructers, which he says is the White House. He also informed the American people that the week before last, they conducted over 25 hours of transcribed interviews, which was not relayed to the media. He also said that when they issued a subpoena to get someone from the White House to come up to Capitol Hill, they got another document dump from the State Department, which again just makes their task take longer to get through.

Ultimately though, Chaffetz says they want to get at the truth, which in his words deal with three distinct things that were involved in the Benhazi attacks. First he mentioned what led up to creating the “death trap” in Benghazi. Second, he said the House is interested in all that took place in the 25 hours of the attack. Finally, he said his committee was interested in the lies and misdirection that came from the Obama administration following the attacks.

Congressman Stockman said, “It has been nearly a year since terrorists killed an American ambassador and three other U.S. citizens in a coordinated attack.  Yet, not one survivor has been allowed to testify to Congress and repeated requests for information have been blocked.  Two different hearings have been canceled after witnesses were confronted and some intimidated.”

“If four members of Obama’s personal staff had been killed there would rightfully have been a full investigation and congressional hearings.  But not one perpetrator has been brought to justice and requests for witnesses and information have been blocked,” said Stockman.

“The usual channels for justice are being cut off.  We have no other choice than to file a discharge petition to force a vote of the full Congress on Congressman Frank Wolf’s bill creating a Select Committee with full subpoena power.  The survivors and the victims’ families deserve answers and all Americans overseas deserve to know why their Commander-In-Chief left men to die at the hands of terrorists.  All Americans owe Congressman Wolf a deep debt for his bravery in demanding answers and justice.”

I agree, answers and justice must be demanded. The question is, when will American have their questions answered and when will justice be dealt out?

President Obama Elected Pope!

Pope ObamaLast I heard, Pope Francis was visiting Brazil and his car took a wrong turn.  Obviously something dramatic happened because today it appears that Barack Obama is not only President of the US, he’s now Pope.  This should, once and for all, put a stake through the heart of the “Muslim” rumors.

President/Pope Obama pontificated at a campaign rally at Knox College today for one hour and six minutes.  A truly Clintonesque homily supposedly on his new initiatives to get the US economy moving.  This makes his hundred and thirty second “pivot” back to the economy for a speech, and let’s be clear, talking about the economy is the only thing he’s done for the last five years other than working to regulate the US economy to be the western equivalent of Zimbabwe.  Think of it as an affirmative action economy.

You’re probably asking yourself, “What’s this got to do with Barack being Pope?” and that’s an excellent question.  Given the level of pontificating he’s been doing lately, well, here’s Webster…

I’m old, and honestly I can’t remember a more pompous or dogmatic speaker.  I’m reasonably sure that he could be thinking he’s discharging the duties of the pontiff, and I know for sure that he’s in love with the idea of the Pope’s term of office (that would be “for life”).

The next question you’re going to ask is probably “What did he say?”  Another excellent question.  Here’s what Doug Schoen, a Democrat and a political strategist, pollster, author and commentator who writes for Forbes has to say.

Obama doubled down on his approach in 2012: division, polarization and moving to the left.

Much like in 2012, the President placed little emphasis on tax reform or growth. He spoke of bringing jobs back to America – specifically in manufacturing – but did not reveal many details of how he would achieve this.

We heard some talk of balancing the budget and deficit reduction, cornerstone issues of the protracted battle in the House at the end of last year and beginning of 2013. But there was no talk of a long-term deficit reduction plan or plan for entitlement reform that will save crucial programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

The President emphasized redistribution above all else …

Then there was Obama administration flack Dana Milbank who writes for the DNC Hotsheet Washington Post.

But even a reincarnated Steve Jobs would have trouble marketing this turkey: How can the president make news, and remake the agenda, by delivering the same message he gave in 2005? He’s even giving the speech from the same place, Galesburg, Ill.

White House officials say this will show Obama’s consistency. …

Yes, but this also risks sending the signal that, just six months into his second term, Obama is fresh out of ideas.

I would question whether Barack Obama ever had any “ideas”, at least ideas that he didn’t get from Karl Marx.

Then, there is Chris Cillizza (I like to quote him just so I can prove I can type his name) …

You could be forgiven if you thought you had heard President Obama’s speech on the economy today before. Because you have.  For most of the 2012 campaign. (Don’t trust us, read Obama’s 2012 acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.)

You’ve got the idea.  No new ideas, the same regulation driven, top-down, centrally planned Soviet economy that he’s been pushing for the last five years.  He did blame Republicans for a whole variety of things like causing gridlock, blah, blah, blah.

It will be most interesting to see how the TV media treat this first speech in what is billed as a whole series on the economy.  I’m sure MSNBC will hail it as Lincolnesque, the real question is whether the other networks will have the good sense to recognize that it’s a rehash of the stuff that hasn’t done anything to actually improve the economy or put people – other than bureaucrats – back to work.  If they figure it out maybe they’ll just ignore the speech and focus on new Prince George.

I find the print coverage interesting because it looks like President Obama is either losing or has lost the print guys.  Last time around with this same speech they were throwing rose petals at his feet.

The next three years could turn out to be, as the Chinese philosopher intoned, interesting times.

The Ed ShowIt is truly a sad thing to think that some people rely on MSNBC for their “news”.  After hearing some of the ridiculous stuff spewed by a few liberal family members, I am pretty sure they are avid viewers.

MSNBC is a disgrace.

Over the weekend, Ed Schultz, host of “The ED Show” on MSNBC had the following to say:

“Detroit, Michigan used to be, really, a symbol of industrial strength and manufacturing in this country, but thanks to a lot of Republican policies, the city is now filing for bankruptcy…”

“…earlier this year, (Governor) Snyder appointed emergency city manager, Kevyn Orr, who has taken over Detroit’s finances.  This, bottom line here, is an unelected official who began selling off public assets and slashing public services.  Detroit has just 1/3rd of its ambulances in operation.  The average emergency response time for Police in this city is 58 minutes.  And when you have horrible public services, no one wants to live in the city, which means less tax revenue to fix all of the problems and the needs of the public.  It is a very vicious cycle.  It’s the Republican way, and Snyder’s emergency city manager is to blame.”

Let us examine what Stupid, sorry, Ed, is trying to pawn off on his viewers.  Democrats have been in charge of Detroit since 1961, when the City’s last republican mayor lost his reelection campaign.  Since then, the city has had Democrat mayors and Democrat policies.  “Earlier this year” (ie: at most, less than 8 months ago), an emergency city manager was put in place by the Republican Governor of the state, and since he was unable to fix 52 years of Democrat destruction in 8 months, it is the Republican’s fault!

What on God’s green earth is this moron smoking?  How does this idiot have his own television show?  How stupid do you have to be to believe the crap coming out of this man’s mouth?

Using the same tactics used by “gay” rights activists, pedophiles have begun to seek similar status arguing their desire for children is a sexual orientation no different than heterosexual or homosexuals.

Critics of the homosexual lifestyle have long claimed that once it became acceptable to identify homosexuality as simply an “alternative lifestyle” or sexual orientation, logically nothing would be off limits. “Gay” advocates have taken offense at such a position insisting this would never happen. However, psychiatrists are now beginning to advocate redefining pedophilia in the same way homosexuality was redefined several years ago.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association declassified homosexuality from its list of mental disorders. A group of psychiatrists with B4U-Act recently held a symposium proposing a new definition of pedophilia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders of the APA.

B4U-Act  calls pedophiles “minor-attracted people.” The organization’s website states its purpose is to, “help mental health professionals learn more about attraction to minors and to consider the effects of stereotyping, stigma and fear.”

In 1998 The APA issued a report claiming “that the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from  childhood sexual abuse experiences.”

Pedophilia has already been granted protected status by the Federal Government. The Matthew Shephard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act lists “sexual orientation” as a protected class; however, it does not define the term.

Republicans attempted to add an amendment specifying that “pedophilia is not covered as an orientation;” however, the amendment was defeated by Democrats. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fl) stated that all alternative sexual lifestyles should be protected under the law. “This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these ‘philias’ and fetishes and ‘isms’ that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are. I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of this rule.”

