Gianna Jessen Asks Congress “If abortion is about women’s rights, then what were mine?”

“If abortion is about women’s rights, then what were mine?” Gianna Jessen asked a House Judiciary Committee that question today — and with good reason. Thirty-eight years ago, Jessen miraculously survived a saline abortion. This morning, she told her remarkable story to a House Judiciary Committee investigating Planned Parenthood’s practice of harvesting and selling the body parts of aborted babies — even from those that may have been born alive. Fellow abortion survivor Melissa Ohden also shared her own gripping testimony. Below are the video and transcript of Jessen’s testimony, including some photographs she submitted as evidence. Listen and weep, and pray that God ends this evil.

Good morning,

My name is Gianna Jessen, and I would like to thank you for the opportunity to testify here today. My biological mother was seven and a half months pregnant when she went to Planned Parenthood, who advised her to have a late-term saline abortion.

This method of abortion burns the baby inside and out, blinding and suffocating the child, who is then born dead, usually within 24 hours.

Instead of dying, after 18 hours of being burned in my mother’s womb, I was delivered alive in an abortion clinic in Los Angeles on April the 6th, 1977. My medical records state: “Born alive during saline abortion” at 6 am.

Thankfully, the abortionist was not at work yet. Had he been there, he would have ended my life with strangulation, suffocation, or leaving me there to die. Instead, a nurse called an ambulance, and I was rushed to a hospital. Doctors did not expect me to live.

I did. I was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, which was caused by a lack of oxygen to my brain while surviving the abortion. I was never supposed to hold my head up or walk. I do. And Cerebral Palsy is a great gift to me.

I was eventually placed in foster care and later adopted. I forgive my biological mother. Within the first year after my birth, I was used as an expert witness in a case where an abortionist had been caught strangling a child to death after being born alive.

Planned Parenthood is not ashamed of what they have done or continue to do. But we will have to give an account as a nation, before God, for our apathy and for themurder of over 50 million children in the womb. Every time we falter in courage as individuals and fail to confront this evil, I wonder how many lives have been lost in our silence, while we make sure we are lauded among men and do not offend anyone? How many children have died, and been dismembered, and their parts sold, for our ego, our convenience, and our promiscuity? How many Lamborghini’s were purchased with the blood of innocent children? The blood that cries to the Lord from the ground, like that of the blood of Abel. Not one of them is forgotten by Him.

I would ask Planned Parenthood the following questions:

If abortion is about women’s rights, then what were mine? You continuously use the argument, “If the baby is disabled, we need to terminate the pregnancy,” as if you can determine the quality of someone’s life. Is my life less valuable due to my Cerebral Palsy?

You have failed, in your arrogance and greed, to see one thing: it is often from the weakest among us that we learn wisdom – something sorely lacking in our nation today. And it is both our folly and our shame that blinds us to the beauty of adversity.

Planned Parenthood uses deception, the manipulation of language and slogans, such as “a woman’s right to choose,” to achieve their monetary aims.

I will illustrate how well they employ this technique with the following quote: “The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.” – Adolf Hitler

We often hear that if Planned Parenthood were to be defunded, there would be a health crisis among women without the services they provide. This is absolutely false. Pregnancy resource centers are located nationwide as an option for the woman in crisis. All of their services are free and confidential, and they can be reached by texting: “HELPLINE” to 313131. There is access to vital exams for women other than Planned Parenthood. We are not a nation without options.

Planned Parenthood receives $500 million dollars of taxpayer money a year, to primarily destroy and dismember babies. Do not tell me these are not children. A heartbeat proves that. So does 4-d ultrasound. So do I, and so does the fact that they are selling human organs for profit. Do not tell me this is only a woman’s issue. It takes both a man and a woman to create a child. And to that point I wish to speak to the men listening to me: You are made for greatness, not passivity. You were born to defend women and children. Not use and abandon us, nor sit idly by while you know we are being harmed. I am asking you to be brave.

In conclusion, let me say, I am alive because of the Power of Jesus Christ alone. In Whom I live, move, and have my being. Without Him I would have nothing; with Him, I have all.

13 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger

Planned Parenthood, engulfed in a scandal following the release of two undercover videos, is the largest abortion provider in the United States. On its website, the organization compliments Margaret Sanger as one of the pro-choice movement’s “great heroes.” Sanger started the American Birth Control League in 1921; it became part of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 1942.

Planned Parenthood praises Sanger for “providing contraception and other health services” and “advancing access to family planning in the United States and around the world.” In addition to Planned Parenthood, Sanger also founded the Birth Control Review, a journal about contraception and population control.

Here are 13 things Sanger said during her lifetime.

1) She proposed allowing Congress to solve “population problems” by appointing a “Parliament of Population.”

“Directors representing the various branches of science [in the Parliament would] … direct and control the population through birth rates and immigration, and direct its distribution over the country according to national needs consistent with taste, fitness and interest of the individuals.” —“A Plan for Peace,” Birth Control Review, April 1932, pages 107-108

2) Sanger called the various methods of population control, including abortion, “defending the unborn against their own disabilities.” —“A Plan for Peace,” Birth Control Review, April 1932, pages 107-108

3) Sanger believed that the United States should “keep the doors of immigration closed to the entrance of certain aliens whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race, such as feebleminded, idiots, morons, Insane, syphilitic, epileptic, criminal, professional prostitutes, and others in this class barred by the immigration laws of 1924.” —“A Plan for Peace,” Birth Control Review, April 1932, pages 107-108

4) Sanger advocated “a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.” —“A Plan for Peace,” Birth Control Review, April 1932, pages 107-108

5) People whom Sanger considered unfit, she wrote, should be sent to “farm lands and homesteads” where “they would be taught to work under competent instructors for the period of their entire lives.” —“A Plan for Peace,” Birth Control Review, April 1932, pages 107-108

6) She was an advocate of a proposal called the “American Baby Code.”

“The results desired are obviously selective births,” she wrote.

7) While advocating for the American Baby Code, she argued that marriage licenses should provide couples with the right to only “a common household” but not parenthood. In fact, couples should have to obtain a permit to become parents:

Article 3. A marriage license shall in itself give husband and wife only the right to a common household and not the right to parenthood.

Article 4. No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, and no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit for parenthood.

Article 5. Permits for parenthood shall be issued upon application by city, county, or state authorities to married couples, providing they are financially able to support the expected child, have the qualifications needed for proper rearing of the child, have no transmissible diseases, and, on the woman’s part, no medical indication that maternity is likely to result in death or permanent injury to health.

Article 6. No permit for parenthood shall be valid for more than one birth.

“All that sounds highly revolutionary, and it might be impossible to put the scheme into practice,” Sanger wrote. She added: “What is social planning without a quota?” —“America Needs a Code for Babies,” March 27, 1934, Margaret Sanger Papers, Library of Congress, 128:0312B

8) She believed that large families were detrimental to society.

“The most serious evil of our times is that of encouraging the bringing into the world of large families. The most immoral practice of the day is breeding too many children,” she wrote.

“The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it,” she continued. —“Woman and the New Race,” 1920, Chapter 5: The Wickedness of Creating Large Families

9) She argued that motherhood must be “efficient.”

“Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives,” Sanger wrote. —“Woman and the New Race,” 1920, Chapter 18: The Goal

10) Population control, she wrote, would bring about the “materials of a new race.”

“If we are to develop in America a new race with a racial soul, we must keep the birth rate within the scope of our ability to understand as well as to educate. We must not encourage reproduction beyond our capacity to assimilate our numbers so as to make the coming generation into such physically fit, mentally capable, socially alert individuals as are the ideal of a democracy,” Sanger wrote. —“Woman and the New Race,” 1920, Chapter 3: The Materials of the New Race

11) Sanger wrote that an excess in population must be reduced.

“War, famine, poverty and oppression of the workers will continue while woman makes life cheap,” she wrote.

13) In an interview with Mike Wallace in 1957, Sanger said, “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world, that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically.”

“Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they’re born. That to me is the greatest sin—that people can—can commit,” she said.

Full, Unedited 8th Video Confirms Planned Parenthood Sells Fully Intact Aborted Babies

Today, the Center for Medical Progress released the full, uncut video of the conversation between undercover investigators form CMP and top officials with StemExpress, which buys aborted babies and their body parts from Planned Parenthood. The full footage is of a shorter video that summarized the meetings earlier this week.

The release of the full, unedited video also comes one day after Planned Parenthood released a new report claiming the eight videos released exposing it were “altered.” The abortion giant says the videos were manipulated and therefore not eligible for serious inquiry by Congress, which has launched two joint investigations of the abortion corporation. Still, Planned Parenthood’s own paid for experts admitted that there was no evidence of any manipulation of the audio in any of the eight shocking videos.

The full two-hour-long video appears below:

While the videos have focused on the Planned Parenthood abortion business, the biotech firm StemExpress, which buys and resells aborted baby body parts from the abortion giant, has filed a lawsuit seeking to block some information the Center for Medical Progress obtained in its three year undercover operation. Just a short time after a judge issued a ruling that the biotech firm StemExpress can’t block the Center for Medical Progress from releasing videos, it put together a preview of its latest installment.

StemExpress is a for-profit biotech supply company that has been partnered with Planned Parenthood clinics across the country to purchase human fetal parts since its founding in 2010. StemExpress’ Medical Director, Dr. Ronald Berman, is an abortion doctor for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte in California.

In the video, Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress, is shown in a lunch meeting with undercover operatives posing as representatives of a biotech firm. Dyer is laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. She laughs about how shippers of the aborted babies would give a warning to lab workers to expect such a baby.

“Oh yeah, if you have intact cases — which we’ve done a lot — we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety,” she says.

“Tell the lab its coming,” she laughs about the intact unborn babies. “You know, open the box and go ‘Oh my God,’” Dyer adds.

The eighth video in the ongoing controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted fetal body parts shows the CEO of StemExpress, a major buyer of fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood, admitting the company gets “a lot” of intact fetuses, suggesting “another 50 livers a week” would not be enough, and agreeing abortion clinics should profit from the sale.

In the video, actors posing as another human biologics company meet with StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer, plus Vice President of Corporate Development and Legal Affairs Kevin Cooksy, and Procurement Manager Megan Barr. StemExpress and the actors are discussing a potential partnership to supply extra fetal body parts to each other.

“So many physicians are like, ‘Oh I can totally procure tissue,’ and they can’t,” expresses Dyer, seeming to indicate that abortion doctors must do the procedure in a special way to obtain useable fetal parts. Federal law requires that no alteration in the timing or method of abortion be done for the purposes of fetal tissue collection (42 U.S.C. 289g-1).

“What about intact specimens?” asks one of the actors. “Oh yeah, I mean if you have intact cases, which we’ve done a lot, we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety,” replies Dyer. “Case” is the clinical term for an abortion procedure. An “intact case” refers to an intact abortion with a whole fetus. “The entire case?” asks an actor. “Yeah, yeah,” says Dyer. “The procurement for us, I mean it can go really sideways, depending on the facility, and then our samples are destroyed,” she explains past botched fetal dissections, “so we started bringing them back even to manage it from a procurement expert standpoint.”

Feticidal chemicals like digoxin cannot be used to kill the fetus in a tissue procurement case, so a fetus delivered intact for organ harvesting is likely to be a born-alive infant.

“What would make your lab happy?” asks one of the actors. “Another 50 livers a week,” says Dyer. “We’re working with almost like triple digit number clinics,” Dyer explains, “and we still need more.” She later notes, “Planned Parenthood has volume, because they are a volume institution.”

Dyer also agrees that payments to abortion clinics for fetal body parts should be financially beneficial to them.

“Do you feel like there are clinics out there that have been burned, that feel like they’re doing all this work for research and it hasn’t been profitable for them?” she asks. “I haven’t seen that.” StemExpress publishes a flyer for Planned Parenthood clinics that promises “Financial Profits” and “fiscal rewards” for clinics that supply aborted fetal tissue. It is endorsed by Planned Parenthood Mar Monte Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dorothy Furgerson.

The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2). The Sacramento Business Journal reported in June that StemExpress has an annual revenue of $4.5 million.

David Daleiden, the head of CMP, commented on the newest video in a statement to LifeNews.

“StemExpress is the ‘weakest link’ that unravels Planned Parenthood’s baby parts chain–they readily admit the profit-motive that Planned Parenthood and their proxies have in supplying aborted baby parts,” he said. “Congress and law enforcement should immediately seize all fetal tissue files from StemExpress and all communications and contracts with Planned Parenthood. The evidence that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of aborted baby parts is now overwhelming, and not one more dime of taxpayer money should go to their corrupt and fraudulent criminal enterprise.”

After the swarm of negative publicity surrounding Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies and their body parts, StemExpress was forced to cut ties with the abortion company.

Meanwhile, two committees in the House of Representatives have already launched investigations of Planned Parenthood. One committee is looking into whether or not the abortion business is breaking federal law by altering abortion procedures to better obtain aborted baby body parts for sale. Another committee, among other things, is investigating the Obama administration and whether there is any connection between it and the abortion giant.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform wants to know if the Obama administration, via the Department of Health and Human Services, provided any federal grants to Planned Parenthood that ultimately went to pay for the sales of aborted baby body parts and if they were used by Planned Parenthood to “support transactions involving fetal tissue.”

The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation. Here is a list of all eight:

In the first video: Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on baby-crushing: “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
In the second video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Mary Gatter joked, “I want a Lamborghini” as she negotiated the best price for baby parts.
In the third video: Holly O’Donnell, a former Stem Express employee who worked inside a Planned Parenthood clinic, detailed first-hand the unspeakable atrocities and how she fainted in horror over handling baby legs.
In the fourth video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Savita Ginde stated, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kidneys that were “good to go.”
In the fifth video: Melissa Farrell of Planned Parenthood-Gulf Coast in Houston boasted of Planned Parenthood’s skill in obtaining “intact fetal cadavers” and how her “research” department “contributes so much to the bottom line of our organization here, you know we’re one of the largest affiliates, our Research Department is the largest in the United States.”
In the sixth video: Holly O’Donnell described technicians taking fetal parts without patient consent: “There were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
In the seventh and perhaps most disturbing video: Holly O’Donnell described the harvesting, or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA. “‘You want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must Investigate Planned Parenthood for Selling Aborted Baby Parts

So far, 12 states have responded to the Planned Parenthood videos and launched investigations into their abortion and organ harvesting business including South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana. The district attorney in Houston Texas is also investigating after the Houston-based Planned Parenthood abortion facility was caught selling aborted babies.

Congress has expanded its investigation into the Planned Parenthood abortion business and five states have revoked taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood’s abortion business, including Utah, Arkansas, Alabama, New Hampshire and Louisiana and Iowa’s governor has ordered a review of Planned Parenthood funding.

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating “humanized” mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.

The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. That’s why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.

Obama Punishes Kansas for De-Funding Planned Parenthood by Cutting Its Medicaid Funding

The Obama administration has punished the state of Kansas for cutting taxpayer funds for the Planned Parenthood abortion business by cutting its federal Medicaid funding by the same amount. The moves comes at the same time the abortion giant is facing intense criticism over its sales of aborted babies and their body parts. In 2011, pro-life Governor Sam Brownback signed a bill signed into law a bill that would shift funding away from the Planned Parenthood abortion business and stops abortion funding in health insurance programs. The Kansas Senate passed the measure on a 28-10 vote and the state House followed suit with an 86-30 vote.

