For years, the Obama administration has been making it abundantly clear that it is a friend of illegal immigrants. Border security is a joke, the federal government refuses to go after “sanctuary cities” even though they are breaking federal law, there is a website that instructs immigrants how to sign up for welfare programs once they arrive in the United States, and the Obama administration has distributed flyers that tell illegal immigrants that their immigration status will not be checked when they apply for food stamps. And Obama has even instructed officials to use “prosecutorial discretion” in deportation cases involving non-criminals. In other words, Obama has been flashing a huge green light to illegal immigrants, and so of course our borders were going to be inundated with them.

Always remember that and let your Liberal meathead adversaries that fact.” JB

Apologists for the Obama administration will debate you all day about what Obama “intended” and what he didn’t “intend”, but there is no doubt about what message immigrants from Central America have been receiving.

For example, one young mother recently told the press that she heard that if you “go to America with your child, you won’t be turned away“.

And you can view video of a little boy from Central America telling an investigate reporter that he believes that Barack Obama has “given permission” for him to live in the United States right here.

It isn’t an accident that our southern border is literally being flooded with illegal immigrants right now. Newspapers in El Salvador and Honduras have been publicizing how easy illegal immigration has become, and even the President of Honduras has said that people are coming to the United States for “Obama’s amnesty”.

When they arrive, thousands upon thousands of these illegal immigrants are using rehearsed answers that border patrol agents are hearing over and over again. Word has spread that if illegal immigrants claim that they are “fleeing gang violence” that it is more likely that they will be allowed to stay.

What we are witnessing down on the southern border is really unprecedented. It has been estimated that twelve times as many kids are crossing our borders illegally now compared to just a few years ago.

And they just keep on coming.

This is utter madness.

Now, please don’t think that I am anti-immigrant. I am all for legal immigration. This is a nation of immigrants and we will always need immigration. But everyone should be required to come in through the front door. Encouraging illegal immigration is simply a recipe for disaster.

If we keep the back door wide open, the truth is that we have absolutely no idea who is coming into our country. Do we really want countless numbers of criminals, welfare parasites, drug dealers and gang members pouring into our cities? According to the FBI, there are now approximately 1.4 million gang members living in the United States, and it has been estimated that illegal immigrants make up approximately 30 percent of the total population in federal, state and local prisons.

And why in the world would we not want to control the diseases coming into this country? Over the past several weeks, it has been documented that some of the illegal immigrants that have been apprehended have scabies and tuberculosis.

But instead of sending them right back out of the country, U.S. officials are setting up camps for this tsunami of illegal immigrants. In other cases, the federal government is simply putting them on buses and planes and shipping them all over the country. The illegal immigrants are released into their new communities and are given papers which order them to eventually appear in court, but of course the vast majority of them never show up. The rational thing to do would be to secure our borders and to send a very clear message that illegal immigration is not welcome in the United States.

But instead of doing that, the Obama administration is actually bringing in a riot squad to deal with anti-immigration protesters.

During normal times all of this would be crazy enough, but right now we are at a point where we cannot even take care of millions upon millions of our own citizens.

The Obama Administration, following the word-for-word outline of Cloward-Piven is systematically destroying the American economy so they can deliberately impose Socialism economy ideologies on the United States. At that point we will no longer be a free people. Tyranny will be the rule and law. Now can I get a “AMEN”? JB

We are told that illegal immigrants do the jobs “that Americans don’t want to do”, but is that really accurate?

In this day and age, there is intense competition for just about any kind of a job. Despite what the mainstream media says, the truth is that there hasn’t been a significant employment recovery in the United States. As you can see from the chart posted below, the percentage of the working age population that is actually working is still far, far below where it was just prior to the last recession…

Yes, there has been a very slight bump in the numbers in recent months, but it is certainly no reason for celebration. When the mainstream media declares that unemployment in America has been steadily going down, they are simply being disingenuous. Right now things are only slightly better than they were during the worst times of the past several years.

And according to shadowstats.com, the broadest measure of unemployment is still well over 20 percent and has been steadily rising since the end of the last recession.

So no, there aren’t nearly enough jobs in the United States. (CLOWARD-PIVEN IDEOLOGY)

And thanks to competition from immigrant labor and thanks to the fact that millions of good jobs have been shipped overseas, the quality of our jobs continues to decline as well. For much more on that trend, please see this article.

Needless to say, now is not the time to open up the floodgates to millions of immigrants that will need jobs to support themselves. Many of our major cities are already so economically depressed that they look like war zones. In fact, things have gotten so bad in Detroit that a plan is being considered to bulldoze a fifth of the entire city…

In May, a group ominously titled the “Detroit Blight Removal Task Force” released a report claiming that around 22 percent of the city’s properties were “blighted” – vacant, damaged or considered dangerous. They also found that, of the 84,000 properties owned by public entities, just over 5,000 were occupied by squatters, making the city of Detroit, the report’s authors noted, “a very large and inadvertent landlord”.

The task force’s proposed solution is to demolish it all over the next five years and start again. Unfortunately, the plan doesn’t extend to rebuilding the properties – it’ll be down to private companies and developers to buy up the land and rebuild.

Considering the fact that we are already having such a severe problem taking care of our current population, what do you think is going to happen to these waves of illegal immigrants as they attempt to settle in to communities all around the nation?

Ultimately, we are going to have to end up financially supporting a very large percentage of them too.

Right now, more than 20 percent of children in this country are already living in poverty, and 49 million Americans are dealing with food insecurity.

If Obama continues to encourage mass illegal immigration, those numbers are going to get much worse.

Government dependence is already at an all-time record high, and about half the country currently receives benefits of some sort from the federal government every month.

How much more weight can we put on the “safety net” before it breaks? Just check out some more numbers about this crisis from one of my previous articles…

Ten years ago, the number of women in the U.S. that had jobs outnumbered the number of women in the U.S. on food stamps by more than a 2 to 1 margin. But now the number of women in the U.S. on food stamps actually exceeds the number of women that have jobs.
The U.S. government has spent an astounding 3.7 trillion dollars on welfare programs over the past five years.
Today, the federal government runs about 80 different “means-tested welfare programs”, and almost all of those programs have experienced substantial growth in recent years.
Back in 1960, the ratio of social welfare benefits to salaries and wages was approximately 10 percent. In the year 2000, the ratio of social welfare benefits to salaries and wages was approximately 21 percent. Today, the ratio of social welfare benefits to salaries and wages is approximately 35 percent.
While Barack Obama has been in the White House, the total number of Americans on food stamps has gone from 32 million to nearly 47 million.
Back in the 1970s, about one out of every 50 Americans was on food stamps. Today, about one out of every 6.5 Americans is on food stamps.
It sounds crazy, but the number of Americans on food stamps now exceeds the entire population of the nation of Spain.
According to one calculation, the number of Americans on food stamps is now greater than the combined populations of “Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.”
According to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, 43 percent of all immigrants that have been in the United States for at least 20 years are still on welfare.

A lot of people that are trying to immigrate here illegally just want to make a better life for themselves, and I can appreciate that.

But a policy of making it incredibly difficult for honest people to come in through the front door while keeping the back door completely wide open for lawbreakers is a recipe for national suicide.

And right now we don’t have jobs for these immigrants.

We can’t even take care of the people that are already living here.

Something desperately needs to be done about this, but I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for Obama to make a bold move to stop illegal immigrants from pouring over the border.

Rick Perry Refuses Obama’s Offer For A Tarmac Handshake

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) won’t be on hand to greet President Barack Obama when Air Force One lands in Austin on Wednesday.

The governor’s office says the White House extended an invitation to Perry to meet Obama on the tarmac when he arrives for Democratic fundraisers in Dallas and Austin. However, Perry refused the offer, asking instead to meet with Obama in private to discuss the high number of unaccompanied children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border in recent months.

“I appreciate the offer to greet you at Austin-Bergstrom Airport, but a quick handshake on the tarmac will not allow for a thoughtful discussion regarding the humanitarian and national security crises enveloping the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas,” Perry wrote Monday in a letter to the president. “I would instead offer to meet with you at any time during your visit to Texas for a substantive meeting to discuss this critical issue.”

The Texas governor has been a vocal critic of the president’s handling of the situation at the border, repeatedly suggesting that the administration is “in on this somehow.”

“I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept, or you have some ulterior motive of which you are functioning from,” Perry said during a Sunday appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”

Perry, who greeted the president at the airport last year without much fanfare, previously used a tarmac photo-op to attempt to get a message to Obama. In 2010, he handed a letter detailing his concerns about border security to Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.

“Look, he’s got the letter. I suspect he’ll read it. I hope he responds to it,” Perry said after the brief encounter.

Does UN Arms Trade Treaty Threaten the Second Amendment?

At a meeting to discuss gun control held at the United Nations on June 25, representatives of the global anti-gun lobby were discouraged by the U.S. Senate’s failure to ratify the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).

“Unfortunately, the United States, the world’s largest arms exporter, has signed but not ratified the treaty,” said Dr. Natalie J. Goldring, a senior fellow with the Security Studies Programme in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Goldring went on to lament that the U.S. Senate doesn’t seem disposed to act on approving the treaty and likely won’t “for many years.”

“You’re correct Ms. Goldring. Keep your commie hands off our guns, and your nose out of our business. GET OUT!” JB

For now, it seems Goldring’s gauge of the political climate in the Senate is accurate. In a letter sent to President Barack Obama last October, 50 senators laid out six reasons the president should refuse to present the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to the Senate for ratification. Among the objections is the grant to “foreign sources of authority” the power to “impose judgment or control on the U.S.”

“You read that correctly. This treaty relinquishes our sovereignty to a panel of “who-knows-who”, made up of people who hate, or are jealous of America. They get to pass judgment and impose punishment on “offending” Americans. THAT’S NUTS!” JB

At the conference, held to discuss the Programme of Action (PoA) to Prevent, Combat, and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons, Goldring told lobbyists representing both sides of the issue that the National Rifle Association (NRA) and other pro-Second Amendment organizations in the United States have spread lies regarding the potential effect of the Arms Trade Treaty on the right to keep and bear arms.

“The simple truth is the ATT does not affect the domestic trade in weapons in the United States. It’s a treaty about international arms transfers, not sales within the United States,” she added.

Trade Treaty can be found here. Beyond that, here are a few provisions of the treaty that would, despite Goldring’s assurances, directly and immediately impact the full expression of the right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

• Article 2 of the treaty defines the scope of the treaty’s prohibitions. The right to own, buy, sell, trade, or transfer all means of armed resistance, including handguns, is denied to civilians by this section of the Arms Trade Treaty.

• Article 3 places the “ammunition/munitions fired, launched or delivered by the conventional arms covered under Article 2” within the scope of the treaty’s prohibitions, as well.

• Article 4 rounds out the regulations, also placing all “parts and components” of weapons within the scheme.

• Perhaps the most immediate threat to the rights of gun owners in the Arms Trade Treaty is found in Article 5. Under the title of “General Implementation,” Article 5 mandates that all countries participating in the treaty “shall establish and maintain a national control system, including a national control list.” This list should “apply the provisions of this Treaty to the broadest range of conventional arms.”

Goldring thinks such steps are but the first in a path that leads to “better control” of the trade of weapons. There is little doubt who would be left in control of firearms if Goldring gets her way. The United Nations, acting through domestic enforcers, would require registration of weapons, which Americans recognize as the first step toward their control and outright confiscation.

“Disarm America and invasion is easier. History is full of statements of tyrants saying the number one reason for not considering invading America is that so many of our citizens own guns and know how to use them.’

“Just in case you need another reminder; According to Jefferson himself, the number one reason for the Second Amendment is to deter “would be tyrants.” That is THE reason the Leftist/Marxist/Socialist Democrats want to disarm America. A citizenry that can’t fight back is easy to control and conquer. History is loaded with such examples. Tyranny is stopped, or slowed down when patriotic citizens are ready to lay down their lives for freedom. That requires an armed citizenry.” JB

The right to keep and bear arms was known to our Founders as he ultimate check on the rise of tyrants. Americans jealous of this God-given right know that now is the time to reject the UN’s attempts to repeal the Second Amendment and that organization is the key to safeguarding their gun rights.

God Bless America — the Nation AND the Film!

We saw Dinesh D’ Souza’s America on the Fourth of July. It was a tremendous movie. It made us proud to be Americans. It made us cry for the sacrifices of brave Americans and for the trend to blame America for all of man’s evils. It made us angry at what is happening. Sadly, there was probably only one person in the theater that was under fifty years old. I’m afraid that D’ Souza may be preaching to the choir, just as with the 2016 movie, for if young people had seen 2016, Obama’s America, then they would necessarily be either subversives or idiots to have re-elected this poser, Muslim jihadist at war with America.

And that is exactly the point of the new movie. He documents a subversive movement that has besieged America since long before the sixties

radicals have come to prominence. These radicals have conspired to shame Americans into believing that our country is an evil, imperialist nation guilty of oppression. Their objective is to “remake” America into a communist country. Their plan started with destroying our understanding of what America is and has been. D’ Souza is not afraid to name names. (Why not, he’s already being prosecuted for “excessive” campaign donations.) Among the conspirators listed are Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers and Howard Zinn. The connections that these radicals have to Obama and Hillary are well documented.

