The COVID-19 pandemic likely originated from a Chinese lab leak, the U.S. Department of Energy has reportedly concluded. According to a classified intelligence report recently supplied to the White House and key members of Congress, a leak from a Chinese laboratory is the likely origin of the COVID pandemic.

The Wall Street Journal reported, “The Energy Department now joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in saying the virus likely spread via a mishap at a Chinese laboratory.”

The WSJ stated, “The Energy Department’s conclusion is the result of new intelligence and is significant because the agency has considerable scientific expertise and oversees a network of U.S. national laboratories, some of which conduct advanced biological research.”

The report – which is reportedly less than five pages – noted that the Department of Energy made the determination with “low confidence.” In 2021, the FBI reportedly concluded that COVID escaped to the public through a lab leak. The FBI made its judgment with “moderate confidence.” The U.S. agencies allegedly clarified that COVID-19 escaped from a lab, and was not part of a Chinese biological weapons program.

Meanwhile, four other U.S. government agencies suspect that the coronavirus pandemic was most likely the result of natural transmission. Two other agencies – including the CIA – have yet to establish where the deadly pandemic originated.

David Relman – a Stanford University microbiologist – told the WSJ, “Kudos to those who are willing to set aside their preconceptions and objectively re-examine what we know and don’t know about COVID origins. My plea is that we not accept an incomplete answer or give up because of political expediency.”

A spokesperson for the Energy Department spokesman did not confirm or deny the report, but said the agency “continues to support the thorough, careful, and objective work of our intelligence professionals in investigating the origins of COVID-19, as the President directed.”

The initial explanation for the COVID-19 pandemic was that the virus originated from a wet market in Wuhan, China. Many believe that the virus mutated and was able to jump from animals to humans. However, the animal source was never actually identified. Since the pandemic began, there have been many who suspect that COVID-19 may have possibly escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China – a Chinese laboratory that studies coronaviruses and has the highest biosafety risk level.

The WSJ highlighted, “Wuhan is home to an array of laboratories, many of which were built or expanded as a result of China’s traumatic experience with the initial severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, epidemic beginning in 2002. They include campuses of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products, which produces vaccines.”

The lab leak theory has been dismissed by top health officials, major media outlets, and influential politicians. The idea that COVID came from a lab has been disregarded as a conspiracy theory. Some even claimed that just proposing the lab leak theory is racist.

In January, a group of national security experts slammed the New York Times and other legacy media outlets for dismissing the lab leak theory. Big tech previously censored the lab leak theory, and punished and even banned social media users who questioned the origin of COVID.

In early 2020, Dr. Anthony Fauci – the government’s top infectious diseases expert – along with other top health officials pushed messaging that a “laboratory-based scenario” is not plausible, and anyone suggesting otherwise is likely a conspiracy theorist.

Fauci told National Geographic in May 2020:

If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what’s out there now, [the scientific evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated … Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species.

In May 2021, Fauci admitted that he wasn’t “convinced” that COVID was caused by natural transmission.

‘We have failed our children’: Goldie Hawn warns COVID-19 pandemic has unleashed mental trauma on an entire generation of kids

Goldie Hawn warned that the national trauma inflicted on children by the COVID-19 pandemic is approaching and “could very well surpass” the dread brought on by the 9/11 terror attacks and the Cold War. In an op-ed for USA Today, Hawn described how she saw her “entire world get ripped apart” by the threat of all-out nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union in 1956 when she was in the fifth grade. After being shown a graphic and grim educational film about the dangers of nuclear war, the then-11-year-old Goldie Hawn ran home during lunch to call her mother at work and told her, “Mommy, come home quick! We’re all going to die!” Hawn said the threat of nuclear holocaust inflicted trauma on her for years.

“Even in high school, I’d hear a siren in the morning and be too terrified to go to school that day,” Hawn wrote. “This was a specific trauma that affected me, but it was a collective trauma, too – an entire generation of American children was, in some form or another, taught to think of nuclear holocaust as a real threat.”

Hawn compared the collective trauma endured by her generation to the upheaval other generations experienced – such as children who watched the Challenger space shuttle disaster happen live on Jan. 28, 1986, the kids who witnessed the Twin Towers collapse from the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and the youngsters who have had their lives turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We all know how magical a child’s imagination can be – the wonderful worlds they create in their minds. But there’s a flip side to the joyful creativity that can turn a big cardboard box into a spaceship,” the “Overboard” actress articulated. “A child’s mind exposed to real-world fear, without the ability to properly process it, can go down dark passages leading to nothing less than existential dread.”

