Defund and leave the UN? Mike Lee, Chip Roy, Mike Rogersand Mike Rogers push legislation to do just that

Three GOP lawmakers are pushing legislation that would have the U.S. completely withdraw from the United Nations and cut off all funding to the globalist organization. Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, and Rep. Mike Rogers of Alabama are pushing the proposal, which would put the kibosh on U.S. ties to the U.N. and affiliated entities, including the World Health Organization.

“The UN doesn’t deserve one single dime of American taxpayer money or one bit of our support; we should defund it and leave immediately. I am proud to lead this critical effort alongside Mike Lee and Mike Rogers,” Roy said, according to a press release.

“No more blank checks for the United Nations. Americans’ hard-earned dollars have been funneled into initiatives that fly in the face of our values –enabling tyrants, betraying allies, and spreading bigotry,” Lee said, according to the press release. “With the DEFUND Act, we’re stepping away from this debacle. If we engage with the UN in the future, it will be on our terms, with the full backing of the Senate and an iron-clad escape clause.”

While conservatives would hail the prospect of the U.S. completely ditching the U.N., the legislation likely has no chance of advancing through Congress, as many lawmakers would probably oppose the idea of U.S. withdrawal.

“The President shall terminate all membership by the United States in the United Nations, and in any organ, specialized agency, commission, or other formally affiliated body of the United Nations,” the text of the measure reads in part.

UN calls for mass fossil fuel shutdowns to prevent ‘climate time-bomb’

The United Nations (UN) published its latest climate change report Monday which doubled down on global warming-related risks and which the intergovernmental organization dubbed a “survival guide for humanity.”

The synthesis report, assembled by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), represents the UN’s latest attempt to sound the alarm on the risks posed by climate change and not taking aggressive actions to halt global warming. According to the document, “unsustainable energy and land use” has caused the world to warm 1.1 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, close to the 1.5-degree emergency threshold.

“The rate of temperature rise in the last half century is the highest in 2,000 years,” UN Secretary-General António Guterres said in a video message Monday. “Concentrations of carbon dioxide are at their highest in at least two million years. The climate time-bomb is ticking. But today’s IPCC report is a how-to guide to defuse the climate time-bomb. It is a survival guide for humanity.”

Do you still need proof that these High Priests of Climate Change Religion thinks everyone but them are as stupid as a stump? Well, ask yourself some questions. #1) Has mankind kept climate records over the last two million years? NO? Then how could they make such an asinine statement?

#2) Is man really capable of changing the climate temperature of the EARTH? According to one source (was not able to find any other definitive answers) the total cubic feet of air space around the Earth is approximately 512,222, 461, 000, 000(?) cubic feet. Really???? By making the Draconian changes these self appointed High Priests have planned, is it going to change ANYTHING more that our freedom?

When is “ENOUGH, ENOUGH?

“As it shows, the 1.5-degree limit is achievable. But it will take a quantum leap in climate action,” he continued. “This report is a clarion call to massively fast-track climate efforts by every country and every sector and on every timeframe. In short, our world needs climate action on all fronts — everything, everywhere, all at once.”

The report stated that every additional increment of warming that occurs will result in “rapidly escalating hazards” for humanity.

For example, it warned that climate change will spur more intense heatwaves, heavier rainfall and other extreme risks to human health and ecosystems. And food insecurity will increase while additional conflicts and pandemics will be harder to manage, the report said.

“Mainstreaming effective and equitable climate action will not only reduce losses and damages for nature and people, it will also provide wider benefits,” IPCC Chair Hoesung Lee said in a statement. “This Synthesis Report underscores the urgency of taking more ambitious action and shows that, if we act now, we can still secure a liveable sustainable future for all.”

“Transformational changes are more likely to succeed where there is trust, where everyone works together to prioritise risk reduction, and where benefits and burdens are shared equitably,” Lee added. “We live in a diverse world in which everyone has different responsibilities and different opportunities to bring about change. Some can do a lot while others will need support to help them manage the change.”

JOHN KERRY’S SECRET CCP NEGOTIATIONS PROBED BY GOP OVERSIGHT CHAIRMAN

The IPCC report further called for a massive investment in clean energy and an immediate phasing out of fossil fuels across the world. The UN also called on Western nations to boost the amount of capital and financing they devote to climate investments.

During the most recent UN climate conference in November, nations committed to billions of dollars worth of climate finance for developing countries and rallied to call on private investors to boost climate financing.

