Sen. Graham ‘Surprised’ at Prosecution Recommendation

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he was “surprised” to learn a Georgia special grand jury recommended his prosecution in the case involving alleged attempts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

Former President Donald Trump and 18 other defendants were indicted Aug. 14 by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. A report on Friday revealed that the special grand jury in the case recommended indicting 39 people, including Graham, former Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue of Georgia, and former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Graham commented despite saying he had not read the report that recommended 39 people be indicted. According to the report, 13 jurors recommended his prosecution while seven did not. One grand jury member abstained.

“I was totally surprised,” Graham told reporters in South Carolina on Friday, The Hill reported. “I never suggested anybody set aside the election. I never said ‘go find votes.’ I never said anything other than trying to find how the mail-in balloting system worked.”

The senator testified before the grand jury but only after he was ordered by courts to do so in a legal battle that went all the way to the Supreme Court. Graham defended his actions surrounding the 2020 election, which included his phone conversation with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, issuing the following statement later Friday:

“As the then-Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I had to decide whether to hold a hearing regarding the allegations of election misconduct in Georgia and other locations, as well as whether to certify the election results.

“I had questions, as did many others, about how the mail ballot process worked in Georgia and other locations. I did my due diligence. At the end of the day, I voted to certify the election results from every state including Georgia.

“It should never be a crime for a federal elected official, particularly the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who will have to vote to certify a presidential election, to question and ensure the integrity of that election.”

Raffensperger claimed Graham asked him about possibly throwing out votes that were legally cast — something the senator has ridiculed. He has said his focus was on mail-in ballots and how to match signatures.

“What I did was consistent with my job as being a U.S. senator, chair of the Judiciary Committee,” Graham said, The Hill reported. “I think the system in this country is getting off the rails and we have to be careful not to use the legal system as a political tool.”

Graham added that ultimately he made the “responsible decision” and voted to certify the 2020 election for President Joe Biden.

“The case will move forward without me,” Graham said. “If it ever becomes impossible or politically dangerous or legally dangerous for a United States senator to call up people to find out how the election was wrong, God help us all. The next election, if I have questions, I’ll do the same thing.”

If ‘No One Is Above The Law,’ Democrats And Their Partisan Pawns Would Be Arraigned, Not Trump

America’s two-tiered justice system status was solidified on Thursday after a Manhattan grand jury voted to hit former President Donald Trump with a felony indictment and the threat of imprisonment. Cue the chorus of Democrats and corporate media mouthpieces who spent all of Thursday night on Twitter condescendingly warning: “no one is above the law, not even the former president.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the anti-Trump Adams, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, Rep. Adam Schiff, and even Trump’s ex-attorney Michael Cohen say Trump- or anyone else- doesn’t just get a free pass because he’s a 2024 presidential candidate. Yet, it doesn’t take an expert to know that the sole reason Trump ever faced indictment is because his political enemies requested it.

In addition to suggesting that Trump is not “above the law,” former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claimed that the former president has the opportunity to “prove innocence” in court. Of course, the law, smugly touted by Pelosi, dictates that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty- not the other way around.

Whether Pelosi’s “innocence” comment was a Freudian slip or a genuine assertion, we may never know. What we do know is that for years, Democrats have operated under the belief that their party members and their partisan allies are above the law.

1. The Criminals Alvin Bragg Refused To Prosecute

While Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was busy searching for ways to indict Trump, violent criminals were taking over New York City streets.

During Bragg’s first year in office, major crime in New York City increased by 22 percent. Since then, the DA has made a career out of reducing charges for armed robbers, freeing cop-beaters, relaxing bail, and letting violent antisemites off.

Bragg’s soft-on-crime policies may have earned him left-wing billionaire financier George Soros’ favor and dollars, but even Democrat-voting New Yorkers know that he’s no stranger to giving better treatment to convicts than law-abiding people like this bodega owner who defended himself against a murderous criminal.

2. Hillary Clinton

If Democrats truly cared about campaign finance law violations, they would have already prosecuted several members of their party, including Hillary Clinton.