Zinn is best known for his history textbook, A People’s History of the United States, first published in 1980. The book is widely used in many high schools and colleges. The term “People’s” (as in “People’s Republic…”, etc.) ought to be your first clue about the perspective of the book. Zinn was not ashamed to call himself a Marxist.
As Dinesh documents, the book utilizes half truths and distortion to demonize America. It offers a one-sided perspective, highlighting examples of American oppression such as slavery, the “stealing” of Native American lands and the conquest of Mexico. While not making excuses for these American sins, America provides a balance that Zinn purposely omits.

America is not unique in these sins. In fact, America points out that conquest, as a human means of attaining wealth, is the rule of human history rather than the exception. Remember, that we are all fallen creatures capable of great evil. What is uniquely American is the idea that wealth can be created from individual initiative and free enterprise. America points out that it is capitalism, not communism that has liberated millions of people from poverty.

The movie begs the question, “What if there was no America?” On balance, America has been a blessing to the world. America’s sins do not compare to the oppression of Hitler and Stalin. American boys died to free the world of these evil men.

The movie reminds us that slavery was not an American invention, but common to human history. Africans enslaved each other long before America was ever founded. It is the American principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, with roots in the Christian faith that led us to fight a war to end slavery where millions of white men died to free the slaves.

The war with Mexico was fought over dictatorial oppression of Texans. D’ Souza makes the point that, though the U.S. conquered all of Mexico, we returned half of it and that the part we kept was mostly uninhabited. He reminds us that native Mexicans in America are not climbing the fence to go back to Mexico and that the people of Mexico today would probably be better off if we had kept the land.

Furthermore, the movie relates the whole story about Native Americans. True to form, conquest was a way of life for most Native Americans who had conquered different tribes for centuries before Americans ever stepped on their land.

What was upsetting in seeing this movie is the reminder that the sixties radicals have captured our government and are well along their way to destroying it. And they have accomplished their goals by indoctrinating generations of Americans with their anti-American distortions and in the process alienating many against the principles of freedom that made this a great nation.

They’ve done it through our schools. I have railed on these pages about the dangers of the indoctrination that is occurring in our government controlled schools. The radicals, not George Washington, control our schools. Common Core is simply the latest form of control, but the process has been going on for decades. Too many conservatives are focusing all of their energy on Common Core while ignoring the elephant in the room.

Parents need to wake up.

Texas Rangers Dispatched to Secure Border Amid Stolen Mexican Nuke Threat

For the third time in less than a year Mexican officials report that security surrounding the storage and transportation of nuclear material in the troubled state has been compromised. According to civil defense officials a vehicle carrying a lethal dose of radioactive Iridium-192 was hijacked by unknown thieves.

The Mexican government warned Friday that a vehicle containing radioactive material has been stolen, and issued a dire warning to the thieves against taking the potentially deadly material from its protective container.

The substance “can be dangerous for human health if removed from its container,” the officials said in a statement, adding that the material can be lethal even if handled for only a brief time.

The theft in Mexico state prompted officials to issue an alert throughout the capital region and in neighboring states.

Last year a truck carrying deadly Cobalt-60 was stolen and in June armed gunmen raided a research facility near Mexico City making off with a device containing Cesium-137.

The thefts, although not officially spoken about in Washington, have prompted fears from concerned Americans that smugglers or terror organizations may be attempting to produce a “dirty” bomb that could be used in populated U.S. cities. Though such an improvised device would not cause a typical nuclear reaction, it could still spread highly radioactive material for miles and cause untold damage if it were detonated in a highly trafficked area.

A 2010 special report highlighted a “major terror threat” surrounding Other Than Mexican migrants making their way into the United States via the porous southern border. According to the report, border patrol agents routinely catch and detain individuals from Afghanistan, Iran, Jordan and other mid-east countries that have a strong extremist presence.

Though tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have been flooding the border for several months and overwhelming border patrol personnel,

many politicians claim that there exists no security threat. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee of Houston reportedly handed out lollipops to migrant children being detained at internment camps. “This is not a national security crisis,” Lee told reporters, claiming she visited emergency detention camps without a firearm and did not fear for her life.

The camps, according to reports, are being managed by armed security teams calling themselves ‘brown shirts.’

In Texas, where the federal government has pulled back federal law enforcement and border security personnel, Governor Rick Perry has been left with no other choice but to deploy Texas lawmen to help stem the tide of incoming migrants.

The state is spending upwards of one million dollars per day to man the border every few hundred yards at the more popular crossing areas.

The legendary Texas Rangers have been sent to assist with securing the southern border along with other Texas Department of Public Safety law enforcement officials.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has admitted it is spending millions to transfer Texas Rangers and state troopers to the border for “saturation patrols,” confirming what Infowars encountered on the state’s southern border.

Last week, we encountered a state trooper every few hundred yards for several miles east of Pharr, Texas on Highway 281 which hugs the Mexican border.

Yet the state and local police patrolling the region heavily outnumber the Border Patrol agents Infowars observed in and around a 50 mile stretch of highway between Pharr and the border city of Brownsville, Texas, even though kidnappings and other violent crimes in the area have increased exponentially due to illegal immigration.

Infowars finally found an abundance of Border Patrol vehicles, but they were sitting in the parking lot of a government facility.

“We are simply being ordered to stand down and stop tracking and trying to apprehend the criminals,” Shawn Moran, Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council, told Breitbart back in October.

He added that Border Patrol agents “in every single sector from San Diego to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas” were receiving these orders.

While Americans are being routinely monitored and flagged as extremists who are a danger to society, the entire southern border has been left completely unsecured.

The Federal government, while stockpiling billions of rounds of ammunition, deploying thousands of armored vehicles around the country and heavily militarizing law enforcement agencies, has refused to utilize these taxpayer funded assets to protect the United States from the very real chance that diseases, violent criminal gangs, and now even nuclear devices could cause more damage than any ‘domestic person of interest’ ever could.

20 Doctors On 24/7 for Alien Kids at Ventura Naval Base

Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme in California is one of three military bases reportedly housing unaccompanied illegal alien children in response to the influx that have crossed the U.S. southern border in recent months. The Ventura base now has over 20 physicians providing round the clock health coverage for children between the approximate ages of 13 and 17 housed there, according to the Ventura County website.

Between the Ventura base, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas and Fort Sill, Oklahoma, approximately 2,300 children are being housed according to a June 24 Military Times article quoting Defense Department spokesman Air Force Lt. Col. Thomas Crosson. U.S. Rep Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) was denied access to the Fort Sill facility on July 2. Meanwhile, some members of Congress visited the Ventura base on June 12, and the San Antonio-Lackland base has suddenly granted access to Congress for a visit Tuesday.

Congressman Bridenstine released an email he sent to HHS Deputy Director of the Office of Public Affairs, Ken Wolfe, that stated, “As a Navy pilot, I have been involved in operations countering illicit human trafficking. I would like to know to whom these children are being released.”

Ventura County’s website states that 70 of the 210 children in their facility have been released to either U.S. sponsors or family until their appointed immigration court hearings. The site suggests that community members desiring to make donations for the children make their contributions to Southwest Key due to staffing and security issues that are said to make donating directly to the base difficult.

In a Powerpoint presentation proposal to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors regarding the illegal alien minors, the Ventura County Health Care Agency (VCHCA) and Human Services Agency reported on the county’s participation in the emergency situation, according to a letter from two of the Board members. According to the Southwest Key website, “Southwest Key’s system of shelters for unaccompanied immigrant minors are funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in the Administration of Children and Families under the Department of Health and Human Services.”

In June, public outrage squelched a permit proposal for a Southwest Key illegal alien detention facility to be established in Escondido, California. An estimated 500 people showed up to address the proposal, most to oppose it, including Escondido Mayor Sam Abed and a staff member from U.S. Rep Duncan Hunter (R-CA) office there on his behalf.

Congressman Hunter posted a letter online, which was addressed to Mayor Abed and requested denial of the Health and Human Services permit application, listing annual costs of running the facility at $6-7 million and stating, “The solution must involve changes to the [Obama] Administration’s underlying immigration policies and a commitment to return the children to their homes as soon as possible.”

$457,947,289 in taxpayer money has been awarded in HHS government grants to Southwest Key, mostly for programs and services dedicated to unaccompanied alien children according to amounts tracked through TAGGS.

Southwest Key’s site currently lists “immediate hiring in Ventura, CA.” All job openings posted are listed as temporary. The following are names and numbers of positions posted: Youth Care Workers (275), Youth Care Workers–Transportation (60), Case Aides (75), Case Managers (25), Clinicians (16), Housekeeping/Laundry Workers (4), Human Resources Generalist (1), AP Clerk (1).

While the Ventura facility currently lists jobs as temporary, the Southwest Key lease connected to HHS in Escondido was for a five-year period with an option to extend to fifteen years. There is no assurance that plans in Ventura would remain temporary and not involve securing a more permanent facility to operate out of.

The entire listing of Southwest Key programs currently reports multiple locations in each of six states across the country, including: Wisconsin, New York, Georgia, Texas, Arizona and California. Listings for the specific Unaccompanied Minors Shelter Program include: in Texas–Canutillo, Clint, Conroe, El Paso, Glendale, Houston (2 listings) and San Antonio; in California–El Cajon, Lemon Grove and Pleasant Hill; and in Arizona–Phoenix.

China thinks it can defeat America in battle

The bad news first. The People’s Republic of China now believes it can successfully prevent the United States from intervening in the event of a

Chinese invasion of Taiwan or some other military assault by Beijing.

Now the good news. China is wrong — and for one major reason. It apparently disregards the decisive power of America’s nuclear-powered submarines.

Moreover, for economic and demographic reasons Beijing has a narrow historical window in which to use its military to alter the world’s power structure. If China doesn’t make a major military move in the next couple decades, it probably never will.

The U.S. Navy’s submarines — the unsung main defenders of the current world order — must hold the line against China for another 20 years. After that, America can declare a sort of quiet victory in the increasingly chilly Cold War with China.

How China wins

The bad news came from Lee Fuell, from the U.S. Air Force’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center, during Fuell’s testimony before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 30.

For years, Chinese military planning assumed that any attack by the People’s Liberation Army on Taiwan or a disputed island would have to begin with a Pearl Harbor-style preemptive missile strike by China against U.S. forces in Japan and Guam. The PLA was so afraid of overwhelming American intervention that it genuinely believed it could not win unless the Americans were removed from the battlefield before the main campaign even began.

A preemptive strike was, needless to say, a highly risky proposition. If it worked, the PLA just might secure enough space and time to defeat defending troops, seize territory, and position itself for a favorable post-war settlement.

But if China failed to disable American forces with a surprise attack, Beijing could find itself fighting a full-scale war on at least two fronts: against the country it was invading plus the full might of U.S. Pacific Command, fully mobilized and probably strongly backed by the rest of the world.

That was then. But after two decades of sustained military modernization, the Chinese military has fundamentally changed its strategy in just the last year or so. According to Fuell, recent writings by PLA officers indicate “a growing confidence within the PLA that they can more-readily withstand U.S. involvement.”

The preemptive strike is off the table — and with it, the risk of a full-scale American counterattack. Instead, Beijing believes it can attack Taiwan or another neighbor while also bloodlessly deterring U.S. intervention. It would do so by deploying such overwhelmingly strong military forces — ballistic missiles, aircraft carriers, jet fighters, and the like — that Washington dare not get involved.

The knock-on effects of deterring America could be world-changing. “Backing away from our commitments to protect Taiwan, Japan, or the Philippines would be tantamount to ceding East Asia to China’s domination,” Roger Cliff, a fellow at the Atlantic Council, said at the same U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission hearing on Jan. 30.

Worse, the world’s liberal economic order — and indeed, the whole notion of democracy — could suffer irreparable harm. “The United States has both a moral and a material interest in a world in which democratic nations can survive and thrive,” Cliff asserted.

Fortunately for that liberal order, America possesses by far the world’s most powerful submarine force — one poised to quickly sink any Chinese invasion fleet. In announcing its readiness to hold off the U.S. military, the PLA seems to have ignored Washington’s huge undersea advantage.

The Silent Service

It’s not surprising that Beijing would overlook America’s subs. Most Americans overlook their own undersea fleet — and that’s not entirely their own fault. The U.S. sub force takes pains to avoid media coverage in order to maximize its secrecy and stealth. “The submarine cruises the world’s oceans unseen,” the Navy stated on its Website.

Unseen and unheard. That why the sub force calls itself the “Silent Service.”

The Navy has 74 submarines, 60 of which are attack or missile submarines optimized for finding and sinking other ships or blasting land targets. The balance is ballistic-missile boats that carry nuclear missiles and would not routinely participate in military campaigns short of an atomic World War III.

Thirty-three of the attack and missile boats belong to the Pacific Fleet, with major bases in Washington State, California, Hawaii, and Guam. Deploying for six months or so roughly every year and a half, America’s Pacific subs frequently stop over in Japan and South Korea and occasionally even venture under the Arctic ice.

According to Adm. Cecil Haney, the former commander of Pacific Fleet subs, on any given day 17 boats are underway and eight are “forward-deployed,” meaning they are on station in a potential combat zone. To the Pacific Fleet, that pretty much means waters near China.

