Senators want Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Department of Homeland Security to investigate “all acts of violence, intimidation and domestic terrorism” by white supremacists, white nationalists or associated groups and prevent them “from fomenting and facilitating additional violence.”

“About 80 percent of all recovery happens because of non-profits, and the majority of them are faith-based,” Greg Forrester, CEO of NVOAD, told USA Today.
Several individual organizations have aided in the relief operations in major ways as well. Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical disaster relief group led by evangelist Franklin Graham, recently began a relief mission to the Caribbean to help victims of the hurricanes on various islands. Samaritan’s Purse also has ongoing relief operations in Houston and is preparing to aid Florida in the aftermath of Irma.
“FEMA – they have been a big blessing to us, they’re an assistance to us,” Luther Harrison, vice president of North American Ministries for Samaritan’s Purse, told USA Today. “For Hurricane Irma, the majority of our equipment has already been dispatched to Texas … so our office in Canada is bringing their equipment across the border and FEMA was instrumental in helping us clear that with customs and getting all the paperwork done.”
The United Methodist Committee on Relief, which has 20,000 volunteers trained to serve in disaster response teams, not only helps clean up the mess and repair the damage inflicted on homes by disasters, but also helps families with the process of applying for and receiving aid from various government relief programs.
The Seventh Day Adventists help state governments with warehousing various goods and necessities to aid communities in the aftermath of a disaster.
“Right now, in the state of Texas, we are going around with FEMA trying to help them select a facility,” Derek Lee, director of disaster response for Adventist Community Services, told USA Today. “It’ll actually be the state’s facility but it’ll be us that helps them manage it. We are going around with them right now trying to help them pick out a facility that will accommodate what the need is going to be on the ground.”
Non-denominational Christian relief organization Convoy of Hope helps to provide meals to victims of natural disasters by setting up feeding stations in affected communities, and they often do so at FEMA’s request. Most recently the group prepared three trailer trucks filled with food and necessities to be shipped out to areas affected the worst by the hurricanes.
The services that faith-based relief groups have rendered to ravaged communities has not only helped the families and individuals affected by the storms, but has also translated into billions of dollars worth of aid for the states in general, which must match and pay back the economic aid given to them by FEMA. The volunteers, who come at no cost to state governments, count toward the states’ matching of FEMA funds.
“FEMA can not do what it does so well without the cooperation of faith-based non-profit organizations and churches,” Rev. Jamie Johnson, director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships, told USA Today. “It’s a beautiful relationship between government and the private sector and it is something to behold.”

They were hit by planes on that fateful morning during a series of coordinated attacks by al Qaeda hijackers.
Another plane, United Airlines Flight 93, crash landed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers stopped the terrorists from hitting their intended target.
The powerful photos include candid shots of then-President George Bush as he came to terms with the horrifying attack on the United States.

Democrats argue that the GOP fixation on voter fraud is all about denying some citizens the right to vote, meanwhile Republicans argue that the Democrats near-monolithic defense of voter fraud is all about winning extra votes. Both arguments have merit, but the Democrats are lying when they pretend that the problem simply doesn’t exist.
Every election there are countless examples of voter fraud (sometimes even mass voter fraud) that come to light, and this election has been no different. However, the latest shoe to drop on the voter fraud front could be a game changer… if the national media will pay any attention to the story.
In New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton won the vote by the slimmest of margins. Less than 3K votes separated the two candidates. The race for Senator was even closer, and some local elections were decided by just a handful of votes. These facts make what the state government just discovered all the more troubling.
State law requires that anyone moving to the state must acquire a new driver’s license within 60 days of establishing residency, but more than 5K 2016 voters have still not done that, leading authorities to believe that these were fraudulent voters who came to the state to influence the outcome of the election.
On Nov. 8, 2016, 6,540 voters used an out-of-state driver’s license as identification to vote but as of Aug. 30, 2017, only 1,014 of those individuals – 15.5 percent – had been issued a New Hampshire driver’s license, according to the data.
Of the remaining 5,526 individuals, only 3.3 percent – about 213 people – had a registered motor vehicle.
That would leave 5,313 people who used an out-of-state license to vote but never obtained a new New Hampshire license despite being required to by state law after implying that they were establishing residency or domicile in the state to vote in November.
Of the 5,313 individuals who registered to vote same-day on Election Day, 81 percent – 4,314 people – neither held a New Hampshire driver’s license nor had a registered vehicle in the state ever.
With the exception of the gubernatorial race – where Republican Chris Sununu easily bested Democrat Colin Van Ostern by more than 16,000 votes – Democrats won all the other statewide and Congressional races.
But three races were determined by less than 5,000 votes: Gov. Maggie Hassan, a Democrat, beat incumbent U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte by 1,017 votes – although many have suspected that last minute, illegal campaign mailers pushing votes to independent Aaron Day cost Ayotte the race. Hillary Clinton bested Donald Trump by 2,736, earning the state’s 4 Electoral College votes even though she ultimately lost the presidency. U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter was sent back to Congress after she bested incumbent U.S. Rep. Frank Guinta by a few more than 4,900 votes.
In the grand scheme of things 5K fraudulent votes in a nation of 315 million people may not seem like much, but in a state where 3 of the most important races were decided by less than 5K votes, it’s monumental. Consider the failed Obamacare repeal vote; could Senator Kelly Ayotte have helped the GOP ram repeal through? Or how much help could Rep. Frank Guinta be giving the House GOP if he’d actually defeated his liberal opponent?
The state government must continue its investigation and these fraudulent voters must be brought to justice. Voter fraud is a felony and it should be investigated and prosecuted as such.

