While in Madrid, Barack Obama paused to make some excuses for the behavior of the well-meaning, peaceful, Black Lives Matter movement. He maintains that the good intentions of the ‘movement’ shouldn’t be judged by the actions of a few non-peaceful protestors.
Here’s exactly what he said:
“In a movement like Black Lives Matter, there’s always going to be some folks who say things that are stupid, or imprudent or over-generalized or harsh. And, I don’t think that you can hold well-meaning activists who are doing the right thing, and peacefully protesting, responsible for everything that is uttered at a protest site…”
Obama wants us to know that he doesn’t think “you can hold well-meaning activists…responsible for everything uttered at a protest site.”
Interesting. Does that mean he believes in the First Amendment?

I wonder if he notices that doesn’t use that same standard when it comes to the law-abiding, well-meaning gun owners? Let’s see how that fits: “…you can’t hold well-meaning, law-abiding gun-owners responsible for everything a criminal does with a gun.” Yeah – that works doesn’t it? It’s too bad that doesn’t believe the same regarding the Second Amendment. Oh, but – wait – that doesn’t fit within his agenda.
Hopeless!
