This Texas City Just PROVED What a FAILURE Obama’s ‘Innocent Refugee’ Program Really Is

Ever wonder how things are going with that refugee situation? How everyone is settling in? Whether everyone is getting on ok, and are there any lessons learned along the way? Good news! We have some early feedback from the city with among the highest concentrations of refugees from the Middle East, and can now hear from people most directly affected by the policies.
The community here mentioned is Amarillo. It’s a city of about 200k souls. The 1000 or so refugees now calling it home give it the highest per-capita refugee population in the nation.
This is the rare sort of opportunity that allows a scientific measurement of competing hypotheses.
The first hypothesis is the one held by the PC crowd that wanted to throw open the doors and let everyone come straight into the country. If their ideas are correct, we can expect that aside from a few logistical hiccups, the refugees would come to America the way many others have: with an intention of adopting the language and customs of America, of adapting to a new social, legal and economic way of life, and take their place among many other citizens now making America better or richer for their participation.
The second hypothesis, is more cautious, and views the first as too “Polyanna”. It views this process with the concern that new arrivals are not merely unable to become integrated to American language and customs, but rather, that they were unwilling, and actively rejecting the very things that make America, America. The concern exists that such people would reject the Melting Pot, and instead move toward creating isolated sub-cultures (i.e. ghettoes) and rather than strengthening America, contribute instead to its balkanization.
The results are in! Texas is telling the Feds “No Mas”.
It’s the little things making this process derail. Little things like the children in this school that don’t know English. Who might have predicted that 22 languages in a school system could create a logistical nightmare? But full speed ahead, and damn the torpedoes, right?
What about fitting in with the American way of life? Unless I’m mistaken, only US citizens get to vote. Well, that makes this next detail weird. A Somali group announced they had chosen their mayor — and then, to complicate it further — a rival group had chosen one of their own.
On top of this, add tribal enmity, or scores not settled from their cultures of origin. The city’s mayor had a quote that is so foreign to my thinking, I’m still wrapping my head around it: “We came to find out that rival tribes — slaves and masters — were being settled together.”
SLAVES??? This does not sound like successful integration.
So what is the responsible steward of Public trust to do when he sees local infrastructure straining to support and integrate the newcomers? Especially in light of the developments in San Bernardino and Cologne, and weaknesses of the screening process? Stop and reassess.
Building ghettos helps nobody — neither America, nor the refugees.
Well, almost nobody. But that would be too cynical even for them, right? The Feds would never use the influx of refugees (or illegal immigration, for that matter) as a deliberate gerrymandering tool, would they..?

America is vulnerable to attack by Islamic extremists from a southern flank, and it’s not the U.S./Mexico border, a top general says.

Washington should immediately request a U.N. Security Council meeting to produce a new resolution to impose stronger punitive sanctions and close loopholes, such as including Article 42 of Chapter VII of the U.N. Charter, which allows for enforcement by military means. Washington should call upon all U.N. member nations to fully implement existing sanctions to hinder North
Korea’s procurement and export of missile-related and WMD-related items.