America has several submarine types. The numerous Los Angeles-class attack boats are Cold War stalwarts that are steadily being replaced by newer Virginia-class boats with improved stealth and sensors. The secretive Seawolfs, numbering just three — all of them in the Pacific — are big, fast, and more heavily armed than other subs. The Ohio-class missile submarines are former ballistic missile boats each packing 154 cruise missile.

U.S. subs are, on average, bigger, faster, quieter, and more powerful than the rest of the world’s subs. And there are more of them. The U.K. is building just seven new Astute attack boats. Russia aims to maintain around 12 modern attack subs. China is struggling to deploy a handful of rudimentary nuclear boats.

Able to lurk silently under the waves and strike suddenly with torpedoes and missiles, submarines have tactical and strategic effect greatly disproportionate to their relatively small numbers. During the 1982 Falklands War, the British sub Conqueror torpedoed and sank the Argentine cruiser General Belgrano, killing 323 men. The sinking kept the rest of the Argentine fleet bottled up for the duration of the conflict.

America’s eight-at-a-time submarine picket in or near Chinese waters could be equally destructive to Chinese military plans, especially considering the PLA’s limited anti-submarine skills. “Although China might control the surface of the sea around Taiwan, its ability to find and sink U.S. submarines will be extremely limited for the foreseeable future,” Cliff testified. “Those submarines would likely be able to intercept and sink Chinese amphibious transports as they transited toward Taiwan.”

So it almost doesn’t matter that a modernized PLA thinks it possesses the means to fight America above the waves, on land, and in the air. If it can’t safely sail an invasion fleet as part of its territorial ambitions, it can’t achieve its strategic goals — capturing Taiwan and or some island also claimed by a neighboring country — through overtly military means.

That reality should inform Washington’s own strategy. As the United States has already largely achieved the world order it struggled for over the last century, it need only preserve and defend this order. In other words, America has the strategic high ground against China, as the latter must attack and alter the world in order to get what it wants.

In practical military terms, that means the Pentagon can more or less ignore most of China’s military capabilities, including those that appear to threaten traditional U.S. advantages in nukes, air warfare, mechanized ground operations, and surface naval maneuvers.

“We won’t invade China, so ground forces don’t play,” pointed out Wayne Hughes, a professor at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. “We won’t conduct a first nuclear strike. We should not adopt an air-sea strike plan against the mainland, because that is a sure way to start World War IV.”

Rather, America must deny the Chinese free access to their near waters. “We need only enough access to threaten a war at sea,” Hughes said. In his view, a fleet optimized for countering China would have large numbers of small surface ships for enforcing a trade blockade. But the main combatants would be submarines, “to threaten destruction of all Chinese warships and commercial vessels in the China Seas.”

Cliff estimated that in wartime, each American submarine would be able to get off “a few torpedo shots” before needing to “withdraw for self-preservation.” But assuming eight subs each fire three torpedoes, and just half those torpedoes hit, the American attack boats could destroy all of China’s major amphibious ships — and with them, Beijing’s capacity for invading Taiwan or seizing a disputed island.

Waiting out the Chinese decline

If American subs can hold the line for another 20 years, China might age right out of its current, aggressive posture without ever having attacked anyone. That’s because economic and demographic trends in China point towards a rapidly aging population, flattening economic growth, and fewer resources available for military modernization.

To be fair, almost all developed countries are also experiencing this aging, slowing and increasing peacefulness. But China’s trends are pronounced owing to a particularly steep drop in the birth rate traceable back to the Chinese Communist Party’s one-child policy.

Another factor is the unusual speed with which the Chinese economy has expanded to its true potential, thanks to the focused investment made possible by an authoritarian government… and also thanks to that government’s utter disregard for the natural environment and for the rights of everyday Chinese people.

“The economic model that propelled China through three decades of meteoric growth appears unsustainable,” Andrew Erickson, a Naval War College analyst, told the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

What Erickson described as China’s “pent-up national potential” could begin expiring as early as 2030, by which point “China will have world’s highest proportion of people over 65,” he predicted. “An aging society with rising expectations, burdened with rates of chronic diseases exacerbated by sedentary lifestyles, will probably divert spending from both military development and the economic growth that sustains it.”

Wisely, American political and military leaders have made the investments necessary to sustain U.S. undersea power for at least that long. After a worrying dip in submarine production, starting in 2012 the Pentagon asked for — and Congress funded — the acquisition of two Virginia-class submarines per year for around $2.5 billion apiece, a purchase rate adequate to maintain the world’s biggest nuclear submarine fleet indefinitely.

The Pentagon is also improving the Virginia design, adding undersea-launched drones, extra missile capacity, and potentially a new anti-ship missile.

Given China’s place in the world, its underlying national trends and America’s pointed advantage in just that aspect of military power that’s especially damaging to Chinese plans, it seems optimistic for PLA officers to assume they can launch an attack on China’s neighbors without first knocking out U.S. forces.

Not that a preemptive strike would make any difference, as the only American forces that truly matter for containing China are the very ones that China cannot reach.

Hello, Church! America’s Fate Is in Your Hands

pulling rope Two Sundays past, my church participated in “Call2Fall” — Family Research Council’s annual event which encourages Christian assemblies across America to devote five minutes on their knees in corporate prayer for their land. We directed fully half of our service to that end — and a bracing period of repentance for the United States’ manifold sins and intercession for her restoration resulted.

At some point during our exercise, it once again occurred to me — something considered axiomatic to millions of God-revering, church-going Americans of another time but too frequently shunned in our spiritually lazy, secularly correct, separation-of-church-and-state age: the fate of this nation turns chiefly upon what happens within her churches.

Jesus dubbed His people “salt and light” — the preservational force, the illuminating guide of human society. He said that; not power-hungry ecclesiastics, not rabid members of the oft-dreaded “religious right” — the Son of God uncorked that commission.

Heavy stuff.

Call2Fall is a fine idea, but barely scratches the surface of the church’s assignment. And by my lights, an awful lot regarding this Republic’s future, in ways portentous indeed, hinges on the degree to which God’s “house” — what the apostle also calls “the pillar and ground of truth” (1 Tim 3:15) — discharges her heaven-endowed, terrestrially fulfilled responsibility. Yes, God is sovereign. Ultimately only His Spirit can accomplish anything of eternal value. But, inscrutably, the Scriptures make clear He’s chosen to operate meaningfully through His children. Recall, “Christ in you [is] the hope of glory” (Col 1:27).

As Bible teacher Derek Prince poetically put it: “Bend the church, bow the world”. The ekklesia of believers Jesus came to raise up has a duty to guarantee the nations yield to His ways and wisdom.

Certainly, Christ’s followers ought to count their prime “citizenship…in heaven” (Phil 3:20). Yet, there remains an obligation to the spiritual and temporal well-being of wherever it is we call our earthly home. While they dwelt in fearsome Babylon, exiled and harassed Israel was enjoined to seek the good of that city (Jer 29:7). Paul charged Pastor Timothy to pray “for all men … and all who are in authority” (1:Tim 2:1-4). The first, archetypal man was created to ” fill the earth and subdue it” (Gen 1:28**).

Biblically speaking, and contrary to the colossally wrong-headed but regrettably popular aphorism, to be “heavenly minded” really is to be the most “earthly good”.

This “stewardship” is gravely entrusted to the residents of God’s Kingdom: to serve, uphold in righteousness, care for the world, and specifically, the nation in which they find themselves. In case I’m being too nuanced: for the “American” disciple of Jesus that means he/she carries a duty to see His incomparable will accomplished in every sliver of American life. It’s a sacred fealty, to be prosecuted consistently, over a lifetime, in the most practicable ways here on red-white-and-blue terra firma.

They’ll be ways so unsparingly practicable as, at times, to seem nearly mundane; but they’re anything but that:

Disciplining yourself to pray, pray, pray. Either God saves this Republic, or we’re cooked.
Putting in effort to be sufficiently informed to respond with discernment concerning laws, policies and regulations which will shape individuals and, eventually, the culture of communities, states, a country.
Whenever the opportunity presents itself, voting in alignment with God’s priorities. Imagine! Investing a few moments to check a box, to cast a ballot, and by that simple step doing our part promoting light and pushing back darkness.
- Revolutionary War leader Sam Adams adjured, “Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is … executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.”
- President Calvin Coolidge similarly urged each patriot to “approach the ballot box in the spirit that they would approach a sacrament”.
Graciously but unabashedly making known the Divine perspective — Scriptural truth for every corner of life – to elected officials, public servants and the guy in the cubicle beside you or living next door.
- As I heard Sen. Ted Cruz’s father Rafael recently remind a roomful of pastors: the Christian’s job description is not to preach “just the Gospel”, ie, confining himself to tutoring sinners on how to get into heaven. It comprises making clear “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27); for this age and that to come; as the Apostle Peter phrased it, “all that pertains to life and godliness” (2 Pet 1:3).
Perhaps standing for office oneself? At some juncture, men and women purposefully committed to godliness must step into strategic leadership roles if a society is to operate according to God’s design. In demand right now? Twenty-first century versions of problem-solving Joseph in Egypt, Daniel serving in Nebuchadnezzar’s court, Esther, Mordecai, Nehemiah functioning in high places.

Make no mistake, the “salt-and-light” mandate will require stepping out of what many would call their “comfort zone”. It can get challenging, costly — even a little scary?

Some twenty years ago I was sitting in a local Dunkin’ Donuts when swept in one of our then-Congressmen who was running for re-election. He was a Republican, but a social liberal — in today’s argot, a consummate “RINO” squish. I wincingly remember feeling God’s searaching, “Well-waddya-gonna-do?” gaze boring into the back of my skull.

Contrary to my bluff and opinionated personality, I’ve never relished personal confrontation. But that coffee-shop moment was my hands-on opportunity to be “salt and light” to someone whose decisions could potentially make a real difference. So, lump in my throat, I approached him and politely let him know he couldn’t count on my support — and why.

I suppose I passed that test. Of course, there’ll be many others — for me, for every believer, for the church corporately. The Judge of the Universe has his eyes fixed on us all and He’s asking, “I’ve put America in your hands — what will you do with her?” We’ll provide an acceptable answer to that question now — or answer for failing to do so on that day we stand before Him.

Free Republic founder Jim Robinson posted this on the popular conservative internet forum on Friday evening. Militia units from California and Texas were joining together to defend the US southern border.

Ok, this is just the germination of the plan.

We have independent units from the Bolinas Border Patrol and the Central Valley Citizens militia joining forces with independent citizens militia units of Texas to defend our southern border in Texas, to protest Obama’s lawless open borders policies and to rally support for Governor Perry to officially call out Guard units and Texas militia units at his disposal to defend the border!! Lawsuits will not cut it. The invasion is happening now. Action must be taken NOW!!

New border risk: ISIS ties to Mexican drug lords

Expert warns Middle East turmoil could sting U.S.

WASHINGTON – A top U.S. Defense Department analyst under President Bush says ISIS, the Islamic jihadists creating a Muslim caliphate in Iraq and beyond, could use the Mexican border to infiltrate America, and it could happen “sooner rather than later.”

At a time when thousands are crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally each day, the risks might never be higher, said Michael Maloof, now a senior staff writer for WND and expert on the Middle East.

He said there are risks to the economy and the nation’s health. And he warned the Iraq crisis easily could turn into a global issue.

In the Middle East, the radical jihadists in the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (Greater Syria), or ISIS, have been conquering northern portions of Iraq. They’ve been executing, crucifying and beheading as they burn through the fragile nation. They now threaten to overthrow the government of Iraq and its neighbors to build a caliphate to use as a launching pad for attacks on the U.S. and its allies.

At the same time, some 1,500 illegal aliens are crossing the Mexico-U.S. border each day and the Obama administration has done little, if anything, to stop the influx.

Putting the two together should raise alarms, he said.

“ISIS may be working to infiltrate” the U.S. with the aid of transnational drug cartels, he said, citing the violent Mexican criminal gang MS-13 as a highly likely candidate for the partnership.

“MS-13 already are in over 1,100 U.S. cities, and, as a consequence, the infiltration capabilities are very, very high and the threat from them can be sooner rather than later,” Maloof warned.

If ISIS did smuggle operatives into the U.S. across the U.S.-Mexico border it would almost certainly not be the first time a terrorist group has done so.

media have reported multiple cases of foreign nationals, including al-Qaida sleeper operatives, being smuggled into the U.S.

Further, in multiple instances the action was said to be aided by MS-13.

As reported by WND in 2005, Paul L. Williams, a former FBI consultant and author of “The al-Qaida Connection: International Terrorism, Organized Crime and the Coming Apocalypse,” claimed that al-Qaida under the leadership of Osama Bin Laden had delivered nuclear technology into the U.S.

Williams said at that time that former CIA Director George Tenet informed President Bush one month after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that at least two suitcase nukes allegedly had reached al-Qaida operatives in the U.S.

Williams claimed al-Qaida would pay the notorious MS-13 street gang between $30,000 and $50,000 for each sleeper agent smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico. The sleepers are also provided with phony identification, most often bogus matricula consular ID cards indistinguishable from Mexico’s official ID, which are accepted in the U.S. to open bank accounts and obtain driver’s licenses.

