President Trump Responds to Woke Sell-Out Howard Stern Reportedly Losing His Radio Show (VIDEO)
By Cullen Linebarger – The Gateway Pundit – Aug 7, 2025
President Trump has officially weighed in on his former friend tuned woke sell out Howard Stern reportedly losing his radio show earlier this week. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Stern’s SiriusXM radio show is set to be axed later this year after SiriusXM decided not to renew his $100 million contract. Having built his reputation as a provocative shock jock who once eschewed political correctness, Stern took a hard left in the last decade embracing celebrities and woke politicians he once rightfully scorned while railing against President Trump and those who support him. Last year, Stern admitted that he hates whose who voted for Trump and even demanded that they refrain from listening to his show… READ MORE

CNN Poll Finds Democrat Party at Lowest Ratings in More Than 30 Years
By Cassandra MacDonald – The Gateway Pundit – Jan 19, 2025
The poll, conducted for CNN by SSRS Opinion Panel, also found that the majority of people on the right believe supporting President Donald Trump is central to being a Republican. A 58 percent majority of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents reported believing the Democrat Party needs “major changes, or to be completely reformed.” This is up from just 34 percent who said the same after the 2022 midterm elections. “Over that time, the share of Republicans and Republican leaners who feel the same way about the GOP has ticked downward, from 38% to 28%,” CNN reports… READ MORE

More than 400 acts of hostility were recorded against churches in the United States in 2024, with a sharp rise in gun-related incidents, according to a new report released by the Family Research Council.
The incidents highlighted in the group’s “Hostility against Churches in the United States” report released Monday morning ranged from vandalism and arson to gun-related threats, bomb hoaxes and physical assaults.
The Washington-based conservative Christian advocacy organization documented 415 hostile acts across 43 states, affecting 383 churches, based on open-source documents, media reports and official records. The total was slightly lower than the 485 incidents identified in 2023 but remained well above the yearly totals from 2018 through 2022. Since January 2018, the organization has tracked 1,384 incidents.
“Although the motivations for many of these incidents remain unknown, the rise in crimes against churches is taking place in a context in which fewer Americans are attending religious services or identifying with a specific faith,” the report notes.
According to Gallup data, less than a third of the U.S. population regularly attends church services, and researchers say “fewer Americans share a common understanding of what church buildings represent.”
“It is important to note that not all crimes against churches are motivated by hatred for Christianity. Some vandals appear to be motivated by financial gain through theft, while other culprits are teenagers engaging in a destructive pastime,” the report states.
“However, there are still incidents that seem to be targeting church intentionally and with malicious intent. Regardless of the perpetrator’s motives, such crimes can leave churches in physical, financial, and emotional disarray. Some churches struggle to cover the costs of repairs and fear future offenses.”
Gun-related incidents jumped from 12 in 2023 to 28 in 2024.
In one case near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a man entered Jesus’ Dwelling Place Church during a sermon and pointed a gun at the pastor before being tackled by a deacon.
In Georgia, an armed man disrupted services at three churches, filming his actions and encouraging others to join him.
In San Francisco, California, a man fired several shots at St. Augustine Catholic Church’s main doors while people were inside. In Houston, Texas, a woman wielding a long gun at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church injured two people before being shot and killed by police.
Vandalism was the most frequent offense, accounting for 284 cases. Churches reported smashed windows, destroyed statues, defaced property and theft of valuable materials such as copper wiring and air conditioning units.
In Portland, Oregon, Bethel Baptist Church, with about 25 congregants, has suffered repeated vandalism, including rocks thrown through windows and a recent attack that left the building covered in fire extinguisher chemicals.
“I don’t know who we’ve irritated. It’s baffling,” Deacon Mary Brown was quoted as saying.
In Brenham, Texas, First Christian Church had more than 15 newly restored windows shattered by rocks and bricks. Pastor Charles Topping said the damage appeared “angry, intentional” and left him “heartbroken” at the thought that someone could direct such anger toward a church and God.
Financial losses from these attacks were sometimes severe.
In San Diego, California, First Church of Christ reported an estimated $10,000 in damages when an intruder ransacked an office and ripped organ pipes from their fittings. In Oklahoma, North Peoria Church of Christ lost air conditioning units in a theft that caused $100,000 in damage.
Arson and suspected arson accounted for 55 incidents.
In Athens, Tennessee, St. Mark AME Zion Church was severely damaged after a fire destroyed its roof and interior. The suspect, who also killed church secretary Lina Buchanan before fleeing, was arrested after being identified on security footage.
Believer’s Joy Worship in Jacksonville, Florida, was set ablaze by a woman the congregation had previously tried to help during her mental health struggles, with flames reaching 30 feet before firefighters brought them under control.
In Ohio, four churches in two neighboring counties were destroyed in a four-month span; investigators believe the same individual was responsible.
There were 14 bomb threats, most of them hoaxes.
In Cocoa, Florida, two churches received packages claiming to contain explosives, accompanied by notes citing political grievances, including opposition to “wokism,” taxes, and the war in Ukraine. Security cameras helped identify the suspect, who was arrested.
Forty-seven incidents fell into an “other” category, covering physical assaults and disruptions that did not match other classifications.
In Louisville, Kentucky, a man broke into Zion Baptist Church and attacked a staff member with a hammer before police arrived. In Hudson, New York, a masked man in a long black cloak entered St. Mary’s Church during Sunday mass, shouted “All hail,” and held a glass bottle over his head before being restrained by congregants.
Recorded motives varied.
Incidents linked to pro-abortion sentiments dropped to two in 2024 from 11 in 2023. Anti-LGBT incidents fell from 42 in 2023 to 33, often involving theft of pride flags from churches that supported LGBT causes. Satanic-themed incidents decreased from 12 in 2023 to one in 2024.
In Portland, Oregon, a church was spray-painted with obscenities and the phrase “My body, my choice.”
June saw the highest number of incidents, with about 22% related to LGBT issues, while the lowest levels occurred from September to November. California recorded the most incidents at 40, followed by Pennsylvania with 29, Florida and New York with 25 each, Texas with 23, and Tennessee and Ohio with 19 each.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, who served as chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom during President Trump’s first term, said the report shows “religious freedom faces substantial threats here at home.”
“We applaud the efforts of the Trump administration, but efforts must be taken at every level of government to protect and promote this fundamental human right,” Perkins said. “Christians must expect and demand more from their government leaders when it comes to prosecuting and preventing criminal acts targeting religious freedom.”
The Left’s Safe Space: Where Consequences Go to Die
Let’s start with a universal truth: Leftism is the only ideology where you can openly fantasize about punching Nazis (read: anyone right of Karl Marx) while simultaneously clutching your pearls if someone dares to disagree with you. Ah Leftism: the magical realm where hypocrisy isn’t just tolerated—it’s celebrated.
“She’s not that bad.”
Really? The classic conservative cop-out.
Take my recent conversation with a conservative friend who, like many, has adopted the “live and let live” approach to his Leftist acquaintances. His reasoning? “She’s not that bad.”
She only wants to dismantle the nuclear family, not the entire Western legal system. She only supports Antifa when they’re firebombing federal buildings, not when they’re (allegedly) firebombing your federal building.
This is the modern Democrat Party in a nutshell: a coalition of useful idiots who’ve convinced themselves that their side is merely “passionate” while the other side is “violent extremists.” But let’s be real—when was the last time you saw a conservative hunt down a Leftist in the streets? Meanwhile, Antifa’s resume includes shooting at ICE officers and ambushing cops. But sure, both sides.
The Myth of the ‘Reasonable’ Leftist
My friend’s argument hinges on the idea that his Leftist pal isn’t “one of the bad ones.” She just posts memes about conservatives being fascists—harmless stuff, really. But here’s the rub: silence is complicity. If she’s not actively condemning the worst of her side (spoiler: she’s not), then she’s enabling it.
Brigitte Macron: A Case Study in Leftist Absurdity
Speaking of delusion, let’s talk about France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron. Two women were acquitted after being sued for claiming Brigitte was born male. Now, one of them is turning the tables and suing her for fraud.
The rumor? Brigitte is actually Macron’s father, who transitioned. Now, I don’t care if Macron married a sentient baguette—just own it. But Leftists can’t handle the truth. They’d rather litigate it into oblivion.
Astroturfing 101: How the Left Manufactures ‘Grassroots’ Outrage
Then there’s Zohran Mamdani, the New York socialist who—shockingly—isn’t actually supported by New Yorkers.
*“Once more, with feeling (and for about the 1000th time): There are NO grassroots movements on the Left. It’s ALL top-down, astroturf funding and organizing. BREAKING: Campaign finance records reveal 72% of Zohran Mamdani’s campaign cash came from out-of-state donors — not local supporters. His donors? Hollywood elites and tech billionaires.”*
Even John Fetterman—a man who dresses like he’s perpetually mid-Napoleon Dynamite cosplay—called Mamdani out for not being a “real Democrat.” The Left is so fractured they’re eating their own. And this is before the 2024 election cycle, where we’ll undoubtedly uncover a decade’s worth of Leftist election “irregularities.”
The Conservative Conundrum: Why We Lose by Playing Nice
Here’s the kicker: Leftists post their insanity because they can. There are no consequences. Meanwhile, conservatives self-censor because we actually have jobs to lose. The asymmetry is the point.
So the next time a Leftist friend posts some inane drivel about “fascist Republicans,” ask them: Are you cool with Antifa’s violence? The persecution of the unvaxxed? The fact that your ‘movement’ is bankrolled by coastal elites? Watch them squirm.
Because at the end of the day, the only thing worse than Leftist idiocy is conservative silence in the face of it.
Final Thought: The Left isn’t just wrong—they’re dangerously stupid. And until conservatives start treating them like the existential threat they are, we’ll keep losing. So speak up. Or get ready to live in their delusional world.