Democrat Illinois Rep. Luis V. Gutiérrez released a video reacting to Trump’s decision on DACA where he implied that DACA recipients and their supporters should be turning to violence.
“I want to say something that so that we’re clear,” Gutierrez stated on the video. “Yes, we will be on the streets fighting.”
Over the past month we’ve seen what liberals fighting in the streets looks like, and it is quite violent and quite brutal. Gutiérrez is essentially calling for more violence in the United States.
“Yes, we will go to the courts to fight, and we will also insist that our friends and our allies in the Congress of the United States don’t sign a budget, don’t support a budget, don’t collaborate with Republicans and give us a budget unless there is a safe place legislatively, an avenue legislatively, that secures the future for the 800,000 DACA recipients,” he added.
“Let’s be clear. We are going to fight in the courts, we are going to fight in the streets, but also we are going to fight in the Congress of the United States to make sure legislatively we have a solution,” he concluded at the end of the video.

Gutiérrez has been a particularly outspoken proponent of DACA. In August, he was actually arrested at a protest outside the White House demanding that Trump keep DACA in place.
The Washington Times also noted that Gutiérrez (who has not served in the military) claimed that White House chief of Staff John Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general, is a “disgrace” to the military because he didn’t stop Trump from ending DACA.
“General Kelly is a hypocrite who is a disgrace to the uniform he used to wear. He has no honor and should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists and those enabling the president’s actions by ‘just following orders,” his statement read.
Rhetoric like that isn’t really going to help Gutiérrez convince people that his side is right. Calling for fighting in the streets and disparaging a decorated Marine general only makes sane Americans think you are off your rocker.

Tensions between the United States and North Korea have been dramatically increasing for the past few weeks, with North Korea routinely threatening a nuclear attack on the United States. The Pyongyang regime’s most recent threat is one of its most disturbing to date. North Korea’s state-run media claimed the country could kill millions of Americans by detonating an electro-magnetic pulse in the upper atmosphere over the United States, Fox News reported this week
In its most basic terms, an EMP is a burst of energy that wipes out almost all electronic devices. Cell phones, car batteries, power stations, pretty much anything that runs on electricity, would be permanently fried, or at the very least severely damaged.
North Korea could achieve this by detonating a hydrogen bomb in the atmosphere. Nuclear explosions result in EMPs, and the EMP from a high-atitltude burst of a nuclear weapon would be devastating to the United States.
“The biggest danger would be shorting out of the power grid, especially on the East Coast. Imagine a situation where large sections of the U.S. had no power. Imagine New York or Washington, D.C., with no power for just a week. The implications would be hard to fathom,” Harry Kazianis, director of defense studies at the Center for the National Interest.
“The casualty rates would be off the charts,” he added.
While it sounds like something from science fiction, the threat is very real. After an EMP burst, there would be no electricity on the power grid, which would mean no running water, no hospitals, no heat (or air conditioning depending on where you are) and no transportation.
Essentially we would be back in the 19th century age for months, maybe even years.
“That in it of itself is going to kill thousands if not millions depending on the size of it and where it is dropped. Also, nuclear weapons carry radioactive fallout that would be spread thousands of miles through the atmosphere and oceans,” Kazianis explained.
The government has long known about this threat, but very little has apparently been done about it. While it is unlikely that North Korea could actually pull something like this off, we should never discount the possibility. North Korea has surprised us with their capabilities before.
With millions of lives at stake, the government needs to be acting to stop this threat from ever becoming a reality.

It should be fine though. He’ already been criticized for ‘only’ giving a million dollars of his own money.
This is the same President who never gets to face his qccusers before the story goes public, and most of thoe stories are told with ‘alternate facts’.
One of them they’d probably be fine with. As for the other parents? News like that could give some of them a stroke.
Perfect example: Franklin Graham. Franklin is definitely his ‘own person’. He’s been on their hit list for a very long time. They aren’t fans of his take on Islam. Or how he weighed in on Charlottesville. Because his charity — Samaritan’s Purse … which among other things it does, specializes in disaster recovery is a great choice. But to know Franklin Graham’s cause got them some coin? It must be driving them crazy. $100,000.
Red Cross and Salvation Army each got $300K. They’ll probably think that’s more or less fine they might chafe at the religious nature of Salvation Army, but will recognize it for the work it does. They’ve probably fogotton entirely about the founding of the Red Cross and assume it’s strictly secular.
Trump also said he would also give $100,000 to Reach Out America, a Houston-based charity connected to the United Pentecostal Church International.
And $25k each to:
—Operation Blessing International, a faith-based disaster-relief charity based in Virginia Beach
—Catholic Charities
— The Houston Humane Society
—The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
—Team Rubicon, a charity that sends teams of military veterans to help in disaster zones.
—Portlight Inclusive Disaster Strategies, a nonprofit group that focuses on helping those with disabilities.
—Direct Relief, a medical-aid group which has shipped doses of medicines and vaccines — all of which must be kept cold — to flood-ravaged areas in Texas.

The Rubicon seems a really great choice, considering how many citizens stepped up to help their neighbors. Of course, the Media (D) and their liberal playmates will find all sorts of reasons to bitch about it.

Jasmine Block, 15, was abducted by three men, assaulted, and held against her will for about a month before she had a chance to make it to freedom.
One of her abductors, Thomas Barker, was a family acquaintance and claimed he needed help with a family emergency. Only when it was too late to get away did she realize the danger she was in.
Her captors held her under guard and took her to several locations in the area, including a cornfield, and an ‘unoccupied property’.
On one of those trips, she saw her first opportunity to escape.
Then on Tuesday, the men headed to a nearby town for lunch, leaving Block unattended for the first time since her abduction.
The 15-year-old used the opportunity to escape. She tried knocking on several doors before swimming across a section of Thompson Lake, then continued on foot to a nearby community, where she flagged down a passerby and asked him to call 911.
While she was sitting in the Good Samaritan’s car, awaiting police to arrive, she spotted one of her alleged kidnappers drive by and alerted the man, who helped police track down that suspect, reported Voice of Alexandria. –DailyMail
Here are the three losers that (allegedly) abducted and assaulted her:
Block later assisted police in locating the other two men, and all three were taken into custody. Barker, Powers and Holby are currently being held in the county jail on probable cause for kidnapping, false imprisonment and assault.
Good on her for having the guts to take her chance when it came.
She was raised right when so many others aren’t. Give the young ladies the guts and grit they’ll need to stand tall in a broken world, without becoming some angry feminist.