At the time, a Border Patrol supervisor anonymously reported that there was a surge in “OTMS” – other than Mexicans – being caught coming into the U.S.

“About one in every 10 that we catch, is from a country like Yemen or Egypt,” he said.

According to Border Patrol spokesman Rob Daniels, 10 Egyptians were arrested recently near Douglas, Arizona. Each had paid $7,000 to be brought from Guatemala into Mexico and then across the border, he said.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, hours after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an anonymous caller led Mexican immigration agents to 41 undocumented Iraqis waiting to cross into the United States.

The Associated Press reported Mexican immigration police detained 13 citizens of Yemen on Sept. 24, 2001, who were reportedly waiting to cross the border into Arizona. The Yemenis were arrested in Agua Prieta, across the border from Douglas. Luis Teran Balaguer, assistant head of immigration in the northern state of Sonora, said, “The evidence indicates that they have nothing to do with terrorist activities.”

The Agua Prieta Mexico newspaper, El Ciarin, however, did not agree with Balaguer’s assessment. The editor, Jose Noriega Durazo, said on a front-page headline “The Arab terrorists were here!”

Potential terrorists stealing across the border had been predicted well in advance of the World Trade Center disaster. A May 1, 2000, report to the Committee on the Judiciary, House of Representatives, the General Accounting Office said: “Alien smuggling is a significant and growing problem. Some are smuggled as part of a criminal or terrorist enterprise that can pose a serious threat to U.S. national security.”

Then-Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., the same year, said, “It’s almost incredible to recognize, as part of the overall strategy this government is going to employ to deal with the issue of terrorism, that we would not concentrate heavily on securing our borders and try to do everything humanly possible to stop people, who have evil intent, from coming into the United States.”

While an immediate goal is to strike fear in the hearts of the enemies of Islam, the ultimate aim is for the children, their parents and their communities to adopt the jihadists’ fundamental Islamic beliefs and submit to Shariah, or Islamic law, said Heritage Foundation Middle East analyst Jim Phillips.

Boko Haram’s campaign of terror includes massacres of Christians and destruction of their churches. Only a few dozen of the schoolgirls have been able to escape their captors, and the government has declared a state of emergency across the region.

ISIS recently was blamed for the kidnapping of the boys from Syria who had traveled to Aleppo for academic testing. They were on their way home when terrorists intercepted a convoy of minibuses and took the boys to Minbej for “training.”

“The two groups are very similar in one sense, because it’s one way for the terrorists to impose their will and intimidate the parents of these young people, not just the young people themselves,” Phillips said.

Phillips said it’s possible that one of the ISIS objectives for the kidnappings is to brainwash the teenage boys and turn them into suicide bombers.

Reports by The Australian and Britain’s Daily Mail confirm Phillips’ concern that one of the motives for ISIS for the series of kidnappings is to try to convince Kurdish school boys to become jihadists.

WND reported in June that some of the kidnapped school girls have been sold into slavery. The Los Angeles Daily News reported in May that one of Boko Haram’s objectives is to brainwash the girls into supporting the Nigerian terrorist group’s cause.

Another major goal is to put a rope around the children’s parents to control them, Phillips believes.

“One of the primary purposes would be intimidating the parents, to influence them to move away, or to facilitate some sectarian cleansing,” Phillips said.

WND reported in March 2012 that Boko Haram’s intention was to eradicate Christianity from northern Nigeria.

WND reported last week that an objective for ISIS is to redraw the borders of the Middle East by smashing the “partitioning of Muslim lands by crusader powers.”

The goal is outlined in an article in its latest weekly Web magazine, The Islamic State Report, a professionally designed mouthpiece meant to recruit would-be jihadist fighters from the West.

Revolution is also on the mind of Boko Haram. WND reported in June 2012 that the leadership of the Nigerian jihadist group declared that its goal is nothing less than a breakaway Shariah state in Nigeria’s north.

“This is a way to win supporters, to intimidate enemies and give them a taste of power and a sense of righteousness,” Phillips said. “It’s also about holding the group together and strengthening the fanaticism of the group.”

A former CIA station chief who asked not to be named said the two groups most likely draw support and inspiration from one another.

“It is a global jihad and the different elements of it have always drawn from each others’ tactics to achieve the same strategies and objectives,” he said.

“Boko Haram draws directly from Muhammad and al-Qaida, and there can be no doubt that savvy Internet operators like ISIL/ISIS [are] aware of the positive benefits Boko Haram gained from kidnapping 300 students and killing others,” the former station chief said.

Center for Security Policy Senior Analyst Clare Lopez said there is a common source for the motives driving the two kidnappings.

“Kidnapping the Kurdish boys is somewhat similar to Boko Haram’s kidnapping of the girls, in that Islamic doctrine sanctions such behavior on both counts,” Lopez said. “This is just what Muslims on jihad do, whenever and wherever they are.”

While Phillips said he believes ISIS may be trying to neutralize Kurdish opposition using fear for the safety of the children, Lopez believes the kidnappings could have the opposite effect.

“It’s doubtful the overall Kurdish leadership will be anything but enraged. They will wreak vengeance for this kidnapping, maybe even succeed in getting the boys back,” Lopez said.

She added that the Kurds will fiercely defend their territory.

“They have the population numbers and fighting prowess to succeed. This is their best chance in a century to carve out an autonomous homeland for themselves,” she said.

Lopez said that while Boko Haram likely will use the kidnapped girls as sex slaves, ISIS will treat the boys as the Ottomans did Balkan boys.

“They want to deplete Kurdish male numbers, of course, but also to brainwash and turn these boys into jihad fighters to turn back against their own people,” she said.

Consultancy Africa analyst and former U.S. Embassy in Beirut staff member Maha Hamdan noted ISIS has the same Islamic supremacist doctrine as Boko Haram, al-Qaida, the perpetrators of the Syrian massacres against the Alawites, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and many other jihadist groups.

Obama Look-Alike Dies in US Border Protection Commercial Aimed at Migrants

An actor with a striking resemblance to President Barack Obama stars — and dies — in a new federal government commercial aimed at preventing and scaring Central American migrants from attempting to illegally enter the United States.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) unveiled the commercial on Thursday on both sides of the border. According to ABC, the ads will be “dramatic, made in the telenovella fashion.”

The Obama doppelgänger is featured saying goodbye to his mother and father in Central America before making the treacherous journey north. He is then shown dead in the desert, sprawled on the ground — like the Guatemalan child who was recently found dead after he attempted the journey to America. That migrant’s mother reportedly urged him not to make the journey, which he wanted to do to earn money to help with his mom’s sickness.

Most parents, though, have been led to believe that they and their kids will be granted amnesty once they enter the United States despite the claims of top Obama administration officials. Migrants have jumped on so-called “death trains” or have put their lives in the hands of smugglers and cartels to sneak into the U.S.

Numerous migrants who have been interviewed said they believed they would be allowed to stay in the U.S. indefinitely if they made it across the border, and many are even flagging down Border Patrol agents thinking they will receive “permisos” to remain in the country.

As Breitbart Texas noted, the CBP said the ads will be “an aggressive Spanish language outreach effort and an urgent call to action to community groups, the media, parents and relatives in the U.S. and Central America to save and protect the lives of migrant children attempting to cross the southwest border.”

The CBP will use “print, radio ads, and billboards” in addition to making 6,500 public service announcements during the campaign.

In the fiscal year before Obama unilaterally enacted the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in 2012, there were 6,500 illegal immigrant kids who entered the country, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. According to the Christian Science Monitor, “during the decade preceding fiscal year 2012, the federal government agency tasked with caring for unaccompanied minors who cross the border illegally dealt with an average of 7,000 to 8,000 cases a year.”

The Monitor noted in the the fiscal year after Obama enacted DACA, “the number jumped to 13,625,” and at least 50,000, most of whom have been from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, have entered illegally since October of last year. As Breitbart News has reported, federal and local officials are estimating at least 150,000-160,000 more will try next year.

But the Obama administration insisted that DACA, which has been extended for another two-year period, will not be rescinded, saying it did not send the wrong message to those in Central America.

Border Agent Ignores Gag Order: Obama is Aiding, Abetting & Facilitating Illegal Alien Smuggling

United States Border Agent and spokesman for the National Border Patrol Counsel for the Laredo, Texas area Hector Garza came out with an explosive accusation, stating that the Obama administration is not only aiding and abetting illegal alien smuggling and then putting the bill on American taxpayers, but also said that the diversion of so many resources to the border in one area is allowing drug cartels to sneak illegal drugs and weapons across the border undetected.

Appearing on CNN, Garza said that what is going on is a “rapid abuse of our immigration system.”

“We have a situation right now where the federal government is aiding and abetting and facilitating the smuggling of these individuals, illegal aliens,” he continued. “These illegal aliens cross the borders illegally. We have to handle these illegals that pretty much surrender themselves because they know that they are getting a free pass.”

“This is organized, it’s an orchestrated situation,” Garza added. “It’s orchestrated by the drug cartels, and it’s pretty much a rapid abuse of our immigration system.”

We already know that Obama administration had prepared for this since January. The smoking gun was the Homeland Security bid where the federal agency solicited escorts for 65,000 illegal immigrant children in January. This hasn’t been orchestrated just by the drug cartels, but by the current criminal administration.

Keep in mind that the drug cartels were the ones that Obama’s ATF were trafficking weapons to in Operation Fast and Furious and they were doing it so the cartels could fight off opposing cartels, according to high-ranking Mexican drug cartel operative Jesus Vicente Zambada-Niebla, who was the Sinaloa Cartel’s “logistics coordinator.”

When asked what he thinks should be done, Garza said, “The changes need to start here in our country. We need to make sure our border agents have the proper resources and the proper funding to make sure they can do their job. As it is right now with this orchestrated and organized situation that we’re having, it’s a border security crisis.”

“Some people call it a ‘humanitarian crisis,’ and to some degree it is, but it’s a border security crisis,” said the Border Patrol agent.

Garza made a startling statement that nearly 70% of the Border Patrol agents are now being reassigned for processing duties. “What this means is that 30% of the Border Patrol agents are doing field work, who actually patrol out border, and what that creates is a very porous border where dangerous criminals and dangerous drugs are entering our country undetected.”

Ruben Navarrette, from the Daily Beast, said that what’s been ignored in the discussion is the employers who want cheap labor and he wondered how Garza was coming on CNN and violating a gag order allegedly imposed on Border Patrol agents. While that is certainly an issue that needs to be addressed, especially if they are breaking the law in hiring illegals, Garza was asked to respond.

“Let me paint a picture for you,” he said. “You’re at the river, right at the border trying to protect our country from dangerous drugs and criminals and when you have a smuggler hand over these children and these family units and all we’re doing is getting their information, giving them a piece of paper and asking them to report back to an immigration hearing based on the honor system. That’s what we’re doing. These illegal immigrants are being released into our country and the majority are never going to report back to an immigration hearing.”

While he acknowledged that there are a lot of children, he also was clear that there are adults as well.

“How do you expect a mother from Honduras that is crossing the country with 3 to 5 children, and they’re all young-aged children, how do you expect for that mother who comes to this country to actually begin working?” he asked.

“This illegal alien who comes to this country with 3 to 5 kids is gonna depend on our welfare system, on government assistance,” he concluded. “And you know what? That is costing the taxpayer a lot of money.”

It seems to me that Garza understands exactly what is going on. Deal with the criminal activity at the border and exercise justice. Stop coddling these people and deal with the corrupt leaders who swear to uphold the law, but ignore it claiming it doesn’t make sense and isn’t smart. When justice prevails then we will see our nation blessed again, instead of seeing it invaded by those whose first act inside our borders is to violate the law

We Hold These Truths To Be Self Evident

JULY 4, 1776, some 238 years ago, the Declaration of Independence was approved and the battle was on. This world famous document — today studied daily around the world– for the first time declared to a watchful world that the only true way to be free and independent from the chains of powerful men was to be dependent upon the Creator of the universe. This firm reliance in providence is what gave the Founders the resolve and courage to set forth upon the greatest journey in modern history.
In patriotic boldness John Hancock signed first, saying, “The price on my head has just doubled.” Rumor has it that Hancock wrote so big as to allow the King to read it without his glasses. Benjamin Franklin while signing said “We must hang together or most assuredly we shall hang separately.”

These men knew the risks to not only their fortunes but to their very lives. They risked it all. Some gave all. Are we today cut from that cloth? Are there any George Washingtons among us today?

The original draft of the Declaration boldly declared slavery an abomination. However, two southern colonies prevented the language from remaining, and thus without unanimous consent, the language was removed upon the final draft. Make no mistake, the Founding Fathers, some even as slave holders themselves, were true abolitionists.

Three of the men most responsible for the birth of this new nation and the penning of the Declaration gave to us indispensable wisdom on how to remain free:

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” — Thomas Jefferson

“Children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom.” — John Adams

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” — Ben Franklin

the United States of America. Today that final design can be found on the back of the one dollar bill. However, the very first design included a depiction of Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea (following the smoke and fire of God) with Pharaoh and his army being swallowed up by the rushing waters. The motto circling the image declared, “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”

The Founding Fathers, being the children of the Great Awakening era, knew their Bibles and knew the significance of God’s providence in history. They studied philosophy, they studied government. They knew that for government to truly be an instrument of the people, by the people and for the people, it must begin with faith in God. Only a virtuous people will be good public servants. These rulers would be of their own, choosing from among themselves.