The measure has the state budget directing over $300,000 in Title 10 money to local full-service health clinics instead of Planed Parenthood and it places $300,000 into the Stan Clark grant-matched fund for pregnancy support and adoption counseling. The funding cuts eventually resulted in the Planned Parenthood abortion business closing one of its centers.

Now, the Obama administration, in the wake of additional states cutting Planned Parenthood funding following the massive scandal, is going after one state that already cut tax-funding to the abortion company. According to an AP report: “The federal government reduced its Title X funding to the state by about the $370,000 annually in Title X money that two Planned Parenthood facilities in Wichita and Hays and an unaffiliated clinic in Dodge City had been receiving.”

While Kansas revoked taxpayer dollars for an abortion business, the Obama administration’s decision hurts women’s health and deprives them of legitimate medical and health care.

As AP reports, “Medical providers say that means low-income patients are finding it harder to access birth control, cancer screenings and other reproductive health care services. People have fewer places to go, and for those with limited means that may make utilizing those services even more difficult,” said J’Vonnah Maryman, director for public health at the Sedgwick County Health Department.

In terms of the pro-life law de-funding Planned Parenthood, the insurance portion of the legislation prohibits private health insurance companies from forcing enrollees to pay for abortions and it makes those who want to potentially have abortion coverage pay for an insurance rider. It also ensures abortions can’t be paid for with taxpayer dollars through the state exchanges set up under the federal Obamacare health care law.

Early this morning, the Center for Medical Progress released their full eighth video exposé on Planned Parenthood’s participation in illegally selling fetal body parts for profit. (SCROLL DOWN TO WATCH THE VIDEO) Today’s installment focuses on one luncheon meeting with actors posing as representatives of a biotech company and StemExpress’ CEO Cate Dyer. Dyer explains how her relationship with Planned Parenthood has been a profitable one because of the increasing demand for fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood provides the volume they need to keep up with the demand, which StemExpress struggles to fill. Fetal livers, in particular are in such great demand that her business cannot keep up.

Dyer was seeking a partnership with the actors, hoping to increase her supply of fetal tissue products.

“What would make your lab happy?” the buyer asked.

“Another fifty livers a week,” Dyer responded without hesitation.

“We’re working with, you know, almost triple digit number of clinics. So it’s a lot on volume, and we still need more than what we do. So it’s a lot,” she said.

According to Dyer, StemExpress does about half their fetal tissue procurement business with Planned Parenthood and the other half with “independent” abortion clinics. But she explained, “Planned Parenthood has volume, because they’re a volume institution.”

Dyer said she feels great support from Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards and Senior Medical Director Deborah Nucatola. “You know, Everyone at PPFA and just the affiliates – I just think you’re either in the cause or you’re not. And if you’re not in the cause, like, they don’t need you around,” Dyer said. “The need champions, and if you’re not a champion, then you should go. Because that’s just, you know – I don’t know, the clinics, they’re very guarded, as they should be. Who do they let in their house? They want champions in their house. Right?”

As for profitability, StemExpress makes sure that their partner clinics see a financial benefit from partnering with it. A brochure produced for Planned Parenthood abortion clinics assure them that they will see fiscal rewards from their participation in fetal organ harvesting. The brochure is even endorsed by Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Dorothy Ferguson of the Mar Monte affiliate. “But there’s clinics out there that have been burned that feel like they’re doing all this work for research and it hasn’t been profitable for them. . .I don’t see that either,” said Dyer.

“There can be no doubt of the profit motive behind Planned Parenthood’s participation in the illegal selling of aborted baby remains. If they say otherwise, they are just trying to deny their part in criminal conduct. Right now, everyone at Planned Parenthood is trying to save their own hides from criminal prosecution, so they’ll never admit to anything,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue who sits on the Board of the Center for Medical Progress.

Dyer also discusses the challenges of organ procurement from abortion clinics. She complains that some providers are destroying samples that have been promised to StemExpress customers. Others, she said, cannot properly identify organs and have, for example, misidentified blood clots for fetal livers, which costs her company money. But dealing with clinics that supply tainted tissues seems to be her main problem with abortion facilities.

“Big issue I mean, so you know, we’ve seen all sorts of things, but yeast contamination, you know, that can be an issue, she said.

Dyer said her company is forced to take steps to make sure they are not investing a lot of money in tissue samples that are contaminated. “Sometimes you find that it can be clinic-specific. I’ve seen really rampant, rampant problems with bacteria in certain clinics. Some where you’re kind of like in question of really, should they, you know – I’ve see staph come out of clinics. So, I mean, I’ve seen all sorts of things come out of clinics. . .”

Dyer discusses the difficulties of procuring brains for those who request them.

“As you probably know, potentially, I mean, I think that one of the issues with neural tissue, it’s so fragile. It’s insanely fragile. . .I know we get requests for neural. It’s the hardest thing in the world to ship.”

She agrees that shipping the whole calvarium, or head of the baby, is the easiest way to ensure the brain tissue arrives at its destination intact and usable. “And I mean, we’ve actually had good success with that,” said Dyer, indicating that intact heads are the best way to procure brains. “But make sure the eyes are closed,” joked the buyer. Dyer obviously appreciated the joke and laughed heartily. It even got a bit of a smile out of the otherwise stoic gentleman that accompanied Dyer to the business lunch. Dyer took the joke further, “Yeah! Tell the lab it’s coming! So they don’t open the box and go, ‘Oh God!’”m

After the laughing subsided, Dyer relates an important insight about researchers she deals with and the denial many of them must embrace in order to conduct their experimentation on human baby body parts. “So yeah, whereas so many of the academic labs cannot fly like that, they’re just not capable. . . It’s almost like they don’t want to know where it comes from. I can see that. Where they’re like, ‘We need limbs, but no hand and feet need to be attached.’ And you’re like, ? Or they just want the long bones and they don’t want to see – They want you to take it all off, like, ‘Make it so that we don’t know what it is.’. . . Yeah, ‘Bone the chicken for me and then – That’s it. But we know what it is, I mean, but their lab. . .And their lab techs freak out, and have meltdowns, and so it’s just like, yeah.”

Dyer described why many researchers are squeamish about using fetal tissue. “Because they sort of want to get away from having to publish a picture – a paper that says this was derived from fetal tissue,” she explained. “There are ethical and moral issues with experimenting on human tissues derived from aborted babies. It is completely different than handling adult tissues,” said Newman.

Adult tissue procurement is highly regulated. Consents are signed and the remains are treated with respect. Often, the unused remains are returned to the families for interment. But not so with fetal remains.

“Babies can’t consent. Their remains are treated as a commodity, not with the respect of a human being. There is something innately exploitive and morally troubling about using baby remains in this way,” said Newman. “It is a fact that exploitive human experimentation on murdered people took a toll on the Nazi doctors during World War II. There is plenty of historical precedent to warn us against such barbarity. In truth, there are other ways to conduct beneficial research other than abusing the remains of pre-born babies.”

In the meantime, Operation Rescue continues to call for criminal prosecutions of Planned Parenthood officials engaged in the trafficking of aborted baby remains for profit.

The Center for Medical Progress plans to release additional videos in the coming days and weeks.

Arkansas Democrat switches to GOP because of Planned Parenthood

As the truth about Planned Parenthood is revealed to those who believed it was simply a women’s healthcare organization, people are turning away, disassociating themselves with a baby parts trafficking business which even harvests organs from born alive infants. Today, Arkansas State Representative Mike Holcomb joined the list of defectors by leaving the Democratic Party and joining the Republican Party.

Holcomb, from Pine Bluff, a two-term legislator, said:

I’ve chosen to join the Republican Party because I firmly believe that the conservative values they represent best align with my own personal beliefs and convictions.

I believe in the sanctity of life. I believe in traditional marriage. I believe in helping Arkansans.

He noted in his remarks that the recent Democratic Party of Arkansas’ stance regarding Planned Parenthood and the state of Arkansas’ previous funding, which Gov. Asa Hutchinson called to end, was cited as a major reason for Holcomb’s switch.

Arkansas Governor, Asa Hutchinson, who recently defunded Planned Parenthood as part of the growing list of states that are distancing themselves from financially participating with the abortion giant, was at the press conference Thursday where Holcomb announced the switch and said that it’s not possible for Arkansas Democrats, who may think themselves more conservative, to separate themselves from the national Democratic party on issues such as abortion.

Of course, Arkansas Democrats weren’t happy. Democratic Party of Arkansas chairman Vince Insalaco issued a statement that shows the continued ignorance of what Planned Parenthood is all about when he pulled the “health care” card from the worn deck:

If standing against women’s health care including Pap smears, breast cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, prenatal checkups, or the equality of all Arkansans is important to Rep. Holcomb, then he’s found a good home in the Republican Party of Arkansas.

Of course Insalaco proves he doesn’t know about the programs he supports, since every service Planned Parenthood offers – apart from abortion – is available at low or no cost clinics nationwide, including in his own state. Reducing Holcomb’s switch to some narrow-minded decision to steal health care from women is not a surprising attack, but it’s also not a true one.

Holcomb has done what those with a conscience must do when seeing the truth behind the pink Planned Parenthood shingle: run. Holcomb, who serves District 10, has “spent 28 years in public education and is a past Jefferson County judge. He is vice chairman of the House Committee on Public Transportation.”

It’s becoming apparent that Holcomb will be just one of the first to leave the party that is supporting bloodshed, fetal parts harvesting and now, as we have seen, infanticide.

4,500 Babies Saved From Abortions After Texas De-Funds Planned Parenthood

New Texas abortion figures are out today and they confirm that de-funding the Planned Parenthood abortion business has real results. Almost 4,500 unborn babies were saved from abortions as the new Texas abortion figures show a decline in abortions from 68,298 in 2012 to 63,849 abortions in 2013, the last year for which data is available.

Americans nationwide have called for de-funding Planned Parenthood after the massive scandal at Planned Parenthood, where its staff and officials have been caught selling aborted babies and their body parts.

In July, 2011, pro-life Texas Governor Rick Perry signed SB 7, a health care measure containing language that would revoke the taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The measure de-funded Planned Parenthood of $34 million or more.

Texas Right to Life strongly supported the Planned Parenthood de-funding effort and worked to close a loophole in SB 7 that would have required Texas taxpayers to fund the abortion of unborn children who suffer fetal abnormalities or who suffer from conditions “incompatible with life.” “The most evil, filthy organization in America, Planned Parenthood, might actually have to close,” says Jim Graham, director of the group. “State and federal dollars should go to health care providers who do not provide or refer for abortion,” he said. “While the amount of funds allocated to family planning has steadily increased over the years, 81,851 women in Texas still chose abortion in 2008, the last year for which data is available. Our tax dollars should not go to the abortion industry under the guise of family planning.”

Since de-funding, abortions in Texas have dropped by almost 20,000.

The Texas state health department released a new report with the latest abortion figures and they show most abortions were done on unborn babies of women who live in Texas while the rest were done on babies of women who reside outside the state. Most women who aborted their babies in Texas in the last year were between the ages of 18-40 but two 11-year-old girls had abortions as did 64 girls aged 12-13, and 487 girls between the ages of 14-15. That means hundreds of girls who are victimized by statutory rape became pregnant and got abortions in Texas.

That leads to the question of whether or not Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics are properly reporting those statutory rapes to authorizes. The Planned Parenthood abortion business has a history of concealing statutory rape and failing to report it at all or dragging its feet and filing reports well after the rape and abortion, leading to the repeat victimization of the young girls.

Some 280 babies were aborted who were 20 weeks of age or older and half of all abortions in Texas were repeat abortions.

donald-trump2 Donald Trump has catapulted to the lead in the race for the Republican presidential nomination by focusing on two popular issues:

Proposing the building of a wall along the Mexican border to stem the overwhelming influx of illegal immigration,
Attacking the Stalinesque doctrine of “political correctness” that increasingly inhibits freedom of expression in the U.S.

His approach has been very effective so far. But it’s time for Trump to open up a new offensive front.

If I had his ear, as I have once or twice in the past, I would advise Trump to say, as the future president, he would refuse to raise the debt limit to force Washington to live within its means like every American family and business is forced to do. He should say that $18 trillion is too much, and that continued borrowing by the federal government is completely unsustainable. The only way to dig out of this hole is to stop borrowing, and, as president, he will not request or approve any future hike in the debt limit.
He should also allay fears on Wall Street that such an action will result in a default by ensuring that Washington, under his leadership, will continue to service the existing debt.
And, lastly, he should characterize this action as a great opportunity to return to constitutionally limited government by cutting government spending and programs that never should have been started in the first place.

In 2008, I gave this same advice to a Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. He used it in a debate and established himself as a frontrunner until questions about his personal life forced him to retire from the race. Imagine, however, the power of Donald Trump’s voice on this critical issue in 2015. He is already the unchallenged frontrunner in the GOP race. His every utterance grabs the attention of the media. And, this proposal is radical. It is as anti-establishment as his positions on illegal immigration and political correctness. I dare say that this third major pillar in his campaign to “Make America Great, Again” would make him next to unbeatable.

I’ve been working on this anti-debt campaign since 2011, shortly after the Republicans swept into power in the House of Representatives. I called it the “No More Red Ink Campaign.” It has generated more than 1 million letters to Republican lawmakers in Washington so far. I pointed out that Republican approval was essential to Barack Obama’s plans to continue borrowing and spending without restraint. All Republicans in Congress had to do – even in just one of the two houses they control – was to say no to more borrowing. Instead, they have provided Obama all of the resources he needed to launch Obamacare, fund Planned Parenthood, grow anti-business regulatory departments like the Environmental Protection Agency, push Common Core through the Department of Education and so on.

Donald Trump, with the power of his platform, could make this issue a focus of national attention, propelling his candidacy forward with a new offensive front that would leave his competitors staggering. And, the neat thing about it? It’s the right thing to do. It makes perfect sense. It’s like a magic bullet politically. It solves the seemingly unsolvable problem of runaway growth of government, which inevitably brings with it restrictions in personal freedom and subjugates the legitimate powers of the states to Washington.

I am persuaded that, if framed properly, this issue would make the Trump campaign unstoppable. He would not only increase his support among Republican voters but win over many disillusioned Democrats the way Ronald Reagan did in 1980 and 1984.

Trump has been successful to date in this campaign because he has been bold. This is no time for him to stop. It’s time for him to expand his base by claiming the high moral ground on other big issues.

Like it or not, America’s spiraling, out-of-control debt is not only an issue the next president will have to deal with, it also represents a great opportunity for leadership in restoring the country’s heritage of constitutionally limited government. And it’s something the president can do singlehandedly – forcing Congress to make deep cuts in overspending, over-regulation and social engineering.

Court Removes Injunction on Planned Parenthood Video, New Video Immediately Released

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joanne O’Donnell ruled on Friday afternoon the Center for Medical Progress has First Amendment rights to release videos it covertly took of StemExpress executives talking about buying aborted baby tissue from Planed Parenthood. Almost immediately afterwards, CMP released a new video that among other thing showed the StemExpress CEO joking about receiving dead babies from Planned Parenthood (over lunch).

This latest video is only two minutes long and is more of a trailer of things to come. Most of its content was made up of bits and pieces of previous videos. The one new section featured Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress in a lunch meeting with undercover operatives posing as representatives of a biotech firm. Dyer is seen laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. As she paid the check, Dyer appears to be laughing about how lab recipients of the aborted babies go into shock when they open a box to find an “intact case” (whole body):

“Oh, yeah, if you have intact cases, which we’ve done a lot, we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety.”

