It’s been only a day since the bombings in Brussels, and the New York Times has issued a warning. No – it isn’t a warning of ISIS carrying out more attacks. It was a warning to reject the rhetoric of Donald Trump. As the Washington Examiner reported:
The New York Times editorial board responded to a wave of terror attacks that washed over Brussels early Tuesday morning by begging its readers to reject the rhetoric of billionaire businessman Donald Trump.
The appropriate response to the attacks, which have so far claimed the lives of 34 people, is “courage and steadfastness in the face of a threat that will take many years to eliminate,” the board wrote.
“It emphatically does not mean hysterical fearmongering of the sort promptly voiced by politicians like Donald Trump,” they added.
Call it “hysterical fearmongering” all you want – but he’s the only candidate who’s actually offered solutions in response to the attacks. Isn’t it liberals who mock conservatives for praying after tragedies instead of taking action to prevent them?
Good morning everyone.
To those that knew about my health crisis, thank you for your prayers. For those that didn’t, I got home late yesterday. Here is the explanation;
It really started 6 months ago. Had my quarterly doctor’s appointment, and all my lab numbers were great. I was feeling great, and both the doctor and I were very happy and encouraged that my diet and exercise were working. My next quarterly appointment in December cause us all a lot of concern. My lab numbers where good, except that they showed I was very anemic, and my Iron was very low. I was not feeling good, constantly feeling weak, and thought that my vertigo was getting worse. A week before my doctor’s appointment, I had passed out going to the front door to respond to someone there. I have no idea how long was out, and when I came too, I was unable to move anything and was very disassociated. The rest of that day I felt weak and dizzy, but the next day I felt great. Christmas came and went with no problems, and my dizziness I just wrote off as vertigo. During this period I was also having a lot of pain across my diaphragm at night, and was very constipated. My waste was very dry and black when I could have a bowl movement.
My doctor was angry that I had not gone to the hospital, and ordered a bunch of test. They included several EKG’s, wearing a heart monitor for 48 hours, having a detailed ultrasound of my stomach, plus other test yet to me performed, one being an upper EG scan. The ultrasound told them my Liver is enlarged and I was having distress in my upper GI tract.
Last Friday I woke up feeling very dizzy and weak as if I were getting the flu. It got worse throughout the day. About 4:15, I went in to take my shower, and passed out in the shower. when I woke up I was very disoriented like the first time, and was shaking badly. Yes, I was not the man of faith I thought I was. I was very afraid. Based on what was on FOX NEWS CHANNEL, I had been out 15 to 20 minutes. I was alone in the apartment. I finished my shower sitting down, dried myself and got dress.
I called Jill (who had gone to the doctor) to see when she was coming home. I told her what happened, and she call out son, who came over to be with me until she got home. He drove us to the VA Hospital in Long Beach. They found I had blood in my stool, and was more anemic than my blood test before my doctor’s appointment. My EKG was normal, so they believed that I was bleeding someone in my stomach, and or, my GI tract. (I had a Colonoscopy November 2013 – 6 polyps). They admitted me.
Later that night, while going to the bathroom, I passed out again. That morning they started giving me fluids, and from Saturday through Sunday, they gave me four units of blood just to get my blood levels in the normal range. They had my fasting 100% because they knew they would have to do a EG scan (the scope down the throat into the stomach and small intestines). I was fasted for over 48 hours. During that time they gave me special medication through the IV designed to coat my stomach and stop the bleeding.
Monday, about noon, they put me out and did the scan of my stomach and upper GI. I indeed did have an ulcer about the size of a quarter in my stomach, but no other place. The medication had stopped the bleeding so they did not need to cauterize the ulcer. After having food, and tracking my blood count, I was giving the news that I could go home. Got home yesterday late afternoon.
PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS HEALING HANDS UPON ME.
