A Call for Secession & If Necessary Civil War


The following article says what many are thinking. I am not quit there yet. I am trusting the Living God to deliver and heal the second country He formed for Himself and the Kingdom, the United States of America. Fashioned from scripture and birth in prayer, this once great nation thrived because it’s maker was, and is, God the Father, through our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, by the power of Hos Holy Spirit.

I understand this person’s anger, frustration and angst. Because so many agree with such thinking, the civil war we’ve been watching grow in numbers hourly. Jesus is our peace. He can heal and restore what He created. However, we also must use wisdom in all this. We have the 2014 Mid Term Elections coming up. Based on all we are experiencing, and the challenge President Obama issued today, (“Go out and win an election”), this election cycle is indeed the most important election of our history. We know that election shenanigans will be done. That means we must work harder than ever to get the Christian Conservative out, as well as all other conservatives. We cannot let anyone stay home and not vote.

So please read this perspective with the proverbial “grain of salt”‘ Then begin NOW for next Novembers Mid Term Elections.

HD_TheUnionisDissolvedWe are slowly being subjugated, bit by bit, little by little. Our leaders in Congress have failed us, nay betrayed us, for their own personal gain. They exempt themselves from laws that they force upon the rest of us, and today that betrayal has reared its ugly hydra-head once again in a monstrosity that lays over anything done so far.

The RINOs in Congress have voted to betray the American public once again.

WHEN IS IT ENOUGH PATRIOTS?  WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET YOU OFF YOUR BACKSIDES AND RISE UP AGAINST TYRANNY?  WHAT DOES IT TAKE, THE MURDER OF YOUR FAMILY ON YOUR FRONT LAWN?

A storm is coming people, and it is dark and terrible; in fact, it is knocking at your doorstep as you read this. These shutdowns, and now the capitulation by Congress are an exercise, warfare exercises; the Executive Arm and the Traitors in Congress, the Tyrant and his familiars, are flexing their muscle, testing the waters. Evil is preparing an assault, and everything that has happened, every affront to the People that this regime has instituted, is but a move on the chess board.

Civil War is upon you, whether you would have it or not. The time has come to realize that words and the election process will not avail to turn the tide that is rushing toward you. The time for idleness has ended. The time for action is upon us. Yes, I am openly calling for Civil War, for the Confederacy and the Red States to secede, peacefully if allowed, by force of arms if not. The time to act was long ago, the window to act is almost closed. Our country is being bankrupted, our morals and religion destroyed by all manner of perversions and horrors, our top military generals and leaders fired, our borders left wide open, deceptive legislation designed to subvert our freedoms and our way of life are being passed with little to no resistance, and our status as superpower almost gone. This is all by design, moves on the chess board.

Through the internet, we are all able to connect with one another, but this is a frail branch upon which to sit. Should the government shut down the root DNS servers, that is the end of communication as we know it. If the cell networks are shut down, and make no mistake they will be, and fuel delivery shut off, what will you do?

I say to you now, that open rebellion is now your only hope of restoring a once great Nation. Some police and sheriffs will be with you, some will not. The military will be divided, and some will stand with the people, and some will not.

Those in the cities need to abandon them, as when hostilities break out and martial law is declared, those there will be the first to die. Do you know how to hunt, to build a home from natural materials without power tools, do you know how to shoot, fight hand to hand, set a broken bone, or find your way through the woods and forests? Have you stored water, seeds, medicines, fashioned weapons?  If not, you will also be the first to die.

This is not conspiratorial thinking, it is all right before your eyes. You have eyes, but you do not see; you have ears, but you do not hear.

Jesus said to the crowd:

“When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times?” – Luke 12:54-56

Why march?

I want you to circle the date of Sunday,October 13, 2013.

And then I want you to help “circle the wagons” on that day to help protect and defend our brave veterans who risked their lives for our freedom – and now are being barred from visiting the memorials erected to honor their deeds.

In a mean-spirited fit of selfish anger, Barack Obama has shut down our nation’s war memorials. And he has declared open war on our honored veterans!

The World War II memorial … the Vietnam Veterans Memorial … the Korean War Veterans Memorial – Obama has shut them all down to force his will on the House of Representatives and frankly, to get revenge on the American people who oppose Obamacare and his other naked power grabs.

Let’s put it plainly: Barack Obama is behaving like a vicious tyrant. And if he succeeds in this assault on the democratic system, the Republic we love is at mortal risk. It’s just that simple.

That’s why I am asking you now to take two decisive moves to show Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi – and all of their oppressive ilk in Washington – that “We the People” are still in charge. And we won’t rest until we take back our memorials and monuments!

1. First, I would like you to Sign the Petition to sign our petition to re-open the war memorials.

Once your name is on that important petition, it will be delivered to every member of the Senate and the House and we will even put it on the White House website!

2. Block out the date of October 13, 2013 9:00 am – and then join with the million other patriotic Americans who are determined to unblock our nation’s war memorials.

I’ll be there –along with veterans who are determined to once again fight for freedom – this time on our own Mall!

Our nation is suffering from multiple-personality disorder. The identity and history of the United States has been revised and rewired to the point where those who speak with authority on the grounds of historical scholarship are laughed off the stage in favor of those who speak with the heart of a revisionist and the scorn of an Alinski disciple. Indeed, they have proven Saul right.

Mockery is a powerful weapon when your audience is comprised of low-information citizens.

Personally, I believe someone like David Barton or Mark Levin could hold their own against any number of Howard Zinn-types, but their efforts would be lost on a great swath of Americans today. There is less regard for a verifiable, historical position than for history which fits a desirable emotion. Feeling good about our history seems to be more important than being accurate about our history.

The requisite emotionalism of modern Leftism refuses to play second fiddle to historical scholarship and an increasingly apathetic populace gives a collective “meh” in-between episodes on the boob tube. So Thomas Jefferson becomes a Muslim sympathizer, George Washington becomes a gleeful slave-owner, and the Democrats become the party of civil rights.

I don’t know about you, but I feel better already, comrade!

Recently, Mark Levin has been speaking about the existence of Two Americas. One America desires the redistributive suffocation of a massive Federal leviathan which will provide and control everything; and one America desires to be left alone. One America understands that hardship is a very real possibility yet is not willing to trade their liberty in the hopes of ameliorating failure. And one America holds their liberty so cheaply as to give it away for a bowl of hot stew across a campfire. One America is a gaping maw whose belly knows no satiation and whose ignorance knows no shame. The other America refuses to take anything for which they didn’t toil, yet willingly opens their homes, wallets, and hearts to help alleviate suffering in their community.

One gives while the other takes. One builds while the other tears down. To which America do you belong? To which America do your friends and neighbors belong? To which America will your children belong? Political pundits are wont to shake their heads ruefully and verbally pine for the days past when there was less political acrimony. I pine for the days of greater political acrimony. Complacency and cowardice are the appetizers of tyranny. If it means an end to the radical progressive agenda galloping roughshod over our Constitution, then let the political kumite commence.

The time is coming when every American will have to choose which America is their own. For some, it will take the form of the decision made by an Oregonian baker and his wife, driven out of business by homofascists in their community, to voluntarily shutter their business rather than kneel to politikal korrectness and forsake their Christian beliefs on the altar of Mammon. Or there may come a time in your life when you are presented with prosperity via government intervention. Have you thought about what your response would be to that offer? You should. We all will choose an America, one way or another. And if you think that you can avoid choosing one vision or the other, let me remind you that neglecting to choose is a choice in itself.

I understand that most of this is a sermon for the choir. My objective is not to tell you what you already know, but to encourage you to tell those in your circle of influence what you and I already know. We are a relatively small group of informed and agitated citizens, but we are operating in a nation of sleepwalkers. The willful blindness which I see from my fellow citizens is alarming and frustrating, but I become complicit in that blindness if I refuse to help them see.

If a blind-folded man is walking towards a cliff, who is more to blame for his demise: the blindfolded man or the man by his side who neglected to remove his blindfold? Chances are that there was someone along your path who pulled the blindfold from your eyes and helped you to see the light. It is past time to repay that heroic individual and start yanking some blinders. As Rush encouraged years ago, you don’t need a special skill or a media outlet to make a difference. Read your brains out and become a resource in your community. Make the case and win the day.

John Kerry Signs UN Small Arms Treaty – Freedom Outpost

We were told that Barack Obama would more than likely sign the United Nations Small Arms Treaty in August, during Congress’ recess. That failed to materialize. However, here we are near the end of September and word came out yesterday that Secretary of State John Kerry will be placing his signature to the treaty on Wednesday.

The Associated Press reports:

American officials say Secretary of State John Kerry will sign a landmark treaty regulating the multibillion-dollar global arms trade during the annual United Nations General Assembly meeting this week.

The officials said Kerry will sign the Arms Trade Treaty on Wednesday, initiating an uncertain ratification process in the U.S. Senate. Some lawmakers have expressed strong opposition to the United States becoming a party to the treaty. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to be identified as the source of information about Kerry’s plans.

The U.S. is the world’s largest arms dealer and its accession is seen as critical to the treaty’s success, although many of the world’s other top arms exporters and importers have not signed the document.

This document has been long feared by pro-gun groups and individuals as an end run around the Second Amendment. I have even questioned if it gives foreign troops the authority to enforce the treaty on US soil.

Freedom Outpost’s Lorri Anderson also produced a document, which many believe is authentic, that could very well be a disarmament plan for America by the United Nations.

As a result of fear that this treaty could open the US gun market to international regulation, CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gotlieb wrote:

The uncertainty begins in the discussion of small arms. Where will the regulations on our small arms start, and where will they stop? They are even trying to include ammunition regulations in the Arms Trade Treaty! Will the United Nations try to impose international licensing requirements, an international registry, or international?

The last negotiations for an Arms Trade Treaty took place in July 2012, just four months before the Presidential election. Obama did not want to take a big stance for global gun control just months before his re-election but now he has made it clear he is for total gun control. He also told voters he would not be re-visiting negotiations for an Arms Trade treaty but here we are.

Since his re-election it has become clearer than ever what is at the top of his agenda; taking our guns away! The Obama Administration has been exploiting tragedies since the election to push gun control at the city, state, federal, and now GLOBAL level.

Our Senate took a stance before the Presidential election when 51 of them wrote Obama a letter saying they would not support an Arms Trade Treaty. We must let our entire U.S. Senate know we do not support international gun control. They must not ratify this international treaty.

Kerry’s signature doesn’t actually put the treaty into effect. It must also be ratified by 2/3 majority vote in the United States Senate. However, remember that back in March the Senate voted 53-46 to uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The same Senate went on to defeat the tyrannical gun control legislation of the Obama administration and the Democrats.

The dangerous part of Kerry signing the treaty is that it will lie dormant in committee until there is a majority that will ratify it, or a future president, in essence, “unsigns” the treaty.

Additionally, it only takes ¾majority vote of member nations to amend the treaty. This means that once it is ratified other nations could determine how it could be amended, and that would also affect the United States.

Currently, the treaty does not seem to regulate gun ownership in the US. However, it could immediately affect the availability and cost of foreign made guns and ammo if it is ratified.

The treat also requires that 50 member nations sign and ratify it for it to take effect.

UPDATE: John Kerry has signed the treaty. This just in from Fox News: 

Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday signed a controversial U.N. treaty on arms regulation, riling U.S. lawmakers who vow the Senate will not ratify the agreement.

As he signed the document, Kerry called the treaty a “significant step” in addressing illegal gun sales, while claiming it would also protect gun rights.

“This is about keeping weapons out of the hands of terrorists and rogue actors. This is about reducing the risk of international transfers of conventional arms that will be used to carry out the world’s worst crimes. This is about keeping Americans safe and keeping America strong,” he said. “This treaty will not diminish anyone’s freedom. In fact, the treaty recognizes the freedom of both individuals and states to obtain, possess, and use arms for legitimate purposes.”

The NRA also reacted to the signing, calling it a threat to “individual firearm ownership with an invasive registration scheme” and saying the organization would fight against these “blatant attacks on the constitutional rights and liberties of every law-abiding American.”

The NRA also added:

Notably, the ATT includes “small arms and light weapons” within its scope, which covers firearms owned by law-abiding citizens. Further, the treaty urges recordkeeping of end users, directing importing countries to provide information to an exporting country regarding arms transfers, including “end use or end user documentation” for a “minimum of ten years.” Each country is to “take measures, pursuant to its national laws, to regulate brokering taking place under its jurisdiction for conventional arms.” Data kept on the end users of imported firearms is a de-facto registry of law-abiding firearms owners, which is a violation of federal law. Even worse, the ATT could be construed to require such a registry to be made available to foreign governments.

On behalf of your children, President Obama plans to take the guns you own and make it harder for you to buy them.

During a speech September 21 at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Phoenix Awards dinner, the president promised he was turning his attention back to his gun control agenda.

Referring to his failed efforts to irreparably infringe on the right to keep and bear arms begun after the massacre of 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, President Obama declared:

We fought a good fight earlier this year, but we came up short. And that means we’ve got to get back up and go back at it. Because as long as there are those who fight to make it as easy as possible for dangerous people to get their hands on a gun, then we’ve got to work as hard as possible for the sake of our children. We’ve got to be ones who are willing to do more work to make it harder.

There could hardly be a more receptive crowd, and the president’s remarks were met with cheers and applause.

Admitting that although there was so much to be done and the repeal of the Second Amendment would be a tall order, President Obama promised supporters that he was “still fired up.”

Given his penchant not only for ignoring the Constitution, but for zealously pursuing the permanent, piecemeal destruction of the roster of fundamental rights it protects, there is little doubt that this will be one promise that President Obama keeps.

Gun owners — the “dangerous people” being targeted by the president — have legitimate reasons to fear the federal government’s assault on the Second Amendment.

After the recent murders at the Navy Yard in D.C., White House spokesman Jay Carney reported that the president is committed to redoubling his efforts to enforce the score of executive orders he signed in the wake of the Newtown tragedy. “The president supports, as do an overwhelming majority of Americans, common-sense measures to reduce gun violence,” Carney said.

Prior to the shootings at the Navy Yard, Vice President Joe Biden announced that through “executive authority,” the president was closing two so-called loopholes in federal gun restrictions. First, corporations purchasing guns will be subject to a background check. Second, the re-importation of almost all surplus military weapons to private individuals will be banned.

His water carriers in Congress were no less anxious to use tragedy as a pretext for tyranny.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) lamented the “litany of massacres,” asking, “When will enough be enough? Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country. We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”

Ironically, that is the same question Americans are asking themselves about the federal government and its daily demolition of the Bill of Rights.

While many Republicans have so far successfully resisted wholesale gun grabs, the compromises by conservatives are stacking up and that which was once a right is become little more than a privilege.

It is undeniable that the requirement that one recur to the government for permission to do something that the Constitution protects as an inherent right of all men is an outright obliteration of the bedrock liberties upon which this Republic was founded.

Remarkably, there are many Republicans and other self-described “pro Second Amendment” politicians who accede to the notion that the government should be permitted to impose “reasonable restrictions” on the owning, buying, selling, and trading of weapons.

True constitutionalists recognize such unconstitutional concessions for what they are: reductions of rights protected by the Constitution. Furthermore, they understand that if we are to remain a free people, we must enforce every provision of the Constitution on every issue without exception; that includes those rights that may be politically unpopular or misunderstood en masse.

The hour is late, but there is still time to ride to the defense of the Constitution and the Second Amendment. Constitutionalists can let the president and their elected representatives in Washington know that they will hold them accountable for each and every attempt to curtail rights that are not theirs to dispose of.

Also, state lawmakers must be aware that voters will likewise hold their feet to the fire and demand that they unqualifiedly reject any effort by the federal government to enforce any act — be it congressional bill, executive order, or regulation — that exceeds the constitutional limits on its power.

As the applause faded at the banquet Saturday night, President Obama undoubtedly rode back to the White House determined to get rid of the guns and increase the surveillance of the “dangerous people” who currently own them.

Were he honest, however, President Obama would admit that the elimination of guns from the world is not the goal of the gun grabbers. Their hidden agenda, the one shared by the president and his fellow internationalists at the United Nations, is the consolidation of monopolistic control over firearms by the plutocrats on the Potomac and Turtle Bay.

Constitutionalists should now be on the lookout for the imminent announcement by Secretary of State John Kerry or by President Obama himself that the United States has signed the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty. That act will be a bellwether of the coming acceleration of the disarmament of the civilian population of the United States.

President Barack Obama on Sunday memorialized the victims of the Washington Navy Yard shooting by calling for a transformation in the nation’s gun laws to address an epidemic of gun violence, saying, “There’s nothing inevitable about it.”

Reprising his role of the nation’s consoler in chief after yet another mass shooting, Obama said Americans should honor the victims of last Monday’s shooting by insisting on a change in gun laws. “It ought to obsess us,” Obama said.

“Sometimes I fear there is a creeping resignation that these tragedies are just somehow the way it is, that this is somehow the new normal. We cannot accept this,” Obama said.

He said no other advanced nation endures the kind of gun violence seen in the United States, and blamed mass shootings in America on laws that fail “to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people.”

“What’s different in America is it’s easy to get your hands on a gun,” he said. He acknowledged “the politics are difficult,” a lesson he learned after failing to get expanded background checks for gun buyers through the Democratic-controlled Senate this spring.