“Tell the lab it’s coming; they’ll open the box and go, ‘Oh, my God!”

CMP explains the terminology used by those in its videos to describe an entire aborted body:

StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer admits that StemExpress gets intact fetuses from the abortion clinics they work with shipped to their laboratory. “Case” is the clinical term for an individual abortion (cross reference with Planned Parenthood Senior Director of Medical Services Dr. Deborah Nucatola’s discussion of “this case, that case” in lunch video), so an “intact case” means an “intact abortion.”

Once the CMP videos began to be released, StemExpress realized a lunch they had back in May was probably an undercover sting, so they sued to preemptively block those videos from being seen. The Center for Medical Progress isn’t off the hook yet because the judge said that, even though they couldn’t’ be prevented from releasing the video, it was likely that StemExpress would prevail in its lawsuit claiming its privacy was violated.

Earlier this week StemExpess announced it was cutting all ties with Planned Parenthood, but denied that it had done anything wrong.

The newly-released video is below, but expect more to come next week.

Congress Sends Letter Requesting These Seven Things From Planned Parenthood — Make Note of Last One

The House Oversight Committee on Friday penned a letter to Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards requesting seven documents or pieces of information be handed over by next week.

The letter, authored by Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), noted the series of recent undercover sting videos that purport to show the abortion provider engaging in the sale of aborted fetal parts.

“Recently released videos implicate Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its affiliates in potentially unlawful transactions involving fetal tissue,” the letter said. “In the videos, Planned Parenthood representatives discuss the demand for certain body parts, the manner in which patient consent is solicited, pricing considerations, and the methods by which doctors manipulate procedures to ensure that tissues remain intact.”

It added, “The disturbing content of these videos raises questions as to whether federal funds are being used to finance the potentially illegal conduct described therein.”

The committee requested Richards provide seven items to Congress by August 28. Most of the requested information pertains to Planned Parenthood’s use of federal funding. Item five requested that the abortion-provider provide a list of the 50 highest-paid employees. Item six requested a list of the “independently incorporated affiliates” that the organization supports, in addition to contact information. The last requested piece of information requires Planned Parenthood to note “what procedures, services, or other medical treatments are available only or exclusively at a Planned Parenthood affiliate or health center that are covered by either a state’s Medicaid program or a health plan sold via a state exchange or HealthCare.gov under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.” .. “Do not include services or procedures that could otherwise be provided by a private health care provider,” the letter added.

The House Oversight Committee also sent a similar letter to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Matthews Burewell. “According to its 2013-14 Annual Report, Planned Parenthood received more than $500 million in government funding in the last fiscal last year alone, accounting for more than 40 percent of the organization’s total revenue,” it said. “The Department of Health and Human Services provided a significant portion of the federal funds that Planned Parenthood received. It is not clear whether Planned Parenthood used any federal funds to support transactions involving fetal tissue.”

The letter requested information about which agencies within HHS provide funding or support to Planned Parenthood, the total amount of federal funding given to the abortion-provider since 2010, which restrictions are used when applying the funding and a list of services exclusively offered at Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood sets up abortion clinics in black neighborhoods to “control that population,” GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson said Wednesday. “I know who [Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger is,” Carson said on Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto.” “I know that she believed in eugenics and that she was not particularly enamored with black people.”

Sanger’s writings indicated that she viewed some races as inferior, though she worked with African-Americans in her projects.

“Look and see what many people in Nazi Germany thought of her,” Carson said.

Cavuto asked Carson about his views on defunding Planned Parenthood in the light of a recent series of videos showing abortion doctors discussing the sale of fetal tissue.

Carson said he is willing to have a discussion about when life begins.

“Certainly once the heart starts beating. Certainly at that point,” he said. “If we are willing to open up the discussion, both sides, I think we can come to accommodation.”

Margaret Higgins Sanger (born Margaret Louise Higgins, September 14, 1879 – September 6, 1966) was an American birth control activist, sex educator, writer, and nurse. Sanger popularized the term “birth control”, opened the first birth control clinic in the United States, and established organizations that evolved into the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Sexuality

While researching information on contraception Sanger read various treatises on sexuality in order to find information about birth control. She read The Psychology of Sex by the English psychologist Havelock Ellis and was heavily influenced by it.[77] While traveling in Europe in 1914, Sanger met Ellis.[78] Influenced by Ellis, Sanger adopted his view of sexuality as a powerful, liberating force.[79] This view provided another argument in favor of birth control, as it would enable women to fully enjoy sexual relations without the fear of an unwanted pregnancy.[80] Sanger also believed that sexuality, along with birth control, should be discussed with more candor.[79]

However, Sanger was opposed to excessive sexual indulgence. She stated “every normal man and woman has the power to control and direct his sexual impulse. Men and women who have it in control and constantly use their brain cells thinking deeply, are never sensual.”[81][82] Sanger said that birth control would elevate women away from a position of being an object of lust and elevate sex away from purely being for satisfying lust, saying that birth control “denies that sex should be reduced to the position of sensual lust, or that woman should permit herself to be the instrument of its satisfaction.”[83] Sanger wrote that masturbation was dangerous. She stated: “In my personal experience as a trained nurse while attending persons afflicted with various and often revolting diseases, no matter what their ailments, I never found any one so repulsive as the chronic masturbator. It would not be difficult to fill page upon page of heart-rending confessions made by young girls, whose lives were blighted by this pernicious habit, always begun so innocently.”[84] She believed that women had the ability to control their sexual impulses, and should utilize that control to avoid sex outside of relationships marked by “confidence and respect.” She believed that exercising such control would lead to the “strongest and most sacred passion.”[85] However, Sanger was not opposed to homosexuality and praised Ellis for clarifying “the question of homosexuals… making the thing a—not exactly a perverted thing, but a thing that a person is born with different kinds of eyes, different kinds of structures and so forth… that he didn’t make all homosexuals perverts—and I thought he helped clarify that to the medical profession and to the scientists of the world as perhaps one of the first ones to do that.”[86] Sanger believed sex should be discussed with more candor, and praised Ellis for his efforts in this direction. She also blamed the suppression of discussion about it on Christianity.[86]

Abortion

Sanger advocated the use of contraception for family planning as a safe alternative to abortion.[87][88][89][16] As a nurse she was alarmed by the cases of death that resulted from botched abortions.[90][91] She was eager to separate the issue of birth control from the less acceptable and higher risk procedure of abortion.[87][92] While she did accept abortion “as a last resort”[87][93] she generally distanced herself from the practice as it was then performed.[92]

Eugenics

Originally Sanger based the advocacy of birth control on feminist ideals. After World War I, Sanger increasingly appealed to the societal need to limit births by those least able to afford children. The affluent and educated already limited their child-bearing while the poor and ignorant lacked access to contraception and information about birth-control.[94] Here she found an area of overlap with eugenicists.[94] She believed that they both sought to “assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit.” They differed in that “eugenists imply or insist that a woman’s first duty is to the state; we contend that her duty to herself is her duty to the state.”[95] Sanger was a proponent of negative eugenics, which aims to improve human hereditary traits through social intervention by reducing the reproduction of those who were considered unfit.[96][97]

In “The Morality of Birth Control,” a 1921 speech, she divided society into three groups: the “educated and informed” class that regulated the size of their families, the “intelligent and responsible” who desired to control their families however did not have the means or the knowledge and the “irresponsible and reckless people” whose religious scruples “prevent their exercising control over their numbers.” Sanger concludes “there is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped.”[98]

Sanger’s eugenic policies included an exclusionary immigration policy, free access to birth control methods and full family planning autonomy for the able-minded, and compulsory segregation or sterilization for the “profoundly retarded”.[99][100] In her book The Pivot of Civilization, she advocated coercion to prevent the “undeniably feeble-minded” from procreating.[101]

Although Sanger supported negative eugenics, she asserted that eugenics alone was not sufficient, and that birth control was essential to achieve her goals.[102][103][104]

In contrast with eugenicist William Robinson, who advocated euthanasia for the unfit,[note 8] Sanger wrote, “we [do not] believe that the community could or should send to the lethal chamber the defective progeny resulting from irresponsible and unintelligent breeding.”[105] Similarly, Sanger denounced the aggressive and lethal Nazi eugenics program.[100] In addition, Sanger believed the responsibility for birth control should remain in the hands of able-minded individual parents rather than the state, and that self-determining motherhood was the only unshakable foundation for racial betterment.[102][106]

Sanger also supported restrictive immigration policies. In “A Plan for Peace”, a 1932 essay, she proposed a congressional department to address population problems. She also recommended that immigration exclude those “whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race,” and that sterilization and segregation be applied to those with incurable, hereditary disabilities.[99][100][107]

Sanger’s writings echoed her ideas about inferiority and loose morals of particular races. In one “What Every Girl Should Know” commentary, she references popular opinion that Aboriginal Australians, to her “the lowest known species of the human family, just a step higher than the chimpanzee in brain development,” possessed “so little sexual control that police authority alone prevents him from obtaining sexual satisfaction on the streets,” as compared to the “normal man and Woman.” who were able to exercise control over their desires.[81] Elsewhere she bemoaned that traditional sexual ethics “… have in the past revealed their woeful inability to prevent the sexual and racial chaos into which the world has today drifted.”[106]

Such attitudes did not keep her from collaborating with African-American leaders and professionals who saw a need for birth control in their communities. In 1929, James H. Hubert, a black social worker and leader of New York’s Urban League, asked Sanger to open a clinic in Harlem.[109] Sanger secured funding from the Julius Rosenwald Fund and opened the clinic, staffed with black doctors, in 1930. The clinic was directed by a 15-member advisory board consisting of black doctors, nurses, clergy, journalists, and social workers. The clinic was publicized in the African-American press and in black churches, and it received the approval of W. E. B. Du Bois, founder of the NAACP.[110] Sanger did not tolerate bigotry among her staff, nor would she tolerate any refusal to work within interracial projects.[111] Sanger’s work with minorities earned praise from Martin Luther King, Jr., in his 1966 acceptance speech for the Margaret Sanger award.[112]

From 1939 to 1942 Sanger was an honorary delegate of the Birth Control Federation of America, which included a supervisory role—alongside Mary Lasker and Clarence Gamble—in the Negro Project, an effort to deliver birth control to poor black people.[113] Sanger wanted the Negro Project to include black ministers in leadership roles, but other supervisors did not. To emphasize the benefits of involving black community leaders, she wrote to Gamble “we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” While New York University’s Margaret Sanger Papers Project, argues that in writing that letter, “Sanger recognized that elements within the black community might mistakenly associate the Negro Project with racist sterilization campaigns in the Jim Crow South;”[114] Angela Davis uses the quote to support claims that Sanger intended to exterminate the black population.[115]

Freedom of speech

Sanger opposed censorship throughout her career. Sanger grew up in a home where orator Robert Ingersoll was admired.[116] During the early years of her activism, Sanger viewed birth control primarily as a free-speech issue, rather than as a feminist issue, and when she started publishing The Woman Rebel in 1914, she did so with the express goal of provoking a legal challenge to the Comstock laws banning dissemination of information about contraception.[23] In New York, Emma Goldman introduced Sanger to members of the Free Speech League, such as Edward Bliss Foote and Theodore Schroeder, and subsequently the League provided funding and advice to help Sanger with legal battles.[117]

Over the course of her career, Sanger was arrested at least eight times for expressing her views during an era in which speaking publicly about contraception was illegal.[118] Numerous times in her career, local government officials prevented Sanger from speaking by shuttering a facility or threatening her hosts.[119] In Boston in 1929, city officials under the leadership of James Curley threatened to arrest her if she spoke. In response she stood on stage, silent, with a gag over her mouth, while her speech was read by Arthur M. Schlesinger, Sr.[120]

BREAKING: New video: Planned Parenthood would ‘steal’ aborted baby parts without mom’s consent

FRESNO, CA, August 12, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – Despite official denials, Planned Parenthood would regularly “steal” aborted babies’ organs without asking the mother’s consent for the “donation,” a former StemExpress employee says in the latest video released by the Center for Medical Progress.

Holly O’Donnell, a former blood and tissue procurement technician for StemExpress, is featured in the latest video in CMP’s “Human Capital” series. StemExpress is a biotech company that would purchase the tissue and organs of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood.

Since the video series broke, Planned Parenthood officials have said that they always obtain the mother’s consent – a legal requirement – before charging biotech companies “reimbursement costs” for storing the “organ and tissue donation.” But O’Donnell, a former technician who worked inside the Stockton and Fresno Planned Parenthood facilities, said if Planned Parenthood stood to make money, they would simply take the specimens they wanted. “No, doesn’t happen all the time,” O’Donnell said. “They would not consent the donors” in every case. “They give you a sheet, and it’s everybody for that day, who’s coming in for an ultrasound, who’s coming in for an abortion, medical or a late-term abortion,” O’Donnell explains.

Even patients who scheduled a pregnancy test were considered potential “donors,” she said. “Pregnancy tests are potential pregnancies, [and] therefore potential specimens.” Her bosses looked at this as “just taking advantage of the opportunities.”

They often told her obtaining aborted babies’ tissue and body parts is “not an option; it’s a demand.” “If there was a higher gestation, and the technicians needed it, there were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”

In one case, O’Donnell said she spoke with a patient who refused to consent – but her co-worker emerged with numerous samples after the patient’s abortion. “What did you say to her to get that blood?” O’Donnell asked her co-worker. “She said, ‘Nothing.'” “Basically, you just went in there and took her blood, and you’re going to be taking her fetus without her knowing,” O’Donnell said.

She said she felt tremendous empathy for the mothers who lost children in this way. “Imagine if you’re an abortion patient, and someone was going in stealing your baby’s parts,” she said in the video, the sixth released by CMP following its 30-month investigation.

She disputed Planned Parenthood’s image as a compassionate health care provider, embodied in their slogan: “Care No Matter What.” “The women I worked for were cold. They don’t care. They just wanted their money. They don’t care that a girl’s throwing up in a trash can,” O’Donnell said in the video.

“I’m not going to tell a girl to kill her baby so I can get money, and that’s what this company does,” she said. “I would tell them, ‘Run.'”

O’Donnell also revealed other abuses inside the Planned Parenthood facility. She said she was the only certified technician, but other StemExpress employees drew blood samples inside the facility.

The abortionist at the facility, Dr. Ron Berman, “had a reputation for going viciously fast…It’s almost like he wanted to do it.” The atmosphere inside the abortion facilities frightened her, she said. “It’s morbid,” she said. “You can hear screaming. You can hear crying…It’s terrifying.”

“Experiences like Holly O’Donnell’s show that Planned Parenthood’s abortion and baby parts business is not a safe place where vulnerable women can be cared for, but a harvesting ground for saleable human ‘product,’” said CMP’s Project Lead David Daleiden. “Taxpayer subsidies to Planned Parenthood’s barbaric abortion business should be revoked immediately, and law enforcement and other elected officials must act decisively to determine the full extent of Planned Parenthood’s offensive practices and hold them accountable to the law.”

‘Equality Act’: Gaystapo’s latest attack

The “gay lobby” has tried it before. But now that marriage is officially a grand social experiment in our nation, homosexual activists have moved on, updating and re-launching the next weapon of revolution. And it’s a whopper, one that potentially unites homosexual advocates with defenders of Planned Parenthood.