Mark Twain On The Entitlement Mentality

He wanted to make sure that everyone he insulted in his final work would also be dead, along with close relatives. The autobiography is out now and there are plenty of the dead and buried insulted in it. But one group he insults is not only still alive—it’s growing by leaps and bounds. This group consists of people who look to nanny government for their sustenance, a group that has come to be known as the entitlement generation.

In his autobiography Twain comments that “Any man who is satisfied to be fed by another man rather than by the honest sweat of his own brow should be shot.” Twain cites numerous occasions in his life when he was taken advantage of while trying to do a good deed for another man. Twain’s well-intentioned deeds typically consisted of providing for people who claimed to be down on their luck. In variably, the person “helped” did not appreciate the help, did not pay back the money Twain loaned him, and did not change his profligate ways. This situation should sound familiar to anyone aware of what has happened to America during the Obama administration. In fact, if Mark Twain were still alive he would be aghast to learn that the phenomenon he decried has become an accepted and acceptable way of life in America.

Twain, never one to treat politicians gently, would have much to say about President Obama and so-called progressive liberals who not only condone the entitlement mentality, but promulgate it as a political strategy for gaining and retaining power. I am sure he would also have a word or two to say about Americans who think the government—that is to say the American taxpayer—owes them a living.  If Mark Twain could come back from the grave he would find an America much changed from the one he knew.  Twain’s was a more self-reliant America in which those who were truly down on their luck looked to charity for help, not the government, and those who could work did.

Mark Twain and people of his era knew instinctively that to allow a man to live off the earnings of others was to rob that man of his dignity, ambition, and self-worth, not to mention robbing the giver of his hard-earned income.  They also knew that when dealing with people you get more of what you reward.  Reward sloth through government entitlements or any other means and you will get more sloth.  It is really that simple.  The entitlement mentality is more addictive than cocaine and it can spread faster than a virus.  Allow a man to get used to being idle and he will want to be idle forever.  Reward idleness with government entitlements and people will make a living from being idle.

Laziness, sloth, and idleness are concepts that even the most ignorant, uneducated, unskilled individual is born knowing how to exploit to his advantage.  People who will not exert even an ounce of initiative, drive, or energy to take care of themselves will exert enormous effort, motivation, and innovation when it comes to playing the system to get the most for doing the least.  These entitled individuals then sire large numbers of entitled youngsters—usually out of wedlock—who grow up with the entitlement mentality instilled at their mothers’ breasts.  Mark Twain might have over stated his solution to this problem somewhat, but he at least recognized the need for a solution.

Jim Messina, the man who is Barack Obama’s former campaign manager and now is the chairman for Obama’s advocacy group, Organizing for America, recently said that the group is going to push for comprehensive immigration reform in the U.S. House of Representatives. “We are going to force it through the House,” said Messina.

The Washington Post reports that Messina added, “I will sit with you and cry when Barack Obama signs his name on that law and millions of people come out of the shadows.”

What exactly does Obama have in mind? It appears that it is pretty much everything that is in the Senate’s amnesty bill which passed 68-32 at the end of June. Not only did it contain a $5,000 penalty for hiring hiring citizens over legalized aliens, but there were a number of serious financial and national security issues that were in the bill as well.

Though OFA has not come close to meeting its $50 million goal for donations, it has barely received $13.1 million through June, claiming the support of 237,000. The organization is the first in history to go from a campaign to an advocacy group, as we told you about. Yet though they have held more than 6,500 events about the country calling on Congress to pass tougher gun-control laws and approve comprehensive amnesty, they have not been quite as effective at actually affecting legislation.

The advocacy group has received criticism from local party officials for targeting four conservative Democrats who would not support stricter background checks for gun purchases.

Tony Lee points out, “OFA generated embarrassing headlines when it only attracted eight people last month in Indiana and twenty in Tennessee for rallies in support of immigration reform.”

While the numbers seem to be against them fulfilling their mission, OFA chairman Messina says otherwise. “Of course, the naysayers are back saying, ‘Oh, change is hard,’ ” Messina said, adding, “You haven’t seen nothing yet. I just need double the amount of work and two and half times the money,” he said. “We are off to a very fast start . . . but we’ve got to double down.”

This simply means that we as Americans will have to continue to stand fast against the socialist agenda being put forth by the Obama administration and OFA and continue to demand that our leaders do what we tell them to. Of course, that will require that we remove those from office, like John Boehner, who doesn’t think it’s his job to take a stand on the issues and lead.

Lawmakers battle over push to create military ‘chaplain’ for atheists

Members of Congress are set to square off over a push to create military chaplains for people who do not believe in God.

The effort to create a chaplain for atheists and “humanists” has been building over the last several weeks. While the title might sound inherently contradictory, supporters say the point is to give atheists in the military someone who will pro-actively reach out to them and facilitate meetings.

Jason Torpy, president of the Military Association of Atheists and Free Thinkers, claims that 23 percent of those in the military ranks assert no religious preference. And he argues chaplains are not providing enough “positive outreach and support” in the way “they do for all of those beliefs that aren’t their own.”

As might be expected, the campaign is running into some heated criticism.

Lawmakers turned away a Democratic-sponsored amendment last month that would have created the post — and now, Republicans are trying to formally quash the idea, with an amendment to a defense budget bill that would require military chaplains to be affiliated with a particular faith.

“When it comes to the idea of an atheist chaplain, which is an oxymoron — it’s self-contradictory — what you’re really doing is now saying that we’re going to replace true chaplains with non-chaplain chaplains,” said sponsor Rep. John Fleming, R-La. “It’s just total nonsense, the idea of having a chaplain who is an atheist.”

Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., who is also an Air Force chaplain, said he often dealt with atheists who were simply asking about their problems.

“What I have found is so many times people in our world today just need someone to listen,” he said.

But he questioned the idea of creating a new atheist-specific position, as there are other counseling services available.

“They need to come at it differently instead of just saying we want an atheist chaplain,” Collins said. “I think there’s plenty of opportunities for them to talk.”

The Armed Forces has counselors of all kinds, including psychologists and psychiatrists. While calling a newly created post something else — like a counselor — might sit fine with the military, it doesn’t satisfy those who specifically want a non-faith chaplain established.

Torpy said current chaplains are not doing enough to embrace non-believers. Further, in response to the effort to require chaplains be affiliated with an endorsing faith, he said the Humanist Society is recognized as a religious organization by the one agency that matters, at least for taxes — the IRS.

“Basically, the standard is to be recognized as a church by the Internal Revenue Service,” he said.

The U.S. military could decide on its own to allow non-faith chaplains, but members of Congress are trying to both require — and prohibit — the post.

Fleming vowed to oppose it.

“Let’s define what a chaplain is. A chaplain is a minister of the faith — someone who believes in a deity of a spiritual life who is assigned to a secular organization,” he said.

Roderick Scott — the black George Zimmerman?

Did you notice during the George Zimmerman trial how the media kept repeating the salacious question “What if Trayvon Martin had been white?” They acted as if this question was the perfect response to Zimmerman defenders. They pretended that this was a question without a “safe” answer, but in reality, the question had already been answered.

In April of 2009 Mr. Roderick Scott awoke at 3am to the sounds of three young men breaking into cars on his street. He called the police and went down to the street to make sure the young men did not flee before the police arrived. He shouted at the three to “freeze” and told them that the police were coming soon. The three boys stood before the big man obviously considering what they should do.

That’s when Christopher Cervini (17) rushed at Mr. Scott uttering “I’ll get you” or “I’ll get him.” Roderick Scott fired twice, killing the teenager. The trial that followed was again a case of prosecutorial overreach, as they tried to charge Mr. Scott with manslaughter. Fortunately for Mr. Scott, a jury of his peers agreed with him that he did only what was needed to protect himself.

Afterwards the prosecutor opined, “I just hope it’s not a message to this community… that you have the right to shoot an unarmed 17-year-old kid for breaking into a car.” The problem is that Mr. Scott did not shoot young Christopher Cervini for breaking into his car, but for attacking him. While the Cervini family may now be in much pain over the loss of their son, he brought himself to his tragic end through a series of terrible choices. Roderick Scott had every right to protect himself; he did what he should have… and a jury of his peers agreed.

