Merkel Drubbed At The Ballot Box As Surging Nationalists Declare: ‘People Voted AGAINST Her Migrant Policy’

Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) lost in two of three states in regional elections, and scored a historic low in its stronghold Baden-Wuerttemberg where it came in second place after the Greens, according to projections based on early results published by public broadcasters ARD and ZDF.

The populist Alternative for Germany (AfD), which had sparked outrage by suggesting police may have to shoot at migrants to stop them entering the country, recorded double-digit support in the first elections they have stood for in all three regions.

The elections are the biggest since Germany registered a record influx of refugees, and are largely regarded as a referendum on Merkel’s decision to open the country’s doors to people fleeing war.

Bild daily called Sunday’s polls “a day of horror for Chancellor Merkel” as the stunning popularity of the upstart AfD was a clear punishment for her policy.

“The people who voted for us voted against this refugee policy,” said AfD deputy chairman Alexander Gauland.

“We have a very clear position on the refugee issue: we do not want to take in any refugees,” he declared.RAPEUGEES

AfD is projected to garner close to one in every four votes in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt — making it the second biggest political force there after the CDU.

In Baden-Wuerttemberg, the populists are credited with almost 15 percent, displacing Merkel’s CDU’s junior coalition partner Social Democratic Party (SPD) as the third biggest party.

In the southwestern region of Rhineland-Palatinate, AfD also came in third, although the SPD and the CDU had substantial leads.

Nevertheless, asked if Merkel should now overhaul her refugee policy, the CDU’s general secretary Peter Tauber said: “I don’t see that need.” Likewise, Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said the grand left-right coalition government would stand firm on its immigration stance.

“We have a clear position on refugee policies and we stand by that,” said the SPD leader.

– ‘This party hurts our country’ –

Germans had watched in growing alarm as 1.1 million asylum seekers arrived in the country in 2015 alone. Despite facing intense pressure to change course, Merkel has resolutely refused to impose a cap on arrivals, insisting instead on common European action that includes distributing refugees among the EU’s 28 member states.

She reiterated her point on Thursday, insisting that imposing a limit on refugee numbers was merely a “short-term pseudo-solution”, and that the only measure that would sustainably bring numbers down was a “concerted European approach”.Leftist Propagandist

As dissent has grown over her stance, AfD has capitalised on the darkening mood. Founded in 2013 as an anti-euro party, AfD has since morphed into an anti-migrant outfit.

Welcoming Sunday’s outcome, AfD party leader Frauke Petry insisted that “we have competency and have not only spoken about migration policies in our election campaign”, but she conceded that that “was the theme for all parties and the people because it is such an emotional issue.”

Although the upstart party has seats in five regional parliaments and is represented in the European Parliament, it has so far made its biggest gains in former communist eastern states that still lag behind western Germany in jobs and prosperity. But its inroads into western states have sparked alarm in a Germany mindful of its Nazi past.

On the eve of the vote, Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere joined calls from both the political mainstream as well as civic and religious groups, urging the electorate to shun AfD.

“AfD has no political programme and no capacity to resolve problems,” he told Die Welt daily on Saturday. “We must make it clear — this party hurts our country.”Leftist Propagandist

Merkel herself described AfD as a “party that does not bring cohesion in society and offers no appropriate solutions to problems, but only stokes prejudices and divisions”.Leftist Propagandist

She has also shrugged them off as a temporary diversion saying that once her government’s policies show results on reducing migrant numbers, “I’m convinced that from there, the support that AfD is enjoying right now will drop off.”Leftist Propagandist

Macedonia reveals plans to build 200 mile long fence on its border with Greece protected by guards armed with Tasers ahead of EU summit on how to deal with the migrant crisis

waving flagBy John Stevens Brussels Correspondent For The Daily Mail

Dramatic plans to build a 200 mile long fence protected by guards armed with Tasers were tonight revealed before a key summit in Brussels to stop the flow of migrants through the continent. EU leaders will tomorrow pledge to close down the route from Greece through the Balkans where more than 985,000 have travelled since the start of last year.

Ahead of the meeting, Macedonia has requested that neighbouring countries help it seal the thoroughfare by extending the existing 19-mile razor-wire fence on its southern border with Greece and providing extra guards and riot gear.

Migrants have previously tried to break through the existing fence on the Greek-Macedonia border, pictured

The former Yugoslav republic, which is not a member of the EU, has sent a list of demands including bullet-proof vests, truncheons, handcuffs, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and grenades filled with rubber balls. Officials in Skopje have also asked for 35 tasers and a sound cannon that would be fitted to an armoured vehicle and used to break up crowds by emitting a pain-inducing noise.

Around 14,000 people are currently stuck on the Greek side of the border at Idomeni after Macedonian authorities started limiting the number of people they would let through to just a few hundred a day. There have been violent clashes at the crossing in the past week with a crowd of chanting migrants trying to force their way through the border fence using a metal sign post as a battering ram.

Macedonia today imposed further restrictions only allowing Syrians from parts of the country they consider to be at war to enter. It means people from cities such as Aleppo could cross, but those from the capital of Damascus would be stopped.

At an emergency summit tomorrow in Brussels, aimed at saving the EU’s passport-free travel zone, Schengen, all 28 leaders, including David Cameron, will sign up to a plan to stop migrants arriving on the Greek islands from Turkey being ‘waved through’ the continent.

Leaked draft conclusions for the meeting seen by the Mail show that they will agree that ‘irregular flows of migrants along the Western Balkans route are coming to an end… this route is now closed’. They will also pledge to ‘provide further assistance to Greece in managing the external borders, including those with Macedonia and Albania’.

Macedonian soldiers, pictured, have been used to guard the crossing and the country's government has asked for more Tasers and a sound canon to break up large crowds

The EU’s border agency Frontex will ask for countries to supply more guards and Europol will send officers to screen arrivals on the Greek islands.

The leaders, who will be joined by Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu for part of the meeting, will also sign off a plan agreed on Friday for Turkey to take back all economic migrants that cross the Aegean Sea. According to the draft conclusions, the leaders will say they ‘stand by Greece in this difficult moment and will do their utmost to help manage the situation that has arisen’.

Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras said his country would demand an immediate relocation of some of the 30,000 migrants stranded there and will call for sanctions for countries inside the Schengen Zone that refuse.

With thousands more arriving from Turkey every day, the numbers could swell by 100,000 by the end of this month, EU migration commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos projected on Saturday.

Mr Tsipras said that in facing a potential flow of millions of migrants, the EU is feeling the consequences of ‘unreasonable … imperialistic interventions’ in the Middle East that have destroyed organised states, an apparent reference to Iraq and Syria.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, pictured, has demanded the immediate relocation of some of the 30,000 migrants currently stranded in Greece and wants sanctions for Schengen Zone countries that refuse

He accused Austria and the Balkan countries of ‘ruining Europe’ by slowing the flow of migrants heading north from Greece.

‘Europe is in a nervous crisis,’ Mr Tsipras told his left-wing Syriza party’s central committee. Will a Europe of fear and racism overtake a Europe of solidarity?’Leftist Propagandist

He said central European countries with declining populations and low unemployment could benefit in the long term by taking in millions of refugees, but said austerity policies have fed a far-right ‘monster’ opposing the inflows.

‘Europe today is crushed amidst austerity and closed borders. It keeps its border open to austerity but closed for people fleeing war,’ he said. ‘Countries, with Austria in the front, want to impose the logic of fortress Europe.’

Hitting back at criticism by eastern European states over Greece’s failure to stem migrant flows, Mr Tsipras questioned the wisdom of admitting these countries into the EU a decade ago.

BLEEDING HEART JOURNALIST: Enters Muslim ‘NO GO’ Zone, Now Something Else Is Bleeding

waving flagWritten by Wes Walker on October 28, 2015

A few more stories like this one, and we can safely say  that Sweden will no longer be that poster child for why Socialism is the better way forward. Scratch that: actually, a few more stories like this one, and Sweden might no longer exist. It all started simply enough: with wrong-headed Progressive assumptions.cause of death

In this instance, some neighborhoods were chucking rocks at police. One journalist applied the modern journalistic methods to the situation: find out who wronged them so badly that they have taken to chucking rocks. Naturally, they must have a reason — right? It’s just a matter of hearing their side of the story.

That is the story for which Ms. Valentina Xhaferi went looking. She found it.

In the middle of one of Stockholm’s “no-go” zones, she found one resident willing to discuss that “other side of the story” on camera. They met in the agreed-on public space, and set up for filming.

A passer-by asked why they were filming, and was told. So he grabbed a few friends. And a few rocks. Things turned ugly pretty quickly. She wanted to get away. They hurled insults, splashed the cameraman with coffee, kicked over their equipment, which they caught on film.  She tried reason.  “It was impossible to calm them down. I pulled back and tried to calm down everyone, while trying to get my colleague and myself out of there.”

Then someone chucked a stone.

They finished the report a week later … this time with police escort.

In relating her story, she unwittingly identified what’s really happening here.  “They thought we crossed the limit and that we were standing on their land.”Picture3

RAPEUGEESNowhere in the story does it mention identifying characteristics of this “foreign born” community. But we are told that this particular “no-go” zone consists of upwards of 70% “foreign-born” residents. (Statistics tell us that some 40,000 people live within Tensta, a suburb of Stockholm.) Other zones actually boast nearly 100% foreign-born residents.

It wasn’t hard to find which reports she was seeking the “other side”. Police claims that lone squad cars won’t even pursue criminals into certain neighborhoods. Swedish law simply doesn’t apply there. Shariah is enforced, instead.

There are, police estimate, 55 “no-go” zones in Sweden. They are by no means the only European country that has them. And remember: that was before the wave of humanity began spilling into Europe.

Is it genuinely “compassionate” to have areas of a city where the rule of law is not enforced, and not enforceable? And to whom are the adjudicators of Sharia, themselves, accountable?OH HELL NO

It’s time we stop wringing our hands about Islamophobia, and start addressing the real Xenophobia that’s making these supposed “no-go” neighborhoods unsafe for locally-born “outsiders”.

British Children’s HW Assignment: ‘CONVERT TO ISLAM’

waving flagWritten by Bethany Blankley, Feb 24, 2016

Before you read the following report, please keep in mind that if the Obama regime gets their way, what is happening in Britton WILL happen here in our public schools. Please read carefully and act accordingly with your voice and vote. – Jerry Broussard of WhatDidYouSay.orgAmerica Never Forget

Islam is NOTIn Guernsey, a town in one of the British Channel Island, junior high students at Les Beaucamp High School (equivalent to 7th grade in America) were given a bizarre “creative writing” homework assignment. They were asked to write to their parents explaining why they had converted to Islam.hell

The assignment asked:

“how becoming a pupil has changed your life [and] how much you love your family and hope they can accept your choice”.

Their teacher Amber Stables, claims the homework assignment was an example of “creative writing” and purely fictional. Nonetheless, she directed them to:

“Focus: How would it make you feel having to tell your parents this? How would/could they react?”

She added, the assignment was “purely to test your knowledge of what we have learnt this year and how well you can argue objectively!!!!”

Sadly, this type of education is widespread throughout the U.K., well beyond the Channel Islands.

Muslim children outnumber non-Muslim children throughout the U.K.

In cities throughout the UK: Bradford, Leicester, Luton in Bedfordshire, Slough in Berkshire, and the London boroughs of Newham, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets– nearly two-thirds of children are Islamic.

In 13 Birmingham public schools children are being taught “Christians lie” and “wives must have sex or go to hell.” Non-Muslim parents’ concerns have been ignored and the Department of Education Superintendent insists the Islamization of its school system “is not a police matter.”

Consider how 14-year-old girls are treated in the U.K.: Muslim leader Mohammed Shahid Akhtar, the Imam of Birmingham’s Central Jamia Masjid Ghamkol Sharif Mosque, argues child marriage must be enforced.

Upon learning a teenager did not want to be married Akhtar said, “She’s 14. By Sharia, grace of Allah, she’s legal to get married.” Likewise, Sheikh Maulana Abu Sayeed, president of the Islamic Sharia Council in Britain, explains men who rape their wives should not be prosecuted because “sex is part of marriage.”RAPEUGEES

Not to mention the sex-trafficking ring of nearly 2,000 children in Oxfordshire– where girls as young as 11 were being raped, drugged and held against their will in care homes (public housing) and later forced to have abortions.

British public officials did nothing because they didn’t want to be labeled as “racist” or “Islamaphobic” because all of the perpetrators were Muslim men.

The Birmingham City Council suppressed information for 23 years of a sex trafficking operation targeting children specifically linked to Muslim cab drivers.OH HELL NO

Numerous incidents continue. But safeguarding British citizens will only happen after they demand accountability from their government. Protesting, knocking officials out of office, running for office, filing law suits, all may help. But they must demand that their political and legal systems eliminate Shari’a councils. They must demand that their prisons place safeguards for incarcerated non-Muslims who are bullied into conversion. And they must oppose their police departments’ inane attempt to become “culturally diverse” by hiring convicted criminals instead of prioritizing curtailing crime.

The U.K. has significant challenges ahead– especially if its children are being encouraged to convert to Islam as a creative writing homework assignment.

Four Arrested in Spain, Morocco for Alleged Islamic State Ties — Including Former Gitmo Detainee

MADRID (AP) — Spanish and Moroccan police on Tuesday arrested four suspected members of a jihadi cell that sought to recruit fighters for the Islamic State group, including one described as a former Guantanamo detainee who once fought with militants in Afghanistan.

Three people were arrested in Spain’s North African enclave city of Ceuta while a Moroccan was arrested in the Moroccan border town of Farkhana, next to Melilla, Spain’s other North African enclave, statements from the two nations’ interior ministries said.

One of those detained in Ceuta was the former Guantanamo detainee who was not named by Spanish authorities but described as “a leader who was trained in handling weapons, explosives and in military tactics.” After being captured in 2002 and held in Guantanamo, he was returned to Spain in 2004, said Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz.

Another suspect was the brother of a fighter who blew himself up during an attack in Syria and man detained Tuesday “was inclined to do the same thing,” he said.

The suspects had set up contacts to try to acquire weapons and bomb-making materials and were aiming “to carry out terrorist acts in Spanish territory,” the Spanish ministry statement said, without specifying possible targets. They also worked to recruit teenagers from Ceuta to join IS in Iraq and Syria, the Spanish statement said.

Spanish police arrested about 100 suspected Islamic extremists last year and more than 600 total since the 2004 train bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people and injured nearly 2,000.

Down Under: Muslims ‘incompatible with Australian values’

As it turns out, maybe the urge to place Muslim immigration on at least a temporary cease and desist order may also span the world’s largest ocean. Case in point would be candidate Kirralie Smith of the Australian Liberty Alliance (ALA) Party, who both Sky News Australia and also Morocco World News, both on Feb 21, 2016, have reported that she’s running on a campaign of clamping down on Muslim immigration as well as radical Islamists already in-country.

Smith is the party’s candidate for the Federal Senate from her home state of New South Wales (NSW). As she plainly states on the ALA official website, her clarion call interestingly mirrors the same voter revolt taking place here in the United States.

Possibly channeling the spirit of Donald Trump, the clearly fed-up wife, mother and small businesswoman stated, “It is time for us to have Senators and Ministers in government who can represent mainstream, conservative Australia. We need real people with real life experiences who can relate to and understand the real concerns of Australians. At present we have an over-representation of party-machined, cookie-cut, career politicians who are unable to genuinely understand the people they claim to represent.”

Smith is steadfast in her party’s platform of Australia instituting a 10-year moratorium on resident visa applications from nationals of the 56 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). As the Senate hopeful clarified in a recent interview with Sky News, Muslim culture is “not compatible to our democratic values of freedom.” Islam is NOT

Echoing a perspective she shares with kindred spirits in The States, Smith added, “Islam is more than a religion, it’s a totalitarian ideology with political ideology.” But she also clarified that neither she nor her party “have a problem with people who want to integrate,” but cited examples in Europe of Muslims forming enclaves, which she fears very well could happen in Australia.

Sweden Is Upgrading to Private Healthcare

Sweden’s Trademark Universal Healthcare On Its Deathbed

When leftists fantasize about Northern Europe, the first thing they think of is the region’s enormous public spending and its overly generous welfare state. However, as with all dreams, the time is coming to wake up. Along with several other social services, Sweden’s iconic “free” healthcare system’s days are numbered.

Sweden’s insurance trade industry organization, Svensk Försäkring reports:

The number of private health care insurance policies has increased in recent years. In 2011 about 440,000 people had private health care insurance. Most of these people have their policy paid by their employer.

SwedenPrivHealth

Additionally, The Local recently reported that nearly “One in ten Swedes now has private health insurance,” with rising policy demand extending to half a million Swedes and growing throughout the 9.5 million living in the country.

From The Local:

“It’s quicker to get a colleague back to work if you have an operation in two weeks’ time rather than having to wait for a year,” privately insured Anna Norlander told Sveriges Radio on Friday. “It’s terrible that I, as a young person, don’t feel I can trust the health care system to take care of me.”

The Local also reminds us that the Achilles heel of all socialist systems plagues the Swedish medical system, stating:

“Visitors are sometimes surprised to learn about year-long waiting times for cancer patients.”Complete Message

This is an unfortunate reality in an industry where suppliers cannot predict market prices for a service and therefore must ration, causing poor service and over-inflated demand. The only logical conclusion that one could derive from this situation is that demand for supplemental private insurance skyrockets because of the inadequate government healthcare system.

In the 1970s, Sweden began to replace its market economy with a socialist planned one. When that proved unaffordable in the 90s, Sweden then began to re-privatize industries and let economic laws of laissez faire capitalism begin to take root once more. Now, Sweden’s public spending has decreased nearly 20% in the last 20 years and its taxes are lower than France, Belgium, and Denmark.America are you paying attention

That’s not to say Sweden still doesn’t have a long way to go in restoring its social atmosphere. Sweden is still in many ways a cultural-Marxist hellscape and its restriction on owning firearms or other tools for self defense has earned it the title of “rape capital of the west.”

In any case, it was only a matter of time before the lies of left-wing politicians and the usual failures of socialist economic policies caused people to embrace the free market and entrepreneurship, hopefully this time for good.

Germany Finds Easy Way to Cut “Refugee” Crime… Liberals Outraged by Brutal Action

waving flagBy: Kim Smith on February 18, 2016

URL of the original posting site: http://conservativetribune.com/germany-to-cut-refugee-crime

Germany has found a fairly foolproof method of handling refugees and the crimes they commit, and it’s one that will have liberals everywhere screaming. They’re sending them back to Austria, and they’re not letting any more in. They’re also refusing anyone with a fake or stolen passport to cross borders. The northern Austrian town of Scharding was a popular crossing point for refugees, but now as many as 300 refugees per day are being refused entry to Germany, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

Germany has had to establish no-go areas, especially for women and children who have become afraid to leave their homes after refugees have committed multitudes of vicious crimes against them. To make matters worse, the government and media attempted to play down much of the crime committed by immigrants for political reasons.

But now it looks like they’ve had enough.

After spikes in crimes committed by refugees, Germany is now turning immigrants away, sending them back to wherever they came from.

europe

RAPEUGEES Same to usThe measure is embarrassing for Austrian Chancellor Werner Feyman, who insisted in October that allowing immigrants to cross the border would not be a problem. He couldn’t have been more wrong.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has also come under fire for welcoming immigrants into her country with no vetting process in place. She welcomed them with open arms and they have repaid her with nothing but violence and crime.different or same

This action needed to happen as many refugees have refused to assimilate into the cultures in which they have found themselves. When immigrants refuse to adopt basic Western hygiene habits and go around raping women and children, it’s time for them to go. It’s no wonder Germany didn’t decide to do this before now.RAPE

The United States should follow suit before we begin to see a similar wave of refugee crime.Picture13

Norway’s Caves House More Than Seeds

waving flagFebruary 19, 2016 By

In 2008, even before the dark ages of Obama, mankind was so concerned about the catastrophic effects of human-caused climate change that governments and scientific experts got together and launched a global network of storage facilities to house plants, sprouts and seeds of every possible kind on the planet.

