John McCain admits he gave FBI the Trump smear dossier

waving flagJanuary 11, 2017 Authored By

Arizona Sen. John McCain cemented his RINO status when he admitted Tuesday that he handed the dossier that smeared Donald Trump to the FBI. “Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,” he wrote in a statement on his website.

“Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI.
“That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.”

President-elect Trump and his staff have vehemently denied the veracity of the reports.

Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein told CNN that McCain was more intimately involved in the documents than he admitted.

“It came from a former British MI6 agent who was hired from a political opposition research firm in Washington who was doing work about Donald Trump for both republican and democratic candidates opposed to Trump,” he said.

“They were looking at Trumps business ties, they saw some questionable things about Russians, about his businesses in Russia, they in turn hired this MI6 former investigator, he then came up with additional information from his Russian sources, he was very concerned by the implications of it, he then took it to a FBI colleague that he had known in his undercover work for years, he took it to this FBI man in Rome who turned it over to the bureau in Washington in August.”

“And then, a former British ambassador to Russia independently was made aware of these findings and he took the information to John McCain – Senator John McCain of Arizona – in the period just after the election, and showed it to McCain – additional findings.”

“McCain was sufficiently disturbed by what he read to take it to FBI director James Comey himself personally, they had a five-minute meeting, very little was said, McCain turned it over to him and is now awaiting what the FBI’s response is to that information.”

McCain on Ukraine: ‘I’m Ashamed’ of My Country, My President, Myself

<!– PerfectMarket

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) stunned Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer on Sunday morning when he said he was ashamed of his country, of President Barack Obama, and of himself for not providing Ukrainians with weapons to prevent the ongoing bloodshed in Ukraine.

For starters, McCain called German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President François Hollande “shameful” because they, according to him, ”legitimized, for the first time in 70 years, the dismemberment of a country in Europe.”

“The Ukrainians aren’t asking for American boots on the ground, that’s not the question here,” McCain said. “They’re asking for weapons to defend themselves and they’re being slaughtered and their military is being shattered.” Then came the line that stunned Schieffer: “This is a shameful chapter. I’m ashamed of my country, I’m ashamed of my president, and I’m ashamed of myself that I haven’t done more to help these people. It is really, really, heartbreaking.”

McCain has been a forceful advocate of providing the Ukrainians with weapons to counter the “aggression” coming from the Russians. That has yet to occur, and as a result, McCain said, Russian President Vladimir Putin is succeeding in making sure Ukraine is not part of Europe.Putin over Obama Sanctions-Bear-Little Stand-Off-590-LA That's Nothing Watch This Trampled-on-600-wLogo Ukraine-Purse-Bandit You call those sanctions

At the end of the interview, Schieffer expressed his shock: “Well I’ll say this, senator. I’ve known you for a long, long time, interviewed you many, many times. I’ve never heard you say, ‘I’m ashamed of my country,’ which you just said.”

McCain: ISIS Advance Shows ‘Ineffectiveness and Fecklessness’ of Air Strikes

Obamacare

By Susan Jones / October 7, 2014 – 5:53 AM

Imperial Islamic President Obama(CNSNews.com) – Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), an early and vocal advocate of U.S. intervention in Syria, is warning of “mass slaughter” in Kobani, a Syrian town on the border with Turkey where fighting raged on Monday.

Islamic State fighters are battling Kurdish defenders for control of Kobani. “And if it falls, there is going to be a mass slaughter,” McCain told Fox News’s Neil Cavuto on Monday. And there will be no better indication of the ineffectiveness and fecklessness of this air campaign we’re now seeing, where you warn the enemy weeks ahead of time.

“You know those pictures of those buildings you see being blown up with such accuracy? Most of them were empty. Any military guy will tell you is, you strike first and then tell the enemy about it, not give them a week’s warning.”

McCain says it’s important to strike the enemy hard and fast, to do that, “you may have to have American Special Forces on the ground.” President Obama has ruled out a ground offensive, but McCain said, “Eventually, he will have to do it. It’s just a matter of time.”

“[W]hen you go in incrementally, with incremental increases, my friend, we saw that movie in Vietnam, where we incrementally increased. And that doesn`t work. You have got to strike hard. And you have got to strike fast, and you have to do what is necessary in order to win.’

“This is a threat to the United States of America. And I’m — I am very, very disillusioned, particularly when we`re going to train 5,000 young Syrians, send them back in to be bombed by Bashar al-Assad. That’s immoral. That’s immoral to do that. You have to give them a no-fly zone — a no-fly zone in which to operate.’

“According to the Associated Press: Capturing Kobani would give the Islamic State group, which already rules a huge stretch of territory spanning the Syria-Iraq border, a direct link between its positions in the Syrian province of Aleppo and its stronghold of Raqqa, to the east. It would also crush a lingering pocket of resistance and give the group full control of a large stretch of the Turkish-Syrian border.”

The AP also reported that Syria’s Kurds have been lobbying for greater support from the international community to help them in their fight against the Islamic State militants. While the U.S.-led coalition has carried out some airstrikes against militant positions around Kobani, those strikes have failed to blunt the extremists’ advance.

At the State Department Monday, a reporter asked why the United States hasn’t done more to stop ISIS fighters from closing in on Kobani.

“It’s an ongoing effort,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki replied. “I would refer you to DOD for more about their military strategy, but obviously this is something where we’ve long said from the beginning that this would take some time. We’re working closely to do everything we can to help push back ISIL in this part of the country, but again, I don’t have any other military updates from here.”