Oh, and Roderick Scott was a 42 year old black man about the size of an NFL linebacker. Christopher Cervini was a skinny, 17 year old white kid with a little bit of marijuana in his system. Scott was justified in the killing of the younger man not because of the crime that Cervini had committed, but because Scott rightfully feared for his own safety.

aclunaacpabsentThere was no “white uproar” over the shooting of a young white man at the hands of a black man with a “hero-complex.” The NAACP didn’t show up to argue that the shooter should be jailed, or that the Justice Department should pursue charges of civil rights violations against the man for killing Cervini. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all of the other race hate baiters stayed home for the trial. The trial was treated as a tragic situation that a young man brought on himself by turning to violence.

Which is exactly how the George Zimmerman case should have been treated. The next time someone tells you, “What if…?” You can tell them it already happened, and the outcome was exactly the same… minus the racial tension.

MSNBC’s Response To The Tea Party: The Tampon Party


I remember seeing a YouTube video a few years ago when the whole Tea Party thing started in earnest. The video featured a man clad in “Founding Father”-style garb, complete with the tri-cornered hat and talking in a British accent. He encouraged viewers to take tea bags and send them to their elected representatives to “send a message.” I thought it was rather silly, and not to mention wasteful of tea bags. (However, I do prefer loose leaf, so I guess I didn’t really care much about that aspect.) Sending tea bags to congressmen and senators wasn’t going to do anything to curtail government growth or to get politicians to start taking the Constitution seriously. And from that point on, “tea partiers” bore the brunt of many sick liberal jokes.Sending tea bags to elected representatives may have been silly and ineffective, but it was all symbolic. It was supposed to remind our elected leaders of the original “tea party” in Boston in 1773, where the Sons of Liberty dumped 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor as a protest against British tax policy and the East India Company’s monopoly on imported tea.

So, conservatives today use tea bags symbolically to protest big government. And liberals…well, they use tampons. How fitting:

“On her MSNBC show Sunday morning, Melissa Harris-Perry brought attention to Texas’ recently-passed abortion regulations—and the burnt orange-clad demonstrators who had fought their passage—in her own way: with a pair of homemade tampon earrings. ‘My producer Lorena made for me last week some tampon earrings,’ Harris-Perry said as she put on the jewelry. ‘The Texas state legislature said that you couldn’t bring tampons in, when these women were going to, in fact, stand up for their own reproductive rights.’

Suddenly, the tea bag campaign doesn’t seem so silly. How in the world is wearing tampon earrings going to send pro-life legislators a message about women’s “reproductive rights?” Don’t get me wrong. I get the connection between a woman’s “time of the month” and her ability to conceive. But being pro-life has nothing to do with regulating women’s reproductive or menstrual cycles. It has everything to do with protecting the most innocent of human beings whom abortion proponents callously call “masses of tissue” and “parasites” – completely far-removed from feminine hygiene products.

Are they trying to be shocking for the sake of being shocking? Or gross? We already know what kinds of people were protesting the Texas pro-life bill. They brought bricks, urine and jars of excrement. Capitol security had to confiscate those props and bar people from bringing tampons for fear that protesters would throw them at legislators. And that’s what prompted Melissa Harris-Perry to encourage her faithful followers to wear the tampons as earrings in order to get them through Capitol security. “So just in case that ever happens again, ladies, you can just bring them on your earrings,” Harris-Perry advised. If you recall, Cosmopolitan magazine even suggested (albeit half-way tongue-in-cheek) throwing menstrual blood on politicians at the Texas state capitol.

Yeah, I’m sure these things are really going to get pro-lifers to change their opinion on abortion. If anything, it will make pro-lifers more resolute.

Case On Religious Counseling of Homosexuals Wanting Out Could Set Precedent

Even though homosexuality is becoming more acceptable in today’s hedonistic society, it still carries a stigma about it as it should.  God says it’s an abomination.  It’s a sinful lifestyle, just like stealing, lying, incest, pedophilia, lust, greed and murder.

Gay activists believe that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality.  They also encourage millions of children and teens to explore same-sex attractions.  However, it’s not okay for a homosexual to explore normal straight relationships or seek counseling to help themselves overcome their sinful lifestyle and desires.  In fact, they feel so strongly about any form of counseling or therapy that helps homosexuals leave the lifestyle that they have tried to pass laws in California banning the practice.

Now, gay activists are filing lawsuits against religious organizations that help counsel those who want to overcome their homosexuality and lead a normal life.  One such religious group is JONAH (Jews Offer New Alternative for Healing).  Their mission statement reads:

“JONAH, Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing, is a non-profit international organization dedicated to educating the world-wide Jewish community about the social, cultural and emotional factors which lead to same-sex attractions. JONAH works directly with those struggling with unwanted same-sex sexual attractions (SSA) and with families whose loved ones are involved in homosexuality.”

“Our Rabbinical sages explain that because mankind has been endowed by our Creator with a free will, everyone has the capacity to change. Furthermore, the Rabbis emphasize that parents, teachers and counselors have a special responsibility to educate, nurture, and provide an opportunity for those struggling with unwanted same-sex attractions to journey out of homosexuality.”

“Through psychological and spiritual counseling, peer support, and self-empowerment, JONAH seeks to reunify families, to heal the wounds surrounding homosexuality, and to provide hope.”

JONAH like most other religion based counseling groups does not go out and hunt down homosexuals and force them to convert to a straight life.  Rather they provide the counseling and support to those who seek it voluntarily.  The nearly 70 religious groups that provide counseling to help those who want help all report a number of success stories and can document that the counseling and therapy do work.

Gay activists know that these groups are being successful and they can’t allow that to happen.  In typical liberal fashion, they attack the religious groups by claiming they are frauds and that they are hurting people.  They fear the success of groups like JONAH so much that they are now taking legal actions against them.

A far left-wing liberal group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center filed a lawsuit against JONAH, claiming they are frauds and want the courts to stop them from saving anymore people from their debauched lifestyles.  Charles LiMandri, President and Chief Counsel of Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund is representing JONAH in their court hearing that started last week.  He says that SPLC is doing their best to deprive homosexuals to their right of self-determination and religious freedom when they consider that the Torah teaches that it is a forbidden sin.

LiMandri described the lawsuit saying:

“The SPLC is taking the position that telling homosexuals that you can help them overcome same sex attractions is a fraud, that there’s nothing wrong with having same sex attractions and there’s nothing wrong with being involved in homosexual behavior.”

“Because JONAH is a religiously-based organization, the idea it follows is that homosexuality is disordered.  Not because it’s a mental disease or defect, but because it’s a sinful behavior and it’s against God’s plan.”

LiMandri was planning to ask the court to dismiss the lawsuit on constitutional grounds including the First Amendment right of freedom of religion.

Whether you realize it or not, there is a lot riding on this lawsuit.  If SPLC wins, it will give every other gay rights group the legal precedent to challenge and stop all religious groups from trying to help those who seek help.  Homosexuals who want to change and want someone to help them overcome their sinful lifestyle will have no one left to turn to for help.  They will be left to struggle on their own and often that struggle can lead to serious consequences including suicide.  It would also mean a severe legal blow against the First Amendment rights to the freedom of religion and speech, further weakening our already crumbling Constitution.

Student Suspended For Asking That Class Be Taught In English

“Absurdity exists so that we may see what lies outside the bounds of normal human behavior. For without absurdity, we may never understand normality.”

Obama is still lying, John McCain is still spineless, and the Left is still trying their best to incite racial outrage. The world does not change—at least in terms of basic human behavior. In that vein, another thing that doesn’t change is absurdity.

In a story that pushes the boundaries of ridiculousness, an Arizona community college student has been suspended for filing a complaint about one of her classes. Terri Bennett complained that her class discussions were being dominated by Spanish language speaking. According to Town Hall:

“In early April, the student, Terri Bennett, formally requested a rule limiting classroom discussion to English. Nursing program director David Kutzler allegedly responded by called her a ‘bigot and a bitch’…Kutzler allegedly charged that Bennett was ‘discriminating against Mexican-Americans’ and threatened to report her complaint as a violation of the school’s policies against discriminatory behavior and harassment.”