Depressed girl with a sad expression leaning on a dirty old wall
On August 7, 2025, CBS News aired a four-minute interview between correspondent Debora Patta and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. What viewers saw was a diplomat appearing defensive and dismissive on Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. What they didn’t see were entire sections of the conversation that dismantled Hamas propaganda, exposed massive aid theft, and debunked false reports. Those parts were cut, and the edits all tilted in the same direction—away from Israel’s defense and toward Hamas’s narrative.
How CBS Framed the “Starving Children” Question
CBS aired Patta asking Huckabee about images of starving children, with him responding that people in Gaza are suffering because Hamas has blocked food from reaching them. What they removed was his insistence that such images must be verified, along with examples of false or recycled photos used in media reports—including one from Yemen, one from 2017, and another staged scene. Stripped of that context, his answer looked like a brush-off instead of a demand for factual accuracy.
The $500 Million Hamas Food Theft Story That Vanished
During the interview, Huckabee explained that Hamas made half a billion dollars in 2024 by stealing humanitarian food shipments, selling them on the black market, and inflating prices to starving civilians. He relayed reports from aid recipients who, for the first time, didn’t have to pay Hamas for food. This section never made it to air, eliminating one of the most damaging accusations against Hamas’s leadership.
The Hoax That Made Headlines Worldwide
CBS also cut Huckabee’s account of a false report claiming 27 people were killed at a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation site. He said video footage showed no one was injured, yet major outlets like The New York Times, The Washington Post, BBC, and CNN all ran the story before quietly issuing small corrections. Without this example, CBS left viewers thinking his skepticism about casualty numbers was unfounded.
Trimming the Genocide Rebuttal
In the aired version, Huckabee was shown saying that if Israel were attempting genocide, they were “really, really bad at it” and could have done it on October 8. Missing was his full argument: that Israel has the capability to destroy Gaza in days but has not done so, making the genocide claim absurd on its face. Cutting that portion removed the logic behind his position, leaving only a quip.
Erasing His View on Hamas Negotiations
The CBS segment did not include the start of the interview, where Huckabee dismissed the idea of further negotiations with Hamas, calling them unserious and brutal. He described their history of murdering their own people and continuing to torture hostages. Omitting this removed his broader point about why Hamas control in Gaza must end for any lasting stability.
Ending on CBS’s Rebuttal, Not Huckabee’s Question
In one of the most telling moments, Huckabee asked critics of Israel, “How many countries who are in the middle of a war are expected to feed the enemies who murdered their people?” Instead of airing his follow-up or letting the question resonate, CBS immediately cut to Patta invoking Article 55 of the Geneva Convention, declaring that Israel, as an occupying force, must provide food and medical supplies. This framing gave CBS the last word and left viewers with the impression that Huckabee’s point was legally and morally invalid without giving him a chance to respond.
Why These Edits Matter
Every cut in this interview weakened the case against Hamas and softened the reality of their crimes. CBS’s version downplayed Hamas’s exploitation of civilians, ignored documented instances of misinformation, and stripped away Israel’s moral defense. This wasn’t neutral editing for time—it was selective editing to fit an anti-Israel narrative.
The Larger Impact on Public Opinion
When mainstream outlets shape interviews this way, they do more than misrepresent a single official. They distort the public’s understanding of a war, influence international opinion, and embolden terrorist organizations by shielding them from scrutiny. In a conflict where propaganda is as powerful as rockets, these editorial decisions have real-world consequences.
The Full Transcript Tells a Different Story
Huckabee was right to release the full transcript. Anyone reading it will see that his remarks were detailed, evidence-based, and supported by real examples. The contrast with CBS’s broadcast is stark and should concern anyone who values honest journalism, regardless of political affiliation.
Closing Thoughts
Selective editing isn’t just a bad habit—it’s an act of narrative control. In this case, it protected Hamas from public accountability and undermined an American ally. Viewers deserve the full truth, not a version filtered to fit a political agenda.
Biden DHS raised red flags over Tim Walz’s China ties, new docs show
By Melissa O’Rourke – AlphaNewa.org – Aug 6, 2025

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. Sacramento State is one of the many California state universities that offer a four-year program of education. It tends to be a little bit more pragmatic for teacher education, business, and agriculture than are the UC campuses, the nine UCs. And Sac State, as we call it, is near UC Davis. They’re kind of twin—University of California and State University—campuses.
They have a new president, fairly new—he has been there about a year. Dr. Luke Wood came from UC San Diego, as I remember. And he was famous, in that area, as a black educator who advocated a particular approach to the education, K-12 and college, of black students. And I guess you would call it “a rejection of white standards.” In other words, he believed that black students on test scores or GPA or by traditional criteria were not competitive with other groups because this method of evaluation was intrinsically biased or racist, or did not take into account historical disparities, Jim Crow or slavery, etc.
And so, therefore, he called this term, I think, “blacklighting”— kind of a play on “gaslighting”—that the way white people spoke about student achievement was intrinsically insulting to black students or had the effect of discouraging them. And therefore, you had to have a different type of vocabulary, a different type of approach for black students, in a way you wouldn’t for other students.
This is not gonna work. We have tried that for 50 or 60 years. And we’ve seen that the Great Society specialization and fixation on race did not work. It increased separatism, distrust, racial tensions. And I think we’ve seen that, in the last four or five years, reach a zenith with diversity, equity, and inclusion.
But here’s my point. Dr. Luke Wood just gave an interview to a conservative black radio host, podcaster host, in which he said he wanted to “eliminate whiteness.” He was pressed on that question very effectively. And he said, “Well, you wanna eliminate whiteness, but then that comes from white people. So, if you want to eliminate the manifestation of white people, do you want to eliminate white people?” He said, “No.”
But he found himself in a dilemma, a rhetorical dilemma, an analytical dilemma, because if you apply that logic and you say, “I want to eliminate blackness,” what does that mean? You don’t wanna eliminate blacks. If you say, “I want to eliminate Jewishness,” does that mean you wanna eliminate Jews?
So, what did he mean? He couldn’t define whiteness when he was pressed. Apparently, what he was trying to refer to—and I don’t think he had the knowledge or the historical background or the analytical skills to explain what he meant—but he’s talking about the dominant culture in the United States. And he associates that with “whiteness” because the Founders, of course, were 95% white.
The Founders came from a British empirical, enlightened tradition. But in fact, they were just one offshoot of a larger Western tradition, a Western tradition that began with olive-colored Greeks and olive-colored Italians in Rome. And it transmogrified into Europe. After the end of the Roman Empire, it was enhanced during the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the British/Scottish Enlightenments, the transference of Western culture to America under the Constitution.
What was it? It was an independent judiciary. It was a constitutional government. Tripartite: legislative, executive, judicial. It was an emphasis on individual inquiry, free thought. The separation from religious thought and government or the tolerance for free speech. The Bill of Rights. The free market system. The ability to make money in a capitalist free enterprise system. The idea that the military is separate from the government.
All of these ingredients were created in Rome and Greece—enhanced, modified, rejection, reappearing again during these various stages of Western thought. And then they were transferred to the modern world, and most prominently with our Founders.
But it’s not connected with “whiteness” necessarily. It doesn’t matter. It transcends its skin. It’s the only culture in the world in which you can be Chinese American, you can be black American, you can be Hispanic American, and you can be as Western as anybody else. It’s not predicated on white.
So, he associates this with whiteness. And he does that because he can’t define it. What would he say the dominant culture of America is if it’s not Western? I don’t think he can make that distinction.
In fact, African Americans are as Western as anybody. It’s just a matter of choice. Do you want to believe in consensual government or not? Do you believe in free enterprise or not? Do you believe in free speech or not? Do you believe in the separation of religious authority and secular authority or not? Do you believe in the Enlightenment and rationalism, empiricism, disinterested inquiry or not?
What’s really dangerous is that you have a president at a major university here in California—Cal State, Sacramento—who says he wants to “eliminate whiteness.” He’s trying to inaugurate a black scholars program.
This is in the age of post-DEI, in a very reactionary, retrograde approach, that you’re going to single out particular groups and you’re going to emphasize particular plans, programs based on the color of their skin at a time when we’re all trying to transcend it because when we have done that, it didn’t work. It created tensions rather than alleviated them. It created suspicion and distrust rather than ending such things. It’s a retrograde tribal thought that goes back to pre-civilizational ideas.
Whiteness, Dr. Wood, whiteness is Western civilization. Blackness is Western civilization. Hispanics are Western civilization. It’s a choice of the mind. It’s not the color of your skin. We are Western in this country. You call it “whiteness” because you’re angry, because you perceive particular discriminations or unfairness in the system.
The system says to you, “Everybody is equal under the law, only in the United States. They’re free to do what they want. If people are systematically racist or prejudicial, it’s a self-correcting legal system.” But what we do not want to do is emphasize pre-civilizational ideas that the color of our skin matters more than the content of our character and race is absolutely essential to what we are rather than just incidental.
In my forthcoming book, Rage and the Republic: The Unfinished Story of the American Revolution, I explore how the American republic can survive in the 21st Century given unprecedented economic, technological, and political changes. The book addresses the increasing calls for a universal basic income (UBI). Various Democratic cities are already implementing UBI systems. Now, a new study finds (as did some prior studies) that UBI systems have not achieved significant improvements and may actually have some negative consequences for recipients.
A working paper with the National Bureau of Economic Research shows that UBI recipients did indeed spend more money, including a 13 percent increase on child-related expenses. There was also a slight increase in parental supervision of children. However, there was no improved school performance and a slight increase in reported developmental and stress-related problems with children. Stanford’s Basic Income Lab is tracking more than 160 UBI projects in the U.S.
So far, the results are at best mixed. One study in Compton showed that many recipients of the $500 monthly payment quit working part-time jobs. Likewise, reports indicate that “a $400 monthly payment in Chelsea, Massachusetts, increased food spending and did not measurably reduce work, but it failed to produce results for the research team’s “primary downstream outcomes”—namely self-reported health and child school attendance.”
This follows earlier reports about the OpenResearch Unconditional Income Study (ORUS), an experiment in which lower-income Americans were given $1,000 a month for three years. The result was a reduction in work and an increase in leisure activities. There was also an increase in spending on health care but not an increase in health outcomes.
It is still early in studying these outcomes, but these programs are not showing the downstream benefits predicted by some. Indeed, they may be impacting work hours negatively for recipients in some areas. As various cities like New York move toward socialist candidates and programs, these studies offer a cautionary tale as officials push UBI payments.
Democrats in Georgia have lost their effort to block two Republican commissioners from sitting on Fulton County’s Board of Elections because of their political views. What is most striking about this effort was not just the raw partisanship but the utter lack of legal authority of Democrats to refuse to recognize the duly selected GOP members.
For months, the board has blocked two Republican nominees: Jason Frazier and Julie Adams. Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington declared that “I think the Republican party ought to take a look at their people and not nominate people that are on the far right and nominate people that are in the center.”
While self-proclaimed defenders of democracy often seem to have no qualms about curtailing democratic choices from ballot cleansing to jurisdiction flight, this is particularly raw and outrageous. There is no law supporting this action and the state law is clear on the need to seat the GOP commissioners. Under the state law, two members are appointed by the Democratic party, two are appointed by the Republican party, and a chairperson is selected by the Fulton Commissioners.
On Monday, Fulton County Superior Court Senior Judge David Emerson crushed the claims by the majority that they possessed a veto over GOP commissioners despite the law saying that the commissioners “shall” be seated. It is difficult to see how any competent lawyer would support this legal claim.
Emerson stated the obvious that the Fulton County Commission did “not have the discretion to disapprove an otherwise qualified nominee.” The court points out that higher courts have repeatedly rejected the argument of the Board that “shall” does not mean “shall.” Instead, they claimed that it is merely “directive” and allows them to choose who the other party will sit on the board.
The frivolous character of the Board position is captured in this line: “The court also notes that the appointment statute contains no provision to support the respondents’ position that it should have the power to veto any given nominee and force the county chairperson to submit other nominees.”
The two challenged commissioners have been denounced as far right or “election deniers” by Democrats. In other words, the commissioners are claiming that they can bar members based on their political views to force the GOP to select commissioners that they consider acceptable. Commissioner Mo Ivory insisted in the board’s meeting that “It’s not possible to work with folks trying to sow discord and chaos”
Judge Emerson had enough, writing that “the lack of these appointments harms the election process and deprives the nominating party of representation on the BOE.”