In 2006, President Bush got the brilliant idea to push amnesty on the country. His party was wiped out the very next time voters could get to the polls.
Liberals like to claim that their brave opposition to the Iraq War led to the midterm slaughter, but, as I recall, they were against that war in the 2004 presidential election, too, and Bush won. An April 2006 Washington Post–ABC News poll — taken about a month after Bush launched his amnesty crusade — showed that more Americans approved of Bush’s handling of the Iraq War than approved of his handling of immigration. In nearly every poll on Bush’s handling of immigration that year, a huge majority of the public disapproved
Three years ago, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his seat to an unknown economics professor, Dave Brat, by a whopping 55 percent to 45 percent, despite outspending Brat 40-to-1. It was the first time in history a member of leadership had lost a primary. (This despite Cantor being one of the “Young Guns”!) Brat had explicitly attacked Cantor for supporting amnesty.
Most spectacularly, last year, an utterly implausible presidential candidate crushed all his opponents — including the media — and won the White House by promising to deport illegals and build a wall.
The media imagine that President Trump’s deficiencies are an argument for not taking his positions seriously. Oh no — it’s just the reverse. The fact that Trump’s supporters implacably stick by him, through every horror, proves they are willing to put up with any lunacy if it means getting that agenda.
We already tried amnesty once. The 1986 amnesty under Reagan was supposed to be a one-time fix. We’d forgive the estimated 1 million illegal aliens living here and, in exchange, draconian measures would be imposed on any employer ever caught hiring an illegal again — up to a $10,000 fine per illegal and jail time for repeat offenders.
There weren’t 1 million illegals — it was 4 million.
It wasn’t a one-time fix. In another real-world example of “incentives,” the first amnesty led to a never-ending stream of illegals across our border, confident of getting in on the next amnesty. We’re told the DACA amnesty will apply only to a very small, discrete group of unbelievably fantastic illegals — who melt Ivanka’s heart by refilling her water glass at Cipriani with such alacrity!
Not only that, but there will be strict requirements on who qualifies for a DACA amnesty.
None of which will ever be enforced.
Congress has passed laws requiring that immigrants pay back taxes, learn English, not collect welfare and have good moral character. That’s not too onerous, right? It’s not like we’re requiring them to have any skills or talents that would be valuable to America.
Every single one of these requirements has been scuttled by immigration bureaucrats, federal judges and Democratic presidents. All of ’em. Our immigration bureaucracy is so dedicated to destroying America that it’s made citizens of thousands of convicted felons
This nation is mind-bogglingly generous. But decades of lies make it impossible for even the most tender-hearted American to fall for this bait-and-switch one more time.
Every politician swears up and down that he wants a “secure border.” But then these same politicians go absolutely berserk when Trump says he wants to build a wall.
They say we’ll get enforcement right after the amnesty. That’s obviously absurd. When the tub is overflowing, water pouring out of the faucet, across the carpets, down the stairs, up the dining room walls, we don’t debate whether we’re going to dry clean the curtains or throw them out. We don’t argue about whether to use a mop or towels. FIRST: Turn off the water.
As long as both political parties stoutly refuse to build the wall, we know they are not serious about ever stopping illegal immigration. (Luckily, the Constitution gives the commander in chief full authority to protect our borders, with or without congressional approval.)
We know what happened after the Reagan amnesty. We know politicians and the media are lying to us. Why, some of the politicians who lied to us then are lying to us today, for example, Chuck Schumer.
No matter how innocent and lamblike a “Dreamer” they produce to tear at our heartstrings, it won’t work anymore. Decades of their perfidy has made sympathy impossible. It’s as if, night after night, Paul Ryan knocked on our door and asked us to take in one helpless orphan and, night after night, we crack open our door, only to be set upon by 30 armed felons with tire chains and brass knuckles.
At a certain point, Ryan might actually produce a sad orphan. Who knows? It’s theoretically possible. But we could not be faulted for not opening the door.
Politicians and the press are themselves responsible for thoroughly killing any human sympathy Americans may have had for illegal immigrants — even the “Dreamers” (whom Ivanka adores, but would die before sending her kids to a school jam-packed with them).

The anarchist movement’s violence against white men is rooted in academia. Intersectional feminists on campuses teach their students about “heteropatriarchy” (or patriarchy, for short) and other pillars of white supremacy, including sexism, colonialism, orientalism, capitalism, colorism, and a host of other -isms that are all said to oppress everyone today — except for white men.
Conveniently enough, minorities who disagree with the orthodoxy and its “intersections of oppression” are said to suffer from “internalized oppression” caused by the white supremacist society they supposedly live in. Because white men are considered the “oppressor,” most of antifa’s assaults have been committed against white men. The victims included white male progressives — and those who simply look like white men.
In the months since Donald Trump’s election to office, white men have been the victims of antifa violence across the United States and Europe. In February 2017, antifa thugs and Black Lives Matter activists in London assaulted a man holding up a sign that read “the right to openly discuss ideas must be defended,” whom they accused of being a Nazi.
There was no shortage of anarchist violence at the University of Washington in early April, when black clad protesters scuffled with police and assaulted a white male Trump supporter. Through the use of “black bloc” tactics — dressing in full black and moving as a cluster — the group was able to maintain its anonymity as it harassed students.
During the Berkeley “Free Speech Rally” in mid-April, black-clad antifa supporters assaulted a disabled veteran who was sitting in a wheelchair by dumping liquid onto him as he attempted to speak to them peacefully. A man who stood between antifa and the veteran was robbed of his cellphone by another masked antifa thug.
During the same protest, an antifa protester assaulted (though this description is generous, she was half his size) a photojournalist for attempting to put out the fire that the group set.
The most egregious instance of violence happened during the same protest, when Eric Clanton, a professor at Diablo Valley College and antifa supporter, was captured on video smashing a Trump supporter in the head with a bike lock.
Antifa’s assaults were not limited to Trump supporters or disabled military veterans. During a protest in Boston in August, a liberal who refused to denounce all white people as white supremacists was sucker-punched in the back of the head by an antifa thug.
Of course white men aren’t the only targets of antifa violence. In a New York Times report, a Syrian Muslim student 
at UC Berkeley was assaulted by antifa members who accused him of merely looking like a white man. He was told that he “looked like a Nazi.” He was pepper-sprayed and hit with a rod before he could offer a reply.
If there was a gang just going around assaulting members of any other demographic, there would be blood in the streets and the newspapers would be plastered with headlines condemning the group.