Let’s break this down:

1. The Arizona Constitution mandates that classrooms be taught in English. That alone makes Bennett’s suspension illegitimate.

2. Requesting that classroom discussions be in English is not bigoted. This is, in fact, America. Being that English is the language of this country, classes should be taught in English. It is up to those who don’t understand English to learn the language of the country in which they live. It is not Bennett’s problem to deal with.

3. Finally, suspending a student for such a request is deplorable. This is yet another example of the American education system bowing down to the gods of political correctness. It’s a sickness.

This story is so absurd that it could have been a satire. Political correctness is laying waste to our country–especially our educational system. It is a disease that eats away at the heart and soul of what it means to truly educate. Political correctness is a cancer that—If not stopped—will empty out our minds, leaving nothing but a hollow shell.

Terri Bennett’s community college scuffle is just the tip of the iceberg. Our PC culture has become a well organized machine, capable of killing us all, if we allow it.

This is a stunning example of modern American absurdity. This is not normal—or at least it shouldn’t be. Unfortunately, issues like this are becoming routine.

The American education system has failed. It’s time to start from scratch. We can begin by lifting up our heads, getting off our knees, and standing up in defiance of the politically correct state gods. We need to look them straight in the eyes, and declare war on the archaic American educational system.

If we don’t take a stand right now, political correctness will destroy us all.

If your government believes the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses, but is run by idiots.

What a country! How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America!

How to Prepare for the Pending Race Riots

skipsI’ve been struggling with this article for several days now. Primarily because I didn’t want to write anything about Trayvon Martin or George Zimmerman or the racial tension we’ve been having lately. Nonetheless, I find myself compelled. I’ve never been one to ignore the elephant in the room, and to do so now would be inconsistent and dishonest on my part.

But I’m not going to talk about the guilt or innocence of George Zimmerman; I won’t discuss whether or not Trayvon was a good kid or a juvenile delinquent. Instead, I want to discuss what’s happening right now across the country and what people need to do to prepare for the onslaught, assuming they want to survive.

Now let me preface this by saying I’m speaking as much to black folks as I am to white people.  Because, after all, most of the race riots played out in the past were done in black communities. It was black people burning down the homes and businesses of their fellow black neighbors. If you live in the inner city, you need to get prepared – and fast!

As a personal defense instructor, here is my best advice:

1. Get out of the city!

If you live there – move! If you don’t have to visit, then by all means stay away from places like LA, Chicago, New York City and other racially charged urban centers. There’s an old saying among self-defense enthusiasts:  “When the crap hits, don’t stand in front of the fan!” I live in rural Michigan and I seldom visit Detroit or Chicago. I just won’t go there. Unless I absolutely have to, it makes zero sense for me to visit a high-crime area. So if you live in one of these places then please consider moving to a rural setting. If you have friends in the country or own a cottage, now might be a good time to go on vacation.

2. Buy a gun!

If you can legally possess a firearm, then by all means get one. For in your home a pump shotgun works pretty good. You’ve got a minimum of five rounds of double-ought buckshot, and that will put most overweight crackheads flat on their butts. If you’re expecting a riot, then my weapon of choice would be an AR15 with several loaded thirty-round magazines. (Of course, an AK47 is good as always.) For home defense away from home you’ll be needing a reliable pistol. I recommend the highest caliber you can accurately control. No one ever came out of a gunfight saying, “Oh man, I sure wish I’d had smaller bullets!” In the event of mass rioting, you may have to shoot several dozen people to stop the threat, so don’t forget spare ammo. (Because no one ever went into a gunfight saying “Oh, man, I sure wish I had fewer bullets.”)

3. Get firearms training!

Okay, so you’ve got a gun. Unfortunately, owning a gun doesn’t make you a gunfighter any more than owning a guitar makes you a rock star. You should get the best training you can afford. Start with an NRA gun safety class, but don’t stop there. There are some great national schools if you can afford them. 4. Get a concealed carry permit!

Unless you’re a wall flower who never leaves your house and has your Cheetos and Mountain Dew delivered to your front door, this is a must. Most people spend the majority of their time at work or school or out on the town. Are you just going to forfeit your ability to defend yourself unless you’re in your home? Well, if you live in Chicago or New York or California, I guess you have no choice. But then again, that gives credence to my first advice “Get out of the city!” Go ahead and move to Texas. Why not? Everyone else is. I have to admit it’s crossed my mind a time or two.

5. Buy self-defense insurance!

Most people wouldn’t think of this one, but you can bet if George Zimmerman didn’t have it before, he has it now. Anyone who carries a gun for self-defense and wants to protect his or her assets as well as their freedom has a policy like this. There are many out there, so you just need to shop around. I hold two such policies:

I’m very happy with both services. They offer legal grants, legal referrals, expert witnesses as well as educational opportunities before and after a deadly force altercation has occurred.

While I was writing this article, my wife walked up behind me and started to read over my shoulder. (I hate when she does that.) And of course she had to criticize by saying my first point wasn’t valid because most people can’t afford to move out of the city. That doesn’t matter and the point is still valid and probably the most healthy piece of advice I can give you. This is a very bad time in American history to live in a large city. When the crap hits the fan, major American cities are ground zero.

Benghazi Survivors Forced To Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements By The Obama Administration

According to Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), who put forth a resolution back in January to form a select House committee to investigate Benghazi, which was supported by 700 retired Special Forces and the mother of slain information management officer Sean Smith, said on Thursday that survivors of the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead, had been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements by each of their respective agencies in the Obama administration. This would essentially prohibit them from speaking about the attack on September 11, 2012.

 

“According to trusted sources that have contacted my office, many if not all of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks along with others at the Department of Defense, the CIA have been asked or directed to sign additional non-disclosure agreements about their involvement in the Benghazi attacks,” Wolf said on the floor of the House. “Some of these new NDAs, as they call them, I have been told were signed as recently as this summer.”

If proven to be accurate, Wolf said “this would be a stunning revelation.”

“It also raises serious concerns about the priority of the administration’s efforts to silence those with knowledge of the Benghazi attack in response,” Wolf said.

Congressman Wolf also said that he was requesting a list of all personnel or contractors who were asked to sign non-disclosure waivers from the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of Defense, and the State Department.

“Perhaps through a list of all the employees that have signed the NDAs related to Benghazi we may finally develop a witness list to subpoena for eyewitness testimony to learn what happened that night where we lost four American lives,” Wolf continued. “I do not expect the Obama administration to be forthcoming with answers, but if this Congress — if this Congress — does not ask for the information and compels its delivery the American people will never learn the truth.”

On Wednesday Representative Steve Stockman (R-TX) issued a statement in which he praised the work of Representative Wolf. “Congressman Wolf has fearlessly led the fight for justice on this issue,” Stockman said. “The whole nation owes Congressman Wolf a deep debt of gratitude. Some House Democrats now appear to be openly interfering with the investigation and intimidating witnesses, which only raises more questions about the White House’s involvement. The only way we’re going to get a clean and thorough investigation is by forcing a vote with a discharge petition.”

Well isn’t that just like this administration? They swoop in and apply pressure not only on whistleblowers, but on those who would be able to provide valuable testimony as to the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi.

House Resolution 36 continues to gain support. When I first reported on it on April 11, 2013, Congressman Wolf’s office confirmed they had 89 co-sponsors and over that weekend the co-sponsors grew to well over 100. However, it was RINO House Speaker John Boehner who said he wouldn’t allow the select committee to investigate Benghazi because he doesn’t “think it’s risen to that level.”

Congressman Says Benghazi Survivors Forced to Sign Non-Disclosure Forms

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-VA,  said sources told him that survivors of the Benghazi terrorist attack have been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements and now the Virginia congressman is demanding to know who else was forced to sign the documents.

“According to trusted sources that have contacted my office, many, if not all, of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks – along with others at the Department of Defense and CIA – have been asked or directed to sign additional Non-Disclosure Agreements about their involvement in the Benghazi attacks,” Wolf said on the House floor. “Some of these “new” NDAs, as they call them, I have been told, were signed as recently as this summer.”