These “seed banks” were placed in countries throughout the globe. But the central bank, called the Svalbard Global Seed Vault is located off Norway, a mere 600 miles from the North Pole. The central seed depository is some 500 feet beneath Norway’s permafrost and its entrance is both bomb and earthquake proof.

Although the Global Seed Vault is a man-made structure dug into a mountain on the Island of Svalbard north of Norway, it seems the country itself is alive with naturally occurring caves. These caves are a great place to store other things – like weapons and equipment.

Under the Surface of central Norway are six climate controlled caves totaling over 671,000 sq ft, capable of housing a wealth of military equipment. American equipment was first stored there starting in 1981, during the Cold War. It was the perfect place to house the equipment being that Norway shares a 122 mile border with the Ruskies.Caves

After the Cold War ended it was thought that perhaps the Norway caves would not be needed, but events over the last decades or more has seen the storage facilities play an integral role in the deployment of military equipment.

The caves, which house well over $400 million worth of Marines Corps battle tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, artillery and logistic equipment, serve as a major hub to provide materiel support for as many as 15,000 U.S. Marines throughout the globe. Equipment from the “caves of Norway have seen action in places as diverse as the deserts of Iraq and mountains of Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.”

For years the caves have been used to store equipment for use in NATO military “High North” Arctic Challenge exercises and it’s become increasingly important, given Russia’s recent provocative behavior. Arctic Challenge training scenarios include strike delivery against ground and airborne targets, simulated anti-air artillery combat, low-level flying and midair refueling.

In 2015, the defense ministers of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland issued a statement saying that “The Russian military are acting in a challenging way along our borders. We must be prepared to face possible crises or incidents.” Neither Sweden nor Finland is currently part of NATO – they are considered neutral countries, but Russian aggression is causing both to reconsider their neutrality.

More and more Swedes are pushing for membership after Russia decided to conduct unscheduled large-scale maneuvers in response to the 2015 Norway-led Arctic Challenge exercises in the High North. They deployed over 12,000 troops and 250 aircraft, compared to the 115 aircraft and 4,000 troops taking part in the Arctic Challenge. The Russians called the deployment “a massive surprise combat-readiness inspection.” Sure it was.

In response to Russia’s recent aggressive behavior, this years High North Arctic Challenge, dubbedCold Response 16will include some 6,500 pieces of equipment from the caves. The exercise will also include 12 NATO allies and partners and more than 16,000 troops.

Heather Conley, director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Europe Program, told CNN that “changes in the geopolitical landscape had once again made the caves a strategic asset.”

‘Islamic Rape Of Europe’: Polish Magazine Splashes ‘White Europa’ Girl Groped By Migrant Hands

waving flagby Oliver JJ Lane

One of Poland’s most popular weekly magazines has splashed a graphic depiction of the rape of Europe’s women by migrants on its front cover. The image may be one of the most politically incorrect illustrations of the migrant crisis to date.

While Poland is generally much more relaxed about expressing itself than the self censoring tendencies of western and northern Europe, the cover of the latest wSieci (The Network) conservative magazine has already prompted reaction just 24 hours after release, being beamed around the continent by social media.

Featuring a personification of Europa being pawed at by dark hands — what the German media would perhaps euphemistically term “southern” or “Mediterranean” — the headline decries the “Islamic Rape of Europe”.wSieci Islamic rape europe

Making perfectly clear the intention of the edition, the edition features articles titled ‘Does Europe Want to Commit Suicide?’ and ‘The Hell of Europe’. The news-stand blurb declares: “In the new issue of the weekly Network, a report about what the media and Brussels elite are hiding from the citizens of the European Union”.

Opening the cover article, Aleksandra Rybinska writes: “The people of old Europe after the events of New Year’s Eve in Cologne painfully realised the problems arising from the massive influx of immigrants. The first signs that things were going wrong, however, were there a lot earlier. They were still ignored or were minimised in significance in the name of tolerance and political correctness”.cause of death

Outlining the fundamental differences between eastern Islam and western Christianity — “culture, architecture, music, gastronomy, dress” — the editorial explains these two worlds have been at war “over the last 14 centuries” and the world is now witnessing a colossal “clash of two civilisations in the countries of old Europe”. This clash is brought by Muslims who come to Europe and “carry conflict with the Western world as part of the collective consciousness”, as the journalist marks the inevitability of conflict between native Europeans and their new guests.

wSieci Islamic rape europe 2

RAPE Same to usThe collapse of the West in the face of this “Islamic rape” was not inevitable though, as Rybinska quoted British historian Arnold Toynbee: “Civilisations die from suicide, not by murder”.Die

Underlining the element of choice Europe has had in accepting the migrant crisis, the article cites the early signs of extreme violence perpetrated by migrants — in this case on each other. Recalling an asylum centre riot in Germany also reported on by Breitbart London in August where inmates part-demolished their own taxpayer funded homes because of a dispute over the Koran and attacked police officers while screaming “Allahu Akhbar”, Ms. Rybinska also recounted the fates of Christian asylum seekers beaten by their Muslim counterparts.

The article lists dozens of recorded sex attacks from the past few weeks, often visited upon under-age Europeans, but it is not just migrants who come in for criticism from wSieci. The magazine also had strong words for German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who it accuses of listening more to the German industrial lobby which it claims campaigns for cheap labour from outside the European Union.American women respond

As a feature begging the question ‘Does Europe Want to Commit Suicide’ concludes, “There is concern that European leaders have too late drawn the obvious conclusions, and some of them feel self-loathing”. “Europe is an oasis of prosperity and peace” compared to Africa and the Middle East, it contends, but the arrival of “millions” of cultural Muslims will “shock and undermine Europe”. The blame for this, the article lays firmly at the feet of Mrs. Merkel.muslim-obama

REPORT: Christians, Gays, Women Fleeing Asylum Centres Due To Persecution By Muslim Men

Christians, homosexuals and women are fleeing asylum centres in Germany in ever growing numbers due to acts of violence, intolerance and crime perpetrated by Muslim men.

According to German newspaper Die Welt, the violence toward ethnic minorities, religious minorities and women continues to skyrocket across German asylum centres. Muslim men tear up Bibles and assault Christians, sexually abuse women and children, and beat up homosexuals. The news has led to calls from human rights campaigners to say enough is enough.RAPEUGEES

In Stuttgart a case of abuse toward an Assyrian Christian by a Muslim roommate led to a petition for separate housing that was signed by over 17,000 people online. The petition, organised by the Central Oriental Christians, asked the City of Stuttgart to, “please accommodate the displaced Christians in Stuttgart-Neugereut and keep them from further distress and persecution to which they are exposed in a decentralised accommodation.”

The matter was brought to the city and a separate asylum centre for 30 Christians was approved by the council. Spokesman for Stuttgart Sven Matis told the paper that after speaking to the district assistant they would be able to approve accommodation for the 30 Christians in Neugereut by the end of April.

Martin Lessenthin, CEO of the International Society for Human Rights also commented on the systematic persecutions of Christians all across German asylum homes. He said it was common to see both Christians and Yazidis subject to torment and beatings and while it is not desirable to accommodate migrants separately, it may be inevitable for the safety of the minorities.Christian Persecution

Separation of migrants has been a policy when it comes to extremely vulnerable minorities. Yazidi girls who were used as sex slaves by the Islamic State are housed in secret locations in Germany so as not to attract unwanted attention from migrants sympathetic to the Islamic State or Muslims who view them as nothing more than sexual objects. A purported 1,100 of these women live in various special shelters across Germany.Same to us

One victim of sexual abuse is said to have been only eight years old at the time of her abuse by ISIS. Another girl had to be treated by specialist burn victim doctors because the constant sexual torment drove her to try and light herself on fire in a failed attempt at suicide.American women respond

In Freibeurg, some 200 women live in secret. The head of the Baden-Wurttemberg state chancellery Klaus-Peter Murawski warns that ISIS militants may be actively monitoring the project in hopes of getting revenge against the women. This warning was proven accurate when an ISIS commander was found at an asylum home earlier this week.

muslim-obamaBreitbart London has reported on migrant violence within asylum homes with cases of Christians, homosexuals and others being beaten in asylum centres across Germany, reports of asylum centres as breeding grounds for extremism, and even young children being brutally raped by fellow migrants.

In today’s Guardian newspaper, columnist Owen Jones blames the “far right” for instability across Europe, lumping thousands of criminal migrants sparking a crime wave across the continent with Jews who fled Nazi Germany. He writes: “And who is waiting, preparing and consolidating? Europe’s far right, already feeding off the despair of economic crisis and a backlash against refugees fleeing violence from the Middle East. Where once the principal target was Jews, now it’s Muslim”.

North Korea has restarted its plutonium reactor and could soon have enough for a nuclear bomb, says US intelligence chief, as Kim Jong-un carries out missile tests

waving flagBy Corey Charlton for MailOnline

North Korea has expanded a uranium enrichment facility and restarted a reactor that could see it stockpiling enough plutonium to create a nuclear bomb, a U.S. intelligence chief has warned. It comes after Pyongyang announced in 2013 its intention to refurbish and restart its nuclear facilities which it had shut down in 2007 – and began testing long range missiles under the guise of ‘satellite’ launches.

The development marks the pariah nation as one of the main threats facing the U.S. this year, James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, claimed.

Kim Jong Un (pictured) has restarted North Korea's nuclear facilities and is weeks away from stockpiling plutonium

Last month North Korea claimed it had conducted its first 'successful' hydrogen bomb test. The pictures shown on South Korean TV (above) are file images from nuclear tests by other countries

In an annual assessment by intelligence agencies of the top dangers facing the country, he warned the Senate Armed Services Committee that Kim Jong Un had followed through on his threat.

He said: We assess that North Korea has followed through on its announcement by expanding its Yongbyon enrichment facility and restarting the plutonium production reactor.’

‘We further assess that North Korea has been operating the reactor long enough so that it could begin to recover plutonium from the reactor’s spent fuel within a matter of weeks to months.’

Weapons-grade uranium and plutonium are both highly sensitive chemicals that form the key ingredients in the production of nuclear bombs. Both are created artificially, with only a handful of countries in the world – including North Korea – possessing the ability to manufacture them. North Korea does have A-bomb technology: its first three nuclear tests, from 2006 to 2013, were devices on roughly the same scale as the ones used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

As late as September last year Pyongyang warned its main nuclear complex was operating and it was working to improve the ‘quality and quantity’ of weapons which it could use against the U.S. at ‘any time’. It comes as it was revealed today U.S. President Barack Obama spoke to Asian allies Japan and South Korea on Monday to garner support for strong action against North Korea in response to the country’s recent weapons tests.

On Sunday, images from North Korean TV (pictured) show a long range rocket being launched over Japan which the country's state media trumpeted as an 'epochal event'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un watched the rocket launch from a secret planning room

A month ago, it claimed to have carried out its fourth nuclear test with the detonation of a massive hydrogen bomb, though doubts were later cast over the scale and size of the explosion.

Today the White House said Obama had spoken to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Park Geun-Hye to weigh the next steps, including a UN Security Council resolution that would bring new sanctions. All three agreed on the need for a ‘strong and united international response to North Korea’s provocations, including through a robust UN Security Council Resolution,’ the White House said.REALLY

North Korea carried out a rocket launch as recently as Sunday – weeks after Pyongyang carried out its fourth nuclear test.

Beijing has in the past proved reluctant to support biting multilateral sanctions against North Korea, for fear of destabilizing a regime on China’s border. The White House has said it could introduce unilateral sanctions if necessary, but admits that room to punish the already heavily sanctioned nation is limited.

The US military has also said it wants to send a sophisticated missile defense system to South Korea as quickly as possible.

EXCLUSIVE -The city destroyed by migration: Inside the Swedish town where armed gangs patrol the streets, crime has exploded and a beautiful social worker’s murder has shocked Europe

Standing on a street corner in the pitch black night, a youth brandishes a broken walking stick like a weapon. Wrapped up warm in a thick parka coat Mohammed jokes with his friends as passers-by watch the gang of unruly youths hanging around one of the few shops still open with suspicion.

As I approach, the 16-year-old drops the baton, his friend kicks it away, trying to hide it.

Ruined: The Gothenburg suburb of Mölndal is in the spotlight this week after the young, beautiful social worker Alexandra Mezher, 22, was stabbed to death in a frenzied attack at the child migrant centre where she worked

Menacing: Miss Mezher's killing is the latest in a long line of migrant related crime in the town which took 4,000 unaccompanied child refugees last year - more than any other town or city in Sweden

Trouble: Those living in the town say its landscape has been changed by the sudden influx of 8,000 migrants last year. Police say they are so over-stretched and have to let some offences go - particularly drug crime

‘Mölndal is the best place in the world,’ Mohammed claims. ‘I have lived here my whole life. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.’ His family arrived in Sweden as refugees in the 1980s. Iraqi Kurds they were forced to flee Saddam Hussein merciless vendetta against this persecuted people.  His father stayed on to fight the regime – a volunteer to the fearless Peshmerga fighters, Mohammed announces proudly. ‘Sweden is very good for people who want to live a peaceful life,’ the youngster explains in flawless English. ‘Everyone is treated with respect. And Swedish people are kind.’

Mohammed’s friends have similar stories. Many were born in Sweden, others arrived as children – all of their families are from other countries – the Middle East, Africa or Eastern Europe. ‘At my school there are people from 25 different countries,’ he tells me. ‘And there are lots of new kids at school who have just arrived as refugees.’

Migrants: The town received £22.6million from the government last year to house young migrants, which is more per capita than any other town in Sweden. Mohamed, 16, an Iraqi Kurd, told MailOnline: ‘Mölndal is the best place in the world. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else'

Landscape: But others in the town disagree and blame Sweden's politicians for Sweden's open door policy. ‘Our f***ing politicians should be shot,’ one outspoken Swede told MailOnline. ‘What the f*** were they thinking opening our doors to everyone?’

Fear: Some say with migration has brought fear. At night on the streets, one woman told our reporter: 'The refugee children gather on the bridge at night. There are lights and it is warm do it us somewhere to go for them. But people become worried when they see gangs of youths hanging around at night'

Deserted: The town's main shopping centre is a no go zone for most people at night because they fear the armed gangs roaming the streets at night looking for trouble

A 20-minute tram ride from the glittering water-fronted centre of Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg, Mölndal is already one of the country’s most diverse communities. And when Europe’s migration crisis erupted last year city leaders stepped forward with open arms to help.

The Gothenburg suburb accepted more unaccompanied refugee children than anywhere else in the country – 4,041 added to a population of 63,000. In the autumn 400 refugee kids were taken in every week.

In 2014, Mölndal received £22.6million to provide housing for unaccompanied minors – the most state funding per capita than any town or city in Sweden.

Mölndal is home to the huge Sagasen refugee centre that houses up to 1,000 new arrivals.

Last year, Sweden, with a population of 9.8 million, took in more than 160,000 asylum seekers. Just over three out of every 2,000 citizens are now refugees.

‘Most of the new kids have special lessons at the moment,’ Mohammed explains. ‘They need to learn Swedish before they can join us in class.’

Exploiting the warmth and lighting of Mölndal’s bus station to chat and play on their smart phones are two such recent arrivals. Abdasis and his friend left Somalia just over a year ago. The pair have only praise for Sweden – despite the long, cold dark nights of winter – because it has offered them sanctuary. ‘Sweden is good place,’ Abdasis, 16, said in broken English. ‘Somalia is war, always war, no peace. Sweden is peace, happiness, life.’

Not everyone in Mölndal or Gothenburg agrees.

The pedestrian bridge over the main road through Mölndal has become a meeting place for young refugees, residents claim. One said: ‘The refugee children gather on the bridge at night. There are lights and it is warm do it us somewhere to go for them.

‘But people become worried when they see gangs of youths hanging around at night.’

Others gather outside the cut-price supermarket Netto in s housing estate a short walk from the station.

Another resident said: ‘this used to be a good area. Now look at it.’

The murder of social worker Alexandra Mezher at a home for unaccompanied refugees this week has shone the spotlight on the country’s controversial open-door immigration policy.

The 22-year-old’s mother Chimene, who arrived in Sweden as a refugee, claims the country is no longer safe. Heartbroken Mrs Mezher said: ‘We left Lebanon to escape the civil war, the violence and the danger. We came to Sweden where it was safe, to start a family. But it is not safe anymore.’

Her husband Bourous, 45, moved to Sweden from Beirut in 1989 and built up a pizza business. Mrs Mezher, who has three sons, said: ‘She was not just my daughter, she was my angel. She was a just and fair human being. There were so many who loved her. She was my daughter, my friend.’

She blamed Swedish politicians for a dramatic rise in immigration in Molndal – particularly of unaccompanied children. Officers in Mölndal say they have had to ignore lesser offences such as drug-dealing because they are so overrun by migrant crime, with gang fights and violent assaults.

And in capital Stockholm police this week warned that the capital’s main train station was ‘overrun’ by gangs of Moroccan street children ‘stealing and groping girls’.Same to us

Swedish police revealed they have sent plain-clothes officers to monitor swimming baths in Stockholm after increased reports of sexual harassment of girls and women.

It was also claimed this week police had been forced to flee after being attacked by a mob of asylum seekers as they tried to relocate a ten-year-old boy amid allegations he had been ‘raped repeatedly’ at a refugee centre.Pedophiles

And staff at a migrant centre in Sweden had to flee where 19 asylum seekers ran riot with weapons. Crime statistics in Mölndal also contradict Abdasis’s assessment of ‘peace, happiness, life’ in the town. Police say they have responded to four or five emergency calls from refugee centres in the Gothenburg area – which includes Mölndal – every day since late October.Do you want

The city’s most up-to-date crime figures reveal there were 372 incidents reported which led to 222 criminal complaints linked to migrant centres – between 20 October 2015 and 8 January this year.

Mölndal’s politicians have refused to explain their open-door immigration policy.

Marie Östh Karlsson, leader of Mölndal district council, thanked MailOnline for a request to discuss immigration, Sweden’s most pressing issue. But she added: ‘At the moment I choose not to give any interview on this topic [immigration].’

Police complain they are stretched to breaking point in having to deal with the rising migrant crime wave.

Murder scene: The 22-year-old social worker was stabbed at this shelter for child migrants at 8am on Monday. She had worked alone on an overnight shift at the centre for refugees aged 14-17

Charged: Somali-born Youssaf Khaliif Nuur is accused of murdering Alexandra Mezher. He appeared in court yesterday and was remanded in custody until February 11. He is being held in a psychiatric hospital

‘We have become completely overwhelmed,’ one policeman with over 30-years-service with Gothenburg Police told MailOnline.

We have given up with narcotic crime. We just don’t have the resources.’RAPEUGEES

Instead officers are trying to fight back the explosion of violent street crime that has erupted in recent months.  There are 20 robberies in Gothenburg every day – usually with violence. ISLAM takes over Europe: Look what Italy and France are doing for it now..

waving flagWritten by Allen West on January 26, 2016

rouhanipope
You know that saying, “there’s a sucker born every minute?” Well, based on what’s happening in Europe, there sure are lots of suckers. What do you think the world, led by Barack Obama, is doing for the number one state sponsor of Islamic terror? Yep, bankrolling them, while the Islamist regime laughs at us.

Yesterday I watched the interview of recently-released American Pastor Saeed Abedini who described his torture and the executions he witnessed in his time while illegally held hostage by the Iranians. And we still have no idea about the whereabouts of Robert Levinson, although we know the Iranians last held him.

But back to the suckers…

PerspectiveAs reported by Fox News, “Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has arrived in Rome on the first European visit by an Iranian president in almost two decades, following implementation of a landmark deal on curbing Iran’s nuclear activities.

Rouhani, eager for foreign investment after the lifting of international sanctions, started the four-day trip to France and Italy on Monday. The trip was originally planned for November but postponed by the attacks in Paris. He met first with Italian President Sergio Matterella, and is scheduled to meet later with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Pope Francis at the Vatican. In France, he is to be welcomed by French President Francois Hollande.

Europe was Iran’s largest trading partner before the sanctions, and a range of business and trade deals is expected.”