The liberty bell in Philadelphia — cracked during the revolution — declares this truth. It holds the inscription of Leviticus 25:10 “Proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.”

Today we are told by an all powerful IRS that the churches and pulpits of America are no place for political rhetoric. Churches today face fines and loss of non-profit status if they dare speak out on their view of politics and government. It wasn’t always this way.

Leading up to the revolution was a group of patriot soldiers known as the black robe regiment. These men were the patriot clergymen who gave rousing sermons to their congregations and to town hall meetings held in their churches all across the colonies. These speeches were vital and instrumental in getting the word out to the people, encouraging and educating the colonists about the need for revolution if freedom was indeed their desire.

Today we call this networking and mobilization. It has become the foundation upon which success is achieved in both our personal and professional lives.

These black robed clergy knew that without God — life, liberty and the pursuits of man — are all truly nothing more than what we now refer to as “survival of the fittest.”

Soon after the Declaration, the Continental Congress assigned a paid Chaplain to each Regiment of George Washington’s continental army. Washington himself asked all soldiers to attend religious services and prayed himself for the “blessing and protection of Heaven” and to “endeavour so to live, and act, as becomes a Christian Soldier defending the dearest Rights and Liberties of his country.”

We are a nation adrift — we’ve been lost at sea for so long most no longer remember when or where we set out on this journey and certainly have no clue what-so-ever on where we are headed. We are like lost children who have forgotten their parents and who only know but where they stand.

Of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence: 17 lost their fortunes, 12 had their homes destroyed, 5 became prisoners of war, 1 had two sons imprisoned on the British starving ship Jersey, 1 had a son killed in battle, 1 had his wife die from harsh prison treatment and 9 of the signers died during the War.

When Samuel Adams signed the Declaration, he said: “We have this day restored the Sovereign to whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.”

John Adams prophesied: “I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.” Continuing he said, “I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost to maintain this Declaration…Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory…Posterity will triumph in that day’s transaction, even though we should rue it, which I trust in God we shall not.”

Today we face a broken world, divided people, discontent, fear, political crisis, war, famine, moral depravity, licentiousness, covetousness and selfishness beyond comprehension.

Today I wonder if we do still believe that all are created equal.
Do we acknowledge that they have a Creator?
Do we still believe in unalienable Rights?
While we pursue our wants and pleasures and so-called happiness, do we as a people still believe in Life or Liberty?
Do we truly still hold these Truths to be self-evident?

U.S. sovereignty was hard-fought. The Declaration was just the beginning. It took seven years of war and tens of thousands of American lives to secure the 13 colonies under a single flag. What was once British territory became American territory. Sovereignty over one’s territory is key to maintaining a nation’s independence—just ask Ukraine about Russia’s “acquisition” of Crimea. Protecting one’s borders is equally important—just ask Syria and Iraq about their border, a portion of which was recently bulldozed by ISIS.

But just as important as territorial sovereignty is legal sovereignty, which is how a nation’s independence truly is measured. A people technically may possess their territory but be under the dominion of another nation. A nation under military occupation by a foreign nation is not independent. Even when the U.S. returned sovereignty to the government of Iraq in 2004, the country was not truly independent until many years later.

So as America celebrates its birthday today, let us take the measure of our sovereignty. Territorially, Americans need only look to the south for a reminder of how lax border enforcement can lead to chaos as more than 50,000 children have streamed over the U.S.-Mexico border in recent months. It is difficult to call a nation sovereign if it is unable to control its own borders. Why is it that an additional $2 billion and a “sustained border security surge” is necessary to prevent tens of thousands of illegal immigrants from entering our nation? Such negligence indicates, at best, a serious lack of commitment to our territorial integrity.

And what about our legal sovereignty? The Obama administration has urged Congress to ratify treaties that would make the drafters of the Declaration blanch. The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea would subject the U.S. to baseless international lawsuits and require the U.S. Treasury to transfer millions of dollars in offshore oil royalties to the International Seabed Authority in Jamaica for “redistribution” to the so-called developing world.

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities would subject U.S. disability laws to the scrutiny of a committee of supposed experts holding court in Geneva. The administration also is preparing to sign the Ottawa Mine Ban Treaty, which would require the U.S. to ban its anti-personnel landmines, depriving U.S. armed forces of a key tool for shaping the battlefield. Again, ask Ukraine, which ratified the Ottawa Treaty in 2005, how its zero-tolerance landmine policy is working for it as Russian tanks roll into its territory.

In the Declaration, the Founders complained about being subject to foreign taxation, to being subjected to “a Jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution,” and to being transported across the seas to face criminal charges in a foreign land. The Declaration gave notice that these infringements on American sovereignty would not stand. Yet the Obama administration would have Americans subjected to taxes from the International Seabed Authority and U.S. laws and policies adjudicated by international committees sitting in Switzerland. Some American progressives would even have our military leaders and servicemen tried by the International Criminal Court for war crimes in The Hague, Netherlands.

Today, as in 1776, such infringements on American sovereignty must not stand. The drafters of the Declaration would be shocked to find Americans submitting themselves to the will of international organizations. The United States should, of course, work with other nations in a principled way that advances its national interests. But the Founders would be amazed by the extent and depth of the threats to American sovereignty posed by this new progressive vision.

The Founders did not risk their lives, fortunes and sacred honor casting off the rule of King George III so that, more than 200 years later, America could subject itself to the whims of unelected foreign bureaucrats. Sovereignty was essential to the founding of America in 1776, and it is essential to America today.

About the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution, in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”

‘I am not a racist. I am not an alarmist. I am an epidemiologist’

The establishment media’s refusal to acknowledge that once-contained or eradicated diseases are re-entering the U.S. through the latest flood of illegal aliens isn’t a surprise to Michael Savage, who earned a doctorate in epidemiology at the University of California at Berkeley before becoming a top nationally syndicated talk-radio host.

“What the liberal media is hiding from you can be dangerous for your safety, your security and your health,” he told his listeners.

After earning his doctorate in 1978 and writing six books, Savage pitched to publishers a book titled “Immigrants and Epidemics,” which he wrote with the dean of a “prestigious public health university.”

“Although all my previous books had done well,” Savage recalled, “all publishers in New York City in 1982 said we cannot publish a book on immigrants and epidemics, no matter how well (documented) or factually true it is. We can’t publish it for political reasons.”

The rejection angered him, he said, and was one of the reasons he eventually decided to go into talk radio, in 1994.

Since then, he said, “I’ve been trying to warn Americans about what unscreened immigrants will be bringing into America.”

‘You’re not going to hear this’

As thousands of illegal-alien children, prompted by President Obama’s policies, overwhelm the capacity of southern border states, Border Patrol agents who essentially have been turned into child caretakers are being exposed to disease, Savage said.

“Right now, you’re not going to hear this, but we have Tuberculosis, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, Chagas disease – previously eradicated from Southern California – on the rise and testing positive in … Border Patrol agents,” Savage said.

Other diseases emerging among Border Patrol agents, he said, include H1N1 Swine flu and chicken pox.

“The Border Patrol is being threatened with lawsuits and firing if they disclose this,” he said. “Congressmen are being turned away from the border as they go to investigate this surge of infected illegal aliens being thrown across the border at us.”

Speaking to his critics, Savage pointed to his academic qualifications.

“It’s easy for you to say I’m simply an alarmist or a racist, I’m a this-ist or a that-ist,” he said. “Well you’ve got it all wrong. The only “ist” I am is an epidemiologist. I am not a racist. I am not an alarmist. I am an epidemiologist by training.”

‘Next American revolution’

Savage called the border crisis an “invasion orchestrated in the White House for political reasons.”

It reached a flashpoint Tuesday when protesters blocked buses from transporting illegal-alien children from Central America to Border Patrol facilities in Murrieta, California, south of Los Angeles.

Savage sees the Murrieta protest as a seminal moment in which the “real America” said no to the government.

“It’s the beginning of the next American revolution,” he said. “This is not a joke. Take a look at their faces: Women, men, children holding signs ‘Stop illegal immigration.’”

Savage criticized House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi for justifying the violation of law by emphasizing that “every person has a spark of divinity in them.”

“Sure, they have a spark of divinity,” Savage responded, but, he asked, “What kind of mothers would do to humans what they wouldn’t do to a dog?

“If you drop a dog off on the side of a street and run away, you’re considered a bad person; you could be arrested,” he said. “But the federal government has no problem with dropping children off on the side of a road?”

Savage asked if Americans really understand what will happen “when a soccer mom awakens one morning and her daughter’s hair is crawling with lice?”

“Do you understand what’s going to happen when she awakens one morning and her little darling comes home testing positive for Tuberculosis, because one of the divinely inspired children of Nancy Pelosi was permitted to enter that classroom with Tuberculosis?”

Failure to follow the Constitution

He rattled off a series of further questions:

“Do you know that your U.S. government officials can be arrested for refusing to protect Americans from the dangerous diseases that they are exposing us to?”
“Do you understand they are waging a war against conservative communities by bringing in whole populations of automatic Democrat voters, legal or illegal?”
“Do you understand that this is not ultra-tolerance for immigrants but a war against America?”

In his 2005 book “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder,” Savage noted in a chapter called “Alien invasion” that Republican President Ronald Reagan signed legislation allowing amnesty, which, according to most experts, made the illegal-alien problem worse.

“If you think it’s a problem that began with Obama, you’re mistaken,” Savage told his listeners Wednesday.

“We need to stop here and remember what happened. President Reagan was negotiating with Tip O’Neill regarding the amnesty package, and a reduced tax package. Typical of the Leftist, they promised that once he signed the Amnesty bill, they would give him a tax reduction bill. As history has recorded, the tax reduction never happened. That is another reason there is never a reason to trust a Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Liberal Democrat.” JB

In his 2005 book, he noted that the U.S. Constitution requires the federal government to “protect each state against invasion.”

Both Republicans and Democrats are responsible, Savage said.

“Thanks to their failure to follow the Constitution with the same fervor with which they slavishly follow poll numbers,” he wrote, “our borders are more porous than your grandmother’s sieve.”

Federal Gov’t Sues Wisconsin Company Over ‘Discriminating’ English-Language Requirement

(CNSNews.com) — The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), a federal agency tasked with enforcing workplace discrimination laws, is suing a private American business for firing a group of Hispanic and Asian employees over their inability to speak English at work, claiming that the English-language requirement in a U.S. business constitutes “discrimination.”

Judicial Watch reported Tuesday that the government is accusing Wisconsin Plastics, Inc. of violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on “national origin.” The government argues this includes the “linguistic characteristics of a national origin group.”

Irene Garcia, the blog editor and Spanish media liaison for Judicial Watch, called the EEOC’s accusation “ludicrous.”

“That’s ludicrous and an overreaching of government,” Garcia told CNSNews.com. “If you are a private company in the United States, you should be able to require your employees to speak English.”

According to a news release from the EEOC, Chicago Regional Attorney John C. Hendrickson said the Green Bay-based company’s English requirement is based on “superficial” reasoning.

“Our experience at the EEOC has been that so-called ‘English only’ rules and requirements of English fluency are often employed to make what is really discrimination appear acceptable. But superficial appearances are not fooling anyone,” Hendrickson said in the release. “When speaking English fluently is not, in fact, required for the safe and effective performance of a job, nor for the successful operation of the employer’s business, requiring employees to be fluent in English usually constitutes employment discrimination on the basis of national origin — and thus violates federal law.”

But Garcia said the ability to speak English is necessary for employees of Wisconsin Plastics, Inc., but that the employees in question “were not able to speak English at any kind of level that would be considered proficient.”

“In this case some English is necessary to communicate with supervisors and stuff like that, and the EEOC just went after this private company because some employees were being marked down for not having English skills. So that doesn’t really make sense,” she said.

Garcia added that the lawsuit, filed on June 9, is just the latest in a slew of attempts by the EEOC and the Obama administration to go after American businesses for so-called “discrimination.” She cited numerous cases in which the EEOC has accused businesses of discriminating by requiring workers to speak English, running background and criminal checks, and enforcing company-wide restrictions on head coverings, including those worn by some Muslim women.

“We’ve seen some decisions that are kind of radical that we haven’t seen in the past, under Republican or Democrat administrations,” she said, claiming the EEOC under the Obama administration is “on a roll.”

Many lawsuits brought by the EEOC subjectively twist the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include things it was never meant to cover, Garcia added.

“We’re seeing a lot of these kinds of law suits using his civil rights law to sue on behalf of all these different causes that I believe violate the spirit of the law,” Garcia explained.

“In terms of religious and language rights under the Civil Rights Act, that’s what the administration is using to offer and extend protects when really and truly there’s no place for them [in the law],” she said.

This is ground zero in a very real War on Women:

A War on Children, no-less as young girls from Central America – some with parents, some without – travel on the death trains and trails through Mexico toward awaiting DHS lawyers, food, shelter, court dates, underwear, and the promise of Disneyland are being rented out, raped and abused along the way.

It’s repulsive, evil and orchestrated in the quest for political power.