“And that’s sometimes where the resignation comes from: the sense that our politics are frozen and that nothing will change. Well, I cannot accept that,” Obama said. “By now, though, it should be clear that the change we need will not come from Washington, even when tragedy strikes Washington. Change will come the only way it ever has come, and that’s from the American people.”

Obama joined military leaders in eulogizing the 12 victims killed in last Monday’s shooting, speaking from the parade grounds at the Marine Barracks, a site personally selected by Thomas Jefferson because of its close marching distance to the Navy Yard. The memorial service came on the first day of fall, which shone brightly in Washington, with sun sparkling off the instruments being played by the Navy Band and the gold dress uniform buttons worn by so many in the crowd.

The invitation-only crowd included around 4,000 mourners, with the victims’ tearful, black-clad family members directly in front of the speakers’ stage. The president and first lady met privately with the families before the service, White House officials said.

Authorities say their loved ones’ lives were taken Monday by shotgun-wielding Aaron Alexis, a 34-year-old former Navy reservist and information technology contractor who struggled with mental illness. Police killed Alexis in a gun battle.

By the end of the day, the Senate’s chief gun control proponent, California Democrat Dianne Feinstein, was calling on her colleagues to restart the debate on gun control and “do more to stop this endless loss of life.” Obama didn’t speak out on the issue until Saturday night, when he urged a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation dinner “to get back up and go back at it” to push gun control legislation that stalled in the Senate earlier this year. Obama proposed the legislation in the aftermath of the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn., that killed 20 first graders and six staff.

Obama said it’s clear from the Navy Yard shooting that the country needs to do a better job to secure its military facilities and improve mental health services, but also address gun laws.

“Our tears are not enough,” Obama said Sunday. “Our words and our prayers are not enough. If we really want to honor these 12 men and women, if we really want to be a country where we can go to work and go to school and walk our streets free from senseless violence without so many lives being stolen by a bullet from a gun, then we’re going to have to change.”

The military leaders who spoke before Obama at the memorial service, including Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, Navy Secretary Ray Mabus and Adm. Jonathan Greenert, chief of naval operations, avoided any mention of gun control. But Washington Mayor Vincent Gray spoke forcefully for action, mentioning that one of the Navy Yard victims, Arthur Daniels, had already lost his 14-year-old son to gun violence and citing a string of mass public shootings in recent years.

“Why is it that these tragic consequences and these tragic occurrences never seem to move us any closer to ensuring that guns don’t get into the hands of criminals or mentally unstable people?” Gray asked. “I don’t know the answer. But I do know this — that this time it happened within the view of our Capitol dome, and I for one will not be silenced about the fact the time has come for action.”

The service ended with a bugler playing taps and singing of the Navy hymn after a reading of the names of the fallen, who ranged in age from 46 to 73 and included civilian employees and contractors. Eight people were also hurt, including a police officer and two others who suffered gunshot wounds.

Obama also mentioned each victim, and said memories of them will go on, along with “the sense that this has happened before.”

“What wears on us, what troubles us so deeply as we gather here today, is how this senseless violence that took place in the Navy Yard echoes other recent tragedies,” he said. “As president, I have now grieved with five American communities ripped apart by mass violence: Fort Hood, Tucson, Aurora, Sandy Hook and now the Washington Navy Yard. Another Gun Control LawWith all the gun laws we have nationally, why do we need more? How is it working in Chicago and Washington D.C.? If we were able to strap these Liberals to a truth machine what would be revealed is their real desire to disarm America in order to transform our country from freedom to tyranny.

So here is a suggestion. Have the Marine Corps do a sweep, starting in Chicago, Every gang member, drug dealer, and any other crazy that have guns, bring them to a large open space that has been set up with triple row-stack razor-wire. Seize their weapons and leave them there to fend for themselves. If the kill each other off, oh well. Give the survivors some troop tents to erect, cots to assemble, and equipment to farm the area to grow their own food. Provide the water, and, after shutting down an unnecessary troop deployment (i.e., Germany), move part of those facilities to this new location, and guard the inmates until they are processed through court. Several of these can be established all over America. Instant detention facilities. We did that with the Japanese Americans.

We don’t need more law. We need better policing, the mental health organizations to do their jobs without Liberal interference, and let the law abiding citizens alone with their lawfully acquired fire arms.

Guns Don’t Kill – Gun Free Zones Do

In no way do I want to minimize or trivialize any of the mass shootings we have watched take place in recent years by dumbing down the causes to one or two issues. However, with the liberal media’s withering attack on gun rights which uses these attacks as their “ammunition,” some kind of response is necessary to combatthe misinformation. We are a nation of over three hundred million people, and an estimated 270 million guns are spread out among us. We are the most well-armed nation in the world, a heritage passed down to us through the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, which guarantees the right of every American (who is not a felon) to carry a firearm.

Even with these gaudy numbers of guns and gun owners, gun violence in America among legal gun owners is statistically insignificant. In fact, the vast majority of gun crime is committed by criminals who carry their weapons illegally. Meanwhile, in America, a gun is 7 times more likely to stop a crime than to commit one.

gunfreezone2Furthermore, consider the recent and most famous instances of mass shootings in the news. All of these rampages took place in areas described as “gun free” zones. The movie theater in Aurora, CO, the school in Newtown, CT, the military base in Fort Hood, TX, and the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. All of these places were gun free zones where the shooters took advantage of the guaranteed weakened state of their victims. In fact, if you try to remember back to other infamous mass shootings from Paducah, KY to Columbine, CO the gun free zone is a common thread. However, the media has placed the idea of blaming fun-free zones out of bounds in the political discourse – anyone who considers eliminating these “safe” zones (or un-safe zones depending on your perspective) is immediately labeled an extremist. In fact, a simple Google search of gun free zone returns stories of mass killing and liberal attempts to deflect blame from gun free zones. The gun free zone is one of the liberals’ “hills to die on”, even though it’s other people who are facing death because of them.

See, what we’ve learned about mass shooters is that they are cowards. Many of them choose these unprotected areas because they offer the path of least resistance for the killer. Consider that in the killing at the Aurora, CO movie theater the shooter had his choice of seven theaters within 20 minutes of his home… yet he chose the only theater that did not allow patrons to carry weapons. It was a gun-free zone. Even more telling is the shooting that took place in Oregon just days before the attack at Newtown. In the Oregon shooting, a killer marched through a mall, shooting at helpless victims — that is until he encountered armed resistance. Immediately after seeing that one of his intended victims had a weapon, the Oregon shooter retreated and fired one last shot… the bullet that ended his own life.

In fact, situations like this are more common than you realize, perhaps, as the Oregon story illustrates, because the media doesn’t seem to cover the cases that end well because of an armed citizen. Buzzfeed has a neat collection of mass shootings that were stopped by armed citizens, who were in the right place at the right time. Had you heard of any of these instances? Are they commonly brought up in the media?

The honest truth is this. When you couple the fact that so few of our gun crimes are committed by legal gun owners, with the fact that most of these mass shootings happen in gun free zones by mentally imbalanced people… we get a completely different picture than the portrait painted by the liberal media and the Democrat Party.

gunfreezoneCould the war on guns be charade orchestrated by the left to simply wrest power from conservatives by disarming us? The scary truth is that the reason we have a 2nd Amendment is to ensure that we would have the firepower to dislodge a tyrannical government if the need ever arose. Today we see members of our government trying to disarm us by changing laws and enflaming public sentiment against us. Our government is filled with legislators who fear our weapons because those weapons give us more power than they’d like us to have.

Murder is always evil. It is always a violent and destructive act that attacks the very fabric of our communities. We must respond, and we must try our best to ensure these things happen less and less in the future. However, we cannot allow the emotion of the moment to overcome our abilities to reason and consider logic. The gun control ideas of the left are a red herring. They create as many problems as they solve. The best answers to violence and public safety come from conservatives who love liberty and value independence.

Don’t let the liberal media mislead you – we are safer with a gun in our hands than with our empty hands in the air begging for mercy.

Boy Facing Expulsion For Turning In Hunting Knife At School Football Game

he airport about 10 years ago and forgetting that I had a pocketknife on me. I always had it on me, and I remembered that I had it as I was going through security. Instead of waiting for the security personnel to find it, I decided I would tell them as soon as I could, so that they wouldn’t think I was trying to sneak it in. I pulled it out of my jacket where I always kept it and gave it to one of the guards. He gasped as if I were holding an explosive device. With eyes wide open and mouth gaping in awe, he unfolded it slowly and showed it to me as if I had never seen it before. “Yeah, it’s my knife. I know what it looks like.”

Thankfully, I didn’t get in trouble. They gave me the option of mailing the knife to myself via the airport post office or allowing them to “hold on to it for me.” I took them up on their offer to let me mail the knife to my address.

Well, things didn’t work out as well for a 16-year-old high schooler in Pittsburgh. He had just been hunting in some woods behind his house before his dad dropped him off at one of his school’s football games. Before he entered the stands, he realized he still had his hunting knife on him. He knew that it was against the rules to have any kind of weapon on school grounds. So, he thought if he just turned it in and was open about it and apologized, he’d be OK. He turned in the knife to a security guard at the game and even accompanied the knife with a signed letter:

“I was in the woods behind my house at my tree stand and forgot to take my knife out of my pocket … came to the game and gave it to the security guard. [signed] David Schaffner III”

Everything seemed fine until the principal found out about this student’s atrocity. The principal approached Schaffner in the stands and ordered him to leave the game. But that wasn’t enough to punish him for his violent behavior and possession of an “assault” weapon on campus grounds. He suspended the boy for 10 days.

And now, Schaffner is facing expulsion from the school later this month. His expulsion hearing is September 27th.

His parents have had to hire an attorney to get the school to reverse their decision. The school district communications director said that they were just doing their jobs:

“[W]hen there’s a weapon, we have to follow the law; that is our responsibility to the community and to our students and staff.”

It would’ve been better for Schaffner to have done and said nothing. They haven’t yet installed metal detectors on the school field or hired security personnel to search all those entering the game. No one knew about the knife except for him. And he had to go and be honest, because he thought that was the right thing to do.

I don’t understand why the parents would hire a lawyer just to get their kid back in that school. If I were in the parents’ position, I wouldn’t let my son go back to that school.

Gun Confiscation Taking Place In Several Democrat Controlled States

“Gun Confiscation” is a term that should strike fear into the hearts of criminals, not law abiding citizens. But that is exactly what certain states like New York, Colorado and California are attempting to do with “tough new gun control legislation laws.” It is no secret that the Obama Administration really, really wants to do the same thing on a national level. Imagine what could happen if that were to take place? That means only “government” would have any guns. Australia did exactly that, and crime actually rose.

The research institute known as the Australian Institute of Criminology presents these statistics:

Between 1995 and 2007, Australia saw a 31.9 percent decrease; without a gun ban, America’s rate dropped 31.7 percent.

During the same time period, all other violent crime indices increased in Australia: assault rose 49.2 percent and robbery 6.2 percent.

Sexual assault — Australia’s equivalent term for rape — increased 29.9 percent.

Overall, Australia’s violent crime rate rose 42.2 percent.

At the same time, U.S. violent crime decreased 31.8 percent: rape dropped 19.2 percent; robbery decreased 33.2 percent; aggravated assault dropped 32.2 percent.

Australian women are now raped over three times as often as American women.

In England, they have extremely strict gun laws, and they seem to be experiencing a rise in violent crime, as well.

Simply put, this is how it starts. This is how a government becomes tyrannical, and the sad part about this is that you won’t be any safer because only the criminals and police will be the only people that are “armed.” This is just another example of how Democrats think the Constitution is just to wipe your backside with.

I had to sell all of my guns to be able to travel from Washington State where I live to Southern California, so I could be with her before she died. It wasn’t even a concern because I had to be with her. Now here it is 3 years later, and I can’t afford to purchase any more firearms because unlike our politicians in Washington D.C., my wife and I live on a tight budget. For the first time in my adult life, I am un-armed, and this is the one time in history where I wish I wasn’t.

In Seattle, Mayor Mike McGinn is trying to do something similar but is restrained by the courts, we have open carry laws in Washington State. So what he is doing is, he is trying to convince business owners in Seattle to join his “Gun Free Zone” campaign. Thereby prohibiting patrons of businesses to carry firearms in stores where “Gun Free Zone” stickers are in the windows. Well, what can one expect from this idiot? He’s a Democrat from New York.

It is really quite frightening to me to see all these end-runs around the Constitution, but when only “Government” has the guns…that is tyranny.

California Students Forced to Kneel Before Principal

Claiming it was a “safety policy,” California elementary public school principal Dana Carter instituted a policy that required his students to “kneel down on one knee and wait for the principal or another administrator to dismiss them.” One parent claimed that her daughter was forced to kneel before the principal “like a king“ with her hands at her side until Carter came out, lifted his arms, and told students to go to class.

Apparently, this happened at various times throughout the school day.

Complaints from parents, including flyers placed on cars, resulted in the revocation of the policy. Calls went out to parents to inform them of the change of policy, and Carter has already scheduled a meeting with parents to discuss “different safety options” with parents.

Obama’s HHS: Now Hiring for the Obamacare Police Force

In the wake of Jeff Duncan’s reporting of IRS agents being trained with AR-15s, I think we should be at least somewhat concerned with a breaking news story about the new “ObamaCare” Police. It would seem that the IRS implementation will not be the only strong arm of ObamaCare but that Health and Human Services will have a substantial number of investigative storm troopers as well.

The Daily Mail reports:

More than 1,600 new employees hired by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources in the aftermath of Obamacare’s passage include just two described as ‘consumer safety’ officers, but 86 tasked with ‘criminal investigating’ –indicating that the agency is building an army of detectives to sleuth out violations of a law that many in Congress who supported it still find confusing.

 On the day President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law in 2010, HHS received authority from the Office of Personnel Management(OPM) to make as many as 1,814 new hires under an emergency ‘Direct Hiring Authority’ order.

We are going to need more hollow point bullets it would seem. Is anyone really shocked by the fact that we have a brand new enforcement branch of HHS? I doubt it. This seems to be the norm in Washington these days. Last week we featured the story of a retired Marine Colonel who claims that a domestic army is being built. And who could blame anyone for thinking that? It is happening right in front of us.

The Daily Mail article goes on to say:

The fleet of 86 new criminal investigators are earning a range of compensation between $51,800 and $89,350, according to the 2010 salary tables and differential payment guidelines.

Judicial Watch, a nonprofit that has told MailOnline it files ‘hundreds’ of FOIA requests, first published evidence in July of the HHS hiring binge.

‘Sounds like we now have the Obamacare police,’ said the group’s president, Tom Fitton, after MailOnline showed him the new data.

So is someone going to come and bust my door down if I am too poor to provide health insurance for my family?

Come on.   This is America.   What a silly question.

Rural Coloradans Vote to Secede from Colorado as 51st State

Commissioners in Weld County, Colorado unanimously voted on Monday to make ‘North Colorado’ the 51st US state. The Republican board hopes to secede from the state in protest of laws passed by the Democratically controlled state legislature this year. The initiative will be added to the ballot this November. More than 11,000 people have liked the 51st State Initiative’s Facebook page.

The 51st State initiative has a website and appeals to the Declaration of Independence as justification for its efforts, writing:

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

The 51st State website claims that their initiative is simple. “We just want to be left alone to live our lives without heavy-handed restrictions from the state capitol,” read a post on the website.

“The concerns of rural Coloradans have been ignored for years,” William Garcia, chairman of the Weld County Commissioners, said in a statement. “The last session was the straw that broke the camel’s back for many people. They want change. They want to be heard.”

The Washington Times reports:

Three other rural counties —Cheyenne, Sedgwick and Yuma —also plan to place the 51st state referendum on the fall ballot. “At least three more counties plan to consider the proposal this week at their commission meetings,” said Jeffrey Hare, spokesman for the 51st State Initiative.

Known for its agriculture and oil and gas production, Weld is the largest of the Colorado counties exploring a break with the state after the legislature’s sharp turn to the left with bills restricting access to firearms and doubling the state’s renewable-energy mandate for rural areas.…

Forming a state isn’t easy: Even if the ballot measures pass, the Colorado state legislature would be required to amend the constitution to configure the state’s borders and refer a request for a new state to Congress.

Approving a 51st state would require a majority vote of both houses of Congress, although the Constitution doesn’t require the signature of the president, Mr. Hare said.

In responding to the issue of forming a new state, the 51st State website responds, “Will statehood be easy?  No.  However, pioneers are who have made this state great.  Those early miners that came for the gold rush were pioneers.  The early settlers that began farming the land and built the infrastructure to enable Colorado to be an agricultural powerhouse –they were also pioneers.”

Those in favor of the break with the State of Colorado see a growing divide between urban and rural interests and have put forth three proposals:

The creation of a new state

A change to the representation of the State Senate –the Phillips County proposal (details here)

Requesting annexation into WY – more on this option will be forthcoming

It seems that what they will be doing is giving the state legislature and the liberals in power in Colorado the dependents they have created in the urban areas. It will be something of a poetic justice.

“We’re not pulling away from Colorado, Colorado is pulling away from us,” Keenesburg resident Bruce Sparrow told the Denver Post after attending a 70-person public meeting to discuss plans for a secession.

“I think people, when they feel disenfranchised, when they feel that their voices are not being heard, I think that’s a problem in a representative form of government,” Commissioner Sean Conway said.

