Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Groups Spreading North Korean Propaganda

Two of the nation’s most active anti-Trump “resistance” organizations are taking decidedly pro-North Korea stances in the United States’ developing nuclear standoff with the communist country, whose leader, Kim Jong Un, has repeatedly threatened to launch a nuclear strike against America.

One group is Refuse Fascism, a well-funded “resistance” group created for the express purpose of opposing President Trump’s administration. Internal presentations from a Refuse Fascism conference last month said the group intends to make America’s leaders lose “international legitimacy” as a way of ultimately bringing down the Trump presidency, as TheDC first reported.

The other group is Workers World Party, a Marxist organization that has played a leading role in anti-Trump demonstrations across the country.

Both groups have consistently echoed North Korean talking points that demonize America while excusing Un’s genocidal regime, and both groups have instructed their followers to distrust American media reporting that reflects negatively on North Korean leaders’ oppression of their own people.

After the United Nations’ Security Council unanimously voted on August 5 to impose further sanctions on North Korea, both Refuse Fascism and Workers World defended the North Korean regime as the victim of international imperialists.

Workers World’s magazine published an editorial titled “Korea won’t be intimidated.” The editorial claimed America — and not the North Korean regime — is the country standing in the way of peace. The last nine paragraphs of the editorial were direct quotes from North Korea’s government.

Five days later, the magazine published another editorial titled “Self-defense and the DPRK” that portrayed the U.S. as the “oppressor” of North Korea.

Three days after the UN voted on the new sanctions, Refuse Fascism — whose financial backers include left-wing financier George Soros — published an outraged statement that framed the U.S.-North Koreas standoff as “the largest military power in the world bullying a small, isolated country and terrorizing the people of that entire region.”

In July, Refuse Fascism issued a statement accusing the U.S. of using a “playbook of demonization” against Kim Jong Un. The statement urged Americans to put aside their country’s and “act in the interests of humanity instead.”

“Stop thinking like an American,” the statement said. “Start thinking about humanity.”

Both Refuse Fascism and Workers World have railed against the media’s coverage of North Korea. Refuse Fascism’s statement last month urged against believing American media’s “lies and distortion” that portray North Korea — one of the worst human rights’ oppressors in the world — in a negative light.

“No, we should not be comfortable with the disgusting media frenzy, full of lies and distortion, that marches us toward not just another invasion of a small country but a nuclear attack that can wipe out millions of people in one day and threaten the future of life on earth,” the statement declared.

Workers World has similarly criticized “the entire web of the capitalist-owned press and electronic media that marches in lockstep, assuming that everyone will automatically believe their endless hostility against the DPRK.” Last month the group criticized America’s “corporate media” as untrustworthy.

Both Workers’ World Party and Refuse Fascism have been on the front lines of the anti-Trump “resistance.” Both groups were among the organizers of counter-protests on inauguration weekend, where far-left actors staged riots and attacked innocent bystanders.

Refuse Fascism has consistently organized mass demonstrations, in Berkeley and elsewhere, that have turned into riots. The group is backed by a progressive charity that is in turn funded by George Soros, a major labor union and several large companies, as TheDC’s Chuck Ross first reported. The group lists Ivy League professor and DNC platform member Cornel West as one of the group’s “initiators.”

For months, Refuse Fascism has been planning massive, nationwide demonstrations for November 4. According to the group’s statements, the protests are part of their long-term strategy of creating a “political crisis” resulting in both Trump and Pence being forced from their elected offices.

Three weeks ago, the group held planning conferences for the mass demonstrations. Presentations from the conference reveal the group wants to disrupt the “ability to govern” of America’s leaders and make them “lose respect and legitimacy in the eyes of people here and internationally.” Costing America’s leaders “international legitimacy” is key because it “is a very critical calculation for the rulers of this country.” (RELATED: Activists Plan To Make America’s Leaders Lose ‘International Legitimacy’)

Workers World Party was one of several far-left “anti-fascist groups present at the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville last month, where James Fields, a 20-year-old white nationalist, drove through a crowd of counter-protesters, killing one person and injuring dozens of others. The group’s activists led the toppling of Confederate monuments following the violence in Charlottesville.

Workers’ World’s stated goals including igniting an international socialist revolution and “the shutdown of the Pentagon and the use of the war budget” — that is, the funding for the Department of Defense — “to improve the lives of the working class and especially the oppressed peoples.”

‘Weaponized Failure’: The Truth About Antifa Protesters (Video)

Published by ClashDaily.com | July 20, 2017

This video gives the BRUTAL truth about the Antifa protesters. It. Is. Perfect.

The ‘antifascist’ group that was once on the fringe is becoming mainstream because of attention from The Media (D) and the #Resistance.

