The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) purged its website of numerous videos and documents related to its pediatric gender clinic following public outrage over gender transition procedures being offered to minors there.
Clinic staff encouraged school employees to keep children’s gender identity secret from parents and promoted biomedical interventions for young children in some of the since-removed online resources, which have been saved in online archives.
“In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being,” one document read.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which operates a gender clinic, removed numerous videos and posts discussing childhood gender transitions, including irreversible surgeries, from its website amid public backlash, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
The CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Program came under scrutiny in September 2022 after some of its training videos on childhood gender transitions were circulated online, and the clinic said it was tightening its security that October due to threats. Resources including videos in which clinic staff promoted cross-sex medical interventions for minors and advised school workers to keep children’s gender identity secret from their families have since disappeared from CHOP’s website; these pages are saved in online archives, but their links either redirect to error pages or go to pages that have been heavily altered with certain links removed. A CHOP webpage linking to a document that promoted “gender-affirming care” for youth, including mastectomies for girls as young as 13, was saved to online archives in June 2022, but that page had been removed from public view by November. The document was produced by CHOP’s PolicyLab, which conducts research and makes public policy recommendations on health care issues.
“Many transmasculine youth … experience chest dysphoria, which is physical and emotional distress caused by the presence of unwanted breast tissue,” the document read. “In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being.”
The CHOP website also removed the public’s ability to download annual reports on the clinic’s achievements in medicine, outreach and advocacy, which were publicly available as of June 2022 but needed to be requested by email as of January 2023, according to online archives. One such report previously obtained by the DCNF revealed that the clinic had hired a social worker to help minors access “gender-affirming” surgeries by gathering letters of support and requesting that insurance companies cover the procedure.
CHOP’s “Professional Resources for the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic” web page featured an LGBTQ Education Program section and a video resources section as of September 2021, according to online archives, but neither exist on the current website. An hour-long webinar on adolescent medical transition that advised puberty blockers as young as eight and hormones and surgeries as young as 14 was among the links scrubbed from the page, along with videos titled“Supporting Transgender and Gender Expansive Students” and “Discussing Sexuality and Safer Sex with Trans Clients;” the videos are all currently unlisted on YouTube.

A family support and education specialist for CHOP urged school counselors to keep students’ preferred names and pronouns secret from their families and other school staff in the now-removed video on supporting trans students. The same webinar said school bathrooms, locker rooms and sports should be organized based on gender identity rather than biological sex.
CHOP’s Gender and Sexuality Development Program was one of several child gender clinics to come under fire in late 2022 as online activists publicized videos and documents detailing cross-sex medical treatments being offered to children.
Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago came under scrutiny for promoting a “LGBTQ sex shop for teens” that sold sex toys including dildos, vibrators, harnesses and anal toys in its “Beyond the Binary” lessons for local schools, and Boston Children’s Hospitalreceived a bomb threat after unearthed documents and videos revealed the hospital had performed dozens of “gender affirming” mastectomies on children.
The CHOP gender clinic did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
After the death of George Floyd, leaders in Democratic cities across the country, who were alternately scared and desperate to virtue signal, refused to take action while the ensuing riots and looting did billions of dollars in damage to city centers across the U.S. And amid many callous and inept responses to the crisis, Seattle is a leading contender for the locality that handled things the worst.
Today, the city agreed to settle a lawsuit in federal district court that alleged the city violated the civil rights of several business owners after it ordered police to withdraw from a section of its Capitol Hill neighborhood and let protesters set up their own lawless “autonomous zone.” The area became alternately known as either the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) or Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP). This left business owners in the areas completely abandoned as law and order broke down — without a police presence, there was rampant violence, drug markets, and literal armed warlords patrolling the streets.
The settlement comes after a federal judge levied major sanctions on the city for apparently deleting thousands of text messages involving, among others, the city’s former mayor and police chief relating to their handling of the autonomous zone. The notion that city officials had something to hide here is certainly at odds with the rhetoric during the month the city abandoned the business owners in the CHAZ.
Former Mayor Jenny Durkan went on CNN and said what was happening in the CHAZ was “a block party atmosphere.” “We could have the summer of love,” she said. When Trump lambasted the city for abandoning law and order, this resulted in a defensive Twitter spat between Durkan and the former president, and Gov. Jay Inslee told Trump to “stay out of Washington state’s business.”
Not that there was ever any doubt, but with Seattle settling this lawsuit it’s now impossible to argue that city officials weren’t encouraging violence and guilty of abdicating their most basic responsibility to keep citizens safe. Or is it? If you’re wondering who would be so desperate to cling to a political narrative they would insist letting anarchists take control of your city wasn’t so bad, well, here’s today’s Seattle Times write-up featuring an epic “challenge accepted” moment:
While CHOP was mostly peaceful, there were instances of vandalism and sporadic outbreaks of violence, including fights, an attempt to torch the abandoned police precinct and at least four shootings that claimed two lives of two teenagers, including a 16-year-old boy whose death led the city to end the protest.
That’s right, other than the fights, shootings, multiple homicides, and an attempt to burn a police station to the ground, it was “mostly peaceful,” says the local newspaper. Who among us wouldn’t mistake what was going on here for a “summer of love”?
The media’s suspicious coalescing around the phrase “mostly peaceful” to describe the Floyd protests in the summer of 2020 was always transparently dishonest. The CNN chyron declaring the protests in Kenosha “mostly peaceful” as the city was in flames in the background is now iconic.
However, it is truly astonishing that two years later a major newspaper is still clinging to this phrase like some talisman they hope will ward off holding their local leaders responsible for, among many other crimes, facilitating the deaths of two young black men.