Hawn explained that the COVID-19 pandemic has robbed adults and children of critical “support structures that all humans depend on for perspective, encouragement, and love.”

“The COVID era has changed our children’s lives in far more real, tangible ways — social distancing, school closures, daily mask use,” she added. “Kids are afraid of people, spaces, even the air around them – a level of constant fear not seen in decades.”

Hawn cited a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that found emergency room visits for suspected suicide attempts by adolescent girls spiked nearly 51% in 2021 and almost 4% for boys. The movie star noted that U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy cautioned in December that the COVID-19 pandemic has had “unprecedented impacts on the mental health of America’s youth and families.” She also linked to a declaration of national emergency in child and adolescent mental health by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Children’s Hospital Association.

“As health professionals dedicated to the care of children and adolescents, we have witnessed soaring rates of mental health challenges among children, adolescents, and their families over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, exacerbating the situation that existed prior to the pandemic,” the declaration stated in October. “Children and families across our country have experienced enormous adversity and disruption.”

Hawn commented on the alarming concerns about the mental health of America’s youth, “This tells us that as a nation, we have failed our children.””We are not properly funding preventive care and early interventions that normalize the mental struggles every individual has at some level,” the Academy Award-winning actress wrote. “There are everyday tools for mental fitness, just as there are for exercise and healthy eating; we just don’t teach them in any systematic way to our nation’s children.”

Hawn called for “helping children understand the chemical reactions that occur in their mind” when they hear the “latest horrifying statistic or headline on the evening news.” She said that understanding how the brain works will provide children with “the patience and confidence to put things in perspective, rather than fall victim to the emotions of the moment and end up in a helplessness that leads to depression and sometimes self-harm, the kind we are seeing in record numbers among children.”

She warned that the answer is not to allow kids to “be over-diagnosed or shuffled through a system that screens and treats extreme cases after they are too late.”

“We will survive the COVID-19 pandemic, but I’m not sure we can survive an entire generation whose collective trauma sends them hobbling into adulthood. We need more research, more preventative care and more early intervention. And there’s still time,” Hawn concluded. “If we get it right, today’s kids could emerge as the strongest generation America has ever produced.”

Hawn also made headlines this week when she appeared on “The Megyn Kelly Show” and proclaimed that Hollywood celebrities need to entertain the public no matter what political affiliations they have. “I stay in my lane,” Hawn declared when it comes to spouting political opinions.

OKLAHOMA HOSPITAL CLOSES, MEDICAL WORKERS LAID OFF DUE TO LACK OF PATIENTS

Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City closed down all operations except emergency, radiology, and ambulatory infusion after they were forced to close the rest of the hospital due to lack of patients. The numbers coming from WHO, the CDC and Dr Fauci have all been many multiples higher than they should have been.

In the case of Integris Baptist Hospital, their undoing was the cancelling of all elective surgeries on the assumption that the country did not have enough hospital beds to cover their needs. Even in New York, the epicenter of the disease, the numbers were many times what was needed. Andrew Cuomo said that New Yorkers would die because President Trump did not send him 30 thousand ventilators.

New York in fact needed less than the 4000 ventilators President Trump sent them.  The same holds true in the number of beds needed. Much of that number can be explained by actions from our president. He fearlessly issued travel bans from countries with a high rate of corona virus. President in fact saved countless thousands of lives.

From The Blaze

Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City closed down all operations except emergency, radiology, and ambulatory infusion. The hospital has experienced a 50% drop in revenues since procedures deemed nonessential by the government have been halted.
Oklahoma, like many states, has enacted a policy of temporarily banning nonessential medical procedures in an effort to preserve resources, especially personal protective equipment such as masks. In states without an overwhelming COVID-19 outbreak, some hospitals are seeing very little activity.
A spokeswoman for Integris said direct personal caregivers will be transferred to a larger hospital in the city, while non-direct patient care staff will be furloughed until the hospital reopens.
Furloughed workers won’t receive pay, although they will have access to benefits. They can be paid for the time they’re unable to work if they use their paid time off, and they will be allowed to use 80 more hours than they’ve actually accrued. Still, for many workers, that won’t go very far.
