Fmr. FBI Counterterrorism Agent: We’ve Received ‘Nearly Zero Help’ from U.S. Muslim Community Since 9/11

Though President Barack Obama claimed that America must “enlist Muslim communities” to combat terrorism in his Sunday evening Oval Office address, former FBI Counterterrorism Agent John Guandolo said on Monday’s Breitbart News Daily (6AM-9AM EST on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125) that since 9/11, “we collectively have received nearly zero help from the Muslim Community.”

Guandolo, who pointed out on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily that a “vast majority” of U.S. mosques and Islamic centers are a part of a much larger “jihadi network,” told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon that though Muslim community leaders “certainly give the air as if they are helping,” if one looks at the “major Islamic organizations, the major Islamic centers in the United States,” they have “condemned all of the counter-terrorism policies and they’ve gotten the government to kowtow to them, to turn only to them for advice.”

“And what advice do they give them?” Guandolo asked. “That Islam doesn’t stand for this and that everything you’re doing is the reason for what happened—9/11 is your fault because of your policies.”

As Breitbart News reported, Los Angeles CAIR director Hussam Ayloush said last week just days after the San Bernardino terrorist attacks that America is “partly responsible” for the San Bernardino terrorist attacks because “some of our foreign policy” is “fueling extremism.”

Last night, Obama said that “if we’re to succeed in defeating terrorism we must enlist Muslim communities as some of our strongest allies, rather than push them away through suspicion and hate.”

Guandolo said he doesn’t necessarily agree with the idea that “we have to work with the Muslim community in order to solve this problem here in the United States,” but “if you are going to work with the Muslim community, the U.S. government” should not be “exclusively working with Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood entities without exception” like it is doing now. Guandolo named the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the Muslim American Society.

“Those are who they’re working with and others that are Muslim Brotherhood or ideologically directly aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood,” he added, pointing out that Attorney General Loretta Lynch spoke at the Muslim Advocates—another such organization—last Thursday.

Guandolo said Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is speaking about Muslim civil rights on Monday evening at The Adams Center in Sterling, Virginia, which is associated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). He said evidence presented at the Holy Land terrorism-funding trial revealed that ISNA is “the nucleus of the Muslim Brotherhood here” and “directly funds Hamas leaders and organizations overseas.” He also pointed out that the Holy Land Foundation, the largest Islamic charity in America, was a “Hamas organization at the time it was indicted and Hamas is an inherent part of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

He said it will be nearly impossible to so successfully combat terrorists “so long as the U.S. government… emboldens and empowers Muslim Brotherhood organizations here.”

“If you expect FBI and others to aggressively pursue them, it’s not going to happen because our leaders — President, Secretary of State, national security advisers, generals at the Pentagon—are all turning to their advisers who in fact are Muslim Brotherhood leaders to say what should we and what shouldn’t we do,” he said.

Guandolo said “it gets down to the local ground level where our behavior becomes insane and we do things like” tell FBI agents to take their socks off while arresting people at mosques so “you’re arresting somebody in your socks. It’s not only insane but there’s an officer-safety issue as well.” He added there was absolutely “no real logic about what happened in San Bernardino” when the F.B.I. allowed the media to rummage through the home of the San Bernardino terrorists and said “this kind of mindset” entered the FBI because of Muslim leaders who are advising the federal government on Islam and terrorism.

Bannon mentioned that this mindset dates back to the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations and Guandolo said during the Clinton administration in the early 1990s, the Muslim Brotherhood published their “strategic plan for North America and then their implementation manual which implements the plan” in order to start “the real forward push to get their plan implemented.” He said those documents were discovered in a 2004 raid of a Hamas leaders’s home in Annandale, Virginia.

Guandolo also informed listeners that the Muslim Brotherhood has been in the United States since the 1960s because the “very first Islamic organization in America”—the Muslim Students Association—was created by the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1960s in order to “recruit Jihadis on college campuses and on every major college campus in America.”

According to Guandolo, “if you even hint at shutting them down, then you’re immediately a racist or an Islamophobe.”

“The story that is told in between is the story of an Islamic network in the U.S. that was not just established by random Muslims coming here,” he said.

He also called out Saudi Arabia for being the top financier of Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and al-Qaeda projects in the United States. Guandolo said these organizations build lavish mosques that can hold thousands of people in areas where there are only 12 Muslims because their strategy is to claim ground “up to three miles around the mosque.” He said the Saudis help these organizations purchase homes in the area at substantially above-market prices in order to “occupy that space around that mosque.”

Congress Moves to Label Muslim Brotherhood a Terrorist Group

The legislation outlines the Brotherhood’s long history of sponsoring terrorism and outlines congressional support for it to be designated a global terrorist outfit. The bill also would force Secretary of State John Kerry to explain why the Obama administration has been hesitant to label the Brotherhood a terrorist group.

The Brotherhood’s political wing has been banned in Egypt, where affiliates of the organization overthrew the government and then violently cracked down on its opposition, the United States has avoided labeling the organization a sponsor of terrorism.

Should the State Department refuse to move forward with the designation, the bill would require it to provide a justification for this policy, according to the bill.

Multiple House lawmakers spearheaded a similar effort last year, but the bill failed to become law.

This time around, Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) is heading the legislation in the Senate, while Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R., Fla.) is handling the House version of the bill, sources said.

“We have to stop pretending that the Brotherhood are not responsible for the terrorism they advocate and finance,” Cruz told the Free Beacon. “We have to see it for what it is: a key international organization dedicated to waging violent jihad. Since the Obama administration refuses to utter the words’”radical Islamic terrorism,’ and Congress owes it to the American people to tell them the truth about this threat.”

The bill also helps combat the notion that Brotherhood is a peaceful political group, Cruz said.

“This bill puts the lie to the notion that the Muslim Brotherhood is a peaceful political organization that can be a legitimate partner for America,” the lawmaker said. “In 2008 the Justice Department successfully prosecuted the largest terrorism-financing trial in American history arguing that the Muslim Brotherhood directed U.S. affiliates such as the Holy Land Foundation to provide ‘media, money and men’ to Hamas. That support was used for terrorist attacks against Americans and our allies in the Middle East. When they are capable they will try to do the same thing here.”

The bill, which includes a lengthy history of the Brotherhood’s links to radical terrorist leaders and violent incidents, concludes that “the Muslim Brotherhood meets the criteria for designation as a foreign terrorist organization.”

It would require the State Department and other agencies to determine whether the Brotherhood officially meets the requirements to be designated under U.S. law as a terrorist organization.

However, “if the Secretary of State determines that the Muslim Brotherhood does not meet the criteria,” it must submit to Congress “a detailed justification as to which criteria have not been met,” according to the bill.

Muslim Brotherhood affiliates as well as the group’s members have been listed as sponsors of terrorism in the past by the U.S. government. The terrorist group Hamas, a longtime Brotherhood affiliate, has been sanctioned for some time.

The organization garnered international headlines after its rise to power following a coup in Egypt that took down its longtime former leader. While in power, the Brotherhood cracked down on opponents and waged violent campaigns against Christians and others who opposed the group’s radical ideology.

Five countries—Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Russia—already consider the Brotherhood a terrorist organization. Israel, Canada, and the United Kingdom are examining the possibility of designating it a terrorist organization as well.

Lawmakers such as Cruz maintain that the Brotherhood poses a direct threat to U.S. national security, though the Obama administration has held meetings with the organization’s representatives.

A senior member of the Brotherhood was hosted at the White House last year, while other representatives of the group have been granted entrance to the United States. Senior U.S. officials have warned in the past that the Brotherhood both in the United States and overseas have backed terrorist acts. “I can say at the outset that elements of the Muslim Brotherhood both here and overseas have supported terrorism,” said Robert Mueller, the former director of the FBI, during testimony in 2011.

Intelligence officials have established that elements of the Brotherhood run terrorist financing operations in the United States. Much of this information, however, remains classified.

Other officials have explained that terror groups such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and al Qaeda can all trace their roots back to the Muslim Brotherhood and its leaders.

Cruz has also led congressional efforts to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps an official state sponsor of terrorism.

That bill, submitted at the end of September, would likely mitigate the impact of sanctions relief provided to Iran under the recently inked nuclear deal.

“Branches of the [Revolutionary Guard Corps] have murdered hundreds of Americans,” Cruz said in a statement at the time. “They have attacked our allies, notably Israel. They have provided material support for other designated terrorist groups, such as Hezbollah and Hamas. Yet for years the United States has sanctioned [Revolutionary Guard Corps] entities while leaving the organization itself untouched.”

TEHRAN (FNA) – A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Wednesday that Iran will continue boosting its military preparedness until it takes down Israel and sets Palestine free. “…they (the US and the Zionists) should know that the Islamic Revolution will continue enhancing its preparedness until it overthrows Israel and liberates Palestine,” IRGC’s top commander in Tehran province, Brigadier General Mohsen Kazzemeini, told operating units in Tharallah Drills in the Iranian capital on Wednesday.

“And we will continue defending not just our own country, but also all the oppressed people of the world, specially those countries that are standing on the forefront of confrontation with the Zionists,” continued the General.

Sum 250,000 Iranian Basiji (volunteer) forces in the form of 250 battalions started massive drills in Tehran on Wednesday and Thursday to practice fighting against security threats.

In relevant remarks in 2014, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei noted that criminal acts of the wolfish and child-killer Zionist regime in Gaza had revealed its true nature, and said, “Only way to solve this problem is full annihilation and destruction of the Zionist regime.”

Hamas ‘accepts terms’ of 8-year truce with Israel

TEL AVIV – Hamas’ political leadership tentatively accepted the terms of an eight-year truce with Israel, according to sources within Hamas. The sources, speaking to WND from the Gaza Strip, said Israel gave support to Egypt to accept a Hamas delegation for further talks on the proposed long-term cease-fire. After discussions in Egypt, the Hamas delegation, headed by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, will travel to Qatar and Turkey for more input on the deal, which is being brokered by former Quartet envoy and ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The Hamas sources said the current version of the truce, as accepted in theory by Hamas’s politburo, includes a Hamas pledge to stop all rocket fire from Gaza and to cease digging tunnels into Israel. Hamas also agreed not to operate within 30 meters of the Israeli border, the sources said.

In return, the Hamas sources said, Israel agreed to allow thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to enter the Jewish state for work, a detail that cannot be confirmed with Israeli diplomatic sources. The Hamas sources said Israel will allow for a larger “fishing zone” off the Gaza coast along with a corridor to connect the Gaza coastline to international waters. Israel, however, would still monitor and inspect ships in the area.

Ahmed Yusef, an adviser to Haniyeh, last weekend said significant progress had been made in reaching a long-term cease-fire.

In response to the truce reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement to the media that “there are no meetings with Hamas. There are no direct contacts, no contacts through other countries and no contacts through intermediaries.”

The statement, however, did not confirm or deny that truce proposals are in the works.

Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported while the “denial published by the prime minister’s bureau is not false” a more complex picture emerges from conversations with a number of Israeli officials, including those involved with the issue. “Israel is not holding negotiations on a cease-fire with Hamas, but it is certainly checking the feasibility of the matter,” one of the Israeli sources told Haaretz.

Gaza 2014: International media in the service of Hamas

Skewed reporting and newsroom bias served the interests of the Hamas propaganda machine.

On August 2, 2014, in the middle of the Gaza conflict, we ran the A.F. Branco cartoon that is the featured image to this post. It’s a fitting occasion to revisit the media bias that frames the international view of the 2014 Gaza conflict, as the fourth in our series looking back at our coverage. Our first three posts were:

As before, we are focusing on revisiting our contemporaneous coverage.

The international media is extremely sensitive to discussions of its bias, so much so that when, in June of 2015, the Israeli Foreign Ministry produced a comical short cartoon video poking fun at international media bias, the international media blew a gasket. The Foreign Ministry took down the video, though it was captured by others:

Was this unfair to the international media?

No, it was very fair, though overly simplified (just like the media’s coverage of Gaza). Our posts from the summer of 2014 reflected the media bias.

In that conflict, the media played a key role in covering up Hamas use of civilians as shields:

For example, this tweet exposing Hamas’ use of Gaza’s main hospital, Al-Shifa, was deleted:

As was this article by a Palestinian journalist about his interrogation down the hall from the operating room in the same hospital:

Hamas bragged about its intimidation of reporters:

This Finnish reporter accurately reported rocket fire from near Al-Shifa, but then complained when people reported about her report.

It is noteworthy that although there is a mountain of evidence of Hamas using hospitals as cover, this Finnish reporter was the only, or one of the only, to do a broadcast from the location.

Another reporter disclosed how Hamas staged a blast scene it caused to make it appear Israel was at fault — but he only made the disclosure, in his words, when he was out of Gaza and far away from Hamas:

CAMERA discovered a Wall Street Journal reporter coming to the same conclusion as the Italian reporter, but then deleting the tweet:

The reporter later claimed he deleted it because it was speculative.

And that’s how it went. Key disclosures were not made, or deleted. An those that were made, were made only after reporters left Gaza. But by that time the narrative set by Hamas through the media had been set.

For example, this report by NDTV was released only after its reporters left Gaza:

And that was the problem.

It’s not that there was zero reporting, it’s that Hamas intimidation of reporters made such reporting the exception, rather than the rule, and pushed that reporting to an after-thought.

In an after-assessment, the Foreign Press Association in Israel (and not an organization that shrinks from criticizing Israel) decried Hamas’ “blatant, incessant, forceful and unorthodox methods” to intimidate journalists.

The result was an almost total lack of on-the-ground media coverage of Hamas’ war crimes, with the coverage of casualties caused by Israeli responses to Hamas rocket fire.

Without the first part of the equation — the use of civilians and civilian structures — the second part of the equation was out of context. It allowed anti-Israel propagandists to make ridiculous claims that Israel deliberately tried to kill civilians.

Reporting from Gaza thus served a critical role in the Hamas propaganda machine. An al-Jazeera reporter was so valued by Hamas that when the final ceasefire was announced, he was lifted on shoulders in thanks:

The role of reporters on the ground was amplified by more traditional media bias against Israel in the form of selective framing of the conflict, including unquestioning acceptance of Hamas casualty reports claiming few military combatant deaths.

So yes, the international media did serve a critical role in the Hamas war machine. International pressure resulting from civilian casualties is a critical part of the Hamas war plan, but reporting how Hamas was responsible for the casualties by hiding behind and among civilians would harm the narrative. And reporters, and the media generally, thereby became complicit.

Obama Admits Lifting Sanctions Against Iran Will Help Regime Fund Terror

President Barack Obama admitted Friday that the Iran deal, which allows Tehran to access an estimated $100-150 billion dollars in frozen assets, would let the theocratic regime better finance terrorist organizations.

In attempting to defend the Iran deal, Obama told the BBC Friday that terror groups already have access to advanced weaponry, and that the nuclear accord would not change that dynamic too much. “Hezbollah for example, threatening to fire missiles at Israel, has no shortage of resources,” he said. “We have seen that even in times of distress, Iran is able to allocate resources in what it sees as its strategic priority.”

The President said that a “military option” is still available.

“Iran has proven that it is willing to change its priorities and its strategy,” Mr. Obama added. “We have sent a clear message to the Iranians – though we closed the deal, we still have not closed account. I hope that solutions will be reached diplomatically, but if necessary, there is also a military option.”

Iran has admitted that the regime funds and arms terrorist groups throughout the Middle East, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi insurgency in Yemen.

Separately, rumors surfaced Friday in Arabic media that the administration is considering removing a prominent Iran-backed Shiite militia from the U.S. list of recognized terrorist groups.

Recent remarks by Secretary of Defense Ash Carter during a visit to Baghdad on Thursday added fuel to the rumors spreading on the coming possibility of a U.S. de facto alliance with the Shiite militias.

