Donald Trump said he will deliver on his campaign promise to enact “extreme vetting” for immigrants and refugees entering the United States.

In his first television interview since being sworn in as president, Trump said “our country has enough problems without allowing people to come in who, in many cases or in some cases, are looking to do tremendous destruction.”

“We’re going to have extreme vetting in all cases, and I mean extreme,” Trump told ABC’s David Muir Wednesday night, “And we’re not letting people in if we think there’s even a little chance of some problem.”“We are excluding certain countries, but for other countries we are going to have extreme vetting. It’s going to be very hard to come in. Right now it’s very easy to come in. It’s going to be very, very hard. I don’t want terror in this country. You look at what happened in San Bernardino, you look at what happened all over. You look at what happened in the World Trade Center, OK?”

When asked by Muir if he thought his vetting would “cause more anger among Muslims,” Trump said there’s “plenty of anger right now.”

“How can you get any more? The world is a mess. The world is as angry as it gets. The world is an angry place.”

Trump said it’s not strictly “a Muslim ban.”

“We’re talking about — no it’s not the Muslim ban,” he said. “But it’s countries that have tremendous terror, it’s countries that people are going to come in and cause us tremendous problems. Our country has enough problems without allowing people to come in who, in many cases or in some cases, are looking to do tremendous destruction.”

Jihadis have been calling for attacks on Churches and Christians during Christmas. We saw that in Berlin on December 19. Now this.

Three Christians were attacked with a knife on their way to Christmas Mass in Bramois, Switzerland. A fourth victim was found dead, he was a relative of the other three victims.

From Gates of Vienna with the Hat Tip to French website Dreuz.info:

Christians were attacked with cold steel — always the weapon of Islam — for going to Mass this Sunday morning at Our Lady of Longeborgne, Brumous.[Bramois]

On the social networks, eyewitness reports speak of a knife attack against three faithful of the Hermitage of Longeborgne — one of which was seriously wounded — who were on their way there.

One of them succeeded in crossing the roadblock made by the aggressors, and arrived in Longeborgne with his face covered in blood. He was taken to the hospital as soon as the police arrived. According to the priest, his condition was not worrisome, but another victim was reportedly found by the policemen on the ground and seriously wounded.

“There was no mass, for the faithful were stopped by a person who assaulted them. It was probably a sharp weapon,” said Father Francis, the rector of the Hermitage. One of the wounded was able to reach the holy place and was treated on the spot before being transported by the emergency services. Three people, two women and one man, were stabbed. The latter was seriously injured.

An update on Dreus.info has added another victim that was found dead:

Update Monday 26 December: Police research resulted in the body of a fourth victim, a deceased man, belonging to the same family as the other three victims at 15:30 in the bed of La Borgne.

These Christians were attacked on a holy day celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus. We keep hearing that ‘jihad’ means ‘personal struggle’. An alternate meaning is the ‘struggle for Muslims against unbelievers’.

This is jihad. Obama and others of his ilk are so afraid of calling things ‘Islamic terrorism’ when they obviously are. We’re in a war, but we didn’t even have a say in the matter. The Progressives refuse to see that Islamists have declared war on the West in general and especially on Judaism and Christianity.

Oh NO! Trump is taking an aggressive stance against Terrorists!

Rev. Peter Mullen responds to the BBC’s hand-wringing over the appointment of Gen. Flynn:

General Michael Flynn has been offered the post of national security adviser in Donald Trump’s administration. Flynn is a senior intelligence officer and during the election campaign he was vociferous in his denunciation of Hillary Clinton, even leading the chants for her to be locked up.

He is also a long-standing critic of Obama’s military policies – or what he regards as the lack of them. In particular he has called for a fiercer response to Islamic State.

He is on record as having said, “It’s rational to fear Muslims.” On the BBC’s Today Programme, the presenter Nick Robinson described Flynn’s statement as “controversial.”

So that’s the BBC’s assessment of what counts as controversial!

How so when for decades Muslims have been shooting, bombing, dispossessing and otherwise terrorising people in large numbers on three continents?

But the left wing establishment – that politically correct amalgamation of politicians, senior churchmen and huge sections of the media – insists that we shouldn’t notice the slaughter. As a priest in the Church of England, I wish we would adopt the attitude and policies of some of our best forebears.

Some of your best forbears? Of whom does he speak? England’s own KINGS have gone to war… Lead the battle, even, in the European pushback and response to Islamic Empire Building. Is THAT the example he means? We call those the Crusades, but people forget that they were more a response than an aggression.

Which ‘Best forbears’ do you mean? Surely we could agree to include Winston Churchill among them? Is that fair?

Becuase Churchill had something to say about Islam:

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. And about the ideology itself:

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedanism law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property–either as a child, a wife, or a concubine — must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. —Breitbart

Maybe he’s more inclined to siding with OTHER English forbears. Maybe people like Neville Chamberlin, with that very ‘valuable’ piece of paper and his announcement that he’d spoken with a foreigner and was promised we could have ‘peace in our time’.

Actually… that seems about right.

How HISTORY will judge this preference, we shall see. As for the rest of us, we have greater confidence in the judgment of SIR Winston Churchill than the disgraced Mr. Chamberlain.

LET Europe whine and grovel before those who would gladly conquer and destroy them.

America has OTHER Plans.

This came about, by the way, because some Christian churches were denied building where they wanted to and sued. The churches won. Congress passed the Religious Freedom law but the law can’t treat churches any different from temples or mosques or any other religious building.

The two branches of islam at war, both as barbaric. What does stopping supply to one side do? Just assists the other. Also most reports aren’t exactly reliable, iran said their embassy guards were injured in saudi airstrules in yemen in january; yet associated press and local residents said the strike was no where near.

Jihadis have been calling for attacks on Churches and Christians during Christmas. We saw that in Berlin on December 19. Now this.

Three Christians were attacked with a knife on their way to Christmas Mass in Bramois, Switzerland. A fourth victim was found dead, he was a relative of the other three victims.

Christians were attacked with cold steel — always the weapon of Islam — for going to Mass this Sunday morning at Our Lady of Longeborgne, Brumous.[Bramois]

On the social networks, eyewitness reports speak of a knife attack against three faithful of the Hermitage of Longeborgne — one of which was seriously wounded — who were on their way there.

An update on Dreus.info has added another victim that was found dead:

Update Monday 26 December: Police research resulted in the body of a fourth victim, a deceased man, belonging to the same family as the other three victims at 15:30 in the bed of La Borgne.