RT adds:

Most of those who attended the July 29 meeting opposed many the policies that the state legislature has passed, arguing that the will of rural voters is not being represented. They oppose Colorado’s gun control measures, renewable energy initiatives in rural areas, expanded regulation of oil and gas production, and the reduction of ‘cruel treatment’ of livestock. Rural voters are also angry with Amendment 64, which legalized the recreational use of marijuana.…

Despite the meetings and commissioners’ votes, some believe the secession effort is largely symbolic. No state has seceded since West Virginia pulled away from Virginia in 1863, but many have tried –especially after Obama was reelected last November.

In order for ‘North Colorado’ to secede, the plan would need the statewide support of voters, the General Assembly and the US Congress. But that isn’t stopping rural Colorado residents from trying.

“If you’re going to start walking on the people that give the government power, then they’re going to start taking that power back,” Frederick resident Travis Showalter told The Denver Post.

“They want change. They want to be heard,” commission chairman William Garcia told the Washington Post. “Policies being passed in Denver are having negative impacts on the lives of rural Coloradans. This isn’t an ‘R’ versus ‘D’ issue; it’s much bigger than that.”

I wish them well. Obviously the people of Colorado are fed up with a tyrannical government and are in this for more than mere “symbolic” reasons. May God bless their efforts and break the chains of their oppressors!

Obamacare Provision: “Forced” Home Inspections

“Clearly, any family may be visited by federally paid agents for almost any reason.”

According to an Obamacare provision millions of Americans will be targeted.

The Health and Human Services’ website states that your family will be targeted if you fall under the “high-risk” categories below:

Families where mom is not yet 21.

Families where someone is a tobacco user.

Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities.

Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forces who have had multiple deployments outside the United States.

There is no reference to Medicaid being the determinant for a family to be “eligible.”

In 2011, the HHS announced $224 million will be given to support evidence-based home visiting programs to “help parents and children.” Individuals from the state will implement these leveraging strategies to “enhance program sustainability.”

Constitutional attorney and author Kent Masterson Brown states,

“This is not a “voluntary” program. The eligible entity receiving the grant for performing the home visits is to identify the individuals to be visited and intervene so as to meet the improvement benchmarks. A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to “intervention” in “school readiness” and “social-emotional developmental indicators.” A farm family may be subject to “intervention” in order to “prevent child injuries.” The sky is the limit.

Although the Obama administration would claim the provision applies only to Medicaid families, the new statute, by its own definition, has no such limitation. Intervention may be with any family for any reason. It may also result in the child or children being required to go to certain schools or taking certain medications and vaccines and even having more limited –or no –interaction with parents. The federal government will now set the standards for raising children and will enforce them by home visits.”

Part of the program will require massive data collecting of private information including all sources of income and the amount gathered from each source.

A manual called Child Neglect: A Guide for Prevention, Assessment, and Intervention includes firearms as potential safety hazard  and will require inspectors to verify safety compliance and record each inspection into a database.

Last session South Carolina Rep. Bill Chumley introduced a bill, H.3101 that would nullify certain provisions of Obamacare. The bill would give the state attorney general the authority to authorize law enforcement to arrest federal agents for trespassing. It would make forced home inspections under Obamacare illegal in South Carolina. It passed in the House but died in the senate.

Obama Will Sign UN Gun Treaty While Congress Is On Vacation


If you have been living in a cave somewhere and just rejoined society, then you have not heard about the United Nations Gun Control Treaty. It is designed to control all gun purchases all over the world. It is also designed to control guns, ammunition and who can possess fire arms. In the treaty is a section for gun registration which always leads to gun confiscation. This treaty’s ultimate goal is the disarming of America, so that their One World Government can be established and all peoples be subjugated to tyrannical reign.

These back door tactics are nothing new for the Obama Administration, which is why we are using tactics of our own to stop his anti-gun agenda. We CAN stop this international treaty from reaching American soil by killing it the United States Senate. The U.S Senate must ratify an international treaty for it to be effective. Everything Obama tackles in office is strategically timed and politically motivated. He only looks out for himself, his fellow liberals, and his anti-gun agenda. After mass shootings the Administration would launch all-out attacks on our gun rights since the country would be more susceptible to change after a traumatic event. He made sure the Benghazi cover up was swept under the rug until he got re-elected. He will wait to attack certain issues until the 2014 Congressional elections so he’ll know how many liberals are by his side.

Obama believes now is the best time to sign the UN Gun Treaty since Congress is out of Washington. He will have less scrutiny to worry about if Congress is not nearby. He also thinks the public eye is not paying attention too closely. It is the slow summer months, people are on vacation, Congress is out of Washington so nothing must be happening.

Obama may think he is being sneaky but we will make sure the public knows what he is up to and so will all 100 U.S. Senators. By sending faxes to each Senator’s home office, they will realize how important this issue is to the American people. If we are reaching out to them while they are on vacation they will know they must take action. We must flood the home offices with faxes from Patriots across the country demanding our U.S. Senate does not ratify this international gun grab!

Gun advocates are weary of the language in the treaty including the fact that ‘small arms and light weapons’ are among the included weaponry that could be regulated by the United Nations. The UN Gun Treaty is a lot like ObamaCare; we will not know what it fully entails until it is implemented. It is impossible to trust the UN’s reassurance that this treaty will not affect our current gun laws or our Second Amendment. After all, the UN Arms Trade Treaty had previously been rumored as a replacement of the Second Amendment.

The Obama Administration seems to be thrilled with the thought of global gun control. John Kerry cannot wait for it to be signed:

“As your review of the treaty continues, we strongly encourage your administration to recognize its textual, inherent and procedural flaws, to uphold our country’s constitutional protections of civilian firearms ownership, and to defend the sovereignty of the United States, and thus to decide not to sign this treaty.”

The uncertainty begins in the discussion of small arms. Where will the regulations on our small arms start, and where will they stop? The last negotiations for an Arms Trade Treaty took place in July 2012, just four months before the Presidential election. Obama did not want to take a big stance for global gun control just months before his re-election but now he has made it clear he is for total gun control. He also told voters he would not be re-visiting negotiations for an Arms Trade treaty but here we are.

Since his re-election it has become clearer than ever what is at the top of his agenda; taking our guns away! The Obama Administration has been exploiting tragedies since the election to push gun control at the city, state, federal, and now GLOBAL level.

Our Senate took a stance before the Presidential election when 51 of them wrote Obama a letter saying they would not support an Arms Trade Treaty. We must let our entire U.S. Senate know we do not support international gun control. They must not ratify this international treaty.

‘Regular’ Muslims and the Muslim Brotherhood — Can Either Be Trusted?

Muslim_Brotherhood_EmblemPresident Obama has become intertwined with one of the oldest, prominent and influential Islamic political terrorist organizations in today’s modern world.  On a global scale they can be found on every continent and in every corner of the world they infest, they attempt to make national policy change to favor radical Islamists and sharia law.

Recently, one of Egyptian’s leaders of this group called for an attack on the United States Embassy in Egypt for supporting the removal of Egypt’s Islamic president Mohamed Morsi.    This Islamic extremist group has also been protesting the possible appointment of the New York City police commissioner, Ray Kelly, as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

I am sure Barry will honor their request and insert Sheila Jackson Lee for Homeland Security Secretary instead of the better choice.  That alone is a scary thought. By now I am sure you have figured out that I am showing a small overview of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The Society of Muslim Brothers” i.e.. Muslim Brotherhood, was founded in Egypt in 1928 and up until recently, their leader was Mohammed Badie.  Due to the ousting of Morsi there are rumors that Badie has been replaced. Known United States MB terrorist cells can be found in Houston, Texas ~ Detroit, Michigan ~ Tulsa, Oklahoma ~ Plainfield, Indiana ~ Cleveland, Ohio ~ Boston, Massachusetts ~ and of course most of us are aware of the small cell of six that works in Washington D.C. for Obama.  This state location data is from 2007, the most current that I could find.  I am sure the organization numbers and cells have grown since this information was gathered.

What I find most troubling about the MB and most other terrorist groups is the strategical philosophy they are using to infiltrate our nation. During a Federal Investigation in 2007 a document was found that was written by a key MB operative, Mohamed Akram, which uncovered the intent of the organization. This excerpt has been taken from “The Counter Jihad Report” titled, “Muslim Brotherhood Plan for America”.

These “friends” were identified by Akram and the Brotherhood as groups that could help convince Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

Akram was well aware that in the U.S., it would be extremely difficult to promote Islam by means of terror attacks. Thus the “grand jihad” that he and his Brotherhood comrades envisioned was not a violent one involving bombings and shootings, but rather a stealth (or “soft”) jihad aiming to impose Islamic law (Sharia) over every region of the earth by incremental, non-confrontational means, such as working to “expand the observant Muslim base”; to “unif[y] and direc[t] Muslims’ efforts”; and to “present Islam as a civilization alternative.” At its heart, Akram’s document details a plan to conquer and Islamize the United States – not as an ultimate objective, but merely as a stepping stone toward the larger goal of one day creating “the global Islamic state.”

In line with this objective, Akram and the Brotherhood resolved to “settle” Islam and the Islamic movement within the United States, so that the Muslim religion could be “enabled within the souls, minds and the lives of the people of the country.” Akram explained that this could be accomplished “through the establishment of firmly-rooted organizations on whose bases civilization, structure and testimony are built.”

He urged Muslim leaders to make “a shift from the collision mentality to the absorption mentality,” meaning that they should abandon any tactics involving defiance or confrontation, and seek instead to implant into the larger society a host of seemingly benign Islamic groups with ostensibly unobjectionable motives; once those groups had gained a measure of public acceptance, they would be in a position to more effectively promote societal transformation by the old Communist technique of “boring from within.”

I have a very difficult time understanding how we can allow anyone from this organization to be working for our President and having access to sensitive information. CAN ANY MUSLIM BE TRUSTED or is it just the Muslim Brotherhood that can not be?

Achtung! Hitler-and-History Lies We’ve Been Told

Stalin_HitlerFor decades, even while he was in power, Adolf Hitler was attacked as a right-winger. Of course, his racism provoked that assessment as well as his militarism; however, when put to the test and proper study, what we have been taught and what we have been told by learned scholars is completely wrong. The obviousness of that fact is plain if one sits down and looks at the reality. Hitler was no free thinking, wild eyed individualist — he was a corporatist and a socialist.

First of all, we have him admitting his socialism. He doesn’t call Nazism by anything else other than National Socialism. Professors I know would be flipping their lids at me for daring to say what I am saying, but I knew they were lying when I was studying this. How could Hitler, who controlled Churches, Media, Schools, the Military, Health Care and everything else, be a right-winger? Was it because he was a racist? So, racism apparently makes a Nazi, or member of the National SOCIALIST German WORKER’S Party a right-winger? How convenient.

When I was in school, as in high school, I was always wondering why my teachers called Hitler right-wing. After learning about the rise of National Socialism in Germany, and then Communism, I was struck by similarities. When I asked about this issue, I was told well, they had similarities but really they were far different. That seemed convenient then and it makes zero sense now. Why, you ask? I’ll explain.

Any form of government that controls healthcare, the economy, education and the news media is totalitarian by definition. And if the government controls the economy, either through out-right central control or through large scale corporations, they are socialist. Healthcare control is just a freebie because, if you control the economy, you by virtue of that will control health care. Nazi controlled Germany was all that. So, why would professors, high school teachers and so called learned scholars throw Adolf Hitler and his love of the worker, and controlling people’s lives even to whom they married, be so happy to throw him at us? I have a theory. It is not that complicated. Just follow my line of thinking.

Hitler and his minions wanted to control Germany. They said they were patriotic Germans. This lie helped them establish their credentials with the veterans of the First World War and conservatives who were looking to anyone to give Germany back her place in the world. The Communists were not patriotic.

Here’s the difference: the message. Hitler knew how the rank and file German folk felt about Germany and he used it. His later rantings, as Berlin was being razed to the ground and his empire was reduced to a city block, proves that he was no more a German Patriot than any Communist his brown shirts killed. In other words, Hitler used patriotism to get power. There is a lot more to be said about this subject but there’s no space here to talk about it.

Hitler was able to harness the German’s love of discipline for his efforts. The Germans were very easy to seduce. Now think about this: almost 15 years of staggering, mind-boggling inflation, lawlessness and amorality and here’s this small man with a small mustache going on about law and order and morality. In reality, he was no more law-abiding or worried about morals than the people he wanted to destroy, the Communists. He used the German fear of Communism to shove National Socialism down the Germans’ throats and they didn’t realize it. It was a choice between two versions of Lucifer and they had no idea because they were so brow beaten and done.

So were Adolf Hitler and his minion’s right-wingers? When I think of “right-wing” I think of Libertarians, no centralized government. People governing themselves. I don’t think of an institution of any kind save for a military to protect interests, borders etc. I don’t think of institutionalized racism, forced euthanasia, forced military service, and zero free press. How is any of that “right-wing”?

Is merely calling Hitler a right-winger a sales pitch to sell the same thing he was selling? Did these leftist educators have to make Hitler look like a Republican, a rugged individualist, in order to sell what he sold? Think about it.

I asked that question when I was a sophomore in high school. My Dad agreed with me, of course. HE was the person who taught me to ask questions that began with “yeah”, “but” and “why”. The more I asked, as I grew older, the angrier the response was. When I was a senior in college I realized how much I’d been lied to. Hitler, for all of the garbage I’d been told, was actually one of THEM. And what’s worse they knew it. They know it still.

It is time for some honesty about history. It’s time for the facts. Adolf Hitler was a left-wing socialist. Just because he called himself a National Socialist does not make the facts untrue. He was a corporate fascist socialist.

Now I can hear the leftist scholars freaking out at this fact. He would not have been able to control Germany without the help of large corporate entities. He did not go to the conservatives for money. Outward support and for tea and sympathy, yes, but for real support he ran to Krupp, Thiessen and the rest. Because, unlike other socialists, he knew you can’t go anywhere without money. He followed Mussolini’s lead. A socialist with the veneer of a corporatist. And that, my dears, is a fascist and that is also a kind of leftist socialist.

Facts are what they are. History is an undeniable force. She is strong in her ways and all consuming. She’s about the facts. It is time, when we talk about Germany and its bizarre experiment with National Socialism, to have those facts. Nazism is socialism splashed with corporate support on steroids and that is a fact. That is history.

REUTERS – A secretive U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration unit is funneling information from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records to authorities across the nation to help them launch criminal investigations of Americans.

Although these cases rarely involve national security issues, documents reviewed by Reuters show that law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin – not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.

The undated documents show that federal agents are trained to “recreate” the investigative trail to effectively cover up where the information originated, a practice that some experts say violates a defendant’s Constitutional right to a fair trial. If defendants don’t know how an investigation began, they cannot know to ask to review potential sources of exculpatory evidence – information that could reveal entrapment, mistakes or biased witnesses.

“I have never heard of anything like this at all,” said Nancy Gertner, a Harvard Law School professor who served as a federal judge from 1994 to 2011. Gertner and other legal experts said the program sounds more troubling than recent disclosures that the National Security Agency has been collecting domestic phone records. The NSA effort is geared toward stopping terrorists; the DEA program targets common criminals, primarily drug dealers.

“It is one thing to create special rules for national security,” Gertner said. “Ordinary crime is entirely different. It sounds like they are phonying up investigations.”

THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION

The unit of the DEA that distributes the information is called the Special Operations Division, or SOD. Two dozen partner agencies comprise the unit, including the FBI, CIA, NSA, Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Homeland Security. It was created in 1994 to combat Latin American drug cartels and has grown from several dozen employees to several hundred.

A QUESTION OF CONSTITUTIONALITY

“That’s outrageous,” said Tampa attorney James Felman, a vice chairman of the criminal justice section of the American Bar Association. “It strikes me as indefensible.”

Lawrence Lustberg, a New Jersey defense lawyer, said any systematic government effort to conceal the circumstances under which cases begin “would not only be alarming but pretty blatantly unconstitutional.”

Lustberg and others said the government’s use of the SOD program skirts established court procedures by which judges privately examine sensitive information, such as an informant’s identity or classified evidence, to determine whether the information is relevant to the defense.

“You can’t game the system,” said former federal prosecutor Henry E. Hockeimer Jr. “You can’t create this subterfuge. These are drug crimes, not national security cases. If you don’t draw the line here, where do you draw it?”

Newspaper divulges ‘top secret’ info on access to online data

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Army has ordered its personnel not to go to the latest postings on the website of the British newspaper The Guardian to read revelations of information given to its reporter because it contains a “TOP SECRET slide show.”

The email, which WND received from a Department of Defense source, was addressed to a couple hundred military personnel and civilians working for DOD. The source who provided the email asked for anonymity.

 “Do not go to ‘The Guardian’ news website as they have TOP SECRET slide show on the main page and you will be flagged,” according to the writer from the 304th MIBN, or military intelligence battalion.

“If someone is not included on this email inform them this website is off limits,” the email said. “If anyone has visited this page today and clicked on any ‘NSA program’ slide show please inform me immediately. It is much easier fix (sic) an issue before it becomes a problem then (sic) after it becomes a disaster.”

Following initial leaks of the highly classified slides by The Guardian based on interviews and files given to its reporter by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, the Pentagon had informed all military personnel not to access the website on military office computers, even though the NSA information is in the public domain.

Snowden worked for the defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton and was assigned for three months to NSA where he had access and acquired the information, apparently by using thumb drives to take the information without detection.