Tension Remain High At Israeli Gaza Border

The nuclear deal reached with Iran on Tuesday is clouded by uncertainty about whether the Iranian regime will live up to its relatively weak commitments. One outcome is almost certain, however: Israel will launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran, hoping to weaken the regime and stop, or slow, its nuclear program.

Israel will attack–possibly by year’s end–because there is no other way to disrupt Iran’s advance to regional hegemony, which will become unstoppable once the deal’s provisions–especially the non-nuclear provisions–begin to take effect. Despite what the Obama administration and its media supporters are saying, there is almost no doubt that the Iran deal, should it survive Congress, will enable Iran to become a nuclear power.

President Barack Obama himself admitted as much in April, when he defended the provisional deal signed in Lausanne by admitting it allowed Iran to reach “breakout” shortly after the ten-year (now eight-year) expiration date. The only question is whether Iran will move that date forward and risk the meager diplomatic consequences of breaking the deal.

There are Israeli analysts–a minority–who believe that Israel can live in the shadow of a nuclear-armed Iran, at least for a while. After all, Israel has developed a lethal “second-strike” capacity, in the form of nuclear missiles aboard Dolphin-class submarines programmed to target Iran. That leaves the Iranian regime to weigh the odds of surviving an Israeli counterattack versus the chances of causing the end of the world as they know it. From a fanatical religious perspective, it is a win-win scenario–but cooler, or less pious, heads may prevail.

The problem is that the Iran deal goes so much further than the nuclear issue alone. The Iranians shrewdly bargained for a host of late concessions: an end to the international arms embargo, the lifting of a ban on ballistic missile technology, and an accelerated schedule of sanctions relief that will pour over $100 billion into depleted Iranian coffers. The regime knew that Obama would not walk away–that he had committed his political career to a deal, and he was already dismissing all other alternatives, severely undermining his own leverage.

Israel just might find a way to live with a nuclear Iran, but it cannot live with a nuclear Iran and an array of turbo-charged Iranian proxies on its borders.

Iran has already renewed its support for Palestinian terror groups in Gaza, and the U.S. has quietly allowed Iranian-backed Hezbollah to regroup in Lebanon, even as it has been weakened by losses in the Syrian civil war. Flush with cash, armed with advanced new weapons, and perhaps equipped with nuclear contaminants, these groups will pose an ever-greater threat to Israel’s security–and soon.

That is why the alternative that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented to Congress–and he did present an alternative to the present deal, though Obama pretended not to notice–included three provisions:

“first, stop its aggression against its neighbors in the Middle East;
second, stop supporting terrorism around the world;
and third, stop threatening to annihilate my country, Israel–the one and only Jewish state.”

None of those referred directly to the Iranian nuclear program. Obama ignored Netanyahu’s suggestions and forged ahead.

An Israeli strike might not stop the Iranian nuclear program. But it could stall that program, and create a renewed sense of vulnerability around the regime, which was near collapse as recently as 2009. Israel could also make Iran pay a direct cost for arming Hezbollah, Hamas, and other terror groups–a cost historically borne by the civilians of southern Lebanon or Gaza. It could project a conventional deterrent that would affect Iran here and now, as opposed to a nuclear deterrent whose effect might only be felt after an atomic exchange (i.e. not at all).

For Israel, the costs of such an attack on Iran–even a successful one–could be severe. It would be condemned and isolated internationally. It might suffer thousands of rocket attacks from Lebanon and Gaza. It may lose thousands of soldiers and civilians in a ground war. Obviously the consequences will be less damaging–or more bearable–if the pre-emptive strike is successful. The reason Israelis are willing to take the risk at all is twofold. First, they have done it before (Iraq 1981; Syria 2007). Second, the alternative–thanks to the Iran deal–looks far worse.

The Obama administration has done all it can to prevent an Israeli pre-emptive strike, from leaking Israeli attack scenarios to denying Israel air space over Iraq. As a result, the only realistic bombing plans–whether Israel targets Iran’s nuclear and political installations directly, or detonates an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) over the country–involve a Doolittle Raid-style attack from which Israel’s pilots will not expect to return, or a landing in Saudi Arabia. The latter was once a non-starter, but–ironically–Obama’s overtures to Iran have made it possible.

The Saudis are expected to respond to the Iran deal by seeking nuclear weapons of their own. But the monarchy could also strike an alliance with Israel–perhaps even a grand bargain. The Saudis could give Israel landing rights, logistical support, and intelligence. In return, Israel could accept Saudi Arabia’s proposal for a Palestinian state roughly along the “1967 lines”–plus Saudi control of Jerusalem’s Muslim holy sites, which would cement the royal family’s legitimacy. (Ironically, Obama, by provoking war, would enable Arab-Israeli peace.)

The clock is ticking, however. Before the Iran deal, it was thought that Israel could only carry out a pre-emptive strike in the time period before Iran actually became a nuclear power. Now, the deadlines are even shorter, and more complex. Israel would need to attack before Russian S-300 surface-to-air missiles, already sold to Iran, can be delivered and activated. It would also need to attack while Hezbollah and Hamas are still weak, war-weary and cash-strapped–i.e. before sanctions relief delivers billions to Iran’s regional war and terror efforts.

Israel must also be wary of attacking too soon. It will not attack in the next ten days, for example, because they coincide with a religious period of mourning for historic defeats. It would also make little sense for Israel to attack while Congress is debating the Iran deal.

But Israel will attack before it loses the option. It will do so because the purpose of Israeli statehood is to enable Jews to defend themselves, and not rely on the help or mercy of others.

Obama wants to build a new legacy, but Netanyahu has inherited an old legacy–one he cannot ignore.

I had to laugh when I heard that the new King of Saudi Arabia, Salmon, told the White House he wasn’t going to attend Thursday’s photo-op get together of Arab leaders. Some lesser Saudi officials will attend. The message is clear enough, so long as Obama continues to make nice with Iran, the center of the problems in the Middle East, the Saudis and the others are going to be wary of any proposal that comes out of the White House.

As far as the Middle East is concerned, Obama seems to have no idea of the history or the dynamics that affect all the actions there. His Secretary of State, Kerry, is no better. He met with Arab officials last Friday and they told him they want a defense treaty in the event they were attacked by “external forces”, something that the Congress will not approve so long as Obama is in the White House.

One would think that any President at this point would have concluded that the Palestinians have no intention of signing onto a peace treaty with the Israelis.

Writing in The New York Times on May 8, Jonathan Schanzer, vice president of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, put it bluntly, “It doesn’t matter what these politicians think now or have said in in the past. Peace between Israel and the Palestinians is not happening in the next two years.” That’s how long we all have to wait until Obama leaves office.

David P.Goldman, a Senior Fellow of the Middle East Forum, writing in Asia Times Online on May 10, spelled it out.

“It is inconvenient for diplomats to say so, but the Palestinian Authority collapsed quite some time ago,” noting that “President Mahmoud Abbas’ term in office began in 2005 and ended six years ago, and he has not called new elections for the simple reason that Hamas—the Palestinian branch of the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood—would win those elections.” These days the Egyptians label Hamas a terrorist organization and have taken steps to eliminate the Brotherhood. At least they know who the enemy is.

Obama has been antagonistic to Israel from before he was elected and has made little effort to hide it. Consider this, as Goldman notes, “Hamas fired over 4,000 rockets at Israel in 2014, prompting Israeli counterstrikes during the summer.” Its declared intention and the reason for its existence is to eliminate the State of Israel. Why are we surprised to hear that Obama wants to take the statehood issue to the United Nations, a hotbed of anti-Semitism, and has little to say of the Palestinian Authority’s assertion that it wants to drag Israel in front of the International Criminal Court for having defended itself against the attacks by Hamas!

Not only has the Saudi King sent Obama a message, but so did the Israelis when they overwhelmingly reelected Benjamin Netanyahu as their Prime Minister. “The Israelis look around the Middle East and see nothing but conflict, carnage, instability and danger,” said Schanzer. “The Obama doctrine—which includes a deliberate contraction of American power in the Middle East—has undeniably made Israel less safe.”

It has made the U.S. and the world less safe too.

One of the most obscene aspects of the Obama obsession with Iran is that, in return for any deal—which Iran would ignore and cheat—they are ready “to provide as much as $120 billion in sanctions relief to satisfy the narrow technical parameters of a nuclear deal, which would legitimize Iran as a threshold nuclear state. These funds,” said Schanzer, “will flow to Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other Iran terror proxies dedicated to Israel’s demise.”

To put all this in perspective, as Goldman reminds us, “From Israel’s standpoint, the Palestinian Authority was offered 95% of Judea and Samaria in return for a final peace agreement, and both times (at Camp David in 1999 under Ehud Barack and in 2008 under Ehud Olmert) the offer was rejected.”

“The U.N. Security Council,” said Goldman, “will punish Israel for the failure of negotiations that were meaningless to begin with, and establish a Hamas-controlled state within nine miles of the Mediterranean coast. Iran has already promised to arm West Bank Arabs, just as it armed Hezbollah and Hamas.”

Israel which has enjoyed the support of the United States since it declared its independence in 1948 is now put at risk by the first administration to deliberately turn its back on it in preference for a deal with the leading terror-sponsor, Iran, in the Middle East.

You cannot make a greater mess of the mess that already exists in the Middle East, but Obama is doing his best to add to it. What else should we expect from a President who refuses to utter words like “Islamic terrorism”?

Connecting the dots to the Texas gunmen

Both gunmen identified in the May 3 attack against the “Draw Muhammad” event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, attended the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, according to news reports. Elton Simpson and his roommate, Nadir Soofi, both were known to mosque leadership dating from 2006, although Usama Shami, chairman of the mosque’s board of trustees, claimed they stopped attending recently.

Interestingly, the imam at the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix (ICCP) is Sheikh Mahmoud Abdul-Aziz Ahmad Sulaiman, one of the so-called “flying imams,” who filed suit in March 2007 against US Airways officials for allegedly showing discrimination in removing them from a flight after the imams’ suspicious behavior raised alarm among crew and passengers. That behavior included loud praying at the gate area prior to boarding, refusal to sit in assigned seats, requests for seat belt extensions that were unnecessary and unused, and travel on one-way tickets with no checked baggage.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which was demonstrated in federal District Court to be affiliated with Hamas (the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, a designated terrorist organization as listed by Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), and its attorney, Omar Mohammedi, a former president of CAIR’s New York chapter, filed the lawsuit on behalf of the six imams, including Imam Sulaiman.

The Egyptian-born Imam Sulaiman has served since 2002 as the imam at the ICCP, which was founded in 1982 and received its tax-exempt 501(c)3 status as a religious establishment. The ICCP website openly identifies the mosque as Shariah-compliant, with reference on its donations page to paying the “zakat,” an obligatory annual tax for all Muslims that is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and of which one-eighth must go to support jihad. According to its website, the ICCP’s property is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). The trust is yet another Muslim Brotherhood affiliate, as confirmed in a 2009 ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas Dallas Division, which identified the trust as a Hamas associate.

Imam Sulaiman is a member of the Washington, D.C.-based North American Imams Federation, whose board of trustees include the Jordanian-born Imam Omar Shahin (another of the so-called “Flying Imams” and former imam of the Islamic Center of Tucson, Ariz.) and Imam Siraj Wahhaj, whose name appeared on a U.S. government list of unindicted co-conspirators for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Imam Sulaiman is a 1992 graduate of the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, where he received his doctorate with a specialization in the hadith, the accounts of the life and deeds of Islam’s founder, Muhammad. He memorized the Koran at the age of 11 and overall, has spent some 33 years in the study of Islam. Given this background, Imam Sulaiman is a very senior cleric, whose authority projects influence in the Phoenix area. Unfortunately, in April 2004, when Zuhdi Jasser, the founder and president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, organized a Muslim Rally Against Terrorism, Imam Sulaiman and other imam members of the Valley Council of Imams refused to lend their support because they refused to condemn terrorism in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Although not yet confirmed, it’s likely that the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix was the mosque where Texas gunman Elton Simpson, born in 1991 in Illinois before moving to Phoenix, was converted to Islam, reportedly while attending high school, 2005-09. It was, however, about 2006 when he began discussing the Muslim’s obligation to engage in jihad in telephone conversations recorded by the FBI. Due to the court’s apparent ignorance of the fact that the only kind of jihad discussed anywhere in Islamic Law is “war against non-Muslims,” the government failed to convict him of anything beyond making a false statement about his intention to go to Somalia to participate in jihad. Further, according to published media reports, it was in 2006 that Usama Shami, the ICCP mosque president, dates his own relationship with Simpson, who would have been converted to Islam at about that time.

The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix’s Facebook page has posted links to both the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Muslim American Society and the Islamic Community Center of Tempe (or Tempe Masjid). Although not an event linked by the ICCP, the Tempe Masjid’s Facebook page currently contains an announcement for a May 15-17 course titled “Dawn of Mercy: The Messenger in Mecca.” One of the featured speakers for that event is Siraj Wahhaj, whose name appeared on a U.S. government list of unindicted co-conspirators for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Finally, in April 2015, Imam Sulaiman figured among other local imams who condemned the Islamic State and its barbarity as somehow divorced from Islamic doctrine and singled out Fox News, which he claimed was “paid to create an animosity between people.”

At least in the case of these two jihadi gunmen, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, the formative influence of a mosque like the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix and its clerical leadership must not be overlooked, especially when their affiliations, leadership and programs are as troubling as these.

Shock video: Cornell U. dean explains how to start Islamic State club on campus (Video)

Move over, chess club, French club, and all your other useless western organizations. Make room for a club that pays homage to the great work being done by … Islamofacists?

As hard as it is to believe, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has released an undercover video of a dean at an Ivy League school detailing the steps needed to start a pro-Islamic State/pro-Hamas club on campus with an eye toward raising funds and sending care packages to the terrorist groups.

In O’Keefe’s latest video, Assistant Dean of Students Joseph Scaffido of Cornell University is captured on hidden camera advising reporter posing as a student on how to proceed. In addition, Scaffido provides information on how to bring a member of the IS to Cornell to run a “training camp,” explaining, “It’s just like bringing in a coach, to do a training on a sports team or something.”

When the Project Veritas journalist suggested that the club would support Hamas as well as ISIS, Scaffido stated:

“the University [Cornell] is not going to look at different groups and say you are not allowed to support that group. Because we don’t believe in them or something like that. I think it’s just the opposite. I think the University wants the entire community to understand what’s going on in all parts of the world.”

This new Project Veritas video shockingly and frighteningly exposes that Cornell, an esteemed and storied Ivy League University, is truly detached from reality. This is particularly egregious due to the fact that Cornell has received over $300 million in federal contracts and grants since 2000 and more than $190 million from New York state taxpayers since 2012.

“I was chilled and saddened by Dean Scaffido’s reaction and his position on the pro-ISIS club,” stated James O’Keefe, President of Project Veritas. “At the very best Scaffido’s attitude towards the proposed club is complacent and irresponsible, at the very worst he genuinely and willingly supports those sympathetic to ISIS freedom fighters, or more aptly stated: terrorists. In either case, Scaffido’s comments have placed Cornell in the hot seat. I think it is fair to say that at the very least Cornell owes the American people an explanation, if not an apology.”

Why won’t administration say attack was Islamic terrorism?

They shouted in Arabic “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Greatest) and “We are avenging the Prophet Mohammed” as they sprayed their victims with hundreds of bullets from their semi-automatic weapons.

Their “victims” were the top editorial cartoonists of the satirical Charlie Hebdo magazine, who had dared to practice their right of free speech. Their offense? Publishing cartoons deemed “offensive” by Muslim leaders around the world. The perpetrators? Islamic terrorists.

Yet in the immediate hours after the murders in Paris, the response from western leaders was scurrilously predictable in their refusal to describe the attack as an “Islamic terrorist attack.”