Seattle anarchist zone warlord Raz Simone had a meltdown this weekend over the refusal of an ambulance squad to enter the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) to respond to a shooting incident early Saturday morning until police were allowed to accompany them.

Simone posted video of a Seattle ambulance squad being berated but promised protection for the squad. One man died and another was critically wounded in the shootings in CHAZ, later dubbed CHOP for Capitol Hill Organized Protest. The ambulance squad leader can be seen on the video talking to dispatch awaiting their permission to enter with police protection.
In comments posted to Twitter in response to critics, Simone backpedaled on CHAZ being an autonomous zone apart from the United States.
Video:
“Medics refused to help even after people in the CHOP begged. They let our bro bleed out for 30 minutes till he died. Fuck politics. Fuck your currupt system.”

…A video posted to Instagram by Seattle musician Raz Simone, who’s been a frequent presence at CHOP, shows fire department medics waiting a block away, despite the filmer’s desperate pleas for them to respond to the scene of the shooting.
“I want to be sure that we have not been cleared to move into the scene,” an ambulance driver says into the radio. “That’s negative,” comes the response.
Police arrived at 2:26 a.m., according to the timeline, but staged at 12th and Cherry, at least seven blocks away. Video shot by Omari Salisbury, a citizen journalist with Converge Media, shows police arriving at the shooting scene in a phalanx, guns drawn, behind shields. They were met by angry, yelling protesters, who told them the victim had already been taken to the hospital.
Body camera video released by police Saturday shows yelling protesters, many using profanities and several coming right up to the marching officers, as an officer says into a bullhorn, “Please move out of the way so we can get to the victim! All we want to do is get to the victim!”
Protesters can be heard shouting at the officers to “put your guns down!”
At one point, a group of protesters formed a human chain to try to stop other protesters from following the retreating police.
Meanwhile, volunteer medics, who have been a fixture in the area since protests began, were treating the first gunshot victim, a 19-year-old man. A private car took him a mile south to Harborview Medical Center. He arrived at 2:43 a.m. and was pronounced dead 11 minutes later, according to the fire department timeline…
…Alex Bennett, a former nurse, said she was walking her dog with a friend when she came across the second victim on the hood of a car, bleeding from a wound in his arm.
Bennett said she used her sweatshirt as a tourniquet to try to stanch the bleeding and asked someone to call 911. When a volunteer CHOP medic came by with a first aid kit, Bennett said they examined the man and found another wound in his chest.
The man’s skin was turning clammy and his breathing was shallow, she said, and when it became clear an ambulance wasn’t coming — or wouldn’t be there fast enough — she and others loaded him into a van and raced to Harborview, arriving at 3:06 a.m., where a medical team was waiting outside. He remained in the hospital, with life-threatening injuries, Saturday evening, according to police.
Bennett said she was questioned by a police officer, who she said “told me that when they responded to the first victim they were chased out of there, which is why they didn’t come for the second one.”