Do any of you realize the irony of Iran not visiting Paris because of an Islamic terror attack? The only difference is Suicide-USA-NRD-600that ISIS is Sunni and Iran is Shiite, and Persian, not Arab. I’ve read estimates of Iran securing anywhere from $15 to $18 billion in trade agreements with Italy, and oil is a major portion. The Obama administration has turned over billions of assets back to Iran, and was nice enough to even allow the seizure of two Riverine assault boats and video of our Sailors kneeling at gunpoint. And just last week, Secretary of State John Kerry stated in Davos, Switzerland there’s a high probability these funds and resources will find their way to support terrorism. What a blinding flash of the obvious, sir.

This is the same Iran which sponsors Hezbollah, Hamas, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Quds Force. Every single one of these entities is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States. Here is Iran, a country which has been at a state of war, in conflict with the United States since the Islamic revolution, where they took some 52 Americans hostage by attacking our embassy. This is the same Iran which was behind the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing where 234 Marines and Sailors were killed. This is Iran who provided terrorists with the lethal explosive force penetrators (EFPs) responsible for maiming and killing our men and women in Iraq. This is the same Iran which has not changed its belligerent policies towards the United States and Israel whatsoever — and their president is traipsing all over Europe lining up trade deals.

Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600China has recently endeavored to complete a trade deal with Iran that would bring about hundreds of billions of dollars to the Islamic terrorist state. And there’s a major Boeing contract waiting in the wings here in the United States.

What message is being sent to those who were once our Sunni state allies? If there’s one thing that will further embolden and rally support to Sunni ISIS, it will be this hegemonic rise of Iran. Instead of rallying Sunni support against Islamic jihadists and Iranian terrorism, we’re losing the high ground, and for what reason?

Imagine the propaganda bonanza proliferated by Iran. Here is Hasan Rouhani sitting with the pope, and heading to France to meet with President Francois Hollande. It is unbelievable that the leader of Iran would visit a country which has been rocked by two Islamic terror attacks in 2015. What we’re witnessing is described as dhimmitude, submission, and it will have a lasting effect, long after Obama has left office for the speaking tour…which I’m sure will find its way to Tehran. The liberal acolytes will say Obama has brought us peace — but tell that to the Saudis when they acquire their own nuclear arsenal. The liberal progressive left clearly believes “hope springs eternal.”

I prefer “peace through strength.” Just ask Neville Chamberlain which one worked out best – stuck-on-stupid diplomacy or Churchill’s resolve?

Angela Merkel is calling for tougher laws on regulating migrants after a string of New Year’s Eve sex attacks and robberies in Cologne. The attacks were largely blamed on foreigners and police confirmed of the 31 men questioned so far, 18 were asylum seekers.

Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party wants to:

  • Toughen laws to exclude foreigners from being granted asylum if they have a criminal record, however small
  • Strengthen police powers to conduct checks of identity papers

As many as 1,000 men of “Arab or North African descent” allegedly groped women near the city’s main train station.

More than 100 womenreported they had been threatened, robbed or molested in the area.

Cartoon: North Korea’s Background Check

160108_NorthKorea_KuhlmanHeritage Foundation expert Bruce Klinger wrote this week on North Korea:

North Korea announced Wednesday that it has conducted a successful H-bomb nuclear test of a miniaturized warhead.

Prior to the announcement, sensors had detected a 5.1-magnitude seismic event at the same approximate location of North Korea’s 2013 nuclear test. Nuclear experts are continuing to analyze the data, but preliminary assessments are that North Korea did conduct its fourth nuclear test.

North-Korea-MissileNorth Korean leader Kim Jong-un asserted last month that his country had built a hydrogen nuclear bomb to “defend its sovereignty and the dignity of the nation.” Kim’s initial assertion about hydrogen bombs was met with expert skepticism, and it is more likely that Pyongyang has achieved a boosted fission rather than a fusion bomb. Such a weapon would be larger than its first three nuclear tests (and the 1945 U.S. atomic weapons) but North-Korea-Mottonot of the magnitude of a hydrogen fusion bomb.

If confirmed, North Korea’s fourth nuclear test is a dangerous development. Coupled with ongoing development of several different missile systems, North Korea poses an increasing and direct threat to the United States, South Korea, and Japan.

Experts estimate that Pyongyang currently has 10-16 nuclear weapons with potentially as many as 50-100 by 2020. North Korea has likely already achieved warhead miniaturization, the ability to place nuclear weapons on its medium-range missiles, and a preliminary ability to reach the continental United States with a missile.

Sea of FireWashington should immediately request a U.N. Security Council meeting to produce a new resolution to impose stronger punitive sanctions and close loopholes, such as including Article 42 of Chapter VII of the U.N. Charter, which allows for enforcement by military means. Washington should call upon all U.N. member nations to fully implement existing sanctions to hinder North how to speak north koreanKorea’s procurement and export of missile-related and WMD-related items.

In addition to U.N. actions, Washington should augment U.S. sanctions. President Barack Obama’s assertion that North Korea is the most heavily sanctioned country in the world is simply not true. The Obama administration has not fully implemented derangedU.S. laws and has targeted fewer North Korean entities than those of the Balkans, Burma, Cuba, Iran, and Zimbabwe. The U.S. should target financial and regulatory measures against any government, financial, or business entity assisting North Korean nuclear, missile, and conventional arms; criminal activities; money laundering; or import of luxury goods.

For its part, South Korea should resume propaganda broadcasts along the demilitarized zone, sever its involvement in the joint economic China giving freedom to north koreaventure with North Korea at Kaesong, and request U.S. deployment of the THAAD missile defense system to augment South Korea’s indigenous system, which is insufficient to defend against North Korea’s growing nuclear and missile threat.

North Korea’s nuclear test is a serious and irreparable violation of numerous U.N. Security Council resolutions. It reflects Pyongyang’s will nuke for foodcontinued pursuit of its prohibited nuclear weapons programs in open defiance of the international community despite countless attempts by the United States and its allies to reach a diplomatic resolution.

The regime has repeatedly asserted that it has no intention of ever abandoning its nuclear weapons, and its continuing improvement and augmentation of its nuclear arsenal threatens the United States and its allies. It is time for the Obama administration to abandon its policy of timid incrementalism and fully implement existing U.S. laws by imposing stronger sanctions on North Korea and work with Congress to determine additional measures.

TRANSCANADA SUES OBAMA: SAYS HE VIOLATED TREATIES, EXCEEDED AUTHORITY OVER KEYSTONE PIPELINE #o4a #news

Reported by Mr Americana, Overpasses News Desk, January 7th, 2016, Overpasses For America, VIA CNS NEWS

keystone-pipeline1
HOUSTON (AP) — The Canadian company that proposed the Keystone XL oil pipeline filed a lawsuit over the U.S. government’s rejection of the project and announced it plans to file a second legal challenge that will seek more than $15 billion in damages.

TransCanada filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday in Houston alleging President Barack Obama’s decision in November to kill the pipeline exceeded his power under the U.S. Constitution.

The company also announced the same day that it will submit a separate petition seeking the billions in damages, alleging the U.S. breached its obligations under the North American Free Trade Agreement.

In November, Obama quashed the pipeline, declaring it would have undercut U.S. efforts to clinch a global climate change deal at the center of his environmental legacy. The president said he agreed with a State Department conclusion that Keystone wouldn’t advance U.S. national interests.

“TransCanada has been unjustly deprived of the value of its multi-billion dollar investment by the U.S. Administration’s action,” TransCanada said in a statement. “As the administration candidly admitted, its decision was not based on the merits of the project. Rather, the denial was a symbolic gesture based on speculation about the (false) perceptions of the international community regarding the administration’s leadership on climate change.”Ponzi Scheme

In its lawsuit, TransCanada alleges Obama’s decision exceeded his powers as president and infringed upon Congress’ power under the Constitution to regulate interstate and international commerce.

energy_oil-well-sunset_72dpi

The White House and the State Department both declined to comment on the lawsuit or the NAFTA challenge.

The lawsuit does not seek any monetary damages but asks for a ruling that the denial of the pipeline permit was without legal merit and that the federal government officials named in the lawsuit not be allowed to enforce Obama’s decision to not proceed with the pipeline.

Named as defendants in the lawsuit are: Secretary of State John Kerry; U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch; Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson; and Secretary of the Department of Interior Sally Jewell.

TransCanada said it plans to submit a separate petition that alleges the U.S. breached four articles under NAFTA — which governs trade between the U.S., Canada and Mexico — that provide financial protections for all Canadian investors.

“The denial was based on politics, not the merits of the application,” attorneys for TransCanada said in a notice they filed with the State Department on Wednesday that the company will submit a claim of arbitration under NAFTA and ask for more than $15 billion in damages.

TransCanada first applied for Keystone permits in September 2008 — shortly before Obama was elected. As envisioned, Keystone would snake from Canada’s tar sands through Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska, then connect with existing pipelines to carry more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil a day to specialized refineries along the Texas Gulf Coast.

Most pipelines wait roughly a year and a half for permits to cross the U.S. border, but Keystone’s review dragged on more than five times as long as average, according to an Associated Press analysis.

Republicans, Canadian politicians and the energy industry argued the pipeline would create thousands of jobs and inject billions into the economy. But Democrats and environmental groups latched onto Keystone as just the type of project that must be phased out if the world is to seriously combat climate change.hysteria

North Korea Nuke Could Blow Up Hillary Clinton’s Campaign

As Secretary of State in President Barack Obama’s first term, Clinton led a policy that sought new outlets for talks with North Korea while promising “to speak out forcefully” against the regime. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, traveled personally to North Korea to free U.S. journalists in 2009.

In 2007, then-candidate Obama had promised to meet with North Korean leaders, among others, “without preconditions,” saying that “the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them–which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this [Bush] administration–is ridiculous.” In his campaign manifesto, Obama went further, promising to “eliminate North Korea’s nuclear weapons program” through diplomacy.REALLY

In his 2010 State of the Union address, delivered while Hillary Clinton was in charge of his administration’s foreign policy, Obama boasted that he was succeeding in diplomacy with North Korea, as well as with Iran–that his diplomatic efforts had “strengthened our hand in dealing with those nations that insist on violating international agreements in pursuit of nuclear weapons.” He repeated the claim in his 2011 State of the Union Address, stating that his administration continued to “insist that North Korea keeps its commitment to abandon nuclear weapons.”More Liberal Gibberish

In 2013, North Korea conducted its third nuclear test on the day President Obama was to give his State of the Union address, putting an atomic stamp on the administration’s failure. In 2014, the administration struggled to respond to North Korean hacks that targeted Sony Pictures and its film, The Interview, that lampooned the regime.

Experts are skeptical that Wednesday’s test was a hydrogen bomb, but agree that it was a nuclear explosion, and not a natural earthquake.

Already, Clinton’s rivals are pouncing. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie told Fox & Friends Wednesday that “three out of the four nuclear detonations that the North Koreans have done have happened on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s watch, and they have just not acted strongly at all around the world. It’s just another example piling on top of Iran, on top of Syria, on top of Crimea and Ukraine. This is what weak American leadership gets you.”

The fact that Bill Clinton, as well as Hillary Clinton, was involved in recent diplomacy with North Korea may also tempt GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to renew his attack on the former president. Recently, Trump has revived the issue of Bill Clinton’s conduct towards women–and his wife’s alleged enabling behavior.

MUSLIM REFUGEE REPORT: Look What Happened After These Holier Than Thou Liberals Invited Refugees Into Their Home

Do you want

In an ironic twist of the fate, the same bleeding-heart liberals who opened their South African farm to hundreds of Central African refugees who were allegedly fleeing “xenophobic violence” have themselves — along with their 10 childrenbeen driven from their own home and threatened with murder.

This occurred last week, when the refugees from Burundi and the Congo reportedly grew tired of waiting to be relocated to a proper home in another country and started acting out violently against farm owners Andrew and Rae Wartnaby.

“Then in the early hours of the morning, at around 2 a.m., they came smashing on my windows and doors and saying that they will kill me because I work for the government and I am not helping them,” Andrew recalled to News24.com.

Then when Rae looked through a window, she saw flames engulfing one of the refugees’ tents.

“I immediately asked if everyone is OK but they kept shouting that tonight was my night and they will kill me,” Andrew continued. “I haven’t slept since then.”Do you want

To be fair, not all the Muslim refugees are acting out against Andrew and his wife. Apparently, the refugees split into two groups — one that wants to work with Andrew, Rae and their government contacts to find a way out of South Africa, and another that refuses to listen to reason.

“I tried to talk to them but they refused to listen because they believe I am selling them out to the lawyers and government and that Andrew is not helping them be placed in another country,” Vital Nshinirimana, the leader of the group cooperating with the couple, explained.

Obviously, Andrew and Rae wanted to help all the Muslim refugees, but how could they help people who in their arrogance refused to be helped? If nothing else, this story highlights exactly why bleeding-heart liberals need to be very careful about what they do. While we understand that they just want to help people, sometimes it is best to let folks just figure things out for themselves.

Relocated from their usual spot outside the Dresden Semper Opera house, which the city council had awarded instead to a much smaller anti-PEGIDA demonstration, the protest took place instead on the banks of the Elbe river.

Following the form established at the end of 2014, when PEGIDA was still only in its infancy but already attracting crowds of more than 17,000, the supporters of the movement gathered on Monday night to sing Christmas carols and listen to speeches. Published on the PEGIDA website in advance, attendees were asked to print extra copies of the carols in the programme to bring for older supporters who might not enjoy “familiarity with computers and printers”.

In the speeches, PEGIDA founder and leader Lutz Bachmann criticised the decision to prevent the organisation from meeting outside the railway station, because that is where Jews and other political enemies of the Third Reich has been deported from during the 1930s. He said there were no similarities between the PEGIDA movement and Nazism, despite what the mainstream media might say.

Also hotly debated was the revelation by the German police this week that just 10 per cent of refugees entering Germany have their identities checked, as forces at the borders are so overstretched they have become incapable of fulfilling their legal duties. Rally organiser Siegfried Däbritz called Angela Merkel the German “Queen of crime” and said she was standing at the bow of the “Titanic Europe”, steering it towards the iceberg.

After the carols, which included Stille Nacht, Thine be the Glory, and Adeste Fideles, the crowd was led in a rendition of the German national anthem.

In the past year the PEGIDA strolling movement has weathered all scandals and road blocks thrown before it by the German establishment and mass media. Tears of joy as historic deal passed: Politicians hail deal to halt climate change after the world FINALLY agrees to work together to cut emissions

waving flagBy Flora Drury and Lydia Willgress and Colin Fernandez For Mailonline  |

There were tears of joy as delegates finally agreed to the world’s first comprehensive climate agreement after two weeks of negotiations in Paris. The Paris Agreement was passed with no objections by French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, bringing to an end four years’ of discussion and debate. Nearly 200 nations adopted the global pact, calling on the world to collectively cut and then eliminate greenhouse gas pollution – but imposing no sanctions on countries that don’t.

To a reception of whoops and cheers, Laurent Fabius told the hall: ‘I now invite the COP [conference of the parties] to adopt the decision. I see no objections. The Paris agreement is adopted.’ The plenary hall then rose to give him a standing ovation.

Mr Fabius was reminded that custom requires him to bang his ceremonial gavel before the agreement can be passed.

‘I’m being reminded I’m supposed to bang the gavel. It’s a small gavel, but it can do a great job,’ and with a bang of his gavel, the Paris agreement was officially passed.

UN climate chief Christiana Figueres said: ‘I used to say we must, we can, we will – today we can say we did.’

The first draft of the ‘historic’ legally binding agreement had been reached around midday.

The report confirmed countries – if they accept the 31-page draft – will be expected to work towards limiting global warming to 2C above pre-industrial levels. Negotiators will reconvene this afternoon to approve or reject the agreement.

However, the agreement took several more hours to reach – with one western diplomat revealing it was held up for two hours by the U.S., which was unhappy with one word.  The diplomat, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the U.S. wants the word ‘shall’ changed to ‘should’ in a clause on emissions targets out of fears that it might require the Obama administration to seek approval from the Republican-controlled Senate.Ponzi Scheme

Prime Minister David Cameron said the universal climate deal agreed in Paris ‘means that the whole world has signed to play its part in halting climate change’, adding: ‘It’s a moment to remember and a huge step forward in helping to secure the future of our planet.’

President Barack Obama tweeted: ‘This is huge: Almost every country in the world just signed on to the on climate change—thanks to American leadership.’

Christine Lagarde, the IMF’s managing director, said: ‘The Paris Agreement is a critical step forward for addressing climate change.’

‘Whereas we left Copenhagen scared of what comes next, we’ll leave Paris inspired to keep fighting,’ said David Turnbull, Director at Oil Change International, a research and advocacy organisation opposed to fossil fuel production.

Kevin Watkins, executive director of the Overseas Development Institute, said: ‘It is a tough message to deliver after two weeks of intense negotiations that have delivered an ambitious deal, but the challenge governments are facing can be summarised in five words – ‘now for the hard part’.’

Kumi Naidoo of Greenpeace praised the accord was a good start but isn’t enough. ‘Today the human race has joined in a common cause, but it’s what happens after this conference that really matters,’ he said. ‘This deal alone won’t dig us out the hole we’re in, but it makes the sides less steep.’

But Friends of the Earth said it was a ‘disaster’. In a statement released by the group, they said: ‘The draft Paris agreement puts us on track for a planet three degrees hotter than today. This would be a disaster.DELUSIONAL

‘The reviews in this agreement are too weak and too late. The finance figures have no bearing on the scale of need. It’s empty.’

Nick Dearden, director of Global Justice Now, added: ‘It’s outrageous that the deal that’s on the table is being spun as a success when it undermines the rights of the world’s most vulnerable communities and has almost nothing binding to ensure a safe and liveable climate for future generations.’

China and India, the world’s two most populous nations and biggest developing country greenhouse-gas polluters, hailed Saturday’s adoption of a universal climate pact as a step to a brighter future.

‘What we have adopted is not only an agreement, but we have written a new chapter of hope in the lives of seven billion people on the planet,’ Indian Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said to loud applause from exhausted but elated climate negotiators.

‘We have today reassured this future generation that we all together will mitigate the challenge posed by climate change and will give them a better Earth.’REALLY

China’s climate envoy Xie Zhenhua said the agreement saw the nations of the world ‘marching historic steps forward.’

‘All parties have made a correct choice that is beneficial for their own people, responsible for future generations and conducive to sustainable development around the world,’ he said through a translator.

‘This indeed is a marvellous act that belongs to our generation, and all of us.’

Reality

Earlier in the day, French President Francois Hollande pleaded with delegates to accept the ‘ambitious’ agreement, which was finalised during late-night negotiations on Friday. He said: ‘You will make a choice for your country, for your continent, but also a choice for the world. It will be a major leap for mankind.’ He added: ‘History is coming. In fact, history is here.’

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also made an impassioned speech to world diplomats negotiating the potential draft.

He said: ‘The whole world is watching. Billions of people are relying on your wisdom.

‘The time has come to acknowledge that national interests are best served by acting in the international interest.

‘We have to do as science dictates. We must protect the planet that sustains us. We need all our hands on deck.’

Speaking after the midday announcement that the draft had been reached, the G77 bloc of 134 developing nations, including China, gave the nod for the rescue pact.

Nozipho Mxakato-Diseko, a South African negotiator and spokeswoman for the G77, said: ‘We are united, all together. We are happy to go home with this text.’

The G77 added its voice to groups including the Like-Minded Developing Countries, the European Union and the Least Developed Countries, who have all come out in support of the final draft.  The meeting came after legal teams and translators spent Saturday morning combing the document before it was presented.

A CollectionSO WHAT’S IN THE AGREEMENT?

The draft agreement sets a global goal of peaking greenhouse gas emissions ‘as soon as possible’.

Its key points include:

  • Limiting the rise in global temperatures to 2C above pre-industrial levels, with an eye to making it more like 1.5C
  • Introducing a five-year review system to increase ambition on cutting emissions
  • Funding for poorer countries

It also calls for achieving a balance between man-made emissions and the Earth’s ability to absorb them by the second half of this century.