Such access can be ascertained by security personnel who monitor what U.S. military personnel are viewing, whether they are using an unclassified or classified computer.

The latest email referred to The Guardian’s story on XKeyscore, which is an NSA data mining software tool that gives the analyst accesses to “nearly everything a user does on the Internet.”

The latest story on XKeyscore pointed out that this tool gives NSA analysts the “widest-reaching” collection of online data. In addition, NSA analysts don’t need prior authorization to conduct searches.

XKeyscore “sweeps up emails, social media activity and browsing history.”

The story included a series of new XKeyscore slides classified as “TOP SECRET/COMINT/REL TO USA, AUS, CAN, GBR, NZL.”

In effect, the Top Secret slides come from communications intelligence and are released only to the U.S., Australia, Canada, Great Britain and New Zealand.

The program gives NSA access to millions of individuals, based on documents Snowden gave to the Guardian.

All that an NSA analyst needs to do is fill out a simple on-screen form giving only a broad justification to mine NSA’s databases. Such a request is not subject to any court or higher level NSA personnel.

In addition to emails, websites and metadata, XKeyscore also allows the analyst access to an individual’s internet activity in real-time.

The NSA is required by law to get a warrant from the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, court if the target is a U.S. person

However, no such warrant is required if an American is communicating with a foreign target. XKeyscore can bypass the warrant requirement on obtaining information on an American if it has some identifying information such as the email, the Internet Protocol, or IP, address, keywords, name or telephone number.

XKeyscore gives the analyst access to the metadata as well as the content of the emails and other Internet activity, including any browsing and knowledge of the subject matter.

According to The Guardian article, one slide referred to “plug-ins” that describes the various types of information that can be searched. They include “every email address seen in a session by both username and domain, every phone number seen in a session including address book entries or signature block,” and “the webmail and chat activity to include username, buddylist, machine specific cookies etc.”

Another NSA tool called DNI Presenter allows the NSA analyst to read the content of stored emails. With XKeyscore, the analyst can also read the content of Facebook chats or private messages.

The HTTP on a website is important to the NSA analyst since it accesses “nearly everything a typical user does on the Internet.”

The slide asked: “Why are we interested in HTTP?” which then is followed by images of Facebook,Yahoo,Twitter, myspace.com, CNN.com @mailru, Wikipedia, Google and Gmail.

“Because nearly everything a typical user does on the Internet uses HTTP,” the slide added.

XKeyscore also lets the analyst determine the IP addresses of every person visiting any website the analyst looks at.

XKeyscore holds the greatest amount of communications data collected by NSA. The article quotes William Biney, a former NSA mathematician, as saying the agency had “assembled on the order of 20 trillion transactions about U.S. citizens with other U.S. citizens” only from phone calls and emails.

Each day, NSA reportedly intercepts and stores some 1.7 billion emails, phone calls and other communications.

National Intelligence Director James Clapper in a letter to Sen. Ron Wyden conceded that NSA analysts have exceeded their authority in domestic surveillance. He said there were a number of compliance problems which he attributed to “human error” or “highly sophisticated technology issues.”

In a Senate floor response, Wyden said the violations are “more serious than those stated by the intelligence community, and are troubling.”

WND reported more than a month ago when Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., chided the military in response to an Air Force memo banning access to articles about the NSA leak story on the military branch’s unsecured Internet system.

“If it’s in the public domain, it’s hard to make a case that military members – who are still citizens and protected by the Constitution – should not read the news about what government is doing,” Hunter told WND.

WND had reported when the Air Force issued a NOTAM – a Notice to Airmen – that warned users of the military’s unclassified computer network not to look at news stories regarding the NSA-Verizon scandal because it could trigger a Classified Message Incident.

A Classified Message Incident is prompted when classified material or information is transmitted over an unsecure military network.

The story originally reported by The Guardian newspaper of London of the top-secret court order requiring Verizon to hand over all of its call data on an ongoing basis to the National Security Agency included a link to the classified information.

Hunter, a U.S. Marine combat veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, said there’s a “bigger issue with classifications and access, which, if anything, should prompt concerns on the part of officials.”

While members of the Air Force in the U.S. have access to the Internet through other means, some members based overseas who contacted WND said the Air Force’s NIPRNET service is their only access. At a time of increasing distrust toward government, they regarded the order as censorship

Now we are truly beginning to see that actual, physical ownership of the media is not necessary in order for the Progressive politicians to have control. We have known for well over four years the national media, almost without exception, has been in “bed” with Obama and his agenda of steadily driving this nation into a state of moral, social and economic bankruptcy. However, this past week his absolute control has been cemented and vividly demonstrated when the media immediately and displaying ultimate obedience followed his orders to cease and desist all reporting on the “phony scandals” that has been disrupting his agenda.

His agenda? Of course. He has suddenly decided that his over the top spending programs have not worked as promised because we didn’t spend enough, so the solution is to simply go back to his campaign speeches of the past five years to solve the economic problems. The media loves this rhetoric. It squarely focuses all the blame on those that disagree with his agenda and provides the cover needed to refocus their attacks on the conservative elements of our society.

Never mind that Hillary asked “what difference does it make” how, why or by whom four Americans in the service of our country were murdered. Or who or why the IRS choose to persecute the Obama detractors at a time so politically important to his great nation. Or why the NSA is involved in tracking my phone calls and yours. Or why and how the federal government allowed our own border security enforcement officer to be gunned down by a weapon provided to the enemy by the U.S.. And let’s not forget that Obama and his flunkies decided to make a racial issue out of the Zimmerman case even after the FBI said that was absolutely not so.

All Obama had to do was say “mass media, these are all just false and phony issues stirred up by my political foes so as to divert the attention of congress away from the real issue — the economy — and I hereby order you to cease and desist any airing of these baseless scandals”. In unison we here their response “Yes sir Commandant and Commander in Chief”. No direct control required, just the media’s desperate desire to be at the forefront in leading America into a European style Social Welfare state.

It started simply enough. Four airplanes were hijacked and used as bombs against America; killing innocents as well as their executioners. It went downhill from there.

George W. Bush took it upon himself to try to ensure America’s safety. In order to do so he implemented one of the biggest sweeping changes in American government’s history. The birth of “Homeland Security” was done with good intentions, acknowledged. Too bad good intentions often go astray. The current administration took the start of the path to perdition and put it on full speed ahead: the Titanic captain had nothing on this admin!

Suddenly, we have this:

“[The President] has emulated Lenin in striving to increase state control over such ‘commanding heights’ of our economy as energy, health care, finance, and education, with smaller forays into food, transportation and undoubtedly some areas I am overlooking.”

Of course, it could be that he’s not actually a Communist, but is a Socialist instead:

“Contrary to claims made in 2008 by [the president], his staff, and supporters, he was a member of the socialist New Party in Chicago.”

It’s not just his membership in the Socialist Party that makes him a Socialist, it’s his actions as well. Whatever he is, he isn’t following the precepts of our Founding Fathers and no one can successfully argue that statement.

The president has taken America very quickly away from the Founding Fathers’ vision of America. By hook or by crook, he’ll get what he wants:

“Just look at how this administration is trying to do an end run around the people by having the Environmental Protection Agency impose stringent regulations when it couldn’t even get the overwhelmingly Democratic Congress to pass the socialist cap-and-trade bill.”

The question that becomes the issue: Is he taking us toward Communism or toward Socialism? In the long run, it doesn’t matter. Socialism (which we know via his membership card) is something that we know he believes in. With this president though, it looks like his Socialism leads to our Communism.

To clarify,

“Socialism manages the economy through planned collective social control, while communism tend to manage both the society and the economy by making sure that the properties are owned by the centralized organization to gain classlessness and statelessness. Both communism and socialism tend to prevent the effects of capitalism.”

So if Communism’s defining moments come when the economy is under control of the government, what do you call the long list of economic impacts the president has had while doling out taxpayer dollars to whomever he likes? Add the 20% of the economy that his health care plan will control (until it buckles under its own weight). Just last month the president released his Climate Action Plan:

“It is this war on coal that would prove the most costly, with hundreds of thousands of lost jobs and $1.47 trillion of lost national income by 2030. [my bolding]“

Taxes and his tax plan may round out the list, but it does not finish it. There are things not yet mentioned, but I must keep the article a readable length. The fact that his tax plan impacts us in that,

“The most serious consequence would be slower economic growth, less job creation, and less wage growth. Secondarily, the smaller income gains would reflect back on federal revenues, offsetting much of the revenue growth the president hopes to achieve with the tax increases. State and local budgets would be adversely affected as well.”

Established: The president was a card-carrying member of the Socialist Party as a younger man (for all we know, may still be).

Established: The president has manipulated the economy and has had a drastic impact upon it.

Established: The difference between a Socialist and a Communist is whether the government is in control of the economy, as well as the social arena.

Established: The president is in control of the economy.

Therefore: The president is a Communist.

We also know he’s allowing more drones to take to the air to keep an eye on us. We know he’s not above suing states to keep them from enforcing their own laws. We know he tries to stifle the votes of those whom he believes will vote against him.  We know he’s hiding his background from us. We know he lies to us constantly.

We also know he willingly allowed four Americans to die in Benghazi and did nothing to help them: “Stand down!” He did not seek out and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law those responsible for Brian Terry’s death. We know there are questions surrounding other deaths related to the president (Jamie Zapata and Judge John Roll among others).

It was hard for her because, as an enlightened modern girl, she shared the Communist vision without being a Communist. But she loved her father and the irrationality of his defection embarrassed her. “He was immensely pro-Soviet,” she said, “and then — you will laugh at me — but you must not laugh at my father — and then — one night — in Moscow — he heard screams. Militant Atheist Demand A Christian Military Chaplian Be Punished For Doing His Job

Are You Considered a terroristLt. Col. Kenneth Reyes is a Christian chaplain currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. As an ordained clergyman whose duties are to provide religious instruction and spiritual counseling, he has a page on the base’s website called “Chaplain’s Corner.”

Reyes recently wrote an essay entitled, “No Atheists in Foxholes: Chaplains Gave All in World War II.” This common saying is attributed to a Catholic priest in World War II, made famous when President Dwight D. Eisenhower said during a 1954 speech: “I am delighted that our veterans are sponsoring a movement to increase our awareness of God in our daily lives. In battle, they learned a great truth that there are no atheists in the foxholes.”

As reported by Fox News’s Todd Starnes, when Reyes referenced this famous line in his essay, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) contacted the base commander, Col. Brian Duffy, demanding he take action on Reyes’s “anti-secular diatribe.”

MRFF’s letter says that by Reyes’s “use of the bigoted, religious supremacist phrase, ‘no atheists in foxholes,’ he defiles the dignity of service members.” They accuse him of violating military regulations.

My legal research on this issue uncovered no regulation prohibiting Reyes’ speech, which looks like expression protected by the free speech and religious freedom provisions of the First Amendment. Military leaders did not respond to Fox’s inquiries asking the Air Force to identify any such rules.

Nonetheless, only five hours after MRFF’s complaint, the essay was removed from the website. Duffy has profusely apologized to MRFF for not stopping this religious leader from sharing religious thoughts.

But this response—which again appears to be a violation of Reyes’s First Amendment rights—is insufficient for MRFF. They said, “Faith based hate, is hate all the same,” and, “Lt. Col. Reyes must be appropriately punished.” (Emphasis added).

So MRFF is saying that the coercive power of government must be used to punish a military officer, who is also an ordained Christian minister, for making ordinary religious references consistent with his faith.

Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin of the Family Research Council—one of the leaders of a new religious liberty coalition for the military—responded, “A chaplain has been censored for expressing his beliefs about the role of faith in the lives of service members… Why do we have chaplains if they aren’t allowed to fulfill that purpose?”

MRFF is activist Mikey Weinstein’s organization. He called observant Christians “fundamentalist monsters” seeking to impose a “reign of theocratic terror,” and he described sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military as an act of “spiritual rape” that makes believers “enemies of the Constitution” who are committing an act of “sedition and treason” against this nation.

Benghazi Survivors Forced To Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements By The Obama Administration

According to Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), who put forth a resolution back in January to form a select House committee to investigate Benghazi, which was supported by 700 retired Special Forces and the mother of slain information management officer Sean Smith, said on Thursday that survivors of the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead, had been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements by each of their respective agencies in the Obama administration. This would essentially prohibit them from speaking about the attack on September 11, 2012.

 

“According to trusted sources that have contacted my office, many if not all of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks along with others at the Department of Defense, the CIA have been asked or directed to sign additional non-disclosure agreements about their involvement in the Benghazi attacks,” Wolf said on the floor of the House. “Some of these new NDAs, as they call them, I have been told were signed as recently as this summer.”

If proven to be accurate, Wolf said “this would be a stunning revelation.”

“It also raises serious concerns about the priority of the administration’s efforts to silence those with knowledge of the Benghazi attack in response,” Wolf said.

Congressman Wolf also said that he was requesting a list of all personnel or contractors who were asked to sign non-disclosure waivers from the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of Defense, and the State Department.

“Perhaps through a list of all the employees that have signed the NDAs related to Benghazi we may finally develop a witness list to subpoena for eyewitness testimony to learn what happened that night where we lost four American lives,” Wolf continued. “I do not expect the Obama administration to be forthcoming with answers, but if this Congress — if this Congress — does not ask for the information and compels its delivery the American people will never learn the truth.”

On Wednesday Representative Steve Stockman (R-TX) issued a statement in which he praised the work of Representative Wolf. “Congressman Wolf has fearlessly led the fight for justice on this issue,” Stockman said. “The whole nation owes Congressman Wolf a deep debt of gratitude. Some House Democrats now appear to be openly interfering with the investigation and intimidating witnesses, which only raises more questions about the White House’s involvement. The only way we’re going to get a clean and thorough investigation is by forcing a vote with a discharge petition.”

Well isn’t that just like this administration? They swoop in and apply pressure not only on whistleblowers, but on those who would be able to provide valuable testimony as to the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi.

House Resolution 36 continues to gain support. When I first reported on it on April 11, 2013, Congressman Wolf’s office confirmed they had 89 co-sponsors and over that weekend the co-sponsors grew to well over 100. However, it was RINO House Speaker John Boehner who said he wouldn’t allow the select committee to investigate Benghazi because he doesn’t “think it’s risen to that level.”

Mission, KS Police Arrest & Cavity Search Mom After Toddlers Drop Pebbles in Mail Slot

Catrina Engle is just a simple mother of two and wife to her husband. On the evening of March 3, 2013 she was leaving the Mission, Kansas Post Office and had just placed her two children, ages 4 and 2, in her minivan when she was approached by Officer Michelle Pierce and ordered to render her identification without reason. From that point on the day turned into a tragedy for her as she was arrested and a body cavity search was conducted out in the middle of the public by Officer Pierce. What was her crime? Apparently her kids put a couple of pebbles in the mailbox and though the Post Officer was closed, she tried to get someone to help her and when they wouldn’t she was in a loud conversation on her cell phone in the lobby with her husband before leaving. Mrs. Engle recounts what happened after she put the girls in the minivan. She says Officer Pierce approached her. “She stated, “I’m going to need your identification.” I asked her, “Why?” Again, she said, “Give me your ID.” I again asked her, “Why?” The third time she was more demanding & said, “Give me your identification.” I then agreed that I would give her my ID but I wanted to know why first. I said “Okay, but why?” She still would not tell me. At that point, you can see what happens in the video. Without warning, she started walking towards me, twists my arm, starts cuffing me, flings me around & slams me on the ground while finishing cuffing me. At that point, Officer Tim Gift arrived & assisted her. They hurt me when they dropped me on the ground & also got my thumb stuck in the cuffs. You can hear my toddler age girls crying & screaming in the car as they took me down & throughout the hour or so they had me there.”

The video backs up the ridiculous nature and force of her arrest.

A third officer who showed up later and who Mrs. Engle claims threatened to call Child Protective Services and have her children taken away from her, was not listed on the report. However, Engle found out who the officer was via a third party, a local senior citizen who said he had been abused by the same officer. His name is Tige Dean.

No attempt was made to look after Engle’s girls over the following hour that she remained on the scene. Her oldest girl thought the officers were going to shoot her mother, according to Engle and the girls cried the entire time.

Engle attempted to get the officers to call her husband to come and get the girls. They finally did it though it took a long while for them to do so. One of the officers even mocked her stating that she had not given him the number. She immediately rattled the number off and he simply threw up his hands, eventually making a call just before she was subjected to a body cavity search.

Engle also pointed out the nature of raising her voice in the lobby. “I later found out that the Postal Employee, Yvette Jenkins, called 911 after saying that I was yelling at her, kicking the door & throwing rocks at her through the mail slot! In reality, I was arguing with my husband on the cell phone in an empty Postal lobby while using the automated machine. My bored toddlers dropped pebbles in the mail slot. You can also hear Yvette Jenkins say on the video while the cops are talking to her that the Post Office has protocol & that they asked me to leave. Yet another lie. She was actually in the back warehouse area where I couldn’t even see her & she never came out to speak to me. I was leaving on my own accord.”

You will see in the video that they subject Mrs. Engle to a humiliating body cavity search right out in the open while cars are driving by, which is completely uncalled for.

Though dashcam video should be enough to bring charges against these tyrants, one would like to see them permanently removed from the force and punished for their behavior.