Texas is the quickest route (and conveniently the reddest State) to enter through and border authorities there are overwhelmed. This, despite a Nostradamus-like request back in January by DHS on the BizOpps website seeking “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children.”

U.S. law is clear: Once a child from a foreign country reaches American soil, they must be processed and released into the country with friends or relatives to await an appearance in deportation court. Let me ask you a rhetorical question:

Let’s say you’re a mom and you just dragged your little girls through the deserts of Central America and Mexico; hopped a few moving trains; watched your precious babies be raped and abused; paid extortion money; were raped and abused yourself; maybe saw one of your kids lose an arm or a leg trying to jump off a rape train; made it across the Rio Grande to America and got issued a court date to determine if you’re all there illegally and should be returned:

– would you show up to court?

The message has been clear to people in Central America: Get your child and yourself across the border and Obama will let you stay. One federal judge slammed the Department of Homeland Security for “completing a criminal conspiracy” by placing a recently smuggled child with the undocumented immigrant parent who had hired the smugglers.

Now let me be clear: Once a child is here on American soil – I don’t care where they’re from – we should take good care of them. Period

It’s not their fault they’re here anymore than it’s their fault that they were gang-raped by vile, smelly, desert pedophilistas. But they shouldn’t be coming here in the first place and a secure border would stop the flood immediately. I know, good luck with that one..

If Republicans and Democrats did their Constitutional duty, the message gets back quickly that you can’t come in illegally and there would be no exodus for the Texas border.

Our leaders are all complicit in these children’s living nightmare of cruelty, unspeakable pain and lifelong suffering. They come because they’re getting the green-light from this Obama Administration and their enablers in the Republican Chamber of Amnesty Commerce House of Zuckerberg Main Street Partnership SuperPAC Party. Oh, shut-up – I just invented that.

Miami is one of 10 cities where the children are being sent for immigration proceedings as border shelters fill up. The stories are the same, however.

raped by strangers. “The only thing I was thinking was that they were going to kill me, that I was going to die..”

Ana was the youngest in a group of 12 Hondurans, including adults, who boarded buses and cars to reach the U.S. border: “It was early morning and dark, and when we reached a cottage in a mountain, the men grabbed me after my group disappeared,” she recalled.

After raping her, the attackers left. At sunrise, her group found her, and resumed their trip toward the U.S. border.

So off they go, back on their road trip toward DHS lawyers, new underwear and America to “feed the vote-hungry appetites of Amnesty supporters” as Colonel Allen West so correctly nailed it.

I wonder – will this be the last time Ana is raped and tortured by filthy sub-human predators, out hunting for their jollies? They know thousands upon thousands are coming into Mexico en route to Obama’s Promised Land; so for the scumbags, pedophiles, rapists and monsters looking to satiate your wickedness? Just follow the Yellow Rape Road..

Or are you going to tell me this was just Ana’s bad luck – a tragic exception? I’ll tell you exactly what Ana and thousands of young girls being ravaged by sociopaths are:

The horror these girls endure are the price paid for Obama’s fundamental changing of America and all who enable this – including Republicans standing by while Executive Orders scoff at the Separation of Powers – are complicit in their traumatized, bloody, raped and abused nightmares.

Because this eradication of our border and abdication of duty, Americans are now pitted against little children flooding their cities and stressing their local resources as Immigration officials process and bus the kids off to cities around the South. Mayor Pro-Tem of Hemet, Ca.; Shellie Milne, pointed out to me that it’s quite a coincidence these kids and their “escorts” are almost exclusively being bussed to Republican strongholds such as her district.

Indeed, three buses holding 140 undocumented who were being taken to Murrieta, CA; Tuesday afternoon were greeted by angry protesters and turned away from its intended destination. Even so, Murrieta may receive an additional 140 immigrants every 72 hours for several weeks – making residents there look exactly how the Obama Administration and the media wants them to look.

That’s what’s really sick – this whole thing is part of the big Amnesty Bill picture. Obama, the Dems and the GOP all want their Amnesty – how many different ways can I say it?

Todd Starnes at Fox News now reports a government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Here comes the scary stuff, folks: According to medical staff at the base, the Security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.” In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared details with Starnes about contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans:

“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said. “Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”

She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired. “Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.” She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues. “I would be talking to children and lice would just be climbing down their hair.”

Both the counselor and a former nurse said their superiors tried to cover up the extent of the illnesses. “When they found out the kids had scabies, the charge nurse was adamant – ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies,’” the nurse recounted. “But everybody knew they had scabies.

These are Obama’s Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Since news of the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling on the Hobby Lobby case broke Monday, critics have been bashing the company for refusing to provide birth control to its employees.

However, this is extremely misleading, and this image from The Daily Signal explains why:

Traditional media have been posting headlines blasting Hobby Lobby for denying its employees contraceptives or birth control, those allegations are wrong. While the ruling could have implications affecting birth control coverage from other companies, that is simply not what Hobby Lobby fought for or achieved.

Rather, the company only wanted the right to not pay for what its owners view as drugs that terminate a pregnancy after the egg has been fertilized – emergency contraceptives such as Plan B. In other words, Hobby Lobby still provides birth control for its employees.

For Hobby Lobby specifically, this case was never about birth control but, rather, abortion – an action which 58% of Americans believe is wrong.

But then again, it’s a whole lot easier to wage a “war on women” when you say a company refused to pay for birth control…

Earlier today, I posted a story by Mac Slavo that came via Todd Starnes’ article from Fox News. I want to post something again because this is so important. America has to wake up and they have to wake up now. There is no more time.

Alternative Media gets a bad rap for so-called conspiracy theory. It comes with the territory. For those of you who don’t know me, I run an independent blog called D.C. Clothesline. We are small and have no ad budget. So, in order to get site traffic I do a lot of sharing on social media. Whenever I share a story that doesn’t quite fit in with the mainstream media norm, I tend to get lots of critical comments. One of the most common comments I hear is something like, “This is a blog. This can’t be true. Until I hear it on Fox News it isn’t true.”

Well, I am here to tell you that it is time to wake up because Fox News is now on board.

People should not be shocked if they have been paying attention.

Supreme Court Justice Scalia recently warned of the return of internment camps on U.S. soil.

As for FEMA camps, if anyone would bother to research something called REX-84 they would find that Oliver North spearheaded an effort to make plans for internment of American citizens. If things go south, there are plans in place. Don’t fool yourself. Why wouldn’t the government have a contingency plan?

That isn’t conspiracy. It is common sense.

The latest revelation, however, is frightening beyond belief.

By this time you have likely heard of the contagious diseases coming into this country via the immigration disaster at the southern border.

But Todd Starnes reported earlier today that workers are being threatened with arrest if they open their mouths about this problem:

The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.”

“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said. “Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirtlaws.”

p>For those of you who do not know what the significance of “Brown Shirts” are, let’s see what Wikipedia has to say:

The Sturmabteilung (SA) (German pronunciation: [ˈʃtʊɐ̯mʔapˌtaɪlʊŋ] ( listen); Storm Detachment or Assault Division, or Brownshirts) functioned as the original paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party. It played a key role in Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s. Their main assignments were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of the opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties (especially the Rotfrontkämpferbund) and intimidating Slavic and Romani citizens, unionists and Jews (e.g. the Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses).

Please understand that thanks to a few conscientious whistleblowers, Barack Obama’s hand has been shown. Some might say that this is not Obama’s work, but rather the responsibility of the contractors.

This is how government officials cover their tracks. We saw evidence of this in Iraq when our government hired Blackwater, now Academi, to do the “dirty work” that they didn’t want connected to them. It’s a simple yet effective strategy of passing the buck.

Fox News is reporting that Barack Obama has a security force in place that is named after the original Nazi German paramilitary wing.

Why would they call themselves “Brown Shirts?”

In the run up to the 2008 Presidential election Barack Obama promised he would work to implement a domestic security force which would rival that of the U.S. military. It was an idea heavily criticized by his opponents because of fears that such an organization would bear similarity to World War II era spying groups that policed the citizens of Nazi Germany.

Many dubbed Obama’s proposed force the “Brown Shirts,” a term often used to describe a Nazi assault force and one that has repeatedly been associated with extremist nationalists for their unwavering willingness to take and execute orders without question or contemplation. Brown shirt brigades were tasked with, among other things, arresting dissidents, silencing criticism and wholesale executions of those who could not be reeducated.

For the majority, the notion that such a force would be assembled in the United States was nothing but another conspiracy originating from the lunatic right wing. But in October of 2012 the Department of Homeland Security quietly graduated their first corp of civilian responders under the new program. And since then it is likely that thousands more have been trained and deployed across the country to be called upon in the event of an emergency.

And if there were ever an emergency that required a military level response in the United States, many believe it is happening right now on the Southern border as hundreds of thousands of migrants make their way illegally into America. Because of the sheer number of people heading to the U.S. and the complete failure, whether by chance or by design, of the Obama administration to secure the border, America is now faced with housing, feeding, clothing and providing medical care for more people than it was prepared to handle.

In response, rather than deploy Homeland Security or the National Guard to stop the migration at its source, the Administration has instead set up makeshift internment camps, some of which put scores of people in a room the size of a studio apartment. As a result, disease has spread and civilian emergency personnel have been tasked with providing care.

But among the doctors and caregivers is also a private security force that has been hired to keep the peace. And according to several people working inside the camps, the security groups have turned their attention not towards keeping peace between the migrants, but rather, at keeping the goings on of the facilities completely secret from the general public.

According to the unnamed source, who could not provide video documentation of these events because cell phones are not allowed in the facility, the security force is reportedly calling itself the “Brown Shirts.” The insider says they have been given orders to arrest anyone speaking to the public or using cell phones, and have implemented what is being referred to as “Brown Shirts Law.”

“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me.

“We were under orders not to say anything.”

The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.”

“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said.

“Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”

She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired.

“Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.”

She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues.

The U.S. Government has spent billions of dollars preparing a wide variety of protocols to respond to domestic emergencies. In addition to the Brown Shirt security teams currently in operation at migrant internment camps, the government has also stockpiled billions of rounds of ammunition, rifles, riot gear, armored vehicles, military drones and is believed to have set up hundreds of detention camps around the country in anticipation of events ranging from widespread civil unrest to natural disasters.

In the event of an emergency, the President, having authorized himself by Executive Doomsday Order, will have access to military assets, law enforcement, homeland security, and now a civilian policing force that is, apparently, ready to perform its job without questioning their complicity in covering up the spread of disease and who knows what else.

FEMA camps, believed to exist as a last resort in case the government has to round up and detain tens of thousands of people under a martial law declaration, will require very similar logistics as the existing migrant internment camps.

Now we know that, should you ever reside in a detention camp, there will be no information making its way in or out unless the message has been officially approved for dissemination. Anyone who fails to follow the rules and abide by Brown Shirts Law could have their career destroyed, be arrested or worse yet, charged under terrorism laws that, as the Brown Shirts of old may have referred to it, allow for a “final solution.”

While President Obama and Congressional members have made an effort to convince their constituents that the provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act will never be used against citizens of the United States, the fact is that the laws clearly allow for the detention, arrest and detainment of Americans without charge or trial. The President attempted to assuage these fears of potential abuse of the law by including a signing statement promising he would never use the law against Americans, but the statement itself is non-binding, leaving the possibility of misuse wide open.

In the event of a declared national emergency or war, when fear and panic are running rampant, the President will, without a shadow of a doubt, implement whatever means necessary in order to control the populace and maintain order.

Detainment and interment will be at the top of the Department of Homeland Security’s to-do list.

And if you have any doubts about this possibility then pay close attention to the words of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia at a recent event where law students asked the judge about the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.

Keep in mind that this is coming from one of the people who will be sitting on the panel of judges who decides whether or not such an act is Constitutional:

Well, of course, Korematsu was wrong. And I think we have repudiated in a later case.

But you are kidding yourself if you think the same thing will not happen again.

That’s what was going on — the panic about the war and the invasion of the Pacific and whatnot. That’s what happens. It was wrong, but I would not be surprised to see it happen again, in time of war.

It’s no justification, but it is the reality.

There will come a time in America when panic grips the nation. There will be riots, violence, and bloodshed resulting from any number of plausible scenarios like the collapse of our economic and monetary systems.

When this happens the government will implement their continuity plans. Martial law will be declared.

The Department of Homeland Security will activate their already stocked and staffed Federal Emergency Management Agency refugee camps. We’ve seen these in limited form during major storms like Hurricane Sandy. Those who came to FEMA for help reported that their facilities were like concentration camps.

But they were nothing compared to what would happen in a situation where hundreds of thousands of people would need to be detained under a national emergency declaration. According to various sources and a ton of research over the years, FEMA camps are situated all over the country and are awaiting internees.

A U.S. Army internal document provides some additional insight:

The document makes it clear that the policies apply “within U.S. territory” and involve, “DOD support to U.S. civil authorities for domestic emergencies, and for designated law enforcement and other activities,” including “man-made disasters, accidents, terrorist attacks and incidents in the U.S. and its territories.”

The manual states, “These operations may be performed as domestic civil support operations,” and adds that “The authority to approve resettlement such operations within U.S. territories,” would require a “special exception” to The Posse Comitatus Act, which can be obtained via “the President invoking his executive authority.” The document also makes reference to identifying detainees using their “social security number.”