A previous draft included a section on ‘loss and damage’ – an issue pushed by small island nations and vulnerable countries who wanted the deal to recognise there are some impacts of climate change they cannot adapt to.

However, an adjoining decision linked to the agreement in the final draft said the loss and damage article ‘does not involve or provide a basis for any liability or compensation’.

Wealthy nations will, however, need to continue to provide financial support for poor nations to cope with climate change, the report said.

Announcing the final draft, the country’s foreign minister Laurent Fabius said: ‘We are almost at the end of the path. It’s my deep conviction that we have come up with an ambitious and balanced agreement.

‘The world is holding its breath, it’s counting on all of us.’

He added that the accord would aim to limit the rise in global temperatures to 2C above pre-industrial times, with an additional pledge to get it closer to 1.5C.

The report states: ‘[Countries will hold] the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2C above pre-industrial levels and [pursue] efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5C.’

It also includes a five-year review system to increase ambition on cutting emissions as well as finance for developing countries to deal with rising temperatures.

The draft comes after two weeks of fraught debate as officials disagreed on how to phase out greenhouse gases and finance poorer nations.

Many countries – including China and Saudi Arabia, where officials fear plans to limit global temperature rises could jeopardise oil production – previously refused to yield ground on key issues within the agreement.

During two weeks of discussions, the text was slimmed down from 43 pages in an attempt to find compromises.

Arguments over finance deals to help poor countries cope with climate change and adapt to low carbon economies have also been a major point of disagreement.

The United States said it would remain opposed to any wording that might force it to give compensation to developing nations struggling to cope with the impacts of climate change as a result of past emissions by developed countries.REALLY

Meanwhile, environmental and human rights groups carried out protests around Paris on Saturday to call attention to populations threatened by man-made global warming. Campaigners dressed as polar bears, scaled the Arc de Triomphe and painted a road yellow in a bid to urge an end to the use of oil, gas and coal. Protesters also stretched a 1.2-mile red banner from the Arc de Triomphe to the La Defense business district in Paris in a bid to illustrate the ‘red line’ they say climate negotiators should not cross. The protests were timed to coincide with the end of the two-week climate talks. They came as some charities denounced the final draft and said delegates had not done enough.

Thomas Coutrot, of advocacy group Attac, said the final draft is an optical illusion that ‘masks’ a lack of serious policy changes like abandoning oil altogether. He said: ‘This accord is unacceptable.’ He also declared ‘a state of climate emergency’.

In the wake of the Islamic terrorist attack in Paris, France plans on shutting down up to to 160 mosques in the next few months. French President Francois Hollande announced a state of emergency after the attacks, bolstering security measures across the country. Authorities argue that the mosques pose a threat to national security, operating as hubs of radicalism.AMEN

“According to official figures and our discussions with the interior ministry, between 100 and 160 more mosques will be closed because they are run illegally without proper licenses, they preach hatred, or use takfiri [threats against apostates] speech,” French-Islamic bureaucratic state mediator and Muslim prison chaplain Hassan El Alaoui told Al Jazeera on Wednesday. “This kind of speech shouldn’t even be allowed in Islamic countries, let alone secure countries like France.”

Despite assuming a security-conscious posture, the Islamic leader still stubbornly refused to acknowledge the glaring fact that the terrorists that attacked Paris were driven by religious motivations. “Those terrorists are a bunch of thieves and drug dealers that wore religious clothing. The whole issue is not about Muslims, but about terrorists. It’s an issue of security for everyone,” snapped El Alaoui.definetly

El Alaoui apologist rhetoric taps into leftist PC culture, excusing and defending an ideology at the expense of human life. Both President Obama and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton have espoused the same cowardly semantics to avoid linking Islam and terrorism.

Russia adding 2nd airbase in Syria, pursuing ‘expansion’ in military campaign

waving flagBy ; Published December 01, 2015; FoxNews.com

ISIS is contained

Russia has expanded its military operations in Syria to include a second airbase as well as other posts, according to a U.S. official briefed on the latest intelligence from the region – even as President Obama expresses muted optimism that Russian President Vladimir Putin eventually will “shift” his strategy and work with the West. Moscow’s presence has grown to a total of four forward operating bases, including recently added bases in Hama and Tiyas. But the most concerning to the Pentagon is the second airbase in Shayrat which can support fixed-wing aircraft, greatly expanding Russia’s capability for airstrikes, which began on Sept. 30.

“The Russians are operating helicopters out of Shayrat airport, but they are making [preparations] to land fixed-wing aircraft,” another U.S. official confirmed to Fox News.

Shayrat is located 25 miles outside of the Syrian city of Homs, an hour drive from neighboring Lebanon.

Since September, Russia has based its warplanes and helicopters at Basel al-Assad airbase in Latakia, one of the last remaining Assad strongholds along the Mediterranean coast. While the Pentagon cannot confirm any Russian military jets have landed at Shayrat, there are reports Russia has landed aircraft in the past few hours.

Russia’s two other forward operating bases are used to land its attack helicopters employed to defend the Assad regime against Syrian rebels. But when asked if the move to expand to a second airbase was defensive in nature in case Syrian rebels succeed in destroying the Latakia base, one of the U.S. officials pushed back.

“This is an expansion, not a defensive move at all,” the official said. He said Syrian rebels were nowhere close to taking the Russian airbase in Latakia.

The expansion comes as Russia spars with other world powers over its Syria approach.

While the Obama administration is trying to persuade Moscow to focus its efforts on taking out Islamic State targets, Russia is known to be targeting U.S.-backed rebels tasked with weakening the Russia-backed Assad regime. Obama acknowledged this during a press conference Tuesday, while also voicing hope that Russia at some point will cooperate.

While Russia’s military involvement has stoked tensions with the U.S., it has led to a direct confrontation with Turkey. One Russian Su-24 strike aircraft was shot down by Turkey last week – and on Monday, the U.S. State Department for the first time publicly backed Turkey’s claims that the Russian warplane had entered Turkish airspace.

A Russian Mi-8 transport helicopter then sent to rescue the downed pilots was destroyed with a U.S.-made TOW anti-tank missiles by Syrian rebels. After those incidents, the Russians now have 31 warplanes and 15 helicopters – thought to be at Latakia.

Obama, discussing Putin’s calculations, said Tuesday that the situation in Syria is “not the outcome he is looking for.”

But critics will point to Russia’s expanding influence – not just in the Middle East but in eastern Ukraine, since Russia annexed Crimea and sent troops into eastern Ukraine to support a separatist movement in 2014. The Obama administration had vowed to isolate Russia over the incident.

Obama said in October he does not want a proxy war in Russia, but the CIA’s arming of rebels in Syria and Russia’s airstrikes indicates the U.S. is already engaged in one.

A senior defense official also said Turkey was “really pissed” when Russia bombed Turkmen rebels fighting Assad in Syria, ethnically tied to Turkey, and warned Russia on multiple occasions not to invade its airspace before shooting down the Russian Su-24 last week.

Obama, speaking in Paris Tuesday, alluded to the different sides the United States and Russia have taken in Syria’s civil war.

“So long as they are aligned with the regime, a lot of Russian resources will be targeted at opposition groups that will be part of an inclusive government that we support,” he said.

Obama seeks global climate pact in Paris, amid resistance at home

President Obama set out Monday to help seal a global climate pact at the opening of a major summit in Paris, though he faces stiff opposition at home from congressional Republicans and states worried his proposals will cost thousands of jobs. The president joined more than 150 world leaders for the two-week conference where countries are trying to negotiate an agreement aimed at slowing an increase in global temperatures. In opening remarks, Obama called the meeting a potential “turning point” for the effort.

“What should give us hope that this is a turning point, that this is the moment we finally determined we would save our planet, is the fact that our nations share a sense of urgency about this challenge and a growing realization that it is within our power to do something about it,” he said.Ponzi Scheme

With the summit getting under way in the wake of the devastating terror attacks in the same city, some Republicans have questioned whether Obama is focusing too much on global warming and not enough on security. But Obama on Monday called the negotiations an “act of defiance” toward the attackers. What did you say 07.jpg

Leaders call global warming threat ‘intertwined’ with terror battle

“What greater rejection of those who would tear down our world than marshaling our best efforts to save it?” Obama said. The president said that, as the leader of the world’s largest economy and second-largest emitter (after China), “we embrace our responsibility to do something about it.”The Leftist Propagandist

The president also met one-on-one Monday with leaders of other nations responsible for the largest carbon emissions, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the sidelines of the summit, Obama met as well with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss security matters.

But as Obama makes a personal press for a climate deal, he faces practical challenges back in Washington.

The president has pledged that the U.S. will cut its overall emissions by 26 percent to 28 percent by 2030, and a centerpiece of that is a push to reduce emissions from U.S. power plants. But half the states are suing to block the power plant rules, claiming Obama has abused his authority under the Clean Air Act.obama- Marxist tyrant

Further, Republicans on Capitol Hill are threatening to block committing U.S. dollars to a U.N. Green Climate Fund designed to help poorer countries combat climate change.

In the days before the Paris summit, Republicans warned that any Paris deal with legally binding provisions must come before the Senate for a vote. And without that approval, they warned, lawmakers will not green-light the Green Climate Fund money.“Without Senate approval, there will be no money – period,” Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said at a recent hearing.

Barrasso and Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, also sent a letter to Obama signed by more than three dozen senators likewise urging the president to have his special envoy relay to developing nations’ representatives that Congress “will not be forthcoming” with the Green Climate Fund money absent a Senate vote.

The president wants to direct $3 billion – including $500 million in the near-term – for the U.N. Green Climate Fund.

The Paris conference is aimed at the most far-reaching deal ever to tackle global warming. The last major agreement, the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, required only rich countries to cut emissions, and the U.S. never signed on. Among several sticking points is money — how much rich countries should invest to help poor countries cope with climate change, how much should be invested in renewable energy, and how much traditional oil and gas producers stand to lose if countries agree to forever reduce emissions.

With that in mind, at least 19 governments and 28 leading world investors were announcing billions of dollars in investments to research and develop clean energy technology, with the goal of making it cheaper.

Backers include Obama, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, billionaires George Soros and Saudi Prince Alaweed bin Talal, and Jack Ma of China’s Alibaba.Partyof Deceit Spin and Lies

Meanwhile, Obama met on the sidelines with Putin to discuss the civil war in Syria, as well as Turkey’s shoot-down of a Russian jet last week amid allegations it crossed into Turkish airspace.

According to a White House official, Obama “expressed his regret for the recent loss of a Russian pilot and crew member and reiterated the United States’ support for de-escalation between Russia and Turkey.”

Obama, though, also reiterated that Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad must leave power as part of any political transition.

Turkish F-16s shoot down Russian fighter jet near Syria border

waving flagPublished November 24, 2015, FoxNews.com

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that Turkey’s decision to shoot down a Russian warplane near Turkey’s border with Syria is a “stab in the back” and it would have “significant consequences” for its relations with Turkey, as NATO called an emergency meeting over the incident. Putin said the Russian Sukhoi-24 jet was shot by a missile from a Turkish jet over Syria about just over a half-mile away from the Turkish border, which he described as a “stab in the back by the terrorists’ accomplices.” Turkey said it warned the jet several times that it was in its airspace.

Putin was meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah II in Sochi. Prior to the meeting, The New York Times said Putin was “speaking slowly and clearly angry.”

NATO called an emergency meeting in Brussels on Tuesday after the incident.

“The aim of this extraordinary North Atlantic Council meeting is for Turkey to inform allies about the downing of a Russian airplane,” NATO’s deputy spokesperson Carmen Romero told the Associated Press.

A spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition based out of Baghdad said the U.S. indeed heard Turkey on “open channels” issue 10 warnings to the Russian jet before the incident. Reports out of Russia also say a military helicopter was shot at in Syria, killing one serviceman. The helicopter was reportedly on a rescue mission.

Rebels said they fired at the two parachuting pilots as they descended, and that one had died. A rebel spokesman said they would consider releasing the body in exchange for prisoners held by Syria. The fate of the second pilot was not immediately known.

VIDEO: Raw footage of Russian jet being shot down

U.S. defense official said that two Turkish F-16s fired heat-seeking air-to-air missiles at the Russian aircraft. “This will get complicated,” the official said.

Tuesday’s incident is the first time since the 1950s that a Russian or Soviet military aircraft has been publicly acknowledged to have been shot down by a NATO country, according to Reuters.

President Obama, at a joint press conference with French President François Hollande, cautioned that information about the incident was still emerging and discouraged escalation. He added that Turkey had a “right to defend its territory and its airspace.”

The president said the shoot-down underscored an “ongoing problem” with Russia’s military operations in Syria, where the Russians have been targeting groups near the Turkish border. The incident also shows a need to move forward quickly on a diplomatic resolution to the conflict in Syria, he said.

Russia said the Su-24 was downed by artillery fire, but Turkey claimed that its F-16s fired on the Russian plane after it ignored the warnings.

Putin warned that the incident would have “significant consequences” for its relations with Turkey and criticized Ankara for turning to NATO to discuss the incident instead of first explaining to Russia what happened.

VIDEO: John Bolton on significance of shooting

A U.S. official confirmed to Fox News that the Russian Su-24 was downed north of the Syrian port city of Latakia. The official told Fox News that the Su-24’s two pilots parachuted and were last seen attempting to evade capture. Two Russian helicopters were airborne to attempt a rescue mission.

A video that was later released by Syrian rebels showed one of the pilots dead, while the fate of the other one is unclear.

Jahed Ahmad of the 10th Brigade in the Coast, a rebel group, told The Associated Press that the two Russian crew members tried to land in their parachutes in government-held areas after they ejected, but came under fire from members of his group. He added that rebels shot one of the pilots, who landed dead on the ground on Tuesday.

The group released a video showing gunmen standing around a blond pilot whose face was bruised and appeared dead. Ahmad said his group would consider exchanging the body of the pilot with prisoners held by the Syrian government. “This is the body of a Russian member of the military who was killing Syrian people,” he said. “We have the body and we will see what to do with it.”

Video footage of the incident showed the Russian plane on fire before crashing on a hill.

Rami Abdurrahman, who heads the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the warplane crashed in the Turkmen Mountains region in the coastal province of Latakia. The region has been subjected to an offensive by Syrian government forces over the past several days under the cover of Russian airstrikes. The area is controlled by several insurgent groups, including Al Qaeda’s branch in Syria, the Nusra Front, and the 2nd Coastal Division that consists of local Turkmen fighters.

A Turkish military statement said the plane entered Turkish airspace over the town of Yayladagi, in Hatay province. It said the plane was warned 10 times within the space of 5 minutes.

Russia denied that the plane ever crossed the Syrian border into Turkish skies.

“We are looking into the circumstances of the crash of the Russian jet,” the country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement. “The Ministry of Defense would like to stress that the plane was over the Syrian territory throughout the flight.”

A statement from Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s office said the Turkish leader spoke with Turkey’s military chief and foreign ministry about the incident. It said Davutoglu would start “initiatives” within NATO and the United Nations.

On Friday, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador demanding that Russia cease operations in Syria targeting Turkmen villages, saying the Russian actions did not “constitute a fight against terrorism” but the bombing of civilians. Ambassador Andrey Karlov was warned during the meeting that the Russian operations could lead to serious consequences, the ministry said.

Turkey changed its rules of engagement a few years ago after Syria shot down a Turkish plane. According to the new rules, Turkey said it would consider all “elements” approaching from Syria an enemy threat and would act accordingly.

Following earlier accusations of Russian intrusion into Turkish airspace, the U.S. European Command on Nov. 6 deployed six U.S. Air Force F-15 fighters from their base in Britain to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey to help the NATO-member country secure its skies.

Despite harsh words, some analysts believe that Russia and Turkey have reasons not to let the incident escalate.

“Relations have been very strained between Russia and Turkey of late so Moscow will be trying its utmost to contain the damage this might cause,” said Natasha Kuhrt, lecturer in International Peace and Security at King’s College London. “It’s a serious incident in anybody’s book,” added Ian Kearns, director of the European Leadership Network, a London think-tank.

The European Command said the deployment was “in response to the government of Turkey’s request for support in securing the sovereignty of Turkish airspace.”

In October, NATO’s governing body, the North Atlantic Council, had warned Moscow it was courting “extreme danger” by sending planes into Turkish air space.

French jets have launched a series of ‘massive’ air strikes on ISIS in Syria as the country started its ‘pitiless’ retribution for the terror attacks on Paris.

The blitz was conducted by ten fighter planes which dropped 20 bombs on the terror group’s capital of Raqqa, destroying a key command centre, training camp and munitions dump, throwing the city into panic.

The bombardment came just two days after President Francois Hollande said the co-ordinated attacks in Paris that killed up to 129 people was an ‘act of war’ and vowed to strike ISIS in Syria ‘without mercy’.

In France, police carried out around 150 co-ordinated anti-terrorism raids across the country this morning, arresting dozens of suspects and seizing a cache of weapons including a rocket launcher.

A huge manhunt is also underway for accomplices of the Islamist cell including one of the bomb plotters who is still on the run today after police let him go in a string of incredible security blunders before and after the atrocity on Friday night.

A French official has also identified the suspected mastermind of the Paris attacks as Belgian Abdelhamid Abaaoud.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, meanwhile, has warned that authorities believe new terror attacks are being planned in France and in other European countries following the carnage.

France's strong approach to counter attacking ISIS in Syria has reportedly led to the destruction of a key jihadi recruitment centre and a training camp

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has also called for the dissolution of mosques ‘where hatred is preached’ in comments made on French television.

The air strikes in Syria, carried out in co-ordination with U.S. forces, struck a command centre, recruitment centre for jihadists, a munitions depot and a training camp for fighters, it said.

Activists inside Syria have suggested that no civilian casualties have been sustained in the Raqqa bombings.

Water supplies and electricity have reportedly been cut as a result of the air strikes, with activists claiming there has been ‘panic’ inside the city.

‘The raid…  including 10 fighter jets, was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Twenty bombs were dropped,’ the French Defence ministry statement said last night.

Meanwhile, heavily armed tactical units launched more than 150 pre-dawn raids at addresses in Toulouse, Lyon, Grenoble, Calais and two suburbs of Paris.

French media reports a rocket launcher, flack jackets, several pistols and a Kalashnikov assault rifle were among the cache of weapons seized in Lyon overnight, with five people arrested.

They were among dozens of arrests in areas linked with radical Islamists who may have helped seven suicide bombers carry out the carnage.

French security sources said a fourth terrorist had now been identified as Frenchman Samy Aminour, 28, after raids on addresses in the Parisian suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis and Bobigny linked to his family overnight.

Aminour, thought to be one of four jihadis who massacred 89 fans at the Bataclan rock gig, is said to have been known to French anti-terror police since 2012 when he was prosecuted for trying to flee France for Yemen.

This morning, Mr Valls said that new terror attacks are being planned in France and in other European countries.

‘We know that operations were being prepared and are still being prepared, not only against France but other European countries too,’ he said.

France would be living with the threat of terror attacks ‘for a long time’, he said.

Valls said he was struck by the fact that young people had been targeted in Friday’s attacks on a concert hall, bars and restaurants and outside the Stade de France stadium.

The heavy bombing raid comes just two days after the militant group claimed coordinated attacks in Paris that killed 128 people, the defence ministry said

The airstrikes have been carried out in revenge for the deadly Paris attacks in which 128 people were killed

France and other countries in Europe today observed a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the worst-ever terror attacks on French soil.

In Paris, President Francois Hollande and his cabinet, all dressed in black, bowed their heads at the Sorbonne University, surrounded by scores of students.

And at Place de la Republique near the site of many of Friday’s attacks, hundreds more stood still to remember the 129 people who were killed in the bloodbath.

Large crowds also gathered in silence by the Bataclan music venue where 89 people were died, and outside a nearby bar and restaurant where 15 people were murdered.

Mr Valls comments came as serious questions were being asked of France’s security operation after it emerged one of the fugitives wanted over the Paris bloodbath was arrested then released by police hours after the attacks.

