The brutal murder of 17-year-old Veronica Lee Baker in North Carolina has become another shocking crime ignored by the national media because the victim was white and the people involved in her murder are black.

While some may argue this is a local crime that should only be covered by local news, the media reports on every sleight and insult by a white person against a person of color, see the cases of Amy Cooper or the Covington kids for a couple of examples. If a white woman simply calling the police on a black person who was threatening her is national news, surely murders of white women killed by black strangers should be as well.

Baker was shot in her vehicle at a Bojangles restaurant in Garner, south of Raleigh, on Saturday night. Her car was still running when her body was found. The 9-1-1 call by the restaurant employee who found her has been released to the public.

Keyshara Michelle Deans, 19; Nezyiha Zamir Collins, 19; and Tyreek Qumay Rogers, 18, were arrested and charged with felony accessory after the fact to murder, the News & Observer reported Tuesday night. The name of the person who police believe to have pulled the trigger has not been released, as he is 17-years-old. He has been arrested.

“She didn’t deserve to get shot and killed and left in a parking lot,” Jim Baker, Veronica’s father, told local station WRAL.

The Bakers believe that the murder may have been part of a robbery.

“She was my baby. She was my baby who had a future. She had such big, big plans for her future,” said her mother, Laura Baker. “My daughter would never hurt anybody. She didn’t have a fighting chance in this. She was a good girl; she has the biggest heart.”

The Nationalist Review reports, “NBC and ABC, despite both having regional affiliates covering this story, have not issued a report on their national websites. Do you see the pattern developing? A similar chain of events followed the execution of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant, whose story was only covered by CNN after the hashtag “Say His Name” trended nationwide for a full day. Hinnant’s murder also took place in North Carolina.”

Veronica Baker was supposed to start college on Monday.

As the national media continues to race bait and paint the narrative that black people are the perpetual victims of white men, they are selectively ignoring senseless murders depending on the skin color of the suspects.

A mother in California is currently mourning the death of her only son, 18-year-old Nathan Garza, who was killed by a black man with seemingly no connection to the victim on Sunday. Garza was shot outside the Safeway in Napa County where he worked.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday that they have arrested 23-year-old Christopher “Roly” Young on suspicion of murder. Local station KTVU reports that “authorities said the two men did not appear to know each other and didn’t interact with each other before the shooting.”

Young has refused to speak to police or provide a motive for the slaying.

“I have nothing to say to him,” said Tracy Garza, the victims mother. “He doesn’t need to answer any of my questions. Nothing will bring my son back.”

The grieving mother added that “my son was a piece of me, a piece that has gone.”

Considering that any perceived “racist” incident is suddenly national news, like was the case with Amy Cooper, you would think that a seemingly random and horrific murder would be as well.

KTVU reports that Garza “graduated this past spring from Early College High School and Rodriguez High School in Fairfield and enjoyed fishing and playing baseball. He had already started training with the team at Diablo Valley College.”

The website 100% Fed Up noted, “the alleged black, male shooter did not pin the 18-year-old white male to the ground with his knee before shooting him to death, so there won’t be any riots or looting to commemorate the 18-year-old white male’s death.”

The media has also ignored the murder of 17-year-old Veronica Lee Baker in North Carolina, who was shot and killed in her vehicle over the weekend. She was white and the suspects are black.

Al Sharpton has been leading the desire for vigilante justice in Ferguson, Missouri following the shooting death, still under investigation,  of Michael Brown by We have been torn apartOfficer Darren Wilson. The Obama regime has seemingly taken sides in the matter with Eric Holder relating to the community about his personal experiences as a black man while stating that they stand with the people of Ferguson. There have even been threats that if no charges are brought against Wilson, regardless of the evidence, that there will be more violence and more riots.

Now, it looks like we potentially have our first case of a vengeance based hate crime by individuals who targeted a white guy in the name of justice for Michael Brown.

Former U.S. Marine Ralph Weems, a 32 year old white male, was left with life-threatening injuries after being followed by a mob of 20 black black men then beaten. Prior to the attack, Weems, who is a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, entered the Waffle House in West Point, Mississippi. His friend, David Knighten, said that someone waved him over and told him the restaurant was not safe for whites because the black people inside were angry over the death of Michael Brown.

When Knighten entered, he witnessed a heated argument with people in the restaurant. The two left the premises after police arrived due to another argument around 1 am. Prior to heading home, they stopped at a Huddle House restaurant and that is where the vicious beating took place.

Twenty black men had followed Knighten and Weems from the Waffle House. While the police say surveillance cameras indicate there were fewer than that, it doesn’t change the fact that these two men were beaten for the sole crime of being white.

Knighten said that he heard racial slurs coming from the mob. The Blaze reports that the AP has since removed those comments, but it was done so without any explanation.