“I’m disgusted with The Mission Kansas PD,” said Engle. “From the illegal cavity search, to horrifying my children, to the lies in the police report, lies from the post office, trumping up charges on me to cover their asses & then lying again saying there was no videos of anything– out of three police dash cams & a federal building (Post Office).”

“We have also been threatened by the Prosecutor of Mission, Kansas himself–Mr. David Martin,” she concluded.

Obviously they were able to obtain at least one of the dashcam video feeds from one of the cars. I find it hard to believe there are not cameras inside federal post officer.

In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: ‘Who lost Europe?’

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for inviting me.  I come to America with a mission.  All is not well in the old world.

There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic.

We might be in the final  stages of the Islamization of Europe.  This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West.  The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe.  Then, I will say a few  things about Islam.  To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.

The Europe you know is changing.

You have probably seen the landmarks.  But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world.   It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.

All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen.  And if they are, they might regret it.  This goes for the police as well.  It’s the  world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead.  With mosques on many street corners.  The shops have signs you and I cannot read.  You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity.  These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics.  These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe.  These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe.  With larger congregations than there are in churches.  And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region.  Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are  already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and Malmo in Sweden.  In many cities the majority of the under-18  population is Muslim.  Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods.  Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.

In some elementary  schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult  to Muslims.

Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils.  In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims.  Non-Muslim women routinely hear ‘whore, whore’.  Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France, school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to  Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin.  The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.

In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system.  Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves.  Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II.  French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel.  I could go on forever with stories like this.  Stories about  Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe.  San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim  just 12 years from now.  Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers.  And the numbers would not be threatening if the  Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate.  But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France.  One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks.  The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate.  Muslims demand what they call ‘respect’.  And  this is how we give them respect.  We have Muslim official state holidays.

The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority.  We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey.

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots.  Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators ‘settlers’.  Because that is what they are.  They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam.  Therefore, they are settlers.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries.  Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the  prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized.  Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem.  But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages – at the same time.  Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered, and even had prisoners of war executed.  Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza.  If it is good for Islam, it is  good.  If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.

Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion.  Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins.  But in its essence Islam is a political ideology.  It  is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person.  Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life.  Islam  means ‘submission’.  Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia.  If you want to  compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam ‘the most retrograde force in the world’, and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.  The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor.  I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times.  I support Israel.  First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.

This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam’s territorial  advance.  Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia.  Israel is simply in the way.  The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel.  It is a war against the West.  It is  jihad.  Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us.  If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest.  Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities.  But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West.  It would not  mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values.  On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam.  They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed.  The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning.  It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination.  If they can get Israel, they can get everything.  So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a ‘right-wing extremists’ or ‘racists’.  In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II.  And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.  Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing.  The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine.  An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America – as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs.  With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem …

Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts.  My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives.  All throughout Europe, American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish.  My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians.  We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe’s children in the same state in which it was offered to us.  We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams.  Future generations would never forgive us.  We cannot squander our liberties.  We simply do not have the right to do so.

We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know!

World’s ‘Most Dangerous Islamist’ – Alive, Well, and Living in Pennsylvania

The most dangerous Islamist in the world is neither Afghani nor Arab. He comes from neither Sudan nor Somalia. And he resides in neither the mountains of Pakistan nor the deserts of the Palestinian territories. This individual has toppled the secular government of Turkey and established madrassahs throughout the world. His schools indoctrinate children in the tenets of radical Islam and prepare adolescents for the Islamization of the world. More than 90 of these madrassahs have been established as charter schools throughout the United States. They are funded by American taxpayers. One of these charter schools – Tarek ibn Zayed Academy (TiZA) in Minnesota – is so radically Islamic and subversive in nature that the Minnesota Department of Education issued two citations against it and the American Civil Liberties Union is suing it. Dozens of his universities, including the Faith University in Istanbul, train young men to become lawyers, accountants, and political leaders so that they can take an active part in the restoration of the Ottoman Empire and the Islamization of the Western World. He also allegedly operates compounds to train jihadis in the tactics of guerilla warfare. This individual has amasssed a fortune – over $30 billion – for the creation of a universal caliphate.

His name is Fethullah Gulen and he resides not in the wilds of southern Turkey – but the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

From his fortess headquarters, located on 28 acres at 1857 Mt. Eaton Road in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, Gulen plots the overthrow of secular governments and oversees the spread of education jihad throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States.Gulen is surrounded by an army of over 100 Turkish Islamists, who guard him and tend to his needs. The army is comprised of armed militants who wear suits and ties and do not look like traditional Islamists in cloaks and turbans. They follow their hocaefendi’s (master lord’s) orders and even refrain from marrying until age 50 per his instructions. When they do marry, their spouses are expected to dress in the Islamic manner, as dictated by Gulen himself.

The Saylorsburg property consists of a massive chalet surrounded by numerous out buildings, including recreational centers, dormitories, cabins for visiting foreign dignitaries, a helicopter pad, and firing ranges.

Neighbors complain of the incessant sounds of gunfire – including the rat-tat-tat of fully automatic weapons – coming from the compound and the low flying helicopter that circles the area in search of all intruders.

The FBI has been called to the scene, the neighbors say, but no action has been taken to end the illegal activity.

Sentries stand guard at the gates to the estate to turn away all curiosity seekers.

Within the sentry hut are wide screen televisions that project high resolution images from security cameras.

Before the hut is a sign that reads “Golden Generation Worship and Retreat Center.”It’s hard for the local residents to understand that the Muslim who operates this compound is not an American political or intelligence official – but rather a radical Islamist from Turkey.

Gulen fled Turkey in 1998 to avoid prosecution on charges that he was attempting to undermine Turkey’s secular government with the objective of establishing an Islamic government. Since his arrival in Pennsylvania, the Department of Homeland Security has been trying to deport him. But in 2008 a federal court ruled that Gulan was an individual with “extraordinary ability in the field of education” who merited permanent residence status in the U.S.

The ruling remains quizzical because Gulen has no formal education or training.

Gulen, according to the Middle East Quarterly, was a student and follower of Sheikh Sa’id-i Kurdi (1878-1960), also known as Sa’id-i Nursi, the founder of the Islamist Nur (light) movement. After Turkey’s war of independence, Kurdi demanded, in an address to the new parliament, that the new republic be based on Islamic principles. He turned against Atatürk and his reforms and against the new modern, secular, Western republic.

How powerful is Gulen? And why is he such a threat to America and the Western world?

Consider this.

Turkey is now ruled by the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP)- – a party under the Gulen’s control. Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education.

Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – one for every 350- citizens – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – and thousands of state-run Islamic schools.

Despite the rhetoric of European Union accession, Turkey has transferred its alliance from Europe and the United States to Russia and Iran. It has moved toward friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, and anti-America animus throughout the populace.

Speaking on Monday at the inauguration ceremony of “TRT al Turkiye,” the new channel of the state run TV station TRT, Prime Minister Erdogan said Turkey will always be on the side of Muslims wherever they are.

Gulen’s tentacles stretch throughout the country since his followers, known as Fethullahists, have gained control of the country’s media outlets, its financial institutions and banks, and its business organizations.

According to Bayram Balci, a Turkish scholar, the Gulen schools that have been established throughout the world seek to expand “the Islamization of Turkish nationality and the Turification of Islam” in order to bring about a universal caliphate ruled by Islamic law.

Several countries have outlawed the establishment of Gulen schools and cemaats (communities) within their borders – including Russia and Uzbekistan. Even the Netherlands, a nation that embraces pluralism and tolerance, has opted to cut funding to the Gulen schools because of their imminent threat to the social order.

But Gulen’s activities in the United States, including the establishment of an armed fortress in the midst of the Pocono Mountains, have escaped national press attention.

In his public statements, Gulen espouses a liberal version of Sunni/Hanafi Islam and promotes the Muslim notion of hizmet – altruistic service to the common good.

Despite the paramilitary training at his Pocono fortress, Gulen has condemned terrorism and called for interfaith dialogue. He has met with Pope John Paul II, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomeos, and Israeli Sephardic Head Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron.

In private, Gulen has stated that “in order to reach the ideal Muslim society ‘every method and path is acceptable, [including] lying to people.’”

In a sermon that was aired on Turkish television, Gulen said:

You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this. If they do something prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 [in] Syria … like in the yearly disasters and tragedies in Egypt. The time is not yet right. You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey … Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside. The work to be done is [in] confronting the world. Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all—in confidence … trusting your loyalty and secrecy. I know that when you leave here—[just] as you discard your empty juice boxes, you must discard the thoughts and the feelings that I expressed here.

Why has the federal government opted to turn a blind eye to Gulen and his mountain fortress?

Why have Gulen’s madrassahs been kept under the radar screen of Homeland Security?

Why have the CIA and FBI allowed Gulen to wreak havoc and topple secular governments without interruption or intervention?

The questions beg answers.

Navy Vet Asks If NSA Is Spying On Him – NSA Says It’s None Of His Business

Since whistleblower Edward Snowden leaked information the National Security Agency (NSA) was collecting metadata on all US citizens, including emails, cell phone calls, internet browsing history, wouldn’t you like to know what was collected on you? Clayton Seymour, a Navy vet from Hilliard, OH, sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the agency. The IT specialist was interested in knowing if the NSA was collecting data on him. He was met with a letter telling him he wasn’t entitled to that information.

According to the Blaze:

Weeks later, the Navy vet from Hilliard, Ohio—who voted for President Obama in 2008 and 2012 and supported his platform of greater governmental transparency—got a response that made him “furious.”

It was a letter from the NSA explaining that he was not entitled to any information. Seymour tells Tikkun Daily Blog scribe David Harris-Gershon that he “felt betrayed.”

The rejection letter details why “none of that data can be obtained by an American citizen in a standard FOIA request,” the Tikkun Daily notes.

Seymour had decided to request his NSA file after coming across a recent post of Harris-Gershon’s instructing Americans on how to properly request such files from the FBI and NSA.

Seymour stated to Harris-Gershon in a written communication he was “generally a law abiding citizen with nothing I can think of that would require monitoring, but I wanted to know if I was having data collected about me and if so, what.”

According to the Tikkun Daily:

Seymour isn’t the only one who has recently had an FOIA request denied by the NSA – dozens of citizens have emailed me to say they’ve received a similar, if not identical, letter. And it’s clear from the exemption the NSA is using that every single American is having their FOIA requests similarly rejected.

Unjustly so.

It should be noted that there are legitimate exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act, the first of which states that documents requested may be denied if they are “properly classified as secret in the interest of national defense or foreign policy.”

However, the central problem is this: Seymour’s letter from the NSA points to Executive Order 13526, signed by President Obama in 2009, as justification for the NSA’s FOIA exemption.

This order signed by Obama established a uniform system for classifying national security information, and stipulates that “information shall not be considered for classification unless its unauthorized disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause identifiable or describable damage to the national security.”

This qualification appears in section 1.4 of the executive order, after which follow many categories of information which may be marked as classified. The category the NSA points to in justifying the classification of all its data is this:

  1. intelligence activities (including covert action), intelligence sources or methods, or cryptology

Meaning: the NSA is classifying every single bit of data it receives from ordinary American citizens based on the premise that it has been gathered covertly.

Meaning: the NSA’s advertised justification for not granting FOIA requests is to protect our country. However, the real justification is the NSA’s covert violation of Americans’ Fourth Amendment right not to be subject to unwarranted searches and seizures (in this case of their personal, digital data).

It seems that even benign data culled from citizens like Seymour, who are no threat to national security, have had their data classified by the NSA. Seymour’s’ rejection letter can be viewed here.

America should be howling in protest; instead, the public hits the snooze button and goes back to sleep. Believing the government is keeping the people safe using these tactics is like believing in the Easter Bunny. The information gleaned from the American public was gathered covertly: beginning to sound as if the American people are a threat. Who are we a threat to?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the American people are a threat to out of control government. The Constitution lists enumerated powers of the government, all three branches, and the people retain the power to curb unconstitutional behavior. The government believes the people have become a threat to the Washington bubble — the biodome of exclusivity where the people are like pests and therefore not welcome. Government should always fear the people since it is the best method of retaining freedom. However, this administration is in violation of the Constitution in that its actions are not indicative of the creature of the people but more the controller of the people. As more encroachments on rights occur and implementation of bad legislation begins, the real problems will be totally exposed and the people may go passed the point of being outraged. Now, individuals cannot even obtain the same information about themselves that the government possesses; it’s all a secret. Another right gone.

People’s pictures of the beach, emails containing recipes, phone conversations about your blood test results with your doctor, discussions of car insurance, private conversations with lawyers about wills and such are so essential to the federal government in order to protect the public from terrorists. Sure it is. The data gathering and classifying of the information is for the government to be able to establish profiles and patterns of American’s daily lives in order to use in the future. Remember, anything that is collected can be altered to appear to be something that it’s not.

Islam, at its very core — is a nasty and ruthless credo that defecates on the immutable tenet that “all men are created equal.” Its foundation is constructed on a belief that all non-Muslims (particularly Jews, Christians and women) are sub-human and therefore worthy of the most brutal forms of subjugation.

Our nation’s sixth president, John Quincy Adams — wrote the following about Islam and its prophet: “The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust: To exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature.”

While our system of jurisprudence is based on equal protection under the law — Islamic law (Sharia) demands that all non-Muslims either convert, pay an onerous tax (jiyza), or face execution.

In fact, ever facet of Sharia law not only violates our First Amendment — but actually obliterates it. If a Christian is caught proselytizing — in any of the major Islamic nations around the globe — he faces the very real possibility of being exterminated.

That’s right! Those who dare utter the name Jesus on the streets of Riyadh or Tehran face extermination via the very methodology deployed by the Prophet Mohammed — beheading.

And lest we forget — organization such as CAIR, ISNA and SMA are all laboring assiduously to replace our Constitution with Sharia law.

Yes, these groups are toiling feverishly to shove Koranic doctrine down our collective throats.

You better believe that the leaders of these crazed Islamic organizations desire to see every American woman don a burqa while being stripped of all their inalienable rights.

John Quincy Adams capsulated Islam when he wrote that “The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God.”

Yes, a “perpetual war” that will bring about a global Islamic empire.

US Gov’t Stockpiling Weapons, Ammo, And…Requesting 15,000 Russian Troops?


This is news that should cause every American, even those who consider themselves apolitical, to cock their heads to the side like a bunch of confused terriers and say, “Holy…,” “What the…,” or some variation thereof.It begins with what is known in Russia as the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Affairs for Civil Defense, Emergencies, and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, or, as it’s known internationally, the Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM). It was created in 1994 by Russian President Boris Yeltsin and has a whole range of duties, which you can read about on its Wikipedia page or at its own website, but the point is that it is a legitimate agency in Russia and not a fantastical delusion conceived in the overactive imaginations of Internet conspiracy theorists.

Well, a new report by EMERCOM states that Janet Napolitano of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has requested that, according to The European Union Times, “at least 15,000 Russian troops trained in disaster relief and ‘crowd functions’ [i.e. riot control] be pre-positioned to respond to FEMA Region III during an unspecified ‘upcoming’ disaster.” The Russian troops were requested to be reserved to work “directly and jointly” with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA is a branch of the DHS. (Here is a map of FEMA Region III. Note that Washington, D.C., the heart of the country, where a lot of protests occur, is a part of that region.)

The DHS, of course, is the agency of the federal government that over the last year has purchased riot gear, armored vehicles, and 2 billion rounds of ammunition, without explanation. Juxtaposed with this news of the DHS’s request for Russian soldiers to be prepared to “help us” in a time of emergency, it kind of makes one come to reason that this stockpiling of bullets and riot gear has been for the Russian troops.

I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist, which is probably what a conspiracy theorist would say if he wanted people to listen to him. But EMERCOM is internationally recognized; they are not publishers of tabloids, but an actual division of the Russian government.

I’d love to hear theories, even from the liberals reading this, as to why the Obama administration has requested 15,000 Russian troops to come to D.C. at some point. Whatever the reason is, it is obviously an event that the US government is planning. So what are they preparing for?

The National Front chief risks being put on trial after members of the European Parliament’s judicial committee in Brussels voted to lift her legal immunity as an MEP.

Ms Le Pen sparked uproar among in France after a speech at a party rally in December 2012 when she denounced Muslims praying in the street in areas where there are no mosques.

Le Pen told supporters: ‘For those who like to talk about World War II, to talk about occupation, we could talk about, for once, the occupation of our territory.

‘There are no armoured vehicles, no soldiers, but it is an occupation all the same and it weighs on people.’

French prosecutors asked the EU last November to lift the her immunity as a lawmaker so she could be prosecuted for inciting racial hatred.

The European Parliament’s legal committee voted overwhelmingly yesterday that Le Pen could be charged and the full parliament is now expected to formally lift her protection in the coming weeks.

British Tory MEP and legal affairs committee member Sajjad Karim said: ‘There is a red line between freedom of speech and inciting racial hatred.

‘I, along with many other MEPs, today voted to drop Ms Le Pen’s immunity and I am confident that the majority of the European Parliament will follow our lead in July.’

Le Pen, 47, is renowned for her outspoken views on immigration – but is also riding on a wave of popular support and would come second in another presidential election.

Last year she tried to prosecute pop star Madonna for screening an image of her with a Swastika on her head at a Paris concert.

She also recently had a news photographer banned from taking any more pictures of her – because he makes her look ‘ugly’.

