By Fred Lucas – AlphaNews.org – Oct 23, 2025

“Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our republic, and every illegal vote dilutes the voice of law-abiding American citizens,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
(The Daily Signal) — Two-thirds of state attorneys general have jumped into the fray over a potential federal rule to require proof of citizenship for voting forms.
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission, a four-member federal panel, will review a petition started by watchdog group America First Legal to add the requirement on the federal voter registration form.
Now, 19 Democrat attorneys general—led by Rob Bonta of California—oppose such a rule, and 14 Republican attorneys general—led by Ken Paxton of Texas—support it…READ MORE

JUST IN: President Trump Increases Tariffs on Canada in Blistering Statement After Government of Ontario Plays Deceptive Reagan Ad During World Series

By Cristina Laila – The Gateway Pundit – Oct 25, 2026

President Trump on Saturday increased tariffs on Canada by 10% over what they are paying now after the government of Ontario played the deceptive Ronald Reagan ad during the World Series.
“Canada was caught, red handed, putting up a fraudulent advertisement on Ronald Reagan’s Speech on Tariffs. The Reagan Foundation said that they, “created an ad campaign using selective audio and video of President Ronald Reagan. The ad misrepresents the Presidential Radio Address,” and “did not seek nor receive permission to use and edit the remarks,” President Trump said on Truth Social.
“The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is reviewing its legal options in this matter.” The sole purpose of this FRAUD was Canada’s hope that the United States Supreme Court will come to their “rescue” on Tariffs that… READ MORE

DEMOCRAT BACKFIRE: The Government Shutdown Has Awakened the Public About How Many People Are on Food Stamps

By Mike LaChance – The Gateway Pundit – Oct 27, 2025

One aspect of the government shutdown that probably wasn’t anticipated by Chuck Schumer and other Democrats, is that it has revealed to the public just how many people receive food stamps.
Years ago, when the program was still called ‘food stamps’ it was seen as something that struggling families might use temporarily to get through a hard time. Then it was re-branded as the ‘SNAP’ program and destigmatized. People were encouraged to enroll. Now there are many more people using the program, many who probably don’t even really need it.
The longer the shutdown goes on, the more reports there are about this and it’s stunning to taxpayers who did not realize until now how incredibly huge this is… READ MORE

Washington Post: Some Democrats Now ‘Growing Anxious’ About What a Zohran Mamdani Victory Will Mean for Their Party

By Mike LaChance – The Gateway Pundit – Oc 28, 2025

A new report from the Washington Post claims that some Democrats are getting nervous about what a win for Zohran Mamdani in New York City would mean for their party in the long term. They are not alone.
Even Bill Maher expressed concerns about this on his show last Friday night.
The Democratic Socialist (communist) candidate has very little experience and has promised the moon and more to his loyal supporters. Rank and file Democrats, who have fought the ‘socialist’ label for years, now realize that there will be no escape from that in the future if Mamdani wins and becomes the face of the party.

Democrats Admit They’re Using Your Pain as “Leverage”

By: Jimmy Parker | October 24, 2025

Read more at https://pagetraveler.com/democrats-admit-theyre-using-your-pain-as-leverage/

Every so often, a politician says the quiet part out loud — and this week, it was Democratic Minority Whip Katherine Clark. During an interview with Fox News, Clark admitted that the suffering American families endure during the government shutdown is being used as leverage by Democrats. Her words: “It is one of the few leverage times we have.”

That’s right. The party that claims to “fight for working families” is openly admitting they’re willing to use those same families as bargaining chips. Meanwhile, paychecks for active-duty military, border agents, and federal workers hang in the balance — all so Democrats can try to score political points against a newly elected Republican majority.

Elections Have Consequences

Let’s be clear: elections have consequences. The American people went to the polls and voted for a Republican-controlled House and Senate because they wanted a course correction — less spending, more accountability, and some sanity in Washington.

But instead of respecting that outcome, Democratic leaders are throwing a political tantrum. They’ve blocked Republican funding bills not once, not twice, but repeatedly — even when those bills included pay for the troops and essential federal employees. Apparently, “democracy” only counts when Democrats win.

The “Leverage” Logic That Hurts Working Families

Think about that word — leverage. It’s a term you’d expect to hear in a boardroom, not from elected officials talking about Americans who can’t pay rent because their government paycheck hasn’t arrived. When Clark and her colleagues say “leverage,” they mean real people’s pain — service members, air traffic controllers, border agents, and law enforcement officers who show up to protect this country even when their checks don’t. Democrats are using those same Americans as pawns, all while claiming the moral high ground. It’s political theater at its worst — and hardworking citizens are stuck paying the ticket price.

Fetterman Breaks Rank — And Brings Common Sense

Senator John Fetterman — lately known for breaking with his party — sees the problem. Fetterman said plainly that he’ll “always vote to pay the military over the party.” It’s rare to hear a Democrat choose country over politics, but at least someone on that side of the aisle remembers what duty looks like.

The Double Standard on Display

Let’s not forget when Republicans even hinted at delaying a spending bill in the past, Democrats and their media allies screamed about “holding the government hostage.” But now, with Democrats using a shutdown as political leverage? Crickets. Apparently, it’s only a “crisis” when Republicans do it.

And while ordinary Americans are tightening belts and waiting for Washington to wake up, lawmakers are still getting paid. Maybe if Congress missed a few paychecks of their own, “leverage” would suddenly feel a lot less appealing.

What This Shutdown Really Reveals

The shutdown fight isn’t just about numbers on a budget spreadsheet — it’s about priorities. Republicans are trying to fund the government responsibly, pay our troops, and keep essential services running. Democrats, on the other hand, are focused on using the pain of the American people to “negotiate.”

It’s a clear message: when power is on the line, your paycheck is just another tool in the political toolbox.

Time to Stop the Games

If Democrats really cared about working Americans, they’d stop blocking clean funding bills and stop treating the military like bargaining chips. Republicans have given them chance after chance to do the right thing. Instead, Democrats are doubling down on the idea that pain equals power — and it’s shameful.

This shutdown isn’t about principle anymore. It’s about pride, politics, and preserving control. The American people deserve better than being used as “leverage.”

“We May Be Nearing” when “the Resistance Looks Completely Different”: Democrat Leaders Ramp Up Resistance Rhetoric

By: Jonathan Turley | October 24, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/24/we-may-be-nearing-when-the-resistance-looks-completely-different-democrat-leaders-ramp-up-resistance-rhetoric/

Despite calls for many Democratic politicians and pundits to temper their inflammatory rhetoric, this week has proven a further escalation in this dangerous form of rage rhetoric. DNC Chair Ken Martin just told MSNBC’s “The Beat” that “we may be nearing” the moment when “elections don’t matter and then the resistance looks completely different.” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called on people to “forcefully rise up.” With political violence on the rise, these leaders are clearly fueling the mob in hopes that they and their party can ride the wave of rage back into power.  History suggests that it is a foolish delusion. Today’s revolutionaries quickly become tomorrow’s reactionaries.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., who pictures himself brandishing a baseball bat has previously called upon people tofight in the streets.” California Governor Gavin Newsom previously declared, “I’m going to punch these sons of bitches in the mouth.” Virginia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger  called upon her supporters to “Let your rage fuel you.” She then refused to withdraw her support for the Democratic candidate for Attorney General, Jay Jones, who once expressed his desire to kill his political opponents and his children.

In his podcast with co-host Al Hunt, James Carville was again spewing unhinged hate. He returned to treating Trump and others as Nazis and their supporters as “collaborators.”previously criticized Carville for that analogy. He later attacked me.

Doubling down, Carville declared

“You know what we do with collaborators? I think these corporations, my fantasy dream is that this nightmare ends in 2029 and I think we ought to have radical things. I think they all ought to have their heads shaven, they should be put in orange pajamas and they should be marched down Pennsylvania Avenue and the public should be invited to spit on them.”

To be sure that his menacing words were not lost, he then added “The universities, the corporations, the law firms, all of these collaborators should be shaved, pajamaed and spit on.”

There was no later push back by his co-host Hunt or anyone else associated with the podcast.

As one of those Carville has already attacked, I expect he has a haircut and public humiliation in mind for me and a significant number of others deemed insufficiently committed to the resistance.

Even with the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the attempts on Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh, these politicians and pundits are still fueling the madness. Even with the sniper attack on ICE officers, they are still calling these law enforcement officers “Gestapo” and “Nazis.”

In my book, “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage, I write about rage and the uncomfortable truth for many engaging in rage rhetoric:

“What few today want to admit is that they like it. They like the freedom that it affords, the ability to hate and harass without a sense of responsibility. It is evident all around us as people engage in language and conduct that they repudiate in others. We have become a nation of rage addicts, flailing against anyone or anything that stands in opposition to our own truths. Like all addictions, there is not only a dependency on rage but an intolerance for opposing views. … Indeed, to voice free speech principles in a time of rage is to invite the rage of the mob.”

The appearance of guillotines has become commonplace in left-wing protests. From protests against Trump to those against Israel, the symbol of the Terror is being rolled out as a warning to those with opposing views: “We got the guillotineyou better run.”

It is the ultimate expression of an age of rage. There is no question that it is protected speech. However, it is part of what I have called “rage rhetoric,” and it is meant to inflame others. It suggests that the only solution to these issues is what the French called “the razor of the Republic.” In the French Revolution, the irony is that those who turned the guillotine into the symbol of revolution were themselves beheaded on the same platforms. Robespierre and others would ultimately be dispatched in the same atmosphere of rage and revelry.

As my new book discusses, most revolutions are driven by establishment figures who seek to capitalize on the wave of popular rage to gain power. We are seeing that today with many Democratic leaders using rage rhetoric to appeal to the far extremes of their political bases. Some have. Protesters are burning cars, dealerships, and even lawyers and reporters on the left are throwing Molotov cocktails at police.

In the end, today’s pseudo-revolutionaries are likely to find themselves tomorrow’s reactionaries. Leading mobs is rarely a safe place to be as more radical elements take hold of a movement. The result is an inexorable pattern that runs throughout history as revolution devours its own.

Hunter Biden’s “Privilege” Party and the Left’s Double Standard

By: Kevin Jackson | October 22, 2025

Read more at https://theblacksphere.net/2025/10/hunter-bidens-privilege-party-and-the-lefts-double-standard/

Hunter Biden, Kevin Jackson

Hunter Biden: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

If there’s a grand prize in America’s Dysfunction Olympics, Joe Biden handing a full, cosmic-scale pardon to his own son would be the soaring triple backflip onto a bed of rose petals. What Biden did was political malpractice—wrapped in gold foil. And now Hunter Biden dares to admit this divine clemency a symbol of “privilege.” He then lambasts Donald Trump’s supposed “revenge tour” like a schoolyard victim whining about a bully.

Pardon, Privilege, and the Perverse “Narrative”

Let’s parse the spectacle:

On December 1, 2024, Joe Biden issued a full and unconditional pardon for all federal offenses his son may have committed from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024—including tax and gun charges, and even hypothetical future ones. This pardon came after repeated promises that Hunter would not be pardoned. The turnaround smacked of desperation.

Now, Hunter says he’s “incredibly grateful” and realizes how privileged I am,” but also claims that his father would not have pardoned him had Trump not won. He also invokes the specter of Trump’s “revenge tour,” arguing that he would’ve been the “easiest target,” somehow vulnerable enough to silence the entire Biden clan.

Hunter got off scot-free from genuine crimes (remember, tax evasion and firearm charges are not made-up). Now, he piously “admits” that he was privileged—all while casting himself as a persecuted innocent. That’s not humility; that’s hubris in the shape of a press release.

A Hypocrisy So Thick You Could Swim In It

1. Selective “Justice” for the Elite

If you tell the average American they’ll be jailed for delinquent taxes, ignoring them won’t work; they’ll still get prosecuted. But if your last name is Biden, the rulebook says exception. That’s not theory; it’s been practiced. The Washington establishment has long operated under one law for the powerful, another for the powerless.

Democrats screamed about the “rigged justice system” when Trump was investigated, but now they rig it for their own. That’s not consistency—it’s con artistry.

2. The Political Panic Pardons

Wrapping a pardon like a political grenade isn’t rare. Presidents have always pardoned cronies, allies, or inconvenient truths. But pardoning his own son—and one embroiled in crime, addiction, and scandal—is not just nepotism; it’s betrayal of the public trust. The Left used to pretend pardons are about mercy or reform. But in this case, the only mercy is for the powerful.

3. The “Revenge Tour” Fairy Tale

Hunter claims Trump is on a “revenge tour”—as though Trump sat in some shadow room with a red ledger, marking off names. But which evidence supports that? We saw him challenge unconstitutional actions, purge bureaucrats tied to past vindictive investigations, and strip security clearances from politicized deep-state actors.

That’s not obsession—it’s course correction. Trump doesn’t lash out randomly; he goes after institutional rot. If Joe Biden’s legacy was built on family shenanigans and corruption, then yes, Hunter looked over his shoulder—but that’s on the family for being vulnerable, not on a president for doing his job.

Why Hunter Should Shut His Mouth (And Maybe Hide Under a Rock)

Here’s what’s guaranteed: the more Hunter talks, the worse it gets. If he keeps playing victim, it reminds people why he was pardoned—to defang him as a target. His own words confirm that. And if he speaks with indignation, he resurrects interest in the crimes he claims were swept under the rug. Then, if he rails about Trump, he writes his own invitation: “Put my name back under the microscope.”

Truthfully, if he’s smart (he’s not), he’ll go underground, live quietly, and let Joe’s pardon do its job.