Democrats are struggling to convince the public that they are outraged that there is gerrymandering afoot in Texas. It is no easy task, particularly after Texas Democrats selected Illinois as their sanctuary state, a state considered the most gerrymandered in the country. Trump received 45 percent of the vote in the state, but Republicans have only 14 percent of the congressional seats. Even the New York Times admitted that gerrymandering has favored Democrats across the nation. However, the winner of the Claude Rains award must be Marc Elias, who has expressed disgust over the notion of gerrymandering despite the fact that his group was denounced by courts for outrageous gerrymandering efforts.
The origin of the term was based on re-districting associated with Elbridge Gerry, a Founding Father, vice president, and governor of Massachusetts. He signed off on a district designed to guarantee a seat for the precursor of today’s Democratic Party. The district resembled a salamander, so the Boston Gazette deemed it the “Gerry-mander.”
That effort pales in comparison to what was done in Illinois to deny Republicans a fair share of congressional seats. This is the Illinois map:
The 13th congressional district stretches from East St. Louis to Springfield, 90 miles away. It then takes a sharp turn east to grab Decatur and Champaign. This monstrosity was approved by Democrats who are now insisting that they will respond to Texas with a gerrymander war, as if they were political pacifists until a few days ago.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker portrayed his party as the victim of conniving pols and pledged to respond in kind. Yet, it was Pritzker who approved the redistricting that guaranteed that, while Republicans represent almost half of the voters, they will receive less than twenty percent of the congressional seats.
The same is true in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom is also pledging to retaliate despite previously engaging in rampant gerrymandering. Republicans constituted roughly 40 percent of the congressional vote in 2024 but received only about 17 percent of the House seats. Across the country in 17 blue states, the Dems won 56.7 percent of the popular House vote but secured 143 of the 185 House seats — 77.7 percent. New York has achieved that same enhanced democratic representations despite the fact that Trump received 45 percent of the vote. Republicans are confined to a small handful of districts.
I have long opposed gerrymandering by both parties. However, the claims of disgust and outrage by Democrats border on the comical.
(MSNBC/via YouTube)
That brings us to Marc Elias, who is again trying to raise clients and donations off the outrage.
Elias has not only been sanctioned in past litigation, but past courts have also criticized his group. In Maryland, Elias filed in support of an abusive gerrymandering of the election districts that a court found violated not only Maryland law but the state constitution’s equal protection, free speech and free elections clauses. The court found that the map pushed by Elias “subverts the will of those governed.”
Elias is currently looking at a likely demand for testimony in the new grand jury investigation into the Russian conspiracy. He featured prominently in the filings of Special Counsel John Durham. It was Elias who made the key funding available to Fusion GPS, which in turn enlisted Steele to produce his now discredited dossier on Trump and his campaign. During the campaign, reporters did ask about the possible connection to the campaign, but Clinton campaign officials denied any involvement. Weeks after the election, journalists discovered that the Clinton campaign hid payments for the Steele dossier as “legal fees” among the $5.6 million paid to Perkins Coie.
It was not just reporters who asked the Clinton campaign about its role in the Steele dossier. John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman, was questioned by Congress and categorically denied any contractual agreement with Fusion GPS. Sitting beside him was Elias, who reportedly said nothing to correct the misleading information given to Congress.
With the likes of Marc Elias leading the cause against gerrymandering, the Democrats have reached a level of hypocrisy that knows no equal.
For the public, this growing war should support a movement to put an end to gerrymandering by all parties. Politicians will then have to look to voters, not maps to maintain their power.
Democrat Rep. Delia Ramirez (D., Ill.) is locked into a fierce fight with the White House over controversial remarks at the second annual Panamerican Congress held in Mexico, including declaring, “I’m a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.” Ramirez does not deny making the remarks but insists that there is a double standard for “my white colleagues [who] identify as Irish-American, Italian-American, or Ukrainian-American to honor their ancestry.” Ramirez was also criticized for her criticism of the United States as being “addicted to war” and threatening the world with its “imperialism, militarization, conquest, control, competition in its attempt at domination.”
The White House criticized Ramirez as well as the appearance of other high-profile Squad members, Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA): “These Democrats’ comments are despicable and underscore their commitment to putting Americans last.”
The comments of Ramirez have clearly struck a nerve on both sides. For my part, I am very proud of both my Irish-Sicilian background. My Sicilian grandparents came to this country at the turn of the century. They were deeply proud of their heritage but always insisted that their children identify as Americans first and foremost. As I discuss in my forthcoming book, Rage and the Republic: The Unfinished Story of the American Revolution (Simon & Schuster 2026), we share a common identity of a people who are joined by core principles of liberty and individual rights. This country is unique because it is composed largely of people who came here to embrace a new identity of shared values.
I was surprised that Ramirez did not simply say that ranking was a poor choice of words. There is a difference between calling oneself a Guatemalan-American and saying that you are Guatemalan first and an American second. She has often publicly discussed how she is “the wife of a DACA recipient. I am the daughter of Guatemalan working immigrants,” including a mother who crossed the Rio Grande while pregnant. It is a harrowing story of many who came to this country to seek a new identity and a better life. My grandparents came to this country in the filthy hold of a wooden ship where immigrants died and two gave birth. What drove them was the promise of a new start in a nation based on freedom and opportunity. This country has never had prouder Americans.
The anger over Ramirez is not about how she defines herself, but about what it is to be an American. It is a shared identity, an article of faith that defines us all. That does not mean that Ramirez does not love this country. You can criticize this country and still love it. However, she should also realize how her ranking insults many citizens who cherish their heritage but embrace their core identity as Americans.

OUTRAGEOUS: Leftist Heckles Hollywood Star Sydney Sweeney, Calls Her “RACIST” for Promoting American Eagle Jeans (VIDEO)
By Jim Hoft – The Gateway Pundit – August 4, 2025
Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, is the latest target of the radical left’s cancel crusade. On July 23, American Eagle launched its bold fall denim campaign starring Sydney Sweeney. The ad plays on a pun: “genes” versus “jeans,” with Sweeney famously crossing out “genes” to replace it with “jeans.” In a voiceover, she says, “Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue. That wordplay was all it took to send the far left into a full-blown meltdown. Some accused the ad of echoing eugenics and white supremacist beauty ideals, citing her blonde hair and blue eyes as part of a subliminal message. A Kean University professor even likened the pun to rhetoric straight out of the American eugenics movement. READ MORE

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) is taking a hardline stance against Democrat lawmakers who fled the state in a brazen attempt to block Republican-led congressional redistricting efforts. The Democrats, who abruptly left Texas for Illinois, sought to break quorum and prevent a special legislative session from moving forward—a move that would secure five additional GOP House seats. This isn’t the first time Texas Democrats have pulled such a stunt; in 2021, they similarly fled to Washington, D.C., to obstruct election integrity laws. But this time, Abbott isn’t backing down.
“Real Texans do not run from a fight,” Abbott declared in a scathing statement. “Rather than doing their job and voting on urgent legislation affecting the lives of all Texans, they have fled Texas to deprive the House of the quorum necessary to meet and conduct business.”
The governor made it clear that this was no innocent absence but a “premeditated” scheme to derail legislative proceedings. “Democrats hatched a deliberate plan not to show up for work, for the specific purpose of abdicating the duties of their office and thwarting the chamber’s business,” he said. “That amounts to an abandonment or forfeiture of an elected state office.”
Abbott warned that under Texas Attorney General Opinion No. KP-0382, he has the authority to remove lawmakers who abandon their posts, declaring, “For any member who fails to [return], I will invoke Texas Attorney General Opinion No. KP-0382 to remove the missing Democrats from membership in the Texas House.” The opinion states that legislators who intentionally break quorum may be deemed to have vacated their seats, opening the door for Abbott to appoint replacements.
But the consequences could go even further. Abbott suggested that some Democrats may have committed felonies by soliciting funds to evade fines for their dereliction of duty. “Any Democrat who ‘solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept’ such funds to assist in the violation of legislative duties or for purposes of skipping a vote may have violated bribery laws,” he warned, citing Texas Penal Code § 36.02. He also vowed to use his extradition powers to bring any potential out-of-state lawbreakers back to Texas to face justice.
While the liberal media rushes to paint these runaway Democrats as courageous underdogs standing against so-called “voter suppression,” the reality is far different. This is nothing more than a desperate ploy to avoid fair elections and maintain power at all costs. Their actions undermine democracy by refusing to participate in the legislative process, proving once again that the left only respects democracy when it serves their agenda.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has praised Abbott’s strong leadership, reaffirming the need for bold, decisive action to protect election integrity. “The Democrats are terrified of fair maps because they know they can’t win without cheating,” Trump said in a recent statement. “Governor Abbott is doing exactly what’s needed to stop their games.”
It seems to me that the only way some of the fleeing Democrats can avoid bribery charges is to not break quorum.
It seems that would eliminate any potential quid pro quo connected to any payment they received to deny a quorum and skip a vote. https://t.co/eyTbgybLvW
As the battle over redistricting heats up, one thing is clear: Texas Republicans won’t be bullied into surrender. The Democrats’ latest stunt only highlights their willingness to sabotage democracy rather than face the will of the voters.
Frustration mounts as seemingly constant Canadian wildfire smoke plagues Minnesota

Will You Be Voting In Person November 3rd?
Minnesota is once again under an air quality alert due to Canadian wildfire smoke traveling east over the northern United States. The current air quality alert was issued Tuesday and will be in place until Saturday evening. According to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), the entire state’s air quality is considered unhealthy for everyone. The MPCA recommends reducing outdoor activities. In recent years, hazy skies and bad air have plagued Minnesota throughout summertime. The seemingly constant smokiness has become a major frustration for Minnesotans who would like to enjoy the state’s beautiful outdoors but are faced with awful conditions. READ MORE

