With thousands upon thousands of “children” crossing every week, it would seem that our southern border is wide open. Thanks to our president, the border patrol and other authorities are overwhelmed, leaving little if any manpower to patrol.

So, who else might be taking advantage of the Southern sieve? It certainly wouldn’t be Islamic terrorists, would it?

Now, we commentators have also written and spoken extensively of the Cloward and Piven strategy – a strategy to purposely overwhelm the system to the point of collapse. We have postulated that this is exactly what Obama is doing at our southern border.

I believe this to be true. But I also contend that this strategy may have dire consequences beyond just the illegal immigrant flood.

Already these illegals are being shipped all over the country to take up residence at military bases – Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, California, and even Massachusetts. And these are the ones that we know about. No doubt the list of states will grow as more and more enter.

With the border wide open, anyone can cross. Now is the perfect time for terrorists to arrive and set up cells across the country.

WSB news in Atlanta claims that at least 300 Somali terrorists from the al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabaab are already here, but their location is unknown. However, it is a fact that they are here.

As an aside: if a terrorist or group of terrorists crosses the border, will they get hassled or threatened by the drug cartels or traffickers. I wonder how that works. Does an Islamic leader from overseas call a Mexican drug lord and alert him that Mohammed al-Mustafa al-Bakiri al-Mohammed is heading your way and to steer clear or assist his passage? Maybe the Imam from an Islamic mosque in this country puts the word out. Maybe the Muslim Brotherhood, like UPS, loves logistics.

Obama defending muslimsThe next logical question to ask is; does the Obama administration know that this must be happening – that with the flood of “innocent children” there will be Islamists, bent on our destruction?

But, you may ask, “They’re only children, what could they do?”

The direct answer is nothing, but let’s not be naïve and assume the adults are being turned away.

So is Obama stupid enough to think that only “innocents” are crossing, or does he just not care?

And now for a little conspiracy fun.

Is Obama purposely allowing terror cells to form in the United States? Could it be that the destruction of capitalism and reformation into a state-controlled society is just not happening fast enough? Are they encouraging domestic strikes as a better/quicker way to facilitate a government takeover?

Is the ultimate goal martial law, temporary government control of everything and everyone? Of course, it would be temporary just long enough for most citizens to get used to the “new normal,” and then some form would become permanent.

Now look at where I’ve gone with this simple immigration rant. I’ve taken it from “dreamer” children to adults, to terrorists crossing the border, to them forming terror cells throughout the country, to domestic attacks, to temporary martial law, to permanent martial law.

Okay, I’ve completely lost my mind, and I’m partly kidding – partly – but just 10 years ago, would you believe we’d have a president who fancies himself a dictator – one who gets away with picking and choosing which laws to follow, or making up his own?

Would you believe that in America, what is currently happening at the border could actually occur?

As Obama continues to push the dictatorial envelope, maybe we should stop discounting anything as being beyond the pale

Putin Taunts Obama: Two Russian Bombers Fly Near Two U.S. States

Reports from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) earlier this week indicate that four Russian strategic bombers flew close to Alaska while two of the nuclear-capable bombers came within 50 miles of the coast of California. The bombers were accompanied by two aerial refueling tanks. 

Cupid-Is-As-Cupid-DoesThe Washington Free Beacon reports that Navy Captain Jeff Davis, NORAD spokesman, said the planes appeared to be conducting a training mission. He added that when two U.S. F-15 jets were sent out to intercept the bombers, the aircraft acted with professionalism. Davis said, “They typically do long range aviation training in the summer and it is not unusual for them to be more active during this time,” he said. “We assess this was part of training. And they did not enter territorial airspace.”

Not everyone, however, shares NORAD’s assessment that this was an innocent and not unusual training mission.

Rep. Mike Conaway (R., Texas), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, called the Russian flights “intentional provocations.”

“Putin is doing this specifically to try to taunt the U.S. and exercise, at least in the reported world, some sort of saber-rattling, muscle-flexing kind of nonsense,” Conaway said in an interview. “Truth of the matter is we would have squashed either one of those [bombers] like baby seals.”