Hunter Claims He Could Have Beaten the Wrap

Hunter alluded that he would have argued that the prior prosecutions were politically motivated or inconsistent, and that every person deserves due process. Let’s call this “The Leftist Defense”, and surely one that Big Tish, Comey, and Jack Smith will all deploy, unsuccessfully. Clearly, Hunter wants the world to believe that Trump’s DOJ would have weaponized charges against him or his family relentlessly—thus the pardon was a shield, not a favor.

Finally, you know that Biden would have used his addiction as an excuse. Addiction has been his scapegoat for years. For him, addiction trump’s culpability, and that mercy has a place in justice.

Rebirth of the Two-Tiered Justice System

If you have power and connections, you go free. If you don’t, you go to jail. That’s the American dream inverted, and it’s rotting from the top down.

A president—even one from the Left—who pardons his own child weaponizes the very office meant to temper excess. It’s one thing to help others; it’s another to help your own at the expense of fairness.

Hunter Biden’s remarks do one useful thing: they confirm what most people already suspected. He got a pardon not as redemption, but as immunity. He’s not a contrite citizen; he’s a walking monument to corruption’s soft power.

He can call it “privilege.” It is. He can blame it on a “revenge tour.” It’s not. He can cry crocodile tears about being a target. He wasn’t. But none of that changes the truth: he got a pardon meant to sanitize him. He got an escape hatch welded shut from accountability. And that, dear reader, is not scandal — it’s statecraft in the wild hands of the well connected.

“What am I Willing to Burn”? Howard Journalism Professor Calls for Whites to Emulate John Brown

By: Jonathan Turley | October 23, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/23/what-am-i-willing-to-burn-howard-journalism-professor-calls-for-whites-to-emulate-john-brown/#more-237257

Stacey Patton, professor of journalism at Howard University, has caused an uproar with her advice to white people who want to oppose this Administration. Patton told them that they had to follow the path of John Brown, who led a bloodbath before the Civil War that included killing white slave owners and pro-slave settlers.

In a blog titled “John Brown Didn’t Ask Enslaved People How to Be a Good White Ally,” Patton told white liberals to stop asking how to be a better “ally” to minorities. She writes:

“It’s a question that always lands heavy. Not because I doubt their sincerity, but because the question itself is still a form of protection that centers the asker’s confusion instead of the target’s danger. It’s a request to be taught, forgiven, and reassured, again and again. It’s another round of homework assigned to the wounded…It’s exhausting as hell because it’s still a form of emotional outsourcing.”

Instead, she tells whites to become modern John Browns and presumably unleash a new era akin to “Bleeding Kansas” and the infamous Pottawatomie massacre.

Brown was a militant slave abolitionist during the pre-Civil War “Bleeding Kansas” period. In 1856, he orchestrated the Pottawatomie massacre. He and fellow abolitionists dragged five Kansas settlers, at least three of whom were pro-slavery sympathizers, out of their homes and executed them.

Brown was eventually captured after his raid on Harpers Ferry and hanged.

Patton wants whites to emulate Brown, who “saw the horror for what it was and decided that ending this racist f*ckery mattered more than being understood.” What clearly makes Brown stand out for Patton is his violence: “So when white allies ask, ‘What can I do?’ here’s the answer: Be like John Brown. Ask yourself, what am I willing to burn so somebody else can breathe?”

Of course, a hanging might be a bit stiff for many liberals longing to be Antifa. So, Patton acknowledges, “If you don’t want to die like John Brown, fine. But understand that somebody always does.”

Not surprisingly, the professor has little time for those who want to embrace the alternative, non-violent lessons of Martin Luther King:

“Now, white liberals love to quote Martin Luther King Jr. because he is a man that can be polished into civility. But John Brown doesn’t fit the script. He was a m’fukin’ gangsta! He didn’t ask for gradual change, or healing, or bipartisan cooperation. He saw a nation addicted to violence and knew that moral persuasion alone couldn’t sober it.”

Patton’s column comes after the controversy involving the John Brown Gun Club, which was connected to flyers appearing on campuses like Georgetown reading “Hey, Fascists! Catch!” The phrase was written on unused bullet casings found after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. It went on to proclaim, “The only political group that celebrates when Nazis die.”

The recent charges against Benjamin Song, an Antifa member, also raised the group. Song was charged with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents in addition to three counts of discharging a firearm stemming from an ambush-style shooting at an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas. A dozen others were charged in the plot. He was also reportedly a member of the John Brown Gun Club.

Notably, this is a journalism professor in a school that has long been associated with advocacy journalism and the controversial hire of former New York Times reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones.

We previously discussed the release of the results of interviews with over 75 media leaders by former executive editor for The Washington Post Leonard Downie Jr. and former CBS News President Andrew Heyward. They concluded that objectivity is now considered reactionary and even harmful. Emilio Garcia-Ruiz, editor-in-chief at the San Francisco Chronicle, said it plainly: “Objectivity has got to go.”

Downie recounted how news leaders today.

“Believe that pursuing objectivity can lead to false balance or misleading “bothsidesism” in covering stories about race, the treatment of women, LGBTQ+ rights, income inequality, climate change and many other subjects. And, in today’s diversifying newsrooms, they feel it negates many of their own identities, life experiences and cultural contexts, keeping them from pursuing truth in their work.”

Now, objectivity is virtually synonymous with prejudice. Kathleen Carroll, former executive editor at the Associated Press, declared, “It’s objective by whose standard? … That standard seems to be White, educated, and fairly wealthy.”

Stanford journalism professor Ted Glasser insisted that journalism needed to “free itself from this notion of objectivity to develop a sense of social justice.” He declared that “Journalists need to be overt and candid advocates for social justice, and it’s hard to do that under the constraints of objectivity.”

Lauren Wolfe, the fired freelance editor for the New York Times, has not only gone public to defend her pro-Biden tweet but published a piece titled I’m a Biased Journalist and I’m Okay With That.”

Former New York Times writer (and now Howard University Journalism Professor) Nikole Hannah-Jones is a leading voice for advocacy journalism.

Indeed, Hannah-Jones has declared, all journalism is activism.” Her 1619 Project has been challenged as deeply flawed and she has a long record as a journalist of intolerance, controversial positions on rioting, and fostering conspiracy theories. Hannah-Jones would later help lead the effort at the Times to get rid of an editor and apologize for publishing a column from Sen. Tom Cotton as inaccurate and inflammatory.

Yet, Howard saw Hannah-Jones as perfect for a chair in its journalism school.

Professor Patton seems to have left not just neutrality but sanity behind with her implied support for violent action. It is unclear how such views impact her journalism courses at Howard University. However, she has featured prominently in The New York Times, Washington Post, and The Chronicle of Higher Education as well as ABC News, CNN, and MSNBC.

President Trump on Thursday told reporters that he is going to target “Democrat-oriented” programs and federal employees as Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought begins sweeping reductions in force (RIF) across the government.
The government shut down at midnight on October 1 because the Democrats refused to vote for a bill that did not include $1.5 trillion in new spending with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens.
The Democrats are planning to go so far as to keep the government closed until planes start falling out of the sky, one top Democratic aide said. They are holding the country hostage for their demands… READ MORE

Black Voters Ghosting the Democrats

By: Kevin Jackson | October 19, 2025

Read more at https://theblacksphere.net/2025/10/black-voters-ghosting-the-democrats/

Black, vote, Trump, TeamKJ, KevinJackson

Imagine somewhere in a dimly lit D.C. basement, a cadre of pollster’s huddles over flickering screens, sweat beading like forbidden truths on their foreheads.

They’ve just crunched the latest data from AtlasIntel, and the verdict hits like a rogue wave at a beachside barbecue—54% of Black voters approving of Donald Trump’s job performance, while a mere 46% disapprove. That’s not just a blip; that’s Black support for Trump outshining the national average, where 47% approve and 52% tsk-tsk from their ivory towers.

In a nation where racial fault lines are usually drawn with the precision of a drunk cartographer, this poll whispers a seismic shift: Black voters, long the unyielding backbone of the Democratic machine, are eyeing the exit sign lit up in MAGA red.

But hold onto your yarmulke, because the comedy of errors doesn’t stop there.

This same AtlasIntel survey, drawn from 1,066 Americans with a margin of error tighter than a miser’s fist (±3%), clocked Black respondents at about 10.6% of the sample—hardly a rounding error. Still, rewind the tape to earlier in the year, and the numbers play like a bad acid trip: May’s poll had 28% Black approval, July plunged to a cryptic 14%. Why the nosedive? Did a summer heatwave melt the resolve of respondents too polite to hang up? Then, bam—October’s quantum leap to 54%.

It’s as if the Black electorate collectively binge-watched Trump’s rallies on fast-forward, pausing only to nod at the parts where he promises to bulldoze the border banditos and criminals turning Black neighborhoods into no-man’s-lands.

Of course, the chattering class—those self-appointed oracles who treat polls like sacred scrolls—scoffs at this outlier.

A late-September YouGov survey clocked Black approval at a dismal 12%, with 86% channeling their inner Ebenezer Scrooge in disapproval. Echoing the gloom, a New York Times/Siena College poll from the same fever-dream period pegged it at 10%.

These aren’t polls; they’re prophecies scripted by the same folks who swore Hillary’s emails were a nothingburger and Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal was “an orderly success.” Meanwhile, Trump’s 2020 haul of 14% Black votes—modest, sure, but a Republican high-water mark since the days when Ronald Reagan charmed with supply-side sonnets—now feels like ancient history. What sorcery turned that trickle into a potential torrent?

Ah, but let’s not kid ourselves: this isn’t sorcery; it’s sobriety. Black Americans, like any group weary of being pawns in a partisan chess game, are waking up to the raw arithmetic of Trump’s agenda. Start with the streets, those concrete veins pulsing with the real pulse of Black life—neighborhood safety.

Under the Obama-Biden carousel, urban crime didn’t just tick up; it erupted like a long-simmering grudge match finally spilling into the alleyways. Homicide rates in major cities spiked 30% from 2019 to 2020, per FBI data, with Black communities bearing the brunt—young men gunned down in broad daylight while politicians preached “mostly peaceful” protests from their gated enclaves.

Trump flipped the script with Operation Legend.

He flooding cities with federal agents to claw back control from the chaos merchants who thought “defund the police” was a haiku, not a homicide invitation. Approval ratings among Black voters for his law-and-order push? They didn’t just climb; they vaulted, as folks traded abstract slogans for the tangible thrill of walking home without glancing over their shoulder.

And here’s where the humor sharpens to a stiletto: the Left, those high priests of performative piety, spent decades peddling the myth that Black progress hinged on their benevolent oversight—like feudal lords doling out scraps from the castle feast.

Historical context? Let’s dust off the archives. From the Dixiecrats who filibustered civil rights in the 1960s to the welfare traps of the Great Society that ensnared generations in dependency, Democrats have mastered the art of the gilded cage. LBJ’s infamous quip about owning “the n***** vote for 200 years” wasn’t hyperbole; it was blueprint.

Fast-forward to today, and the hypocrisy gleams like fool’s gold: the same party that greenlit mass incarceration under Clinton now weeps crocodile tears over “systemic racism” while ignoring how their sanctuary-city experiments have flooded Black neighborhoods with fentanyl-fueled phantoms. Trump’s retort? Meritocracy unapologetic, borders sealed like a vault, and his first-term Opportunity Zones that funneled billions into Black-owned businesses—$75 billion in investments by 2023, per Treasury reports. Estimates have Trump creating 500,000 jobs in underserved areas.

No wonder the polls are glitching; reality’s a tough pill when your brand is built on pity porn.

Now, devil’s advocate time, because we can’t ignore the funhouse mirrors.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)—that corporate kabuki theater the Left touts as salvation—has its cheerleaders arguing it pads the numbers for Black advancement. Sure, on paper, quotas might juice short-term hires, like sprinkling glitter on a mud pie and calling it cake.

A 2023 McKinsey report claimed companies with diverse exec teams outperform peers by 25% in profitability, a stat the DEI evangelists wave like a magic wand. But peel back the foil, and the emperor’s strutting in his skivvies: studies from Harvard Business Review show DEI initiatives often breed resentment, not results, with 40% of employees viewing them as “reverse discrimination.” And among Black voters?

A Rasmussen poll from August 2024 found 62% prioritizing “equal opportunity based on merit” over mandated diversity hires, underscoring a deep-seated belief in climbing ladders you build yourself, not elevators rigged by bureaucrats. Trump’s pitch resonates here—no handouts, just highways paved with hard-won hustle. It’s why Black entrepreneurs, from barbershop philosophers to tech trailblazers, are ditching the Democratic dole for the Republican roar.

Zoom out, and the X ecosystem—once Twitter, now the wild west of unfiltered truth—pulses with this awakening.

Scroll through and you’ll find Black voices belting Trump’s praises like an impromptu gospel choir. Take Judge Joe Brown, dropping an unreported gem about Trump quietly bankrolling young Black entrepreneurs, the kind of off-the-books benevolence the media buries deeper than Jimmy Hoffa. Or N.O.R.E., the hip-hop heavyweight, crowing, “I love Trump! He let n***as out of jail!” in a clip that’s racked up millions of views, crediting the First Step Act for slashing sentences on nonviolent offenses—over 3,000 Black inmates freed by 2021, per DOJ stats.

Then there’s the Black MAGA Preacher, Jordan Wells, fielding fire for rocking a red hat in the pulpit, asking, “How can I preach salvation while backing the man the devil’s disciples demonize?” His viral takedown? Democrats peddle victimhood; Trump peddles victory.