A.F. The disastrous handling of California’s wildfire recovery has left countless residents homeless and furious, with Hollywood legend Mel Gibson now leading the charge against Governor Gavin Newsom’s incompetence. At a recent gathering of displaced Californians, Gibson didn’t hold back, accusing Newsom of pushing the same exploitative “Maui plan” that forced locals out of Lahaina after the fires. “Newsom wants to do the Maui plan—there aren’t any more locals living there anymore. They all had to leave town,” Gibson declared, echoing the growing suspicion that corrupt officials are using disasters to seize land and push their radical agendas.
The crowd’s response was electric, with chants of “Mel for governor!” erupting as Gibson called for federal oversight of the billions in relief funds Newsom is demanding. “Now Gavin has asked for 40 billion of federal dollars to do whatever he has in mind. Why would we trust him with that kind of funding?” Gibson rightly questioned. “Along with that federal money should come a federal investigation.” His words cut through the liberal media’s usual silence on Democrat failures, exposing how California’s leadership has abandoned its people while lining their own pockets.
Meanwhile, the rebuilding process drags on at a snail’s pace—a deliberate delay, many believe, to pressure desperate residents into selling their land. Gibson’s bold stance highlights what the mainstream media refuses to report: that under Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Californians are being betrayed. “Do you think the people of the Palisades or Altadena are going to be consulted about how their areas are reimagined by Newsom and Bass?” Gibson challenged, pointing to the top-down authoritarianism that has come to define Democrat rule.
While the left-wing press ignores this crisis, President Donald Trump has repeatedly called out California’s mismanagement, pledging to restore accountability if re-elected. Unlike the Biden administration, which funnels taxpayer money into Newsom’s failing schemes, Trump has vowed to ensure federal aid actually reaches victims—not corrupt politicians. “We need to see what’s happening with our money, with our federal dollars,” Gibson demanded, echoing the frustration of millions. “California deserves leadership that does more than acknowledge a problem. It deserves leaders who take real, meaningful steps towards addressing these threats to our community.”

The Department of Justice official who signed off on $2 million in taxpayer-funded payments to disgraced Russia collusion hoax participants left the Department of Justice to help lead the “legal resistance” to President Donald Trump and other duly elected Republicans, new records reviewed exclusively by The Federalist reveal.
FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, sued the Department of Justice over the release of messages detailing their role in pushing the Clinton campaign’s Russia collusion hoax. They said the release of the messages that were written using government resources violated their privacy. The Biden administration rewarded the duo with lucrative payouts. Strozk received $1.2 million in taxpayer funds while Page received an $800,000 settlement.
“[W]e have identified Brian Netter, Deputy Assistant Attorney General as the individual that approved the settlement agreements,” a DOJ official told the Center to Advance Security in America, which had filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2024, when the payouts were publicly announced. Netter was the deputy assistant attorney general for the Federal Programs Branch during the term of President Joe Biden.
Netter currently serves as the legal director at Democracy Forward, a Democrat Party-affiliated group launched in 2017 to fight President Trump with lawfare. The group brags that it took Trump to court more than 100 times in his first term in office. It has continued its use of the courts to win political battles into his second term in office. “Liberal Legal Group Positions Itself as a Top Trump Administration Foe,” touted The New York Times last November.
Marc Elias, the attorney known for his work damaging the integrity of both the 2016 and 2020 elections, chairs the board of Democracy Forward. Elias, as the Clinton campaign general counsel, signed the checks for her campaign’s Russia collusion hoax. To hide the Russia collusion hoax’s origins, the funding was fraudulently run through Elias’s law firm as “legal services.” Clinton was fined only $113,000 for the false claims she made to hide her role. Elias also ran Democrats’ legal effort to destabilize the 2020 elections with the sudden expansion of unsupervised mail-in balloting operations staffed by Democrat-run nonprofit groups.
Other current and recent board members of Netter’s group include former Clinton campaign manager John Podesta, former Biden Chief of Staff Ronald Klain, Kamala Harris’ sister Maya Harris, and former leader of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Mindy Myers.
Netter worked for Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice from 2021 through early 2025. He opposed then-former President Trump’s motion for a preliminary injunction to block National Archives releases to the January 6 committee, a lawfare committee comprised only of members appointed by then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Netter married Democrat lawyer and activist Karen Dunn in a ceremony officiated by Garland in 2009. Dunn, who played a key role in the Hillary Clinton campaign and was widely considered a likely White House Counsel if Hillary Clinton won her 2016 presidential campaign, specializes in Democrat debate preparation. She co-led President Barack Obama’s presidential debate preparation team for his re-election campaign and led presidential debate preparation for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Kamala Harris in 2024. In 2020, she led the preparation of Kamala Harris for the vice presidential debate.
Dunn started a law firm with Jeannie Rhee, one of the attorneys who worked on perpetuating the Russia collusion hoax through the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation. The firm hired Mueller alumnus Rush Atkinson as well.
Dunn clerked for Garland when he was on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and for Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court. Netter also clerked for Breyer and Judge Judith Rogers on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
Congressional overseers were upset by the reward given to the hoaxers and demanded to know who signed off on them. They were thwarted by officials who said they didn’t know who had authorized the payments, and declined to respond to Congressional inquiries to find out.
“The American people are rightly concerned about the Biden Administration’s targeting of conservatives while their political allies were given special treatment,” said James Fitzpatrick, director of the Center to Advance Security in America. “These settlements are a prime example of the outrageous abuse of power endured by the American people under Joe Biden.”
Netter did not respond to a request for comment by publication time.
President Donald Trump announced Friday he is ordering two nuclear submarines to be positioned near Russia after “provocative statements” from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
“Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that,”Trump wrote on his Truth Social page. “Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
After Trump on Monday said he was reducing a deadline for Russia to agree to a Ukraine peace settlement from 50 days to 10 or 12 days, Medvedev wrote on X that Trump was playing “the ultimatum game” and that such an approach could lead to war.

Medvedev said in a post on the Telegram platform Thursday cautioned Trump to keep in mind “his favorite films about the ‘walking dead,'” and referred to the Soviet Union’s system for launching a last-ditch, automatic nuclear strike. It was not clear whether his comment referred to the apocalyptic American TV show “The Walking Dead.”
The Pentagon typically doesn’t announce the deployment of nuclear submarines because they are often on secret missions surveilling Russian and Chinese submarines, Politico reported.
Trump did not say whether he is positioning submarines that are capable of launching nuclear strikes.
Below is my column in Fox.com on the release of the last declassified material on the origins of the Russian collusion investigation. After the release, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper wrote in the New York Times insisted that they never relied on the Steele dossier. The column only reaffirmed the level of dishonesty and duplicity that marked their tenures in office. (The Times still printed this claim despite being demonstrably untrue).
The documents quote Brennan in overruling career analysts and intervening to include the dossier in the intelligence assessment. Moreover, the column echoes the media spin that the investigation was about an attempted Russian interference while dismissing the collusion claim that consumed much of the first term. (Even after leaving office, Brennan continued to push the false collusion claim). Both countries routinely hacked each other’s emails — that is why we have the most recent incriminating evidence on the Clinton campaign’s funding and spreading the false collusion claims. We hacked their emails. We have also regularly tried to influence the elections of other nations. The key to the dossier and the Russian investigation was the allegation of collusion and the central role of the Clinton campaign in creating the narrative that Trump was a Russian asset.
Here is the column:
This week, Washington was rocked by new releases in the declassification of material related to the origins of the Russian investigation. The material shows further evidence of a secret plan by the Clinton campaign to use the FBI and media to spread a false claim that Donald Trump was a Russian asset. With this material, the public is finally seeing how officials and reporters set into motion what may be the greatest hoax ever perpetrated in American politics. There never was a Russian collusion conspiracy. This is the emerging story of the real Russian conspiracy to manufacture a false narrative that succeeded in devouring much of the first term of the Trump Administration.
What is emerging in these documents is a political illusion carefully constructed by government officials and a willing media. The brilliance of the trick was getting reporters to buy into the illusion; to own it like members of an audience called to the stage by an illusionist.
The effort closely followed the three steps of the classic magic trick: The Pledge, The Turn, and The Prestige.
The Pledge
The trick began with the pledge, the stage where the public is set up by showing ordinary events with the suggestion that it is about to transform into something extraordinary. The key is to make something seem real that is actually not.
The Clinton campaign delivered the pledge by secretly funding the Steele dossier, using Fusion GPS and a former British spy named Christopher Steele, to create a salacious account of Trump being an agent of Russia. New emails state that Hillary Clinton personally approved the operation.
It was Elias who was the general counsel to the Clinton presidential campaign when it funded the infamous Steele dossier and pushed the false Alfa Bank conspiracy. (His fellow Perkins Coie partner, Michael Sussmann, was indicted but acquitted in a criminal trial.)
Later, John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman, appeared before Congress for questioning on the Steele dossier. Podesta emphatically denied any contractual agreement with Fusion GPS. Sitting beside him was Elias, who reportedly said nothing to correct the misleading information given to Congress.
The FEC ultimately sanctioned the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee over the handling of the funding of the dossier through his prior firm.
The Turn
The next step is the turning point when the ordinary becomes something extraordinary. This required the involvement of the government. The Clinton team worked behind the scenes to feed the dossier to the FBI. It would be the criminal investigation that would transform the ordinary accounts, like Carter Page speaking in Moscow, into an elaborate Russian plot. Even though the FBI was warned early on that Page was a CIA asset, not a Russian asset, the Clinton team found eager officials in the Obama Administration to assist in the illusion.
The newly disclosed evidence shows how the turn was made. In July 2016, Brennan briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s “plan” to tie then-candidate Trump to Russia as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.” The original Russia investigation — funded by Clinton’s campaign — was launched days after this briefing.
Months later, it would be Brennan who overruled his own CIA analysts in his ordering of a second last-minute assessment at the end of the Obama Administration in support of the Russian allegations. It would help make the turn with the all-consuming Russian investigation that would follow.
Career analysts were not buying the turn. They objected that the reliance on the Steele dossier “ran counter to fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment.” One CIA analyst told investigators that “[Brennan] refused to remove it, and when confronted with the dossier’s main flaws, [Brennan] responded, ‘Yes, but doesn’t it ring true?’”
That is the key to the turn; it needs only to be enough to fool the audience.
The Prestige
The final stage is called the Prestige, where the magician faces the toughest part of the trick. As explained in the 2006 movie “The Prestige,” the viewer is “looking for the secret… but you won’t find it, because of course you’re not really looking. You don’t really want to know. You want to be fooled.” However, “making something disappear isn’t enough; you have to bring it back.”
The difference is that this trick was designed to derail Trump and it worked. In the end, however, the Special Counsel and Inspector General both rejected the Russian collusion claims. The public then reelected Trump. Now, the prestige may be revealed by the CIA.
Reports indicate that the CIA is about to declassify material showing that foreign sources were also in on the trick. The information reportedly indicates that foreign sources were aware of the move to create a Russian collusion scandal and expected that the FBI would play a role in the plan. That was before the bureau launched its controversial Crossfire Hurricane probe. One source said the foreign intelligence predicted the move “with alarming specificity.”
The most recently declassified material shows that the Russian actors in 2016 hacked emails from the Open Society Foundations, formerly known as the Soros Foundation. The emails reveal a broader network of activists and allies who were aware of the Clinton conspiracy.
Leonard Bernardo, who was the regional director for Eurasia at the Open Society Foundations, explained that “during the first stage of the campaign, due to lack of direct evidence, it was decided to disseminate the necessary information through the FBI-affiliated…from where the information would then be disseminated through leading U.S. publications.”
Bernardo added, “Julie (Clinton Campaign Advisor) says it will be a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump. Now it is good for a post-convention bounce. Later, the FBI will put more oil into the fire.”
The media (including the Washington Post and New York Times, which won Pulitzer prizes for reporting on the debunked claims) are apoplectic in dismissing these disclosures. The last thing they will do is report on how they helped sell a political hoax. The problem is that they never said it was a trick. They said it was the truth. That is why they cannot honestly cover the story. To do so would not be coverage, it would be a confession.
It appears that everyone was in on the trick: the U.S. government, the media, even foreign governments. The only chumps were the American people. Now they are about to see how it was done.