Phrasing the problem of “violent extremism,” as the Obama administration has done repeatedly, of being a problem exclusively of only Al Qaeda and now ISIS, is intellectually spurious and truly dangerous to our national security.

Indeed, the responses from our own president, French President Hollande and British Prime Minster David Cameron all spouted the same empty pabulum in asserting that the Paris attack had nothing to do with Islam or any religion for that matter. But the hollow comments coming from our own leaders are steeped in the stench of appeasement and cowardice.

The first comments came from Josh Earnest, the White House spokesman, who refused to even call the massacre an act of terrorism, but made sure to add the now typical non-sequitor which now routinely follows Islamic terrorist attacks, that “Islam is a religion of peace” and therefore no should associate with the “extremists” in Paris with Islam.

Then President Obama issued his own statement, but in keeping with his administration’s 6 year old prohibition on using the term “Islamic terrorism,” he simply referred to the attack as “terrorism” — a vanilla term conspicuously devoid of any descriptive term explaining the motivation behind the attack. Thus, to the proverbial Martian it literally could have been eco-terrorism, white supremacist terrorism, or narco-terrorism. (But admittedly, calling this an act of “terrorism” was a step up from the classification of Major Nidal Hassan’s similar massacre at Fort Hood as “workplace violence.”)

Then in live comments delivered later, both President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry gave blustery defenses of the U.S. determination to protect the right of free speech and vowed that neither the French nor anyone in the West would be cowed into silence by terrorism.

Secretary Kerry said as follows:

“Today, tomorrow, in Paris, in France, or across the world, the freedom of expression that this magazine, no matter what your feelings were about it, the freedom of expression that it represented is not able to be killed by this kind of act of terror.” Nice words of bravado.

I hate to disabuse our secretary of state, but indeed “freedom of expression” has indeed already been killed by acts of Islamic terrorism.

Notwithstanding the secretary’s nice words of bravado today, the views in 2012 of the Obama administration on the very same French magazine were markedly differently “We are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the prophet Muhammad, and obviously we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this,” said Jay Carney, the White House spokesman. “We know these images will be deeply offensive to many and have the potential to be inflammatory.”

The president himself, before the United Nations, revealed his own appeasement of Islamic terrorists and hoodlums when he declared in September 2012:

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Where was his moral insistence that we would never give into terrorists who would employ violence to intimidate us in suppressing our right to free speech? Just imagine if, amidst the recent North Korean campaign to intimidate Sony into not showing its film that offended North Korea, the president had stated, “The future must not belong to those who slander Kim Jong-un.”

The issue we face is not, as Islamist groups falsely claim in the United States — ironically the very ones invited to the White House, Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and State Department — that using the term Islamic terrorism connotes a generalization that all Muslims are terrorists any more than using the term “Hispanic drug cartels” means that all Hispanics are druggies or that the term “Italian mafia” means that all Italians are mobsters or that the term “German Nazis” mean that all Germans were Nazis.

The term Islamic terrorism mean just that: terrorist attacks with an Islamic motivation — whether they attempts to silence critics of Islam, impose Sharia, punish Western “crusaders,” commit genocide of non-Muslims, establish Islamic supremacy (or Caliphate), or destroy any non Muslim peoples (e.g. the Jews and Christians) that are “occupying Muslim lands.”

And so in refusing to use the term Islamic terrorism, the administration and their multiculturalist western leaders go along with the patently false charade that Islamic terrorism simply does not exist.

This has profound national security implications not only for non-Muslims, but for Muslim victims of Islamic terrorism. If you cannot name your enemy, how can you expect to defeat him? In buying into the notion that uttering the term “radical Islam” is somehow racist, the real scandal here is that our administration and other Western leaders in general are in fact taking a page out of the playbook written by Muslim Brotherhood front groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).

Those groups, in turn, are ideological derivatives in the West of the Muslim Brotherhood which itself the parent of all Islamic Sunni terrorist groups—from Al Shabab to ISIS to Al Qaeada to Hamas. And in the West, those Muslim Brotherhood front groups have managed to perpetuate one of the biggest and most dangerous national security frauds of the past 30 years: that use of the term Islamic terrorism is tantamount to a racist generalization that all Muslims are terrorist. And that any criticism of Islam means you are an Islamophobe. Four weeks ago, the United Arab Emirates, a distinctly observant Muslim country, had the courage to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and 83 other Islamist groups including CAIR in the U.S. as Islamic terrorist groups. And our reaction? To our everlasting shame, the Obama administration came to the defense of CAIR, which has been described as a front for Hamas by the FBI and was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist money laundering trial in U.S. history that resulted in the closure of the Holy Land Foundation and the conviction of its leaders for laundering money to Hamas.

Most recently, in describing ISIS, the Obama administration has categorically defined the group as having “nothing to do with Islam.” It’s time for our leaders to stop this nonsense. Islamic terrorism and extremism are brutal realities that have killed tens of thousands of people, mostly Muslims.

Islamic extremism cannot be confined to groups we don’t like. Islamic extremism is now a movement, just like fascism and communism; it spans a spectrum from Hamas to Al Shabab to the Muslim Brotherhood. And to ignore the common denominator in the motivation behind 75% of the world’s annual terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists is a sure guarantee that Wednesday’s attacks will be repeated over and over again.

Will we ever learn?

Islamist do not expect to take over America from the top down. They’re too smart for that. Instead they know to follow the examples of Adolph Hitler, Saul Alinsky and Cloward-Piven;

Brainwash the children by getting the government run schools to teach how good Islam is and indoctrinate them away from patriotism.
Scare the American people so much with terrorist attacks that they will willingly accept Sharia Law just to feel a false sense of being safe.
Move so many of your own people into the country to stress the Welfare System, destroy the economy through entitlement programs, pay no taxes, and push for the total implementation of Sharia Law as the official law of the land.
Remain patient. This won’t happen overnight.

Taking over America is then accomplished without firing a single shot. They have already expressed the same reluctance to take over America as Germany, Russia and Japan has in the past. They are very afraid of our Red-Neck brothers and sisters knowing how well armed they are. That is why they are pushing the U.N. to disarm America, and now that they have a President and Secretary of State that is enabling them to get further toward their ultimate goal, they have begun moving their people into America by the tens of thousands.

IAF strikes Gaza in response to rocket fire

Air force jets attack Hamas training facility in Khan Yunis in retaliation for rocket fired at Israel earlier Friday; attack marks first IAF strike in Gaza since military op.

The Israeli Air Force struck a Hamas training facility in the area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday night in retaliation for a rocket fired at southern Israel earlier in the day. The attack marks the first time Israel carried out an air strike in the Gaza Strip since Operation Protective Edge ended in August. No injuries were reported.

The IDF spokesperson issued a statement confirming that the IAF hit “terrorist infrastructure” belonging to Hamas’s military wing in the southern Gaza Strip.

A direct hit was detected, the statement said, adding that the “attack constituted a response to the steep trajectory rocket fire towards Israeli territory at the noon time hours.”

Earlier Friday, a Code Red siren was heard shortly before noon in the Eshkol Regional Council, an Israeli community close to the Israel Gaza border, and was soon followed by blasts, residents reported – indicating that a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in Israel.

IDF forces canvassing the area found the rocket in an open area, and no injuries or damage were reported. This is the third time a Gaza rocket has landed on the Israeli side of the border since the end of Israel and Hamas’ 50-day summer war.

The head of the Eshkol Regional Council Haim Yellin warned residents that a diplomatic approach must be taken to restore quiet in southern Israel in a remark after the code red alert this morning, “Whoever thinks that a strong IDF response is the solution for quiet in the Gaza border communities does not understand that wars are decided by politicians, who with courage can bring peace and security. After Operation Protective Edge, the country had an opportunity to establish a long-term arrangement. Instead of this, we found ourselves with a ticking clock until the next escalation and war.”

Ilan Yosef, from the Nir Yitzhak kibbutz located in the Eshkol Regional Council, said the alarm was sounded on the first day of a visit by Jewish-American parents visiting their children who had volunteered to serve in the IDF and were residing in the kibbutz.

“It caused us to jump on our feet, we ran to the shelter. We have American guests who came to visit their children who live with us as part of the Garin Tzabar program. They just arrived today to spend time with their children and we already found ourselves running to the shelter. It was very frightening and not pleasant but we did not hear an explosion and we did not receive any updates regarding a landing,” said Yosef.

Other residents of the Gaza border communities described the ongoing tension that has persisted after the deadly summer war with Hamas: “We knew it and we were waiting for this,” said Roni. “We are returning to the path. We knew it was only temporarily quiet.”

Anat Hefetz, a resident of Eshkol and member of the Future of the Western Negev organization, said, “Ever since the war ended, we have been waiting for the next war. It was known ahead of time. For four months already nothing has been done to prevent this.”

According to Hefetz, “The war ended – as if – but nothing was done to change the reality. No initiative was taken. We left the area on the other side to be controlled by Hamas. We also feel this as residents. There are always infiltrations, attempts to shoot rockets and false alarms. It does not surprise us.”

In early November another Code Red siren, indicating an incomng rocket from Gaza, was sounded duing morning hours in Israel’s Gaza-border communities. The rocket fell a few meters into Israeli territory inside the Eshkol Regional Council. A few days later, shots were fired towards the Erez border crossing, according to an initial report.

Earlier Friday, Ynet learned that Hamas has begun to renew tunnel construction within Gaza and shifted its military strategy.

According to Palestinian sources in the Strip who spoke to Ynet, after Israel allowed the flow of limited goods and materials into Gaza, a black market for mortar emerged – allowing Hamas to renew construction of concrete slabs used to line the inside of the tunnels.

US pledges $212M to Palestinians, Kerry says

CAIRO – The United States is promising $212 million in immediate assistance to the Palestinians as part of an international effort to rebuild the Gaza Strip after this summer’s 50-day war.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says people in Gaza “need our help desperately — not tomorrow, not next week, but they need it now.”

He announced the new money at a donor conference for the Palestinians in Cairo.

The Palestinians are seeking $4 billion in international aid.

Yesterday a jury in a federal court in New York found the Arab Bank – the largest lender in Jordan – liable for “knowingly supporting terrorism efforts connected to two dozen attacks in the Middle East.”

The New York Times reports:

Arab Bank, a major Middle Eastern bank with $46 billion in assets, was accused of knowingly supporting specific terrorist acts in and around Israel during the second Palestinian uprising of the early 2000s.

The verdict is expected to have a strong impact on similar legal efforts to hold financial institutions responsible for wrongdoing by their clients, even if the institutions followed banking rules, and could be seen as a deterrent for banks that conduct business in violent areas.

The plaintiffs in this case, about 300 victims of 24 terrorist attacks, said the acts had been carried out by Hamas, and accused Arab Bank of supporting the organization by handling transfers and payments for Hamas members.

The Times quotes Jonathan Schanzer of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies on the significance of the verdict.

“What this has done is it’s made the effects of American law felt in far-off places, and that is significant,” said Jonathan Schanzer, vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and a former terrorism finance analyst for the Treasury Department. “I don’t think any country, any bank, would want to be cut off from the U.S. financial sector, and they’re going to start thinking very carefully about whether they accept financial transactions” even from people or groups who are not on designated terrorist lists.

The damages were not determined and will be decided at a future trial.

Arab Bank will appeal the verdict. In her earlier coverage of the trial, Sharyl Attkission identified the issues that will be the basis of the appeal.

One strike against Arab Bank in the upcoming trial is its decision to withhold documents that the court ordered it to turn over related to customers such as Hamas and other terrorists and militant groups on the U.S. list of terrorist organizations.

Arab Bank claimed bank secrecy laws in Jordan, Lebanon and other countries bar it from turning over the material. But federal courts ruled the jury may infer guilt or wrongdoing from the bank’s failure to provide the documents.

Arab Bank has taken issue with a series of pretrial losses it has suffered in the case so far, claiming the court rulings are “inconsistent with controlling precedent as well as decisions of other district courts on key legal issues.”

Whether or not the appeal is ultimately successful the case and the verdict will add another level of accountability to banks.

Representing terror victims from Israel, the United States, Canada, Iran, and elsewhere, she files motions and seizes assets and sends warnings. She has become a menace to terrorists, putting them on their heels, forcing them and their sponsors to spend vast sums on legal fees, to stop using the Western banking industry, to smuggle cash through tunnels instead of using the banks.

In the process she has revolutionized the way the civilized world deals with terrorism. Governments that clearly back terror organizations—like Iran, Syria, North Korea, and the Palestinian Authority—have found their assets frozen, even turned over to victims. Terrorist groups, states that sponsor terror, banks that facilitate terror financing, companies that do business with terrorists—all of these have found themselves diverting attention, resources, and immense energies to dealing with high-profile lawsuits. Major corporations have discovered that they cannot operate with impunity.

Money trail reveals Islamist influence in American policy

money_trail I’m often asked how it is and why it is that Islamists have such a strong influence on American policy. The answer to that question is simple: follow the money. Here’s a perfect example.

As reported by the Algemeiner, “Questions are emerging over possible conflicts-of-interest after The New York Times highlighted Qatari funding for U.S. think tanks, including the Brookings Institute, employer of former U.S. envoy Martin Indyk, who was directly involved in recent negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.“Qatar, the small but wealthy Middle East nation, agreed last year to make a $14.8 million, four-year donation to Brookings, which has helped fund a Brookings affiliate in Qatar and a project on United States relations with the Islamic world,” according to The Times.”

If you follow the money on the campuses of many U.S .colleges and universities, you’ll find many Middle Eastern studies programs are benefactors of Saudi Arabia funding — as well as many of the mosques built in America.

But what is most disturbing about Qatar is that it is the major funding source for the Islamic terrorist group Hamas. As a matter of fact, the leader of Hamas, Khaled Meshaal, resides not in Gaza but in Qatar. Hamas chief Meshaal said on Aug 21, that “Our relationship with Qatar is not new… We appreciate Qatar’s stand, the brave political stand of its government and people,” after a meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. “Qatar’s support is not just for Hamas movement, the country extends its support to all the Palestinian people,” Meshaal said, according to local media.

And to whom did President Barack Hussein Obama release the five senior Taliban unlawful enemy combatants? Yes, to the Qataris. Let us not forget the infamous statement by Nancy Pelosi that “Hamas is a humanitarian organization” because that is what the Qataris told her. During the recent conflagration between Israel and Hamas, it was U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry who sat with Qatar and Turkey — instead of Egypt — two Islamist supporting states, to “secure” a ceasefire on behalf of Hamas. And it was a ceasefire agreement, which Hamas broke, that resulted in Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu chiding Obama to “never second guess me again.”

We shared with you here that the recent bombings in Libya by the UAE and Egypt came as Qatar provides more support to Islamic terrorists in that neighboring country — as Qatar colludes with the Muslim Brotherhood. So why with all this hard evidence are the Qataris allowed to influence an American think tank? Most disturbing, according to a report in the UK-based Telegraph, “both Qatar and Kuwait were singled out for openly, and even avidly, aiding fundraising efforts for ISIS terrorists who are currently engaged in fierce clashes with the Syrian army alongside Israel on the Golan Heights.” We’ve known Qatar is supporting ISIS for quite sometime. I suppose if Obama were to read his daily intel briefs, he’d know as well.

If it were up to me, I would cease all diplomatic relations with Qatar and expel their representatives from the U.S. I would shut down Al Uided AB outside of Doha. And I would ban all Qatar Airlines flights from entering the U.S. Any Qatari assets in the U.S. would be frozen — heck, I’d use those assets for debt reduction.

It will be interesting to see if this is a part of the Obama strategy on defeating ISIS he’ll announce on Wednesday, I know, never gonna happen under this Obama Islamist sympathetic administration. We can hope, but nothing will change.