Frenchman Salah Abdeslam, 26, from a suburb of Brussels known as the ‘jihadi’ capital of Europe, is now the subject of a vast international manhunt – after being questioned and let go by officers guarding the Belgian border.

One of his brothers, Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31, was one of seven terrorists who died on Friday night after he blew himself up in a solo attack outside cafe Comptoir Voltaire. He had rented a black Seat found yesterday in Paris packed with AK-47s and ammunition.

The third sibling, Mohammed Abdeslam, was in custody in Belgium last night after being arrested in a Brussels, where the ISIS terror cell may have met before the raid to gather automatic weapons and suicide vests.

French police broadcast the name and image of Salah Abdeslam, a 26-year-old born in Brussels, across Europe, warning that he is very dangerous.

‘Do not intervene yourself,’ his arrest warrant says.

He is believed to have played a key role in planning the operations.

Four French officials acknowledged that police had Abdeslam in their grasp, when they stopped a car carrying him and two other men near the Belgian border early today.

By then, hours had passed since authorities identified Abdeslam as the renter of a Volkswagen Polo that carried hostage takers to the Paris theatre where so many were killed.

Three French police officials and a top French security official confirmed that officers let Abdeslam go after checking his ID.

They spoke on condition of anonymity, lacking authorisation to publicly disclose such details.

It is now known that three of the suicide bombers were French nationals, two of whom lived in the Belgian capital Brussels.

In a further sign of the growing Belgian connection, investigators said two cars used in the violence were hired there.

One was found near the Bataclan venue, and the other in the suburb of Montreuil east of Paris, with a number of AK47 rifles inside.

Witnesses said the second car, a black Seat, was used by the gunmen who shot dozens of people in bars and restaurants in the hip Canal St Martin area of Paris.

The first attacker to be named by investigators was Omar Ismail Mostefai, a 29-year-old French citizen, who was identified by a severed finger found among the carnage at the Bataclan.

Meanwhile, the discovery of a Syrian passport near the body of one suicide attacker has raised fears that some of the assailants might have entered Europe as part of the huge influx of people fleeing Syria’s civil war.Do you want

Greek and Serbian authorities have confirmed the passport was issued to a man who registered as a refugee in October on the island of Leros and applied for asylum in Serbia a few days later.

Clues about the extent of the terror plot have emerged from Baghdad, where senior Iraqi officials told the the AP news agency that France and other countries had been warned on Thursday of an imminent attack.

An Iraqi intelligence dispatch warned that Islamic State group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had ordered his followers to immediately launch gun and bomb attacks and take hostages inside the countries of the coalition fighting them in Iraq and Syria.America are you paying attention

The Iraqi dispatch, which was obtained by the AP, provided no details on when or where the attack would take place, and a senior French security official told the AP that French intelligence gets these kinds of warnings ‘all the time’ and ‘every day.’

Police across France have launched 150 anti-terror raids in five different areas across the country: Jeumont, Grenoble, Toulouse, Lyon and the Parisian suburbs of Bobigny and Saint-Denis

However, Iraqi intelligence officials told the AP that they also warned France about specific details: Among them, that the attackers were trained for this operation and sent back to France from Raqqa, the Islamic State’s de-facto capital.

The officials also said that a sleeper cell in France then met with the attackers after their training and helped them to execute the plan. There were 24 people involved in the operation, they said: 19 attackers and five others in charge of logistics and planning.

Last night French intelligence officials were quizzing a man suspected of being a quartermaster to the Paris murder gang.

The suspect – identified only as ‘Vlatko V’, 51 – had driven 750 miles from Montenegro through Croatia, Slovenia and Austria, before he was stopped on an autobahn in Bavaria last Thursday.

Officers discovered eight loaded AK-47 assault rifles in secret compartments of his Volkswagen Golf. Three handguns, two hand grenades, fuses, detonators and almost half a pound of TNT completed the mini arsenal. Also found in the vehicle were several Parisian telephone numbers and other addresses.

The man, who is Muslim according to unconfirmed reports, has no apparent previous criminal record or specific links to radical Islamists.

PARIS MASSACRE: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR ABOUT THE DEADLIEST TERROR ATTACK TO HIT EUROPE IN A DECADE

At least 129 people are dead, and another 352 injured, after three teams of jihadis struck the Stade de France football stadium, a string of bars and cafes, and then finally the Bataclan concert hall.

FIRST TWO ATTACKS: STADE DE FRANCE

  • The attacks began at 9.20pm at the Stade de France where the French football team was hosting Germany in an international friendly.
  • The game was being watched by 80,000 spectators, among them was President Francois Hollande who had to be evacuated from the stadium.
  • Ahmed Almohammad, 25, from Syria approached the stadium with a match ticket. He was turned away from Gate D after being frisked by a security guard.
  • He backed away from the gate and detonated his vest, killing one other person. A passport was found near his body.
  • A second suicide bomber, Bilal Hadfi, 20, blew himself up near Gate H at 9.30pm. No one else was reported killed. Hadfi is said to have fought with ISIS in Syria.

THIRD ATTACK: LE PETIT CAMBODGE AND LE CARILLON BAR

  • At 9.25pm a separate team of gunmen arrived in a Black Seat and attacked diners at popular Cambodian restaurant Le Petit Cambodge and Le Carillon bar in the trendy Canal Saint-Martin area of eastern Paris, killing 15. The gunmen were using Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifles.

FOURTH ATTACK: LA CASA NOSTRA PIZZERIA AND LA BELLE EQUIPE BAR

  • The same unit then drove about 500 yards to La Casa Nostra pizzeria and opened fire on diners on the terrace of the restaurant, killing at least five people.
  • From there, the militants drove around a mile south-east – apparently past the area of the Bataclan concert venue – to launch another attack, this time on La Belle Equipe bar in Rue de Charonne. At least 19 people died after the terrace was sprayed with bullets at 9.36pm The attackers then drove off.

FIFTH ATTACK: CAFÉ ‘COMPTOIR VOLTAIRE’

  • At 9.40pm, Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31, set off a suicide vest inside cafe ‘Comptoir Voltaire’ on the Boulevard Voltaire and close to the Bataclan theatre. He hired a black Seat car used in the attack, which was found later abandoned with three assault rifles, along with five full magazines. The killers had emptied 11 magazines, firing an estimated 330 rounds.

SIXTH ATTACK: BATACLAN MUSIC HALL

  • At 9.40pm, the third group (believed to be three men and a woman) armed with AK-47s stormed the Bataclan music hall and began shooting members of the crowd. Survivors claim three blew themselves up and a fourth person was shot dead by police before they could detonate their bomb.

SEVENTH ATTACK: NEAR STADE DE FRANCE

  • At around 10.15pm a third blast took place near the Stade de France, this time by a McDonald’s restaurant on the fringes of the stadium. The boom caused terror among spectators who had already been attempting to flee the stadium following the first two explosions. The attacker who detonated his suicide vest was identified as a 20-year-old French man living in Belgium.

Tearful members of the public view flowers and tributes on the pavement near the scene of the concert hall massacre on Friday

AFTERMATH:

  • On Saturday morning, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks across Paris, saying ‘eight brothers wearing explosive belts and carrying assault rifles’ conducted a ‘blessed attack on… Crusader France’.
  • On Saturday morning, the world’s most wanted man, Salah Abdeslam is stopped by French police along with two other men as he approached the Belgian border. He is released after he shows his ID and returns to the Jihadi hotspot of Molenbeek in Brussels where he vanishes.
  • Belgian police launch several anti-terror raids after Abdeslam was identified as having rented a VW Polo used by the Bataclan killers which was found abandoned nearby.
  • One of the Stade de France suspects was found carrying a Syrian passport under the name Ahmed Almohammad who travelled to France as a migrant through Greece on October 3. Ferry tickets reveal he travelled with another man named as Mohammed Almuhamed.
  • However, the French minister of justice Christiane Taubira said on Sunday that the passport under the name Ahmed Almohammad was a fake.
  • Omar Ismaël Mostefai, 29, from Courcouronnes, Paris was also named as a Bataclan suicide bomber. The petty criminal and father-of-one was known to police as a radical and had travelled to Algeria and Syria. He was identified by the fingerprint on a severed digit found after he detonated his suicide belt.
  • Mostefai is believed to have been radicalised by a Belgian hate preacher of Moroccan descent claimed to have regularly preached at his mosque in South West France. His father, a brother and other family members have been held and are being questioned.
  • The black Seat Leon used by the terrorists who murdered diners outside the Casa Nostra pizza restaurant and the La Belle Équipe cafe was found abandoned 20 minutes away in Montreuil with three AK-47s and 16 magazines – 11 of them empty.
  • Seven people were detained in Belgium linked to the atrocities. Five are from the Molenbeek area of Brussels known as a ‘den of terrorists’.
  • Iraqi spies warned the West of an ISIS suicide bomber threat the day before the Paris atrocities, it was revealed on Sunday, as more details of major intelligence failures began to emerge. The US-led coalition in Syria was apparently told by Iraqi security sources that 24 extremists were involved in the terror operation planned in the ISIS capital Raqqa and it would involve 19 attackers including five others including bombmakers and planners. No detail was given of when or where an attack might take place.
  • It has also emerged that Turkey’s authorities foiled a plot to stage a ‘Jihadi John revenge attack’ in Istanbul – involving a high-profile British jihadist – on the same day as the deadly massacre in Paris.
  • From as far back as August, France’s authorities possessed information that militants were said to be planning attacks on French concert halls after a tip-off was received from a 30-year-old man who was detained on his way back from Syria.
  • On Sunday night there were 42 people still said to be in intensive care in hospital following Friday’s terrorist attacks.America Never Forget

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

  • French and Belgian police are still hunting for three gunmen on the run, including Abdeslam, and an ISIS bombmaker likely to have made the suicide vests.
  • An international arrest warrant has been issued for Abdeslam, 26, who is accused of renting a Volkswagen Polo used by the suicide bombers.
  • It emerged on Sunday night that police found Abdeslam near the Belgian border early Saturday but let him go after he showed them his ID card. Officers pulled over the car being driven by Abdelslam on Saturday morning on the A2 motorway between Paris and Brussels. Two other men were also in the car.
  • At the time, officers in Paris knew that Abdeslam had rented the car used by the killers which had been abandoned near the theatre but the information had not been transmitted to those responsible for conducting the border checks.
  • On Sunday evening the French defence ministry announced that the country’s warplanes had bombed Islamic State’s stronghold in Syria’s Raqa, destroying a command post and a training camp, the defence ministry said. Ten fighter jets were involved, dropping 20 bombs.
  • French and Belgian police have conducted more than 150 anti-terror raids, including a botched attempt to capture Abdelsam, who is still on the run.

Francois Hollande has already spoken out against ISIS, confirming that airstrikes will continue to strike 'each time national security is at stake'

But police believe he is linked to organised crime groups in Montenegro that may have agreed to supply weaponry to jihadi groups.

A German intelligence source said police officers blundered by not reporting the seizure to anti-terror specialists in Berlin, who may have alerted France.

It also emerged that French security police arrested a man in August on suspicion of plotting a terror attack on a concert venue.

The man was held just two months after he returned from a six-day trip to Raqqa, Syria.

According to reports, the suspect confessed that he was ordered by an ISIS leader to return to Europe or France to carry out an atrocity and suggested a busy concert hall as an ideal target.

The apparent intelligence failures come amid an ongoing inquiry into the fatal errors by the security services in the lead up to the Charlie Hebdo murders in Paris in January.

Obama in secret pact with world’s largest Muslim country

waving flagPosted By Curtis Ellis On 10/27/2015

President Widodo of Indonesia and Obama of the United States.

muslim-obamaPresident Obama says the U.S. and the world’s largest Muslim country will merge their economies under an agreement whose terms have not been disclosed to Congress or the public. After Obama met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the White House Monday, Widodo said, “Indonesia intends to join the TPP,” referring to the TransPacific Partnership.

Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation in the world with 250 million people. Obama attended elementary school in the country. “I have a very personal interest in Indonesia given the fact that I spent time there as a child and have relatives who are Indonesian,” Obama said.

The TPP is a sweeping global regulatory pact. It establishes an international authority that will write rules for merging the U.S. economy with other countries in the partnership. The administration reached an agreement on the TPP with 11 countries on four continents after negotiations that lasted more than five years. Indonesia was not involved in the negotiations.

But neither Congress nor the public have been allowed to see the final agreement the administration has negotiated. The president has not released the text of the agreement or the numerous side agreements attached to the TPP.Picture2

The administration describes the TPP as a “living agreement” that will be updated and which other countries can join in the future. China, South Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan also have expressed interest in joining the TPP economic union. But it appears the U.S. Congress will not have any say in the matter.Picture2

Earlier this year, Congress granted the president “fast track” trade promotion authority to negotiate the TPP and surrendered its ability to change whatever agreement the president proposes. An amendment to the fast track bill would have required congressional approval before China could join the TPP. But the amendment, opposed by GOP leadership and the president, was defeated.

The unilateral move by the president to bring Indonesia into the TPP confirms charges by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., that Congress will have no role in approving changes as the partnership grows. Sessions read the draft of the TPP agreement earlier this year and described it as “a nascent European Union.”Picture3

Like the European Union, the Transpacific Partnership calls for the free flow of people, goods and capital among member countries. “It’s going to put us in an international commission that allows the sultan of Brunei to have the same vote as the president of the United States,” Sessions said.

Sessions is referring to the TransPacific Partnership Commission, a governing authority created under the agreement, similar to the European Commission that oversees the European Union. This shadowy trans-Pacific body would have vast regulatory powers the details of which the president has refused to disclose to either Congress or the public. But it appears the president has revealed details to Indonesia and other countries it hopes to enlist in the pact. While Obama refuses to show the public the TPP agreement, the president and his surrogates are out selling the pact with a series of speeches and op-eds.

Poll after poll shows the majority of Americans across the political spectrum oppose the TPP. All the leading presidential candidates, including Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, oppose the agreement. Politico reports Republican leaders in the House and Senate want to vote on the TransPacific Partnership in a lame-duck session of Congress after the November 2016 general election. “If it’s such a good deal, then why do they want to keep the American people from having an influence on it?” Sessions asked. “Why don’t they bring it up during the election [campaign] so people can vote and evaluate their representatives on how they vote?”

Workers in Indonesia earn as little $2.50 a day.

Netanyahu: Grand Mufti Made Pact with Hitler, Encouraged Him ‘to Exterminate the Jews’

In a speech delivered on Tuesday at the 37th Zionist Congress, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made waves when he discussed the relationship between Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini.

“Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time, he wanted to expel the Jews. And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, ‘If you expel them, they’ll all come here.’ ‘So what should I do with them?’ he asked. He said, ‘Burn them.’”

The New York Times headline declared, “Netanyahu Draws Broad Criticism After Saying a Palestinian Inspired Holocaust.”

The Guardian published a piece titled, “Anger at Netanyahu claim Palestinian grand mufti inspired Holocaust.”

Countless other mainstream media outlets followed suit, piling on criticism of Netanyahu.

Many media outlets insisted on referring to Husseini as a Palestinian, despite the fact that the leader of the Arabs in British Mandate Palestine would never have been referred to as a Palestinian because that title was sometimes reserved for the Jews living there. In fact, it was PLO leader and Egyptian-born Yasser Arafat who was widely recognized as one of the first leaders of the Palestinian movement, which began as a result of the Arabs’ defeat in the Arab-Israeli war in 1967.

A member of the PLO Executive Committee admitted as much in a 1977 interview when he said: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.”

Netanyahu later clarified that his greater point was to say that, far before the concept of an Arab-Muslim Palestinian ever existed or before the modern state of Israel was declared, Islamic leaders in the land still sought to eliminate the Jews.

“My intention was not to absolve Hitler of his responsibility,” he later explained. “But rather to show that the forefathers of the Palestinian nation, without a country and without the so-called occupation, without land and without settlements, even then aspired to systematic incitement to exterminate the Jews.”

“Hitler was responsible for the Final Solution to exterminate six million Jews; he made the decision,” a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office added. “It is equally absurd to ignore the role played by the mufti, Haj Amin al -Husseini, a war criminal, for encouraging and urging Hitler.”

The Israeli Prime Minister is speaking of the same Mufti who once said, broadcasting in Arabic from Berlin, “Kill the Jews wherever you find them – this is Allah’s will.”

Whether or not the Mufti actually convinced Hitler to go forward with his plans is a fair topic for debate.

However, the Mufti did support and encourage Hitler in his quest for worldwide Jewish extermination, as proven through historical transcripts provided by the U.S. Holocaust Museum.

In November 1941, the two leaders met in Berlin to discuss the future of the Jewish people living in British Mandate Palestine. Hitler told Husseini that the “struggle against a Jewish homeland in Palestine” would be part of his larger efforts against the Jews. Hitler assured him that when the German army advanced on the Middle East, he would announce to the Arab world that “the hour of liberation is at hand.” Their only goal, Hitler said, “would be the annihilation of Jewry living in Arab space under the protection of British power.”

Moreover, according to the prosecution team during the Nuremberg trials, the Mufti did indeed play a role in facilitating the annihilation of European Jews.

“The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry for the Germans and had been the permanent collaborator and advisor of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of the plan… According to my opinion, the Grand Mufti, who had been in Berlin since 1941, played a role in the decision of the German government to exterminate the European Jews,” an SS officer admitted during the trials.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, a man who is revered by some as the founding father of the Palestinian movement, was undoubtedly a supporter of the extermination of Jews, an uncomfortable fact that the international pro-Palestinian Left has not addressed in its criticism of Netanyahu.

North Korea offers U.S. a “peace treaty” or something

waving flagPosted on October 18, 2015 by Jazz Shaw

 North-Korea-Missile

Sea of FireBig news, citizens… the Korean War may be over soon!

Of course, this may come as news to later generations of readers who probably assumed that the war ended back in the 50s. But it never actually ended on paper… they simply came to a truce, putting the war on hold essentially for eternity. (Or at least until now.) But this week the Norks seemed to put an offer on the table to scrap the entire affair once and for all. (Fox News)

North Korea reportedly rejected the idea of resuming rodmantalks to abandon its nuclear program on Saturday, but said it would welcome negotiations for a peace treaty with Washington.

North Korea’s foreign ministry made the North-Korea-Mottostatement one day after President Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-hye said they were ready to open talks with Pyongyang on sanctions if they were serious about dissolving its nuclear Normalprogram, according to Reuters.

“If the United States insists on taking a different path, the Korean peninsula will only see our eating and drinkingunlimited nuclear deterrent being strengthened further,” the North said in a statement.

North and South Korea are still technically at war after signing a truce in 1953 to temporarily end their conflict.

coupSo just to be clear, Kim Jong-un’s people are not talking about stopping or even restricting their nuclear weapons program. They aren’t going to end their saber rattling against their neighbors to the south. In fact, they aren’t going to change a single thing in terms of the reasons that the entire civilized world aside from China and a few other communist holdouts have ostracized them. But they are willing to talk about a peace treaty with the United States.

That’s nice, isn’t it? If it happened it would give

China, North Korea, Confucius Prize, Kim Il Sung, political cartoon

China, North Korea, Confucius Prize, Kim Il Sung, political cartoon

John Kerry a chance to hang another “agreement” on the wall for his legacy as the Secretary of State. (And given what this one would be worth, it’s probably an excellent match for the Iran deal.) But how would this work? During his meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye, Barack Obama said that we were “ready” to talk about an agreement, but that seemed to be based on the idea that North Korea would disarm. Failing to hinder somebody’s nuclear ambitions hasn’t stopped him from coming to the table in the past, however, so what would we be giving up to the Norks for such a deal? No doubt some increases in shipments of food and other humanitarian assistance, as well as some fuel I imagine. And in exchange for that we would get…

A piece of paper???????????????????????

Why would North Korea give up their nukes at this point? They’ve gained the respect they wanted in terms of bringing the real world powers to the table with them and they don’t seem to be in any imminent danger of being attacked. They saw what happened to their partners in Libya when they gave up their program. (Muammar el-Qaddafi was unavailable for comment.) Honestly, why would we waste any more time talking to Kim Jong-un? Unless and until he starts lobbing some actual missiles at someone we’re likely better off leaving his country to starve.