This isn’t blind fealty; it’s forensic accounting.

Black unemployment cratered to 5.4% under Trump pre-COVID—the lowest in 50 years, per BLS data—fueled by tax cuts that let small businesses breathe without Big Brother’s boot on their neck. Contrast that with Biden’s “Build Back Broke” blueprint, where inflation gnawed at grocery carts like termites at a dream deferred, hitting Black households hardest with a 20% food price surge by 2023. Trump’s not whispering sweet nothings; he’s yelling blueprints for border walls that stem the tide of wage-wrecking illegals, school choice vouchers that liberate kids from failing public pens, and energy independence that slashes utility bills without apology.

The irony? The Left’s propaganda press, ever the loyal lapdog, spins these surges as “anomalies” while internal Trump polls—those elusive El Dorado of electoral intel—paint a rosier portrait. Why the veil? Because admitting Black voters are bolt-clipping their chains threatens the whole plantation paradigm. Trump’s team doesn’t poll-chase; they policy-charge, consequences be damned. Common sense over consensus, action over alibis. As one X sage quipped, “Democrats promised hope and change; Trump delivered jobs and jails emptied. Guess which sticks?”

In the end, this polling pandemonium isn’t about numbers; it’s about narratives cracking like eggshells under combat boots. Black America, forged in the fires of real struggle—from Selma’s bridges to Baltimore’s blocks—isn’t buying the bill of goods anymore. They’re bartering for the merit-based muscle Trump offers, the kind that fortifies neighborhoods, fuels family tables, and flips the bird to paternalistic pity.

Two Chicago Educators Face Questions Over “No Kings” Protest Calls

By: Jonathan Turley | October 21, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/21/237179/

The large “No Kings” protests this weekend were peaceful with the exception of some hot spots in Portland near ICE facilities.  There were the usual hot heads carrying guillotines and North Carolina Democrat Rep. Julie von Haefen is under fire for posting a picture of a beheaded Trump.  Another protester was arrested for calling for protesters to “firebomb” ICE facilities and personnel. In another scene, children were encouraged to beat a Trump piñata. There was also an assault on a MAGA supporter. These remained happily isolated incidents. However, two school employees in Chicago drew national attention with their violent speeches and offered another test of our free speech standards.

In Chicago, elementary school teacher Lucy Martinez was shown on video mockingly making a gesture akin to being shot in the neck, mimicking how Charlie Kirk was assassinated. The video went viral, and her school, Nathan Hale Elementary School, had to shut down its website and social media presence.

Martinez’s gesture is disgusting, and frankly, I would not want my children to be taught by such a person. However, she did not identify herself as a teacher when she made this vile statement outside of school during her own time. As such, it is, in my view, protected speech.

Then there is the controversy surrounding Wilbur Wright College Adult Education Manager Moises Bernal, who screamed to a crowd that “ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out.” Bernal told the crowd, “You gotta grab a gun!” and “We gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system!”

In 2017, Bernal was sentenced to 12 months probation in a rare move by the court due to disruptive behavior at a hearing for Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke who was charged with murder.

The question is whether calling for the killing of ICE officers crosses the line for an educator. After all, there are ICE officers who come to campuses in their official capacity or as students. There are also students who want to join law enforcement, including ICE.

Violent speech is admittedly a difficult area for such line drawing. Faculty have made similarly disturbing comments in the past, including “detonating white people,” abolish white peopledenouncing policecalling for Republicans to suffer,  strangling police officerscelebrating the death of conservativescalling for the killing of Trump supporters, supporting the murder of conservative protesters and other outrageous statements. I also defended the free speech rights of University of Rhode Island professor Erik Loomis, who defended the murder of a conservative protester and said that he saw “nothing wrong” with such acts of violence. (Loomis was later made Director of Graduate Studies of History at Rhode Island).

Even school board members referring to taking faculty “to the slaughterhouse” for questioning DEI policies is considering protected speech.

However, the specificity of Bernal’s call to violence could trigger repercussions for him. If Bernal had proclaimed that people should shoot minorities or women or Jews, there would be little debate that he represented a threatening element on campus. Certainly, a student who espoused such violent intentions would not be allowed on campus in most universities.

For the university, it is difficult to see how law enforcement personnel in adult education programs would feel comfortable with an administrator who is encouraging others to murder them. Indeed, most people would not feel comfortable in interacting with someone who wants to kill law enforcement personnel.

Bernal’s comments likely fall short of a criminal threat, though, in New York city, David Cox was arrested after allegedly telling a third person that he had firebombs in his car and would be carrying out an attack. That was a specific threat and alleged plan. Bernal was encouraging violence in general.

However, calling for violence at a protest can cross the line for violent speech under existing precedent. In Brandenburg v. Ohio, the Supreme Court ruled that calling for violence is protected under the First Amendment unless there is a threat of “imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action.”

In this case, there was no violence despite Bernal’s apparent inclinations. There was no evidence of “imminent lawless action.” As such, it is still likely protected. However, that does not mean that Wilbur Wright College, which is part of the city of Chicago college system, cannot fire or suspend him for calling for the murder of law enforcement.

There is currently no statement from Wilbur Wright College President Dr. Andrés A. Oroz.

Jimmy Kimmel and Making Book Burning Fun Again

By: Jonathan Turley | October 21, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/20/jimmy-kimmel-and-making-book-burning-fun-again/

Jimmy Kimmel is back on television by less than popular demand. Kimmel’s ratings are hardly robust (Kimmel pulls in 1.85 million in comparison to Gutfeld! at 3.2 million). Still, his suspension for spreading disinformation about the killer of Charlie Kirk became a cause celebre on the left. Kimmel continues to air nightly screeds against Trump and conservatives. Of course, he is hardly unique in appealing to an echo-chambered audience. However, this week Kimmel showed children being read Eric Trump’s book by a drag queen. What was most disturbing was not the use of the children to echo talking points on how great drag queens are but showing them throwing Trump’s book into a woodchipper. It appears that nothing is funnier for the modern left than a good book burning or chipping.

Trixie Mattel led the “Drag Queen Storytime” with a group of kids in the satiric treatment of Trump’s book. Mattel asked the kids questions like “Do I scare any of you?” eliciting a response: “You just look amazing. Why would that be scary?”

The children are given choices to read like Collectible Spoons of the Third Reich.

It may be the most bizarre element of the skit, even bordering on the ironically humorous. After all, Mattel was portraying the Trump Administration as Nazis but was about to show the children how to destroy books that have views that they do not like. That may not bring back memories of collectible Nazi spoons, but it does bring back memories of Nazi book burning.

The audience delights as one child says that she would “kick” Donald Trump “in the…” before the show bleeped out the rest of her response.

Mattel then shows the kids how to “make excellent confetti” out of a book that they do not like with a giant wood chipper outside of the studio. It is the type of comedic styling that would have had Joseph Goebbels rolling on the ground laughing.

For the free-speech community, there are few more disgraceful images as the burning or destruction of books because you do not agree with the author’s viewpoints. To see children participating in such an exercise is even more troubling. It is easy to dismiss this as simply another bizarre skit on a show struggling for ratings. However, some of us have been raising concerns for years about the embrace of the American left in effective (or even actual) book burning. Some on the right have also embraced book burning.

Cancel campaigns of conservative speakers were not enough for many on the left. They have pressured companies not to publish books by conservatives, including figures like Justice Amy Coney Barrett.  It is far easier (and environmentally sound) to ban opposing books than to physically burn them. However, the sentiment is the same. Rather than responding to those who oppose you, you fight to silence them and prevent others from reading them.

Books by JK Rowling have been burned because of her opposition to certain transgender policies that she views as undermining women’s rights.

That is why the image of children happily tossing books into a woodchipper is so disturbing for many in the free speech community. This is not just satire but reality as many push to destroy books with opposing views. None of this means that there is any crime in this comedic sketch. Even book burning is protected speech. Yet, the humor is missed by many of us who have been objecting to the rise of a new generation of self-righteous book burners in America.

The state has updated its background check policy to make criminal screenings mandatory for certain jobs, a shift that comes months after Alpha News uncovered a convicted sex offender working at the Department of Education.
Minnesota Management and Budget has issued a new statewide directive requiring more rigorous background checks for prospective state employees.
According to an internal “Enterprise Employee Resources” briefing obtained by Alpha News, the “Background Checks” update was sent out early September.

California has become a case study in how political connections translate directly into profit.
For Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wealthiest supporters, campaign contributions appear to double as investments—ones that yield lucrative state contracts, taxpayer-funded benefits, and prestigious appointments.
Since Newsom entered office in 2019, records show that California has steered more than $53 million in state contracts to companies owned or managed by his top donors.
These contracts have covered everything from wildfire prevention and emergency response to public health services.

UPDATE: Bolton Indicted

The flashing lights of an FBI raid are a universal signal of consequence. They are a spectacle of American accountability, a moment where the theoretical might of the state manifests on a suburban lawn.

President Trump felt that wrath when Joe Biden’s administration wrongly raided his home. For the neighbors of former National Security Advisor John Bolton, that spectacle arrived for the target who is likely a shadowy deep-state operative, and for a man whose own mustache has more hawkish gravitas than most four-star generals.

The irony was so thick you could spread it on a cracker. Here was John Bolton—architect of wars, sermonizer of American intervention, the human embodiment of a dropped bunker buster—being investigated for the most pedestrian of Washington crimes: mishandling the very secrets he so loved to generate. The alleged crime wasn’t espionage for a hostile power, but something far more mundanely venal: using a private email server to shuttle classified documents to his wife and daughter, allegedly to aid in the writing of a book that would later eviscerate the president he served.

This isn’t just a case of a little fish getting caught; it’s a case of a great white shark getting snagged on a discarded fishing line. And the man holding the rod? None other than Kash Patel, a Trump loyalist Bolton likely dismissed as a minor functionary only a few years ago. The hunter, it seems, has become the hunted. And the entire sordid affair is a masterclass in Washington hypocrisy, where principles are as temporary as security clearances.

A Brief History of Bombast: The Bolton Doctrine

To understand the sheer poetic justice of this moment, one must first understand John Bolton’s self-anointed role in the American foreign policy ecosystem. For decades, Bolton has presented himself as the last true defender of American sovereignty, a man of unwavering conviction in a city of squishes. His career has been a relentless push for maximum American military assertiveness, from his instrumental role in the 2003 invasion of Iraq based on since-debunked WMD intelligence to his advocacy for preemptive strikes on North Korea and Iran.

He is a man who never saw a country he didn’t think wouldn’t look better with a few more craters. His tenure as President Trump’s National Security Advisor was predictably tumultuous, a constant clash between his interventionist instincts and Trump’s more isolationist leanings. He was, in essence, a man who believed the classification of documents was a sacred covenant—until it became inconvenient for his own commercial and reputational ambitions.

The Crime: Not a Conspiracy, But a Clerical Error

According to reports, the FBI raid on Bolton’s home was part of a revived investigation into allegations that he mishandled classified information. A senior official stated that Bolton was “literally stealing classified information, utilizing his family as a cutout” while still in office, sending sensitive documents from his work account to the personal accounts of his wife and daughter shortly after his firing in September 2019.

Let’s pause to appreciate the staggering lack of operational security. This is the man who wanted to give the nuclear codes a workout, yet his brilliant scheme for data exfiltration was the electronic equivalent of stuffing state secrets into his pants and hoping no one patted him down. It’s the kind of clumsy move you’d expect from a sitcom villain, not a former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. The man who warned of security threats from every corner of the globe was allegedly undone by the same Gmail server your aunt uses to forward chain letters about blessed angels.

The alleged motive? It appears to be literary. Bolton’s memoir, The Room Where It Happened. The book was a scathing indictment of Trump, and it’s a lot easier to write a tell-all when you’ve, well, taken all the documents to tell about. The classification stamps were apparently less a warning and more a suggested reading list for his family.

The Cover-Up: The Unholy Alliance of Convenience

Here’s where the story ascends from mere irony to Shakespearean-level farce. This investigation didn’t start under Trump; it began under him. But it was abruptly halted under the Biden administration. Why would Biden’s Justice Department, which has pursued Trump-related investigations with vigor, suddenly develop a case of the vapors over Bolton’s alleged transgressions? The answer is as cynical as it is obvious: pure, unadulterated political utility.

John Bolton, by transforming into a cable news critic of Trump, became more valuable to the Democratic narrative as a free man and a talking head than as a defendant in an orange jumpsuit. His value was in his vitriol, not his veracity. Prosecuting him would have silenced a powerful voice against their chief political opponent and exposed a hypocrisy they’d rather keep buried: that national security is often secondary to political warfare.

They provided cover for the very type of “Trumpworld a-hole” they publicly despise. Because his continued existence as an anti-Trump evangelist gave them a political asset. It’s a stunning testament to the fact that in Washington, your past sins can always be absolved if you’re willing to curse the right people on CNN.

Kash Patel: The Reaper of Ironic Comeuppance

The revival of this investigation under the authority of FBI Director Kash Patel is the final, delicious twist of the knife. Patel, a Trump loyalist whom Bolton and his ilk would have undoubtedly considered a minor player, is now the one holding the gavel. It’s a perfect inversion of the established order, a demonstration that the so-called “adults in the room” weren’t nearly as smart or untouchable as they believed.

The message from Patel’s FBI is clear: no one is above the law, especially not those who preached its sanctity while allegedly skirting it.