I would also like to reiterate what we said in … the last meeting [concerning Jack Phillips]. Freedom of religion and religion has been used to justify all kinds of discrimination throughout history, whether it be slavery, whether it be the Holocaust … I mean, we can list hundreds of situations where freedom of religion has been used to justify discrimination. And to me it is one of the most despicable pieces of rhetoric that people can use—to use their religion to hurt others.
Little did Rice know, Phillips’ father fought in World War II, and saw many of the Holocaust atrocities for himself. In The Daily Signal’s latest edition of “Underreported,” Phillips recounts learning about the Nazi concentration camps from his father in the years before he passed away, and describes what it was like to hear a government official compare not making a cake for a same-sex wedding to the atrocities committed during the Holocaust.
“I don’t have words for it,” Phillips told The Daily Signal. “But it’s wrong.”

US law — until Obama nixed it — said that Cubans fleeing the Communist regime would be granted permanent residency status if they had ‘one foot’ on American soil.
“By taking this step, we are treating Cuban migrants the same way we treat migrants from other countries,” Obama wrote in a statement Thursday.
“The United States, a land of immigrants, has been enriched by the contributions of Cuban-Americans for more than a century,” he continued. “Since I took office, we have put the Cuban-American community at the center of our policies. Elian’s Miami relatives argued if the boy went back to Cuba, he would become a brainwashed trophy for Castro in his long-running feud with the US.
As the two sides fought out the high-profile case in court, U.S. immigration officials decided to put Elian in the custody of his father, who had come to the United States to press for his son’s return.
Elian is now 23 and a solid communist. He believes in the ‘Revolution’ and is joining the Cuban army. He also blames the United States for the many Cubans that take their lives in their hands — like his mother did — to flee. But hey, it’s not like he was ‘used politically’ like he claims he would have been in the United States.
At his seventh birthday party, the guest of honor was Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Images of Elian and Castro celebrating were first shown on the island’s state-run TV and then transmitted around the world, to a public still fascinated by the case of the rafter-boy.
“I don’t profess to have any religion, but if I did my God would be Fidel Castro. He is like a ship that knew to take his crew on the right path,” Gonzalez said in an interview with Cuba’s state-run media in 2013.

Via Herman Cain: DACA was created via executive order back in 2012. Obama has called the decision to end it “cruel” and “self-defeating.” As usual, his outrage is patently, provably, phony.
Obama himself admitted that DACA was a “temporary stop-gap measure” during the very speech where he announced its existence. It was never supposed to be permanent, and it wasn’t a path to citizenship…
Clearly Obama didn’t believe his own words. It’s nice to see another president hold up a previous president’s promise. Rarely do we see government programs stay temporary. Our IRS and welfare programs are a great example of the destruction such organizations can cause if implemented in the long run.

In the most significant escalation yet in the wrangling between Congress and the FBI over the Trump dossier, the House Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed the bureau and the Justice Department for documents relating to the dossier, the FBI’s relationship with dossier author Christopher Steele, and the bureau’s possible role in supporting what began as an opposition research project against candidate Donald Trump in the final months of last year’s presidential campaign.
The subpoenas are an indication of growing frustration inside the committee over the FBI and Justice Department’s lack of cooperation in the Trump-Russia investigation.
Gowdy’s thoughts:
The subpoenas are the result of a months-long process of committee investigators requesting information from the FBI and Justice Department. Beginning in May, the committee sent multiple letters to the FBI and Justice requesting information concerning the Trump-Russia affair.
“We got nothing,” said committee member Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., who is taking a leading role in the Russia investigation. “The witnesses have not been produced and the documents have not been produced.”

The word “taqiyya” quite literally translates as: “Concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of eminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury.”
In other words, dissimulation, which means to purposefully hide something underneath a false appearance.
The concept of concealing one’s faith and the goals associated therewith from those who don’t share said beliefs is believed to have arisen early and become accepted on the Shia side of the Islamic split. It was used in order to counter persecution or threats coming from the Sunni side of the split, though Sunnis have also embraced the concept over the centuries as well, and adapted its use to further their own jihad.
Many Islamic scholars have gone to great effort to cite specific instances in the Quran that would support the belief that it is not only permissible, but even encouraged, for a Muslim individual to deliberately lie to non-Muslims about their faith or intentions, if doing so would save them from potential harm while at the same time not causing any harm to the Islamic faith as a whole.
Part 3 of al-Islam’s dissertation on dissimulation quoted several different suras from the Islamic holy book, two of which were suras 3:28 and 16:106.

“Let not the believers take for friends or helpers unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, (they) shall have no relation left with Allah except by way of precaution (“tat-taqooh”), that ye may guard yourselves (“tooqatan”) from them,” read 3:28, which essentially stated that lying by way of precaution to guard oneself was acceptable and wouldn’t draw the wrath of Allah.
Sura 16:106 stated nearly the same thing, as “Any one who, after accepting Faith in Allah, utters unbelief, EXCEPT under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in faith — but such as open their breast to unbelief, — on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Chastisement.”
The al-Islam site further sought to justify the deliberate use of deception by Muslims as being perfectly natural and merely the inherent instinct of self-preservation and survival shared by virtually all living things.
So there you have it, not from some supposedly “Islamophobic right-winger,” but straight from the Quran and the Islamic scholars that interpret and explain it on behalf of their faith to enlighten their followers, that Muslims are permitted to lie to non-Muslims in certain circumstances that are rather loosely defined.