Her father and former National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen was stripped of his legal protection as an MEP to face charges of holocaust denial in 1998.

Liberals have Corrupted Unions With Absolute Power

When talking to fellow conservatives, one interesting question to ask them is why they are registered Democrat when they have nothing in common with them. The answer inevitably comes back to Labor Unions. The Union Movement was founded to protect workers, and has a great history in its founding with gaining worker protections, fair wages, and benefits. But now the power has gone too far, and instead of being concerned about workers, Unions seem to be more worried about electing liberals to office. The once proud union history has turned into one of bankrupting companies through ridiculous pensions that no one would be able to pay. Pensions should be outlawed and replaced with retirement accounts, but that’s a story for another day.

Some states have Right to Work laws where union membership is voluntary and you can’t be forced to join as a condition of employment. One of the arguments against Right to Work is that workers enjoy the benefits without paying dues. This is not true. The National Labor Relations Act makes it so unions can represent all, but are not required to do so.1 If union membership is all it’s cracked up to be, then why in Right to Work states do they have lower unemployment?2 You would think that pro-choice liberals would like the ability for workers to be able to choose their membership. They can have separate contracts for their members and if their benefits are competitive for the dues paid, wouldn’t members join? There is the true power of the unions as they collect $9 billion in union dues.2 Which in turn seem to be paid out to liberal politicians that frequently don’t have workers best interests at heart.

One of the most outrageous things was Coal Unions supporting Obama.3 There is no defense for anyone wanting to mine coal to support Obama when he has declared war on coal. It doesn’t make any sense if you want to keep your job. The auto bailout was for the unions since their pension had finally gotten to the breaking point and why the American auto industry has trouble competing.4 Hostess went bankrupt because of union greed.5 We’ve seen numerous cities go bankrupt as their unions demanded more and more of the limited city budgets.6 How are these good for jobs?

The strange relationship between liberal democrats and the union movement is tied to their march towards socialism.7 Both want more government with greater rules and control. The only problem is that once the collective has total control, freedom is lost and becomes a moot point. We need a balance where reason is the centerpiece. Unions started out as a good thing, but have traveled down a dark path where greed and power have corrupted them and now they have forgotten who they are.8

I’ve been forced to join two unions in my life. First was at Kroger and later at the hospital union. Both were college jobs, but they taught me a great deal about unions. I attended a Union Steward class to learn more about the Union but found this to be a two day Republican bashing session. When it did come time to learn about filing a grievance it was a 5 minute “here is this form” and where to turn it in. There was nothing about what a legitimate grievance is, or how the union rules work. My experience was that the Union prevented the lazy workers from getting in trouble or fired and got the same amount of money from the part time people in dues to pay for political activities. The only benefit I see from the Union is padding the liberal’s pockets at the expense of workers.

If you are in a union you need to look carefully at where your dues are being spent and who they are supporting in elections. Unions present a pretty picture of how much they say membership can bring you, but is it a short term gain that in the long run will be a bankrupt mess? Do your homework and research out the facts. For those conservatives out there who register as Democrat because of their union, the facts will amaze you. Don’t be used as a sacrificial political pawn for the liberal socialist agenda. Your fellow conservatives are ready for you to come home.

Army Punishes Soldier who Served Chick-fil-A

An Army master sergeant was punished after he hosted a promotion party and served Chick-fil-A sandwiches in honor of the Defense of Marriage Act.

The unidentified soldier was investigated, reprimanded, threatened with judicial action and given a bad efficiency report, according to the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty.

“They say he is no longer a team player and was not performing up to standards,” Chaplain Alliance Executive Director Ron Crews told Fox News. “This is just one little example of a case of a soldier just wanting to express his views and now he’s been jumped on by the military.”

The soldier’s story was included in a letter to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights documenting concerns about attacks on religious liberty within the Armed Services.

The Pentagon did not return calls seeking comment.

Last summer the soldier had received his promotion to master sergeant. The promotion coincided with a national controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A’s support of traditional marriage. Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy told a newspaper that he was “guilty as charged” when it came to supporting the biblical definition of marriage. Gay rights advocates were infuriated and some Democratic leaders – most notably the mayor of Boston –  attempted to stop the popular restaurant chain from opening restaurants in their cities.

Crews said the soldier decided to hold a party to celebrate his new position. The invitations read, “In honor of my promotion and in honor of the Defense of Marriage Act, I’m serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches at my promotion party.”

After the party, the solider received a letter of reprimand. Crews said at issue was the combination of the sandwiches and the soldier’s support of DOMA (which happens to be the law of the land).

“There was initially some talk of bringing judicial punishment against him,” Crews said. “He had a letter put in his file and an investigation was initiated to see if he had violated any policy.”

The solider reached out to the Chaplain Alliance for help and they put him in touch with an attorney. Crews said nearly one year later – the soldier is still embroiled in a legal battle.

“He was at the pinnacle of his career,” Crews said. “To make that rank means you’ve done very well throughout your career. He wants to finish serving his time honorably.”

Crews said stories like this are becoming commonplace in the military post-repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

“These stories are the ones that have not been told – about some of the more subtle ramifications of the repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy,” he said.

One service member received a severe reprimand for expressing his faith’s religious position about homosexuality in a personal religious blog.

A chaplain was relieved of his command over a military chapel because he could not allow same-sex weddings to take place in the chapel.

And a chaplain who asked senior military officers whether religious liberty would be protected in the wake of the repeal of the law against open homosexual behavior in the military was told to “get in line” or resign.

Crews said they are sharing these stories to let other service members know there is a place to get help. He said Chaplain Alliance publishes a religious liberty palm card – explaining constitutionally protected liberties to service members.

“If you believe your religious liberties have been violated, here’s what you can do,” he said. “We will see that you get the help that you need.”

As for the soldier who served the Chick-fil-A sandwiches?

“We’re going to stand with this soldier who did nothing wrong,” “There is nothing wrong in saying he wants to celebrate DOMA – which happens to be federal law.

Obama’s Super Secret Treaty Which Will Push The Deindustrialization Of America Into Overdrive…


Did you know that Barack Obama has been secretly negotiating the most important trade agreement since the formation of the World Trade Organization?  Did you know that this agreement will impose very strict Internet copyright rules, ban all “Buy American” laws, give Wall Street banks much more freedom to trade risky derivatives and force even more domestic manufacturing offshore?  If you have not heard about this treaty, don’t feel bad.  Obama has refused to even give Congress a copy of the draft agreement and he has banned members of Congress from attending the negotiations.  The plan is to keep this treaty secret until the very last minute and then to railroad it through Congress and have it signed into law by October.  The treaty is known as “the Trans-Pacific Partnership”, and the nations that are reported to be involved in the development of this treaty include the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Brunei, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.  Opponents of this treaty refer to it as “the NAFTA of the Pacific”, and if it is enacted it will push the deindustrialization of America into overdrive.
The “one world” economic agenda that Barack Obama has been pushing is absolutely killing the U.S. economy.  As you will see later in this article, we are losing jobs and businesses at an astounding pace.  And each new “free trade” agreement makes things even worse.

For example, just check out the impact that the recent free trade agreement that Obama negotiated with South Korea is having on us…

  • A 10 percent decline of U.S. exports to Korea
  • The U.S. trade deficit with Korea has climbed 37 percent
  • U.S. auto industry has been crippled
  • Loss of U.S. control where international trade, banking and finance is concerned
  • A projected 159,000 jobs will be lost

Wait a second – I though that “free trade” agreements were actually supposed to increase exports.

So why have they declined by 10 percent?

Did someone make a really bad deal?

And of course we have all seen the economic devastation that NAFTA has wrought.

When NAFTA was pushed through Congress in 1993, the United States actually had a trade surplus with Mexico of 1.6 billion dollars.  By 2010, we had a trade deficit with Mexico of 61.6 billion dollars.

And “free trade” with China has turned out to be a complete and total nightmare as well.

Back in 1985, our trade deficit with China was approximately 6 milliondollars (million with a little “m”) for the entire year.

In 2012, our trade deficit with China was 315 billion dollars.  That was the largest trade deficit that one nation has had with another nation in the history of the world.

But instead of learning from the mistakes of the past, Barack Obama is pressing for more “free trade” agreements.

The New York Times is calling the Trans-Pacific Partnership “the most significant international commercial agreement since the creation of the World Trade Organization in 1995“.  It is reportedly going to include a whole host of provisions which wouldnever be able to get through Congress on their own.  Even though this treaty will affect all of our daily lives, the Obama administration is keeping this treaty a total secret.  In fact, Obama won’t even show it to Congress even though members of Congress have asked repeatedlyto see it…

The agreement, under negotiation since 2008, would set new rules for everything from food safety and financial markets to medicine prices and Internet freedom. It would include at least 12 of the countries bordering the Pacific and be open for more to join. President Obama has said he wants to sign it by October.

Although Congress has exclusive constitutional authority to set the terms of trade, so far the executive branch has managed to resist repeated requests by members of Congress to see the text of the draft agreement and has denied requests from members to attend negotiations as observers — reversing past practice.

While the agreement could rewrite broad sections of nontrade policies affecting Americans’ daily lives, the administration also has rejected demands by outside groups that the nearly complete text be publicly released.

So exactly who in the world does this guy think that he is?  Why won’t Obama let us know exactly what is in this treaty?

Fortunately, there have been a few leaks.  One thing that we have discovered is that this new treaty would reportedly ban all “Buy American laws“.

That certainly would not be popular if it got out.

And do you remember SOPA?

The American people wanted nothing to do with the very strict Internet copyright provisions of SOPA and loudly expressed their displeasure to members of Congress.

Unfortunately, now the provisions of SOPA are back.  It is being reported that most of the provisions of SOPA have been quietly inserted into this treaty.  If this treaty is enacted, those provisions will become law and the American people will not be able to do anything about it.

And according to the New York Times, there are all sorts of other disturbing things that have been slipped into the treaty…

And yet another leak revealed that the deal would include even more expansive incentives to relocate domestic manufacturing offshore than were included in Nafta — a deal that drained millions of manufacturing jobs from the American economy.

The agreement would also be a boon for Wall Street and its campaign to water down regulations put in place after the 2008 financial crisis. Among other things, it would practically forbid bans on risky financial products, including the toxic derivatives that helped cause the crisis in the first place.

Are you starting to understand why the Obama administration is keeping this treaty such a secret?

UN Small Arms Treaty May Be Signed Under Cover Of Darkness

Instead of taking the opportunity to sign the United Nations Small Arms Treaty on Tuesday, the White House has indicated that Barack Obama will sign it sometime before the end of August. This causes some concern as to what type of event the White House is waiting on to exploit the emotions of Americans to gain support for the measure and put pressure on the Senate to ratify it. Many have suggested that the signature will come under cover of darkness, sometime in August, When Congress will not be in town.

Press Secretary Jay Carney said that Obama aims to sign the treaty “before the end of August.” Tuesday was the earliest he could have signed it.

“We believe it’s in the interest of the United States,” he said. “While we look forward to signing the treaty, there are remaining translation issues that need to be resolved.”

The Hill points out,

The National Rifle Association (NRA) opposes the treaty, and the delay would allow Obama to sign the pact during the August doldrums, with Congress out of town.

That time frame appears to validate the concerns of treaty advocates who had worried the administration would wait until the cover of darkness to sign a treaty opposed by a majority of senators.

Rachel Stohl, a senior associate with the Stimson Center, which supports the treaty, said “I think there’s a lot of political hand-wringing going on. They know people are going to be paying attention to this particular issue on this particular day.”

Secretary of State John Kerry released a statement on Monday in which he said the US “welcomes the opening of the Arms Trade Treaty for signature.” He also said that as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily, Obama would be looking forward to signing it.

So there needs to be conforming official translations and that, completed satisfactorily. Sounds similar to being ready to sign something that you have no idea what it really says. Obamacare, anyone? Seems like that is the case on an international scale where the treaty has already passed overwhelmingly.

Kerry went on to state:

“The Treaty is an important contribution to efforts to stem the illicit trade in conventional weapons, which fuels conflict, empowers violent extremists, and contributes to violations of human rights. The Treaty will require the parties to implement strict controls, of the kind the United States already has in place, on the international transfer of conventional arms to prevent their diversion and misuse and create greater international cooperation against black market arms merchants. The ATT will not undermine the legitimate international trade in conventional weapons, interfere with national sovereignty, or infringe on the rights of American citizens, including our Second Amendment rights.

We commend the Presidents of the two UN negotiating conferences – Roberto Garcia Moritan of Argentina and Peter Woolcott of Australia –for their leadership in bringing this agreement to fruition. We also congratulate all the states that helped achieve an effective, implementable Treaty that will reduce the risk that international transfers of conventional arms will be used to carry out the world’s worst crimes.”

The Secretary of State made no mention of his boss’ current administration providing thousands of weapons to some of the world’s worst criminals to carry out some of the world’s worst crimes which is still ongoing and has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens and at least two federal agents.

The Senate has already signed a resolution to not ratify the treaty thanks to the work of men like Senator Mike Lee (R-UT). Also, 130 members of Congress recently sent a letter to both Obama and Kerry opposing the treaty, writing “We strongly encourage your administration to recognize its textual, inherent and procedural flaws, to uphold our country’s constitutional protections of civilian firearms owners, and to defend the sovereignty of the United States, and thus to decide not to sign this treaty.”

The treaty, while be touted by liberals as something that stops guns from falling into the hands of terrorists, is deeply flawed, leaves open the possibility of changes or different interpretations that would only put a stranglehold on the United States. Furthermore, the treaty will have no effect upon governments, such as the Obama administration, that openly and knowingly provide weapons to drug cartels and negotiates support, along with RINOs in the Senate (not mentioning any names here, but at least one’s initials are John McCain (R-AZ)), with enemies of America to arm them.

Ultimately, no matter what we are told by the politicians, it is an attack upon freedom; a freedom we may just have to one day use to stop the growing tyranny.

One other thing to keep in mind. Iran is also one of the countries that the United Nations installed to help police the treaty. Noticeably missing from oversight on the treaty is the United States.

There is not a question of whether Barack Obama will sign the treaty, only when. Timing is key for him and he demonstrated that by putting his support behind the treaty once again within hours of his re-election.

Let’s keep getting the word out that not only should this treaty be opposed, but should be completely removed from the table of consideration so that it cannot be snuck through in a future Congress.

Veteran Has His AR-15 Confiscated By Police For Fending Off Burglar

Medford, Oregon — This story is so outrageous that it’s almost beyond belief. How can the police confiscate the weapon of a crime victim who did nothing wrong?

An Oregon man has had his rifle confiscated and is facing criminal charges after he attempted to stop a wanted felon from breaking into his home by firing a warning shot.

…Authorities say 40-year-old Jonathon Kinsella, a wanted felon, was attempting to flee the scene when he was arrested on outstanding warrants, including for burglary and assault.

…Military veteran Corey Thompson, 36, told KDRV-TV that the wanted felon was trying to beak into his home via the back door. Defending his property, Thompson said he warned the criminal that he was armed and he was giving him his one and only warning shot.

“This is the end result. You break into someone’s house, there’s consequences,” Thompson said.

Wielding his AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, the veteran made good on his threat and fired one warning shot. The bullet did not strike the suspect or anyone else.

…However, police later determined he wasn’t justified in firing his weapon. Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau said “there was nothing that the suspect was doing that was aggressive enough to justify the shooting.”

Apparently, for police in Medford, a wanted felon trying to break into a law-abiding citizen’s home isn’t enough to justify a warning shot.

Thompson was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and reckless endangering. The veteran’s AR-15 was seized by police because they claim it was used in the commission of a crime.

Does this felon have to be stabbing Thompson in the throat before he’s allowed to fire a warning shot? This should not be allowed to stand. The behavior of this police department is outrageous and completely disgraceful. Everybody involved in this decision at the Medford Police Department should be sued, fired and even more importantly, Corey Thompson should be cleared of all charges and given his AR-15 back immediately.

Teacher Faces Disciplinary Action For Telling His Students About Their Constitutional Rights

Robert Heinlein said: “When any government…undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives.”

Oppression is a daily occurrence. We are oppressed by our public schools; we are oppressed by our “scientists,” and we are oppressed by our federal government. All major industries related to the federal government have cornered the market on oppression of the people. Public schools indoctrinate our children, universities force Socialist and Marxist ideals on their students, and “scientists” don’t allow anyone into their fields who would question the status quo. It is with oppression that power is at its strongest.

According to Town Hall:

“An Illinois Social Studies teacher faces disciplinary action for reminding his students of their Fifth Amendment rights when filling out a school survey on behavior…John Dryden was collecting the surveys before class when he noticed the students’ names were printed on them. He looked to see what was being asked and noticed questions about alcohol and drug use…Dryden told his students that they had a Constitutional right to not incriminate themselves by answering questions on the survey.”

As a result of Mr. Dryden informing his students about their basic Fifth Amendment rights, he is now facing disciplinary charges. Lucky for him, numerous people have risen to his defense.

With all the government scandals bringing fresh memories into our minds of past tyranny, it is an incident like this that makes my skin crawl. Tyranny doesn’t have a grand beginning; it never does. It starts with minor incidents; slowly collecting over time, and culminating in outright oppression. Tyranny takes time to accumulate strength; like a fighter in training. When it’s ready, it will knock us out with a single blow.