The Left is committed to embracing any group that will ‘resist’ President Trump, no matter how delusional or mixed up in their worldview. In some bizarro Leftist world, President Trump is a fascist. So are conservatives that think that free speech is something that we can — and should — engage in.

It was the so-called anti-fascists that have been tearing Berkeley apart anytime a conservative tries to speak on campus. First Milo Yiannopoulos, then Ann Coulter. We’ll see what happens in September when Ben Shapiro heads over to UC Berkeley to speak. Shapiro has already called out the Administration to not hide behind Antifa‘ and says that ‘the home of the free speech movement has an obligation to protect free speech‘.

Antifa has made it their job to ‘resist’ President Trump. There’s a reason for that — for most of them, it’s the only ‘job’ they have.

And it’s so weird that the Left is ok with supporting them in their version of ‘resistance’. These people are violent. They are destructive.

If conservatives are ‘evil’ for their fight against a hiked up minimum wage, (which would raise prices on everything and cut workers’ hours,) then what about the people that smash up and loot the Starbucks that actually employs people? It’s not like the employees can show up for their shift if the store is closed for repairs, right?

Besides, where are the Antifa folks going to get their post-protest Frappuccino?

There are rabid feminists fighting for Muslims to have the right to subjugate and abuse women because to do otherwise wouldn’t be ‘tolerant’.

Ugh. These people are so ridiculous.

Watch:

Yes, they’re people with a worldview that appears to be stitched together with all the skill exhibited by Dr. Frankenstein when creating his monster. It’s huge, ugly, and it lumbers about scaring people. The big difference between Frankenstein’s monster and Antifa is that the monster was devastated by his frightening exterior and was a gentle soul on the inside. Antifa is thrilled that they’re scary monsters.

The Antifa crowd are so very committed to tolerance that they are completely intolerant of the people that disagree with them.

These people are happy to ‘punch a Nazi’ and to them, anyone that disagrees is a Nazi.

These Leftist extremists are wreaking havoc everywhere.

Is this where we want to be as a society?

These Antifa thugs are bullies and don’t even see that they are the very thing that they claim to fight against.

It’s time to change our culture.

Revealed: The Antifa Plan To Get Liberals To Embrace Violence

An “open letter” published on an anarchist website urges liberals and progressives to take the side of violent “anti-fascist” (Antifa) groups. Antifa have often embraced violent acts like rioting, breaking storefronts, and beating political opponents on the streets, which has correlated with an increasing number of violent incidents directed at conservatives and Republicans. (RELATED: This List Of Attacks Against Conservatives Is Mind Blowing)

It’s Going Down, a self-described “digital community center from anarchist, anti-fascist, autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements,” recently published an open letter to regular liberals and progressives urging them to take the side of the Black Bloc.

Its Going Down made headlines in June for reportedly calling for violence against Trump supporters.

The article is titled, “An Open Letter to Liberals & Progressives from the Black Bloc.”

“It is time for liberals and progressives to lose their illusions about the anarchist movement and our tactics, because quite frankly, you have no one else willing to fight for you,” the article reads.

The post also brags about Antifa’s “confrontational” and “disruptive” tactics:

“Confrontational and disruptive social movements have been the only thing which have helped defeat some of Trump’s proposed policies, such as the Muslim Ban 1.0, and it is only mass disruptive action which has the only hope of putting a wrench in the gears of everything from the deportation machine to the drive to war,” the post reads.

It continues, “Furthermore, it was the intense resistance that anarchists and antifascists engaged in after the election, at the Inauguration, and against the far-Right which made it harder for the regime to roll out the totality of their agenda, for fear of full scale revolt.” (RELATED: In Their Own Words: Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Leaders Say They Want To Make America ‘Ungovernable’)

Antifa tactics were used on Inauguration Day in January, as well as at UC Berkeley in response to a planned speech from political provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

The article also directly mentions the violent anti-G20 riots in Hamburg, Germany, which police called/a> called “extremely violent.”

“Liberals and progressives: your world is on fire,” the article reads.

“The institutions, ‘checks and balances,’ and very government that you placed your faith in is decaying all around you, and at every turn the State seeks to roll back any assemblage of democratic oversight or accountability. The Democrats openly plan to move to the Right, as standards of living, the environment, and basic entitlements, rights, and freedoms are attacked. This isn’t a time for you to strengthen these institutions, it’s time for desertion.”

“It is time for liberals and progressives to lose their illusions about the anarchist movement and our tactics, because quite frankly, you have no one else willing to fight for you.”

The article ends by saying, “We know that we cannot separate fighting against domination and exploitation without the project of building a different world at the same time.”

“In the face of everything that the dominant system and the far-Right is throwing at us, we urge you: join us.”