Now for the reason for the ulcer, and they suspected this before the scan. For years I have been taking NSAIDs for pain (NSAIDs are Advil – IBUPROFEN – and related pain relievers, like Naproxen). Not one doctor ever told me that NSAIDs eat away at your stomachs lining causing ulcers and bleeding. None of them ever told me you need to take these with food to lessen the corrosive effects. Some of you know the ongoing battle I have had with my back. Because NSAIDs are great for reducing inflammation, they have been the most effective for my back and arthritis.
I am still very weak. It will take time to build my system back up. As I am typing this I am feeling like I went to lay down and take a nap. That brings me to the next reason for writing this to everyone;
If you are taking NSAIDs and didn’t know the effects on your stomach, please use my experience to save you the same crisis I just had. Please pass this along to those you know about NSAIDs.
Thank you for your patience in reading my long letter. Thank you again for those that have prayed, and thank you for your continued prayers. May God’s richest blessings be yours and you by flooded with God Himself as you continue to walk with Jesus.
In His Service,

Representative Duncan Hunter (R-CA) recently claimed that a high-level Department of Homeland Security official informed him of the capture of at least ten Islamic State terrorists on the Texas-Mexico border. A DHS spokesperson speaking with the New Republic unequivocally denied the Congressman’s claims:
“The suggestion that individuals who have ties to ISIL have been apprehended at the Southwest border is categorically false, and not supported by any credible intelligence or the facts on the ground,” said DHS spokesperson Marsha Catron.
“DHS continues to have no credible intelligence to suggest terrorist organizations are actively plotting to cross the southwest border.”
But even the Islamic State has said they want to launch attacks directly on American soil and in recent weeks IS public relations arms on social media have urged followers to identify U.S. soldiers, track down their addresses and kill them and their families. Some reports of DHS chatter even suggest that America’s worst fears of a biological attack could be realized if IS militants infect themselves with Ebola or another deadly virus and deliver it to America in live hosts via the southern border.
And while Homeland Security has brushed off such threats and warnings as not credible, the border patrol agents being faced with thousands of undocumented immigrants attempting to cross into the United States daily have a completely different story to tell.
According to one agent who has chosen to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal, not only are they seeing scores of disease-ridden individuals being brought into the country, there is a real and present danger that members of terror organizations have already crossed into the United States.
Homeland Security and Obama Administration officials may categorically deny the claims, but this agent insists terrorist organizations are operating in Mexico and he says that he is aware of at least four Islamic State insurgents that have already been detained by the government:
A border patrol agent told the Examiner Wednesday evening that he knew of at least four ISIS insurgents that have been captured this past week.
“There could be more,” he said. “All I know is we (the border patrol agents) know what we see and do, even if the Feds don’t want to acknowledge it.”
“We have stepped up our searches on vehicles, under, over and all-around because we believe they may be trying to bring in explosive bombs and devices,” the agent said.
“Why would we be so cautious if the possibility was not there?”
The report comes on the heels of another whistleblower speaking out recently about the seriousness of the threat. In an interview for the documentary Back To The Border, insider Zach Taylor suggests that what’s happening in the south is a controlled event being facilitated by top-level officials.
The problem as I see it… and as apparently CDC, Health and Human Services, and Department of Homeland Security… are trying to make this a controlled situation.
They’re anticipating a large national crisis.
When you see that FEMA is preparing for 200 million deaths in the United States that tells you something.
When you see that the government is controlling the supply of ammunition and that basic medical supplies are in short supply in southern Arizona, something’s wrong.
They are anticipating something drastic.
The official position of the Homeland Security apparatus is that our southern border has never been as protected from external threats as it is today.
That, of course, is laughable, given the fact that literally thousands of migrants from unknown origins are crossing into the United States every single day including those carrying diseases, drug cartel gang members, and Other-Than-Mexican security threats.
It is only a matter of time before some of them sneak in carrying a deadly virus, a dirty bomb or other weapon of mass destruction.
And when that happens we’ll most certainly hear the oft repeated narrative of, “no one could have seen this coming or prepared for it.”
TEL AVIV – Russia has delivered a behind-the-scenes threat to retaliate if airstrikes carried out by the U.S. or its allies target the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Middle Eastern security officials told WND.