“It’s a provocation and it’s unnecessary. But it fits in with [Putin’s] macho kind of saber-rattling,” he said, adding that he expects Russia will carry out more of these kinds of incidents in the future.

A former NORAD Alaska commander had even harsher words and assessment of these nuclear-capable Russian bombers flying so close to the United States. Lt. General Thomas McInerney is retired from the Air Force and says never, to his recollection, has such an event happened, even during the Cold War.

“Again we see the Obama administration through their covert—but overt to Mr. Putin—unilateral disarmament, inviting adventurism by the Russians,” McInerney said in an email.

“At the height of the Cold War I do not remember them getting this close. Mr. Putin had to approve this mission and he is just showing his personal contempt for President Obama right after meeting him in Normandy less than a week ago,” McInerney said.

ss 07McInerney sees such actions by Putin as a sign of utter disrespect to the Obama presidency. 

Russian President Vladmir Putin has shown by his actions that he has little respect for Barack Obama. Critics of Obama have argued that the world neither fears nor respects the United States any longer under Obama’s leadership. Despite Russia’s takeover of Crimea, a rise of terrorism at the hands of al Qaeda and their affiliates, and the violent Islamic takeover of Iraq, Obama actually said on Thursday that the world is less violent than it has ever been. Whether such a statement is based on naivety or desire to cover up his glaring failure on foreign affairs, it sends the wrong message on a world stage where the United States was once seen as the premier super power and a force to be reckoned with. In sending these bombers so close to the coast of California, Putin is seen by some to be flexing his muscles in an attempt to find out how and if Obama will respond.ss 10

Another Texas Abortion Clinic Closes: Killeen Women’s Health Center Shuts Down in Austin

The number of Texas abortion centers that have shut down, stopped doing abortions or at least paused abortions for a period of time is an excellent testimony to the effectiveness of pro-life legislation.

closedsign6When the state legislature decided to ban abortions after 20 weeks and hold abortion clinics accountable for their failure to protect women’s heath — over the objections of gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis — pro-life groups pushing for the bill knew it would have tremendous positive effects.

LifeNews has reported on abortion facilities across the state that have ended abortions and put them on hold and today we can report on more good news, this time from the state capital.

Life Dynamics has confirmed that another abortion clinic has closed due to pro-life legislation. The Killeen Women’s Health Center just announced that they have been unable to obtain hospital privileges and will therefore temporarily close their abortion facility.

“Unfortunately, the clinic still schedules abortions in their Austin location where they claim that abortionist Andrew Evan Massman has local privileges,” the Texas-based pro-life group told LifeNews.

A sign on the door the abortion clinic and posted on Texas Alliance for Life’s Facebook page reads, “Our office is currently closed.”

Last month, Life Dynamics reported that a Dallas abortion clinic indicated that they will no longer be killing unborn children due to new pro-life laws passed by the Texas legislature.

“The Northpark Medical Group abortion clinic in Dallas has stated that they are not accepting any patients at this time because their physicians cannot obtain local hospital admitting privileges. The clinic is part of a chain of abortion clinics which performs abortions on a regular basis,” the pro-life organization said. “In July, Texas passed HB2 requiring abortion doctors to have hospital admitting privileges within 30 miles of the abortion clinic. Because Northpark abortionists could not get hospital privileges, the center is unable to schedule or see any patients.“

Life Dynamics president Mark Crutcher says that the reason abortionists do not have hospital admitting privileges is because, “The competence and character of practitioners who work at abortion clinics is inevitably substandard and hospitals don’t want to have their reputations damaged by the stigma that accompanies both abortion and the people who do them. In addition, Hospitals realize that any link to abortion creates the possibility of protests and boycotts and may cause some patients and physicians to reject the hospital.”

Why are laws requiring abortion practitioners to hold admitting privileges necessary? Consider Angela’s story.

Angela was twenty weeks pregnant when she walked into a dingy abortion clinic in Santa Ana, California, on August 7, 2004. Her abortion was completed in five minutes with little or no pain relief by an 84-year old abortionist, Phillip Rand, who rotated his time between several clinics throughout Southern California.