“(They’re) a pack of rabid animals,” McNesby said on Friday during a pro-police rally at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 headquarters. “When you go to work each day, you shouldn’t have to worry that a pack of rabid animals will suddenly show up at your home and openly threaten your family. These are not activists, they are racist hate groups determined to instigate violence.”

McNesby’s statement and the rally came in the wake of an ongoing dispute in Philadelphia where a police offcer is under fire after shooting a man as he fled from the officer. While BlackLivesMatter activists want to paint the situation as yet another instance of police brutality, and yet another example of a white officer targeting and shooting a black man… the local P.D. says that’s not at all what happened in this case.
Protests kicked off back in June when Officer Ryan Pownall shot 30-year old Ryan Jones as he fled from the officer. Pownall pulled Jones over for riding an illegal dirt bike on a city street. When the officer patted down the suspect he felt a handgun in the man’s waistband. 
A witness who was in the back of Pownall’s police car said he saw the officer pull his gun and then tell the man not to touch the gun in his waistband. The man then struggled with the officer before pulling his gun from his waistband, but the witness says Jones then dropped the gun, and began to run away. That’s when Pownall fired his gun, hitting the man in the back with two of his shots. Jones later died at a nearby hospital. Police did find a fully-loaded handgun at the scene and have not, as of yet, offered a different version of the story then the witness has described, though the shooting is still under investigation. This is the second time that Officer Pownall has been the center of controversy for shooting a man in the back:
Black Lives Matter, along with others, have been protesting the shooting for weeks. In July, the group marched on the Police Administration Building and City Hall demanding a larger investigation.
Pownall was called a “racist, bigot pig cop” and Khalif said he has “a murderous spirit” — referring to another shooting that the officer was involved. That 2010 shooting left Carnell Williams-Carney paralyzed when a bullet hit him in the back. The shooting was ruled justified and Williams-Carney lost a federal lawsuit against police.
McNesby’s comments about the protesters being a “pack of rabid animals,” comes less than a week after he called their leader “a punk” who should have been arrested for protesting without a permit. When pressed by the media about calling the BLM leader a “punk,” McNesby said, “I can’t use the words I want. To take it to someone’s house, a police officer’s house, he doesn’t have any respect. He’s a two-bit punk who doesn’t have the respect of decent protesters, if there is any in this city.”
McNesby has gotten riled up by the latest protests because the Black Lives Matter protesters (and their leaders in particular) have been using heated, aggressive, and sometimes violent-sounding rhetoric. For example, last week BLM leaders argued that they knew where Pownall lived before insinuating that they might pay the officer and his family a visit. “We have something in the tank,” the BLM leader said. “There is nothing off the table, including coming back to the police officer’s home.”
Both sides should probably consider modulating their rhetoric, but I don’t expect we’ll see anyone do so.

As we’ve explained before, DACA was a wholly unconstitutional attempt by the Obama administration to “do something” about certain illegal immigrants when Congress refused to act.
Here’s the problem, that’s not how our system works.
In our system the LEGISLATURE makes law, the Executive Branch ENFORCES the law, and the Supreme Court gives its OPINION on whether or not certain laws are constitutional and legal.
On Tuesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that the Trump administration was eliminating Obama’s DACA rule, though they would slowly roll back the program over the next 6 months. President Trump put the ball into Congress’ court and told them that the legislature should be the one to fix the DACA mess, and he’s signaled that he’ll sign a new DACA law… IF Congress can pass one.
AG Sessions even quoted prominent LIBERAL law professor Jonathan Turley in explaining why the Obama DACA rule had to go.
George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley in testimony before the House Judiciary Committee was clear about the enormous constitutional infirmities raised by these policies.
He said: “In ordering this blanket exception, President Obama was nullifying part of a law that he simply disagreed with.….If a president can claim sweeping discretion to suspend key federal laws, the entire legislative process becomes little more than a pretense…The circumvention of the legislative process not only undermines the authority of this branch but destabilizes the tripartite system as a whole.”
Already the leftists are going nuts and there are even rumors that former President Obama has something planned to show his disagreement with Trump’s decision to end DACA.
If you think we’ve heard the last of DACA now that the Trump administration has announced it’s end… you’re being naive. The left will continue to fight, tooth and nail, to save DACA and to open our borders. It’s what they do.