Their enemy? Christians, conservatives and all who are pro-life and pro-family.

The unjust and unequal “Equality Act” was introduced in Congress as H.R. 3185 and S. 1858 just before summer recess. This legislation jumps way beyond any previous anti-discrimination bill and would essentially wipe out free speech and religious liberty on the issues of homosexuality and gender change by declaring these behaviors to be civil rights in America.

Religious freedom restoration acts are declared to be powerless under this bill. Other religious exemptions are very weak and sure to be challenged as the gaystapo deploys armies of lawyers to undermine the Constitution. The 14th Amendment “equal protection” clause can justify investigations by the attorney general of suspected violations.

But the picture gets worse. This bill adds not just “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” to civil rights law, but the category of “sex.” The bill says:

“Discrimination can occur on the basis of the sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition of an individual, as well as because of sex-based stereotypes. Each of these factors alone can serve as the basis for discrimination, and each is a form of sex discrimination.”

Do you see where this is going? This language seems to allow claims of discrimination against a multitude of pro-life efforts. Crisis pregnancy centers may be sued to change the services offered or the messages conveyed.

The “Equality Act” may be deployed in lawsuits to overturn laws restricting abortion. Prospective clinic patients may claim discrimination on the basis of sex if Planned Parenthood is defunded.

The House bill has 168 co-sponsors as I write this, with 39 in the Senate. All so far are Democrats and independents. Microsoft, Apple, Google and other companies have pledged support for this anti-Christian, anti-American bill, so Republicans may start taking heat from Wall Street to back this unconstitutional power grab.

This measure covers not just employment, but housing, public accommodations and education. Those local “bathroom” bills in Houston and in schools like Gloucester County, Virginia, along with local controversies about school homosexual clubs would be instantly resolved to affirm sexual deviancy, because all bathrooms, locker rooms and “sex-segregated facilities” must be open to anyone based on “gender identity.”

And the Equality Act would open the door to proudly gender-bending people in our armed forces.

We must ask every presidential candidate: “As president, will you pledge to veto the anti-family ‘Equality Act’?” Yes, GOP majorities occupy both chambers, but that is little comfort, seeing how easily a “conservative” like Gov. Mike Pence in Indiana caved on religious freedom under corporate pressure.

This version may die at the end of the 114th Congress, but it won’t go away. The Human Rights Campaign, the pro-abortion lobby and leftist politicians will bring it back in the 115th, so we need to know where GOP candidates stand.

If you support life, you cannot support this bill.

If you support natural marriage, you cannot support this bill.

If you support de-funding Planned Parenthood, you cannot support this bill.

If you support religious liberty – or say you do – you cannot support the “Equality Act.”

It kills religious liberty. And an amendment won’t fix it, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman. Offering a stronger religious exemption may be among his plans as he considers support for S. 1858.

Right away, I see problems for Chris Christie, a consistent supporter of “gay rights” in New Jersey. He signed a ban on “conversion therapy” for minors and even called for an investigation of teacher Viki Knox, fired for her biblically based sexuality views. Jeb Bush and John Kasich both have outspoken pro-homosexual advisers in key slots in their campaigns.

The sexual anarchy lobby has a talking point ready for their denial of religious freedom. “Being Christian doesn’t give you the right to discriminate!” A homosexual advocate just sent me a piece from the Detroit News with this headline, in fact. Those who are well-informed will immediately recognize the rhetorical trickery being used.

“LGBT” pressure groups do not dictate Christian doctrine, first of all. Our Almighty God has already done that. And they define “discrimination” as any opinion they don’t like, even if the view is based on reality. Homosexuality is not inborn – it’s not like race – and the behavior is harmful to individuals and societies. These identities and attractions do not characterize separate types of “persons” (as the Obergefell majority ruling incorrectly assumed). So they are not defensible under the 14th Amendment.

As I wrote in a column a few months ago, the left is moving toward the position of telling us what to believe. Christianity is now a target to be obliterated or revised with homosexuality no longer a sin, humans no longer distinctly male and female, abortion a “right” for females and believers painted into a narrow doctrinal corner if we let them do this.

We must not let them do this. This bill should be Priority No. 1 to defeat this year, next year and as long as it takes. Everyone needs to make it clear to congressional representatives that this fascist attempt to dismantle the First Amendment, to defy parental authority and to drive Christians out of jobs simply cannot happen.

The authority to silence believers that the “Equality Act” would provide Christ’s enemies would leap beyond homosexuality and gender confusion. It’s tyranny, and only we the people rising up and saying NO will stop this. The so-called “Equality Act” is not about equality – we already have that. It’s about calling evil good, calling sin a right, and about punishing and silencing the voices of morality and faith.

Former PP Director: I Profited By Convincing Women To Donate Aborted Babies

Abby Johnson quit her job as a Texas Planned Parenthood clinic director in 2009 after witnessing an ultrasound abortion. This is how she and her co-workers would convince women to donate their aborted babies for research, and, she says, profit from their consent. “We never discussed, [researchers] may want just a leg, or an arm, or these specific organs,” Johnson told The Daily Signal in an interview published Monday. “That would create a sense of humanity in their unborn child. And really, we would even shy away from calling it fetal tissue research because just calling it tissue sanitizes it — the women don’t necessarily think about the body of their baby, they’re just thinking about blood and tissue.”

She and her co-workers received a bonus of between $5 and $20 for every woman they personally convinced to donate to the clinic, depending on the value of that particular unborn baby. Once the woman agreed to have an abortion and signed the paperwork, clinic staff would bring up a “research opportunity.” “It creates coercive tactics,” Johnson told The Daily Signal. “We would tell the client that we are participating in a study and she has an opportunity today to donate the tissue that’s removed from her uterus to a research laboratory where they will be working on life-saving treatments for various diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other types of medical studies,” she added. “We would tell her this is an opportunity for her to possibly save the life of someone else by donating this tissue. By creating this altruistic scenario, women would almost always consent and say, ‘Yes, absolutely.’”

Johnson worked in the Texas mega-clinic featured in the latest undercover video released by The Center for Medical Progress. The group is alleging Planned Parenthood is selling aborted baby parts for profit.

Planned Parenthood denies the allegations, saying the clinics are receiving legal compensation for the cost of procuring the tissue.

The Poll Numbers on the Planned Parenthood Scandal CNN Left Out

Regardless of one’s point of view on an issue, you can usually find a poll that shows that a majority of people agree with you. I’d suggest that is exactly what we saw happen on CNN Wednesday, when anchor Alisyn Camerota interviewed Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., about the debate surrounding Planned Parenthood.

A May 2015 Gallup poll asked, “Should abortion be legal?” Here’s how the numbers broke down:
Twenty-nine percent said abortion should be legal under any circumstances.
Fifty-one percent said abortion should be legal only under certain circumstances.
Nineteen percent said abortion should be illegal in all circumstances.

Here’s what Camerota said:

“That’s 80 percent of respondents who believe abortion should be kept legal.” (She added together the 29 percent who said abortion should be legal in any circumstance and 51 percent who said it should be allowed only in certain circumstances.)

Here’s what Camerota could have said:

“That’s 70 percent of Americans who believe there should be limits on abortion.” (Adding together the 51 percent who said it should be legal only in certain circumstances and the 19 percent who said it should not be legal under any circumstances.)

Those who identify as pro-choice are more inclined to report the poll the way CNN did, and those who identify as pro-life are likely to use the latter number—the point being, in this particular poll and many others, you can “interpret the data” to get the spin you want.

I also found interesting that while CNN chose to show questions from a Monmouth University Poll showing that a majority of respondents favored the use of fetal tissue for research and that 49 percent opposed cutting off federal funds to Planned Parenthood, they conveniently left out the response to this question: “Have you seen or heard recent news about videos that supposedly show Planned Parenthood employees discussing the sale of aborted fetus tissue, or not?”

Here were the responses:

Only 27 percent said they had heard a lot.
Only 21 percent said they had heard a little.
But 53 percent of respondents said they had not heard about the story at all.

I wonder how different the other answers in the poll about fetal tissue research and defunding Planned Parenthood would have been if the 74 percent of people who had heard or seen little to nothing had indeed seen the videos.

Of course, as the Media Research Center points out, the death of Cecil the lion has received more than four times the coverage in one week by the network news media than the five undercover videos released over the past three weeks showing Planned Parenthood committing potentially criminal acts.

CNN didn’t mention those numbers, either.

Today, the Center for Medical Progress released the full, uncut video of the undercover visit to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Houston, Texas, that was summarized in the a shorter video released earlier this week. That longer video contains new revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating “humanized” mice. The full video, which runs for five hours and forty-five minutes, expands on a conversation between Melissa Farrell, Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, and two CMP actors posing as representatives of an organ procurement company. That conversation focused on potential compensation to Planned Parenthood in exchange for fetal remains.

Farrell made it clear that Planned Parenthood had been involved in the selling of aborted baby parts for some time and was very familiar with the use of fetal remains in the production of humanized mice.

She discussed how the Houston affiliate for which she worked was “resistant” to recent efforts by Planned Parenthood Federation of America to standardize fetal tissue sales throughout the participating affiliates because “we’ve been doing our own thing for a long time.” Apparently, Farrell had the routine down pat.

She emphasized repeatedly that she creates a written line-item budget for compensation that effectively conceals the fact that the money received from fetal remains is actually a financial benefit to the company above and beyond hard costs. In addition, she noted that they are able to alter abortion procedures to make sure they have baby parts to sell. “And we have had studies in which the company, and or in this case, investigator, has a specific need for certain portions of the parts of conception and we base that into our contract and our protocol that we follow this, so we deviate from our standard in order to do that,” Farrell said, (emphasis added).

Yet Farrell acknowledged that it was illegal for them to alter the timing or manner of the procedure for the purpose of ensuring organs were fit for use by researchers.

In the lengthy video, Farrell is seen looking over her e-mail when she finds a message from an immune-biology laboratory that was requesting fetal tissue to create humanized mice. The full conversation can be reviewed beginning at the 4:27:45 time marker on the full video.

Part of the conversation was included in the CMP summary video published earlier in the week.

The purpose of the request was to obtain cadavers and fetal tissue to generate humanized mice for immune-deficiency experimentation and the development of pharmaceuticals.

One actor posing as a potential buyer asked, “So are they requesting just liver or liver, thymus? Liver, thymus, long bone?” “Everything! CNS, brain, kidney, thymus, liver, spleen, femur, bone marrow, hematopoietic stem cells, from 14-22 weeks gestation,” Farrell responds in a sing-song voice.

“They’re going to engraft all those? Or just the hematopoietic?” asked the actor.

“It doesn’t say,” Farrell says.

“Wow! They want everything!” said the actor. “See, so that’s the thing. For a study like that, if we could provide, you know, just the whole cadaver, then they can take exactly what they want with the full quality of – you know – and everything.”

“Exactly, Um-hum.” Farrell responded.

“That is actually going to be ideal for them,” the actor continued.

“Well, it would make me very happy for us to finish up what we need to and I can put you in touch with them,” Farrell laughs, later adding, “Oh, I was wrong! They want 120 samples.”

“A hundred and twenty? This is huge!” says the actor.

To illustrate exactly how big this request was, earlier in the conversation, the actors told Farrell that they were interested in obtaining liver-thymus pairs from the same donor, which would then be supplied to a laboratory that was hoping to create humanized mice. But the actors only hoped to harvest one sample per week, adding that five to six per week would be better.

What exactly are “humanized” mice?

Around the year 2000, a line of mice created through breeding and genetic alteration to suppress the immune response that prompts rejection of foreign tissue. This was around the time that Operation Rescue first discovered that scientists had begun experimenting with stem cells derived from aborted babies and began speaking out against it.

With the rodents’ immune systems suppressed, human fetal cells or tissue could be transplanted or grafted into the mice where it would grow.

For example, “hematopoietic” stem cells mentioned in the CMP video are cells related to the creation blood. Grafting these cells into mice would create blood that more closely resembled human blood. Then researchers could conduct experiments on these “humanized” mice and get results more reflective of how a human being’s blood would react.

Mice continue to be altered and bred to allow their tissues to take on more realistic human properties.

In the case of the immune-biology group discussed in the video, they were seeking a very large order of essentially 120 intact fetal cadavers from 14-22 weeks gestation. The bodies would then be dissected to extract the desired tissue, which would either be transplanted into mice and grown, or processed into cells that would be grafted or injected into mice.

“It is as if researchers have taken a page out of The Island of Doctor Moreau, the classic sci-fi story by H.G. Wells, where a mad scientist crossed the bounds of ethics and morality to create human-animal hybrids,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue, who also serves on the Board of the Center for Medical Progress. “The profit stream that extends from the Planned Parenthood abortion clinics, through the third party procurement companies, to the pharmaceutical and commercial laboratories is all generated at the expense of human babies. To Planned Parenthood, the only value in these human beings is in how much they can get for their broken remains. They are like butchers selling meat by the pound.”

For years Planned Parenthood has benefited financially from the illegal sale of aborted baby remains, which has created a lucrative additional revenue stream for the abortion giant.

It is clear from the full contents of the latest CMP video that Planned Parenthood is aware of the laws that regulate fetal tissue “donation” and have constructed an elaborate scheme to conceal and even justify their illegal activities.

Operation Rescue puts the blame for this illicit market in aborted baby remains squarely on the shoulders of greedy Planned Parenthood officials who are operating more like a cut-throat for-profit industry than a non-profit charity.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton testified before the a Texas legislative hearing on July 29, 2015, that his investigators visited the Houston Planned Parenthood’s tissue room and observed recognizable body parts from aborted babies being dumped into a red trash bag. He noted that this facility generates 260 pounds of fetal remains per week, every week.

It is difficult to even mentally process the enormity of that number and what it means in destroyed human lives.

“It is time to re-examine Planned Parenthood’s non-profit status. The way they look to squeeze every buck out of taxpayers, vulnerable women, and now even the broken bodies of defenseless babies, merits the revocation of their tax-exempt status along with their defunding at the state and federal levels,” said Newman. “But more than anything, criminal prosecutions of Planned Parenthood affiliates that have engaged in illegal activity in the selling of baby parts often obtained through the use of the banned partial birth abortion procedure are absolutely necessary. In order to bring an end to this horrific flesh-trafficking, Planned Parenthood must not be held above the law.”

Report: Fetal tissue supplier hired by federal health agencies

A company mentioned as a fetal tissue supplier in recent Planned Parenthood sting videos reportedly does business with two federal health agencies. According to a report in Politico, Advanced Bioscience Resources, a contracting research company, has made over $300,000 in transactions with the National Institutes of Health and Food and Drug Administration. Both agencies reportedly had contracts with the firm since 2009, and have paid money for materials in order to conduct various types of research, including HIV and eye disease studies.

Politico reports it’s unclear if the firm got any tissue from abortions at Planned Parenthood, though the company was mentioned in one of the recent videos released by an anti-abortion group. Those videos show Planned Parenthood officials discussing fetal tissue harvesting.

Officials reportedly said NIH has paid the ABR firm $257,000 since 2009 and $53,000 last year alone. The officials, however, didn’t explain how much of the money went toward fetal tissue and how much went to other supplies. The report added that some tissue came from 17- to 22-week-old fetuses. Multiple anti-abortion organizations want to prohibit most abortions after 20 weeks.

