Is This Setting The Stage For A Third Party?

My question to you is does the current political situation we find ourselves in set the stage for a Third Party?

I don’t know what has happened just yet with John Boehner and the Speaker of the House vote, but I do know that Boehner is now the prevailing country-club Republican who stands for nothing. And that’s what conservatives have been getting out of the GOP majority House of Representatives since 2010: Nothing.

Orange is the new Black, baby.

I’m disgusted with the fact that Barack Obama was actually elected. Twice?

It wasn’t enough when he told me to my face and the world that he was going to spread the wealth around – we just had to see it for ourselves? Twice? When it comes to 2016 I know what I’m looking for and it’s not necessarity a Third Party.

I’d rather have a conservative Republican nominee like Reagan to just landslide their butts like we did in 2010 and 2014 and my solution is to find a guy and stick with him. What I mean by that is we need to get a candidate who not only reflects our values – but can win. Then no one will need a Third Party.. yet. But how?

What it comes down to is “what do I like about him(of her)?”

HuckabeeLet’s take Mike Huckabee: If he runs, what do I like about him?

There’s some obvious things I don’t like about him – he doesn’t seem to know where he stands on Common Core, for instance.

He keeps changing his mind, he’s for it, he doesn’t like it – change the name – I don’t like it.. But as a whole he might be your guy or my guy because he’s so strongly behind the FAIR Tax

You have to balance out the fact that no candidate is going to be the perfect candidate and what’s most important – we can deal with Common Core at the State level, but how good would it be for America if a FAIR tax was passed?

In other words, the good more than weighs out the unsure. I do know that Mike is a great guy – and yes, I don’t agree with him on everything – but can he win?

Everybody is coming out against Jeb Bush, and rightly so, but if Jeb Bush is the nominee, is he preferable to the Democrat nominee? Hillary Clinton? Elizabeth Warren?

jeb
“I’m gonna cut taxes, eliminate the Dept’s of Education and Energy, cut spending, get rid of the IRS, EPA, NSA and put unicorns on the Endangered Species List.. Yep.”

Here’s my advice to everyone: Find out what you cannot agree with about Jeb Bush and ask yourself: Does it outweigh what you like about him?

He’s going to have a lot of money and support – the RNC is going to back him and that means funding – a lot of it.

Will the Tea Party go to war against them and not back him?

Maybe.

And that begs the question: Is this the perfect time for a Third Party? We’ll be battling the Republican establishment and the Democrat establishment so it will be twice the war chest we normally go up against. But I can say with a lot of confidence that Speaker Boehner or no Speaker Boehner – we have the momentum.com01B

Now what are we going to do with it? What we did in 2012? We better not..

That’s why we gotta pick our guy and stick with him…

I like Mike Huckabee – he’s a really solid guy, I’ve met him many times – he’s a decent man who loves fishing and as a person, he’s really cool. This isn’t an endorsement, I’m just using Mike as an example because he’s quit his show at Fox, probably to run.

“Get your votes in ma belly!”

Before you begin accusing me of endorsing anyone – I’m not. Just know we can ask that about all the candidates, Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, Rand Paul – any of them.

  • Where are they on immigration?

  • National Security?

  • Common Core?

  • Jelly doughnuts?

  • Will he be able to take action when necessary?

  • Is he your candidate?

  • Will he make wise decisions?

  • What do you disagree with them on?

A lot of folks are looking to former Tea Party candidate Ted cruz – but one thing I’ve noticed about Ted Cruz is that he doesn’t invoke the phrase “Tea Party” any longer. Why?

Maybe he’s positioning himself for a national run, maybe he feels the brand is tarnished – I don’t know.

15-reasons-ted-cruz-is-the-most-badass-and-fearless-senator-republicans-have-seen-in-ages-300x150
Tea? No thanks, coffee please..

Maybe it’s smart, calculating – but do you still trust him? A lot of things he’s done we all like – but he’s not perfect – no one is.

So here’s what we’re going to do: We’re going to take on the RNC and we’re going to take on the DNC – and we’re gonna find that guy. And if your guy doesn’t make it – you can’t sit home – you have to coalesce behind whoever is running against Elizabeth Warren or Hillary or … Joe Biden?

Let’s say Jeb Bush wins? Are you going to sit home because your guy didn’t make it? That’s why Barak Obama was re-elected. Too many conservatives took their ball and bat and went home because Newt, Santorum, Rick Perry or Herman Cain wasn’t the nominee.

Happy? I’m not. Pick a guy and let’s everybody stick with it. Logic tells you that.

And we have to do it soon. All the badmouthing Republicans do in the primary sets the stage for the well-funded “moderate” like Romney or Jeb Bush to hang back and win it (then get their asses kicked by the Democrat nominee).