The congressman expressed grave concerns that federal workers might have been coerced into silence.

Wolf also referenced a Marine Corps Times report that indicated a Marine colonel whose task force was responsible for special operations in northern and western Africa at the time of the attack is still on active duty. However, it was claimed the colonel was retired and therefore could not be forced to testify before Congress.

“If these reports are accurate, this would be a stunning revelation to any member of Congress – any member of Congress that finds this out – and to the American people,” Wolf said. “It also raises serious concerns about the propriety of the administration’s efforts to silence those with knowledge of the Benghazi attack and response.”

Wolf is sending letters to the CIA, Defense Department and State Department asking for a list of all their personnel and contractors who were required to sign the non-disclosure agreements related to Benghazi.

D.C. Republicans are Stoking a GOP Civil War

The immigration debate threatens to tear the Republican Party apart–not because of disagreements over the principle of immigration reform, but because of disagreements over strategy and tactics that may become insurmountable. The party leadership, believing that immigration reform will appeal to Hispanic voters, is attempting to impose its will on rank-and-file conservatives who object to current legislative proposals.

The recently-passed Senate immigration bill includes provisions for border security as well as the legalization of illegal aliens. Conservatives believe, however, that legalization must be contingent on border security, since the Obama administration has a record of refusing to enforce laws it does not like. Neither the so-called “triggers” in the bill, nor the new spending on border security, provide adequate guarantees, conservatives say.

Republican leaders concede these arguments, but argue that failing to pass any legislation now will simply make the problem worse. Privately, some of the same Republican leaders argue for passing the legislation for purely political reasons, in order to stop the attrition of Hispanic voters. The party’s recent internal “autopsy” insists bluntly that Republicans “must embrace and champion comprehensive immigration reform.” Period.

Opponents of the bill point out that the party’s share of the Hispanic vote fell after Reagan’s amnesty of 1986, and that Mitt Romney would have lost in 2012 even with an overwhelming majority of the Hispanic vote. The grass-roots suspects the leadership’s real motivation is to reward special interest lobbies. The leadership, meanwhile, has joined Democrats in accusing conservative opponents of the bill of “nativism.”

Broadly speaking, however, there is no substantive disagreement among Republicans over immigration. There are a few groups that oppose any increase in immigration, but they are a small minority. The real fight is about whether Washington can be trusted. The same fault lines appear elsewhere–in the NSA scandal, for example, where grass-roots anger about the Bush-era program is driven by mistrust of Obama’s government.

These are tactical disagreements, but they are serious, and perhaps fatal. Members of the Republican elite are warning openly that they will leave if immigration reform does not pass. Some conservatives, notably Sarah Palin, have suggested that a third party may be an option. Meanwhile, the party is failing to exploit public outrage over a string of Obama administration scandals to build support for the 2014 midterm election effort.

What the party needs most is leadership that can reconcile the two factions. However, much of the Republican establishment is committed to asserting its control. In the midst of the immigration debate, House leaders are joining their Democratic colleagues in a nationwide tour, “Become America,” that will attempt to impress upon voters the need for immigration reform–even though only 6% of Americans say it is their top priority.

That marks a stark contrast from 2009, when Republican leaders reacted to the 2008 defeat by embarking on a “listening tour.” The result was that newly-motivated conservative activists, driven by the Tea Party, rallied behind a successful Republican election effort. In 2013, Republican leaders are no longer listening. They are lecturing–and raising money to protect moderate incumbents from conservative primaries.

The party’s grass-roots, whose favored leaders have abandoned them by embracing immigration reform (Marco Rubio) or accepting Obamacare’s Medicaid funding (Chris Christie, Rick Scott, and others), have no way of responding. They rally around junior Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz, who have little power but put up a good fight. And they continue to adhere to conservative media, especially on talk radio and the Internet.

Republican leaders inside the Beltway increasingly resent the power of conservative media. They have begun to identify with time-worn Democratic criticisms–that talk radio is bigoted and shrill, that conservative bloggers are unreliable, that grass-roots heroes are “wacko” (to borrow from Sen. John McCain). They fail to understand the gap that conservative media fill–namely, the need for coherent, courageous opposition.

Opposition takes many forms in conservative new media. Rush Limbaugh celebrates opposition for its own sake: “What’s wrong with saying ‘no’?” he often asks. Mark Levin is about to offer a pro-active opposition agenda for constitutional reform in his forthcoming book, The Liberty Amendments. And Breitbart News offers a basis for political opposition by reporting news from an unabashedly conservative perspective.

The left created its own new forms of opposition, and opposition media, during the Bush era. The difference was that the anti-war movement and the “netroots” toppled Democrat leaders and purging the centrists. Conservatives have been more patient with the GOP establishment, but that patience is wearing thin. Those Republicans in Washington who are stoking the fight should try listening again–before it is too late.

Catrina Engle is just a simple mother of two and wife to her husband. On the evening of March 3, 2013 she was leaving the Mission, Kansas Post Office and had just placed her two children, ages 4 and 2, in her minivan when she was approached by Officer Michelle Pierce and ordered to render her identification without reason. From that point on the day turned into a tragedy for her as she was arrested and a body cavity search was conducted out in the middle of the public by Officer Pierce. What was her crime? Apparently her kids put a couple of pebbles in the mailbox and though the Post Officer was closed, she tried to get someone to help her and when they wouldn’t she was in a loud conversation on her cell phone in the lobby with her husband before leaving. Mrs. Engle recounts what happened after she put the girls in the minivan. She says Officer Pierce approached her. “She stated, “I’m going to need your identification.” I asked her, “Why?” Again, she said, “Give me your ID.” I again asked her, “Why?” The third time she was more demanding & said, “Give me your identification.” I then agreed that I would give her my ID but I wanted to know why first. I said “Okay, but why?” She still would not tell me. At that point, you can see what happens in the video. Without warning, she started walking towards me, twists my arm, starts cuffing me, flings me around & slams me on the ground while finishing cuffing me. At that point, Officer Tim Gift arrived & assisted her. They hurt me when they dropped me on the ground & also got my thumb stuck in the cuffs. You can hear my toddler age girls crying & screaming in the car as they took me down & throughout the hour or so they had me there.”

The video backs up the ridiculous nature and force of her arrest.

A third officer who showed up later and who Mrs. Engle claims threatened to call Child Protective Services and have her children taken away from her, was not listed on the report. However, Engle found out who the officer was via a third party, a local senior citizen who said he had been abused by the same officer. His name is Tige Dean.

No attempt was made to look after Engle’s girls over the following hour that she remained on the scene. Her oldest girl thought the officers were going to shoot her mother, according to Engle and the girls cried the entire time.

Engle attempted to get the officers to call her husband to come and get the girls. They finally did it though it took a long while for them to do so. One of the officers even mocked her stating that she had not given him the number. She immediately rattled the number off and he simply threw up his hands, eventually making a call just before she was subjected to a body cavity search.

Engle also pointed out the nature of raising her voice in the lobby. “I later found out that the Postal Employee, Yvette Jenkins, called 911 after saying that I was yelling at her, kicking the door & throwing rocks at her through the mail slot! In reality, I was arguing with my husband on the cell phone in an empty Postal lobby while using the automated machine. My bored toddlers dropped pebbles in the mail slot. You can also hear Yvette Jenkins say on the video while the cops are talking to her that the Post Office has protocol & that they asked me to leave. Yet another lie. She was actually in the back warehouse area where I couldn’t even see her & she never came out to speak to me. I was leaving on my own accord.”

You will see in the video that they subject Mrs. Engle to a humiliating body cavity search right out in the open while cars are driving by, which is completely uncalled for.

Though dashcam video should be enough to bring charges against these tyrants, one would like to see them permanently removed from the force and punished for their behavior.

“I’m disgusted with The Mission Kansas PD,” said Engle. “From the illegal cavity search, to horrifying my children, to the lies in the police report, lies from the post office, trumping up charges on me to cover their asses & then lying again saying there was no videos of anything– out of three police dash cams & a federal building (Post Office).”