This isn’t a witch hunt; it’s a long-delayed audit. And we know Patel, a man with a reputation for meticulous evidence-building, wouldn’t move without an ironclad case. The warrant wasn’t a political gambit; it was a receipt, delivered years later, for services Bolton allegedly rendered to himself.

The Domino Theory: Why the Little Fish Matter

Bolton’s defenders, and there are a few in the neocon graveyard, will cry that this is a distraction. “Bigger fish to fry!” they’ll shout, gesturing wildly toward the January 6th investigations. But this misses the point entirely. Justice is not a binary choice. A nation capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time can presumably investigate a violent attempt to subvert democracy and the cynical mishandling of its most sensitive secrets.

In fact, the Bolton raid is crucial because it demonstrates a return to a blind application of the law. The alleged crime—mishandling classified information—is one that has been wielded as a political cudgel for years, but almost always against one side. The investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, for instance, dominated the 2016 election landscape, with then-Director James Comey famously chastising her for being “extremely careless” while recommending no charges. The standard seemed to shift depending on the political winds.

The Bolton raid suggests a recalibration. If the law is to mean anything, it must be applied equally to the Hillary Clintons, the Donald Trumps, and the John Boltons of the world. His alleged actions provide a perfect test case: a senior official from a Republican administration, investigated by a Biden DOJ-appointed official, for acts that mirror past scandals. It’s a chance to establish a precedent that the protection of national secrets isn’t a partisan game.

Bolton may be a smaller fish in the vast ocean of Trump-era scandals, but as any fisherman knows, little fish are what you use to catch the big ones. They are the proof of concept that the system, however rusted, can still work. His case proves that the walls have not just ears, but also subpoena power. If a figure as established as Bolton can find federal agents at his door over classified documents, then no one is inherently safe. That is a terrifying thought for every official, past and present, who has treated sensitive documents as personal souvenirs or literary aids.

The Feathers on the Floor

The ultimate lesson of the raid on John Bolton isn’t about one man’s fall from grace. It’s about the inescapable gravity of irony. This is a man who built a career on the assertion of American power abroad while allegedly weakening its foundational security at home for personal gain. He preached accountability for everyone else but apparently believed himself exempt from its reach. His home wasn’t raided because he is a traitor necessarily, though the likelihood is good. But he was careless. It’s a tragically small end for a man with such grandiose ambitions.

The falling dominoes will not stop with Bolton. They will lead to bigger players, and this raid serves as a warning shot across the bow of the entire permanent political class: the rules apply to you, too. Even if you have a really, really impressive mustache.

The hawk has been grounded, not by a foreign power, but by his own arrogant belief that the rules were written for other, smaller birds. And for a nation weary of double standards, that is a sight more satisfying than any bomb he ever wanted to drop.

Mamdani’s Debate Performance Turns NYC into a Live Socialism Experiment

By Jimmy Parker | October 17, 2025

New York City has always been a stage for big ideas, but this year it’s testing one that could redefine failure: the New York City socialism experiment. At the center of it all is 34-year-old Zohran Mamdani — a self-described democratic socialist with an Ivy League smile and a college-campus economic plan. His campaign promises free buses, free childcare, and even government-run grocery stores, all paid for by raising taxes on what he calls “the wealthiest New Yorkers.” If it sounds like a utopia drawn up on a whiteboard in a sociology class, that’s because it is.

The Socialist with a Smile

On Fox News, Martha MacCallum tried to give Mamdani a chance to walk voters through the math. It didn’t go well. When asked how he’d pay for his long list of freebies, Mamdani fell back on the socialist classic: “raise taxes on the rich.” When pressed again — what if Albany says no? — he simply said, “we’ll find another way.” His calm delivery hides the chaos underneath, but make no mistake, his plan depends entirely on endless money from people who can leave New York the moment the tax bill lands. Even JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs have already moved major operations to Texas. That isn’t right-wing spin — it’s a warning label.

Cuomo’s Redemption Tour

Then there’s Andrew Cuomo, suddenly reinventing himself as the grown-up in the room. During the NBC debate, Cuomo attacked Mamdani for lacking real-world experience, reminding voters that “being mayor is no job for on-the-job training.” He’s right — and the irony is hard to miss. The same Cuomo who was once the face of Democratic power is now the moderate voice warning his party not to drive off a cliff. He’s not running on charisma or forgiveness; he’s running on exhaustion. New Yorkers are tired of ideological experiments — they just want the city to work.

Curtis Sliwa: The Only Adult on Stage

Curtis Sliwa may not win, but he won the debate. While Mamdani and Cuomo sparred over who could outmaneuver Trump, Sliwa focused on what really matters: restoring safety and sanity. He defended the NYPD, called out the “defund” nonsense, and made a clear case for law and order. But the math isn’t kind. With Mamdani dominating the left and Cuomo splitting moderates, Sliwa’s principled stand could end up guaranteeing the very outcome he’s warning against — a socialist mayor of New York City.

The Trap Conservatives See Coming

Here’s the quiet truth: some Republicans see a silver lining in all this. They know Sliwa can’t win. They also know that nothing will discredit socialism faster than letting it govern one of America’s most famous cities. If Mamdani wins, he’ll face the hard limits of ideology. The legislature won’t fund his fantasy budget, businesses will keep fleeing, crime will rise, and the “free” programs will start costing New Yorkers more than ever. In the end, his dream city could collapse under its own promises — and the national left will lose its favorite talking point. Sometimes, the only way to end an illusion is to let it run its course.

The Danger of a Well-Packaged Radical

What makes Mamdani especially dangerous politically is how polished he is. He’s not the bullhorn-and-picket-sign kind of socialist. He’s polite, articulate, and media-trained — the kind of figure who makes young voters believe socialism isn’t something to fear, but to try. He apologized to the NYPD, he talks about “safety” instead of “defunding,” and he drops the word “equity” as if it’s a budget plan. It’s all branding. Beneath the vocabulary of compassion is the same old math: spend more, tax more, and pretend productivity doesn’t matter.

The Socialist’s Ceiling

Even if Mamdani wins, his power will hit a wall fast. The city’s $115 billion budget is already stretched, the governor is against new taxes, and the economy is fragile. A mayor can’t rewrite fiscal reality. The experiment will begin, but the outcome is predictable: as businesses leave, tax revenue drops, and services shrink, he’ll blame capitalism for not funding socialism. It’s a cycle New York has seen before — but this time, it’ll be televised.

What Happens Next

If Cuomo stays in and Sliwa refuses to drop out, Mamdani walks right into Gracie Mansion. The irony? Conservatives might secretly welcome it. Let the left own the results. Let the “New York City socialism experiment” play out in full view. After a few years of collapsing budgets, higher crime, and middle-class flight, the lesson will be written in neon lights over Times Square: socialism doesn’t work, even in the city that never sleeps.

The Real Question

The real question for New Yorkers isn’t whether Mamdani is likable — he is. It’s whether the city can survive another ideological gamble. New York has survived crime waves, financial crises, and bad mayors. But this one is different. This time, the collapse would be self-inflicted, and voters would have signed the permission slip.

Final Thoughts

The coming election isn’t just about a mayor — it’s about whether the world’s greatest city becomes a cautionary tale. The New York City socialism experiment might start with free buses and idealistic speeches, but it will end where socialism always ends: with higher prices, empty shelves, and fewer opportunities. And when that happens, maybe, just maybe, America will remember that freedom, not free stuff, is what built this country.

White House faith director responds to Trump’s Heaven comments: ‘It was humility’

WASHINGTON — A White House official who deals directly with faith issues says President Donald Trump’s recent statements suggesting he may not make it to Heaven are an example of his humility.

Jenny Korn, the director of the White House Faith Office, addressed the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference at the Museum of the Bible on Tuesday. Korn, who also served in the first Trump administration and the George W. Bush administration, used her remarks to vouch for Trump’s character as a man of faith.

“I have the honor of knowing him now for almost 10 years,” she said. “I’ve been in the Oval Office with the cameras and without the cameras. And I want to let you know that those pictures that you see of the president praying in the Oval Office with many pastors around him, it’s real.”

Korn insisted that “On camera or off camera, the president welcomes hands-on and welcomes prayer.” She added, “It’s in his heart, and this is who he is.”

“There’s been prayer in the Oval Office, in the Roosevelt Room, in the East Room, in the Residence, on the grounds, in every part of the White House inside and out,” she said.

Speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, the president suggested that he’s “maybe not Heaven-bound.”

“I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make Heaven,” Trump said.

Korn said that Trump’s comments are not a cause for concern.

“The president has his own language, and I look at it, and I know his language, it was humility,” she said.

In August, Trump made public comments that questioned whether ending the Russia-Ukraine war could help him get to Heaven, prompting debate among Christian leaders about the path to salvation.  Korn assured that Trump has accepted Jesus Christ as his “Lord and Savior.” While Trump “uses some colorful language” and “might not speak like a Sunday School teacher,” Korn stressed that the president “sure likes to hire them.”

Korn has worked under Trump during both his terms in office and on his 2016 election campaign. She was the deputy director of the White House Office of Public Liaison all four years of his first term. During Trump’s initial campaign, Korn led coalition engagement efforts with several minority and faith communities.

“I never really understood what spiritual warfare was until I worked for President Trump,” she said. “I would walk into the White House, and I could feel this very dark cloud above me, but there was this space in between my head and that dark cloud, and it was your prayers. It was God. It was Jesus.”

“I was able to do my job because of you and all of the millions of people that were praying for us to do our jobs that first term,” she added.

She contends that the faith advisors in the president’s inner circle continued their efforts during the four-year hiatus between Trump’s first and second terms. Korn said she went to Mar-a-Lago with Pentecostal televangelist Paula White-Cain, Trump’s longtime pastor and spiritual advisor, to present him with the idea of establishing the White House Faith Office, which he established in February with her and White-Cain at the helm.

“He opened it, he read it and he’s like ‘I love this.’ He started writing notes of things that he would add to the plan. He didn’t have to call an advisor; he didn’t have to ask anyone else. He just said yes.”

“[This is] the very first time that there has ever been a White House Faith Office in the West Wing as a direct report to the president of the United States,” she stressed.

“Inside the White House, we have six employees for a brand-new office, but we also have a faith director in every department and agency who are looking out for people of faith in those departments and those issues.”

Antifa Denial: How a Violent Anti-Free Speech Group Became a Non-Entity in American Politics

By: Jonathan Turley | October 16, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/13/antifa-denial-how-a-violent-anti-free-speech-group-went-from-celebrated-to/

Below is my column on the rise of Antifa deniers in Washington. Once embraced and even marketed on the left, Antifa has become the group that must not be named as political violence rises across the country. It does not matter that radicals identify as Antifa, coordinate protests, carry Antifa flags, wear signature clothing, and espouse the same ideas from the “Antifa handbook.” There have even been people elected as Antifa representatives. Yet, the current spin is to pretend that they do not exist as a single organization to deflect the debate over violence on the left.  Even with the past and current FBI directors saying that they exist as a group, politicians are mocking those who object to Antifa, even journalists and others targeted by its members.

This week, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) claimed that “nobody” knows what the left-wing terrorist organization Antifa is and that it does not exist. However, he previously promoted the “Antifa Handbook” in 2018 and praised the group as terrifying Trump. Now, however, he has joined the chorus of Antifa denials as political violence rises around the country.

Here is the column:

Roughly seventy years ago, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover famously declared, “There is no organized crime in America.” Hoover’s stubborn denial of the existence of the mafia continued despite ample evidence to the contrary, from arrests to congressional testimony.

Many have speculated on why Hoover maintained his stubborn denial. Perhaps, they say, he was trying to avoid the political embarrassment of long ignoring the single largest criminal network in the country.

Many today seem to be adopting a Hoover-esque wilful blindness about another violent group: Antifa. Politicians and pundits are denying that the left-wing anarchist group exists, mocking President Trump’s designation of Antifa as a terrorist organization.

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) seemed to morph into Hoover before our very eyes, including a posting in which he challenged anyone to “name one member of ‘Antifa.’” Former House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) was widely ridiculed for denying the existence of Antifa. Others on the left have joined Goldman in this absurd claim. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel committed part of his monologue to assure viewers that Antifa is no more than a mythical “chupacabra.” “You understand there is no Antifa,” he said. “This is an entirely made-up organization.”

I have testified about Antifa before Congress, run columns on the organization for over a decade, and wrote a book discussing Antifa. I did oppose declaring Antifa a terrorist organization due to free speech concerns, but I also know that it is very real.

By design, Antifa avoids typical leadership hierarchies and organizational structures. Antifa was first created in the 1920s, associated with the Weimar-era German communist group Antifaschistische Aktion.

It is easy to satisfy Goldman’s demand in naming some members, since they self-identify as members of Antifa. One such student came from my campus and proclaimed that Antifa was winning after his arrest for property destruction. When another radical was arrested after taking an axe to a congressional office, he self-identified as a member of Antifa. Before Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, 26, implanted an IED device outside of Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office in downtown Montgomery, he put up stickers reading “support your local Antifa.” Numerous Antifa members have been arrested, including some who claimed to be journalists.

Many protesters belong to Antifa groups that have names like “Rose City Antifa” and offshoots like Love and Rage and Mexico’s Amor Y Rabia. Antifa members have been elected to the French and European parliaments.

Rutgers Professor Mark Bray’s “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” called by some the “Antifa bible,” explains that the group is united in its opposition to free speech. “Most Americans in Antifa have been anarchists or antiauthoritarian communists,” he writes. “From that standpoint, ‘free speech’ as such is merely a bourgeois fantasy unworthy of consideration.”

Law enforcement officials like former FBI Director Christopher Wray have long debunked the deniers like Goldman. “Antifa is a real thing,” said Wray.