The brother of CHAZ/CHOP shooting victim Lorenzo Anderson has claimed that the “protesters” hid his brother from him as he laid dying inside a tent.

The shooting inside the Seattle “autonomous zone” took place on Saturday morning. Two people were struck by the gunfire, which left 19-year-old Anderson dead.
Speaking to a livestreamer, the brother of Anderson said that the “protesters” hid his brother from him while he was dying.
The brother says that he got the call about the shooting around 1 a.m. and rushed down there. He found that the police had not even arrived yet. Local station Q13 reports that “when attempting to respond, people inside the occupied zone in Capitol Hill known now as the ‘CHOP’ would not let police gain access to the scene. Because of this, emergency officials were not able to respond either, officials said.”

“My little brother was in a tent. They hid my little brother from me for the longest — I thought my little brother was at a hospital,” he said. “I didn’t see where they had my little brother at until about 9 o’clock this morning. The table was covered in blood.”
The brother claimed that “protesters” told him that the blood did not belong to his brother, but he pointed out that the other shooting victim drove themselves to the hospital and that his brother was the only one who was bleeding out at CHAZ.
“Why did they lie to me about what was on that table?” he asked.
In a video that’s gone viral, a black woman left a white woman speechless as she explained why she’s not voting for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden this fall.
What are the details?
“We’re black women, but we do not support Black Lives Matter because they’re hand-in-hand with Planned Parenthood that kills African-American babies,” Beatty added to Fox News. “They’re fraudulent hypocrites … and I believe all lives matter because God created them. There are thousands of George Floyds that die every day in their mother’s womb, and it’s just as [unjust] as when he died at the hands of that police officer.”
She also called it “ironic” that they were cited for “illegally protesting” and said de Blasio and Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo have an agenda and really don’t care about saving lives, the cable news network noted.
“Let me tell you something, Christians get it the worst,” Beatty said in a Facebook Live video moments before she was handcuffed, Fox News said. “I have not been so harassed by the police until I started doing this!”
The Seattle district known as CHOP — for “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” — and initially known as CHAZ, has been occupied by demonstrators for over a week. The protesters pushed the police out of their precinct station a week ago.

Democrats around the country are pushing to defund police departments following the deaths of George Floyd in Minneapolis and Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta. At the same time the American left and their fake news media are promoting anti-police protests and the demonization of police.
On Monday night a business owner in CHAZ or CHOP told reporters he called the police to report a burglary in progress but no one came.
The owner of a business on the cusp of Seattle’s so-called “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” zone – or CHOP – says he called 911 to report a burglary in progress, but no one showed up.
“We’re just trying to run a small business, make a living, be good members of society. And try to be good neighbors to the neighborhood and I think we’ve really been let down by the mayor’s office, the Seattle Police Department and the fire department,” said John McDermott a co-owner of Car Tender on Capitol Hill.
McDermott says early Monday morning he was alerted that his repair shop was being broken into. McDermott and his son drove to the scene while on the phone with 911.
“There were no police officers on scene ever. And I was here all night long,” he said.

If you’ve been getting your news from right-wing media, you probably think armed militant Antifa activists have seized a section of Seattle.
Right-wing media says Antifa militants have seized part of Seattle. Local authorities say otherwise
Armed militant activists with the group Antifa have seized a sizable section of Seattle and are plotting to expand their territory — all as the local police surrender to them and evacuate a local…
In his report Darcy says the local officials said there was “no interaction” with armed individuals at the CHAZ encampment.
TGP reporter Cassandra Fairbanks immediately responded to Darcy’s hit piece with video of armed antifa-anarchist terrorists in the Capitol Hill Free Zone (CHAZ).