Good morning. I am here today to announce that the program known as DACA that was effectuated under the Obama Administration is being rescinded.
The DACA program was implemented in 2012 and essentially provided a legal status for recipients for a renewable two-year term, work authorization and other benefits, including participation in the social security program, to 800,000 mostly-adult illegal aliens.
This policy was implemented unilaterally to great controversy and legal concern after Congress rejected legislative proposals to extend similar benefits on numerous occasions to this same group of illegal aliens.
In other words, the executive branch, through DACA, deliberately sought to achieve what the legislative branch specifically refused to authorize on multiple occasions. Such an open-ended circumvention of immigration laws was an unconstitutional exercise of authority by the Executive Branch.
The effect of this unilateral executive amnesty, among other things, contributed to a surge of unaccompanied minors on the southern border that yielded terrible humanitarian consequences. It also denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same jobs to go to illegal aliens.
We inherited from our Founders—and have advanced—an unsurpassed legal heritage, which is the foundation of our freedom, safety, and prosperity.
As the Attorney General, it is my duty to ensure that the laws of the United States are enforced and that the Constitutional order is upheld.
No greater good can be done for the overall health and well-being of our Republic, than preserving and strengthening the impartial rule of law. Societies where the rule of law is treasured are societies that tend to flourish and succeed.
Societies where the rule of law is subject to political whims and personal biases tend to become societies afflicted by corruption, poverty, and human suffering.
To have a lawful system of immigration that serves the national interest, we cannot admit everyone who would like to come here. That is an open border policy and the American people have rightly rejected it.
Therefore, the nation must set and enforce a limit on how many immigrants we admit each year and that means all can not be accepted.
This does not mean they are bad people or that our nation disrespects or demeans them in any way. It means we are properly enforcing our laws as Congress has passed them.
It is with these principles and duties in mind, and in light of imminent litigation, that we reviewed the Obama Administration’s DACA policy.
Our collective wisdom is that the policy is vulnerable to the same legal and constitutional challenges that the courts recognized with respect to the DAPA program, which was enjoined on a nationwide basis in a decision affirmed by the Fifth Circuit.
The Fifth Circuit specifically concluded that DACA had not been implemented in a fashion that allowed sufficient discretion, and that DAPA was “foreclosed by Congress’s careful plan.”
In other words, it was inconsistent with the Constitution’s separation of powers. That decision was affirmed by the Supreme Court by an equally divided vote.
If we were to keep the Obama Administration’s executive amnesty policy, the likeliest outcome is that it would be enjoined just as was DAPA. The Department of Justice has advised the President and the Department of Homeland Security that DHS should begin an orderly, lawful wind down, including the cancellation of the memo that authorized this program.
Acting Secretary Duke has chosen, appropriately, to initiate a wind down process. This will enable DHS to conduct an orderly change and fulfill the desire of this administration to create a time period for Congress to act—should it so choose. We firmly believe this is the responsible path.
Simply put, if we are to further our goal of strengthening the constitutional order and the rule of law in America, the Department of Justice cannot defend this type of overreach.
George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley in testimony before the House Judiciary Committee was clear about the enormous constitutional infirmities raised by these policies.
He said: “In ordering this blanket exception, President Obama was nullifying part of a law that he simply disagreed with.….If a president can claim sweeping discretion to suspend key federal laws, the entire legislative process becomes little more than a pretense…The circumvention of the legislative process not only undermines the authority of this branch but destabilizes the tripartite system as a whole.”
Ending the previous Administration’s disrespect for the legislative process is an important first step. All immigration policies should serve the interests of the people of the United States—lawful immigrant and native born alike.
Congress should carefully and thoughtfully pursue the types of reforms that are right for the American people. Our nation is comprised of good and decent people who want their government’s leaders to fulfill their promises and advance an immigration policy that serves the national interest.
We are a people of compassion and we are a people of law. But there is nothing compassionate about the failure to enforce immigration laws.
Enforcing the law saves lives, protects communities and taxpayers, and prevents human suffering. Failure to enforce the laws in the past has put our nation at risk of crime, violence and even terrorism.
The compassionate thing is to end the lawlessness, enforce our laws, and, if Congress chooses to make changes to those laws, to do so through the process set forth by our Founders in a way that advances the interest of the nation.
That is what the President has promised to do and has delivered to the American people.
Under President Trump’s leadership, this administration has made great progress in the last few months toward establishing a lawful and constitutional immigration system. This makes us safer and more secure.
It will further economically the lives of millions who are struggling. And it will enable our country to more effectively teach new immigrants about our system of government and assimilate them to the cultural understandings that support it.
The substantial progress in reducing illegal immigration at our border seen in recent months is almost entirely the product of the leadership of President Trump and his inspired federal immigration officers. But the problem is not solved. And without more action, we could see illegality rise again rather than be eliminated.
As a candidate, and now in office, President Trump has offered specific ideas and legislative solutions that will protect American workers, increase wages and salaries, defend our national security, ensure the public safety, and increase the general well-being of the American people.
He has worked closely with many members of Congress, including in the introduction of the RAISE Act, which would produce enormous benefits for our country. This is how our democratic process works.
There are many powerful interest groups in this country and every one of them has a constitutional right to advocate their views and represent whomever they choose.
But the Department of Justice does not represent any narrow interest or any subset of the American people. We represent all of the American people and protect the integrity of our Constitution. That is our charge.
We at Department of Justice are proud and honored to work to advance this vision for America and to do our best each day to ensure the safety and security of the American people.

North Korea’s Hwasong-14 is a powerful ICBM that can range most of the continental U.S., according to leading experts. The North revealed the warhead it intends to mount on its new missile earlier in the day. North Korea claims the test was a “total success,” although there is some evidence that part of the tunnel at the testing site collapsed after the test. North Korea asserts that no radioactive material leaked out during the test.
While this is not the first time the North has claimed to have successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, evidence suggests that this may be the real deal. The seismic data resembled that of a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, suggesting that North Korea tested a nuclear device with an explosive yield of at least 100 kilotons, much larger than any of the North’s previous tests.
Experts estimate that a 100 kiloton bomb detonated at an altitude of about 1 kilometer would likely collapse most civilian structures in a target city.
North Korea appears to have all the components for a viable nuclear deterrent against the U.S. and its allies, specifically an arsenal of theater missiles and an ICBM that can range the U.S., a nuclear warhead, and a reliable re-entry vehicle capable of surviving an intercontinental trajectory. Regardless of whether or not North Korea tested an actual H-bomb, as it claims, North Korea has clearly crossed the threshold from a deterrence standpoint.

