A television crew from the Australian news program “60 Minutes” experienced a serious dose of reality when it went to Stockholm, Sweden, to report on the European refugee crisis. The crew, including Australian celebrity newswoman Liz Hayes and a couple of cameramen, had just arrived in the Rinkeby district of Stockholm and were preparing to interview Syrian refugees. Before they could even get out of the vehicle, a cameraman was assaulted and kicked to the ground.

Almost 90 per cent of the residents in Rinkeby are from an immigrant background, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. Jan Sjunnesson, from local news website Avpixlat, said six police officers were then assigned to protect the crew as they attempted to interview more refugees.

All went well until the police left the scene and a group of men wearing masks and hoodies circled the crew and attacked them, the Morning Herald reported. Two members were physically attacked and one man threw a bottle at the cameraman.

One cameraman was “beaten right across the chin so that a tooth (came) loose,” Sjunnesson said.

Sjunnesson also said the news crew compared Rinkeby to a war zone. “They told me that they were in Somalia, Syria and Iraq, but nothing like that has just happened to them, they had never experienced [this] anywhere else,” she said.

Watch the altercations around the 3:30 and 5:28 marks in the video below:

As you can see, the news crew did not provoke the refugees in either of these situations.

Refugees were not provoked in the following video as a reporter attempted to report the news.

This video is a serious reminder of what President Barack Obama is sending our way. We need to wake up and take some sort of precautions against this so-called “religion of peace” before it is too late.RAPEUGEES