When he was done with Angela’s abortion, he got in his car and began the three-hour drive on congested California freeways to another abortion clinic in Chula Vista, near the Mexican border, where he had more patients waiting. But when Angela started bleeding heavily, the two medical aids, who were the only ones left in the clinic, didn’t know what to do. One called Rand and asked him to return to the clinic to help the hemorrhaging women, but Rand refused. He was already an hour or so away and didn’t want to go back and risk losing business in Chula Vista. He told them to call 911 if she got any worse.

Angela did get worse – much worse. By the time paramedics arrived, it was too late. They found her in a pool of her own blood. There was no oxygen or no crash cart at the clinic, but it is doubtful that the two minimally-trained aids would have know how to operate them if they had been available. Angela was transported to a local hospital where she later died.

One paramedic was so incensed by how he found Angela that he reported Rand to his supervisor who, in turn, notified the Medical Board. A signed declaration from the paramedic noted, “This was the worst post-partum patient situation at a medical clinic I have ever encountered during my time as a paramedic.” Twenty months later Rand surrendered his medical license.

For Angela, there was no continuity of care. Rand held no hospital privileges. This allowed him to operate well below the standard of care at the cost of one woman’s life

BLM Claims 90,000 Acres Does Not Belong To Texas, Attempts To Seize Ranch

The BLM removed armed federal agents from Bunkeville and near the Bundy ranch, but another possible “land grab” or range war appears to be brewing in Texas. Fellow rancher Tommy Henderson has been fighting the BLM for 30 years, and appears to be losing yet another round in the battle.

Tommy Henderson is locked in a property rights fight with the BLM. Although many students are taught in geography class that the border between Texas and Oklahoma is the Red River, the issue is far more complicated than that, according to the Bureau of Land Management. The BLM used an ongoing debate over the border to nab 140 acres of land Henderson’s failed lawsuit against the agency three decades ago.

BLM is now using the Tommy Henderson lawsuit ruling as a precedent to seize even more of his land along a 116-mile stretch of the river which the agency claims never belonged to Texas in the first place. Henderson holds a deed to the 90,000 acres, but such a legal document did not prevent him from losing the 140-acre parcel he had labored over and paid property taxes on for years.

Henderson had this to say about the emerging Red River range war in Texas:

“They’re wanting to take the boundaries that the courts placed here and extend those east and west to the forks of the river north of Vernon and east to the 98th Meridian which is about 20 miles east of us.”

If the BLM is successful in its bid to seize the 90,000 owned by the Texas rancher, it would substantially alter the boundaries between the two states. The fight boils down to the difference between avulsion and accretion. The river has moved over time and the boundary is supposed to be noted as the vegetation line along the south side of the waterway. Both states use different semantics to define the boundary, according to the Americas Freedom Fighters website. The BLM has allegedly been able to capitalize on the confusion in the bid to seize Henderson’s land. Oklahoma state statute defines avulsion in a different manner than both the United States government and Texas.

A statement from the BLM about the possible land seizure in Texas reads:

“BLM officials believe they have a responsibility to manage land they believe is federal which includes an estimated 90,000 acres along 116 miles of the Red River. If the land is found to be public, BLM officials say they have three options: leave the land open, closed, or open with limitations.”

The BLM also contends that in the Red River there is always accretion – the gradual accumulation of sediment, to the south. The federal agency also stated that avulsion, the rapid formation of a new river channel, occurs on the north side of the river. The Bureau of Land Management believes that since the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma only moves in one direction – and that direction has not favored the ranchers working the land along the Red River. If the agency is able to redraw the Red River boundary it will include Tommy Henderson’s 90,000 acre ranch. If the BLM seizes the land, claiming that is should never have been privately owned due to the boundary dispute, grazing of cattle could still be an option – but will come at a price.

Tommy Henderson also had this to say about the very real possibility of losing his ranch:

“How can BLM come in and say, ‘Hey, this isn’t yours.’ Even though its patented from the state, you’ve always paid taxes on it. Our family paid taxes for over 100 years on this place. We’ve got a deed to it. But yet they walked in and said it wasn’t ours. Originally, here the river was out there where it is now and it eroded and accreted up to here, and then it eroded and accreted back. Well, their interpretation is that it eroded up to here but avulsed back. So when you listen to them it is always erosion to the south because the property line follows it then, but it’s always avulsion when it goes north. So the boundary can move south but it can never move back north.”

