Daniel Horowitz Op-ed: What is the conservative plan to deal with Biden’s Fourth Reich?

The time has come for a coalition of governors, attorneys general, and state legislators to demonstrate the power of broad-based federalism to interpose against extreme federal tyranny.

Many conservative commentators have finally woken up to smell the stench of the Fourth Reich following Biden’s speech targeting political opposition, reminiscent of the authoritarian language of past dictators. However, they should have been awake since March 2020, when our government declared de facto martial law on our lives, liberty, and property and used our bodies as lab rats with an ever-growing list of experimental therapies. They should have awoken from their slumber after Americans were targeted with solitary confinement and disproportionate punishment for zero or nebulous crimes at the Capitol on January 6, after months of killing, rioting, and looting by BLM with impunity.

If Biden’s speech is really to be a turning point in this one-sided cold war that is heating up, conservatives should resolve to use the power they already wield over Republican governors and demand united action for states to protect constitutional rights from this thuggish Biden administration and national security deep state apparatus that threatens our liberties more than any foreign enemy in our history. Rather than making idle promises of winning back the House with RINOs or winning back the presidency years from now when it’s too late, we should be demanding action now from 20 or so GOP trifecta-controlled state governments. If they fail to take action now, then the entire point of federal elections with divided government is moot.

What would a coalition of federalism look like? A group of prominent governors, attorneys general, and state legislative speakers and majority leaders would initiate a declaration in one state – let’s call it the “Miami Declaration,” for example. The declaration would lay out a list of grievances and examples of the federal government violating the rights of the individual: from medical freedom and bodily autonomy to privacy infringement, collusion with big tech against First Amendment rights, and using federal agencies to persecute political opponents. The declaration would pronounce these states to be constitutional sanctuaries that protect all constitutional rights, including against the federal government. Here are just a few ideas that should be contained in the declaration:

  • Criminalize the enforcement of any federal COVID mandate – whether by a federal, state, or private actor – within the boundaries of the states. This would include so-called federal lands within the state.
  • Block federal agents from entering the states to target political opposition.
  • Order all education and health care institutions within the state to stop complying with recent edicts on transgenderism or COVID with the threat of severe fines.
  • Block the distribution of any new vaccines that have not been properly studied.
  • Create a commission to study who is responsible for the COVID response and the botched therapeutics, along with an audit of what other therapeutics are in the pipeline that violate bioethical norms.
  • Nullify onerous federal regulations on energy and mineral exploration and production within the coalition of states so that states can begin protecting their residents from the coming nuclear winter on energy use.
  • Impose severe penalties on tech companies that censor political opponents of the regime until they come clean on the scope of collaboration with the federal government against these individuals.
  • Provide legal and financial backing to those political dissidents being targeted by the federal government primarily for their political views.
  • Suspend all training and cooperation between state and local law enforcement and the federal alphabet soup agencies.

Even if Republicans refuse to block funding for the vaccines, Paxlovid, and Ukraine – most likely because they agree with Democrats on those issues – they should at least withhold support until the extra funding for the IRS is kept out of the bill. Fighting overzealous taxation, especially when it is politically targeted, was always a universal value of the Republican Party. The IRS waited until Friday afternoon before the holiday weekend to admit that information from 120,000 form 990-T filers was inadvertently posted online due to “a human coding error.” These means the names, contact information, and financial information of about 120,000 people who have IRAs in non-security assets were breached. Does anyone really trust that the IRS is telling us the whole truth?

From now until the election, Republicans will seek to distract us with flaccid promises of deliverance in the future. The best way to verify their sincerity is by demanding that they actually use the power they currently hold to counter deeply destructive and unpopular policies from this regime.

Ah the tolerant, long-suffering Left. Progressives preach inclusivity and acceptance of any and all lifestyles and beliefs. Yes, that’s what they preach. But their actions don’t match the message. In other words, Lefties don’t walk the talk. At least not THAT tolerance talk.

Oh sure liberals, Socialists, love love, love other Lefties and Socialists. But confront them with any opposing views, say conservative values, and the façade fades quicker than a puff of smoke. 

Remember fading pop-star Madonna proclaiming, “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”

Wowsie!