Aside from enemy combatants and other classifications of detainees, the manual includes the designation of “civilian internees,” in other words citizens who are detained for, “security reasons, for protection, or because he or she committed an offense against the detaining power.”

If you’re paying attention you can see the signs everywhere. The government of the United States is preparing for a widespread event that, based on their recent activities, will require the deployment of armed police, military and even a multi-million strong civilian security force.

This is happening and a Supreme Court Justice of the United States just confirmed that there will be no stopping it.

Antonin Scalia: ‘You Are Kidding Yourself If You Think’ Internment Ruling Couldn’t Happen Again

HONOLULU (AP) — U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia told law students at the University of Hawaii on Monday that the nation’s highest court was wrong to uphold the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II, but he wouldn’t be surprised if the court issued a similar ruling during a future conflict.

Scalia was responding to a question about the court’s 1944 decision in Korematsu v. United States, which upheld the convictions of Gordon Hirabayashi and Fred Korematsu for violating an order to report to an internment camp.

“Well of course Korematsu was wrong. And I think we have repudiated in a later case. But you are kidding yourself if you think the same thing will not happen again,” Scalia told students and faculty during a lunchtime Q-and-A session.

Scalia cited a Latin expression meaning, “In times of war, the laws fall silent.”

“That’s what was going on — the panic about the war and the invasion of the Pacific and whatnot. That’s what happens. It was wrong, but I would not be surprised to see it happen again, in time of war. It’s no justification, but it is the reality,” he said.

Avi Soifer, the law school’s dean, said he believed Scalia was suggesting people always have to be vigilant and that the law alone can’t be trusted to provide protection.

Soifer said it’s good to hear Scalia say the Korematsu ruling was wrong, noting the justice has been among those who have reined in the power of military commissions regardless of the administration.

“We do need a court that sometimes will say there are individual or group rights that are not being adequately protected by the democratic process,” Soifer said.

Scalia was appointed to the nation’s highest court in 1986, making him the longest-serving justice currently on the court.

The 77-year-old spoke after teaching a class. He didn’t take questions from media.

Lie #1: Men are taking away women’s rights … again!

The easiest spin on the case was to frame the discussion away from religious rights, and make it a case of women’s rights. Feminists, liberal reporters, and even the White House got on the bandwagon for this one. The hashtag #NotMyBossesBusiness trended with the misleading message that employers were preventing their female employees from accessing birth control.Upon news of the ruling, MSNBC contributor Jimmy Williams tweeted, “Five men just told women all across America that their employers decide anything they want about their bodies.” A slight exaggeration?

Cosmo’s senior political writer Jill Filipovic weighed in:

else’s contraception is the same thing as prohibiting them from purchasing and using them themselves.”

Liberals seemed to miss the sticking point of this case: female employees of privately-owned businesses are not being forced to give up birth control; rather, the ruling gives business owners the right to not provide certain types of contraceptives in their insurance plan that they deem morally objectionable. Furthermore, businesses like Hobby Lobby already give their employees access to 16 different types of contraception in their employees health care plan. Which brings us to the next lie being spread by liberals on Twitter and elsewhere.

Lie #2: Conservatives are prudes who want to take away access to all contraception, which is a healthcare issue for many women.

Another argument making it’s rounds was that conservatives and religious organizations are trying to stop women from having sex, but that’s not the only reason women use contraception. While it is true that women use birth control for a variety of hormonal conditions, in this case Hobby Lobby already covered several different types of hormonal contraception, they were only objecting to 4 types of abortifacient pills, required under the HHS mandate. Hobby Lobby refused to pay for “morning after” abortion pills, not standard birth control.

Extreme feminist Amanda Marcotte who has compared getting an abortion to getting a cavity, retweeted classy lefty Twitter troll, “Religion is now only about unapproved f******.”

MSNBC’s Ed Shultz retweeted DC Debbie, who proudly called herself, “the top twitter influencer by Yahoo News” with over 25,000 followers,” who condescendingly tweeted, “People who think birth control is only for sex has never heard of polycystic ovarian cancer. PS: YOU’RE NOT A DOCTOR so shut up.”

DC Debbie also tweeted, “What’s the difference between the Taliban and Hobby Lobby? One believes their religion should rule over anyone else’s, the other is the Taliban.” Hmm, who’s the unreasonable one now?

Lie #3: Now any employer can claim religious objections to healthcare provisions in their plans

First of all, Alito wrote that vaccinations and blood transfusions were exempt from this ruling, and neither does the ruling “provide a shield for employers who might cloak illegal discrimination as a religious practice.” While liberals tried to make this a religious-rights-slippery-slope, the court carefully restricted this ruling to just employer-provided contraception.

Still, the Left’s hate for religious corporations was out in spades. All over Twitter, the case was mocked for it’s “religious bigotry.”

JERUSALEM – There is an attempt by jihadist organizations in the Gaza Strip to unite under the common banner of the al-Qaida-inspired Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, according to informed Middle Eastern security officials.

Contacted by WND, Abu Saqer, one of the top leaders of Jihadiya Salafiya, which represents al-Qaida ideology in the Gaza Strip, confirmed the attempt to organize various jihad groups to fight Israel under the ISIS umbrella.

Saqer claimed there is also an effort to recruit jihadists to ISIS from inside the West Bank, particularly in the Hebron region.

While the exact nature of the ISIS presence in Gaza remains unclear, the group’s flags were seen flying at a funeral this past Sunday for two terrorists eliminated in an Israel Air Force strike last Friday, Israel’s daily Maariv newspaper reported. The terrorists’ coffins were reportedly also draped in ISIS flags.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement the two targeted terrorists, Osama Hassumi, 29, and Mohammad Fatzih, 24, were responsible for rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip aimed at Israeli civilian population zones.

The IDF said the two terrorists belonged to the Salah e-Din Brigades of the Popular Front group.

Further highlighting the possible presence of ISIS-aligned fighters in Gaza, Maariv reported Saturday that Egyptian special forces arrested a terrorist cell that had used tunnels to cross from Gaza into the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula.

The newspaper quoted sources saying that Egypt’s interrogation of cell revealed the group was planning to set up ISIS cells inside the Sinai to target the Egyptian government.

Hamas, however, denied the Egyptian claim of ISIS terrorists originating in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas. Iyad Bazam, a Hamas spokesman, called the claims “blatant lies” that are “part of the ongoing Egyptian smear campaign against the Gaza Strip.”

Maybe Warren Weinstein isn’t as colorful a captive as Bowe Bergdahl was. After all, Weinstein isn’t a deserter from the U.S. military. Besides, the parents of Weinstein, who is 72, are likely too old or too dead to appear alongside the president in a self-congratulatory Rose Garden victory dance.

Or maybe it’s just that, with so much else on his plate these days, Barack Obama simply doesn’t have time to think about Weinstein, who hasn’t been heard from since December 2013 when al Qaeda released a video in which he asked Obama to negotiate his release.

Weinstein was working for a government contractor when he was kidnapped. His work in Pakistan was to boost the country’s dairy development, which according to his company resulted in $63 million in new investment to Pakistan, at least 2,150 new jobs, and a 25% boost in producer productivity.

His overseas home was stormed by al Qaeda operatives armed with AK-47s, who tortured and tied up the guards before abducting Weinstein. He had been living in the high-security compound for years, traveling back to Rockville frequently to see his family. “He was in his house sleeping in the master bedroom behind locked doors,” Elaine Weinstein, told WJZ-TV, earlier this week, beseeching Obama to intervene:

“Please … work as hard on getting my husband home as you worked to get the sergeant home. Please do whatever you can. He’s a father, a grandfather, a husband, a gentle, kind man, who needs to be home with his family.”

The sergeant she refers to is Bowe Bergdahl. It strikes me as strange that Obama would trade five Taliban “generals” for one

American deserter while leaving a 72-year old man working for the government to deteriorate in a terrorist prison.

Sidebar: I have to confess that I have a personal stake in Warren Weinstein’s well-being. He is one of the people most responsible for tuning me into a political geek.

My first year and a half in college was spent at the State University of NY at Oswego. I was a political science major and Dr. Weinstein was a favorite professor, my department adviser, and as president of the Hillel (officially called the Jewish Student Union). I worked closely with Dr. Weinstein, who always impressed me man with a big heart. It is not a surprise that when he was kidnapped he was teaching people how to get more food out of their land. That’s the type of person he is. Warren Weinstein is the guy who would invite students over to his house when they were stuck in Oswego for the Jewish holidays.

Dr. Weinstein also taught me that one person could make a difference, which is exactly how he lived his life. He encouraged me to stand up for what I believed in.

Another federal judge tells IRS to explain itself on lost emails

IRS attorneys will be even busier than normal next week, because another federal judge has told them to show up in court July 11 to defend the federal tax agency.

They will have to explain to U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton why the IRS shouldn’t be required to let an outside expert evaluate whether emails on the computer hard drives of former IRS official Lois Lerner and six colleagues really are lost forever, as the agency recently told Congress.

Responding to a motion filed Monday by True the Vote, a Houston-based conservative nonprofit at the center of IRS targeting during the 2010 and 2012 campaigns, Walton issued an order Tuesday to hear arguments next week.

to and from Lerner and the others to and from people in other federal agencies, including the White House.

But True the Vote wants a digital forensics expert from outside the IRS to assess the evidence.

“Even if the ill-timed hard drive ‘crash’ was truly an accident, and even if the IRS genuinely believes that the emails are ‘unrecoverable,’ the circumstances of the spoliation at issue cry out for a second opinion,” True the Vote’s attorneys told Walton in the motion filed late Monday.

“It may well prove to be the case that a computer forensics expert could recover evidence that the IRS has been unable to retrieve.

“At the very least, such an expert could preserve whatever evidence has not already been wiped clean from the IRS’s computers along with whatever is stored on the Individual Defendants’ home computers, cell phones, and other PDAs.”

IRS attorneys will be in the federal District Court on July 10 to explain why the government failed to tell Judicial Watch about the lost emails for months despite their being evidence in the nonprofit’s Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

Judicial Watch, a government watchdog nonprofit, filed its lawsuit last October after IRS officials failed to respond adequately to a May 2013 FOIA request for the Lerner emails.

The government asked Walton on Monday night to dismiss the motion for an outside digital forensics expert. But True the Vote argued that merely asking for the dismissal “does not give them carte blanche to destroy or permit the destruction of documents and discoverable information that are relevant to the IRS Targeting Scheme in general and the application of True the Vote for exempt status.

“If the IRS’s public statements about ‘recycling’ Ms. Lerner’s hard drive are true, that alone establishes spoliation of evidence that violates federal statutes and regulations, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and professional ethics and responsibility.

“These statements, coupled with the refusal of Defendants’ counsel, to provide any assurances about what has been and will be done to preserve evidence underscore the need for the relief that True the Vote seeks.”

An IRS spokesman has been asked for comment on True the Vote’s motion and the July 11 court date.

Officials at Lackland Air Force Base have told Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar that among the wave of illegal immigrants flooding the Texas border from Central America; “… one-third of young girls that come across – and they were just like little babies; 10, 11, 14 years of age – get raped and/or abused on the way…”

Do you hear that President Obama? How about you, Congresswoman Pelosi? Little girls being raped and abused because they’ve been lured to the border by your policies, your lack of border enforcement, your rhetoric, speeches, and failure to uphold the Constitution?

That’s right. The blood and innocence of little girls – dragged through the Central American and Mexican desert – starved, raped, abused and traumatized for life is directly on your heads. And for what? To move forward your “Immigration Reform” – aka: Amnesty – at any cost?

To win some elections? So millions of illegal immigrants living here and south of the border can be legalized for cheap labor for years to come? To suppress all American Middle-class wages for your campaign benefactors? Poor souls with their hands out and their votes to follow?

You disgust me.

CBS reports (um, not Fox News, not me, not Rush, not conservatives – but the Dan Rather Network – reports) that Congressman Cuellar also says Customs and Border Patrol agents discovered a disturbing trend of adults “renting” children in Central America in order to increase their chances of being able to stay in the U.S. once they cross over.

“… Psst – hey little chica – you want to go to Disney Land? Come with me, all you gotta do is hop a moving death train for a few thousand miles, get raped by a few dirty Pedophilstas and the great Black Jesus President Obama says you can stay there with Hannah Montana and Princess Jasmine!”

That’s the message to Central America and you know it. So what if a few of them lose an arm or a leg falling off a train or die of heat stroke in the desert? It’s worth it – right? To turn Texas blue? To fundamentally change this nation?

Republicans who are enabling this:

(CNSNews.com) – Gary Harrington, the Oregon man convicted of collecting rainwater and snow runoff on his rural property surrendered Wednesday morning to begin serving his 30-day, jail sentence in Medford, Ore.

“I’m sacrificing my liberty so we can stand up as a country and stand for our liberty,” Harrington told a small crowd of people gathered outside of the Jackson County (Ore.) Jail.

Several people held signs that showed support for Harrington as he was taken inside the jail.

Harrington was found guilty two weeks ago of breaking a 1925 law for having, what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property. He was convicted of nine misdemeanors, sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined over $1500 for collecting rainwater and snow runoff on his property.