First, whether or not it is within the powers of the school to bring the hammer down with disciplinary action, it is entirely absurd. Dryden did absolutely nothing wrong when he merely informed his students of their Fifth Amendment right to decline self-incrimination if they had anything they didn’t want made public.

Second, I’m not sure whether it is within the bounds of the school’s power to ask these types of questions in the first place. Without anonymous surveys being offered, any information provided in ink would be directly linked to the student who filled out the survey. This behavior is unseemly at best and dangerously invasive at worst.

With Dryden facing disciplinary action, I can only shiver at the thought of what else public schools could do with the power they believe they have. Tyranny starts in small places.

A few weeks ago, President Obama advised graduates at Ohio State University that they need not listen to voices warning about tyranny around the corner, because we have self-government in America. He argued that self-government is in and of itself an adequate safeguard against tyranny, because voters can be counted upon to elect democrats (lowercase “d”) not tyrants. His argument defies logic and 20th-century history. It reveals an ignorance of the tyranny of the majority, which believes it can write any law, regulate any behavior, alter any procedure and tax any event so long as it can get away with it.

FoxHistory has shown that the majority will not permit any higher law or logic or value — like fidelity to the natural law, a belief in the primacy of the individual or an acceptance of the supremacy of the Constitution — that prevents it from doing as it wishes.

Under Obama’s watch, the majority has, by active vote or refusal to interfere, killed hundreds of innocents — including three Americans — by drone, permitted federal agents to write their own search warrants, bombed Libya into tribal lawlessness without a declaration of war so that a mob there killed our ambassador with impunity, attempted to force the Roman Catholic Church to purchase insurance policies that cover artificial birth control, euthanasia and abortion, ordered your doctor to ask you whether you own guns, used the IRS to intimidate outspoken conservatives, seized the telephone records of newspaper reporters without lawful authority and in violation of court rules, and obtained a search warrant against one of my Fox colleagues by misrepresenting his true status to a federal judge.

JFoxames Rosen, my colleague and friend, is a professional journalist. He covers the State Department for Fox News. In order to do his job, he has cultivated sources in the State Department — folks willing to speak from time to time off the record.

One of Rosen’s sources apparently was a former employee of a federal contractor who was on detail to the State Department, Stephen Jin-Woo Kim. Kim is an expert in arms control and national defense whose lawyers have stated that his job was to explain byzantine government behavior so we all can understand it. When he was indicted for communicating top secret and sensitive information, presumably to Rosen, his lawyers replied by stating that the information he discussed was already in the public domain, and thus it wasn’t secret.

Prior to securing Kim’s indictment, the Department of Justice obtained a search warrant for Google’s records of Rosen’s personal emails by telling a federal judge that Rosen had committed the crime of conspiracy by undue flattery of Kim and appealing to Kim’s vanity until Kim told Rosen what he wanted to hear. In a word, that is rubbish. And the FBI agent who claimed that asking a source for information and the federal judge who found that the flattering questions alone constituted criminal behavior were gravely in error.

Reporters are protected in their craft by the First Amendment, and the Supreme Court has ruled that they can ask whatever questions they wish without fear of prosecution. If Kim revealed classified information to Rosen — a charge Kim vigorously denies — that is Kim’s crime, not Rosen’s. The Supreme Court ruled in the Pentagon Papers case that it is not a crime for a journalist to seek secrets, to receive them, to possess them and to publish them so long as they affect a matter of material public interest.

The government’s behavior here is very troubling. Government lawyers and FBI agents are charged with knowing the law. They must have known that Rosen committed no crime, and they no doubt never intended to charge him, and they never have. They materially misled the judge, who saw the phrase “probable cause” of criminal activity (taken from the Fourth Amendment) in their affidavit in support of the search warrant they sought, and he signed. The judge should have seen this for the ruse it was. It is inconceivable that a person could conspire to commit a crime (release of classified information) that is impossible for that person to commit, particularly with a Supreme Court case directly on point.

This misuse of the search warrant mechanism by misrepresentation of the status of the target continues the radicalization of federal criminal procedure now typical of this Department of Justice. It has claimed that it can release military weapons to foreign criminal gangs just to see where the weapons end up, and that its agents cannot be prosecuted for harm caused by those who received the weapons. It has held that the serious consideration given in the White House by high-ranking government officials to the identity of persons the president wants to kill somehow is a constitutional substitute for due process and thus enables the president to use drones to kill people uncharged with federal crimes. It has extended the public safety exception to the Miranda rule from the few seconds at the scene of the crime spent securing the prisoner, where the Supreme Court has said it resides, to more than 72 hours.

And now this.

The reason we have the due process safeguards imposed upon the government by the Constitution is to keep tyranny from lurking anywhere here, much less around the corner. Due process is the intentionally created obstacle to government procedural shortcuts, which, if disregarded, will invite tyranny to knock at the front door and sneak in through the back. Justice Felix Frankfurter warned of this 70 years ago when he wrote, “The history of liberty has largely been the history of the observance of procedural safeguards.” That was true then, and it is true now.

The Left to American Christians: Shut the Hell Up!

A couple of months ago I was conducting an Option 3 Drill of the Modern Army Combatives Program.  In this drill, you must utilize the techniques we have taught the soldier, and he/she must respond by being aggressive, close the gap (or come in closer contact with the opponent) and achieve the clinch (one of the 3 techniques taught) while the instructors and assistant instructors are punching the soldier. During this exercise one day, a soldier was hit in the face because she was not guarding it as she was trained to do.  She backed up a couple of steps and said “d%*n s^*t just got real”.  Recently, I felt that way when the report that the Pentagon was considering punishing soldiers for proselytizing (Sharing your faith in Christ) at work (here).

When we look at the timetable of policies, opinions, and regulations of this administration, a person can’t help but to wonder if they do anything else but hate Christianity with their anti-Christian agenda.  A few weeks ago the DOD released a power point slide adding Evangelical Christians (here) to the Extremist watch list.

As Christians it is a wake up call to the reality that it can happen here in America.  No, scratch that — it is a wake up call that it is happening here!  Everything that is happening right now is a warning sign that our religious freedom is being stripped away.

A prime example of this is the Sports Commentator who is in jeopardy of being fired over his comments about Jason Collins becoming the first openly gay Pro-Athlete.  He simply said, as a Christian, the Bible condemns homosexual activity (here).

As a side story to that — what is amazing is that President Obama called Jason Collins courageous for his coming out, but Mr. Obama couldn’t make a call to rescue the people under siege in Benghazi?  Our government and culture want you to just shut the hell up.  Shut up about Jesus, shut up about gay marriage, shut up about abortion, shut up about corruption, shut up about Obama and shut up about his regime.  JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!

We Can’t Afford to Ignore the Tyranny that Exists

Last weekend, the President warned Ohio State graduates to ignore those voices that are constantly warning of tyranny. Of course, as many have pointed out since then, that would mean (among other things) not reading any history books on the founding of America, which would reveal the fact that our nation’s Founders were even more leery of government over-reach than the vast majority of modern patriots.

Not long ago, a friend recommended a book of mine on his Facebook page, only to have one of his other friends, a pastor, message him privately to warn him against that book. Of course, the helpful pastor was warning him about a book he himself had not bothered to read, based solely on the title.  It’s called Resistance to Tyrants: Romans 13 and the Christian Duty to Oppose Wicked Rulers.

 The bottom line of the pastor’s warning was this [paraphrased here]: I’ve looked up several definitions of tyranny, and we’re a long way from experiencing that. 

Which immediately set me to looking up the dictionary definition, in several versions. I won’t quote them all here. But the one below is very representative of what you’ll find elsewhere:

TYRANNY (noun):

  • arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic abuse of authority. Synonyms: despotism,absolutism, dictatorship.
  •  the government or rule of a tyrant or absolute ruler.
  •  a state ruled by a tyrant or absolute ruler.
  •  oppressive or unjustly severe government on the part of any ruler.
  •  undue severity or harshness.

In addition, some dictionaries will point out that the ancient Greeks especially employed the word to speak of any usurper, or one who had attained power unlawfully.

The “money” adjectives above, the ones that really describe a tyrant, are thus “arbitrary,” “oppressive,” “unjust,” “severe,” etc.

The unnamed pastor above apparently has not been paying attention.

For instance, as the new Benghazi hearings continue, it’s now plain as day that the administration’s story about the attack being caused by reaction to a YouTube video was a complete fabrication. The President and all his minions knew without a doubt from the beginning that this was not the real reason. And yet, to this day, the only person “brought to justice” over Benghazi is the man who made the video. He still sits in prison, as of this writing.

Today, we read that the IRS is admitting that it targeted the President’s political opponents for extra-special treatment during the last campaign.

 Anybody take a plane trip lately? How do you spell oppression? T – S – A.

Do a search for terms like “domestic drone surveillance,” “Utah Data Center,” and “Presidential Kill List,” and then come argue that we’re “a long way from experiencing” injustice, severity, and oppression.

Even if we explore the minority definition of tyranny, the Greek one about usurpation, we would have to admit that it’s been a long, long time since the federal government was anything but a tyranny, having usurped (or stolen) authority that they were never lawfully authorized by the Constitution. Who gave the feds the authority to regulate education, for instance? Answer: no one. They took that for themselves.

One of the writers of the Anti-Federalist Papers presciently predicted that the “commerce clause” of the Constitution would be used as an excuse to claim near-unlimited power. Oh, but wait, we’re supposed to ignore the voices warning of tyranny.

To complete the story I began with, the pastor in question went on to admit that he’d never really studied the passage of the Bible that was in question. He doesn’t think he needs to. All he’s ever done is repeat what he’s been told by others. Trace that back, and you’ll find all of them did the exact same thing.

This is how Christianity is turned into the spiritual equivalent of an anorexic teenager. Her pastors refuse to really set good food on the dinner table, and the ones invited to eat don’t complain.

You can be part of fixing that. Start complaining. Why hasn’t your own pastor warned from the pulpit of the encroachment and threat of government tyranny?

Tyranny Continues to Grow


CA Governor Signs Law Allowing Confiscation of Firearms

On May 1, California Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation that allows law enforcement to confiscate handguns and assault rifles from Californians who bought the weapons legally but have since had a disqualifying “criminal conviction or serious mental illness.”

Legislators believe up to 20,000 Californians will fall under this law, which could mean up to 40,000 weapons need to be confiscated. The legislation “allocates $24 million in surplus funds” to hire “dozens of special agents” to help recover the weapons.

Since California keeps a database of gun owners, they know where every gun is–or where it’s supposed to be–and they’ll use that database to locate them.

Sen. Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) said the money California has spent to maintain a “tracking program” on firearms has paid off and is now giving the lawmakers “the opportunity to confiscate [these guns].”

No word on when the confiscation will begin.

As many of us know, the President is one of the most ardent followers of Saul Alinsky. For both, the truth is relative. Consider what the President said earlier this month in his speech in Colorado:

“And so we’ve seen enacted tougher background checks that won’t infringe on the rights of responsible gun owners, but will help keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.”

Conveniently wrong, but truth is relative.

In the same speech he says,

“Over the past 20 years, those background checks have kept more than 2 million dangerous people from buying a gun.”

If that mattered a hill of beans to him why has his administration prosecuted only 44 “of the 15,700 fugitives and felons who tried to illegally purchase a firearm” in 2010 alone?

During the 2008 elections, in a comment about the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment, he said that he believes:

“‘[T]hat the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can’t constrain the exercise of that right.’”

I’m sorry. If he admits that the “Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms” isn’t the next part of his statement a bit contradictory with the rest of the Second Amendment’? You know, that part that says “shall not be infringed? Either we have the full right, un-infringed or we do not have it at all. It’s not a half and half thing. (And since when did our rights get “conferred” upon us? Those delineated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights come from GOD as the Founding Fathers acknowledged.)

The Founding Fathers, in backing the Second Amendment said things like,

“The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.”

That’s Alexander Hamilton, who later added,

“If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no recourse left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government.”

Sounds to me more as if the Founding Fathers — and the words they chose — meant for the people to be able to defend themselves against the government! That’s who “the representatives of the people” are: the President, the House and Senate, the Courts and the State and local governments. So the President’s assertions that it “does not mean that the state or local government can’t constrain the exercise of that right. [my italics]” is not just wrong, it’s in direct opposition to what Alexander Hamilton and other Founders have said!

Now the President is using the Sandy Hook massacre to further his cause via using the parents as backdrops, and one of them taking his place in the weekly radio address (and traveling at our expense to do his bidding). Their grief, difficult as it is to say anything negative about it, is being used to stoke fear into the hearts of the rest of us. It happened to their children. It could happen to ours. Thus, “gun control” must be the answer. We must take the guns away from everyone.

No. They don’t start there. They start with alleged “assault rifles” and high capacity magazines, then they go to other weapons and their ultimate goal: no one will have guns but the government. (Oh, and the people they say can have guns: celebrity body guards, gangsta-rappers; you know. People who need them.)

The President using fear — and, yes, grief — to try to control those who do not know their rights, do not think for themselves, do not do their own investigating of the facts, is (to me) despicable. He’s relying on the least informed, least educated and weakest of us to be able to control the rest of us, pitting one set against the other. Divide and conquer is his forte and he has used it for quite a while now. No, I’m not saying the parents of Sandy Hook are the least informed, etc. I’m saying that the parents’ loss is being used against those who are least informed, etc.

When a President uses tragedies of the Sandy Hook sort to start the process of disarming the people he has an agenda that cannot be good for the people. When he uses a tragedy like Sandy Hook’s parents’ loss as a backdrop and a selling point, he’s selling fear. When he uses fear…

This is what Socialism looks like if…

Socialism… you happen to be a productive member of society.

Yesterday we wrote about Fun and Games in the Mediterranean, how the government of Cyprus was getting set to “tax” bank accounts from 6% to 10% to get the IMF to bail out their two largest banks.  The banks shut off all electronic transfers, today is a bank holiday and the government has extended it through Wednesday.  The Cypriot (interesting the last four letters of that little nation) Parliament has not yet codified the “tax” but it’s on the way.

Let’s take a quick look back at the two most interesting quotes from Europe’s political class from yesterday.

European officials said it would not set a precedent.

and

officials were quick to say Cyprus was a unique case.

Today, we’re learning more about this “grand bargain.”

First of all, it appears that the highest tax rate will be 15%.  It will have three tiers, 6% on small accounts, 10% on account of rich people and 15% on the wealthy.  I’m sure it’s all about fairness.

Now you may think a 15% tax on your bank account is outrageous, but the Cypriots are lucky the Germans didn’t get their way.  ZeroHedge reports that they wanted a flat tax of 40%.

Second, let’s talk about yesterday’s highlights.  No precedent, Cyprus was a unique case.

The Germans, who are throwing up their hands and screaming “Not our idea!!” are pointing every finger they can find and everybody who’s handy.

BERLIN (Reuters) – Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble deflected blame on Monday for a European bailout deal for Cyprus that foresees hitting small savers in the Mediterranean island’s banks, saying this solution had not been a German idea and that he was open to it being changed.

They’re obviously lying through clenched teeth.

Not only are the Germans – who provide all the European money for bailouts in the EuroZone – lying about Cyprus, they’ve got their eyes on Italy.

Joerg Kraemer, chief economist of the German Commerzbank, has called for private savings accounts in Italy to be similarly plundered. “A tax rate of 15 percent on financial assets would probably be enough to push the Italian government debt to below the critical level of 100 percent of gross domestic product …”

I find it interesting that the IMF, the European Union and the financial media are calling this raid on private bank accounts a “tax.”  Kind of like the way the Obama administration, the Congress and the US major media are now referring to the ObamaCare penalties as a “tax.”  In fact, neither are taxes.

 Let’s be quite clear; the European Union has confiscated the private property of the citizens in Cyprus without debate, legislation or Parliamentary agreement …

A bank account is not a bond or a stock or any sort of investment. This seems to be lost on many people. A bank account is the private property of a citizen or a corporation and does not belong to the government or at least that was the supposition up until now in Europe.

Europe is on the edge.  For all the talk of “austerity” in Greece, Spain and Italy, those governments haven’t faced the reality that they have to make fundamental changes in their government.  There were riots in Greece and Italy over cuts that were the rough equivalent of the sequester here in the US.  In other words, no real cuts.

Greece, Italy and Spain will all require additional bailouts from the EU and IMF.  France will be the next country to fall off the fiscal cliff.  Look for more “taxes” imposed by the unelected financial wizards and then you will see real rioting.

Note that big concern with Italy is that their debt to GDP ratio is over 100%.  That is a financial red line from which there is little hope of recovery.  Note also that President Obama and his Democrats have driven the US debt to GDP to 107% and the US major media hasn’t said a word.

Pay attention to Europe, the same situation is coming our way and there will be nobody around who can bail out the US.

Obama Opens Door Wider For A New World Government

If you were wondering how President Obama and Democrats plan to settle-up with all their foreign campaign contributors look no further than the 2013 State of the Union address. On February 12, in front of the entire world, the “food stamp” President announced that the U.S., the European Union, and our Pacific Trade Partners are negotiating a comprehensive global partnership to combine and implement both the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreement (TAP) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

If you thought the first four years of Obama were alarming, wait until this global integration of cunning international law becomes a reality in America. Mind you, it is right around the corner, just ask our new Secretary of State John Kerry.