A boundary change could land families who have be considered Texans for generations on the other side of the line and actually suddenly find themselves Oklahoma residents.

The ever-decreasing number of abortion clinics continues its decline with the announcement of the closing of abortion clinics in Texas, Florida, and California.

Whole Women’s Health announced this week that its surgical abortion clinics in McAllen and Beaumont have permanently closed due to the new law passed last year that requires abortion facilities to meet minimum safety requirements, including hiring only abortionists that maintain local hospital privileges. The McAllen location had “temporarily” closed in January.

prolifepicture2Operation Rescue had lodged complaints about the Whole Women’s Health clinics in McAllen, Beaumont, and Austin after discovering they were improperly dumping “identifiable” aborted baby remains a during an undercover investigation in 2011. This led the Austin and McAllen locations to be heavily fined.

In addition, the North Florida Women’s Health & Counseling Service in Tallahassee has announced in public notices that it will be closing permanently on March 31. That surgical abortion clinic has operated continuously since 1981.

Surgical abortion clinics are not the only ones closing. Planned Parenthood’s office in Sunnyvale, California, which offered only medication abortions (RU-486) shut down in January.

“We are on track to see another great year. Every time an abortion clinic closes, lives are saved because women have a greater opportunity to seek other means of coping with the challenges they face. This is great news for women and their babies,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue.

Also out of business for good is Lester Minto’s Reproductive Services in Harlington, Texas. Minto stopped abortions in November due to the new Texas law, but continued to see abortion patients who had taken abortion pills procured in Mexico or other locations. This week he announced on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show that he has closed his clinic permanently and is selling his building.

Minto’s clinic joins real estate market along with the former New Women All Women abortion building in Birmingham, Alabama, which was put up for sale this week.

So far in 2014, seven surgical abortion clinics in four states have announced closure with one abortion pill clinic closing. Those states are California, Florida, Texas, and Iowa.

One of those abortion clinics, the Family Planning Associates in Montclair, California, remains closed as of this writing, but has obtained a potential new location, but has yet to clear several legal hurdles before reopening.

This continues the trend of abortion clinic closures documented by Operation Rescue, which maintains the most accurate list of abortion clinics in the U.S. In 2013, a record 87 surgical abortion clinics and 6 abortion pill-only clinics closed.

The closures are attributed to new laws that are weeding out abortion clinics that cannot meet minimum standards. Also, an increase in pro-life sentiment and greater reporting of abortion abuses by pro-life groups have also contributed to the closures.

“Along with laws that are putting abortion quacks out of business, more and more women are simply rejecting abortion. When demand for services drops, businesses go under, and that is what we are now seeing in the abortion cartel,” said Newman. “This trend reflects a fundamental change, which we believe will ultimately lead to an end of abortion in this country.”

Just because one part of the country has seemingly lost its mind and is willing to give up their freedom for the promise of more security doesn’t mean everyone is on board.

In Texas, where voters took to the polls Tuesday night, a completely different set of ideas is at play. And if nationwide sentiment is any indication, other conservative and libertarian leaning states will soon follow.

Though only about half of the votes have been tallied so far, the people of Texas have spoken. It’s a roar, in fact. Voters are standing in unison and have overwhelmingly approved a variety of propositions that may well send shivers down the spines of supporters of things like universal health care, rampant welfare dependency, special privileges and gun rights.

The following results speak for themselves.

First on the chopping block is the Patient Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as Obamacare.  Apparently, 93% of Texans don’t take well to having the federal government mandate what they should or shouldn’t buy with the penalty for non-compliance being IRS harassment and prison time:

This one might be a little scary for those folks who spend their lives on their couches smoking weed or mainlining heroin while hard working Americans pay for their dope:

It’s a sad state of affairs when the public has to actually vote on their right to pray in public places. Isn’t that covered by the First Amendment? Just in case it isn’t Texas will make sure you can worship and pray as you see fit:

Texans should be free to express their religious beliefs, including prayer, in public places.