“We have also been threatened by the Prosecutor of Mission, Kansas himself–Mr. David Martin,” she concluded.

Obviously they were able to obtain at least one of the dashcam video feeds from one of the cars. I find it hard to believe there are not cameras inside federal post officer.

Calling the reaction to the George Zimmerman a “frenzy” and “polarization,” Dr. Ben Carson urged people to pause and look at all the facts in the case before rushing to judgment.

“I think it would do us all well to step back and do something that I always suggest before rushing to judgment, put yourself in the place of the individuals involved,” the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.”

“We need to be saying what can we learn from this rather than allowing ourselves to be whipped into a frenzy with no evidence from what I can see that this was preplanned or that there was malicious intent,” said Carson, who became well known politically after challenging President Barack Obama’s economic policies at a prayer breakfast earlier this year.

Carson added, “None of us knows what we would do if somebody is getting the best of us in a fight and we have a gun. There are a lot of implications here that need to be talked about.”

Saying the term “racist” was thrown around too easily, Carson suggested taking a step back, saying, “We really should look at all the facts before we start impugning people with that name.”

Carson, who is black, also addressed use of the term white Hispanic – which some media outlets are calling Zimmerman — saying it was “hilarious” and said, “Why don’t we call Obama a white African-American? This is craziness. Why do we get so involved in superficial words when we should be looking much deeper at people and at situations?”

Jesse Jackson: Get The UN Involved in the Zimmerman Case

The idea of getting the federal Department of Justice involved in what should have remained a local story is preposterous. But Eric Holder announced recently that his department would be opening an investigation and will possibly bring civil rights charges against Zimmerman. We’ll see. Holder may have bitten off more than he can chew, since there isn’t any real evidence that Zimmerman “profiled” Martin because he was black.

As over-the-top as it is, getting the DOJ involved just isn’t enough for some people. Take a look at what Jesse Jackson said:

 “Congress must act. And it’s time to call on the United Nations Human Rights Commission for an in-depth investigation of whether the U.S. is upholding its obligations under international human rights laws and treaties.”

All because a jury decided that Zimmerman was not guilty? Earlier, Jackson was complaining that there were no men or blacks on the jury. Only women. White women:

“Well, it was a stretch, trying to avoid the obvious. There was no–you speak of jury of your peers: there was no man on the jury—Trayvon was a black boy—there was no man, no black on the jury. So at least the idea of jury of your peers was a stretch all the while.”

The “jury of your peers” is something that applies to the person being accused of a crime. That would be George Zimmerman. And he was afforded a jury of his peers (except that they were women).

Jackson balks at an “unfair” jury composition, but then says we need to get an international body involved to determine whether or not we’re abiding by international human rights laws. But we are. Zimmerman was given a fair trial. Many argue that he shouldn’t have even been prosecuted in the first place because of a lack of evidence. That doesn’t mean that he was innocent; just that there wasn’t enough to prove one way or the other. That’s another one of those “human rights” that I’m sure Jesse Jackson doesn’t want to bring up in the context of this trial – the presumption of innocence until the accused is proven guilty. Even the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights acknowledges that one.

If the UN doesn’t deliver for Jesse Jackson, I’m sure he can call on the Galactic Republic.

More Proof That The Inmates Are Controlling the Asylum


If you live in California, does any of this bill make sense.

Current State law requires that in order to vote you have to be a citizen, and to be a citizen you must be able to read and write English to pass the citizenship test.

So now, the Democrat controlled California legislature wants to allow non-citizens to work at the election polls to help people with their ballots.

Well, if you have to know how to read and write English, why exactly would you need help from a non-citizen who does not speak English?

This is apparently an attempt by those who would like to continue blurring the lines between legal and illegal voters, because it is more understandable for poll workers to be alerted when someone comes to vote and cannot speak or read English enough to vote.  Additionally, this would open the door to allowing people who are not even citizens of the State of California to become poll ‘watchers’ in Local, State and Federal elections!!

Are these people nuts!?  No, they aren’t, because this action has far more sinister purposes.  Next, election … can we expect to find a group of Philadelphia ‘thugs’ (brown shirts!?) greeting us at our polling places!?

If You Think This is Racist than You Have A Serious Problem


Baby Antonio WestYou won’t recognize me.  My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old child who was shot at point blank range by two teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot.

A Grand Jury of my mommy’s peers from Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty.  Too bad.  I was given a death sentence for being innocent and defenseless.

My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime.  Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder.

I am one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation’s history, but the media doesn’t care to cover the story of my tragic demise.  President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me – so he doesn’t care, and the media doesn’t care, because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots.

There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be declared racist.  So there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me.  I have no voice, I have no representation, and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller – I no longer have my life.

So while you are seeking justice for Treyvon, please remember to seek justice for me too.  Tell your friends about me, tell you families, get tee shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Treyvon.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A Georgia woman said Friday a teenager trying to rob her at gunpoint asked “Do you want me to kill your baby?” before he fatally shot her 13-month-old son in the head.

Sherry West wept while she told The Associated Press that she pleaded with the gunman and a younger accomplice who approached her Thursday morning while she walked near their home in coastal Brunswick.

“He asked me for money and I said I didn’t have it,” she said. “When you have a baby, you spend all your money on babies. They’re expensive. And he kept asking and I just said `I don’t have it.’ And he said, `Do you want me to kill your baby?’ And I said, `No, don’t kill my baby!'”

Police were combing school records and canvassing neighborhoods searching for the pair. While police have said the two boys were between the ages of 10 and 15, the mother says she believes the younger boy was as young as 5 years old.

She said the teen fired four shots, the first into the ground. West didn’t see a shell casing ejected, and said she assumed the gun wasn’t real.

Then he fired at her head and the bullet grazed her left ear – she has a small scab and bruising there. He fired again and shot her in the left leg above the knee. “I didn’t know I was hurt.”

“The boy proceeded to go around to the stroller and he shot my baby in the face,” she said. “And then he just shoved me when I started screaming and he ran down London Street with the little boy.”

Police spokesman Todd Rhodes gave few details about the investigation Friday, but said no weapon has been found and that investigators were checking school attendance records for leads.

Several people in the neighborhood called 911 after they heard the gunshots fired, but Rhodes said investigators believed that the mother was the only witness to what happened.

“Understand this: There is no clear motive right now,” he said.

He urged anyone with information to call Brunswick police. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The mother lives in a rented house in the city’s Old Town historic district. Beverly Anderson’s husband owns the property and she said West has lived there for six or seven years.

“We’re just very sorry about what happened and very aghast that something could happen in our little neighborhood,” Anderson said. “It’s a quiet, safe little neighborhood.”

Anderson said people walk up and down the street, children walk to school and families are frequently outdoors. “It’s scared everybody,” she said. “They don’t feel so safe outside.”

She said West stayed home to care for her baby, who was often spotted in his mother’s arms.

“The house has a front porch with a swing and we’d see him out on the swing with his mother,” Anderson said. “He was a happy, cheerful baby.”

It’s not the mother’s first loss of a child to violence. Sherry West said her 18-year-old son, Shaun Glassey, was killed in New Jersey in 2008. She still has a newspaper clipping from the time.

Glassey was killed with a steak knife in March 2008 during an attack involving several other teens on a dark street corner in Gloucester County, N.J., according to news reports from the time.

“He and some other boys were going to ambush a kid,” Bernie Weisenfeld, a spokesman for the Gloucester County prosecutor’s office, told the AP Friday.

Glassey was armed with a knife, but the 17-year-old target of the attack was able to get the knife away from him “and Glassey ended up on the wrong end of the knife,” Weisenfeld recalled.

Prosecutors decided the 17-year-old would not be charged because they determined that he acted in self-defense.

UPDATE 4:24 p.m. — BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) — Police have arrested two teenagers suspected in the shooting death of a baby in a stroller and the wounding of the baby’s mother.

Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green said Friday that 17-year-old De’Marquis Elkins is charged with first-degree murder as an adult.

The 14-year-old is also charged with murder, but he was not identified because he is a juvenile.