The security officials said Russia complained Sunday in quiet talks with United Nations representatives that the Obama administration’s current aerial campaign against Islamic State fighters in Syria is a violation of international agreements regarding control of Syrian airspace.
The officials said Russia warned it could potentially retaliate if U.S. or Arab airstrikes go beyond targeting Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, and instead bomb any Syrian regime targets.
The officials told WND they do not have any information about the seriousness of the Russian threat or whether Moscow meant it would retaliate directly or aid Assad’s air force in a military response.
The officials said Russian diplomats asserted terms regarding Syrian airspace were agreed upon last September as part of a sweeping deal to disarm Syria’s arsenal of chemical weapons by the middle of 2014.
At the time, the international community feared Assad could target chemical weapons inspectors acting in Syria. That fear in part lead to a deal in which Moscow says it was provided with significant responsibility over the skies of Syria, purportedly to insure against Assad’s air force acting against the international disarmament effort.
The officials further said that both the Russia and Iranian militaries are on heightened alert amid the ongoing situation in Syria.
On Saturday, U.S.-led coalition warplanes for the first time reportedly struck ISIS targets in Syria near the Turkish border as well as positions in the country’s east, according to activists and a Kurdish officials speaking to the Associated Press.
Nawaf Khalil, a spokesman for Syria’s Kurdish Democratic Union Party, or PYD, told the AP the strikes targeted Islamic State positions near the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani.
U.S.-coalition strikes also reportedly targeted a local ISIS headquarters in the northern Syrian town of Tel Abyad along the Turkish border, setting an oil refinery ablaze.
“Our building was shaking and we saw fire, some 60 meters (65 yards) high, coming from the refinery,” local businessman Mehmet Ozer told Time Magazine.
Time reported the strikes were also confirmed by the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and were reported by Turkey’s Dogan news agency.
Six weeks after he was declared dead, a Canadian in the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham resurfaced on video Thursday, vowing the terrorist group was preparing to bomb New York and fly its flag over the White House.
Interviewed from Iraq by the U.S. website Vice.com, Farah Mohamed Shirdon, a former Calgary movie theatre employee, appeared erratic and became increasingly enraged as he dished out threats and claimed God was on his side.
“God willing, we will make some attacks in New York soon, a lot of brothers are mobilizing there right now in the West, thanks to Allah,” he said. Smiling, he added they were “mobilizing for a brilliant attack, my friend.”
ISIS was conducting beheadings because “you attack one of us, we will attack one of you,” he said, adding, “We will stop when we behead the kuffar [disbelievers] and when we turn his children into our slaves.”
But as if to undermine his boasts, he said he was under attack “day and night” and would have to go, apparently because of yet another assault. Calling himself Abu Usamah, Mr. Shirdon was eulogized online by fellow terrorists in August but later returned to Twitter to say he had been injured but was alive.
He is one of several Somali-Canadians thought to have joined ISIS, prompting the Canadian Somali Congress’s Western branch to appeal for government help. A Hamilton, Ont. man presumed dead in ISIS was also a Somali-Canadian.
“No one recruited me. Actually no one spoke a single word to me. All I did, I opened the newspaper, I read the Koran. Very easy,” he said. Five days before he left, Canadian authorities interviewed him, he claimed. “All their intelligence workers are imbeciles,” he said, although he then named the FBI before correcting that it was the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.
The nephew of the former Prime Minister of Somalia, Mr. Shirdon has made grandiose threats before. After arriving in Iraq, he appeared in an ISIS video in which he burned his passport and threatened Canada and the U.S.
The departure of dozens of Canadian extremists to Syria and Iraq has prompted a crackdown by Ottawa, which has begun cancelling their passports, laying criminal charges and tracking them in case they attempt to return to Canada.
The government added ISIS to its list of outlawed terrorist organizations on Wednesday. The move makes it simpler to investigate, prosecute and deport those who have joined the group or who are otherwise supporting it.