In 2022, the Federal Elections Commission fined Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign for falsely attributing the money that the Democrat used to orchestrate the Russian collusion hoax. If Trump is guilty of intent to conceal a campaign finance crime, a motivated prosecutor might look at the DNC and Clinton campaign’s efforts to hide their involvement in the so-called Steele “dossier” and find they were guilty of the same crime.

In addition to her election meddling, Clinton and her staff mishandled highly classified information, which resulted in at least 91 security violations. Instead of raiding her house and asking the DOJ to prosecute her, the FBI “inexplicably agreed to destroy [Clinton staffers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson’s] laptops knowing that the contents were the subject of Congressional subpoenas and preservation letters.”

Clinton also played a central role in the decision to abandon four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, where they were murdered by terrorists.

3. Barack Obama

Before Clinton was forced to pay for her scheming, President Barack Obama faced “one of the largest fees ever levied against a presidential campaign,” $375,000, for “campaign reporting violations.” Instead of facing calls for prison time, Obama received years of protection from the corporate media and fake fact-checkers who repeatedly downplayed his violation as a proportionally small infraction compared to the billion dollars he raised on the campaign trail.

4. Election Law-Breakers Like Marc Elias

Marc Elias has repeatedly tried to undermine U.S. elections. He has such a reputation for meddling and manipulating elections that even a federal judge reprimanded him for it. Unlike Douglass Mackey, who was charged by the DOJ for posting a meme encouraging Hillary voters to “text” their votes, however, Elias has not faced any charges or unannounced raids.

5. President Joe Biden

A president avoiding paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes seems like the kind of thing federal agencies, including the recently financially invigorated Internal Revenue Service, should explore. Yet Biden, who hasn’t explained millions of dollars of his recorded income, and First Lady Jill Biden together reportedly dodged about $517,000 in Medicare and Obamacare taxes between 2017 and 2020 without scrutiny.

6. Hunter Biden

The president’s son isn’t just a walking liability for the Biden family name, he’s a glaring national security threat with a long, infamous history of using illicit drugs, engaging in possibly criminal sexual escapades with foreign women, and selling access to his dad under the guise of doing business with foreign oligarchs from places like China.

Besides all this and his reckless handling of a lost gun in 2018 — which, against normal protocol, the Secret Service reportedly helped him cover up — Hunter likely lied on federal forms about his drug use to purchase that gun, a felony, with barely a whisper of punishment.

7. Eric Swalwell

Speaking of communist China, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell canoodling with a known spy for the nation’s No. 1 enemy seems like a pretty serious offense. Instead of a member of the House Intelligence Committee facing consequences for giving foreign spies access to key U.S. government offices and information, Swalwell is still comfortably rage-tweeting about Trump and MAGA supporters and appearing as a guest on corrupt corporate media programs.

8. Eric Holder

Former Attorney General Eric Holder misled Congress during its investigation of the Obama-era “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal, which used taxpayer dollars to put guns into the hands of Mexican drug lords. Holder was held in contempt, but that’s pretty much the only punishment he received for intentionally dodging subpoenas and hiding documents from congressional oversight.

9. Susan Rice

President Barack Obama’s National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, unmasked members of the Trump transition team and then lied about it. Unmasking may be a legitimate and legal process for those with the authority, but covering up an attempt to target the political enemies of the regime is an abuse of power that deserves examination.

Instead, it was yet another action taken by the U.S. intelligence apparatus to justify spying on American citizens.

10. The Pelosi Family

Suspected insider trading deserves at least a second glance by federal investigators, but it looks like, so far, Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul have gotten away with conveniently timing their stock purchases and sales to massively grow their wealth.

[Read: “Democrats Say ‘No One Is Above The Law,’ But This List Of Their Corrupt Allies Proves Otherwise”]

The same people who love lording “no one is above the law” over Americans are the ones who think they are above any semblance of oversight or law, or constitutionality. If Democrats truly valued rule of law, illegal border crossers, Russia hoaxers, Jeffrey Epstein’s clients, pro-abortion vandals, rioters, and the people who run corrupt government agencies like the Department of Justice, the FBI, the NSA, and the Manhattan DA’s office would be the ones standing in court next week, not Trump.