The Oregon Water Resources Department, claims that Harrington has been violating the state’s water use law by diverting water from streams running into the Big Butte River.

But Harrington says he is not diverting the state’s water — merely collecting rainwater and snow melt that falls or flows on his own property.

Harrington has vowed to continue to fight the penalty, stating that the government has become “big bullies” and that “from here on in, I’m going to fight it.”

“They’ve just gotten to be big bullies and if you just lay over and die and give up, that just makes them bigger bullies,” Harrington said in an interview two weeks ago with CNSNews.com.

“We as Americans, we need to stand on our constitutional rights, on our rights as citizens and hang tough. This is a good country, we’ll prevail,” he said.

His release is expected in early September

A crowd of 300 angry protestors forced three buses carrying 140 undocumented migrant children and their parents to turn around in Murrieta, California, on Tuesday after they blocked the road.

The dramatic confrontation between the flag waving protestors and the Homeland Security buses came one day after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to resist the federal government’s plan to transfer the Central American migrants to California to ease overcrowding of facilities along the Texas-Mexico border.

Holding up banners that said ‘Return to Sender’ and suggesting the children should be sent to the White House instead, the irate protestors succeeded when the buses turned around and headed to a customs and border facility in San Diego – within sight of Mexico.

“Isn’t that a great idea. I’ve beensaying since this story broke that we should divide all these illegal immigrants up and start shipping them to the homes of the Leftist/Marxist/Socialist Democrats who are wringing their hands over these people. Let THEM take care of them; feed them, suffer their illnesses, educate them, etc., etc., etc..” JB

The illegal immigrants had been flown from Texas to California on Tuesday and arrived at 2pm to face many Murrieta residents furiously protesting the processing of the migrants to the Riverside County city US Customs and Border Protection facility.

It was the first flight planned for California under the federal government’s effort to ease the crunch in the Rio Grande Valley and deal with the flood of Central American children and families fleeing to the United States.

Ex-Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official Lois Lerner spoke at a 2010 government conference where Lerner’s underling Nikole Flax announced the new IRS program scrutinizing groups applying for tax-exempt status.

Both Lerner and Flax experienced “computer crashes” that led to the permanent deletion of their emails, according to the IRS, which said it cannot hand over their emails to congressional investigators on two House committees.

Both Lerner and Flax briefed fellow government bureaucrats on the new targeting at the conference, where Lerner appeared at a workshop called “Will the IRS Come Knocking?”

Flax announced the new program scrutinizing groups at the Washington Non-Profit Legal & Tax Conference at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. from February 18-19, 2010. At the time, Flax worked under Lerner in the Exempt Organizations office.

Lerner gave a luncheon speech at a morning session featuring workshops entitled “Current Developments Affecting Exempt Organizations” and “Will the IRS Come Knocking? What You Need To Know About IRS Audit Plans And Practices For Tax Exempts,” which was moderated by Washington lawyer and former IRS exempt director Marcus S. Owens. Lerner served as “government faculty” for the conference, according to a program obtained by The Daily Caller.

Flax, a frequent White House visitor, announced that 155 new employees were recently added to the Exempt Organizations office, and said that 100 of these employees would be working in the examinations office to audit nonprofit groups. Flax also announced the addition of new Washington-based “tax law specialists” to work on private-letter rulings for groups that would need renewal of their charitable tax-exempt status.

“They basically have to start over,” Flax said about groups coming up on a newly imposed three-year deadline for charitable tax status. “In the interim period, there obviously will be tax issues.”

The IRS began flagging tea party applications in February 2010, the month of the Washington conference.

“The Conference addresses all issues of relevance to non-profit organizations, including the latest developments. The focus is also on practical information that can be put to use with an immediate impact,” according to a promotional description of the event. Rooms at the conference valued at $479 per night were available to government employees on a group plan at $239.

Flax went on to serve as chief of staff to IRS commissioner Steven T. Miller.

Flax made 31 visits to the White House between July 12, 2010 and May 8, 2013, according to White House visitor logs. Flax’s visits started in the early days of the IRS targeting program and ended just two days before the IRS scandal broke on May 10, 2013. Flax met twice in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with Jeanne Lambrew, a top adviser to President Obama who exchanged confidential information on conservative groups with Lerner.

Gloreatha “Glo” Scurry-Smith, who is running in the Florida GOP primary to take on Rep. Corrine Brown (D) in November, recently experienced a very disturbing case of racial discrimination.

On Sunday, Smith tweeted a picture of a vandalized campaign sign, in which her face was covered in white spray paint:

Smith, who says her husband found the sign in Jacksonville, Florida, told National Review that she “expect[ed] signs to be tampered with or stolen, but not to this extent.”

“Throughout this entire incident, I go back to Martin Luther King’s comment that we look forward to a time when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character,” Smith added. “I’ve got too much work to focus on to be bothering with things like this.”

Brown said regarding the incident that “to be talking about signs is ludicrous to me — and you know, and whatever happened was unfortunate but I personally do not get involved in campaigning months in advance.”

Smith has spoken to numerous local media outlets and posted the following messages on her Facebook page after an initial post about the photo:

Her primary opponent, Thuy Lowe, condemned the vandalism.

“I was shocked by this,” Lowe told National Review. “There have been some comments out there that this may have been caused by bigotry. This is a message that she is an African American woman who is a Republican and therefore has a white point of view.”

In keeping with his “pen and a phone” theory of unilateral executive power, President Obama has announced that he intends to issue an executive order concerning federal protection of those who ascribe to a different “gender identity” than that assigned at birth.

The executive order will ban any discrimination by federal contractors on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The move is likely a nod to the homosexual and transgender communities during “LGBT pride month.”

In 2012, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled that federal bans on discrimination also protected transgendered people.

In April, Sarah Vestal, a man who identifies as a woman who works for the Treasury Department, told the Huffington Post, “It would help eliminate the structural discrimination. Transgender people in the federal government are pulling their hair out.”

The president has made broad use of his claimed power to issue executive orders on a wide range of issues. On Monday, the president also announced he would act unilaterally on immigration reform issues without the consent of Congress.

Billings Gazette: “Sometimes, you have to admit you’re wrong. And, we were wrong.”

“Sometimes, you have to admit you’re wrong,” The Billings Gazette said about its 2008 endorsement of Barack Obama. “And, we were wrong. We said that things couldn’t get much worse after the sub par presidency of George W. Bush,” the paper wrote in an apologetic editorial on Friday.

The Montana and Wyoming newspaper says that after endorsing the Democrat president in 2008, it now “has us yearning for the good ol’ days when we were at least winning battles in Iraq.”

The paper begins by stating that Obama has earned “every bit” of his “abysmal” approval ratings, referring to the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal polls that “show that Americans are giving Obama lower marks than in 2006 when Iraq was going poorly for Bush and a tepid response to Hurricane Katrina sunk Bush’s ratings.”

“Obama’s hope and change have left liberals and conservatives alike hoping for real change, not just more lofty rhetoric.”

The lengthy op-ed goes on to provide a detailed laundry list of Obama regime failures that have led to its change of heart, including its NSA spying, its attacks against American energy, the “civil war” in Iraq, the Bergdahl exchange that released five top terrorists, and the VA scandal. Mysteriously, the piece fails to mention the IRS scandal, in which Americans were targeted for their political beliefs, and the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, in which four Americans were left to die while the Obama and Clinton machines lied repeatedly about what caused the attacks.

“In fact, the Obama administration has become so opaque and difficult that it has earned the reputation of being far worse than Nixon, the disgraced president whose terrible clampdown of information led to federal law being changed for more transparency.”

After blasting Obamacare as being synonymous with the word “boondoggle,” The Gazette says that when combined with the multiple other massive self-imposed problems, its “a disturbing trend of incompetence and failure.”

“By every economic measure, we are better off now than we were when I took office. You wouldn’t know it, but we are,” the president said Friday.

That’s right, the president — the president of the United States, mind you — says Americans are better off, they just don’t know it.

That is the height to which the president has raised his level of mendacity. He has the sheer audacity to tell Americans that he has successfully turned the economy around, that things are all good, but that there are no real quantifiable indicators by which they could ever know that.

In fact, Mr. Obama says Americans have never had it so good.

“Over the past 51 months, our businesses have created 9.4 million new jobs,” he said at a feel-good stop in Minnesota. “Our housing market is rebounding. Our auto industry is booming. Our manufacturing sector is adding jobs for the first time since the 1990s. We’ve made our tax code fairer. We’ve cut our deficits by more than half. More than 8 million Americans have signed up for private insurance plans through the Affordable Care Act.”

Of course, as usual with the president, none of that is true. In 2007, there were 146.6 million Americans employed. Last month, there were 145.7 million people in the workforce. But it’s all worse than that. The labor force participation rate dropped more than 3 percentage points, which equals nearly 8 million people. Now, just 62.8 percent of working-age Americans hold jobs, a dismal number that’s the lowest in 35 years.

What’s more, Candidate Obama (is he ever anything else?) promised an unemployment rate of 5 percent as the impetus to pass his $1 trillion stimulus plan. While his minions now cooking the books claim the rate is 6.3 percent, millions of Americans have simply fallen out of the workforce — disappeared. The number of “underemployed” — those who want to work full time but can find only a part-time job — is 16 percent, Gallup says.

Meanwhile, home sales nationwide have fallen 5 percent versus last year, according to the National Association of Realtors. The

Washington Post, one of the most Obama-friendly newspapers in the country, recently offered this headline: “Two charts that show why the housing market is off track.” Right now, home sales are running at 2010 levels.

The number of employees in the auto industry, while rising, is still below those in 2008. That year, there were 880,000 workers in auto manufacturing; today, there are 850,000. Dealers are also down from 1.83 million to 1.82 million. Not bad, but not good — not even treading water.

On the deficit, Mr. Obama fudges the numbers as only he can. He ran a $1 trillion-plus deficit each of his first three years in office. Then in fiscal year 2013, that dropped to $680 billion (so roughly a 32 percent drop). His “cut our deficits by more than half” comes from comparing that number to the deficit he inherited when he took office, $1.4 trillion. He’ll surpass $5 trillion in debt this year, but to him, it’s all good.

Most astute Americans know the Obamacare numbers are absurd. But Mr. Obama also words the claim carefully, as skilled liars often do.

“More than 8 million Americans have signed up for private insurance plans through the Affordable Care Act.” While no administration official has ever provided proof of that claim, millions were forced out of their insurance plans. Get it? “Signed up”?

One thing Mr. Obama didn’t mention in Minnesota was the brand new number released on the gross domestic product, a key indicator on the state of the U.S. economy. Obama economic gurus had predicted 2.6 percent growth in the first three months of 2014. When they released a preliminary number, those gurus said the economy had grown by 0.1 percent. When they revised the number last month, it had become a 1.1 percent contraction. And last week, the final number came out: The economy contracted by 2.9 percent.

So despite Mr. Obama’s lofty claims, the economy has done — nothing. In fact, it’s all getting worse — and Americans know it.

Still, he plans events next week pushing the economy and his policies. And there’s only one reason: It’s election time. Maybe Democrats can borrow the president’s brilliant words as their slogan this midterm election: “You’re Better Off, You Just Don’t Know It.”

It certainly will be the epitaph of this miserably failed president.

It’s what happens when the media and academic elites challenge the very core of your existence. When they wage war on everything- from tradition to values to principles to the founding documents. When they fight to fundamentally transform America. Sound familiar? Of course it does. It’s what President Obama said he would do, and is doing.

The first thing to go is your confidence. It is tied to your resolve. To your belief. To your very existence. Confidence lies at the heart of everything. And so added to the wars fought to change America is the battle to remove confidence in the American people, and

Think about it.

It takes confidence to be an individual and not conform.
It takes confidence to be patriotic.
It takes confidence to have faith.
It takes confidence to be politically incorrect.
It takes confidence to not care what others think.
It takes confidence to not believe the government is your anchor.
It takes confidence to have conviction.
It takes confidence to be a man, and not a ~~pussy~~ coward.

I’ve seen it firsthand in Europe. Conformity is a virtue. Fitting in, not standing out, not being too loud, just believing in polite nothings- it’s common. That’s why Europe doesn’t do greatness anymore.

It is what has always differentiated America from Europe;

Made it unique.
Made it indispensable.
Made it exceptional.
The engine of American exceptionalism has been American’s belief in their own exceptionalism.
It’s the batteries in the remote control. Without it, their secret ingredient is gone. And they shrug their way to Belgium.

Is America going to permit a situation where Christians have no voice within their own culture?

America stands at a crossroads. The country must decide. Is America going to be a nation of bullies, forcing conformity while calling it tolerance?

The Mexican government warned Friday that a vehicle containing radioactive material has been stolen, and issued a dire warning to the thieves against taking the potentially deadly material from its protective container.

The substance “can be dangerous for human health if removed from its container,” the officials said in a statement, adding that the material can be lethal even if handled for only a brief time.

The theft in Mexico state prompted officials to issue an alert throughout the capital region and in neighboring states.

Last year a truck carrying deadly Cobalt-60 was stolen and in June armed gunmen raided a research facility near Mexico City making off with a device containing Cesium-137.