The FDA also paid the firm $73,000 in the same amount of time. Officials told Politico that much of that money was for certain liver and thymus tissue in order to test drug therapies.

The firm did not return Politico’s requests for comments.

Here is my reply;

FANTASTIC COMMENT and QUESTION. I did not see that about deliberately botching the abortion so they can sell an intact baby. I am going to share this with everyone.

The second comment was just as great. If I were a woman seeking an abortion, I think I would ask for a cut. I am very confident that some women are thinking just that.

What is your input on this? Can you see women asking for their “CUT” of the profits? How about women setting a price for their baby in order for Planned Parenthood to sell the parts? I know this sounds gruesome, but the depravity of our society is getting worse. Such disassociated thinking is already out there. It could be that it has already begun, and it is understandable that such transactions would be kept quiet.

An ambulance was rushed to a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Houston, Texas today after what appeared to be a botched abortion. Ironically, this is the very same abortion clinic exposed in a new shocking video released today that catches a Planned Parenthood official discussing how the abortion business sells “fully intact” aborted babies. Officials with the Houston Coalition for Life were outside the gates of the Planned Parenthood abortion center at the time the abortion business called for emergency personnel to come to the facility.

“Just hours after the latest video was released by the Center for Medical Progress exposing PPGC talking about its track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact fetuses, an ambulance arrived for what is most likely a botched abortion as the woman seen on the stretcher did have an IV in progress,” HCL executive director Christine Melchor told LifeNews.com.

“I’m sure, that as Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast scrambles to try and discredit the video and cover their tracks, that perhaps the abortionist and medical personnel were a bit jittery today,” she said.

The group posted a picture (above) of the fire truck outside the Planned Parenthood center that accompanied the ambulance. The Houston abortion center is part of the Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast affiliate caught in today’s expose video.

The video, which follows Senate Democrats defeating a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die.

Planned Parenthood could be breaking the federal law known as the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that requires abortion clinics, hospitals and other places that do abortions to provide appropriate medical care for a baby born alive after a failed abortion or purposefully birthed to “let die.” That would be one of the potential ways Planned Parenthood could produce a “fully intact” baby to sell to StemExpress for research. Most “crunchy” abortion methods would do damage to the baby’s body.

The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact aborted babies.

In the video, actors posing as representatives from a human biologics company meet with Farrell at the abortion-clinic headquarters of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston to discuss a potential partnership to harvest fetal organs.

Defund Planned Parenthood Bill Defeated in Senate

Despite the grisly revelations of the past few weeks, which caught Planned Parenthood employees negotiating the sale of fetal body parts as if they were goods and services, the Senate today voted to keep Planned Parenthood funding “intact” (here’s some context behind that word.)

The Democrats who voted against the measure are of course recycling an old argument:

Yet, as Katie explained this morning, the defund bill would not just halt funding for Planned Parenthood – it would redirect the money to other community clinics that offer important health services and don’t provide abortions.

Today’s outcome was expected. Sixty votes is a challenging threshold, especially with only 54 Republican senators. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) received justified criticism from the pro-life movement when he rejected the opportunity to include the legislation on last week’s highway funding bill as an amendment, which had a better chance of passing.

Despite the failed bill, there’s no doubt that the outrage against Planned Parenthood is growing and the vote was an important symbol in the fight to expose the abortion giant’s agenda. Americans are becoming increasingly aware that Planned Parenthood is not exactly the “women’s health” organization it claims to be and their representatives’ strange and unconvincing defenses are only further damaging their reputation.

Update: As least one brave Democrat voted to defund Planned Parenthood.

Update II: The pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List has released a statement following the vote, noting the positive pro-life trend in the Senate, despite the legislation’s abrupt halt.

“When the Senate last voted to defund Planned Parenthood, only 42 voted for it. Since that 2011 effort, things have only gotten worse for the nation’s largest abortion provider. The Center for Medical Progress has released less than half of its damning evidence of brutality and callousness at Planned Parenthood and, as more videos are made public, outrage will surely grow,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama told a group of young African leaders on Monday that killing others to harvest body parts was a “foolish tradition.”

At the Young African Leaders Initiative summit in Washington D.C., President Obama was asked about the killing of Albinos in Africa and the harvesting of their body parts for ritual purposes.

“Persons with Albinism in Africa are being killed and their body parts harvested for ritual purposes,” a woman in the audience said. “My request to you is to raise this issue with heads of state of African countries to bring these atrocities to an end.”

Obama condemned the practice as “foolish traditions.”

“When I was in Africa, I said, there are important traditions and folkways that need to be respected that’s part of who each culture is — each country is — but there’s also foolish traditions and old ways of doing business,” Obama said.

The president focused on the issue as one of discrimination. “The notion that any African would discriminate against somebody because of the color of their skin, after what black people around the world have gone through – is crazy.” “It is infuriating and I have no patience for it,” Obama continued.

As Sky News reported in February, some African witch doctors use Albino body parts in witchcraft rituals. In Tanazania, a one-year-old Albino boy was kidnapped and his arms and legs were hacked off; police suspect those body parts were used in witchcraft. At least 70 Albino people were killed in Tanzania in the last 10 years, reported the article, and the United Nations has condemned the paganistic practice, which reportedly is on the rise.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – New Jersey Governor Chris Christie indicates that he was appalled by the investigative project surrounding Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of body parts of unborn children, suggesting that a criminal investigation was certainly possible as a result of the video tapes that have been released so far. When asked about whether or not Planned Parenthood should be criminally prosecuted as a result of the investigation, Christie admitted as a former federal prosecutor that it was “certainly worthy of inquiry.”

“If I were a U.S. Attorney, would that be something worthy of inquiry? Sure,” he said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News in New Hampshire. “And then you see where the facts lead.”

He said that he didn’t know all the facts about the pro-abortion corporations’ practices.

Christie said that he had personally watched the first two video tapes released by the Center for Medical Progress, but admitted that he hadn’t yet seen the third video, which raised even more questions about the ethics of the pro-abortion corporation. He said that pro-life activists were right to be morally outraged by the material revealed in the videos.

“This is an awfully serious issue, they’re absolutely right,” he said. “The American people should be sickened by what’s being talked about on there, the harvesting of body parts, I just think it’s sickening. That’s a life.”

Christie has vetoed funds for Planned Parenthood six differrent times in six years in New Jersey, and vowed to do the same if elected president. “I just don’t think that the organization has any business getting federal money,” calling that decision an “easy call as president.”

Democrats, he pointed out, appeared afraid to discuss the tapes, because they couldn’t defend the activity that was exposed by the investigation.

“There’s no defense for it,” he said. “They don’t want to attack an organization that supports them so vehemently.”

The group behind the release of recent undercover videos which purport to show Planned Parenthood employees discussing the sale of aborted fetus parts issued a statement Wednesday after a court barred the release of some new footage. The Los Angeles Superior Court ruled Tuesday that the Center for Medical Progress is prohibited from releasing footage taken at a restaurant in May of high-ranking officials from StemExpress.

StemExpress is a group that provides human tissue to researchers and has a history of working with Planned Parenthood.

In a statement, the Center for Medical Progress blasted StemExpress and accused them of attempting to “suppress free speech.”

Here’s the full statement:

StemExpress, a for-profit company partnered with over 30 abortion clinics, including Planned Parenthood, to harvest and sell aborted baby parts and provide a “financial benefit” to Planned Parenthood clinics, is attempting to use meritless litigation to cover-up this illegal baby parts trade, suppress free speech, and silence the citizen press reporting on issues of burning concern to the American public. They are not succeeding—their initial petition was rejected by the court, and their second petition was eviscerated to a narrow and contingent order about an alleged recording pending CMP’s opportunity to respond. The Center for Medical Progress follows all applicable laws in the course of our investigative journalism work and will contest all attempts from Planned Parenthood and their allies to silence our First Amendment rights and suppress investigative journalism.

On Wednesday, David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress appeared on TheBlaze TV’s “Dana” and called for Planned Parenthood to disclose how much it has profited from its practice.

“We don’t have a good way of knowing because Planned Parenthood’s baby part sales are buried so deep down within their organization that some of the national leadership of Planned Parenthood doesn’t even fully know the scope of it,” he said. “The national office has for many years now chosen to have a ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ policy about the fetal tissue sales of the affiliates in order to … keep themselves insulated it from it legally, even though they’re still aware of it.”

The Senate is expected to vote next week on a motion aimed at defunding Planned Parenthood.

A regional branch of Planned Parenthood warned reporters in a new letter Monday against airing recent sting videos that purport to show the abortion provider’s employees discussing the sale of aborted fetus parts.

KVLY-TV in North Dakota published the letter from Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

“CMP has used footage obtained through deceit and unlawful behavior, including possible violations of state recording laws, federal tax laws and falsified state identification. Then, they concoct wildly false stories through selective editing,” the letter alleges.

“We expect this video will be no different in that regard; however, footage yet to come is expected to represent an extreme violation of patient privacy by including footage of post-abortion fetal tissue neither patients nor health care professionals authorized be filmed,” it adds.

The letter was sent one day before the Center for Medical Progress released a third video, appearing to show Planned Parenthood workers standing by dead fetuses while talking about the price “per item.” The letter concludes with a warning that “the material should not be aired.”

A representative for Planned Parenthood could not be reached for comment by TheBlaze.

When your network decides whether to consider this story newsworthy, or whether to use any of this footage at all, we urge you to keep this in mind: The extremists who entered Planned Parenthood labs under false pretenses violated research protocol, and, worse, violated the privacy of patients involved. Those patients’ privacy should not be further violated by having this footage shared by the media.

The storage and examination processes that CMP used to get this footage are medically necessary. It is necessary medical professionals ensure an abortion is complete so that patients do not get an infection. When tissue is donated for medical research, these steps are also necessary for the donations to be completed. It is also medically necessary that researchers evaluate the laboratory procedures of a medical provider for safety standards and best practices.

Some of the conversations and protocols that occur in medical settings and among professional peers can sound jarring when taken out of context. While this can be difficult to hear or watch, it should not be used as an excuse to defund Planned Parenthood.

CMP gained access to Planned Parenthood facilities under false pretenses and filmed without securing approval from the Planned Parenthood staff being filmed or the patients whose privacy is compromised by this secret videotaping. The material should not be aired.

An anti-abortion activist group released a video that they say proves Planned Parenthood “sells the body parts of aborted fetuses.”

Is it misleading?

Posing as a biological tissue procurement company, actors for the Center for Medical Progress secretly filmed a luncheon with Planned Parenthood’s senior director of Medical Services Dr. Deborah Nucatola in 2014. On July 14, 2015, the group released a nine-minute video that they say shows Nucatola talking about performing partial-birth abortions to keep body parts intact in order to “sell” them, an action which the video alleges is a felony.

Nearly every Republican presidential candidate has responded, condemning Planned Parenthood. And Congress, as well as the states of Texas and Louisiana, have called for investigations into the women’s reproductive health care organization.

Many, including Planned Parenthood, have said the video was heavily edited and is misleading. They say Nucatola was discussing a standard, legal procedure for providing fetal tissue for scientific research, for which clinics are often reimbursed for costs associated with procuring the tissue (as opposed to selling tissue for a profit).

Who’s right? We read the 60-page transcript of the nearly three-hour luncheon and found that Nucatola reveals very little concrete information on Planned Parenthood’s practices. Put simply, there’s no clear gotcha.

We’ll leave it up to readers to come to their own conclusions about Planned Parenthood’s practices and Nucatola’s statements, but we want to highlight a few key moments in the conversation to put the edited video in context.

It’s clear in the full-length video that Nucatola believes she is speaking with representatives from a company that provides scientific researchers with tissue from aborted fetuses (a legal process that raises difficult ethical questions). She describes the process of getting consent from patients, as well as how Planned Parenthood clinics typically interacts with the companies that take the tissue from the clinics to the researchers.

The edited video shows Nucatola discussing a per-specimen price range for tissue parts. But the full video shows that the cost under discussion is a reimbursement for the cost of preparing the specimens for transfer, not the value of the specimens themselves. She adds that Planned Parenthood needs to be able to explain exactly what the funds are used for.

Asked by the actors about a price range, Nucatola said:

“You know, I would throw a number out, I would say it’s probably anywhere from $30 to $100 (per specimen), depending on the facility and what’s involved. It just has to do with space issues, are you sending someone there who’s going to be doing everything, is there shipping involved, is somebody going to have to take it out? You know, I think everybody just wants, it’s really just about if anyone were ever to ask them, ‘What do you do for this $60? How can you justify that? Or are you basically just doing something completely egregious, that you should be doing for free.’ So it just needs to be justifiable.

“The way they budget (for the cost of producing a specimen) is by the amount of time they spend on one patient. … It depends, if (the procurement service is) expecting somebody to process, and package, identify tissue for you, it’s going to be at the higher end of the range. In all cases, it’s really going to be about staff time, because that’s the only cost to the affiliate. And then, if you want space.”

Nucatola also said Planned Parenthood affiliate clinics appreciate that they can reduce some of their overhead costs of disposing of aborted fetal tissue by using a tissue procurement service.

Nucatola said:

“I think for affiliates, at the end of the day, they’re a nonprofit, they just don’t want to — they want to break even. And if they can do a little better than break even, and do so in a way that seems reasonable, they’re happy to do that. Really their bottom line is, they want to break even. Every penny they save is just pennies they give to another patient. To provide a service the patient wouldn’t get.

“No one’s going to see this as a money-making thing. The other reason affiliates think this is a good thing is, it’s less tissue that they need to worry about, it’s taken care of. They have to do something with that tissue, it’s hard to find somebody that wants to do something with that tissue, so the fact that there’s somebody that’s looking for that tissue is — that is such a huge service to them.”

Nucatola says throughout the luncheon that Planned Parenthood is not interested in making a profit off the specimens — an interpretation the edited video pushes.

“(Clinics) want to do this, but they want to do it in a way that’s not going to impact them, and it’s much much less about money. You could call them up and say, ‘I’ll pay you double the money,’ and they’re almost more inclined to say no, because it’s going to look bad. … To them, this is not a service they should be making money from, it’s something they should be able to offer this to their patients, in a way that doesn’t impact them.

“Again, affiliates don’t — affiliates are not looking to make money by doing this. They’re looking to serve their patients and just make it not impact their bottom line.

“At the end of the day we just want to keep the doors open. And we don’t want to let jeopardize keeping the doors open. We just want (the cost per specimen) to be reasonable for the impact it has on the clinic. This is not a new revenue stream the affiliates are looking at. This is a way to offer the patient the service that they want. Do good for the medical community.

“Like I said, is to give patients the option without impacting our bottom line. The messaging is this should not be seen as a new revenue stream because that’s not what it is.”

The actors in the video act as if they are on the same page:

Actor: “I understand what you’re saying. This cannot be seen as, ‘We’re doing this for profit.’ ”

Nucatola: “No. Nothing, no affiliate should be doing anything that’s not like, reasonable and customary. This is not — nobody should be ‘selling’ tissue. That’s just not the goal here.”

Actor: “Right. And, I never see that as, I don’t look at it that way, we’re not selling tissue, we’re selling the possibility of what the research can offer.”

Nucatola: “I think we all would agree with you. That’s just not the perception, sadly, for everybody.”

Actor: “I mean, researchers are paying for procurement, they’re not paying for — You’re not buying a brain, you’re buying a procurement service.”