Ironically, when many on the left are not denying its existence, they are rallying their members or actually selling Antifa merchandise. Former Democratic National Committee deputy chair Keith Ellison — now the Minnesota attorney general — proclaimed that Antifa would “strike fear in the heart” of Trump. His own son, Minneapolis City Council member Jeremiah Ellison, declared his allegiance to Antifa in the heat of the protests this summer.

But ,with Antifa violence on the rise, Democratic leaders have gone back to denying its existence even as Antifa deploys its signature black hoodies and masks.

Indeed, some liberal activists admit to having coordinated violent protests with Antifa groups. For example, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill professor Dwayne Dixon was a member of the radical gun club Redneck Revolt, a group recently referenced in flyers quoting the assassin of Charlie Kirk to rally the left. The flyers read, “Hey, Fascist! Catch! The only political group that celebrates when Nazis die.”

During a panel at Harvard University, Dixon reportedly admitted that an Antifa-linked group requested his gun club to provide security during the August 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia: “Prior to that day, as the planning for the defense of Charlottesville proceeded, the local Anarchist People of Color Collective … had requested that Redneck Revolt be present to secure Justice Park for a wide variety of activists who were expected to assemble.”

The denial of the existence of an actual group is meant to deflect the discussion of the rising violence from the left, as these same politicians fuel the rage with reckless rhetoric. But they’re not so good at keeping their story straight. While whipping up the mob with claims that democracy is dying and comparing their opponents to Nazis, they deny the existence of the very group that politicians like Ellison praise for targeting conservatives.

Hoover declined to admit the mafia existed until, on November 14, 1957, dozens of mobsters were found meeting in a farmhouse in Apalachin, New York.

What is different is that Antifa has repeatedly had such farmhouse moments, with prosecutions revealing a national movement with self-identified members. So why the denial? These are the shock troops for some politicians who think that they can use the violent group for political advantage. They are mistaken. Antifa is unlikely to have much use for establishment liberals once it gains more power.

Until then, Antifa can count on the Goldmans of the world to give them cover in denying that they exist.

In the film “The Usual Suspects,” the character Verbal Kint offered this explanation for the invisible villain Keyser Söze: “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist.”

“Race-Based Remedies Should Have an End Point”: Justices Appear Poised to Issue Historic Ruling on the Voting Rights Act

By: Jonathan Turley | October 16, 2025

Read more at https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/16/race-based-remedies-should-have-an-end-point-justices-appear-ready-to-pull-the-plug-on-race-based-districting-under-the-voting-rights-act/

Yesterday, the Supreme Court held the long-awaited argument in Louisiana v. Callais, considering an appeal of Louisiana’s congressional map. The two majority-black districts are being challenged under the 15th Amendment and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment as unconstitutionally gerrymandered on the basis of race. The case could result in a rejection of race-based congressional districting under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Notably, the Louisiana case was previously argued, but on the last day before the summer recess, the court issued an order setting the case for a second oral argument in the 2025-26 term. It later directed the litigants to file briefs addressing:

“whether the State’s intentional creation of a second majority-minority district violates either the 14th Amendment or the 15th Amendment, which bars the government from denying or restricting voting rights based on race.”

On Wednesday, I was addressing the annual conference of chief judges, speaking on the Supreme Court. I discussed some of the current cases, including Louisiana v. Callais. I noted that there may now be a majority in favor of a significant change on Section 2, but that some of us would be listening for Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett as indicators of the Court balance.

We did hear from Kavanaugh and Barrett and the challengers could take heart in the skepticism that they expressed over the indefinite use of race in such districting.

The oral argument took an interesting turn when Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson sought to push back on the need to show a discriminatory intent. She interjected:

“I guess I’m thinking of it, of the fact that remedial action, absent discriminatory intent, is really not a new idea in the civil rights laws. And my kind of paradigmatic example of this is something like the ADA. Congress passed the Americans with Disabilities Act against the backdrop of a world that was generally not accessible to people with disabilities.

“And so, it was discriminatory in effect because these folks were not able to access these buildings. And it didn’t matter whether the person who built the building or the person who owned the building intended for them to be exclusionary. That’s irrelevant.

“Congress said the facilities have to be made equally open to people with disabilities if readily possible. I guess I don’t understand why that’s not what’s happening here. The idea in Section 2 is that we are responding to current-day manifestations of past and present decisions that disadvantage minorities and make it so that they don’t have equal access to the voting system.’

“They’re disabled. In fact, we use the word disabled in Milligan. We say that’s a way in which you see that these processes are not equally open.”

Justice Jackson appears to be referring to this paragraph in Allen v. Milligan:

“Individuals thus lack an equal opportunity to participate in the political process when a State’s electoral structure operates in a manner that “minimize[s] or cancel[s] out the[ir] voting strength.” Id., at 47. That occurs where an individual is disabled from “enter[ing] into the political process in a reliable and meaningful manner” “in the light of past and present reality, political and otherwise.” White, 412 U. S., at 767, 770. A district is not equally open, in other words, when minority voters face—unlike their majority peers—bloc voting along racial lines, arising against the backdrop of substantial racial discrimination within the State, that renders a minority vote unequal to a vote by a nonminority voter.” (emphasis added)

The court was not making an analogy to the ADA (though, in fairness to Justice Jackson, she was not suggesting that it made that point). It is also worth noting that Chief Justice John Roberts wrote:

“We have understood the language of §2 against the background of the hard-fought compromise that Congress struck. To that end, we have reiterated that §2 turns on the presence of discriminatory effects, not discriminatory intent.”

Milligan was deeply fractured and the question is whether five justices would now elect to set aside or reframe some of these former rulings.

During the oral argument, Roberts seemed to do precisely that in the use of Milligan, remarking “That case took the existing precedent as a given, it was a case in which we were considering Alabama’s particular challenge based on … what turned out to be an improper evidentiary showing.”

Moreover, Justice Kavanaugh (who was one of the concurrences in Milligan) suggested that we might have reached “the end point” on such race-based districting: “[T]his Court’s cases in a variety of contexts have said that race-based remedies are permissible for a period of time, sometimes for a long period of time, decades in some cases, but … they should not be indefinite and should have a[n] end point.”

Now, back to the ADA analogy.

The disabled face permanent and ongoing physical disabilities in accessing buildings and spaces. While Jackson was stressing that intent does not matter when it comes to discrimination against the disabled, the question of the other justices is whether the use of race-based districts will continue indefinitely.  The ADA is permanent because the disabilities are permanent.  The analogy plays into the very point of justices like Kavanaugh on whether race-based districting would continue ad infinitum.

If the oral argument is a reflection of the eventual votes of the justices, there now seems to be a working majority of justices willing to bring “an end point” to race-based districting. The result would have tremendous legal and political impact.

Legally, one of the most litigated areas of elections would be largely curtailed. The Voting Rights Act would still be used to prevent measures to inhibit voting and to protect the right to vote for every citizen. However, the constant districting controversies over guaranteeing majority black districts would come to an end.

The move would also be a major additional move of the Roberts court to eliminate the use of race-based classifications in society from college admissions to election districting. In a 2007 case, Chief Justice John Roberts stated that position most succinctly by declaring that the “way to stop discriminating on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.”

Politically, any loss of such gerrymandering on the basis of race could impact the Democrats who hold the vast majority of these districts.

Of course, the Court could again fracture as it did in Milligan on the rationale for any opinion. What was notable about the oral argument is that there appeared to be at least five justices considering a threshold rejection of race-based districting under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Elections Have Consequences: Why the Shutdown Is More About Leverage Than Leadership

By Jimmy Parker | October 16, 2025

Read more at https://pagetraveler.com/elections-have-consequences-why-the-shutdown-is-more-about-leverage-than-leadership/#comment-4315

I’m tired of the political hyperbole. While I’m a strong conservative and have no problem calling out bad policy when I see it, I’m also exhausted by the endless political theater coming from both sides. Still, let’s be honest: most of the over-the-top spin seems to come from the left, and that’s part of why I lean conservative. But this piece isn’t about taking cheap shots — it’s about cutting through the noise. When Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared at a CNN town hall event Wedn to discuss the ongoing government shutdown 2025, the conversation quickly became another round of finger-pointing. When a Republican student asked Sanders to explain Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s leadership during the crisis, Sanders dodged, shifting the blame to House Speaker Mike Johnson and President Donald Trump. It was a perfect snapshot of how real policy debates get lost in the rhetoric.

The Reality Behind the Shutdown

The current shutdown isn’t really about keeping the government open—it’s about who sets the priorities for federal spending. Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House, meaning the voters have already chosen the policy direction. But Democrats are using the shutdown as leverage to hold on to parts of the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) spending structure that were designed under their leadership. Specifically, they want to preserve extended ACA tax credits and protect state-level programs that offer healthcare benefits to individuals who aren’t legally in the country.

What’s Actually Being Argued

Democrats argue that scaling back these programs would harm low-income families and vulnerable populations. Republicans counter that it’s about accountability—ensuring that taxpayer money goes only to those eligible under federal law. The key point: illegal immigrants are not eligible for federal healthcare programs like Medicaid, Medicare, or Obamacare subsidies. But some blue states use their own budgets—and sometimes overlapping federal grants—to cover those individuals. Republicans want that practice stopped, arguing that it violates the intent of federal law.

The $1 Trillion Talking Point

Sanders keeps repeating that the GOP “gave $1 trillion in tax cuts to the rich while cutting healthcare.” That number refers to the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which reduced taxes for corporations and individuals across all income levels. The top earners saw the largest dollar savings because they pay the most taxes, but the middle class also benefited from lower rates and a doubled standard deduction. As for “cutting healthcare,” no program was directly reduced by that legislation. The only major healthcare change was the removal of the Obamacare individual mandate penalty. In other words, Sanders is describing a hypothetical outcome, not a literal cut.

The Real Issue: Federal Leverage and Political Optics

The government shutdown isn’t about immediate healthcare funding—it’s about control. Democrats are using the shutdown to pressure Republicans into preserving programs that benefit their voter base, especially in states that expanded coverage to noncitizens. Republicans see this as a constitutional question: if the GOP controls Congress, its budget priorities should reflect the voters’ choice. That’s not cruelty; it’s how representative government works.

The Consequence of Power

Elections have consequences. As President Obama himself once reminded Republicans after his 2008 victory, winning control of government means you set the policy agenda. When Democrats held power, they passed expansive social programs and regulatory initiatives. Now that Republicans hold the majority, the legislative balance naturally shifts. Shutting down the government to protest that shift doesn’t change the law—it only hurts ordinary Americans who rely on steady governance. The real path forward is negotiation, not obstruction. Democrats can fight for their policies at the ballot box in 2026. Until then, the government’s direction follows the majority elected by the people.

A Shutdown Fueled by Political Theater

Bernie Sanders and AOC are using the cameras and the headlines to suggest that Republicans are “taking away” healthcare or “attacking” the poor. But the reality is simpler: the shutdown continues because Democrats refuse to pass a spending bill that reflects the results of the last election. It’s not about compassion or cruelty—it’s about political leverage. The sooner Washington stops treating every budget negotiation as a campaign rally, the sooner the government can reopen.

What Comes Next

Unless one side gives ground, the shutdown will likely continue until late fall. Republicans have little incentive to fold when they hold both the legislative majority and the presidency. Democrats, meanwhile, are hoping public frustration will eventually shift the blame their way. But with a nationwide “No Kings Rally” planned for this weekend—a grassroots event organized by progressive activists to protest Republican control—there’s virtually no chance Democratic leaders will concede before then. They’ve spent weeks energizing a base that expects confrontation, not compromise. Standing in front of that crowd and admitting political reality would be unthinkable for them right now. Still, most Americans understand that governing isn’t about tantrums—it’s about responsibility. The law stands until voters change it, and for now, that law is in Republican hands.

SHOCK: Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson Compares Black People to Disabled People During Arguments on Race-Based Voting Districts (AUDIO)

By Cristina Laila – The Gateway Pundit – Oct 15, 2025

Joe Biden’s DEI Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is at it again.
On Wednesday, the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments on a Louisiana case over race-based voting districts.
President Trump’s Department of Justice, through Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon and Solicitor General John Sauer, told the US Supreme Court that race-based congressional districts must end once and for all.
The case, State of Louisiana v. Phillip Callais (and the related Press Robinson v. Phillip Callais), stems from Louisiana’s woke lawmakers caving to left-wing judges and creating a second “majority… READ MORE

Cheryl Hines Defends RFK Jr. on The View — And Exposes the Left’s “Expert Worship”

By Jimmy Parker | October 15, 2025

Read more at https://pagetraveler.com/cheryl-hines-defends-rfk-jr-on-the-view-and-exposes-the-lefts-expert-worship/

It’s always a wild ride when The View invites someone who doesn’t parrot their daily talking points. Cheryl Hines, actress and wife of RFK Jr., stepped into that lion’s den this week and showed America what grace under fire looks like. Surrounded by professional interrupters who treat disagreement like a personal insult, she calmly defended her husband’s record, dropped a few inconvenient facts, and somehow managed to make the whole panel stumble into partial agreement. That’s not just impressive — that’s a public service.

Sonny Hostin’s Sanctimony on Full Display

Sonny Hostin didn’t come to ask a question — she came to deliver a sermon from Mount Smugness. With that trademark tone of “I’ve read three headlines, therefore I’m right,” she scolded Cheryl Hines for daring to support her husband, sneering that RFK Jr. is “the least qualified Health Secretary in history.” Sure, Sonny — because working with Trump automatically disqualifies you from basic competence. It wasn’t about policy or background; it was about political loyalty. The subtext was clear: how dare someone who won’t toe the media line be allowed in polite company?