Knighten was apparently inside the restaurant because he said Weems was on the ground being kicked by multiple attackers. The crowd then turned on Knighten who was left with broken facial bones, a cut over his left eye and a blood clot in his right eye. It was a full hour before police arrived at the scene following a 911 call at 2 am. By then the vicious mob of attackers were gone.

Weems has been placed in a medically induced coma due to the severity of his injuries after undergoing brain surgery.

Given the circumstances surrounding this attack, one would think that it would be labeled a hate crime. After all, a group of upwards of 20 black men singled out two white men for no reason other than the fact that they were angry about the Michael Brown shooting and were going to seek justice any way the could. Weems and Knighten just so happen to be the ‘wrong color’ in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But, police have already said they do not believe this was a hate crime. Police Chief Tim Brinkley said that he will leave that for a jury to decide, but thus far hate crime charges have not been brought up.straight

One suspect, Courtez McMilliam, 32, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The rest of the violent mob is still at large.

Will there be justice for Knighten and Weems? Weems fought for our country in not one, but two wars. He is hanging on to dear life due to an event that may have occurred due to the vigilante justice and desire to make someone pay brought on by the hate-filled rhetoric espoused and encouraged by MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, and Barack Obama.

If history is repeated in charges brought up in this case, it is unlikely that hate crime charges will be brought against the savages who brutally attacked Knighten and Weems. Eric Holder, the attorney general who publicly identifies as a progressive activist, said before Congress in 2009 that the hate crime statute cannot be applied in relation to crimes of black people against white people.Why is this not a hate crime

Race-House-590-CITo Holder, who was arrested while a student at Columbia University for his participation in the armed takeover of an ROTC office, it is not possible for a black person to commit a hate based crime against a white person. Only whites can commit hate crimes if they attack a black person. In fact, it doesn’t even necessarily have to be a proven fact. As we can see in Ferguson, that allegation is being made against Officer Darren Wilson with no proof thus far and before an investigation is complete.

We have witnessed the selective application of the hate crime statute recently in this country. For months, there were countless news stories of young blacks attacking white people in the ‘Knockout Game.’ The elderly were attacked. Pregnant women were attacked. In each of these instances, the victims were white and the perpetrators were black. No hate crime charges were leveled.

Where we saw hate crime charges be leveled was in the rare case of one white male who participated in the Knockout game and attacked a black man. The white man was charged with a hate crime.

Are we to believe that we live in a post-racial society when there is selective application of the law based upon the color of ones’ skin? Black thugs have gotten away with countless acts of criminality in targeting white people without being charged with a hate crime which would come with even harsher penalties.

But, again, we have progressive, race baiting activists in both the White House and the Attorney General’s office.

As former Marine Ralph Weems lies in a hospital bed fighting for his life, there is no media coverage. There is no statement by Obama. There is no outrage by Sharpton. There is no comment from Holder that he stands with Weems.

Shame on them.

Salon: ‘White Thugs Killing Black Teens’ – Time for Violent Response?

Declaring that “Florida cannot defend black life against white fear,” Brittney Cooper, a liberal, race-baiting, African American writer for Salon.com, has made the not-so-subtle suggestion that perhaps it’s time for black folks to react with violence when a court of law doesn’t rule to their satisfaction.

Based on the epidemic of media-ignored black-on-white “knockout game” attacks nationwide, it would seem that Brittney’s readers may be listening.

She rhetorically asks:

“How much more are black people in this country supposed to take?”

Citing not a single source – and while assuring us that she is a “deep believer in and practitioner of nonviolence” – Cooper nevertheless goes on (tell us where we’re wrong) to suggest that violence against whitey may be the only way “to defend black life against an onslaught of white murder.” Say what?

Asks Cooper:

“[I]n the face of unreasonable violence toward our children, why do black people owe the nation the safety of our reasonable, rational, nonviolent responses?”

Why, Brittney? Well, because both the law and good citizenship demand it for starters.

Then this doozy:

“I think we can safely and fairly assume that it is open season on black teenagers. …”

Open season, perhaps, Ms. Cooper, but check your numbers. The evidence is indisputable. White-on-black murders of teenagers are few and far between and, when they do tragically occur, they are instant front page news. On the other hand, black teens killing black teens is at epidemic levels in the U.S., and liberal rags like Salon.com turn a blind eye because it doesn’t fit your “progressive,” race-baiting narrative.

Cooper piles it higher and deeper:

“But what I see is black students their age being murdered unceremoniously in locales throughout the country, by white or non-black men, who receive insufficient justice for their crimes. …”

“Black being is the problem. Not black thuggery. Black boys officially exist in a state of social death, because the law continues to tell us that their lives, when taken by white men, are legally indefensible.”

Hyperbole much? Ms. Cooper then closes with this utterly inane, incendiary, untrue and offensive tripe:

“They [black teens] have been rendered by the law dead men walking. It’s no wonder then that in so many places they act like it.  White thuggery, meanwhile, marches on, mowing down black folks at every turn, white sheets, sight unseen.”

Shame on you, Ms. Cooper.