Silly Texans. Didn’t anyone tell you that it’s government, not businesses, that creates jobs and grows the economy?

Texas should abolish the state franchise tax, also known as the margins tax, to encourage business growth.

There’s a reason why Americans all over the country are flocking to Texas in the hopes of finding the American Dream that has been lost in so many other parts of the Union.

Texas Doctor Rebels against Obamacare – Calls it Socialism

Held is an ophthalmologist who has taught at the University of Texas Health Science Center and served as the director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Brady Green Community Health Center.  Currently she works in private practice at the Stone Oak Ophthalmology Center in San Antonio.

Like every doctor in private practice, Held contracts with a number of insurance companies to provide covered services to her patients. The contracts specify the extent of covered healthcare the doctor provides and it is a signed contract.  Signed contracts cannot be altered without the agreement of both parties or so Dr. Held thought.  She and her office manager discovered by chance that Aetna had changed the terms of her contract without her knowledge or approval.  When she found out, she was irate and contacted Aetna to terminate her contract with them.  In her letter to Aetna, Held wrote:

“Obamacare, the ‘law of the land,’ contains ever-changing-at-the-whim-of-HHS, politically expedient mandates, rewards, penalties, rules and regulations with which I cannot rationally or morally treat my patients and run a practice, much-less interpret, implement, or comply.”

“Millions of Americans have lost coverage because of the healthcare law and must now shop on a defective, insecure government website and sign up for more expensive policies through Federal and State exchanges.”

“Only by logging in as a prospective patient did my office manager and I discover that Aetna was selling plans for which I am a provider — effectively selling my services without even asking, much less informing me that my services would be sold on such a site, under the auspices of new terms with which I will not comply.”

“It saddens me to think of the decreased access to care from actual physicians and the shockingly increased costs Aetna patients will now experience because of your choice to collude with big government rather than collaborate with patients and physicians.”

Last December, Dr. Held posted the following statement on her blog:

“Obamacare empowers a few political elites, their operatives, and cronies to do whatever they want to the American people on the false promise of access to ‘free’, ‘quality’ ‘medical care’, AKA tyranny-through-medicine. They write and rewrite the deceitfully-passed law for political expediency, power, and money; patients are an afterthought, an annoying impediment to their ultimate goal — socialized medicine, the keystone in the arch of Socialism. … Our current Federal government is the antithesis of all that composes American medicine and the sacred patient-doctor relationship.”

WOW!  Dr. Kristin Held hit the nail on the head with that blog.  I’ve been saying all along that Obamacare has nothing to do with providing healthcare to the American people.  Its sole purpose was to establish a socialist program that commanded the people to bow to tyranny.  Obamacare forces Americans to purchase a product whether or not they want to.  It forces employers to comply with the government dictates and it forces Christians to violate their faith.  All of these add up to one thing – socialism.

Then to top it off, Obama defiantly ignores the US Constitution and makes changes to the congressionally passed law at his slightest whim.  These are the actions of a socialist dictator that has no regard for the nation’s laws or the people.  Obamacare is a major step in gaining control over the American people and Obama is abusing that power as much as he can.

My hat goes off to Dr. Held for her boldness and standing up for American ethics.  Just think what would happen if a million other doctors terminated their contracts with various insurance companies over Obamacare; they could bring the entire Obamacare system crashing down upon itself, and hopefully take Obama and his fellow socialist Democrats with it.

EPIC: Texas Passes Bill to Train Teachers as Armed Marshals

teachersTexas legislators have sent a bill to Governor Rick Perry that allows schools to train and maintain teachers as “armed marshals” on campuses.

The bill, which had already passed the Texas house, enjoyed a bipartisan passage of 28-3 in the Texas senate.

According to the Associated Press, the bill enjoyed the strong support of Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, who “pushed lawmakers to help school districts provide teachers or other employees with special weapons and tactical response training.” Dewhurst’s pleas were echoed by smaller school districts that could not afford to hire police and other security forces for their schools.

Under the bill, trained teachers would keep a firearm in a lockbox “within immediate reach.” It allows one armed marshal per 400 students and contains provisions to hide the name of that marshal from public record, to keep him or her from being …