Violence And Intimidation Against Republicans Are Becoming The New Normal

Reported by Photo of Peter Hasson Peter Hasson | Associate Editor | 9:59 PM 05/14/2017

In one of the most recent incidents, police in Tennessee charged a woman with felony reckless endangerment on Thursday for allegedly trying to run Republican Congressman David Kustoff off the road after a town hall. The woman, Wendi Wright, was reportedly enraged over Kustoff’s support for the American Health Care Act and screamed at the congressman and his aide, striking his car windows and reaching inside the vehicle.

https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fweakleycountysheriffdept%2Fposts%2F723680541137636&width=500

The same day that Tennessee police charged Wright for reckless endangerment, police in North Dakota escorted an enraged man from another town hall after he became physical with Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer over his support for the GOP Obamacare replacement. “Will the rich benefit from, if the health care is destroyed, do the rich get a tax break? Yes or no?” the man shouted, before shoving cash down the congressman’s collar. “There you go, take it.”

CNN’s Poppy Harlow downplayed the incident, saying the man was “showing his disgust” with Cramer.

The day before that, a Huffington Post article that showed “how to really turn up the heat on elected officials” went viral. The author, Michaelangelo Signorile, called on protesters to harass Republicans at dinner, when they’re out shopping and even at home. Societal norms for the basic levels of decency one should afford political opponents, Signorile argued, no longer apply to liberals.

“It’s time to move beyond polite protests within specified boundaries. It’s time to escalate the expression of our outrage and our anger in a massive way,” he wrote. (RELATED: In Their Own Words: Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Leaders Say They Want To Make America ‘Ungovernable’)

“Starting today and from here on, no elected official ― certainly those in the GOP defending and supporting Trump on a variety of issues, for example ― should be able to sit down for a nice, quiet lunch or dinner in a Washington, DC eatery or even in their own homes. They should be hounded by protestors everywhere, especially in public ― in restaurants, in shopping centers, in their districts, and yes, on the public property outside their homes and apartments, in Washington and back in their home states.”

Signorile’s article has already been shared more than 29,000 times.

Political violence has been increasingly common as left-wing organizations have whipped up mobs against Republicans and supporters of the president. (RELATED: Leaked Audio Reveals Anti-Trump Forces Manufacturing Hostile Town Hall)

A popular parade in Portland, Oregon last month was cancelled after threats of violence against one of the groups participating — a local Republican organization.

An email warning parade organizers promised 200 or more protesters would rush into the parade and drag the Republican marchers out, if that’s what it took to keep them from participating. “You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely,” the email warned. Portland has been a site for organized left-wing protests, which have often turned into violent riots. (RELATED: Leader Of Portland Anti-Trump Protests Charged With Sexually Abusing A Minor)

The threat was sent from an email address registered with RiseUp.Net, an organization that is open about “providing communication and computer resources to allies engaged in struggles against capitalism and other forms of oppression.”

The Oregon threat was credible in part because Berkeley, California has become a literal political battlefield on multiple occasions now, after far-left groups have resorted to violence to keep Pro-Trump speakers (or, in one case, free speech marchers who happened to be Trump supporters) from appearing in public.

Pro-Trump speaker Milo Yiannopoulos had his speech at the University of California-Berkeley cancelled after rioters set the campus ablaze in order to keep him from speaking. (RELATED: ‘INFERNO’ — Milo Speech Cancelled After Rioters Set Campus Ablaze [VIDEO])

Political commentator Ann Coulter, who staunchly supported Trump during his presidential campaign, had her speech at UC Berkeley cancelled after the protest groups vowed a repeat performance of the Milo riots. (RELATED: Documents Tie Berkeley Riot Organizers To Pro-Pedophilia Group NAMBLA)

A North Carolina GOP office was even firebombed a month before the election, and a building adjacent to it was spray painted with graffiti: “Nazi Republicans get out of town or else.”

Shortly before the election, a female high school student was attacked after declaring her support for Trump. A fellow female student took the girl’s glasses off and punched her in the face, saying, “Fuck you, you bitch.”

Olivia Corn, president of Cornell University’s College Republicans, said she was physically assaulted the night after Trump won the election. “Fuck you, racist bitch, you support a racist party,” her attacker reportedly said. Ironically, Corn said she was “not Donald Trump’s biggest fan,” and added that she “was saddened that I was not afforded the same respect that I offer others.”

A Maryland high school student wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat after the election was punched and kicked by students protesting Trump after he started arguing with them.

Similarly, police in Florida arrested a 17-year-old high school student after he punched a classmate for carrying a Trump sign at school.

“It definitely had a political motivation,” said Lt. Mike Bandish of the Palm Bay Police Department. “The boy was carrying a Trump sign and walked into the gym. The other boy punched him in the face.”