Apparently Ms. Madonna “Material Girl” Louise Ciccone has never heard of 18 U.S. Code § 871 which states (emphasis mine):

(a) Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

Hmmm. That right there Missy M indicates that your little tirade at the despicable “Women’s March” could have easily been a federal offense earning you a fine or imprisonment or both! Got orange?

I could cite numerous examples, including the death threats I’ve personally received from radical liberals AND from a Muslim extremist.

My response?

I like the line Sandra Bullock speaks playing the part of Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side. A gang-banger has just called her b*tch and “Leigh Anne’s” mouth clenches, she turns around and calmly gives the young thug a well-deserved, fierce mama bear tongue-lashing:

No, you hear me, BITCH!. You threaten my son, you threaten me. You so much as cross into downtown, you will be sorry. I’m in a prayer group with the D.A., I’m a member of the N.R.A. and I’m always packing.

That’s a little like me. I know people in high places (including current and former special operators), I pray, support the NRA, and I pack heat. So no worries. But back to the subject at hand.

The truth is that The Left, the Progressives/Socialists, are not in the least open-minded or tolerant unless you espouse their very same lefty worldview, in which case that is not even tolerance!!! Group-think yes; tolerance no.

I have heard liberals call conservatives “haters.” Just in general. They may not know any conservatives personally, but they seem to know that conservatives are “haters.”

Methinks The Left doth protest too much. Take out the log in your own eye, you perverted people.

Every conservative I know loves people and if they’re packing heat, would protect your miserable, whiny, safe-space seeking self if a violent situation arose. The trouble is, most of the violence emanates from gatherings of radical Lefties.

Well, take a look at this video about what happens when a conservative man has the big “coming out” talk with his dad. It contains a few colorful metaphors, but you’ll get the point. (Oh and cat lovers, such as myself, it’s a spoof and a real cat does not actually die):

Charlotte Pride Parade Goes Fully Fascist, Dumps Trump Supporters From Marching

Liberals are constantly, and redundantly, reminding the world that they believe themselves to be the bastions of tolerance and understanding in America.

For centuries, progressives and leftists alike have attempted to paint their political enemies as racist, sexist, bigoted, and intolerant in an effort to swing the national opinion against them.  It all began after the Civil War, as the left began a campaign to equate the south, and thusly conservatives, with the horrific practice of slavery.  They worked to achieve this perversion of perception by installing the erroneous message into the nation’s public education curriculums, and in the media battlefield.

From that time forward, conservatives have been made synonymous with bigotry according to liberal leaders, in an attempt to sway future generations from researching the concepts and foundations of the right wing.  Now, however, it has become apparent that the left has grown to be the intolerant embarrassment of American culture with their New Fascist movement and attempts to delegitimize President Donald Trump.

It has gotten so ridiculous that even gay pride parade organizers are pulling a page out of the Adolph Hitler discriminatory handbook.

“A group says ‘Charlotte Pride’ is pushing them out of the Gay Pride Parade because they support President  Trump.

“‘I’m very proud of my country, proud of my president, and was once proud of my community,’ said Brian Talbert, who said he’s proud to be gay and proud to be a republican.

“‘I’m very proud of my vote. I don’t regret my vote. I will vote for Donald Trump again. I’m proud of my president. I don’t think I should be vilified because I’m proud of a U.S. president as an American.’

“Talbert said he and a fellow gay republican sent in an application to Charlotte Pride so they could have a float in this year’s Charlotte Pride Parade.

“‘It was going to be fun. We wanted to be energetic. We wanted to show that we weren’t the racist, bigot; misogynistic…We wanted to show that we are Americans, love our country and our president. We wanted to be there to celebrate gay pride. Everything fell into place except being able to celebrate who I am,’ he said.

“Talbert said Charlotte Pride sent him an email denying his application for a float.”

 

Charlotte Pride cited their carte blanche power to deny any organization that doesn’t fit with their “mission” from marching in the parade; an incorrigibly intolerant view for a gay pride organization in the South.

This sort of Fascist censorship has become the left’s most effective new tactic in the war against the American conservative.  By simply limiting access to the public, liberals are hoping to smother and suffocate conservative viewpoints during the time of Trump’s first term in hopes of directing the national conversation during the 2020 election.  What many of these lunatic leftists don’t realize, however, is that their totalitarian actions are merely galvanizing support for the President and republican party.

When the next election cycle begins in 3 years, the left should be prepared to reap what they’ve sown.