Algemeiner says “in July, then-Israeli President Shimon Peres told United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who was visiting the region, that Israel would not stand by while Qatar continued to finance Hamas militants. In his last full day in office, Peres, a historically dovish leader, struck a defiant tone in a statement delivered to the media after meeting Ban at the President’s Residence, in Jerusalem. “Qatar does not have the right to send money for rockets and tunnels which are fired at innocent civilians,” Peres said. “Their funding of terror the must stop.”

However, I don’t believe the UN Secretary-General would give any heed to what Peres stated since Newsweek‘s Benny Avni reported that the Qatari government also paid for the UN Secretary-General’s flight through the Middle East at the time — where his first stop was Doha, where he denounced Israel’s Operation Protective Edge.

Should the Brookings Institute — a left-leaning policy think tank — return the millions of dollars it has received from Qatar? Yes, if not, it should be viewed as an agent of Hamas operating here in the United States. It is unconscionable that such a blatant conflict of interest would be allowed to occur.

Even more disconcerting, we have willingly allowed our enemies to fund their vile terrorist aims right here in America — and the frontline advocacy group for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas in America is the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) who has a posh office building right near Capitol Hill.

This sucks.

Benjamin Netanyahu: ISIS and Hamas Part of ‘the Same Savagery’

Netanyahu was making an effort to muster greater international support for Israel’s ongoing battle against Gaza’s Hamas rulers.

As reported in The Times of Israel, Netanyahu said that Hamas’s Islamist terror leadership and ISIS “are branches of the same tree.” He noted that “the entire world has been shocked by the atrocities of ISIS. You saw the beheading of an American journalist, [James] Foley. It shows you the barbarism, the savagery of these people.

“Well, we face the same savagery,” Netanyahu went on. “The people who wantonly rocket our cities and want to conduct mass killings. And when they can, they murder children, teenagers, shoot them in the head. Throw people from the sixth floor — their own people — and use their people as human shields.”

In short, said the Prime Minister, groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, and Islamic Jihad “are the enemies of peace. They are the enemies of Israel. They are the enemies of all civilized countries. And I believe they are the enemies of the Palestinians themselves.”

Netanyahu praised the Obama administration for its support, noting that the U.S. backs Israel’s demand for a demilitarized Gaza.

Netanyahu said the Hamas threat underlined his insistence on a demilitarized West Bank — something he said he has stressed to the U.S. Otherwise, he asked, “Who is going to prevent them manufacturing rockets in Nablus?”

The Islamic State is only half as strong as Hamas, he said, but “look at what it can do” in terms of terrorism. “This was not understood” previously.

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that Israel’s demand for a demilitarized Gaza picked up another ally Wednesday when French President Francois Hollande called on Hamas to be disarmed, after the terror group violated yet another ceasefire with Israel.

“We are at a critical point. France supports the Egyptian mediation,” Hollande told Le Monde in an interview. “Gaza can no longer remain like it is. The objective must be a demilitarization and a lifting of the blockade.”

Hollande called for a demilitarization of Gaza under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority (PA). Hollande’s demand is consistent with the call of the European Union’s foreign ministers, who, last month, released a statement demanding the disarming of Hamas.

Six (only six?) examples Obama is purposefully enabling the Islamist cause

The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America. How else can one rationalize the following:

The unilateral release of five senior Taliban back to the enemy while the enemy is still fighting us.
Providing weapons of support to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Egyptian government — F-16s and M1A1 Abrams tanks — but not to the Egyptian government after the Islamist group has been removed.
Negotiations with Qatar and Turkey, two Islamist-supporting countries.
Negotiations with Hamas, a terrorist group.
Returning sanction money, to the tune of billions of dollars, back to the theocratic regime led by Iran’s ayatollahs and allowing them to march on towards nuclear capability.
Obama’s evident support of Islamists in Libya.

In an operation that was again unilateral with no Congressional approval, U.S. military support and resources were given to Islamist groups fighting against Moammar Qaddafy — and we know the results of that action. Not long after, one of the groups this administration armed, Ansar al-Sharia, took responsibility for the terrorist attack and murder of our U.S .Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods, and Glenn Doherty at the Benghazi Special Mission Compound (SMC). Oh, and that same group claims it has established an Islamic caliphate in eastern Libya, based in Benghazi. Just two weeks ago, the United States of America evacuated the Libyan embassy in Tripoli due to security concerns.

But I guess it’s all hunky-dory there now, because according to the Washington Free Beacon, “The Obama administration has lifted longtime restrictions on Libyans attending flight schools in the United States and training here in nuclear science, according to a final amendment of the ban recently approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).”

“Less than two years after the deadly terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is poised to sign off on an amendment reversing the ban, which was enacted following a wave or terrorist attacks in 1980s and prevents Libyans from studying these sensitive trades in the United States.”

We just evacuated Libya due to security concerns. There can be no doubt that Libya is an Islamic terrorist sanctuary state, thanks in no uncertain terms to Obama, and now he wants them to come here and learn how to fly planes and understand nuclear science?

Ok Lucy, ‘splain this to me.

The Free Beacon says “the original law effectively disqualified all Libyan nationals and those “acting on behalf of Libyan entities” from training in “aviation maintenance, flight operations, or nuclear-related fields,” according to the ban. “The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is amending its regulations by rescinding the regulatory provisions promulgated in 1983 that terminated the nonimmigrant status and barred the granting of certain immigration benefits to Libyan nationals and foreign nationals acting on behalf of Libyan entities who are engaging in or seeking to obtain studies or training in,” the amendment states.”

DHS spokesperson S.Y. Lee who told the Free Beacon that the Obama administration is reviewing its policies towards Libya “to see how they might be updated to better align with U.S. interests” in light of its revolution.”

If I may interject here, Libya is not a stable country and there can be no alignment with U.S. interests as long as there are al-Qaida affiliated groups freely operating in that country.

Of course this action is taken when the House and Senate is away on a five-week hiatus from D.C. but at least the House Judiciary Committee responded by acknowledging, “The terror threat continues and numerous news reports document recent terror-related activities coming from Libya.”

Why wouldn’t the Obama administration allow Kurdish Peshmerga members to come to America and receive flight training so they could be given quality helicopter gunships and destroy ISIS? Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list?

Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause. You can go back and listen to his 2009 speech in Cairo, where Muslim Brotherhood associates were seated front and center.

All the circumstantial and anecdotal evidence points to that conclusion. The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals. Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state.

The Obama administration’s foreign policy doctrine is self-described as “don’t do stupid s@#t”. But I guess that all depends on what your ultimate goal is.

As ISIS wages a barbaric push across the entire Mid East and beyond, it is easy to forget that their genocidal goals are no different than Boko Haram, Al Qaeda and every Islamic foot soldier, whether Sunni or Shia.

SIGNIFICANTLY, ISIS (aka ISIL) is deeply committed to Hamas and vice versa. So, whereas ISIS exhorts blatant threats to America, rest assured, Hamas is on board. In effect, while Barack HUSSEIN Obama consorts with Hamas’s Brotherhood within his administration, Egypt’s leadership has outlawed the MB and jailed its leadership.

THE question becomes: is it any longer in doubt whose side the POTUS is on, despite this and that rhetoric?

: ANYONE who doubts the deep and abiding connections (via their fealty to Shariah law mandated jihad) between the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS – of which Hamas is the Brotherhood’s Egyptian bastard child – must take off their blinders. Forthwith.

AS ISIS (aka ISIL) lays a bloody swathe across the Mid East and Africa, rest assured, America (the rest of the west too, yet America is their foremost target) is not far behind. Pay attention to their own words, they mean every word of it. Paradoxically, while they threaten this and that…

“I say to America that the Islamic Caliphate has been established,” Abu Mosa, a spokesman for the terror group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), told VICE Media in a video interview posted online Thursday. “Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq.”

“We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House,” he added.…

don’t be fooled by the following sop “The terror group President Barack Obama threatened to strike in Iraq Thursday evening…”

Basically, the Islamist-in-Chief – and his White House surrogates – has no choice but to offer up a pittance of assistance, as mid-terms are looming and the majority of public opinion doesn’t have his back on a multiplicity of fronts, particularly as images of Islamic genocide plays out across their screens. Regardless, he has no interest, nor inclination, in defeating ISIS! Period.

IN fact, if not for Obama Inc., ISIS would not be going from strength to strength. The gory relationship is detailed within.

ADDING horror atop horror, please, don’t veer away…

According to the report, the boy was the son of a founding member of Baghdad’s Anglican church.

The ACNS added:

In an interview today, an emotional Canon Andrew White told ACNS that he christened the boy several years ago, and that the child’s parents had named the lad Andrew after him.

“I’m almost in tears because I’ve just had somebody in my room whose little child was cut in half,” he said. “I baptised his child in my church in Baghdad². This little boy, they named him after me – he was called Andrew.”

On Sunday, we also reported that ISIS murderers have now taken to burying women and children alive, in addition to systematically beheading Christian children in a campaign of terror and genocide that would make Hitler proud.

Exit questions:

Will Obama ever get off his thumb and take serious action against ISIS?
And will the world ever demand ISIS be held accountable for their crimes against humanity?
And will liberals ever take a stand against the child-murdering barbarians that make up ISIS?

YET, as mentioned above, before Americans/westerners can begin to digest the bulls eyes on their backs, they must understand that ISIS/Al Qaeda (one and the same, a terror tweak here and there) is deeply involved with Hamas’s genocidal war against Israel.

In effect, by clarifying their nexus, one exposes two linchpins: supporting Hamas is akin to supporting ISIS; both are knee deep in plans to destroy America too! Mind you, their symbiotic relationship (“detailed within”) started long before Hamas’s most recent missile war.

FOR the record, ever since ISIS/Al Qaeda et al. gained a foothold into Sinai, they have been terrorizing Israel, even though it was (mostly) kept under wraps. Not only that, if not for the fact that late Prime Minister Menachem Begin handed over the Sinai to secure “peace” with Egypt (a precursor and a precedent for the Oslo Peace/Death Accords), unprecedented in the annals of warfare. Hence, the loser, also the aggressor, was rewarded for their efforts! Fast forward to 34 years and onward, the Sinai has become the LARGEST terror haven, bar none. {side note: under Mubarak’s rule the Sinai was relatively – at least in Mid East terms – stable. Now, recall, the Islamist-in-Chief ordered Mubarak to “GO NOW”…}

As Operation Protective Edge holds in a temporary ceasefire, evidence has come out revealing the extent of the extremist Sunni group Islamic State’s (IS, formerly ISIS) involvement in the terror war against Israel from the Hamas stronghold of Gaza.

Terror organizations associated with IS and Al Qaeda have been proven to be joining the fight against Israel in Gaza, firing rockets on Israeli civilian population centers and attacking IDF troops.

On Sunday the Abdullah Azzam Brigades declared it had fired a Grad missile towards the Israeli town of Mivtahim located near southern Gaza. The announcement comes after similar ones last month by the Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis and Majlis Shura al-Mujahidin organizations.

IS terrorists have already been proven to be active in Gaza in a video uploaded by the group in July, showing them firing rockets on Israel. Perhaps more troubling is a Channel 10 report which on Sunday exposed that in recent months black IS flags have been commonly seen in Arab-Israeli towns in northern and coastal Israel, notably in the cities of Nazareth and Akko.

Since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge on July 8, the IS and Al Qaeda-associated organizations in Gaza have announced the deaths of at least 13 of their terrorists in the fighting against the IDF and Israel.

The 13 include Abdullah Awani al-Fara, Ahmed Omar Abed al-A’al, Jaber Hamdan Abu Jaber, Saeed al-Lahawani, Usa Mohammed al-Sha’ar, Yusuf Jalal Barkat, Hamza Yusuf Muamar, Eyman Abed al-Rauf al-Sheikh, Hamza Halad al-Kadi, Mohammed Hamdan, Rasam Abu A’adra, and Mohammed al-Hamida.

The list repeats Abdullah Awani al-Fara’s name to reach a total of 13, a technique being used rampantly in the manipulation of casualty figures being presented about the operation.

A video posted last Friday shows terrorists of the IS and Al Qaeda affiliated organizations active in Gaza. Masked terrorists can be seen making declarations in front of the black IS flag and firing mortar shells at Israel.

Viewer discretion is advised given that the video contains very graphic imagery of a mutilated child’s body.

LESSON LEARNED: ceding land NEVER paves the way to ultimate peace! Besides, Israel’s leader never know who will succeed the so-called “peacemaker/dealmaker”.

ALAS, the above is a lot to absorb. Sorry…but connecting the geo-political dots – with an emphasis on Islamic/Muslim Brotherhood terror – is this blogger’s specialty.

ADDING to these frightening conclusions, internalize the following: whereas Egypt has outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood – placing its leaders on trial and then some – Barack HUSSEIN Obama has ensconced many of their leadership within his administration! More specifically, they are so comfortable in their entrenchment that the Muslim Brotherhood have their own political party in America! But don’t forget this tidbit: Hillary Clinton is deeply implicated with the Muslim Brotherhood, not only while Secertary of State but for many years beforehand.

SO, the fact that the “Freedom and Justice Party” (an oxymoronic name, par excellence) has been dissolved, well, who could have foreseen this…

Egypt Court Dissolves Muslim Brotherhood Party

CAIRO—Egypt’s administrative court on Saturday dissolved the political party of the banned Muslim Brotherhood and ordered its assets liquidated, the state news agency reported.

The decision against the Freedom and Justice Party comes after a recommendation by the court’s advisory panel that noted the party’s leaders had already been accused, and in some cases convicted, of murder and inciting violence.

The recommendation added that the police investigation stated the party headquarters and offices were used to store weapons.

The Middle East news agency said the decision is final.

The court decision is part of a wider crackdown against the group and its members that landed thousands in jail, including many sentenced to death on charges of inciting violence.

The government declared the Brotherhood a terrorist group late last year, accusing it of orchestrating a wave of violence to destabilize the country after the military overthrew President Mohammed Morsi, a Brotherhood member, in the wake of mass protests against him.

The group denies the charges, and has kept up its protests against the government. Mr. Morsi himself is in jail facing a number of charges, including conspiring with foreign groups to destabilize Egypt.

The party was founded by the Brotherhood in 2011 after the overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak and it went on to dominate subsequent legislative elections.

The decision comes ahead of new parliamentary elections, the first since Mr. Morsi’s ouster, expected later this year.

In light of all the above, it becomes painfully clear that Obama Inc. is light years behind Egypt – of all places – and is inviting ISIS to attack; in the Mid East, Africa and onto America!

If this wasn’t the case,

would the Brotherhood still be part of Washington’s INNER core?
Would the Pentagon (taking its orders from the Commander-in-Chief, something which Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is fully on board with) train Syrian “rebels”, knowing full well that ISIS is part and parcel thereof?

Barack Obama is apparently very angry with Bibi Netanyahu.

We have known for some time, via hot-mic and other methods, that neither he nor his secretary of state much care for the Israeli prime minister. But – perhaps exacerbated by a multiplicity of foreign and domestic policy failures, plus atrocious poll numbers, including a recent CNN poll showing Romney beating him handily were the election held today – Obama seemed more irked than usual.

He needed someone to beat up since the world was beating him up. And the Israelis had just hugely embarrassed his secretary of state (and by extension, him) by pointing out their absurd bias in favor of Hamas in cease-fire negotiations, so absurd in fact that they outraged even Israel’s most famous liberal/left politician, Tzipi Livni, who would normally do almost anything for a chance for peace. (Ironically, the details of the pro-Hamas negotiations in which Israeli security concerns – the tunnels, demilitarization, etc. – were ignored were exposed by Barak Ravid in Israel’s most liberal newspaper, Haaretz.)

Further, they had outraged the Egyptians, who were dumped from the negotiations by Obama and Kerry in favor of Turkey and Qatar. Our administration seems to have a preference for the more extreme Islamist/Muslim Brotherhood societies, although you would think, given their professed loyalty to women’s and gay rights, these cultures would be anathema to them. Never mind. Obama is an equal opportunity narcissist and everything’s fine, unless you cross him.