However, fossil fuels coal, oil and natural gas still account for the vast majority of worldwide energy consumption, according to the latest International Energy Agency data. The three sources produce nearly 70% of all global energy and a large majority of electricity generation which accounts for another 17% of energy produced.

“Every country must be part of the solution,” Guterres added Monday. “Demanding others move first only ensures humanity comes last. The Acceleration Agenda calls for a number of other actions. Specifically: No new coal and the phasing out of coal by 2030 in OECD countries and 2040 in all other countries. Ending all international public and private funding of coal.”

“Ceasing all licensing or funding of new oil and gas – consistent with the findings of the International Energy Agency,” he continued. “Stopping any expansion of existing oil and gas reserves. Shifting subsidies from fossil fuels to a just energy transition. Establishing a global phase down of existing oil and gas production compatible with the 2050 global net-zero target.”

Trump Notches Another Pre-Inauguration Jobs Victory

President-Elect Donald Trump apparently was not idly boasting when he said his victory would result in a constant stream of wins for American jobs. On Wednesday, President-Elect Donald Trump announced a decision by Sprint to bring 5,000 jobs back to the United States. President-Elect Donald Trump said Sprint officials called him to tell him that 5,000 jobs that were overseas are coming back to America.

President-Elect Donald Trump said he also learned OneWeb, a new Internet company, is going to be hiring 3,000 people. President-Elect Donald Trump did not indicate what states the jobs would be located in.

But it is another sign that Trump relishes his role as the chief economic-development officer for the United States.

Trump Stands Behind Israel

President Elect Donald Trump is not mincing words while criticizing the current White House Administration. After Secretary of State John Kerry’s speech to the Israeli people about the recent United Nations decision condemning Israeli settlement activity Trump to social social media to speak his mind. The President Elect wrote “We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect.” He went on to say, ” They used to have a great friend in the U.S., but not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (U.N.)! Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!”
In other remarks from his Florida estate at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said he received a call from President Obama.

“He called me, we had a very nice conversation,” said Trump. “We had a general conversation. Very, very nice.”

The call came after Trump and Obama clashed in public with Trump proclaiming the transition was not smooth. Trump has been complaining about decisions that Obama has been making, mainly abstaining from a resolution at the United Nations to condemn Israeli settlements on the West Bank.

Trump criticized the U.N. for not living up to its potential, and suggested U.S. membership and funding was a waste of time.

Twelve Reasons Why The Paris Climate Talks Are A Total Waste

waving flagby James Delingpole  30 Nov 2015

Over the next 10 days, 140 world leaders – including Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and David Cameron – will descend on Paris to join 40,000 delegates at the UN’s COP21 climate conference.

Here is why they might just as well not have bothered.

1. There has been no ‘global warming’ since 1997

monckton1

So, of all the children round the world currently being taught in schools about the perils of man-made global warming, not a single one has lived through a period in which the planet was actually warming.

2. The polar bears are doing just great.

As they have been for the last five decades, during which time their population has increased roughly five-fold. So why does the IUCN still classify them as “vulnerable”? Because the environmentalists needed a cute, fluffy white poster-child for their “the animals are dying and it’s all our fault” campaign, and the snail darter and the California delta smelt just didn’t cut it. So various tame conservation biologists came up with all sorts of nonsense about how polar bear populations were dwindling and how the melting of the ice floes would jeopardize their ability to feed themselves etc. How can you tell a conservation biologist is lying? When his lips move.Settled-Science-600-LA

3. Antarctica is growing.

According to the greenies, this just wasn’t meant to happen. But it is. Even NASA admits this.

4. The Maldives aren’t sinking

Or, if they are, their government is responding in a very odd way. Just a few years back, they were staging photos of their Cabinet meeting underwater to symbolize how threatened they were by “climate change” – a problem that could only be cured, apparently, with the donation of large sums of guilt money from rich Western industrialized nations. But a few months ago they completed work on their 11th international airport. So that all the climate refugees caused by global warming can escape quickly, presumably.Ponzi Scheme

5. Ocean acidification is a myth

If I were an eco-Nazi I would seriously think about killing myself at this point. Ocean acidification was supposed to be their Siegfried Line – the final line of defense if, as has grown increasingly obvious over the last few years, “anthropogenic global warming” theory proved to be a busted flush. But it turns out that ocean acidification is as big a myth as man-made climate change.

a) it’s based on dubious, possibly even fraudulent, research and

b) if anyone’s acidifying the ocean it’s those wretched bloody coral reefs

Solid-Foundation-600-wLogo6. The alarmist climate scientists are talentless low-lives who cannot be trusted

Possibly there are exceptions to this rule, somewhere. But just look at NASA GISS, NOAA and the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia/Hadley Centre at the Met Office – three of the main organizations responsible for maintaining the world’s temperature data sets.