My Own Two Cents About the Results of the Officer Wilson Verdict

New WhatDidYouSay Logo

The news is full of reporting on what happened in Ferguson, Missouri, last night after the Grand Jury issued their results of three months of testimony, questions and carefully considering their decision.

Rather than join the crowd of regurgitating the reports of the riots, including those in many other cities, please allow me to give you some other thoughts about the entire subject;

  1. “Never argue, or try to reason with, nor bother to ask questions of delusional people. You are NOT the DONKEY (Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Extreme-Liberal/Full-of-Hate/Democrat followers) whisperer.”DO NOT JACKASS
  2. Most of the rioters you saw last night could care less about Michael Brown, or how he died. They just wanted to riot, destroy, pillage and make a fuss. No matter the verdict, they were determined to riot.Angry Black Mob 01
  3. They wanted free stuff. Noticed the businesses they targeted; Cell Phone stores, liquor stores, auto parts stores (McDonalds I really don’t understand).
  4. They wanted to destroy. They hate anyone who actually makes something of their lives. They do not understand, nor do they want to understand, how someone starts and builds a business. This is largely due to the Professional Pot-Stirrer-Thugs of Sharpton/Jackson. As long as these humans remain convinced that the world hates them, owes them, has oppressed them, they will remain victims and never think for themselves. The Sharpton/Jackson’s will continue to get filthy rich off their victims supposed oppression, and laugh all the way to a lifestyle their victims only dream of having. Adding to the wrong is the Sharpton/Jackson’s not paying taxes like good citizens.Stirring Angry People Group Pot
  5. Race relations will never heal as long as these vicious Pot-Stirrer Thugs continue to poke at the bruises they have inflicted on their victims. You can never extinguish the firestorm of hate with more fuel.satisfied people
  6. These victims are so drunk with their hatred, and perceived oppression, that reasoning will never be possible. They will continue to hate, riot. destroy and murder at exponential numbers. Black on black crime will continue to grow in exponential numbers. Black on black hatred will continue as independent-thinking black people seek to escape their perceived bondage and become successful like Dr. Ben Carson, Condoleezza Rice, Allen B. West and other like people. They actually started thinking for themselves. They were raised by parents that encouraged them to get a great education, and do something with that education. They were taught to not follow the crowd, or cave into the stereotypes thrust on them by the Sharpton/Jackson Professional Pot-Stirrer Thugs. Isn’t it odd that they all became conservatives?
  7. More evidence of all this was the riots in other cities. No one can possibly give a righteous reason for their conduct. All they wanted to do was riot, they didn’t care what opportunity they had to do so.
  8. All the pundits that FOX and others interviewed live that are died-in-the-wool Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/White-Hating/America-Hating/Democrat’s that had the same talking points; The prosecutor failed in his job because he took the right steps in going to the Grand Jury first. Their claims that Office Wilson was not cross examined, and that they didn’t have any of the information of the evidence, was all a canard (Definition of CANARD: a false or unfounded report or story; especially : a fabricated report b : a groundless rumor or belief) Their real reason for their complaint was that they didn’t get to have MORE “ammunition” to yell and complaint about, giving them MORE reasons to riot.al sharpton america
  9. Another reason they wanted a public trial was so they would have faces of jurors they could intimidate and punish. The Grand Jury is private and unknown.

Unfortunately these acts will not end. More than ever before in history is the United States been in a head-on collision with a Race War. Stoked by the Islamist, and all those profiting from keeping the fires burning and the Pot Stirring, these perceived victims will get bolder, grow in numbers, and anything can flip the switch.