Which, according to sources in Israel, is where Netanyahu found himself when the American president called to admonish him about Gaza. Obama reportedly used or implied the threat of withholding the resupply of weapons – don’t know if this includes the Iron Dome itself – if Israel didn’t fall into line and stop attacking Gaza immediately.

What Obama was doing, in effect, was saving Hamas. It’s almost mind-boggling to think, but it’s true.

The standard excuse is that if Hamas is obliterated, what replaces it will be even worse. Oh, really? ISIS or similar may be waiting in the wings to step in, but it’s doubtful if Israel (given its huge 87 percent public support for the current war) will ever let something like that happen, at least in the near future.

That is, if Israel is allowed to finish the job. Obviously, Obama is doing everything he can to make sure it’s otherwise. Part of this may stem from his deep-seated identification with the Third World, some from a buried (agnostic’s version) sympathy for Islam and some may be merely personal or fashionably anti-Semitic (see the Khalidi Tapes … oops, sorry, they’re stuck in a vault at the L.A. Times), but it’s very much there. Obama may be on the rocks, but he’s quite willing to take us all – and I mean the global all – down with him.

In the final analysis, he may be seizing on Israel-bashing as a way to distract from his failures and resurrect his reputation as a “good man.” No more callous behavior toward dead or dying veterans, no more endless lies about Obamacare, no more blindness as ISIS runs roughshod over Syria and Iraq, or Libya (his supposed triumph) turns into a giant Islamist nightmare, not to mention armies of illegal immigrants streaming over our borders in numbers no one could conceivably count and with missions no one could possibly guess.

No, it’s all Israel’s fault. See how the Jews over-reacted, killing all those innocent Arab children.

In this, of course, he will have the eager compliance of the mainstream media, who are loathe to show what Hamas really is and only reluctantly report the unprecedented lengths Israel goes not to harm civilians. But for those who are still undecided, this video (** PLEASE SEE THE VIDEO ARTICLE BELOW)– never shown on CBS or NBC, I can assure you – demonstrates exactly how Hamas deals with those who try to heed Israel’s alerts and save themselves (WARNING: HORRIFIC).

That is the Hamas Barack Obama is trying to save. Morally challenged, he and Kerry are oblivious to the obvious – that only a total victory by Israel over Hamas can save the miserable lives of the Gaza Palestinians.

Fortunately, if Obama follows through on his threats, veiled or otherwise, about restricting Israeli arms, he and his party will probably suffer mightily for it in November. Unfortunately, that is not near punishment enough.

Netanyahu to U.S.: Don’t second guess me on Hamas

WASHINGTON — Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.

Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration “not to ever second guess me again” on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be “trusted” on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

The Obama administration on Friday condemned “outrageous” violations of an internationally brokered Gaza cease-fire by Palestinian militants and called the apparent abduction of an Israeli soldier a “barbaric” action.

The strong reaction came as top Israeli officials questioned the effort to forge the truce, accusing the U.S. and the United Nations of being naive in assuming the radical Hamas movement would adhere with its terms. The officials also blamed the Gulf state of Qatar for not forcing the militants to comply.

With the cease-fire in tatters fewer than two hours after it took effect with an attack that killed two Israeli troops and left a third missing, President Barack Obama demanded that those responsible release the soldier.

Obama and other U.S. officials did not directly blame Hamas for the abduction. But they made clear they hold Hamas responsible for, or having influence over, the actions of all factions in the Gaza Strip. The language was a distinct change from Thursday when Washington was focused on the deaths of Palestinian civilians.

“If they are serious about trying to resolve this situation, that soldier needs to be unconditionally released as soon as possible,” Obama told reporters. He added that it would be difficult to revive the cease-fire without the captive’s release.

“It’s going to be very hard to put a cease-fire back together again if Israelis and the international community can’t feel confident that Hamas can follow through on a cease-fire commitment,” he said. His comment reflected uncertainty in the U.S. and elsewhere that Hamas was actually responsible for the incident or if some other militant group was to blame.

At the same time, Obama called the situation in Gaza “heartbreaking” and repeated calls for Israel to do more to prevent Palestinian civilian casualties.

Despite the collapse of the truce, Obama credited Kerry for his work with the United Nations to forge one. He lamented criticism and “nitpicking” of Kerry’s attempts and said the effort would continue.

Kerry negotiated the truce with U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon in a marathon session of phone calls over several days while he was in India on an official visit. Kerry had spent much of the past two weeks in Egypt, Israel, the West Bank and France trying to mediate a cease-fire with Qatar and Turkey playing a major role because of their close ties with Hamas.

Those efforts failed with Israel saying it could not trust Hamas and some Israelis and American pro-Israel groups complaining that the U.S. was treating the group — a foreign terrorist organization as designated by the State Department — as a friend.

Late Thursday, however, Israel accepted Kerry and Ban’s latest proposal, despite its reservations. Once the truce was violated, though, Israeli officials hit out at not only Hamas, but the United States and Qatar for its failure.

An Israeli official said the Netanyahu government viewed both Hamas and Qatar as having violated the commitment given to the U.S. and the U.N. and that it expected the international community to take practical steps as part of a “strong and swift response,” especially regarding the return of the abducted soldier.

In a phone call with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, Netanyahu vented his anger, according to people familiar with the call.

Netanyahu told Shapiro the Obama administration was “not to ever second-guess me again” and that Washington should trust his judgment on how to deal with Hamas, according to the people. Netanyahu added that he now “expected” the U.S. and other countries to fully support Israel’s offensive in Gaza, according to those familiar with the call. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter by name.

They said Netanyahu made similar points to Kerry, who himself denounced the attack as “outrageous,” saying it was an affront to assurances to respect the cease-fire given to the United States and United Nations, which brokered the truce.

RUSH: Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been convinced. I already was. Let me put it that way. I have just had the exclamation point attached to my being convinced that the Obama administration has chosen sides, and the side they’ve chosen is Hamas.

AP reports breaking news: “White House Condemns Israel for Latest Attack of UN School in Gaza Strip.” Now, the White House knows, ladies and gentlemen, that Hamas is using schools and hospitals as military outposts. Already three schools have been discovered with rockets. You remember how you found rockets in your school one day, right? Remember that time your janitor showed you. They are planting weapons that they intend to use offensively in hospitals. And they’re advertising the fact.

They’re letting the Israelis know that this is where the ammunition that they are using is being stored, schools and hospitals. This is why the Israelis are sending 20-minute warning shots before they attack. The administration knows all this. The administration knows what Hamas is doing. The administration knows where Hamas is putting its armaments. The administration knows that Hamas is killing its own children with this behavior, and yet they blame Israel.

And I’ll tell you again, there’s a predisposition to hating Israel, disliking, opposing, whatever, in this administration, there can be no doubt about it now. But then now to invoke the children again, it’s a repeat of what’s happening here at the border. The invocation of children anywhere is used to eliminate and silence and nullify any opposition. So if it is tens of thousands of children crossing our border, shut up, it’s children, for God’s sake, where is your humanity? And let them in.

So Hamas puts their own children in known targets. Israel warns at 20 minute intervals, “Get out, we’re hitting the target.” Hamas leaves their children there. “How dare Israel kill children on purpose! Damn those Israelis. They hate children.” It’s clear as a bell what is happening. This is just awful, folks. This is just plain and simple awful that this kind of attitude would be engaged in by us toward an ally. And the Drive-By Media routinely now asks every Israeli guest essentially, “So why are you killing children? Don’t you have any shame? Can’t you stop with the killing of children?” And Hamas applauds. PR victory after PR victory.

I watched this morning, does the name Hanan Ashrawi ring a bell? I’ve been watching her, she’s a Palestinian spokeswoman, and I’ve been watching her since the seventies. Imagine my shock when I learned that Peter Jennings had an affair with her during his days as a foreign correspondent, by the way, when he was posted over there back in the trench coat days. Back when every foreign correspondent had to wear the — I mean, obviously the mall had a journalism clothing outfit, store, that was only available to journalists. And in there was the approved journalist trench coat, ’cause they all wore one. Well, other things now.

But back in those days Jennings wore his trench coat, and he had an affair with Hanan Ashrawi. And I learned that ’cause I couldn’t figure out, it seemed like whenever she was on ABC there was never any criticism of the Palestinians. No matter what it was, there was never any criticism of the Palestinians or of Yasser Arafat or any of this. At any rate, I saw her on TV today, and she’s still bleeding the same old stuff. She’s out there, “Why are the Israelis killing the children, the children, do you know how many children died this morning because of the Israelis?”

I’m watching this. It’s just everywhere. So as far as these people are concerned, “The Israelis are targeting and murdering the children. How dare they!” And it’s Hamas that straps bombs to their children. It’s Hamas that puts their children in these targets. It’s Hamas that makes targets out of hospitals. Everybody knows it, and yet they continue to report a lie and then challenge every Israeli guest with the lie.

Netanyahu is not backing down, but don’t forget now, as I pointed out yesterday, they see Netanyahu as no different than your average Tea Party person. He’s a vile, hateful conservative right winger.

Is this the face of, “THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD”?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who many believe will seek to be the Democrat nominee for president in 2016, made a statement about the tactics of the terrorist group Hamas in their fight against Israel.

Hamas has been widely criticized for using women and children as shields in their bombings. They have also drawn criticism for storing their rockets and missiles in civilian areas, including schools and hospitals. This practice has led many to attack Israel for their response to Hamas in attacking these areas, though they have no choice since Hamas put their own people in harm’s way.

During a recent interview with Jorge Ramos on Fusion TV, Hillary Clinton addressed the issue of Hamas storing their missiles and rockets in these civilian areas.

The problem is, and this is something — I’m not a military planner, but Hamas puts its missiles, its rockets in civilian areas, part of it is that Gaza’s pretty small and its densely populated. They put their command and control of Hamas military leaders in those civilian areas.

Gaza is pretty small. That is Hillary Clinton’s excuse and rationale for the Hamas terrorists putting civilians in harms way.

Can Someone Explain Something to Me?

Today’s Politically INCOORECT Cartoon brought up a question I have had for a long time. “Why do the Liberal Left Press, as well as, the Leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Liberal/Democrats (LMSLD) rush to defend Islam terrorists and their murderous ways?” I do not get it. It makes no sense to me why anyone would defend these haters of all that is not Islam? It is a farce to refer to them as a religion of peace, when every aspect of their history says just the opposite.

Israel:

Israel caves into worldwide pressure and GIVES Palestinian-Hamas (a division of Muslim Brotherhood)
- the land,
- hundreds of tons of concrete to build with,
- new orchards ready for harvesting,
- food to keep their children alive,
- medical care they did not have or have to pay for,
- and a wall to separate the two.
- GAVE. GAVE. Got it yet? They GAVE it to them in order to have peace.
Hamas used the concrete to build reinforced concrete tunnels to give them illegal access into Israel in order to Kill and destroy as much of Israel as possible. Israel restrains themselves.
Hamas was the first to fire on Israel.
Israel restrains themselves by utilizing their “Iron Dome” defense system as far as long as possible.
Hamas deliberately demonstrates their complete lack of humanity and care for their children, women and elderly, by putting them in front of, and all around their military targets in order to be killed when Israel responds to their attacks by targeting ONLY military assets. Then they trot out the dead they care nothing about and lie to the Liberal Press that Israel deliberately targeted their children, women and elderly.

And the Liberal Press buys it, and then makes Israel out to be the bad guy. The only explanation I have is that they hate the Jewish people and Israel, and that Islam is the Liberal Presses executioner of people the LMSLD does not like, and in fact, hates. If anyone has any other explanation I would like to hear it.

The LMSLD Press always defends Islam terrorist organizations. The LMSLD always restrain themselves from saying anything bad about them. WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? When this has happened in the past with situations in the business world the first response is, “Who has picture of someone doing what they should have not been doing?” I don’t see that applying here.

If you have answers, I would like to heart them.

Hamas, with perhaps unwitting help from President Barack Obama, is achieving its war aim: to legitimize Islamic supremacism and Jew-hatred, and take it global. Jews are no longer safe in Europe or even in some places in the U.S.

Who now recalls that when Hamas was elected, the world responded with disgust? Hamas was on everyone’s terrorist list. Flailing, the European Union, Russia, the United Nations, and the United States asked Hamas to recognize Israel, renounce terror, and agree to live by previous agreements between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority. Hamas refused. Nevertheless, its image is much improved.

Hamas enjoys killing Israelis and Jews — “By God, we will not leave one Jew in Palestine,” one of its leaders, Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi, told Al Jazeera — but thanks to Israel’s self-defense, opportunities for that pleasure are limited. Hamas has successfully terrorized southern Israel — and more recently, central Israel — with its deliberate missile attacks on civilians; and they take satisfaction in that. But their chief aim and greatest victory is in forcing Israelis to kill Palestinians. It’s almost a matter of indifference to Hamas whether a dead child is an Israeli killed by a Hamas rocket deliberately aimed at a village or a Palestinian child killed because Israel returned fire and the launcher was located in a kindergarten. If it’s the latter, the child’s image becomes part of the psychological war on Israel.

This script has been followed year after year. Elite world opinion seems incapable of seeing the truth — that every dead Palestinian civilian (and, of course, every Israeli) is a victim of Hamas. Maybe it’s just too pleasurable to indulge in guilt-free anti-Semitism. Notice that attacks in Europe have targeted synagogues, not Israeli embassies.

Hamas has been successful at libeling Israel and stirring anti-Semitism globally. Obama ought to speak for our values and forcefully push back against this dark, spreading stain; but he doesn’t. He hasn’t spoken up for Christians persecuted throughout the world, either.

Rather than denouncing Hamas’ depravity, he has issued tepid endorsements of Israel’s right to self-defense (undermined by privately delivered warnings). Canada’s Stephen Harper, who has lately seemed, by default, the leader of the free world, was stalwart. “It is evident that Hamas is deliberately using human shields to further terror in the region.” In light of that, “Canada calls on its allies and partners to recognize that these terrorist acts are unacceptable and that solidarity with Israel is the best way of stopping the conflict.”

Obama, by contrast, has slid into the role Hamas practically scripted for him, calling the Israeli prime minister twice in three days to express his “serious concern about the growing number of casualties.”

No country on Earth takes more care to minimize civilian casualties than Israel. It sends text messages, phone calls, and even “taps on the roof” (small firecrackers) to warn residents. And no government on Earth does more to ensure that civilians will be casualties than Hamas. “They have nowhere to go!” reported a U.N. official from Gaza on PBS television. That’s because rather than building bomb shelters, schools, or homes with the 800,000 tons of concrete at its disposal, Hamas has built miles of highly sophisticated, reinforced tunnels to infiltrate Israel. The world’s tallest skyscraper in Dubai, Tablet Magazine notes, used only 110,000 tons of concrete.

Israel has taken precautions about civilians, despite being under ceaseless rocket and terror infiltration attack from Hamas for years.

Obama understands the need to fight terror. He has conducted a drone war against suspected terrorists throughout his term. The Long War Journal estimates that U.S. drones have killed 2,555 leaders and activists in terrorist groups as well as 153 civilians in Pakistan alone. The Bureau of Investigative Journalism estimates that drones have killed between 2,528 and 3,648 individuals, including as many as 948 civilians.

The U.S. has not experienced a large-scale terror attack since 2001. Obama has dispatched drones not in retaliation for attacks but on suspicion that the targets were terrorists plotting future attacks. “Turns out I’m really good at killing people,” Obama boasted to a journalist. “Didn’t know that was gonna be a strong suit of mine.”

In May of 2013, the president defended his actions at the National Defense University: “Let us remember that the terrorists we are after target civilians, and the death toll from their acts of terrorism against Muslims dwarfs any estimate of civilian casualties from drone strikes.”