The TAP and TPP billed as a brilliant Obama plan to create American jobs and a stunning 0.4% GDP growth rate (projected) by designing a free trade zone combining North America, the European Union, and Pacific Rim economies, is a dangerous agreement blending European/Asian legal and economic models with U.S. domestic policy initiatives for:

  • Food safety, health, consumer and environmental standards
  • Product Standards for chemicals, autos, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and emissions
  • Establishment of new rules governing supply chains, local content, state-owned enterprises, trade facilitation, energy, raw materials, data privacy, labor and the environment, competition, and small-to-medium-size enterprises

Obama is now spearheading the “integration” and “harmonizing” of Global administrative regulations and U.S. domestic law that will forever change American businesses operation and regulation. An Obama led assimilation of these so-called trade partnerships into American domestic policy will change everything we understand about energy, healthcare, agriculture, finance and foreign government investment in our nation and the United States WILL become unrecognizable.

The President who has proudly overseen our “jobless economic recovery” is now making plans that guarantee further increases in private sector unemployment through outsourcing, the death of homegrown entrepreneurship by increased foreign government purchase of U.S. based businesses and the adoption of less expensive and eugenics based global healthcare models in America. For those Americans who fear U.S. transformation into a European style Democracy, I have some sobering news for you. Obama’s second term agenda is now making that a reality in America.

For years, Obama’s appointees (Czars) to enigmatic government advisory boards have been developing broad foreign trade policy agendas and domestic policy initiatives without Congressional oversight or public knowledge. Although some members of Congress attempted to bring these czar led operations to the attention of the American public the liberal dominated Obama enamored news media, the supporters of U.S. transition to a European style Democracy, handily re-shaped the issue to one of fair global trade policy and as always used the race card to silence all critics.

Recently, given the evolving Dominican prostitution scandal, I did a little investigative research regarding accused sexual deviant Sen. Robert Menendez (D.). Many of the bills he has authored, as none of them were relevant to economic growth or jobs creation, baffled me. However, Sen. Menendez, Chairmen of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, seems to have a fondness for penning and supporting legislation designed to reduce or eliminate tariffs and trade restrictions for Asian made chemicals, food preservatives, and pharmaceutical products imported to the U.S. I still have not found Sen. Menendez foreign campaign funding sources. Probably because most of them own U.S based businesses, but my investigation made one thing abundantly clear to me, liberal politicians have no plans to the save American economy or American jobs.

Obama and Democrats are too busy paying back their foreign campaign benefactors and their U.S. Treasury customers to give America’s fiscal health any honest consideration. Keeping America’s government dependent Democrat supporters fat and happy is the only liberal priority. After all, liberals are going to need their foreign friends money to get Hillary elected in 2016 and continue their radical efforts “to fundamentally change America” to accept the coming Global liberal renaissance.

Do not fall asleep on this one America. If you think your businesses, unemployment, and the U.S. economy are suffering now, Obama’s coming mandates for foreign business investment and European style environmental regulations will make the last four years feel like a walk in the park. The truth of Presidential State of the Union addresses can always be found between the lines.

Another Socialist Nail in the Coffin Of American Freedom

URGENT: Veterans are receiving letters from Obama administration prohibiting the ownership of firearms… Developing…

How would you feel if you received a letter from the U.S. Government informing you that because of a physical or mental condition that the government says you have it is proposing to rule that you are incompetent to handle your own financial affairs? Suppose that letter also stated that the government is going to appoint a stranger to handle your affairs for you at your expense? That would certainly be scary enough but it gets worse.

What if that letter also stated: “A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both pursuant to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Pub.L.No. 103-159, as implemented at 18, United States Code 924(a)(2).”?

That makes is sound like something right from a documentary on a tyrannical dictatorship somewhere in the world. Yet, as I write this I have a copy of such a letter right in front of me. It is being sent by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of America’s heroes. In my capacity as Executive Director of the United States Justice Foundation (USJF) I have been contacted by some of these veterans and the stories I am getting are appalling.

The letter provides no specifics on the reasons for the proposed finding of incompetency; just that is based on a determination by someone in the VA. In every state in the United States no one can be declared incompetent to administer their own affairs without due process of law and that usually requires a judicial hearing with evidence being offered to prove to a judge that the person is indeed incompetent. This is a requirement of the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that states that no person shall “… be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law…”.

Obviously, the Department of Veterans Affairs can’t be bothered by such impediments as the Constitution, particularly since they are clearly pushing to fulfill one of Obama’s main goals, the disarming of the American people. Janet Napolitano has already warned law enforcement that some of the most dangerous among us are America’s heroes, our veterans, and now according to this letter from the VA they can be prohibited from buying or even possessing a firearm because of a physical or mental disability.

Think about it, the men and women who have laid their lives on the line to defend us and our Constitution are now having their own Constitutional rights denied. There are no clear criteria for the VA to declare a veteran incompetent. It can be the loss of a limb in combat, a head injury, a diagnosis of PTSD, or even a soldier just telling someone at the VA that he or she is depressed over the loss of a buddy in combat. In none of these situations has the person been found to be a danger to themselves or others. If that was the case than all of the Americans who have suffered from PTSD following the loss of a loved one or from being in a car accident would also have to be disqualified from owning firearms. It would also mean that everyone who has ever been depressed for any reason should be disarmed. In fact, many of the veterans being deprived of their rights have no idea why it is happening.

The answer seems to be it is simply because they are veterans. At the USJF we intend to find the truth by filing a Freedom of Information Act request to the Department of Veterans Affairs to force them to disclose the criteria they are using to place veterans on the background check list that keeps them from exercising their Second Amendment rights. Then we will take whatever legal steps are necessary to protect our American warriors.

The reality is that Obama will not get all of the gun control measures he wants through Congress, and they wouldn’t be enough for him anyway. He wants a totally disarmed America so there will be no resistance to his plans to rob us of our nation. That means we have to ask who will be next. If you are receiving a Social Security check will you get one of these letters? Will the government declare that you are incompetent because of your age and therefore banned from firearm ownership. It certainly fits in with the philosophy and plans of the Obama administration. It is also certain that our military veterans don’t deserve this and neither do any other Americans.

Another Atempt Toward Tyranny


Dems Sponsor Bill To Violate Fourth Amendment Rights Of Gun Owners

628x471Washington State Democrats have sponsored Senate Bill 5737, which has a little provision that apparently was to go unnoticed that would have said that police have a right to search a private citizen’s home once per year if they own certain types of firearms.

According to the legislation:

In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall … safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.

Yes, that means liberal Democrats pushed forward this legislation in open and defiance of the Fourth Amendment. But that’s not all. When they were caught with their hands in the cookie jar, they exclaimed it wasn’t their fault and that they made mistake.

“I have to admit it shouldn’t be in there,” said Sen. Ed Murray (D-Seattle). “I made a mistake,” said Sen. Adam Kline (D-Seattle). “I frankly should have vetted this more closely.”

Yeah, there was no mistake. This was deliberate. Murray and Kline were sponsors of the bill. They knew exactly what was in it. This is just more BS from the Left.

Murray also told a gun-control rally in January, “We will only win if we reach out and continue to change the hearts and minds of Washingtonians. We can attack them, or start a dialogue.”

Interestingly, Danny Westneat at the Seattle Times writes about Lance Palmer, a Seattle trial lawyer and self-described liberal. “I’m a liberal Democrat — I’ve voted for only one Republican in my life,” Palmer told me. “But now I understand why my right-wing opponents worry about having to fight a government takeover.”

He added: “It’s exactly this sort of thing that drives people into the arms of the NRA.”

Now this part is actually somewhat encouraging. If a self professed liberal Democrat, a trial lawyer at that, understands why we believe a real danger of government takeover and abandonment of the law of the land is genuine, then that is at least one guy who is thinking. Hopefully, he’ll drop his liberalism and become a pro-gun attorney!

Submission to Tyrants is Rebellion to God

Thomas Jefferson, along with some others of the Founders, is credited with saying, “Resistance to Tyrants is obedience to God.” (It may have been an oft-repeated motto, much like our modern “They can have my gun when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.”)

Jefferson’s statement is Biblically correct. I’ve expended a lot of time and effort to prove that, as have others before me. I want to approach it from a different angle today.

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God. That’s true as stated, but it is also true in its opposite, parallel form, like this:

Submission to tyrants is rebellion to God.

It’s not rocket science, as they say, but there is enough bad teaching out there that we really do need to say it plainly. If resistance is obedience, then submission is wicked. In fact, I propose this: To submit to a tyrant as if he is a lawful ruler is anti-Christian.

Historically speaking, there is no honorable precedent among the great, Christian heroes for failing to oppose a tyrant. And, at a fundamental level, to cower before a tyrant is to violate the consistent Biblical model, from cover to cover, from Genesis to the maps. Today, I want to show you that failure to resist tyranny represents a galling lack of Christian love. Submission to tyrants is un-Christlike, precisely because it is unloving.

How so? Well, the Bible tells us that we are supposed to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31, for instance.) It also gives us the duty of coming to the defense of those who are unjustly oppressed (as in Isaiah 1:17.) So, if a government in rebellion toward God is oppressing your neighbors, and you refuse to stand up for them or to oppose that tyranny in any way, does that sound like obedience or disobedience to you?

Go ahead. You can say it out loud. We all know the answer anyway.

Deitrich Bonhoeffer, the WW2 era preacher and martyr, who did, in fact, seal his testimony with his own blood, put it succinctly in a few famous lines. He wrote:

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.

Bonhoeffer’s colleague was a pastor named Neimoller, who had a rather more passive, let’s-all-get-along view toward their particular tyrant. He wound up paying for it. He penned the famous lines:

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn’t a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

Some in our day would tell us that texts like Romans 13:1-7 teach us that we should obey as far as we can, and only resist when the government commands us to sin. Let’s be clear: That is a fair statement of our duties toward lawful government. But when we use that as a thumb-rule for action in the face of tyranny, it becomes the cloak of cowardice.  It becomes Neimoller’s failed strategy of silence. A modern patriot, for whom I have a great fondness, admittedly, put it this way:

There is something conveniently self-centered about this proposed strategy. “Wait to resist until I personally am ordered to sin.” While you wait for the moment the government tells you to renounce Christ, your neighbors and fellow citizens are being trampled by the unrestrained, unjust use of power.

Today, as I write this, I read the report of a farmer who began serving a 30 day jail sentence for the crime of collecting rainwater that had fallen on his own land. And something close to 3,000 babies will be dismembered in the womb or burned to death in a salt solution today, with the government’s sanction and the assistance of taxpayer money. As the Scripture says, “Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people.” (Proverbs 28:15) But, hey, as long as you personally haven’t yet been commanded to blaspheme God, I guess we can all breathe easy.

As William Wilberforce said, “A private faith that does not act in the face of oppression is no faith at all.” [Source]

In another place, the Bible says this: “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

We rightly see that as having something to do with monetarily providing for our family. Surely, it does include that. But what about providing other basic necessities of life, besides food and shelter, for what the founding fathers called “our posterity?” Specifically, what about the necessity of liberty? I know that sounds corny in our day, because nobody cherishes their freedom like the founders did.

Christian men in America routinely plop onto their couches in front of horrible programming on television, or worse, with a video game console, and ignore the steady encroachment of tyranny in their land. As long as they personally are comfortable, and can play their stupid, emasculating first-person shooters for hours on end, well, life is good and what else could matter? And their vile laziness and quest for personal peace winds up passing on to their own children a world in which the flame of freedom grows inexorably colder. How is that providing for your household? Somebody tell me.

How can that be loving? How can it be Christian? It can’t be. It’s time we remembered that courage is a Christian virtue, just as surely as piety is; and, conversely, that the Bible condemns cowards to be exiled from God’s city. (Revelation 21:7-9)

A nation should be concerned when it seems its leader has tired of the grueling work of democracy.

One of the most remarkable and frightening aspects of President Barack Obama’s inaugural address was his dismissal of his opposition – presumably the House Republican caucus – as “absolutists” who are without “principle.”

They are mucking up Obama’s agenda, and he won’t have it.

“For now decisions are upon us and we cannot afford delay,” Obama said. “We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate. We must act, knowing that our work will be imperfect.”

Absolutism, as defined by Merriam-Webster, is a form of despotism – “government by an absolute ruler or authority.” That the president of the United States is accusing his democratically-elected opponents of acting in a tyrannical fashion is a remarkable development with potentially profound implications.

Once the president’s opponents have been defined in the American mind as despotically inclined, unsusceptible to reason, and unwilling to play by the normal rules of politics, it is only natural that extreme measures are permitted in response.

This White House has already shown a propensity toward ruling by executive fiat – whether by executive action that effectively enacts rejected legislation, by refusing to enforce existing law, or by crafting rules for legislation to grant vast new powers to bureaucrats.

Once it has de-legitimized the opposition, the White House can claim it is left with no choice but to accelerate and expand its use of executive power. What else can they do, the president and his operatives will argue, when faced with the insanity of the Republicans?

The press, which avidly buys into the notion that much of the House Republican caucus is beyond reason, will lend a sympathetic ear to Obama as he struggles with the forces of darkness.

That reporters have been tapped to assist with Obama’s incipient GOP demonization campaign was made clear this week by White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, who in the handful of days since the inaugural, has already repeated the “absolutism” charge twice.

What the hell just happened? That is the question that many Americans should be asking themselves following the news conference where Obama unveiled his plan for destroying the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution. At first glance it appeared to be a case of Obama shamelessly using the deaths of innocents, and some live children as a backdrop, to push for the passage of radical gun control measures by Congress. Most of these have no chance of passing, yet, Obama’s signing of Executive orders initiating 23 so called Executive actions on gun control seemed like an afterthought.

Unfortunately, that is the real story, but it is generally being overlooked. The fact is that with a few strokes of his pen Obama set up the mechanisms he will personally use to not only destroy the Second Amendment to the Constitution, but also the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments. It will not matter what Congress does, Obama can and will act on his own, using these Executive actions, and will be violating both the Constitution and his oath of office when he does it.

Here are the sections of the Executive Order that he will use:

“1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background-check system.”

What exactly is relevant data? Does it include our medical records obtained through Obamacare, our tax returns, our political affiliations, our military background, and our credit history? I suggest that all of the above, even if it violates our fourth Amendment right to privacy will now be relevant data for determining if we are allowed to purchase a firearm.

“2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background-check system.”

This should be read in conjunction with section 16 of the order that says:

“16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.”

One of the few amendments successfully placed in Obamacare by conservatives does appear to prohibit doctors from asking such questions. Yet, with these two Executive actions, Obama is illegally amending an act of Congress and setting up a procedure for him to force doctors to gain information from patients about gun ownership, and to get our medical history.

Section 3 of Obama’s order states:

“3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background- check system.”

Once again, what does this mean? What information does the Federal government want from the states? Copies of state personal and business income tax returns or court records of divorce and child custody cases are possibilities that come to mind as well as our voter registrations showing our party affiliations. How does any of this figure into our right to purchase a firearm?

One of the most dangerous and troubling sections of the Obama order in Section 4 that states:

“4. Direct the attorney general to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.”

This section directs Eric Holder, the architect of Operation Fast and Furious that illegally transferred several thousand semi automatic weapons to Mexican drug cartels and resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens and several U.S. border patrol agents, to now add people indiscriminately to the list of Americans ineligible to purchase firearms. Who might be added to the list?

Well, let’s look at the record of the Obama administration. Shortly after being appointed as the Director of the Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano sent a list of potential domestic terrorists to law enforcement agencies around the country. The list included individuals who were pro-life, who supported the Second Amendment, who had Ron Paul bumper stickers on their cars, and most disturbing, all members of the military returning from combat in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The list has recently been supplemented to include individuals who hoard more than a week’s supply of food and water, and those who support individual liberties and oppose big government. I belong on most of these lists and I suspect that Eric Holder will be adding all of us to the list of dangerous people not qualified to own guns. In other words, you will no longer have to be a convicted felon or mentally ill to make the list; you will qualify simply by being an American patriot.

This is not a conspiracy theory, at the United States Justice Foundation we are seeing increasing evidence that military veterans are being specifically targeted by the Obama administration when it comes to prohibitions against purchasing firearms. Any veteran diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is in danger of being banned from owning a firearm. Even those veterans suffering from mild depression are being added. None of these conditions constitute a mental illness that makes them a danger to themselves or others.

However, in Obamaland veterans who took an oath to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”, are definitely considered a threat to the new Fuehrer and must not be allowed to own firearms.

If we skip to Section 6 of the order we get a good idea of Obama’s real intentions when it comes to gun control. That sections states:

“6. Publish a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.”

This is particularly interesting because one of the legislative proposals is to require universal background check requirements for any firearm transfer even between private citizens. In other words, you can’t sell your firearm or even give it to someone as a gift without Federal government approval. It is doubtful that this proposal will pass in the House of Representatives, yet Obama is already setting up the mechanism for enforcing the requirement. That is a clear signal that he doesn’t care what Congress does, he is going to violate the Constitution and bypass the Legislative branch in order to push his agenda to disarm the American people. I suspect he will ultimately use Executive orders to ban many weapons including most rifles and pistols.

There are numerous other actions dictated in the Obama order, but I think you get the idea. Our Second Amendment right is going to be taken from us for whatever reasons Obama decides. The simple act of opposing these actions can cause the Attorney General to place you on the list of “dangerous people”. Our privacy will be violated and all of this will be done without due process of law. That is what just happened.