Cheryl Hines: Calm, Classy, and Prepared

What made the exchange remarkable wasn’t just Hostin’s predictability — it was Hines’ composure. While the panel tried to talk over her, she politely reminded them that her husband has spent decades taking on corporate polluters like Monsanto, DuPont, and Exxon — not exactly light reading in the world of public health. She wasn’t rattled, she wasn’t rude, and she didn’t need a cue card to make her point. That calm confidence made The View’s moral grandstanding look even more desperate.

The Left’s Religion of “Expert Worship”

Hostin’s “he’s not qualified” jab was more than just an insult — it was a window into the left’s biggest blind spot. These folks treat “experts” like saints and degrees like holy relics. To them, you can’t possibly know anything unless a university logo signs off on your opinion. Hostin’s tone said it all: “How dare a man without a medical degree question the medical establishment?” The irony, of course, is that most past Health Secretaries weren’t doctors either — but facts tend to bounce off the View table faster than Joy Behar’s punchlines.

The “Least Qualified” Argument Is Pure Nonsense

Let’s be real. When Hostin calls RFK Jr. “the least qualified Health Secretary ever,” what she really means is “he works with Trump.” That’s the entire argument, wrapped up in one elitist bow. Forget the decades RFK Jr. has spent studying environmental toxins, arguing in courtrooms, and advocating for cleaner air and safer food — apparently, none of that counts because he’s not part of the club. It’s like saying a firefighter isn’t qualified to talk about fire safety because he doesn’t work for the EPA.

The Charlie Kirk Comparison the Left Hates

Hostin’s jab also echoed the same tired insult Charlie Kirk heard every time he debated a liberal college student: “You don’t have a degree.” These self-appointed intellectuals seem convinced that wisdom comes only from a lecture hall. But here’s the thing — Charlie Kirk and RFK Jr. are two of the most well-read, well-studied, and well-informed people in their respective movements. They’ve spent years researching, writing, and engaging with real-world evidence. They just did it outside the Ivy League bubble. And you know what else they have? Common sense — something that’s been in short supply on The View for years.

America Was Built by People Without Permission Slips

The idea that you need a credential to contribute is about as un-American as it gets. Our Founding Fathers weren’t “experts” by the modern definition — they were thinkers, readers, doers, and dreamers who believed in individual liberty over institutional approval. If The View had been around in 1776, they’d probably have called Jefferson “unqualified” to write the Declaration because he didn’t have a degree in political science from Harvard. America wasn’t built by people with plaques on their walls; it was built by people with conviction in their hearts.

The View’s Fear of Real Conversation

Hines didn’t come to argue — she came to explain. But that’s exactly what terrified The View. They don’t do dialogue; they do dominance. The second a guest challenges their worldview, they close ranks like a gated community. They claim to champion “different perspectives,” yet every conversation sounds the same: mock, moralize, repeat. The reason they attack RFK Jr. so viciously isn’t because he’s wrong — it’s because he’s dangerous to their illusion of certainty. He’s willing to ask the questions they’ve been trained to avoid.

What The View Misses About the American Spirit

There’s a deeper cultural divide here that goes way beyond politics. The View represents a European-style mentality — trust the system, obey authority, let the “qualified” decide for you. But America’s DNA is different. We’re not a nation of followers. We’re a country that questions everything. Our strength doesn’t come from experts in suits; it comes from ordinary people who think critically, challenge power, and refuse to be silenced. That’s what scares the media class more than anything — they know they’re losing control of the narrative.

Why They Fear RFK Jr.

RFK Jr. isn’t a threat because of what he believes — he’s a threat because he dares to think independently. That’s what the establishment can’t tolerate. He doesn’t need permission to speak, and he doesn’t beg for validation from corporate media. He’s the rare political figure who admits when he’s still learning — and that humility drives elitists crazy. They prefer controlled narratives, not open debates. When RFK Jr. says, “Show me the science,” they hear, “Show me your weakness.” That’s why they go for his character instead of his argument.

Cheryl Hines Represented Every Common-Sense American

In that one appearance, Cheryl Hines did more than defend her husband — she spoke for millions of Americans who are tired of being talked down to by smug TV panels and bureaucratic know-it-alls. She showed that grace, facts, and composure still win in a room full of professional outrage artists. By calmly pushing back against misinformation disguised as “expert opinion,” she reminded the country that logic and decency aren’t outdated. They’re just out of style on daytime television.

The Media’s Hypocrisy Is the Real Story

Let’s not pretend this is new. The same media that once hailed “questioning authority” as noble now brands it as dangerous — as long as the questions come from the wrong people. If RFK Jr. had endorsed Biden tomorrow, The View would be singing his praises as a visionary reformer. But because he’s working with Trump, he’s “unqualified.” It’s not about truth or health or science; it’s about team loyalty. The message is simple: stay in your lane or we’ll shame you off the road.

America Still Trusts Truth Over Titles

For all the noise, Cheryl Hines’ appearance struck a chord because it reminded viewers of something they already know: credentials don’t equal character. Ordinary Americans still believe in truth over titles, action over applause, and courage over conformity. The people who keep this country running — the truck drivers, teachers, small business owners, and parents — don’t need elite approval to see through hypocrisy. They just need someone to say out loud what they already feel: we’ve been lectured enough.

The Bottom Line

In a country that once prized free thought, The View has become a monument to groupthink. Cheryl Hines walked in uninvited and reminded them what freedom of speech actually looks like. Sonny Hostin can keep sneering about degrees and “qualifications,” but most Americans see right through it. We don’t need another expert in a lab coat telling us how to think. We need leaders — and spouses of leaders — who aren’t afraid to ask hard questions, challenge the status quo, and use that rarest of political tools: common sense.

You Won’t Believe What the View Hosts Are Demanding Now – VIDEO

By Jimmy Parker | October 15, 2025

Read more at https://pagetraveler.com/you-wont-believe-what-the-view-hosts-are-demanding-now-video/

The ladies of ‘The View’ continue to reside in a remarkable fantasy land, utterly detached from the reality they claim to analyze. During a recent broadcast, the hosts embarked on a truly laughable narrative, suggesting they are eager to welcome Republican voices but are being thwarted by a supposed lack of courage on the right. This absurd claim is a masterclass in self-delusion, ignoring the years of vitriolic hostility that have made their program a case study in liberal media intolerance.

Joy Behar, in a moment of pure fantasy, explicitly laid out this bizarre accusation. She stated, “I was going to say that I think we should have more Republicans on the show, but they don’t want to come on. They’re scared of us.” This statement is as revealing as it is divorced from the truth. It reveals a profound inability to understand that avoidance is not born from fear, but from a rational unwillingness to subject oneself to a circus of bad-faith attacks and manufactured outrage. Whoopi Goldberg attempted to add a veneer of legitimacy to their enterprise, claiming, “But that’s the great thing about The View, you know, we want people to come and give their views. And everyone who comes here, we try to be respectful, and we ask tough questions.” This so-called “respect” is a phantom, rarely witnessed by anyone who has actually seen a conservative guest be immediately shouted down, interrupted, and labeled with the most vile epithets the left can muster.

The reality is that Republicans, and particularly the stalwart supporters of President Donald Trump, routinely venture into the most hostile media environments imaginable. They face down aggressively biased interviewers on CNN, MSNBC, and major network news programs. The suggestion that they would be “scared” of a daytime talk show hosted by a panel of perpetually outraged liberals is an insult to the intelligence of the American public. The truth is far simpler and more damning: conservatives avoid ‘The View’ for the same reason sensible people avoid deadly diseases, poisons, and toxic waste. It is a rational act of self-preservation, not an admission of cowardice.

One cannot spend years demonizing political opponents, casually throwing around terms like “fascist” and “Nazi,” and then feign confusion when those same individuals decline an invitation to your venom-filled arena. The show’s history is a testament to liberal intolerance, a platform where conservative ideas are not debated but denounced. The hosts’ sudden professed desire for Republican guests is entirely disingenuous. As the article rightly points out, the real question is: why would they want them on? The answer is clear: so they can accuse them of destroying the country to their faces in a cheap ratings grab, providing a spectacle for their like-minded audience.

WATCH

This stands in stark contrast to the strength and resilience demonstrated by President Donald Trump and his allies. While the left hides in safe spaces and refuses to engage with legitimate conservative media, President Trump has never shied away from a fight. He embodies the fortitude that the left mistakenly labels as fear in others. His administration and supporters are focused on real issues—rebuilding the economy, securing the border, and restoring American sovereignty—not on participating in the degrading circus of a show that long ago abandoned any pretense of civil discourse.

Stop the Presses: Hillary Clinton Just Praised Trump’s Middle East Peace Plan [Video]

By Jimmy Parker | October 13, 2025

Read more at https://pagetraveler.com/stop-the-presses-hillary-clinton-just-praised-trumps-middle-east-peace-plan-video/

If you felt the ground shake this week, that wasn’t an earthquake — it was Hillary Clinton actually complimenting Donald Trump on live television. During a CBS News special hosted by Norah O’Donnell, the former Secretary of State did the unthinkable: she commended Trump and his administration for laying the groundwork for what’s being called a historic Middle East peace breakthrough. Yes, you read that right — commended. As in, gave credit where credit is due.

The Remark That Shocked Both Sides

Clinton, seated next to fellow former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, acknowledged that “it’s a really significant first step,” adding, “I really commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders in the region, for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what’s often called ‘the day after.’” It wasn’t just a soundbite. She doubled down on her optimism that the ceasefire in Gaza, along with the release of hostages, could finally pave the way toward long-term peace. When a Democrat heavyweight like Hillary Clinton credits a Republican president, you know something remarkable just happened.

Trump’s Peace Legacy Outlives the Politics

While the media often glosses over it, Trump’s foreign policy in the Middle East was built on something most politicians never quite master — results. The Abraham Accords redefined the region by normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab nations. Those accords didn’t just gather dust; they became the foundation for new diplomatic progress. Now, as ceasefires hold and humanitarian cooperation grows, even critics are admitting Trump’s blueprint made a lasting difference. Clinton’s words only confirm what many observers on the Right have said for years: Trump’s approach worked because it was practical, not political.

A Rare Moment of Honesty from the Left

In a world where praise for Trump from Democrats is rarer than rain in the Mojave, Clinton’s acknowledgment stands out. Maybe it’s because she knows firsthand how hard peace deals are to negotiate — she was Secretary of State herself. Or maybe, just maybe, she sees that crediting success across party lines is what real diplomacy looks like. Either way, this was one of those rare “did that really happen?” moments on national TV. Even seasoned viewers paused, blinked, and replayed the clip just to make sure she actually said it.

When Results Speak Louder Than Politics

Here’s what makes this story so powerful: it shows that outcomes still matter. Trump’s critics spent years mocking his “deal-maker” persona, but the facts on the ground tell a different story. His relationships with Netanyahu, the Saudis, and the Qataris created the kind of leverage that Washington think tanks only dream about. As one Fox panelist quipped, “It took a real estate developer to present the vision.” It’s hard to argue with that. Trump didn’t talk in circles; he drew up plans and expected results.

The 20-Point Plan and the Path Forward

Clinton’s reference to Trump’s “20-point plan” hints at something deeper — a strategic framework that continues to shape the region’s stability. That plan outlined post-war reconstruction, humanitarian aid coordination, and steps toward lasting security for both Israelis and Palestinians. In other words, the kind of structured peace process every administration talks about but rarely executes. Clinton acknowledging it means she understands how difficult it is to move from war to peace — and how crucial it was that Trump actually put a roadmap on paper.

Condoleezza Rice Agrees — Stability Takes Structure

Condoleezza Rice, who served under President George W. Bush, backed up Clinton’s assessment, emphasizing that peace requires structure and coordination. She noted that U.S. civil-military teams and humanitarian logistics are being deployed more effectively than in past conflicts. Her take complemented Clinton’s — two former Secretaries of State from opposite parties agreeing that progress depends on clear commitments. That kind of bipartisan nod is as rare as it gets in modern politics, and once again, Trump’s groundwork was right in the center of it.

Even the Media Couldn’t Spin This One Away

To their credit, CBS aired the full clip without cutting Clinton’s praise. And to their even greater credit, they treated it like the serious news it was. No editorial gloss, no awkward segue. Just the moment itself — Hillary Clinton commending Trump for advancing peace. Whether you love her or not, that statement carries weight. It undercuts the old narrative that Trump’s foreign policy was reckless or impulsive. Instead, it reinforces what many Americans already believe: results matter more than rhetoric.

Common Ground Still Exists — When Leaders Acknowledge It

Maybe that’s the hidden story here. Not just that Hillary Clinton said something nice about Donald Trump, but that she recognized success should be celebrated, not spun. Americans are exhausted by constant division, and moments like this remind us that leadership doesn’t have to mean fighting 24/7. When leaders on both sides recognize progress, it signals a glimmer of the unity this country used to have — and could have again.

Final Thoughts: The Trump Effect Still Echoes

Whether it’s called diplomacy, deal-making, or just good old-fashioned common sense, Trump’s influence on Middle East peace isn’t fading anytime soon. Even political opponents are starting to admit it — publicly. Hillary Clinton’s acknowledgment might not make front-page news in every paper, but it’s the kind of truth that slips through when politics takes a backseat to reality. It’s proof that leadership is measured not by slogans, but by results that endure long after the term ends.