As long as the Evangelical Church in America remains content with playing church, instead of being the Salt and Light Jesus said we are to be, our country will continue its downward spiral into destruction. Waiting at the bottom are the Sharpton/Jacksons, the Islamist and all the other Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/America-Hating/Freedom-Hating/Christian-Hating/Politically-Correct-Worshiping/Democrats. America as designed by God the Father through His instruments of peace, our founding fathers, will completely cease to exists. What rises from the ashes will be the totalitarian, Socialist, Tyrannical, Marxist, Saul Alinsky Designed, Cloward-Piven planned oppressive government these thugs have wanted all along.

I’m still going to fight to the end. How about you?

Ferguson Resident: ‘We are Getting Prepared for War’

By CBS Radio,

FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS St. Louis/AP) – Ferguson is “getting prepared for war” if a grand jury doesn’t indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson told CBS News he has been meeting with students, gang members and ministers about what might happen following the grand jury decision that is expected to come down this month.

“There’s a lot of fear. A lot of people are afraid of what could happen,” Johnson explained. “In the end, this is gonna be the community we have to live in.”

Ronardo Ward, 33, is one of those hoping to maintain peace in Ferguson if Wilson isn’t indicted.

“We are getting prepared for war,” Ward told CBS News. “And that’s just crazy.”

Michael Johnson, 42, believes many young people will rail against the “system.”

“There’s gonna be a lot of angry young people that’s pretty much not gonna listen to the system anymore,” Michael Johnson said. “Why should they?”comment 02

Protests have been going on for months following Brown’s death in August.

“The destruction here symbolizes this community, and how fragile and crumbled things are here,” Johnson told CBS News.comment 03

Despite the potential violence, Johnson doesn’t believe Ferguson is ready to explode if Wilson is not indicted.

“I don’t think it’s going to be as bad as people want to make it out to be, but I think there’s some tough times ahead,” Johnson stated.

Activists asked last Wednesday for advance notice before prosecutors announce whether Wilson will face charges in the shooting death of Brown, saying they can help prevent widespread violence if they have 48 hours to prepare for protests.

Members of the Don’t Shoot Coalition said at a news conference that they want to “de-escalate violence without de-escalating action” once a grand jury decides whether to indict Wilson, who is white, for the Aug. 9 shooting of Brown, who was black.

The coalition represents more than 50 organizations including union workers, clergy, anti-war activists and black empowerment groups. Its members are leaders of the protests that erupted across the region after Brown’s death and have continued in the three months since.Picture1

“Everyone around the United States and much of the world is looking at St. Louis,” said Michael McPhearson, executive director of Veterans for Peace. “There’s much anticipation as to what happens next.”

Demonstrators on Wednesday criticized the use of tear gas, riot equipment and armored vehicles by county and local police in the early days of the protests. The heavy initial response led Gov. Jay Nixon to summon the National Guard and temporarily put the Missouri Highway Patrol in charge of Ferguson crowd control.

Ed Magee, a spokesman for St. Louis County Attorney Bob McCulloch, who is overseeing the grand jury investigation, met with McPhearson and attorney Denise Lieberman earlier Wednesday and said the coalition’s request for 48 hours’ notice of a grand jury decision is “being considered.”

The grand jury was expected to hear evidence in Brown’s case until mid-November, but McCulloch said Tuesday night that its work could continue for several more weeks. Brown, 18, was unarmed when Wilson encountered him walking in the street with a friend. A scuffle ensued and Brown was shot multiple times. Witness accounts of what happened varied, with some saying they saw Brown raise his hands as if in surrender.

“After the verdict, no matter what it is, people are going to pour into the street — either in celebration or in rage,” said Montague Simmons, chairman of the Organization for Black Struggle. “It’s in the best interest of the public, the police and elected officials who control the actions of the police to work together to protect the rights of people to engage in civil disobedience and expression of their First Amendment rights of free speech and assembly.”

Organizers have created 19 “rules of engagement” they want police to follow, including calls to treat protesters as “citizens and not enemy combatants.”

County police Chief Jon Belmar earlier this week reiterated that police do not intend to impede peaceful dissent but said he wouldn’t take anything off the table when asked about the use of tear gas and other tactics.

“I have a responsibility…to make sure that everybody walks out of this on the other end,” he said.