The chief said police were still investigating the motive and searching for a weapon.

The mother, Sherry West, said she was walking near her home Thursday morning with her baby, Antonio, when she was approached by two boys who demanded money. She was shot in the leg and a bullet grazed her ear.

Two teenage boys were arrested Friday in the shocking shooting death of an infant, killed in the stroller his mother was pushing in a coastal Georgia town.

Seventeen-year-old De’Marquis Elkins is charged as an adult with first-degree murder, along with a 14-year-old who was not identified because he is a juvenile, Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green said.

The mother, Sherry West, was wounded in the apparent attempted robbery Thursday morning. The precise motive still is under investigation.

Officer Todd Rhodes of the Brunswick Police Department told FoxNews.com earlier that numerous tips had been received in connection to the shooting, and police had been going door to door searching for the suspects. Investigators also were checking school attendance records for leads.

West was later transported to the Southeast Georgia Health System for medical treatment. She is expected to recover.

“This is obviously a terrible day in Brunswick,” Brunswick Mayor Bryan Thompson said. “If you know something and don’t call, you are complicit in this crime.”

Antonio’s father, Louis Santiago, told WAWS-TV he wishes he could have been there to protect his family.

“He was special,” Santiago said. “He had the bluest, bluest eyes.”

Residents described Brunswick — a city of roughly 15,000 about 80 miles south of Savannah — as normally quiet despite some property crimes of late.

“This makes me very uneasy,” Patricia Buie told The Brunswick News. “Now I am very concerned. It is making me want to move to the mountains.”

It’s not the mother’s first loss of a child to violence. West said her 18-year-old son, Shaun Glassey, was killed in New Jersey in 2008. She still has a newspaper clipping from the time.

Glassey was killed with a steak knife in March 2008 during an attack involving several other teens on a dark street corner in Gloucester County, N.J., according to news reports from the time.

“He and some other boys were going to ambush a kid,” Bernie Weisenfeld, a spokesman for the Gloucester County prosecutor’s office, told the AP Friday.

Glassey was armed with a knife, but the 17-year-old target of the attack was able to get the knife away from him “and Glassey ended up on the wrong end of the knife,” Weisenfeld recalled.

Prosecutors decided the 17-year-old would not be charged because they determined that he acted in self-defense.

Trayvon, The Lawyers, And The Doom Of Emotionalism

The response from the Left, but more specifically from blacks, over the past 16 months since the shooting of 17-year-old malcontent Trayvon Martin has been one purely of emotion. I like what his shooter’s defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, had to say to the press after the reading of the verdict: “This ‘in your heart’ kind of stuff, that’s not what we’re supposed to do….”

All evidence and testimony, even that from Trayvon’s friend and “star” witness Rachel Jeantel, gave credence to the shooter’s, George Zimmerman’s, side of the story. It is that evidence and testimony that vindicated Zimmerman in the eyes of the jury of six women. Were the jury instructed by the judge before deliberations, “Okay, now disregard everything you’ve heard in this courtroom and just listen to your feelings,” then Zimmerman would have been found guilty and probably sentenced to being Mos Def’d at GITMO. The streets of Oakland, however, might not have been any less of an embarrassing sight; right now the blacks would be whoopin’ and hollerin’ in the streets, jumping up and down on cars, and, shirtless, grabbing their crotches as they shout into news cameras, “Dat’s right, whitey, you gon’ fry!” in blind racial pride and celebration as opposed to doing all of that in their current chosen state of blind rage.

Martin family attorney Ben Crump seemed to get misty-eyed in his response to the verdict. I understand that. He was demonstrating on a personal level the “we are one” feeling among blacks that was being demonstrated at large in the streets. He thought it prudent to invoke the name of—who else?—Martin Luther King, Jr. The Good Doctor’s daughter, Bernice King, tweeted Crump a message that, as usual, highjacked The Greatest Speech in the History of Mankind, “I Have a Dream.”

Emotion blinds and makes analytical thinking very difficult for those who allow it to escape from their hearts and seep into their brains. Natalie Jackson, another attorney for Trayvon’s family, said, “A seventeen-year-old child should be able to walk home from the store and not be shot.” Of course that’s true, but of course that’s not what happened, at least not so plainly. Her analysis is retarded by pure, thoughtless emotion.

Miss Jackson and Mr. Crump, and certainly all of Zimmerman’s detractors, truly do believe that Trayvon was merely a darker-skinned Opie Griffith who was walking home from the store and then simply gunned down out of racial hatred. Their case was doomed from the start, but not out of institutionalized anti-black-ism; it is rather because they decided to keep their arguments emotional rather than logical. Of course, to have been logical would have meant refraining from prosecuting Zimmerman at all since there was no logical basis for it, only an emotional one.

It Takes More Faith to Believe in Evolution that Creation


Journalist Virginia Heffernan Admits She’s a Creationist and Drives Evolutionists Crazy

In the midst of the George Zimmerman “not guilty” verdict, rioting, beatings, threats of violence, calls for “checking your white privilege,” and demands that we “give money to the Dream Defenders, to the Urban League, to the Southern Poverty Law Center … because racism is a natural disaster just like hurricanes and bombings and shootings are,” there’s a story going around about  journalist Virginia Heffernan who admits she’s a creationist.

The liberal disdain for Virginia Heffernan is thicker than quick-drying cement. Here’s just one example, written by Laura Helmuth at Slate:

“This is all just to say that I am trying to sympathize, I really am, with Virginia Heffernan. Heffernan is a writer for Yahoo News, formerly of the New York Times and formerly-formerly a TV critic for Slate. Last week she published an essay in which she revealed that she is a creationist. I’m not exaggerating. The essay is titled ‘Why I’m a Creationist,’ and she wrote: ‘Also, at heart, I am a creationist. There, I said it.’”

The article drips with disdain but does not offer a single verifiable scientific fact supporting how nothing became something.

Evolutionists can ridicule all they want (it’s all they have left), but they can’t prove that inorganic matter evolved into organic matter that evolved into the complex life forms we are and see around us. Evolutionists can’t get from atoms to people. It’s even worse for them since they can’t account for the original matter or the organized information necessary to organize the matter.

To believe in evolution is to believe in magic — literally. At least stage and street magicians start with a deck of cards, a coin, or a rabbit. Magicians can’t really make something appear out of thin air. But that’s exactly what evolutionists claim for evolution. When I say exactly, I mean exactly. Here’s an example found in the prestigious Scientific American:

“It is virtually impossible to imagine how a cell’s machines, which are mostly protein-based catalysts called enzymes, could have formed spontaneously as life first arose from nonliving matter around 3.7 billion years ago.”[1]

It’s impossible to imagine because it’s impossible, but that’s what evolutionists believe. One of the first scientific truths a biology student learns is that spontaneous generation is not science, and yet in order to be an evolutionist, you must believe in it even though it’s contrary to logic, experience, and experimentation.

Did you notice that the authors describe cells as “machines”? When has a machine ever spontaneously come into existence? Never! “But there was this time 3.7 billion years ago. . . .”

Helmuth writes, “Whatever levels of analysis you care to use, from molecular to planetary, they all mutually reinforce the discovery that all living things evolve through a process of natural selection. Absolutely nothing in the 154 years since Origin was published has undermined the theory.” “Absolutely nothing”? Do I detect a hint of desperation and fear?

OK, Laura, like you, I started with the molecular. Using observation (no one was around 3.7 billion years ago and no one has seen nothing become something) and experimentation (no one has been able to produce life in the lab), demonstrate to us how evolution took place. Don’t theorize. Don’t assert. Don’t propagandize. Show us. You can’t and neither can Richard Dawkins or any other evolutionist living or dead.

As a child I fell in love with technology, but I have to admit I never fell in love with science. I kept hoping that messing around with Macs and Atari and eventually the Internet would nudge me closer to caring about the periodic table, Louis Pasteur and the double-blind studies that now seem to stand for science. As it was, I only cared about the double-blind studies that told me what I wanted to hear—that potatoes are good for you or that people of my height are generally happy—and I liked the phrase “double-blind” when it was on my side because it meant “true” and “take that.”