Nucatola: “Exactly. Exactly.”

The conversation indicates that at least some Planned Parenthood clinics do sell aborted fetal tissue. But Nucatola plainly argues that the money they’re charging is trying to offset the costs associated with tissue procurement — a legal service.

Guess Which Causes Detroit’s Satanic Event Will Benefit

A self-described Satanic group held the “largest public satanic ceremony in history” on Saturday in Detroit as it unveiled a statue of the devil to a crowd of some 700 people. The statue of Baphomet, the goat-headed version of Satan, shows the devil sitting on a throne looking all pagan and demonic as smiling children look on adoringly.

The group behind this 1-ton bronze monstrosity is The Satanic Temple. Organizers said the 9-foot-tall statue “is not only an unparalleled artistic triumph, but stands as a testament to plurality and the power of collective action.”

In other words, it’s a big honking finger in the eye of Christians, which is really what Satanism is all about.

The temple is fighting to get the hideous thing erected at the Arkansas State Capital next to a monument of the Ten Commandments.

What’s most interesting about this event isn’t the audacity of keeping the statue at a secret location in Detroit (I wonder how many major cities have statues of the devil kept at secret locations), and it’s not that 700 people are hate-filled, deluded or psychotic enough to have paid for tickets to this event. (The temple claims 200 registered members in Detroit.)

It’s not even the brazenness of The Satanic Temple’s ploy of positioning itself as a family-friendly cult. No, what I find most interesting are the political causes the temple proclaims support for on its own website. Leading among these are abortion (“reproductive rights”) and gay “marriage,” both of which have been in the news of late.

The temple also makes common cause with atheist groups when it says the statue’s unveiling “will serve as a call to arms from which we’ll kick off our largest fight to date in the name of individual rights to free exercise against self-serving theocrats,” meaning Christians.

The Satanic Temple has something else in common with groups like the Freedom From Religion Foundation in that they position themselves as outsiders from the religious mainstream who somehow still have religious rights that can be offended by Christians.

Gay “marriage” and abortion are also issues where critics have long noted an anti-Christian bent among proponents, so the Satanists’ interest is clear.

The anti-Christian movement in this country is broad and often well-disguised, being spread out over numerous institutions, groups and political issues. But the one thing they all have in common, from pro-abortionists to the outright Satanists, is a talent for lying.

Just take a look at Planned Parenthood and its massive PR counterattack in the past two weeks as two separate videos showed PP officials negotiating the sale of fetal tissue.

Every left-wing outlet in the mainstream media and the Internet has made a concerted effort to tell the public that Planned Parenthood is being harassed and the videos are faked, even though the doctors in the videos make themselves very clear and do not appear to be in any way coerced into talking to the actors posing as medical middlemen.

To the degree that videos are used regularly by people on the Left and the Right to embarrass political opponents these days, it’s remarkable how staunchly indignant the Planned Parenthood supporters are that anyone would tape their personnel speaking freely about the organization’s practices. And all the spin from the Left is intended to cast Planned Parenthood as angelic victims being picked on by the evil pro-lifers.

The campaign is working, as Planned Parenthood’s allies in the California and federal governments are investigating the maker of the videos, even though the videos clearly contain evidence of possible crimes by the abortion organization that by rights should be investigated.

Don’t even get me started on the homosexual rights movement or the “separation of church and state” crowd.

The Satanists planting a statue of the devil in Detroit is more than just an overt symptom of a long-festering disease in this country, it’s a crowning achievement.

Maybe The Satanic Temple’s support for gay “marriage,” abortion and church-state separation means the devil’s finally coming out of hiding.

I knew it was coming. I had already read that Planned Parenthood said they were afraid a video might yet be released that showed the actual “procurement” of unborn baby organs and tissues. Dumped unceremoniously and inhumanely onto a tray, a human being is being reassembled following dismemberment while technicians are snickering and giggling. Unmitigated evil. I had to shut the door to my office because the tears began to flow.

It’s been 15 years now. My wife was pregnant with our fourth child. Ultrasound showed it was to be our first son. Lemuel. This was the fourth go around for us so everything was (unfortunately) seemingly routine. We were halfway there at 20 weeks for a routine ob-gyn checkup. It was so routine I stayed at work while our oldest daughter accompanied my wife to the doctor.

It seems like it was around four or five in the afternoon and I got a call from the clinic. It wasn’t my wife. The nurse said I was needed. I knew it couldn’t be good. When I got there the nurse was waiting and waved me into the back. The entire mood in the clinic seemed somber. I saw my wife and daughter and both were weeping. The doctor couldn’t find a heartbeat. It had been fine and healthy on all the other visits. It was nowhere to be found on that day. Our firstborn son was gone.

C-section and I wasn’t allowed in) and this seemed no different. When at last our son was born the doctor was visibly shaking. He gingerly put Lemuel in a little blanket and laid him next to my wife.

Though he was gone it was such a privilege to actually see him for a little while. So small. Tiny. Perfect except for a heart that wouldn’t beat. We cherished those few moments and then said goodbye.

No, not to some hospital incinerator. The funeral home came. We had a graveside service a day or two later. A tiny casket was provided and our son was laid to rest in a special section of the cemetery called “Baby Land.”

I went home and I wrote to my son.

Today, when I saw that horrible, vulgar, but undeniable video I couldn’t help but contrast it to the broken hearts, the dignity, and the love that was so present 15 years ago. Here was a little baby that nobody cared for or about. Here, snickering and giggling. Fifteen years ago the room was drenched in reverence, awe, and sadness.

God, what have we become?

I said that I wrote to my son. Today, I want to share those words written to a boy named Lemuel on behalf of all those babies that weren’t afforded the dignity and reverence for their little bodies that was given to him. My son was wrapped in a little orange blanket and treated just like any other baby delivered at that women’s hospital. Maybe God will allow the words written for him to count in some way for all those who have been harvested and “procured” by those given over to evil.

California AG to review group behind Planned Parenthood videos

California Attorney General Kamala Harris announced Friday she plans to review two undercover videos released by anti-abortion activists aimed at discrediting Planned Parenthood’s procedures for providing fetal tissue to researchers to see if any law was broken in the filming. Harris made the announcement in a letter to four Democratic members of Congress who had requested the investigation, saying she’ll use her office’s authority to regulate charity organizations to see if the organization that made the videos violated registration or reporting requirements, or broke any other rules. “We will carefully review the allegations raised in your letter to determine whether there were any violations of California law,” Harris said in the letter to four members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

She said her office will look into “allegations that individuals impersonated corporate officials from a fake biologics company, resulting in the release of secretly filmed videos of Planned Parenthood physicians without their consent.” Harris, a Democrat, plans to run for the U.S. Senate in 2016. The videos show Dr. Mary Gatter, a Planned Parenthood medical director in Southern California, meeting with people posing as possible buyers of intact fetal specimens. The conversation is centered of the cost of the specimens.

David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress, the group that released the videos, contends it follows all applicable laws when making videos that he called investigative journalism. He said in a statement that Planned Parenthood is “trying to use the power of their political cronies to shut down free speech” and to “silence the freedom of the press.”

The videos have shined the spotlight on Planned Parenthood’s policies on aborted fetuses by three Republican-led congressional committees and three states. Federal law prohibits the commercial sale of fetal tissue, but it allows the not-for-profit donation of tissue if the women who underwent abortions give their consent. Planned Parenthood says the payments discussed in the videos pertain to reimbursement for the costs of procuring the tissue — which is legal.

Gatter says in the second video, which was released on Tuesday a week after the first, that “We’re not in it for the money,” while also discussing whether a payment of $100 per fetal specimen would be adequate.

Planned Parenthood spokesman Eric Ferrero said in a statement after the release of the second video that the organization behind the videos “is a group of extremists who have intimidated women and doctors for years in their agenda to ban abortion completely.”

Those included Coca-Cola, Xerox and Ford Motor Company.

Now, another company and a large nonprofit group are joining the list — saying they last donated to Planned Parenthood many years ago and no longer do so: American Express and the American Cancer Society.

Officials with both companies contacted the Daily Signal and told the publication about the cessation of donations to Planned Parenthood:

American Express: “American Express last contributed to two Planned Parenthood community projects more than fifteen years ago. One project provided services to teens such as computer workshops, job preparation, mentoring, recreation and counseling. The other supported adult volunteers working with at-risk adolescents in a local school district.”

The American Cancer Society: “The American Cancer Society does not fund grants to Planned Parenthood affiliates. We have previously funded a very limited number of cancer control grants to Planned Parenthood affiliates to implement cancer control programs, such as training clinic staff to screen patients for smoking, providing patients the benefits of quitting smoking, and referring patients to a toll-free smoking cessation helpline. These grants expired several years ago. The American Cancer Society does not fund—nor has it ever funded—abortion or contraceptive counseling.”

This latest development comes in the wake of two undercover videos that showed Planned Parenthood executives talking about the sale of fetal body parts. Planned Parenthood is facing both federal and state investigations—and the possibility of losing taxpayer funding.

Here’s what the other companies had to say:

* A representative from Coca-Cola confirmed for The Daily Signal the company does not contribute to Planned Parenthood, nor does it match employee contributions to the organization.

* “We are making sure that Ford Motor Company is not listed as a Planned Parenthood contributor on their website,” a representative from Ford told The Daily Signal. “In addition, we do not offer an employee match for charitable contributions,” the Ford representative said. It has been at least 10 years since Ford stopped matching employee gift contributions, the representative added.

* Similarly, Xerox was listed on the Planned Parenthood website and has said it also does not donate in any way. “We checked our files for the last 20 years and have no record of Xerox Corp. contributing to Planned Parenthood,” a representative from Xerox told The Daily Signal.

By Wednesday afternoon, Planned Parenthood had removed Xerox from its list of companies that match gifts to the organization. By Thursday morning, Planned Parenthood removed every company name listed as a donor.

Senate Will Vote Soon on Bill to Immediately De-Fund Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz

In the wake of two shocking videos showing top Planned Parenthood doctors arranging the sale of body parts form aborted babies, Senator James Lankford, an Oklahoma Republican, introduced a bill to end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood for a year while they are investigated for possible illegal practices. Now, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has put forward a fast-track process to get a vote on the measure as quickly as possible.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell started a fast-track process Friday on legislation to strip Planned Parenthood of federal funding in the wake of two controversial videos showing officials discussing delivery of fetal parts.

The Republican leader began “Rule 14,” which will let the legislation skip the committee process and be placed on the Senate calendar so it can be brought up for a floor vote.

McConnell has been asked by pro-life senators to allow a vote on an amendment to an unrelated highway funding bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, but the pro-life Senate Republican leader appears to want to avoid a debate about putting forward an unrelated amendment so lawmakers don’t vote against it on that basis alone.

Specifically, the Senate bill, Defund Planned Parenthood Act, would set a one-year moratorium on Planned Parenthood funding from the government, unless the organization ceases performing abortions, his office informed LifeNews.com. This would allow more federal dollars to go toward organizations like community health centers, which serve low-income populations and provide direct health care to women across the country without also killing unborn children in abortions.

“The recent videos uncovering Planned Parenthood’s inhumane abortion practices have hit a nerve with many Americans,” said Lankford. “While the government investigates Planned Parenthood to determine if their practice of adapting their abortion procedures to harvest the organs of children violates federal law, they should not continue to receive taxpayer money. Planned Parenthood receives more than $500 million in taxpayer money every year.”

“This is a sensitive topic for many and I am aware our nation is divided on the issue of abortion, but it is common sense that we shouldn’t force taxpayers to assist the harvesting of human organs,” he said. “Although abortion services account for about 3 percent of Planned Parenthood’s activities, serving about 10 percent of its clients, they perform over 300,000 abortions a year.”

Last Thursday, Lankford delivered a passionate speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate about Planned Parenthood. Lankford also wrote an op-ed calling for Congress to end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood and take up the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (S.1553) to ban abortions after five months.

Meanwhile, more than 80 members of the House of Representatives have introduced a bill that would immediately de-fund Planned Parenthood. Representative Diane Black (R-TN) and 80 original cosponsors introduced H.R. 3134, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015, which would immediately halt all sources of Federal funding to Planned Parenthood and its affiliates for a one year period.

Black, a Tennessee Republican and a nurse for more than 40 years, told LifeNews that the shocking video provides yet another reason to ensure the Planned Parenthood abortion company does not receive taxpayer dollars.

Since 2013, Congressman Black has sponsored H.R. 217, the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act, which would combat one of Planned Parenthood’s major government revenue streams by withholding Title X grants from any health care provider that performs abortions or gives funds to organizations that do. However, a nonpartisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) study released earlier this year found that Planned Parenthood also received $1.2 billion from Medicaid over a three year window – making it clear that legislation is needed to combat any possible source of federal funding for the scandal-ridden abortion mill.

House Republicans previously approved bills to de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business but the Senate has not recently voted for the bill because Democrats have prevented its passage.

In 2011, House members voted 241-185 for a resolution that would prohibit the Planned Parenthood abortion business from qualifying for family planning funds. The vote saw almost all Republicans supporting de-funding while Democrats generally opposed it. That was the second vote taken to de-fund the abortion giant. An earlier vote in 2011 saw the House de-funded Planned Parenthood on a 240-185 margin.

Last year, Planned Parenthood Federation of America rleased its 2013-2014 Annual Report.The report indicates Planned Parenthood did 327,653 abortions in 2013, an increase over the 327,166 abortions it did in 2012.

While it remains America’s biggest abortion corporation, the “nonprofit” continued to make money — bringing in $305.4 million last year and $305.3 million this year. Planned Parenthood continued to receive over a half-billion dollars in taxpayer money, as it took in $540 million in 2012 and $528 million in 2013.

Black told LifeNews in a statement: While Planned Parenthood and its counterparts like to repeat the company line that federal dollars do not directly fund abortions, commonsense tells us differently. According to Planned Parenthood’s own annual report, the organization performed 327, 653 abortions in 2013 alone – all the while receiving more than $528 million in funding from Uncle Sam. The sad truth is they are not alone. Similar organizations continue to threaten the lives of the unborn while cashing in on our tax dollars. My legislation will stop this shameful practice in its tracks.”

Some other takeaways from Planned Parenthood’s own figures:

In 2013, abortions made up 94% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services.
For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 174 abortions.
While abortions rose, Planned Parenthood adoption referrals dropped 14% in one year, and prenatal care services dropped 4%.
Planned Parenthood’s cancer prevention services are down 17% over one year, and contraceptive services dropped by 4%.
During fiscal year 2013-2014, Planned Parenthood received more than $528 million in taxpayer funding, or more than $1.4 million per day, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements.
Taxpayer funding accounts for 41% of Planned Parenthood’s overall revenue.
Planned Parenthood reported more than $127 million in excess revenue, and more than $1.4 billion in net assets.

There must be an immediate investigation of Planned Parenthood, and it must subsequently be defunded of the tax-payers’ dollars it currently enjoys. Videos have surfaced recently revealing that Planned Parenthood is in the business of butchering babies and doing so “softly” so as to preserve valuable parts for sale. These videos have been widely circulated, and Planned Parenthood’s president, Cecile Richards, has been forced to deny their legitimacy. She can now be seen making a cold, detached video statement that reduces what her organization does to making “donations for medical research.” However, the “donations” are bringing in money for Planned Parenthood.