NASA has been caught red handed turning cooling trends into warming trends. NOAA is currently under Congressional investigation for its mendacious, politicized attempts to pretend that the “Pause” in global warming doesn’t exist. The CRU was ground zero of the Climategate scandal. The Met Office is a joke. Yet these shysters have the gall to demand that the world’s leaders take urgent action on the basis of their dodgy data.hysteria

7. Winter Is Coming

Sunspot activity is diminishing in a manner worryingly similar to that experienced during the Maunder Minimum (1645 to 1715) when ice fairs were staged on the River Thames and the Dalton Minimum  (1790 to 1830) which gave us Napoleon’s retreat from Moscow and the Year Without A Summer. Some scientists are predicting the imminent return of a Little Ice Age.

8. CO2 is greening the planet

The Sahel region in Africa is getting greener and more fertile. This is something we should be celebrating, not trying clumsily and expensively to prevent.

9. There has been no increase in “extreme weather events”.

Who says so? The IPCC in its most recent Assessment Report. Droughts, heatwaves, heavy rain events, cyclones, storms: they just haven’t increased in the alarmists assured us they would.

10. People are losing interest in global warming.

A) they don’t believe it’s a real threat,

b) they keep being reminded of things that ARE real threatsBaal Worship

11. $1.5 trillion is a lot of money to pay every year for a problem that doesn’t exist

This, according to Climate Change Business Journal, is how much it costs every year to “combat climate change.”  $1,500,000,000,000 may not sound like a lot of money when the world’s polar bears, not to mention “the children of the future” are at stake. But you’d be surprised: spend $1,500,000,000,000 here and $1,500,000,000,000 there and pretty soon you’re talking serious money.Cloward Pevin with explanation

12. It will make (almost) no difference

If all the world’s leading nations stick to the carbon-reduction commitments they will make in Paris this week, then they will stave off “global warming” by the end of this century by 0.170 degrees C. Oh – and that’s the optimistic scenario, calculated by Bjorn Lomborg, assuming that countries like, say, China don’t lie or cheat about how much CO2 they’re burning secretly.

His more pessimistic – ie more realistic – scenario is that the best we can hope for is a reduction in global warming by the end of the century of 0.048 degrees C.

This temperature reduction – five hundredths of one degree – is so small as to be almost immeasurable. But if you want to know what it feels like, Willis Eschenbach has done the calculations. It’s the equivalent of walking five metres higher up a mountain. Or, if you prefer, climbing two flights of stairs.

And there you have it: the lunacy of the Paris climate conference in one sentence: $1.5 trillion every year till the end of the century to effect the equivalent of walking to your bedroom.

Slovakian Government Refuses to Cave to UN’s Demands to Take in Muslims—Says They Will Only Take in Persecuted Christians

The Slovakian government will now be accepting Christians who are persecuted by Muslims. The UN is telling Slovakia that they must, as well, take in Muslims, but Slovakia is firmly responding: ‘We will only take Christians!’

Interior ministry spokesman Ivan Metik said that Muslims would not feel at home in Slovakia because there are no mosques in the nation. He said:

We could take 800 Muslims but we don’t have any mosques in Slovakia so how can Muslims be integrated if they are not going to like it here?

Babar Baloch, Central Europe spokesman for the UN’s refugee agency (UNHCR), said:

Resettlement is greatly needed for many refugees who are at extreme risk among the world’s most vulnerable groups. …We encourage governments to take an inclusive approach while considering refugees for resettlement and should not base their selection on discrimination.

But Slovakia is still sticking with what it wants, and that is persecuted Christians.

UN Declares Another Worldwide War On Biblical Ethics

by

The UN is doing something evil. It must be a day that ends in “Y.”