Senators Discuss Balanced Budget Amendment
Not a single person in the room has mentioned the hair… fooled ‘em again!

I doubt the Republican establishment is going to change the primary season in any way – because it favors their guy, so we have to get behind somebody and we have to do it as quickly as possible. Believe me, the Dems will rally behind whatever Maoist Wannabee they throw out there this time.more evidence

And you can bet Democrats will be laughing at us, tearing each other up and ending up with milquetoast. But…

If the establishment candidate prevails – does it set the stage for that Third Party? We better figure that out because it will hurt the GOP in the short run just like it got Bill Clinton elected in the 90’s. But how long are we going to put up with these Republicans rubber-stamping everything Barack Obama or any future president does?

I repeat – you can’t sit home. Do you want Hillary, Warren or Biden?

To answer the question: Have the GOP establishment set the stage for a Third Party? There are a lot of voters out there who want to vote Republican – many of whom are Democrats – who no longer feel connected to an ever-far-left reaching party that looks more and more like the Socialist Party.

There’s an equal amount of conservatives fed up with crony-Capitalism and the well-connected getting bailed out and the Middle-class getting the shaft. Plenty of folks who were Democrats changed when the DNC lost their minds and now the Republicans have lost their minds.

They promise the base everything, but go along with Big Government mentality when they legislate. My conservative ideals transcend Party identification and I know for a fact there’s plenty of Democrats and Republicans alike who agree with me. More than a few Democrats share my conservative belief in smaller, honest government. Capitalism, individual Liberty.

When I was running for Congress it was in a Democrat majority District and I spoke to thousands of Democrats who agreed with me way more than disagreed – once we got to talking, that is.

But we’re not going to find the perfect candidate, so find you’re guy and stick to him. Or else a Third Party is in the making… Which wouldn’t be bad in the long run.

At least you could feel good when you pull that lever.

11Tired of people talking about “moderate Muslims?” Me too, but here’s the difference: I don’t believe there is such a thing. “Moderate Muslim” is a misnomer – they are not moderate, they’ve just ‘backslidden’…

Don’t know that word? Let me explain: I’ve read the Koran. Pick it up sometime – you don’t have to take my word for it. Islam requires the faithful to spread their faith with violence. That’s the deal, spread the word by the sword.

Infidels will either convert or else.

The Muslim’s most folks call “moderate” aren’t moderate at all: They just aren’t following their Faith. Like a Christian who goes to services on Sunday, but Monday night after the football game they stop off at the topless bar, these so-called “moderate” Muslims are just backsliders. They’re not living up to the tenets of their faith and they know it.

They have a deficit in their devotion to Islam. They don’t speak out against violence, beheadings, bombing, threats, intimidation and murder because it’s in their Book.

End of story.

Now you listen to me: We know – all of us – know that we are going to have to deal with this problem. One day in the near future, we as Americans are going to have to go out and take care of business where these lunatic Islamic-fascist sociopaths are concerned.America Needs toWake Up

Imperial Islamic President ObamaJust like in the 1930’s when it became crystal clear that Hitler was going to have to be dealt with and destroyed, we are now faced with a critical decision. When?

Don’t pretend you haven’t thought of a future where it is happening in your own home town. A woman was brutally stabbed and beheaded today in Oklahoma. Enough?

Our soldiers are being ambushed and killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the world; tourists are having their throats sliced; Christian children are being starved and carved up in Iraq while we as Americans sit and do nothing? You think a few bombing raids by the new Barack ‘Blood & Guts’ Obama are going to change anything?

Think this is just going to go away one of these days? Islam is evil! And we have to deal with it now, not later! I’m tired of the excuses – you’re either with us or against us! Man up, lock & load, buckle-in your mindset and let’s quit fu*king around. This is going to happen and if we wait until our Pearl Harbor moment – which as far as I’m concerned was 9-11-2001 – it’s going to cost a hundred-thousand-times more in blood and treasure.

America is at risk. We have no real leadership that will make the hard choices or even properly salute the Marines that protect our Commander-in-Chief’s lifestyle. Our guy is playing golf, playing public opinion, or just playing us for the pussified lemmings we’ve become. How many Americans have to die before we take action?

You sit around and listen to the media talk about “moderate” Islam and how the vast majority of Muslims are against the violence and radical ideology? Really?

No, friendo, these are the backsliders who know they should be right there with these Islamo-Nazis – fighting Jihad wherever they find the Infidels. Their religion compels them and even though the best they can do is stay silent, make no mistake – they want it and they’re part of it – their shut mouths are the consent of cowards.

Let me guess, my friends on the left: Joe is paranoid?