Trump’s Columbus Day Proclamation – End of Woke, Celebrates Discoverer of America, Restores Italian-American Pride

By Antonio Graceffo – The Gateway Pundit – Oct 10, 2025

President Donald Trump, in his October 9, 2025 White House Proclamation, wrote, “Today our Nation honors the legendary Christopher Columbus, the original American hero, a giant of Western civilization, and one of the most gallant and visionary men to ever walk the face of the earth.” The proclamation officially designates Monday, October 13, 2025, as Columbus Day, making it the only official holiday in October and effectively removing Indigenous Peoples Day from federal recognition.
Columbus Day has been a federal holiday since 1934 and was never abolished, but Trump’s action signaled that his administration will no longer recognize Indigenous Peoples Day. That observance had been introduced by President Biden in 2021, when he became the first U.S. president to issue a proclamation recognizing Indigenous Peoples Day alongside Columbus Day… READ MORE

Who’s Next on the Indictment List After Comey

By: Kevin Jackson | October 10, 2025

Read more at https://theblacksphere.net/2025/10/whos-next-indictment-list-after-comey/

Step right up to the most crooked game Washington ever played: FISA fraud checkers by the heart of the Obama-era Department of Justice and FBI.

Every player tossed aside the rulebook and signed their names to one of America’s largest surveillance scams. Little did Obama and his operatives know, they were playing checkers as Trump played chess.

I hope Lisa Page and Peter Strzok saved up that money Biden gave them from the bogus lawsuit, because they may need it to pay their attorneys.

What do we know?

For starters, all four Carter Page warrants according to the new and improved DOJ reports were illegal. Intentional signatures from the “best and brightest” of Obama’s hit squads who knew exactly what they were doing.

The Fatally Flawed FISA Warrants

The Department of Justice admitted all four FISA warrants on Carter Page were obtained illegally. That means every renewal was knowingly pushed through without proper foundation. And every name on those applications stamped their approval—fully aware the infamous dossier was the real catalyst. Andrew McCabe, fiction-writer-in-chief, summed it up best:

“No dossier, no FISA warrants.”

In other words, if Hillary’s paid opposition research wasn’t there, none of this would have happened.

DOJ/FBI: Signing Their Own Failure

Let’s roll out the red carpet for the DOJ and FBI officials who put pen to paper:

  • Sally Yates: As Obama’s Deputy Attorney General, Yates helped kick off the circus by signing the first (January 2017) warrant—despite doubts about its validity. Her actions brought partisan fire to federal law enforcement.
  • Dana Boente: Acting Deputy AG and chief FISA rubber-stamper, Boente signed renewals knowing the underlying claims were questionable at best, actively ignoring evidence refuting the narrative. Afterward, Boente transitioned into other top legal counsel roles—just in time to advise the Mueller operation.
  • James Comey: The man already under indictment spotlight, Comey authorized the original and renewed warrants, brushing aside internal warnings about credibility.
  • Andrew McCabe: FBI Deputy Director, and perhaps the most candid bureaucrat in D.C.—even admitting publicly the entire surveillance scheme rested on the now-debunked Steele Dossier.
  • Rod Rosenstein: The supposed grown-up in the room, Rosenstein signed off on later renewals (May and June 2017) with full knowledge that the original application was fraudulent. In a plot twist, Rosenstein later appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel—setting off the “Trump-Russia Collusion” chase.

Each of these DOJ and FBI figures not only approved illegal applications but also continued pushing renewals as new evidence emerged that debunked their original predicates, according to sources tracking FISA scandal timelines.

Judges Shuffling the Deck

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) exists to protect citizens from overreaching government snooping. In the Page fiasco, its gatekeepers did the opposite:

  • Judge Rosemary Collyer: As the court’s presiding judge, Collyer signed off despite significant holes in the application materials.
  • Judge Raymond Dearie: Approving extensions and reviewed filings without proper skepticism.
  • Judge James Conway: Also counted among FISC rubber-stampers on renewals.
  • Judge Michael Mosman: Approved multiple warrants even after controversy mounted.

The judges could have questioned the logic, demanded further documentation, or refused signatures, but instead, their acquiescence gave the DOJ carte blanche to continue illegal surveillance. Disclosures since have shown the court itself was misled about the integrity of the facts presented—a chilling reminder that judicial oversight failed spectacularly.

How the Dossier Tied It Together

At the heart of it all: the infamous Steele Dossier, funded by Clinton allies and pumped into the system via Fusion GPS. Without it, said McCabe, “there would have been no FISA warrant.” The Page v. Comey appellate saga revealed that FISA-based surveillance continued with barely a fig leaf of probable cause.

The DOJ and FBI players all knew about the Dossier’s dubious provenance, yet raced to secure wiretaps on a Trump associate. The underlying information was driven by political desperation, not legitimate intelligence. Instead of halting the process, these agencies doubled down—renewing warrants and hiding key facts from other government components and the public.

Interlocking Careers and Complicity

If this checkers game seems rigged, that’s because it was. The main characters moved in and out of top posts, ensuring self-preservation:

  • Boente shifts from acting DAG to Mueller probe lead, then becomes FBI chief legal counsel.
  • Rosenstein leaves DOJ after his FISA role, but not before enabling Mueller’s endless witch hunt.
  • Yates, lauded as a “principled resister,” was in fact an early enabler of anti-Trump abuses.
  • McCabe’s leaked memos and admissions are still reverberating, confirming the central role of the dossier.
  • Judges who approved the warrants are still on the bench—few consequences, even after admissions of error.

Each officeholder played their part to enable, extend, and obscure illegal wiretapping—in violation of the Fourth Amendment, as later court reviews noted. Meanwhile, conservatives and Trump supporters battling to expose this corruption were smeared as conspiracy theorists by the very same media that now admits the surveillance was baseless.

The Endgame: Admission and Accountability

For years, the DOJ, FBI, and the FISC shielded their own from any consequences, allowing these power players to slide into other influential jobs. Only under relentless pressure did the DOJ finally admit what millions already knew: all four FISA warrants issued were illegal. Yet, as exposure grows, true accountability still stalls.

The classic playbook: spray the media with leaks, politicize the findings, and when cornered, admit “mistakes were made”—but never apologize or offer restitution. The saga remains a blistering indictment of Deep State arrogance, and of a court system that failed to do its job when it mattered most.

Bankrupt them

Washington’s crooked checkers game didn’t just bend the rules—it threw out ethics for expediency and politics. Every signature was a move toward more surveillance, less transparency, and manufactured “Russia collusion” drama. While Comey now most likely faces a day in court, the rest of the cast should start stocking up their nuts for winter.

Frankly, part of me doesn’t care about guilt or innocence, and here’s why. First, I know enough by now to know they are all guilty. Second, I want them all bankrupted, just as they tried to do to Trump, General Flynn, Rudy Giuliani, and many others.

Comey’s Perp Walk

By: Kevin Jackson | October 8, 2025

Read more at https://theblacksphere.net/2025/10/comeys-perp-walk/

For years, James Comey strutted around Washington like the patron saint of integrity — a man who believed the FBI was one sermon short of a church.

He was the tall, sanctimonious lawman who treated press conferences like revival meetings, and himself like the high priest of righteousness. But that halo’s slipping faster than Joe Biden’s memory, because this Thursday, the former FBI Director — the one who played both puppet master and political hitman in the great anti-Trump crusade — is finally set to be arraigned in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Let that sink in. The man who orchestrated the Russia hoax, spied on Americans, and helped turn the FBI into a political protection racket for the Clintons is now facing criminal charges for lying to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. The irony is so thick, you could spread it on toast.

Comey, of course, insists he’s innocent — because nothing screams innocence quite like pre-recording a “trust me” video before your arraignment. In that clip, he swore he’d “done nothing wrong,” which, by Leftist translation, means “guilty as hell.” He’s expected to show up voluntarily, plead not guilty, and flash the smug grin of a man who still thinks he’s auditioning for MSNBC.

But here’s the tragicomedy of it all: these charges barely scratch the surface of his crimes. It’s like arresting a mob boss for jaywalking. For decades, Comey was the muscle behind the elite’s protection racket, shielding political royalty like the Clintons while turning the FBI into the enforcement arm of the DNC. Ordinary Americans went to jail for less than what Comey deleted over brunch.

Comey didn’t just bend the rules — he broke them, gift-wrapped them, and handed them to the swamp with a wink. He ran a rogue agency that spied on the Trump campaign using bogus FISA warrants, fabricated “intel,” and a media network that acted more like accomplices than journalists. Names like Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page should be carved on the same granite of infamy — the bureaucratic Mount Rushmore of deceit.

But Comey wasn’t the mastermind; he was the middle manager.

The real orders, as most of us suspect, came from higher up — Barack Obama, with perhaps a memo or two approved by the Clintons. That’s how Washington works. The people at the top don’t get their hands dirty; they hire someone like Comey to do it for them. And for years, he played that role perfectly — the bureaucratic button man in a Brooks Brothers suit.

So when word hit that Comey would face arraignment, conservatives didn’t celebrate — we exhaled. It’s justice long overdue, like finally seeing the crooked referee tossed out of the game. And while rumors swirl about whether he’ll be perp-walked, I think we all know the right answer: absolutely, yes. This is the man who greenlit dawn raids on Trump allies, sending armored FBI teams to bust down the doors of Roger Stone and Paul Manafort while CNN conveniently “just happened” to be there. If there’s anyone who deserves a flashbulb frenzy and an orange jumpsuit cameo, it’s James “Higher Loyalty” Comey.

Independent journalist Catherine Herridge recently noted that perp walks are rare, but in this case, she said, Comey “could be an exception.” Her understatement should win an award. The American people have waited eight years to see an FBI director in cuffs — a visual confirmation that the elite bubble finally popped.

Herridge also observed that Comey “played an outsized role in undermining public confidence in the FBI and Justice Department, the same institutions he was charged with protecting.” That’s putting it gently. Comey didn’t just undermine confidence; he torched it, buried the ashes, and sold the plot to CNN.

The Left will, of course, pretend to rally around him.

They’ll claim this is a “dangerous precedent,” that Trump’s Justice Department is weaponizing power. These are the same people who cheered when Trump’s allies were frog-marched for process crimes. Remember Roger Stone? They sent half of Quantico after him like he was El Chapo. So, forgive us if we’d like a little symmetry — poetic justice with flashing lights.

But even the Left’s loyalty has an expiration date. Comey won’t be their darling for long. He’s damaged goods, a burned asset. Once his usefulness runs out, they’ll toss him overboard faster than CNN drops a failed host. Think of Jimmy Kimmel’s return from suspension — he came back to thunderous applause and 6.2 million viewers, then watched his audience collapse days later. Comey’s trajectory will be the same: a brief, loud defense from the Left, followed by the quiet hum of abandonment once he starts singing to save himself. And believe me, this man will sing like a gospel choir at Sunday service.

The journey to get here wasn’t easy. The Left nearly pulled off their usual trick — running out the clock.

The statute of limitations on Comey’s crimes was set to expire, and they figured one more stolen election would bury the evidence for good. But fate had other plans. When U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert hesitated to prosecute, the administration replaced him with Lindsey Halligan — a prosecutor who actually believed in accountability. According to reports, Siebert didn’t want to touch Comey’s case, claiming “insufficient evidence.” Translation: “I like my Georgetown cocktail parties.”

Once Halligan took over, the dominoes began to fall. And like clockwork, the media started spinning. MSNBC, still operating as a “clown factory of misinformation,” tried to discredit the new leadership. Former Trump official Kash Patel fired back, reminding them that “in this FBI, follow the chain of command or get relieved.” Translation: play ball or get benched.

The indictment itself focuses on Comey’s 2020 Senate testimony, where he claimed under oath that he never authorized FBI personnel to act as anonymous sources in news stories. The problem is that prosecutors say they can prove he did exactly that — by directing law professor Daniel Richman to leak classified details of his meetings with Trump to the media. Comey thought he was being clever, laundering leaks through a “private citizen.” But Richman’s testimony backfired. He told investigators that Comey “explicitly told him not to communicate with the media” on certain topics, directly undercutting the prosecution’s case.

Understand that the new and improved DOJ would never go to court without its ducks in a row. They either can prove that Richman perjured himself, or they have additional evidence against Comey.

Understand that many witnesses recant their testimony against the Left, when they believe the Left are in power. But now that the veil of invincibility has been lifted, many whistleblowers are stepping up again.

And optics matter.

If Comey has to walk into court under flashing lights, the point’s already made. He’s no longer above the law. In fact, Reuters reported that an FBI agent was relieved of duty after refusing to participate in a staged perp walk for Comey — which means there’s internal debate over whether to humiliate him publicly. My vote? Absolutely. I want to see him in handcuffs, flanked by the same agents who once dragged innocent people out of bed in front of news cameras. Karma has a wicked sense of humor.

Devin Nunes, now heading Trump’s Intelligence Advisory Board, appeared on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss the arraignment. It’s poetic justice — Nunes was the first to expose the Russia Hoax  and now he’s watching the architect of that hoax face the music. It was Nunes who gave America its first glimpse behind the curtain — the deep-state collusion between Obama-era intelligence officials, Democrats, and a willing press. His reward? Years of mockery. His vindication? Watching Comey’s smug mug as he’s processed by U.S. Marshals.

And let’s not forget Jack Smith, the man who made it his mission to destroy Trump.

We’ve since learned that Smith spied on nine Republican Senators in his obsessive pursuit of the January 6 “insurrection” narrative. His tactics make Nixon’s plumbers look like amateurs. When Smith eventually joins Comey in the defendant’s box — and he will — it’ll mark a new chapter: accountability, the sequel.