The Center for Medical Progress is to release more videos, and that threat has Planned Parenthood shaking in their blood-stained medical gowns. In fact, according to LifeNews.com, Planned Parenthood admits “that CMP investigators may have video of actual tissue procurement at a PP facility.” And that’s not the worst of it. In a written response to the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s request for a staff briefing regarding Planned Parenthood’s “tissue donation” programs, the organization alerts the committee to damaging information still yet to be revealed.

Planned Parenthood writes:

At this point, we do not know the full extent of Biomax’s illicit conduct. We believe that on at least one occasion a representative from Biomax was shown a highly sensitive area in a clinic where tissue is processed after abortion procedures. While this work is standard and essential during any abortion procedure, any filming in such an area would be an extremely serious invasion of our patients’ privacy and dignity. We also believe that in at least one interaction at a Planned Parenthood facility, the Biomax representative asked questions about the racial characteristics of tissue donated to researchers studying sickle cell anemia, apparently seeking to create a misleading impression.

As more videos surface, are we going to learn that Planned Parenthood had a particular interest in selling the body parts of aborted black babies? It certainly appears to be so. And if you consider that in 2013 in New York City alone more black babies were aborted than were born, they certain didn’t lack “specimens for donation.” According to an article published on theamericanmirror.com, Kyle Olson cites a report from, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene entitled “Pregnancy Outcomes.” The report found, “Abortions among the ‘non-Hispanic black’ demographic were by far the highest among any racial group.” This is #blacklivesmatter at its best.

We don’t know what will be uncovered about Planned Parenthood and their immoral, illegal, and heinous practices, but you can be sure that none of it will show them having veered too far away from their founding mission of nearly 100 years ago: the extermination of “human weeds.”

Representatives from Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Co. and Xerox say they’ve asked Planned Parenthood to remove their names as corporate donors to the embattled organization. The move follows a Daily Signal report revealing the names of 41 companies that Planned Parenthood listed as donors. That list, which was featured on Planned Parenthood’s website, has since been removed.

Earlier this week, The Daily Signal used information from 2nd Vote to publish the names of 41 companies listed by Planned Parenthood as contributors. Shortly after the story was published, representatives from Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Co. and Xerox contacted The Daily Signal to say they were erroneously listed and requested that Planned Parenthood take them off its website.

The companies were cited by Planned Parenthood as employers who match charitable contributions. Planned Parenthood is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is exempt from paying federal income taxes.

A representative from Coca-Cola confirmed for The Daily Signal the company does not contribute to Planned Parenthood, nor does it match employee contributions to the organization. When told that its named appeared on Planned Parenthood’s website, the Coca-Cola representative said, “We’ll ask them to correct the information.”

Other companies voiced similar concerns about Planned Parenthood’s donor list. “We are making sure that Ford Motor Company is not listed as a Planned Parenthood contributor on their website,” a representative from Ford told The Daily Signal. “In addition, we do not offer an employee match for charitable contributions,” the Ford representative said. It has been at least 10 years since Ford stopped matching employee gift contributions, the representative added.

Planned Parenthood did not return The Daily Signal’s request for comment.

This comes less than two weeks after an undercover video describing Planned Parenthood’s sale of fetal body parts was released.

Black lives matter? Apparently not in New York City. A “Pregnancy Outcomes” report from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene reveals in 2013, more black babies were aborted than born in the city. A chart on page 7 shows 24,108 “non-Hispanic black” babies were born while 29,007 faced “induced terminations” — or abortions.

Abortions among the “non-Hispanic black” demographic were by far the highest among any racial group, according to a chart on page 25 of the report:

Many lay the guilt at the feet of Planned Parenthood. “Planned Parenthood is an organization with racist roots in their founder Margaret Sanger,” Hawaii State Rep. Bob McDermott tells EAGnews. “They continue to target poor minorities – to wit, more black babies were aborted in New York City than born last year.

“They claim to be providers of reproductive health care. I’m not sure how the little babies whose parts are being sold would feel about that statement,” he says, referring to the undercover videos that have been published. “To Planned Parenthood, this was a business decision. Instead of throwing the baby parts in the trash as normal, they chose to make a buck! Planned Parenthood is simply an evil organization driven by greed, sex, and immorality. It is utterly without value. Nothing surprises me when it comes to an organization whose main purpose is killing the unborn.”

It’s time to defund Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood is in full damage control mode. It is working on impugning the credibility of pro-life undercover investigators from the Center for Medical Progress who just today released another video on the abortion provider’s barbaric practices. It is also defending the technical legality of its practice of harvesting organs for a fee during abortions, deploying its allies in the media and the White House, and seeking desperately to restore its carefully constructed and ferociously defended image as an organization primarily focused on women’s health, and only secondarily involved in providing abortions. But the edifice is cracked and no amount of attacking the messenger or hair-splitting legal argument can change the fact that Planned Parenthood’s own medical directors have unwittingly offered rare and much-needed clarity about the nature of the business that Planned Parenthood has chosen, and shared (if inadvertently) the truth about precisely whose lives are destroyed as a result.

Regardless of the legal technicalities involved (which should be investigated), the words of Dr. Nucatola, Planned Parenthood’s medical director, last week and Dr. Mary Gatter, president of its Council of Medical Directors, today make it perfectly clear that Planned Parenthood’s business is killing.

Between bites of salad and sips of wine, Nucatola described how she kills unborn children so as to harvest their vital organs, which are then conveyed to biotech firms for a fee. In her own words: “you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax so that, you know — we’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that — so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.” She also explained (albeit in more antiseptic and technical terms) how she can even harvest the intact portion of an unborn child’s skull by first turning the body in the womb to a breach position just before evacuating the child’s brains with a suction device. Dr. Gatter today explained how her abortionists are able to use “a less crunchy technique to get whole specimens.”

These grim descriptions are unambiguous about who is destroyed as Planned Parenthood goes about its business. The being killed by Planned Parenthood’s abortionists is a human being, albeit at the earliest and most vulnerable stage of her life. Indeed, her organs are valuable to others precisely (and only) because they come from a human being.

Crushing human bodies. Evacuating human skulls. Harvesting human vital organs for a fee. This is what Planned Parenthood does. This is its business. And business is booming. Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the world. According to its most recent annual report, in 2013 Planned Parenthood performed 327,653 abortions – an increase from previous years, despite an overall nationwide decline in abortions. This constitutes 94 percent of all “pregnancy services” provided during this time period. At an average price of $500 per abortion sold (according to various sources including Planned Parenthood’s website), this amounts to roughly $164 million per year (almost 54 percent of its non-government health services revenue for 2013). U.S. taxpayers provide Planned Parenthood with $540 million per year. Like any big business, Planned Parenthood protects its brand and promotes its agenda in the political and cultural spheres.

In both 2012 and 2014, its political action committee spent more than $1 million to oppose all restrictions on abortion (including laws requiring informed consent, parental involvement, limiting federal funding, and banning late term abortions).

Planned Parenthood collaborates directly with television and film producers (e.g., HBO’s “Girls”) and women’s magazine editors (e.g., Cosmopolitan) to promote its brand and abortion rights.
The American people should be thankful for Dr. Nucatola’s and Gatter’s words, and even for the coarse and graphic manner in which they were delivered. In doing so, they offered a rare glimpse of the horrible truth about the nature and human cost of Planned Parenthood’s work. Thanks to them, Planned Parenthood’s slick corporate image as merely an altruistic defender of women’s health is shattered. Having its true face revealed, the path forward is clear. No minimally decent society can support an organization whose business is killing and harvesting body parts for money. Defund Planned Parenthood now.

New Video Shows Another Planned Parenthood Doctor Haggling Price of Baby Body Parts

In the second video released today by the Center for Medical Progress, yet another senior medical adviser to Planned Parenthood of America appears to negotiate the price of selling baby body parts to actors playing entrepreneurs from a start-up biotech firm.

Dr. Mary Gatter, President of Planned Parenthood’s Medical Director’s Council, is asked, “What would you expect for intact tissue?” Gatter starts to haggle immediately, “Why don’t you start by telling me what you’re used to paying?”

When pushed for a number, Gatter says, “Well, you know in negotiations the person who throws out the figure first is at a loss, right? So…” When pushed again for how much her Planned Parenthood affiliate is willing to sell baby body parts for, she responds, “Okay, $75.” When the buyer tells her that number seems low Gatter responds, “I was going to say $50.” Then the buy offers her $100 to which Gatter quickly responds, “Okay.”

After the first video was released last week in which Dr. Deborah Nucatola also appears to negotiate the price of fetal body parts, Planned Parenthood insisted that the price Nucatola mentioned was only related to the costs incurred by Planned Parenthood with no profit involved. In the Nucatola video, however, she is seen and heard explaining that the Planned Parenthood affiliates in the body parts business wanted to do more than “break even.”

In this second video, shot in February at a restaurant in Pasadena, Gatter seems willing to accept a higher and higher price. What’s more, in the beginning of the video, she talks about an earlier situation where a company called Novogenix used to come to her abortion clinic to buy specimens: “Heather, a Novogenix person would come to the site and our staff would sign the patients up and get consent. And then Heather would look at the tissue and take what she required. So logistically it was very easy for us. We didn’t have to do anything.” (emphasis added)

This statement would seem to contradict the need of a higher and higher price for doing nothing except letting a technician from another company come into the facility and take specimens. While she seems willing to accept higher prices, Gatter does claim Planned Parenthood is “not in it for the money” and they do not want to appear to be selling body parts.

At the end of the video, like Nucatola, Gatter talks about changing the abortion technique to get intact specimens, changing from a rather violent suction method that would destroy tissue to what she calls an IPAS, which is a reference to a nonprofit company that makes and distributes “manual vacuum aspirators” which would be a less harmful way to get at the internal organs. She said there would be protocol issues with the patient but that she saw no problem with it. She calls it a “less crunchy” way to get intact organs. At the end of the tape provided by CMP, Gatter jokes about wanting “a Lamborghini” for body parts.

This new video will no doubt stoke the fires that are now burning in Congress and in states around the country in response to the first undercover Planned Parenthood video. Already two committees in the House and Senate have called for investigations of the abortion giant, along with five state governments. The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2).

CMP’s Project Lead David Daleiden said, “Planned Parenthood’s top leadership had admitted they harvest aborted baby parts and receive payments for this. Planned Parenthood’s only denial is that they make money off of baby parts, but that is a desperate lie that becomes more and more untenable as CMP reveals their business operations and statements that prove otherwise.”

Federal law does allow for body parts to be donated and for basic expenses to be recouped, including expenses related to “reasonable payments associated with the transportation, implantation, processing, preservation, quality control, or storage of human fetal tissue.” Putting aside the grisly business of buying and selling organs harvested from unborn babies, it seems increasingly likely that Planned Parenthood is going to have to explain how the prices sited by both Nucatola and now Gatter fit in with such “reasonable payments,” and they’re going to have to explain it in front of legislative committees and perhaps even prosecutors and attorneys general.

Dems come to defense of Planned Parenthood

Congressional Democrats are coming to the defense of Planned Parenthood as Republicans launch investigations into the group’s use of fetal tissue from abortions. Multiple Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday dismissed a secretly recorded viral video that shows a Planned Parenthood executive detailing how the livers, lungs and hearts of fetuses are preserved during abortions for medical research. “It’s got a Benghazi feel to it, for me,” centrist Rep. Scott Peters (D-Calif.) said. “They’ve been attacking Planned Parenthood for years,” said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), another prominent abortion rights supporter. “They’ve been calling for investigations for years.”

Still, the footage, which was recorded by anti-abortion advocates posing as fetal tissue buyers from a research company, is putting Democrats in an uncomfortable spot. While Democrats have for years defended Planned Parenthood against GOP attacks, the graphic discussion about “fetal parts” in the video has energized conservative groups that say the reality of abortion is deliberately obscured by the media.

The remarks from Planned Parenthood’s chief medical director surfaced Tuesday in a nearly nine-minute video that was created by a new group, the Center for Medical Progress. Planned Parenthood, which receives federal funding that cannot be used for abortions, has acknowledged that the video does feature its top medical officer but says the footage is heavily edited and “grossly mischaracterizes” the organization’s practice of donating fetal tissue to research.

At least one anti-abortion Democrat, Rep. Dan Lipinski (Ill.), said he supports the GOP for its planned investigations. Lipinski denounced the video in a press conference with several House Republicans on Wednesday and said he believes more of his colleagues in the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus will follow. “I’m hopeful that some of the pro-choice Democrats also come out in support of the investigation to find out what’s going on at these clinics,” he told The Hill. “I think everyone should be concerned about it, no matter what your position is on abortion.”

Some Democrats, like Rep. Diana DeGette (Colo.), the co-chairwoman of the House Pro-Choice Caucus, have been cautious in their response to the video. In a statement to The Hill, she expressed support for Planned Parenthood, though it fell far short of a sweeping defense. “Planned Parenthood has spoken clearly on the specific circumstances surrounding this video, and I will let their experts explain for themselves. Circumstances of this video aside, people need to understand the important research that specific tissue types contribute to,” she wrote in a statement.

The video, which is nearing 1.5 million views online, reverberated across Capitol Hill and the campaign trail on Wednesday. Less than 24 hours after it surfaced, lawmakers in the House had opened a pair of congressional investigations. Dozens of Republicans, including Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), have condemned the claims in the video as “inhumane” and “grotesque.”

GOP presidential hopefuls, including Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Rand Paul (Ky.), are also raising the issue’s national profile. The remarks by Planned Parenthood’s medical director in the video are shockingly candid.

While sipping wine in a Los Angeles restaurant, she describes “crushing” the fetus in a way that preserves its organs for researchers. She also describes the growing demand for liver, lungs and “intact” hearts.

Democrats have said there’s no evidence that the group is violating federal laws from her remarks, though none of them told The Hill they had seen the video. “Planned Parenthood is actually allowed, is my understanding, for scientific research, to use fetal tissue, and that is not illegal,” said Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), a member of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus who said she had spoken to Planned Parenthood leadership. When asked about Republicans’ planned investigations into Planned Parenthood, Schakowsky said she wanted an investigation into the Center for Medical Progress, which she called “a phony company.”

The issue of abortion has already caused trouble for members of Congress in both parties this year, from a bipartisan Senate bill to fight human trafficking to a House bill banning late-term abortions that drew objections over its language on rape.

Earlier this week, House leaders pulled a bipartisan bill from Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) that would have created a commemorative coin to help raise money for breast cancer research because some of that funding would have gone to Planned Parenthood. The bill was ultimately passed Wednesday with broad support from both parties. But Maloney hinted that the delay was, in part, because of the Planned Parenthood video. Asked if she thought the outrage over the video fueled sudden opposition to her bill, Maloney responded, “Yes. It is an unusual coincidence, shall we say.”

A shocking new expose’ video has caught Planned Parenthood’s top doctor describing how the abortion business sells the body parts of aborted babies. New undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.

In the video, Nucatola is at a business lunch with actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company. As head of PPFA’s Medical Services department, Nucatola has overseen medical practice at all Planned Parenthood locations since 2009. She also trains new Planned Parenthood abortion doctors and performs abortions herself at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles up to 24 weeks.

Nucatola admits that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts, uses illegal partial-birth abortion procedures in order to get salable parts, and is aware of their own liability for doing so and takes steps to cover it up.

The footage shockingly depicts the top medical official at the Planned Parenthood corporation munching on her salad while she discusses the sale of body parts of unborn children victimized by abortions. She brazenly describes how the heads of unborn babies killed in abortions command top dollar.