Chinese navy looms as Russia strikes Syrian rebels

TEL AVIV – As Russia’s Caspian Sea fleet launched precision-guided cruise missiles at Syrian rebel positions, a Chinese naval vessel continued to loom menacingly in the background, maintaining its presence in the Mediterranean Sea amid Chinese denials that the People’s Liberation Army will enter the Syrian conflict.

A Middle Eastern defense official affirmed the Chinese military ship is located a short trip of several “hours” from the Syrian coast. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that while China’s intentions are unclear, the vessel’s presence is well known to Middle Eastern and Persian Gulf countries as well as to the U.S. and Russia.

The official said that China is reluctant to directly intervene in Syria or approach Syrian waters unless the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad formally requests the assistance of Chinese military advisers.

Even then, China may only take on an advisory role and not carry out military missions alongside the Russians and Syrians, the official said.

Reconfirming information reported by WND last month, the official said another option being discussed is for the Russian government to make a public gesture toward requesting the Chinese presence.

A Syrian regime source confirmed knowledge of the Chinese vessel and said no decision has been made by Assad’s regime about requesting any Chinese assistance in fighting the years-long insurgency led by Middle East rebels.

Publicly, China has maintained a detached posture toward the Syrian conflict.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the U.N. Security Council last week that “the international community cannot look on without lifting a finger, but also ought not to interfere arbitrarily.”

“A political resolution for the Syrian crisis is the fundamental way out,” he added.

Former Soviet-bloc intelligence chief Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa reveals the secret strategies destroying Western civilization in his book “Disinformation ” and the companion documentary.

And Zhang Junshe, a senior researcher at the PLA Naval Military Studies Research Institute, was quoted by the Chinese Global Times tabloid last week calling reports of a Chinese warship advancing toward Syria “purely rumors.”

Junshe was speaking about the Chinese 152 Fleet, which recently finished an escort mission and in August embarked on a five-month tour to take the fleet from the Gulf of Aden to the Mediterranean Sea and the Baltic Sea.

Junshe said the fleet’s mission was planned before Russia started to act in Syria.

The Middle Eastern defense official who spoke to WND denied a report from Debka.com, a private website headquartered in Israel, claiming the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning-CV-16 has docked at the Syrian port of Tartus, accompanied by a guided-missile cruiser.

The Debka report prompted the chatter about China entering the Syria conflict as did the Lebanese English language website Al-Masdar Al-Arabi, which two weeks ago quoted a senior Syrian Army officer stationed in Latakia as saying “the Chinese will be arriving in the coming weeks” and will join the Russian military there.

On Wednesday, acting from 1,000 miles away in the Caspian Sea, the Russian navy bombarded Syrian rebel positions. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced at a televised briefing that Russian ships launched 26 cruise missiles in Syria, destroying 11 targets.

The Washington Post reported the naval strikes represented the first known operational use of state-of-the-art SSN-30A Kalibr cruise missiles.

Russian President Vladimir Putin boasted the strikes showed the professionalism of Russia’s military.

“We know how difficult it is to carry out this kind of anti-terrorist operation,” Putin said. “Of course, it is early to draw conclusions. But what has been done so far deserves a highly positive assessment.”

obama_vs_putin_by_iamtheunison-d6lugnxThe Russian missiles traversed Iranian and Iraqi airspace, demonstrating clear coordination with both countries.

Iraq announced last week week it recently established an intelligence-sharing platform with the Russians, Syrians and Iranians.

The intelligence coordination could jeopardize U.S. security, because the U.S. maintains its own intelligence-sharing channels with Iraq.

The Russian strikes were backed up by a massive Syrian ground campaign, Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub, chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, told Syria’s SANA state-run media agency.

The agency further reported that following the Russian missile salvo “hundreds of of terrorists were confirmed dead, and tens of armored vehicles, two Grad rocket launchers and a huge ammunition depot were destroyed as a result of the airstrikes.”

Launch of Strong Cities Network to Strengthen Community Resilience Against Violent Extremism

Cities are vital partners in international efforts to build social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.  Local communities and authorities are the most credible and persuasive voices to challenge violent extremism in all of its forms and manifestations in their local contexts.  While many cities and local authorities are developing innovative responses to address this challenge, no systematic efforts are in place to share experiences, pool resources and build a community of cities to inspire local action on a global scale.

“The Strong Cities Network will serve as a vital tool to strengthen capacity-building and improve collaboration,” said Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch.  “As we continue to counter a range of domestic and global terror threats, this innovative platform will enable cities to learn from one another, to develop best practices and to build social cohesion and community resilience here at home and around the world.”

The Strong Cities Network (SCN)  – which launches September 29th at the United Nations – will empower municipal bodies to fill this gap while working with civil society and safeguarding the rights of local citizens and communities.

The SCN will strengthen strategic planning and practices to address violent extremism in all its forms by fostering collaboration among cities, municipalities and other sub-national authorities.

“To counter violent extremism we need determined action at all levels of governance,” said Governing Mayor Stian Berger Røsland of Oslo while commenting on their participation in the SCN.  “To succeed, we must coordinate our efforts and cooperate across borders.  The Strong Cities Network will enable cities across the globe pool our resources, knowledge and best practices together and thus leave us standing stronger in the fight against one of the greatest threats to modern society.”

The SCN will connect cities, city-level practitioners and the communities they represent through a series of workshops, trainings and sustained city partnerships.  Network participants will also contribute to and benefit from an online repository of municipal-level good practices and web-based training modules and will be eligible for grants supporting innovative, local initiatives and strategies that will contribute to building social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.

The SCN will include an International Steering Committee of approximately 25 cities and other sub-national entities from different regions that will provide the SCN with its strategic direction.  The SCN will also convene an International Advisory Board, which includes representatives from relevant city-focused networks, to help ensure SCN builds upon their work.  It will be run by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a leading international “think-and-do” tank with a long-standing track record of working to prevent violent extremism:

“The SCN provides a unique new opportunity to apply our collective lessons in preventing violent extremism in support of local communities and authorities around the world”, said CEO Sasha Havlicek of ISD.  “We look forward to developing this international platform for joint innovation to impact this pressing challenge.”

“It is with great conviction that Montréal has agreed to join the Strong Cities Network founders,” said the Honorable Mayor Denis Coderre of Montreal.  “This global network is designed to build on community-based approaches to address violent extremism, promote openness and vigilance and expand upon local initiatives like Montréal’s Mayors’ International Observatory on Living Together.  I am delighted that through the Strong Cities Network, the City of Montréal will more actively share information and best practices with a global network of leaders on critical issues facing our communities.”

The Strong Cities Network will launch on Sept. 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT, following the LeadersSummit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism.  Welcoming remarks will be offered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein and Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City, who will also introduce a Keynote address by U.S. Attorney General Lynch.  Following this event, the Strong Cities International Steering Committee, consisting of approximately 25 mayors and other leaders from cities and other sub-national entities from around the globe, will hold its inaugural meeting on Sept. 30, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT.

This Is How Russia Handles Terrorists: Moscow Releases Video Of Syria Strikes

This Is How Russia Handles Terrorists: Moscow Releases Video Of Syria Strikes

Now that Russia has officially begun conducting airstrikes on anti-regime forces operating in Syria, commentators, pundits, and analysts around the world will be keen to compare and contrast the results of Moscow’s efforts with the year-old US-led air campaign against ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq.

Clearly, Russia has a very real incentive to ensure that its airstrikes are effective.

Preserving the global balance of power means preserving the Assad regime and, by extension, ensuring that Iran maintains its regional influence.

On the other hand, the US and its regional allies actually have an incentive to ensure that their airstrikes are minimally effective. That is, for the US, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, the idea is not to kill Frankenstein, but rather to ensure that he doesn’t escape the lab.

As we documented earlier today, Russia wasted no time launching strikes against anti-regime targets once the country’s lawmakers gave the official go-ahead and the West wasted no time accusing Russia of breaking protocol by targeting “modetrate” Syrian rebels (like al-Qeada) that aren’t aligned with ISIS.

It’s against that backdrop that we present the following footage released by the Russain Ministry of Defense which depicts the opening salvo in The Kremlin’s battle against terrorism in the Middle East (note the vehicle traveling towards the compound at a particularly inopportune time towards the end).

syria

And predictably, Western media reports regarding civilian casualties and Russia’s alleged targeting of “moderate” rebels (as opposed to ISIS) were countered by Moscow’s sharp-tongued spokeswoman and US foreign policy critic extraordinaire Maria Zakharova.

Via RT:

Russia has struck eight Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) targets in Syria, the country’s Defense Ministry said, adding that “civilian infrastructure” was avoided during the operations.

“Today, Russian aerospace force jets delivered pinpoint strikes on eight ISIS terror group targets in Syria. In total, 20 flights were made,” spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, said.

“As a result, arms and fuel depots and military equipment were hit. ISIS coordination centers in the mountains were totally destroyed,” he added.

Konashenkov said that all the flights took place after air surveillance and careful verification of the data provided by the Syrian military. He stressed that Russian jets did not target any civilian infrastructure and avoided these territories.

“Russian jets did not use weapons on civilian infrastructure or in its vicinity,” he said.

Reuters reported that Russia targeted opposition rebel groups in Homs province instead of Islamic State forces. The agency cited Syrian opposition chief Khaled Khoja, who put the death toll of the bombardment at 36 civilians.

“Russia is intending not to fight ISIL [Islamic State], but to prolong the life of [Syrian President Bashar] Assad,” Khoja said.

Similar claims were made by the BBC, Fox News, Al Jazeera and numerous other news outlets.

Moscow harshly criticized the reports, labeling them an information war.

“Russia didn’t even begin its operation against Islamic State… Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov didn’t even utter his first words at the UN Security Council, but numerous reports already emerged in the media that civilians are dying as a result of the Russian operation and that it’s aimed at democratic forces in the country (Syria),” Maria Zakharova, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, told media.

Maria Zakharova, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman

“It’s all an information attack, a war, of which we’ve heard so many times,” she added.

Zakharova also said that she was amazed by the scale and speed of what she called “info injections” into social networks such as “photos of alleged victims” that appeared on the web as soon as the Russian operation began.

“What can I say? We all know perfectly how such pictures are made,” she said, remembering a Hollywood flick ‘Wag the Dog,’ which described the US media reporting on a fake war in Albania.

For those who missed it, see here for our assessment of the Western media’s take on the first round of Russian airstrikes (and by the way we, like Maria, were surprised at how quickly the propaganda machine kicked into high gear). Here is the bottom line:

The bottom line going forward is that the US and its regional and European allies are going to have to decide whether they want to be on the right side of history here or not, and as we’ve been careful to explain, no one is arguing that Bashar al-Assad is the most benevolent leader in the history of statecraft but it has now gotten to the point where Western media outlets are describing al-Qaeda as “moderate” in a last ditch effort to explain away Washington’s unwillingness to join Russia in stabilizing Syria. This is a foreign policy mistake of epic proportions on the part of the US and the sooner the West concedes that and moves to correct it by admitting that none of the groups the CIA, the Pentagon, and Washington’s Mid-East allies have trained and supported represent a viable alternative to the Assad regime, the sooner Syria will cease to be the chessboard du jour for a global proxy war that’s left hundreds of thousands of innocent people dead.

In accordance with the decision of the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin, warplanes of the Russian Air Space Forces today [Wednesday] have started an aerial operation, involving  pinpoint strikes on ground targets of Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL] terrorists in Syria,” spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, said.

The Russia airstrikes are targeting military equipment, communication centers, vehicles, arms and fuel depots, belonging to IS terrorists, Konashenkov added.

Russia’s Rossiya 24 channel said that the first airstrikes were carried out by two Sukhoi Su-24 attack aircrafts “213km north of [the Syrian capital] Damascus” near the city of Hama.

Meanwhile, Syrian state television has named at least seven areas targeted by Russian air strikes. They include areas around the cities of Homs and Hama, which are separated from each other by 44 kilometers.

Earlier, a US official told Reuters that Moscow gave Washington one-hour advanced notice of its operations. The bombing is taking place in western Syria, near the city Homs, the official added.  A Pentagon official also told Russia’s RIA Novosti that Russia urged the US to clear the skies for the operation. US State Department spokesman John Kirby said that Russia indeed requested that American aircraft avoid Syrian airspace during the Russian air missions, but the US military will not comply.

“The US-led coalition will continue to fly missions over Iraq and Syria as planned and in support of our international mission to degrade and destroy ISIL (Islamic State),” Kirby said.Picture1

Following the reports, Vladimir Putin said all Moscow’s foreign partners have been informed about Russian plans in Syria. During his meeting with the government, the president stressed that Russia’s participation in the anti-terrorist operation in Syria is based on international law and is being conducted “in accordance with an official request from the president of the Syrian Arab Republic [Bashar Assad].”

why

On Wednesday morning, the upper chamber of the Russian parliament unanimously gave formal consent to President Putin to use the country’s military in Syria to tackle Islamic State and other terror groups. The Russian air campaign in Syria is commencing just a few days after Putin’s address at the UN, in which he called for an international anti-terrorist effort in the country. The Russian president also met with US counterpart Barack Obama on the sidelines of the 70th UN General Assembly, with the two leaders agreeing that Moscow and Washington have common interest in Syria.

Obama has turned Putin into the world’s most powerful leader

waving flagBy Benny Avni

The baton was officially transferred Monday to the world’s new sole superpower — and Vladimir Putin willingly picked it up. President Obama (remember him?) embraced the ideals espoused by the United Nations’ founders 70 years ago: Diplomacy and “international order” will win over time, while might and force will lose.

Putin, too, appealed to UN laws (as he sees them), but he also used his speech to announce the formation of a “broad international coalition” to fight ISIS in Syria and Iraq. “Similar to the anti-Hitler coalition, it could unite a broad range of forces” to fight “those who, just like the Nazis, sow evil and hatred of humankind,” he said.

And who’d lead this new coalition? Hint: Moscow has always celebrated the Allies’ World War II victory as a Russian-Putin over Obamaled fete.

Oh, and if anyone wondered which Syrian players the coalition would rely on as allies, Putin made it clear: “No one but President [Bashar al-]Assad’s armed forces and Kurd militia are fighting the Islamic State.” That, of course, isn’t Obama’s view. America’s president said he opposed the “logic of supporting tyrants.” After all, Assad “drops barrel bombs on innocent children.”

But Putin has troops in Syria, is arming Assad to the teeth and signed a pact of anti-ISIS intelligence-sharing with Assad, Iran and the leaders of Iraq (the ones America fought to put in power).Bear

And after meeting Obama for the first time in two years Monday, he spoke vaguely about future “joint air attacks on ISIS.” But no agreement on Assad was reached in the 90-minute meeting.

Meantime, if Obama has any realistic Syria plan of his own — beyond having Assad magically “transitioned” out of the country and simultaneously fighting ISIS — he failed to present it during his UN speech. Or any other time.

Instead, he scolded an “isolated” Putin for using force to annex Crimea and other parts of Ukraine. “Imagine if, instead, Russia had engaged in true diplomacy,” said Obama. “That would be better for Ukraine, but also better for Russia, and better for the world.” Then again, imagine if Obama’s eloquence were backed by, say, American-led NATO. Would Putin so easily be able to eat up Ukraine and take over Syria? Not likely.Stand-Off-590-LA

But even as he chided Russia, China and even Iran for being steeped in the policies of the past, it was Obama who at times sounded like a throwback to days of yore.

His celebration of the United Nations was reminiscent of scenes from 1950s movies that portrayed it as a place where problems are actually resolved. In reality, along the decades (and even more so in the last six years), the UN became so paralyzed that it can no longer serve as arbiter of global security.

Obama’s speech was, as ever, full of promise. His turn from using “might” to claiming to have “right” on his side and relying on diplomacy have led to America’s opening up to Cuba and a key deal with Iran on nukes. But these are yet to yield positive results. “If this deal is implemented,” he said of Iran, “our world is safer.” Big if.Russian-Bear

By contrast, Putin’s deployment of forces in Syria and arming of Assad create facts on the ground. They have also propelled him to the top by taking initiative on today’s most consequential world fight.

Although Obama received much less applause during his Monday speech than in past years, he’s still well-liked at the world body. Yet those who count, the ones he scolded in his speech — Putin, Assad, China’s Xi Jinping and even Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani — weren’t in their seats to hear his words.

Because as forceful as Obama’s words are, they’re rarely backed by action.

Putin? Nobody applauded him. He’s more interested in being feared than liked. Then again, his words, at most, are meant to explain forceful action. That’s how Putin seized leadership from America.FLT-17-590-LI

And that, to borrow from Obama’s speech, is bad for Syria, where the war will continue as long as Assad remains in power. It’s bad for Europe and Syria’s neighbors, which have no idea what to do with that war’s refugees.

And it’s bad for America. Because sooner or later, after more bloodshed and under even worse conditions than now, our next president will be called upon to retake the leadership baton from Putin. And that could prove tricky.

‘Tacit’ deal between US, Russia to end Syria war: Assad adviser

waving flagAFP

Bouthaina Shaaban, a cabinet-level adviser to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, says the US and Russia have reached an unspoken deal to end the Syria war

Damascus (AFP) – Russia and the United States have reached a “tacit agreement” on ending Syria’s bloody crisis, a senior adviser to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has said. “The current US administration wants to find a solution to the crisis in Syria. There is a tacit agreement between the US and Russia to reach this solution,” Bouthaina Shaaban said in an interview with state television late Wednesday.

“The US recognises now that Russia has profound knowledge of this region and a better assessment of the situation,” she said.

“The current international climate is heading towards detente and towards a solution for the crisis in Syria.”

Shaaban said there was a “change in the West’s positions” over Syria’s war, which has killed more than 240,000 people and displaced millions since 2011.

Russia, a decades-long backer of Syria’s regime, has said it would not accept Assad’s departure as a prerequisite for launching any peace process in the war-torn country.

On Wednesday, French President Francois Hollande called for a new Syria peace conference “so that all the countries who want to see peace restored in Syria can contribute.”

While Hollande maintained that there could be “no transition without (Assad’s) departure,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday that the Syrian leader should be involved in the talks.

“We have to speak with many actors, this includes Assad, but others as well,” Merkel told a press conference after an EU summit on the migration crisis sparked by the Syrian war.

The diplomatic flurry came amid concerns about increased Russian military support to Assad, including Moscow’s announcement Thursday that it would hold naval drills in the eastern Mediterranean region in September and October.

On Wednesday, the Syrian military deployed Russian-supplied drones for the first time, a security source in Damascus said.

The army has received new weaponry from Russia for its fight against jihadists, including at least five fighter jets, a senior Syrian military official told AFP.

Putin Deploys 28 Combat Planes in Syria, Taunting West to “Join Forces Against ISIS”

Putin Deploys 28 Combat Planes in Syria, Taunting West to “Join Forces Against ISIS”

Who are the real enemies in the Middle East?

Is it ISIS – ransacking, raping and beheading its way across the region to carve out a new Caliphate and threatening terrorism inside U.S. borders – or is it Putin and his gang, cornering American statesmen in a deadly game of chess that could lead at any time to all-out nuclear war?

The answers may be conflicting, but it is clear that Obama has no idea what he is doing, and no way of containing all that confronts U.S. interests overseas. Check.

With Ukraine still boiling in the background, Vladimir Putin has taken things up a notch in Syria, by deploying 28 combat planes to aid Assad’s regime for reasons that don’t exactly rule out offensive attacks, or downplay concerns about Russian aggression..

This is just the latest and most pointed maneuver in the build-up of what has been dubbed “the largest deployment of Russian forces outside the former Soviet Union” since its collapse.

AFP reported that the Russia has sent in more than two dozen fighter planes to aid Assad against ISIS:

Russia has deployed 28 combat planes in Syria, US officials said Monday, confirming the latest move in Moscow’s increasing military presence in the war-torn nation.