ACLU Launches Nationwide Training on Protest, Resistance

Published by The AP | Mar 11, 2017 | 7:01 PM EST

URL of the original posting site: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_ACLU_RESISTANCE_TRAINING?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-03-11-12-03-42

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — The American Civil Liberties Union staged a nationwide training event Saturday to make sure people are aware of their rights as protesters and urge organized, public resistance by those opposed to policies of President Donald Trump.

Organizers said the event at a sports arena on the University of Miami campus was livestreamed to locations in all 50 states. ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said 200,000 people had signed up to attend one of an estimated 2,000 local events. The event, staged in town hall style, was aimed at capitalizing on numerous demonstrations since Trump’s election in November and to make sure people know their rights to protest, Romero said. He said priority issues are immigration, the First Amendment free speech and religious freedom rights, civil and reproductive rights and rights of gay, lesbian and transgender people.

“We will bring all the lawsuits necessary to defend these rights,” Romero said. “We’ll do the work in the courts. You do the work in the streets. People are motivated. They want to be engaged.”

The ACLU also launched a new grassroots online organizing platform called PeoplePower.org. It’s billed as a way for people considering a local protest or rally to connect and coordinate with others around the country with similar intentions, and to provide details of ACLU initiatives.

Another plan is creation of “freedom cities” around the country that would encourage local officials to pass laws resisting Trump policies such as stepped-up deportations of people living in the country illegally, said Faiz Shakir, ACLU national political director.

Other parts of Saturday’s event detailed the rules for demonstrations on streets, sidewalks and in public parks, and the rights people have when arrested such as the right to remain silent. ACLU attorney Lee Rowland said large demonstrations generally require a local permit, but government can’t typically shut down protesters in public places without good reason.

“The government can’t censor you just because it disagrees with your opinion,” Rowland said.

Also speaking at the event was Padma Lakshmi, an Indian-born cookbook author, actress, model and television host. She said she emigrated to the U.S. at age four and said the nation appears to be retreating from its welcoming ways. “Lately I’ve started to feel like an outsider,” she said. “What makes America great is our culture of inclusion. We must not tolerate the intolerance.”

The Constitutional “Shall Not’s” of Congress

waving flagWritten by Bethany Blankley

shall notVigilance-2

Universal human rights are determined by government restraint. In what areas of human life should the government not be involved? What areas of life must the government not regulate, not restrain, not limit, not oversee, not implement, not subsidize, not legalize or make illegal? Interestingly, the first five words of the Bill of Rights state what Congress cannot do: “Congress shall make no law… .” Even more telling– the first ten amendments, with perhaps The Sixth as the exception, all define what the government cannot do:

  • First: “Shall make no law … prohibiting … abridging,
  • Second: “Shall not be infringed”
  • Third: “No soldier shall … without the consent …”
  • Fourth: “Shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue …”
  • Fifth: “No person shall be held … nor shall any person be subject …”
  • Seventh: “Shall be preserved … No fact … shall be otherwise reexamined …”
  • Eighth: “Shall not be required … Nor excessive … imposed, nor … punishments inflicted”
  • Ninth: “shall not be construed to deny or disparage”
  • Tenth: “Not delegated … nor prohibited.”

The third, fifth, eighth, and tenth amendments don’t state “rights;” they state what authority the government does not have. In effect, limits on government are universal human rights. The Constitution outlines specific areas of human life that are off-limits to government. This suggests that there are certain aspects of human life which are fundamentally free.tie it down

The Constitution did not outline rights or prohibitions defined by a government that could later redefine them. It outlined rules to be followed by a self-ruling people in addition to separating and balancing political authority among judiciary, legislative, and executive branches.

Despite the limits the Founders enumerated in the Constitution, their limits are still limited in their ability to constrain government overreach. Matters of conscience, especially as they relate to the First Amendment, dictate certain situations when citizens decide to not follow and/or disobey unjust laws. Interestingly, dissent in the form of collective actions of conscience (refusing to pay taxes, boycotting specific products, and armed resistance) among approximately one third of American colonists who fought for independence.Tree of Liberty 03

The Constitution was the result of a point in time that the Founding Fathers and Framers identified of a line they could not cross. They could not comply in good conscience– it would be immoral to comply– with the laws of a corrupt and tyrannical government. Christians joined them, citing New Testament directives, identifying that they also must only “obey God rather than men.”christianity

They recognized they could not selectively disobey certain laws because the government itself could not be obeyed. They needed a new government. Rebellion and resistance were required because the ruling authorities had rebelled against God. The government had not only violated basic principles of justice but also had squandered God-given human rights, rendering itself illegitimate.

Thomas Jefferson asserted:

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long Established, should not be changed for light and transient causes; and, Accordingly, all experience [has] shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

“But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations,  pursuing invariably the same object, evidences a design to reduce [the people] under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

Jefferson also said, “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”

The Shall Nots were imperative to the Founders– they wanted to ensure that if Congress violated them the people had just cause to rebel.