One group is Refuse Fascism, a well-funded “resistance” group created for the express purpose of opposing President Trump’s administration. Internal presentations from a Refuse Fascism conference last month said the group intends to make America’s leaders lose “international legitimacy” as a way of ultimately bringing down the Trump presidency, as TheDC first reported.
Both groups have consistently echoed North Korean talking points that demonize America while excusing Un’s genocidal regime, and both groups have instructed their followers to distrust American media reporting that reflects negatively on North Korean leaders’ oppression of their own people.
After the United Nations’ Security Council unanimously voted on August 5 to impose further sanctions on North Korea, both Refuse Fascism and Workers World defended the North Korean regime as the victim of international imperialists.
Workers World’s magazine published an editorial titled “Korea won’t be intimidated.” The editorial claimed America — and not the North Korean regime — is the country standing in the way of peace. The last nine paragraphs of the editorial were direct quotes from North Korea’s government.
Five days later, the magazine published another editorial titled “Self-defense and the DPRK” that portrayed the U.S. as the “oppressor” of North Korea.
Three days after the UN voted on the new sanctions, Refuse Fascism — whose financial backers include left-wing financier George Soros — published an outraged statement that framed the U.S.-North Koreas standoff as “the largest military power in the world bullying a small, isolated country and terrorizing the people of that entire region.”
In July, Refuse Fascism issued a statement accusing the U.S. of using a “playbook of demonization” against Kim Jong Un. The statement urged Americans to put aside their country’s and “act in the interests of humanity instead.”
“Stop thinking like an American,” the statement said. “Start thinking about humanity.”
Both Refuse Fascism and Workers World have railed against the media’s coverage of North Korea. Refuse Fascism’s statement last month urged against believing American media’s “lies and distortion” that portray North Korea — one of the worst human rights’ oppressors in the world — in a negative light.
“No, we should not be comfortable with the disgusting media frenzy, full of lies and distortion, that marches us toward not just another invasion of a small country but a nuclear attack that can wipe out millions of people in one day and threaten the future of life on earth,” the statement declared.
Workers World has similarly criticized “the entire web of the capitalist-owned press and electronic media that marches in lockstep, assuming that everyone will automatically believe their endless hostility against the DPRK.” Last month the group criticized America’s “corporate media” as untrustworthy.
Both Workers’ World Party and Refuse Fascism have been on the front lines of the anti-Trump “resistance.” Both groups were among the organizers of counter-protests on inauguration weekend, where far-left actors staged riots and attacked innocent bystanders.

For months, Refuse Fascism has been planning massive, nationwide demonstrations for November 4. According to the group’s statements, the protests are part of their long-term strategy of creating a “political crisis” resulting in both Trump and Pence being forced from their elected offices.
Three weeks ago, the group held planning conferences for the mass demonstrations. Presentations from the conference reveal the group wants to disrupt the “ability to govern” of America’s leaders and make them “lose respect and legitimacy in the eyes of people here and internationally.” Costing America’s leaders “international legitimacy” is key because it “is a very critical calculation for the rulers of this country.” (RELATED: Activists Plan To Make America’s Leaders Lose ‘International Legitimacy’)
Workers World Party was one of several far-left “anti-fascist” groups present at the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville last month, where James Fields, a 20-year-old white nationalist, drove through a crowd of counter-protesters, killing one person and injuring dozens of others. The group’s activists led the toppling of Confederate monuments following the violence in Charlottesville.
Workers’ World’s stated goals including igniting an international socialist revolution and “the shutdown of the Pentagon and the use of the war budget” — that is, the funding for the Department of Defense — “to improve the lives of the working class and especially the oppressed peoples.”

“The time for half measures in the security council is over. The time has come to exhaust all of our diplomatic means before it is too late. We must now adopt the strongest possible measures. Kim Jong Un’s action cannot be seen as defensive,” she said.
Haley, who has expressed frustration in recent weeks over North Korea’s increased aggression, said “an incremental approach” to handling the country’s nuclear ambitions has failed “despite the best of intentions.”
“We have kicked the can down the road long enough,” she said. “There is no more road left.”
Haley said the United States will circulate a resolution to be negotiated this week for a Monday vote.
North Korea has “slapped everyone in the face in the international community that has asked them to stop,” Haley said.
Later in the meeting, China’s Ambassador to the U.N., Liu Jieyi, pushed for “practical measures” to solve the North Korean nuclear issue, including dialogue.
“The situation on the peninsula is deteriorating constantly as we speak, falling into a vicious circle. The peninsula issue must be resolved peacefully. China will never allow chaos and war on the peninsula,” he said.
The ambassador pushed a joint proposal from his country and Russia in which North Korea would halt its nuclear missile activity, and the United States and South Korea would stop their military exercises. Haley earlier in the meeting called such a suggestion “insulting.”Pyongyang’s claim that it tested a hydrogen bomb caused the Trump administration to sound the alarm on North Korea’s aggression, with Secretary of Defense James Mattis saying Pyongyang would face a “massive military response” should it threaten the United States or its allies.
South Korea early Monday local time conducted live-fire exercises simulating a strike against North Korea in training exercises that followed North Korea’s latest test. Seoul reportedly said Monday that it believes Pyongyang is preparing additional missile launches, including a potential ICBM.
Meanwhile, NBC News reported that Trump will speak with South Korean President Moon Jae In on Monday.
North Korea in July conducted two intercontinental ballistic missile tests and has conducted numerous missile tests throughout this year.
Haley on Monday emphasized the need for the strongest response yet to North Korea, noting the Security Council’s recent unity by unanimously adopting sanctions against Pyongyang last month.
U.S. officials in recent weeks have ramped up the rhetoric about North Korea amid frustrations over its missile tests.
President Trump last month threatened “fire and fury” should the North Korea continue to threaten the U.S.

In a video posted to Facebook by Turning Point News we see River Ridge High School math teacher, Lyn Orletsky, attacking her students for daring to wear Make America Great Again (MAGA) t-shirts into her classroom.
River Ridge High School is in Cherokee County, GA… a county that overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and is still solidly in support of the President. How overwhelmingly did Cherokee County support Trump? 73% of the county’s voters cast their ballots for him. Suffice it to say that Orletsky is in the clear minority in her community, which makes her outburst all the more incredible.
In the video Orletsky can be heard saying, “You cannot wear a swastika to school … you cannot wear ‘Make America Great Again’ like that…. Please go, at least for this class. I don’t care what you do in other classes.”
When one of their classmates incredulously asks, “Wait so both of them have to like flip their shirts inside out because it says Trump on the top?”, the teacher begins to realize that she’s just made a terrible mistake but then makes the situation worse by comparing Trump’s campaign slogan to Nazi accoutrements. “Because it says ‘Make America Great Again! The Neo-Nazis … I’m not saying about Trump, but the slogan…” The teacher argued that the shirts were inappropriate because they reminded her of Neo Nazis!
In the aftermath of the incident the Cherokee County School District has profusely apologized to their students and their families for the teacher’s innapropriate behavior. In a statement the district said, “Her actions were wrong as the ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts worn by the students are not a violation of our School District dress code.” The district also chastised the teacher for also inappropriately sharing “her personal opinion about the campaign slogan during class.”
Further the district said that the school’s principal had met with and apologized to the students in the class and their families. Meanwhile, Superintendent Dr. Brian V. Hightower said that ‘he is deeply sorry that this incident happened in one of their schools, and that “it does not reflect his expectation that all students be treated equally and respectfully by our employees.”‘