“There are 28 fighter and bomber aircraft” at an airfield in the western Syrian province of Latakia, one of the officials told AFP… A second official… added there were about 20 Russian combat and transport helicopters at the base. That official also said Russia was operating drones over Syria.

This already complicated proxy war is taking on new dimensions, and arming up for a new phase of conflict.

As SHTF recently noted:

Russia’s military build-up in Syria has grown to include the shipment of a half-dozen highly sophisticated battle tanks — and more troops— [the] first clear sign of offensive weapons arriving in Syria,” a defense official told Fox News. “This is the largest deployment of Russian forces outside the former Soviet Union since the collapse of the USSR.”

The catch, of course, is that Russia is preparing to defend Assad against ISIS – not to pick a fight with the West. But looks could be deceiving, and the schism between East and West cuts too deep to allow for a unified front against terrorism.

AFP reports:

The United States has warned that Russian military backing for the Syrian regime only risks sending more extremists to the war-torn country and could further hamper any effort at bringing peace.

Moscow, meanwhile, has been on a diplomatic push to get the coalition of Western and regional powers fighting the Islamic State group to join forces with Assad against the jihadists.

The maneuver is interesting, because evidence continually points towards the covert Western-funding of Islamic State forces, as well as significant overlap between ISIS and anti-Assad rebel forces.

Putin’s latest tact would call the United States on the need to beat back the supposedly-unintentional outgrowth and takeover by the extremist ISIS forces in the region, and prioritize taking out America’s “number one terrorist threat” before belaboring the removal of Bashar al-Assad and empire building in the Middle East.

However, the bulk of United States’ diplomacy so far in the region appears much more concerned with Russia’s overt involvement than with eradicating ISIS forces. Record-sized war games have been acted out by both sides, and many military drills have doubled as stand offs that nearly sparked full-on war, according to reports. Will Putin call their bluff?

And what will it mean for the pending deal with Iran?

There is much, of course, that isn’t being said here, but on the surface, taking ISIS out of the equation would surely be a good thing.

As one commenter stated, “Excellent news. It’s time to get rid of the rebels so Syrians can return home.”

Good idea, only don’t hold your breath.

North Korea is developing the technology to miniaturize its nuclear weapons.

North-Korea-MottoIn what has been a pattern for many years, North Korea is making new threats of nuclear retaliation against its neighbors and the United States. The rogue regime is backing up its threats by announcing it restarted production of nuclear material at its top secret Yongbyon complex, which had been shut down since 2007, according to the BBC.

The director of North Korea’s Atomic Energy Institute said his country was ready to counter any U.S. military aggression with “nuclear weapons any time.” He highlighted that his nation’s scientists “made innovations day by day” to “guarantee the reliability of the nuclear deterrent… as required by the prevailing situation.” He added: “In the meantime, the U.S. anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK [North Korea] that forced it to have access to the nuclear weapons has remained utterly unchanged and instead it has become all the more undisguised and vicious with the adoption of means openly seeking the downfall of the latter’s social system.”

It is unclear exactly what U.S. policy to which the North Korean official is referring.

CNN reports that North Korea is also planning a rocket launch next month to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the communist regime. These launches have been banned by the U.N. Security Council, but North Korea remains defiant.

North-Korea-MissileIn 2012, the rogue regime reportedly successfully launched a satellite into space after multiple failed attempts. “The UN said [the launch] was a banned test of ballistic missile technology and imposed sanctions. Experts say that [weaponized] ballistic missiles and rockets in satellite launches share similar bodies, engines and other technology,” the Daily Mail reports.

“Space development for peaceful purposes is a sovereign state’s legitimate right … and the people of (North Korea) are fully determined to exercise this right no matter what others may say about it,” the director of its Atomic Energy Institute told the Korean Central News Agency. The world will “clearly see a series of satellites soaring into the sky at times and locations determined” by the Workers’ Party.

North and South Korea have remained in a technical state of war since an armistice, not a peace treaty, was signed in 1953. The United States has maintained a troop presence in South Korea since that time. The current U.S. strength is 28,500 military personnel, down approximately 10,000 in numbers from a decade ago.

The U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, Mark Lippert, told CNN that Washington is working with South Korea “to ensure that other allies in the region as well as the U.S. homeland are protected from threats posed by North Korea.”

“We’ve moved, over time, a good deal of missile defense capability to the region,” Lippert said before North Korea issued the statement about its nuclear program. “Ground-based interceptors to Alaska, surface combatants to the Western Pacific, a THAAD battery [Terminal High Altitude Area Defense] on Guam, another radar in Japan in order to be ready and vigilant for anything the North Koreans may or may not do.”

Sea of FireDavid Albright, a former U.N. weapons inspector, believes North Korea likely has between 10 to 15 nuclear weapons now and could have anywhere from 20 to 100 by 2020.

Intelligence agencies believe North Korea is developing the technology to miniaturize its weapons, so they can be mounted on ballistic missiles.

The Wall Street Journal reports: “There’s no hard evidence to show North Korea can make a nuclear device small enough to mount on a long-range missile, but U.S. military officials believe it probably has the ability. Another major technical challenge would be to deliver the bomb to its target successfully using a long-range missile. Experts are generally skeptical that North Korea has solved this problem.”

A letter addressing Muslims that was displayed in a JD Wetherspoon Pub is causing a lot of controversy. The restaurant and pub in Great Britain is now coming under fire after it was posted in their noticeboard section and two customers, one being a Muslim, found it and took a picture of it.

The letter reads:

MUSLIMS. Are you unhappy with our countries? Are you offended by our culture? Would you prefer to live under sharia law?

Then we have a simple solution for you.

Get the f**k out of our countries and go back to the monstrous s**tholes you came from.

You can live under Muslim rule there and enjoy it as much as you like.

PAYPoster-1In a statement, the group said:

“A poster was displayed on the notice board at The Moon on the Square, by a customer at the pub, without the knowledge of the pub staff. “As soon as this came to light, staff immediately removed the discriminatory material. “The customer notice board, which is regularly checked and monitored by staff, has now been completely cleared of all material, whatever the content. “The Moon on the Square is a community pub, proud of its diverse customer base, and has always been fully committed to operating in a non-discriminatory way.”

At Busy Crossing, Pedestrians Need Passport to Enter Mexico

waving flagSAN DIEGO — Aug 20, 2015, By ELLIOT SPAGAT Associated Press

Walking into Mexico at the nation’s busiest border crossing with the United States is no longer an uninterrupted stroll for foreigners. Pedestrians going to Tijuana from San Diego at the San Ysidro crossing must choose between a line for Mexicans who get walk through unchecked, and a line for foreigners who must show a passport, fill out a form and — if staying more than a week — pay 322 pesos, or roughly $20, for a six-month permit.Picture1

Travelers have long followed similar protocol at Mexican airports, but the new border procedure marks a big change at land crossings that weren’t designed to question everyone. Pedestrians and motorists have generally entered Mexico unencumbered along the 1,954-mile border with the United States. “This is about putting our house in order,” said Rodulfo Figueroa, Mexico’s top immigration official in Baja California state, which includes Tijuana.

The switch went off without a hitch late Wednesday. About a dozen foreigners stood in line, directed by English-speaking agents to six inspection booths. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Joel Rios of San Diego, who was headed to Sea of Cortez for a fishing trip, was impressed. “It’s what you see in airports and in other countries, but you’re just not used to it in Mexico.”

Andrew Woodruff, who visits Tijuana bars and casinos about twice a week from the San Diego suburb of El Cajon, worried that lines may eventually become longer, discouraging visitors. “This is going to be a real bear,” Woodruff said after getting his passport stamped in an airy new building that replaced cramped quarters. “I will give more thought to what days and times I come.”Picture2

Motorists will see no change, and if lines get too long, officials say they will also wave pedestrians through.

The changes, which have been in the works for years, come as Donald Trump has surged to the top of the Republican field in the U.S. presidential race. He has insisted that Mexico sends criminals to the U.S. and pledges to build a border wall at Mexico’s expense.  For Mexico, it is a step toward closing an escape route for American criminals who disappear in Mexico. Border inspectors will tap into international criminal databases.Bull

More than 120 Americans expelled from Mexico this year while living in Baja California had arrest warrants in the U.S., according to Figueroa, delegate of the National Migration Institute. Some ordered to leave last year were on the FBI’s most-wanted list.

But authorities say benefits extend beyond stopping unwanted visitors. A recent hurricane stranded twice as many Americans in Cabo San Lucas than U.S. authorities thought were there, Figueroa said, and registering as a foreigner would have made it easier to identify those who needed help.

Figueroa said Mexico can initially process about 1,000 foreigners daily, up from about 50 currently.

“If the line becomes clogged up, we will just let everybody through,” Figueroa said. “If we can’t check everybody, we won’t.”

Figueroa said San Ysidro is believed to be the first U.S. land crossing to have a separate line for foreigners to show passports and that it will serve as a model for others as they are upgraded. Aurora Vega, a spokeswoman for the National Migration Institute, referred questions to other departments. Officials at the Foreign Relations Department and Mexican Embassy in Washington had no immediate comment.

About 25,000 pedestrians (and 50,000 motorists) cross daily at San Ysidro to work, shop and play but it is unclear how many are foreigners in Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says about one-third entering San Diego are U.S. citizens, one-third are U.S. legal residents and the rest are from other countries, largely Mexico. An unknown number have dual citizenship or residency in the U.S. and Mexico.

Both countries have long wrestled with logistical hurdles of stopping people going to Mexico by land. The U.S. occasionally stops motorists and pedestrians as they leave — mainly to check for guns and cash — but it doesn’t have a system to record exits like at airports, seen by many as a significant shortcoming in border security.

Previous efforts to question more foreigners entering Mexico met resistance in Tijuana, whose economy partly relies on Americans who visit restaurants, beaches, doctors and dentists. Lines to enter the United States at San Ysidro have exceeded four hours.

Roberto Arteaga, who has made tacos, shined shoes and sold tickets for private bus and van rides in Southern California during 28 years as a street vendor near the border crossing, says requiring passports and imposing a fee for longer stays sends the wrong message.

“We should be welcoming,” he said during a lull in business. “This will hurt Tijuana’s economy.”

Other crossers said the move was overdue. What did you say 06.jpg

“Anything to keep the country safer is much better for everyone,” Cynthia Diaz of Oceanside, near San Diego, said as she stood in line to return to the U.S with her niece, who visited Tijuana for a root canal. “It’s safer for us on the other side too.”

The Slovakian government will now be accepting Christians who are persecuted by Muslims. The UN is telling Slovakia that they must, as well, take in Muslims, but Slovakia is firmly responding: ‘We will only take Christians!’

Interior ministry spokesman Ivan Metik said that Muslims would not feel at home in Slovakia because there are no mosques in the nation. He said:

We could take 800 Muslims but we don’t have any mosques in Slovakia so how can Muslims be integrated if they are not going to like it here?

Babar Baloch, Central Europe spokesman for the UN’s refugee agency (UNHCR), said:

Resettlement is greatly needed for many refugees who are at extreme risk among the world’s most vulnerable groups. …We encourage governments to take an inclusive approach while considering refugees for resettlement and should not base their selection on discrimination.

But Slovakia is still sticking with what it wants, and that is persecuted Christians.

Hamas ‘accepts terms’ of 8-year truce with Israel

hamasTEL AVIV – Hamas’ political leadership tentatively accepted the terms of an eight-year truce with Israel, according to sources within Hamas. The sources, speaking to WND from the Gaza Strip, said Israel gave support to Egypt to accept a Hamas delegation for further talks on the Out of Rocketsproposed long-term cease-fire. After discussions in Egypt, the Hamas delegation, headed by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, will travel to Qatar and Turkey for more input on the deal, which is being brokered by former Quartet envoy and ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The Hamas sources said the current version of the truce, as accepted in theory by Hamas’s politburo, includes a Hamas pledge to stop all rocket fire from Gaza and to cease digging tunnels into Israel. Hamas-Victory-590-LI-2Hamas also agreed not to operate within 30 meters of the Israeli border, the sources said.

In return, the Hamas sources said, Israel agreed to allow thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to enter the Jewish state for work, a detail that cannot be confirmed with Israeli diplomatic sources. The Hamas sources said Israel will allow for a larger “fishing zone” off the Gaza coast along with a corridor to connect the Gaza coastline to international waters. Israel, however, would still monitor and inspect ships in the area.

Ahmed Yusef, an adviser to Haniyeh, last weekend said significant progress had been made in reaching a long-term cease-fire.

In response to the truce reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement to the media that “there are no meetings with Hamas. There are no direct contacts, no contacts through other countries and no contacts through intermediaries.”

hamasThe statement, however, did not confirm or deny that truce proposals are in the works.

Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported while the “denial published by the prime minister’s bureau is not false” a more complex picture emerges from conversations with a number of Israeli officials, including those involved with the issue. “Israel is not holding negotiations on a cease-fire with Hamas, but it is certainly checking the feasibility of the matter,” one of the Israeli sources told Haaretz.

Russian Warships Dock In Iran for War Training

The war exercises come just weeks after Iran and global powers inked a nuclear accord that will provide Iran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief in return for slight restrictions on the country’s nuclear program. Russian and Iran have grown close in recent years, with delegations from each country regularly visiting one another to ink arms deals and other agreements aimed at strengthening Iran’s nuclear program. Russia and Iran agreed earlier this year to begin construction on several new nuclear power plants. Russia has also agreed to sell Iran a controversial advanced missile defense system that can prevent attacks by Western powers.

The Russian fleet docked in Iran’s port “carrying a message of ‘peace and friendship,’” according to Iranian officials quoted by Fars. The fleet was “welcomed by Iranian naval commanders and staff.” The Russian commander of the fleet is scheduled to hold meetings with “local political and military officials” in Iran’s northern provinces, according to Fars.

Levan Jagarian, Russia’s ambassador to Tehran, reportedly attended the docking ceremony and called for “for boosting mutual ties between the two countries in various fields,” according to the report. The two nations went on to say that “expanding bilateral economic, political, and military cooperation is among the priorities of the visit.”

A Russian fleet also docked in northern Iran in October.

Last week, a senior Iranian naval commander warned the United States against ever taking military action on Iranian interests, claiming that the response would be “unpredictably strong.” “The western media are mocking at the U.S. for speaking of ‘on the table options (against Iran)’ because the U.S. always utters some words without the ability to materialize them,” Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Naval Commander Ali Fadavi was quoted as saying by the country’s state-run press. Iran is “ready to give such a powerful response to the slightest move of the U.S. that it won’t be able to make any other moves,” Fadavi was quoted as saying. The military leader went on to claim that “Iranian Armed Forces are now at the highest level of preparedness” and that “only the dead body of the American troops realizes the power of the Islamic Revolution.”against America

Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon adviser and expert on rogue regimes, said the Obama administration is fundamentally misreading Iran’s intentions in light of the recently inked nuclear accord. “We’re witnessing a new great game, and Obama is so self-centered he keeps playing solitaire,” Rubin said. “Obama simply doesn’t understand that the world is full of dictators who seek to checkmate America. What he sees as compromise; they see as weakness to exploit.”ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ART Indenification of Obama

Referring to a visit last week to Russia by IRGC leader Qassem Soleimani, who is responsible for the deaths of Americans, Rubin said it is clear that Moscow and Tehran aim to build a tight military alliance. “Visiting Russia to talk arms purchases and now this naval visit, it’s clear that Putin and Khamenei will waste no time to really develop their military cooperation,” he said.

An axis between Russia, Iran, and North Korea is beginning to emerge Rubin said, citing official releases that a North Korean delegation is currently visiting Russia to tour war games sites. “The Russian warship visit combined with North Korea scoping out war game sites in Russia suggest a new Axis of Evil is taking shape with Russia the lynchpin between Iran and North Korea,” Rubin said. “As for the United States, rather than the leader of the free world, Obama and Kerry have transformed us in much of the world’s eyes as the pinnacle of surrender.”Pitiful-Deal-NRD-600 IranKerry

Meanwhile, Obama admitted Monday that Iran’s nuclear breakout time will shrink to “a matter of months” once the nuclear accord expires in around 15 years.

The Iran deal will unchain top ayatollah’s terror slush fund

waving flagBy Mark Dubowitz and Jonathan Schanzer

EIKO was founded with the mandate of confiscating property from individuals linked to the shah’s system after the Islamic revolution of 1979. Khamenei broadened the mandate in 1991 to confiscate property from dissidents, too. EIKO officials have included some of Iran’s worst human-rights abusers.

Treasury slapped sanctions on EIKO and its subsidiaries back in June 2013, noting that the purpose of EIKO was “to generate and control massive, off-the-books investments, shielded from the view of the Iranian people and international regulators.” As one senior Obama administration official noted, Iran’s kleptocrats “profit from a shadowy network of off-the-books front companies . . . the Iranian government’s leadership works to hide billions of dollars in corporate profits earned at the expense of the Iranian people.”ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ART

A closer look at EIKO reveals that it maintains a stranglehold on the Iranian economy. The value of EIKO’s real-estate portfolio totals nearly $52 billion. EIKO’s investment arm is worth $40 billion. Its stakes in publicly traded companies total nearly $3.4 billion. EIKO maintains a complex network of front companies and subsidiaries abroad in places like Germany, Croatia, South Africa, the UAE, Turkey and beyond. These businesses were all flagged by the US government for illicit financial practices, including government corruption. As Treasury noted, EIKO made tens of billions of dollars alone through  the exploitation of favorable loan rates from Iranian banks.

muslim-obamaAnd they’ll all soon be off our sanctions list. Not because they have suddenly become legitimate. In fact, there’s no indication that their conduct has changed. The White House is simply trading them in for a purported diplomatic victory — even if it’s a temporary one, given that Iran must only wait 10 to 15 years to inherit a massive nuclear program, a short path to a bomb, intercontinental ballistic missiles and its economy immunized against future sanctions.

No matter how you slice it, this move undermines the mandate of the Treasury Department, which has spent the last decade building a powerful yet delicate sanctions architecture designed to punish Iran for its nuclear mendacity, ballistic-missile development, financial support for terrorist groups and backing of other rogue states like Bashar al-Assad’s Syria.

But above all, the goal was to shield the US-led global financial sector from Iran’s vast network of financial criminals and their illegal transactions.

The Obama Administration continues to insist that the nuclear deal won’t stop America from punishing Iran’s destabilizing activities across the Middle East. They say that the deal will keep sanctions on some of the worst actors within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which directs Iran’s external regional aggression, its nuclear and ballistic missile programs and its vast system of domestic repression. The Guards also control at least one-sixth of the Iranian economy, including strategic sectors — banking, energy, construction, industrial, engineering, mining, shipping, shipbuilding and others.Party of Deciet and lies

But Khamenei is the man who directs the activities of the Guards. Once EIKO is freed from the sanctions list, Khamenei will be free to invest billions around the world with impunity. With the benefit of American sanctions relief, and with the aid of the Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s supreme leader will now be able to tighten his stranglehold on the Iranian people — a side effect of the nuclear deal that has not garnered enough attention. At the same time, he’ll be under fewer restrictions to finance terror and bloodshed around the region.Death to America

Mark Dubowitz is executive director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and its Center on Sanctions and Illicit Finance. Jonathan Schanzer, a former Treasury terrorism finance analyst, is vice president for research at FDD.

Breaking: Iranian Regime Already Breaks Nuclear Deal – Quds Forces Leader Visits Russia

The Iranian regime already broke the the nuclear deal with the West.

Quds Force leader Qassem Soleimani already visited Moscow despite a .
Israeli activist Omri Ceren reported:

muslim-obamaFox News just published an exclusive confirming that Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani just visited Moscow even though he’s under a travel ban and prohibited from leaving Iran by United Nations Security Council sanctions. The article is at the bottom of this email and has details down to the Air Iran flight numbers and times of his arrival and departure.

Evidence of sanctions-busting by Soleimani has the potentially to be politically disastrous for the Obama administration. The Iranian general was originally sanctioned for a wide range of terror activities, including against Americans: U.S. military officials estimate that he has the blood of roughly 500 American soldiers on his hands and that the majority of American causalities during the final two years of Iraq were because of his surrogates [a][b]. The JCPOA lifted many sanctions against Soleimani were lifted under the final JCPOA, generating a flood of criticism and forcing the administration to go into damage control mode.