Rep. Rick Crawford joined the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) in early 2017, just as the Obama administration was putting the Russia collusion hoax into motion. The Arkansas Republican and his fellow committee members would soon be up to their necks in one of the darkest chapters in U.S. intelligence history.
On Jan. 6, 2017, documents suggest, the deep state was setting up its own brand of insurrection, pushing an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) filled with dubious information and sourcing that Crawford believes was designed to topple President-elect Donald Trump’s first term in office.
“Forgive me for being coarse, but these [intelligence] analysts, for lack of a better term, crapped all over ICD [Intelligence Community Directive] 203. They did not follow it in the slightest,” Crawford said on the latest episode of The Federalist Radio Hour. He was referring to the analytic standards that CIA agents and analysts must follow. They didn’t.
“It was ignored and they went forward with their own narrative that was done simply to discredit President Trump and to spin a narrative that was false: That he was involved with [Russian President] Vladimir Putin in helping to change the outcome of the election,” he added.
‘It Didn’t Matter If It Was True’
Crawford, who in January took over as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has, like his Republican colleagues, been waiting a long time for the public to know what he has known for years. The recent declassification and release of the committee’s 2020 majority staff report lays to waste the lie that the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin to steal the 2016 election and exposes the likes of then-CIA Director John Brennan for driving a deeply flawed intelligence assessment. The report, released last week by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, found that one “scant, unclear, and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard reports constitutes the only classified information cited to suggest Putin ‘aspired’ to help Trump win.”
The ICA “ignored strong indicators supporting the alternative hypothesis that, at a minimum, Putin didn’t care who won and even had reasons to prefer a Clinton victory,” and that by “adopting a single-track explanation for Putin’s actions — that he ‘preferred’ candidate Trump and ‘aspired’ to help him win — the ICA authors had little choice but to ignore contrary evidence and attempt to force-fit weak evidence to make their case.”
And there was a plethora of contrary evidence. Career intelligence officials warned Brennan and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper that they were barking up the wrong tree. The Trump-hating deep staters didn’t listen. Forcing their collusion narrative, Brennan and crew relied on the Steele dossier to the disgust of intelligence analysts who saw it for the garbage political opposition research that it was. According to the committee report, a CIA analyst told investigators that Brennan “refused to remove it, and when confronted with the dossier’s main flaws, [Brennan] responded, ‘Yes, but doesn’t it ring true?’”
Crawford found the old CIA director’s comment particularly troubling.
“It didn’t matter if it was true, as far as he was concerned. It rang true so it was going to be central to their assessment,” the committee chairman said. “The analytic integrity was completely lacking.”
Never mind that Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid for the Steele dossier, littered with salacious and unverifiable opposition research.
‘Willing Accomplices’
Crawford said there’s a reason why the damning documents have been sealed for so long. Former Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who chaired the Intelligence Committee in the thick of the Russia collusion hoax and who was viciously attacked by Democrats and the media for combatting the lies, tried unsuccessfully to get the 2020 report released. Rep. Mike Turner, an Ohio Republican who served as chairman of the Intelligence Committee in the previous session of Congress, tried as well but ran into a brick wall, Crawford said. That changed with Trump’s return to the White House in January. The administration returned the documents to the House Intelligence Committee, and they are now open to public inspection.
“So, what we see here is a fraud, a hoax perpetrated on the American people at the expense of President Trump,” the congressman said. “And this was nothing more than a Psyop, a psychological operation against the American people, really under the direction of President Obama and conducted by the IC leadership team.”
And the hoax was greatly assisted by a Trump-hating corporate media that gladly gobbled up all of the false “tips” the Intelligence Community and like-minded political operatives fed them, Crawford said.
“It’s not as though the media were just reporting facts that were being put out there in the public sphere. They were willing accomplices,” the chairman said. So much so, he added, that the Steele dossier was leaked to Yahoo News, and the leak was used as a predicate to go after Trump and launch the FBI’s politically-driven Crossfire Hurricane sham probe. Ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok, the partisan player behind the investigation, suggested as much in a Sept. 23, 2016 text, boasting that the Steele dossier was able to “influence” media.
“Looking at the Yahoo article, I would definitely say at a minimum Steele’s reports should be viewed as intended to influence as well as to inform,” the disgraced former agent, fired from the FBI in August 2018, wrote in the declassified communications.
Now that same accomplice media is ignoring or dismissing the bombshell documents.
“So, the media essentially becomes not an unwitting player in this whole thing but a witting accomplice, like, ‘Yes, give us this information. We’ll help spin this. We’ll help sell it to the American people, we’ll help take down President Trump,’” Crawford said. “And they’re not about to admit that they made that mistake or that they were involved in that because that would be a huge revelation. It would discredit them all.”
‘An Absolute Travesty’
Like corporate media, the Intelligence Community has had plenty of struggles with the truth over the years. Crawford and the Subcommittee on Central Intelligence Agency have investigated more recent suspect ICAs.
“The Intelligence Community (IC) has attempted to thwart the Subcommittee’s investigative efforts to uncover the truth at every turn. Despite this, the Subcommittee has uncovered information illustrative of problems with the ICA’s creation, review, and release,” Crawford wrote in the subcommittee’s interim report in December on “the Intelligence Community’s Conclusions on Anomalous Health Incidents.” The report asked, “Is the Intelligence Community Hiding the Real Reason for This Phenomenon?”
Crawford said he wants to believe that the perpetrators of the Russia collusion hoax will ultimately be held accountable, but he worries about legal “loopholes.” The major players have gone on to very lucrative post-IC careers, serving as “credible experts” to the same news outlets that ran with their twisted intelligence.
“That’s an absolute travesty because what they have done, they really, in my opinion, perpetrated the largest, deepest, widest hoax we’ve ever seen in American history, and they seem to be proud of it. And that’s the thing that bothers me the most.”

CINCINNATI – A third person has been arrested in connection with a brutal beatdown in Cincinnati that left two people seriously injured this past weekend, police sources confirmed to Fox News. Sources also said that the individual was booked overnight. Jermaine Matthews has been arrested and charged with aggravated riot and assault. Sources confirmed to Fox News Digital that authorities are taking the investigation into the viral beating in Cincinnati. Now, just days after the beatdown, three people have been arrested in connection with the crime.
The arrest comes a day after 34-year-old Montianez Merriweather and 24-year-old Dekyra Vernon were arrested on charges of felonious assault, aggravated riot and assault. All three suspects appeared in court on Wednesday morning for bond hearings.
The judge held Merriweather on a $500,000 bond; Matthews on a $100,000 bond; and Vernon on a $200,000 bond.
Detectives told the judge during the bond hearing that they are working to determine what led up to the “extremely violent” incident that happened, which includes reviewing multiple videos.
“Ultimately, we do have on video Mr. Merriweather walking up to a co-defendant. He whispers something to him, then walks back behind the victim,” the detective said. “We have Mr. Merriweather coming up behind the victim, striking him in the side of the face from behind.”
The judge asked the detective if he would call this a surprise attack.

“This is kind of like an ambush, almost like it was setup in a certain way,” the detective told the judge, adding that the footage came from a camera mounted on a nearby building.
He continued, alleging that Merriweather and a co-defendant, later identified as Matthews, were seen chasing the victims as they were trying to retreat, and once the victims were on the ground, they began to punch and kick them.
“Mr. Merriwether goes after another gentleman behind another car and then he walks off to the side and goes to the sidewalk,” the detective said. “So as to Mr. Merriweather’s involvement in this, we believe that he coordinated this with Mr. Matthews. He walked up to him on a video, whispered something to him, and then strategically placed himself behind the victim.”

Detectives also alleged that Matthews was seen on video chasing one of the victims into the street, and when the victim fell, Matthews allegedly started kicking him several times. When he stopped kicking the suspect, the detectives claimed, Matthews appeared “visibly, just, enraged” before going to hit another person. When asked if the punch looked like a surprise punch, the detectives explained that it appeared intentional.

Still, detectives said in one video, Matthews was seen standing in the area when the victim punched him in the face.
“We are looking into that,” the detective said. In another video, Matthews is seen squared up with someone when he gets punched in the face, the detectives alleged, and “everything goes south from there.”

Cincinnati detectives said in court that they believe Merriweather and Matthews coordinated with each other during the attack. Court records show Merriweather has an extensive criminal history. In December 2008, when he was just 17, Merriweather was convicted of aggravated robbery. He had also faced robbery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping charges stemming from the same incident, though those charges were dismissed.
Since 2019, Merriweather has been charged with things like felonious assault, domestic violence, receiving stolen property, possessing weapons while on disability, and carrying weapons in a motor vehicle as a felon. Matthews has three previous felony convictions, all of which were drug-related.
The defense attorney for Vernon said his client was in a “very different situation,” saying she is 24-years-old and has no prior criminal history other than traffic violations and an open warrant for a traffic violation.

Detectives shared a still image of the attack with the judge, and although Vernon only had traffic violations on her record, they said the photo shows a significant bond was warranted. They alleged that one video shows Vernon watching the “brawl” on the street, and in the same video a woman is seen trying to protect the victim and help him up. Vernon then is seen knocking the same woman out, they said.