For the American people, this isn’t about revenge. It’s about restoration. We want a government that doesn’t serve itself, one where lying to Congress gets you more than a book deal and a CNN contributor gig. We want equal justice — and not the kind that only applies to conservatives. Comey’s downfall, however partial, sends that message.

If he’s perp-walked, it’ll be the most poetic image of justice since Trump’s mugshot — a visual metaphor for an era of corruption finally cornered. If he flips and starts naming names, the whole swamp might tremble. And if he escapes with a technical acquittal, fine — the stain of exposure will linger longer than any sentence.

So yes, James Comey may walk into court a free man. But he’ll walk out something worse: irrelevant. His moral superiority act is over. The “higher loyalty” schtick has become the punchline of a bad political joke.

Justice, like comedy, is all about timing. And for James Comey, the timing couldn’t be worse — or more perfect.

Watch: Sen. Kennedy Makes Prediction on What Will End the Schumer Shutdown

By: Daphne Moon | October 8, 2025

Read more at https://thepatriotchronicles.com/news-for-you/watch-sen-kennedy-makes-prediction-on-what-will-end-the-schumer-shutdown/

While the liberal media continues to parrot talking points blaming Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown, the truth about the Democrats’ shocking spending demands is finally breaking through to the American people. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) has been a courageous voice cutting through the left’s disinformation campaign, boldly detailing the absurd and wasteful foreign projects that Chuck Schumer and his caerus are holding the American government hostage to fund.

In a powerful and revealing list, Senator Kennedy exposed the sheer insanity of the far-left’s priorities, which are being placed ahead of the needs of hardworking American taxpayers. The items that Democrats are demanding be reinstated before they agree to reopen the government are not just wasteful; they are a slap in the face to fiscal responsibility and common sense. These outrageous demands include a staggering;

  • “$3.6 million for cooking and dance workshops for male prostitutes in Haiti”
  • “over $4.2 million for LGBTQ projects in the Western Balkans and Uganda.”
  • “$6 million to subsidize Palestinian media outlets”
  • “$3 million for circumcision and vasectomies in Zambia.”
  • “more than $833,000 for transgender people in Nepal”
  • “$500,000 to purchase electric buses in Rwanda,”
  • “$300,000 to sponsor a pride parade in Lesotho.”

This is the radical agenda that Chuck Schumer has chosen to shut down the government for, proving that the Democratic Party is entirely controlled by its extreme socialist wing.

Appearing on Fox Business with host Larry Kudlow, Senator Kennedy laid out his prediction for how this manufactured crisis will ultimately end, revealing the raw political calculus behind Schumer’s actions. Kennedy stated, “I know him well. This shutdown is not about policy. It’s about politics.” He went on to explain the Minority Leader’s futile motives, saying, “He is trying to get the loon wing, the socialist wing of the Democratic Party, which is in control, to love him. And they will never love him.“”

Kennedy correctly argued that Schumer would be better off abandoning this political theater, noting he should be “doing what he did back in March and just calling it like he saw it and keeping government open.” Instead, Schumer is making an impossible ultimatum, which Kennedy summarized as, “’We’re going to keep government shut down until you Republicans and President Trump give the Democrats $1.5 trillion,’ and they’re going to tell us how to spend it.”

The Louisiana Senator predicts that the shutdown will only end when Chuck Schumer is forced to orchestrate a face-saving retreat. Kennedy told Kudlow, “It will end eventually, when Senator Schumer goes to six or eight of his members and Democrats and says, ‘Do me a favor. Vote to open it back up. I may have to criticize you. I’m not going to vote with you, but I need a way out of this. I need an off-ramp.’” He concluded that this is the inevitable outcome, warning, “But he’s got to be careful because if it looks contrived, he’s blown it. And he can’t look like he’s having a mutiny. But that’s how we’ll open back.” This entire crisis underscores the necessity of President Donald Trump’s strong stance against out-of-control spending and his commitment to putting America’s interests first.

Trump and Hegseth Military Meeting: Encouraging Strong Warrior Spirit, Rejecting Woke and DEI

By Antonio Graceffo – The Gateway Pundit – Oct 1, 2025

“From this moment forward, the only mission of the newly restored Department of War is this: warfighting, preparing for war and preparing to win, unrelenting and uncompromising in that pursuit not because we want war, no one here wants war, but it’s because we love peace…Our number one job, of course, is to be strong so that we can prevent war in the first place.” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth

On September 30, 2025, at Marine Corps Base Quantico, President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth addressed hundreds of generals and flag officers, outlining a sweeping transformation of the U.S. military. The two leaders presented a united vision for restoring a warfighting culture built on merit, discipline, and strength.

President Trump told the assembled military leaders, “We’re bringing back a focus on fitness, ability, character, and strength, and that’s because the purpose of the… READ MORE

Fully embracing anarchy, Democrat leaders in Chicago, a sanctuary city; and in Illinois, a sanctuary state, are using every possible method to thwart federal immigration authorities from removing illegal aliens and curtailing rampant crime there.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson issued an executive order Monday creating an ICE Free Zone, preventing ICE from using city property, such as parking lots, as staging areas, or for enforcement actions. City agencies are directed to use physical barriers like locked gates to limit access to city property, and report to the mayor any attempted use of city property for immigration enforcement. Chicago taxpayers will fund a city-wide distribution of “Know Your Rights” materials for employees, tenants, and security staff, training them to deal with federal agents wishing to use city property.

Gov. JB Pritzker announced the state filed a lawsuit Monday seeking a temporary restraining order to block President Donald Trump from using Illinois and Texas National Guard troops to manage crime in Chicago.

“Illinois is going to use every lever at our disposal to resist this power grab and get (DHS Sec. Kristi) Noem’s thugs hell out of Chicago,” Pritzker said in a Monday afternoon press conference. He also said several times that Texas troops should, “stay the hell out of Illinois.”

Over the weekend, Oct. 4, Border Patrol agents were conducting a patrol in Chicago when their vehicle was rammed by other vehicles and they were boxed in by 10 cars, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) statement.

“The officers exited their trapped vehicle, when a suspect tried to run them over, forcing the officers to fire defensively,” the statement said. “One of the drivers who rammed the law enforcement vehicle was armed with a semi-automatic weapon. Law enforcement was forced to deploy their weapons and fired defensive shots at an armed U.S. citizen who drove herself to the hospital to get care for wounds.”

An angry crowd gathered around ICE agents and instead of offering back up assistance, Chicago Police offers on the scene left, according to DHS, and those on the way were instructed to stage blocks away, leaving ICE on its own, according to reporting from FOX News.

This incident alone underscores how out of control crime is in Chicago. It is not every city where goons feel comfortable ramming a law enforcement vehicle and surrounding it. There were 22 shootings in Chicago over the weekend. Yet local officials insisted that crime is down, and federal help is not wanted or needed.

During the press conference, Johnson spoke of people showing up to “organize, to build the resistance.”

“It’s going to take everything, litigation, executive orders, legislation, and I believe, most importantly, the people of this city and county, the state, and throughout the country, pushing back against tyranny,” Johnson said.

Reporters asked provocative questions such as what measures officials are willing to take if they don’t win in court, and are they calling for a civil war?

Pritzker said the federal government is “creating an environment in which they’re inciting people to do something more than just peacefully protest.” And he fearmongered, claiming federal officials were “firing at people who are doing nothing more than yelling” and “saying what they believe, or holding signs.” He makes it sound like calm people are just standing around getting shot by the federal government, totally unprovoked, and in the same press conference people were urged to “organize” and “build a resistance” against Trump. The politicians are trying to whip the public up into a frenzy.

Pritzker planned on going to court before Trump called up the National Guard. His legal team has been working, “for weeks,” he said, writing the case that was filed Monday, in anticipation of the arrival of federal troops.

Pritzker is also upset that the U.S. Border Patrol has been sent to the city.

“They have declared that the border is at the shores of Lake Michigan. That is why they’re allowed to operate now, or at least why they’re being told they’re allowed to operate in the city of Chicago. That doesn’t seem right to me,” Pritzker said. He said as far as he knows, the border is on the other side of Lake Michigan.

Operation Arctic Fraud: Jack Smith’s Cold War Against Trump

By: Kevin Jackson | October 7, 2025

Is anybody surprised to learn that Jack Smith is a criminal?

That’s like being shocked to find out a Kardashian staged a photo op. The only real mystery here is how this guy keeps getting taxpayer-funded badges to break laws he’s supposed to enforce.

According to a Newsbreak report, former Special Counsel Jack Smith allegedly authorized surveillance on nearly a dozen Republican senators during his “investigation” into January 6. The DOJ document—discovered by FBI Director Kash Patel—details a scheme dubbed “Operation Arctic Frost.” Cute name. Sounds like a limited-edition Slurpee flavor, except this one’s spiked with espionage and arrogance.

Smith allegedly tracked private communications and phone calls from Senators Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn, Ron Johnson, Josh Hawley, Cynthia Lummis, Bill Hagerty, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, and Congressman Mike Kelly. That’s not an investigation — that’s political reconnaissance. It’s like the DOJ decided to become the Democrat National Committee’s spy agency.

Now, let’s play along with their delusion.

Let’s assume, for argument’s sake, that there was a legitimate reason to track Republicans’ phones. Fine. What did they find? A fantasy football league and a bunch of text messages about border security? Meanwhile, the Democrats’ phones from the J6 Committee days — poof — gone. Wiped cleaner than Hunter Biden’s laptop after a visit from the Secret Service.

And speaking of cover-ups, every key J6 Committee member got their preemptive Biden-issued “autopen pardon.” Nothing screams innocence like a co-conspirator providing “just in case” legal protection before the evidence shows up.

Now let’s zoom out a bit. Jack Smith didn’t stumble into corruption.

He’s not a rogue operator — he’s part of the treasonous cabal that turned the DOJ into the enforcement arm of the Democratic Party. His history with Trump goes back years, and every move he’s made since has had the same goal: destroy the man who refuses to bow to their Deep State altar.

Remember when Democrats called January 6 an “insurrection”? Notice how not one person has been charged with actual insurrection. It’s almost as if the government knows the word doesn’t apply when nobody’s armed, no government was overthrown, and the only thing actually destroyed was Americans’ faith in election integrity.

By now, even the most hopeless Leftist barista in a Che Guevara T-shirt knows J6 was a cover-up.

The Democrats needed a spectacle — a smoke bomb to distract from their 2020 election heist. They had to convince America that the guy who drew 60,000 people to rallies somehow lost to the guy who couldn’t draw 60 to a Zoom call. The math only works if you ignore arithmetic.

President Trump, of course, has been vindicated by time. He knows he was cheated out of a second term, but in true Trumpian fashion, he’s weaponized the waiting game. The delay allowed every corrupt actor to leave a trail of digital breadcrumbs, and now, one by one, those crumbs lead straight to Democrat doorsteps. These aren’t geniuses, folks — these are bureaucrats who think “delete” is the same as “destroy.”

The walls are closing in — but this time, on them.

Take James Comey. His indictment sent shockwaves through D.C., mostly because the Left suddenly realized their “untouchables” aren’t. The Comey domino is the first in a long line. Once he flips — and he will — the floodgates will open. Bureaucrats, aides, media operatives — the entire swamp ecosystem will start squealing like Fauci at a gain-of-function hearing.

And then there’s General Mark Milley — Mr. “I secretly called China to undermine my commander-in-chief.” Recently, even he admitted he could face court-martial for his actions. Translation: “I did it, I know I did it, and I’m praying for a plea deal.” Don’t think Milley suddenly realized this, as he’s known this for years. But like other Leftists who targeted Trump, he never thought he would get found out. After all, they had destroyed Trump, right?

The Left is cracking under its own hypocrisy.

These people spent years calling Trump a dictator while literally using intelligence agencies to spy on elected officials. And all their chest-pounding over “rule of law” and so on provided cover for their treason. Temporarily.

Jack Smith’s “Operation Arctic Frost” wasn’t just about surveillance. It was about control — about keeping tabs on anyone who might expose the truth. When the DOJ spies on sitting senators, it’s not democracy. It’s tyranny with better branding.

Ironically, every Democrat who’s ever screamed about “threats to democracy” is now defending a man who illegally tapped political opponents. These are the same people who fainted over Trump’s tweets but shrug when federal agencies behave like the Stasi. If irony were currency, Democrats would have paid off the national debt by now.

So where does this go?

My bet — the thread unravels fast. Because when corruption this deep is exposed, it never stops at the first name. Jack Smith’s downfall will trigger a cascade — DOJ officials, FBI players, even sitting politicians who thought “Arctic Frost” would stay buried. Spoiler alert: there’s no permafrost thick enough to preserve this kind of rot.

And that brings us to the political weather forecast: a deep freeze for the Left. The Uniparty’s about to get frostbite in some sensitive places. Trump isn’t just exposing the swamp — he’s forcing it to melt itself. Every time Democrats act to “save democracy,” they end up proving why it needs saving from them.

Operation Arctic Frost won’t be remembered as an investigation. It’ll be remembered as the moment the Left’s paranoia became its undoing — the day the hunters realized they’d been wiretapping their own graves.

Because when all’s said and done, you can only keep secrets so long before they start keeping you.

The Left’s biggest lie is that Biden won the 2020 election. And their next biggest lie is how they created the J6 narrative to protect the lie. Now those lies are front and center.

Comey will have lots of company soon, as new indictments come. And the names on the list will be shocking for only one reason: we finally got them.