Ron Dermer, the Israeli Ambassador to the US, hits hard and doesn’t let up over the course of this interview with CNN host Erin Burnett. He cites CNN for being a “disservice” to their viewers for not once mentioning the fact that the UN Secretary General just issued a statement warning people that Hamas is storing weapons in these UN schools, thus making them a target.

CNN only wants to point out that the children are dead and how tragic it is (and it is), but they are failing to see the greater atrocity. The fact is that Hamas is using these schools to house their weapons, even furthering the statement made by Prime Minister Netanyahu that “Hamas uses its people to protect its weapons.”

— Israel. Somehow these protestors fail to understand that Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups exist to destroy the State of Israel. Or is this just the face of 21st Century anti-semitism and Islamic totalitarianism? Considering the large Muslim populations in England and France, that may well be true.

But what I’m quite certain you haven’t heard or seen is the point of view from Gaza-born Arab journalist, Abd Al-Bari Atwan. According to Atwan, even Arab leaders are tired of Hamas and “pray Israel will get rid of Hamas once and for all.”

PLEASE WATCH THE FOLLOWING BROADCAST. IT IS EYE OPENING:

Consider this — it is Egypt, the largest Arab nation in the world, which is fighting against the Muslim Brotherhood — a terrorist organization that the Obama administration supported. Egypt is destroying the Hamas (Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood ) tunnels and cutting off their support. Egypt is fighting against jihadists trying to establish sanctuaries and bases of operations in the Sinai. All the while, the Obama administration is withholding Apache attack helicopter support to Egypt — yet Obama provided Mohammed Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood government with fighter aircraft and tanks. Whose side is Obama on? Whose side is the global progressive socialist Left on?

Certainly Obama and the Left are not aligned with liberty and freedom from Islamic totalitarianism and jihadism. They protest against it.

According to an AFP report on yahoo.com, “Parts of central London were brought to a standstill on Saturday as thousands of pro-Palestinians marched in protest against Israel’s offensive in Gaza, while in Paris a banned demonstration descended into violence. Organizers of the London rally claimed that “tens of thousands” of people joined the march from Prime Minister David Cameron’s office to the Israeli embassy, many of them chanting “Israel is a terror state.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated the truth simply: “We use missiles to protect our people, Hamas uses people to protect their missiles.”

Yahoo reports that “British Labour lawmaker Diane Abbott said it was the “biggest London Palestinian rally in years.” The left-wing Stop the War Coalition, one of the organizers of the march, condemned British and U.S. support for Israel as “nothing less than collusion with war crimes killing women, children and disabled people.” Sarah Colborne, director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, said the five-hour demonstration was a “chance to say enough is enough: Israel’s siege of Gaza and its occupation of Palestinian land has to end now.” “

And this is the typical liberal progressive and Islamic jihadist response: blame the victim – Israel — and support the aggressor. I suppose these same protestors believe that it’s the fault of the Iraqi Christians that they happen to live in Mosul and if they fought back against the Islamic State (IS) who wishes their destruction, they’d be in the wrong. This is just an indicator as to how effective the Islamic totalitarian propaganda machine has been in the West. We have allowed a cancer to take root in our civilization that is perpetuating a horrible lie and distortion of the truth. Sadly enough, we have individuals like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and John Kerry who continue to make comments fueling this sentiment.

You don’t hear about any protests to support Christians facing genocide in Iraq. This is the collusion between the Leftist progressives and Islamic jihadists. It is a clear a present danger for America, Israel and indeed the world. And it is precisely why the liberal Left cannot be in a position of power in our respective countries.

LOVELY: Hamas Rockets Found Hidden in UN School in Gaza

About 20 rockets suspected of being stashed by Islamist terrorists in Gaza were discovered inside of a United Nations-run school located in the Gaza Strip, according to Middle Eastern news reports.

The facility is run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which admitted in a press statement that the rockets, suspected of belonging to Hamas, were discovered during a routine building inspection.

The UNRWA officials in Gaza claim the school was vacant at the time of the shocking discovery of the rockets, but it’s not known how long they were being illegally stored in the school. UNRWA officials stated to reporters that it is investigating the incident and they condemn those responsible for using a school filled with children as an arsenal for its weapons “This is a flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law,” said UNRWA.

This discovery of suspected terrorists’ weapons is the first time a United Nations relief facility was used to store a cache of deadly weapons. They also noted that storing the weapons therein made the school children and staff targets for Israeli military forces.

Groups such as Hamas are often discovered to use women and children as shields and they have hidden their weapons caches in schools, mosques, and even private homes of non-Islamist Palestinians.

According to the organization United Nations Watch, Israel has never been a favored nation by those in charge of UN programs and the majority of its member nations. On the organization’s web site it states:

Because every proposed UN resolution is subjected to intensive review by various levels and branches of government, a direct result of the anti-Israel texts is a crippling of the UN’s ability to tackle the world’s ills.

Firing tank shells and battling Palestinian fighters on the ground, Israeli troops pushed deeper into Gaza Friday, in efforts to destroy a network of tunnels into Israel and end the barrage of rocket attacks from Hamas militants.

217 terror targets had been hit and at least 20 tunnels used by Hamas to transport rockets and weapons had been uncovered by Friday evening, the Jerusalem Post reported, citing Israel’s Channel 2 News. 33 Palestinians have been killed and some 65,000 displaced along the Gaza strip as a result of Friday’s fighting, the report said.

Israel’s ground offensive is the latest escalation after a 10-day campaign of more than 2,000 airstrikes against Gaza that failed to halt militants’ rocket fire on Israeli cities. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he told his military to prepare for a possible “significant” expansion of the operation to weaken Hamas’ military.

Netanyahu said the military’s primary goal would be to destroy underground tunnels used by Hamas to attack the Jewish State.

“Since there is no way to deal with the tunnels only from the air, our soldiers are doing it now from the ground,” Netanyahu said at the opening of an emergency cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Post reported. “We decided to launch the action after we tried all the other ways, and with an understanding that without this operation the price we will have to pay later would be much higher.”

The announcement came hours after Israeli ground troops and tanks struck more than 100 terror targets in Israel’s first major ground offensive in Gaza in just over five years.

“The ground offensive does not scare us and we pledge to drown the occupation army in Gaza mud,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a statement.

Israeli defense officials said soldiers faced little resistance during the first night of the ground operation. The military said paratroopers had already uncovered eight tunnel access points across the Gaza Strip and engaged in several gun battles with forces that ambushed them.

Forces are expected to spend a day or two staking ground within 2 miles of the border. Then, they are expected to move to the second phase, which is to destroy tunnels, an operation that could take up to two weeks.

Tanks, infantry and engineering forces were operating inside the coastal strip. The military said it targeted rocket launchers, tunnels and more than 100 other targets, and that a number of soldiers were wounded.

Israel had been reluctant to launch a ground assault for fear of endangering its own soldiers and drawing international condemnation over mounting Palestinian civilian deaths. More than 274 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, many of them children.

The offensive follows an Egyptian effort earlier this week to halt hostilities. Israel accepted the terms, but Hamas refused, demanding that Israel and Egypt first give guarantees to ease the blockade on Gaza.

Palestinian fighters attempted to infiltrate Israel Thursday night — sneaking through a tunnel from Gaza. But the militants were killed by an airstrike as they emerged inside Israel, and Netanyahu gave the order that evening for thousands of troops on standby to enter Gaza.

Israel saw its first military death of the conflict in the early hours of the ground assault. The circumstances behind the death of Staff Sgt. Eitan Barak, 20, were not made clear: Hamas’s military wing said it ambushed Israeli units in the northern town of Beit Lahiya, but Israeli media said Barak was likely killed by friendly fire.

An Israeli civilian died from mortar fire earlier in the week, and several have been wounded.

There were conflicting reports on casualties in the chaos of fighting Friday. The Israeli military said it killed nearly 20 militants in exchanges of fire. Gaza health officials said 25 Palestinians have been killed since the ground operation began, including three teenage siblings from the Abu Musallam family who were killed when a tank shell hit their home.

At the morgue, one of the victims’ faces was blackened by soot and he and his siblings were each wrapped in a white burial shroud. Their father, Ismail, said the three were sleeping when the shell struck, and that he had to dig them out from under the rubble.

Israel says it is going to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties and blames them on Hamas, accusing it of firing from within residential neighborhoods and using its civilians as “human shields.”

The streets of Gaza City were largely deserted, though some roadside vegetable vendors remained open. The sound of steady shelling could be heard across Gaza as Israel continued to strike targets from the air, and buildings shook as missiles hit.

Hamas has survived Israeli offensives in the past, including a major three-week ground operation in January 2009 from which it emerged militarily weaker, but in each case it recovered. The group controls an arsenal of thousands of rockets, some long range and powerful, and it has built a system of underground bunkers.

Egypt supports a cease-fire, but not Hamas or its conditions, which include a lifting to the siege of Gaza and completely open borders into the Sinai — where Egypt is already fighting Islamic extremists.

Prior to the Israeli Cabinet meeting, several ministers said they expected a prolonged offensive.

“We need to go in and finish the job. We need to eliminate every terrorist. They have no immunity.” said Uri Ariel, a Cabinet minister from the hardline Jewish Home party.

Two centuries ago, the great German poet Goethe said: “The hardest thing to see is what is in front of your eyes.”

It’s as true today as it was then.

The difference between Hamas and Israel couldn’t be greater, yet you wouldn’t know it when listening to some observers.

For the Non-Aligned Movement, it’s all about Gaza’s innocence and Israel’s guilt. One fine day, with nothing else to do but consider how to provoke peaceful, serene Hamas-ruled Gaza, the big, bad Israelis decided to attack.

For a fair share of the media, it’s above all a story of Palestinian suffering at the hands of Israel’s military machine.

For the protesters in Frankfurt, Germany, on Saturday, it was about equating Israel to Nazi Germany.

It’s a perfect illustration of reverse causality. Hamas triggered a war, but that’s long since forgotten, if ever it was remembered. The focus now is only on the suffering of those who are responsible for the conflict in the first place.

Indeed, Goethe was right. There are those who can’t, or won’t, see what’s right in front of them.

Ideological blinders get in the way. Or a failure of imagination about the true nature of Hamas. Or a gullibility that allows people to believe whatever the Hamas propaganda machine churns out. Or, in some cases, downright hostility to anything that Israel, the Jewish state, does.

It’s high time for moral clarity, not moral fog.

Hamas is a terrorist organization. That’s its official designation by the United States, European Union, Australia, Canada and others.

Israel is a democratic country with an independent judiciary, the rule of law, free and fair elections, and

a robust civil society.

Hamas is anti-Western, anti-Christian (and, not surprisingly, anti-Semitic), anti-gay, misogynist and anti-intellectual.

Israel is the exact opposite.

Hamas has territorial ambitions on Israel. In fact, that’s putting it too mildly: it would like to replace Israel in its entirety with a Muslim Brotherhood-ruled state.

Israel has no territorial ambitions on Hamas-ruled Gaza. To the contrary, Israel left it totally nine years ago, with the hope of never having to return.

Hamas has a vested interest in using its Gaza base for permanent confrontation with Israel.

Israel, which, alas, can’t change its geography, has a vested interest in a peaceful, moderate, and developing state on its border.

Hamas, the sole ruler of Gaza since 2007, has used the last seven years to smuggle in weaponry and develop military punch, rather than building the foundation of a responsible state.

Knowing this arsenal has been stockpiled for the sole purpose of being used against it, Israel seeks, as any nation would, to prevent Hamas from attaining its lethal goal.

Hamas has no compunction about deploying terrorist cells and weapons in civilian population centers in Gaza, fully aware that Israel would have no choice but to appear to be targeting “innocent” people.

Israel goes to unprecedented lengths to avoid falling into the Hamas trap, even phoning and dropping leaflets in advance to warn civilians to leave target areas.

Hamas cynically tells the civilian population to stay put, not to react to Israeli warnings about imminent strikes. The more Palestinian casualties, the better, as far as Hamas is concerned.

Israel makes every effort to alert its entire population, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim, to Hamas missile strikes and move people into shelters as quickly as possible.

Hamas uses mosques for storing arms.

Israel uses houses of worship, including mosques, solely for prayer.

Hamas uses schools for weapons depots.

Israel uses schools solely to educate its children, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim.

Hamas uses hospitals as terrorist redoubts.

Israel uses its hospitals solely to cure the ill and injured, including residents of Gaza who can’t find adequate care there.

Hamas aspires to kill as many Israelis as possible, with rockets fired indiscriminately in all directions.

Israel seeks out only the Hamas terrorist infrastructure, and has aborted many operations when the risks of civilian casualties were too great.

Hamas, as the record amply shows, has no compunction about falsifying information, doctoring photos, staging scenes, and inflating numbers to make its case to the outside world.

Israel, by contrast, goes to great lengths, even to the point of sometimes losing the edge in the “media race,” to verify information that it presents about its operations.

Hamas supporters explode in paroxysms of glee when Israeli targets are hit.

Israelis don’t honk horns, shoot in the air, and pass out candy for doing what they wished they didn’t have to do in the first place, and voice regret when the inevitable mistakes in warfare occur.

Hamas wouldn’t know how to spell the words “international humanitarian law,” much less adhere to it.

Israel’s defense forces have specialists in international humanitarian law assigned to every unit in an effort to ensure maximum compliance.

Hamas shouts from the rooftops that Israel is a brutal enemy.

Israel, unlike any other targeted nation in history, is actually providing — right now — up to 70 percent of Gaza’s electricity and much of its fuel and foodstuffs, even as hundreds of rockets are fired from Gaza into Israel.

Hamas celebrates death, something few Westerners can understand.

Israel celebrates life, something all Westerners should understand.

Nail meet coffin.

Where to begin? More like a helluva place to end. Because this is an ending — an ending of the United States as a force for good. An ending of the United States as a moral government. It’s the end of the United States as we have known it.

Hamas is a genocidal terror group whose charter calls for the annihilation of Israel in the first paragraph. The reason for their existence is annihilation.

The Times of Israel can write about this in even and nonchalant tones, but this is seismic.

Let us hope that the Congress steps up and stops the jihad in the White House.

“White House said ready to work with PA unity government“

Official quoted ahead of expected formation next week of Fatah- and Hamas-backed cabinet of Palestinian technocrats

TEL AVIV — A senior official in the White House reportedly said the US would cooperate with a soon-to-be-formed Palestinian unity government, despite Israeli opposition.

A unity government is set to be established within a week by Fatah, which controls the West Bank’s Palestinian areas, and Hamas, the terrorist group that governs Gaza. United States policy is not to work with Hamas unless it recognizes Israel, commits to nonviolence and abides by previous Israeli-Palestinian agreements.

Although it will have Hamas’s support, the new government will be made up of technocrats, rather than representatives of Hamas or Fatah. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has said that the new government will abide by the conditions mandated by the US.

An anonymous senior White House official told the Haaretz newspaper on Tuesday that the US would work with the new government as long as it abides by the conditions, even if it has Hamas’s support. A meeting of 28 European Union foreign ministers last week took a similar position.

“We want a Palestinian government that upholds those principles,” the White House official told Haaretz. “In terms of how they build this government, we are not able to orchestrate that for the Palestinians. We are not going to be able to engineer every member of this government.”

When the Palestinian factions announced the unity agreement in April, the Israeli government announced that it would not negotiate with any government backed by Hamas.

Israel and the US have been at odds over the collapse of the peace talks last month, with Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman saying over the weekend that the US was mistaken for blaming Israel’s continued settlement activity for the breakdown.

Addressing recent reports that US President Barack Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry and special envoy Martin Indyk have all primarily blamed the settlements for the failure, Liberman said Israel and the US are great friends and that “even good friends are [sometimes] mistaken.”