The victim, detectives said, has been back to the hospital twice for treatment and was “significantly harmed” by the incident.
Still, detectives said Vernon was standing on the sidewalk, watching the fight when she stepped out onto the street and interjected herself as someone was trying to stop it.
The FBI confirmed to Fox News Digital that it was involved in the investigation into the assault and that it would be working with police.
“The FBI has been and will continue closely coordinating with the Cincinnati Police Department on this matter,” the FBI told Fox News Digital.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, violence broke out near the popular nightclub LoVe and the late-night restaurant next to the establishment. Footage of the incident went viral and sparked public outrage. Cincinnati Chief of Police Teresa Theetge said during a press conference on Monday afternoon that her department had charged five people for their involvement in the violence, though she would not release the names of the individuals. Additionally, she said that while there was a crowd of about 100 people watching or getting involved in the attack, only one person called 911.
“That is unacceptable to not call the police,” she said. “Traffic was horrendous. People saw this. They were fighting in front of traffic. Why didn’t people call us?”
Theetge said in a statement on Wednesday that more arrests are coming, as her team continues to work the active investigation.
“As I have stated previously, our Investigative Team and Fugitive Apprehension Unit are working tirelessly and will not stop until every individual involved in this attack is identified and arrested,” the chief said, while commending members of the community for coming forward with “crucial” information. “This remains an active and ongoing investigation with more arrests forthcoming.”
Footage shows a man and a woman being beaten up by a crowd of people, with the woman eventually being knocked out cold with a sucker punch. Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke with Holly — the woman who was knocked out — on Monday.
“She’s a single working mom who went to a friend’s birthday party. It’s unconscionable that there were no police present in that area of Cincinnati on a Friday night, or even an ambulance to take her to the hospital,” he said. “Hard-working Americans shouldn’t have to worry for their safety when they have a good time in our cities. Holly said not a single local or state official had yet reached out as of earlier this afternoon, other than one police detective.‘
“Leftists like to lecture about ‘systemic injustice’ while thugs turn our cities into war zones. I’m done with their excuses,” he continued. “As governor, I’ll make sure they’re behind bars, not running wild. Our cops will have the green light to restore order—no apologies. Holly appreciates the kind words and prayers from patriots across the country and hopes that the publicity around her story ensures that local & state leaders clean up our failing cities. We hope to visit Holly soon as she recovers.”
Cory Bowman, who is also Vice President JD Vance’s half-brother in addition to being a candidate for Cincinnati mayor, slammed the city’s leadership over the incident.
“People don’t even see the sense in calling 911 anymore,” Bowman told Fox News Digital.

Resisting tremendous pressure from the Trump administration, the Federal Reserve held its key interest rate steady on Wednesday as two of President Donald Trump’s appointees dissented from the decision and voted for cuts.
Wednesday’s meeting reportedly marks the first time in more than 30 years that two members of the Fed’s seven-member Board of Governors voted against a rate decision at the central bank.
Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman and board member Christopher Waller “preferred to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by one quarter of a percentage point at this meeting,” according to the Fed’s policy statement.
In announcing its decision, the Fed said that while economic growth had moderated in the first six months of 2025, inflation remained “somewhat elevated.”
Fed Chair Jerome Powell voted to keep rates unchanged, as did three other board members and the five Fed regional bank presidents who currently sit on the rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). Board member Adriana Kugler was absent from the meeting and did not vote.
Trump has been increasingly incensed by Powell’s refusal to lower rates in recent weeks. At one point, the president was threatening to oust the Fed chairman before his term expires, though the legality of such a plan was unclear. Last week, however, Trump appeared resigned to waiting until next May, when Powell’s four-year term is up, to appoint a new chair.
“I think he’s done a bad job, but he’s going to be out pretty soon anyway,” the president said at an event that aired live on Newsmax and the Newsmax2 free online streaming platform. “In eight months, he’ll be out. But I call him ‘Too Late.’ He’s too late all the time. He should have lowered interest rates many times. Europe lowered their rate 10 times. We lowered ours none, and it’s causing a problem for people that want to buy a home.”
With the Fed’s next meeting scheduled for September, the question now becomes whether the central bank will make cuts then.
“The next two months’ data will be pivotal and we see a path to a resumption of the Fed’s easing cycle in the autumn should tariff inflation prove more modest than expected or the labor market show signs of weakness,” Ashish Shah, a chief investment officer at Goldman Sachs, said in a note to clients after the decision was announced on Wednesday.

When President James Buchanan declared that the United States Senate is the “world’s greatest deliberative body,” he clearly had not envisioned Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.). In yet another tirade on the floor, Sen. Booker attacked not just President Donald Trump but his Democratic colleagues for voting for a bipartisan bill on law enforcement. Behind the “I am Spartacus” theatrics is a more troubling trend in the United States Senate as it devolves into a more populist, impulsive institution.
In 1872, Moncure Daniel Conway published an account of a meeting between Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Jefferson questioned Washington’s support for the creation of a second or upper house in the form of the Senate. Washington asked:
“Why…did you just now pour that coffee into your saucer, before drinking?”
“To cool it,” answered Jefferson, “my throat is not made of brass.”
“Even so,” rejoined Washington, “we pour our legislation into the senatorial saucer to cool it.”
These days, it seems like legislation goes to the Senate to heat up. The Senate is losing its constitutional and cultural moorings as the cooling saucer for our heated politics. Instead, it is becoming more like . . . well . . . the house.
The role of the Senate is key to the Madisonian design in forcing compromise and deliberation. Senators were given longer, six-year terms to insulate them from the immediate political demands that often motivate the House.
That has changed with the 24-hour media-saturated political environment. It has changed in this age of rage. Cue Corey Booker:
Putting the claims of “secret police” and, once again, the imminent collapse of democracy, Booker was immediately set upon by his colleagues after he moved to block the bipartisan bill by fellow Democratic Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (Nev.) and Amy Klobuchar (Minn.). Klobuchar effectively accused Booker of grandstanding and hypocrisy:
“I will note that Sen. Booker objected to my police reauthorization bill, the cops funding, the Clinton cops funding, long before Donald Trump came into office. So, this is not just about this. This is a long dispute over this type of funding.”
She also snapped back at Booker saying that he could not make a key hearing on the drafting of the bill because of a conflict, noting “I can’t help it if someone couldn’t change their schedule to be there.”
Cortez Masto struck back at the notion that Democrats should simply refuse to cooperate with the Administration or that working with Republicans is what Booker calls “complicity.”
Booker is clearly maneuvering for a possible presidential run and seeking to tap into the rage growing on the far left. He is also the inevitable result of the rising rhetoric of figures like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in pandering to the far left of his party. Democratic senators are now being denounced as “establishment” as Booker and others tack to the left to lead “the resistance.”
Booker just raised the anger ante for Democrats. They must either join the resistance and the rage or face the ire of their party. In the interim, the constitutional system will suffer. We need the House of Representatives as the “people’s house.” We do not need two Houses of Representatives. The Senate ideally moderates, not magnifies, the pressures and passions in the political system.
Booker’s tirades clearly resonate with some on the far left, but it is likely to come at a cost for the institution itself. As tensions build on the Democratic side, Teddy Roosevelt’s quip seems to be coming true in voting for bipartisan legislation: “When they call the roll in the Senate, the Senators do not know whether to answer ‘Present’ or ‘Not guilty.””

“The Biggest Deal Ever Made”: Trump’s Second Victory in Europe in Just Over a Month
By Antonio Graceffo – The Gateway Pundit – July 29, 2025
President Trump has just secured a decisive victory in trade negotiations with the European Union, his second major win following the landmark NATO agreement. Together, these deals generate massive revenue, reduce the U.S. deficit, and reshape America’s global economic and security leadership. The new trade agreement imposes a 15% tariff on most European imports, generating tens of billions of dollars annually for the U.S. It also eliminates all tariffs on American industrial goods exported to Europe and commits the EU to purchasing large quantities of U.S. military equipment, expanding opportunities for American manufacturers and helping close the long-standing trade imbalance. In return, the EU has agreed to purchase $750 billion in U.S. energy and invest another $600 billion into the U.S. economy by 2028… READ MORE