At first the State Department denied the concession even existed, with Kerry claiming that it was a different Qassem Soleimani who was being delisted [c]. That was false and so the White House quickly had to concede that the general was indeed getting sanctions relief [d].ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ART

If his mouth is open he must be lyingAdministration officials then shifted to declaring that the delisting was the best they could do: it would occur 8 years into the deal, after the UN’s sanctions authority lapsed, and would never occur on a domestic level at all. In the meantime they emphasized that both sets of sanctions would be vigorously enforced at the international level.

A senior administration official told reporters on July 14 “IRGC Commander Qassem Soleimani will not be delisted at the United Nations… [until] 8 years into the deal, so sanctions are not being lifted early on Qassem Soleimani… his designation under U.S. sanctions will in no way be impacted by the [JCPOA]. Since secondary sanctions remain in place on the U.S. side, this means that sanctions on Qassam Soleimani will still have an international effect” Kerry made the same point on July 29 to the Senate Armed Services “under the United States’ initiative… [Soleimani] will never be relieved of any sanctions” [g]. Russia has filed claim with the United Nations for 463,000 square miles of  of the Arctic Ocean, including the North Pole, according to reports.

The territory contains some of the world’s largest untapped reserves of fossil fuels, as well as valuable minerals, reports CNBC.

Russia’s claim is filed under the 1982 U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea, which establishes the rights to exclusive economic zones beyond a nation’s borders.

The convention allows for a 200-mile zone from recognized borders, except where a country can demonstrate that the continental shelf on which it sits actually extends farther then 200 miles. In such cases, the law recognizes a 350-mile limit.

The U.N. rebuffed a similar effort by Russia in 2002.

If the U.N. accepts Russia’s petition this time,  it would give the government of President Vladimir Putin oversight of the the waters on economic matters, including fishing and oil and gas drilling, though will not have full sovereignty, The New York Times says.

Netanyahu on Iran: “This Deal Will Bring War”

waving flagPosted On 05 Aug 2015; By :

Of all the opponents of the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Iran, none have been as outspoken as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. From the start, he has warned anyone who will listen of the folly of trusting Iran with nuclear capabilities. And with Congress in the middle of a 60-day review of the deal, Netanyahu is putting the pressure on U.S. lawmakers.

In an online address to American and Canadian Jews this week, Netanyahu said that Obama’s deal gave the Islamic Republic “two paths to the bomb.” Whether they abide by the agreement or cheat, he said, they will ultimately gain possession of a nuclear weapon. “This deal will bring war,” he said, eschewing Obama’s suggestion that war was the sole alternative to negotiations. “Increase the sanctions, increase the pressure.”

Netanyahu said that the deal would likely lead to the “nightmare” scenario of a Middle Eastern arms race, a concern echoed by many regional experts. Such a scenario could put Israel in extraordinary jeopardy, to say nothing of its effects on the United States. He also warned that Iran was building intercontinental missiles for the express purpose of hitting the U.S.

“Here’s the bottom line,” he said. “Oppose this bad deal.”

Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a viable political strategy for overturning Obama’s deal. Any opposition from Congress will be swiftly vetoed by the president. There’s an outside chance that enough Democrats could cross the aisle to override the veto, but the numbers aren’t promising. And given the track record of Republican lawmakers when it comes to blocking Obama’s agenda, there’s little reason to hope for a miracle.

muslim-obamaThat leaves us to wait and watch and pray that Iran does not have its heart set on a nuke. It feels foolish to even entertain such a notion, but this president has given us no other options. We all know this is going to lead to a disaster down the road, but we are powerless to do anything but stand by and wait for the mushroom cloud. This is the legacy of Barack Obama. To leave the U.S. and her allies in a world of danger.

It would be nice if we were wrong about this one. To think that Iran’s theocracy has turned over a new leaf. That international inspectors will be able to catch cheating in time to prevent tragedy. To hope that someone in the Obama administration actually knows what they’re doing.

But Netanyahu’s warnings, sadly, sound a lot more plausible.

Iran says will ban US experts from UN nuclear inspections

ObamaIranian-Flag-WORD-ARTWhereTEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran will not allow American or Canadian inspectors working for the U.N. nuclear watchdog to visit its nuclear facilities, an official said in remarks broadcast by state TV on Thursday. Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran will only allow inspectors from countries that have diplomatic relations with it. The previously undisclosed remarks were made during a Sunday meeting with parliamentarians. American and Canadian inspectors cannot be sent to Iran,” said Araghchi. “It is mentioned in the deal that inspectors should be from countries that have diplomatic relations with Islamic republic of Iran.”What did you say 06.jpg

He also said inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency will not have access to “sensitive and military Really with logodocuments.”

Iran and world powers reached a historical deal earlier this month aimed at curbing Tehran’s disputed nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions. Western nations have long suspected Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons alongside its civilian atomic program, allegations denied by Tehran, which insists its nuclear activities are entirely peaceful.

The U.S. and Iran severed diplomatic relations after the 1979 Islamic revolution and the hostage crisis at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. Canada closed its embassy in Tehran and suspended diplomatic relations in 2012.

BREAKING: Obama Gives the Green Light to Turkey to MURDER Former U.S. Soldiers Fighting ISIS

waving flagURL of the original posting site: http://conservativetribune.com/obama-green-light-turkey

America has known for a while that President Obama wasn’t helping the fight against the Islamic State group. But allowing another country to openly bomb allies and U.S. veterans fighting terrorism? We never thought that would happen. Unfortunately, though, it has. The White House gave Turkish forces the green light to bomb Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State group, many of which include former American soldiers who have joined up.

According to sources, over 40-50 U.S. soldiers are among the ranks of Kurds fighting the Islamic State. However, Turkey has long viewed Kurdish autonomy as a threat and have included Kurdish groups in their latest bombing attacks inside Syria. And now, they have the White House’s blessing.

The Kurdish peshmerga, which has long been an ally of the United States, issued a statement about the White House’s move on their official Twitter account.

“Msg. to the American people and the US gov. : Is this a penalty because we fought against ISIS instead of the world?” one tweet read. “After the nuclear deal between Iran and US … Kurds= terrorists … Shiite militias (#PMF)= Forces to protect human rights.” (H/T Gateway Pundit)

We’ve previously reported on Americans fighting with the Kurdish forces. One of them is Jordan Matson, a 28-year-old from Sturtevant, Wisc.

“I was looking for a way to join one of the militias fighting against ISIS over a year ago, because NATO wasn’t really taking any action as ISIS grew,” Matson said when he asked why he went over to fight with the Kurds.

“They said it was an Iraqi problem,” he added. “And that didn’t sit well with me, especially after of all the blood that was shed here by — I’m former military, so my brothers in arms.”

muslim-obamaThese are the men that Obama sees fit to bomb. The Iranians, meanwhile, try to build a nuclear weapon to attack either America or our allies, and we give them a sweetheart deal that allows them to continue developing nuclear weapons.

Thirty years ago, it was actually dangerous to be an enemy of the United States. Now, as we turn a blind eye to the slaughter of these valiant Kurds and Americans fighting against our common enemy, it’s fatal to be our friend

‘Sheer insanity’: Iran-deal critics go nuclear on Obama

Secretary of State John Kerry (far right) negotiates with Iranians
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry (far right) negotiates with Iranians

muslim-obamaWASHINGTON – Criticism of President Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran has been fast and furious. “I don’t trust Obama on this anymore than I trusted him on ‘if you like your plan, you can keep your plan,’” talk-show host Laura Ingraham told WND. She added, “Elections have consequences—from our health-care system, to the definition of ‘marriage,’ to our military strength, to now our national security, Barack Obama has, indeed, ‘fundamentally transformed’ America.”

Sheer insanity

“This is sheer insanity,” Iran expert Clare Lopez told WND. “This agreement legitimizes Iran’s overt nuclear weapons program and provides both cover and funding for its clandestine nuclear weapons program, with extra financial bonuses for its global terrorist network,” said the vice president for research and analysis at the Center for Security Policy.

In a dawn speech from the White House on Tuesday, Obama proclaimed, “[W]e have stopped the spread of nuclear weapons in this region,” but a parade of ferocious critics claimed just the opposite.DO NOT JACKASS

Iranian jackpot

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu feared the worst, saying, “From the initial reports we can already conclude that this agreement is an historic mistake for the world.” He predicted, “Iran is going to receive a sure path to nuclear weapons.”  “Iran will get a jackpot, a cash bonanza of hundreds of billions of dollars, which will enable it to continue to pursue its aggression and terror in the region and in the world,” said the prime minister. “One cannot prevent an agreement when the negotiators are willing to make more and more concessions to those who, even during the talks, keep chanting: ‘Death to America,’” Netanyahu concluded.

License to kill

By contrast, Obama said he hoped the deal would cause Iran to choose a “different path, one of tolerance, of peaceful resolution to conflict.” He also predicted a greater chance of war in the Mideast if Congress rejects the deal.More Evidence

Former Israeli military spokeswoman Miri Regev said, instead, it gave Iran a “license to kill.”

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely called it “a historic surrender by the West to the axis of evil headed by Iran.”

Alinsky affectHillary blames Bush

Hillary Clinton didn’t fully endorse the deal in public, but she reportedly did in private, during a meeting with congressional Democrats. During a brief press conference on Capitol Hill, the presidential candidate and former secretary of state merely called the deal “an important step,” one that “puts a lid on Iran’s nuclear programs.” But, behind closed doors, Clinton gave the deal a “full-throated” endorsement, according to Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va.. Rep. Steve Israel, D- N.Y., said Clinton even blamed President George W. Bush for Iran’s nuclear proliferation.

According to the congressman, Clinton said it would hypocritical for Republicans to criticize Obama’s deal because, “[F]or eight years under George Bush, the Iranians built two nuclear facilities and they mastered the nuclear fuel cycle and enhanced the number of centrifuges spinning.”

Red lines become green lights

However, Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, a senior member of the Foreign Relations Committee, said, “The bottom line is: The deal doesn’t end Iran’s nuclear program — it preserves it.”  “I’m concerned the redlines we drew have turned into green-lights; that Iran will be required only to limit rather than eliminate its nuclear program, while the international community will be required to lift the sanctions, and that it doesn’t provide for anytime-any-place inspections of suspected sites,” he said in a statement.

Catastrophic

Leading GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump summed up the deal as, “Iran gets everything and loses nothing.” He predicted, “The inspections will not be followed, and Iran will no longer have any sanctions.” Trump called the agreement very dangerous and ” a horrible and perhaps catastrophic event for Israel.”Why

The busniessman analyzed the deal harshly, stating, “[W]e should have kept the billions of dollars we have agreed to pay them. Any great dealmaker would know this is a perfect example of ‘tapping along’ and because they have been unchecked for so long throughout this extremely lengthy process, I guarantee they are much closer to producing a nuclear weapon than they were at the start of negotiations.”

Trump sized up the Obama administration as “incompetent leaders and even more incompetent negotiators.”

Death sentence for Israel

“A possible death sentence for the nation of Israel” that will “make everything worse” is how Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., described the deal on MSNBC. ‘This is most dangerous, irresponsible step I’ve ever seen in the history of watching the Mideast,’ said the presidential candidate. “With this deal, you’ve ensured that the Arabs will go nuclear. You have put Israel in the worst possible box. This will be a death sentence over time for Israel if they don’t push back. You put our nation at risk….Barack Obama and John Kerry have been dangerously naive about the Mideast in general. They’ve taken it to a new level and any senator who votes for this is voting for a nuclear arms race in the Mideast,” he said in reference to the Corker bill, which requires a vote by two-thirds of Congress to reject the deal. Congress now has 60 days to review the deal and to try to stop it with legislation.

However, Obama, promised to veto any attempt by Congress to stop the deal, saying, “I am confident that this deal will meet the national security interests of the United States and our allies.”Constancy

Betrayal

Another presidential candidate, Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wisc., bluntly declared, “President Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran will be remembered as one of America’s worst diplomatic failures.” Announcing his candidacy on Monday, Walker promised to “terminate” the deal on his first day in office.

Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, called it a ” staggeringly bad deal” and a “mistake of historic proportion. It is a fundamental betrayal of the security of the United States and of our closest allies, first and foremost Israel.” Cruz added that it seemed “President Obama would concede almost anything to get any deal – even a terrible deal.”B2A_FvyCMAE14px

GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina disputed Obama’s claim the deal will stop a Mideast nuclear arms race, noting, “Our Arab allies have said just the opposite, so has Israel, so there is reason for suspicion here that’s not partisan. Saudi Arabia and Israel, as we know, don’t agree on very much, but they do agree that this is a bad deal,” she said on CBS.

Shame on Obama

Republican presidential hopeful and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said, “Shame on the Obama administration for agreeing to a deal that empowers an evil Iranian regime to carry out its threat to ‘wipe Israel off the map’ and bring ‘death to America.’ John Kerry should have long ago gotten up on his crutches, walked out of the sham talks, and went straight to Jerusalem to stand next to Benjamin Netanyahu and declared that America will stand with Israel and the other sane governments of the Middle East instead of with the terrorist government of Iran,” he added.

Another presidential candidate, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said Obama gave “concession after concession to a regime that has American blood on its hands, holds Americans hostage, and has consistently violated every agreement it ever signed.”Iran Close to a Deal

He predicted Congress will reject the the deal because it “undermines our national security.”

Appeasement, not diplomacy

Another GOP presidential candidate, Jeb Bush, said, “This isn’t diplomacy – it is appeasement.” He labeled the agreement as “dangerous, deeply flawed, and short sighted,” and complained, “A comprehensive agreement should require Iran to verifiably abandon – not simply delay – its pursuit of a nuclear weapons capability.”

Presidential contender Rick Santorum blasted the deal as “a catastrophic capitulation” that give Iran “legitimacy” in the international community.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, another presidential candidate, said “While Secretary Clinton has been the architect of President Obama’s foreign policy, she can do the right thing and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and oppose this deal.”

Clinton’s rival for the presidential nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., maintained, “This is a victory for diplomacy over saber-rattling and could keep the United States from being drawn into another never-ending war in the Middle East.”Keys taken

Dangerous game

GOP presidential hopeful, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Obama was “playing a dangerous game with our national security. The deal threatens Israel, it threatens the United States, and it turns 70 years of nuclear policy on its head,” Christie said. “I urge Republicans and Democrats in Congress to put aside politics and act in the national interest. Vote to disapprove this deal in numbers that will override the President’s threatened veto.”

Obama claimed, “This deal is not built on trust” because “it is built on verification,” but a chorus of critics strongly disputed that.If his mouth is open he must be lying

Worse deal than imagined possible

“It’s a deal worse than even we imagined possible,” said Weekly Standard editor William Kristol. “It’s a deal that gives the Iranian regime $140 billion in return for … effectively nothing: no dismantlement of Iran’s nuclear program, no anytime/anywhere inspections, no curbs on Iran’s ballistic missile program, no maintenance of the arms embargo, no halt to Iran’s sponsorship of terror.”

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said the deal will secure Iran’s pathway to a bomb, and that, “This deal will guarantee Iran the capability to carry out its clear intent.”

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., added, “I don’t know what information the Obama administration possesses that indicates this deal will actually prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon or will cause the mullahs to reduce their support for worldwide terrorism, but it sure isn’t the same intelligence we’re seeing in the Intelligence Committee.”

Threat to civilization

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas warned the deal was “disastrous for the future of the United States,” an “ultimate betrayal of Israel, Egypt and moderate Muslim nations,” and, “a devastating threat to civilization which must not be ratified” by Congress. The congressman observed the agreements reported provisions include “the lifting of the embargo on arms being sold to Iran; Iran will be allowed to keep its military sites off-limits ‘for a time;’ Iran can veto any nuclear inspections that were supposed to be allowed ‘anytime, anywhere;’ no nuclear facilities will actually be dismantled; and Iran will be ever closer to making good on its promise to try to wipe Israel off the map.” Gohmert concluded, “The Obama-Kerry deal agrees to the release of tens of billions of dollars to Iran that unquestionably will include money used to terrorize and kill Americans, Christians, Jews and moderate Muslims the world over.”

Paves path to Iranian nuke

Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security and a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, said, “This Iran deal gives (Iranian Supreme Leader) Ayatollah Khamenei exactly what he wants: billions of dollars in sanctions relief, validation of the Iranian nuclear program, and the ability to stymie inspections. It even lifts sanctions against Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani, who is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers during the campaign in Iraq,” he added. “The deal will further destabilize the Middle East, allow Iran to foment more terrorism, and aid Iran’s rise as the dominant power in the region. By paving Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon, the deal harms American national security and effectively stabs our close ally Israel, which Iran has threatened to wipe off the map, in the back. Congress needs to move swiftly to block this dangerous deal.”

“This act of appeasement by the Obama Administration now legitimizes both Iran’s path to nuclear weapons and the terrorist regime itself. It endangers the national security interests of the U.S., Israel, and allies across the word,” said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton. “Not only can Iran continue to pursue its 30-plus year objective of pursuing deliverable nuclear weapons, but the regime, the leading state sponsor of terror for over 35 years, is also free of global financial sanctions. Ultimately, we will see that Obama has capitulated to Iran’s demands, and this agreement is simply a pit stop between one set of negotiations and the other,” he added.

Historic victory for Iran

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C. said, “The nuclear agreement is a historic victory — for Iran. For the last 18 months the Obama Administration made concession after concession to the rogue regime in Tehran, while taking the most basic demands off the table to try to secure a deal. I warned when the framework agreement was released that it relied on blind faith in a notoriously dishonest regime.”Non-Negotiable-600-LI

He added, “The fact that the President came out today and threatened to veto any legislation that could potentially block the deal’s implementation is particularly concerning. If the deal is in fact strong, why is the President worried that Congress may reject it? Could it be the same reason why the Iranian regime is celebrating their victory? This historic deal requires strict scrutiny by Congress and I will not support any deal that puts the safety and security of the American people at risk.”

Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, called it “worse than no deal at all” because it “removes sanctions without robust means of ensuring the regime’s disarmament and compliance with its international obligations.”

“Sadly, the Administration just lit the fuse for a nuclear arms race in the Middle East,” said Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb. “We all know Iran’s neighbors will not sit idly as the world’s largest state-sponsor of terror becomes a nuclear-threshold state.”

Strengthens Iran’s ‘constructive’ role

Ordinary Iranians celebrated the deal in the streets and on twitter. Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called it a “win-win solution” that builds a “new chapter of hope.” In a nationwide televised address Tuesday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani claimed, “Iran has never sought to manufacture a nuclear weapon and will never seek to manufacture a nuclear weapon.”

Secretary of State John Kerry called it “the good deal that we sought.”

European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said the deal was “a sign of hope for the entire world.”

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, said the agreement “secures our fundamental aim — to keep Iran from developing a nuclear weapon — and that will help to make our world a safer place.”

“We are certain that the world heaved a sigh of relief today,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Russia will do its utmost to make sure that the Vienna agreement is fully implemented, thus contributing to the international and regional security.”

A Vatican spokesman said the agreement “is viewed in a positive light” by Pope Francis.

A spokesman for Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the deal would be “a catalyst for regional stability.”

Syria’s President Bashar Assad called it “a historic turning point” which will lead to “strengthening of the constructive role played by Iran in supporting the rights of nations.”

Iran took yes for an answer

The deal is supposed to delay the amount of time required for Iran to assemble a nuclear weapon from a few months to a year, which Western leaders hope would give them enough time to stop Iran from using such a device. But many fear the agreement will just give Iran the cover it needs to complete its work in secrecy, and that the U.S. conceded far too much to the Islamic Republic.

The problem for the Obama administration had been, “Iran won’t take ‘yes’ for an answer,” a Capitol Hill source told WND on Monday. Critics say the reason Iran had refused to take yes for an answer was that the Obama administration had conceded on virtually every key demand, so the Iranians just kept demanding more.