“The Americans are mistaken on the settlements. Just like they were mistaken when pushing for Palestinian elections [in 2006, which saw Hamas rise to power]. The settlements are not an obstacle to peace and never have been,” Liberman charged.

Commenting on a meeting Thursday between Israel’s chief negotiator and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Abbas in London, Liberman said Livni was “entitled to meet with whomever she wished,” and insisted that she was in London mainly on other business and not for continued efforts for peace. “There was a cabinet decision to halt talks, which Livni supported,” Liberman said.

In the wake of the Palestinian unity pact last month, Israel’s key security cabinet, of which Livni is a member, voted unanimously to suspend negotiations with the PA, saying Israel could not hold peace talks with a government supported by Hamas, an Islamic terrorist organization committed to Israel’s destruction.

On Saturday, the US State Department denied allegations that Kerry’s envoy Indyk “bashed” Israel during a private conversation at a hotel bar in Washington earlier this month, and blamed Israel solely for the failure in peace talks.

Indyk criticized both sides for the failed peace talks in a speech at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy earlier this month. Days earlier, a feature in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, reportedly based on a briefing by Indyk, quoted unnamed US officials offering a withering assessment of Netanyahu’s handling of the negotiations, indicated that Abbas has completely given up on the prospect of a negotiated solution, and warned Israel that the Palestinians will achieve statehood come what may — either via international organizations or through violence. The officials highlighted Netanyahu’s ongoing settlement construction as the issue “largely to blame” for the failure of Kerry’s July 2013-April 2014 effort to broker a permanent peace accord.

On Thursday, The New York Times published an article, quoting an unnamed US senior official, saying that Obama believes, more than any other factor, that Israeli announcements of construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem throughout the nine months of talks led to the negotiations’ collapse.

In July 2013, Kerry coaxed the Israelis and the Palestinians back to the negotiating table after a three-year hiatus, and both sides agreed to keep talking for nine months. That period expired at the end of April, and the talks collapsed with each side blaming the other for major breaches of the negotiating agreements.

“Someone please tell me why it is acceptable for any nation, or group of nations, to tell any sovereign nation what they can do with their land? Israel is God’s inheritance to His children. It is no one else’s business what they do with their land, especially with a group of terrorist thugs who claim to be a people.’

“The Palestinians never have been, not ever will be an indigenous people. They are Arabs who were run out of Saudi Arabia for trying to kill the Royal Family. They are squatters. They squatted down in Israel, and typical of Islam traditions, they lied about why they were there. Unfortunately, because most of the world’s nations are anti-Semitic, they supported the lie.’

DHS Emails Reveal U.S. May Have Terrorist “Hands Off” List

The Obama administration appears to have a terrorist “hands off” list that permits individuals with extremist ties to enter the country, according to internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents obtained by a United States Senator.

It’s unimaginable that any government would do this, but it seems like the Obama administration is constantly breaking new ground. The disturbing details of this secret initiative were made public this week by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who has obtained DHS electronic mail discussing what could be a terrorist “hands off” list. The exchange includes a 2012 email chain between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) asking whether to admit an individual with ties to various terrorist groups. The individual had scheduled an upcoming flight into the U.S., according to an announcement issued by the senator.

“….. a terrorist “hands off” list“ Oh that makes a lot of sense. Let’s see how many people we can let into our country who are determinied to destroy our country and turn it into Sharia Law.” JB

The person was believed to be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and a close associate and supporter Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, according to the mail exchange obtained by Grassley’s office. The terrorist suspect had also been in secondary inspection “several dozen times of the past several years,” the agency emails reveal, but had not undergone a secondary inspection since 2010. This seems to imply that the suspect has been on the U.S. government’s radar for some time.

It gets better. The DHS emails also reveal that this particular terrorism suspect has actually taken legal action against the U.S., presumably because authorities violated the hands off policy. The subject “has sued CBP twice in the past and that he’s one of the several hands off passengers nationwide,” according to the DHS emails obtained by Senator Grassley’s office. The documents go on to say that the terrorist’s records were removed and that the DHS Secretary (at the time Janet Napolitano) was involved in the matter.

“….has actually taken legal action against the U.S., presumably because authorities violated the hands off policy.“

This is pure insanity and the senator has tried for months to get answers from DHS. In February he wrote a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson saying this:

“I’m puzzled how someone could be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, be an associate of [redacted], say that the US is staging car bombings in Iraq and that [it] is ok for men to beat their wives, question who was behind the 9/11 attacks, and be afforded the luxury of a visitor visa and de-watchlisted. It doesn’t appear that we’ll be successful with denying him entry tomorrow but maybe we could re-evaluate the matter in the future since the decision to de-watchlist him was made 17 months ago.”

The agency’s response, dated April 10, apparently frustrated the senator enough to make the whole thing public this week. DHS let CBP Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske get back to Grassley. His letter says the agency does not have the authority to ignore information that renders an individual alien inadmissible because CBP does not have the discretionary authority to admit an inadmissible alien. “Accordingly, CBP does not have any list or other mechanism which would render an individual free of the grounds of inadmissibility or from any other inspection requirements, including secondary inspections,” Kerlikowske writes.

He goes on to pass the buck to another agency, the Department of Justice (DOJ). “The Terrorist Watchlist is maintained by the Terrorist Screening Center, which was created by the Attorney General and is administered by the Federal Bureau of Investigations,” the CBP commissioner writes. “All questions related to the watchlist should therefore be referred to the Department of Justice for response.” Kerlikowske also offers to provide the senator with a “more detailed briefing on the particular case cited in your letter, in the appropriate setting.” That means nothing will be put in writing so as to avoid any sort of future incrimination in the event the scandal blows wide open.

I won’t add anything other than I live in a state that is deep blue and was home to Mohammed Atta and several other 9-11 conspirators.

However, I do have a question for all you folks out there with a “Coexist” bumper sticker on your Prius: how many churches and synagogues are in Saudi Arabia?

Israel on Thursday afternoon announced the suspension of peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority in the wake of Wednesday’s announcement of a unity agreement between rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas.

The top-level inner cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ministers “decided unanimously that it will not negotiate with a Palestinian government that incorporates Hamas, a terrorist organization that seeks the destruction of Israel,” a statement said after an emergency meeting that lasted throughout Thursday afternoon. Israel also said it plans to introduce economic sanctions against the PA, which will reportedly include withholding tax revenues collected by Israel on behalf of the Palestinians.

Israeli officials said the government decision had been carefully worded so as not to rule out a possible resumption of peace talks if, in the next five weeks, PA President Mahmoud Abbas fails to agree with Hamas on the composition of a unity government as scheduled. At the same time, the wording was also designed to make plain that Israel will not negotiate with any Palestinian government that rests on Hamas support even if there are actually no Hamas ministers sitting around the cabinet table. Palestinian sources have said that Abbas intends to form a government of technocrats that might feature no Hamas or Fatah ministers.

A Palestinian Authority official said the PA would consider “all options” in response to Israel’s decision.

Israel had already called off a scheduled session of negotiations on Wednesday evening, soon after the unity pact was announced in Gaza.

“Instead of choosing peace, Abu Mazen [Abbas] made a deal with a murderous terror organization that calls for the destruction of Israel,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after Thursday’s meeting.

Hamas appeals to Muslims to kill Jews, has fired over 10,000 rockets at Israel, and “has not ceased for a moment from its terror activities against Israel,” Netanyahu added. “Whoever chooses Hamas’s terror does not want peace.”

The prime minister also denounced the timing of the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation, which occurred “at a time when Israel was making efforts to advance the negotiations.”

The announcement of the Palestinian unity deal is a “direct continuation of the Palestinian refusal to advance the talks,” Netanyahu said, citing what he said was the Palestinian rejection last month of a US framework agreement to extend negotiations, the refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, and Abbas’s appeal to UN agencies.

Netanyahu later said in US television interviews that the Israeli government “will be there, I’ll be there,” if there was a genuine partner for peace. But the unity pact showed that Israel had no such partner at present.

American Special Envoy Martin Indyk met in Ramallah on Thursday afternoon with Abbas and reportedly told him of US displeasure over the unity deal, which the State Department on Wednesday described as “disappointing.”

Israeli officials were quoted on Channel 2 later Thursday saying Jerusalem believes the US has been too soft on Abbas to date, as he has evaded substantive progress in the negotiations, and that the PA president would not have dared enter the unity pact with Hamas if the Obama administration had been firmer.

Earlier Thursday, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said there was no chance for Israeli-Palestinian peace as long as Abbas’s Fatah faction stuck with the reconciliation deal it signed with Hamas. He said the deal meant Israel “has no partner” to negotiate with and signified a move toward Hamas gaining greater influence in the West Bank.

Liberman said Israel wasn’t surprised by the Fatah-Hamas pact, as Abbas had tried several times to blow up the Israeli-Palestinian talks during the last few months. He also said that he expected international pressure on Israel to continue engaging in the current US-brokered peace talks, but asserted that Washington understood Jerusalem’s position. “It is clear that as soon as Abbas chose to unite with Hamas, it is impossible to make peace with Israel,” the foreign minister told Israel Radio.

On Wednesday afternoon, Hamas and Fatah announced a reconciliation deal which would see the formation of a technocratic unity government within five weeks, and new elections six months later, after years of bitter rivalry. Similar agreements have been announced several times in recent years, but not implemented.

State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki described the news as “disappointing in terms of the content as well as the timing.” Speaking shortly after Israel canceled a scheduled Wednesday evening session of talks, Psaki said that the State Department understood why Israel found it difficult to continue negotiating following the announcement. “It’s hard to see how Israel can be expected to sit down and negotiate with a group that denies its right to exist,” Psaki told reporters. She said that the State Department believes that a Hamas-Fatah reconciliation would “certainly complicate the process.”

“As long as there is a deal with Hamas and Abbas goes into the direction of an agreement with Hamas, the agreement with Israel is impossible,” Liberman said. His Yisrael Beytenu party, he said, “will not accept a [Palestinian] government that openly receives its authority from Hamas, an organization that clearly speaks about violence, terror and doesn’t recognize our right to exist and doesn’t recognize our previous agreements.”

Asked whether a unified Palestinian government wouldn’t make it easier to reach an agreement, he said that “it’s not that he [Abbas] rules over Gaza. Rather, Gaza rules over Judea and Samaria,” he said, referring to the PA-controlled West Bank.

The unity deal will lead to Hamas not only maintaining its control over the coastal strip “but also over Ramallah, Nablus and Hebron,” Liberman said.

“It is clear to everyone who can analyze the reality on the ground and knows the facts that, unfortunately, the direction is not toward peace, but toward escalation and confrontation with Israel.”

If elections were held in the Palestinian territories, as agreed by the Hamas and Fatah, Hamas would clearly win, both in Gaza and the West Bank, Liberman forecast. “There is a clear trend toward confrontation,” he said. “Hamas deals with classical terrorism; Abbas does diplomatic terror.”

There was “no doubt” that the international community will criticize Jerusalem if the peace talks collapse following the Palestinian reconciliation, and will exert pressure on Israel to continue the talks, Liberman predicted. Israel’s challenge will be to withstand these pressures, he said. “Israel will not change its positions, this I can guarantee. As long as Abbas prefers an agreement with Hamas over an agreement with Israel, we have no partner.”

The Moldovan-born foreign minister said Abbas was following the “no war, no peace… strategy of [Leon] Trotsky,” which he said the PA leader “learned at the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow” along with the heads of other “freedom-fighter” movements in the 1970s. He said Abbas would never sign a treaty with Israel, never fight, and never resign. While “Hamas engages in ‘classical terror,” said Liberman, Abbas “engages in political terror, political extortion.”

(CNSNews.com) – Ten U.S. Islamic organizations have formed a new umbrella group to serve as a “representative voice” for American Muslims, and one of their first tasks will be to carry out a census of the community.

Other focus areas for the new U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), according to speakers at the body’s launch in Washington on Wednesday, include enhancing Muslim political engagement and participation in forthcoming elections, civil rights issues, combating “Islamophobia” and having an impact on U.S. foreign and domestic policy.

Participating organizations include high-profile groups that have been dogged by controversy, such as the Muslim American Society (MAS), founded by Muslim Brotherhood members, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which was named by the Justice Department in 2007 as “unindicted co-conspirators” in its case against the Holy Land Foundation in Texas, subsequently found guilty of raising money for Hamas.

“The new national council’s first priority will be to build on Muslim citizenship rights by conducting a census of American Muslims to create a database that will be used to enhance civic and political participation in upcoming elections,” USCMO said in a statement.

CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, a participant at the launch, said that Muslim organizations in 2011 had come up with a “guesstimate” of seven to eight million Muslims in the United States.

“Opponents of the Muslim community shot down the number for political reasons, to two-and-a-half, two million, and sometimes people even said half a million,” he said.

The aim of the census project would be to determine a clear idea of the number and distribution of American Muslims, by 2016.

“Muslim voters can be swing voters in key elections, especially in 2016, and we are aiming at that election to bring a more visible participation from the Muslim community,” Awad said.

Another participant, Osama Abu Irshaid of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), said Muslims “are a growing demographic, numbering in the millions, and it is time to organize ourselves so that we can fully participate productively and efficiently in the political process.”

Abu Irshaid said American Muslims’ purchasing power exceeds $170 billion, “but we want to be more than consumers in this country.”

“We want to fully participate and engage in the civic process. We also want to ward off the evils of bigotry and Islamophobia and begin to define ourselves instead of allowing others – who don’t understand us, who fear us and even hate us – tell us how we should live and worship in this country.”

Abu Irshaid said bringing American Muslims into the political process “can only enrich American foreign policy and enrich our domestic policy as well.”

One prominent anti-Islamist Muslim described the move as “a circling of the wagons” by the nation’s top Islamist organizations.

“If they were going to start an American Islamist political party those would be the founders,” the president of the non-profit American Islamic Forum for Democracy, M. Zuhdi Jasser, said early Thursday.

The USCMO launch was a sign that Islamists were “feeling the heat,” Jasser said.

“America is both getting tuned in to their anti-American agenda as well as also realizing that far more diverse anti-Islamist American Muslim groups – like our American Islamic Leadership Coalition – can provide alternative and authentic Muslim voices beyond the Islamists.”

Although a woman emceed the event, no women were visible among the leaders of the organizations at the launch. USCMO Secretary-General Oussama Jammal said the new body’s stated priorities include “empowering women by developing and supporting their leadership skills, seeking appointment of Muslim women to leadership positions, and also involving women at all levels of our community organizations and expressions.”

The founding members of the new umbrella group are The Mosque Cares, Muslim American Society, American Muslims for Palestine, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Islamic Circle of North America, Muslim Legal Fund of America, Muslim Alliance in North America, Muslim Ummah of North America, American Muslim Alliance and the Mosque Foundation of Chicago.

How many Muslims?

The size of the Muslim American community has been a point of contention. The U.S. Census Bureau does not collect religious data, but the 2008 American Religious Identification Survey, conducted by scholars at Trinity College, found the number of American adults self-identifying as Muslims to be 1.35 million, up from 1.1 million in 2001.

In 2010, the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life put the number of Muslims in the U.S. at 2.77 million.

In his “address to the Muslim world” in Cairo the previous year, however, President Obama made reference to “nearly seven million American Muslims in our country” – drawing applause for doing so from an American Muslim leader at the time.

The seven million figure has been attributed to a CAIR-sponsored 2001 survey of leaders from a representative sample of mosques, which concluded that two million Muslims were associated with a mosque (with “association” defined as at least attending Eid, the major Islamic holiday at the end of Ramadan).

Based on that number, the survey authors concluded that “estimates of a total Muslim population of 6-7 million in America seem reasonable.”

The Islamic Society of North America states that there are “close to seven million Muslims” in the U.S.

President Obama has named Hamas adviser Robert O. Malley the senior director at the National Security Council (NSC). You may recall that Malley was foreign policy adviser to then-presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2007, and was fired from his campaign team in 2008 because of his notorious ties to Hamas, the PLO and other jihadist, anti-Israel groups.