It’s beginning to look like the Obama administration was all-in on the Russia collusion hoax long before Trump won the 2016 election.
On Monday, Fox News reported that before the FBI ever launched its politicized probe of the Trump campaign’s possible ties to Russia in the summer of 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies had “credible foreign sources” indicating the FBI would help spread the Russia collusion hoax, which of course is exactly what happened.
It’s the latest twist in a string of shocking new revelations about how the U.S. intelligence community, at the behest of then-President Barack Obama, manufactured and disseminated a false narrative that Moscow was working to get Trump elected in 2016.
The “credible foreign sources” that predicted the FBI would run an intelligence operation against Trump in the summer of 2016 were almost certainly Russian sources. Back in September of 2020, my colleagues Sean Davis and Mollie Hemingway reported that then-Director of National Intelligence (now CIA director) John Ratcliffe told congressional officials that top U.S. intelligence officials knew that Moscow was aware of Hillary Clinton’s campaign plan to accuse Trump of being a Russian asset.
Former CIA Director John Brennan, said Ratcliffe, personally briefed then-President Obama and top U.S. national security officials that Moscow had determined Clinton had approved a plan in late July 2016, “to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services,” according to Brennan’s own handwritten notes. In September of that year, former FBI Director James Comey was sent an investigative referral regarding Moscow’s alleged knowledge of Clinton’s plans to paint Trump as a treasonous Russian agent. But instead of investigating whether the Clinton campaign had been infiltrated by Russian intelligence, Comey went about obtaining federal warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign.
What’s more, we know that Christopher Steele, whose infamous dossier wound up being a key source for the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that falsely claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin “aspired” for Trump to win the election, was at the time on the payroll of sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. And his primary subsource for the dossier, Igor Danchenko, was long suspected of being a Russian intelligence asset.
All of which helps shed light on what was reported Monday. Ratcliffe, according to Fox News, is going to declassify the underlying intelligence that reveals that “credible foreign sources” knew about the FBI’s plans to promote the Trump-Russia narrative. Part of that intelligence is a classified annex in former Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe.
Fox News quoted an anonymous source familiar with the contents of the annex who said that the intelligence collected from these foreign sources predicted the FBI’s next move, in the summer of 2016, “with alarming specificity.”
“Ultimately, the release of the classified annex will lend more credibility to the assertion that there was a coordinated plan inside the U.S. government to help the Clinton campaign stir up controversy connecting Trump to Russia,” the source told Fox News.
Together with what we now know about Obama’s involvement in all of this, especially after Trump had won the election, it looks very much like what Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard called it last week: a treasonous conspiracy and a years-long coup against a duly elected president.
In particular, as my colleague Margot Cleveland reported in these pages yesterday, the extent of Obama’s personal involvement is deeper than previously reported. Last week’s release of the House Permanent Selection Committee on Intelligence’s (HPSCI) report summarizing its investigation into the drafting of the ICA exposed how then-CIA Director Brennan ordered the publication of three substandard intelligence reports. These reports, together with the Steele dossier, “became foundational sources for the ICA judgments that Putin preferred Trump over Clinton.”
But as Cleveland notes, the recently declassified HPSCI report also reveals Obama’s central role in this scheme. Investigators and the ICA authors were “denied access to a trove of information on grounds of executive or congressional privilege,” according to the HPSCI report. One FBI analyst, the report says, argued that this intelligence should be shared with those responsible for drafting the ICA, but the Obama administration “denied ICA drafters access to this intelligence on grounds of Executive or Congressional privilege.”
Setting aside what intelligence might have been protected by congressional privilege, executive privilege rests with the president, which means Obama is the one who barred the ICA drafters from seeing the underlying intelligence.
Why would he do that? To prevent them from seeing that it was laughably unreliable — indeed, that much of it relied on the outlandish Steele dossier. Indeed, the “compartmented” version of the ICA — that is, the version only accessible to specially identified and approved individuals — included the Steele dossier. But the public and even classified versions did not. Why would the Steele dossier be compartmented? As Cleveland explained, “to keep the honest analysts responsible for finalizing the classified and unclassified version of the ICA from discovering the shady and fake intel Brennan buried in the compartmented version.”
A big part of what we’re learning now is the lengths some of these intelligence officials went to hide what they had done. That’s why much of this didn’t come out during Trump’s first term — some of the people who were involved in it continued to serve in the Trump administration — and worked to cover their tracks.
For example, Gina Haspel, who served as CIA director under Trump, personally blocked the declassification of Russiagate documents in 2020. Why would she do that? Well, Haspel was hand-picked by Brennan to serve as CIA station chief in London from 2014 to early 2017 — the same time that Steele, a British national, was in London compiling his garbage dossier on Trump. Haspel was the CIA’s link between London and Washington during this period.
Over the weekend, Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer suggested Haspel should be investigated for her potential role in the Russia collusion hoax. “What role did she play not only in perhaps creating this, but what role did she play in suppressing it when she was CIA director and she was supposed to be serving Donald Trump rather than the CIA establishment?” Schweizer said. “She certainly had access to this material.”
At this point, that’s really the question that should determine who gets investigated: who had access to this material? We know that Obama and his intel chiefs had access to material in the summer of 2016 that suggested Moscow knew that Clinton was going to try to smear Trump as a Russian asset, and that Moscow believed the FBI would go along with that. We know that they did indeed go along with it, and that they cooked up the ICA after Trump won, hiding their reliance on the Steele dossier and other unreliable and outlandish intelligence products.
We know all this now, eight years after the treasonous conspiracy was launched, and soon we’ll know more, as Ratcliffe and Gabbard release more. The question is, will anyone in the Trump administration do anything about it?

The Pope, the State Department, the United Nations and a leading Christian group have all condemned a new major attack on Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which the U.N. says left at least 49 dead.
In the latest attack in a tragic long string of mass murders by Islamist terrorists in both Nigeria and the DRC, the U.N. said rebels from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a sanctioned rebel group allied to Islamic State with roots in Uganda, burst into a church in the Eastern town of Komanda and set about hacking Christians who were worshipping inside with machetes and other knives. The congregation was attacked at 1 a.m. last Sunday morning, while they were on a night vigil, reportedly praying for peace.
The rebels also burnt nearby homes. Nine children are said to be among the dead. Several villagers have been abducted.
A State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “The United States designated the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), also known as ISIS-DRC, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization in 2021. We are concerned by reports of the recent attack on civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo and strongly condemn this cowardly act of violence against Christians in their place of worship.”
Villagers bury their dead on July 28th, following the murder of 49 Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo by ISIS-linked jihadists. (Open Doors )
Pope Leo XIV also condemned the attack. “May the blood of these martyrs become a seed of peace, reconciliation, fraternity, and love for the Congolese people.” A Vatican Cardinal added that the Pope “learned with dismay and deep sorrow of the attack.”
The U.N.’s Stablization Mission in the DRC, MONUSCO, expressed “deep outrage at these heinous acts of violence, which constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and infringements on human rights.”
“The killings are strategic,” Illia Djadi, senior sub-Saharan researcher for Christian charity Open Doors, who support and speak up for Christians persecuted for their faith, stated. He added, “The ADF have a very clear aim: they want to turn a large part of DRC into an Islamic caliphate, like the horrific one instigated in Iraq and Syria in 2014 by Islamic State.”
Contacted by Fox News Digital on Tuesday, Djadi said, “The presence of Islamic State groups across the region means that sub-Saharan Africa has become the new epicenter of jihadism.”Muslims are in the minority here; it’s said that Christians account for between 80-95% of the population.
Villagers walk towards the burial site of 49 Christians killed by jihadists in the Democratic Republic of Congo on July 28th. (Open Doors)
70 Christians were reported beheaded, again in a church in the DRC, in February. The killings of Christians are worse in Nigeria, with Pope Leo XIV telling crowds at the Vatican that “some 200 people were murdered, with extraordinary cruelty” on June 13 in Yelewata, in Nigeria’s Benue State.
According to Open Doors International’s 2025 World Watch List (WWL), of the 4,476 Christians killed worldwide in WWL’s latest reporting period, 3,100 of those who died (69%) were in Nigeria.
Djadi told Fox News Digital that despite President Trump’s brokered peace deal in the DRC, Christians in the East of the country are still at risk. “There has been a lot of attention paid to the DRC recently, with Donald Trump spearheading a peace initiative between the DRC and Rwanda, whose rebel fighters the M23 have taken a large proportion of territories in the east of the DRC.”
Christian faithfuls hold signs as they march on the streets of Abuja during a prayer and penance for peace and security in Nigeria in Abuja on March 1, 2020. (KOLA SULAIMON/AFP via Getty Images)
“However,” Djadi added, “while government forces are trying to contain the M23 in the urban regions, the rural areas are left undefended. It has left a security vacuum, meaning that the ADF are free to slaughter hundreds of innocent civilians with impunity, with Christians especially at risk.‘
“It is the primary responsibility of (the) Congolese government to protect the whole nation, regardless of their religious faith or ethnic background. What would happen if the ADF continues its killing unopposed is too awful to contemplate.”