Well listen up you dweebs, according to the Center for Immigration Studies there are 2.5 million immigrants from “predominantly Muslim countries” living in the U.S. right now and even in a post-9/11 world, the U.S. is welcoming hundreds and thousands of immigrants from Muslim-majority nations, while we’re at war with Islam?

Figure that Shite out and get back to me.

Why are we allowing this? I supposed because it’s working out so nicely in Britain and France? Ever hear of an incident in a place called “Rotherham?” It’s a little working-class city in the UK, where for 13 years without anyone intervening, over 1,400 girls were carefully groomed to be whores by members of the city’s Pakistani Muslim minority.

Why? Because Mohammed said it was okay. Look it up, you politically-correct buffoons – don’t take my word for it. Why haven’t you heard of such a tragedy and injustice? Because our media is enabling and assisting these scumbags out of fear of being seen as “Islamo-phobic?” If just 5% of the Muslims coming here were sympathetic and in-step with ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, or any of these sociopaths – we’re in big-ass trouble.

I’m drawing a line in the sand! Are you an American, are you loyal to America? Then stand up for her – screw your “political correctness” and start acting like an American!

One other thing for my detractors: I’m not Islamo-phobic. I can tell you that because that would indicate a fear of Islam, wouldn’t it? I’m not afraid because I have the truth on my side and the armor of Christ within arms-reach. You’d better prepare to strap on your version of it soon because if we wait – as we did in the 1930’s – people will find themselves struggling for air, no different than those mass-murdered in a Nazi gas chamber by the millions.

Only this time it will be because your head is being sawed off with a rusty, curvy, hate-filled knife.

Nothing moderate about that, my friend and it’s not a matter of “if”: … It’s “when”?

Threats to My Child

Kids are going to hurt themselves, and try as any parent may to protect them from all threats – they’re going to experience some bumps and bruises – no matter how vigilant you are. Especially when they’re very young –  they’re going to “fall down, go boom.”

daughterAs I sit here writing this, my 16-month-old daughter is eating an egg and mushroom omelette. She loves mushrooms.

Along with God and my wife, she’s one of the most precious things in my life. I look at her and want to make sure nothing bad ever happens to her but unfortunately, that is an impossibility.

Especially for my daughter who seems to be fearless.

She has not met an obstacle that is too big to climb, but at 16 months old, her balance and agility don’t match her adventurous spirit. Sometimes I’m able to catch her or at least lessen the fall.

Other times she falls, gets hurt and cries. My wife or I pick her up and love the pain away. As soon as my daughter feels better she’s at it again. What I’m describing above is natural though – just “growing pains.” Children will get hurt.

Riding bicycles, climbing slides, running and falling… it is called being a kid. It scares us as parents but of course it’s natural. Sadly, Now, there are also some very real unnatural threats/hurts out there that can guarded against.

For example. Would you send your 7-year-old daughter to a sex offenders house for a sleepover? That’s not a joke or even rhetorical, in fact, a “writer” on slate.com is suggesting just that – albeit with an explanation and caveat to at least think about:

In a “Dear Abbey” like column a lady identified as “Stumped” asks if she should allow her daughter to have a sleepover at a friend’s house where the father is a registered sex offender.  His offense occurred some years ago for having sex with his then 14-year-old girlfriend. He was 18 at the time and was turned in by the girls parents (rightly so in my opinion!).

Now Emily Yoffe at slate.com writes:

“He has been held accountable for his actions, he is no threat to the community (including your daughter), and what he did when he was a teen should not haunt him the rest of his days..”

So the question at least in Emily Yoffe’s mind becomes one of degree:  Should the actions of an 18-year-old follow him around on a permanent “sex offender” record – or should young people “in love” be treated differently than, say pedophiles, rapists or other types of sexual assault? Most parents of young girls know what this man did when he was 18 is wrong and would agree that a 14-year-old girl doesn’t have the ability to consent as an adult.

But decades later, now with his own daughter and family – is he a danger to society? Perhaps, but is it automatic and a no-brainer? Perhaps not. We’ve all read stories of authoritative overreach where a grade schooler will be charged with a sex offense for kissing the little red-haired girl in their second-grade class during recess.

Permanent record for rambunctious little 7-year-old Billy?

Or what about in States where a 16-year-old boy (notice I didn’t say, ‘man’?) can be charged with the statutory rape of his 15-year-old girlfriend – when both of them have been “hooking up” for  who knows how long?

I’m not excusing or condoning it. If I find out about something like this with my little angel when she grows up – that boy better hope he’s taken into custody before I get to him.

It is your responsibility to keep your children safe, that I know and harmless or not this is a “threat” that can be avoided. Alas, as I said, she’ll fall down and go boom a few times along the way, I’m afraid.

However, as her daddy, I will still try to protect her from all harm. That is what we do as parents. Daddy set a high standard