Atlas readers are long familiar with this subversive jihad operative. As early as 2007 and 2008 (and repeatedly throughout the campaign and in my book), I warned Atlas readers of the troubling relationship between Robert O. Malley and Barack Hussein Obama.

Robert Malley told the NY Times that he had regularly been in contact with Hamas, which is designated a terrorist organization by the State Department.

2007 and further:

[Malley] was part of the American negotiating team that dealt with Yasser Arafat at Camp David. He has presented a revisionist history of those negotiations since then: presenting a view that blames Israel for the failures of the negotiations. His version has been radically at odds with the views of Americans and Israelis (including the views of American Middle East negotiator Dennis Ross-also an adviser to Obama- and President Clinton). He has spent years representing the Palestinian point of view, co-writing a series of anti-Israel articles with Hussein Agha-a former Arafat adviser. Palestinian advocate. These have appeared in the New York Review of Books a publication that has served as a platform for a slew of anti-Israel advocates from Tony Judt to the aforementioned George Soros to the authors of the Israeli Lobby book Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer. Malley has also called settlements “colonies” — implicitly condemning Israel as a “colonial” state. His writings have been so critical of Israel that the media-monitoring group CAMERA has a “dossier” on him.

In a July 2001 op-ed (titled “Fictions About the Failure at Camp David“) which was published in the New York Times, Robert Malley (whose family, as noted above, had close ties to Yasser Arafat) alleged that Israeli — not Palestinian — inflexibility had caused the previous year’s Camp David peace talks (brokered by Bill Clinton) to fail. This was one of several controversial articles Malley has written — some he co-wrote with Hussein Agha, a former adviser to Arafat – blaming Israel and exonerating Arafat for that failure.

One security official at the time said, “We are noting with concern some of Obama’s picks as advisers, particularly Robert Malley who has expressed sympathy to Hamas and Hezbollah and offered accounts of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations that don’t jibe with the facts” (here).

Because of the exposure of Malley by the blogs, he was removed from Obama’s campaign team. But the mask is off, and Obama has no need to pretend to be something he is not. Malley is back and in charge —

And where is American Jewish lay leadership on this? Too busy working with Islamic supremacist groups banning me from speaking at synagogues and Jewish groups, I am sure.

“Adviser Fired by Obama for Hamas Meeting Gets Top WH Security Job,” Judicial Watch, February 19, 2014

A radical foreign policy adviser fired by President Obama years ago for meeting with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas has been hired by the White House to be the senior director at the National Security Council (NSC).

How generous of the commander-in-chief to let bygones be bygones when it comes to this extremist, a Middle East “expert” named Robert Malley whose family had close ties to Yasser Arafat, founder of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Fatah movement. Malley was an adviser in Bill Clinton’s White House and he consistently exonerates Palestinians and condemns Israel.

Over the years he has published a number of newspaper opinion pieces urging the United States to reach out and negotiate with terrorist enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah and Muqtada al-Sadr. A website that documents the networks and agendas of the political left offers details about Malley’s scary past and provides links to the outrageous articles he’s published, including several co-written with Hussein Agha, a former adviser to Arafat.

Malley grew up in France and his Egyptian-born father was a key figure in Egypt’s communist party and a close friend of Arafat’s. His parents were fervently anti-Israel and huge supporters of several leftist revolutionary liberation movements, especially the Palestinian cause. Malley published a piece in a mainstream newspaper declaring that Israel was responsible for the failure of Bill Clinton’s peace talks with the Palestinians. Malley attended the 2000 event, which was held at Camp David because it was the site of the landmark 1978 Israeli-Egyptian peace accords.

When Obama launched his 2008 presidential campaign, he brought Malley on as a foreign policy adviser focusing on the Middle East. The then-Illinois senator reportedly dumped Malley around May for meeting with and having regular contact with Hamas, which has long been classified as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department. A London newspaper broke the story about Malley getting the boot for schmoozing it up with terrorists and U.S. media repeated the line, but Middle Eastern press published a vastly different version.

Shortly after Obama got elected president in early November, Israel’s largest news site revealed that the Arabic-language newspaper Al-Hayat reported that Hamas engaged in talks with Obama for months through his “fired” adviser. The article quotes Ahmad Yousuf, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s political advisor, saying this: “We were in contact with a number of Obama’s aides through the Internet, and later met with some of them in Gaza, but they advised us not to come out with any statements, as they may have a negative effect on his election campaign and be used by Republican candidate John McCain (to attack Obama).”

Now Malley is officially a top dog in the crucial, tremendously influential agency that advises the president on national security and foreign policy matters. The Obama-loving mainstream newspaper that reported Malley’s new position this week says his return to the White House reflects a changing U.S. role in the Middle East. “This time he will manage the fraying ties between the United States and its allies in the Persian Gulf, a job that says a lot about how America’s role in the Middle East has changed

Hamas-CAIR: Money Laundering Out of US Capital

Our law firm, the American Freedom Law Center, has been engaged in a long and drawn out lawsuit against the Hamas front group, CAIR. Hamas-CAIR has been running a global criminal money laundering operation out of the nation’s capital. “The money laundering scheme was discovered in the course of legal discovery in unrelated federal litigation arising out of allegations by five of CAIR’s former clients that CAIR defrauded them by failing to provide the legal services they had been promised. (See here for the latest update in that case.”

To avoid reporting these millions of dollars from the dubious Islamist sources and to avoid registering as an agent for a foreign sovereign as required by federal law, CAIR created a separate company called CAIR-Foundation, Inc., to serve as an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization. CAIR itself quit filing any federal tax returns from 2008-2010 and allowed the IRS to withdraw its status as a 501(c)(4), converting itself to a regular for-profit corporation. CAIR also stopped all of its operations and became simply a holding company, transferring, at least on the books, all of its employees and equipment to CAIR Foundation.

What has been revealed in discovery is devastating. I address this issue in my column today at WND, but this is the money….:

CAIR —the Largest Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas Front Group in America —is Running a Money Laundering Operation AFLC, September 20, 2013.

The largest Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group in America is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). After three years of litigation in federal court in Washington, D.C., AFLC has uncovered facts demonstrating that CAIR has been running a global criminal money laundering operation out of the nation’s capital.

The money laundering scheme was discovered in the course of legal discovery in unrelated federal litigation arising out of allegations by five of CAIR’s former clients that CAIR defrauded them by failing to provide the legal services they had been promised. (See here for the latest update in that case).

While CAIR bills itself as the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights organization, it has been named by the U.S. Department of Justice in federal litigation as a Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group and an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation criminal trial, the nation’s largest terrorism finance prosecution to date, resulting in convictions in 2008 for all five leaders of the terrorist financing ring operating as the Holy Land Foundation Muslim charity. Prison sentences ranged from 20 years to 65 years.

As brought out in the Holy Land Foundation criminal trial, CAIR founders Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad were participants in the conspiracy, although not formally charged. These two men formed CAIR in 1994 in an effort to create a front organization to further the Muslim Brotherhood goals in this country. But, like many criminal fronts, CAIR itself turns out to be a criminal organization.

Part of CAIR’s criminal operations included representing itself to be a public interest law firm created to protect the civil rights of Muslim Americans. In reality, however, CAIR has unlawfully employed non-lawyers to engage in legal services. In one case, CAIR employed a man by the name of Morris Days as its “Resident Attorney” who claimed to represent hundreds of CAIR clients in various state and federal litigation matters. In reality, CAIR and its “Resident Attorney” were not filing any actual lawsuits on behalf of these clients. Moreover, after the fraud was discovered, CAIR attempted to cover-up the whole affair with threats of litigation against the victims and finally with payoffs to other potential witnesses.

AFLC represents five of these former CAIR “clients” who had sought out CAIR’s legal services for various matters, including workplace discrimination, immigration, and family law matters. Three of these former CAIR clients are Muslims, including two African Americans and a Pakistani.

Specifically, in 2010, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi filed suit in federal court in Washington, D.C., against CAIR on behalf of these CAIR victims, alleging fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. After several years of legal discovery, which required Yerushalmi to go to court on numerous occasions to compel CAIR to turn over documents, which in turn led the court to warn CAIR’s in-house counsel, Nadhira Al-Khalili, that her conduct was unprofessional and would result in the court filing a formal Bar complaint against her if it did not cease. That case is now awaiting the court’s ruling on the extent of CAIR’s liability.

In the midst of gathering evidence to prove the plaintiffs’ case, AFLC discovered a massive criminal money laundering organization run out of CAIR’s D.C. offices. The scheme was created in 2005 by CAIR, which at the time was an IRS-approved 501(c)(4) lobbying organization. CAIR’s problem was that as a registered lobbying group it had to report to the IRS the source of funds received over $5,000. The specific problem was that CAIR was receiving millions of dollars from oil-rich Gulf Arabs, the same sources who were also financing the Muslim Brotherhood to prepare for the “Arab Spring” and even Al Qaeda operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. CAIR’s expensive headquarters in the nation’s capital was financed with a one million dollar grant from a Saudi Arabian bank. At one point, CAIR even sought one million dollars from Libya’s now dead strong man, Moamar Ghaddafi, in an effort to distribute to Muslim Americans Qurans with an Islamist translation and commentary together with Muslim Brotherhood literature.

The result is that CAIR now receives millions of dollars from foreign Islamist sources every year, but only has to report the amounts of its income and not its sources. CAIR then transfers these monies to CAIR Foundation as loans or grants, and CAIR Foundation then only has to report its source as CAIR. The result is a criminal money laundering operation that allows CAIR to funnel millions of dollars from dubious foreign sources into a lobbying group fronting as a charity without the legally required disclosure of sources.

Indeed, CAIR is so brazen about its operation that it maintains only one website for CAIR, which does not even mention CAIR Foundation. In this way, CAIR receives smaller donations from presumably Muslim Americans made payable to “CAIR,” thus allowing CAIR to decide which “CAIR” will get the money. These small U.S. donations are then deposited into CAIR Foundation’s bank account, which in turn reports these small innocuous donations to the IRS. The big money transfers from the Gulf, however, are conveniently deposited in the CAIR bank account, which does not require any disclosure of the source of the funds. This presents no problem to the Gulf Islamist terror financiers because they are obviously not looking for a U.S. tax deduction. What CAIR does not explain of course is why a Gulf Arab would be transferring these kinds of sums to a holding company that has no employees or operations.

An interesting, but as yet unanswered question is why the IRS would have registered CAIR Foundation as a legitimate 501(c)(3) organization in 2005? An even more intriguing question is why, in 2012, the IRS re-registered CAIR Foundation as a legitimate 501(c)(3) charitable organization, particularly after it had lost its status because it failed to file the organization’s federal tax reports (on IRS form 990) for three consecutive years and in light of the obvious illegal use of CAIR as a money laundering front? This, at a time when the IRS was improperly holding up conservative and pro-Israel groups’ applications for the same 501(c)(3) status causes even heightened concerns.

CAIR’s criminal financial operations raise a whole host of questions the IRS and the Department of Justice should be investigating. The obvious question to be asked now is whether the IRS can get past its politically-motivated witch hunt of the Tea Party and pro-Israel groups and whether the Department of Justice will finally prosecute CAIR and its founders for their direct and indirect involvement in the material support of terrorism.

Obama Ignores Congress – Sends $500 million Of Taxpayer Money To Hamas

Once again we are bending the rules to send money to fund terrorists and once again the media lap dogs are ignoring it. Maybe it’s just not big news anymore. It’s not like the Royals had a baby or something.

Why is it not big news when we send aid to Palestinians? I am not sure but this seems to be the norm. Remember that $4 Billion Dollar Aid package that John Kerry put together for Palestinians a couple of months ago? Probably not because it went virtually unreported just as this case will.

In the interest of National Security, Barack Obama chose to waive congressional restrictions on aid to Palestinians on Friday Afternoon. The Washington Times reports:

President Obama on Friday afternoon ordered another waiver of congressional restrictions on direct funding of the Palestinian Authority, clearing the way for more U.S. aid.

In the one-page order, Mr. Obama said he was taking the action due to the “national security interests” of the U.S. The move comes as the administration is preparing to host renewed direct talks in Washington between Palestinians and Israelis for the first time since 2010.

The president in March directed about $500 million to be sent to the Palestinian Authority, also waiving the restrictions set by Congress. At the time, Secretary of State John F. Kerry said he was seeking to move another $200 million to the Palestinians.

Some lawmakers oppose the aid, both because of sequestration budget cuts and the Palestinian Authority’s ties to the terrorist organization Hamas.

Supporting Hamas? Interesting choice. Evidently CAIR is in need of help in that task. Donations must be down.

John Kerry and Google continue to recognize Palestine as a country so it’s no surprise that this administration would want to throw countless billions of dollars at them. If I was trying to create my own country I would certainly want them to be well-funded. However, like most Americans, my budget gives me two choices: an ant farm or Sea Monkeys.

If I ever get appointed Secretary of State, however… game on.

As for waiving the congressional restrictions… Let’s turn back the clock to see if we can find a recent example of the United States waiving restrictions on aid.

We don’t have to look too hard. John Kerry recently waived restrictions on aid to Egypt. That cost us $1.3 Billion and it seems to have worked out very well. One wonders if Morsi got the money into his bank account before all of the civil unrest started. Our foreign policy is a joke.

I am not sure why we even have a legislative branch in 2013 because it’s obvious that Obama and company are going to do what they want anyway.

Whether this money eventually finds its way into the hands of terrorists, or not, is not entirely the point. Americans are sick of hearing how we need to make cuts, tighten our belts and sacrifice while our government keeps sending money elsewhere.

All expenditures need to be done with the utmost discretion now. When we put our families on budgets we have to make tough choices. If we can’t send money to Palestinians because of our own economic troubles that would be understandable. We simply don’t have the money and need to quit pretending that we do.

And once again, as for the congressional restrictions that were lifted, the laws are in place for a reason. Looking back it would seem that the restrictions would have saved us from throwing money to a bad situation in Egypt and I suspect that time will reveal the same result here.

There is not much you can do, however, with a dictatorial-minded president in office.

This is the change that Americans voted for.

Israel which has enjoyed the support of the United States since it declared its independence in 1948 is now put at risk by the first administration to deliberately turn its back on it in preference for a deal with the leading terror-sponsor, Iran, in the Middle East.

You cannot make a greater mess of the mess that already exists in the Middle East, but Obama is doing his best to add to it. What else should we expect from a President who refuses to utter words like “Islamic terrorism”?

At least in the case of these two jihadi gunmen, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, the formative influence of a mosque like the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix and its clerical leadership must not be overlooked, especially when their affiliations, leadership and programs are as troubling as these.

CAIRO – The United States is promising $212 million in immediate assistance to the Palestinians as part of an international effort to rebuild the Gaza Strip after this summer’s 50-day war.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says people in Gaza “need our help desperately — not tomorrow, not next week, but they need it now.”

He announced the new money at a donor conference for the Palestinians in Cairo.

The Palestinians are seeking $4 billion in international aid.

The unilateral release of five senior Taliban back to the enemy while the enemy is still fighting us.

Providing weapons of support to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Egyptian government — F-16s and M1A1 Abrams tanks — but not to the Egyptian government after the Islamist group has been removed.

Negotiations with Qatar and Turkey, two Islamist-supporting countries.

Negotiations with Hamas, a terrorist group.

Returning sanction money, to the tune of billions of dollars, back to the theocratic regime led by Iran’s ayatollahs and allowing them to march on towards nuclear capability.

Obama’s evident support of Islamists in Libya.

Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause. You can go back and listen to his 2009 speech in Cairo, where Muslim Brotherhood associates were seated front and center.

All the circumstantial and anecdotal evidence points to that conclusion. The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals. Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state.