The Public Broadcast: From Educator to Echo Chamber
NPR started as your mom’s cultured whisper in the morning—classical music, educational fare. Fast forward to 2025, and it’s more like a 24/7 campus rally, with woke mantras peppered throughout its programming. PBS, once a wholesome window into Mr. Rogers, now co-hosts drag story hours for your kids. We can’t even get through “Masterpiece Theater” these days without an ideological subplot.
But then came Trump, stepping in like a turnaround CEO sans the boardroom jargon. He wielded Executive Order 14290 (May 1, 2025) like an axe: “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Biased Media” With a flick of the pen, he defunded NPR and PBS—finally freeing Uncle Sam from being the PR manager for progressive talking points. And Congress finally codified this.
NPR’s Leftward Migration: From Neutral to Narrative
During the George Floyd riots, NPR promoted a book called ‘In Defense of Looting.’ Here is one line from the article.
“The very basis of property in the U.S. is derived through whiteness and through Black oppression…”
Let’s pause on that anchor quote: NPR, taxpayer-funded, giving airtime to a book celebrating looting as moral justice. It’s not editorializing—it’s activism, on your dime. Scholar Samantha Bradshaw documented how private platforms shape propaganda—but here, public media is doubling down, funding incitement instead of impartial reporting.
When your “news” platform starts sounding like a university campus radical, you’ve gone rogue. But NPR doubled down—because why be a news service when you can be political?
Trump Cuts the Red Tape—and the Funds
Realizing nobody else would do it, Trump played his CEO card. On May 1, 2025, he issued EO 14290 to eliminate funding to NPR and PBS. Congress followed suit via the Rescissions Act of 2025, stripping $1.1 billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting—effectively zeroing out federal support. Stations panicked—PBS’s CEO warned of devastation in rural America. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Sen Lisa Murkowski called PBS and NPR, “a lifeline for many of my small, rural communities.”
Seriously? I grew up in a small community, and not once did I hear of anybody relying on NPR for anything. Sure, you might listen occasionally, generally when you’re in “flyover” country and you can’t get a clear radio signal. But rely on NPR?
If your lifeline is faking neutrality while preaching leftism, then it was a leash more than it was a lifeline.
The Red Ink Tsunami Hits Legacy Media
PBS and NPR are icing on the cake for President Trump. He can be credited for permanently crippling the fake-news narrative. He coined the term nearly a decade ago—“fake news,” and it bit. It’s survived every administration’s spin cycle.
TV isn’t immune. The cancellation of The Late Show hit late-night with a sledge hammer. Networks and podcasts bloodied. Even the Washington Post CEO held a town hall asking “Real journalism, or pink slips?”—because the left’s game plan isn’t editing copy, it’s bleeding the business. The private outlets are hemorrhaging red ink—and in their last throes, they scream “We need protection!” But Trump, armed with budgeting knives rather than bluster, said “Nah.”
Government Joins the Exit Strategy
Public media was the last unabashed government-funded narrative peddler. But not anymore. Trump’s bold move compelled taxpayer escapes from ideological echo chambers. PBS may fight in court (they did), but fact is: government propaganda is over. Not through cancel culture—but through budget cuts. Welcome to free market—where propaganda meets zero-dollar ads.
If PBS and NPR stoically go down, I’m all to happy to add them to the existing media carcasses.
Trump’s Media Trophy Room: And He’s Still Adding Heads
Consider:
He debuted “fake news.”
He defunded federal media’s baton of bias.
He triggered TV cancellations (The Late Show, Trevor Noah, Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow, et al).
He forced WaPo to issue existential memos.
All from the CEO perspective. You cut waste. You dump the PR spin. You claw back cash to run the important things. Check. Check. And check.
Reactions, Backlashes, and Irony
Progressives wailed. Rural station heads claimed doom. But recall Fred Rogers: in 1969, he moved Congress to fund PBS as an educational beacon. They cried foul. Now they’re elite tentacles of the Left. Hilarious arc.
Exclusive PBS drag shows? NPR-sponsored looting pamphlets? This isn’t Fred Rogers pushing wheels in Peacefulville; it’s Leftist insurgent political theater paraded as journalism.
Why Defunding Was More Than Just Budget Cuts
No neutral public sector narrative. If government-funded media hops Left, taxpayers get hemmed into funding echo chambers.
Red ink is real. Legacy news is dying. Public media was the last subsidized fortress—now it’s falling.
Marketplace wins. Podcasts, private news, streaming—if you create it, someone will pay for it.
Final Score: A Win for Citizens, Not Cultures
Trump didn’t just sculpt policy—he curated the information buffet. Cutting public media funding wasn’t removal—it was refusal to fund Leftist PR from Washington.
What’s next? A civilian media renaissance—undirected, decentralized, and driven by demand—not by capital-D Doublespeak.
NPR and PBS weren’t the neutral stewards they advertised. In fact, they became state-funded billboards for the Left. CEO Trump cut them from the budget, liberating taxpayers and creating a media meltdown, and pulling the plug on propaganda.
We have been discussing the recently declassified material related to the Russian investigation, including disclosures of the role of former CIA director John Brennan at the end of the Obama Administration to reinforce the unfounded allegations of Russian collusion and influence. After an earlier intelligence assessment rejecting the narrative was effectively quashed, Brennan reportedly hand-picked the team to do a second rushed 2016 U.S. intelligence community assessment in the final days. We are now learning more about the person Brennan selected to head that team. Just the News and other outlets are revealing not just the extreme political bias of Susan Miller, but her remarkably poor handle on some key facts. The one unassailable fact that comes out of her postings is her declaration that “[I] am not a Trump fan.”
A review of Miller’s social media postings reveals intense hostility toward Donald Trump and his supporters, including calling the President a “dictator” and MAGA supporters “Nazis.” What is particularly notable is that she still maintains that the widely ridiculed Steele Dossier, secretly funded by the Clinton campaign, “might be true.” Despite the findings of the Special Counsel and various investigations, she has insisted that Trump may indeed be a “Russian asset” or a “Kremlin asset”
Miller recently retired but says that she continues to train CIA officers.
Brennan choose wisely if he wanted to ensure that a reliable political ally would draft the assessment. However, she has said that there were others in the CIA who wanted an actual finding that Trump’s election was illegitimate. That was the narrative pushed by Hillary Clinton and many Democrats after the 2016 loss. She suggested that that may still be true, a form of election denial that is still accepted on the left as they criticize Trump for his questioning of the 2020 defeat.
Miller appears to be one of the last diehards claiming that the Steele dossier could have also repeatedly still proved correct in its allegations.
Some interviews are striking in their conflicting elements, like insisting “all of us went in with a completely open mind” but that “they [the Russians] definitely wanted him [Trump].”
Miller also seemed to view the CIA’s role as part of a resistance, or at least counterforce to Trump: “I headed up the report team. … I wanted people who would speak truth to power.”
On social media, Miller comes across as unhinged at times in responding to stories with screeds like “This is awful! Further proof that Trump is a dictator.” She also wrote, “Good grief. As if we needed proof that MAGA types are nazis…”
She responded to a foreign poster by saying, “Yes….the Hitler analogy is not lost on a bunch of us…..sadly….”
In one of the most bizarre series of statements, Miller accuses Trump, Barr, and Durham of putting “me on trial” because she was interviewed in the various investigations.
She insisted in an interview with Times Radio in July that Trump got Barr and Durham “to open a trial on us…I spent 8 hours on trial; other team members also had trials. Not unexpectedly, nothing criminal was found.”
Just the News notes that Miller said again in June that “Trump put me on trial….criminal complaint after inauguration.” There is no indication of what that criminal complaint entailed, where it was filed, or what happened to it.
Miller appears to be struggling to make the case against Brennan and herself in carrying out this intelligence assessment. It is telling that, within the entire CIA establishment, Brennan would select Miller for this controversial report. What is even more chilling is that top intelligence officials would continue to cling to debunked sources like Steele. It is the kind of intransigence common among those living in echo chambers created by news and social media sites. CIA analysts are supposedly trained to avoid such confirmation bias.
All of this makes for a great pitch to join figures like Clapper or McCabe with MSNBC or CNN contracts. It is less compelling in defending the work product of the CIA on this report.
Public trust in the church as an institution has risen after three years of stagnation, with 36% of Americans now saying they have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in it. The shift, recorded in Gallup’s latest survey on the topic, marks the first significant increase since 2020.
Confidence in the church had fallen to 31% in 2022 and remained around 32% over the following two years, near its lowest recorded levels. Gallup has tracked this trend annually since 1973, when trust stood at 66%, reaching a high of 68% in 1975.
The only other major rebound in recent decades came in 2001, when post-9/11 sentiment briefly raised confidence to 60%, the last time the institution earned such broad support, as reported by Lifeway Research.
The latest numbers show the American church regaining some ground, matching levels last seen in 2021 when confidence was at 37%. While still far from majority support, the increase is notable across several demographics, particularly among political conservatives.
Among Republicans, trust in the church jumped from 49% in 2024 to 64% this year. That change aligns with broader gains in institutional confidence among Republican voters following the reelection of President Donald Trump.
In contrast, confidence in the church fell slightly among Democrats, from 22% to 21%, and rose modestly among independents from 28% to 30%, according to Gallup.
The divide along party lines follows political patterns in institutional trust. In the same survey, Gallup recorded a 73-point increase in Republican confidence in the presidency, while Democrats’ trust in that office dropped 58 points. Gallup noted that partisan control of institutions plays a central role in public trust, stating that confidence often correlates more with political affiliation than with institutional performance.
Women, younger Americans and lower-income households showed marked increases in trust toward the church over the past year. Women’s confidence rose eight points to 36%, closing the previous gender gap. Americans aged 18 to 37 experienced the largest increase, rising from 26% to 32%. Those aged 38 to 54 increased three points to 31%, and Americans 55 and older grew from 39% to 42%.
Trust among black and Hispanic Americans remained lower than among white Americans, but all groups showed modest gains. Thirty-one percent of black Americans and 33% of Hispanic Americans expressed high confidence in the church, compared to 37% of white Americans. In 2024, the figure for all non-white respondents stood at 30%.
Those with some college education but no degree reported one of the steepest increases — up 11 points to 36%. People earning less than $50,000 per year also grew from 31% to 39% in confidence, while those in households earning more than $100,000 rose from 29% to 36%.
Despite the increase, the church still ranks behind small businesses (70%), the military (62%), and science (61%) in terms of public trust. It falls in the middle tier, alongside the police (45%), higher education (42%), and the medical system (32%).
Institutions with lower levels of confidence than the church include the presidency (30%), banks (30%), public schools (29%), the U.S. Supreme Court (27%), and large tech companies (24%). Newspapers (17%), the criminal justice system (17%), big business (15%), television news (11%), and Congress (10%) occupy the bottom of Gallup’s 2025 ranking.
Gallup’s Megan Brenan noted that institutional trust tends to shift dramatically depending on which party holds power. “… Partisans’ confidence is easily restored when their political party controls the institution,” she wrote. “The flip side, of course, is that the confidence of the other party’s supporters declines when their party loses power.”
The average public confidence across the 14 institutions measured by Gallup remains low. This year, just 28% of Americans reported high trust in these institutions overall, the same as in 2024.
In an absolutely earth-shattering revelation, CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced that the classified annex of the Durham Report will be declassified in the coming weeks — and it reportedly contains undeniable evidence of a criminal conspiracy involving Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Comey, and the FBI to sabotage Donald Trump’s presidency and defraud the American people. The vicious attack on a white man and woman by a Black mob in Cincinnati has drawn national attention, yet the liberal media remains eerily silent. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon announced the Department of Justice will monitor the local investigation, emphasizing that federal hate crime laws apply to all Americans. Dhillon responded to Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio), who slammed Cincinnati’s Democrat Mayor Aftab Pureval for his failure to condemn the racially motivated violence.
“Our federal hate crimes laws apply to ALL Americans. We @CivilRights will monitor closely how local authorities handle this attack. Nobody in our great nation should be the victim of such a crime, and where race is a motivation, federal law may apply,”Dhillon stated.
Senator Moreno blasted Pureval’s inaction: “The Mayor of Cincinnati, @AftabPureval, who has an opinion on lots of irrelevant topics, has not issued a statement, let alone a condemnation, of this heinous attack. Instead of dreaming about higher office, which will never happen, he should be ensuring his residents are safe.”

The disturbing footage, shared by Cincinnati mayoral candidate Cory Bowman, shows a white man brutally beaten on the ground while an unconscious woman lies nearby, blood streaming from her mouth. Bowman, a Republican challenging Pureval in November, exposed the city’s failure to protect its citizens, revealing that no dedicated emergency dispatcher was on duty during the city’s second-largest event of the year.
“More violence from Friday night in downtown Cincinnati… Sources within the ECC have stated that Friday night, no such dispatcher was on duty. This reinforces what we’ve known, that major problems exist in the ECC relating to crime in the city. Cincinnati deserves better,” Bowman declared.
A white couple was brutaIIy beaten at a jazz festival by a black "teen mob" in Cincinnati yesterday.
Under President Donald Trump, law and order were prioritized and hate crimes—regardless of the perpetrator’s race—were met with swift justice. The current administration’s weakness has emboldened violent mobs, while Democrat-run cities like Cincinnati descend into chaos. Trump’s return to the White House would restore accountability, ensuring that all Americans are protected from racially motivated violence.

Minneapolis GOP chair sounds the alarm after Democrats endorse socialist Omar Fateh for mayor
By Dr. JC Chair – AphaNews.org – July 23, 2025
Voters need to “really understand what it is that the Democrat Socialists of America stand for,” said Minneapolis GOP Chair Diane Napper, arguing that Fateh’s election would be “the downfall of Minneapolis.” The race for the next mayor of Minneapolis is off to a controversial start. With the DFL endorsement of a democratic socialist facing scrutiny, the chair of the Minneapolis GOP Diane Napper spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast about what’s at stake this November. Omar Fateh is currently a Minnesota state senator. He’s now the DFL-endorsed candidate for the Mayor of Minneapolis. However, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has asked the DFL to invalidate the endorsement… READ MORE
DNI Tulsi Gabbard Fires Back at Barack Obama After He Issues a Pathetic Denial of His Treasonous Actions in the Russia Collusion Hoax (VIDEO)
By Cullen Linebarger – The Gateway Pundit – July 26, 2025
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has responded to Barack Obama’s pathetic attempt to distance himself from his treasonous actions during the Russia Collusion Hoax. As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Gabbard released her second batch of previously undisclosed documents on Wednesday morning. These documents include more proof that Barack Obama directly gave the order to publish the Russia Collusion hoax, knowing there was no proof to back it up. Page three of this latest document drop shows that then-President Obama ordered the release of documents, knowing there was no evidence to back them up. Obama didn’t just know about the Russia hoax – he directed it. All to delegitimize Trump’s historic win… READ MORE