Having already acted as a willing tool of the US State Department Eugenics policy, pretending to endorse the freedom of mothers to murder babies or not (i.e. “abortion rights), while in fact openly bribing and coercing population reduction, this latest move by the United Nations is not that big a deal relatively. It is just one more monstrosity on top of many other monstrosities. Still it is worth noting, since it will surely be used for propaganda purposes in the United States. Fox News reports:

“Amid a surge of anti-gay violence and repression in several countries, the United Nations’ human rights office on Friday launched its first global outreach campaign to promote tolerance and greater equality for lesbians, gays, transgender people and bisexuals. Called Free & Equal, it’s an unprecedented effort by the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights to change public attitudes around the world on issues that have bitterly divided the U.N.’s own member states.”

In my opinion, this will ultimately prove to be a good thing if the UN pushes this. It will prove to the global world that, no matter how much money and power we possess in the Western world, and no matter what lovely promises we make, that we are a force for evil that needs to be resisted.

In fact, the UN is openly circumventing the will of its constituents and doing the will of a rich minority to brainwash the poor majority:

“Radcliffe said funding for Free & Equal is being provided by outside contributors, and is not reliant on U.N. funds, thus skirting any possible opposition from U.N. members who oppose gay-rights activism.”

Remember, even in Kenya, a country where residents regard President Obama as a kind of Superhero, the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, rebuffed Obama’s advocacy of perversion.

What is obvious from the UN campaign is that the organization does not want to spread the idea of libertarian freedom. Nothing in the UN campaign argues that it doesn’t matter to the civil power what sins consenting adults commit in private only between themselves. That may not be the position God wants civil governments to hold, but it would give these countries a plausible reason to stop prosecuting (or persecuting) homosexuals, without being forced to change all their ethical and religious beliefs.

But no, the UN is insisting that Kenyans and Senagalese and South Africans all the rest change their moralities. They must regard sexual preference as an “orientation” and therefore regard its practice as a kind of “civil right.” Rather than simply decriminalization, the UN is going to push for hate crimes laws, re-education, and the entire gamut of social engineering.

The result: the UN is going to intensify animosity and violence against homosexuals. They would rather see that happen than promote any kind of libertarian freedom.

One aspect of the moral blindness of the UN can be seen in their claims about anti-homosexual violence in South Africa:

“South Africa, in contrast, does not criminalize homosexuality and allows same-sex marriage, yet is plagued by extensive anti-gay violence, including frequent rapes of lesbians.”

I’m sure this odious crime is committed all the time against lesbians because lesbians are women and South Africa is notorious for frequent rapes of women. But is there extensive outside funding available for a campaign against rape in general? Nope. They just care about the homosexuals. The UN is taking a country rife with sexual violence of all sorts and using the part that fits their agenda.

This is the final battle, and it is one in which the United States, the real power behind the United Nations, is a force for evil in the world.

Jesse Jackson: Get The UN Involved in the Zimmerman Case

by

The idea of getting the federal Department of Justice involved in what should have remained a local story is preposterous. But Eric Holder announced recently that his department would be opening an investigation and will possibly bring civil rights charges against Zimmerman. We’ll see. Holder may have bitten off more than he can chew, since there isn’t any real evidence that Zimmerman “profiled” Martin because he was black.

As over-the-top as it is, getting the DOJ involved just isn’t enough for some people. Take a look at what Jesse Jackson said:

“Congress must act. And it’s time to call on the United Nations Human Rights Commission for an in-depth investigation of whether the U.S. is upholding its obligations under international human rights laws and treaties.”

All because a jury decided that Zimmerman was not guilty? Earlier, Jackson was complaining that there were no men or blacks on the jury. Only women. White women:

“Well, it was a stretch, trying to avoid the obvious. There was no–you speak of jury of your peers: there was no man on the jury—Trayvon was a black boy—there was no man, no black on the jury. So at least the idea of jury of your peers was a stretch all the while.”

The “jury of your peers” is something that applies to the person being accused of a crime. That would be George Zimmerman. And he was afforded a jury of his peers (except that they were women).

Jackson balks at an “unfair” jury composition, but then says we need to get an international body involved to determine whether or not we’re abiding by international human rights laws. But we are. Zimmerman was given a fair trial. Many argue that he shouldn’t have even been prosecuted in the first place because of a lack of evidence. That doesn’t mean that he was innocent; just that there wasn’t enough to prove one way or the other. That’s another one of those “human rights” that I’m sure Jesse Jackson doesn’t want to bring up in the context of this trial – the presumption of innocence until the accused is proven guilty. Even the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights acknowledges that one.

If the UN doesn’t deliver for Jesse Jackson, I’m sure he can call on the Galactic Republic.