Potential financial crimes are a central part of Mueller’s probe. One of his top deputies, Andy Weissmann, formerly helmed the Justice Department’s Enron probe and has extensive experience working with investigative agents from the IRS.
“From the agents, I know everyone has the utmost respect for both Mueller and Weissmann,” said Martin Sheil, a retired IRS Criminal Investigations agent.
And he said Mueller and Weissmann are known admirers of those agents’ work.
“They view them with the highest regard,” Sheil said. “IRS special agents are the very best in the business of conducting financial investigations. They will quickly tell you that it took an accountant to nab Al Capone, and it’s true.”
“The FBI’s expertise is spread out over so many statutes—and particularly since 9/11, where they really focused on counterintelligence and counterterror—that they simply don’t have the financial investigative expertise that the CI agents have,” Sheil continued.
But the team-up between the IRS and Mueller probe could come with political complications. Mueller has already taken some criticism for the number of Democratic donors on his team. Those critiques intensified yesterday, when word leaked that Mueller was coordinating some of his activities with New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a long-time Trump adversary.
The IRS, for its part, became a target of conservative ire during the Obama administration for its investigations into Tea Party groups—probes that Republicans called political witch hunts. The complaints about politicized taxmen could begin again, with the IRS joining forces with Mueller.
A spokesman for the special counsel’s office declined to comment for this story.
It’s been widely reported that the special counsel’s team is trying to “flip” Paul Manafort, the president’s former campaign CEO, in hopes he will provide evidence against his former colleagues. Former federal prosecutors tell The Daily Beast one of Manafort’s biggest legal liabilities could be to what’s called a “check the box” prosecution. Federal law requires that people who have money in foreign bank accounts check a box on their tax returns disclosing that. And there’s speculation that Manafort may have neglected to check that box, which would be a felony. This is exactly the kind of allegation the IRS would look into. 
As special counsel, Mueller is subject to the same rules as U.S. Attorneys. That means that if he wants to bring charges against Trump associates related to violations of tax law, he will need approval from the Justice Department’s elite Tax Division. Trump hasn’t yet named his pick to run the division, which is a post that requires Senate confirmation. At the moment, career officials are helming the division.
One former Tax Division prosecutor told The Daily Beast that this could cause trouble for Trump.
“The fact that there is not a senate-confirmed Assistant Attorney General for the Tax Division, and that the Trump people have disregarded it despite warnings as far back as December that they needed to fill the AAG’s spot… shows what a self-created mess the Trump administration has found itself in,” said the former prosecutor, who requested anonymity to speak candidly. “They have no one to keep Mueller and his Brooklyn team honest. They should be concerned about that.”
The former prosecutor said it could have benefitted Trump if he had an appointee in the division as these proceedings unfold—and that he’s now missed that opportunity.
“They could have picked any two people in the world,” he added, “and they picked nobody.”
Reports are suggesting it will be a massive category 5 storm; winds potentially reaching 180mph or worse
Right now Irma’s course is moving west or northwest and is currently in the dead center of the Atlantic Ocean. The NHC are saying that this storm is an ‘impressive’ hurricane. With the windspeed nearly doubling in just a day’s time, a drastic anomalous rate, the hurricane’s eyewall convention is intense around a small eye.
According to MSN: “Whatever its future path, forecasters said Irma is still expected to be a major hurricane when it nears the Lesser Antilles next week. Some islands could see dangerous wind, storm surge and heavy rain, they said.
If Irma reaches Florida, it could take at least 10 days, a long time to predict tracks with any certainty, said former hurricane center director Rick Knabb, now a hurricane expert at the Weather Channel.”
The Caribbean is projected to get hit by the storm sometime middle of next week. But the path is uncertain as longer term models are varying and suggesting it will hit US, either in Florida or the Gulf of Mexico again.

This has been an ongoing issue for years, with an escalation of worry coming in recent months. Groups such as the ironically named “Antifa” and the racists of Black Lives Matter have been attempting to subvert free speech in the age of President Trump, hoping to add a disclaimer to the First Amendment that negates any words or thoughts that could possibly cause emotional stress to others.
Of course, this is the complete and utter antithesis of free speech, but that hasn’t stopped these liberal extremists from using every trick in the book in order to censor and shame those that oppose them. In Ohio, however, republicans are looking to put an end to this Hitler-esque shaming and censorship once and for all.
“Lawmakers in Ohio are planning to introduce a campus free speech bill to guarantee broad First Amendment protections at public colleges and universities.
“Republican State Representatives Andy Brenner and Wes Goodman announced their plans to introduce the ‘Ohio Campus Free Speech Act’ Tuesday, just days after a decision by Ohio State University banning all window decorations from dorms.

“The legislation will aim to prohibit ‘universities and administrators from taking action, including communicating in an official capacity, that limits or chills the expression of any member of the campus community or their invited guests based on the content of the expression,’ Brenner explained in a press release Tuesday.
“Another portion of the bill would eliminate the ‘free speech zones’ confining speech to specific parts of college campuses, decreeing that administrators may not limit free expression on any part of campus that is ‘generally accessible.’”
While running the risk of sounding like an elderly man trying to run the whippersnappers off of his lawn, many Americans remember a time in which free speech literally meant free speech.
Now, however, leftist cowards have commandeered the concept, continually inventing new buzzwords and pronoun rules in an attempt to constantly be on top of the shame heap that they’ve created for themselves. Their throne is nothing more than a stack of burned books and redacted ideas, the likes of which would have made even the most cognizant Nazi blush in shame.