I assume that other people love science and technology, since the fields are often lumped together, but I rarely meet people like that. Technology people are trippy; our minds are blown by the romance of telecom. At the same time, the people I know who consider themselves scientists by nature seem to be super-skeptical types who can be counted on to denigrate religion, fear climate change and think most people—most Americans—are dopey sheep who believe in angels and know nothing about all the gross carbon they trail, like “Pig-Pen.”

I like most people. I don’t fear environmental apocalypse. And I don’t hate religion. Those scientists no doubt see me as a dopey sheep who believes in angels and is carbon-ignorant. I have to say that they may be right.

In the hazy Instagram picture I have in my mind of the mechanisms that animate my ingenious smartphone—a picture that slips in and out of focus, and one I constantly revise—it might as well be angels. At the same time, I have read and heard brilliantly serpentine arguments for and against fracking, not to mention for and against cities and coal and paper (it sidelines carbon and decomposes! it is toxic industrial waste!), and I still don’t know right from wrong when it comes to carbon. All I know is one side of these debates seems maybe slightly more bloodthirsty and opportunistic than the other—but now I can’t remember which one.

Also, at heart, I am a creationist. There, I said it. At least you, dear readers, won’t now storm out of a restaurant like the last person I admitted that to. In New York City saying you’re a creationist is like confessing you think Ahmadinejad has a couple of good points. Maybe I’m the only creationist I know.

This is how I came to it. Like many people, I heard no end of Bible stories as a kid, but in the 1970s in New England they always came with the caveat that they were metaphors. So I read the metaphors of Genesis and Exodus and was amused and bugged and uplifted and moved by them. And then I guess I wanted to know the truth of how the world began, so I was handed the Big Bang. That wasn’t a metaphor, but it wasn’t fact either. It was something called a hypothesis. And it was only a sentence. I was amused and moved, but considerably less amused and moved by the character-free Big Bang story (“something exploded”) than by the twisted and picturesque misadventures of Eve and Adam and Cain and Abel and Abraham.

Later I read Thomas Malthus’ “Essay on the Principle of Population” and “The Origin of Species” by Charles Darwin, as well as probably a dozen books about evolution and atheism, from Stephen Jay Gould to Sam Harris.

The Darwin, with good reason, stuck with me. Though it’s sometimes poetic, “The Origin of Species” has an enchantingly arid English tone to it; this somber tone was part of a deliberate effort to mark it as science and not science fiction—the “Star Trek” of its time. The book also alights on a tautology that, like all tautologies, is gloriously unimpeachable: Whatever survives survives.

But I still wasn’t sure why a book that never directly touches on human evolution, much less the idea of God, was seen as having unseated the story of creation. In short, “The Origin of Species” is not its own creation story. And while the fact that it stints on metaphor—so as to avoid being like H.G. Wells—neither is it bedrock fact. It’s another hypothesis.

Cut to now. I still read and read and listen and listen. And I have never found a more compelling story of our origins than the ones that involve God. The evolutionary psychologists with their just-so stories for everything (“You use a portable Kindle charger because mothers in the primordial forest gathered ginseng”) have become more contradictory than Leviticus. Did you all see that ev-psych now says it’s women who are naturally not monogamous, in spite of the same folks telling us for decades that women are desperate to secure resources for their kids so they frantically sustain wedlock with a rich silverback who will keep them in cashmere?

Sigh. When a social science, made up entirely of observations and hypotheses, tells us first that men are polygamous and women homebodies, and then that men are monogamous and women gallivanters—and, what’s more builds far-fetched protocols of dating and courtship and marriage and divorce around these notions—maybe it’s time to retire the whole approach.

All the while, the first books of the Bible are still hanging around. I guess I don’t “believe” that the world was created in a few days, but what do I know? Seems as plausible (to me) as theoretical astrophysics, and it’s certainly a livelier tale. As “Life of Pi” author Yann Martel once put it, summarizing his page-turner novel: “1) Life is a story. 2) You can choose your story. 3) A story with God is the better story.”

This past Sunday in church it was my turn to do the Bible readings on which the sermon text was based.  I love giving the readings because there are few things to equal the majesty of reading Scripture out loud. And it was an extra pleasure because the New Testament readings were one of my favorites: 2 Thessalonians 3: 6-10

“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”“

This echoed an interesting post my friend Enola Gay recently had on her blog. Her grandfather sent her a piece called The Truth of the Welfare State, which expresses the frustration many of us feel:

Like most folks in this country, I have a job.  I work, they pay me.  I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.  In order to get that paycheck, in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don’t have to pass a urine test.So, here is my question:  Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.  I do, one the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their BUTT doing drugs or whatever they want while I work.Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could call the program “URINE OR YOU’RE OUT”!

This all reinforces the Great Divide in this country.  No, it’s not the Haves vs. the Have Nots.  It’s becoming the “Work” vs. the “Work Nots.”

Please note the Bible verse says “The one who is UNWILLING to work.”  Other versions say “shall not work” or “will not work.”  This differs greatly from CANNOT work.

People cannot work for a huge variety of reasons.  Some are too old.  Some are disabled.  Some are too young.  Some are single mothers (I distinguish between women who have been abandoned by their men versus women who crank out babies for profit).  And, especially in this economy, many are simply unable to find work, no matter how hard they try.

This greatly differs from those who WILL NOT work.

There are very few among us in this nation who are not willing to help those who are truly in need.  When we see people who are UNABLE to work, collectively there is a deep-seated instinct to help.  That’s one of the reasons I admire and support such organizations as the Union Gospel Mission, which takes people off the street and “teaches them to fish” rather than merely “giving” them fish (to paraphrase the old saying).  Charities such as this are privately run, efficient, and deserving of praise.

But just as there is a deep-seated instinct among us to help those in need, there is equally a deep-seated resentment among us to have our hard-earned money forcibly removed from our pockets and “redistributed” to those who, quite often, are UNWILING to work.

Giving money to those unwilling to work is cruel.  It destroys their incentive, ruins their work ethic, and supplies a false sense of entitlement.  It rips families apart (since the man is no longer necessary as the critical breadwinner).  It teaches children that age-old virtues are unnecessary.

In short, giving UN-earned money may well lead, directly or indirectly, to the destruction of our nation.  It’s a chain-reaction downward spiral, apparently encouraged by our government so it has a built-in cadre of dependent voters willing to keep the entitlements coming if only they vote in the same ol’ politicians.

I would dearly love my girls to inherit a nation worthy of them.  We are endeavoring to teach them that hard work, self-sufficiency (from government assistance), and independence are the tickets toward true freedoms.  But our government is burning these notions down around their ears.

An Orlando lawyer said he does not believe George Zimmerman‘s shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was racially motivated.

CNN analyst Mark NeJame pointed to a black-and-white picture of a family of three, including a dark-skinned man he claims was Zimmerman’s great-grandfather.

He also identified a woman pictured standing above the man as Zimmerman’s grandmother, and a small child in the man’s arms as Zimmerman’s mother.

Speaking to News 13 Friday, NeJame said the photo was just one piece among many that led him to change his mind about whether Zimmerman was racially profiling Trayvon Martin.

“If President Obama says his son would have looked like Trayvon Martin, then if you look at these pictures, his grandparents and great-grandparents would have looked like George Zimmerman’s grandparents and great-grandparents,” NeJame said during an appearance Thursday on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”

Before Zimmerman was arrested, President Barack Obama briefly commented on the case, calling the Trayvon Martin’s death a tragedy, and adding that if he had a son, he might have looked like Martin.

A lawyer for Trayvon Martin’s family, however, said they have seen proof of racial profiling, citing Zimmerman’s abandoned MySpace profile, which was found earlier in May to include disparaging remarks about Mexicans.

But according to Zimmerman’s lawyer, Mark O’Mara, someone else hacked that MySpace profile and added the comments, not Zimmerman.

O’Mara also announced Thursday that he will soon get his hands on evidence prosecutors said they plan to use during Zimmerman’s trial for second-degree murder.

O’Mara said he would get those documents Monday, giving him a chance to decide what the public will and will not see from that evidence.