The buyers ask Nucatola, “How much of a difference can that actually make, if you know kind of what’s expected, or what we need?” “It makes a huge difference,” Nucatola replies. “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”

Nucatola explains, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.” “And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex,” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”

Federal law prohibits the sale of body parts of aborted babies. In fact, the sale or purchase of human fetal tissue a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2).

Nucatola also reveals that Planned Parenthood’s national office is concerned about their liability for the sale of fetal parts. “At the national office, we have a Litigation and Law Department which just really doesn’t want us to be the middle people for this issue right now,” she says. “But I will tell you that behind closed doors these conversations are happening with the affiliates.”

A separate clip shows Planned Parenthood President and CEO Cecile Richards praising Nucatola’s work to facilitate connections for fetal tissue collection. “Oh good,” Richards says when told about Nucatola’s support for fetal tissue collection at Planned Parenthood, “Great. She’s amazing.”

The video is the first by The Center for Medical Progress in its “Human Capital” series, a nearly 3-year-long investigative journalism study of Planned Parenthood’s illegal trafficking of aborted fetal parts. The head of the project, David Daleiden, reacted to the shocking footage his team captured: “Planned Parenthood’s criminal conspiracy to make money off of aborted baby parts reaches to the very highest levels of their organization. Elected officials must listen to the public outcry for Planned Parenthood to be held accountable to the law and for our tax dollars to stop underwriting this barbaric abortion business.”

Operation Rescue President Troy Newman serves on the Board of Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress. During this investigation, Newman advised Daleiden, providing consultation services and material support. “Abortionists use ultrasound like a butcher uses scales to sell meat by the pound for profit,” said Newman in an email to LifeNews. “Evidence further shows that Planned Parenthood has gone to great lengths to keep the public from ever knowing about their illicit human body-parts trade, understanding that if news were to leak, it could spell doom for the abortion giant.”

Abortion Activist Throws Firebomb at Pro-Lifers Praying at Texas Abortion Clinic

An abortion activist drove by a group of pro-life people peacefully praying at a local Austin, Texas abortion clinic and threw a firebomb at them. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Staff with the Central Texas Coalition for Life informed LifeNews.com of the incident via email.

“Yesterday evening toward the end of the daily prayer vigil, a passerby threw a flaming object at the prayer volunteers. Fortunately no one was injured and the flames were put out quickly,” the group said. “This is not the first time people have thrown objects at pro-lifers but clearly this instance was a more direct threat, and we always want to exercise caution.”

“The prayer volunteers handled the situation very well – one took a photo of the license plate of the vehicle, another called the police and her Day Captain to report the incident. The police soon caught and arrested the female driver. Eventually KXAN News came out and interviewed one of our brave volunteers, Ruth,” the group added.

UPDATE: Local news sources indicate a Melanie Toney has been arrested for the alleged assault.

A woman who police say threw a Molotov cocktail at a group of women praying in front of a Planned Parenthood clinic on Monday evening is charged with aggravated assault. Austin police and members of the bomb squad responded the location on E. Ben White Boulevard received the call shortly after 6 p.m.

According to the executive director of Central Texas Coalition for Life, the group was able to record the suspect’s license plate number before she drove away, which led police to 52-year-old Melanie Toney. Toney was pulled over less than three miles away from the clinic.

When officers interviewed Toney, she initially denied everything but later admitted to throwing the bottle and that it “might” have been smoldering when she threw it out of her window, according to an affidavit.

The local news station has more on what happened and the arrest of the perpetrator:

Police arrested a driver Monday night who they say threw a flaming object from a car near the Planned Parenthood clinic on East Ben White Boulevard near South Congress. Austin police received the call shortly after 6 p.m., and members of the bomb squad responded. No one was injured and nothing was damaged, police said.

KXAN spoke to Ruth Allwein, a member of pro-life campaign 40 Days For Life, Monday evening. Allwein said she was praying outside the clinic when a driver threw the object at her.

“I realized she was throwing something out the window and it was on fire,” Allwein said. “So I backed away and turned around to see if I could tell what the car looked like, but I couldn’t.”

Police could only provide initial information Monday night and were unable to confirm all of the details provided by Allwein.

The pro-life organization continued: “The safety of our volunteers is of utmost importance which is why it is necessary to have at least 2 people praying at all times. Our approach has always been that we have a peaceful prayerful attitude and be aware of our surroundings, which is what these volunteers exemplified. Let us pray for all involved. Thank you to everyone who boldly takes a stand for life!”

Texas Pro-Life Lawmakers Cause Stir With Signs Saying, “Former Fetus”

In Texas, pro-life signs calling some state lawmakers “former fetuses” are causing controversy at the state Capitol. On March 11, Rep. Jonathan Strickland (R-Bedford) said Rep. Charlie Geren (R-Fort Worth) tore down his pro-life sign. Rep. Strickland said, “It’s just been ripped down and thrown in my staffer’s face by Charlie Geren. I thought it was absolutely handled in the wrong way. I wish Rep. Geren was more professional about it instead of intimidating my staff.”

However, Rep. Geren said he simply removed the signs because they were in violation of rules from the State Preservation Board, which is responsible for making sure the Capitol grounds are maintained. He said, “Tearing them down is hardly the deal. If Stickland wants to act like a child, that’s fair, but I did not rip it down.”

On March 9^th, Texas Right to Life distributed the signs, a day before Planned Parenthood supporters were scheduled to visit the Capitol. In a Facebook p ost, Rep. Strickland said, “In honor of their visit, I put this sign up on my office door. Organizations that murder children are not welcome in my office.” And today Texas Right to Life tweeted that it was “sad that signs are being torn down.”

As LifeNews previously reported, the Texas Planned Parenthood abortion business has been having a rough couple of years. First, in 2013, they had to pay $4.23 million dollars to the state of Texas after they participated in a massive Medicaid fraud scheme. Then 14 of their 23 abortion facilities had to close down or stop doing abortions after an omnibus pro-life bill (HB 2) passed their legislature. And now, the Texas Legislature is working to take more of Planned Parenthood’s state funding under a base budget proposal that says money for a breast and cervical cancer screening program for women must first go to public entities that provide those types of health assessments.

According to the Texas Tribune, Sen. Jane Nelson, the chief budget writer in the Senate, confirmed that the provision is intended to cut off funding to groups that also offer abortions. She said, “There are many members that feel very strongly that the facilities that receive that funding should not be facilities that are performing abortions, so the answer is: Don’t perform abortions and you get the money.”

Additionally, in January, over 80 House members in the Texas Legislature introduced the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act, which will revoke taxpayer funds from Planned Parenthood to ensure taxpayers are not financing the abortion industry.

One of the lead sponsors of the bill in the House, Diana Black, said, “Planned Parenthood and organizations like it that profit off the destruction of innocent life do not deserve one more dime from American taxpayers. I have been proud to lead the charge against the funding of the big-abortion industry since my first days as a state legislator, and I am honored to continue this fight by reintroducing the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act. This legislation would simply clarify the original intent and spirit of the law to ensure that Title X federal funded grants will no longer be awarded to ‘health care’ providers that fail to protect life by providing abortions.”

Liberals Bash Anna Dugger for Noting How Abortion Has Killed 16 Million Black Babies

Anna Duggar has done it now. Online “entertainment” news sites are up in arms that a woman would actually express her…gasp…opinion via Twitter! The Duggars are known for being unapologetically pro-life, and they are absurdly hated by those who rabidly defend a choice their mothers never made (ironically being alive to spew their pro-abortion nonsense). What did Anna do that has E! Online, RadarOnline, FishWrapper , InTouchWeekly and even Mommyish and Opposing Views so riled? She retweeted a Black History Month meme that I created and posted, via The Radiance Foundation, to highlight abortion’s devastating impact in the black community.

“Human beings should be remembered not dismembered. Because of the violence of abortion, over 16 million black people are history. TooManyAborted.com #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackLivesMatter #AllLivesMatter”

These are the words that have offended some (evidently) disturbed Twitter folk—enough for them to post death threats and insanely profane tweets to both Anna and The Radiance Foundation. The black abortion rate (up to 5 times that of the majority population) isn’t controversial for these folks…just that a white person (namely a Duggar) dared to share this truth with the Twitterverse.

Keep in mind, I am as black as Obama. That’s pretty much where our similarities end. He believes that government can decide who is human and who isn’t. I see how that social experiment has miserably and fatally failed over and over again. But humankind seems to refuse to learn from history. We live in a culture that too often values the emptiness of entertainment over the empowerment of education.

Black History Month. It’s supposed to be a reflection of history. But in a lazy online world, it’s much easier to vent venom than click for clarity. Heaven forbid some of these people should actually dive into the deep pools of digital information and soak up some information. Instead, in 140 characters or less, people celebrate their own ignorance. One tweet scolded me for using Black History Month to further my own agenda: “#BlackHistoryMonth serves a purpose- with that being said, it’s purpose is NOT to get across your point of abortion.”

Well, fighting abortion was the purpose of numerous black historical figures’ efforts.

Famed freedom fighter, Fannie Lou Hamer (“I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired!”), is known for her courageous efforts to fight poverty and ensure black citizens’ right to vote. But history books and multitudes of tributes omit that she fought for the dignity of all human life, including those in the womb.

Journalist Ethel Payne, known as the “First Lady of the Black Press” wrote in her 1980 Afro-American column: “Fannie Lou Hamer was a passionate believer in the right to life.” She further articulated that Hamer “spoke out strongly against abortion as a means of genocide of blacks.”One of the most influential and destructive components of Black American History is eugenics. The racist pseudoscience birthed Jim Crow laws and Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger, the founder of the nation’s largest abortion chain, was a member of the American Eugenics Society. Alan F. Guttmacher, founder of the Guttmacher Institute, served as President of Planned Parenthood and Vice President of the American Eugenics Society.

This deeply racist and elitist movement established state eugenics boards which forcibly sterilized over 60,000 Americans, as thoroughly documented in Maafa21. North Carolina recently paid reparations to victims for this heinous time in American history. One of those victims is my friend Elaine Riddick, a black woman who was raped at the age of 13. She gave birth to her son, but was then forcibly sterilized and butchered by order of The Eugenics Board of North Carolina. She would never be able to have another child again.

So there’s a little history lesson. Kudos to Anna Duggar for sharing truth that so-called “leaders” in the black community refuse to acknowledge. I wish that one single black celebrity would say something about the millions of black lives snuffed out by abortion. I wish that one single black celebrity would have an ounce of the courage of Fannie Lou Hamer and call out the predatory abortion industry.

Anna Duggar’s “infamous” retweet reminds us of how twisted we have become in our society’s understanding of race and human equality. Some are so desperate to accuse others of racism that they miss it where it screams loud and clear—in an industry that kills unborn human life (disproportionately black) for a living. So they spew their lack of any historical (or present) knowledge of this injustice on Twitter and celebrate their unwillingness to learn. Their responses show they have no concept of what is actually racist. It’s merely an easy buzzword in their minuscule arsenal of hashtags and accusations.

From the bizarre reactions on Twitter it’s apparent many of the opponents of this Black History Month TooManyAborted.com meme don’t realize what message their “outrage” is actually sending. If they don’t agree that there are too many aborted, then they’d have to agree with the converse of that statement: Not Enough Aborted. Now that’s racist.

Black Sheriff Says if Black Lives Mattered They’d Protest at Abortion Clinics

CNN’s Poppy Harlow interviewed Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke about the recent protests that some in the Black Community have sparked after the police related deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Harlow asked the Sheriff, who has been on several news shows on Fox and others, about a tweet he sent out implying that if Black lives mattered the protesters would be outside abortion clinics because of the high numbers of black babies killed by abortion.

The tweet sent by Sheriff Clarke, a black man himself, was sent to Mitch Smith, Journalist in the Chicago bureau of The New York Times and read, “If only these faux protesters were asked by media about all the black on black killing or black babies aborted in US every year.“

Poppy asked the Sheriff if he sent the tweet, “Yes I did,” Sheriff Clark responded.

He continued, “When I hear these things that Black lives matter, the only people who really believe that statement are American police officers who go into American ghettos every day to keep people from killing each other. Alright, so, yes I did say that and I meant it. Look, the abortions? If Black lives – if they really mattered, that’s where the outrage would be that’s where we’d see protests…”

This blog has proven time and again that abortion targets the Black community. Stats released by the CDC again prove that minorities are killed by abortion in disproportionate numbers. In fact, according to the most recent numbers, 36.2% of the total number of abortions recorded for race or ethnicity were reported on Black women.

Mississippi, which currently has only one abortion clinic in the state, had the highest number of abortions reported on Black women coming in at 63.4%.
Alabama, reported that 58.7% of their abortions were on Blacks
In Georgia they reported 52.1% abortions on Black.
Tennessee performed 49.9% of their abortions on Black women
Virginia performed 43.9% on Black women.
Michigan’s Black abortion percentage was 47.9%.
New York City alone performed 46.1% of their abortions on Black women.
41.1% of Black abortions was reported in Missouri.

It is a known fact that a majority of abortions are performed by Planned Parenthood.

Despite their founder’s link to the Klan and the racist eugenics movement, not one protest from the Black Lives Matter movement led by abortion advocates like Rev. Al Sharpton has been organized outside Planned Parenthood. Even when Planned Parenthood left a 24-year-old Black woman bleeding to death in their Chicago clinic, Sharpton said nothing. That woman’s name was Tonya Reaves and the only protests on her behalf were organized by black leaders within the pro-life movement.

So that begs the question, initiated by Sheriff Clark, if Black Lives Matter, and they certainly do, why is it that the one place known for killing off black babies and a black woman is not being protested?

Article 4. No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, and no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit for parenthood.

I’ve chosen to join the Republican Party because I firmly believe that the conservative values they represent best align with my own personal beliefs and convictions.

I believe in the sanctity of life. I believe in traditional marriage. I believe in helping Arkansans.

He noted in his remarks that the recent Democratic Party of Arkansas’ stance regarding Planned Parenthood and the state of Arkansas’ previous funding, which Gov. Asa Hutchinson called to end, was cited as a major reason for Holcomb’s switch.

If standing against women’s health care including Pap smears, breast cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, prenatal checkups, or the equality of all Arkansans is important to Rep. Holcomb, then he’s found a good home in the Republican Party of Arkansas.

It’s becoming apparent that Holcomb will be just one of the first to leave the party that is supporting bloodshed, fetal parts harvesting and now, as we have seen, infanticide.

Americans nationwide have called for de-funding Planned Parenthood after the massive scandal at Planned Parenthood, where its staff and officials have been caught selling aborted babies and their body parts.

Since de-funding, abortions in Texas have dropped by almost 20,000.

Some 280 babies were aborted who were 20 weeks of age or older and half of all abortions in Texas were repeat abortions.

After eight shocking videos that have caught top Planned Parenthood abortion practitioners arranging to sell aborted babies — and even dissecting one live baby — millions of pro-life people are up in arms.

If you support life, you cannot support this bill.

If you support natural marriage, you cannot support this bill.

If you support de-funding Planned Parenthood, you cannot support this bill.

If you support religious liberty – or say you do – you cannot support the “Equality Act.”

It kills religious liberty. And an amendment won’t fix it, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman. Offering a stronger religious exemption may be among his plans as he considers support for S. 1858.
